- 1:34Speaker 4: 7 p.m. Saturday night, Paramount Theater. All these tickets can
- 1:39Speaker 4: be found at HeatherMcDonald.net.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Make sure you go there. Get those tickets.
- 1:44Speaker 4: I also have a great episode with a wonderful interview
- 1:47Speaker 4: with Josh Flagg, who is interesting and funny and the
- 1:50Speaker 4: star of Million Dollar Listing. But first, let me do
- 1:52Speaker 4: some follow-ups of some topics that we've been talking about.
- 1:57Speaker 4: So we talked about Real Housewives of New Jersey. And Louis,
- 2:03Speaker 4: in the episode that we all talked about, the finale episode,
- 2:07Speaker 4: he's in a room with Teresa and And he says,
- 2:11Speaker 4: I want Margaret to suffer and I want her son
- 2:13Speaker 4: to suffer. And this was very disturbing for everybody but
- 2:18Speaker 4: Louie and Teresa. They didn't seem to respond. Now these
- 2:21Speaker 4: things are edited, but that was a pretty awful thing
- 2:23Speaker 4: to say. Obviously, it was very awful to Margaret. This
- 2:26Speaker 4: is her son who has never been featured on the
- 2:29Speaker 4: show and was living a private life. And she said
- 2:33Speaker 4: on the last reunion, you called my son and threatened him.
- 2:36Speaker 4: He denied it, but she had- pretty great receipts, his
- 2:40Speaker 4: phone number, whatnot, saying that he did. And the reason
- 2:45Speaker 4: that he was threatening them is because they always believed
- 2:48Speaker 4: that Margaret was in communication with one of Louis' ex-girlfriends
- 2:54Speaker 4: in which they were in a legal thing about, she
- 2:59Speaker 4: thought he stalked her and hired Bo Deedle to send
- 3:02Speaker 4: fake people into her therapy practice to try to get
- 3:06Speaker 4: information on her. He thought it was just a smear
- 3:10Speaker 4: campaign and lies. She tried to get a restraining order.
- 3:14Speaker 4: The judge said, no, I'm not going to grant a
- 3:16Speaker 4: restraining order. I don't think that he is a threat
- 3:19Speaker 4: to you. However, that particular case involving Bo Dietl and
- 3:23Speaker 4: hiring people to come into a practice and act like
- 3:26Speaker 4: they're somebody they weren't, that situation, that legal situation is
- 3:30Speaker 4: still going on. I don't know if it's a civil
- 3:33Speaker 4: situation or a private one. That's still going on. So
- 3:37Speaker 4: They always felt that because Margaret at one time had
- 3:41Speaker 4: DM'd this girl, the girl had DM'd her, there was
- 3:44Speaker 4: some communication. They were like, we want Margaret to be
- 3:48Speaker 4: subpoenaed to speak about anything she knows about this horrible ex-girlfriend.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Margaret was subpoenaed and shared it with her attorney and
- 3:58Speaker 4: the attorney was like, no, you don't know, have any information.
- 4:01Speaker 4: You don't have to do this in this case. And
- 4:04Speaker 4: she let everybody know, I'm not doing this, you know,
- 4:07Speaker 4: like I'm not going to do this. But they saw
- 4:10Speaker 4: it as you were subpoenaed and you didn't help us out. Therefore,
- 4:13Speaker 4: you are our enemy. And the whole season was Margaret
- 4:18Speaker 4: is the enemy, okay? So today, a lot of people
- 4:22Speaker 4: were very disturbed by that scene when he said about
- 4:24Speaker 4: the son. Today, Louie, Teresa's second husband, wrote, the finale
- 4:30Speaker 4: was very tough for me, he posted this on his stories,
- 4:33Speaker 4: to watch and I wanted to address it with you all.
- 4:35Speaker 4: After watching the finale, I was disappointed in my actions
- 4:38Speaker 4: in bringing up Margaret Joseph's son. The reason he was
- 4:40Speaker 4: even brought up was because I've been dealing with being
- 4:43Speaker 4: falsely accused of calling Margaret's son at his work, which
- 4:46Speaker 4: is simply not true.
- 4:47Speaker 1: He denies it. For the last year, Margaret kept putting
- 4:50Speaker 1: the narrative.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Out there that I called her son at work and
- 4:54Speaker 4: I have had to deal with it knowing I am
- 4:56Speaker 4: being lied on. Still, I know better not to bring
- 4:59Speaker 4: up someone's child, and it is something I deeply regret,
- 5:03Speaker 4: so I do want to apologize and acknowledge that I
- 5:05Speaker 4: was wrong. There's been a lot of toxicity on the
- 5:08Speaker 4: show that has affected everyone on the show. We have
- 5:11Speaker 4: been dealing with a lot of frustrating things behind the scenes,
- 5:14Speaker 4: and it's been very hard for our entire family and
- 5:16Speaker 4: my children, who have been really impacted by all that's
- 5:19Speaker 4: happened at the hands of certain people. Two wrongs don't
- 5:23Speaker 4: make a right, and I deeply regret saying.
- 5:25Speaker 1: What I said.
- 5:26Speaker 2: So, um.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Page six is saying, you know, that he has apologized.
- 5:32Speaker 4: We don't know how Margaret is going to react to this.
- 5:35Speaker 4: I wonder if there was a sincere apology. Would it
- 5:38Speaker 4: be received? Could they all be on the show together?
- 5:40Speaker 4: Could they have a clean slate? I think with all
- 5:44Speaker 4: these legal issues and the pointing and the accusing, and
- 5:47Speaker 4: of course, Teresa still saying, I'll never get back together
- 5:51Speaker 4: with my brother, Joe, and his wife, Melissa. I.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 5:56Speaker 4: But I do think it was wise that he put
- 5:58Speaker 4: out an apology. But it is so it was such
- 6:02Speaker 4: a weird tit for tat situation and investigating people and stuff.
- 6:08Speaker 4: And it does seem kind of scary. So, I mean,
- 6:11Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I think there has to be a real come to.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Jesus moment of just being like, I think at this point,
- 6:20Speaker 4: the only way to save it is to just lay
- 6:22Speaker 4: it on the line and And, but now, would he
- 6:25Speaker 4: admit to calling the son or is he going to
- 6:27Speaker 4: say somebody else did it? I think if you're going
- 6:30Speaker 4: to stick with that story, then there's got to be
- 6:32Speaker 4: some that you have.
- 6:32Speaker 1: To say, yeah, I did do this. Yes, I did
- 6:35Speaker 1: think that you did this.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Or if you're Jackie, you have to just, which she is,
- 6:39Speaker 4: being honest, but still it makes her so unlikable.
- 6:43Speaker 1: It's a mess.
- 6:43Speaker 4: But this apology, based on what I talked about on Tuesday,
- 6:46Speaker 4: came and I wanted to.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Share it with you. The girls.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Paris and Nicole Richie are back. They're working at Sonic.
- 6:56Speaker 1: This is a picture that was taken doing the return
- 7:00Speaker 1: of the simple life.
- 7:01Speaker 4: They are both married with kids. Paris has little two
- 7:06Speaker 4: little kids. I think Nicole Richie's kids are much older now.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I saw the little girl looks just like her anyway.
- 7:12Speaker 4: So they're doing what they did many years ago, which
- 7:15Speaker 4: was really put them on the mat, made Paris so likable.
- 7:19Speaker 4: It was so funny. For those that you don't know,
- 7:21Speaker 4: it was The Simple Life. It was definitely a hybrid
- 7:23Speaker 4: of a reality show. It was them going and taking
- 7:26Speaker 4: these simple jobs. But- As someone in television, a lot
- 7:31Speaker 4: of the lines were produced and fed and the situations
- 7:33Speaker 4: were not organic. So it was kind of a hybrid
- 7:36Speaker 4: of a reality and like almost like a sketch show,
- 7:38Speaker 4: if you will.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But it was funny and it was entertaining. And so
- 7:42Speaker 1: they are back.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Now, what's interesting is when Luann, Countess Luann and Sonia
- 7:48Speaker 4: from New York, they had their show.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Crappy Lake.
- 7:51Speaker 4: It really was like a simple life. These two gals
- 7:54Speaker 4: go to this small town and make it happen. And-
- 7:59Speaker 4: For right now, it's not coming back, and I wonder
- 8:01Speaker 4: if it's not coming back because I don't know if
- 8:03Speaker 4: this is part of the Peacock family or what, but
- 8:06Speaker 4: I almost feel like them coming back, you'd almost want
- 8:10Speaker 4: to see more people be put into this situation.
- 8:13Speaker 1: So who knows? But it is interesting, the timing of
- 8:17Speaker 1: these things.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Janet Jackson said, is finalizing a deal at Resorts World
- 8:22Speaker 4: for a Las Vegas residency.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I'm excited for this.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Unfortunately, I wanted to go see her when she was
- 8:27Speaker 4: playing at Acashare out in the Palm Springs area, Palm Desert.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I didn't go.
- 8:33Speaker 4: My sister went and said it was amazing. So it's
- 8:36Speaker 4: interesting to see what is going to go on. We
- 8:38Speaker 4: heard that Celine, who had her triumphant return at the
- 8:41Speaker 4: opening ceremony of the Olympics, that she might be coming back,
- 8:46Speaker 4: which would be wonderful.
- 8:48Speaker 1: There's Mariah talk.
- 8:49Speaker 4: I don't know about how these residencies work, but Janet
- 8:52Speaker 4: puts on a great show. This is my worst nightmare.
- 8:56Speaker 4: These people got trapped in an air fryer in a plane.
- 9:01Speaker 4: The plane had no air conditioning and they were trapped,
- 9:05Speaker 4: not moving, which is already, even if you have air conditioning,
- 9:08Speaker 4: there's something about sitting on a plane for hours and
- 9:12Speaker 4: for whatever reason that it gives you like anxiety that
- 9:14Speaker 4: you're not moving. You're not, you know, they were just
- 9:18Speaker 4: suffering from panic, panic attacks. They were sweltering sauna. The
- 9:23Speaker 4: plane was held for two hours before the flight got
- 9:25Speaker 4: canceled entirely. This is my worst nightmare. I just, I,
- 9:32Speaker 4: I can't imagine how hot it was with all those people,
- 9:35Speaker 4: how you wouldn't just be like, I've got to open
- 9:38Speaker 4: this door.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I've got to get out. I really have to hand
- 9:41Speaker 1: it to the flight.
- 9:43Speaker 4: No one thinks about the flight attendants who are also
- 9:44Speaker 4: sweating their balls off and their tits off and have
- 9:47Speaker 4: to tell everybody just to chill, say in our father,
- 9:51Speaker 4: whatever you do, I don't know what. Try to watch something,
- 9:54Speaker 4: listen to a juicy scoop in your ears as you
- 9:56Speaker 4: sweat your AirPods out of your eardrums. It sounds like
- 10:00Speaker 4: my worst nightmare. So little update on Ben and Jen.
