- 0:00Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show, live from the WOR LifeVac studios.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey, it's our number three. Now, President Trump in South Carolina.
- 0:13Speaker 2: He's been traveling all over the country. He's back there
- 0:15Speaker 2: to do a rally for Darlene Graham. That's the sister
- 0:19Speaker 2: of Lindsey Graham, who's running for his Senate seat now.
- 0:22Speaker 2: She's not the greatest candidate. But she's new to all
- 0:26Speaker 2: of this. But Trump has gone back today. I think
- 0:29Speaker 2: it's the third time he's come there to do rally
- 0:31Speaker 2: for her. Now, if you're watching the fake news, if
- 0:33Speaker 2: you're watching MSNOW or CNN, they'll tell you, well, it's
- 0:38Speaker 2: obvious that they're in trouble in South Carolina. If he
- 0:41Speaker 2: has to go back there three times, why, it's obvious
- 0:43Speaker 2: that they're in real trouble. It's actually the other way around.
- 0:47Speaker 2: If he's coming back there again, It means now they're
- 0:51Speaker 2: not using the fake public polls. They would use the deadly, accurate,
- 0:55Speaker 2: real polls. If he's gone back there, it means she's
- 0:59Speaker 2: got a good chance. If it was hopeless, they wouldn't
- 1:02Speaker 2: go back there. That wouldn't look good for the president
- 1:05Speaker 2: who endorsed the candidate who's about to lose. So they
- 1:07Speaker 2: only go back if they see he's got a good chance.
- 1:11Speaker 2: So obviously things don't look that bad for her. Otherwise,
- 1:14Speaker 2: he wouldn't be there for the third time today. These
- 1:18Speaker 2: rallies will continue. On the weekend, he's going to go crazy,
- 1:23Speaker 2: flying all over the country, doing a million rallies. Election day,
- 1:26Speaker 2: five days from now. It's Tuesday, but do the early voting.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Get out and vote today or tomorrow or Saturday. Much
- 1:35Speaker 2: easier to do the early voting, and it'd be a
- 1:37Speaker 2: big help. Don't wait till the last minute. Ilhan Omar
- 1:41Speaker 2: is in real trouble. She's got some big, heavyweight Washington, D.C.
- 1:46Speaker 2: lawyers because it looks like they got the goods on her.
- 1:49Speaker 2: marrying her brother. They got DNA. They got all kinds
- 1:52Speaker 2: of things. They got text messages. They got documents. They
- 1:56Speaker 2: got her old tweets. It looks like they got her.
- 1:57Speaker 2: She's in real trouble. And Ilhan Omar, a petition was
- 2:02Speaker 2: done by the House of Representatives demanding that President Trump,
- 2:07Speaker 2: the Justice Department, drop the investigation, stop weaponizing law enforcement. Well,
- 2:13Speaker 2: 175 House Democrats signed the petitions. But what's interesting is
- 2:22Speaker 2: 40 Democrats refused to sign. 40 Democrats did not want
- 2:29Speaker 2: to take Ilhan Omar aside. 40 Democrats wanted to distance
- 2:33Speaker 2: themselves from Ilhan Omar. That included Tom Suozzi from Long Island,
- 2:38Speaker 2: Laura Gillen, Josh Gottheimer, Speaker of the House, former Speaker
- 2:45Speaker 2: of the House, Nancy Pelosi. chose not to sign the document,
- 2:52Speaker 2: not to sign the petition. How about that? Hakeem Jeffries,
- 2:55Speaker 2: of course, signed it, but, you know, he's kind of
- 2:57Speaker 2: a goofball. But interesting how many smarter Democrats refused to
- 3:04Speaker 2: sign that thing. Hey, Hassan Piker, this awful, awful anti-Semite,
- 3:10Speaker 2: is now suing Scott Jennings, the conservative CNN commentator. Scott
- 3:17Speaker 2: Jennings is Also does a big radio show that's heard
- 3:21Speaker 2: all over the country. And I think that's where the
- 3:25Speaker 2: comments took place. Hassan Piker suing Scott Jennings for $ 73
- 3:30Speaker 2: million in damages. Apparently he thinks that Jennings advocated... Jennings
- 3:38Speaker 2: claimed that Hassan Piker was for lynching black people. The
- 3:43Speaker 2: complaint centers on Piker, who said on his own stream...
- 3:50Speaker 2: This is a quote from Piker. He says, we need
- 3:51Speaker 2: more Klansmen, okay? Can we go back to a better
- 3:55Speaker 2: time when lynchings were happening? Well, if he said that,
- 3:58Speaker 2: and that's the quote from his thing, and if that's
- 4:03Speaker 2: what he said, well, Jennings is right, and Piker should
- 4:08Speaker 2: be the one getting sued by everybody. But Piker is
- 4:11Speaker 2: now saying he was talking about a debate between black
- 4:17Speaker 2: political commentators and And he was making fun of a
- 4:20Speaker 2: conservative saying that. So he's claiming he wasn't saying that
- 4:25Speaker 2: as himself. He was imitating what he believes as a conservative.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Of course, either way, it's crazy. But he's claiming Jennings
- 4:33Speaker 2: distorted the quote. So we'll see where that lawsuit goes.
