- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: Hello, and welcome back to the Pretty Little Podcast.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_02]: We're your hosts.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_02]: My name is Phoebe and my name is Caroline and today, we are recapping season seven, episode 17 of Pretty Little Liars.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_02]: Call.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_02]: driving Miss Crazy.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_02]: Driving Miss Crazy.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: Driving Miss Crazy.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_02]: This episode was crazy.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_02]: There were several moments in this episode that I want to just put out there after our conversation last episode.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_02]: These moments weren't spoiled for me, and this is what's so beautiful.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's like you can spoil the huge moments.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: You can spoil the whole Spencer thing for me, but you're not going to somehow also give away that Mona Singh's jailhouse rock during an already black and white dream sequence for Ezra gets the shit beat out of him.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: Like that, I never saw coming, you know what I mean?
- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: I thought the musical episode kind of things were behind it,
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: So that was not spoiled for me, and another big moment in this episode was not spoiled for me, and I just think that's crazy.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: Two things to say.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_00]: One, I have two things I need to rave about really quickly.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: Ranting rave is the wrong word.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: I need to be annoyed and pee.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, then it's literally the opposite of what you mean.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: Number one is related to this.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: Guys, in the same thing on the Tuesday episode, I said something on the Patreon.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: I was trying to give Caroline a little bit of the feeling that we all had in 2017, or whenever you watched this for the first time, I just wanted her to have a little bit of like, oh my goodness, that was not Spencer.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: And instead, you guys thought that I just wasn't idiot,
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I really didn't stupid, which is always so funny to me, so funny to make considering how many of us, you are the least controversial, virtual, just to clear the air and get my like pretty little iron fan card back, I knew that that wasn't Spencer, but I didn't know how much Caroline knew, especially at that point at the airport, so I didn't want
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I didn't want to give it away.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted you to have some of the surprise.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I even though I knew you knew about Alex, but like, I told Phoebe on the Patreon.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: I guess will never know.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: You know, because this could, this V Phoebe covering her tracks known we'd never know.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: But I said, if this is the true Phoebe, if you're not deceiving me right now, turns out you're a great liar, which is also how I would never freaking know if you were telling the truth right now.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: Every where I go with Phoebe, I now have to bring a polygraph exam in the examiner.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know how expensive that's going to get?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, what else am I going to do?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: Just doubt everything.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's a comes out of her freaking mouth about being like, I know it's like, oh, we don't ever know if I'm telling the truth right now.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: But like, I'm normally pretty good about like, I mean, I've called Spacoli my whole life like I'm pretty good at owning up to like being an idiot.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: So like this is one of those instances where I know I'm not being an idiot and so it is hurtful.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, be these literally.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Are you actually hurt?
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: Heard's the wrong word.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I hope.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: Peeved.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: Peeved is fine.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: Peeved is fine.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm peaved almost every week, once we put an episode out, and I get Annie's sort of feedback.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even, I don't even, I don't even want to look at Annie's.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: Well, don't worry.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: We may have, primarily, not about you.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, like, from Tuesdays, from, like, the episode that went up today, the episode for you guys, I went up on Tuesday.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, deliberately.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to know anything that anybody said about it.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: Is it because we talked about Sabrina Carbender so much and you're afraid people don't agree?
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's why.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: But here's my other fear.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: This is a lot of fear actually.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: This is just the other thing I have to rant about really quickly.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: I was sitting at a light today.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: This is actually making me I right thinking about it.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh God, I can see we're in for it.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a new right on red.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, right on red.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like forever it's been like you can turn right on red at this light.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: And
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: If this incident that happened today had happened a month ago when they didn't put in the second sign that's literally on the light that says no turn on red I would have not been angry and I probably would have turned Okay, but because there were now two signs saying no turn on red And I was the first car there.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't I'm sorry.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not breaking the rule.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, of course
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: Because I don't know if there's a police car could be coming from the other direction perpendicular to the light.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: And even more so, it's called just do the right thing.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: Even when nobody's there.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: This car behind me.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I give them the benefit of the doubt the first two times.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: He lightly honks.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: Did you like it?
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I was just like, you are.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then I watched him run a red light.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like, you don't need it.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, I wish you also I'd watched him get pulled over.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: I wish, it's just like so huge.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: And I couldn't even like, I didn't even know how to like, do I've rolled on the window and he's not going to see what I'm pointing to.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: But like, I hope he realized that I was the one following the rules and just because your comfortable breaking the rules is not mean everybody else on the road has to become triple breaking the same rules that your comfortable breaking.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: I actually probably would have just gotten out of my car, walked over the window.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: I did go like this.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: I did go to my hand.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad you had it.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: And then I saw him and his car go.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: See, this is where never mind.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: I was about to like satirically suggest that people get out of their car and teach the car behind you a lesson.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's actually a terrible idea Phoebe and I have been talking about road rage quite a bit.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: I was afraid he was going to get out of what I would have done.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: If he would have gotten out of the car, that is a thing I'm like, go for it.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: Get out of the car.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: And all these cars around are going to start fucking filming your ass.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: Go for it.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: No, get out of the car.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_02]: I want you to.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: you know, like go for it.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I just would also bother me.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: I was walking into the house after it happened and I'm like, that guy is never...
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to remember that he honked.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: So he's not going to have like I just hate when you don't when you know that the satisfaction of someone learning their lesson.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, he's going to happen because if he hawked, hawked, if he honked that many times and that aggressively, when he returns to that same intersection, we're obviously like he goes through the intersection often enough that he was convinced it you could turn right
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: which I understand so he will definitely be back there and what's going to happen is he's either going to be stuck behind another person who's doing what you're doing and he's going to start his hockey thing and be like, why is this happening every time I'm here?
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: And then he's going to, it was a man, right?
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: That he's going to look up from his fucking, from he's going to get out of his own thoughts for one second, stop imagining that there's no other reality where he could be wrong and he's going to see that there's a sign.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: or he's going to be the person there and he's going to fucking turn right on red and he's going to get pulled over like I promise you or he's going to get if there's a traffic game he's going to get a ticket in the mail like something he will think you're now and I guarantee you he will be like oh fuck how many times how I honk at somebody how many times how I like flick somebody off or whatever for this and I was actually wrong he will have that moment you won't get the satisfaction of knowing it happened exactly but it will what's it's just
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: that I, first of all, do you think that after you honked the first two times?
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, and if, if it wasn't a no turn on red, if you honked those couple of times, do you really think I would have stayed there?
- 7:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the other thing is, I'm sorry, and I've, I've had this up before.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: Just because you can turn right on red, doesn't mean you have to turn right on red.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: There are a million people.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's my fault.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: When, yeah, exactly.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_02]: When some people, like, first got their license, and it was like,
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: I remember it was like, oh, be careful.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: Turn, like, you could like wait to turn right on red until you've been driving for a little bit because it's also like about love and then you can't turn right on red anywhere.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, yes, you can.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's like a thing in Pennsylvania.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: Mom always says it.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's a sign on like every light.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but if there's not a sign, you can turn right on red on red.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: you I also in the first car in the line so you don't know what I'm seeing you don't know they're like you don't like part of why they made it a no turn on red is because you have to basically pull into the intersection to be able to see if you can go and it's a safety hazard because all these cars are parked in their bunch of trees and you can't see around it.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: One thing I will say, it doesn't work for this situation, because it's a right turn only lane, but I've started not turning my blinker on.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: If it's a turn right, I do a race, but I just get nervous about it.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_02]: And I know I could go away.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't turn my blinker on until.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, I'm silly me, and then I turn it on as I'm literally turning it.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: I do that too.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: Because then you can't be annoyed with me.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: For just, I just found out I was turning it.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'm lost.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a local.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know where I was freaking going.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, so those were my like little rancet.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like, and it's always a man.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: Every time I'm annoyed in the car because of someone else on the road, it is 100% of the time I'm in.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: Almost every time I'm annoyed at all, it is 100% of the time I'm in.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, almost.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: Well, one thing I want to say before we get into this episode is that a mom calls me today.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: And we have, we're home.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm called me today, too.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's not a competition.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, we're having this little conversation.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_02]: That was a joke.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_02]: One, make a joke laugh.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm just kidding.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_02]: I don't make sure you remember that.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's hard to tell these days.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_02]: The Phoebe, anyway, Mom calls me and we're talking.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: And she's like, yeah, I started listening to your first ever episode.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought to myself, I mean, maybe I should start watching this.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: I said, oh my god, no one, guys, you can do it.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_02]: I did think of a better time to start watching the show that we are about to finish recapping.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_02]: We've been doing it for three years.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: She's just now thinking maybe she should start watching it.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: That means in four years she will start watching gossip grow.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, and then she goes and then you know as I listen I'm gonna send you guys my edits on the episode because I'll watch the episode and then I'll listen to you guys And I'll send you a month don't do that.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_02]: I said I said do not do that.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know what scratch all of our plans scratch And he plans we had for what comes next We're just gonna start it over from the top and we're gonna recap them and add in your edits and we're not that'll be the new podcast
- 11:13[SPEAKER_02]: But how fun we find it?
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're not sick as that.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you wouldn't have creative direction over the podcast and any capacity, you needed to be watching a show.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_02]: She's looking for a new show to watch because she finished Young Girl, which she tried to come to the show.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: And then she goes, and then you know what I realized?
- 11:27[SPEAKER_02]: I can just watch it again.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_02]: And she said that's what she did when she realized she only had like two episodes left.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: She went back and like rewatch some of the other episodes that she liked just to like hold it off a little bit longer and then she realized it's not over forever.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_02]: I kind of watch it again and I was like true, but you can also watch pretty little ires.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: That makes me so cool.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's so cute.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: But also, I mean, I think that we honestly, like, this is pretty predictable mom behavior.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I mean, hello.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's a story.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm going to watch it.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: And also, like, you should, but do not give us more work to do if you do.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: No, don't, like, involve me in that.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: And also, in all sorts of times, it'll be like, don't mention anything in the episodes that you think.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: Sounds weird.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to tell Phoebe that she sounds like she's in a library.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, this was recorded to you.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: And it happened to go.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: Don't tell me.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: Don't tell me that some of the cuts sound weird don't tell me that I should have taken stuff out or left stuff in don't do that Don't say that we should have sworn less like the podcast already happened, but I literally okay when I was editing that episode and I'd like put in the original audio
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: I literally thought it was in two times speed.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: Not because of how fast we were speaking, but because of how high we were speaking.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_02]: I know, baby, that's what I was saying.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: Art, the pitch of our voices.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's like what happened to us in the past three years?