- 10:06Speaker 4: This is from page six. Sarah Ferguson has slammed the
- 10:10Speaker 4: actors as one of her worst interview subjects. They spoke,
- 10:13Speaker 4: I guess, about a year ago when the movie Air
- 10:15Speaker 4: came out. She said he was, you know, very rude and,
- 10:18Speaker 4: you know, not a fun interview. And this is where
- 10:20Speaker 4: I want to just talk about why I think their
- 10:23Speaker 4: relationship is over forever, unfortunately, Ben and Jen. There's another
- 10:28Speaker 4: article that came out that said that Jennifer Lopez is
- 10:32Speaker 4: furious and humiliated amid Ben Affleck's split as he holds
- 10:36Speaker 4: back on filing for the divorce to protect her. So
- 10:39Speaker 4: this source is saying he is not filing, even though
- 10:44Speaker 4: the source says he's done with the marriage, but he's
- 10:46Speaker 4: not filing because They have been married such a short time,
- 10:50Speaker 4: but also because he pursued her.
- 10:53Speaker 1: And she is like, what? I mean, I remember her
- 10:56Speaker 1: being on Watch What Happens Live.
- 11:00Speaker 4: And he brought up his hideous falcon back tattoo or
- 11:05Speaker 4: whatever the heck it was. And she just kind of
- 11:07Speaker 4: laughed like, God bless him. It wasn't a girl that
- 11:10Speaker 4: was like.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Um, whatever he does, it's fine. It didn't feel like
- 11:15Speaker 1: she was still in love with him.
- 11:16Speaker 4: So I do believe that he was the one that
- 11:19Speaker 4: once she broke up with A-Rod, who let's remember, the
- 11:23Speaker 4: reason we believe she broke up with A-Rod is that
- 11:26Speaker 4: on Southern Charm reunion, um, It came out that Madison
- 11:32Speaker 4: was DMing him while he was still.
- 11:37Speaker 1: With J-Lo.
- 11:38Speaker 4: So shortly after that was revealed on this reality show
- 11:42Speaker 4: platform of Southern Trump, that's when she dumped A-Rod. And
- 11:46Speaker 4: that's shortly after, you know, he allegedly swooped in and
- 11:51Speaker 4: really pursued her. So she falls back in love with
- 11:54Speaker 4: him and is like, this is what it was meant
- 11:56Speaker 4: to be. 20 years later, da-da-da, gets married. And it's
- 12:00Speaker 4: like I don't think she's ever stopped being who she is,
- 12:03Speaker 4: which is she likes to be in the limelight. She
- 12:06Speaker 4: loves the publicity. She likes to be in the magazine.
- 12:10Speaker 4: She sings, she dances, products. Now she's super into social media.
- 12:14Speaker 4: I think that he did not realize what he was
- 12:18Speaker 4: re-signing up for. When they were together 20 years ago,
- 12:22Speaker 4: all of a sudden he went from wearing like, you know,
- 12:24Speaker 4: Boston clothes baseball gear to his hair slicked back, wearing
- 12:29Speaker 4: a suit and then driving a Rolls Royce every day
- 12:32Speaker 4: on Rodeo Drive. And everyone was like, what the hell
- 12:35Speaker 4: happened to Ben Affleck? He's been like gentrified or whatever.
- 12:38Speaker 4: And so it was like, oh, now he's with the
- 12:41Speaker 4: real type of girl. He's with Jennifer Garner. She's so
- 12:43Speaker 4: down to earth there. Well, that marriage didn't work out either.
- 12:46Speaker 4: So they get together and I believe they had like
- 12:48Speaker 4: some real passion. But I think when you're in your 50s,
- 12:51Speaker 4: it's just really hard to to adjust to someone's lifestyle
- 12:54Speaker 4: if it doesn't fit yours. And both being stars, he
- 12:57Speaker 4: has said in interviews, I had an addiction to alcohol,
- 13:00Speaker 4: but I believe she has an addiction. And I remember
- 13:02Speaker 4: seeing this interview, so I'm paraphrasing. She has an addiction
- 13:06Speaker 4: to the fame. It's never enough. It's always, it's never
- 13:08Speaker 4: enough likes and views and things like that. And that's
- 13:12Speaker 4: just not why he got into this business. I don't
- 13:15Speaker 4: think he enjoys red carpets and photos. And that's why
- 13:18Speaker 4: his face does look miserable. He probably doesn't like doing interview,
- 13:21Speaker 4: press interviews. A lot of people that are actors and
- 13:24Speaker 4: directors and things like that don't like all that other
- 13:27Speaker 4: stuff that goes with selling the movie that you're sort
- 13:29Speaker 4: of required to do. They like the work. They like writing, directing, acting,
- 13:33Speaker 4: and that's it. Maybe they don't even like going to
- 13:35Speaker 4: the Oscars for that matter. Like, I just don't think
- 13:38Speaker 4: he's that. And he is kind of grumpy. And even
- 13:41Speaker 4: though he looks good, he is an older man. And
- 13:43Speaker 4: I think he's a grumpy old man.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And I still think she's kind of like that girl
- 13:48Speaker 1: that wants to be out there. And....
- 13:51Speaker 4: You know, and then you throw in, um, five kids
- 13:54Speaker 4: between them that are all in this vulnerable, you know,
- 13:58Speaker 4: coming of age, teenage times, even though it seems like
- 14:01Speaker 4: the kids get along. I think that's just a lot
- 14:03Speaker 4: to grapple with and dealing with exes with the kids
- 14:07Speaker 4: and all that. So then she goes to the Hamptons
- 14:10Speaker 4: and riding her bike around and calling the paparazzi and,
- 14:14Speaker 4: and all of that.
- 14:15Speaker 1: And, um, so I don't think that, um, I just
- 14:20Speaker 1: don't think it's going to work out.
- 14:21Speaker 4: I think they are kind of wanting it to, like
- 14:26Speaker 4: no one's actually filing because it is humiliating. And so
- 14:30Speaker 4: who knows when we'll really hear.
- 14:32Speaker 1: But now at this point, I'd be really shocked if
- 14:34Speaker 1: they ever came together and were lovey-dovey again. I think
- 14:37Speaker 1: it's just too much out there. There's too much water
- 14:40Speaker 1: on the bridge. Didn't come to her birthday. They're not
- 14:42Speaker 1: living together. And I think she's hopefully coming to a
- 14:45Speaker 1: place of just like, you know what? Fuck you.
- 14:49Speaker 4: So what if I'm married five or 15 times? I'm
- 14:51Speaker 4: Elizabeth Taylor and I'll do just fine. And another guy's
- 14:54Speaker 4: going to be around the corner.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 14:55Speaker 4: It's so Elizabeth Taylor because remember she remarried an old flame.
- 15:00Speaker 4: So it's like, she's very much living that life and
- 15:02Speaker 4: she'll find love again. And I think at this point
- 15:05Speaker 4: they should just cut their losses and not worry about
- 15:07Speaker 4: the humiliation. I mean, the same thing with, with Kim Kardashian.
- 15:11Speaker 4: She was, um, ended her marriage after 73 days. And
- 15:15Speaker 4: it's like, well, would it have been better if she
- 15:16Speaker 4: wasted two years with this asshole and missed her opportunity
- 15:19Speaker 4: to like meet the fabulous lover of her life, Kanye? Well,
- 15:25Speaker 4: at least she had her four kids, whatever. The point
- 15:28Speaker 4: is you're not happy. Don't worry about.
- 15:29Speaker 1: What the public thinks. Move the fuck along. And it
- 15:32Speaker 1: is what it is.
- 15:33Speaker 4: So very interesting there. This crazy story, sad but weird.
- 15:39Speaker 4: This woman was found screaming for help tied to a tree,
- 15:44Speaker 4: starving in India.
- 15:46Speaker 1: She was American.
- 15:48Speaker 4: The person was like on a hike, whatever. They rescued her.
- 15:51Speaker 4: She immediately starts writing down, who did this to you?
- 15:53Speaker 4: My husband did this to me. He tied me to
- 15:56Speaker 4: a tree. Now the police in India are saying they
- 16:00Speaker 4: believe this American woman tied herself up, that she doesn't
- 16:04Speaker 4: even have a husband.
- 16:06Speaker 1: This is coming from the Daily Mail article. It just
- 16:11Speaker 1: broke today. I don't know.
- 16:13Speaker 4: So it's like she's a Sherry Papini, but I don't
- 16:17Speaker 4: know if she tied herself wanting attention. thinking someone would
- 16:23Speaker 4: be walking by any minute and then nobody did. And
- 16:27Speaker 4: then however she tied herself, she couldn't untie herself. That's
- 16:30Speaker 4: what I'm assuming is that whatever she did, she couldn't undo.
- 16:33Speaker 4: If this is in fact true. Also, I just read
- 16:37Speaker 4: an article that there's a guy that works for the
- 16:39Speaker 4: transit system in New York and he wanted some days
- 16:45Speaker 4: off and they wouldn't let him.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So he cut his own hand.
- 16:48Speaker 4: To say that he was injured on the job, and
- 16:50Speaker 4: then they realized he did it himself. I'm like, oh
- 16:52Speaker 4: my God, all these like Jussie Smollett copycats.
- 16:55Speaker 1: It's very bizarre.
- 16:57Speaker 4: But this one is very sad because obviously something's really
- 17:01Speaker 4: wrong with her and her fake kidnapping plan.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Really went awry. Also, last Olympic news.
- 17:09Speaker 4: They're saying that Olympians have found worms in their food
- 17:13Speaker 4: at the 2024 Paris Games. This swimming silver medalist revealed that. He,
- 17:19Speaker 4: I guess, shared on social media or somewhere that there
- 17:22Speaker 4: were worms in the food.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Like, what is going on? This is horrible PR for....
- 17:30Speaker 4: Paris, but only, I think, only going to make us
- 17:33Speaker 4: shine when the Olympics come here in 2028, because that
- 17:37Speaker 4: definitely is not going to happen. We're not going to
- 17:39Speaker 4: have worms in the food. We're going to have air conditioning.
- 17:41Speaker 4: We're going to have nice bedding. We're going to have,
- 17:45Speaker 4: think about all the LA sponsors that'll be like, take
- 17:48Speaker 4: our sheets, take our food.
- 17:50Speaker 1: It's going to be a fabulous Hollywood delight.
- 17:53Speaker 4: So I'm sticking around until then because it's going to
- 17:55Speaker 4: be like much better. And now for my interview with
- 17:58Speaker 4: Josh Flagg.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 18:01Speaker 4: I have my friend, the fabulous Josh Flagg from Million
- 18:05Speaker 4: Dollar Listing.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Welcome back. You've been on many a time. Thank you.
- 18:10Speaker 1: And looking cute, refreshed, young as ever.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You're only, can I say your age?
- 18:17Speaker 2: Sure.
- 18:18Speaker 1: You're now 37?
- 18:19Speaker 3: Well, I'll take that. I'm 38.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Oh, well, we had a wonderful time. Thank you for
- 18:25Speaker 4: inviting me to the most fabulous hotel in all of Europe.
- 18:28Speaker 3: My pleasure.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Thank you for coming. Hotel Ducap.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Hotel Ducap.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Hotel Ducap. That, when I got there, because you invited
- 18:37Speaker 1: me for lunch, and I looked down at the pool situation,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I was like, oh, my God, I've seen this in
- 18:43Speaker 1: a million reels and dreamt of coming to this.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Oh, you didn't know that's what you were coming to?
- 18:49Speaker 4: I knew I was coming to a beautiful hotel because
- 18:50Speaker 4: my friend had told me to. And then we looked
- 18:52Speaker 4: up the room rate. And I said, well, that's not happening.