- 4:38Speaker 2: The problem is in the lawsuit, Jennings would be able
- 4:43Speaker 2: to depose him, question him, bring up all kinds of bad,
- 4:48Speaker 2: Past stuff of Hasan Piker. Not going to look good
- 4:51Speaker 2: for Piker. You know, these AI data centers, these massive,
- 4:57Speaker 2: massive data centers all over the place. Well, to build
- 5:01Speaker 2: a data center, it's not just an enormous building, but
- 5:04Speaker 2: it's got a lot of stuff in it. All kinds
- 5:07Speaker 2: of state-of-the-art stuff in there. And that all is delivered
- 5:13Speaker 2: by ships. It all comes to docks. And criminals are
- 5:18Speaker 2: ripping off the shipments. You remember watching The Sopranos where
- 5:22Speaker 2: they controlled the port? Remember the docks and the guy
- 5:27Speaker 2: would say to Christopher, floor tiles, look at that, floor tiles. Oh,
- 5:31Speaker 2: what's that over there? High-speed cable, fiber optics. And they'd
- 5:36Speaker 2: kind of give a wink and it would all disappear.
- 5:41Speaker 2: And was that the Esplanade? I don't know. I can't
- 5:43Speaker 2: remember all that. And then Johnny Sack would have to
- 5:46Speaker 2: come in from New York. I told you, no looting
- 5:49Speaker 2: on that job. Remember, there was one where you weren't
- 5:53Speaker 2: supposed to take anything, but what's his name? Parisi said
- 5:58Speaker 2: to Stevie Van Zandt, what do you think? And he goes,
- 6:03Speaker 2: go ahead. What? You sure? I got your back. So
- 6:07Speaker 2: apparently that's going on now. $ 100 million in data center
- 6:11Speaker 2: gear just in the last few months went missing. very
- 6:15Speaker 2: expensive semi semiconductor chips, fiber optic cables, servers, copper wire,
- 6:23Speaker 2: Bitcoin mining machines. These have all been disappearing. Now this
- 6:28Speaker 2: is not a Christopher and, uh, those guys, uh, strong arming.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Apparently a lot of it is done with all kinds
- 6:36Speaker 2: of technology. They hack into systems, get it delivered to
- 6:39Speaker 2: the wrong place. They're using phony driver's licenses and, uh,
- 6:43Speaker 2: phony GPS coordinates to pull off some of these highs.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Some of it just out and out stolen. But they
- 6:51Speaker 2: also stole roughly a couple million in custom-made modular power equipment.
- 6:56Speaker 2: You've got to give these mobsters credit. Boy, they keep
- 6:59Speaker 2: up on all the latest stuff. They change with the times.
- 7:04Speaker 2: You know that Coca-Cola has a strange relationship with Gen Z.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Gen Z has now taken to Diet Coke, and they're
- 7:15Speaker 2: calling it fridge cigarettes. What the hell does that mean? Well,
- 7:22Speaker 2: I guess they call it the, it's a midday thing.
- 7:25Speaker 2: It's like, you know, a lot of people go outside
- 7:27Speaker 2: to have a cigarette. You're not allowed to smoke in
- 7:29Speaker 2: the office. So, you know, you're addicted. You go out
- 7:33Speaker 2: and you have a cigarette. So they're calling Diet Coke
- 7:35Speaker 2: fridge cigarettes. In other words, it's kind of a thing
- 7:39Speaker 2: when you're stressed out in the office. Instead of a
- 7:42Speaker 2: smoke break, you get a Diet Coke out of the refrigerator.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Instead of the nicotine, you're basically swapping caffeine for the nicotine.
- 7:51Speaker 2: So they asked the CEO of Coca-Cola, and he said,
- 7:55Speaker 2: we embrace it. Yeah, no, it's fine. It's great for us. Actually,
- 7:59Speaker 2: they love it because it means a big resurgence in
- 8:02Speaker 2: Diet Coke among Gen Z. And he said... He's happy.
- 8:08Speaker 2: It's a brand that's reinventing itself with the next generation
- 8:11Speaker 2: of consumers. You know what's interesting? You go down the
- 8:15Speaker 2: East River, Manhattan, of course, the greatest skyline. And then
- 8:20Speaker 2: over the last few years, you look across in Queens. Oh,
- 8:22Speaker 2: there were actually a couple of skyscrapers, two or three.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Now you go down there, there's a whole skyline. Brooklyn
- 8:29Speaker 2: has a skyline. Skyscrapers everywhere in Queens. Brooklyn has a
- 8:34Speaker 2: new one. That's the tallest, single tallest building in Queens,
- 8:41Speaker 2: 70 stories, 7-0, 70 stories, 823 feet high. It's the
- 8:48Speaker 2: tallest building in Queens. It's got rental apartments, and it
- 8:52Speaker 2: turns out they just leased 90% of them. It's only
- 8:56Speaker 2: been on the market nine months, but they've leased 90%
- 8:59Speaker 2: of them. Now, the good news is, if you're living
- 9:03Speaker 2: on a skyscraper on the east side of Manhattan... You
- 9:06Speaker 2: look out and you get an incredible view of Queens.
