- 4:31Speaker 4: Of your day.
- 4:32Speaker 2: From Oscar Wild this morning, an idea that is not
- 4:35Speaker 2: dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea at all. Wow,
- 4:42Speaker 2: sweeping right, Oscar Wild. An idea that is not dangerous
- 4:47Speaker 2: is unworthy of being called an idea at all. So
- 4:52Speaker 2: what do you think this means to you? I know
- 4:55Speaker 2: what it kind of means to me, and I'll just
- 4:57Speaker 2: share it with you and maybe it'll resonate. Bold thinking
- 5:00Speaker 2: moves culture forward. Do you want to be one of
- 5:05Speaker 2: those people that thinks boldly or just who thinks safe?
- 5:11Speaker 2: I don't know that there's a right or wrong answer,
- 5:13Speaker 2: but I do know that Oscar Wild is onto something
- 5:15Speaker 2: when he says an idea that is not dangerous is
- 5:18Speaker 2: unworthy of being called an idea at all because bold
- 5:21Speaker 2: thinking changes things. Be a person that changes things today.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Keep that in mind. That's your morning mindset for this Thursday,
- 5:28Speaker 2: the twelfth day of March. And if you need it again,
- 5:31Speaker 2: maybe you want to give it another read. Find it

- 5:47Speaker 2: It is ninety seven point one WASHFM. We're coming up
- 5:49Speaker 2: in just minutes.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Chilling.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Oh. I came across this article that listed things that
- 5:54Speaker 3: we should all know by the age of fifty. Uh oh,
- 5:57Speaker 3: let's take a look at it, you and I because
- 5:59Speaker 3: there's a lot on here, and like, pick your three
- 6:01Speaker 3: that you love the most, and I'll do the same,
- 6:03Speaker 3: and then we'll share it with everybody.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Right, don't move.
- 6:06Speaker 2: This is on the way Tyby and Chilly in the
- 6:09Speaker 2: morning on ninety seven point one.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Watch m check this out.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Things you should know by the age of fifty Chili, Where,
- 6:18Speaker 2: oh where did you find this list?
- 6:20Speaker 3: Well? A former Chicago newspaper guy named Eric Zorn wrote
- 6:24Speaker 3: that these are all the things we should know, and
- 6:26Speaker 3: there's so many on here. I thought we would just
- 6:28Speaker 3: pick a couple and share them that you know spoke
- 6:30Speaker 3: to us.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Right and fly right through it. Okay, Well, here's one
- 6:33Speaker 2: that spoke to me. You can't avoid offending people from
- 6:35Speaker 2: time to time when you don't mean it, Apologize when
- 6:38Speaker 2: you do mean it, accept the consequences.
- 6:41Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I don't know that I've learned that by fifty, but
- 6:45Speaker 2: I'm still learning it every day.
- 6:46Speaker 4: What about you?
- 6:47Speaker 3: Very on brand, promptness, shows respect.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Oh yeah, please don't be late. That's right.

- 7:03Speaker 2: if you're not pushing yourself, you're coasting. Hey, embrace the
- 7:07Speaker 2: idea that it's okay to fail. That's very true, very true, And.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I love this. The most valuable thing to have is
- 7:13Speaker 3: a good reputation. It's neither hard nor expensive to acquire one.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Be fair, be honest, be trustworthy, be generous, respect others nice.
- 7:23Speaker 4: How about this one.
- 7:24Speaker 2: If you're in a conversation and you're not asking questions,
- 7:28Speaker 2: then it's not a conversation.
- 7:30Speaker 4: It's a monologue.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Amat, Hallelujah, And finally, Chili, what you got?
- 7:35Speaker 3: Oh? I love this. Mental illness is as real as diabetes,
- 7:39Speaker 3: arthritis or any other disease and no more disgraceful. It's
- 7:43Speaker 3: the stigma of mental illness that's disgraceful.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yes, I love that. Stomp out some stigmas today together.
- 7:49Speaker 2: And by the way, there's much more to this list
- 7:51Speaker 2: of things you should know By fifty we will post

- 11:51Speaker 3: the gum tastes so good, He's like, I'm so tempted
- 11:53Speaker 3: to swallow it. And I said, oh no, no, if
- 11:55Speaker 3: you swallow it, it will take seven years to come
- 11:58Speaker 3: back out. He said, is that really true? And I said,
- 12:00Speaker 3: oh yeah. And then afterwards, because I was curious, I
- 12:04Speaker 3: googled and no, it's not true. It takes like what
- 12:06Speaker 3: seventy two hours? Nice look at choose spreading the falsehoods. Well,
- 12:10Speaker 3: I'm not going to correct him either. No, I'm just
- 12:13Speaker 3: gonna let him keep believing that.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Right.
- 12:14Speaker 2: What parent would correct their kid with that myth? I mean,
- 12:17Speaker 2: I was told the same myth as a kid growing up,
- 12:21Speaker 2: and I don't recall ever being corrected.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I thought it would be fun, though, to sort of

- 13:16Speaker 3: you still cannot.

- 13:25Speaker 2: I wish that I liked eggs, but nope, God myth
- 13:28Speaker 2: ruined me for life. What's a myth you were told
- 13:31Speaker 2: as a kid, one that you believed for the longest time.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Maybe you're a parent and you just told your kid
- 13:36Speaker 2: a myth would love to hear from you. Talkback's wide open.

- 14:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I told him if you swallowed his gum, it'll
- 14:30Speaker 3: take seven years to come out. But that's not true.