- 18:56Speaker 4: And then when you're like, I'm here, I'm like, oh,
- 18:58Speaker 4: my God, this is a place that, you know, my
- 19:00Speaker 4: friend Lisa told me to go to.
- 19:01Speaker 1: And then we got there. I was like, so I
- 19:03Speaker 1: was going off the diving board. I was swimming in
- 19:06Speaker 1: the pool after we had our fun lunch. It is spectacular.
- 19:10Speaker 1: It is the place to go.
- 19:11Speaker 3: It's my favorite place.
- 19:12Speaker 4: Do they let people come in for lunch? Because I
- 19:15Speaker 4: felt the security was very high and I had to
- 19:17Speaker 4: say I was your guest.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I don't.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Well, maybe if you have a reservation for lunch, but
- 19:21Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think it's only for hotel
- 19:24Speaker 3: guests and repeat customers. Maybe they do, but I don't
- 19:27Speaker 3: think you could just call up and be like, hey,
- 19:29Speaker 3: I'm coming in an hour.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Right. I get it.
- 19:31Speaker 3: It's really– the security there is pretty crazy.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Oh, wait.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Since we're just talking about that really quick, I want
- 19:36Speaker 4: to talk about this story that just happened. So, of course,
- 19:39Speaker 4: Serena is at the Olympics. I may be doing some
- 19:42Speaker 4: correspondence work.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I don't know. But she's there with her two kids,
- 19:45Speaker 1: six and four.
- 19:46Speaker 4: And she tweeted– she was very angry at the peninsula
- 19:50Speaker 4: in paris because she went there with her two kids
- 19:52Speaker 4: and she went to the rooftop and she wanted to
- 19:53Speaker 4: have a table and they said i'm sorry we can't
- 19:56Speaker 4: accommodate you and she's like but there's all these empty
- 19:59Speaker 4: tables and they said um so she she puts that
- 20:03Speaker 4: tweet out and everybody's like.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Sometimes you go to a restaurant and there's empty tables
- 20:07Speaker 3: and they say that all the time. I've been to
- 20:09Speaker 3: restaurants where we don't have many seats and I'm like,
- 20:11Speaker 3: the restaurant's empty. And then they're like, well, no, but
- 20:14Speaker 3: they have seatings, you know what I mean?
- 20:15Speaker 1: Right, the reservations.
- 20:17Speaker 4: So that's what I thought when I heard it, because
- 20:18Speaker 4: I'm like, it's Paris, it's the Olympics, it's a rooftop,
- 20:23Speaker 4: it's the Peninsula Hotel.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I'm guessing it's a pretty coveted table to get.
- 20:27Speaker 4: So anyway, she put it out there and people then,
- 20:30Speaker 4: of course, got angry at the Peninsula because she's beloved.
- 20:34Speaker 4: And they came forth and said- We're so sorry we
- 20:38Speaker 4: couldn't accommodate you.
- 20:39Speaker 1: We're huge fans.
- 20:40Speaker 4: All those tables were taken. We did offer you– and
- 20:44Speaker 4: the restaurant was full, reservations. We did offer you a
- 20:48Speaker 4: table outside downstairs at the other restaurant, but she didn't
- 20:51Speaker 4: want it. So– As– I mean I know when I
- 20:55Speaker 4: went to Europe, every place I wanted to– I definitely
- 20:58Speaker 4: wanted to have a reservation. Sure, sometimes you can walk in.
- 21:00Speaker 4: But I think anywhere, LA, whatever, if you're going to
- 21:03Speaker 4: go to the rooftop at the Waldorf, you better have
- 21:05Speaker 4: a reservation.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I mean I don't know if the hotel did anything
- 21:09Speaker 3: wrong if the tables were reserved. If they were not reserved,
- 21:12Speaker 3: then of course. But like if they were reserved, they
- 21:14Speaker 3: were reserved. I mean she doesn't have a hard time
- 21:15Speaker 3: getting like a great seat anywhere. I sat across from
- 21:18Speaker 3: her at Louis Vuitton Fashion Week. She was literally front row.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I mean so she– can get anything she wants. I'm
- 21:24Speaker 3: assuming that it was booked.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yes. So anyway, they were, they handled it. They got
- 21:28Speaker 1: right on it.
- 21:29Speaker 4: She'll probably just be quiet about it. And she'll probably,
- 21:31Speaker 4: you know, they'll probably like want her to come by
- 21:33Speaker 4: or something. But what is it like to go to
- 21:37Speaker 4: those actual real fashion shows like in Paris?
- 21:39Speaker 1: And how do you get invited?
- 21:41Speaker 3: Well, I was laughing. I was like smiling and she
- 21:43Speaker 3: smiled back at me because we were both sitting and
- 21:46Speaker 3: it was in a, in the Louis Vuitton, the new
- 21:51Speaker 3: store where there were, That they're building. They decided to
- 21:54Speaker 3: do the fashion show in the construction site and it
- 21:56Speaker 3: was so hot in there and it was– everyone was dripping.
- 21:59Speaker 1: What city was this?
- 22:00Speaker 3: In Paris.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Oh, in Paris.
- 22:01Speaker 3: It was last year and like we were all just
- 22:03Speaker 3: like– Miserable.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 22:06Speaker 3: But no, they're fun. The best one was when Pharrell
- 22:09Speaker 3: took over for Louis Vuitton. He's the men's collection designer
- 22:13Speaker 3: now and they did this incredible show. He's really talented, actually.
- 22:17Speaker 3: They did this incredible show on the bridge in Paris,
- 22:20Speaker 3: and it was like a bar mitzvah. I've never seen
- 22:21Speaker 3: anything like this in my life. They must have spent
- 22:23Speaker 3: $ 50 million on this show. And Jay-Z performed. It was crazy.
- 22:27Speaker 4: My friend just went to the Dolce & Gabbana one.
- 22:30Speaker 4: And she showed it to me and it was outside.
- 22:33Speaker 4: It looked absolutely stunning. I can't remember what city it was.
- 22:36Speaker 4: But they recently went and it was just beautiful the
- 22:39Speaker 4: way it was done.
- 22:40Speaker 3: It was probably in Milan.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yes. And it was outside. It was stunning.
- 22:43Speaker 4: I went to one– the only one I've really been to,
- 22:46Speaker 4: a real one, is I was invited to the Gucci one,
- 22:50Speaker 4: which they closed Hollywood Boulevard and they cleaned it all up.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Really? Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 4: And they put all the– All of our seats were
- 22:57Speaker 4: on either side and then the models walked down Hollywood Boulevard.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It was like two years ago.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I go to the Gucci one every year but in Europe.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Well, you're quite the person because your show, Million Dollar Listing,
- 23:14Speaker 4: 15th season.
- 23:16Speaker 1: That's incredible.
- 23:17Speaker 3: It's longer than Knott's Landing.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Wow.
- 23:19Speaker 4: So this is the longest running Bravo show. Is this
- 23:22Speaker 4: longer than Top Chef and stuff?
- 23:24Speaker 3: This is the longest running Bravo show and I'm now
- 23:26Speaker 3: the longest running Bravo family member.
- 23:31Speaker 4: I don't feel like you get the accolades or the
- 23:34Speaker 4: respect of that title.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I don't think anyone realizes it until I just figured
- 23:38Speaker 3: it out recently. I was on Watch What Happens Live
- 23:41Speaker 3: and Andy was like, what? I was like, yeah, I'm
- 23:43Speaker 3: the longest person on the entire network.
- 23:45Speaker 1: That is... Amazing.
- 23:47Speaker 4: And of course, you know, my listeners know that I
- 23:52Speaker 4: grew up in residential real estate with my parents.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I had my own license. So, of course, I've always
- 23:57Speaker 1: loved it.
- 23:58Speaker 4: And what I've loved about this show as, you know,
- 24:01Speaker 4: other shows about glamorous real estate have come on is
- 24:05Speaker 4: that you guys, more than anybody, I do think buying
- 24:08Speaker 4: Beverly Hills with Mauricio and his group, they do cover
- 24:12Speaker 4: more of like the sometimes the intricacies of a detail
- 24:15Speaker 4: of a deal a little bit more than like, let's say,
- 24:20Speaker 4: of course, the selling sunset. That's all just about like
- 24:23Speaker 4: fashion and fighting with the girls. So I always find
- 24:26Speaker 4: that part. Really interesting when you have to like give
- 24:30Speaker 4: up the client, give up the listing, just be like,
- 24:32Speaker 4: I don't know what to do with you, dude. And
- 24:34Speaker 4: I think this season, which you guys have four episodes
- 24:37Speaker 4: out now, the other players have been in it throughout
- 24:41Speaker 4: the years. You and Josh Altman, well, you've been on
- 24:45Speaker 4: the longest. Josh Altman came around maybe 10 years ago.
- 24:48Speaker 4: How long has he been on?
- 24:50Speaker 3: Josh Altman came on probably nine, 10 years ago.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Yeah. And then you had the English friends.
- 24:56Speaker 5: Right.
- 24:56Speaker 3: They were on for a couple of years.
- 24:58Speaker 1: You had the Frederick who popped over from New York.
- 25:02Speaker 3: We got rid of him real fast.
- 25:04Speaker 1: You were not a fan.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Nope.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Still not.
- 25:06Speaker 1: And you had the Madison in the beginning.
- 25:09Speaker 3: We had Madison.
- 25:11Speaker 1: And then Tracy came on about, what, four years ago?
- 25:13Speaker 3: About five years ago.
- 25:15Speaker 4: I think she's perfect. I think the three of you guys,
- 25:18Speaker 4: it's perfect. It's easy to follow. There's still, like, relationships,
- 25:22Speaker 4: but it's not overwhelming.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:25Speaker 1: It's leaner. It's meaner. It's better. It's more interesting.
- 25:28Speaker 3: I think the show gets better every year, which is
- 25:30Speaker 3: rare because usually shows die out.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:33Speaker 3: And our ratings are up like 25%.
- 25:35Speaker 4: As they come back every year to you, has there
- 25:37Speaker 4: ever been a time in your life that you were like,
- 25:39Speaker 4: you know what? It takes up too much time filming
- 25:42Speaker 4: or whatever reason. Was there ever a time that you
- 25:45Speaker 4: thought maybe you wouldn't return?
- 25:47Speaker 3: Not really because I've learned to manage my life and
- 25:51Speaker 3: the show and everything. This is what I know. So
- 25:53Speaker 3: it it balances perfectly. The answer is no.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Do you realize that you're coming up on a few
- 25:59Speaker 4: years of which more of your life will have been
- 26:01Speaker 4: on TV than not?
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's, well, let's see.
- 26:06Speaker 1: So you're 38, so you've been on 15 years.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Well, I've been on for 17 years. Think about COVID
- 26:12Speaker 3: and think about how long it takes. I started filming
- 26:13Speaker 3: when I was 21.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Right. So once you turn.
- 26:16Speaker 3: 42, I will have been half of my life on TV.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yes.
- 26:22Speaker 3: That'll be very weird.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Do you feel that in making good TV and always
- 26:27Speaker 4: being yourself and if it means telling someone off or
- 26:30Speaker 4: saying something oftentimes unflattering about yourself, sometimes when I'm watching it,
- 26:34Speaker 4: I'm like, why is he saying that about his current
- 26:38Speaker 4: listing that's unflattering on TV? What if he still has it?
