Orioles Add Lefty Prospect De León | Baltimore Orioles News
The Orioles are turning to their top prospect Luis De León, a 23-year-old lefty from the Dominican Republic, to fill their bullpen void after key arms like Keegan Akin went down. De León made his first relief appearance for Triple-A Norfolk — scoreless, with strikeouts and just a few walks — showing he’s ready to contribute. With Baltimore still in playoff contention, this move could be a game-changer, giving them a fresh, high-velocity lefty to close out the season.