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: We used our voices so much that we've lost those notes.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: We're unable to access those notes anymore.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: I really hope that people listen.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: And hopefully I put the adbreak between the new part and the original part.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm really hoping the adbreak plays for everybody because it is a palette cleanser.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: Completely dumps jar otherwise.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's jar.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: You might, you might fall out of your chair if you think of your core.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's fun.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_02]: It was fun to look at how far we've come all the excitement.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I meant when I yesterday I was like the light was still in our eyes.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like that got really is what it sounded like We still had we our spirits had and been broken.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: They haven't been broken.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_02]: We love doing this.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_02]: We've gotten more comfortable, you know
- 13:32[SPEAKER_02]: figure out.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_02]: We're giving the person sitting at the back of detention, who's like been been around the block a couple times.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: And that those for that first season, that was like she's sitting around rowing class.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_02]: And she's saying the resident when the attendance is called.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, present not here.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Teacher.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: So kind of just like how I wasn't school.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, um, I'm on the recap.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to get into it before I do.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_02]: I have to remind you guys this week marks this episode marks the last normal cadence episodes.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: So here's how it's going to go next week on Thursday.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: You're still getting a pretty little Liars centered episode.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: But it is not going to be the next recap.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: We want to just elongate this and enjoy our final pretty little Liars fall.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: magical time of year.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: We want to enjoy it with you guys.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: So next week, you're going to get a punch bowl.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: And this is not a punch bowl that's already on the Patreon.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be brand new for all of your ears on streaming.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to talk about a few different topics, things that we wanted to get into kind of reflecting on the entire show up until this point.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: and then the following week will return with a recap of season 7 episode 18 and we'll continue with that until we finish the show so it'll be every other week for the last three episodes of the season and then we'll have some extra episodes at the end as well to kind of wrap it all up because God knows we can't just move on from Rosewood at the finale.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: We will have so much to dive into.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: So that's how it's going to work from here on out Tuesdays, stay the same, you're still going to get your podcasts, Patreon, staying the same for this month, go join it, enjoy.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_02]: If you haven't listened to our episode from Monday that we were just talking about, Phoebe and I, re-listened to our first ever podcast episode as Cringy as it was, and we also re-watched the pilot, and we sort of did a little pre-episode episode that we stitch in there and released on Monday.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: So if you want to go listen to that, it's on streaming everywhere.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's it.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: We have an idea for the Patreon for this month.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: I watched documentary this weekend on Netflix.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: That is was insane.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: And you probably seen it a little bit.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's called Unknown Number.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: Nope.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: The high school catfish story.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: And it is giving a little bit.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's a true story.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: And you actually you can't foresee the ending if you were paid a million dollars.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, I do love things like that.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so well, since we're doing a punch ball on streaming this month, I wonder if we swap out
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: the punch bowl for something like that.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: We get all to do that as the pilot, if we want to know.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: But I just know we're running out of pilots.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: Our Patreon structure is going to be changing and there are just some shows that we've wanted to do, which next month I really want to do Buffy for October.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm good.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: All right, guys.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: Let me get into the recap.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to go through character by character starting with Ariah, who was recruited by the A team and joined.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_02]: So currently, she is out doing A's bidding as as part of the game, but the other girls don't know that it's part of the game, and they don't know what she's doing, obviously.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_02]: And this only worked because Ariah is the true weakest link.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: All right, she's receiving these insane deep fake messages from A that she absolutely can't stop watching because she's horrified by her own appearance and I would be too and as part of her a miss and the last thing that she had to do was destroy Emily and Allison's nursery.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you heard that, right?
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: Emily and Allison are with child.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: They're having a baby.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_02]: And so Emily has revamped her room in the D-Learned at Stungeon to be a nursery for their child using old furniture and clothes and baby things from hers and Ali's childhood.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just so sweet Emily is going to move into the house.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: Things are looking really good.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_02]: Ali told her she loves her.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: Like things are looking up.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: So, Ari, I just had to come in and completely fuck that up.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: Spencer botched just about everything which we kind of knew because the night of archers murder she used his card at the rally bar while she was seducing detective fluency unbeknownst to her and the cops are under her so she's being interrogated and the girls are pretty pissed off at her because if she's being looked at for this that means they are also being looked at for this and of course she ropes everybody else into that
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: And we can't forget, we can't forget that we learned that Mary Drake, as Spencer's real mom, sorry, VV, it's, it's Mary Drake.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: Hannah and Caleb are back together and she's feeling kind of guilty and responsible for Spencer's big fuck up that I just referenced because the night of that was also that infamous scene where Caleb is begging for Spencer to let him in.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_02]: in and Hannah is listening and oh it's terrible.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: So Caleb and Hannah together they go to the rally that destroy all the credit card slips by flooding the basement storage room so the cops can't use those credit card slips to nail Spencer using archers card and therefore being involved in the murder.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: Hannah is currently defending Lucas to the end turns out he was the only investor in her fashion line.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_02]: He was hoping others would jump on board, but now she's pretty much drained him of all his money and is also living in his house.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: Where's he living?
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: No idea.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: We also find out that he and Charles were friends as kids.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_02]: He was not aware that Charles and C.C.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_02]: are the same person.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: And he wasn't aware obviously of what C.C.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_02]: was sort of doing to the girls.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: but as kids they created a comic book and it was all sort of about like getting vengeance and whatever and there was a second comic book that didn't have the ending finished and Lucas can't find it so he's very nervous that C.C.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: has that?
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: Lucas was also solidifying the girl's eyes.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 19:04[SPEAKER_02]: He said that was worth a D. He said that was worth a D. He has it not CZ not CZ.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: Lucas was solidifying the girls' alibi for the night that CZ was killed by saying that he was with them all night, but we actually found out he went back and retracted his statements for the girls don't have an alibi anymore.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: For that night and now the cops know that or the cops are gonna know that.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_02]: Hannah has also asked for Mona's help with the game, Mona's feeling in a type of way about it because she feels like she's only brought in when the girls need her and then she's cast out She's never really part of the group and I just want to say Mona you can always sit at my lunch table.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_02]: You can be on my group any time you want You don't have to ask I would be lucky to have you.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's everything that's really really important So oh, Arya and Ezra are getting married despite everything, but I can't get into that.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get into the episode
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: We began with Arya and Azra taking salsa lessons.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: One thing I'll give ever.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_00]: One thing I'll give Arya credit for in it, a special kind of way is she.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: She can't hide anything.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: Oh no.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: Oh no.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: She has one hundred percent herself, one hundred percent of the time.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and there's almost part of that that you have to admire, just a little bit.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 20:16[SPEAKER_02]: I guess that she is currently being A, and she's hiding that.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: But not very well.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: But you know what I mean?
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like the way that she's like.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: She can't even fain kindness to her husband.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: No, she can't, and later on, when he kind of like says to her, I can tell your sort of mind that there's any more.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_02]: She seems baffled.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, wait, what?
- 20:38[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, dude, she thinks she's doing a really good job.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: Here I was thinking, this was the end of Ezreal, not really, but it could have been.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: I was watching in a real time, she's like, or Ezra is like, did you, did I step on you?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you look like you're like, in pain to get her and she goes, my shoes are too small.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: And Ezra is, I asked for a size four and a half.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_02]: These are a four and normally it would be fine, but I think these are cheaply made.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I will say if you've ever had a break in, character shoes are litucos, it is hard.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: It is hard.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, are you?
- 21:12[SPEAKER_02]: Why did you by Tangerine, neon Tangerine, salsa dancing shoes?
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: They're hilarious.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_02]: The outfit that she's wearing is exactly like an outfit I would have sent on Stitch Vix when I was a stylist for Stitch Vix.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_02]: This is like what, oh, God, it was so hard because everything available was like the same.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was like a sleeveless navy top, polyester, tube skirt, and you would just like send variations.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's what this is.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: I would not have sent the neon tangerines shoes, but that's fine.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: Um, anyway, we find out that Ezra's brother, I forgot as a name for a second, Wes, Wes, Wes or West.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: I guess she's West.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_02]: Wes has been bugging him because Ezra's mother, who we know to be a total freaking joy.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_02]: Does it like Wes's girlfriend and she's in the girlfriend's name is Crystal?
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I know that that's one of the things she doesn't like about it.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_02]: And she's afraid that if Crystal's still with him in the wedding day, I kind of couldn't understand this part.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: And if she is, Ezra is afraid that their wedding photos will be like blacked out a little bit around the house for something.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was he said the word blacked out.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: I was so not, not clear on that.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: So now, Wes is trying to get Ezra to like make a deal, I guess, to get the girlfriend out the wedding, but not have their mom.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_02]: No, I don't know when it doesn't really matter.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_02]: The point is, Ezra's got to go deal with this and as soon as he's leaving,
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: the deep.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: And so she decides to just call FaceTime on speaker phone AD back right now.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: Just in the dance studio, she's like, can I have the room please?
- 22:47[SPEAKER_02]: Can I have the room?
- 22:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, actually kind of smoke in here.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: And and Camille, where do you order it next time?
- 22:51[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe I don't know we tried changing our shoes on the lobby, not in the dance studio.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: All right, thanks guys.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get that ventilation moving.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: She calls the deep fake and holds and the
- 23:06[SPEAKER_02]: and Arya for like the 15th time is like I am done torturing my friends.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: Arya means anything she's like 80's like I don't know I have a gift that I need to be dropped off at Spencer's house and she's like anybody with Spencer and that Hannah go again.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_02]: She goes to Spencer's been through enough.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: No offense, I mean I know she just found out about her mom.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but Spencer seems low key to the role of the about that and pissed about her family.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_02]: What we should, yeah, what we should talk about on the punch well next week is like, who actually had it the worst?
- 23:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like, who really got the shortest end of the stick with A?
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a good idea.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_02]: Because as of now, I mean, look, they've all had crazy shit.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm giving it to Emily or Hannah at this point.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know where the fucking girl is.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, Emily, like, even Ali, like, even though it's all, it is all Ali's fall.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: Hey girls.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know it's hey.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Ali's fault, right?
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: I believe if I'm Emily and point that card every time If I'm Emily and I've heard every time Like in if I'm any of Emily's friends.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like and why are we just Signing on 18 years with this monster Right and Ali's just in New York
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're dealing with any of this.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: She needs a break.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm so glad she didn't remember.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to turn.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so glad she had exactly.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: So Ari is going to have to deliver a gift to Spencer and her family.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: And when Ari pushes back because Spencer has been through too much, A turns up the heat and is like, well,
- 24:35[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe the best man could use some of this and his toes when she pulls up Arya's file, and I forgot about this, but way back when Arya filled out a report that referred to Ezra as a twisted, conniving predator, and that she wanted the Rosewood police to formally charge him for exploiting a teenager when he was in a position of power.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I just want to say, Marlene, very brave of you to remind us.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_02]: There's two moments in this episode where they're a mind as if things that Ezra has done, that I'm like, if I know how this story ends, I'm just not bringing this up again.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: I know I agree.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: If you want us to, we want us to root for them.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: You want him to be the good guy in this moment, and like, we want them to succeed, but you're going to remind me of all this insane shit.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: So she never filed it, but she did fill it out, and Ariya either has to deliver that gift, or I guess A is going to file this, and Ezra will go to jail, and she'll get married,
- 25:29[SPEAKER_02]: And this is episode 17, wow.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_02]: Look at that.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: We got a little goose's loft and fluency knocks on the door and Hannah answers.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: And Hannah, here's what I want to say about the girls.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: They always do this with the police.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: When the police starts asking them questions that they are
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: They're related to them, and they know it, and they're guilty of something.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: They're instinct, they're instinct is to act mean and like subtly defensive in a way that I think they think makes them seem like.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: See, we're confident and we're cool and we're stern and whatever, but I think it just always makes them look more sauce.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I guess like,
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: if I'm giving it the benefit of it out a little bit.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: There is the part of it where it's like, they've been dealing with this for so long that at some point it's like they're on first name basis with these cops.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: They're aware that Spencer is like sleeping with this.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like, the amount of respect I feel that these girls would actually have for the police would be zero just knowing what they know in the history.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_02]: But don't you need to play the game a little bit?
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: Like, do you want to go to jail for murder?
- 26:33[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just fucking pretend.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 26:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like just put on your nice girl act a little bit at the same time girls you are involved in literally every crime that happens in Rosewood can you play in these cops for showing up at your door.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: My thing with these girls though is like they don't say enough times I'm not answering that without a lawyer president president.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm answering that without a lawyer president.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_02]: I can do many things.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: I need a president who was a lawyer and that's all I'll
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know what with our nation, but he wasn't with a lot of them.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't president.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_02]: I know I'm saying how saying you could be Believe me, I believe it.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: But any of you, they also always let them in.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_02]: So at this point, flu's like, can I come in?
- 27:20[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, of course, like, no, you say no.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_02]: You say no, you say no, you say no.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_02]: The other thing I need to say, and like, I immediately I'm just so annoyed to flu's you because he goes, oh, did I wake you up?
- 27:31[SPEAKER_02]: Bitch, she's holding a cup of coffee.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't just wake her up.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: She might be awake.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's like it's the morning.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_02]: She not dressed yet, but she's got a piping hot cup.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: Not everybody in this community.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: Not okay.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: Now you've you've contaminated.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: I've given it to you.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: Not everybody in this community has a murder to solve.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: So she has like just enjoying her morning.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: She's just chill out.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_02]: Like did I wake you up?