- 26:42Speaker 4: What if he wants to sell it again?
- 26:43Speaker 3: If I'm saying something negative about my own listing, that
- 26:46Speaker 3: means that I've hit the wall and I am not.
- 26:50Speaker 3: in a good place with that seller. And I know
- 26:52Speaker 3: that we're not going to be continuing working together regardless.
- 26:54Speaker 3: I have nothing to lose.
- 26:55Speaker 1: And you just don't care.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Yeah, basically.
- 26:57Speaker 5: We all like to think we've got a good eye
- 26:59Speaker 5: for a winning move. But when it comes to property,
- 27:02Speaker 5: it's about seeing the bigger picture. More space. A shorter commute.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Somewhere near the sea. On daft.ie, you can.
- 27:10Speaker 5: Explore standout homes for sale across South Dublin. From Ranelagh
- 27:14Speaker 5: to Rathfarnham. Stillorgan to Sandy Cove. When you're ready for
- 27:17Speaker 5: the next chapter, start with Ireland's number one property platform.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Daft.ie I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each
- 27:27Speaker 2: week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people
- 27:30Speaker 2: who have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found
- 27:34Speaker 2: a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 27:41Speaker 3: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 27:44Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 27:46Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 27:48Speaker 2: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 27:51Speaker 2: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 27:54Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad.
- 27:55Speaker 3: I need a home dad. What happens next? When I
- 27:57Speaker 3: came in, he started crying.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 28:03Speaker 2: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 28:06Speaker 2: happens next.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 28:09Speaker 1: every day was.
- 28:10Speaker 3: You're worth the work.
- 28:11Speaker 5: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 28:13Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 28:15Speaker 2: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 28:29Speaker 4: Do you ever feel like you forget that the cameras
- 28:33Speaker 4: are in fact not there and you're having a moment
- 28:36Speaker 4: or an argument and you're any different because you're almost like, oh,
- 28:40Speaker 4: I forgot.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I don't have to. I believe you because I don't
- 28:43Speaker 1: think you are performative. I think you're so natural.
- 28:47Speaker 4: Like I see with housewives now. They either come on,
- 28:50Speaker 4: they've been watching for 15 years, right? So just like
- 28:53Speaker 4: if someone who joined Survivor after watching it for 20 years,
- 28:57Speaker 4: they know the game, they know how to make themselves
- 28:59Speaker 4: pop on camera, whatever. I feel like with Housewives, they
- 29:02Speaker 4: come on and you're like, this person's being too performative,
- 29:06Speaker 4: too performing, throwing a drink, acting like something's a bigger deal.
- 29:11Speaker 4: But I feel like you guys are not like that
- 29:13Speaker 4: at all. And that's what I like about it. I
- 29:15Speaker 4: feel like you are always, you're exactly the same.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it is what it is.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Now, you have your own juicy personal life. You were married,
- 29:23Speaker 4: which we saw at the wedding. I know your ex,
- 29:26Speaker 4: and it was a lot of fun times when things
- 29:28Speaker 4: were good. You got divorced, and currently we're watching the show,
- 29:32Speaker 4: and you're single, but now you have someone that you enjoy.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 4: And you told me a little bit about him and
- 29:40Speaker 4: I'm thinking this could be a better pick.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Well, you met him.
- 29:44Speaker 1: No, I didn't meet him. Remember, I had to come.
- 29:46Speaker 2: The next day.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Oh, that's right. You came early.
- 29:47Speaker 1: I was supposed to meet him.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Right, right, right.
- 29:49Speaker 1: And it didn't work out because I had to go
- 29:50Speaker 1: to the next country.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Oh, so sorry.
- 29:54Speaker 4: But- Unfortunately, we see Tracy, who is divorced with two
- 29:59Speaker 4: teenage daughters, and she met a real cute guy that
- 30:03Speaker 4: we met, that I met at your birthday one time.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Eric.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 4: And it happens in real time, I mean, as they're filming,
- 30:12Speaker 4: that they break up. Now, he's much younger. He's a
- 30:15Speaker 4: personal trainer. He's very good looking, though they seemed very
- 30:18Speaker 4: connected when I met them.
- 30:20Speaker 1: But there was a big age difference. What, like 15 years?
- 30:23Speaker 3: More than 15 years.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 30:27Speaker 3: Actually, 19 years, right?
- 30:29Speaker 4: And when she started to date him, it's like, I
- 30:33Speaker 4: think anybody with that big of an age difference, when
- 30:36Speaker 4: it's the woman and the man, like if it's a
- 30:37Speaker 4: man who's 19 years older than a girl, that guy
- 30:40Speaker 4: can have his first, he can have another family at 50.
- 30:43Speaker 4: He can never have, it doesn't really matter if he
- 30:45Speaker 4: wants to, whatever. But with her, yeah, of course she
- 30:48Speaker 4: doesn't want it. It's not totally impossible, but you don't
- 30:52Speaker 4: want to start all over as a woman, like having babies.
- 30:55Speaker 4: But when it first started, I was like, oh, good
- 30:59Speaker 4: for her. She just has a fun, hot guy. But
- 31:02Speaker 4: then it became a more serious relationship. But then it
- 31:06Speaker 4: sounded like, in the end, that seemed to have played
- 31:09Speaker 4: a role.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Well, I think she just realized that he's going to
- 31:11Speaker 3: want to have kids. She's not going to have kids again.
- 31:13Speaker 3: She doesn't want them.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:16Speaker 3: This is obviously not going to work out at the end,
- 31:18Speaker 3: so why waste the good years that she has?
- 31:20Speaker 4: Well, the juice that was dropped in the show is
- 31:23Speaker 4: that also she got a message from a girl, DMed
- 31:28Speaker 4: her on Instagram and said, is this your man? We've
- 31:31Speaker 4: been talking on Instagram DM. And I thought that was
- 31:36Speaker 4: like such an honest, real moment that so many people
- 31:39Speaker 4: have to deal with, celebrity or not. But oftentimes when–
- 31:45Speaker 4: You're the celebrity, a reality show celebrity, and it's your
- 31:48Speaker 4: husband or your boyfriend. And then their Instagram starts to
- 31:52Speaker 4: glow up a little bit.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Why not? He's a personal trainer. Why not? He's on
- 31:55Speaker 1: the show. Sure.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Then it's these women then that might be pursuing them
- 32:01Speaker 4: or want to see.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I wonder if I can get a call back.
- 32:04Speaker 4: That's why I think it's like if I had if
- 32:07Speaker 4: I was one of these reality stars new to the
- 32:09Speaker 4: housewives and my husband, let's say it was just us,
- 32:12Speaker 4: you know, Peter and I are on. I would definitely
- 32:15Speaker 4: be like, I don't want– I'm never going to tag you.
- 32:18Speaker 4: I don't want you to have an Instagram. I really
- 32:20Speaker 4: don't think these guys should have an Instagram. In her case,
- 32:22Speaker 4: she couldn't do that. He probably already had one.
- 32:23Speaker 1: He's 28. But it is a risk of something where
- 32:27Speaker 1: it's like– she goes, was it full-blown cheating? I don't know.
- 32:31Speaker 1: But it was flirting and talking. I think it's bad.
- 32:34Speaker 4: I think when– I know other people when a woman
- 32:36Speaker 4: or whatever reaches out, you just are like, I'm not interested.
- 32:39Speaker 1: And you like delete or block that person.
- 32:41Speaker 5: Right.
- 32:42Speaker 3: People will send me DMs and I'll just say I'm
- 32:44Speaker 3: in a relationship.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Done.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:46Speaker 4: You don't, you know, you don't play, but I think
- 32:49Speaker 4: sometimes it's so flattering to a.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Guy, you know.
- 32:52Speaker 3: You've got to control yourself.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 4: And, but I thought it was really interesting when she's like,
- 32:57Speaker 4: I guess I need to date a seven-year-old who doesn't
- 32:59Speaker 4: know how to use Instagram.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I thought that was pretty funny, actually.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I mean, there's also a happy medium.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Right. Right.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Where you have it and that you just have some
- 33:06Speaker 4: real rules about it and know that you.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Are going to be DMed.
- 33:09Speaker 3: You don't have to date a seven-year-old. You could also date, like,
- 33:12Speaker 3: A 50-year-old. I mean, there's something between 23 and 70.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Now, how are you and Josh Altman? Or do we
- 33:19Speaker 1: have to watch the show to find out?
- 33:21Speaker 3: I think you have to watch the show to find out.
- 33:23Speaker 4: And so in that, you were upset because at one
- 33:25Speaker 4: point you guys went and did a.
- 33:28Speaker 3: We went on a listing appointment together. We were taking
- 33:32Speaker 3: the listing together and then he took the listing on
- 33:34Speaker 3: his own. It was that simple.
- 33:36Speaker 1: And he didn't tell you.
- 33:38Speaker 3: There's two facets. One is that he took it without me.
- 33:42Speaker 3: The second is that he put it on the market
- 33:45Speaker 3: without even giving me the heads up and said, I
- 33:47Speaker 3: forgot to tell you.
- 33:48Speaker 1: About a $ 30 million house or something.
- 33:50Speaker 3: It was a $ 15 million house. And even if it
- 33:52Speaker 3: was $ 100 million or if it was a million, it
- 33:54Speaker 3: didn't matter. The point is that we– that was shitty.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:58Speaker 3: I didn't like that.
- 33:59Speaker 1: No.
- 34:00Speaker 3: And I wrote him a very– to the point, concise text.
- 34:05Speaker 3: And I basically just said, I think we need to
- 34:07Speaker 3: reevaluate our friendship. And then he went ballistic on me,
- 34:10Speaker 3: kind of gaslit me and flipped the script. And so
- 34:13Speaker 3: it made it all about how I don't listen to
- 34:15Speaker 3: him and I don't care about his family and this
- 34:17Speaker 3: and that and blah, blah, blah, just total gaslight.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Well, I think sometimes when a friendship has a break
- 34:22Speaker 4: like that, then you start going back like a lawyer,
- 34:26Speaker 4: you know, and you're like, oh, and remember that one
- 34:28Speaker 4: time that, you know, you flaked on me five minutes
- 34:32Speaker 4: before we were supposed to meet back in 2019. And
- 34:35Speaker 4: remember that one time you did, like, I think sometimes
- 34:37Speaker 4: that can happen where you're like defending your action and
- 34:40Speaker 4: then you're like, but you haven't been perfect. You aren't
- 34:43Speaker 4: that interested in my little kids.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Stick to the point. Yeah.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Yeah. So, well. Hopefully it'll work out. Now, this was from,
- 34:52Speaker 1: I think, last year. But look at this outfit. Do
- 34:54Speaker 1: you think, Tracy, it's quite sexy.
- 34:56Speaker 3: I remember that outfit.
- 34:58Speaker 1: You could just slip your hand right in there.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Right?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Aggressive.
- 35:02Speaker 1: It's aggressive.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Now, this one I came across on your Instagram, which is,
- 35:07Speaker 4: your Instagram is great. I was on it for like
- 35:10Speaker 4: two hours last night.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Really?
- 35:11Speaker 4: It just kept going down. Yeah, because you have a
- 35:13Speaker 4: variety of things on there. I love real estate porn.
