- 0:20SPEAKER_00: If there was ever a time in your fantasy career to lock in, it would be right here, right now.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: And let me tell you, after all the fantasy reels that I've seen on Instagram or any type of social media platform, I just gotta give Parker Washington a shout out.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: He is he is the definition of Captain Sava Ho.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: And he's what that's what he's doing to all our fantasy teams, to whoever listened to us and picked him in the sixth to seventh, six seventh, or maybe even the eighth on the it's over.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: But you know, as you get older, it like travels up to us.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: And now that we're in the boomer category, now it's funny.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: But of course, I am Natter alongside Nico, and this is the Fantasy Football Space Podcast.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Nico, how are you doing over there?
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: I'm good, man.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: Uh, just uh crazy that we're already in week eight of the fantasy football season.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's pretty much halfway, so um, really at this point, we got to identify second half breakouts, uh, people that you know buy low, sell high.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: Uh, but we're here to help answer your questions today.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: Starts and sits, and we got some fun segments for you.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: Uh, so excited to be on the show today.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: And uh, by the way, uh, Tip will not be joining us this week.
- 1:33SPEAKER_02: He is celebrating um his anniversary uh with his better half.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: So um he's got plans and we are going to move on without him.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Uh, next man up mentality, just like uh Bill Belichick always said.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, next man up, or in this case, next uh doo doo raider fan up, just because I mean, hey, look what happened to the raid.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: He was so high and mighty when they were three and oh, he was feeling himself on here.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: You you saw this Mac talk that he gave us.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: I mean, the Raiders were playing pretty good football for the most part.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: I mean, and and by pretty good for them, mediocracy, and you know, coming from someone who had Kirk Cousins as his quarterback in Minnesota for however many years it was seven or eight.
- 2:17SPEAKER_02: Um, Kirk Cousins, as we know, is the definition of mediocracy.
- 2:21SPEAKER_02: It was always him leading that team to essentially being a 500 uh football team, but you know, their wins did come against Miami Chargers and the Saints, so they've yet to beat anybody truly, you know, worth noting, if you will.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, we when we think about it, right?
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: We were going into the you mean first they beat the the Chargers.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: We're like, man, that's pretty good.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: Well, remember the Cardinals beat the Chargers too.
- 2:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there was also that.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: At one point we thought the Chargers would be a tough team to beat.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Now we're thinking, okay, never mind, they're they're just an easy double on the schedule.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: So, of course, I mean there's a lot of trade news going on that we're definitely going to be discussing, some potential trade news that will be we anticipate happening.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: And of course, in this episode, we're gonna be talking about the sit a stud, start a dud segment.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: That one's gonna be an interesting one.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: And of course, we always got the news and notes, we always got the starts and sits of the week, and of course, we also have the crusty picks of the week logging in.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: So, hey Nico, you ready to hop into it?
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Let's do it, bro.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: Start a dud.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: I I I left an Easter egg in that video.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: I don't know if anybody noticed that one.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: And uh that let me tell you, when you when we did came up with the segment topic on that one, it was a tough one.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: I had to really dig into the bag to find a clip or something like that where I could work with it.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Nico, how'd you think?
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: You know, I I said this on our show last week.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: I was like, I really like when Natter um drops his uh segment intros.
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: It's kind of one of my favorite things.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: I'm a I'm a big audio podcast kind of guy, so I think those go a long way.
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: And you know, I liked it.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: I was vibing to it.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: You know, you were you were questioning whether or not you could actually do it.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: Um, you thought it was gonna be a little bit long, but uh you came through for the squad uh like you always do.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: I appreciate it.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: I appreciate it.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: But of course, in this segment, we're gonna be talking about a player, of course, in this specific part, a stud.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: That's probably top 15, top 20, I would say in the rankings, depending on their position.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: If it's a tight end, I'd probably say in the top, you know, seven.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: If it's a QB, same thing.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Wide receiver, I'd probably go top 15 to 20.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: RB about top 10.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Where you know what, you're looking at him in the rankings and thinking, you know what?
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: I should probably sit him this week.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: I don't think he's gonna have a good enough of a week to join my starting lineup.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: And then after that, we're gonna be talking about a dud that's gonna be bottom tier on the rankings that you should be inserting into your starting lineup.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: So a fun little game right there.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Shout out to Tip because he played this every week in the starts and sits when he said uh sit Jonathan Taylor.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: We're not gonna discuss that at this at this moment in time.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: I think he said he would be listening, so I wanted to consistently uh dog on him throughout the episode.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: But Nico, give us your sit.
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: Man, he's just catching strays and he's not even here.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: We're gonna have to take that offline, but um, no, so the stud, if you will, that I'm gonna be sitting this week is currently the tight end five on the season, and that's Sam Laporta.
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: Um, this week uh he has the Minnesota Vikings, and Laporta has been super solid.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: Um, he's got 334 yards and three TDs through six games.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: And after his comment last week about breaking his effing back for the team and not getting a contract extension and having some internal beef, if you will, um, he ended up getting two targets last week in a matchup that was projected to be an absolute shootout between the Lions and the Packers.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: So not only do I think there's some tension in the room there uh for Detroit and Laporta and the coaching staff for that comment, but more importantly, like I said, he goes up against my Minnesota Viking defense, which is absolutely stout against the position.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: They've allowed uh the fewest fantasy points per game, 5.4 and a half PPR, and the third fewest yards and zero TDs.
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: I don't have any Laporta shares personally in any of my fantasy football leagues, but if I did, I would be looking to have him take a seat this week.
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: Like I said, he's the tight end five.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: I don't see him being in the top 12 at the position at aka a tight end one this week against the Vikings.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, you're never gonna hear me complain and say, hey, you should always start a tight end.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: In my opinion, they shouldn't even be in fantasy football.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: But of course, uh, I agree.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: When you when you have a difficult matchup and you're going with low volume, it it's really weird that a high powered offense that averages like 30 points a game, somehow the tight end can't get a structured, consistent fantasy going.
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, it's crazy.
- 7:18SPEAKER_02: Um, OG fantasy football, we are never start sitting Amon Ra St.
- 7:23SPEAKER_02: Brown.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, he says sit amon raw.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, nah, never if you've got the cojones for it, go for it.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: I don't, I don't, I don't.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: So you know what?
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: I can I can't recommend that one.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Me on the other hand.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: Wait, well, hold on.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: Before we move forward, remember when Tip uh said that uh Laporta was gonna be the tight end 24 this year?
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: I do think he had him as a 24th ranked tight end on the season.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: I think he was 26th if we want to be specific, but close enough.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: All I gotta say to that is yikes.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: Yikes.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: He's what you said.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: He was tight end five.
- 7:56SPEAKER_02: Well, he's tight end five on the season.
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: Um so yes, I'm projecting him to not finish as a tight end one this week uh against Minnesota.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, and you you could probably imagine he could probably not play a game the rest of the year, and he will still finish above tight end 26 at this point.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: Tip cuts and strays.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: He's that's the third one of actually.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: There was a fourth one if you caught the Easter egg during the transitional drop.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: There was a hidden one there.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: You have to you have to really pay attention on that one.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Maybe I should have called it out beforehand, but it is a okay.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: So my guy, I don't even know how he's number 16 right now in the rankings.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Uh for this week specifically, DJ Moore.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: He's ranked 16 for the week.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Right now, of course, you know, I'm not gonna oust that uh ranking duo website and all that good stuff, but right now they got him at 16.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: And let me tell you, that makes no sense going against Baltimore, even if he plays, there's just no way he finishes tight end 16 against Baltimore unless he gets one of those fluke plays for a huge gain and a touchdown, he's just not doing it this year.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: And you know, he was a guy that I wasn't high on going into the season, and unfortunately, injury concerns have hampered his season.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: But when you're looking at consistent value at the wide receiver position, when you're looking at the quarterback that likes to spread the ball around and kind of has his favorites when it comes to wide receivers, considering Keon Coleman is starting to emerge, Khalil Shakir, he's always going to be there battling targets.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: The running game looks like it's solid and picking up speed.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: And you're telling me that a wide receiver that can't run routes is supposed to produce fantasy value.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: I don't see that happening.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: I think you should be sitting him and uh keeping him out of your starting lineup.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: What do you think?
