[SPEAKER_01]: OK, Joe, a couple of days, they're going to kick the ball off and you need to have to wipe it off.
• 0:15
  [SPEAKER_01]: Finally here.
• 0:15
[SPEAKER_01]: And the cold, we get to see some real football finally.
• 0:19
[SPEAKER_01]: And we serve first certainly, we've got to talk about our sponsor, Ed Morris, Sawgrass, Auto Mall.
• 0:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Great guys there, but let's get on to it the game right now.
• 0:25
[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is an interesting game in a lot of ways.
• 0:28
  [SPEAKER_01]: We've seen the Dolphins.
• 0:30
  [SPEAKER_01]: in the preseason.
• 0:31
[SPEAKER_01]: We haven't seen the the starting guys play together at all at one point in this preseason.
• 0:39
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a lot to digest going into this football game.
• 0:42
[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the new NFL.
• 0:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Just get everybody healthy for that opener.
• 0:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's what they don't help you.
• 0:47
[SPEAKER_01]: But you look at the I look at the injury report.
• 0:49
[SPEAKER_01]: The dolphins have about eight or nine guys in the injury report when they first brought it out.
• 0:53
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking at the Coles.
• 0:54
[SPEAKER_01]: They only got one guy on the injured.
• 0:56
[SPEAKER_01]: So you doctor, look, I understand you can play around with the injury list and all this kind of stuff.
• 1:03
[SPEAKER_01]: But my God, I'd like to see on the opening day where you're not worried if Darren Waller's going to play, you're not going to, you're not going to, you're not going to tie reeks going to play much.
• 1:12
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, in Austin Jackson, he's going to play.
• 1:16
[SPEAKER_01]: I would like to be comfortable knowing that all those guys are going to set foot of the field and make an impact.
• 1:23
[SPEAKER_00]: The coach is pretty much said.
• 1:25
[SPEAKER_00]: His beliefs, most of those guys are going to play the one I'm not sure about is Darren Waller who missed a practice little hip injury.
• 1:32
[SPEAKER_00]: But those guys all come in back.
• 1:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: Austin Jackson being back.
• 1:35
[SPEAKER_00]: You realize that starting five offensive line has not played together.
• 1:39
[SPEAKER_00]: this would be the first time with Austin back at right tackle that they'll play together in this game and i think they're kind of the key to this whole thing both that starting five on that offensive line not only they're productive and getting comfortable with each other but also staying healthy throughout the season
• 1:54
[SPEAKER_01]: And it looked Austin Jackson's a big piece and he hasn't played it all of a, you know, of a lot of the lag and so you know that that to me is a big concern and looks, something I on the other side, he's going to be a good player, but you know, this is going to be a big test for him play the whole game and he started got to mention he looked he's going to get beat, he's going to have some issues, but the one thing I know about him is he, when he gets beat, he comes back, yeah.
• 2:20
[SPEAKER_01]: it and so I feel really good about him, but the combination of him and Austin Jackson, who hasn't played a snap all preseason, it kind of concerns me a little bit because that offensive line, Joe, you know, I think everybody that needs to be a strength of this football team from day one in particular, if you want to keep to a tongue of a little on his feet during the courses.
• 2:44
  [SPEAKER_00]: So it's interesting.
• 2:45
[SPEAKER_00]: It does start with the offensive line because hey, you got around the football veteran you did a year ago inside and outside.
• 2:52
[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's wondering about the Tyreak and Jayle of Water on the outside, which I'm with you.
• 2:57
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to get the 22 23 offense passing game down the field back in it.
• 3:01
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I have to run the football better if they're going to do that, but hey, make no mistake about it.
• 3:06
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a job of that coaching staff offensively to find ways to get those guys on the outside on quick slants, take off down the corner routes, deep crossing routes, all those routes that were so successful before last year.
• 3:20
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm concerned on HN.
• 3:22
[SPEAKER_01]: We haven't seen them in the pre-season.