- 19:00Speaker 4: Question is on.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Toby and Chilly's Nearly Impossible Question.
- 19:05Speaker 4: And one more time the question.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Twenty percent of people do this when they go to
- 19:11Speaker 3: a restaurant.
- 19:12Speaker 4: What is it?
- 19:13Speaker 2: Eight sixty six nine two seven forty three sixty one

- 19:27Speaker 4: I love that name, no pun intended.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Oh, thank you so much. My father was a hopeless romantic.
- 19:32Speaker 2: He named me Oh he had you, so he must
- 19:37Speaker 2: have been doing something right.
- 19:38Speaker 3: You're so sweet to say that.

- 19:46Speaker 2: You've got the question, what's your guess?
- 19:48Speaker 4: They bring their own condiments?
- 19:50Speaker 3: Well, okay, so are you one of those people that
- 19:53Speaker 3: have snuck in a condiment to a restaurant because you
- 19:56Speaker 3: don't like their options? Yeah, I'm Asian, so I am guilty. Hey,
- 20:01Speaker 3: there's nothing wrong with that. You know what you like?
- 20:03Speaker 2: That's right, you do. My question is, though, what condiment
- 20:07Speaker 2: do you sneak in?
- 20:08Speaker 4: Now? I'm curious.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Well, we have this thing called like well, it's a mixture.
- 20:13Speaker 3: It's a mixture.
- 20:14Speaker 5: If you know, you make your own like pipe spies
- 20:16Speaker 5: or garlic salt or things like that.
- 20:20Speaker 2: You bring your own homemade condiments. Yes, I love that.
- 20:24Speaker 2: If you're gonna go go big, well that's a great guest.

- 20:29Speaker 4: Amore.

- 20:51Speaker 3: And stick around. Because now that we're talking about people
- 20:53Speaker 3: bringing their own condiments to restaurants?
- 20:55Speaker 4: Do you do that?
- 20:56Speaker 3: Is amore the only one? Give us a call right
- 20:59Speaker 3: now and tell us it. Eight six six nine two
- 21:01Speaker 3: seven four three six one.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Let's talk condiments. It's ninety seven point one. Watch FM.
- 21:07Speaker 2: We're Toby and Chilly in the morning. Have you ever
- 21:10Speaker 2: taken your own condiments to a restaurant?
- 21:13Speaker 3: Well, we found out just a few minutes ago when
- 21:15Speaker 3: we played our nearly impossible question that twenty percent of
- 21:18Speaker 3: people do take their own condiments to a restaurant. And yes,
- 21:21Speaker 3: if you're asking me, I absolutely have. Years ago, when
- 21:25Speaker 3: I started paying attention to the carbon take, I would
- 21:28Speaker 3: take my own salad dressing in a little container because
- 21:30Speaker 3: I knew what ingredients were in it and all of
- 21:33Speaker 3: the things.
- 21:33Speaker 2: And nobody said anything because they didn't really care.
- 21:38Speaker 4: They didn't mind.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Right, thankfully, no nobody has said anything. And now it's
- 21:43Speaker 3: sort of evolved to drops of stevia like I bring
- 21:46Speaker 3: like a bottle of Stevia drops for my iced tea
- 21:48Speaker 3: at restaurants. Sometimes I even put water enhancing like flavored
- 21:53Speaker 3: stuff into my water. But see this is where it
- 21:55Speaker 3: gets tricky, Toby, because it sometimes changes the color of
- 21:58Speaker 3: the water, right, And this server will say, wait was that?
- 22:02Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, it gets water. I just put my
- 22:04Speaker 3: own thing in it.
- 22:05Speaker 6: Bring you fruit pussy exactly. No, you didn't know. You
- 22:08Speaker 6: didn't called me.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Don't charge me for this, And I don't feel guilty
- 22:13Speaker 3: because whatever it is I bring into the restaurant, they
- 22:16Speaker 3: don't offer it anyway. Right, It's not like I'm replacing
- 22:19Speaker 3: their condiment, you know, with mine. It's just they don't
- 22:21Speaker 3: have this version. It's the we don't offer it anyway.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Part of what you just said, which is the reason
- 22:26Speaker 3: why I would take salsa, not just any sauca, in
- 22:29Speaker 3: particular this green truff salsa.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Oh my, got some kick.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It's good and nobody has it really anywhere. I would
- 22:37Speaker 2: carry it in and be unapologetic about it because you
- 22:40Speaker 2: can put that stuff on anything.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Here's the disadvantage. Though I've got a purse, women generally
- 22:45Speaker 3: have some sort of a pocketbook.
- 22:46Speaker 4: They can put little bottles of.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Stuff for a dude. I mean, unless you're stuffing condiments
- 22:51Speaker 3: into your pocket. Massive bottles are a little it's gonna
- 22:55Speaker 3: look very obvious. What do you pack in there? You
- 22:58Speaker 3: have been to see me? Or is that your true?
- 23:01Speaker 2: Even though lately I've been using what they call a
- 23:04Speaker 2: wearable wallet just to kind of maximize the storage space,
- 23:07Speaker 2: the bottle still wouldn't fit in it. I would look foolish.
- 23:11Speaker 2: So tap the talkback microphone. Is there some condiment that
- 23:14Speaker 2: you have taken with you to some sort of a restaurant,
- 23:17Speaker 2: some dining establishment.
- 23:19Speaker 4: What's the condiment? Tell us?