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: Well, I DJ Moore was a huge fade for me uh coming into the season based on ADP.
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: You know, I think the biggest issue with DJ Moore has has just been obviously health, but like he just hasn't been getting the volume when it comes to routes per game, targets per game.
- 9:56SPEAKER_02: Like he's not even in the top half um amongst qualified wide receivers.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: But when he has been on the field and on a per route basis, he's been extremely efficient.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Uh, he's in the 92nd percentile in yards per route run, um, 92nd percentile and targets per route run.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: So, DJ Moore, as long as he's suiting up this week, which he was limited in practice today, against the Ravens, who let's see, they're fifth.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: Um they've allowed the fifth most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, and what I would project to be a shootout.
- 10:31SPEAKER_02: Uh, the line right now is 53 and a half points for that game.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: I'd feel pretty confident in starting him, but clearly you don't.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: So I guess we'll see where it goes.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, I try to go with the we I mean, okay, let me backtrack a second.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: So there's always gonna be potential when you're a wide receiver in uh right now, which will I can't even remember his name, Josh Allen's offense, right?
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: But when have you seen him support more than one pass catcher on that team on a consistent basis compared to what we always thought he would, right?
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: There was always uh Stephon Diggs, and then you know we always thought Gabriel Davis was gonna take that step up, he never did, and then it was their tight end.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Uh, now I can't remember his name as well.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: Kincaid?
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Kincaid.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: Dalton Kincaid.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: We now we assumed him to step up.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: He's actually doing all right this year, but not that consistent threat that we'd hoped that he would emerge and become.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: There's still now Eyon Coleman starting to become that little bit of a fiery wide receiver.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: One, he's kind of elevating himself, in my personal opinion.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Now, Khalil Shakir is always gonna be a target hog.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: He gets his PPR points, and that makes it so there's only so much of the ball to go around in a consistent basis that gets you those fantasy points that you would want on your fantasy lineup.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: And he's not a touchdown threat, he's not a red zone threat.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: So, like, where is he gonna get his fantasy points if it's not a big play potential?
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: I mean, you have to think week one, right?
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: When he had his 60-yard touchdown, it should have been an incomplete cast pass that the defender batted down, but he just missed timed the ball and then of course went right over him, picked, caught it, and then took it to the end zone.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: You take that batted pass away, he has a gut uh for a fantasy game.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, you kind of have to, I mean, it's hard to say, oh, if you take that away, then it doesn't happen, it could bet it happen, but like be realistic, can't it happen again?
- 12:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and we've learned through seven weeks of the NFL season.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: I mean, the Houston defense is not as elite as everybody thought uh coming into the year, and specifically how well they were playing last year.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, I mean, a lot of what you shared is the biggest reason why I was fading him at ADP when we were going into drafts.
- 12:41SPEAKER_02: Um, but you heard it here first.
- 12:43SPEAKER_02: Uh, the stud that I will be sitting this week is gonna be Sam Laporta, who's currently the tight end five, and the stud that Natter is gonna sit this week, uh, who's currently ranked as the wide receiver 16 this week, um, is DJ Moore.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: So let's go on over to start a dud.
- 13:03SPEAKER_02: So, same concept here.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: Uh, we're gonna be picking a player, either a running back andor wide receiver who currently rank outside of the top 24, or a tight end or quarterback outside of the top 12 that we feel is going to finish and those uh top 12 or top 24.
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: And my dud that I'm gonna be starting is Jeremiah Love.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: Now, Jeremiah Love, first and foremost, he practiced on Wednesday.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: So, assuming he plays and he qualifies for this segment, uh, he is the RB33 on the season.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: And should love play, he gets an absolute dream matchup uh against the Cowboys.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: The Cowboys have allowed the seventh most fantasy points to the running back position, eighth highest in yards per carry, fifth most rushing TDs to the position.
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: And I totally expect this game to be an absolute shootout.
- 13:53SPEAKER_02: Uh, sportsbooks have this line at 52 and a half right now.
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: And I know love hasn't paid off for fantasy managers, but this should be a breakout game for him.
- 14:02SPEAKER_02: We saw his snap share increase week over week when he was healthy, spent out the last couple weeks with that injury.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: And since he's been out, Tyler Algier has been awful, dude.
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: I mean, he's averaging 2.24 yard per carry.
- 14:17SPEAKER_02: And yes, Kelly's guy, Bam Knight, she loves Bam Knight, uh, has been involved, and you know, he looks efficient.
- 14:24SPEAKER_02: But at some point, the Cardinals have to turn a new leaf here and get this guy going.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: I mean, they drafted him as a top five pick, and of course, that depends on whether or not he plays this week.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: But given his participation in practice on Wednesday, if I had Jeremiah Love, I'd fire him up with confidence this week.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: I think he's gonna finish as a top 24 running back, and he's currently the RB33 on the season.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, during our Sarsen sits on X, that we asked the whole community if they had any questions.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Finally reminder to everybody that we are live on YouTube, X, Instagram, and any type of streaming platform on Wednesday, 9 p.m.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: Eastern Standard Time, 6 p.m.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: Pacific, you could join us live on the show in the comments, always asking questions, have starts or sits, trades, or any type of fantasy questions.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Or if you don't agree with our takes and you want to debate it, feel free, baby.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: I'm over here ready to argue with you guys.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: So, of course, if you want to make sure to join in, tap in down below.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: So, of course, you know what?
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Right now, uh, you know what, before I go into mine right now, uh, hey Woods, shout out to you.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: He asks, Hey, the Bills should get a wide receiver.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Do you think like there's any wide receiver that they can potentially target?
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: Well, there's a lot of rumors right now about Josh Downs.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: So the colt we'll go at we'll get into it a little bit in the news and notes, but the Colts appear to be in full like fire sale mode.
- 15:49SPEAKER_02: Uh, they already traded Quentin Nelson to uh the Seahawks.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: Um they also traded uh DeForest Buckner um to the 49ers.
- 15:59SPEAKER_02: Um, so I mean they're gonna be in full uh fire sale mode.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: JT might even be next.
- 16:04SPEAKER_02: And today Josh Downs demanded a trade.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: So we'll see what his landing spot is.
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: You know, I personally have been a Josh Downs guy, um, you know, so far this season, and it's been one of my few uh misses.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: Obviously, not a crazy high risk.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: I mean, he wasn't like a crazy high draft pick or anything like that.
- 16:23SPEAKER_02: Um, but Josh Downs is one guy.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: Uh obviously Brian Thomas Jr., we already saw uh mini mini Van Marve uh get traded to Houston.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: So um those are kind of the top names I think that come to mind without uh thinking about it too much.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: Uh as far as how they would fit in the bills, I I think it I think them just getting DJ Moore healthy and back will be sufficient.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: Like they don't need another, you know, short intermediate guy.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: Like they already kind of have that with Shakir, and that's what Josh Downs is.
- 16:55SPEAKER_02: Brian Thomas Jr.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: more of a field stretcher, but that's also what they brought DJ Moore in to do.
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: So I just think you know, them getting DJ Moore healthy is really their way of making a trade and improving that wide receiver room, and they're coming off their bye week.
- 17:09SPEAKER_02: So and DJ Moore sat out week five and six, so he should be you know back to full health, if not close to it.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, if you really look at it from like an NFL standpoint, the Bills right now in the 26th season, they're averaging 32 points a game.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Like it's not the offense that's the issue.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, 32 points, like like really, like so.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: I mean, we we you know, we talk about for a fantasy standpoint, you know, we like it when teams have that bona fide wide receiver one, but realistically, from an NFL standpoint, they they don't necessarily need one when it comes to it.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Now, of course, I'm delaying my pick right now for the start of dud, but right now we got two.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: Hold on, hold on.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: Can I can I invent about something?
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'll I'll let you have it.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: I'll let you have it.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: What did he say?