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: It just seems so annoying.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like obviously not she looks.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: She looks freaking dropped at gorgeous and she's holding a cup of coffee.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_02]: She didn't make it.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: She wasn't getting into the fucking shower.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: She's ready to get a shower.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so he comes in and he brings up the incident at the Rabley on Thursday, the flooded baseman storage room, and he says there was a witness that saw Caleb and Hannah there that night.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_02]: He goes, he goes, there's a witness that saw you and your friend Caleb, and I just like wanted her to be like, he's actually my boyfriend.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_02]: Like I just thought I would have a better funny moment, boyfriend actually, thank you.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want any confusion about that anymore, okay?
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: Because I've got a little too dicey.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: And he's basically just like, insinuating that they as a major dude with the flood.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: And then she's like, you know what?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: I can't talk about this right now.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm literally right about getting the shower.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: And Caleb comes out and he's like, oh, your turn.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay, great.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: Why didn't you get your shafting like this?
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: I know, so Hannah kind of fills Caleb in and Caleb's like, well, yeah, it's not weird for me to be at the rally.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not surprised anybody saw me there.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: I live there and flusy's like, okay, well, you're also like, why are you living in a hotel?
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: So Hannah explains that her mom manages it and like,
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: offered Caleb a room to upgrade the security system.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_02]: I thought this was stupid.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: Why are you?
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: You're giving more information than you need to.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: You could just be like, he's not from here.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: We're dating.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: My mom owns the hotel and she just gave him a rail.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't think he's that complicated at all.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_02]: You don't need to say that he helped with the security system because all of the things he's going to say is, oh, well, that's funny because the security system you set up was down for 10 minutes.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: The same 10 minutes, the flood started.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I wonder if her logic was like, he probably already knows that.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: I guess, maybe.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_02]: So, Flusi spoke with Ashley Maran last night.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to keep talking to them.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: And he says that we may have lost one item, the receipt, but other compelling evidence has surfaced, which sends Hannah into it.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_02]: Huzzi.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: And then we go to the Hesien'scastle.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: We find out Ali is in New York with Jason and Emily and Spencer organizing a bunch of boxes.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: for the heistings to move to Harrisburg and they're selling the house and everything and Peter comes down and is like, I hope we'll come visit him and then they find Spencer's baby blanket for Leslie.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_02]: But I do have to say, like there are a couple of things that are so funny.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_02]: One is Spencer's like, why did Ali have to go see Jason today?
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like why?
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: I literally invited him to have him.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: Emily snaps.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad she's a new York.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_02]: She needed a break.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: Right because none of you guys would need a break from from it.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: I can't imagine why one of you would need a break and then Spencer's like Okay, well things are only gonna get worse before they get better Emily goes oh no no all the books I've read said the nauseous tops in the second trimester Emily Stop it Baby think honestly for Emily's sake being goodness.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: She has this kid because that's now that's the biggest issue in her life Right now she's like this is nothing try motherhood
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: they being stopped in the orchard by A is bad try try motherhood.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, apparently with all of them doing her own business.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_02]: Alice and Dila weren't just she's gone.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if she's coming back.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: Hell, I don't know how would I know anything about her.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: She turns to leave after she kisses me.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: So like she loves to just leave and come back when she feels like it could be years before I see her my child again.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so the thing about the baby blanket that's interesting is it says property of Rally Sanitarium, and This was a moment because Emily goes was that in a dumpster pile?
- 31:19[SPEAKER_02]: There's like a keep pile for Harrisburg in a dumpster pile.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_02]: She was a that in the dumpster pile, and since you go Yeah, and it seems like Spencer didn't put it there, and it's like What is that?
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just because I'm sure it was Peter that put it there
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't give a shit that it was from Rodley.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's your kid's baby blanket.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: Since there's like a mustard when I was brought home, and it's either you keep it or why do you even still have it.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_02]: You know, if you were hell bent on hiding this and you didn't want Spencer to ever figure it out, we just probably should have disposed of the blanket the day we brought Spencer home.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_02]: And set her up with a nice bear for dreams one and a start.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 31:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like, not that hard, not that hard for her Hastings.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_00]: And so we go to the dealer on to Stungeon and Hannah is for Santa to play that game.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: We need to play that game.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why they got a little quick.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_00]: And she wants another turn badly.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes there's like, girl, it's just not how it works.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_00]: And then Hannah goes, hey, hey, are ya?
- 32:16[SPEAKER_00]: Why haven't you had a turn?
- 32:19[SPEAKER_00]: And Arya's like, um, I don't make the rules hand.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: So Arya has been no position to be as rude as she has to hand out the smallest.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Arya is sitting down.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_02]: I know, and she's, she's just like so annoyed, rolling the eyes when it comes up that she hasn't had a turn.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, I don't know, maybe because I've been through enough.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's like that kind of a, I don't know, man.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe because like, I'm planning a wedding and I know is that expensive and timely and costly and stressful.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God, I'm a best-selling author now.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like,
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: And he would be, but Hannah's really freaking out so much.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, imagine the conversations that she slaps that into.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, I don't even want to.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: So then we hear a noise and, um, Spencer's like, what the fuck was that?
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: Mona comes in and Mona says, it was just me, what did I miss?
- 33:04[SPEAKER_00]: And Spencer says, an invitation?
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's so, Spencer is so furious and nasty.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, an invitation?
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: And Hannah's like, look guys, Mona knows about the game.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, and why is that Hannah?
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: He might as well like punch her to the ground.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: Even Emily.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: Because we need her help.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_02]: But she's brilliant.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_02]: She knows the answer before you even ask the question.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: That's right, Hannah.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Spencer was like,
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: broke out in high.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: I know when she heard that.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, she's brilliant.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_02]: I'm your best friend.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_02]: I went in the golden orchard to remember.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: I went in the golden onion to remember that room.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: What if her future is that's it?
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: They're like, it was for Melissa.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: She goes, did I get caught?
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm talking about, really smart, really sneaky, really smart.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: Mona goes, well, the question is why you waited so long to ask?
- 33:50[SPEAKER_02]: And for that, I have no answer.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: But I love the second Mona comes in and is involved, Arya's like, oh, fuck.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like, Arya recognizes that if Mona's involved, Arya's situation just came very precarious.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think you can do that out, that's her.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's an aspect of it that's that, but I also think she is probably worried that Mona could be the one doing it.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think that that too.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, totally.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_02]: Either Mona is going to find out because she's so smart or Mona already knows because she's on the A team.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_02]: So that would be a scary and Emily tells Mona it's not trivial pursuit.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, there's a missing body and Mona suggests they stop putting their time into the dead body and focus on the living one.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so this has been Arya perks up.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, Oh, you think you know who AD is.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_02]: And Mona says she's a short list.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_02]: It starts with Jenna Marshall and ends with Mary Drake.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: And Spencer just still like can knock it over the fact that Mona has even breathing the same eras her.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, we don't need your theories Mona because as soon as she hears Mary Drake, she's like not my mother.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: Dead!
- 34:51[SPEAKER_02]: Just speak about my mummy and like that, Mona.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's sort of like what she says.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: And then Mona is like, I'm neater of mine, Joe.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: Who keeps getting you out of these fucking masses?
- 34:59[SPEAKER_02]: I replace the windshield that makes me an accessory to your crime.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_02]: And if you think I'm going to leave my fate and your fumbling hands, you've been smoking the drapes.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Mona.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_02]: Got her.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: There was some crazy one-liners in the house.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_00]: What the heck?
- 35:12[SPEAKER_02]: Smoking the drapes mean.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_00]: Getting high.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: I guess.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_00]: But like, what are drapes?
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think it, I mean, like, I know the obvious answer.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: Well, of course, curtains, but I don't mean it's right for me, I don't mean like that.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, like, I never tried smoking curtains before maybe it's crazy.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it's actually a crazy drug that we need to be learning more about.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_02]: OK, smoking drinks is not good, kids, but it's not good.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, at the Radley, Caleb bumps into Ashley, who is back from some sort of trip with a bob.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, sleek as Bob.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I didn't do this.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: I talked this week.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's B.O.B.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_02]: Start calling her Bob.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_02]: Got one of you, the Bob.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_02]: Bob.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_02]: I had a terrible walking out and just like little flips and stuff.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, she looks good.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_02]: And this I hate, though.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_02]: Caleb goes Ashley, Mrs. Maren, and I was like, that kind of interaction is usually saved for like movies where it's like Chad Michael Murray and Jamie Lee Curtis and Freaky Friday, and it's like he's hitting on the mom and then he realizes the mom.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_02]: So I didn't like that, really.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_00]: Amber just sent us something of, sorry, I'm not trying to be distracted, but I just saw the clip and I had to click.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_00]: Um, of Vince and Morgan cut a lean on the bed, of course, like they have been, but then Vince puts his hand like under Morgan shirt and starts like rubbing her arm.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: Are you out of your mind?
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: I could really see Mickey going home.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, we shouldn't talk about this right now.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so Ashley holds Caleb.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_02]: She's concerned she wants to talk to him because she just had a meeting with the Rosewood Police Department and the support staff and they specifically asked that Caleb didn't attend.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_02]: And she asks if he knows about this flood.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, yeah, I heard.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't even know what to do with it.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: Leave it to me.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: and apparently fluency keeps circling back to Caleb because he thinks Caleb did it to protect Hannah and her friends.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_02]: And this part like I am so iffy on me too, I felt the same way.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_02]: This really got me.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how I feel about it because Ashley's like looking my eyes and promise me that Hannah's not an any trouble and she does.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I just don't, I mean, I don't know what you're supposed to do in that situation.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think maybe his reasoning is like,
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: If I tell Ashley anything more, she's going to want to get involved and then she is going to be in more trouble.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_02]: But also she is to cover stuff up then.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like if he says anything to her about Hannah being involved and suddenly all of Ash's interactions with Rosewood PD become secretive, she has to like, oh, I'm at the truth a little bit, you know, like I just Oh, but it's still I just don't like that he looked her in the eyes and lied.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like I just I agree makes me stressed.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: At the Hastings Castle Spencer and VV are packing and VVs on the phone with the realtor and the realtor is like, if you can't take that fucking swing out of your backyard, you have to cut the whole tree down and while you're at it burn the place of the fucking ground we'll redo it.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: I kind of hate the vibe.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's not what she says, it's how she says everything.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like with that shitty smile where she's like, oh, I can't stay.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: I know, and that's funny because I honestly was like, I was watching this scene, you know, intently, because any scene where Ari is interacting with a mother that's not her own.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_02]: I've got my my defense race, but here's the thing I actually thought this wasn't that bad for her which just goes to show how much we fucking hate Arya because even when it isn't that bad of an or an interaction we're like and this just goes to show how deplorable this bitch is like we just go in Exactly and Arya comes in like heroine said with take out but she can't stay and then VV goes upstairs and Spencer starts venting about Mona and Hannah and this is how I know Arya is so
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: like out of character out of sorts right now because she is so wrapped up in her self when what's going on that she starts being nice about Mona oh she's like because Spencer's like I can't believe Hannah would do this I can't believe Mona's involved all the stuff Mona's terrible and are you guys I don't know I um she's like not paying paying attention to Spencer but she says I don't know I mean I think we could try to look out of from Hannah's perspective
- 39:41[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's that honestly I would have been like who are you and what I be done with Ariamank I'm right literally Who was inside of you I would have ripped the silicone mask off our head since I think I know I Sensors are just clawing at our face trying to take off the mask because that was so out of character for her to defend Hannah and She literally means her does she's like
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what does she say ignoring that?
- 40:01[SPEAKER_02]: She doesn't say really anything and then hit so why was it happening though?
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: Arya is connecting this like burner phone to the Hastings blue tooth system like to every speaker in their home She drops the phone in one of the boxes and then she leaves and says she has to go do wedding stuff Literally like the moment she walks over the Hastings threshold the sounds start playing to which I say I know I probably did that on purpose so that Spencer would think oh, that's so weird the second
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: I wish there are multiple times this episode where I was like, wow, like any one of them being a team member with a so out of the realm of possibility to any of them that even these things that should be raising yeah
- 40:43[SPEAKER_00]: warning signals aren't because they're like, well, that's just that, that would never, I would never have been in any of us did.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: So the, the phone's right's playing over the Bluetooth, a conversation that was recorded from years ago, it's Daddy Hastings talking to Mary Drake and they're talking about Jessica's death.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_02]: And at this time, Peter Hastings runs in the room and he's like, what is that?