- 9:08Speaker 2: It's okay, I guess, but if you live in one
- 9:12Speaker 2: of these Queens skyscrapers, you got a better view because
- 9:15Speaker 2: you're looking at Manhattan. You're looking at all the iconic
- 9:18Speaker 2: Manhattan buildings on that skyline. Same thing if you're in
- 9:22Speaker 2: Fort Lee or Edgewater, if you're in New Jersey, all
- 9:25Speaker 2: those condos along the water. What a view you have
- 9:28Speaker 2: of the Manhattan skyline. Of course, the problem is you're
- 9:32Speaker 2: in New Jersey. All you get to do is look
- 9:35Speaker 2: at Manhattan. You're not there. And they tell you, well,
- 9:37Speaker 2: it's right over the bridge. Oh, I'm right next to Manhattan.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Right over the bridge. Yeah, try to get over that
- 9:42Speaker 2: bridge in the middle of the day. Take you an
- 9:44Speaker 2: hour and a half to get over that bridge. Now, McDonald's,
- 9:50Speaker 2: I don't know why they're going so crazy trying everything.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Just stick to what you do. But McDonald's keeps trying
- 9:57Speaker 2: to reinvent. Every now, they're getting in all kinds of.
- 10:00Speaker 2: special drinks. McDonald's will be unveiling these drinks at all
- 10:04Speaker 2: the McDonald's. They all sound terrible. Look at this. A
- 10:07Speaker 2: frosted cranberry splash with Sprite. I'm not that crazy about Sprite. Cranberries,
- 10:16Speaker 2: I guess, are healthy. Frosted cranberries? What the hell is that?
- 10:20Speaker 2: It'll include a mix of orange and cranberry flavors, cold foam,
- 10:25Speaker 2: and red sprinkles. Does that sound good to anybody? I
- 10:29Speaker 2: don't think so. Then you can get the Red Bull
- 10:32Speaker 2: Cranberry Energizer, a high-caffeine sip for packed holiday schedules and
- 10:39Speaker 2: festive adventures. You see, this came out of the McDonald's
- 10:43Speaker 2: test kitchens. You know, they got these labs at McDonald's.
- 10:47Speaker 2: research and development. They come up with new stuff. Do
- 10:49Speaker 2: you know that everything they've ever come up with was
- 10:51Speaker 2: a disaster? The actual guys in the McDonald's research development lab,
- 10:56Speaker 2: every single thing they've ever come up with bombed, like
- 10:59Speaker 2: the McLean and all the things that worked. The Filet-O-Fish,
- 11:06Speaker 2: the Big Mac, those were invented by individual franchises who
- 11:11Speaker 2: put them on the menu and then McDonald's went nuts
- 11:13Speaker 2: saying you can't make up your own things. Well, it
- 11:15Speaker 2: turned out they were big sellers of The company took
- 11:18Speaker 2: them for everyone. So this is probably the research and
- 11:21Speaker 2: development guys. They also came up with cookie butter drinks.
- 11:26Speaker 2: What the hell is a cookie butter drink? Which cover
- 11:29Speaker 2: both hot and cold coffee options with sugary flavor profiled,
- 11:35Speaker 2: topped with caramel cookie crumbs and sweet vanilla whipped cream.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Does this sound good to anybody? Sounds horrible. President Trump...
- 11:46Speaker 2: really going after obama now obama made those cheesecake factory
- 11:51Speaker 2: claims he's going after for that but he also started
- 11:55Speaker 2: making fun of you know obama making fun of trump's
- 11:57Speaker 2: decorating skill which is a joke because obama just built
- 12:02Speaker 2: the single ugliest building ever seen but trump going after
- 12:05Speaker 2: obama's eating habits you know one thing about trump american
- 12:09Speaker 2: can relate to a guy do you know what trump
- 12:11Speaker 2: has when he goes to mcdonald's you know what his
- 12:13Speaker 2: standard order is I mean, I admire this. I could
- 12:17Speaker 2: never do it. His standard order is two Big Macs,
- 12:20Speaker 2: two Filet-O-Fishes, and a large chocolate milkshake. That's almost 3,000 calories.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I would love to have that every time, but I
- 12:30Speaker 2: could never do it. I like the Big Mac. I
- 12:32Speaker 2: could have that. I could have a Filet-O-Fish. I can't
- 12:35Speaker 2: have both, and I can't have two of both, but
- 12:38Speaker 2: he does it. And he said, he's not wrong about this,
- 12:41Speaker 2: Obama orders a piece of lettuce, and it has to
- 12:44Speaker 2: be a perfect piece of lettuce. and he cuts up
- 12:47Speaker 2: the lettuce and eats it slowly. It's kind of true.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Remember when Obama was in the white house and they
- 12:52Speaker 2: found out at night, his dessert after dinner, he would
- 12:55Speaker 2: watch TV. His dessert was seven almonds, not five, not six,
- 13:01Speaker 2: not eight. That was his thing every night. Seven almonds.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Now I like almonds, but like you, you know, I
- 13:07Speaker 2: rip open the bag and have 30 of them. Seven almonds. Uh,
- 13:11Speaker 2: what else? Joe Scarborough really going after Elon Musk. Uh, Now,
- 13:17Speaker 2: Musk was attacking, you know, Musk has been donating hundreds
- 13:21Speaker 2: of millions to the midterm election to Republican candidates. I
- 13:26Speaker 2: think he's up to 500 million all over the last
- 13:28Speaker 2: year or two he's been donating. So when they come
- 13:31Speaker 2: after him, he points out the Democrats have 30 guys
- 13:35Speaker 2: doing that, especially George Soros. He's given a billion dollars.