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: I I uh I hate all the Viking hate, like everyone's all like I don't listen.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: It's it's one of those things where it's you know, obviously we have a top defense, like we're number one or number two in EPA per play and last offensively in EPA per play.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: Whereas the Bills, on the other hand, are like the complete opposite, like they're number one in EPA per play offensively and last 32nd in EPA per play defensively, and it's it's like that meme of like you know, someone coming, I for I don't know how to describe it, but basically, like someone coming in and like saying, like, oh yeah, you're hired, and then the other one saying coming in and saying the same thing, and like, oh, call HR, like this team's a fraud, or something.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: I know what you're talking about.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: I know exactly which meme we're talking about.
- 18:43SPEAKER_02: Do you understand why it was difficult to describe though?
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: Yes, like yes, that's that's a tough one to extract.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Yes, I know exactly what it is.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I probably should have tried to come up with a different analogy, but here we are, anyways.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: I'm off my soapbox, skull bikes.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: So, right now, the Smitty, he has two questions, so of course we'll hop into those real fast.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: So he says, Would you trade Justin Jefferson for Brees and J Mo?
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: No, I would not do that.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: Um, or Brees and Evans.
- 19:13SPEAKER_02: I'd be a little bit more on that one, but so I would do the trade for uh Brees and J Mo.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: And I know you said yeah, so I know you said you wouldn't.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: So for starters, like J Mo's the wide receiver 21 on the year.
- 19:31SPEAKER_02: Uh he he does J Mo things, and I talked about him as a buy-low candidate going into week four.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: I was talking about how his expected fantasy output wasn't aligning with his actual.
- 19:43SPEAKER_02: And the biggest thing for me is you're getting some depth here, like you're getting two pieces that are start-worthy into your lineup, and I would take that, um, especially given you know, just the the state of the running back position right now.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: I fully expect Brees Hall to be back, and as much as I love Mike Evans, I I mean he's great, man, but he is like the wide receiver version of my uh Saquon Barkley, like they just get hurt all the time, and you know me, I'm not one to fade someone, if you will, based on projecting injury.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: Like a lot of people crapped on me about like, oh, Christian Watson's a terrible pick, he's always hurt, this, that.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: It's like, yeah, but a they're younger, and B, like that's a different story.
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: Evans is old, like he he's an older wide receiver, more prone to injury.
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: So I would lean the Brees and J Mo side, and I'd be okay with you hitting accept on that if you wanted.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, if you really, really want that upside, sure.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: I just I just have such a hard time chasing upside with like incredibly low floors because he could drop a donut, J-Mo.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: I'm talking specifically, and it's like, oh, you know, what'd you expect?
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: That's J-Mo.
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: But well, how do you feel about Jefferson?
- 21:04SPEAKER_02: Because I know you were fading him pretty hard at ADP like coming into the season, yes, and so far he's the wide receiver 26 on the season, so he is not delivering on that.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: And I know there was a few games of injury, but even last week, like when he played the whole game, he had 6.4 points.
- 21:21SPEAKER_02: So you know, on a fantasy points per game standpoint, he's probably I'd have to look it up, but it's probably like 12 or 13, but still, you were drafting him as like the wide receiver four or five.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: And you know, it's just what I expected.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: You know, Jefferson, he is a top three receiver in the NFL, and he's not number three on that list either.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: He is still one or two, and it's just all quarterback related.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: And we know me, I'm kind of a game film type of person.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: I will look at the all 22 if necessary.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: And the all 22 said, sorry, Kyler Murray is not a good NFL quarterback, and unfortunately, his production.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Is reflecting that all in a way.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: That being said, now uh I have to shout out Mr.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Jay Snow.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: He did mention in the chat that the Vik that the Vikings have a very good playoff schedule, more specifically, end of season.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, when you're playing against the Falcons, Panthers, Patriots, Lions, Commanders, and Championship Weekend, I think, in specific leagues, week 17, I believe, is the Jets.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Like that's a really solid end of season playoff type schedule.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: And it's something you I wouldn't mind chasing.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: But that being said, I mean say they kept JJ McCarthy the way he's playing right now.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Say they kept JJ McCarthy the way he's playing right now.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Uh small sample size, small sample size.
- 22:43SPEAKER_02: Dude, it's just the worst.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: I I could we could we have so much more to talk about in the show.
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: We can't go down this Viking rabbit hole.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's fine.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: Um, I'll just say this the Vikings schedule is getting more challenging, if you will.
- 22:59SPEAKER_02: And challenging is gonna mean throwing the ball more.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: They've just been relying on that defense and our run game and just making Kyler make a few plays a game.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Uh, we have, like you said, Detroit, Buffalo, Green Bay, San Francisco.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: Those are all gonna be projected higher scoring games.
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: So, you know, there definitely is.
- 23:18SPEAKER_02: I do think Jefferson is a solid buy-low option.
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: I just think if you're getting two reliable starters in that deal, then you're good.
- 23:26SPEAKER_02: But anyways, um, don't you gotta don't you gotta start a dud?
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: I know I should.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: I I really should be getting to it, but god, there's so many questions right now hopping into the chat.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: So, of course, you know, I'm always gonna appreciate the comments in there, show some love and answer them as they come on to the and of course, would you also uh to answer his question?
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: Me personally, I'm I'd rather keep uh just Jefferson than trade him, me personally, uh in this case.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: So uh my player as I log back on track and of course regain my thoughts is gonna be Omar Cooper Jr.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: And he's somebody that that I hyped on heavily, which is very uncare uncharacteristic of me during the starts and sits questionnaire that we did on X.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: Shout out to the X channel, of course, at FF Fantasy Space Podcast.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Uh sorry, FF Space on X, where you could always ask us questions, starts and sits, follow the channel, get news updates.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: Shout out to that Twitter space as well.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: Uh, I was heavy on telling people to start Omar Cooper Jr.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Put him in your lineup, put him in your lineup.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter who they asked.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: I just said Omar Cooper Jr.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: I locked in on it.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: And you know what paid dividends?
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: He had a monster game, and for some odd reason, you know, the fantasy rankings isn't giving him the love that he deserves, showing him as shooter.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: You know, I gotta I gotta look down the list, I gotta scroll all the way down at 28, wide receiver 28 right now.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: He should be in the top 15 right now for this week.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: He's going against the Raiders, the dog water would be the nicest way I could say it.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: The dog water trash, garbage, abysmal, horrendous, okay, terrible Raiders.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: And he's just gonna have a monster game.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: And is it just gonna be terrible?
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be great for Omar Cooper.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: He's gonna have another phenomenal game.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: I'm predicting at least seven catches.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: He's gonna touch near 100 yards and a touchdown.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: He's gonna be a luck.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: Might I say end of season luck?
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: He's gonna be, we're gonna look back at the end of the year.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: We might debate him between the Puka category of like waiver wire pickup of the year, because realistically, like, who else is on that list?
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: I I am curious, what is your reasoning for being so high on Omar Cooper?
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: Like, did you like him as a prospect, like coming out of college?
- 25:55SPEAKER_02: Because I know for a fact it's not the situation.
- 25:58SPEAKER_02: If there's anyone here that hates the jets, it's you, brother.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: It's I don't for some reason, is it just the big play ups?
- 26:05SPEAKER_02: I mean, he to be fair, like he does kind of give me like some potential, and I'm not saying it's there, some potential like Luther Burton type of vibes, like his yards after catch per reception, like the explosive plays, the the yards per route run, like the efficiency metrics are I mean, as you would imagine, are just uh off the charts right now.
- 26:29SPEAKER_02: And based on his like pedigree and profile, he gives me some Luther Burden type vibes, but I was just curious because, like you said, you've been super high on him, so I didn't know if there was any other reason outside of you know just what he's been putting on the field, the eye test.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't know, his Madden score.
