- 0:21Speaker 1: column Everything Now. Also watches YouTube channel a lot of
- 0:24Speaker 1: great stuff Bill O'Reilly on YouTube, and his new podcast
- 0:29Speaker 1: every week is excellent. It's called We'll do It Live
- 0:32Speaker 1: this week Chess Parliamentary. It's a great, great podcast, Bill O'Reilly.
- 0:37Speaker 1: How you doing.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Good hanging top? How about you? Mark?
- 0:40Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm good. Hey, I love Chess Parlimentary. That
- 0:43Speaker 1: was a great great thank you, thank you. I'm not
- 0:48Speaker 1: afraid to say that he's not a left wing cook.
- 0:50Speaker 1: He doesn't fear Hollywood. That's pretty good, isn't it.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Most of the actors that have reached i'd say forty
- 0:57Speaker 2: five years old, because of their life experience, have kind
- 1:03Speaker 2: of walked away from the madness on the left. Some
- 1:07Speaker 2: of them have liberal sensibilities, but they're not activists like
- 1:13Speaker 2: the younger guys are. Because the younger people in show
- 1:17Speaker 2: business understand that the more anti Trump they are, the
- 1:21Speaker 2: more jobs will come their way. It's like a transaction.
- 1:27Speaker 2: And we see that in music too. That knit with
- 1:32Speaker 2: Rod Stewart said some very inappropriate things the other day. Well,
- 1:37Speaker 2: guess is going out on a summer tour and its
- 1:39Speaker 2: tickets aren't really selling.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that would be Rod Stewart trying the Bruce model.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Spearcy Spearsy Springsteen is a pretty good draw
- 1:56Speaker 2: no matter where it goes. I'm never figure it out myself.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I mean, he's okay, but if I have to choice
- 2:04Speaker 2: between Bruce and the drifters, I'm taking the drifters. So anyway,
- 2:10Speaker 2: But the ones that are on the margin, no, they
- 2:13Speaker 2: can trade anti Trump feeling for commerce. And that's what
- 2:17Speaker 2: you've seen a lot of.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, now, Bill O'Reilly. The President goes to China
- 2:22Speaker 1: later today. He leaves for the trip. You have just
- 2:25Speaker 1: recently been to China, so you know everything he's in for.
- 2:29Speaker 1: First of all, how bad is the plane ride?
- 2:33Speaker 2: Well, it's not not the greatest. You got to bring
- 2:37Speaker 2: some books and stuff to amuse you. In fact, in
- 2:41Speaker 2: fifteen minutes after I get off the marks muncham having
- 2:46Speaker 2: a zoom call with some of the POLYP bureau over
- 2:49Speaker 2: in China at their request. So they want to, I guess,
- 2:55Speaker 2: figure out what the last stand is before Trump leaves.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And I did talk to the President on Sunday because
- 3:06Speaker 2: you have to brief them on this stuff because I'm
- 3:09Speaker 2: in a very unique position. I'm a journalist, but somehow
- 3:12Speaker 2: I got dragged into diplomacy. I don't even how that happened.
- 3:18Speaker 2: So I did talk to him and told him that
- 3:21Speaker 2: this call was set for today and that'll be interesting
- 3:25Speaker 2: to see what the Chinese have on their mind.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Now. Just tell us some things like when you're over there,
- 3:32Speaker 1: security wise, you can't bring your phone because they'll embed
- 3:34Speaker 1: stuff in it.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, you got to bring a burner phone. You
- 3:38Speaker 2: can't use your regular phone. He'll be in surveil twenty
- 3:44Speaker 2: four to seven. If you're a person of note from America,
- 3:48Speaker 2: that's for sure. I had one very famous journalist call
- 3:54Speaker 2: me up. I'm not going to tell you who it
- 3:55Speaker 2: is and said, hey, I hear they take pictures of
- 4:00Speaker 2: of you in the shower. I said, number one, nobody
- 4:02Speaker 2: wants a picture of you in the shower, and number two,
- 4:06Speaker 2: I wouldn't worry about it, they'll tap your phone and
- 4:10Speaker 2: they'll probably have a listening device in your room, so
- 4:14Speaker 2: I wouldn't be given away any secrets. But nobody's following
- 4:19Speaker 2: you are out on a camera.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Oh but they will have a microphone in your hotel room.