- 13:39Speaker 2: George Soros, a Scarborough is going after Musk saying it's
- 13:42Speaker 2: obviously anti-Semitic. Why else would he go after Soros? Because
- 13:48Speaker 2: it's Soros. It's a guy who's tried to bring down countries.
- 13:51Speaker 2: He's destroyed currencies. Soros is a convicted felon. There's a
- 13:56Speaker 2: lot wrong with Soros. He is financing riots. He's financing Antifa,
- 14:03Speaker 2: all that stuff. I know he runs it through three
- 14:05Speaker 2: other funds to launder it. But he's also spent a
- 14:09Speaker 2: fortune getting the world's worst DAs elected, like Alvin Bragg,
- 14:13Speaker 2: those types that let all the criminals lose So that's
- 14:16Speaker 2: why you go after Soros. It has nothing to do
- 14:18Speaker 2: with anti-Semitism. In fact, Soros has quite a history, especially
- 14:24Speaker 2: as a young guy, of anti-Semitic activities. Hey, we'll take
- 14:29Speaker 2: some calls next. 800-321-0710 is the number. Hey, if you're
- 14:35Speaker 2: a new caller, we always love hearing from new callers.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Wherever you are in the country, give us a call.
- 14:40Speaker 3: 800-321-0710.
- 14:40Speaker 2: 0710.
- 14:44Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Mark Simone?
- 14:48Speaker 4: Three.
- 14:48Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show. Now nine till noon weekdays.
- 14:54Speaker 5: 710WOR.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Ron in Smithtown,
- 15:00Speaker 2: Long Island. Ron, how you doing?
- 15:02Speaker 6: Yeah, hi, Mark. This is for the two and a
- 15:07Speaker 6: half million senior drivers in New York State, both Republicans
- 15:10Speaker 6: and Democrats. Did you know that Governor Hochul, if re-elected,
- 15:14Speaker 6: plans to make all senior drivers as young as 65
- 15:18Speaker 6: be retested every three years, and those over 85 every year,
- 15:23Speaker 6: even if they have perfect driving records?
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I don't know if that's a bad idea.
- 15:30Speaker 6: This has been in the works for a year already,
- 15:31Speaker 6: but they delayed starting it until after the election.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if she's really going to do
- 15:35Speaker 2: that or she'll ever get that passed.
- 15:37Speaker 6: Florida's doing it.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Florida, they should do it. You ever drive
- 15:40Speaker 2: in Florida?
- 15:41Speaker 6: Yes, I had a house there.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Now, you live in Long Island. She's going to do
- 15:47Speaker 2: the congestion pricing everywhere. You'll have it on Northern Boulevard.
- 15:50Speaker 2: You'll have it everywhere. You'll have it on Jericho Turnpike.
- 15:53Speaker 2: You're going to have it everywhere. It's going to be everywhere.
- 15:58Speaker 2: So a lot of reasons to vote against Kathy Hochul.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Do it today. Do the early voting. Go out and
- 16:03Speaker 2: vote against her. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave,
- 16:07Speaker 2: how are you doing?
- 16:08Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark. I'm doing very well, thank you.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Mark, in the nostalgia department, I remember back in the
- 16:14Speaker 3: day the hot Christmas toys, such as Cabbage Patch Dolls,
- 16:18Speaker 3: Rubik's Cube, Care Bear, Furby, Beanie Babies. My question is,
- 16:25Speaker 3: in some cases, fights would break out in stores because
- 16:28Speaker 3: there wasn't enough.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Has this craze stopped?
- 16:32Speaker 2: Well, yeah. Now, you know, you order online. In the
- 16:35Speaker 2: old days, it was a mom-and-pop store. They didn't stock enough.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Now you order it online. Of course, Amazon has plenty
- 16:40Speaker 2: of it. Rubik's Cube. I always had one of those.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I could never do it. I could never get anywhere
- 16:46Speaker 2: with it. I mean, anybody can actually finish a Rubik's Cube.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Something is wrong with you. You know what? Just go
- 16:51Speaker 2: be on Jeopardy. Stop bothering people. But it looks good.
- 16:54Speaker 2: It's a nice little decorating thing, a Rubik's Cube somewhere.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Let's go to Barbie in New York. Barbie, how you doing?
- 17:02Speaker 5: Hi, Mark.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Mark, why do you always say Obama is a good speaker?
- 17:09Speaker 2: Oh, he's a great speaker.
- 17:12Speaker 4: He sounds like a babbling idiot.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I hate to break it to you. He's quite an orator.
- 17:17Speaker 2: He's pretty good at it. I mean, everything he's saying
- 17:19Speaker 2: might be a lie or crazy, but powerful orator. That's
- 17:22Speaker 2: how he got elected president. This guy never had a
- 17:25Speaker 2: job in his life, and he's president of the United States. Oh,
- 17:28Speaker 2: he was a senator, but only for 143 days did
- 17:30Speaker 2: he actually serve in the Senate. The guy went from
- 17:33Speaker 2: nowhere to president just by being a great speaker. Let's
- 17:36Speaker 2: go to Sharon in New Jersey. Sharon, how you doing?
- 17:42Speaker 5: Hi, good morning, Mark. Thanks for taking my call. And
- 17:44Speaker 5: I am a big fan of yours, and I think
- 17:46Speaker 5: you're the best one on WOR. But my question is, yesterday,
- 17:49Speaker 5: Mikey Sherrill came out and said, it's fine for non-citizens
- 17:53Speaker 5: to vote in New Jersey. Don't you have to be
- 17:55Speaker 5: a citizen? And with all the scandal going on about
- 17:58Speaker 5: people who shouldn't be voting, which I know there always are,
- 18:01Speaker 5: I don't know. Can you see do that?