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: Where is it coming from?
- 41:09[SPEAKER_02]: He's flipping the fuck out searching for the source of this.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like, as he searching for it, he's knocking shit over breaking glasses.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_02]: And what we hear like, I think he says, I think bearing a dead body in my artist's plenty.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_02]: Mary says I didn't have a choice if it wasn't Jessica.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_02]: It would have been me six feet under.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_02]: And then he says six feet isn't deep enough for you.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a very discriminating thing.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: And then VV comes downstairs, while Peter's slipping out, and he says, this is what happens when you open the door to a lunatic, and I want to say, yeah, Arya, this is what happens when you let that trash into our home.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_00]: Truly, um, then once everything's kind of settled down, VB's like, okay, so that's called the police.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: And Peter's like, oh, um, it's okay.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't think I think we're going to let the police.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think everything's all good.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think everything is just a little scare.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'll clean up the glass.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_00]: You just pretend to never happen.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: And Spencer's like, that sounds perfect.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: I know, and Vivi, because Vivi pushes it a little.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, no, no, no, I'm gonna call the police.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_02]: And Spencer's like, Mom, let's not.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, wanna, this episode feels very team Vivi and Spencer versus team Daddy.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: And in this moment, it's like, a kind of rare moment where Vivi is like not gonna ask, but she, if Spencer says no, it's, okay, but if Spencer is saying no, because it would protect her actual mother like Jesus Christ, if so.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think she's saying no because it might she probably already suspects AD, and she doesn't want the piece of the box.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_02]: So, but yeah, Peter thinks Mary Drake planted it in the house.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_02]: So Emily, do you learn?
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_02]: Emily's in the middle of the house.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: I have a tealer in his dungeon, and Mona walks in, and she goes, and makes sure she takes her folic acid.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_02]: And Emily goes, oh, that was Mona.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: She said something about acid.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm just like, sorry Emily, you should know that.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_02]: So only you personality is that you're having a baby and you don't know that she meant folic acid What is she meant?
- 43:06[SPEAKER_02]: She said that she said but also I'm just like something about acid like you couldn't just if you didn't hear the first part You're you're reading all the pregnancy books.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't know folic acid stupid
- 43:23[SPEAKER_02]: So that's another thing by the way from the Amanda Knox show Amanda Knox keeps like hitting her head when she gets upset and like it makes it look like she's like stupid Why did I kill my roommate like that's like the live a
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, she did the rubber durs even I never actually did that.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like in my brain now He's in the bathroom going stupid.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's stupid.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I heard on the microphone.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: Actually So Emily doesn't say that she loves Ali back on the phone, which moment of clocks, of course I was like, you know you can say it in front of me.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: It hasn't been a secret since we were in brownies I caught it
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then we find out that Mona made an appointment with Emily still on the fence about this whole thing and Mona's like, look, I have something you want, the baby daddy.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so you're going to have to deal with me because I made an appointment for the two of us to go through the doctor as a couple tomorrow.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_02]: The fertility doctor who did Allison's procedure, she's just don't you want to know who bank rolled it?
- 44:30[SPEAKER_02]: Because that person might be your baby's daddy, it still takes two on.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_02]: I was so funny, they said, Mona, this is your Emmy contender episode, like here you go Janelle, we did this for you.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's what this entire episode.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just in case they started accepting TV shows at the Tony's.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_02]: She kills it, absolutely.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: So they're going to go tomorrow morning.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, wait, one last thing.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: Mona goes, we're going as a couple.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: dress appropriately.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's like I won't be seeing like no one's gonna believe it if you show up looking like that's no one's gonna believe her couple
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: At the brew, Hannah and Caleb are like stressing about, well, Hannah's really the one stressing about having to talk to Ashley then having to lie to Ashley and she's like, you know, say, Why weren't it talk on my sleep?
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, you don't talk on your sleep and she's like, I do when I do.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_01]: What do I do?
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: And specifically to her, which I thought was so cute.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: Specifically when I lie to my mom and my talk on my sleep.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: So Hannah's like, look, I just, I think I made things worse.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, follow up for you, Hannah, though.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: Why, why would your mom know you were talking to you?
- 45:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're saying it the law for you to know her.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_02]: You don't live with her.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_02]: Did they not have a house anymore?
- 45:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like, is Ashley staying there?
- 45:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's why I keep wondering.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_02]: Because I am like, like, why are none of these girls staying at their homes?
- 45:51[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_02]: So Hannah's like, I think we made things worse with the receipts and Caleb says, well, the important thing is that Spencer's mistake is gone and Hannah's like, no, no, no, because if Spencer can make him mistake like that, just imagine the mistakes that we don't even mean.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: But can you just admit that this wasn't the smartest way to do it because I'm team Hannah here.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: You dumped out the specific receipts that we're going to be needed for the investigation and broke a pipe on top of them.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: It really, like, I don't know what the answer would have been, maybe have Emily go in uniform and like wear a wig and wear her rabbit uniform and go in there and act like she's like, look, I don't know, like something and just get rid of the one receipt, like I know they didn't have time, but it's like if they had a circumvent the 10 minutes, they could have been an option, maybe.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, yeah.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: Like, um, so Ezra comes up with coffee for them.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_00]: This is this is how I know he and Arya are in fact meant to be this I know I agree Caleb goes got anything stronger and as we're goes Are you stressed as well?
- 46:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a lot of it shared Yes, well can you possibly be stressed about I'm the one who's best man might be coming in the island Skype
- 47:04[SPEAKER_02]: He goes, I'm just fucking pissed off because this wedding is supposed to be about me, me and and Arya So it's me about me and Arya and now it's about everybody else and I'm like, yeah, welcome to getting married dude I just you're really gay before within one second of him doing something semi-nice for him Nice for them except you know that they had to pull full pay full price for these lattes.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah
- 47:28[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, and do you guys want to do a Vennmau or do you have cash?
- 47:32[SPEAKER_02]: I have three puts in down.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, you guys just want to give a cash and our D&D and tips are really appreciate it.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, do you need change for my pocket, that's perfect.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: I will have somebody bring you change then.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: Do you want me to follow them with the tip jar?
- 47:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, wow.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_02]: You need, okay, um, didn't know you were hurting like that.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, don't worry about the wedding gift.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_02]: Jesus Christ.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_00]: But he is so flawlessly able to derail the conversation to be immediately about him.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, I just like, I wish we aloped.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_02]: And I just want to remind you, Ezra, you could have.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, you had plans to.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_02]: And then you said, site, site, I got to go to you.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: It was Nicole.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Arya was right.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: Arya had the dress ready.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you guys had the tickets purchase.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you were fully about to do it.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: So then Arya walks into the brew and Ezra says something I've never heard him say before.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_02]: He says, hey, sunshine.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, first of all, she's the opposite of sunshine right now.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_02]: I would be like, hey, dark cloud of gloom noon.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's how I probably would have addressed her in this moment.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_00]: She lives up to that name because they're like, I think Hannah and Caleb and Ezra are all looking at her like, oh, she'll come sit with us for a second.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_00]: Well, of course.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_00]: And she goes,
- 48:43[SPEAKER_00]: Hey guys, I'm like really tired.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just gonna have some stress been a long day.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, how oh, how's it?
- 48:48[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Hannah was woken up by detective fluency this morning, but it's been a long day for you But you know, I'm sure that would prompt it today, but it's been a long day for you Anyway, as we go to that my friends as what a happy bride looks like which is actually a funny
- 49:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this next scene cracked me the hell up, Mona and Emily at Alex.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: Mona's really selling out their handholding.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, there's a little bit of a man.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_00]: Robin and Molly's finger.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_02]: And Molly looks like she wants to crawl out of her skin like about a million different ways.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_02]: Emily's like, oh my god, I'm cheating on Ali.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm literally like, I'm literally like, he's like, Alex and all of my not about this.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_02]: So Mona said, yeah, we have always wanted to kid.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about having a child on our first date.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_02]: And then he asks who's going to carry the child and they both answer for the other person.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_02]: And Mona's like,
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: We were sort of hoping you could know it's like Emily if you aren't going to like act happy to be here at least don't Batch it like at least don't we just stay quite exactly what you're doing she's she is bought she knit and then they're like Mona and Mona's just this is a master class and I'm gonna do that's just how I know Spencer will always be second here to Mona's all right because she is like
- 49:51[SPEAKER_00]: Because Mona has the when Mona is on someone's scent.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't like have to charge full speed ahead at the target Whereas Spencer is like a dog with but like she is like yes, she's gonna act as crazy as she is that that's really what it is Mona can like keep a cool a little Mona's like oh
- 50:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, these degrees, you're pretty young to have all these degrees.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she finds her way end of that combo.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, so naturally, we're a Spencer would have walked in and it would have been obvious she isn't slept in days because she would like smell bad and have to do hair and bags under her eyes and she would be like, I know what you fucking did and then she's like chewing on the desk.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it may be like, okay, ma'am calling the police, it's an active flusy, he's like, come on girl, come on girl.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_02]: And then she goes and like kisses him on the mouth.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, this girl's crazy.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_02]: Take her back to Bradley and they're like, we can.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_02]: And she goes there.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, Mona's not like that.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: So Mona's Mona is comfortable, but collected.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_02]: She goes, oh, well, no wonder you're highly recommended.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_02]: Look at all your degrees.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_02]: And he asks who referred them.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_02]: And they say, Alison Rollins, and then Emily finally does one thing right.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_02]: She says, you may know her as Allison G. Laurentis.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god another thing I just remember saying that full name mom goes you know what Allison day Loren test always makes me think of she always says a day Loren test.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: I was like what she goes That's psychic from real housewives of Beverly Hills and I was like what's her name?
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: She goes Allison's the Laurent does and I was like you know but it is Allison Dubois which I have forgotten And this is how I know mom doesn't listen to what like at the podcast
- 51:27[SPEAKER_00]: And thank God, basically if you remember that deep cut from Beverly Hills, then you'll love our podcast.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and no, she, I think you've got two legs, that's the last time we checked.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_02]: I did that quote for my mom's cracking up.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, you don't even know what I'm talking about when I say that.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so the guys eyes get bright wide, bright wide, brand wide.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: Like what's he up right wide?
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god So Mona goes to understand you're willing to work for an unusual arrangement.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_02]: Oh cash No questions asked and he is panicking.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_02]: He's like get the hot on my office I don't think you're here for the right reasons and Mona says people do things for all sorts of reasons.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_02]: Don't they?
- 52:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure you learned what is this guy's definition of the of the right reason.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_02]: No, I would love so that he could pay off medical school.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to find out and he says you should find another doctor.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, then we're let's just go through this.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_00]: We go to the elevator and Mona stole a magazine from there and Emily's like, nice job.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_00]: What's that kind of fucking get us, Mona?
- 52:31[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, Emily?
- 52:32[SPEAKER_00]: I just literally, I'm cheated on my girlfriend and we got nothing.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just got made physical contact with you.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: I basically made it like happy to first.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know what we're doing now.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: Mona's like, but this is also like Emily, use your fucking brain.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: Mona's like, well, he used his home address for this.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_02]: So we're gonna go to his home.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_02]: And we're gonna go through his fucking mail.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's what we're gonna go to right now.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_02]: Um, meanwhile Hannah is walking around at this.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_02]: What cabin is this?
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a park.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a state park.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, like it's she's like the maintenance shed for a park.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she's trying to one clean up any evidence.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_02]: You might have left behind, but two figure out like what the cops could potential.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, I love you girl.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, I love her.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_02]: Hannah, I love you.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: we are off the rails.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_02]: This, this is not the best use of your time.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_02]: This is not the best use of your time.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_02]: Your people are seeing you here.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm also going to say how many, um, I was saying we were off the rails you and me because I called her own a three times far beyond.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I thought you
- 53:36[SPEAKER_00]: Hannah, how much, I know you're trying to clean up the mess, but how much more of a mess are you making?
