Speaker 1: What's up, everybody. Welcome to the first edition of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Stardom CIDEM Show for a brand news season, presented by
• 0:07
Speaker 1: Mythical Games. I am Marcus Grant. He is Adam Rank.
• 0:10
Speaker 1: Normally Michael F. Florio is hanging out with us, but
• 0:12
Speaker 1: he is off. I don't know, he's in parts unknown.
• 0:17
  Speaker 2: That seems weird.
• 0:18
  Speaker 1: It does.
• 0:18
Speaker 3: See, we're gonna sit here and talk about another man's list,
• 0:21
Speaker 3: like I don't have the capability of making my own list.
• 0:24
Speaker 1: I don't know. Would you like to write Stardom sit
• 0:26
Speaker 1: them again this year? No?
• 0:26
Speaker 3: No, no, I do the flex rankings now, okay, because my
• 0:29
  Speaker 3: last name's rank.
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: That makes sense.
• 0:31
  Speaker 2: It lends itself.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: It really does work out well. But we are gonna
• 0:34
Speaker 1: talk about Michael F. Florio's Stardom Sitdem list. You can
• 0:37
Speaker 1: go check that out of course at NFL dot com
• 0:39
Speaker 1: Slash Start sit We got plenty to talk about. We'll
• 0:42
Speaker 1: talk about it obviously, the starts and sits, trending players, sleepers,
• 0:45
Speaker 1: and the players that will get you into Club dub
• 0:47
Speaker 1: they will score twenty five or more points this week.
• 0:50
Speaker 1: So let's get started by looking at Florio's top quarterbacks
• 0:55
Speaker 1: for the list. The guys he says you should start,
• 0:57
Speaker 1: and the guys he says you should sit. So his
• 0:59
Speaker 1: stardom's to a tongue of Iloa Gino Smith, Anthony Richardson.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: I have all three of those guys across the multiple rosters. Yeah,
• 1:06
Speaker 1: this season, the Sidham guys, the Shawn Watson, Daniel Jones,
• 1:10
Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers, which seems like a little bit of shade.
• 1:13
Speaker 1: Why doesn't he like.
• 1:13
Speaker 2: Danny Jones like that isn't his team the Giants?
• 1:16
Speaker 1: No, he's a Bills fan, other New York team and
• 1:19
Speaker 1: Canny Pickett going against the forty nine ers. Let's talk
• 1:23
Speaker 1: about Anthony Richardson because I know rank everybody's worried about
• 1:26
Speaker 1: him as a passer, but the fact that he runs
• 1:28
Speaker 1: the football means you should be okay this.
• 1:30
Speaker 3: I mean, it's exactly what happened last season with Justin Fields.
• 1:34
Speaker 3: And I think that the Indianapolis Colts would probably like
• 1:37
Speaker 3: to follow the same model where your quarterback develops and
• 1:40
Speaker 3: you feel like you have your quarterback of the future,
• 1:42
Speaker 3: and yet you lose every game and end up with
• 1:44
Speaker 3: the number one overall pick, which they wouldn't use on
• 1:46
Speaker 3: Caleb Williams because if Anthony Richardson's playing well, but you
• 1:49
Speaker 3: could flip it to a team like the Rams, who
• 1:52
Speaker 3: might need a quarterback. But I think that what we're
• 1:54
Speaker 3: going to see and what we're starting to see out
• 1:55
Speaker 3: of NFL teams now is a mindset of tailoring your
• 2:01
Speaker 3: system to the quarterback strengths. And I think a lot
• 2:04
Speaker 3: of time, back in the olden days, you would be
• 2:06
Speaker 3: you would get it, you draft a player, and he'd.
• 2:08
Speaker 2: Be like, you gotta throw it this way and you
• 2:09
Speaker 2: gotta do this. Now they just let them go out
• 2:11
Speaker 2: there and do their thing.
• 2:12
Speaker 3: And I think the Colts will play to his strength,
• 2:13
Speaker 3: which will be great for fantasy, might not help the
• 2:15
Speaker 3: Colts win many games.
• 2:16
Speaker 1: What a novel idea of building around the crazy your
• 2:19
Speaker 1: franchise player. I worry a little bit about him in
• 2:23
Speaker 1: Week one. I have other options that I'm sort of
• 2:24
Speaker 1: hedging my bets with, but I'm interested to watch Anthony
• 2:28
Speaker 1: Richardson play this week against the Jaguars.
• 2:30
Speaker 3: Now he's got Aaron Rodgers, but it's not like the
• 2:32
Speaker 3: Jags defense is that good where you're like, I gotta
• 2:34
Speaker 3: I gotta avoid the Jags.
• 2:36
Speaker 1: They weren't I mean in fantasy, they were like a
• 2:38
Speaker 1: top five or six defense. I mean in real life, yeah,
• 2:41
Speaker 1: they weren't very good, but in fantasy they worked out well.
• 2:44
Speaker 2: I think you're fine if you have for whatever that works.
• 2:46
Speaker 1: On the other side, Aaron Rodgers as they sit for Florio,
• 2:49
Speaker 1: I see you scoffing already.
• 2:51
Speaker 3: Well, now it makes sense. Okay if you say, if
• 2:53
Speaker 3: he's a Bills fans playing the bad.
• 2:55
Speaker 1: Which it feels personal, is what that feels like.