• 3:24
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean he's been dinged up and how dinged up we don't know because we never see that part of it but he certainly has been on the on the list for a while here and and you know if he comes out sputtering or you are you thinking about hey all the Gordon look pretty good I'd like to see all he I'd like to see all he get 10 carries minimum in this game no matter what and if you look if you give him the rock
• 3:54
[SPEAKER_01]: this guy can catch the football.
• 3:56
[SPEAKER_01]: He can run with power.
• 3:57
[SPEAKER_01]: He can run with speed.
• 3:59
[SPEAKER_01]: And we haven't seen a guy like that for a long time.
• 4:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And look, maybe he's a, maybe, you know, we've seen the preseason phenomenon as the, the, the, the, the, the preseason game phenomenon is coming go.
• 4:08
[SPEAKER_01]: And it looks like the real deal.
• 4:11
  [SPEAKER_00]: He is.
• 4:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, and Hans got his place.
• 4:13
[SPEAKER_00]: He can have a big year of that great speed.
• 4:16
[SPEAKER_00]: When he got played before he missed all this time, he looked great.
• 4:20
[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be a big part of this.
• 4:22
[SPEAKER_00]: But they're not going to wear him out by having to play it and you got as he comes in 190, 195 pounds and then you got all the Gordon coming in at 225, 230 pounds, man, with power.
• 4:34
[SPEAKER_00]: I think they can really compliment each other keeping drives going inside outside all the things.
• 4:41
[SPEAKER_00]: But hey, a chance very important in the passing game to come out of the back to the passing game.
• 4:45
  [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's
• 4:47
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we got, we got to go to Tua.
• 4:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: Tua's got to play.
• 4:50
[SPEAKER_01]: Tua's got to be able to get the ball out quickly.
• 4:52
[SPEAKER_01]: We've seen that in training camp, although in the game that he played for a couple series, the first couple series looked pretty disheveled, but I don't really take take much about that.
• 5:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: I think he's ready to go.
• 5:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I think the timing side of it to me, the concern is, you know, if you don't have, they're in a wall or you don't have a tight end in this game.
• 5:11
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, if because, look, Julian Hill, you know, God bless them, doesn't catch them all very well.
• 5:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Tanner, Connor, well, is he going to hold up or whatever?
• 5:22
[SPEAKER_01]: So to me, that may be the key to the softest because, you know, we look, I'm going to go back to what we've talked about a long time.
• 5:30
[SPEAKER_01]: The two, the two, the guy's the fucking two deep defense, just beat the goddamn thing.
• 5:34
[SPEAKER_01]: But you need to, you kind of need to have somebody to tie in that can penetrate the middle to pull some of those safety's down a little bit.
• 5:41
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you don't have that, they get a little cart blotch and you do want to romo the new defensive corner.
• 5:47
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's a, you know, he's a whiz in the second area.
• 5:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 5:51
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be a tough, it's going to be a tough chore for those guys to get the passing.
• 5:55
[SPEAKER_00]: And unless they've got a little help in that tight inspire, but that's one of the strangest things I have ever seen since covered in this team.
• 6:05
[SPEAKER_00]: He may end up being great.
• 6:06
[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be 33 here in a couple weeks.
• 6:09
[SPEAKER_00]: But Bo, he has not played.
• 6:10
[SPEAKER_00]: He's missed two camps in a row.
• 6:12
[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't play last year, he retired.
• 6:14
  [SPEAKER_00]: Comes back this year.
• 6:15
[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't played at all, hasn't practiced against other teams.
• 6:19
[SPEAKER_00]: No pre-season, and they're bringing along slowly.
• 6:21
[SPEAKER_00]: Now he got a little hiccup with a little injury here in the last couple of days.
• 6:26
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're counting on this guy.
• 6:27
[SPEAKER_00]: And they have a number one on the depth chart.
• 6:29
  [SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, wow.
• 6:31
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, how much can you count on a guy bowing and for not being around it?
• 6:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's going from zero to 90 man.
