- 0:22Speaker 2: tabloid real life podcast. Listen in, listen up.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Woo, woo.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Heather MacDonald.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well, let's cover it all.
- 0:37Speaker 1: There's been some updates on some hot topics. The hot
- 0:40Speaker 1: country singer Morgan Wallen, who he was the one that
- 0:44Speaker 1: we talked about that canceled last minute. Everybody was there.
- 0:48Speaker 1: They were ready to listen to him. They had already
- 0:50Speaker 1: sat through three openers that maybe they liked. Maybe they
- 0:53Speaker 1: didn't care. They had their drinks and ready to go.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And they said, so sorry, the show's canceled. Morgan can't come. Well,
- 1:00Speaker 1: a lot has transpired since then. For one thing, he
- 1:03Speaker 1: is being sued by one of those people sitting in
- 1:05Speaker 1: the audience. We don't know for how much, but for
- 1:08Speaker 1: all the reasons that you'd be disappointed that a show
- 1:10Speaker 1: was canceled. Allegedly, this woman is saying, you know, I
- 1:14Speaker 1: came into town. I got a hotel room. I got
- 1:16Speaker 1: a sitter. I bought drinks. I bought merch. I bought tickets.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I planned on this. It was traumatic. Now, it'll be
- 1:24Speaker 1: really interesting to see what happens because obviously this would
- 1:26Speaker 1: set a precedent for when people do cancel. People cancel
- 1:30Speaker 1: because I mean, think about when Kanye West, he was
- 1:34Speaker 1: performing and someone ran up and said, your wife was just,
- 1:37Speaker 1: you know, held at gunpoint and all her jewels were
- 1:39Speaker 1: robbed in Paris. Gotta go, people. I'm gone. I fainted
- 1:44Speaker 1: and fell on my head. The show was canceled. I
- 1:46Speaker 1: had to go home. The second show was canceled. But
- 1:49Speaker 1: then I came back a few months later. But we
- 1:52Speaker 1: also offered those people their money back. So sometimes people
- 1:55Speaker 1: feel annoyed when they don't have the option just to
- 1:58Speaker 1: get their money back. Other people are like, the money
- 2:00Speaker 1: back isn't worth it, first of all. Or if they
- 2:03Speaker 1: don't offer the money back, then they're like, oh, we'll
- 2:05Speaker 1: come back in five months. Well, I can't come back
- 2:07Speaker 1: in five months, Adele. I don't have that week off.
- 2:10Speaker 1: So that was the big problem when Adele canceled, I believe,
- 2:13Speaker 1: just like one or two days before she was going
- 2:15Speaker 1: to perform. This was literally minutes before he walked on
- 2:18Speaker 1: the stage.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Well, now.
- 2:22Speaker 1: The label is saying this isn't true, but there has
- 2:25Speaker 1: been an accusation that the singer was too drunk to perform,
- 2:29Speaker 1: that some security guard was heard saying he's too drunk
- 2:32Speaker 1: to perform. Annie, who works with me, as you know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: went to Ole Miss. She had the scoop that he
- 2:39Speaker 1: was partying with sorority girls in Ole Miss the night before.
- 2:43Speaker 1: So was he drunk? Was he hungover? Did he lose
- 2:46Speaker 1: his voice? Because we all know when you really have
- 2:48Speaker 1: a crazy party night, Sometimes you do get the raspy
- 2:51Speaker 1: voice and sometimes you are like, why? You know, you're
- 2:53Speaker 1: just kind of sick. We don't really know the exact reason, but,
- 3:00Speaker 1: you know, it is pretty juicy. And what happens when
- 3:05Speaker 1: people cancel? Sometimes people cancel because their tickets aren't selling.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Usually that happens enough in advance that everyone gets their
- 3:12Speaker 1: money back. The venue accepts it. This is a totally
- 3:16Speaker 1: different thing where you're literally about to have the person
- 3:18Speaker 1: walk on stage. There was another person. Oh, The Weeknd.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I remember The Weeknd was performing. And after like the
- 3:25Speaker 1: second or third song, he was like, I can't do this.