- 4:24Speaker 2: The odds are I did the James Bond thing in there,
- 4:27Speaker 2: and I will go all over the place that I
- 4:28Speaker 2: didn't find anything but.
- 4:32Speaker 1: That James fun That was like in the sixties. Nowadays
- 4:34Speaker 1: it's so tiny you wouldn't build a spot it.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, and they can do all kinds of
- 4:38Speaker 2: things through walls and windows and you have to assume
- 4:42Speaker 2: you're being surveil. It was funny when I got picked
- 4:45Speaker 2: up over there at the airport Mercedes Benz, you know,
- 4:50Speaker 2: and the guy who's driving, It would have taken you
- 4:55Speaker 2: thirty seconds to figure out this is not a driver.
- 5:00Speaker 2: This guy, you know, he's not an uber guy, and
- 5:05Speaker 2: he was there to listen and uh, you know, make
- 5:07Speaker 2: sure we got where were supposed to go.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So when you meet with Chinese officials, what is your
- 5:12Speaker 1: impression Totally untrustworthy, totally devious.
- 5:16Speaker 2: No, no, no, they come across the politest people in
- 5:19Speaker 2: the world. They are, you know, the ones that I
- 5:24Speaker 2: spoke with last May when I was in Beijing, having
- 5:28Speaker 2: them spoke English, having them use headphones. The guys will
- 5:31Speaker 2: talk to today, they speak English, and they're very very differential.
- 5:38Speaker 2: They're not competitional at all. They're not. There are a
- 5:41Speaker 2: few menacing guys in there. The Director of Security, that's
- 5:45Speaker 2: you know, the big guy put it, if you're a Weiger,
- 5:49Speaker 2: you're in trouble. You know, he can incarcerainybody wants. Yeah,
- 5:55Speaker 2: those are kind of menacing guys, but most of them
- 5:57Speaker 2: are very very polite and never let you know what
- 6:01Speaker 2: they are thinking.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're to negotiate with them and get something
- 6:06Speaker 1: from them, is there any guarantee it'll happen? That they're
- 6:09Speaker 1: known for never ever a living by any negotiation.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Well, but that's all over the world. So you get
- 6:16Speaker 2: the best deal you can get, and then you get
- 6:18Speaker 2: an enforcement clause, and it's all you can do because
- 6:24Speaker 2: you can't force nations or leaders to do what you
- 6:28Speaker 2: want them to do, and you try to make it
- 6:31Speaker 2: very attractive. And that's what Trump is very good at
- 6:38Speaker 2: in his negotiations, saying, look, this is going to benefit
- 6:41Speaker 2: you a lot if you help us out with Iran.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Iran is gonna be number one in this two day
- 6:49Speaker 2: conference over there. The United States could use China's help
- 6:55Speaker 2: because these are mad men. These are literally crazy people
- 6:59Speaker 2: who destroy as much as they could destroy, and that's
- 7:03Speaker 2: not good for China. So there'll be a number of
- 7:08Speaker 2: discussions about that. But China's going to want some benefits
- 7:12Speaker 2: on Taiwan. That's the problem.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Okay. So if he says to help us, and the
- 7:18Speaker 1: China says, all right, well we'll help you with Iran,
- 7:21Speaker 1: now they see how much it bothers them, so they
- 7:23Speaker 1: whisper to Iran, Hey, keep it up. You're really driving
- 7:25Speaker 1: them nuts. What do we do?
- 7:28Speaker 2: But it's more likely to be if we help you,
- 7:34Speaker 2: mister President, then we want you to renegotiate the Taiwan stuff.
- 7:43Speaker 2: That's the quid pro quo that's more likely to happen.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Deceit is not something that plays well in the international world.
- 7:54Speaker 2: It depends on the leadership, of course. But China is
- 7:58Speaker 2: the United States to sell its products and they don't
- 8:03Speaker 2: want to get on the wrong side of Trump.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Hey, there's a lot of people worried about safety over there,
- 8:09Speaker 1: or poisonous food or something. How safe is he over there.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Listen, Compared to New York City, China is a better
- 8:20Speaker 2: save as you can get because there's one real law,
- 8:26Speaker 2: crimes against the people, which covers everything. Everything you spit
- 8:31Speaker 2: on a sidewalk. They don't want you spitting on a sidewalk.