- 35:16Speaker 4: I love looking at the beautiful real estate. But this one,
- 35:19Speaker 4: you were an expert in a TMZ.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Article about Kanye's real estate moves.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:26Speaker 1: And what do you think about Kanye's real estate moves?
- 35:28Speaker 1: Share it here.
- 35:29Speaker 3: I don't think he has any. I think he's lost
- 35:31Speaker 3: on every single thing he's ever bought. Stick to what
- 35:33Speaker 3: he knows, which, well. I think the music.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Fashion is horrific.
- 35:41Speaker 4: And I just remember, you know, way back when Kim
- 35:47Speaker 4: and he were still married and, you know, building their
- 35:51Speaker 4: mansion in Hidden Hills. And they were really living. I
- 35:55Speaker 4: think she was pregnant with Saint. They were really living
- 35:59Speaker 4: with Chris.
- 36:00Speaker 1: That was true.
- 36:01Speaker 4: You see it in the show, and I happened to
- 36:02Speaker 4: come by, and she was doing something at the show.
- 36:05Speaker 4: And they surprised me with this. I remember they said,
- 36:08Speaker 4: do you want to come and have drinks with Chris
- 36:11Speaker 4: on camera?
- 36:12Speaker 1: I'm like, of course.
- 36:14Speaker 4: Camera or not, I'm having a free drink. So I
- 36:16Speaker 4: go over there, and we walk in, and they're doing
- 36:18Speaker 4: a pregnant ballet thing right in the foyer. Which, you know,
- 36:23Speaker 4: and it really was my reaction. I was like, oh,
- 36:24Speaker 4: my gosh. But it was that they were living there,
- 36:28Speaker 4: you know, with North and everything. Because I remember it
- 36:33Speaker 4: was like they would do something and then he'd be like,
- 36:36Speaker 4: I don't like this marble.
- 36:37Speaker 1: And then they'd have to pull it out and then
- 36:39Speaker 1: do that. And I was like, why is she not
- 36:42Speaker 1: speaking up and being like, who the fuck cares? You
- 36:44Speaker 1: picked it. That's it. Like, you know, and I think
- 36:47Speaker 1: that's what happened is like more and more. She finally
- 36:49Speaker 1: was like.
- 36:50Speaker 3: I can't deal with this.
- 36:50Speaker 1: I mean, many things, obviously.
- 36:52Speaker 4: But that also isn't a great real estate move. When
- 36:55Speaker 4: you do something and you don't like it, it's like
- 36:57Speaker 4: I would say, well, then finish it up, find something else.
- 37:00Speaker 4: But to pull out like another hundred grand worth of
- 37:03Speaker 4: marble that took a month to put in, I don't
- 37:05Speaker 4: think that's the wisest choice.
- 37:06Speaker 1: I've done that before.
- 37:08Speaker 5: You have.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I had a house one time in the flats
- 37:10Speaker 3: and I literally got to drywall three separate times and
- 37:14Speaker 3: went back to the studs three different times over because
- 37:16Speaker 3: I just didn't like it.
- 37:18Speaker 1: What didn't you like about it? How different can a
- 37:20Speaker 1: drywall be?
- 37:21Speaker 3: The floor plan.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Oh, the floor plan.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh.
- 37:25Speaker 1: And then that house you sold?
- 37:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:28Speaker 1: And then you bought this house that we see on
- 37:30Speaker 1: the show.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Oh, then I bought the house on Bedford.
- 37:32Speaker 4: That this is this green house that's very unique from
- 37:35Speaker 4: the street. And you said your whole life you wanted it?
- 37:38Speaker 3: I've always loved it. I drove by it all the time.
- 37:41Speaker 3: I love this house. It's just gorgeous on the outside.
- 37:43Speaker 3: But I bought it sight unseen.
- 37:45Speaker 1: But wait, I want to hear how that happened.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Well, I didn't really have a choice. The sellers weren't
- 37:48Speaker 3: really selling it. And I just kept writing them letters
- 37:50Speaker 3: and said, will you please sell me your house? Because
- 37:52Speaker 3: I just assumed, I mean, it's got to be as
- 37:53Speaker 3: magnificent on the inside as it is on the outside.
- 37:55Speaker 3: And they were just like, look, we're not interested in selling.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Write us an offer. We're not showing it.
- 38:00Speaker 1: So it was like the heirs or what?
- 38:03Speaker 3: It's complicated. They did not live in the house, but
- 38:06Speaker 3: it was filled with all their antiques and stuff. But
- 38:11Speaker 3: they– so they didn't really want me to– they didn't
- 38:14Speaker 3: want me to– they didn't want to show it to
- 38:16Speaker 3: me because they just thought like maybe I was trying
- 38:17Speaker 3: to get a listing or maybe I was just– who
- 38:19Speaker 3: knows what they thought or whatever. I'm just like, OK, fine.
- 38:21Speaker 3: I'll give you an offer on it. I don't need
- 38:23Speaker 3: to see the house. I've seen enough from the street.
- 38:25Speaker 3: That's good enough for me.
- 38:26Speaker 1: So you offered how much?
- 38:29Speaker 3: I think it's sold for– Close to nine. I don't
- 38:33Speaker 3: remember exactly.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Nine million.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Something like that. So you closed it. Closed escrow.
- 38:37Speaker 4: You never asked for a home inspection and you never
- 38:39Speaker 4: asked to view it, not even in escrow.
- 38:41Speaker 1: I did.
- 38:41Speaker 3: And they said, no, we're not interested. Like, you want
- 38:46Speaker 3: the house that bad? I was like, fuck it, whatever.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Okay. So then you go in.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Well, I didn't get to go in right away because
- 38:52Speaker 3: they also had a year lease back, which they didn't honor.
- 38:56Speaker 3: They stayed for like a year and a half. So
- 38:58Speaker 3: I didn't really get access until like six months ago.
- 39:00Speaker 3: And then I went in.
- 39:02Speaker 1: With the cameras.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah. And it was not quite what I was expecting.
- 39:08Speaker 1: So now where is that situation now?
- 39:10Speaker 3: Exactly as you saw it on the show.
- 39:12Speaker 1: So you still own it. Yeah, I still own it.
- 39:15Speaker 1: And you still are going to make it your dream?
- 39:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I have plans and permits that are being drafted
- 39:18Speaker 3: right now. So I don't know if I'll move it.
- 39:23Speaker 3: That's a long project. I was not expecting a four-year project.
- 39:26Speaker 3: I was expecting it to be like a beautiful old
- 39:29Speaker 3: house that just needs to be cleaned up. So maybe
- 39:32Speaker 3: what I'll do is I'll just buy something, move into that,
- 39:35Speaker 3: and I'll keep this and clean it up and rent
- 39:37Speaker 3: it out or something. I don't know. I have a
- 39:39Speaker 3: couple different options. Maybe I'll spec it.
- 39:40Speaker 4: So if you had a client that said to you,
- 39:43Speaker 4: Josh– As a little girl, I used to ride my
- 39:47Speaker 4: bike by this house.
- 39:48Speaker 1: And I just have to have it. I'm rich enough.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I just have to have it.
- 39:51Speaker 3: I'd say buy it.
- 39:52Speaker 1: And you would say buy it, sight unseen, give the money.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Well, it depends on the price. Like if I can
- 39:56Speaker 3: calculate like.
- 39:57Speaker 1: So you still think this is a good price?
- 39:59Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Okay. For sure. I mean– All right. Well, as long
- 40:01Speaker 1: as it was still a good price in the end.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Nine was the value of the dirt regardless. So let's
- 40:04Speaker 3: just say like even if the house was like blown up,
- 40:07Speaker 3: like essentially what it is, it doesn't make a difference.
- 40:09Speaker 3: I still– Whatever is in there is added on to
- 40:13Speaker 3: the land value. It's a plus.
- 40:15Speaker 1: All right. Well, then that's good. I didn't know if
- 40:16Speaker 1: you overpaid. So that's good.
- 40:18Speaker 3: No, I didn't overpay.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Oh, but so you've seen his Malibu Nightmare. Kanye's now
- 40:23Speaker 1: Malibu House Nightmare.
- 40:23Speaker 3: I think I just went into escrow, actually.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:26Speaker 3: I'm sure he's digging a bath.
- 40:27Speaker 4: How he said, I want the windows that overlook the ocean.
- 40:31Speaker 4: He wanted that covered up during the time.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Yeah. He was like, it was just insane.
- 40:36Speaker 3: Why do you want the windows covered?
- 40:37Speaker 1: Because he's insane.
- 40:39Speaker 3: But he wasn't living there.
- 40:40Speaker 4: No, he wanted the contractor to change it. Like do
- 40:46Speaker 4: all the things that were beautiful about the house. He
- 40:48Speaker 4: wanted like changed. And then finally was like then when
- 40:52Speaker 4: it was like half destroyed, they sold it because it's still,
- 40:55Speaker 4: of course, in Malibu on the water. So, of course,
- 40:57Speaker 4: someone's going to want it. Same reason you wanted your house.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Let's talk about your best friend, Candy Spelling. This is
- 41:05Speaker 4: where you guys are in the back of a car.
- 41:07Speaker 4: She's got a fur coat on and you're trying to
- 41:08Speaker 4: have her eat like a cheeseburger or something.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:11Speaker 4: How did you become so close to Candy Spelling, mother
- 41:14Speaker 4: of Tori Spelling?
- 41:18Speaker 3: How did we become so close?
- 41:19Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 41:19Speaker 3: We've been friends for years. I don't know where it started,
- 41:22Speaker 3: but we've been friends for years.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Now, I asked you this when we were at the
- 41:26Speaker 4: restaurant at the hotel. I met your mom and dad,
- 41:30Speaker 4: lovely couple, like so in love, like the most– And
- 41:35Speaker 4: you're an only child.
- 41:35Speaker 1: No, you're not an only child.
- 41:36Speaker 3: I have a half sister.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:38Speaker 4: But very into each other. But I asked, as a
- 41:45Speaker 4: mother of boys, does your mom get jealous at all
- 41:48Speaker 4: of how close you're to another woman, like a motherly figure?
- 41:52Speaker 3: Not that I know of. She's never expressed it to me.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Have you ever turned down hanging out with your mom
- 41:57Speaker 4: to be with Candy Spelling?
- 41:59Speaker 2: No.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Would you?
- 42:02Speaker 3: No. I mean, my parents are friendly with them, so
- 42:04Speaker 3: we would just go to dinner, all of us then.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Okay. That's the right answer. Yeah.
- 42:09Speaker 4: Now, Tori, whom you're also friends with, who was on
- 42:12Speaker 4: our show together, which is fun, recently said on her show,
- 42:18Speaker 4: if all my kids go to college, I might have
- 42:20Speaker 4: to go on OnlyFans to pay for it. Now, first
- 42:25Speaker 4: of all, I don't think that's going to happen, and
- 42:27Speaker 4: I don't think that's a wise choice.
- 42:29Speaker 1: However— We'll get into another person in this thing that
- 42:33Speaker 1: was featured on one of your videos. Denise, she does it.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:37Speaker 4: When she was, you know, at the Santa Barbara glamping
- 42:41Speaker 4: or had an RV and people took the photo.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I can't imagine how a paparazzi knew she was there.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh. I mean, there's three sides to every story.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Of course.
- 42:55Speaker 1: The two sides and the paparazzi that was called to
- 42:58Speaker 1: show up and take the photo. That's the third side
- 43:00Speaker 1: in L.A. is the paparazzi side.