- 3:28Speaker 1: My voice, you know, is just not the way I
- 3:31Speaker 1: want it to be. So I really don't know how
- 3:34Speaker 1: it works with people and what happens. But I doubt
- 3:37Speaker 1: that this girl is going to prevail in receiving any
- 3:39Speaker 1: kind of money. Okay. Also, this is coming from All
- 3:44Speaker 1: About the Real Housewives. This is from Dumois. That little
- 3:48Speaker 1: Vanderpump update. Tom Sandoval was stopped by TMZ yesterday, and
- 3:54Speaker 1: he was making it very clear to the reporter that, yes, Raquel,
- 4:00Speaker 1: his girlfriend slash mistress, you know, star of the show,
- 4:05Speaker 1: she is in a mental health facility. Well, according to
- 4:08Speaker 1: Des Moines, it said Sandoval was at Miraval. My something
- 4:15Speaker 1: is a yoga instructor. They don't want to out the girl.
- 4:18Speaker 2: There.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And she said that Mirabelle did the social media post
- 4:20Speaker 1: where they said, best times of her life and showed
- 4:23Speaker 1: the bar. Because Tom was fake crying on the phone
- 4:28Speaker 1: and all upset and whiny because the public was finding out.
- 4:31Speaker 1: So they did that post and Tom shared it to
- 4:34Speaker 1: get the word out even more so that people would
- 4:36Speaker 1: think that he wasn't there and wouldn't stalk the place
- 4:40Speaker 1: or have the media there. He even asked to be
- 4:42Speaker 1: comped or something. Well, I don't even understand this because
- 4:47Speaker 1: I think that he is just loving the attention. One
- 4:50Speaker 1: thing he said on the streets with the TMZ guy
- 4:53Speaker 1: is the guy goes, now you guys are like, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: really famous celebrities. You really weren't before. And he was
- 4:58Speaker 1: kind of like, I think I am. So it is very,
- 5:02Speaker 1: it's crazy to see this all come down. What will happen? Again,
- 5:08Speaker 1: my prediction, my prediction is Tom Sandoval comes back. to
- 5:12Speaker 1: the next season and is filming because he has business
- 5:15Speaker 1: with Tom Schwartz. And I believe that Raquel will not.
- 5:19Speaker 1: That is just my opinion. But he made it very
- 5:22Speaker 1: clear to the reporter, Raquel is in a mental facility.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Do you understand? She's in a mental facility. She's in
- 5:29Speaker 1: a mental facility. Leave her alone. Okay. We don't know.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Does that mean Miraval? Does that mean something else? Does
- 5:35Speaker 1: that mean, you know, something really severe? That's what he's saying.
- 5:40Speaker 1: So a little update on that. We'll watch the show tonight,
- 5:43Speaker 1: see what's going on. Travis Barker has an enema that
- 5:49Speaker 1: he's selling. It's $ 182. It's paired with liquid death water. And,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you know, I used to hear about enemas. I kind
- 5:58Speaker 1: of feel like they're the poor man's colonic. A colonic
- 6:01Speaker 1: is where you actually go to a woman for like
- 6:02Speaker 1: $ 100 or a man, and they put this little thing
- 6:06Speaker 1: up your butt. And it goes up and you can
- 6:09Speaker 1: like look because I've done it twice and it was
- 6:12Speaker 1: pretty exciting. And then you look and you like see
- 6:15Speaker 1: stuff going by. And the whole reason I got it
- 6:18Speaker 1: is one time I listened to this girl on Howard
- 6:20Speaker 1: Stern about 12 years ago that said that when she
- 6:23Speaker 1: was a little girl, her mom said that she swallowed
- 6:28Speaker 1: a barbecue and they thought she was going to die
- 6:30Speaker 1: or whatever. She said she got this colonic and then
- 6:33Speaker 1: looked at it, like, you know, just looking at it
- 6:35Speaker 1: like this water going through like a water slide. But
- 6:38Speaker 1: it's and she saw a little Barbie shoe come out
- 6:41Speaker 1: and she was like 30. So it was like allegedly
- 6:44Speaker 1: in her for that. So whatever. Lots of people do it.