• 2:58
Speaker 3: Yeah, Sean McDermott is now taking over the defense for
• 3:01
Speaker 3: the Buffalo Bills, who've actually lost some players, including Tremaine Edmonds.
• 3:05
Speaker 3: I'm curious to see how that works out. I think
• 3:07
Speaker 3: a lot of times that once these teams get into
• 3:09
Speaker 3: the Super Bowl window, they just get kissed into it,
• 3:12
Speaker 3: like oh yeah, Like there are I have some questions.
• 3:15
Speaker 3: I don't know how it's gonna work for the head
• 3:17
Speaker 3: coach also running the defense. It also filters down to
• 3:21
Speaker 3: Ken Dorsey being left to his own devices. I'm curious,
• 3:24
Speaker 3: but there's no way that I'm sitting Aaron Rodgers.
• 3:26
Speaker 1: I am not sitting Aaron Rodgers this week. I think
• 3:29
Speaker 1: there will be ups and downs throughout the season, but
• 3:31
Speaker 1: Week one doesn't feel like that. Week one feels like,
• 3:34
Speaker 1: I'm out here to prove a point. I'm gonna show
• 3:36
Speaker 1: everybody why why the Jets really went all in on me.
• 3:40
Speaker 1: I'm gonna feed Garrett Wilson a ton of targets. I
• 3:43
Speaker 1: think this game's gonna.
• 3:44
Speaker 2: Be reasy sitting Garrett Wilson.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: That's a good question. I would imagine not you know,
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: I would think I don't know. We'll see his wide
• 3:51
Speaker 1: receiver list in a second, But I mean on Rodgers
• 3:53
Speaker 1: this week. Maybe the other weeks maybe not so much,
• 3:55
Speaker 1: but this week, for.
• 3:56
Speaker 2: Sure, I'm good with him. Yeah, all right, Which.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: I appreciate this growth from you, you know, being willing
• 4:00
Speaker 1: to that's praise Aaron Rodgers.
• 4:02
  Speaker 2: No, but he's like, I mean, he's a good player.
• 4:04
  Speaker 3: I've actually I played him a couple I had one
• 4:06
Speaker 3: season where I actually had him as a backup, but
• 4:09
Speaker 3: I had him on my team and one of one
• 4:10
Speaker 3: of his his MVP years the first year they drafted
• 4:12
Speaker 3: Jordan Love Okay, and it was the same thing that
• 4:15
Speaker 3: everybody's like, you're crazy, like Aaron Rodgers has washed. They
• 4:17
Speaker 3: drafted this guy from Utah.
• 4:18
Speaker 2: Stay, You're like, yeah, he's super petty, he's.
• 4:21
Speaker 3: Gonna play better than ever, which is exactly what's gonna
• 4:24
Speaker 3: happen in New York.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: He's super petty, that is without a doubt. Let's take
• 4:27
Speaker 1: a look at Florio's wide receiver list here. No, no,
• 4:31
Speaker 1: Garrett Wilson. I'm assuming Garrett Wilson falls into the start
• 4:33
Speaker 1: category for him. Chris olavea start Johan Dotson or Johann Dotson.
• 4:38
Speaker 1: I guess as we're calling him nowadays.
• 4:40
Speaker 2: That's how you say Johann.
• 4:42
Speaker 1: That's how that's Joan has an O in it?
• 4:45
  Speaker 2: Is it?
• 4:45
Speaker 3: How do you say case ada? Exactly, that's the way
• 4:49
  Speaker 3: it's pronounced.
• 4:50
Speaker 1: It's yo yo Johan, Johan Dotson, Drake London and the
• 4:56
Speaker 1: combination of Mike Evans and or Chris Godwin. They are
• 4:59
Speaker 1: start against the Vikings on the other side, gave Davis
• 5:02
Speaker 1: as they sit, I guess he's trying to show that
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: he's not.
• 5:05
Speaker 3: That's such a classic move of like, no, look I'm
• 5:09
Speaker 3: not I'm just sitting a guy from my team, like.
• 5:12
Speaker 1: The worst guy, Michael Pittman, Marky's Brown and Rashad Bateman
• 5:17
Speaker 1: going against the Houston Texans. So let's talk about the
• 5:20
Speaker 1: aforementioned Johann Dotson going against the Arizona Cardinals. I mean,
• 5:23
Speaker 1: we all like Terry McLaurin, we get it, he.
• 5:25
Speaker 2: Said, but there's injury concerns with him.
• 5:27
Speaker 1: He is even though he's practiced this week and I
• 5:29
Speaker 1: believe he's been cleared to play this.
• 5:31
Speaker 3: Week, he practicing full on Thursday. We're recording this before
• 5:33
Speaker 3: the practice report comes out on Friday, so we are
• 5:36
Speaker 3: assuming he's he's going to be a full goal. But
• 5:37
Speaker 3: even if he does go, how is he going to
• 5:40
Speaker 3: be limited? And if this and if and if Arizona
• 5:44
Speaker 3: is as bad as we believe they're going to be,
• 5:47
Speaker 3: then are they gonna throw?
• 5:48
Speaker 2: Is there gonna be the volume?
• 5:49
Speaker 3: And then Dotson would be the guy I think benefits
• 5:52
Speaker 3: And last year they were really targeting Dotson more than McLaurin,
• 5:55
Speaker 3: So I feel good with that.