- 43:02Speaker 4: And thank God there were comments in those that are like,
- 43:06Speaker 4: first of all, this is a beautiful place to go.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Kids love going. They're in a beautiful RV.
- 43:11Speaker 4: Who's to say they're just not having a fun camping
- 43:13Speaker 4: situation or glamping or whatever?
- 43:16Speaker 3: Was the motel a fun situation, too?
- 43:18Speaker 1: What was the motel? Yeah, why was she at a
- 43:20Speaker 1: weird motel?
- 43:21Speaker 3: Well, she started at my house in Bel Air.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Okay. With all five kids?
- 43:25Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 43:26Speaker 5: Uh-huh.
- 43:26Speaker 3: I was in Europe. Oh, so, okay.
- 43:28Speaker 1: So you said, fine, take the house.
- 43:28Speaker 3: So I let her stay there.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Very generous of you.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Nice. Then she ended up at a motel in Woodland Hills.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Then she ended up glamping on the- Santa Barbara. Santa
- 43:41Speaker 3: Barbara RV. The next thing I thought was she was
- 43:43Speaker 3: going to be on an Indian reservation in Palm Desert.
- 43:45Speaker 3: I have no idea what's happening in Palm Desert. What's
- 43:48Speaker 3: going on here?
- 43:48Speaker 1: And would you say what's going on?
- 43:51Speaker 3: We were just like, what is happening?
- 43:53Speaker 1: But now she's sort of settled, it seems like.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Yeah. I love Tori.
- 43:57Speaker 5: I just.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Tori's Tori.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Speaking of calling paps, on recently on Real Housewives of OC,
- 44:05Speaker 4: do you watch that show at all?
- 44:06Speaker 3: I occasionally. I'm friends with Heather.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Let me fill you in because it is about Heather.
- 44:11Speaker 5: Okay.
- 44:12Speaker 1: So, you know.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Heather has four kids married forever to Terry Dubrow, the
- 44:18Speaker 4: plastic surgeon of Botched. And they're very fun to watch
- 44:21Speaker 4: on the show. I never want to see her off
- 44:23Speaker 4: the show, whether it's OC or Beverly Hills. I thoroughly
- 44:26Speaker 4: enjoy watching her. So she bought a beautiful penthouse. Now,
- 44:33Speaker 4: she used Josh Altman, I guess, for that.
- 44:36Speaker 3: She actually bought in Candy's building. Candy lives in the penthouse.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Oh, OK. So she's what? One below?
- 44:41Speaker 3: She's on 37, Candy's 41 and 42.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Oh, two-story penthouse.
- 44:46Speaker 3: 20,000 square feet, baby.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Well, I'm free, Candy, anytime. We can hang out. And anyway,
- 44:54Speaker 1: so the townhouse, whatever you want to call it, penthouse, whatever,
- 44:58Speaker 1: looks beautiful. It's only two bedrooms.
- 45:00Speaker 4: So they are doing another house that they're going to rebuild,
- 45:04Speaker 4: which I think will be a fun storyline. Other people
- 45:07Speaker 4: are like, why is she doing.
- 45:09Speaker 1: This when she's on the OC? Who cares?
- 45:12Speaker 4: You know, she was just on Watch What Happens Live
- 45:14Speaker 4: and was like, I'd love to be back on Beverly Hills,
- 45:16Speaker 4: you know, enough. But what happened towards the end of
- 45:19Speaker 4: last season is once they sold their house through the Altmans,
- 45:21Speaker 4: who had the listing in OC, sold her house that
- 45:24Speaker 4: we saw her decorate and build for so much money,
- 45:27Speaker 4: they went to Disneyland to celebrate. And they were so
- 45:31Speaker 4: happy and just looking out at the Magic Castle saying
- 45:35Speaker 4: we could have that, that a paparazzi who happened to
- 45:38Speaker 4: be at Disneyland caught them looking blissfully.
- 45:41Speaker 1: And right off the bat, the cast members and people
- 45:44Speaker 1: thought they must have called the paps.
- 45:47Speaker 3: How do paps get into Disneyland? Do they?
- 45:50Speaker 1: Well, you know, I don't know. I don't know. That's
- 45:53Speaker 1: she says. Good point. Heather says, I never called the paparazzi. Never, ever.
- 45:58Speaker 4: A new girl comes on and says, I'm friends with
- 46:01Speaker 4: the particular person who sends out the paps. And I
- 46:04Speaker 4: have the text of I said where the text is
- 46:06Speaker 4: just her saying, did Heather call the paparazzi? And whoever
- 46:09Speaker 4: this person is said, yes, she did. And so that's
- 46:13Speaker 4: the story. And the photos do look a little fake,
- 46:16Speaker 4: but also like, who cares?
- 46:18Speaker 1: Like, who cares about?
- 46:20Speaker 3: Well, it sounds like whoever that person is is just
- 46:22Speaker 3: trying to start a fight so that they have their
- 46:23Speaker 3: moment on TV.
- 46:24Speaker 1: That's what Heather says. Yeah.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Listen, I'm going to say this right now to admit
- 46:30Speaker 4: something too. I did a TV show recently and someone said, oh,
- 46:38Speaker 4: I know you're going to be coming out of there,
- 46:40Speaker 4: a friend of mine. I can get someone to take
- 46:44Speaker 4: a photo of you.
- 46:44Speaker 1: As you walk out of the TV show.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Yes, why not?
- 46:48Speaker 1: Why wouldn't I?
- 46:48Speaker 3: Why wouldn't you?
- 46:50Speaker 4: But that's why when I came out, the photos from
- 46:53Speaker 4: that appearance, which was Tamron Hall, I was like– like
- 46:59Speaker 4: I was making fun of it being.
- 47:00Speaker 5: Like, stop it.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Don't take photos of me.
- 47:02Speaker 4: But everybody that has that pretty much, unless it's like
- 47:07Speaker 4: a premiere and it's like walking down the street in
- 47:09Speaker 4: New York and the person is taking all the photos.
- 47:12Speaker 4: Either you call them or your person called them or
- 47:14Speaker 4: whatever to make it worthwhile for them, for you to
- 47:17Speaker 4: be cute, and for you to get your name out there.
- 47:20Speaker 4: And everybody benefits. There's an article written.
- 47:22Speaker 3: And whoever that person was that was fighting with Heather,
- 47:25Speaker 3: I guarantee you she calls a paparazzi all the time.
- 47:28Speaker 1: That person does too.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, yeah.
- 47:31Speaker 4: And then it's like– and then they're all like, oh,
- 47:33Speaker 4: she goes to Craig's. We all go to Craig's.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:36Speaker 1: We all go to Craig's and you don't go to
- 47:38Speaker 1: Craig's to not be seen.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Right.
- 47:39Speaker 4: Sometimes you go to Craig's and no one's there and
- 47:42Speaker 4: they don't care. And other times you get a nice little.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Thing out of it.
- 47:46Speaker 4: But you also get a great meal and you always
- 47:48Speaker 4: see people you know.
- 47:49Speaker 1: So what? Like– And then– but that's the other thing.
- 47:54Speaker 4: If you go to Craig's and you act like I
- 47:57Speaker 4: just– if you just say I broke up– like I
- 48:00Speaker 4: remember this happened with Kyle and Mauricio of OC.
- 48:03Speaker 1: We are separated. We want our privacy, this and that.
- 48:06Speaker 1: And then that night, you know.
- 48:07Speaker 3: Craig's.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Kyle's at Craig's with someone else.
- 48:10Speaker 4: If you want your privacy or with J-Lo, if you
- 48:13Speaker 4: want your privacy, you just go have your assistant get
- 48:15Speaker 4: you some ice cream and you make a cone at home.
- 48:18Speaker 4: You don't have to be walking through the cute streets
- 48:20Speaker 4: of the Hamptons and then yelling at the paparazzi that
- 48:23Speaker 4: you called.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Right.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I think the audience that cares about this pop culture
- 48:27Speaker 1: is sophisticated.
- 48:28Speaker 4: Enough in 2024 to kind of know the drill. Now,
- 48:33Speaker 4: how do you feel about your new acting career?
- 48:36Speaker 3: Days of Our Lives?
- 48:37Speaker 4: Let's hear about this. How did you get this call
- 48:40Speaker 4: of Days of Our Lives? I love that we featured
- 48:41Speaker 4: a little bit of this on the show. You play
- 48:44Speaker 4: a– Drug lord. Oh, are you a drug lord? I
- 48:46Speaker 4: thought you were just a business man that was doing coke.
- 48:48Speaker 3: Oh, no, I'm a business man with an affinity for cocaine.
- 48:50Speaker 3: I actually added that in there when I wipe my
- 48:52Speaker 3: nose and go to the bathroom. I did that. The
- 48:54Speaker 3: director liked it, so he kept it.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Okay, I love that you did.
- 48:56Speaker 4: This acting because I recently saw that you had a
- 48:59Speaker 4: role in a movie when you were a little kid
- 49:03Speaker 4: that somebody sent you about, like, the end of a
- 49:05Speaker 4: world movie, and you were a little kid on Halloween,
- 49:07Speaker 4: and you were playing Dracula.
- 49:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Were you a child actor? How did that come about?
- 49:13Speaker 3: I don't remember that movie. I remember filming that movie.
- 49:15Speaker 3: It was on CBS or ABC.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Like a made-for-TV movie thing?
- 49:21Speaker 3: It was a made-for-TV movie. I think my aunt did it.
- 49:23Speaker 3: You mean your aunt was a producer?
- 49:25Speaker 1: Uh-huh. Oh, this is new scoop. I don't know.
- 49:28Speaker 3: So my mom's sister, Nancy Jacoby, was a producer for ABC. Oh, yeah,
- 49:34Speaker 3: it was ABC. And her husband, Len Jacoby, is Jacoby
- 49:37Speaker 3: and Meyers.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 49:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Just when you think you know everything about your friend,
- 49:43Speaker 1: that's cool.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:44Speaker 4: So did she just throw you in movies or were
- 49:47Speaker 4: you actively as a kid going on auditions?
- 49:49Speaker 3: No, I wasn't actively going on auditions.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 49:52Speaker 3: But I just had talent, you know.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Yeah. So and did you like that as a young kid?
- 49:57Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 49:57Speaker 1: You liked being on set and everything.
- 49:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:59Speaker 3: In fact, I remember I was going to be– I
- 50:03Speaker 3: was going to go out for Dennis the Menace. And
- 50:04Speaker 3: then my mother was like, no, you're not doing that.
- 50:06Speaker 3: You're not going to end up like Macaulay Culkin. You're
- 50:08Speaker 3: not going to be this child actor that spins out
- 50:10Speaker 3: on drugs and whatever.
- 50:12Speaker 4: So you were going out for like a big lead
- 50:14Speaker 4: in like a series. And that just seemed too much.
- 50:16Speaker 3: It wasn't a series. It was a movie.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Oh, a movie. Oh, and that seemed like too much
- 50:19Speaker 1: for your mom to.
- 50:20Speaker 3: She was just like, no, my son's not doing that.
- 50:23Speaker 3: She should have let me do it.
- 50:24Speaker 1: And so how did this part come? By the way,
- 50:26Speaker 1: you look very good there.