- 18:04Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's New Jersey. What the hell is wrong
- 18:06Speaker 2: with you people? You keep electing these crazy governors in
- 18:09Speaker 2: New Jersey. Why do you keep doing that?
- 18:10Speaker 5: I don't keep electing them.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I don't mean you personally, but in New Jersey, look
- 18:14Speaker 2: at the governors you've had. Not just the Democrats. Some
- 18:17Speaker 2: of the Republican governors, they're all ridiculous choices, these Democrats.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Mikey Sherrill?
- 18:24Speaker 4: I agree.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Who was the governor before that? I'm blanking out. Who
- 18:27Speaker 2: was governor before Mikey Sherrill?
- 18:29Speaker 5: Oh, before that? Oh, he was horrible. That one from
- 18:31Speaker 5: Goldman Sachs.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Oh, God, yeah. Remember the Goldman Sachs with the beard?
- 18:35Speaker 2: Didn't he get indicted for something?
- 18:37Speaker 5: Oh, that was Corzine. He was a while ago, but
- 18:39Speaker 5: this was the last time. I think he was such
- 18:41Speaker 5: a bad memory, and now I have to bring my
- 18:44Speaker 5: own bags to the shop, right? Because he took them away. Oh,
- 18:48Speaker 5: my gosh. I forgot his name. And I just think
- 18:51Speaker 5: I'm blanking out because I'm glad he's.
- 18:52Speaker 7: Not governor anymore.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Well, they're like nightmares, these governors. You have to forget them. Corzine,
- 18:56Speaker 2: I don't think he got indicted, but there was some
- 18:58Speaker 2: kind of scandal where it was the Obama administration that
- 19:01Speaker 2: had to make it go away. Let's go to Ernie
- 19:04Speaker 2: in Morristown. Ernie, how you doing?
- 19:08Speaker 7: Good, good.
- 19:09Speaker 8: Mark, you know, during the course of business, I drive
- 19:12Speaker 8: a lot in the Huntington area. And these campaign signs,
- 19:15Speaker 8: what I never see is, am I a Republican or
- 19:19Speaker 8: a Democrat?
- 19:21Speaker 4: What's up with that?
- 19:21Speaker 8: Don't you think that you'd want to know who is
- 19:24Speaker 8: represented by who?
- 19:25Speaker 4: You know, it's kind of odd.
- 19:27Speaker 2: You mean they just put the name, they don't put
- 19:28Speaker 2: the party?
- 19:30Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 19:31Speaker 2: You know, all of the signs.
- 19:32Speaker 4: I'm out in Ashroken right now. Nobody's got it. They
- 19:35Speaker 4: have their name, but.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Are they a Republican?
- 19:37Speaker 4: Are they a Democrat? It's pretty deliberate.
- 19:39Speaker 7: It's just I find it amazing.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I know what you're saying, but who cares? It's
- 19:43Speaker 2: these lawn signs. Stop with the lawn signs. Nobody's going
- 19:45Speaker 2: to change their vote because you've got.
- 19:48Speaker 4: A lawn sign.
- 19:49Speaker 2: You're driving along. and you see a lawn sign.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Hochul.
- 19:51Speaker 2: You're not going to go, oh, wow, I guess I'm wrong. Okay, Hochul.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Who the hell's listening to a lawn sign? And as
- 19:58Speaker 2: soon as you put your lawn sign down on the curb,
- 20:01Speaker 2: on the corner, there's 37 other signs all around it.
- 20:04Speaker 2: And next thing you know, just stop with the lawn signs.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how are you doing?
- 20:11Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark. Mark, I'm okay. You were speaking about
- 20:14Speaker 7: John Corzine, who mysteriously couldn't account for $ 50 billion in investors' funds.
- 20:24Speaker 7: He went before Congress. They had held congressional hearings. And
- 20:28Speaker 7: he did a Joe Biden. Oh, I don't know where
- 20:31Speaker 7: the money went. If that was anybody else, you'd be
- 20:35Speaker 7: doing brain-made all the time, rotting in jail.
- 20:37Speaker 2: When you had money at Goldman Sachs, somehow it got
- 20:39Speaker 2: taken out of your account. I mean, it was not right,
- 20:42Speaker 2: whatever happened in He was responsible as chairman at the time.
- 20:45Speaker 7: $ 50 billion it was. Mark, this cop who killed the
- 20:51Speaker 7: guy on the George Washington Bridge... If he, depending on
- 20:56Speaker 7: which side of the bridge, because there's a dividing line
- 20:59Speaker 7: right down the middle that says New York or New Jersey,
- 21:02Speaker 7: he better hope that it was on the Jersey side
- 21:05Speaker 7: because or the feds charge him with civil rights violations.
- 21:10Speaker 7: Because let me tell you right now, and this is
- 21:13Speaker 7: why this guy should plead out. If he goes to
- 21:16Speaker 7: state prison in New York, I would put a cow
- 21:20Speaker 7: sheet bet that he doesn't last six months. Or they're
- 21:24Speaker 7: going to have to keep him in solitary confinement for
- 21:29Speaker 7: 23 hours a day. And this is why I said that.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Yeah, but he's an ex-cop. You think maybe the correctional
- 21:35Speaker 2: officers as an ex-cop might try to take care of him?