• 5:56
Speaker 1: I like Dotson a lot. He was a guy especially
• 5:59
Speaker 1: where you were able to d yeah in like the
• 6:01
Speaker 1: you know, eighth ninth later or something like that. I
• 6:04
Speaker 1: love what what he brings, and we like we liked
• 6:07
Speaker 1: the commander's receivers last year when like Taylor Heineke was
• 6:11
Speaker 1: throwing because he was willing to take shots downfield. I
• 6:13
Speaker 1: think Sam Howell is gonna be that guy this year.
• 6:16
Speaker 1: You know, I'm dubious on whether I'm starting Howell, but
• 6:18
Speaker 1: I like what he does for the wide receivers, and
• 6:20
Speaker 1: I like your point if even if McLaurin plays, how
• 6:24
Speaker 1: much of a full go can he be? So that
• 6:26
Speaker 1: leans towards Johan Dotson getting a lot of targets. On
• 6:29
Speaker 1: the other side, we saw Michael Pittman as a sit.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: We talked about Anthony Richardson as a start, but that's
• 6:34
Speaker 1: more about Richardson as a runner and not so much
• 6:36
Speaker 1: as a passer this week.
• 6:38
Speaker 3: Because more a lot of fantasy leagues are also four
• 6:40
Speaker 3: points for a passing touchdown. So that's why we like
• 6:44
Speaker 3: Anthony Richardson. So if you're confused by that, it's we're gaining.
• 6:47
Speaker 3: We're we're counting on Anthony Richardson running for forty yards,
• 6:51
  Speaker 3: possibly running.
• 6:52
  Speaker 2: For a touchdown.
• 6:53
Speaker 3: But who are going to be his receivers? Who benefit?
• 6:55
Speaker 3: How much is he gonna throw for? What's the volume
• 6:57
Speaker 3: gonna look like? That's the reason why we pass on
• 6:59
  Speaker 3: Michael Pittman.
• 7:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, the Jaguars, I think we'll be able
• 7:02
Speaker 1: to score. I don't know that the Colts can keep
• 7:05
Speaker 1: up offensively, and I think that's gonna hurt Pittman, Alec Pierce.
• 7:09
Speaker 3: You know, go down to the first week too, and
• 7:11
Speaker 3: things are always a little bit. I mean, even last night,
• 7:14
Speaker 3: the Thursday night game was a little bit lower scoring
• 7:16
Speaker 3: than I think people had hoped.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, the board and a lot of these that feels
• 7:21
Speaker 1: sort of like the case and this could be a
• 7:23
Speaker 1: low scoring game between these teams. That gets us to
• 7:26
Speaker 1: what we're calling, how we feeling where we ripped through
• 7:28
Speaker 1: some guys that are getting talked about on social media
• 7:31
Speaker 1: and let you know if they should be in your
• 7:32
Speaker 1: lineups this week. So rank will start with Dalvin Cook
• 7:35
Speaker 1: going against the Buffalo Bills.
• 7:36
Speaker 3: Absolutely no, we're gonna avoid the Jets backfield. One of
• 7:39
Speaker 3: the problems is is they've got three guys including Bresall
• 7:43
Speaker 3: and Michael Carter. And they even said that Dalvin Cook's
• 7:46
Speaker 3: gonna take a little bit of time to get back,
• 7:48
Speaker 3: So I if I had to start when it would
• 7:51
  Speaker 3: be Bresall.
• 7:52
Speaker 2: But I think that just means that Michael Carter scores
• 7:54
  Speaker 2: a pair. Yeah.
• 7:54
Speaker 1: Robert Sallas said they're going to quote be smart with
• 7:56
Speaker 1: how they use these guys in week one, so it probably,
• 7:59
Speaker 1: you know, maybe less usage than we would have liked
• 8:02
Speaker 1: DeAndre Hopkins against the Saints. I'm telling you, I think
• 8:05
Speaker 1: he's fine to start. I think he's a wide receiver too.
• 8:08
Speaker 1: This is not a high volume passing offense. They still
• 8:11
Speaker 1: run through Derek Henry primarily. But you don't bring in
• 8:13
Speaker 1: a guy like DeAndre Hopkins and not throw him the football,
• 8:16
Speaker 1: especially with Traylon Burks being sort of banged up. You know,
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: I like you mentioned Rank, I don't think there's gonna
• 8:21
Speaker 1: be a lot of points across the NFL this weekend.
• 8:24
Speaker 1: I don't see a lot of points in this game.
• 8:25
Speaker 1: But DeAndre Hopkins is gonna get targets. I'm I'm not
• 8:28
Speaker 1: really really worried about that one. DJ Moore for the
• 8:32
Speaker 1: Bears going against the Packers, how you feeling starting him?
• 8:34
Speaker 3: I mean, you saw what he was able to do.
• 8:36
Speaker 3: His YAK yardage in the preseason was off the charts.
• 8:40
Speaker 3: He's never had a quarterback this good.
• 8:42
  Speaker 2: He's playing.
• 8:43
Speaker 3: I mean, the ghost of it was the ghost of
• 8:45
Speaker 3: Cam Newton. He wasn't playing with Pete Cam Newton. I
• 8:48
Speaker 3: love Dj Moore this season. I really it's a tough
• 8:50
Speaker 3: matchup because obviously the Packers have like what nine to
• 8:52
Speaker 3: ten first round draft picks on that defense. But because
• 8:55
Speaker 3: of plays like this, these are the reasons why you
• 8:58
Speaker 3: have DJ Moore in your life.
