- DadBodSportsCards: Welcome to the Dad Bod Sports Card Podcast. We are here with Aaron and Flinttown Sports Cards. It is the first Bears Packers week of the 2026 season. So it's a pretty exciting week. I've been following a lot of the people coming up on my TikToks, all the Green Bay fans, they're not they're not excited at all. It's all been Bears fans that are excited. But we'll we'll get to that in a in a little bit. We'll we'll start going over week four. like a little quick recap from some of our notes from week four and everything. Then we'll go over the the standings that we have and then we'll move on to the week five picks. So we'll start off. Aaron, do you got any notes from week four? Aaron: I miss Joey Porter. That's all I gotta say. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Yep. For those that don't know, like Joey Porter got traded to the Dallas Cowboys for what was it? A st Aaron: Next year's second at this year conditional sixth. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. That's it? okay. Next year next FlintTown: Yeah. Yeah, that's it. DadBodSportsCards: next year as in twenty twenty seven or twenty twenty eight? Aaron: twenty twenty eight. FlintTown: twenty twenty eight. DadBodSportsCards: Okay, so it's twenty twenty Aaron: Second. DadBodSportsCards: eight. Yeah, so second. All right, so it's not next year's second. It's two years away. So I mean that's that's that's a good pickup for the Cowboys. I I did he play this past weekend? Aaron: I think you put like ten snaps. DadBodSportsCards: okay. Yeah, he's gotta get back into conditioning and everything. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. All right, Flint, you got any notes from week four? FlintTown: Brad Holmes, take your head out of your ass and shoulda got Joey Porter Jr. Cause we DadBodSportsCards: Pla please. FlintTown: have no secondary and our team is ass. DadBodSportsCards: Yes. And so for what for people that don't know Brad Holmes, FlintTown: Yeah. Aaron: Ha ha ha DadBodSportsCards: Brad Holmes is the GM for the Detroit Lions. And we did have a live stream. We got to see Flint's live and true reaction to the game against the Panthers. but yeah, any other notes from week four? FlintTown: Bryce Young was like Moses and parted the Red Sea and just DadBodSportsCards: He did. FlintTown: threw it straight down the middle. Instead, it was it wasn't the Red Sea, it was the blue Hollow Hollulu blue cloolade he parted. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yes. FlintTown: That still makes me mad. This game that game Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, and I'm not I'm not gonna I told you plenty on on the 'cause it was the Sunday night game. Told you plenty that it's I mean I told you so. Like that defense is awful. Goff has to play perfect and he didn't play perfect. Tesla had a good game. Tesla had a good game though. FlintTown: And I told ya. He did have a really good game. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, you told me, you told me, and then you guys scored under 20 points. So I think I'd rather him not have a good game. Yeah. FlintTown: True. But I I really don't understand it. I really don't. Like you go into the sea like off season, don't pick anyone up after losing your cornerback to you know criminal charges Aaron: Keeping. FlintTown: of robbery and all that, so you cut him and you don't replace him. It just man, it it's like, what are you guys doing? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. I mean and they they also later on in the off season they freed up more money 'cause they gave they restructured Goff's contract. So you guys have money to to try to do something. FlintTown: Joey Porter. DadBodSportsCards: Well, yeah, but but Joey Porter wasn't a free agent, so you would have to trade for him. And they just probably just couldn't work out a deal. I mean FlintTown: Would have I would have gave up a second and a fourth or a second and a third. DadBodSportsCards: See, that's see, that's where I disagree with you. If you know that you're a defense away from going to the Super Bowl, first round pick. Give a first round pick. It's about this season. It's not about the future with with the Lions. Because Goff isn't gonna be there like I mean, golf isn't gonna be golf in five years, right? This offense isn't FlintTown: No, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: gonna Gibbs is gonna be older, Amonra's gonna be older. Now is the time. So they should have given up a first round pick to help that. But maybe they maybe they don't think that they are a cornerback away from the Super Bowl. FlintTown: I think they're a couple players defensively away. Like DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. Yeah. FlintTown: because ultimately you have to have like I think our offense can our I think our offense is set. We're a couple defensive Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: players away. And Joey Porter could have been that like one player to help for like if you would have signed him and he's a He's a pole bowler. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, I mean, well is he an all pro? He's not an all pro. Okay. Probably Aaron: No. He's not. FlintTown: No. DadBodSportsCards: I pro bowler doesn't mean anything anymore. FlintTown: Well, true. But Well that DadBodSportsCards: Trubisky, Shador Sanders, Pro Bowlers, I mean you don't you know FlintTown: was like fourth option, fifth option, sixth option. DadBodSportsCards: Well well yeah, that's that's that that's that's what I'm saying. So like like if he was an all pro, that's a different story. And maybe that's why he didn't justify a first round pick is cause he wasn't even a second team all pro. But still, I I I'm gonna agree like I would be more aggressive knowing that the Lions offense is set. Yeah, there's I mean, the Lions offense, they can they can keep up with anybody except for the Carolina Panthers, apparently. But I mean, but you FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: had Tet who had like 190 something yards receiving that game. FlintTown: Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, and like, and then you brought up a great point last week when I was like getting on you about the Lions that we spent like 45 minutes on on the Lions last week was FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: you made a great point. Like, what team that makes the playoffs doesn't have an average defense? And the only team we could think of was FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: the Bears last year. They didn't have the Bears defense was pretty bad last year, but we got takeaways. And yeah, just get your defense to average and then you'll be able to compete. FlintTown: That's absolutely you have to be average. Like DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, at least average. At least average. FlintTown: at least average. DadBodSportsCards: Unless unless you have like a historic offense like the Chicago Bears, but you know, not er not everybody has Ben Johnson. FlintTown: I really to be honest though to be honest, I think even if you have the best of the best offense, there's somewhere that you're gonna get caught up in the playoffs to lose it. You know what I mean? You have to DadBodSportsCards: yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But at least but Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: at least stop the other team. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, but at least you're in the playoffs. So, you know, like FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: the I mean the whole goal is to win a championship, especially for the Lions and like teams like I mean, I d I'm I would like to think that FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: the Bears organization feels it's Super Bowl or bust this year, but you know, their front office might feel like maybe we're another year away because we don't have that pass rusher and everything. But I'm hoping I'm hoping they do something to try to get a pass rusher. But any anything else from week four? Any other surprises to you? You ne Aaron: No. DadBodSportsCards: you that so New England was a surprise beating the Bills, I think. Like that's that that seemed pretty surprising. FlintTown: That i yeah. That was a good one. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: That that kinda caught caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting that. I mean, I I get it's a divisional game and everything, but it was in Buffalo and the way Josh Allen and the Bills have been playing. I thought maybe they would have won that game, but they didn't. I mean, it did take Drake May to play out of his mind with Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: with his no name receivers and everything. But Yeah, and the only other thing the only other thing that I have for week four is I mean, the Bears are the best team in football. Like there's no argument there. Like we've won th we're three and one, and all the games that we've won have been with a different quarterback. It doesn't matter what quarterback we have. They also benched DeAndre Swift last week because he fumbled it again. And all right, you plug and play, Menung guy, 130 yards rushing, you know, and like that this offense is nasty. And Ben Johnson, Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Ben Johnson is showing like it doesn't matter who we put in, his system's gonna work. I mean, yes, if we have Caleb, it's gonna make this system like above and beyond because of his playmaking ability. But I mean, if you can win two games with Case Keenum and and Bajon, like you're you're doing pretty well. I mean, the Jets, I get it, the Jets aren't that good. The Jets only ran 32 plays and the Bears had 34 first downs, which is crazy. The FlintTown: That's crazy. DadBodSportsCards: Jets had f time of possession in the fourth quarter, 45 seconds, which is ridiculous. I mean, no matter how you look at it, what the Bears did to the Jets is not normal. It's it's FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: it's it's not something that you see every week in football, especially with how close these games were this past weekend, too. Like a lot Aaron: yeah. DadBodSportsCards: a lot of one score games And after after I stopped watching the Bears game, you know, I put everything up on multi view and it seemed like every game on my screen was like one possession away from the team that actually lost, like, you know, they could they they could have won and everything. My only FlintTown: Luca Van Ness is out too for the he's DadBodSportsCards: is he up this week? Green Bay? Well good. FlintTown: out for the season. DadBodSportsCards: really? What w what happened to him last week? FlintTown: I think he tore something. Let me check that. Just you can keep on going. Are you looking that up? No, Aaron. Yeah. Look DadBodSportsCards: Okay. He pr he pro he probably tore his vagina knowing that he's playing against the Bears this weekend. So No, I'm not. I'm not. Aaron it, yeah. Aaron: I am. FlintTown: that up, yeah. I just want to make sure, because I I swear it was Luca Vanessa. DadBodSportsCards: 'Cause I know Edrin Cooper was out. He's out for the season. they announced that last week before last week's game. The FlintTown: Or maybe that was a drink. Aaron: It was not Vaness. DadBodSportsCards: Okay, it was it was Edrin Cooper then. Yeah, yeah. Okay. I was gonna say, man, if they're out another pass rusher, like that would that would be wild. FlintTown: It was Cooper. Sorry. Sorry. I knew one of That'd be wild. But that's a big hit. That's a huge hit for them. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, I mean Van Ness is good though. I like Van Ness. I believe he's I FlintTown: Yeah. Yeah, Vanessa's good. DadBodSportsCards: believe he's out of Iowa. Aaron: Achilles from Cooper. DadBodSportsCards: For Cooper. Yeah, yeah. Nob nobody gives a fuck about him. I I why I thought it was Van Ness. All right, and the other thing is if you haven't seen that wide receiver Thornton, Kansas City Chiefs video. If you're squeaming if you're squeamish, if you're squeamish, don't watch it. Don't watch it if you're squeamish. Aaron: Woof. FlintTown: yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I went back I mean I get a little squeamish, but I went back and watched it just because Like when he was laying on the ground, his lineman teammate came over to him and well, FlintTown: Trying Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: he he pat him on the chest like, Hey, you good? And then all Thornton did was point to his ankle. The lineman looked, and then he's like, my god. And it was Aaron: Ha ha ha. DadBodSportsCards: it was a hang like his ankle was halfway. But the worst part of that, he had like a scataboo moment where after he caught that ball and got tackled, which is one of those, what, the hip tackles? Should have Aaron: The hip drops. DadBodSportsCards: yeah, the hip drop. It should have been a penalty. The guy should get fined. That was a hip drop. I he's a From behind tackling him. But Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: like, I mean, that's pretty much the reason why he broke his ankle. But after Thornton caught that ball and got tackled, he tried standing up and to celebrate. And then I think he realized, like, shit, my ankle's not there. It's it's sideways. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: And then he and then he fell down and everything. It's just, it was crazy. It it's crazy. Like, my wife's like, when I showed her that video, she's like, it's amazing what adrenaline does to a football player because he had Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: no idea that his ankle was. sideways and broken when he tried when he got he did get up and he was standing up for a second before it kind of gave out on him. So if if you get squeamish, don't watch that play. But if you want to see, I mean, the adrenaline, like he must have been super high because he did not feel it at first and then and then he went down. all right, so we'll we'll move on week past week four. Let's get to the standings. I have the standings here. All right. So last week the whatnot chat went ten and six. This past weekend, so that was pretty good. They did better than Flinttown. Flinttown went nine and seven. So he came in fourth place, kinda like the Lions, you know, fourth place. They're good. He's getting used to that. He's getting to that air. FlintTown: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: He's getting used to the that area of the standings. Aaron actually went eleven and five. So he did really well last week. And then but he did well, but not above me. I went twelve and four. So, but there was a couple of picks there. I mean, there was quite a few picks there that you know, went against the norm and that that that's what helped me out. So on the season, the chat is 17 and 15. So they're two games over five hundred. then we have Flint in third place at 34 and 30. So he's four games over five hundred. So that I mean that's still good overall. Being over five hundred's good. Aaron is thirty-six and twenty eight, and then I am at forty one and twenty-three. So you'll you'll see those standings up on the screen and everything. But, you know, we do this every week. I could have an awful week. this week. I mean, football's so unpredictable. I got lucky last week 'cause the week before that, Aaron: I think we all did like really bad. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: no, week three I went ten and six and everybody else went seven and nine. We have to go all the way back to week two when I went eight and eight. So Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: Hey, every week it's something though. DadBodSportsCards: but every week is different. Every week is different. Well, like we said, we'll we'll see what it's like towards the end of the season. I do follow this girl on TikTok. I forgot what her it's like she has got PhD in her name. She's a Chiefs fan. But she Wrote an algorithm to do picks, and I think I'm slightly ahead of her computer AI pick doing picks. So I've been kind of watching her to see. Her her AI did did do because I went 12 and 4. They went 11 and 5 last week. So but so I'm I'm kind of interested in that to see how well I could do against like some kind of AI and everything. But I'm not even keeping track. Like I still bet a dollar every week. I even keep track of that week because. In order for me to actually make money every week, I think I have to go like fifteen and two or fifteen and one. So that I'm not going fifteen and one. And I mean, that's nearly impossible. Aaron, did you say someone had a parlay that they ha almost had all the games correct? And they how much were they won? they did. Aaron: No, they did get all the games correct because they had it was Bajan I know the last part of it was Bajan touchdown and then Albuquerque touchdown. DadBodSportsCards: so it wasn't it wasn't like he got all sixteen teen sixteen games right. okay. Okay, it was just some it was just some other part of it. Okay. All right. I thought he went sixteen and I'm like, that's that's Aaron: No, no, it was like sh I don't know, but it he I yeah. No. DadBodSportsCards: fucking impressive. All right. So let's let's let's go ahead and move on to we are week five. So let's move on to the week five picks. The Thursday night game tomorrow night. We're recording tonight on Wednesday because Aaron had to work last night, so we had we weren't able to record last night on Tuesday night. So We are at the Thursday night football game. It is the Tampa Bay Bucks at Dallas Cowboys. Aaron, who do you got? Aaron: I have the Dallas Cowboys. The Bucks do not look good. Obviously they're down Baker. They're 0-4. That team just sucks right now. And Dallas, their offense looks really good. CD Lamb almost set a franchise record for catches in a game. I think he was one off of tying Jason Witten. Javante Williams had three touchdowns. That Houston defense did did not look good. So bad that D'Amico Ryans is now the play caller. Pimba Hibbay's not gonna keep up with Dallas' offense, so I'm just gonna go pick Dallas. My player to watch is gonna be Pickens. Two catches last week with how well that offense played. He only had two catches. So I don't know what was up with that, but he needs to step it up for my fantasy, and also it is his contract year. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: So if he doesn't play that good this year. He might not be getting paid a lot of money or he might go to a different team. DadBodSportsCards: Do you think do you think the Cowboys are secretly not feeding him the ball that way they only have to pay him less? Like I I mean, I think some teams do that, but I don't think the Cowboys Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: would do that. I don't think but I mean it's something to think about. FlintTown: You don't think Jerry Jones would? DadBodSportsCards: No, 'cause Jerry Jones wants to win. Cause he's about to die. So he he wants to he wants to win now. Aaron: Well you gotta think of well yes. Yeah. You gotta think about that as well. FlintTown: I know. He does. He's a fan. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: They just traded for Joey Porter who's also in a contract year, and they also have to sign him. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, the good thing the good thing about their quarterback is, I mean, Dak makes a lot of money, but he's always willing to negotiate 'cause he's he gives a tries to give a team friendly, you know, to open up cap space. Kind of like FlintTown: Well you know what that is? DadBodSportsCards: what Goff does. Yeah. FlintTown: No, Goff doesn't do that. You know who does that? No. DadBodSportsCards: He did Well, no, not Aaron: Dak did not take a team friendly deal. DadBodSportsCards: the original contract. But but every Aaron: like restructuring? DadBodSportsCards: year yeah, every year you can restructure it into straight cash. That way it leaves open room. Goff did that beginning this year. They they moved some of his money around that way, they opened up more salary cap. FlintTown: I was gonna say Tom Brady is the playbook to watch. He did it and DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. FlintTown: gave a ton of money to go sign other players. That's how you gotta do it if you wanna win. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, especially with these quarterbacks with how much money that they're making now. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: Yeah. It's ridiculous, kinda. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. All right, Flint, who do you got between Tampa Bay Bucks and Dallas Cowboys? FlintTown: Easy one. Dallas. I don't see Tampa Bay at all, even close. You know, DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: I said that last week and we've seen how that went. But Williams does look good. DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: You're right. Three touchdowns. I have them in fantasy in one of the leagues, and he was my phone was going off constantly. Pickens won. There's a lot of There's a lot of kinda like the Lions, there's a lot of there's a lot of players to feed the ball. And that's why you're seeing that. I don't think it's he sucks. He just there's so much to feed the ball with Dallas that he's not the number one guy. You know what I mean? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: So I mean St. Brown for the last two weeks, he hasn't got the ball that much, you know. DadBodSportsCards: Is Pickett's your player to watch too? Okay. FlintTown: Pickens is my player to watch. DadBodSportsCards: So I'll I'll I'll I'll be in agreement with all with both of you. Like I'll pick Dallas and then also a player to watch is Pickens. The Bucks did play Green Bay last week and they it came down to one possession towards the end. but I mean right now maybe Green Bay's really bad, even though I said a couple weeks ago that they're probably the most balanced team. But the way they're playing right FlintTown: They're bad. DadBodSportsCards: now, the way they're coaching right now, is pretty fucking bad. for Tampa Bay to hang around in that game. That that shouldn't have been a close game at all. So I I'm agreement with both of you that I think Dallas is gonna blow this team out, especially as a short week and everything. the Bucks are 0 and four. They have a quarterback that probably won't be able to keep they're not gonna be able to keep up with this offense of of the Cowboys. And I think that's why picking s my player to watch is just like you two is the ability that they'll be they'll have a comfortable lead in this game that they'll probably start feeding him to to get him into a rhythm of this season. And then Dallas is d Dallas is a scary team to watch because right now, like the Giants are in first place at three and one. You got Dallas hanging around there. The Eagles don't look that great. And the Commanders, we don't know what they are. Jay Jayden Daniels could be coming back this week for the Commanders. So, we'll we'll see how that division goes. But yep, all of all three of us are Pickens and Dallas. What you got? FlintTown: you said Eagles don't look that great and I agree with you. And I think they just traded another lineman that they had. Yeah. So Aaron: They did. Cam Jurgens and they fleet 'cause Cam Dragons DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: is not that good and they got a second out of them. This is the next year second. It's DadBodSportsCards: They they trade him to the Jets, right? Aaron: the Ravens. DadBodSportsCards: the Ravens. okay, FlintTown: Raven. DadBodSportsCards: okay. Aaron: 'Cause Ravens I think they're down three centers. DadBodSportsCards: okay. Cause they gave up that that big time center last year from last year. he's the Raiders line center now. Yeah, they they didn't they didn't want to pay him and they they should have. Yep. Yep. Aaron: Yeah, Lynchstrom, whatever it's yeah. Mm-hmm. They should have, yes. FlintTown: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's sort of DadBodSportsCards: Yep. All right. Next game is another London game. apparently Jacksonville always plays in London and Aaron: Yep. DadBodSportsCards: and Trevor Lawrence has like the London football records. For the NFL. So we got the Philadelphia Eagles versus Jacksonville Jaguars at nine thirty Sunday morning in London. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: I got the Jacksonville Jaguars. They just beat Cincy. So, like I said last week, if they want to prove themselves to be a good team, they have to beat another good team. Because they haven't yet. They went out and they beat Cincy. Jamar Chase went out with a concussion, but that's still a good offense and defense that Cincinnati does have. Philly does not look good. They're averaging five points in the second half. It is awful. They choked it away against the Rams. They played horrible against the Bears. They do not look like a good team. And they just traded away. I'm pretty sure Jurgis was their starting center. So it seems like they just kicked him to the curb. And yeah, Slayne Johnson just retired. DadBodSportsCards: And their best lineman just retired too. Yeah, yeah. Aaron: So that being said, I don't see them winning this game at all. My player to watch is gonna be Trevor Lawrence, I guess. I can't say any of their wide receivers because he spreads the ball out so well between them all. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: So yeah, I'll pick two logs. DadBodSportsCards: All right, Flint, who you FlintTown: I also got Jaguars. I think the Eagles see the writing on the wall now and they're into dumping and trying Aaron: Mm. FlintTown: to rebuild on the fly. So I think it's gonna be a bad year for Eagles. I don't think they're gonna even try to do and Seriani might be out by the end of the year. I just DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Who FlintTown: it it it doesn't make sense getting rid of your your lineman that you have starting. You know what I mean? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Who's who's your player to watch? FlintTown: Travis Hunter. Aaron: He's been playing really well, yeah. FlintTown: He has. DadBodSportsCards: Def on defense, right? Yeah, because Aaron: Defensively, yes. DadBodSportsCards: he's not he's not running routes and on offense, is he? Okay, Aaron: No, he's not. DadBodSportsCards: yeah, I d I don't think so. FlintTown: Not much, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. So I again I'm in agreement with you guys. I think Jacksonville should win this game pretty easily. I don't think Philadelphia has thrown in the towel yet. We're only week five. They are I mean, they are they did win the Super Bowl a couple years away, a couple years ago, but they just have injuries. Like Saquon's probably gonna be out this week. so we and then their backup is out because he's on IR. FlintTown: Yep. DadBodSportsCards: So now we're down another third string. Will Shipley. You know, if you got those Will Shipley sports cards, this is your week. Yeah. This is your week to make money off of them. FlintTown: So DadBodSportsCards: Cause I know you could have got like like an out of ten, out of five, like RPA, which is a rookie patch auto, for like five bucks. Yeah, five or ten bucks FlintTown: Like ten bucks. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: after this game. Who knows? Maybe he has a good game and you'll be able to sell him for like forty to sixty dollars after this game. Who know? Or maybe even leading up to the game. Who knows? but yeah, I don't I don't think Philly has a chance. I don't know Devontae Smith might be back. I they were out Devante Smith last week. Saquon got hurt last week. I mean, that's a lot to overcome. And they were winning in that game somehow. But, you know, the Rams crept back and then and ended up winning that game. So maybe because they were out Devontae Smith and Saquon in that game and they were able to get a lead on the Rams. Maybe that whatever they were doing, maybe they could build off that. But I Jacksonville's a good team this year. They were good last year. And they're the they stayed the same. They're good this year. So I I I think Trevor Lawrence in that offense will be able to keep the ball rolling and he can set more London records. All right. Well my and my player to watch will be, I don't know, let's let's say Will Shipley. Let's let's see what he can do. this is his opportunity to shine in the NFL. and let's let's see what he could do. All right. Next game, we got the Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: I have the Texans. I'm going to disregard my CJ Shroud comments because he bought he will I'll say this. He bought himself another week. So they their offense played well. They played well week one, and then when Nico was out, they didn't play so good. So maybe it was just they're missing Nico and that connection kind of just. And they're also getting tanked Dell back, I assume. Or he's getting off the IR. So DadBodSportsCards: Right. Aaron: he I think was a 21-day window for him to. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, there's yeah, once they get off the pup or an IR and all that. Twenty one day Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: window. Yep. Aaron: So maybe not back this week, but he's returning soon. So that should help out the offense. The defense is not good at all. But I don't think Tennessee has the firepower to do anything. FlintTown: Yeah. Aaron: I saw 'cause who d who did the Giants play? Or who do Titans play last week? DadBodSportsCards: The the Titans played because Carnell Wright had a pretty good game. I think he had like four. Carnell Tate, Aaron: Carno Tate had a pretty good game. DadBodSportsCards: Carnell Tate, thank you. who did the Titans play last week? they played Baltimore. But Lamar got hurt. Yeah. Aaron: They play Baltimore. So yeah. So I think it was against Baltimore or it was against the Giants. Carnot Tate was looking really, really good out there. And I mean the Titans, they've been in close games. They were close with the Ravens and they're close with the Eagles. And they're also close with the Giants, but that I mean that's the Giants. but I don't I don't I think their quarterback is gonna hold them back. I don't think he's gonna be able to do enough to this Houston defense. And also with D'Amico Ryan's now play calling for the defense, it could be getting a lot better for them. My player to watch is gonna be it's gonna be Montgomery. He's been awful all year, averaging probably like less than four yards per carry. So he needs to step it up. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, this is a good this is a good week for him to bounce back. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: in in especially in the fantasy football conversation. Yep. All right, Flint, who do you Aaron: You still my bench. FlintTown: also have the sorry I also have Houston DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: and I still believe in Cam Ward everybody but hey they don't they need a lot for their team to have him succeed so give me Houston and CJ Stroud. DadBodSportsCards: CJ. All right. I'm I'm picking Houston as well. Aaron's right. Tennessee doesn't have the firepower. Cam Ward in it. I don't know if you guys FlintTown: That about DadBodSportsCards: well I mean, it's just he's just not good. He's just not good. Aaron: Now, FlintTown: He Aaron: what I will FlintTown: is Aaron: say is Tony Pollard's been playing pretty good the last two weeks. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Like Tennessee's defense is okay. They're they're probably about average, maybe slightly. They got some guys on the D line. I don't know if they have corners. I haven't because I don't follow the Titans and I don't I don't look them up. Aaron: There you are. DadBodSportsCards: But their D line, I know they have some guys on on the D line 'cause I know the Bears last year wanted to trade for a couple of their D linemen to give us a pass rush. So and like what you said, Aaron, they had like closer games this year. And it could be because that defense keeps them in the game. And then last Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: week they got lucky that, you know, Lamar got hurt and sprained his ankle. And you know, they were able to creep back. Carnell Tate's starting to come around and everything. Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: But yeah, they don't they're not gonna have enough firepower. I think Ryan's calling defensive plays is gonna be a boost for them, for Houston Texans. And I mean, it it's it should be an easy win. We'll see what Cam Ward to do. I I don't I mean his post game press conference. Yeah, for for all the cars that Flint has invested in him. But like, but FlintTown: Just hope. Just hope for me. DadBodSportsCards: his postgame press conference, like No reporters were in there. And then he he was talking to somebody on his phone or he was talking to somebody, maybe the Titans PR. He's like, Hey, they got three minutes to come in here. The only other time I've ever seen that happen was Eli Manning at one point in his career. And it was his after he won Super Bowls. Nobody came in the room to talk to Eli. Like Eli was just kind of there. But Eli's reaction wasn't, Hey, they got three minutes to get in here. So you Cam Ward's getting frustrated. I think his record as a starter is like, I don't even know. Like it's gotta be more than three wins. I I don't know. I it's like seven and twenty or something like that. It's it's not FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: good. It's not good because he's not good. So we'll move on from that. All right. Next game is the Cincinnati Bengals at the Miami Dolphins. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: Got Sin C. Is Jamar Chase cleared? I don't know. I haven't heard. DadBodSportsCards: I haven't heard yet. I haven't heard yet. Aaron: Okay. T Higgins, I think he went down too? Or DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, he had an he had an abductor, which I don't know what kind of injury that is. So but he should be back this weekend. Aaron: Okay. So my player to watch is gonna be T. Higgins just in case Chase isn't back. I mean, since he should still win this game, they have enough offense. Or my player watch would be Yosevaj, if you guys know who that is, if you guys seen all the drama with that. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, with like some somebody calling his girlfriend out. Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: it was his girlfriend. It's it's the girl that used to date Will Levis. Yes. Yes. I did see that it came up by TikTok. Aaron: Yes. Yes. Sa saw saw the drama. Maybe Yosevaj just has to prove it game, to prove that he's not the wide receiver forty five on the dev chart. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, somebody so for people that don't for people that don't know, I guess she did some kind of TikTok or some kind of social media post. Somebody said something to her, and then the football player responded in the chat, and then it became like a whole thing. And Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: then and then they started getting on on her, like quit, quit, quit dating like six round draft picks or undrafted undrafted rookies or something. Like yeah, D-list Aaron: Yeah. D list NFL players, is what he said, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: NFL players. Yeah. And and then that's when he got involved in. Like it's it's it's been a thing. But she is Will Levis's former girlfriend and everybody knows like she got famous because FlintTown: Mayo man. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: yeah, the Mayo Man 'cause like that leaked video and everything. But yeah, so it it's pretty it's pretty funny. It's that that Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: shit was pretty funny. So FlintTown: You're talking about the draft night video? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. And like but like you know, I mean, whatever, more power to her if she can stay in the limelight and make money off of Dayton D list NFL players. Did you got anything else on that FlintTown: Do you list NFL players? DadBodSportsCards: game, Aaron? All Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: right, Flint, who you got? FlintTown: Since T. Higgins to watch. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. And I'll I'll go Cincy and we'll go Chase Brown. Chase Brown should have a good game because Cincinnati should be able to put up numbers on this and they can just run the ball out. So Chase Brown should have a a a good game this week. All right. Next game up was harder for me to pick. I don't know about you guys, but we got the Las Vegas Raiders at New England Patriots. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: I have the Vegas Raiders. They went toe to toe with the Chiefs. Played pretty well. I mean, obviously it I wouldn't say it was a garbage time touchdown, but they they were really close to coming back. I don't I still don't have trust in New England. That means that Bill's defense is not good whatsoever. And Drake May, like one good game is not this far into the season. Like we're still close, but You know what I mean? Like it's not gonna sway my opinion on him. So I'm gonna pick Vegas. They've they're three and one. They've proven, you know, more than just one week that they are a good team. My player to watch Probably wouldn't be Drake May. He needs to play like he did last week in order to keep this New England team afloat. Because if he's playing like he was all those other weeks, they're I'm not gonna say they're last in the division 'cause that's being Miami, but the Jets might overtake him in the division. DadBodSportsCards: for last one yeah. for second? Yeah. Aaron: We're not for second place. Jets could DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, 'cause Miami are doing it. Aaron: No. They're going over seventeen. DadBodSportsCards: All Flint, who do you FlintTown: I have New England Aaron: Mm. FlintTown: and I I like the Raiders story and all, but I don't think it's gonna continue. I just I think they're a couple players away. But New England and Drake made a lot. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. I'm I'm gonna go with the Vegas Raiders. It was a toss up because how well New England played against Buffalo last week. But I don't know if that's because like all the crap that Drake May was going through and maybe they had a good week of practice. It was a division game. Josh Allen didn't have I think DJ Moore got hurt again that game. So I don't know if he played the full game, so that could have hurt Josh Allen. Bills sh still should have won, but New England's got their defense is okay. Yeah, Aaron: Their defense is good, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: their their their defense, it I mean, they're good. I wouldn't say they're great, but they can get to the pass rusher. But I trust Kirk Cousins. And then I also like the Bills, they didn't get to Drake May last week. I don't think they got a lot of sacks, but I think Max Crosby is gonna be my player to watch because I think he can get he can get pressure on Drake May, which is gonna cause Drake May to throw interceptions this week. that's that's my difference maker. I think Max Crosby is gonna be the person that is the difference maker in this game, getting all that pressure on Drake May. And I think I think Mac Collins is gonna be out this week. And that was like Drake May's number one wide receiver while AJ Brown's been out. I know Dobbs, maybe Dobbs had a good a better game last week because Mac FlintTown: He did. DadBodSportsCards: Hollins was out. So I don't have any trust in Dobbs because fuck that guy. He's a Green Bay player. Although, although I do thank him for having butter hands on a couple onside kicks that he fucked up against my Bears, which helped us with our comebacks. But yeah, I'm never I'm not gonna root for Dobbs. Side note, I did accept a trade where someone traded me a Green Bay player. I'm not happy about it, especially during Bears Packers Week. I'm gonna I'm getting Matt Gold. I'm getting Matt Golden on my team, and I'm okay Aaron: Which trade I did I did see that was a big trade. yeah. FlintTown: How sacrilegious. DadBodSportsCards: with that. It is. I usually don't FlintTown: How sacrilegious. DadBodSportsCards: I try to keep it away, but like there was other players I wanted in that trade, so I accepted it. I'm not gonna say I'm gonna drop Matt Golden because I kinda need his production 'cause my in that league my team is awful. He is playing both. It it could be. But I FlintTown: You know what that could do? That could mess with the mojo. You could you could have messed with the mojo. Aaron: He is playing well. Like DadBodSportsCards: it could be and I am superstitious, but I I think the Bears are so dominant that it doesn't matter that I fucked up on my end. So Aaron: Ha ha ha. DadBodSportsCards: But to get back to this game, yeah, the Raiders, Max Crosby. I'm a believer in Kirk Cousins. I'm a believer in Brock Bowers. Aaron: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: and that, and FlintTown: Okay. DadBodSportsCards: Max Crosby. Those three players I think is gonna help lead the victory. I don't I don't trust. I mean, eventually the Raiders are gonna have to make a plan to trade for a number one wide receiver. you know, and who I don't know who's who's available as far as wide receivers. Maybe they can get pickings. Maybe they should reach out to Dallas and be like, hey, You know, he's not playing well. He's probably not happy. If you don't want to pay him, we'll give you some draft picks for for pickings. because I I think the Raiders, they this this could be their window. and it's good for Mendoza because he can learn from it. You know, Aaron: Mm. DadBodSportsCards: he could sit out the whole season if they're if they play well, kind of like what Patrick Mahomes did with Alex Smith that year when when before he took over. All right. So next game, we got the Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: I got Minnesota. Here's an interesting stat. So PFF put out the lowest passer rating against like allowed among quarterbacks. Malik Mohammed, the Bears cornerback, is top five with forty one point nine. Christian Fulton is number two with sixteen point seven. And you want to know who's number one? James Pierre with a two point one passer rating allowed when targeted. That is insane. And he was a stealer. We let him go. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. DadBodSportsCards: Here I I don't even I don't even know who he is. Like I have no idea who this guy is. So he's a he's a Vikings D B now? Okay. Aaron: And he played well last year. He's playing I guess amazing this year. That Minnesota defense is insane. And yes. Four is is amazing. DadBodSportsCards: Well I mean better better coaching. I mean because Flores is an awesome coach. Yeah. Aaron: New Orleans did not look good against the Falcons. That O DadBodSportsCards: It didn't Aaron: line was in shambles. I mean Shuck as bad as that O line was, played as good as he possibly could have. The wide receivers played as good as they possibly could have. They really don't have a great run game. Kamara's not that good. And DadBodSportsCards: Mm mm. Aaron: whoever the backup running back is, Kondre Miller. He's not like Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, he fumbled. Yeah. And then they they have Donaldson who they started giving carries to towards the end of that game. Yep. Aaron: Yeah. I don't trust their office and I definitely don't trust their defense after what the Falcons did to them. So I'm gonna pick Minnesota. They won last week, only scoring field goals, so they could probably do that again this week. I mean that defense it that defensive line is gonna kill Shuck. My player to watch, it's gonna be Shuck. Like, just gotta see how he can handle that pressure. Cause if he can play well against it, they have a chance to win. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. Who do you got, Flint? FlintTown: I have New Orleans. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. FlintTown: I know they had a bad game last you know Monday. Wasn't it Monday? Yeah, Monday DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, Monday night, yeah. Aaron: Yeah, Monday night. FlintTown: night. I know they had a bad game, but I told ya, Falcons are different with Penix and that offense is kicking now. I really think that Shuck is the real deal. And we're just seeing the beginning of it. He's connecting with his wide receivers good. And I just I don't know, man. I just don't see. I don't see Minnesota being able to put the amount of points against them that the Saints can put up against Minnesota. So give me New Orleans. DadBodSportsCards: All right, so I I'm picking Minnesota. what I saw on that Monday night game is the reason why I'm picking Minnesota, because if you get a pass rush on Shuck, because that O line did not play well at all. And Aaron: No. DadBodSportsCards: the Saints have no running game. Komara did get two touchdowns that game, but I mean, I don't I don't know how he got two touchdowns because that O line was awful. But Shuck is the real deal. what I didn't know, because last week's podcast I said he's young. And he's still got a lot to learn. That dude's twenty seven years old. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: So I didn't realize he's old. He's older. Yeah. He played seven years in college FlintTown: Is he? I didn't know he was that old. Wow. Aaron: Yes. He played seven years in college. DadBodSportsCards: because I mean, you got the COVID year and then red shirt freshman FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: year. And who knows how Aaron: Then injuries. DadBodSportsCards: and yeah, and who knows how he got an extra year. because really four years of college and then you got the covet year, red shirt, that's six. So he even got an extra year. Aaron: There was in he had I think he had like two years where he was just injured for the whole year. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. But you can't red shirt twice, so that's why I don't know how I don't know how he got a seventh year. Aaron: Well yeah, no, yeah. Well if you're if you're injured for a whole year you can get another year of eligibility. Yeah. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Okay, so that's that's probably what it is. All right. I do think he's a real deal. I did struggle with this game because I mean, can real can Minnesota really start the season off five and with no quarterback? But I think Jefferson's coming back this week. That that's yeah, so that Aaron: He is. He's likely to play. DadBodSportsCards: that's gonna do a lot for that offense. Hawkinson had thirteen catches last week because Addison didn't have a great game. Aaron Jones, fantasy wise, he and so I'm gonna say Aaron Jones to keep with the Bears Packers theme, even though it's it's a former Packer. Aaron Jones is the player to watch because he's gonna get 20 to 25 touches. And if you can get any running back in fantasy football with that many touches, you're gonna start him. So my player to watch is gonna be Aaron Jones. I do like New Orleans offense because Olave's playing well. That Vele guy, you Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: know, showed something this last game and then he he showed flashes earlier in the season. and then Juwan Johnson is to me, I think he's a top five tight end in the NFL. he's still available in some fantasy leagues. I don't know how, especially with how the Saints pass as much as they do. And he's one of the main targets with Olave. That definitely, if Juwan Johnson is in your league and you don't have a tight end, grab that dude up. because I have him in a couple of my leagues and I bench Loveland for that guy. and he's I think right now, fantasy wise, he's like a top five tight end. But Even though I'm talking a lot about the Saints offense, I don't think they're gonna be able to protect Shuck against this defense. I think Flores will be able to get to him and get him to make mistakes. And then I think Kyler Murray and Justin Jefferson and Aaron Jones can do just enough to get them in field goal range. And whoever that fucking kicker is for Minnesota is gonna get he's gonna get Aaron: Will Rikert, he is amazing. DadBodSportsCards: he's gonna get seven or eight field goals this weekend and they're gonna win twenty four twenty one. But that that's that's who I got. FlintTown: So I'll have two wins on you guys. I'm catching up. You guys say DadBodSportsCards: Sure, sure. FlintTown: that and you know it's the NFL. DadBodSportsCards: No, I Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I I I I know. I I just like these were two games that were hard, like the two that you picked opposite for me, they're two games that I had trouble with because like the Raiders are going all the way to New England. New England just showed something. So New England's not a bad pick. New Orleans is not a bad pick because of that offense, because Minnesota doesn't have an offense. But that that Minnesota defense is I mean, I don't know if it's historic, but they're fucking nasty. Yeah. FlintTown: I know, they are. They are. DadBodSportsCards: So all right, next game. Another nasty defense is the Cleveland Browns at New York Jets. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: Got Cleveland. I don't want to say it, DadBodSportsCards: Ha Aaron: but I got Cleveland. I don't know if Mason Graham, I was just about to look it up. I don't know if he's playing or if he's out for an amount of time. Either way, their defense is good. Denzel Boston's pretty good. Casey Concepcion's pretty good. They got they got a good team around them. A good young team at that. I don't have a lot of faith in the Jets. I mean, I don't know what it was against the Bears, why they couldn't just keep the ball. And why they couldn't get the ball. I I know the Bears have 45 rushes between Swift and Monungai. So that's probably what it was. But Cleveland, I mean, they're three and one, they look good. Deshaun Watson looks okay. Like I'm not gonna say he looks good, because he can put up good numbers, but he's not going like above and beyond. DadBodSportsCards: That's a whole team effort. Aaron: Yeah. I mean their offense looks good, their defense looks good. I can't say the same thing about the Jets. So my player Well I'm gonna pick Cleveland. My player to watch is gonna be Denzel Boston. He balled out against the Steelers. He's been playing pretty well this season, so see if he can do the same thing against the Gents. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. Flat, who you got? FlintTown: I wanna say I wanna go with new n the New York Jets, but Like I feel like if I go with the New York Jets, they've been falling apart. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: And the Browns defense is good. Let me go with the Browns. and con ch Conception is the player to watch. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. FlintTown: But I wanna say, did you see that that whole Watson thing Like there might th all them allegations, he might be Clean from DadBodSportsCards: W what do you what do you mean? Aaron: Sure. FlintTown: I seen that online. I don't know. I just seen something online. I'm not saying the internet you know how the internet is. DadBodSportsCards: No, but we're what but we're already passed all his allegations. Like he didn't have to worry about anything anymore. He's already had he's already had the suspension and everything. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: I know, but I know, but there's something coming out that supposedly something coming out that actually DadBodSportsCards: Like more like more allegations? Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: acquits them from all them allegations. DadBodSportsCards: no, I mean, at the at this point, like he's always gonna be dubbed as a sexu or somebody that sexually assaulted women. Yeah, like he's always gonna FlintTown: The mass the massage man. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: be dubbed that. Even if he even if he even if you can clear his name, like you'll always view him as the Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: dude that took advantage of Instagram models massaging him and everything. So but g but yeah, so it I don't think any of that stuff is relevant. Maybe it's good for his peace of mind. FlintTown: Yeah, very good. DadBodSportsCards: But I don't care about his peace of mind because he's he's a piece of shit, you know, that sexually assaulted women. So fuck that guy. With that said, I will still pick the Cleveland Browns because the Jets are awful. my Bears just showed how awful the Jets are, but the Jets are also hurt. No breeze hall. I mean, FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: the Jets just had a bad game against the Bears. The Bears had a Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: perfect game plan against them. And, you know, like there's not there's nothing they could have done. But Cleveland's defense is pretty good. The Bears gave a blueprint. on how to beat the Jets is just run it down their throat. And Judkins, and I don't know who their backup is, and and their third string, run it down their throat. Cause Deshaun Watson, it's y I mean, he might get you 160 to 200 yards. Denzel Boston will get will play well. Conception might be get a couple passes. Jerry Judy. Then you Harold Fannon. So Aaron: Mm. DadBodSportsCards: I think there's enough of an offense there for Cleveland to win this game. And the Jets don't have anybody right now because a a lot of their players are hurt. So I don't think they'll be able to come back. It is in New York, and you never know what you're gonna get with Geno Smith, but defense travels, and I think I think Cleveland's defense right now is is playing like as a top 10 defense in the league, and it's gonna keep them in a lot of games, especially against teams like this. So give me Cleveland. Player to watch is gonna be Jugkins, because I think he'll get over 100 yards rushing, get back, get on track for this season, because I don't think he's had a hundred yard rushing game yet this season. All right, next game. We'll have Aaron go last. I'll go first, and then we'll have Flint and then we'll have Aaron go last. It's the Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers. So this game was tough for me. to me, it's a toss-up game. The Colts, that the Ursay's daughter's getting a lot of heat because, you know, again, she's on the sidelines asking the coaches like why they're calling plays. I love it. I think it's awesome. If I was owning a team, I probably wouldn't be like that. But she's showing interest on how she wants to learn the game. And then she's the one who makes the decisions on firing the head coach. If the players are, you know, if it's the head coach's fault on like why a bad play happens, was it a bad call or was it a player that fucked it up because they're not understanding what they're supposed to do? So I think that's good for an owner, especially sh since she makes all these decisions and everything. I I think Jonathan Taylor could have a good game against the Steelers, but the Steelers defense is pretty good. Indianapolis barely beat the commanders. Well, I I shouldn't say barely beat. It was close up until the point towards the end of the game when they just started running away with it because the third string quarterback end was for the commanders. FlintTown: Mm. DadBodSportsCards: but my issue with this for like if this if the Colts didn't play in London last week, I probably would have picked the Colts in this game. And but the Colts are coming normally when you have an overseas game, you're gonna have a bye week the next week. They didn't do that with the Colts this time. So the Colts went to London. Got their butt well, they they won a game, then they fly back to the Midwest, and then they gotta go fly to the East Coast to Pittsburgh. it's not a far flight, but all that travel weighs on your body, weighs on your routine and everything. Pittsburgh, they have an extended period of time because they played last Thursday. So they have like extra time for this game, and it's a one o'clock game. So I think Aaron Rodgers and that offense will be able to get them. I They'll score like 22, 23 points, and then Indy might get like 17 after a couple Jonathan Taylor rushing touchdowns. So give me Pittsburgh, and then my player to watch, let's keep with the Green Bay Chicago theme, Aaron Rodgers. Can Aaron Rodgers have another great game? Not it, not what he did against the Browns, but before that. I can't remember who they played, but he he played pretty Aaron: Bengals. DadBodSportsCards: the Bengals. He played well against the Bengals. So let's see if Aaron Rodgers can light him up using Roman Wilson. I picked him up in fantasies and somebody traded for him Aaron: I did see that. DadBodSportsCards: right away as soon as I picked him up, so I dumped him off. So I will I will run that Roman Wilson hype train right now. So we'll go Aaron Rodgers and Pittsburgh beat Indy. Who do you got, Flint? FlintTown: I have indie. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. FlintTown: And I know travel wears on them, but they're professional athletes. They're used to travel. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, but routine is a thing. FlintTown: Routine is a thing, and I get that, but they knew Aaron: Let him be wrong. DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: No, I think I think Pittsburgh's a lot better than a lot of people think. I just I think Indy if they're clicking on all cylinders, they're a really good team. DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: if they're clicking on all cylinders. So that is the whole thing. If they click on all cylinders, I think they no doubt beat Pittsburgh. If they don't, it's gonna be it's gonna be a rough one. So I I'm still gonna go with Indy and Danny dimes for my player to watch. DadBodSportsCards: All right, Aaron, the floor is yours and the Colts first Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Steelers. Aaron: I got the Steelers. I'm gonna pick I have faith in them. Jonathan Taylor is an amazing running back, but I think our defense defensive line is good enough to where we can control that. We played indie last year. Remember when they had the a historic offense last year? They played this they came into Pittsburgh, played the Steelers, and had five or six turnovers. I think it was six. DadBodSportsCards: Okay, let me let me let me stop you real quick. Hist like historic like as an efficiency, right? Aaron: Yes. Yes. DadBodSportsCards: Okay, yeah, okay. But not because of scoring or playmaking. It was it was just 'cause of efficiency. Okay. Aaron: No, no, no, not because of scoring, but because of efficiency. Yeah. Efficiency. They had a historic offense last year. They came into Pittsburgh and Daniel Jones returned to what he was in New York. That's gonna happen again. Our secondary isn't good. I think Jamel Dean, I know he got injured against the Browns. I don't know if he's returning this game, which would leave Asante Samuel Jr. as the corner one, which is not good. But I don't think Daniel Jones is the quarterback to expose our bad secondary. DadBodSportsCards: But there's no wide receivers either. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Like the Colts don't have any wide receivers. Aaron: Yeah. That's why I'm saying I don't think that team is going to expose our secondary. our offense is playing fine. Like the offensive line, they're playing okay. Aaron Rodgers is playing fine, wide receivers, other than Michael Pittman, are playing fine. So I'm gonna pick Pittsburgh. I don't have any faith in the Colts. I don't their defense is a good either. And the Steelers, I mean, put up thirty against the Bengals defense who has played a lot better. So I'm gonna pick Pittsburgh. And I have faith that they're gonna go out there and win this game. My player to watch is gonna be Michael Pittman. Game against his former team. He has not played good all year. So he needs to step it up because he is the wide receiver two that we traded for in the offseason. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, and I'm glad you bring him up and saying he hasn't done good he hasn't done well. Like he's new to the team. He's Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: gotta build rapport with Aaron Rodgers in order for Aaron Rodgers. Like I mean, Aaron Rodgers is stubborn as shit. So Aaron: Yeah. T S. DadBodSportsCards: he's gotta feel comfortable in order to give him the ball. Like you're starting to see he's starting to trust Roman Wilson more. This Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: is like what, his third season with Roman Wilson, maybe second? At Aaron: Second. DadBodSportsCards: least at least second. So FlintTown: Okay. Aaron: post second s season on the Steelers, so DadBodSportsCards: D Yeah, FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: yeah. So I I I I'm in agreement with you about the the the Pittman thing. hopefully he has a little boost because he's playing against his former team and everything. Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: But he's also been injured too. He's an old he's you know, he's Aaron: Yeah, he did have an injury, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: he's a little bit of an older player and he had an injury in training camp. So all those things says could be the reason why he had a slow start. I mean, we're only coming in week five, you Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: know. I know football every week it's like it's it's either Super Bowl or we need the number one draft pick. And you've already you've already done that. Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: this season. All right, anything else on this game, guys? All right. Next up we got the New York Giants at Washington Commanders with the possibility of Jaden Daniels coming back. So who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: Get the Giants. Arizona's defense is not good, but Giants just put up nearly forty. Without that pick six at the M2. But Giants are three and one for a reason, even with Jackson Dart out. They've won the last two straight with Jameis back there. I don't know why they traded for nine, but FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Depth. Depth. I mean they got it they got it for cheap too, so Aaron: whatever. I yeah. Yeah. Let me. Yeah. I don't trust the commanders at all. They just got blown out by the Colts. If Jane Daniels doesn't play, are they down to their Q B three again or are they down to their Q B two? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, it's g yeah, it's gonna because Mariota I believe is out. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. So I don't trust Jaden Daniels in his first game back anyways, but if he doesn't play then it's even worse for the commanders. I don't think that team is good at all. So I'm gonna go pick the Giants. My player to watch, it's gonna be Jameis. I think last week he had like three or two touchdowns and two interceptions. Probably gonna do the same thing again, but he's gonna get that offense moving, which is what they need. DadBodSportsCards: best part is he didn't tackle his own running back after handing it off to him. So Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: that's the best part. all right, Flet, who you got? Giants or the commanders? FlintTown: All right. If JD five starts I want the commanders. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Aaron: Well out. FlintTown: But if he doesn't, if he's out, I want the New York Giants. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. I'll put you down for Washington right now. And then I'll put a little star next to it. All right. FlintTown: Alright. Alright. And JD five would be my player to watch. DadBodSportsCards: All right, regardless of who quarterback is, I'm gonna pick the commanders. I I that's how confident I am that JD five is coming back this week because they said he's he's gonna have a full week of practice. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: and I know he's been etching to get on the field. This is a very important game for the commanders because if they get another loss, I mean this I mean it's still early in the season, but they'll be and five or one and four, I think. One Aaron: They'll be one and four, I think. DadBodSportsCards: and four. So and then You know, that's gonna be another game that they're behind the Giants, because if the Giants win, they're gonna be four and one. That's gonna be hard to come back from, especially in this division with the Cowboys and Eagles. but I'm gonna give it to the commanders. It's a home game for them. I FlintTown: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: do like what the gi I do like what the Giants are doing because they're they got better coaching now. and I love Jameis Winston. Like I'm a huge fan of him. But I th neighbors is a little banged up. He'll probably play and he had a really good game last week. Yeah. And Jameis, FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I don't think, has eaten any crabs this week. So I'm going to give FlintTown: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: it to the commanders. My player to watch is going to be JD5 because he was playing pretty decent before he got hurt. He's got FlintTown: It was DadBodSportsCards: digs to throw to. He's got McLaurin. so he's got some weapons on offense there. And if they get a little bit of boost and they put like 30 points up, I think they could score more than the Giants. Because Jameis FlintTown: Yo. DadBodSportsCards: Winston is going to give you one or two picks possibly in this game. for the commanders to come out ahead. but yeah, like w we have Flint on the contingent that JD five is is playing. If he's not, then we'll switch him to the Giants. But for me, I'm I'll Aaron: Mm. DadBodSportsCards: stick with the commanders. All right, next game, Denver Broncos at LA Chargers. Who you got, Aaron? Okay. Aaron: Got Denver. It's gonna be closer than we think. Denver's offense is not good. Bo Nicks is not a good quarterback. he's afraid to throw over the middle of the field, even if the player's wide open. He's just checked down, check down, check down. Chargers are also not good. But I mean they showed promise against the Seahawks and they ended up losing, but they did play better than weeks before. I just think Denver's defense is gonna be able to hold the Chargers down enough points where the offense can do a little bit of something and Denver will win. My player to watch is gonna have to be Bo Nicks. If he plays like he did last week, they're not winning this football game. So he needs to get more aggressive in the way he throws the DadBodSportsCards: Yep. Who do you got, Flint? FlintTown: I also got Denver. what are the Charger they haven't won a game, have they? Aaron: Nope, own four. DadBodSportsCards: No, they're all in four. FlintTown: That's crazy. If you really think about it, you know what I Aaron: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: mean. I think they're due a win. I just don't know if it's gonna be against Denver. Cause DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: I think Denver's defense is good, you know? And Bonex will win games. I know he doesn't like to throw over the middle and stuff like that, but I've seen him come back and win games too. So I gotta go with Denver. And my DadBodSportsCards: Okay. FlintTown: player to watch. Sertan. I think DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Is he is he playing? He's cleared this week? 'Cause I know he got hurt last week. FlintTown: he is. I think he is. DadBodSportsCards: Aaron, can you check that while I talk? All right. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I'm I'm picking Denver. My player to watch is gonna be I don't I don't even know. Let's let's say Cortland Sutton. Like he hasn't done anything, but neither has Waddle. Waddle really hasn't done anything either this year. Denver's winning because they do enough in passing with Bonex and their defense keeps them in the games. I don't know how big I mean, if Sertan's playing this weekend. Aaron: He mispractice a bit. DadBodSportsCards: He mispractice today. Wha what what did they say? Is it ankle? FlintTown: Is he like day to day? Aaron: He's weak to weak. They said he'd knock Yeah. Probably not. DadBodSportsCards: So he's not playing he's not playing this week if they say week to week. but even with that, I don't think the Chargers have enough on the offense. I th I do I agree with you, Flynn. I think they're due. I just don't know when that's gonna happen. 'Cause they're their schedule coming up and they're on the gauntlet and then and then FlintTown: I know. It's it's rough. Yeah, yeah. They're ro it's rough. Aaron: They're on the gauntlet right now. DadBodSportsCards: teams are starting to reach out to them already for like Khalil Mack and other players. Yeah, yeah. But he'll s he'll still get you he'll still get Yeah. But FlintTown: Yep. What dad bad wants something? Aaron: Max still on the team? Jesus He's still good, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: The the Bears of the City of Chicago wants Khalil Mack back. 