- 26:46SPEAKER_02: I know yeah, I didn't know I didn't know if there was anything else, and I was legitimately just curious.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: No, no, I think right now the eye test, when you watch the games and kind of how it goes around and seeing how that offense is developing and uh pushing the ball down the field, it really fits his skill set.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: And a lot of the times it's never talent, it's always scheme.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: That way, uh, if you fit the scheme, then you will always have uh higher potential for fantasy football points because the foundation suits your needs.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: And right now, the offense is suiting his play style, allowing him to kind of elevate himself.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: We see it all the time where teams uh go or players go to teams that don't fit their skill set and then they just fall off a cliff.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: Right now we're seeing it first hand with uh Mike McCarthy, not Mike McCarthy, sorry, Mike McDaniel on the Chargers.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: We're seeing it his scheme doesn't fit the playstyle of Justin Herbert and that offense.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: And you're seeing it firsthand as being a disaster compared to what is last year when it was a more classic drop back pass game, and now they're adding motion, they're adding split flow reads, they're adding uh hybrid looks, they're adding RPOs, and he can't handle it.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: And you're seeing a huge nosed nosedive in not only production, fantasy value, wins, losses, everything.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: And it's just one of those moments where you have to fit the scheme rather than the player potential.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: And of course, you know, that's gonna be my uh start a dud, if you even want to call him a dud at this point.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: But of course, you know what we got a huge show packed, and we're already a half an hour in.
- 28:21SPEAKER_00: We still didn't even get to the news and notes, so let's do that right now.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: Today, Junior.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Today, you got it?
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: NFL headlines.
- 28:45SPEAKER_02: Oh man, transparently to the people watching.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: Um, talk about that next man up uh mentality here.
- 28:54SPEAKER_02: Um, Kelly is also not with us today, so it truly is the Natter Nico show.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: And we're out of our element a little bit, but we are here for the people.
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: We want to give y'all a show.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: Um, so, anyways, let's dive into the news and notes.
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: Uh, I'll make this quick.
- 29:11SPEAKER_02: Uh Lamar Jackson expected to play Sunday versus the Bills.
- 29:14SPEAKER_02: Great news for all the uh playmakers.
- 29:16SPEAKER_02: Uh Colts ownership does not want to trade Jonathan Taylor.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: As we mentioned earlier in the show, they traded Quentin Nelson to Seattle.
- 29:24SPEAKER_02: Uh DeForest Buckner also got traded to the 49ers.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: Um, Colts appear to be in full fire sale mode.
- 29:30SPEAKER_02: Um, as we also mentioned, Josh Downs also requested a trade.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: We'll see where he lands.
- 29:35SPEAKER_02: Uh Tyrone Tracy, running back for the Giants, was placed on the IR.
- 29:40SPEAKER_02: Kyle Menungai is not spotted at practice on Tuesday.
- 29:45SPEAKER_02: Matthew Golden uh logged a DNP on Monday and Tuesday with a foot injury.
- 29:51SPEAKER_02: Remember, they play on Thursday against the Panthers.
- 29:54SPEAKER_02: Rasheed Rice uh returned to practice on Wednesday.
- 29:57SPEAKER_02: Jeremiah Love is set to practice Wednesday.
- 30:00SPEAKER_02: Uh Carnell Tate did not practice today with a shoulder injury.
- 30:04SPEAKER_02: Brees Hall uh was limited at practice today, which is a good sign for him.
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: Uh Tyler Warren, also another one who's missed the last couple games, was back at practice today.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: Uh Saquon Barkley, who a lot of y'all probably saw on Monday night football, he was struggling.
- 30:22SPEAKER_02: Uh, he got hurt on like the very first play, then he tried to play through it, hurt his back.
- 30:27SPEAKER_02: Um, anyways, he plans to play through these injuries.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: We'll see how far that takes him.
- 30:32SPEAKER_02: Uh Jalen Noel uh lands on the IR with a toe injury.
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: Um, and then lastly, Damian Pierce uh landed on the IR, and Jaden Blue signs onto the 53-man roster.
- 30:45SPEAKER_02: Um, Elijah Mitchell, uh, also an option for the Eagles.
- 30:49SPEAKER_02: Uh, so I know we put out our waiver wire post on Tuesday.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: I would go ahead and add uh Jaden Blue and Elijah Mitchell to that list, as they will be backing up Saquon Barkley, who I mean he's only finished like two games this year.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, like he's left at some point during one of those games or missed the game completely in I believe four out of seven.
- 31:15SPEAKER_02: Let me double check.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: I mean, while you're doing that, uh, I'm just gonna piggyback and say I fully agree.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: You know, it's always been an issue with Saquon minus the past two years when he joined the Eagles of consistent injury, missing time, huge uh uh ACL.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: Was it multiple times?
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: I think he tore his ACL.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: I think he also riptured uh ruptured his hamstring at one point.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: It you know, it's just a consistent, it's kind of like the Lamar Jackson effect, where I think Lamar Jackson has only finished a complete season twice in his whole career, and you know, unfortunately, that's just kind of prolonged his frustration with you know our fantasy value and all that good stuff.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: But go ahead.
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, it I was spot on.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: It was two out of seven.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: He's played in two full games um out of seven.
- 32:02SPEAKER_02: So there you have it.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: Scott, like I said, he's kind of like the Mike Evans of the running back room.
- 32:07SPEAKER_02: It's like he'll play, he'll play through it.
- 32:10SPEAKER_02: If he's on the field, he looks pretty solid.
- 32:13SPEAKER_02: I mean, the two games he finished, he had 82, 83 rushing yards and over a 5.0 yard per carry mark, like he was super efficient and good.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: He just didn't score touchdowns.
- 32:25SPEAKER_02: Luckily, on Monday night, though, he scored a touchdown for all of you that started him.
- 32:30SPEAKER_02: Uh, but Natter, I guess just really quick before we move into the starts and sits of the week.
- 32:35SPEAKER_02: Um, is there anything in the news and notes uh that you wanted to touch on?
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: Man, you know, um, as I completely, you know, I feel like it's a huge problem where I lose my train of thought.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: But I think one of the biggest things I want to hype up is making sure that we're picking up handcuff running backs this time of the season because we're starting to see the injury list pile up.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: And you know, we saw Christian McCaffrey.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: I didn't really sorry, I I must uh I don't know if you had the update for him if he played or not or practiced, but you know, if he doesn't play, then yeah, like they're on a buy.
- 33:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're on a buy this week.
- 33:11SPEAKER_02: So that's fair.
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, we had Kalon Black on our waiver wire report on Tuesday.
- 33:17SPEAKER_02: Um, I mean, yeah, absolutely, dude.
- 33:19SPEAKER_02: Brian Robinson, um uh yeah, Kalon Black, Elijah Mitchell, um, all these guys need to be rostered.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, exactly.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: Like at this point, again, I hate to keep actually I love to keep shouting out the X, but at Fantasy Football Space, you want to make sure that you're always following four news and updates where we put up a whole comprehensive list of all the players and the reasoning for why you want to pick them up.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: And that's the biggest reason.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: We're not just telling you to pick somebody up, just to pick somebody up.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, you have them on your roster now, what?
- 33:52SPEAKER_00: But like the reasoning and the thought process of why we're keeping them on the roster and what we're looking for when we, of course, put up the either the waiver claim, spend the fab, or just straight use up a roster bench spot in that place.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: So, of course, you know, you're always gonna want to of course follow the channel, be always here, you know, supporting the show, being in the comments, hyping up, enjoying the chat where you could have that friendly banter as Jason O says, you know, Tanner McGee week.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, buddy, okay.
- 34:22SPEAKER_02: That's hey, hey, Tanner McGee.
- 34:27SPEAKER_02: I think he looks all right, man.
- 34:29SPEAKER_02: I mean, he like as far as the people we care about, Devontae Smith.
- 34:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, we saw what Saquon did on a per touch basis.
- 34:37SPEAKER_02: He also gave Makai Lemon the best game of his career.
- 34:41SPEAKER_02: So I think he I'm not saying he's a great fantasy quarterback, but okay, I'm just saying, just saying he he's he's helping the people produce for the fantasy people that we care about.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: And I respect that.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: When you say that, that's kind of like pretty nice.