- 21:38Speaker 2: protect him uh.
- 21:40Speaker 7: No what's gonna happen is is some life uh since
- 21:44Speaker 7: we don't have the debt penalty in new york some
- 21:47Speaker 7: life uh he'll stick a shiv in his liver in
- 21:50Speaker 7: the showers and that that'll be done because people like him.
- 21:58Speaker 2: It's getting close to lunchtime i know you're not wrong
- 22:01Speaker 2: but uh.
- 22:03Speaker 7: Mark, people like him are the dirty cops, and that
- 22:07Speaker 7: you killed a brother? Forget about it. I'd put my
- 22:12Speaker 7: money six months the guy lasts, if even that.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Or if he.
- 22:17Speaker 7: Goes to federal prison, Mark. He could cut a deal
- 22:20Speaker 7: like that creep, what was his, the Gilgo Beach killer.
- 22:25Speaker 7: He could cut a deal. He could say, send me here.
- 22:28Speaker 7: The food is better.
- 22:29Speaker 2: All right, that's all. That's good advice, Vincent. You're absolutely right. Listen,
- 22:33Speaker 2: this guy is just a nightmare monster. He shot a wonderful,
- 22:36Speaker 2: innocent man for absolutely no reason at all. So no
- 22:40Speaker 2: sympathy for that guy. Hey, when we come back, we'll
- 22:42Speaker 2: talk to Howie Carr next on 710WOR.
- 22:47Speaker 1: News breaks out in every show. Mark Simone on 710WOR.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Well, Howie Carr, one of the very best talk show
- 22:57Speaker 2: hosts in America. Also, you can hear him on iHeart.
- 23:00Speaker 2: You can get his show, his podcast. Just go to iHeart.
- 23:03Speaker 2: He's a best-selling author, great books. The latest is Mass
- 23:07Speaker 2: Corruption Vol. 2. You can get his column, the books,
- 23:11Speaker 2: the show. Everything's at HowieCarrShow.com. HowieCarrShow.com. Howie Carr, how are
- 23:18Speaker 2: you doing?
- 23:20Speaker 4: Very good. Very good. I'm enjoying this Alaska situation. It's
- 23:25Speaker 4: pretty funny. We have a long track record of this
- 23:30Speaker 4: stuff in Massachusetts, as you probably know. We had a
- 23:34Speaker 4: president named John F.
- 23:36Speaker 7: Kennedy.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 4: You've heard of the guy, right? Yeah. When he was senator,
- 23:42Speaker 4: this guy, he worked in the stock room at the
- 23:45Speaker 4: Gillette Razor factory in South Boston. He said, you know,
- 23:48Speaker 4: I could win statewide office because my name is John F.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Kennedy. And he did.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Three times. Never spent a dime. Just got elected time
- 23:59Speaker 4: after time because his name was John F.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Kennedy.
- 24:01Speaker 4: He was finally term limited out in 1960. And he said, hey,
- 24:06Speaker 4: I got elected treasurer statewide. I'll get elected governor.
- 24:09Speaker 2: But.
- 24:09Speaker 4: That was the same year JFK, the other JFK, was
- 24:13Speaker 4: running for president. And he lost. So I think the
- 24:15Speaker 4: lesson here, Mark, is you can pull this kind of
- 24:19Speaker 4: stuff off with these candidates at lower-level offices, even if
- 24:23Speaker 4: it's a statewide office, but you can't go beyond a
- 24:27Speaker 4: certain level. And I think that was Mary Popo's offense.
- 24:32Speaker 4: You know, that was her problem. She went a little
- 24:34Speaker 4: too high. It wasn't going to work ever.
- 24:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Well, she found another guy named Dan Sullivan. Now, if
- 24:41Speaker 2: Republicans wanted to try this, how did they find a
- 24:43Speaker 2: guy named Muhammad Abdul El-Sayed? That's not that easy to
- 24:47Speaker 2: find another one with that name.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Well, you know, you can change your name. People have
- 24:52Speaker 4: been known to do that, too. You know, that's another
- 24:55Speaker 4: thing in Boston. There were a lot of Irish guys
- 24:58Speaker 4: named Foley. And this guy, I think his name was
- 25:01Speaker 4: William Entraversoda. He was an Italian guy. This was in
- 25:05Speaker 4: the 50s. So he said, all these Foley guys are
- 25:07Speaker 4: getting elected. So he changed his name to William Entraversoda Foley.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Didn't work. Again, didn't work. Just made him a laughingstock. But,
- 25:16Speaker 4: you know, they gave it a shot. But I don't
- 25:19Speaker 4: think it's a crime.
- 25:20Speaker 2: But, you know.
- 25:22Speaker 4: You know, the thing is, did you see that the
- 25:25Speaker 4: Democrat candidate, they've got a tape of her a few
- 25:28Speaker 4: months back saying, politicians who lie should be put in jail.
- 25:33Speaker 4: I don't think that's aged very well for her, considering
- 25:37Speaker 4: how many lies she's told about this guy.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Although Alan Dershowitz looked at all this. He said it's
- 25:42Speaker 2: definitely fraud. You could prosecute somebody for this. It's out-and-out
- 25:46Speaker 2: fraud on the voters.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Yeah, but where's the statute that says you can't commit
- 25:52Speaker 4: fraud on the voters? I hate to go against Alan Dershowitz,
- 25:59Speaker 4: Professor Dershowitz, but I don't know.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I think it's pretty hard.