- 53:40[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_02]: So she's walking around looking for the shovels that they obviously the girls dug the hole with or whatever.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: And so she's looking for those because she just ditched them and it's like, that was stupid in the moment.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_02]: You should never ditch them here.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_00]: But here's what I will say about this by the end of the episode, what I love about Hannah and Mona's relationship is like,
- 54:04[SPEAKER_00]: Spencer hasn't thought about any of this.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_00]: I know, but Mona thought about it and Hannah.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_00]: She didn't think about it as quickly as Mona.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but she is on the same path as Mona where a Spencer is like she just didn't think about it.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_02]: Now, obviously I'm like assuming this is like Mona's doing the right thing and I'll throw on thing and they kind of don't want us to know in this episode, like why feel like when they go to that end scene, spoiler, we see that Mona has gotten all the shovels already.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_02]: When we go there, it's not immediately clear that she's doing it to help Hannah, although I trust my girl and I know that's what's happening.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like I love that Hannah hadn't thought about it yet.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_02]: things about it, Mona has not only already thought about it, she's taken care of it, and she didn't bother stressing Hannah out with it.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_02]: That is the, that is the, it's been been doing it.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_00]: Spencer would have turned it into Hannah's problem.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I can't believe you didn't think about getting the shop.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_02]: And if Arya was doing it, Arya would be like, hey, just sending you a selfie of what I'm doing for you.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like, Arya would have been like, when are you guys going to pay me for this labor?
- 55:08[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it would have been a really fun
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I she's like you guys have to pay for couples therapy because I had to talk to somebody there and it was a man and as I don't know what I was just going to think about it.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_02]: So now can you also pay for a few sessions of couple therapy?
- 55:22[SPEAKER_00]: So we were going to see if I know me no sub-dricline.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's fine.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no sub-dricline.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_02]: No, I don't what my mom looks for my major transactions on them.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_02]: Oh
- 55:28[SPEAKER_02]: Um, anyway, I don't know why I'm just adding in all these crazy things, but that's just something I love about Mona and Anyway, while Hannah's looking for the shovels, this guy is like there kind of helping her who works.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_02]: He's like a grounds to burn.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_00]: I love when they give Ashley these interactions with people.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're like, hey, it's giving season one when she works at the dentist office and she just accuses these little like,
- 55:50[SPEAKER_02]: back and forth with yeah people of authority we're feeling like who's like the nicest teen like who will be the nicest to the position of authority that we get put in a scene handle sorry Emily it is Hannah cuz Emily acts too squirrely in cagey yes yes yeah I mean it can come off as rude if you don't know I agree it's like when there's a really polite kid but they're really shy and it's like well everyone doesn't know that you're super polite right now because they actually think you're being rude because you're
- 56:20[SPEAKER_02]: category.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe, but you're generally friendly.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_02]: Emily is no idea what she looks like when she's walking around.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I know that Emily is friendly and I know that she's like a great friend of my element helping all those things, but to a random passerby, she's not the most approachable.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_02]: No, definitely not.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_02]: And sorry, Hannah, she probably wouldn't be the most approachable, just given like who she was supposed to be in the pilot, you know, like she should be the least approachable.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: but she's not anyway.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_02]: Um, okay.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_02]: So Hannah finds out from this man that the shovels were already confiscated and the police are running tests apparently.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_00]: And with that, Hannah is gone.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_00]: Hannah's out.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_00]: He turns around hoping to hope over their car and she's literally our
- 57:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, um, so at the barn Spencer is looking through the boxes that they were packing up earlier in the main house, um, on the Hastings grounds and Spencer finds the phone in the boxes and Spencer calls are yet to be like, yes, when I fucking found.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: Can't believe someone wants to blow up my family.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_00]: I love when they do this in the scenes with Arya when once Arya has done something and then the girls are like, I can't believe this fucking cold Black.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like the last scene when they're like, what kind of fucking monster would do this disgusting thing to this nursery like it just horrible and same thing now.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_02]: Some of you are like at least at least the paint looks vegan.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_00]: Right and the leather on the gloves on the mobile mobile.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's fake.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_02]: So how much monster can they really be there?
- 57:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I mean at least they've got some other priorities right Also, it's funny because like Spencer is talking to Arya and she's like I've called Arya as like I've called you five times.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_02]: Why haven't you picked up?
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: Arya, you're in literally no position to be like demanding smudger to answer her phone, look what you've just done, and since her goes, I'm looking at a burner phone that was hidden in a box that basically just blew up my whole family, and I just want to say, hey, to say it's fence, that ship is kind of sealed.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_02]: Your family has kind of been blown up for a while, I don't know.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like, since you're a rival, I would argue, kind of blown up.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_00]: So Ari asks what happened and she explains to her what happened because I don't think Ari a new exactly what was going to happen So she I think she's curious to know what exactly she did.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and Spencer's like my family thing It was Mary which Spencer's having a really hard time understanding because she's like I have this letter from her Then it's a tie every time I look at it and then there's like this monstrous other side of her allegedly This is her
- 58:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, and she's like, you know what, I'm going to tell him I'm up a game because otherwise, like, she's going to call the police and I was like, no, let's, let's get Mona a chance to figure this out.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_02]: And that is, if you were really a smart as you say, you are, you would have been like, once again, bring some of my thoughts and do like, huh?
- 59:08[SPEAKER_00]: Was Spencer so overcome with rage that's, yeah, that Arya would suggest that Mom and I could have figured out, and Spencer can exactly.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to rely on she'd rather see us behind bars and Arya out of character reminds her that Mona has taken before and like don't tell Phoebe anything and then Ezra comes in and Arya hangs up.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_00]: Ezra is in hopes to cheer her up and is like, I think I found our first dance song.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_00]: If I was something in media that I've always kind of.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_00]: Not understood, and maybe I'm wrong because obviously I've never picked out a first dance song, but like I feel like it's kind of for most people to get unspoken thing like it's not like I found this song yeah that is going to be our song that has nothing to do with the fabric of our relationship right and then also like the song that he played I was just like I thought it was going to be sky full of stars by quote play at first and then it wasn't
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_02]: But I just I was just like this isn't doesn't feel like a song that as robot of chosen.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_02]: And most of like, there seems like a pretty easy answer.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_00]: The fry.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly exactly exactly.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to they're going to get a jukebox and the only playable song on it at the wedding is B26.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly, and they're like the only key you can press is that which guys rest in peace The tavern jukebox died.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_00]: No way in they replaced it with everybody who had your breath Touch tuned Oh That is really sad with the day at least keep the like physical jukebox as like a little bit get rid of it.
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_02]: Why
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they had a space for it.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_00]: I should have all of the shots to go up and like... I don't have the full story yet, but I saw it on Instagram that it's gone.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's really sad.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's really sad.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, I also have just like no fans, like why would Ezra choose the first dance, but I'm pretty sure Arya would... Arya's like, I feel like he wrote a song as a... Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: None of whom knows where time goes.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_01]: Is that the song?
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want that she doesn't know, and then we come up with a showhouse rock.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_00]: No, it is, and I'm joking.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_00]: Imagine how many weeks are from her dream and she's like, she's like, Z. Z. Z. She wakes up, she's like, I've got it.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_00]: Hear me out.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: She'll house rock, kind of funny, kind of tongue-in-cheese.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, and we do, we do a little bit of this, we little bit of a hot, how do you, and you have a little orange jump suit just for the dance?
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_02]: Just for the dance and a black dog.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_00]: All the dance?
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's all a joke, it's all a joke.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_02]: So he's talking about the song that he's considering an Ari goes, please don't make me dance right now.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_02]: I was giving, don't make me sing.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, well, we just like sway or we can just listen and she looks so miserable.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_02]: It goes, you hate it.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, no, it's just, and this is when he says, you're just having second thoughts about everything else.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I just can't understand my area of surprise that he thinks this.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_02]: Ari, I look at your behavior the past few days.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_02]: You don't think that he might think you're having, if I were him, I would think you were cheating on me.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_02]: The way that you're hanging up, you're all crazy when something, you know, she basically is.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_02]: She's cheating on him with AD, essentially.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, oh, so that's good point.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, so that's what you were talking about to sponsor, right?
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, look, I get it.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_02]: There are things that have been done that can't be undone and can't be forgiven, and I'm just like, Ari, it seems like Pist that it seems like as her might postpone or call off the wedding right now.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_02]: And he goes, you still have doubts about me about whether you can trust me or not, maybe there's a part of you that still hasn't forgiven me for using you and your friends for my book.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_02]: And I wrote, oh, that will make sense.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_00]: See, like, that's the least of it.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_02]: Also, why are we in such a rush to get married?
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like, after everything is going on, like, why don't you guys just wait, like, is the Nicole so just cleared up now?
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I like how he isn't.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_02]: You should just wait until the book tour or whatever is over.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_02]: And then get married how you want to and then go a loop and Italy or whatever.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_02]: Like it doesn't have to be.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_02]: And it sounds like you don't make everything easier.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like I don't know why they're rushing it like this.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_02]: But she tells her that they are actually strong.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_00]: Because they might be the strong.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_02]: So she's exactly something a groomer would say.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_02]: And she hugs him and it seems like she's not sure.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would say that he seems castle right over the moat fluzzy follow Spencer like Spencer comes out of the gate and fluzzy comes out of the car He's been waiting there on.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_02]: I love Europe says I love I love Spencer's Constant reminders to him that they've had sex like our constant like and I'll tell everyone I'm fluzzy
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_00]: She is well, but she's also like I feel like there's part of her.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's bank.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, maybe if I remind him enough, you'll remember how good it was and he's going to be like Spencer.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_02]: I just can't quit you like that's what's going to happen.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_02]: She looks and she goes, when did we go from dating to stalking?
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_00]: Spencer.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_00]: You stole from his house.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_00]: Spencer.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_02]: And he says they went and we go from dating to literal murder and theory.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_02]: He's here to do a follow-up.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_00]: Which and she's like, okay, then why aren't we at the fucking police station?
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't understand this next part.
- 1:04:20[SPEAKER_02]: He goes, I thought you might be embarrassed to come down first of all when she ever been
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_02]: There were times she showed up but embarrassed to come down and she wasn't.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_02]: So why would she be embarrassed now?
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_02]: And he goes, well, I hadn't realized if we're talking with Ashley that Spala was ever a thing.
- 1:04:34[SPEAKER_02]: Hashtag Spala, any name dropped it.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_02]: I love it since her goes, why would that be embarrassing?
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, as if he's like, oh, cannot believe, I just, I just didn't pack you.
- 1:04:44[SPEAKER_00]: You said you pack you for someone who would want to like, be with a nerd.
- 1:04:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'll take no boy to wait.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, yeah, he's homeless.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_02]: I learned today, he doesn't have anywhere to live.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_02]: Just kind of weird.
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_00]: But you kind of into like super hot, super muscular, super fit, super like, I was getting from you and I don't even know if he's a little guy.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to want to tell me.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_02]: I would, too, if I just had a computer all day, but I'm active.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm actually, I'm out there, an active crime scenes, chasing criminals, like use months are like real.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_00]: And this is where Spencer says, okay, we're kind of blurring the lines between
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_00]: flirting, but she's basically man as well.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, we're blurring the lines between personal and business.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, it would be a shame if someone found out about that because I know how important the letter of the law is to go.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_02]: Seriously, you uphold the law.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_02]: And so she starts to leave and fluzy asks.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, is this what this was all about?
- 1:05:30[SPEAKER_02]: He goes, did your interest in me have anything to do with you needing a pop in your corner, which like, Spencer, you can't mad at him for thinking that because that is like your whole life.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm like, what if that's like his whole thing?
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_02]: Was any of it real?
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_00]: I just, like, can't get past the past the fact that maybe you didn't actually like me.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_02]: Was any of us real?
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the, did you get the,
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_02]: So spends a week there waiting to know that I love this to a power move.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_02]: She goes to Lee if she goes to get in the car and then She's like, you know what?