- 6:47Speaker 1: They want to do it like before red carpet or whatever.
- 6:50Speaker 1: In Enema, the only time I've really heard about it, Enema,
- 6:53Speaker 1: is when Shannon Storms Bedora was with David Bedora and
- 6:56Speaker 1: She was trying to do an enema and part of
- 6:59Speaker 1: it broke off and then she had to have David
- 7:01Speaker 1: like help her get it out. I know this is shocking.
- 7:04Speaker 1: They eventually got divorced, but whatever. Travis is saying this
- 7:07Speaker 1: is what brought him and Kourtney together. A lot of
- 7:10Speaker 1: people are calling him now Travis Kardashian. Like, really? You're
- 7:14Speaker 1: selling this? I think it's all for publicity. I don't
- 7:18Speaker 1: think he's going to make actual real money on selling
- 7:21Speaker 1: this $ 182. It's supposed to be like a piece of art.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You're actually not supposed to put it up your butt.
- 7:26Speaker 1: And they said, you know, we don't want to make
- 7:29Speaker 1: sure anyone gets hurt. We don't want a David Bedore,
- 7:31Speaker 1: Shanna Bedore situation. Like, you should just put it, like,
- 7:34Speaker 1: on a shelf and just, like, have it look pretty,
- 7:37Speaker 1: like your Gwyneth Paltrow vagina candle smell. I think that's
- 7:42Speaker 1: exactly it. It's just a way to get us to
- 7:44Speaker 1: continue to talk about them before the Hulu show comes out,
- 7:48Speaker 1: make it seem like it's funny. And we are. So
- 7:51Speaker 1: it worked. But I don't know. Do people still... It
- 7:55Speaker 1: seems like a lot of work, but I guess people
- 7:58Speaker 1: do it just to make, to have a clean one.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Clean as a whistle. Clean as a whistle. Okay. Speaking
- 8:06Speaker 1: of a-holes. Okay. So Savannah Chrisley, daughter of convicted criminals,
- 8:14Speaker 1: her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, went on Southwest and
- 8:19Speaker 1: was very annoyed with the Southwest people. In fact, she
- 8:23Speaker 1: called the Southwest police. person helping her in a hole,
- 8:27Speaker 1: which then got her thrown off the flight, thrown off
- 8:30Speaker 1: the flight.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Right.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Was she thrown off? She was denied. Okay. So, so anyway,
- 8:36Speaker 1: she did a whole Instagram story. I love it when
- 8:38Speaker 1: people do an Instagram story about when, when they think
- 8:43Speaker 1: they're receiving poor customer service, when actually they're the awful customer,
- 8:47Speaker 1: like there's nothing better. And they're putting it out there. Like,
- 8:50Speaker 1: can you guys believe it? And everyone's like, yeah, you're awful.
- 8:54Speaker 1: So she arrived late to the flight and she, they're like, yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 1: you need to check in your bag. Sometimes that happens.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Sometimes you, you know, you have a bag that's standard
- 9:05Speaker 1: size to go over, but it's too late. Southwest, you know,
- 9:08Speaker 1: there aren't assigned seats. So if you arrive late and
- 9:11Speaker 1: everything's full, they're like, hey, we're going to have to
- 9:13Speaker 1: just put in the back. They don't charge you. And
- 9:15Speaker 1: then you're going to have to go and get it
- 9:16Speaker 1: in the carousel after. Okay. That's just life. And she
- 9:20Speaker 1: was refusing. She was like, let me just go and
- 9:23Speaker 1: make sure, let me make sure that there's no spots available.