- 26:03Speaker 4: To prosecute that one.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of Kennedy, you wrote the best books on JFK.
- 26:10Speaker 2: You've written the best books on the Kennedy family. There
- 26:12Speaker 2: was talk about the bringing back the White House swimming pool.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Trump said absolutely not because he doesn't swim. The last
- 26:19Speaker 2: president who really used that pool was JFK. Tell everybody
- 26:23Speaker 2: what JFK used that pool for.
- 26:25Speaker 4: He had these two young women. They called them Fiddle
- 26:31Speaker 4: and Faddle. They were secretaries. And so Joe Kennedy, his father,
- 26:36Speaker 4: gave him a present as he was inaugurated. They built
- 26:40Speaker 4: the pool at the White House. and he would go
- 26:42Speaker 4: down there with fiddle and faddle and they would, they
- 26:46Speaker 4: would swim mood during the, uh, during the lunch break. And, uh,
- 26:51Speaker 4: and that's what they, and he brought down, he had a,
- 26:53Speaker 4: he had one of his aides, this old time guy
- 26:55Speaker 4: from Charlestown, uh, Boston. And, uh, he, he, he had,
- 26:59Speaker 4: he instructed fiddle to get her a paddle to give,
- 27:02Speaker 4: give him a, uh, a, a, a Lewinsky shall we
- 27:06Speaker 4: say at the pool. I have a picture in Kennedy
- 27:09Speaker 4: Babylon of, uh, of Caroline Kennedy, uh, posing with this guy.
- 27:14Speaker 4: I think his name was Dave powers.
- 27:15Speaker 7: I forget.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Dave powers.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Yeah, they were, they were, I say they were remembering
- 27:20Speaker 4: the good old days of fiddle and paddle down by
- 27:22Speaker 4: down at the pool. And, uh, yeah, they, they actually, uh,
- 27:27Speaker 4: I mean, I got lots of pictures of fiddle and
- 27:28Speaker 4: paddle and Kennedy and Kennedy Babylon. I think it's volume one.
- 27:32Speaker 4: I put him at, I got two volumes, but it's
- 27:34Speaker 4: in volume. I think it's at volume one. Yeah, they
- 27:38Speaker 4: actually did a story in the Hearst Sunday publication at
- 27:43Speaker 4: the time about Fiddle and Faddle and some of the
- 27:47Speaker 4: White House beauties are working on the staff for JFK. Yeah,
- 27:52Speaker 4: they're working all right. They're working. Yes, indeed they are.
- 27:55Speaker 4: And then you know what happened to the pool, right?
- 27:58Speaker 4: When Nixon got in, he knew what was going on
- 28:01Speaker 4: in that pool. Andrew Hoover told him. He made it
- 28:05Speaker 4: into a bowling alley.
- 28:08Speaker 2: So Donald Trump has an assistant named Natalie Harp who
- 28:12Speaker 2: works her tail off, you know.
- 28:15Speaker 7: Right.
- 28:15Speaker 4: She's always sending stuff. I'm sure you're getting the text
- 28:17Speaker 4: just like I am. She's always sending out texts. Check
- 28:20Speaker 4: out President Trump's Truth Social. That's what she does. That's
- 28:24Speaker 4: her job.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but why is she? Why is Natalie Harp always around?
- 28:28Speaker 2: So how come there was no fiddle-faddle coverage by the media?
- 28:31Speaker 2: How come they didn't do that story?
- 28:34Speaker 4: There was fiddle. I told you. They got a nice
- 28:36Speaker 4: puff piece there. Oh, apparently one of them was on
- 28:41Speaker 4: the plane to Dallas and had to go back on
- 28:44Speaker 4: the plane with the body and Jackie Kennedy. I mean,
- 28:48Speaker 4: these are the stories you never heard until decades and
- 28:52Speaker 4: decades later.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:55Speaker 2: But between this fiddle and faddle and Judith Exner and
- 28:58Speaker 2: Marilyn Monroe, if you ask those old time reporters, they'd say, well,
- 29:01Speaker 2: it was a different era. Is it just simply because
- 29:03Speaker 2: he was a Democrat? Had that been Nixon, they would
- 29:05Speaker 2: have exposed that in a second, wouldn't they?
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I think it was. JFK was married before
- 29:13Speaker 4: Jacqueline Kennedy. He got married in Palm Beach. And JFK,
- 29:18Speaker 4: Joe Kennedy, his father, went in and had all the
- 29:21Speaker 4: documents lifted out of town hall in Palm Beach. And
- 29:26Speaker 4: then JFK, the woman lived in Palm Beach, his first
- 29:32Speaker 4: marriage to a divorced Protestant woman. And she lived in
- 29:35Speaker 4: Palm Beach. And one day at the Everglades Club, he
- 29:38Speaker 4: and Ben Bradley, then soon to be, you know, Nixon
- 29:42Speaker 4: exposure and Watergate, they were playing golf at the Everglades
- 29:48Speaker 4: Club in Palm Beach, right in the middle of town.