- 34:58SPEAKER_02: I mean Hurts looked Hertz is look terri uh terrible.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: I mean, prayers up for him, obviously, but like I mean, he was 23 of 35 for 211 in a tug.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: I mean, he did have a pick as well, but like, you know, good volume.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: Speaking of the Eagles, as I completely distract ourselves from the main topic, uh, we're seeing the the Colts head coach right now.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: He's kind of in hot water, and when they kind of sell off pieces, that's usually a telltale sign that he's gone next year.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: Do you think that they start the Eagles start to think, hey, you know what?
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: What if we replace Sirianni with him?
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: Because we had Hertz had an MVP caliber season, they won a Super Bowl with him as the coordinator.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: What if he was the head coach?
- 35:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, Siriani is I feel like he's kind of been on the hot seat for the last couple years, and then they'll like have a decent year, and then they'll bring him back.
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: Um, and in today's world, like the leash is short.
- 35:51SPEAKER_02: I mean, even though you won a Super Bowl three, four years ago, um, at the same time, it's all that matters is right now, right here, and you know, they've basically moved on from offensive coordinators for the last four or five years.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: I mean, Jalen Hurts has had a new OC every single year, he's been with the Eagles, so it's entirely possible.
- 36:09SPEAKER_02: Um, I could see it.
- 36:10SPEAKER_02: I could also be the Eagle, see the Eagles being sellers as well.
- 36:14SPEAKER_02: Uh, the NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching.
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: Um, I believe it's November.
- 36:21SPEAKER_02: Let me just double check because I don't want to give y'all bad information, but I think it's like November 8th.
- 36:28SPEAKER_02: November 10th, sorry.
- 36:30SPEAKER_02: Tuesday, November 10th.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: So that's pretty good.
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: We'll see how this weekend goes.
- 36:34SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, if the Eagles lose another game and the you know Giants and Cowboys keep winning.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: I think the one thing that's keeping them is the fact that the NFC least is uh really struggling.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, surprisingly, but all right, so of course that is gonna be the news, the notes, and you know, of course, we got the starts and sits of the week.
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: I got you on this one this time.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: Let's start and sit of the week.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: Oh baby, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 37:15SPEAKER_00: I I think I figured out the button clicking this time.
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: So, of course, you know what?
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: We're gonna kick it off the starts and sits with unfortunately a trade.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: Actually, no, I shouldn't say unfortunately.
- 37:23SPEAKER_00: That's me being an asshole.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: With a trade question, yeet, yay, 244.
- 37:30SPEAKER_00: If you say ye, you gotta do it right.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: Yay 244.
- 37:34SPEAKER_02: What's your uh YouTube panel?
- 37:35SPEAKER_02: Yiggity yeet.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: Yiggity yeet, yeah.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: That's my Madden channel, by the way.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: Shout out to anybody that plays Madden.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: Yiggity yeet, you're gonna want to follow anyway.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: I'm not shouting myself out here.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: Would you trade Gibbs?
- 37:44SPEAKER_02: Shout yourself out, man.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: Would you trade Gibbs for Saint Brown and Warren?
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: Other RBs are Josh Jacobs, Ollie, best wide receivers, DJ Moore, and a Buka.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: I'm also five and two.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: Okay, man, my bad.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: Big flex out here.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: Five and two, big flex.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: You're so cool.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: I um okay.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: Um, would you trade Gibbs for Saint Brown and Warren?
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: Um, how do you politely say no?
- 38:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, you just say no.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: Listen, I get it, yeah I see you didn't say I see where you're going with this.
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: Um, and I'm assuming you're talking about Jalen Warren, not Tyler, uh, considering it's a running back.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: But I think for what it's worth, I think it's a fair trade.
- 38:26SPEAKER_02: But if I was in your shoes, I would be focusing on trying to trade Josh Jacobs or Ollie Gordon um for a wide receiver.
- 38:36SPEAKER_02: Uh, so think you know, maybe guys like Devontae Smith, T.
- 38:41SPEAKER_02: Higgins, like some high upside wide receiver twos.
- 38:46SPEAKER_02: Because as we've talked about throughout the entire show and throughout the entire fantasy season, the running back position and the running back market is very scarce.
- 38:55SPEAKER_02: People want running backs, so Jacobs and Ollie both have value, and you can get a wide receiver in return that's better than DJ Moore and Buka, which by the way, I think Buka is a great buy-low candidate.
- 39:08SPEAKER_02: So I would focus your efforts on trying to trade Jacobs or Ollie for a wide receiver too with some upside.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:17SPEAKER_00: Me, I'm just not doing that trade in general.
- 39:19SPEAKER_00: I'm keeping stuff status quo.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: You're five and two for a reason.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: Let's keep it that way.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, unfortunately, somebody started.
- 39:25SPEAKER_00: I actually somebody asked a uh start and sit question earlier, so I saved it for the actual sit segment where you know what I felt like it fit more.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: What's up?
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: Would you start Luther Burden or Michael Wilson this week?
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: Uh Michael Wilson, me personally.
- 39:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, dude.
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: You gotta start Michael Wilson, and I know it's gross, but it it's all matchup driven here.
- 39:49SPEAKER_02: I mean, the the Bears, they're I believe they're going to Seattle.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: I know they're playing Seattle, yeah.
- 39:55SPEAKER_02: They're going to Seattle, who is probably one of, if not the toughest matchups, and it's not like Luther's getting a guaranteed eight plus targets a game.
- 40:06SPEAKER_02: So Michael Wilson going up against the Cowboys.
- 40:10SPEAKER_02: I would fire up Wilson.
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I would uh fully agree with that one.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: So, yes, Gibbs has a tough playoff schedule, Minnesota Jags, Bears.
- 40:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, yes, but it's also Gibbs, like you know, that that offense averages again, like 29 points per game.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: Like, you want the RB on that team.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: Uh, it's it's you drafted him 101 overall.
- 40:31SPEAKER_00: You start him for in the clutch scenarios.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: At least that's how I feel about it personally.
- 40:34SPEAKER_00: Now, Nico, give us a start of the week.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm gonna take us to tomorrow night.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: So make sure he is in your lineups and like any other Thursday night football game, make sure you have him in your RB or wide receiver slot, not the flex spot in case things come up.
- 40:53SPEAKER_02: And I'm gonna go with Josh Jacobs in this one.
- 40:55SPEAKER_02: Now, let's keep the chatter about him on the field um and look at his matchup in regards to tomorrow night.
- 41:02SPEAKER_02: He my start of the week last week was Bucky Irving, who faced the same Panthers team.
- 41:07SPEAKER_02: And how did that go for him?
- 41:08SPEAKER_02: He finished as the RB2 on the week with 23.5 points, and I'm going back, I'm double dipping here.
- 41:14SPEAKER_02: I'm going back to the well.
- 41:15SPEAKER_02: Panthers can't stop a nosebleed right now, and allowing a league-leading 5.21 yard per carry, second most rushing TDs, and second most fantasy points per game.
- 41:26SPEAKER_02: Insert Jacobs, who played 52% of the snaps in his first game back, saw 18 total touches, 11 on the ground and seven through the air.
- 41:35SPEAKER_02: And I realized we're kind of in a situation here where the rubber is gonna meet the road.
- 41:39SPEAKER_02: The Packers, as a team on the season, are the second worst in rush success rate and last in EPA per rush.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: I fully expect Jacobs to only see his snap share and usage increase.
- 41:51SPEAKER_02: This is an absolute dream matchup for him.
- 41:53SPEAKER_02: So if you have him, fire him up with confidence.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and not only is it a solid matchup, but I guess it's no coincidence that as soon as he's in the game, that the offense feels like it kind of elevated and became a lot more balanced.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: You know, antics aside, it's fantasy football.
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: You know, if there's money on the line, then then you know you're you're throwing your morals and values away, regardless of the player and how you feel about him.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: So in this case, put him in your starting lineup and feel pretty confident that he's gonna put up a pretty productive day for you.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: Now, my guy, Stefan Diggs.
- 42:25SPEAKER_00: Ooh, I like it with Terry McLaurin.
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: He had at least four catches and six targets in every game that he played.