• 9:00
Speaker 1: Him and target volume. I mean, he's gonna get a
• 9:02
Speaker 1: lot of opportunities. I think it's him and what probably
• 9:04
Speaker 1: Darnell Mooney and then.
• 9:05
Speaker 2: Yes and then Bob Well, no, they got Bob Tanya.
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: That's right.
• 9:08
Speaker 2: They could also throw the ball to Khalil Herbert.
• 9:11
Speaker 1: So Kirk Cousins against the Buccaneers. Absolutely, yes, this game
• 9:16
Speaker 1: is gonna We talked about low scoring. This game could
• 9:18
Speaker 1: be a score fest just because both these teams are
• 9:21
Speaker 1: gonna throw the ball.
• 9:22
Speaker 2: Consider to be high scored.
• 9:23
Speaker 1: The Vikings defense is still bad. Kirk Cousins is going
• 9:27
Speaker 1: to throw the ball to Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: and t J. Hawkinson. I think a lot of points
• 9:32
Speaker 1: are coming in this game. I would start Kirk Cousins.
• 9:35
Speaker 1: If you have a quarterback that's sort of made and
• 9:36
Speaker 1: you're you're worried about I start him. Uh, the man
• 9:39
Speaker 1: that I guess we're calling Bijon Robinson.
• 9:41
Speaker 2: I saw that note.
• 9:42
Speaker 3: Come through the research packet where it's been Zon Robinson,
• 9:48
Speaker 3: which is fine, that's cool. You drafted him in the
• 9:51
Speaker 3: first round. You're not sitting him. I really do believe
• 9:53
Speaker 3: that Tyler Aljier will have a bigger role than people
• 9:55
Speaker 3: will like, similar to what David Montgomery did on Thursday evening.
• 9:59
Speaker 3: But I still think that there's no chance that you're
• 10:02
Speaker 3: sitting Robinson against the band.
• 10:03
Speaker 1: I drafted Tyler L. Jerokes. I think he still has
• 10:05
Speaker 1: a role, but it is gonna be the Robinson show
• 10:08
Speaker 1: in Atlanta. Van Jefferson against the Seattle Seahawks. I'd really
• 10:12
Speaker 1: rather not. And I say this as a guy who's
• 10:14
Speaker 1: been a self proclaimed Van stand over the last couple
• 10:16
Speaker 1: of years, but he's just not really a high target earner.
• 10:19
Speaker 1: He's a guy who has spike weeks and then will
• 10:22
Speaker 1: disappear for long stretches at a time. Tyler Higby's gonna
• 10:25
Speaker 1: get a lot of work, uh is that guy?
• 10:30
Speaker 3: Peter Scheger and I are both been on record this
• 10:33
Speaker 3: week of going in on Pookin.
• 10:35
Speaker 1: You know what. I took a lot of late round
• 10:36
Speaker 1: shots at Pukakua, so I believe that that there's something there.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: I just don't have enough confidence though in Van Jefferson
• 10:41
Speaker 1: to put new lineup. Zay Flowers, another guy though that
• 10:45
Speaker 1: I really like this week? Do you like him against
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: this place?
• 10:47
Speaker 3: Love like you guys love b role much like the
• 10:50
Speaker 3: Fantasy Life goodness great? Do you guys get paid per
• 10:53
Speaker 3: the b roll Zay.
• 10:55
Speaker 2: Flowers against the Texas?
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: I don't know.
• 10:56
Speaker 3: I want to see the way that this, uh, this
• 10:59
Speaker 3: raven offense unfolds under Todd Monkin. Who's gonna be the
• 11:04
Speaker 3: lead primary target getter? Is it gonna be Mark Andrews,
• 11:08
Speaker 3: Obj's in the mix? We got Za Flowers, They're gonna
• 11:11
Speaker 3: be running the football.
• 11:12
Speaker 2: I like JK. Dobbins.
• 11:14
Speaker 3: I'm interested to see how that running back by committee
• 11:16
Speaker 3: works out. Like, are they gonna lean on one guy?
• 11:18
Speaker 3: I would love it to be. I would love it
• 11:20
  Speaker 3: to be JK.
• 11:21
  Speaker 2: Dobbins.
• 11:21
Speaker 3: But for a Flowers, I'm probably leaving him on the
• 11:23
Speaker 3: bench without seeing you know, I think I.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: Threw him in a lineup.
• 11:27
Speaker 3: But I understand there are teams, there's leagues with enough people.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: Where you know you're probably I gotta start him this week.
• 11:35
Speaker 1: Last one is Ramondre Stevenson against the Eagles. I'm not
• 11:39
Speaker 1: not starting Romandre Stevenson.
• 11:41
Speaker 2: Wait, he didn't practice on Friday.
• 11:43
Speaker 1: That's not great, But we don't know what it is
• 11:45
Speaker 1: no idea if he's playing, I'm not. They didn't start him, they.
• 11:49
Speaker 2: Didn't see him at practice the initial I'm not really
• 11:52
  Speaker 2: so much.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: Worried about Ezekiel Elliott. I mean, Zeke will get his
• 11:54
Speaker 1: touches and he'll probably get some touchdowns as well, but
• 11:57
Speaker 1: Remandre is the guy in New England. What worries me
• 11:59
Speaker 1: is the defense and just whether or not the Patriots
• 12:03
Speaker 1: can move the ball and score. But reminder, he's gonna
• 12:05
Speaker 1: get plenty of touches. He's gonna get some targets as well.