- 9:26Speaker 1: And the guy's like, no. And, um, so, you know,
- 9:30Speaker 1: it's just another person being awful to the airlines. Let
- 9:33Speaker 1: me tell you juicy scoopers that work for the airlines.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I am a delight. And, um, I will, if I'm
- 9:42Speaker 1: fine checking my bag, if you tell me I have
- 9:43Speaker 1: to check my bag, I, I barely even asked for
- 9:47Speaker 1: water and I just, I just want to get to
- 9:50Speaker 1: my destination and I know it's hard. I don't care
- 9:53Speaker 1: that you slam the thing over and over to shut it.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I understand that's your job. And I'm just, it's just
- 10:00Speaker 1: a lot. And you'll never, there'll never be a story
- 10:03Speaker 1: about me on, now someone will say this years from now. Okay. Anyway,
- 10:10Speaker 1: not great. And you know what? But we wouldn't be
- 10:13Speaker 1: talking about you otherwise. So just, I guess, be an
- 10:16Speaker 1: asshole if you want to be on Juicy Scoop. I
- 10:19Speaker 1: got some criticism from Tuesday's show because I didn't get
- 10:22Speaker 1: into the details of Tucker Carlson being fired. We know
- 10:27Speaker 1: Don Lemon was fired. We know that a while ago
- 10:31Speaker 1: he said the disparaging thing about Nikki Haley, who is
- 10:34Speaker 1: running for president, saying she is Pastor Prime. And we
- 10:38Speaker 1: talked about Pastor Prime. He's still got to be on
- 10:41Speaker 1: the show for a while. There are a couple other
- 10:42Speaker 1: elements that I've seen on Hollywood Unlocked and stuff that
- 10:45Speaker 1: people feel like you know, he was in the right,
- 10:48Speaker 1: but that he was saying to his executives, like, I, I'm,
- 10:51Speaker 1: you know, he really had a strong opinion and he's like,
- 10:53Speaker 1: I can't have you in my ear and all these reasons.
- 10:56Speaker 1: He since allegedly has hired the same powerhouse attorney that
- 11:00Speaker 1: Chris Cuomo used when he got fired and he got
- 11:04Speaker 1: a huge payout. And allegedly he's suing for another 25 million. Meanwhile,
- 11:08Speaker 1: on the same day, Tucker Carlson from Fox, who has
- 11:11Speaker 1: like the number one show on there, got fired as well.
- 11:14Speaker 1: And the reason I didn't talk about it on Tuesday
- 11:15Speaker 1: is because there wasn't that much information. Now I understand
- 11:18Speaker 1: a little bit more. I've read a lot of articles
- 11:21Speaker 1: on it. There's still a lot of confusion. There's a
- 11:22Speaker 1: few things happening. For one, Fox News just lost a
- 11:27Speaker 1: huge lawsuit in which they're going to have to pay
- 11:29Speaker 1: almost $ 800 million about misinformation with this voting situation. And
- 11:35Speaker 1: I guess they reported on it. And it's a big deal.
- 11:38Speaker 1: So that's one big hurdle for the network. Secondly... Tucker
- 11:44Speaker 1: Carlson used vulgar language to describe a network executive, Sidney Powell,
- 11:48Speaker 1: and he called her a C-word and a bitch in
- 11:50Speaker 1: a text message. He also said, I guess, derogatory things
- 11:55Speaker 1: about Donald Trump. But then there's also this other woman
- 12:00Speaker 1: that was a booking producer, meaning she booked guests, and
- 12:05Speaker 1: she has made complaints. And she allegedly has recorded him
- 12:11Speaker 1: saying things that are not good. And I don't know
- 12:14Speaker 1: where that lawsuit stands, but I think they just wanted
- 12:17Speaker 1: to get rid of him. And I think they also
- 12:20Speaker 1: are kind of holding that over his head being like,
- 12:22Speaker 1: if you come after us with the Chris Cuomo, Don
- 12:26Speaker 1: Lemon attorney to try to get another like 50 grand
- 12:29Speaker 1: or something, 50 million, we've got these tapes of you
- 12:33Speaker 1: saying something probably pretty awful. Other reports are that like,
- 12:37Speaker 1: it was hard to work there, that there was, um,
- 12:40Speaker 1: It was very frat boy and it was very sexist
- 12:43Speaker 1: in the office. I don't think that's a surprise. I mean,