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_02]: This is my fucking house and she stops it doesn't get in the car and looks at him And just like waits for him to get in his car drive away before she even gets in her car She knew it was just like a good little power move.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_02]: I thought But then she must have a good little
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, in Mary Drake does the thing that scares every woman more than anything in the world.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_02]: No Mary Drake and this is how I know you're on a girl's girl.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_02]: You're not a feminist clearly.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_00]: We've been no about that because like Okay, okay, though whole thing with jazz.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, okay, I know you hear but like
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_02]: You can't just kill your sister, you can't just believe me, believe me, I've looked into it, just kidding.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_00]: You can't just like get pregnant with like your sister's kid and like think that everything's going to be okay.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_02]: Also like, look, I am, I am not a daddy Hastings apologist in any way.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's hot, but that's the only thing he is going for in my opinion.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_02]: But what I do need to say is like Mary Drake, if you were pretending to be somebody else, like that is like great.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_02]: Like he didn't consent to have sex with you.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, another reason that I mean, if I was her, I would just like, yes, I'm mad at my father for having in a fair, but I'm also so mad at this moment for like doing this to my mother and
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I have to think about myself and how I, yeah, there's earth.
- 1:07:33[SPEAKER_00]: I just thought in today's episode about, like, spent, like, Spencer being a kid and doing something and people around Veronica being like, Oh, she is so her mother's daughter, like, saying things about, like, I don't think about her.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_00]: how common like what they had in common and the things that seem like jeans passed down like she got back in her mother and Veronica beat and also like how lonely that must have been because you know Peter didn't want to ever fucking talk about it or like and I feel like his family really believes in therapy you know like I said I certainly feel sorry.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_02]: especially with this being the origin story like yeah it I have a lot of compassion for VV and I know that obviously Spencer is so close to this but like it does surprise me the lack of empathy Spencer's able to have for her mom like in this you know what I mean
- 1:08:28[SPEAKER_00]: I agree a little bit anyway.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_02]: So now I know I'm guessing Spencer wishes that she had gotten in the car before Flusy because as we said Mary Drake is in the back seat puts her hand over Spencer's mouth and tells her to drive Like Mary if you want to have a good relationship with Spencer don't fucking do shit like this is not just texture Just texture call or put it a fucking note in her car your sister drives to the loss with his or Mary tells her to park
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_02]: Mary wants to go inside to talk in Spencer wants to stay outside and Mary goes then she's like I'm not sad that it's me you're frightened of girl what did you fucking think what happened she had through this last thing you just did exactly this is like can you like give me a reason not to be scared um and brings up the phone in the house
- 1:09:10[SPEAKER_02]: Mary says she didn't plant it, but she is glad when she heard it and that the hospital must have recorded it because she didn't even know.
- 1:09:16[SPEAKER_02]: And she says the hospital has done a lot of heinous things and Spencer goes, yeah, and so have you.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_02]: And her goes, don't judge.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm judging you.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually judging you, Paul.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like Mary has this false sense of security with Spencer because they both were inradly.
- 1:09:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, and she's a completely misinterpreting the relationship, but like, is she because Spencer has been like mummy like writing passing notes back and forth with her like I guess TV you're not my real mom like I want to I want Mary he's just
- 1:09:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I had one redeeming line later.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get there and I was like, OK, this is your one gold star that I'll give you.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:09:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's also interesting because Mary says you'd be surprised that things you have to do sometimes to protect yourself.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, is she saying this, knowing Ari, I've planted it.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_02]: And that, like, may be a sponsor.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_02]: We'll remember this and forgive Ari a later.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_02]: We know she will, and all that she should.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_02]: So we got a flashback.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's Mary and Hastings Castle with Daddy, VV had taken the girls away back in her more like go more haircut.
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, exactly.
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, the wig.
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_02]: So Peter's like, well, this is the last time you're ever going to be a lot of my house and you're never going to see Spencer.
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_00]: And this is where you just see the level of delusions because Mary Drake I think thought that they were going to like cuddle up by the fire place and reminisce about like their Trist and how amazing their daughter is and if not what she definitely thought she was going to like get Visitation rights dispenser or something like take her for weekends
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, I don't want to be robbed of Spencer.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's the only good thing I've ever done.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_02]: And Daddy's like, so what was good about it?
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_02]: Which I am like, hey, daddy, Spencer.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_02]: But it is like, yeah, he's like, well, you tricking me into thinking you were Jessica or you trying to take me and Jessica down, like you're not taking Spencer.
- 1:11:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I will say the actress who plays Jessica Mary.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_02]: her eyes she's she's a great actress her she gets these crazy eyes and then Jessica walks into the house and we find out she's the person we already knew but she's the person who signed the papers to put Mary Drake in a straight jacket and Jessica is like obviously coming in here but rendezvous with daddy and it's horrified to see Mary standing there she thought that they were taking care of this and now we're back in the car so yeah Mary Drake was meant to be the one who who died not
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_02]: Not just hills that stopped Jessica's heart.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_02]: We're meant to stop marries because They have the same DNA and the same medical conditions, but I'm like does that make sense?
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if that's really true.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_00]: I know it was like I'm talking about twins.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's a carbon copy of Yeah, I know twins.
- 1:11:45[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly real different, you know So Peter supplied Jessica with the best twins arguably do act differently But yes, these ones I don't know there's something about them.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_02]: They act a little bit different
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_02]: There's just something different about the do of them.
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, Peter supplied Jessica with the meds.
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_02]: And they were supposed to use them for Mary and then Mary intercepted them a quote, stood up to my bully.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_02]: And then she pulls them on me, Clark.
- 1:12:13[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, I have been cheated out of so much most of all knowing you.
- 1:12:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like, maybe you should just stay with me.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
- 1:12:19[SPEAKER_02]: I can just spoil me.
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's giving mother Gothel.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, you have to take a crazy down your neck.
- 1:12:24[SPEAKER_02]: What did it be nice to finally be free?
- 1:12:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like, hey, I like him breathing down my neck.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm actually a free.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm actually a free cabin you heard.
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_02]: And I wonder where I got that from.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I wonder when we're inside of the family got that from.
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_02]: kind of freakish.
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_02]: You wanted to hear my dad scream your sister.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_00]: Mary's like, tell me yours, call me that.
- 1:12:41[SPEAKER_03]: Don't call me a bitch.
- 1:12:47[SPEAKER_02]: In the room for dirt and bread.
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_02]: And we were like, okay, this is this is the same cross over.
- 1:12:54[SPEAKER_02]: Up until now, even like take it or leave it.
- 1:12:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of weird, but not so good.
- 1:12:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's really drives away.
- 1:13:00[SPEAKER_00]: Well, she leaves Mary drink on the side of the road rush.
- 1:13:02[SPEAKER_00]: She's going.
- 1:13:03[SPEAKER_02]: Janine Piro, and it sounds like, who is that, like, that was happening.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, Arya is at the loft, stressed.
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_00]: And AD text Arya, good job.
- 1:13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Looks like I see her true freaking colors.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_02]: Did she say H bomb?
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I think that's like something that I don't understand.
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he's the hydrogen bomb.
- 1:13:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's, yeah, maybe that's what she means.
- 1:13:27[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's a double-on condor.
- 1:13:29[SPEAKER_02]: You've shown your own words.
- 1:13:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, maybe that's what she meant.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_02]: And so, as just like you want butter on the popcorn, I'm like, okay, so things are just good now.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_02]: You guys made up, things are fine.
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_00]: I never want to be in a relationship or that's a question.
- 1:13:41[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_02]: Of course I want to put it on.
- 1:13:43[SPEAKER_02]: Are you like as a vegan?
- 1:13:44[SPEAKER_02]: You should know this.
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, are you going to use that?
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_02]: And be like, we shouldn't be getting married.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_02]: You should know that.
- 1:13:49[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Lucas' loft, Caleb is setting the table saying we're going to have a romantic evening, um, and Hannah comes in the house and she is fucking pissed and immediately starts ranting.
- 1:13:59[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, I'm pissed about the shovels.
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_02]: I just been four hours having Lucas' car detailed and Ashley Marin and her
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's another thing that I feel like is it's a tally on the list of things that Hannah I think you I think you think you're helping yourself, but having they got for a murder investigation Having any sort of detailing on your car is kind of a red flag just watch hunting wives till he there you go Did you finish no?
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know what you do.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well, so Ashley walks in the room and she and Hannah have a really sweet, reuniting moment.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_02]: Caleb ordered food.
- 1:14:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to go pick it up, Ashley brought wine, and she did hear Hannah complaining and she asks why she was detailing Lucas's car and he has like, oh, it's, you know, it's been my office on wheels, it's disgusting.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_02]: And then Hannah tells Ashley that like Emily is kind of moved in with Allison and Ashley assumes that that would be so that Caleb and Hannah could live together.
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm actually, I know that Ashley's more curious what's going on with Caleb and Hannah, but if I have known Emily and Allison, they're whole lives.
- 1:14:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, and I'm gonna love you, and then together, I'm like, wait.
- 1:15:01[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 1:15:02[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, is it Blioca?
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's Pam, you know?
- 1:15:07[SPEAKER_02]: So Ashley's like, okay, Caleb, what are your intentions with my daughter?
- 1:15:11[SPEAKER_02]: Why are you back in Hannah's life?
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_02]: Did she need your help with something?
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_02]: And this?
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, stop it.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_01]: He goes, oh, that's gonna make me cry.
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_02]: It means cry a little bit too.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_02]: His eyes are welling up and he goes, well, I'm actually here because I needed Hannah's help.
- 1:15:25[SPEAKER_02]: We needed to figure some things out, like how we felt about each other.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_02]: We drifted apart for a little while and we almost ended up with other people which would have been a disaster because I would have spent the next 50 years of my life kicking myself for losing the best thing that's ever happened to me.
- 1:15:42[SPEAKER_02]: I can't imagine my life without Hannah.
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to.
- 1:15:46[SPEAKER_02]: Ashley goes, what are you saying?
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_02]: He says, I want to marry your daughter, Mrs. Maran.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_02]: No bells or whistles, just the two of us.
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_02]: Exchanging vowels.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_02]: And finally, I mean, that's a call back to earlier.
- 1:15:56[SPEAKER_00]: He got a little bit inspired by what Ezra said.
- 1:15:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm just talking about.
- 1:16:00[SPEAKER_00]: Just a little bit of it.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_00]: Just, yeah.
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_00]: But like, there's something just so much better about this.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_02]: But anything as we ever saw the whole wedding planning with Jordan and Hannah, it was like, although on the surface it seemed so Hannah to have the big wedding celebrations and the shower and all those things like at the end of the day, I think that's too Hannah, they love in that way.
- 1:16:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like you look back at her relationship with Sean even and it's like there was so much pomp and circumstance and I think a lot of it is like,
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_00]: This is kind of what it is.
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think with Sean, it was like this is this is everything that she should be doing.
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_00]: She's the egg girl.
- 1:16:34[SPEAKER_00]: She's being recorded back the basketball play, whatever and then all this like their prom king and queen.
- 1:16:40[SPEAKER_00]: It needs to be everything that this isn't that she meets Caleb and that completely gets turned on a child.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then I think as she gets older.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think she expects herself to be able to get lost in that right part of herself that might feel like how she felt with Sean, but I think that's kind of like what happened with Jordan and it's like, yeah, well, this is what it makes sense that I want the big wedding.
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_00]: It makes sense that I have this hot fiance who's Australian and rich and all this stuff.
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_00]: It makes sense on paper, but then Caleb comes back into her life and it's like, but I don't really want that if it's not Caleb.
- 1:17:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, everything means nothing if I ain't got you as Alicia Keys said.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_02]: No, Hannah, literally.
- 1:17:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I like trying things but I'd marry you with paper ring.
- 1:17:21[SPEAKER_01]: Stop it, stop it, stop it, we're gonna get there, stop it.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_02]: But I completely agree with you and I think part of it she was like Caleb making the decision to leave that part of her life at that time.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like I feel like for her, she was just like, okay, well, you know what?
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_02]: This worked for a little bit of time, but like this is who I am and he doesn't fit into who I am.
- 1:17:42[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, well, the truth is that part of you.