• 12:07
Speaker 1: I like the upside there, so I'm not super excited
• 12:11
Speaker 1: about it. But I'm also not willing to leave him
• 12:13
Speaker 1: on my bench as long as he's playing for New
• 12:15
Speaker 1: England this week coming after.
• 12:17
Speaker 2: Ford, what's that go ahead? I was looking up his
• 12:21
  Speaker 2: practice status.
• 12:22
Speaker 1: Okay, coming up, we're talking about tight ends, also talking
• 12:24
Speaker 1: about how you can dominate your competition this week. We
• 12:26
Speaker 1: really is the whole point of this whole show. That's more.
• 12:28
Speaker 1: As you stick around here on the Stardom Cindam Show
• 12:30
Speaker 1: presented by Mythical Games talking tight Ends rank, do you
• 12:34
Speaker 1: want to read his Stardom cinem.
• 12:36
Speaker 2: Of course, he's Scott Kyle Pitts.
• 12:39
Speaker 1: We all love Kyle Pitts.
• 12:40
Speaker 3: Here Jawan Johnson last season seven receiving touchdowns only or wait,
• 12:45
Speaker 3: hold on, just Travis Kelcey and George Kittle had more dalkon.
• 12:50
Speaker 3: I forget Okay, Dalton, Okay, he's a Bills fan. But
• 12:53
Speaker 3: Dog Kincaid's very good. The story of Dalton Kinkaid is fascinating.
• 12:58
Speaker 3: A lot of people don't know this. I saw him
• 13:00
Speaker 3: play at us D.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: Yeah, he was a.
• 13:04
Speaker 2: He was a terrrero and then the whole like he
• 13:06
Speaker 2: was playing like cal Poly. He was playing like.
• 13:10
Speaker 3: Not Sonama State, but one of those schools, one of
• 13:12
Speaker 3: those randose schools. And now everybody's like, oh, he's the
• 13:16
Speaker 3: next Travis Kelcey. Although I think I've said that I
• 13:19
Speaker 3: don't like that Greg Dulcich is on this sittem list.
• 13:22
Speaker 2: That doesn't make sense to me.
• 13:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not feeling that New.
• 13:25
Speaker 2: Orleans brutal against tight ends.
• 13:28
Speaker 3: And if Chicka Konkla was somebody that you picked up
• 13:30
Speaker 3: because of Travis Kelcey, then you want to do it.
• 13:33
Speaker 2: But he wouldn't. Don't want to go Dalton Schultz against
• 13:35
  Speaker 2: the Ravens. I don't know.
• 13:36
Speaker 3: Maybe it's the matchup, but I think he could end
• 13:38
Speaker 3: up being the target's leader for that.
• 13:39
Speaker 1: I love he split the difference between Dalton Kaid and
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: Dawson Knox, Like.
• 13:44
Speaker 3: Dawson's the blocking tad that's the big thing. Like Dalton
• 13:47
Speaker 3: kin Kaid is not going to block all. We're supposed
• 13:50
Speaker 3: to talk about Dalton just.
• 13:53
Speaker 1: A lot. I'll talk about Dalton kon kid. If you
• 13:55
Speaker 1: guys want to run some b roll of Daltons. Oh yeah,
• 13:57
Speaker 1: I forgot they got their b roll. I still have
• 14:00
Speaker 1: a bizop. Cut this tape last night, rank make sure
• 14:03
Speaker 1: they get it in the show. I still have a
• 14:05
Speaker 1: hole in my heart because Dalton and k pretty much
• 14:07
Speaker 1: ripped it out against USC last year when he caught
• 14:10
Speaker 1: like eleven balls for them and during the regular season
• 14:14
Speaker 1: while he was still at Utah. We love we you know,
• 14:17
Speaker 1: we're starting to buy into rookie tight ends at least
• 14:20
Speaker 1: in this class because I love Sam Laporta.
• 14:22
Speaker 3: Well, you look at the guys that don't block. Is
• 14:25
Speaker 3: the guy Like that's the one reason why a lot
• 14:27
Speaker 3: of these guys take forever to be able to make
• 14:30
Speaker 3: the transition, because you got to learn to how to block,
• 14:32
Speaker 3: like alignment and run a round like a receiver. They're
• 14:35
Speaker 3: like DALTONK and K's not blocking anybody, just like Kyle
• 14:38
Speaker 3: Pitts two years ago did not block anybody, had a
• 14:41
Speaker 3: thousand receiving yards, had was on pace for one hundred
• 14:44
Speaker 3: targets last year, hasn't blocked a lick in the NFL.
• 14:47
Speaker 1: Now they're making him block and so now we're frustrated
• 14:50
Speaker 1: about Kyle Pitts. But Dalton and K just run routes
• 14:52
Speaker 1: to catch football. That should be great.
• 14:53
Speaker 2: He really did look like the college Travis.
• 14:55
Speaker 1: He really did. Really he's wearing red. That that's what
• 14:58
Speaker 1: made it even more Like So we like goldingkon K.
• 15:01
Speaker 1: We don't like Dawson Knox because Dawson Knox blocks. He blocks,
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: Knox blocks.
• 15:06
  Speaker 2: Knox blocks.