• 6:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I don't know how you do that because I look, I haven't seen them run around at all.
• 6:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't seen him run around at any point during the training camp.
• 6:46
  [SPEAKER_01]: There's a chance, Bo.
• 6:47
[SPEAKER_00]: that they're going to call up one of their two tight ends from the practice.
• 6:52
  [SPEAKER_00]: I would think so.
• 6:52
[SPEAKER_00]: If he's nicked up at all, they're already only go with three tight ends on the active roster.
• 6:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: They'll bring a guy up.
• 6:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: Front seven.
• 6:58
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very happy with front seven.
• 7:00
[SPEAKER_01]: First seven is going to be a beast.
• 7:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: And they're getting
• 7:02
[SPEAKER_01]: to get tested, Jonathan Taylor is one of the top running back.
• 7:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's leading into me.
• 7:06
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's, let's look at this cold football team.
• 7:08
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they've got Daniel Jones, who's, you know, he's a journeyman at this point, you know, you can came from the Giants.
• 7:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 7:14
[SPEAKER_01]: This can be his first shot there Anthony Richardson, who should have been the starting quarterback on this football team.
• 7:19
[SPEAKER_01]: They drafted what was your fourth pick in the draft or take three years.
• 7:22
[SPEAKER_01]: So now they've got two guys that should be great starters that aren't and they're having a mix up, but the one thing to do Jonathan Taylor, I think got 1400 yards over 1400 yards rushing last year and then you look on the other side, they got a pretty stout defensive front that this team's going to have to try to run against in this football game.
• 7:46
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you got to get after him in the secondary Xavier Howard nothing against him.
• 7:49
[SPEAKER_00]: That's men with a great dolphin cornerbacks we've had, but he's at the end of his career starting at cornerback.
• 7:55
[SPEAKER_01]: You know how much is that so much is there an Xavier?
• 7:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know he wants to get paid.
• 8:01
[SPEAKER_01]: how much does he want to play?
• 8:03
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he'll want to play.
• 8:04
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I guess it's all for sure, but then all bets are off.
• 8:07
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I just, him and this game is said, it's indoors.
• 8:11
[SPEAKER_00]: Everything's perfect for the speed of this Dolphin's team.
• 8:14
[SPEAKER_00]: I am not worried about the front seven and I really trust Andy Weaver's defense of course.
• 8:19
  [SPEAKER_00]: No doubt.
• 8:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: No doubt.
• 8:20
  [SPEAKER_01]: No doubt.
• 8:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: No doubt.
• 8:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, there's one thing I'm not concerned about.
• 8:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's Ed Moore's Sawgrass Auto Mall.
• 8:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, never.
• 8:26
[SPEAKER_01]: Those are our guys there.
• 8:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I just got this Cadillac lyric and I'm telling you, but Joe, it's become my favorite car.
• 8:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a great looking car.
• 8:35
  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a great look.
• 8:36
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's comfortable.
• 8:37
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I got the little plug in, I forget to plug it in every now and then.
• 8:41
  [SPEAKER_01]: And you know what?
• 8:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Two times I've already drove a driven into a gas station.
• 8:44
[SPEAKER_01]: And I forgot that it was good.
• 8:47
[SPEAKER_01]: But I know you got the Tahoe, you got the GMC, you know, and a guy like Chris Hatkins in there, running the show.
• 8:57
  [SPEAKER_01]: Teddy, what more?
• 8:58
[SPEAKER_00]: Teddy went Dolphin's biggest fan, nobody, there's not another car owner in this town that takes losses.
• 9:04
[SPEAKER_01]: there's three guys that I know take them really hard.
• 9:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Me, you, and ten more.
• 9:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
• 9:12
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, and that's going to do it for our preview.
• 9:14
  [SPEAKER_01]: We'll can do it.
• 9:14
[SPEAKER_01]: Continue to do this each and every week.
• 9:17
[SPEAKER_01]: Hope we have a good game and hopefully we're talking about a whim next time.