- 50:27Speaker 3: I don't remember.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Like someone just called you and said, you want to
- 50:30Speaker 1: do this?
- 50:31Speaker 3: I really don't remember, to be honest with you. I've
- 50:33Speaker 3: done it a couple times.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Playing this role?
- 50:37Speaker 3: Playing Yuri, the businessman with an affinity for cocaine, yes.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Very fun.
- 50:44Speaker 4: Now, I know you told me this on a previous
- 50:47Speaker 4: episode of Juicy Scoop, but- How did– so I know
- 50:51Speaker 4: how you went right into real estate after high school
- 50:55Speaker 4: and was doing well. How did the camera– how did
- 50:59Speaker 4: it come to, hey, can we film you for a
- 51:01Speaker 4: pilot presentation or we're going to do the show? How
- 51:03Speaker 4: did Million Dollar Listing come.
- 51:05Speaker 1: And how did they find you?
- 51:06Speaker 3: I went to them.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Oh.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 51:09Speaker 3: I went to them. I went to World of Wonder,
- 51:11Speaker 3: which is the production company, and they video recorded me.
- 51:14Speaker 3: And they sent the tape to Andy Cohen when he
- 51:17Speaker 3: was– actually like picking cast members and things like that.
- 51:22Speaker 3: I don't know if he does that still. And they
- 51:26Speaker 3: liked it and they said, let's start filming with you.
- 51:28Speaker 4: So what made you, were you someone who liked reality TV?
- 51:32Speaker 4: What made you think, and how did you know the
- 51:35Speaker 4: World of Wonder guys?
- 51:37Speaker 3: Well, it's a very reputable company and they've done huge shows.
- 51:41Speaker 3: They do RuPaul. They do all– I mean it's– Right.
- 51:42Speaker 4: But I'm saying like it's pretty profound that someone back
- 51:45Speaker 4: then who was a realtor was like, you know what?
- 51:48Speaker 4: I know this could be a TV show. It had
- 51:50Speaker 4: never been done before as a reality show. I hadn't
- 51:53Speaker 4: seen maybe on HDTV some sad version of it.
- 51:56Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think that our show was
- 51:58Speaker 3: the first.
- 51:58Speaker 4: So how did you think this could be a TV show?
- 52:01Speaker 4: I'm going to go– I'm going to find a good
- 52:02Speaker 4: production company. I'm going to go and pitch it. Like
- 52:05Speaker 4: what made you think that?
- 52:06Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 52:06Speaker 3: Sorry if I– The show was out for a year already.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Oh.
- 52:10Speaker 3: But nobody remembers that because it was a totally different show.
- 52:13Speaker 3: It was like 10 real estate agents in their 50s
- 52:15Speaker 3: and they were like– it was a weird show. Nobody
- 52:18Speaker 3: really watched it. And I watched it and I was like,
- 52:21Speaker 3: what is this? This could be so much better. And
- 52:23Speaker 3: then that's when I contacted them.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 52:25Speaker 3: And then they changed the format of the show. And
- 52:27Speaker 3: you pitched yourself.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 52:28Speaker 3: And then they got rid of all those brokers and
- 52:30Speaker 3: it was just three young hustlers– And young brokers that
- 52:34Speaker 3: were hustling.
- 52:34Speaker 1: And who were the three? You, Madison?
- 52:36Speaker 3: Me, Madison, and this whack job named Chad.
- 52:39Speaker 1: I totally don't even remember that.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 52:41Speaker 1: And was the money very little at the time?
- 52:44Speaker 3: I don't even remember. It was so long ago.
- 52:47Speaker 4: And did you see right off the bat that you
- 52:49Speaker 4: started to get more people calling you off the bat
- 52:53Speaker 4: without you personally knowing them?
- 52:54Speaker 1: Not really.
- 52:54Speaker 5: No.
- 52:54Speaker 3: Actually, for the first years, nothing really was different. But
- 52:56Speaker 3: I was already a successful broker. So I already had
- 52:59Speaker 3: a huge business.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Have you ever felt that being famous for a million-dollar
- 53:03Speaker 4: listing has hurt you getting business? Has anyone ever been like,
- 53:07Speaker 4: I think you're so smart, Josh, but I don't.
- 53:09Speaker 3: Like all this world. No, the only thing is sometimes
- 53:11Speaker 3: people assume that I only sell $ 40 million houses, so
- 53:14Speaker 3: they won't call me on a $ 4, $ 3, or $ 2
- 53:16Speaker 3: million house. They're like, that's not big enough for you.
- 53:18Speaker 3: And I'm like, what? That's not true.
- 53:20Speaker 1: From condos to castles.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Condos to castles. Doesn't need a show.
- 53:23Speaker 1: It's true, though.
- 53:24Speaker 4: I remember that, too, even with- When we were in
- 53:27Speaker 4: real estate, because the majority of our homes were of
- 53:30Speaker 4: a certain level, certainly not multimillion, but of certain level,
- 53:34Speaker 4: you know, family home, South the Boulevard, whatever.
- 53:37Speaker 1: And it would be the same type of thing like, oh,
- 53:39Speaker 1: my daughter is looking for a condo, but I didn't
- 53:40Speaker 1: want to bother you.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 53:41Speaker 1: And we're like, no, my God, please.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Please bother us. Yeah, yeah.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Yeah, not at all. Yeah. Let's talk a little real estate.
- 53:51Speaker 4: You know, now when I'm driving down the street of
- 53:54Speaker 4: Ventura on a Sunday, there are so many directional signs
- 53:58Speaker 4: for open houses. So is inventory way up in the L.A.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Area?
- 54:03Speaker 3: No, I'd say inventory is much less than it used
- 54:07Speaker 3: to be.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Still? Oh, yeah.
- 54:09Speaker 4: And so the word on the street that I've heard
- 54:12Speaker 4: is that interest rates are expected to dip somewhere around
- 54:18Speaker 4: when you think like mid-September before election or?
- 54:22Speaker 3: Yeah, they've already started. They're going down. This is a
- 54:26Speaker 3: good thing. Hopefully by next year we're at four. That'd
- 54:29Speaker 3: be nice. Now we're at about six.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 54:33Speaker 4: And so do you feel like people are just a
- 54:34Speaker 4: little more tenant? Like, let me just take my time.
- 54:38Speaker 4: Of course, there was a fury after during COVID and like. multiple,
- 54:41Speaker 4: multiple offers.
- 54:43Speaker 1: And now people are being like a little more, let
- 54:45Speaker 1: me just think about it, or what are you seeing
- 54:47Speaker 1: out there?
- 54:47Speaker 3: I think it's just interest rates. I think simply if
- 54:49Speaker 3: interest rates go down, the market picks back up.
- 54:51Speaker 4: But in your case of these big, big homes, it
- 54:54Speaker 4: seems like every time we see one of these offers
- 54:57Speaker 4: being presented on TV at your level or selling Sunset.
- 55:02Speaker 1: It's always all cash buyer, all cash buyer.
- 55:03Speaker 4: So interest rates I would think wouldn't affect your business
- 55:08Speaker 4: that much if everybody's always an all cash offer when it's,
- 55:11Speaker 4: you know.
- 55:12Speaker 3: No, because it's still the person that is paying cash
- 55:15Speaker 3: is not going to overpay for a property. They're going
- 55:17Speaker 3: to still want to pay what the person that's getting
- 55:20Speaker 3: a mortgage is going to pay. Like everyone wants to
- 55:22Speaker 3: get the best deal.
- 55:23Speaker 1: All right. So then speaking about a deal.
- 55:25Speaker 4: So I'm watching the show and you go to take
- 55:28Speaker 4: this Truesdale listing and you say, I know you have
- 55:33Speaker 4: a number in mind.
- 55:35Speaker 1: What is it? And the guy says 18 million. And
- 55:38Speaker 1: right then you didn't think it was worth that.
- 55:40Speaker 4: But I thought this was actually a smart move as
- 55:43Speaker 4: a business person, whether you're in real estate or not.
- 55:46Speaker 4: You like knew that this guy was going to be
- 55:48Speaker 4: adamant about it. And you're like, fine, I'm not going
- 55:51Speaker 4: to fight. I just I'm going to take the listing.
- 55:54Speaker 4: But in retrospect, being that we haven't seen what happened.
- 55:57Speaker 4: But do you do you think that as a realtor
- 56:01Speaker 4: or whatever, that you should speak your mind and not
- 56:03Speaker 4: take an overpriced listing more?
- 56:05Speaker 3: It depends how desperate the owner is because if you
- 56:08Speaker 3: know they need to sell it and you know that
- 56:10Speaker 3: it's going to sell regardless within the time period of
- 56:12Speaker 3: the contract, then sure, take it. It's just you're going
- 56:15Speaker 3: to just have to do price reductions. Absolutely take it.
- 56:18Speaker 3: If it's somebody who's like, oh, so if I get
- 56:20Speaker 3: $ 18 million but it's only worth $ 9 million and if
- 56:22Speaker 3: I get my number, great. Then no, why do you
- 56:24Speaker 3: waste your time?
- 56:25Speaker 4: So you evaluate how serious they are about selling it.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it all depends on the situation.
- 56:31Speaker 4: Another thing I noticed that was different from my day
- 56:33Speaker 4: of real estate is– We always wanted a six-month contract.
- 56:37Speaker 4: It feels like we never see that on these TV
- 56:39Speaker 4: shows where they are like, okay, you have one week.
- 56:42Speaker 4: Do you still get six-month or three-month contracts or like what?
- 56:45Speaker 3: I go for a year if I can get it. But,
- 56:47Speaker 3: you know, I usually get six months.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 56:50Speaker 4: So that we just don't see that element because it
- 56:52Speaker 4: seems like I don't see that anymore.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Sometimes it's less.
- 56:54Speaker 3: I mean, you know, I've done three-month contracts. It just depends.
- 56:57Speaker 3: If I know that it's going to sell with multiple
- 56:59Speaker 3: offers day one, then I'll give them a three-month contract.
- 57:01Speaker 3: What do I have to lose?
- 57:01Speaker 1: But when you know it's going to be a little
- 57:03Speaker 1: more challenging, you're like, okay. Very interesting.
- 57:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 57:06Speaker 4: Now you're doing these fun videos. What is Estate Media
- 57:10Speaker 4: and what is this all about?
- 57:12Speaker 3: Estate Media is a company that I co-own and we
- 57:15Speaker 3: represent most of the real estate talent that's out there.
- 57:19Speaker 3: So anybody that's in real estate is signed with us.
- 57:24Speaker 3: We do their videos. We promote their.
- 57:26Speaker 4: So you do their real estate listing videos. You bring
- 57:29Speaker 4: the drone and you do the whole thing or you
- 57:30Speaker 4: do more.
- 57:31Speaker 3: Oh, that's small stuff. We do like... We do... We
- 57:33Speaker 3: do their marketing letters. We do their newsletters. We do
- 57:37Speaker 3: their podcasts. We do everything. Anything you see, like any
- 57:42Speaker 3: person that's in real estate that is visible on Instagram
- 57:47Speaker 3: or on TikTok or whatever, most of them, I'd say
- 57:50Speaker 3: the majority of them are signed with my company.
- 57:52Speaker 4: And I saw you do an interview where you said, well,
- 57:54Speaker 4: the difference between a million-dollar listing and selling Sunset is
- 57:58Speaker 4: that the million-dollar listing people.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Are actually licensed. Correct.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Correct.