• 15:06
Speaker 3: It's as simple as that. Like, he's probably not gonna
• 15:09
Speaker 3: get the target share. He will end up being the
• 15:11
Speaker 3: first guy that scores a touchdown for the Bills, and
• 15:13
Speaker 3: everybody's gonna be upset. I think they're anticipating it being
• 15:16
Speaker 3: James Cook. But it's either gonna be it's gonna be
• 15:19
Speaker 3: Dawson Knox, or it's gonna be some other rando that
• 15:21
Speaker 3: I'm not thinking of.
• 15:21
Speaker 1: Knox blocks wearing socks. Knox blocks with a fox Knox
• 15:25
Speaker 1: blocks in the box. Uh. For that reason, we're not
• 15:28
Speaker 1: starting Dawson Knox, which means I can't do any weird
• 15:32
Speaker 1: Dawson Knox puns or sing the Dawson's cricks. So Studs
• 15:37
Speaker 1: to be enough of that. It's time to dominate your rivals.
• 15:43
Speaker 1: Presented by Mythic Games. We're talking about some under the
• 15:45
Speaker 1: radar guys that you need to start this week to
• 15:47
Speaker 1: win your matchup. So first, who do you have?
• 15:49
Speaker 2: Well, I don't know how under the radar.
• 15:51
Speaker 3: George Pickens is after this draft season where a lot
• 15:54
Speaker 3: of people were very excited about him, to the point
• 15:56
Speaker 3: that Deontay Johnson started to fall behind him in drafts.
• 15:59
Speaker 2: But last year George Pickens had thirty three.
• 16:02
Speaker 3: Percent of the Steelers receiving touchdowns, and we anticipate that
• 16:07
Speaker 3: being a similar case. Like he he looks like the
• 16:11
Speaker 3: guy who's going to be catching the touchdowns. And even
• 16:13
Speaker 3: with a difficult matchup against the forty nine ers, they
• 16:17
Speaker 3: they've got a couple of new faces, some injuries. I
• 16:20
Speaker 3: think that George Pickens is a safe enough play this week.
• 16:23
Speaker 1: I think he's gonna get some yellow balls. Well, Kenny Pickett,
• 16:25
Speaker 1: that alone's gonna sort of help him out. I love
• 16:27
Speaker 1: Gerald Everett this week, especially if you didn't have Travis
• 16:30
Speaker 1: Kelcey go for you on Thursday and you need some
• 16:33
Speaker 1: tight end help. We keep talking about this new offense
• 16:36
Speaker 1: with Kellen Moore and how it looks like the Chargers
• 16:38
Speaker 1: want to be more vertical. We know what Mike Wims
• 16:41
Speaker 1: can do, we know what Keenan Allen can do. But
• 16:43
Speaker 1: I think there's a lot of room for Gerald Ever
• 16:45
Speaker 1: to operate, especially if the Dolphins sort of want to
• 16:47
Speaker 1: play a couple of high safeties and try to cut
• 16:49
Speaker 1: off the deep ball. I mean, it's just more room
• 16:51
Speaker 1: for Gerald Ever to operate. This is a big group
• 16:53
Speaker 1: of pass catchers, I mean, like physically large. They have
• 16:56
Speaker 1: a lot of tall guys.
• 16:57
Speaker 3: The Chargers have a type like all their guys going
• 17:00
Speaker 3: back to like David Boston who they signed as a
• 17:02
Speaker 3: free agent. They always have these big, tall guys, like
• 17:06
Speaker 3: even Keenan Allen's super tall. And yet here comes Austin
• 17:08
  Speaker 3: Eckler guy. He's about the size he's well, he's he's.
• 17:14
Speaker 1: He's short, but he's not actually small. He's very stout.
• 17:18
Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, but yes he's not. He's not is
• 17:21
Speaker 1: stout person it says, you're talking about Young waykup. I
• 17:27
Speaker 1: don't know if you were.
• 17:28
Speaker 3: Well cut the b roll for that viz op roll it.
• 17:34
Speaker 3: I would have been more impressed if he went back
• 17:36
Speaker 3: and found the Young Way coup tape of him as
• 17:38
Speaker 3: a Charger, because it's so funny to me that the
• 17:41
Speaker 3: Chargers always have kicking provers.
• 17:44
Speaker 2: Best guy in the game. You know what, we all
• 17:47
Speaker 2: love like this, this Falcons offense, like just dig it.
• 17:51
Speaker 2: The thing is Desmond Ritter should.
• 17:53
Speaker 3: Be good enough to move them into field goal range,
• 17:56
Speaker 3: maybe not good enough to convert all those into touchdowns.
• 17:59
Speaker 2: So I love Young Way this season.
• 18:01
Speaker 1: That's a good line of thinking. And long season. Long term,
• 18:04
Speaker 1: he gets to play at least half of his games
• 18:06
Speaker 1: in a dome, which is.
• 18:07
Speaker 2: More than half because of this sad that's.
• 18:09
Speaker 1: Right, because yeah, that's true. So he gets play a
• 18:11
Speaker 1: lot of games in a dome, and that that's certainly
• 18:13
Speaker 1: very helpful there for me. And this one might sound
• 18:15
Speaker 1: a little bit crazy, Russ, I think Russe is coming
• 18:19
Speaker 1: back to our lives. The Russell Resurrection begins this week.