- 8:35Speaker 2: You know, we'll see you around a couple of months,
- 8:38Speaker 2: and no lawyers, no due process. You know, if you're
- 8:42Speaker 2: a miscreant in China, you're in trouble because they can
- 8:47Speaker 2: arrest you for anything and everything, and they do, and
- 8:52Speaker 2: that's how they control at one point five billion people
- 8:56Speaker 2: that they have living there.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Hey, now, Bill O'Reilly, you were there, aside from whatever
- 9:02Speaker 1: business you were doing there, did you say to yourself,
- 9:04Speaker 1: what a wonderful place. I'd love to come back here?
- 9:09Speaker 2: Well, you know, look, culturally, I got the Great Wall,
- 9:13Speaker 2: which was stunning. I mean, now, it was incredible to
- 9:18Speaker 2: see that walk that thing. And then you had TMM
- 9:22Speaker 2: and square, and then you had you know a bunch
- 9:24Speaker 2: of stuff that you want to see. I do as
- 9:28Speaker 2: a journalist historian, but you know, we were three days
- 9:34Speaker 2: in Beijing and I said to my son, you said
- 9:37Speaker 2: the lead He goes no, because you're it's an uneasy
- 9:43Speaker 2: place you're not comfortable there, and you cannot pursue happiness.
- 9:50Speaker 2: That's the big thing. In America. You can, you know,
- 9:53Speaker 2: pretty much, say I want to do this and give
- 9:55Speaker 2: it a try. Not in China, they tell you what
- 9:57Speaker 2: to do.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Well, interesting stuff. Hey, here in New York you've got
- 10:03Speaker 1: you got these anti Semitic protesters. They're terrorizing people the synagogue.
- 10:07Speaker 1: That happened again last night. He got a mayor that
- 10:10Speaker 1: never says a word about it, doesn't do anything. Have
- 10:12Speaker 1: you ever seen anything like this in New York?
- 10:16Speaker 2: I've never seen a man in office as radical as
- 10:19Speaker 2: them dying. He's the most radical elected official I've ever seen.
- 10:26Speaker 2: The guys are flat out communist. He despises Israel, thinks
- 10:31Speaker 2: it's a fascist state. His wife's even worse. And the
- 10:37Speaker 2: fact that he's the mayor of New York City does
- 10:40Speaker 2: not speak well for the city.
- 10:42Speaker 1: But as the great historian, we'll get through these four years,
- 10:45Speaker 1: won't we.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, But it's gonna be a lot of pain
- 10:50Speaker 2: for New Yorkers because of the taxes and the drack
- 10:55Speaker 2: cone and rules that they're going to put into place,
- 10:59Speaker 2: And that's why a lot of people are leaving. They
- 11:01Speaker 2: don't want to be subjected to this. I mean you
- 11:03Speaker 2: could lose if you're making a lot of money. You're
- 11:05Speaker 2: an entrepreneur, so you own your own business here, own restaurant,
- 11:09Speaker 2: whatever it may be. You can lose a half million
- 11:13Speaker 2: dollars in four years the city. He'll take it.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Well, Bill ahead, Oh go ahead, finish well.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I mean, look, you got to sit down with your
- 11:26Speaker 2: account and go do I want to lose a half
- 11:28Speaker 2: million dollars on my primary business because man Donnie's a communist.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I mean, that's what it is. It's income redistribution. So
- 11:39Speaker 2: the people voted for it because the people who voted
- 11:42Speaker 2: for man Donnie, generally speaking, don't have any money and
- 11:47Speaker 2: so they want yours.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's the keywords. You said. We'll get through it.
- 11:54Speaker 1: We'll get through it. So Hey the podcast. I love
- 11:58Speaker 1: the podcast. Bill Riley's new podcast called We'll Do It Live.

- 12:35Speaker 2: crack or whatever they're doing. I don't know what they're doing.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It's a great, great podcast, and unlike the other ones,