- 58:02Speaker 4: What is the truth? Because I've seen different things. I've
- 58:05Speaker 4: seen that they are licensed, but they don't really have
- 58:07Speaker 4: those listings. And lots of times they're just showing a house.
- 58:12Speaker 4: And to have a mean conversation with each other, they
- 58:14Speaker 4: go to a beautiful house.
- 58:16Speaker 1: To preview for a client.
- 58:18Speaker 4: And then they have their fight about the dinner party
- 58:20Speaker 4: the night before.
- 58:21Speaker 3: I think actually Alvin and I might be mad at
- 58:23Speaker 3: me from selling Sunset because I texted him the other
- 58:25Speaker 3: day and he didn't respond back to me. Maybe he
- 58:26Speaker 3: got upset when I said that none of them have licenses.
- 58:29Speaker 1: One of the twins is mad.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Well, who cares?
- 58:34Speaker 4: I mean, it's all good. Now, we recently talked about
- 58:39Speaker 4: this on the show. I have a house in La Quinta,
- 58:43Speaker 4: and I love it. And it's the doors that open,
- 58:46Speaker 4: the indoor-outdoor, the pocket doors, seamless floors. You don't have
- 58:50Speaker 4: to step down. Do people feel like once they get
- 58:54Speaker 4: a house like that, they end up never opening those
- 58:56Speaker 4: doors because of bugs and flies and air-conditioning?
- 58:59Speaker 3: No, there's such a pain in those. Those are huge
- 59:00Speaker 3: and heavy. And there's like so you mean the ones
- 59:02Speaker 3: that pocket into the wall?
- 59:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:04Speaker 3: How annoying is that to just you have to push
- 59:06Speaker 3: all the way across like the ones that I don't
- 59:08Speaker 3: enjoy doing that. So what do you think? Get them electrified.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Okay. But besides that, do you find that sometimes when
- 59:15Speaker 1: people finally get the house– like it's such an awe
- 59:18Speaker 1: moment when you walk through the front door and it
- 59:20Speaker 1: just goes seamlessly. But I really want to know how
- 59:23Speaker 1: many people really do that like on a Tuesday.
- 59:25Speaker 3: I don't think they do. They probably just keep the
- 59:27Speaker 3: doors closed because they're like, oh, these things are so heavy.
- 59:30Speaker 1: Right. Now you did a bit with our girl Denise
- 59:34Speaker 1: Richards in the fun video about this. What was this about?
- 59:38Speaker 3: That was a marketing of a house that I just
- 59:40Speaker 3: sold in Pasadena. Biggest house in Pasadena.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Oh, I saw that. How much did that sell for?
- 59:44Speaker 3: $ 17, 000.
- 59:46Speaker 1: And that had like an art museum.
- 59:48Speaker 4: So what you did was you got some celebrities that
- 59:51Speaker 4: are big influencers to come and do a video and
- 59:54Speaker 4: show it. I mean, is that the goal then to
- 59:56Speaker 4: get those videos?
- 59:57Speaker 1: And that's very smart.
- 59:58Speaker 3: Denise is a friend of mine. So I just asked
- 59:59Speaker 3: her to do it for me. And she said, sure.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: She's cool.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Yeah, she is cool.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: I love Denise.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: And I think she's, is she coming back to the show?
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: I think she might be coming back to Beverly Hills.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: I hope so.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Oh, no, she's not. She's got her own show with
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Charlie on E! Really? Yes.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Wow. That'll be amazing.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: They're going to have their own show with the girls.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: One does OnlyFans with her. One does not.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: That's going to be incredible.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: That is going to be the funniest. I think that
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: could bring back E.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: That could bring back Charlie's career.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Yeah. We'll see.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: That's amazing.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Here you are dancing around. This is a weird photo,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: but you were dancing.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: There's definitely mushrooms there.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Oh, do you like mushrooms?
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: No, just that night I was on them for sure.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Dancing to the White Lotus music. How do you feel
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: about robots.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: And AI and all that stuff? And how is AI
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: affecting real estate?
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: I know nothing about it. I'm the last person to ask.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: I really don't know anything about it.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Would you ever want like a robot working in your house?
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: No, that's bizarre.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: This is there.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: This one said advanced Chinese made robots. With early lifelike
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: capabilities are poised to enter the global market and some U.S.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Lawmakers are already demanding that they are banned.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: Weird.
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: Of course, some people think that'll be like, you know,
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: people's spouses. They'll just like, why not just have like
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: a robot that's like cute?
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: Oh, that's a great idea.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: And that doesn't talk back, likes everything you do.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Fantastic idea.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Have you heard about this French pole?
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: I saw it this morning. What was it? What was it?
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Well, he's a French pole vaulter and he did– there
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: was this viral clip of him pole vaulting over and
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: he got disqualified because you're not– no part of your
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: body is supposed to touch– Pole. Pole.
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: But his dick was so big that it touched it
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: and he was disqualified. But then they said, no, actually
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: his knee or his shin had touched it prior to
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: the dick. But anyway, he is getting offered $ 250, 000 to–
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: like do some porn or whatever.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: Is he going to take it?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I doubt it. I don't think so.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: I think he should just use this press to be
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: like a model.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Like he's good looking anyway.
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: His dick is not his only thing. There's also this
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: really good Italian looking.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: I saw him.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: I mean, and then there's this really beautiful blonde swimmer.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: Like there's going to be like, if I was Sports Illustrated,
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: I'd be like, okay, let's work on the next thing.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: thing and let's just get all these hot Olympians. And
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: that would be my next issue. This I thought was hilarious.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: Doctors warn against imitating Olympic elite athletes at home after
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: seeing an increase in copycat injuries. People trying to do
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: like Olympic stuff. Like how stupid are people? Like, are
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: you really think that you could fly? I remember used
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: to watching the Olympics, watching the gymnastics. And I was like,
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: oh my God, I just think If I could get
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: my hands on those rings and I could swing myself
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: and it would be like they milk so early, it'd
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: be so fun.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: So when we were at.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: The hotel, they had these rings that you could climb
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: up and then you could sit on this swing.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I tried. I could not even get to the second step.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: I can do the whole thing.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: You can? That's pretty good.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: I can do all the way across. It's really hard.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: I mean, I like it.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: It's like you got to have some upper body strength,
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: which I do not. Oh, Simone Biles said that she
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: got filler or injections. Maybe she got a little Botox.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: I don't know why she would need it. She's totally pretty.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: But she said, I tried it.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I didn't like it. She's very, very honest about everything.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: How do you feel about plastic surgery today?
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: I'm definitely a fan.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: You are a fan. Now, have you had anything done?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: A lot. Well, I know. I didn't know if you
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: wanted to tell the world.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: Yeah. How much time do you have?
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: What have you had?
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: I mean, where do you want to start? I mean,
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: over 20 years, I've done everything.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Have you enhanced your ass?
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: Actually, yes, because I had fat sucked out and I'm Jewish.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: We don't waste anything. So it was really good fat.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: So I had them injected in my ass.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Yes. Where in your ass? Like the upper part, the bottom?
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: I was sleeping during the surgery. I can't tell you.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Did it hurt after or not?
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: No, it's fine. A little sore.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: And when it's your own fat, then it's better than
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: filler because it doesn't like go down, right?
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: It wasn't even, it wasn't like I was like, I
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: want a butt implant. I didn't do that. It was
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: just like, they're like, well, you have two choices. We
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: throw it away or you can use it somewhere else.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: I'm like, well, might as well stick it somewhere.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Okay. What else?
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Didn't really change anything because I mean, I don't think
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: there was enough, but my chin, I've had an implant.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: Let's see. My eyebrows were raised like a millimeter.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: How did they raise them?
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: They take that from the, from the scalp.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: It's not like I did like a Michael Jackson and
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: I did it all at one time. Like I've over
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: the years, I've done like a little tweak, a little here,
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: a little there.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: Cause everybody is saying that you have never looked better.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Well, thank you.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I think this is the cutest you've ever been myself.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: Well, I, and I feel like it's like you, you're maturing,
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: but then you still look very young. Like it's becoming
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: a more like, um, I don't know, like you look
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: like you're Jala, you're masculine, like you look masculine.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: But you're still very youthful.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: I like that.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Yeah. So whoever you went to was good. But yeah,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: and you've had a nose job.
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: Oh, many times.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Yeah. Many times. Why did you have to get it
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: many times?
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: Because when I had my first nose job, I was
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: like 16. And then they, like an idiot, I didn't
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: like the packing that they put in your nose. I
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: couldn't stand the feeling, so I pulled it out.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Too soon.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: No, I pulled it out, period. You're not supposed to
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: pull it out. The doctor takes it out for you.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: I took it out like that evening, so my nose collapsed.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Oh, no. And then what happened?
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: I had to get it done.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: You had to go back right away or did you
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: have to wait?
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: No, I had to wait like six months later and
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: I just didn't, it wasn't perfect. So then I went
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: back a third time. Then the third time it was
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: a charm.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Third time's a charm.
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: You've also written a book. Tell me about the book.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Because you do give really great advice.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: I think for not just real estate, but just negotiation
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: in general.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: My last book was called The Deal and Harper Collins
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: published it. And it is just, Essentially, it teaches you
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: how to negotiate in any field. It doesn't matter if
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: you're real estate, garbage man, whatever you are. It really
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: teaches you how to negotiate. And it's actually really good.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: And did you enjoy the process of writing it?
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Oh, I love it. I've written three books.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: What were the other ones?
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: The first published one was about my grandmother. The second
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: one was just about my life. And then the third
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: one was this real estate negotiation tactics.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Do you remember the book I told you at lunch? Yeah.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Remind me. We were talking about what was it?
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: You said, oh, I used to go to this hotel
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: every summer as a child in France.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: And I said that you should do a little fun
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: children's book. Kind of like Eloise at the Plaza, but
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: it's about a little boy who is, you.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: Know, his grandmother's favorite, but he's also this little businessman.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: So he's like running around and he's meeting people and,
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: you know, so it could almost like.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: It's cute.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: I like it.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Yeah. You're welcome. Thank you.
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: You'll get royalties.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Remember that. Or just a dinner
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: at Craig's. It's been a minute since you've taken me out. Okay. Well,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: no one has. And you took me out of the
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Hotel Ducaps.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Never mind. It's all going to work out. So we're
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: going to continue to watch the show. It is so fun.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: It's so juicy. It's real in the deals. I love it.
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: It's every Wednesday on Bravo. And then if you have Peacock,
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: you can watch it the next day.
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: And I don't know why Bravo doesn't give me more love.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: You and I both deserve more love from Bravo, I've decided. But,
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: and anywhere else they can find you. What if they
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: do want a list with you?
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: Just go to joshflag.com or go to joshflag1 on Instagram,
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: send me a DM or.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: What company are you with now?
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Compass.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: So you, so you are no longer at the same company.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: No.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: As the Altmans.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Nope. Compass.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Is Tracy at.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Tracy is still at Douglas Allman.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Oh, interesting. Well, it's all good. And you and Tracy
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: are still besties.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: Love each other.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: All right. I love it. I love her too. She's great.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: She's the best.
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Thanks. AI is everywhere, but ROI isn't.
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: At PwC, we turn AI into advantage so you can
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: see results, not hype.