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_02]: It might be who you are, but it's going to look a little bit different than that.
- 1:17:48[SPEAKER_02]: It isn't that version.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_02]: If you have to try so hard to fit into this part of your life, then that isn't the part of your life that isn't supposed to be it.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean, does that make sense?
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_02]: But I think, yeah, and she was so obsessed with being the girl, wanting to be like Ali, Ali made sure that Hannah was always thinking about how she wasn't that.
- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_02]: And it was the worst thing that could possibly happen for Hannah was to not be the beautiful
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_02]: So I think in times of uncertainty like Caleb leaving her and her not knowing what comes next or where to go, she always says that to fall back on like that framework because she knows how to be the girl and so she can fall back into that and she can fake it and she can probably be relatively happy as long as she's not reminded of like what she's missing out on which Caleb reminds her of.
- 1:18:35[SPEAKER_00]: And Ash says, well, now we've got something to toast.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_02]: It just any canus tearing up.
- 1:18:40[SPEAKER_02]: And she's like the sweet moment.
- 1:18:41[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it was just so sweet.
- 1:18:43[SPEAKER_02]: And here we are.
- 1:18:44[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God.
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 1:18:47[SPEAKER_02]: You just take us through it.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my God.
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_02]: So, could you, did you gasp?
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, yeah, baby, I gasped.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_02]: I had a lot of reactions to this scene.
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_02]: This scene got me so off guard.
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_02]: And at first, okay, so we see Arya.
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_02]: She's in Black and White, as we know she likes to be.
- 1:19:08[SPEAKER_00]: This is how I love the idea that Arya dreams strictly of Black and White.
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_02]: In Black and White, I know, literally in film noir.
- 1:19:15[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody throws a book at her and she's in a jail, okay?
- 1:19:19[SPEAKER_02]: But she's not a prisoner.
- 1:19:20[SPEAKER_02]: She's not wearing a jumpsuit.
- 1:19:21[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, please make this a Chicago crossover.
- 1:19:24[SPEAKER_02]: Please go to the right here.
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_02]: So, six, like I would have just fucking loved that.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_02]: But of course, no, we get jailhouse rock, sung by one Mona Vander wall.
- 1:19:32[SPEAKER_02]: And let me just say, homegirl tears it up.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_02]: She sounds amazing, good for you.
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_02]: This is the musical number, you deserved.
- 1:19:39[SPEAKER_02]: Because remember, you know, she fainted when she was auditioning for the choir, so, right?
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_00]: No, so she didn't get her approval.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_00]: I forgot that.
- 1:19:45[SPEAKER_00]: We, or you, that's kind of smooth.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's made of you.
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you know, you might not be a star in real life,
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_02]: you're on the big screen.
- 1:19:52[SPEAKER_02]: You are, you're a star.
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_02]: So Mona's the Jailkeeper also, which makes total sense.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_02]: And Jail House Rock starts playing, Mona is singing it.
- 1:19:59[SPEAKER_02]: And this is not just Mona say it's a full Jail House musical number.
- 1:20:03[SPEAKER_02]: We have we have Cory Yagriffy.
- 1:20:05[SPEAKER_02]: We have I guarantee we have the same dancers from that opening salsa scene are now in this scene as well.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't get our main for our buck and that's why they said, all right, if we're going to start with the dancing scene, we got to get it.
- 1:20:15[SPEAKER_02]: We got to get our monies, we're paying them
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_02]: And the dance is kind of iconic, and also Ezra is being beaten to a pulp.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_02]: He has black eyes, people are throwing him down steps, people are punching him in the face, and Arya is being let around, oh, it turns out this is your wedding.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_02]: This is being married, you're going to marry him.
- 1:20:32[SPEAKER_00]: She's going to wear the paper veil to the paper.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly, exactly.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_02]: And so she's walking up these steps, okay, to meet her maker who happens to be,
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_02]: VV Hastings.
- 1:20:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure why VV Hastings is going to be marrying Ezraia today and Aria looks at her and apologizes to her and VV says, you're just a selfish little bitch.
- 1:20:54[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_00]: Could you fucking believe that?
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, baby, okay, they said it couldn't be done, but we just fit a lot of words on my big toenail
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't even really know because your toenail tattoos, but I just got a tattoo on me.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_02]: Phoebe?
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_02]: Phoebe?
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_02]: I forgot how about her because it's been a second but I just got a tattoo on me.
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_02]: I just got a tattoo on me on my big toe and it says, hang on, it says, this is your just a selfish little bitch.
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't be this.
- 1:21:41[SPEAKER_01]: So on you if you were on fire.
- 1:21:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 1:21:43[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 1:21:45[SPEAKER_02]: It says, you're just a selfish little bitch or would you piss on you if you were on fire on my big toe and it's hard to read and it's in American type right here Oh my god, I need a pedicure stop.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_02]: I need a pedicure stop.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_02]: I need a pedicure.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_02]: What if they can't paint over it?
- 1:22:02[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, what if they can't in this toe?
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_02]: Oh great.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay, I just started a nail art trend.
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god Holy shit
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well, let me tell you.
- 1:22:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't got much more space.
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_02]: I do not.
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_00]: I got I got to believe if you won't say shit.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm on a breath.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_02]: That was a really painful touch.
- 1:22:19[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:22:20[SPEAKER_02]: Don't recommend getting co-nail touches.
- 1:22:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's all you have to say is I got new tattoo on me and it's a bit of a tattoo and I don't recommend it.
- 1:22:28[SPEAKER_02]: But kind of worth it for this line.
- 1:22:30[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, ah!
- 1:22:30[SPEAKER_02]: Wait!
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay, okay, that one was quicker.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_02]: It just says hyphen VV.
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm our pinky toe.
- 1:22:43[SPEAKER_02]: All right, the rest is still in written.
- 1:22:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's my new tattoo is not me.
- 1:22:48[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, VV.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_01]: Holy shit.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_01]: Holy shit.
- 1:22:54[SPEAKER_02]: So then are you wakes up?
- 1:22:58[SPEAKER_02]: and she has a tattoo on her.
- 1:23:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, she's a tattoo on her, but it's on her big toe.
- 1:23:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's not on her big toe.
- 1:23:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually a trampoline, and this is the same thing that VB said.
- 1:23:08[SPEAKER_02]: And she went through my wedding, and it's like, are you planning on getting married in, slut?
- 1:23:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of a Spencer's thing.
- 1:23:13[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so back to the show.
- 1:23:17[SPEAKER_02]: All right, I'll make up.
- 1:23:17[SPEAKER_02]: She fell asleep by watching a black and white film.
- 1:23:19[SPEAKER_02]: All that makes sense.
- 1:23:20[SPEAKER_02]: What did she freaking expect?
- 1:23:22[SPEAKER_00]: Of course you're going to have a friend.
- 1:23:24[SPEAKER_00]: AD has texted her and said, uh, you've waited long enough.
- 1:23:29[SPEAKER_00]: You're a word is downstairs in the bruise.
- 1:23:31[SPEAKER_00]: So she goes downstairs to the in business.
- 1:23:34[SPEAKER_00]: Open the function.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_02]: Lively through lively pop and when she starts tearing apart.
- 1:23:40[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely, she's going through every single book and she and I like that she takes the book that Ezra Roe and she's like Waving it around as she does She was extra time with without one and then she's just yeah She's looking everywhere so we're back at the doctor's office Emily and Mona have returned because they told the doctor
- 1:24:00[SPEAKER_02]: We really feel like we've finished our interview.
- 1:24:03[SPEAKER_02]: We have a statement from you, paying off medical school in one night.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_02]: We have what you want, now give us what we want.
- 1:24:10[SPEAKER_02]: Tell us the name of Allison's donor daddy, or who handed you the cash.
- 1:24:14[SPEAKER_02]: He says he's in half names as all handed electronically, but he can give them the donor's ID number and the girls are satisfied with this.
- 1:24:20[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_00]: So at the barn, Spencer walks in, Pete and Vivi have found Mary Drake's letter.
- 1:24:26[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_00]: This is, like, Caroline was saying, well, Vivi's already seen it, right?
- 1:24:32[SPEAKER_02]: Or no, she didn't.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_00]: Vivi did, but she didn't say anything about it.
- 1:24:36[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you know what I mean?
- 1:24:37[SPEAKER_02]: Where Spencer was asleep and it was like, in her hand, but did Vivi need it?
- 1:24:40[SPEAKER_02]: Or did she just leave it?
- 1:24:40[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember.
- 1:24:41[SPEAKER_00]: No, I think she did read it, and then she left it there.
- 1:24:43[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that it's this moment, like you were saying, like,
- 1:24:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think now VVs have been going through this alone for so long and it's much harder for her to shove it under the carpet than it is for Peter.
- 1:24:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I think that it probably almost feels like wow now I can like share this.
- 1:25:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't have to be going through this alone anymore.
- 1:25:03[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think that's, that's why she wouldn't have told Peter about it and that's why she wouldn't, if she had confronted Spencer about it, it would have driven a wedge further between them and I don't think that's a VV1's right now, but now she's like I think her swim, like your readers pissed about it, so she has to be.
- 1:25:18[SPEAKER_02]: And it's that moment, even though she's not.
- 1:25:20[SPEAKER_02]: VV's making it very clear, like, I'll choose the kids.
- 1:25:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm not.
- 1:25:24[SPEAKER_02]: If it came down to it, it wouldn't be you.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_02]: And just very obviously on Spencer side.
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_02]: And Spencer asks him, like, OK, did you do it?
- 1:25:35[SPEAKER_02]: Did you try to kill Mary?
- 1:25:36[SPEAKER_02]: And he says, did I try to protect my family from a deranged sociopath who wanted a shot of her lives?
- 1:25:40[SPEAKER_02]: Hell, yes!
- 1:25:41[SPEAKER_02]: And I do it again!
- 1:25:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think you're the same thing if you're in the same position.
- 1:25:45[SPEAKER_02]: Spence.
- 1:25:45[SPEAKER_02]: and then he walked up.
- 1:25:47[SPEAKER_02]: Spencer, and this was crazy.
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_02]: The realtor is going to be pissed.
- 1:25:51[SPEAKER_02]: VV Hans went to the letter and goes, by the way, start unpacking.
- 1:25:54[SPEAKER_02]: We're not going to Harrisburg.
- 1:25:55[SPEAKER_02]: But it is sad because she's like, well, oh, this was really, really sad.
- 1:25:59[SPEAKER_02]: I can't really go be in the Senate for fitting my Senate seat, and Spencer's like, but you're not guilty.
- 1:26:06[SPEAKER_02]: She says, yeah, I'm not guilty, but I'm married to someone who is, and I just, she doesn't want to live in fear, which is, it's really sad.
- 1:26:11[SPEAKER_02]: She's going to miss out on the computer.
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_02]: Fucking daddy Hastings.
- 1:26:14[SPEAKER_02]: So she goes to leave and Spencer stops her and she's like, I need you to know, Mary is not the one.
- 1:26:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like Spencer just let this go.
- 1:26:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Mary's not the one who brought the recording into the house and VV says who did.
- 1:26:26[SPEAKER_02]: And I was wondering, I'm like, did Mary tell Spencer like we didn't see it, but in this moment, Spencer doesn't answer a VV.
- 1:26:32[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I think I brushed over this earlier in the episode, Spencer says something about
- 1:26:37[SPEAKER_00]: Spencer calls VV her mom to Mary and she goes, oh, sorry.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_00]: And Mary says she is your mother.
- 1:26:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that might have also been something that Spencer.
- 1:26:45[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, maybe that way has a half way.
- 1:26:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sorry.
- 1:26:48[SPEAKER_00]: I was confusing the moments.
- 1:26:49[SPEAKER_00]: The law.
- 1:26:49[SPEAKER_02]: So that was a really sweet moment.
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_02]: Um, are you still looking at the brew and she sent seas a letter and envelope in the floor?
- 1:26:56[SPEAKER_02]: She gets it.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_02]: She opens it.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_02]: It says connect this.
- 1:26:58[SPEAKER_02]: You're almost there.