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: Now, Terry McLaurin is gone, so you're gonna see his ceiling just consistently arise, but more importantly, you're seeing his floor also arise, and that's to me even more important.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: He's gonna have a nice matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, he's in a weaker division, and you're gonna sit there and say, Hey, you know what?
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: I could confidently put you, Mr.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: Stefan Diggs, in my starting lineup on a week-to-week basis and expect fantasy football points on a consistent regular time.
- 43:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm with you on this one, man.
- 43:05SPEAKER_02: No qualms.
- 43:06SPEAKER_02: I think digs is a I mean, surefire wide receiver three.
- 43:10SPEAKER_02: I think if the matchup is good, he will give you wide receiver two production.
- 43:15SPEAKER_02: Um, digs has you know kind of been, you know, pretty consistent, uh, between like seven, eight targets a game, uh, that should only go up, like you said, and they're coming off their bye week and they're facing the Eagles, which I think they're kind of broken uh to some degree.
- 43:32SPEAKER_02: You know, I don't think they're as stout defensively as they perhaps once were.
- 43:36SPEAKER_02: So um, Stefan Diggs, fire him up.
- 43:39SPEAKER_02: Just keep in mind he did not practice today.
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: What I know it's Wednesday, it's Wednesday.
- 43:45SPEAKER_02: It's Wednesday.
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: Is this a theme for me?
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: I feel like this is like the third time I picked a player.
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: It's all right, it's Wednesday.
- 43:50SPEAKER_02: Okay, they're also coming off their bye week.
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: So I and you know, he's a vet.
- 43:54SPEAKER_02: Most vets don't practice on Wednesdays, to be honest.
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: Okay, you know what?
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: All right, you know what I mean.
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: Because last week I picked a Buka.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: And then all of a sudden he didn't play, not knowing that he was in concussion protocol.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: I had to pivot off that.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 44:06SPEAKER_02: Maybe it's probably a good thing you had to pivot, bro.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: Baker threw the ball like 11 times.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: That was that's true.
- 44:12SPEAKER_02: That is like they just ran it down their throat for pause 10,000 rushing yards between Bucky and Kenny G.
- 44:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Baker threw the ball 11 times.
- 44:22SPEAKER_02: Like Buka would have been a terrible start.
- 44:25SPEAKER_02: Just saying, yeah, so you got thank you.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: You know, it worked out for you.
- 44:28SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 44:29SPEAKER_02: I appreciate it.
- 44:29SPEAKER_00: You're a real one for that.
- 44:30SPEAKER_00: I appreciate it.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: That's what I do.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: Before we go into the sets, Jay Snow, he asks in the chat, please start to Christian Watson.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: I think he's been Christian Watson wrong.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: I think he's been Christian wrong.
- 44:43SPEAKER_02: No, that looks like a lot of things.
- 44:44SPEAKER_02: No, that's right.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: That's okay.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: It's just me.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: I'm just it's just you, Natter.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, fair, fair.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: Or Parker Washington or Stefan Diggs.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: God, how in the world could you sit one of them?
- 44:55SPEAKER_02: Oh, you you do.
- 44:56SPEAKER_02: I mean, I think the clear answer here is digs.
- 44:59SPEAKER_02: As much as much as he's Natter's start of the week, oh my god.
- 45:02SPEAKER_02: I just you know, it's Christian Watson, man.
- 45:05SPEAKER_02: And Golden isn't practicing right now.
- 45:08SPEAKER_02: Um, I mean, Watson to me is a for sure fire low-end wide receiver one, week in and week out, and then same thing with Parker Washington.
- 45:17SPEAKER_02: So I would probably rank both of them, you know, like I said, as low-end wide receiver ones, whereas digs, I would rank him this week as like a high-end wide receiver two.
- 45:26SPEAKER_02: Uh, so I'm gonna go with those two.
- 45:29SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, I just I just googled it and he spelled Christian Watson right.
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: I was thinking in my defense, actually, this is my excuse.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: I was thinking Cristiano Ronaldo, and then I would be correct, but um, that's my excuse because I got it.
- 45:44SPEAKER_00: Um my bad.
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: Okay, all right.
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: Well, you know what?
- 45:49SPEAKER_00: On that transition, give me your sit of the week.
- 45:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so my sit of the week, and last week I had this guy as a start, and it's Bo Knicks.
- 45:58SPEAKER_02: Um, and you know what?
- 45:59SPEAKER_02: He produced last week, but this week I'm gonna go ahead and find room for him on my bench.
- 46:04SPEAKER_02: His stats last week against Arizona were so fluky.
- 46:08SPEAKER_02: He finished, so he finished as a QB three um on the week, and it was aided by a 61-yard rushing TD.
- 46:14SPEAKER_02: And what I wanted to see from Knicks was I wanted to see his efficiency in the passing game, and he failed that test.
- 46:20SPEAKER_02: He went 15 for 29 for 222 yards, and on the season now, Bo is 26th in EPA per dropback, 30th in yards per attempt, and 29th in expected fantasy points per game.
- 46:34SPEAKER_02: Keep in mind, in one quarterback leagues, you're starting 12th, he's 29th in expected fantasy points per game.
- 46:40SPEAKER_02: Now you go ahead and insert his matchup, which is the Chiefs.
- 46:43SPEAKER_02: Chiefs have allowed the third fewest points per game to the QB position, their second and pass TDs allowed, third and least fantasy points allowed per drop back to the position.
- 46:53SPEAKER_02: This is an absolute nightmare matchup for Knicks, and he hasn't proved to me he is worth starting in mediocre to tough matchups.
- 47:02SPEAKER_02: Find room for him on your bench in week eight and do not buy into what he showed you last week when you look at his final stat line from a fantasy football standpoint.
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: You know, Bo Knicks, he's starting to enter the Kyler Murray territory for me when it comes to quarterback play, especially if you just ruin and decimate my boy Jalen Waddle's fantasy value at this point.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: There's almost like a point of no return.
- 47:26SPEAKER_00: And he he's kind of like boy.
- 47:28SPEAKER_00: What no, no, when he was on the Dolphins, he was my boy.
- 47:31SPEAKER_00: Once he went once he went to the Broncos, then he wasn't my boy anymore.
- 47:34SPEAKER_00: We know we flip-flop.
- 47:35SPEAKER_00: All right, you know, fair enough.
- 47:36SPEAKER_00: All my all my homie right now, all my homies, we hate bone.
- 47:39SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, he's crossed that line.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: So, you know what?
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: We're setting bone.
- 47:46SPEAKER_00: I can't stand him at this point, especially because I think in a couple of best ball leagues I drafted him, and uh we're not gonna talk about how I'm doing in those, but anyway, my sit of the week is gonna be Rome Adunzay.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 47:58SPEAKER_00: Because you know what, he's been pretty consistent this season.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: The problem is he's been consistently bad, he has reached 11 fantasy points once all season, once, and you know, week four, congratulations! He hit 15.
- 48:13SPEAKER_00: He's yet to find the end zone, zero tutties, zero tutties.
- 48:17SPEAKER_00: You know how hard it is to put up fantasy value with zero tutties.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: Ask, ask like Jacoby Myers in his first like seven years of the season.
- 48:24SPEAKER_00: He did it, and it was really hard.
- 48:26SPEAKER_00: It became a meme at one point, and he's doing terrible with a limited ceiling against Seattle, who allows the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers, and you're sitting there thinking to yourself, Oh, yeah, I'm gonna go over here, I'm gonna put him on a starting lineup, it's gonna be a good idea.
- 48:41SPEAKER_00: And then I'm gonna wonder why that I have zero fantasy points that week.
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: It's it's it's it's like cause and effect.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: You get what you deserve.
- 48:47SPEAKER_00: And at that point, if you put Robodunze in your lineup, then at this point you just deserve it.
- 48:52SPEAKER_00: He's not even a flex category against specifically this matchup, and even after this week, in a good matchup, he's still teeter-tartering that flex category type of spot.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: But Nico, what do you think?
- 49:05SPEAKER_02: I mean, I I feel you on this.
- 49:07SPEAKER_02: I mean, we got asked earlier would you start Luther Burden or I forget who the other one was, and my answer was the other one because of this matchup, it's brutal.