• 18:23
Speaker 1: Sean Payton has come in he's prevented Russell from having
• 18:26
Speaker 1: his own special coaches and having his own corner office.
• 18:29
Speaker 2: Stop kissing the babies.
• 18:31
Speaker 1: Basically, yes, stop trying to be a politician out here.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: So I think we start to see Russell Wilson come back.
• 18:36
Speaker 1: He's not gonna be the same guy he was in
• 18:37
Speaker 1: Seattle where he gets you a ton of rushing yards.
• 18:39
Speaker 1: He'll run just enough, but I think they're gonna simplify
• 18:42
Speaker 1: the offense. They're gonna ask him to stay on script
• 18:44
Speaker 1: the whole time. And on top of it, he gets
• 18:46
Speaker 1: the Raiders in week one, which is about as nice
• 18:48
Speaker 1: a matchup as you could ask for. So if there's
• 18:50
Speaker 1: ever a chance for you to sort of buy back
• 18:52
Speaker 1: into the Russell Wilson, can he cook narrative, it's this week.
• 18:56
Speaker 2: When he gets the QB one. It's gonna be amazing.
• 19:00
Speaker 1: Anarchy on Twitter when he's the qv one. This week.
• 19:04
Speaker 1: Speaking of anarchy, we're gonna talk about running backs. Oh
• 19:06
Speaker 1: my god, I don't even know if that makes sense,
• 19:08
  Speaker 1: but that's what I said.
• 19:08
  Speaker 2: Sons of Anarch.
• 19:09
Speaker 1: Plus, we're going to Club dub so stick around for
• 19:12
Speaker 1: more of the Starnham CINAM Show presented by mythical games
• 19:16
Speaker 1: Starham CIDAM running backs for a Week one. You want
• 19:20
Speaker 1: to read these or should I?
• 19:21
Speaker 3: Javonte Williams, James Cook, who is expected to be the
• 19:25
Speaker 3: RB one of the Buffalo Bills, JK. Dobbins who averaged
• 19:28
Speaker 3: what close to six yards per carry? And Raheem mostered
• 19:32
Speaker 3: a pretty good matchup this week or a pretty good
• 19:34
Speaker 3: opportunity for the Miami Dolphins the CIDAM. You know what, listen,
• 19:38
  Speaker 3: I don't.
• 19:38
  Speaker 1: I don't.
• 19:38
Speaker 3: First of all, I don't like the Jamal Williams is
• 19:40
Speaker 3: on this I don't like the Evan Hull slander.
• 19:44
  Speaker 2: Rashad White.
• 19:46
Speaker 3: Okay, if you don't, if you truly believe that Rashad
• 19:49
Speaker 3: White is not gonna do well against the Minnesota Vikings,
• 19:51
Speaker 3: then do yourself a favor right now and go pick
• 19:54
Speaker 3: up Sean Tucker because if he doesn't.
• 19:56
Speaker 2: If Rashad White doesn't play well.
• 19:58
Speaker 3: It's because he's benched for sewn Remember where you heard
• 20:01
Speaker 3: it here first? And Naji Harris hate Naji Harris slander.
• 20:07
Speaker 3: He's on this sydnem list, not on my sytem list.
• 20:09
Speaker 3: He was injured last season, he was playing behind a
• 20:12
  Speaker 3: porous offensive line.
• 20:15
Speaker 2: Give him a break.
• 20:16
Speaker 3: He had ninety four carries in the last four weeks.
• 20:19
Speaker 3: That was second in the NFL. The Steelers love him.
• 20:22
Speaker 3: I know that everybody wants to be cool and they
• 20:24
Speaker 3: want to be like Jalen Warren.
• 20:27
Speaker 1: Stop it, my voice doesn't sound like that.
• 20:29
Speaker 2: Don't be that person.
• 20:31
Speaker 1: I was that person at several points this offseason. Don't
• 20:33
Speaker 1: do it, okay. Javont Williams was on the start list.
• 20:37
Speaker 1: I talked about Russell Wilson, how I like him against
• 20:39
Speaker 1: the Raiders. The Raider defense not very good. How are
• 20:42
Speaker 1: you feeling about Javonte this week?
• 20:44
Speaker 2: Did I not say, Oh, I like it?
• 20:45
  Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah?
• 20:46
Speaker 3: They One of the things about Sean Payton what I
• 20:50
Speaker 3: love that he did, number one is I love that
• 20:53
Speaker 3: he took the heat off the entire organization by being
• 20:56
Speaker 3: the bad guy, like by calling out Russell Wilson and
• 21:00
Speaker 3: Nathaniel Hackett. Like the narrative switched from like, oh, the
• 21:03
Speaker 3: Broncos were a disappointment last year to like, Sean Payton's
• 21:06
  Speaker 3: a jerk.
• 21:07
Speaker 2: And I think that's what he wants. I think, you know,
• 21:09
Speaker 2: he's taken a page from Bill parcells Man.
• 21:12
Speaker 3: The one thing that he really does, though, is get
• 21:13
Speaker 3: the most out of his running backs, from Reggie Bush
• 21:15
Speaker 3: to Alvin Kamara and all those. Deuce McAllister, he always
• 21:19
Speaker 3: finds a way to get the most out of his
• 21:20
Speaker 3: running backs. So I always want to have a Sean
• 21:24
Speaker 3: Payton running back and Javonte Williams at some point. Even
• 21:27
Speaker 3: samaj p Ryan's on my roster in a number of places,
• 21:30
Speaker 3: So I'll take either one of those guys.