- 1:26:59[SPEAKER_02]: And it's a couple puzzle pieces.
- 1:27:00[SPEAKER_02]: And then she looks up and sees Mona watching her.
- 1:27:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like Mona must be following her.
- 1:27:06[SPEAKER_02]: She has to be.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll certainly not.
- 1:27:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that because Arya like doesn't do a good job of like I mean I guess Arya's always a bitch, so maybe it seemed completely normal to me.
- 1:27:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, honestly that's so true She's like I know you're fucking hate me, so so Hannah this scene
- 1:27:23[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, I couldn't, especially because I just made, if you're on our close friend story, I just made an edit, the engagement garden, the Travis set up for Taylor, but I put in the Hannah and Caleb 10 from the first up, so not even knowing we would accomplish circle like this.
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_02]: So Hannah stumbles through the woods with a flashlight.
- 1:27:43[SPEAKER_02]: Caleb is there in a tent.
- 1:27:45[SPEAKER_02]: It looks to be the same tent from their fate, the night, and high school when she lost his her virginity to him.
- 1:27:51[SPEAKER_02]: And he just has decided like everyone's looking at him.
- 1:27:53[SPEAKER_02]: We are at the road.
- 1:27:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's better for him to be off the grid.
- 1:27:56[SPEAKER_02]: And I hate that she even has to ask this, don't you?
- 1:28:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was my heart that she doesn't just like know in her soul.
- 1:28:03[SPEAKER_02]: How bad can a boss to be with her?
- 1:28:05[SPEAKER_02]: She goes, do you really mean what you said to my mom or was that just a structure?
- 1:28:09[SPEAKER_02]: And Caleb says, I would marry you right this second if we could find a bear who's licensed.
- 1:28:14[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, okay then, and she pulls out two plastic champagne flutes in some champagne, and then there are also two cigars in there, and she takes the cigar wrap her off, like the little paper band around it, like literally the paper ring, and she puts it on Caleb's ring finger, and then he puts it on hers, and he says, when can I kiss the bride, and then they kiss, and we get this sweet song.
- 1:28:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, we are tonight, we are forever.
- 1:28:38[SPEAKER_00]: Is this the same song that was playing?
- 1:28:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's the, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:28:44[SPEAKER_00]: I, I wish it was.
- 1:28:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's just something as we're played for Aria earlier.
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I don't care about that.
- 1:28:49[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 1:28:49[SPEAKER_02]: It should have been the song from when Caleb and Hannah did it.
- 1:28:52[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, but it's just a cute enemy get feel like external flashback of their silhouettes in the tent.
- 1:28:58[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just reminiscent of what are, where it all began.
- 1:29:00[SPEAKER_02]: And I could not love it more.
- 1:29:02[SPEAKER_02]: What a great episode for Halo Pads.
- 1:29:04[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 1:29:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:29:07[SPEAKER_00]: The Lost Woods resorts.
- 1:29:08[SPEAKER_00]: This is, this is the scene.
- 1:29:10[SPEAKER_00]: Mary is, Mary thinks it's Spencer's coming.
- 1:29:14[SPEAKER_00]: She's like, okay, all your stuff coming later.
- 1:29:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I guess Spencer left to think it over for a second.
- 1:29:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, if it was that, Mary's like, Mary's all your stuff.
- 1:29:21[SPEAKER_02]: I know you're not a light packer, but Spencer's not going to be going with Mary, of course.
- 1:29:27[SPEAKER_02]: She's not going to leave us town, but not the people in it.
- 1:29:29[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if I wonder if Spencer had said yes to Mary thinking they were moving to Harrisburg.
- 1:29:35[SPEAKER_02]: And then, she went out of the witnesses for many more.
- 1:29:38[SPEAKER_02]: She was like, yeah, she's like, I'm eating anyway.
- 1:29:42[SPEAKER_02]: maybe.
- 1:29:42[SPEAKER_00]: I hope not.
- 1:29:43[SPEAKER_02]: I hope not, too.
- 1:29:45[SPEAKER_00]: And so she says she can't leave her friends here or her family.
- 1:29:51[SPEAKER_00]: And she doesn't want to leave her mom.
- 1:29:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then she says sorry.
- 1:29:55[SPEAKER_00]: And Mary says no Spencer, you know, to apologize.
- 1:29:57[SPEAKER_00]: She is your mom.
- 1:29:58[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like I think Spencer really needed to hear that from Mary.
- 1:30:01[SPEAKER_02]: She knew like the permission to also not see her mom as someone who like stole Spencer away.
- 1:30:07[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 1:30:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I do like not that there's much moments of many moments of humanization for Mary, but this is a moment of like she doesn't really hold the same ill will.
- 1:30:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, towards Veronica that shows with Peter like she recognizes that Veronica raised her daughter.
- 1:30:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and did a really good job of it.
- 1:30:26[SPEAKER_02]: And she says you're lucky to have
- 1:30:36[SPEAKER_02]: So, this is the greatest, this is the greatest hits up.
- 1:30:40[SPEAKER_02]: So Mary asks Spencer if she knows who to live with a recording.
- 1:30:43[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I guess she didn't tell her, it was Arya.
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_02]: And Spencer's like, no, but I know it wasn't you.
- 1:30:48[SPEAKER_02]: And Mary tears up and asks Spencer to forgive her.
- 1:30:50[SPEAKER_02]: And Spencer's like, well, I already did, but you need to forgive yourself and they hug and whatever.
- 1:30:55[SPEAKER_02]: And Spencer starts walking away.
- 1:30:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I just was walking away.
- 1:30:58[SPEAKER_02]: She hears a noise.
- 1:31:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yikes.
- 1:31:01[SPEAKER_00]: at the doerin to stungin.
- 1:31:03[SPEAKER_02]: Question is, Dria, did you have to dress up for this?
- 1:31:07[SPEAKER_00]: I know, was that part of the deal, right?
- 1:31:08[SPEAKER_02]: You being here shrouded in darkness and a black A-hodian gloves makes this seem really suspicious, however we were to just, yeah, if you were to just show up here in your normal clothes and be like, I got puzzle pieces, like they'd have questions, but you could have figured that out in the way over.
- 1:31:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I really hope she is a plan for how she got these pieces.
- 1:31:28[SPEAKER_02]: So fucking stupid.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_02]: So I just thought it was weird.
- 1:31:30[SPEAKER_02]: She just said, but she's putting the puzzle pieces in the board and the phone lights up and says, Congrats.
- 1:31:35[SPEAKER_02]: Your grand prize is right behind you.
- 1:31:37[SPEAKER_02]: And then Ari turns her out and she finds her file.
- 1:31:39[SPEAKER_02]: Thank God.
- 1:31:40[SPEAKER_02]: now she can marry Ezra.
- 1:31:42[SPEAKER_00]: Oh great.
- 1:31:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh awesome.
- 1:31:44[SPEAKER_00]: We go to the hallway at Mona's apartment.
- 1:31:47[SPEAKER_00]: Emily is there waiting for Mona and she's like, um, I need your help with this phone.
- 1:31:51[SPEAKER_00]: Mona's like, hey, we're not really dating.
- 1:31:55[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 1:31:56[SPEAKER_00]: This was like, I mean, Ali said you were clingy.
- 1:31:58[SPEAKER_00]: I just didn't really believe her until right.
- 1:32:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I just didn't, but on it, hey, um, is this, are you going to make this weird?
- 1:32:04[SPEAKER_02]: Can I, my doors are at behind you?
- 1:32:06[SPEAKER_02]: Can you please stop walking my dormally?
- 1:32:07[SPEAKER_02]: You're much stronger than me physically, physically.
- 1:32:11[SPEAKER_02]: We're not together.
- 1:32:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 1:32:12[SPEAKER_02]: I want to let you down easy, but I'm honestly terrified right now.
- 1:32:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm scared.
- 1:32:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm scared.
- 1:32:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to poke out and hit me.
- 1:32:18[SPEAKER_02]: That's a bonus that.
- 1:32:19[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, um, and she's, anyway, she has her own phone.
- 1:32:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's on the phone expensive.
- 1:32:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know why I'm like being so out there today.
- 1:32:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just like an assily goofy movie.
- 1:32:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just being eclectic and kooky.
- 1:32:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Emily has the phone for his monster.
- 1:32:36[SPEAKER_02]: She wants Mona to help them figure out literally anything about it.
- 1:32:38[SPEAKER_02]: And Mona, we see this moment again, where she's like, obviously, no, she's like, why didn't she call Caleb first?
- 1:32:43[SPEAKER_02]: Like, she feels used by these girls.
- 1:32:45[SPEAKER_02]: And she should.
- 1:32:46[SPEAKER_02]: Emily is like, talking about the, Emily just like, on one, and you know how she got.
- 1:32:51[SPEAKER_02]: And she's like talking about her million things.
- 1:32:52[SPEAKER_02]: And Mona's like, two tired, goodbye.
- 1:32:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'll call you tomorrow.
- 1:32:55[SPEAKER_02]: Goes inside, doesn't want Emily in there.
- 1:32:57[SPEAKER_02]: Which is the only reason I was like,
- 1:33:00[SPEAKER_02]: Does she not want Emily like is she doing something bad, but I just don't think she is I think she knows how it will look if yeah, and I don't think she believes that Emily will if Emily's the first one to see it Right, that's a good Emily won't believe her because Hannah's the only one who genuinely believes any demoness help in that mode I like is good and is is gonna just help them so I feel like it would just take so much explanation
- 1:33:24[SPEAKER_00]: When we're walking in this hallway though, and we see what Mona's apartment looks like, and then we go in, and you see how her living room is decorated.
- 1:33:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, Mona, this doesn't look like the building we were just in, and also, Mona, Mona, we are, I saw your, I saw your teenage bedroom.
- 1:33:42[SPEAKER_02]: When your parents want you to be yourself, then you don't really know where you are.
- 1:33:47[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 1:33:47[SPEAKER_02]: Mona also has a zillion locks on her door, which is like so fun.
- 1:33:51[SPEAKER_02]: Just a funny little Mona detail.
- 1:33:54[SPEAKER_02]: She locks a zillion of them and she goes and sets behind you.
- 1:33:56[SPEAKER_00]: And you know Emory heard that.
- 1:33:58[SPEAKER_02]: You know the Emily deadbolt lock Emily turns walking away and at the click of every lucky lock Seriously, like she keeps turning back.
- 1:34:06[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, oh my god.
- 1:34:07[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, like every log it gets louder and Emily's like Jesus Mona Not gonna try to get in her anything and Mona's like, I don't know you're lusting over me I can tell you're drool you're drool on your face dry drool on your face I'm looking at me.
- 1:34:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 1:34:23[SPEAKER_02]: I got to tell you're fair amount slut.
- 1:34:25[SPEAKER_02]: Just kidding
- 1:34:26[SPEAKER_02]: You're having a baby stop Emily Emily's like stop All you have not understand Emily's like Stop it all over your I mean I need to call her and tell her I would never treat on her I need her to know this Me my alley's why cheating on Emily pregnant in New York I was like oh, I'm here.
- 1:34:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah Jason Jason not not anyone else Anyway, Mona sister computer will you do this because it's kind of like they say and I guess
- 1:34:48[SPEAKER_00]: She submitted her computer with kind of a sneaky grin and then we like pan around the room when we see that she has like a blue print of liars lament and a picture of liars lamenting like how did you get that on her wall blown up really big animals studying it make me who saw this that it was blown up this big that you have it this big on her wall has like an industrial strength fronter in our home.

- 1:35:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, it is.
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:35:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then we continue to pin over and we see all the shovels in the corner for apartment.
- 1:35:25[SPEAKER_02]: And I just am taking this as she's just cleaning up after the liars and she does need to bother them with it.
- 1:35:29[SPEAKER_02]: She's going to take care of it because honestly, it's like I get it, Mona, the more you tell them, the more you have to explain, they're not going to get that they're going to ask them million questions.
- 1:35:36[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to complicate it and you just need to get the job done.
- 1:35:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like I got it.
- 1:35:40[SPEAKER_02]: So that is the last scene.