- 49:16SPEAKER_00: Um, and then you go ahead and watson.
- 49:18SPEAKER_02: Sorry, Michael, Michael, Michael, Michael Wilson, who has been struggling, so that was actually a good question.
- 49:24SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, man, I'm with you.
- 49:26SPEAKER_02: It's it's been weird for Rome.
- 49:28SPEAKER_02: He he dominate route, he dominates routes, he dominates snap share more so than any other Bears wide receiver.
- 49:37SPEAKER_02: Um, but from a target standpoint, he's just not involved.
- 49:41SPEAKER_02: I mean, he's 44th in the NFL in targets per game, while he's 19th in routes per game.
- 49:48SPEAKER_02: Uh, I don't want to say he's the cardio king, I've seen worse.
- 49:51SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, he's just out there kind of running routes and this matchup, specifically to X receivers and you know, those that are just kind of you know out wide.
- 50:02SPEAKER_02: Um, I mean, at best, I think you're getting like three for 50 from him this week, like at best.
- 50:08SPEAKER_02: And it's that's crazy.
- 50:10SPEAKER_02: Like, it's weird.
- 50:11SPEAKER_02: He I feel like he has a lot of like clutch catches, like big catches in a game in the game, but from a fan, he's a better real life wide receiver to have for the Bears than he is a fantasy wide receiver to have, which is kind of where I was getting at.
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 50:26SPEAKER_00: I feel like he kind of knit hit the hail, no, hit the hit the nail on the head, as as the cool kids say it nowadays.
- 50:33SPEAKER_02: Cool kids are not saying that.
- 50:34SPEAKER_00: Uh, what are they there's are they still in the six seven?
- 50:37SPEAKER_01: What no?
- 50:39SPEAKER_02: What are they on?
- 50:41SPEAKER_02: That's so that's over.
- 50:42SPEAKER_02: It's so over.
- 50:43SPEAKER_00: What are they on now?
- 50:44SPEAKER_02: It's never been.
- 50:45SPEAKER_02: Oh, I don't know.
- 50:46SPEAKER_02: I'll ask my uh nine-year-old cousin.
- 50:48SPEAKER_02: Um, see what see what uh the young kids are doing these days.
- 50:52SPEAKER_00: Okay, cool.
- 50:52SPEAKER_00: I need to know so I can incorporate it and then just ruin it.
- 50:55SPEAKER_00: So let's see.
- 50:56SPEAKER_00: OG fantasy footplaces is Rome.
- 50:59SPEAKER_00: Uh Dunes, the new DJ Moore.
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: I feel like DJ Moore is still the old DJ Moore.
- 51:05SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's still the same thing.
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: Um, but I guess I guess Rome is next in line.
- 51:10SPEAKER_02: I I see the I see the comparison.
- 51:13SPEAKER_02: I really do.
- 51:14SPEAKER_02: Um last year DJ Moore was kind of the cardio king for the Bears, while it was all going to Loveland, Rome, and Luther.
- 51:23SPEAKER_02: Um, and this year it's kind of turned into Rome is kind of more so the cardio king of that wide receiver uh group, and it's all going to, once again, Loveland, Luther, and apparently Kalif Raymond, which we hate as a fantasy football community.
- 51:40SPEAKER_02: That dude does not need to be seeing four or five targets a game.
- 51:46SPEAKER_02: He doesn't need to be they need to be going to Luther, dude.
- 51:49SPEAKER_02: I don't know why Luther Burden doesn't play more than he does from like a snap share and route participation standpoint.
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: So dumb, so dumb.
- 52:00SPEAKER_02: And Luther Burden's snap share in regards to the Bears specifically, yeah, is 59.4%.
- 52:08SPEAKER_00: 59.
- 52:09SPEAKER_00: So he needs to be on the field at least 70% of the time.
- 52:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, dude, at least.
- 52:14SPEAKER_02: And let's see what Rome says.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: I'm curious on this one.
- 52:16SPEAKER_02: I think it's probably gonna be Rome is 85.1.
- 52:20SPEAKER_02: Stop it.
- 52:22SPEAKER_02: Stop 85 on dude.
- 52:24SPEAKER_02: I'm good.
- 52:25SPEAKER_02: Are you you must be looking at the same thing I'm looking at?
- 52:28SPEAKER_00: No, no, that was just it, it was just a run blocking potential stat that I was looking at.
- 52:33SPEAKER_00: Kind of like how kind of like uh Gabriel Davis.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: I this is like the third time I've talked about him this episode.
- 52:38SPEAKER_00: I don't know why, but Gabriel Davis had like I think it was 98% snap share, which was higher than Stephon Diggs, of course, in that prime of of uh the the that team.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: And it was because Stefan Diggs would actually leave the field on rundowns and uh Gabriel Davis he would stay because he was a good pass uh run blocker.
- 52:58SPEAKER_00: And I felt like okay, that's probably the same reasoning.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: Roman Dunze is probably a better pass blocker, run blocker, I should say, than than Luther Burden, which is why he's on the field a lot more.
- 53:06SPEAKER_00: Kind of like how Kyle is actually yeah, there we go.
- 53:09SPEAKER_00: Uh kind of a lot of bear talk.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know.
- 53:11SPEAKER_00: I don't know why we're talking about Del Bear.
- 53:13SPEAKER_00: Actually, they have a lot of fantasy value should.
- 53:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're good, they're good for us in the uh fantasy football community.
- 53:19SPEAKER_00: They're they're so you know he will be nice to them now.
- 53:22SPEAKER_02: Good group of guys to have, yeah.
- 53:23SPEAKER_00: Uh fan base, I don't know, but the team they're all right, they're all right.
- 53:28SPEAKER_02: All right, shout out to my boy Zach.
- 53:30SPEAKER_02: Um, he is a Bears fan, he lives out in California right now, and that's suck.
- 53:36SPEAKER_02: He's a really nice guy.
- 53:37SPEAKER_02: So I like him.
- 53:38SPEAKER_02: Zach, if you're listening, shout out to you, brother.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 53:41SPEAKER_00: So, of course, you know what?
- 53:43SPEAKER_00: We got the crusty pick em picks.
- 53:46SPEAKER_00: Let's hit right into it.
- 53:48SPEAKER_01: Crusty pick brought to you by picket.
- 53:53SPEAKER_02: Netter, I need you to start practicing saying this.
- 53:56SPEAKER_02: Krusty picket pick of the week.
- 53:58SPEAKER_00: Crusty picket pick of the week.
- 54:00SPEAKER_02: You dude, you nailed it.
- 54:01SPEAKER_00: That was good.
- 54:02SPEAKER_00: Okay, ask me to do it in like five minutes.
- 54:03SPEAKER_00: I won't do that in five minutes.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: No, say it five times fast.
- 54:06SPEAKER_00: Okay, hold on.
- 54:07SPEAKER_00: Let me try.
- 54:07SPEAKER_00: Krusty picket, picket of the week, crusty picket, picket of the week, crusty picket, pick of the week, crusty.
- 54:12SPEAKER_00: Did you get to five?
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: I think I got to like three and a half.
- 54:15SPEAKER_00: I think I f I felt myself internally, internally uh stutter and then then I just did it actually.
- 54:23SPEAKER_00: Um thank you.
- 54:25SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 54:26SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 54:26SPEAKER_00: So, of course, that's uh uh is gonna be the transitional segment where I also shout out the show to make sure you are following the channel.
- 54:34SPEAKER_00: Hit the subscribe button, make sure we like the video to help out the algorithm, and of course, make sure to check out the yes where you see all the updates, the clips, the news and notes, and of course, any type of content where it comes to asking questions, trade talk, starts and sits gets activated and asked in that section, of course, category.
- 54:55SPEAKER_00: So, of course, we got the betting category, and you know, maybe uh this is a little bit too early of a teaser, but in the future episodes, I think we might be expanding on this a lot more.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: So, of course, if you enjoy this type of content, then of course, hey, make sure to let us know in the comments down below.
- 55:13SPEAKER_00: And also, more of a shout out is where you're gonna see more starts and sits that we aren't able to incorporate on X.