'cause they know he he'll be a specialist. He's Aaron: And I forgot about that. DadBodSportsCards: just a pass rusher that we that we need him for. he's probably thirty he's gonna be like thirty four, thirty-five. FlintTown: How old is he? Like thirty five thirty. DadBodSportsCards: but he'll but last year he had I think last year he had a game where he had five sacks. So Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: he was he had double digit sacks last year too. He'll still get you double digit sacks, and that's what the that's what we need is for the Bears, another pass rusher. I mean he's not elite. He's not an elite pass rusher anymore. But but but we the city of Chicago loves him because of what he did like when he c Aaron: Thirty five. Yeah. FlintTown: Yeah. Thirty five, wow. Well yeah. DadBodSportsCards: when we when we first got him. Like our I mean he made Tremisky look good. Three Aaron: Yeah. Man, I remember that. He has three sacks us here. Wow. DadBodSportsCards: s three sacks. Yeah. So I mean that's that's not bad. FlintTown: It's decent. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: but yeah, Denver, Cortland Suns my player to watch Chargers, I mean, this isn't their season. They they might as well look at it. They they should look into getting rid of Herbert. Like Maybe trade Herbert, get some draft picks for him, and then move on from that. Fire Harbaugh. I like I love Jim Harbaugh, but he's not the right guy for the Chargers. And move on from him and just start the whole thing over. FlintTown: I was gonna say this and sorry to cut you off if I cut you DadBodSportsCards: No you get. FlintTown: off. think about in the beginning before like football started and they hired Mike McDaniels and everybody thought, man, this is gonna be crazy offense. What happened? DadBodSportsCards: They don't they don't have the players. There's n Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: there's no one good on their offense FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: beside no, there's no one good on their offense. They just have Herbert. He's not good. I just picked him up in fantasy, but he's not FlintTown: O'Marian Hampton. I think he's good. DadBodSportsCards: good. He's not good. Aaron: They're not good wide receivers. Yeah, DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, they don't have any wide receivers either. FlintTown: Lad. Aaron: you also gotta think Mike McDaniel, he's from the Shanahan tree, I'm pretty sure, right? But he FlintTown: Yeah. Aaron: also had Tyreek, he had Waddle, he had Achan, or he had r most dirt when Mostert was still good. Yes. DadBodSportsCards: He had fast wide receivers and the his FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: his whole thing is like the whole scheme, right? Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: You like I mean he made Tua look good in his Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: system, right? And t Tua is is awful now, but you had Tua because everything was timing and everything. He doesn't have that. I mean, Quentin Johnson is I liked him when he came out of college. I wanted the Bears draft him in the first round because I thought he was gonna be an awesome wide receiver. That dude is not good. Vlad Aaron: Mm mm mm. FlintTown: No, he ain't. DadBodSportsCards: McConkey's not your number. He's not gonna be an he's never gonna be a number one. McConkie is a number three. He's not even number two. He's he's number three. FlintTown: No, he's a number two. two. DadBodSportsCards: He's a guy, he's like an Edelman, right? Unless you have fucking FlintTown: Yeah, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: like Edelman was trash, but the only reason why Edelman was really good because he had Tom Brady, right? So, and Tom Brady used to throw like eight yard passes, seven yard passes to Edelman. That's where lad McConkey can shine. They just don't have a deep threat. No one's scared of Johnston, so you're not doubling him. they don't have the players. That's why I say like. Unless you start getting the players, but I don't see how they're gonna get it because you know, I mean, yes, LA is a desirable spot for people to go, but they don't wanna pay taxes, even though the weather's FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: great all year. I mean, all those things are factors, but it's like I don't see it anytime soon, especially the division that they're in with the Chiefs, the Broncos, they have their quarterbacks, possibility that the Raiders could have their future quarterback in Mendoza. But I don't know. I like it's it's FlintTown: And LA Chargers have no fan base. Like it's it's horrible. You know, it's DadBodSportsCards: They don't because they all Yeah, yeah. Yeah. FlintTown: like DadBodSportsCards: They they have good coaching. It's just isn't showing, it's not gelling right now for whatever reason. But like it takes time to learn a new system, especially like how that system is all about timing. And if you don't have the players to do it, like yeah, McM McDaniels sounds great on paper, but you gotta have the right personnel to run the kind of offense that he wants to run. I don't I don't think they have it. That's why you see on the running back they try to use that fast guy. I think it's Vidal. Or it's like V I D A L, that guy. They use a lot of Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: him because he's shifty. He's quick. Hampton isn't shifty and quick. He's he's more of like your every down back and everything. But you gotta have someone to change the pace in McDaniel's offense. All right. let's see. Next game. Okay, so on our sheets, it says this game is at 425. it used to be the game of the week, but then Caleb is out this game and the Packers suck this year. So this game actually got flexed to the one o'clock game, so it's just like any other game. I think in most areas it is on everybody's TV at one o'clock except for the New York area because the Gi the Giants will have priority. But everybody should be able to watch this game on Sunday. We got the Chicago Bears at the Green Bay Packers. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: Give me the bears. Dio Audabango is motivated. He's gonna get multiple sacks against that shitty Packers O line. O Dango, I've seen he's not playing terrible. It's not like last year. He's he stepped it up this year, so maybe he really is motivated. DadBodSportsCards: Last year he tore his Achilles, so Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Aaron: Was that part of it too? I ca I can't remember. I just remember all the memes. Yeah. That offense, they're gonna do well against the Packers def Packers defense is not good. They held Bucks to fourteen, but that's the Bucks. Their offense is not good. They only scored seventeen to the Bucks. it is a rivalry and it is in Green Bay. But Chicago these last few weeks, I saw a stat, they've scored less combined points in their last three weeks than their first week, but they've also allowed less points over the last three weeks than their first week. So Their defense has stepped it up a lot. Mohammed's turning out to be a good corner. And I don't think Green Bay is gonna be able to first of all keep up with Chicago's offense. Because even though they don't have Caleb, their offense is still good. And they're gonna have a tough time with the Chicago Bears defense, which is crazy to say. My DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: player to watch, it's gonna be Dio Dengba. That Packers O-line sucks. And He's gonna be the one that's gonna get there and get a couple sacks. Maybe knock him out like Austin Booker did. Hopefully. DadBodSportsCards: Hopefully. Hopefully. All right, Flint. Who do you FlintTown: This a hard one, 'cause it is in Green Bay. DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: And I mean Aaron: Mm-hmm. Woo! FlintTown: Get that shit out of here. Gimme the bees. DadBodSportsCards: There we go. Aaron: Why would you even own that thing? DadBodSportsCards: You have to, you gotta like we need to get you like a Vikings thing too. FlintTown: I got yeah, Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Ha ha ha. FlintTown: I'm not gonna do it. I'm not gonna do it. the Hornet? That would be actually pretty cool. DadBodSportsCards: No, we we don't want to see you blow the horn. I'm just talking about like the horn hat. The horn hat. That would be pretty cool. So if anybody Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: watching, all three of you, even though we're at fifty two subscribers now, but if any FlintTown: Yeah, see? DadBodSportsCards: anybody that's a Minnesota fan, especially if you're watching, if you can send us a Vikings thing, especially if you're Minnesota, we would love to to take one, reach out to one of us. Like I'll pay for it if we have to. That's fine. But if we can get one of those, that'd be pretty cool. FlintTown: That would be cool. Rome is my player to watch. I DadBodSportsCards: Okay. FlintTown: know you've been telling you've been saying he's been struggling, dropping passes, stuff like that. He needs to step up. DadBodSportsCards: He does. And he play he played well last week against the Jets. They got him the ball more. but Ben Johnson talked about that in the postgame. He's like, we got a lot of players that they're trying to feed. And he says one of the things he's happy about that like a lot of the players are unselfish. And then he went on to tell a story of how like Tooney offered to block on special teams because they were having issues on that. And they were saying a lot of other players were Offering to play more special teams if they have to, like star players and everything. And he appreciates that. He doesn't need them to do that, but he appreciates that mindset, the whole team mindset that's going on right now in Chicago. obviously I'm gonna pick the Bears, but I do have a lot of worries because everything's in our favor. And as a Bears fan, I'm sure as a Lions fan, when you feel like everything's in your favor, you're just like at some point something's gonna fuck up, right? The good thing, I mean. The good and bad thing is Caleb's not gonna be out there, so he's not gonna get hurt. Cause that could be like the bad thing, right? That happens for us. Like what kind of like what happened against against Minnesota. My the big we could have Kyler Gordon coming back. And I know a lot of Bears fans like Kyler Gordon. I can't fucking stand him because I think he's a bitch. And he should be team first rather than him training with his trainers who is a felon or whatever. And putting himself and his himself first before the team. I don't like that. But he could be coming back. Some people think he'll give us a boost to our secondary. I don't know. maybe because he was hurt last year, because when he came back for the Green Bay game, Christian Watson fucking destroyed him in in the slot. Like they were targeting Tyler Aaron: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: Gordon in that game, and he could not keep up with Watson or Matt Golden, Matthew Golden. So we do have a nickel corner now. I mean Muhammad's playing pretty well. Maybe they keep him at you know on the outside or maybe Watson, he'll be Garden Watson. I don't know. I want I'm curious about that matchup. But I think Kyler Gordon, he could be a liability. We'll we'll s we'll see. We'll we'll see how he is. but everything is pointing, like even my fucking TikTok algorithm is showing me Packers fans not even wanting to talk shit. They're just like like the Bears are good. And Aaron: Ha ha. DadBodSportsCards: right now we are bad. FlintTown: Well they know Jordan Love sucks. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, Jordan Love sucks. And then on top of that, you got Matt LaFleur who's conservative. And then you got Matt LaFleur coming out when they asked him about the rivalry. He's like, he's Aaron: I did see this, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: like, it's about the players, not the coaches. It's like, what? He's Aaron: Wow. DadBodSportsCards: like, it's about the players and everything. He didn't even want to talk about Ben Johnson. That's how much of a pussy Matt LaFleur is. He doesn't even want to talk about Ben Johnson because he understands that Ben Johnson owns him. And When I knew that we were gonna win this game was right after that Jets game when he before he did his good better best, he talked to the Bears in the locker room and he's like, you what week it is? Like he's already ready. Like he's already ready for the Packers because he under he takes this rivalry like very seriously because he understands what it means to Bears fans, the city of Chicago and everything. For all those years that Aaron Rodgers fucking owned us, right? Now it's our time. We got Ben Johnson, we got Caleb. And even though Caleb might not be playing, he he w he wants to run it down their throat. And you got Luther Burden in the press conference this week, earlier this week, he's he says, We want to destroy them and we want to make them quit. So the Bears' mindset is to fucking run all over this fucking team and not only like beat them, but rip their souls out of their body to let them know that they don't even compare. And then before we came on tonight, FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Jared, Jared Payton is Walter Payton's son. I saw a TikTok before we came on here that he said during Bears Packers Week in his house growing up, his dad, Walter Payton, didn't talk to anyone in the family all week because he was he was locked FlintTown: Mm. DadBodSportsCards: in. He was locked in that it's Bears Packers Week, and his only mindset was thinking about beating the shit out of the Bears. And Jared Payton was saying. We'd be sitting at the dinner table in silence because because my dad was not talking at all because he was locked in. He understand what it means to the fans and how bad they want to beat the Packers. So I think the Bears have come back with that mindset with having Ben Johnson. These players feed off of that. Like, I mean, the we're gonna run all over them. Like we have the number one offense in the NFL, and we've had three quarterbacks. in in four games and we have the number one offense, which is ridiculous because as the Bears having the number one offense, like you don't think of anything. And then when everybody thinks about the number one offense, they think about passing, the quarterback, receiving. This team is running all Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: over everybody. The only team that they couldn't run all over was Minnesota because Minnesota beat the shit out of us, right? Green Bay right now isn't tough. They're not tough. They're not going to beat the shit out of us. If anything Like this could be the game that gets Matt LaFeur fired. If we put up 30 to 40 points and just destroy them, if we beat them down like the way we beat the Jets and how we beat the Panthers, we give a lot of points to the Panthers, but let's say we beat them down like scoring that many points and then keeping and like just controlling the whole game, Matt LaFleur is going to be fired. He has to get fired. FlintTown: I think that the Packers are on the downfall of their so righteousness and you're gonna see that they're not. But DadBodSportsCards: Right. I mean they're not used they're not used to losing. They're not and FlintTown: I think it's the downfall for at least a couple years. DadBodSportsCards: It could be. They ha they have some players, but they have no rushing FlintTown: I do. DadBodSportsCards: they have no running game. And that's that's what's FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: killing them right now because LaFleur likes to do play action. He's like he's a conservative coach. Like, yes, like Christian Watson and Matthew Golden and all those in previous years, Dobbs and Jaden Reed and Tucker Kraft were playing really well, but that's because they had a running back that would get them like the rushing game will get them over like a hundred, a hundred fifty yards a game. So you could do the play action. Jordan Love needs that. But if you have to rely on Jordan Love passing the ball fifty times, at least fifteen of those passes are going straight to a Bears player. We might not catch all, but we've all seen the clips. You put Aaron: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: a little pressure on Jordan Love and he's running around, he throws it up. It's like, that's a good throw. And there's no Packers wide receiver anywhere. It's just straight to a defender. So it was a couple weeks ago. It's it's like that almost every week. It's almost like that every week. I don't know. Like I I'm FlintTown: It was a couple weeks ago. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. It's every week. DadBodSportsCards: I'm a hundred percent confident we're gonna win this game, and I don't like it because that's not what it's supposed to feel like going into this week. maybe this is how Packers fans felt all these years Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: playing against the Bears is like you're just so confident that if you lose, like, holy shit, we lost. It must it was a miracle. And in which case, like miracles did happen for the Bears, you know, for us to come back in in those games. But yeah, give me Chicago. My player to watch is gonna be Caleb Williams. I still think there's a small chance that he plays. And the reason why I say that is FlintTown: And DadBodSportsCards: because why would our head coach on Monday announce that Tyson Bajant is the starting quarterback this week when he didn't want to say who the starter was last week because he wanted that competitive advantage? And then when reporting came out and said Bajant is going to be starting, he put Case Keaton out there to say fuck you to the media because he never said Bajant was starting. So the very first play on our own 10, they brought out just It's not even a play to to enhance anything. It was a play to say fuck you to the media. I think he's doing the same thing. It's like he's saying fuck you to media. They're probably having Caleb work in his robe in in the dark somewhere and you know hidden from the media. That way nobody thinks he's practicing or anything. They're just think he's getting treatment. But I guarante I bet there I bet there's something because there's no reason he's gonna Say Tyson Bajan's the quarterback starting week one when when on film he didn't look that great last week against the Jets. That gives the Packers something to go on off of. There was at least three interceptions that Bajant threw last week. Two of them got called back because of penalties. But there was he and then he threw a pick. And that was that was the Jets' first interception in twenty games. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Like and the Bajant was the one who gave it to them. The Bears were the one that gave it to them. So I don't know. I think but my player watching could be Caleb Williams. Like I I think in some in some way he's gonna be playing. I it's probably more hope than anything, because I really want him back on the field because I want to see what this team could do with how well we're playing with him at quarterback. All right, that's all I got for the beard. You guys got anything anything on this game besides fuck Green Bay? Aaron: Nope. DadBodSportsCards: Nope. All right. All right, so we all picked Chicago on that one. The next game is another NFC North game. We'll have Flint go last on this one. Aaron first, me second, and then Flint last. We got the Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals. Aaron: Got Detroit. Arizona and the Panthers strike me as a similar team. As offensively. Offensively, they strike me as a similar team. Defensively, we can look at Panthers and say, okay, they're a lot better defensively. And because of that, I don't like I don't like Arizona's defense at all. Their defense is not good. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, Jameis has torn up. Yeah. Aaron: So that's why I'm gonna pick Detroit. Like I I picked Detroit last week because I said the Panthers are a team that they could score like forty, you know, thirty to forty. But they I mean they could also let up the same amount. And everything. I think Arizona is gonna put up like thirty to forty. Well not forty. I don't think I think they're gonna put up thirty, but Detroit's gonna put up forty. This is a scary game for Detroit because you don't know what's gonna happen out there. Because if your offense plays like it did against the Panthers, which wasn't the greatest. Arizona has a shot to win this game. Just because they have so much firepower on their offense. I'm gonna pick Detroit. They're seem like the safer bet. my player to watch. It's gonna be Michael Wilson. He's played better in the last couple weeks, but he's not playing you know, as I want him to. Because I think again, I have one DadBodSportsCards: You have them on fantasy, yeah. Aaron: fantasy, but I'm also a big believer in him. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. All right. So I I will pick Detroit as well. This game is a toss up for me. I think I I think it's gonna be a shootout. It could be forty eight to like 'cause you're right, I don't think Arizona could put up forty. Almost anybody could probably put up forty on this defense, but I I I think I think the Lions will be able to control the ball a little bit more with Gibbs. That they're able to get to 48 points, but the Cardinals will be around in the 30s. Like that there's too much, there's too much offensive firepower on the Lions for them to lose this game. Carolina's defense is better than I think what people think they were, because the Bears put up 59 on them. and people automatically assume that Detroit would would be able to do the same thing, score 40 points on them and everything. But Detroit's defense is fucking awful. Brissett. Is going to have over 300 yards passing. Michael Wilson's going to have over 150 yards receiving. Marvin Harrison Jr. might have 100 yards receiving against this defense. That's how bad Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: this defense is. But I don't think Arizona's defensive line will put a lot of pressure. They'll get some pressure on Goff, but I think Goff will get the ball to his key players. I think Amonro is going have a big game because Goff was able to feed J-Mo last week. He was able to feed Tesla. Laporta got in on action. The two players that didn't get in on action was Amonra and Gibbs. And maybe the Lions look at that. It's like, hey, we need Gibbs and Amonra to blow up in order to get us to like the 30 to 40 points because we know our defense. it'll be nice if you could feed Amonra and Gibbs, and then also have another one of those players like J Mo, Laporta, or Tesla have a good game along with them and everything. give me the Detroit Lions. My player to watch is it's always it's always gonna be Jared Goff. It's because everything to me like relies on Jared Goff. He he had, did he have over 400 yards last game? He did. He had 412 yards last game. FlintTown: And it had like brrrr yeah, whoa. Aaron: He did four hundred twelve looking at it right now, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: But like I said, he has to be perfect. He has to be FlintTown: Monster game. DadBodSportsCards: perfect. And that's so much pressure on him. That he has to play like that every week because of how bad the defense is. And he didn't play perfect last week. Yeah, he had the stats, 400 yards, but you know, Gib Gibbs wasn't able to help out in the running game because for whatever reason the Panthers were able FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: contain him. So it all relied on Goff. But you to have Gibbs too. But I think Goff is still the most important person. like, man, like I said, this game's a toss-up. I could see Arizona winning this game and like not be surprised, right? But I'm I'm I'm gonna say that the Lions will win this game and it's gonna be a golf and Gibbs led win this week for for you guys. All right, Flynn. Floor's yours, buddy. FlintTown: You guys ready for this pick? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: Huh? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah, we got we got Aaron: Tim for ready. DadBodSportsCards: some. FlintTown: I have Arizona cards. DadBodSportsCards: Holy shit. Aaron: Mm. DadBodSportsCards: Holy shit. Really? Arizona? Okay. FlintTown: I am not picking Detroit until they show me that they have certain things figured out. DadBodSportsCards: There you go. And what are those certain things? Yep. Yep. FlintTown: Defense for one. And Aaron: So you're not picking up for the rest the year. FlintTown: Brad Holmes. Brad Holmes. Get your head out of your DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: ass and trade for someone. Cause that's exactly what it is. Like Dan Campbell du Dan Campbell I believe in Dan Campbell. I think Dan Campbell is a great coach, a motivator, rah rah-rah, team guy, you know, team team first. And he will do anything to get his team win. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: But you have to have the pieces for that. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Kinda like what we talked about with the Chargers. Yeah. Yeah. FlintTown: And I mean, yeah, it's it's ridiculous. I'll DJ Reed, every time on a pass, all DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: you're seeing is the back of his jersey and he's three feet behind the player. Like that's all. What yeah, is it doesn't matter, exactly. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. It doesn't matter. It it it doesn't matter. Yeah. Aaron: Three feet or three yards. Now sorry. FlintTown: Rake, Rake Straw, like I know this is his really his first year because he was injured the last two, but he actually looked decent. And he only played like 14-15 snaps or something like that. Yes, they're easing them in. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Well they're they're they're they're getting back in game. Yeah, yeah. FlintTown: But I mean that McMillan catch on the sideline, right? Rake was right there. Like if it would have been a little bit, you know, more yeah, it was great play. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: It was a great play it was a great throw by Young. Yeah, Bryce Young. It was a great throw. Yeah. And a great catch. And a great catch 'cause he had to get his feet in. Yeah. Yeah. FlintTown: But I mean, let him let him out there. Let him be the first guy. Because he can keep up with these cornerbacks or these wide receivers. So I just I think DJ Reed is like a second or a third cornerback. He ain't a first. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. Man, you got me wanting to switch my pick, but I'm I'm not going to because Aaron: No. DadBodSportsCards: I for I forgot. I forgot about Trey about Trey McBride and how open your middle of your defense is. Trey McB Trey McBride might get twenty catches this week in that in that defense's like middle area from FlintTown: Dobbs might be Moses too. DadBodSportsCards: not not even Dobbs, Brissett, Jacoby Brissett. Yeah, yeah. he is a yeah. FlintTown: Or yeah, that's what I meant. Dobbs is on our team. Yeah. Brissett might be Moses too. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. All right. Flint's going. Yeah. You know, like if for anybody that didn't catch the live stream, it will be posted up. Like it's already under the live section of our of the youth of the YouTube page, but I'm gonna also turn it into an episode after I turn this one into an episode. But the reactions that you get from Flint, I mean, this is this I'm not surprised he's picking Arizona. I mean, it's a little surprising because this is a winnable game for Detroit, but he also felt that the Panthers was a winnable game too. And I think they just shattered his dreams with how Aaron: Ha ha DadBodSportsCards: bad that defense played. And like we talked about all night, that middle was wide open the whole night. Just just slants up the middle or post up the middle was wide open all night. And FlintTown: And to be honest, like I don't know if it's I don't know if it's like the defensive coordinator or we just don't have the players. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: Like if his like Dan Campbell said, Shep is a great coach. I love his like you know like where he's headed. But he like kind of like hinted like we don't have the players to run DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: that defense. Well, then we need to fix that. If we don't have them players, let's run a different defense to then be able to run it later on. DadBodSportsCards: Do you do you trade when your offensive pieces for something on defense? FlintTown: I'd trade Laporta. DadBodSportsCards: The Porta, yeah. Well since FlintTown: I would. DadBodSportsCards: th since since they cut off contract talks with them, yeah, maybe. Yeah. Yeah. What you got, Aaron? FlintTown: Yep. Yep. You can f Aaron: yeah. FlintTown: you can easily f find a tight end in the draft in the third round. I know it might not be Laporta, but DadBodSportsCards: Right. Not not name Sam Rouse. FlintTown: Yeah, not named Sam Raj. But I mean it's easier to find a Titan than a defensive player or a defensive DadBodSportsCards: yeah. FlintTown: back, you know. So go ahead, Ritter. Aaron: There was rumors that the Lions are looking to trade for Jalen Ramsey. FlintTown: I heard. I heard. What? Aaron: Which is interesting 'cause he has a broken wrist right now and he's playing through it. And he's also been playing for the Steelers, he hasn't been playing on the outside. He's been playing safety or like Nick. DadBodSportsCards: Play safety now, yeah. Aaron: Well this year he's playing in the nickel, yeah. But last year he was a safety. FlintTown: Well Brian Branch DadBodSportsCards: Okay. FlintTown: is back in practice. So it's gonna take a couple weeks. He ain't coming. I mean, we're five hundred. I'm DadBodSportsCards: Could be out of it in a couple of weeks. Yeah. I mean, well yeah, I know, but like but I mean the reason why I say you could be out of it is because Minnesota could be starting off five and if they win this week. You know, like five and and then the Bears if we win this week is could be four and one. And if you lose like the FlintTown: But it's a long season. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, it is. Aaron: It is. DadBodSportsCards: But if you lose like the next three games, like that's five losses. Unless unless something gets flipped on that defense. You know, in order for you guys to go on a a major winning streak, which could happen, 'cause you're right, it's long season. So FlintTown: Yeah. Huh. DadBodSportsCards: maybe maybe branch is the answer and then may make it a trade for some of these other guys that's available. And then they they got they have to. They have they have to. Yeah. FlintTown: They need to make trades. That it's simple. It's simple. We can't we can't win anything if we don't make a trade. DadBodSportsCards: Go go for Derwin James from the Chargers. Like that dude that dude's solid. Yeah. Aaron: Easily, yeah. FlintTown: I think it's I think it's his contract. DadBodSportsCards: W figure the money out. Figure it out. Wait. FlintTown: I know. I trust me, if all these other teams can do it, why can't we? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, exactly. Exactly. I figured out. Jalen Ramsey's a kinda that's kinda interesting. Like, why why do the Lions keep going to the Steelers? Like, is there something like that's going on behind like the scenes where the Steelers know that they have to sell this year? Like they're not confident. Aaron: I don't know what it is. I don't know what it is with Porter. Like I don't know why they sold on Porter. DadBodSportsCards: Well, I mean that could that could be maybe he doesn't get along with the front office. It could be a lot of Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: things. Maybe the coaching doesn't like him. Cause I mean, you got a new coach. Who's your defensive coordinator? Is it a new defense coordinate? Is Aaron: Yeah. Patrick Graham, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: it a new one? Yeah. So maybe it doesn't fit his system. So like, hey, let's move on for Porter. I wouldn't have done it because I don't think but then again, I don't know, because the Steelers, when they hire coaches, they're there for decades. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: So Mike McCarthy could be there for decades. And maybe if McCarthy doesn't you you look at you make that face. But they've only had like what four coaches? FlintTown: think he will though. Aaron: No, I'm not I'm saying that as I don't want that like that's that's a horrible thought. Yeah, that is how that is yeah, that is how we have. DadBodSportsCards: I know, but but that's how the but that's how the Steelers hire. That is how the Steelers hire. They hire coaches like this might be only like their fourth coach in franchise history, fourth or fifth. FlintTown: But I don't see Aaron: Since like nineteen sixty nine there's a fourth, yeah. FlintTown: I don't see McCarthy being there that long. Aaron: No I don't. DadBodSportsCards: He's FlintTown: I don't. DadBodSportsCards: he's a good coach. Like when the Bear FlintTown: He's a decent coach. DadBodSportsCards: he's a good coach. He's a Aaron: He's a good. DadBodSportsCards: Super Bowl winning coach. And you gotta think Aaron Rodgers' prime FlintTown: I get that. DadBodSportsCards: years are because of Mike McCarthy. FlintTown: But also Mike McCarthy Aaron: Dak Prescott was under McCarthy. FlintTown: exactly. I DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: think Aaron Rodgers won McCarthy the Super Bowl. Aaron: Say it any way you want, but like he had Aaron Rodgers as a four time MVP. He was the one that was there. Derek Prescott, their offense was amazing. He's an offensive head coach. The only times DadBodSportsCards: Dallas was good Dallas was good when he was their coach. Yeah. Yeah. Aaron: that the Packers and Cowboys have struggled under Mike McCarthy, I'm not gonna say the only times, but a lot of it's been because of the defense. So that and he's an offensive head coach. So obviously it's some of it to do with him, but DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: Yeah. Aaron: like he's a good offensive mind. DadBodSportsCards: So that this is this is why I will defend Mike McCarthy, even though he's a pack or former Packers coach, is because the Bears were thinking about hiring him. And I remember I wasn't excited about that. That's not like that's not a hiring where you're gonna get excited about. But he is but I had to come to terms with Mike, okay, if we did hire him, because one, he fits what George McCaskey likes as like a nice guy. Well, George McCaskey when his mom was alive. Like that's how the Bears' organization was. He was a nice guy. McCarthy fits the perfect mold of what the Bears want a head coach to be. But we got lucky that Ben Johnson wanted to come to us, and that's why he waited for another year and then he he came to us. Like that we were the team that Ben Johnson wanted to come to, and he was able to convince management. But we were close, but probably closer than a lot of people think on hiring Mike McCarthy. And I was coming to the realization like, okay, he could develop a quarterback, he'll be able to develop Caleb. And who knows, maybe he could turn Caleb into the next Aaron Rodgers or Dak Prescott. And I would be happy with either one of them because those are two great quarterbacks, right? so he's not, I wouldn't even put him as average, I'll put him as an above average coach. He just doesn't have a quarterback right now because Rodgers is 44 years old, 45 years FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: old. Who knows what he could do with Will Howard and Drew Aller? Like who who knows? We d you know the Steelers have to come to terms with eventually they're gonna have to revamp everything on that offense. And that's why I'm saying, like, McCarthy could be there for a decade or more because that's what the Steelers do. And then they'll give him a little bit of grace because they are going to revamp. DK is not good. That's a bad contract for them. But they can't, yeah, Aaron: It's a terrible contract. DadBodSportsCards: but they can't let him go now because of that contract. Michael Pittman sounds good on paper, but he's I mean, he's older. Yeah, he's that's not a FlintTown: That ain't a good contract. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I mean, that's not and that's another not a good contract, but it's also not another good. player and like but everything revolves like around the quarterback. You don't really have a running game. Aaron will defend Jalen Warren, but Jalen Warren is better as a number two than he is as a number one. And and I say that because you've never had a true number one in a long time, probably since Le'Veon Bell and FlintTown: Levian. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: and in that you gotta do it more than Aaron: James Carner that one year. But He DadBodSportsCards: one year. Aaron: Yeah, Jalen Warren is top five in yards per carry. He has I think he does have the touchdowns, but I was looking at earlier, he has sixty less yards than Jonathan Taylor. Now again, he doesn't have the touchdowns, but he's last two weeks when he's been the running back one, the consensus, you with Rico Dowdo being out, he's played really well. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, so yard yards per carry is I I don't like that stat because you can get 10 handoff, you can get 10 runs a game and get 50 yards and like, shit, that's five yards a carry. Like that sounds FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: great, but it but it's not because you're doing it in ten in ten carries. If you could do it, like to me a running back has to be twenty to twenty five touches, twenty to thirty touches, thirty touches if you throw in r receiving yards, right? Or receptions and everything. Now, Jalen Warren has the ability to do both, but don't try to s you can pull up whatever stats, because Aaron put on mute, because he's typing right now. You're never gonna convince me he's a top ten running back in this league. He's not a top ten running back. You can throw whatever stats, but what's the most career touchdowns he's had in a season? Less than ten, right? And please do not compare him to Jonathan Taylor. You you just did saying like he doesn't have the Aaron: said he has sixty less yards and you're talking about twenty t he's had twenty touches in the last two games. DadBodSportsCards: Yes. Aaron: Five seven and a half yards per carry against the Bengals, five and a half against seventeen DadBodSportsCards: How okay, so how many carries with Aaron: hundred twenty seven yards, seventeen ninety three yards against the Browns. DadBodSportsCards: How how long was his longest yar rush in that game? Thirty five. Okay. Right. Wasn't one right, right. Okay. Aaron: Thirty five. So it wasn't one run s skewing the whole thing. And then against the Browns it was twenty four. And then receiving three yards, thirty three catches. I mean sorry, DadBodSportsCards: Do you know what the Aaron: three catches, thirty three yards, three catches, forty nine yards. DadBodSportsCards: Well how many yards per carry against the Browns? Aaron: Five point five, five and a half. DadBodSportsCards: And how many carries that game? Twenty four? Seventeen. Aaron: Seventeen. T total touches, he's at twenty in both games. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Do you know what the NFL average is for yards per carry? Like off don't look it up. Off the top of your head, what do you think it is? FlintTown: Four, five. Aaron: It's like four and a half. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, it's high. So five point five is like, okay, cool. Like you're one yard ahead of like the NFL average, right? And FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I'm not saying that's bad, but you're never gonna convince me that Jalen Warren's a top ten running back. Because he's not I know, but he's he's not. But you can't Aaron: I didn't say he was top ten. She's not. DadBodSportsCards: but you're like he has sixty less yards than Jonathan Taylor. Like, do not even put those two in the same com like c sentence. Like you can't say Jalen Warren is, he's sixty yards less than Jonathan Taylor. How many touchdowns less does he have less than Jonathan? Aaron: Yeah. That's why I said that's DadBodSportsCards: Six touchdowns left. Yeah. Aaron: why I'm saying what I'm saying. I'm saying he's not I'm saying he is I'm I'm saying he is number one. Yes. DadBodSportsCards: He's not a number one. He's not a number one. You think he is a number one wide receiver or running back? Aaron: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: And that's why your team's not gonna make the playoffs without Tom. Aaron: Fine. I do think he's number one running back. You haven't given me an argument FlintTown: Tomlin's been a little mine credit. Aaron: as to why he's not. You said, he can't do it with twenty touches a game, and I'm telling you, he did do it with twenty touches a game. DadBodSportsCards: Okay, okay. For s I'm sorry, for season. Go go back to look up his stats from last year. What was his yards per carry last year? Aaron: Four and a half. DadBodSportsCards: Four and a half. Okay, what was it year the year before? Four point. Aaron: Four point three and then five point three and then four point nine. DadBodSportsCards: Okay, so he's about at the NFL average. And like Aaron: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: last year he didn't get as many carries as he is now. He's getting the carries now because Aaron: Last year was the most carries he's had because before he's been sheltered by Najee. They try to have Najee be the number one Najee had like three hundred carries a year. DadBodSportsCards: Well right yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And right now he's getting the carries 'cause you don't have a backup running back. Who's your backup running back now? Well, Aaron: Yeah. Dowl. And he's coming back this week, which DadBodSportsCards: I know, but Doddle's been out, so who's been the backup? Aaron: Eli Haydn or Lou Nichols. Lou Nichols. Travis Homer. DadBodSportsCards: Exactly. You don't even know. I I don't even know who that is. Well FlintTown: I don't even know who that is. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, Travis Homer's a special teams guy because he used to play for the Bears. He's a special teams Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: player. I don't know. You may think he's a number one running back. Good on you. I think that's more that's like me saying Kyle Manungai is a number one running back. Kyle Manungay is not a number one running back in this league. He may put up the numbers and Kyle Manungai might average seven to eight yards a carry, but I would never say Kyle Manungai is a number one running back in this N in the NFL. He's not. FlintTown: No, 'cause if he had to do it every day or every down, he's not gonna get DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. But but at the same time, I understand running backs aren't they're not running backs don't have to do that anymore. We don't have the Derrick Henries FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: anymore. We d I mean, occasionally a few teams have them. I I don't know. I don't think Jalen Warren you're not game you're not scheming a game plan on defense against Jalen Warren. Maybe for this Steelers offense because there's nobody else on offense. But you're but if you put him you put him on, I don't know, the Detroit Lions. Right? You're not scheming against Warren. Like you're not Aaron: No, 'cause they got Gibbs. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. If Gibbs wasn't there. Because you because you said Jalen Warren's a number one running back. So if he was with the Lions, there's no Gibbs because Jalen Warren is a number one running back. He's I don't know. I don't I don't I don't see it. What ranking wise, out of the top 32, what do you think Jalen Warren is? No, not not Aaron: Probably middle of the pack. DadBodSportsCards: not st statistically, like how you feel about him. Middle of the pack? Okay. And Aaron: Probably middle of the pack, yeah. I think r when I say running back one, I mean I think he's good enough to be a starter in the league. Which I think he DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: is. DadBodSportsCards: Well okay, okay. May maybe I should clarify. Because R B one I'm thinking top ten, like I'm Aaron: Okay. DadBodSportsCards: like R B one f well top twelve for fantasy for fantasy football. That's what I'm thinking. R R B one. R B one. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah, no he's not he's not there, no. Okay. Okay. Okay, no, he's not there. But like a like a starting running I think he can be a starting running back, which is was my DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. I mean it w I could probably name you're probably ro right about middle of the pack, about fifteen to twenty running backs that could be better than him. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: But I'm I'm thinking of fantasy terms. Fantasy terms, Aaron: Okay. DadBodSportsCards: he's definitely not RB one. He'll be an RB two because he will fall in that anything Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: at anything after twelve is an RB two. So one through twelve, one through Aaron: Okay. Yeah, okay. DadBodSportsCards: twelve is considered RB one. And but then you have different tiers in that 'cause like Gibbs, you're not gonna have Gibbs and the 11th best running back in the same tier. Even though they might be R B ones, but it's like a different tier system. Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: That's way too much time on Jalen Warren who's trash. But FlintTown: Shh shh. We got on to Pittsburgh and we're not even on Pittsburgh's trick. Yeah, that's DadBodSportsCards: Well, I yeah. It it's cause like I I mean, I get it, understand being a fan, like I do the fan thing too, but I'm also a realist. Like I will never say that Kyle Monungai is a number one. He's Kyle Manungai is gonna have to be someone that he's always splitting time with somebody. And that's how I Aaron: Yeah, it's DadBodSportsCards: that's how I feel about Jalen Warren. Like I think you can get the best out of Jalen Warren if you have another guy with him. Because he is fast, he is elusive, and then he'll have more like Like you don't want him to get tired, right? Cause Aaron: Yeah, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: one of the best things about him, and like it now, he's shown that he can he can run between the tackles, but one of the best things about Jalen Warren is he's he's a shifty, fast running back. So when you have those kind of running backs, unless you're like built like Jameer Gibbs you know, then you'll get the rock and then you won't you won't lose speed, right? You know, in the fourth quarter. FlintTown: To be honest though, like I think it's ultimately best to have two running backs, even if you're Jameer Aaron: No, yeah, obviously, yeah. FlintTown: Gibbs or Bijan, because you're getting you're giving them the less reps so they can go further on in the season. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I don't know, man. Like after watching Bijan on Monday night, like I would love to have him run every single ball. And in in this in this FlintTown: I know Bijan was crazy. Aaron: Yeah, that dude is amazing. DadBodSportsCards: bear in this Bears offense, I would love to see Bijan in this Bears offense because he would rush for two hundred, three hundred yards a game. Right. Like we wouldn't even need I mean, Aaron: You all score seventy again. DadBodSportsCards: as much as I hate to say it, we wouldn't even need Caleb. Bijan in this in the with this running scheme. Because I mean Gibbs was in this running scheme in in Detroit and like Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I mean he's Gibbs is awesome. You know, like if see Gib Aaron: We got three good games coming up, woof. On on yeah, on the pigs. Yeah. Let's get DadBodSportsCards: Who? the the the remaining three? Okay. Let yeah, all right. Let let's let let's let's let's move on. All right. So the next game this next game is tough was tough for me. San Francisco forty niners at Seattle Seahawks. Who you got, Aaron? Aaron: I'm gonna change my pick. I'm gonna go with Seattle. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Aaron: It just clicked because in my head, I mean, on my computer, I don't write down I write down verses, so I don't take home factor into an effect. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: I'm gonna take Seattle because they're in Seattle. They blew him out last year in the playoffs. No, Niners were hurt, but they still blew him out. And Seattle, they got Darnold back. They're just like I'm not gonna say they're an a much better team 'cause San Francisco's four no and San Francisco's playing really good right now. But because it's in Seattle, I'm gonna take them. But it's gonna be it's gonna be a great game. yes. DadBodSportsCards: Divisional game, yeah. Aaron: My player to watch is gonna be JSN. He is elite. He was elite last year, he is doing really, really good this year. So he's probably gonna keep it up against San Francisco. 'Cause I don't I don't know what D B San Francisco has. I think they like Bernardo Green. I think that's one of their corners' names. Other DadBodSportsCards: Right. Aaron: than that, I don't know. DadBodSportsCards: Right, who you Flint? FlintTown: I got Seattle too. They're at home. The twelfth man. forty niners are good. This is gonna be a good game. I feel it's gonna be back and forth. I think I think it's gonna be closer than a blowout, you know what I mean? But I gotta go with the home one on this Seattle and JSN. JSN's a monster. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. So I'm I'm right there with you guys. I'm surprised we didn't s like stray away from our picks. I'm going Seattle as well. Maybe it's the home field factor I think that's in all of our minds on what FlintTown: Yep. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: what what what we think. but I I've been on the record, I don't think San Francisco's this good. Like they're four and But I just pulled FlintTown: I yeah. DadBodSportsCards: up their schedule. They played the Rams Aaron: Yeah, their schedule's not good. DadBodSportsCards: they played the Rams, but it was in Australia and the Rams they said that they fucked up by flying like two days before the game. And that FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: fucked them up. Then they played Miami. Anybody's beaten Miami. Even Aaron: And play the carnals. DadBodSportsCards: even Miami's second string team could probably beat their first string team. All right. That's how bad they are. FlintTown: You're probably right. You're probably right. Aaron: Ha ha ha. DadBodSportsCards: then they then they had a shootout against the Cardinals. Now, I don't I like I I think they were ahead in that game and Cardinals came back. Yeah, and then the Cardinals Aaron: They were headed by a lot and then Cardinals yeah. DadBodSportsCards: came back. So I will give the credit to them. And they did beat they did beat a good defense in Denver. But I don't trust like I I don't know. I I think my player to watch is gonna be Sam Darnold. Like he has to he has to play really well because they don't have a running back right now. they have a former Green Bay Packer, Emmanu Aaron: Manual Wilson. DadBodSportsCards: Emmanuel Wilson, who played pretty well last week and you get him the ball. And I remember when he played as a Packer, that guy's pretty shifty, right? He he's he's got speed, he can run up the like he I mean, the touchdown they scored last week, like it was like in two point two seconds is like how fast he got to the end zone, like from twenty five yards out. Like the dude Is fast as hell. but but yeah, but he's got JSN. Sam Darnold's got JSN. Sam Darnold, I think, is is gonna be my player to watch because he has to win this game for them. He's gonna have to keep up with the 49ers offense. 49ers defense is better because some of their players are like the players that have been hurt in the past are healthy. But give like divisional game, the 12th man, Seattle, Sam Darnold, and I think San Francisco is a little bit overrated. Give me Seattle. All right, ne you got something? Yep. Aaron: You know who is also on the running back roster for the Seahaw Seahawks? Vaylus Jones Jr. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, fuck that guy. Fuck that guy. Aaron: I I saw I saw the I realized wait they don't have a running back and I was like ooh DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, let's move on because I don't want to go on a rant, a 30 minute rant about Velas Jones, because fuck that guy. Well, you did. You did, you brought his fucking name. Aaron: Okay. I wasn't gonna talk about I was just gonna okay. I didn't. DadBodSportsCards: I hate that guy. As Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: much as I hate Sam Roush, I also hate Vailas Jones. All right. Well, let's fucking move on before I go on a thirty minute rant about that fucking sorry ass football player. All right. Baltimore Ravens at Atlanta Falcons. Next, who you got, Aaron? It's Sunday night football game in Aaron: It is DadBodSportsCards: Atlanta. So who you got, Aaron? Aaron: Maybe surprising pick, but Lamar is not looking like he's gonna play. I think they got Tyler Huntley. Atlanta's their offense has looked amazing. They scored forty five and the week before they scored thirty five or thirty eight. DadBodSportsCards: Against two shitty defenses, by the way. Aaron: Yes. But Baltimore's defense isn't the greatest either. So with that being said, I'm gonna pick Atlanta. Their defense is playing better now that they have an offense. And Baltimore's gonna be without the quarterback. So they're are gonna heavily rely on Derrick Henry. And they could pro Derrick Henry could probably have a great game. But I don't I just think Atlanta they're hot right now. Baltimore they're down their quarterback. So I'm gonna pick Atlanta. My player to watch is gonna be Michael Penix. He has played very well these last two games. Only two games he's played of the season. And if he can keep it up, I mean this division's up for grabs. Atlanta could be the team that wins the division. DadBodSportsCards: Who you fun? FlintTown: Gimme Atlanta. DadBodSportsCards: Later. FlintTown: Gimme Alana and Penix to the moon. Let's give DadBodSportsCards: Ha ha FlintTown: a Penix! DadBodSportsCards: That's it. That's all you got. FlintTown: That's it. DadBodSportsCards: All right. So I'm picking Atlanta as well, but not for the same reasons that you both are. the only reason why I'm picking Atlanta is because Lamar Jackson's not playing. I think Baltimore is gonna be very run heavy with Derrick Henry this game, and they're gonna try to control the game to keep the Atlanta offense off the field. if Derrick Henry can get two hundred and thirty yards rushing and four touchdowns, then yes, Baltimore will win. I don't see that happening. But you never FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: know. The last year when the Bears played the Ravens without Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley beat us. So he's been around the league for a while. He's been a professional. He knows how to be a backup. He can come in and do his job. He's done it in the past. So if Baltimore wins this game, it's not really going surprise me. I am not on the Penix train. Pennox has played o FlintTown: Shouldn't be DadBodSportsCards: Penix has played okay. Like, if you wa if FlintTown: You don't wanna be on the panic strain? DadBodSportsCards: No, no. Definitely don't want to be on the penis train. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: But FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: but what I'm saying is he's not that good. Like the reason why Atlanta is winning FlintTown: What? DadBodSportsCards: is because of Bijan. Did you have you not have you not seen the past two games that Bijan has played? Yes. Aaron: yeah, yeah. Yeah. Bajan's a but yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Or Bajan. Sorry. Hit the last two and don't say it's because of Penix. Aaron: don't FlintTown: But it ha di how did they look? How did they look? Aaron: it helps? Yeah it does help it it does help FlintTown: It does. DadBodSportsCards: But also the but also the teams that you're playing against helps. Like he played aga he played against FlintTown: It does, but it helps with a dual DadBodSportsCards: Green Bay. Like, okay, he got like 194 yards rushing against Green Bay. Cool. We all know Green Bay's defense fucking sucks. And then he played the the Saints, which they had plenty of they scored four rushing touchdowns. The other B. Robinson scored. They got five. Did he get three? B. Robinson? Brian Robinson, Aaron: Brian, Brian Robinson. DadBodSportsCards: yeah. So the other B. Robinson. had three touchdown rushing touchdowns and then Bajan had two. It's not Penix. It's because of the rushing game. FlintTown: It is panic Panic's to the moon. Aaron: He he's what I think it is, he's a difference maker in the offense, as in DadBodSportsCards: He's not a difference maker. FlintTown: Yes. Aaron: As in it from a difference from Cooper Rush. That offense is clicking better now they don't have Cooper Rush in. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. So I I don't call I call a difference maker someone that you could put no matter what team and they'll make a difference for that team. Penix is not that. He's he's Aaron: Okay. What I meant what I meant by that DadBodSportsCards: better than Rush. He's better than Cooper Rush, yes. Aaron: What I meant by that was you can see the difference this year. I'm not saying Penix is his elite quarterback. I'm not saying he's one of those guys at quarterback. I'm saying you can see it this year, their offense with Penix and their offense without Penix. I get it's also because the team has FlintTown: Yep. Yep. It clicked a lot better. Aaron: played, but their offense has stepped it up. So FlintTown: Mm-hmm. Aaron: this year, Penix is one of the difference makers on why this offense is playing better. I get it. Bajan's the best running back in the league. Drake London's one of the best running. I it's not running back. one of the best wide receivers in the league. But they weren't clicking until Panics came in. DadBodSportsCards: D I mean, do you think that's because of Penix or do you think it's coincidence? See, I think it's coincidence. I Aaron: I don't think it's coincidence. I think and FlintTown: No. It's 'cause of panics. Aaron: I think a bunch of other quarterbacks can do it, but I was DadBodSportsCards: Well the reason the reason why I say is because of coincidence is because of the opponents that they had. Like the the de the defenses aren't good at in New Orleans and FlintTown: So it's only who you play, week by week. DadBodSportsCards: No, I I I understand that, but like when I evaluate it, when I watch every snap from Pen Penix in that Monday night football game, I didn't say, shit, the reason why Atlanta won is because of Penix. Or it's because Penix is playing FlintTown: Well, I mean DadBodSportsCards: the I didn't see that at all in last week or the week before when they won against against Green Bay. Does he have does he is it better quarterback play? Yes. Is but Bichon is playing out of his fucking mind. Aaron: He is. Yeah. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: So like he's like we could say Penix is playing what you two think this well because Bichon's making it easier for him, right? Aaron: Yeah, sure. DadBodSportsCards: But slow down Bijan a little bit, get him off this because right like that Green Bay game, he had 194 yards rushing, and this past game, they had five rushing touchdowns. They they got a great rushing system right now. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: But you clog that run game up, Penix is gonna go back. To be slightly better than Cooper Rush. Slightly. He he doesn't have touch on his ball. When you watch him throw, not not FlintTown: I don't think so. Not yet. He throws missiles. DadBodSportsCards: not yet. He's this is his third year in the league. He never had touch even in college. He didn't have touch. So he's as yes, he throws piss missiles. Yes, correct. And that's FlintTown: I know. He threw missiles. He does. DadBodSportsCards: gonna that's gonna hurt him. That's why I don't think he's a difference maker, what you said. This run game has to stay like this in order for this team to be successful. If this run game, you stop this run game and you have this game down to to Penix, that pissed missile is getting it's it's faltering. Cause FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: they don't they don't have they only have one wide receiver. They have they have Drake London. FlintTown: London. DadBodSportsCards: And he's not and I don't think he's I don't even think Drake London is a top ten wide receiver in the NFL. I think he he's okay. He's could be borderline top ten, you know, but FlintTown: It's hard. Yeah. It's hard. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I don't I don't know. I I'm not a fan because I know at some point because they're GM. And their assistant GM, the assistant GM is Ian Cunningham, the Bears' former assistant GM. And I guess he's technically, I think, their GM now, but we didn't get our compensation picks. You fucking Matt Ryan asshole. So because how they worded that that's that hiring, so we didn't get our compensation picks for it. But I don't know. I which I mean I already sold my Pen X auto. I got 150 for it. The card's only worth 80. And somebody jumped on that in my store because after his performance, I'm happy for that. But at the same time, like what I'm seeing, I'm like, that dude, he's not it. He's not it. FlintTown: I think he is. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Well, you also think Cam Ward's it. Aaron: Buffalo FlintTown: Buffalo in LA. DadBodSportsCards: All right, last game Aaron: For the time. DadBodSportsCards: is the Monday night football game. We got the Buffalo Bills at LA Rams. Aaron: Pains me to say this. I got Buffalo. Rams do not look good. They got the comeback win, but they've been shaky all year. Buffalo, Josh Downs not played good the last two weeks. Three turnovers against the Chargers. I know he had one he had that horrible interception at the end the game against the Patriots. But I have more faith in Buffalo. I don't know why. But I'm just so shaky on the Rams. So I'm going to pick Buffalo and Josh Allen, he's going to have to step it up. First two weeks, nine touchdowns, no turnovers. Last two weeks, it's not the same story. So if Josh Allen can play at that week one, week two elite level, they're going to win the game. But if he puts up a stinker and he has those game-losing interceptions, the Rams are gonna they're gonna take advantage of it. DadBodSportsCards: Yep, Flint, who you FlintTown: also have Buffalo and this is a hard one because I was like in between Buffalo LA Buffalo LA because they're both like decently good teams. I think Buffalo's better team but who really knows? I guess we'll find out t this weekend. But I'll take Buffalo. Josh Allen has to be the difference maker to make this game go for Buffalo. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. So I this game, my pick is I only have two percent confidence. 'Cause this this g this is a tough game. FlintTown: yeah, exactly. It's a hard one. DadBodSportsCards: And I and I'm right there with you with Buffalo because I think in all our minds, as not Aaron last year, but Aaron this year. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I think in all our minds, Josh Allen can win you a game. If FlintTown: yeah. DadBodSportsCards: we if we get Josh Allen rushing for two and throwing for three, we're like He took over the game, Buffalo wins. But then he does have those stinkers. And the reason why he has those stinkers is because they have the same problem as last year. They don't have any wide receivers. Yeah, they got DJ Moore, but DJ Moore's been hurt. And DJ Moore, like we had him on the Bears. He's never a hundred percent. Like never, not even the first game of the season, he's never a hundred percent. There's always something going on with him, and you need him to be a true number one wide receiver, and he's just not that anymore in his career. even when he was with the Bears, I don't I'm I think the only time he was a true number one was when he had Justin Fields. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: but definitely not with Caleb. so I think that's what's going on with Buffalo and their offense is they're they're focusing on Josh Allen and James Cook and like, hey, beat us with Shak Shakir, beat us with Keon Coleman, beat us with the hurt DJ Moore, and then Dalton Kincaid. And then, you know, some games. Josh Allen can rise above and eliminate all those flaws with that offense and everything. Everything about this pick, I should be picking the Rams. Because you got Puka, you got Puka back, you got Devontae Adams, you got Matt Stafford, you got Kyron Williams. Occasionally you'll get Blake Corham in there. Their defense is pretty good. It's not great, but they're pretty good for where they need to be. and it's a home game and it's Monday night football. I I went as far as my research and looking up Monday night football records. Stafford is seven and eleven, and I think Josh Allen is five and six. So that didn't help me either. So Yeah, yeah, Aaron: It's not like the Browns of Steelers, like records, yeah. FlintTown: Yeah, I know something, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: yeah. So FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: that didn't help me at all, like how what I was hoping. And I think I'm the same mindset that you two have is like Josh Allen can win this game. And even though everything tells me I should pick the Rams because they have better playmakers and everything, but I'm gonna FlintTown: I know. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: go with the Buffalo Bills because I can't see them losing two in a row. I I can't see Josh FlintTown: Exactly. DadBodSportsCards: Allen losing two in a row. He's already had two straight bad games, and I don't think he'll have like a third straight bad game. I think Joe Brady will get him out of it. All right. So we did have a long discussion about Jalen Warren this week, and I'm always picking on your guys' teams. And Aaron gets frustrated with me. What are you looking up, Aaron? Aaron: I thought it was something with the bills and with a streak of like not losing two in a row, but it's not. DadBodSportsCards: No, okay. I mean they they probably have lost two in a row, like Aaron: They d they did last year. I thought it was something with them having a streak of DadBodSportsCards: I think they did I think they did before when they lost the second in row last year. I think they d I think you're right. I do remember something like for like a like a a period a period Aaron: Well I I'm okay. I looked it up, that's why. DadBodSportsCards: of okay, a period of games where they didn't lose two in a row. I don't know. I think it's it's a televised game. It's in LA. Like I Aaron: Okay. DadBodSportsCards: I just think Josh Allen can rise up. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: but you know, Matt Stafford has that too. Like the we talked about the it thing FlintTown: It does DadBodSportsCards: last week. Matt Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: Stafford has it and so does Josh Allen. It's gonna be a great fucking game. Aaron: There it is. DadBodSportsCards: It FlintTown: It is. DadBodSportsCards: And you know, the Rams have more firepower, but I mean they they barely beat Aaron: The Eagles. DadBodSportsCards: the Eagles and the Eagles are bad. So I don't know. I don't know. But that okay, that's we that's week two. We're right about at two hours right now. So eventually we'll get this down to an hour and a half. may may maybe we never will, but no one's complaining because no one's listening anyways. But all right, you guys got anything else for for for week five or anything? Aaron: Go Jalen Warren. DadBodSportsCards: There you go. Jay watch Jalen Warren have the watch him out duel Jonathan Taylor this weekend. Aaron: That's that's my prediction of the week. He's gonna outdo Jonathan Taylor. DadBodSportsCards: There you go. All right. So we'll we'll get we'll get Jalen Warren with a hundred and twenty yards rushing and three touchdowns, three total touchdowns, and Jonathan Taylor will probably have like eighty yards rushing and one touchdown, and then Aaron will win this debate this week. I got I got the debate last week against Flint with the whole Carolina and Lions thing. I got that debate. So we'll we'll we'll see. You know, may maybe maybe the teacher will get beaten by the student, which is Aaron, this week. So Aaron: It's not gonna 'cause Rico's doubt will coming back. They're saying he's gonna be in the mix heavy, so it's not DadBodSportsCards: I mean you never know. But maybe Aaron: You never know. DadBodSportsCards: that maybe maybe that means 'cause I did see Jalen Warren FlintTown: Hot hands. DadBodSportsCards: get run that yard that ball ninety eight yards that one time and they had to call call it back. Maybe because he has seventeen carries, but Aaron: Shiko. DadBodSportsCards: he'll be yeah, it was a bullshit call. Maybe he'll get seventeen carries, but he's able to get like a couple fifty yard runs because Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: you know, the the less care carries and keep his average up. All right. I don't have anything else. Thank you everybody for listening. the only other thing is fuck Green Bay this week.