- 29:52Speaker 4: And he, JFK, President Kennedy introduced Ben Bradley to his
- 29:57Speaker 4: first wife. Didn't say it was his first wife, obviously,
- 30:01Speaker 4: but he introduced her. I mean, Ben Bradley put that
- 30:05Speaker 4: in his memoirs.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Wow.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Well, if you want more of this.
- 30:08Speaker 4: That's how old they were.
- 30:11Speaker 2: If you want more of this, get Howie Carr's books, Kennedy, Babylon,
- 30:14Speaker 2: Volume 1, Volume 2. Amazing stuff in there.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't know if it's back on Amazon yet,
- 30:20Speaker 4: but it soon will be. They're just, they're toying with me, Mark,
- 30:24Speaker 4: but it'll, it'll Kennedy Babylon volumes one and two. You
- 30:27Speaker 4: can actually, you can buy it at how we car show.com.
- 30:29Speaker 4: I've still got it in stock. How we car show.com.
- 30:32Speaker 2: It's got a million of these stories. Go get the book.
- 30:35Speaker 2: How we car show.com. Uh, what's going to happen in Maine,
- 30:38Speaker 2: Susan Collins. She'll win that race. Won't she?
- 30:42Speaker 4: I think so. You know, uh, six years ago, uh,
- 30:44Speaker 4: she was running against a, uh, you know, a Democrat
- 30:47Speaker 4: out of central casting, but, she could speak in complete
- 30:50Speaker 4: sentences and that wasn't a complete boop and she wasn't
- 30:53Speaker 4: married to her cousin. And then, you know, she was,
- 30:55Speaker 4: she was ahead in the polls by like seven, seven
- 30:58Speaker 4: points at the end. And Collins ended up winning by nine.
- 31:02Speaker 4: I gotta, I gotta think, you know, this is going
- 31:05Speaker 4: to be the same kind of situation. Did you see
- 31:07Speaker 4: Platner yesterday? The New York Post caught him and took
- 31:12Speaker 4: pictures of him, and he's going, you people from away
- 31:16Speaker 4: don't understand what it's like for us people down east. Again,
- 31:21Speaker 4: this guy went the hotchkiss. That makes St. Paul's, where
- 31:25Speaker 4: John Kerry went, look like a technical high school.
- 31:29Speaker 2: In the Bronx. Hey, Obama, speaking of elitists, Obama doesn't
- 31:36Speaker 2: seem to realize what Cheesecake Factory means to most Americans.
- 31:39Speaker 4: I know. I know it's easy. And then, you know,
- 31:43Speaker 4: but he obviously, someone told him that he really stepped
- 31:47Speaker 4: on it, stepped in it. Because I guess last night
- 31:49Speaker 4: in Georgia, he was just going on and on. That's
- 31:52Speaker 4: all Scott Bess and Scott to do is to do,
- 31:55Speaker 4: he's not worried about affordability and the price of gas.
- 31:58Speaker 4: He's doing a press conference outside the Cheesecake Factory. You know, Mark,
- 32:03Speaker 4: me thinks Obama doth protest too much, right?
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, Howie Carr, great as always. Hey, everybody listen
- 32:11Speaker 2: to his show or his podcast. You go to iHeart,
- 32:13Speaker 2: you can get it there. You can get his books,
- 32:15Speaker 2: the show, you can get everything at HowieCarrShow.com. Get his

- 32:25Speaker 2: Howie Carr, thanks for being with us.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Thanks a lot, Mark. I appreciate it.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Bye-bye. Take care. Hey, don't forget at noon, you're going
- 32:33Speaker 2: to get Buck Sexton and Clay Travis. You'll have two
- 32:35Speaker 2: hosts for The Price of One. It's a great show.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Three o'clock, you got the most listened to radio show
- 32:41Speaker 2: in America, Sean Hannity. You got Jesse Kelly at six.
- 32:44Speaker 2: You got the very funny Jimmy Fallon, nine to midnight.
- 32:48Speaker 2: And now I'm here three hours every day, 9 a.m.
- 32:52Speaker 2: till noon, nine to noon every day. And then in
- 32:55Speaker 2: the morning, just before me, six to nine, you got
- 32:58Speaker 2: Curtis Lewa, Larry Menti here on 710. W.O.R.
- 33:03Speaker 1: What's better than two hours of Mark Simone?
- 33:06Speaker 2: Three.
- 33:07Speaker 1: The Mark Simone Show. Now nine till noon weekday. Seven
- 33:12Speaker 1: ten W.O.R.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Hey, Elon Omar marrying her brother. The investigation into that,
- 33:19Speaker 2: as you heard, you remember you heard it started under
- 33:21Speaker 2: the Biden administration. Actually, new evidence has come out. It's
- 33:25Speaker 2: been confirmed. The investigation into Elon Omar started. during the
- 33:31Speaker 2: Obama administration. It started in the Obama administration as evidence
- 33:36Speaker 2: was seen. Well, now it turns out a U.S. attorney
- 33:40Speaker 2: in Minnesota appointed by Biden shut it down, shut down
- 33:44Speaker 2: the probe in 2021. So this probe was underway under
- 33:49Speaker 2: Obama and Biden. We'll Have more on that for you
- 33:53Speaker 2: tomorrow because we're out of time right now. Going to
- 33:55Speaker 2: be a really nice day, bright sunshine, mid-60s. I'll be
- 34:00Speaker 2: back tomorrow, 9 to noon, and I'll talk to you
- 34:04Speaker 2: then right here on 710WOR.