• 21:31
Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna mention some j p Ryan too.
• 21:33
Speaker 1: I like him this season because Sean Payton likes to
• 21:36
Speaker 1: use multiple running backs, so Javonte is in playj P
• 21:40
Speaker 1: Ryan is in play.
• 21:41
Speaker 3: What's up with these chairs? By the way, Like I
• 21:43
Speaker 3: tried to recline earlier and then I'm like super.
• 21:45
Speaker 1: Far back, but they still they actually reclined like all
• 21:47
Speaker 1: the way back. Actually, I think if you can like
• 21:49
  Speaker 1: lean them back.
• 21:50
Speaker 2: Or whatever, like this is like an airline.
• 21:53
Speaker 1: I do want to take umbradge with with Florio having
• 21:56
Speaker 1: Jamal Williams on the SIS list, I jam what is
• 22:01
Speaker 1: he doing? I love him this week, but he's on
• 22:02
Speaker 1: the SITT list, So I guess we have to come
• 22:04
Speaker 1: up with a reason for why he's on the seat.
• 22:06
Speaker 1: First of all, we think you should be a start,
• 22:09
Speaker 1: but Floyda has as a sit that's I'm.
• 22:12
Speaker 2: Glad he's not here side for your sincere.
• 22:15
  Speaker 3: I don't mean no, no, no, I don't mean that
• 22:17
  Speaker 3: in a bad way, but I I don't want to
• 22:19
Speaker 3: hear the reason like no, it's just like somebody was
• 22:22
Speaker 3: sitting next to you and be like, you know, Star
• 22:23
Speaker 3: Wars episode nine was great.
• 22:25
Speaker 2: Nope, nope, cop a teen get out of here.
• 22:29
Speaker 1: I mean the whole Like they killed Chewie. We thought
• 22:30
Speaker 1: Cheweye was dead for like ten minutes. Thing like that.
• 22:33
Speaker 1: That was not fun. All right. Time now to talk
• 22:36
Speaker 1: about our club dub players of the week, the guys
• 22:38
Speaker 1: that we guarantee will score twenty five points or more
• 22:41
Speaker 1: you'll get your money back for watching or listening to
• 22:43
Speaker 1: the show. Who do you like to get in the
• 22:45
Speaker 1: club dubbed this week?
• 22:46
Speaker 3: Well, I'm gonna go with Aaron Rodgers because I think
• 22:48
Speaker 3: there's too much history of Aaron Rodgers always rising to
• 22:51
Speaker 3: the occasion when he's kind of not not necessarily backed
• 22:54
Speaker 3: into a wall, but when he can be at his
• 22:57
Speaker 3: most extreme pettiness. And I think that we saw a
• 23:00
Speaker 3: couple of years ago when they drafted Jordan Love. He
• 23:02
Speaker 3: went out there and put up back to back MVP seasons,
• 23:05
Speaker 3: and I truly believe, and perhaps I've been swayed by
• 23:08
Speaker 3: the hard Knocks hype that going to New York, he
• 23:10
Speaker 3: again has something to prove and it's gonna make a
• 23:13
Speaker 3: grand debut Monday night against the Buffalo Bills.
• 23:16
Speaker 1: I just want to know about his UFO encounter. I
• 23:18
Speaker 1: want more about what happened. Tom DeLong does too when
• 23:21
Speaker 1: he saw an alien. I like. I like chrys ol
• 23:24
Speaker 1: Lave this week. I like chrissell Lave all year, but
• 23:26
Speaker 1: I especially like him this week against the Tennessee Titans.
• 23:30
Speaker 1: Getting Derek Carr I think really helps. He was dealing
• 23:32
Speaker 1: with a combination of Andy Dalton and Jamis Winston last year.
• 23:36
Speaker 1: I think Derek Carr sort of combines the best attributes
• 23:39
Speaker 1: of both of those guys. He is by far the
• 23:42
Speaker 1: number one receiver in this offense. The Titans secondary has
• 23:45
Speaker 1: been an issue over the last couple of years, and
• 23:48
Speaker 1: with the Saints shorthanded at running back, I like Jamal Williams,
• 23:51
Speaker 1: but there is no Alvin Kamara and Drey Miller is
• 23:54
Speaker 1: banged up. Chris all Lave is gonna get a lot
• 23:56
Speaker 1: more work they're gonna have to throw the football a
• 23:58
Speaker 1: lot more where they're going with it. Big big things
• 24:02
Speaker 1: coming for him in week one this season. There it is.
• 24:05
Speaker 1: Those are our guys. We're gonna get into Club dub.
• 24:07
Speaker 1: Give you twenty five points or more. Otherwise I'll give
• 24:10
Speaker 1: you whatever change I have in my pocket, which is
• 24:13
Speaker 1: none at all. Anyway, I'll do it for this edition
• 24:16
Speaker 1: of the Stardom Centum Show, presented by Mythical Games. You
• 24:18
Speaker 1: can check us out all week long through the podcast feed.
• 24:21
Speaker 1: Five shows, five days. I'll be sure to check them
• 24:23
Speaker 1: all out. He's Adam Rank. I'm Marcus Grant. Thanks for watching,
• 24:25
Speaker 1: thanks for listening. Enjoy the weekend everybody. We'll talk to
• 24:28
  Speaker 1: you next week.