- 55:20SPEAKER_00: So, of course, if you still have any uh hesitation or curiosity on which players that we talk about, you're gonna want to make sure you hop on to, of course, our X at FF Space to make sure you're locked in to make sure you're not putting any duds into your starting lineup, wondering why you lost that week.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: But of course, Nico, as I transition that back to you, give us your crusty pick of the week.
- 55:44SPEAKER_02: Oh, we gotta pull this up, dude.
- 55:47SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 55:49SPEAKER_02: Oh, dude, you see that clown?
- 55:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, dude, yeah, I was dude.
- 55:57SPEAKER_02: I was on Jordan Love over 274 and a half passing yards.
- 56:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, of course he finishes at 274.
- 56:07SPEAKER_02: Now that hurts.
- 56:09SPEAKER_02: What hurts even more is that if anyone watched that game, it was ridiculous how he didn't get there.
- 56:17SPEAKER_02: Um, from the Lions running out the clock to their going for it on fourth instead of punting, which would have given him more opportunities for yardage, or the fact that he was at like 180 yards, like going into halftime.
- 56:31SPEAKER_02: Anyways, I'm I'll stop making this about me.
- 56:35SPEAKER_02: Really was going for the sweep.
- 56:36SPEAKER_02: Uh, I think if I want to lose, I just want to lose big.
- 56:39SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't want to lose by the hook, but here we are.
- 56:43SPEAKER_02: Um, and props to you and uh you and Tip for um providing us with a few green check marks.
- 56:51SPEAKER_02: I think overall here we're as a team, we're doing really good.
- 56:55SPEAKER_00: I think so.
- 56:55SPEAKER_00: You know, I don't really know the statistics of a successful gambler looks like, but I mean, right?
- 57:01SPEAKER_02: Like 55-60 55-60 percent, and both you and uh tip are four and three.
- 57:07SPEAKER_02: Sorry, two, two, three, yeah, four and three, which is above 500.
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: And then obviously I'm six and one.
- 57:14SPEAKER_02: So, I mean, as a team, we are giving y'all some winners.
- 57:17SPEAKER_02: Um my winner this week is Josh Allen over 35 and a half rushing yards.
- 57:26SPEAKER_02: Now, I got this over on Novig uh this morning.
- 57:29SPEAKER_02: No crazy analysis on this one besides death taxes and Josh Allen using his legs in big games.
- 57:36SPEAKER_02: We saw it against the Rams um in week five when he rushed for 123 yards.
- 57:41SPEAKER_02: He's only hit this in two out of his six games, but with this prop, Allen's rushing yards specifically, you got to pick your spots, and this is a great spot for it.
- 57:51SPEAKER_02: He goes up against the Ravens.
- 57:53SPEAKER_02: Uh, it's a high point, high point total, and it's a big game.
- 57:58SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's a close spread, big game.
- 58:00SPEAKER_02: Josh Allen is gonna use his legs in this one.
- 58:03SPEAKER_02: Um, so I'm gonna go with Josh Allen over 35 and a half rushing yards.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: I think that's pretty solid and a half because you you already know when the when the going gets tough, he just runs, he bolts, baby, he books it.
- 58:16SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know what?
- 58:17SPEAKER_00: We're hitting the over on that one.
- 58:19SPEAKER_00: My pick, this one's a surprise.
- 58:20SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 58:21SPEAKER_00: This one's for Kelly.
- 58:22SPEAKER_00: Shout out to Kelly, unable to make it this episode.
- 58:24SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 58:25SPEAKER_00: You could tell I'm thinking about her tight end fantasy uh impact because I'm going Darren Waller plus 18 and a half receiving yards.
- 58:35SPEAKER_00: And why I picked that one specifically because he went, um, sorry, as I lose my train, I thought once a motherfucking gang.
- 58:43SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know, he hasn't hit 18.
- 58:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, sorry, I let me rephrase that.
- 58:49SPEAKER_00: He hasn't gone under 18 and a half in one week this year.
- 58:55SPEAKER_00: His next lowest was 28 receiving yards, which is you know, that's that's nine yards to clear it.
- 59:00SPEAKER_00: So, you know what, as long as he doesn't drop a donut, he will have at minimum 18 and a half receiving yards historically this year.
- 59:07SPEAKER_00: So that's going to be the reason why I'm picking Darren Waller 18 and a half.
- 59:12SPEAKER_00: But Nico, what do you think?
- 59:15SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah, he's hit it in every single game except for the game he got a donut.
- 59:19SPEAKER_00: Yes, exactly.
- 59:20SPEAKER_00: So if he doesn't drop a donut, then he should get it.
- 59:23SPEAKER_02: Now, yeah, I mean, as long as he doesn't drop a donut, that's but it's entirely possible.
- 59:30SPEAKER_02: It's Darren Waller.
- 59:31SPEAKER_02: It is um, yeah.
- 59:33SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, the matchup isn't great.
- 59:35SPEAKER_02: I mean, the Packers are really elite against uh tight ends, they're um they've allowed the second fewest fantasy points per game, but when you look at yards, uh it's also second fewest.
- 59:47SPEAKER_02: So it is a tough matchup, but 18 and a half is not a big bar to cross.
- 59:51SPEAKER_02: Um, I'll be rooting for you.
- 59:53SPEAKER_02: Hope it caches.
- 59:55SPEAKER_02: Okay for the people, we gotta give the people winners.
- 59:57SPEAKER_02: So for the people, we'll we'll make sure to get tips uh pick posted on Twitter as well for you, everyone.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, whichever one, and then you could make sure to ignore that one because you know it's it's not our picks, it's not gonna cash, you know.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_02: He had Ryan Flornoy, uh actually we did, and that was a great pick.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_02: Uh cash like in the first half.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it really did.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_00: He's actually kind of going off while watching that game.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_00: I was kind of going, like, dang, he's he's really going off on here.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_00: And we got because you you're giving crap about Ryan Flornoy.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_00: So you know, I you know, the more I think about it, because we we can't we gave him the most uh you flack.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, no, hold yourself accountable.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_00: You were with me on this one.
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_00: No, we we were making fun of 220 deep sleeper ADP 220.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_00: We made fun of him for that, and honestly Florinoy, out of all the people that outplayed their ADP, he he's one of them, technically.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, I still wouldn't I wouldn't start him, but like he's he's not he's doing pretty good.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_02: I mean, in a deep 14 team league with like a double flex, I'm in one of those.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_02: Uh Flornoy is a solid pick, man.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_02: He's he's seen he's seeing the targets, he's running the routes, he's playing the snaps.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_02: Um, I mean, they're not really running a lot of like 12 personnel, so it's a lot of three wide receiver sets.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_02: I mean, last two weeks he's played 83% of the snaps.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_02: So, I mean, I'm just saying he's probably good for like four for 60, like at best, or like as sorry, yeah, like that's his ceiling, is what I'm getting at.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, his ceiling isn't high, but I mean he's doing better than Roma Dunze, let me tell you that.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_00: So, uh is he?
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_00: I I can't prove it.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_00: That was just me being that was me.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_02: So Ryan Flournoy is the wide receiver 40, and uh Dunse is the wide receiver 41.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, there you go.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_02: I don't know what is up with you with these like spot on guesses, but uh not guesses, but hunches.
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_02: Hunches, it just goes to show how elite that mind is.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_00: Elite.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_00: The only thing elite is never mind, not my mind.
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna say it.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_00: Um, well, on that note, you got anything else before we wrap up the show?
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_00: I feel like I feel like I'm forgetting something, as per usual.
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_02: No, man.
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_02: Um, I got nothing else.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's really all we have for y'all.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_02: Uh, appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 1:02:25SPEAKER_02: I'd say Natter, if you can take us home, take us home, bro.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_02: But I don't know, that brain's sounding like mashed potatoes today.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_02: So I don't know if you need to do it.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_02: I got you.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, like I said, a broken clock is right twice a day.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_00: I had my two guesses, and now it is officially back to being a broken clock.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_00: But of course, that is gonna have to wrap up this episode.