- 12:45Speaker 1: why would you be shocked? But again, if you're a
- 12:47Speaker 1: woman working there, that's a whole nother thing. Interestingly, there
- 12:53Speaker 1: is a case called the Friends case talked about on
- 12:55Speaker 1: the show before. It was a huge deal. And it
- 12:58Speaker 1: was in the writer's room where I believe she was
- 13:02Speaker 1: an intern, wanted to sue Friends because she was in
- 13:05Speaker 1: the writer's room. And in hearing the writer speak, There
- 13:09Speaker 1: was a lot of sexual discussions and stories that then
- 13:12Speaker 1: she said she was offended by and therefore she wanted
- 13:16Speaker 1: to sue. It went to the Supreme Court and they
- 13:19Speaker 1: said in a creative space, this has to be allowed
- 13:24Speaker 1: because these writers are sharing their dating stories and stuff
- 13:26Speaker 1: to come up with storylines for the Friends script. So
- 13:31Speaker 1: I don't know if that applies in a news show. Now,
- 13:34Speaker 1: this is an opinionated news show. So I don't even
- 13:36Speaker 1: know if this court case is going to go. But
- 13:39Speaker 1: I think all these things are interesting. Of course, he's
- 13:44Speaker 1: very popular. He's going to do fine. And just like
- 13:47Speaker 1: everybody else that has been fired from these big, you know,
- 13:51Speaker 1: anchor and network jobs, if they have a big following,
- 13:55Speaker 1: The world has allowed them to still make money and
- 13:57Speaker 1: you can still find them and enjoy their podcasts or
- 14:00Speaker 1: YouTube wherever he goes. I doubt he'll go to another network.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I think he'll probably do his own thing like Megyn Kelly. Okay,
- 14:07Speaker 1: so now this is a juicy speaking of YouTube story.
- 14:12Speaker 1: There is this mom. She is the mother of this
- 14:17Speaker 1: quite popular YouTube teenager at the time. She's only 15
- 14:22Speaker 1: years old. Her name's Piper Rockell. Like, okay. And this
- 14:27Speaker 1: is pretty bad. So she is facing allegations of harassment, molestation, abuse,
- 14:33Speaker 1: and it's going to trial and it starts on Monday.
- 14:36Speaker 1: So 11 content creators have gotten together and they're accusing
- 14:40Speaker 1: Tiffany Smith, the mother of Piper, of emotional, verbal, physical,
- 14:44Speaker 1: and time, at the time, sexual abuse. They said she
- 14:48Speaker 1: would stick her fingers in their butts when they walked by.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Also saying sexually explicit things to the male teens about
- 14:53Speaker 1: their penises. It was a weird show. It was kind
- 14:57Speaker 1: of like a fake, like they would have fake romances
- 15:01Speaker 1: that everyone would get involved with. So it was like
- 15:03Speaker 1: Piper and her friends and they'd all come over to
- 15:05Speaker 1: the house and they'd be like, okay, kiss your crush,
- 15:08Speaker 1: which is also kind of gross that she's like forcing
- 15:10Speaker 1: young kids to either fake or kiss or get into
- 15:15Speaker 1: like these relationships that aren't real. That caused a lot
- 15:18Speaker 1: of problems too, because as people watch this, believing these
- 15:21Speaker 1: relationships were real, then when someone would break up with
- 15:24Speaker 1: the other, then the content creator would get like harassed online.
- 15:28Speaker 1: And it was all orchestrated by this woman and her boyfriend.
- 15:32Speaker 1: She also mailed her daughter's soiled bras and panties to
- 15:36Speaker 1: an unknown individual and said to the other content creators,
- 15:40Speaker 1: men like this. I make money on this. These YouTubers
- 15:44Speaker 1: were also part of the Piper Squad, as I said,
- 15:46Speaker 1: and they participated in her videos from 2017 to 2020
- 15:48Speaker 1: for more than 10 million subscribers. They also... Tiffany, the mom,
- 15:56Speaker 1: also allegedly conspired to intentionally interfere with her individual YouTube channels.
- 16:00Speaker 1: So once they said, we're done with you, we're out,
- 16:04Speaker 1: we don't want to be part of your thing anymore,
- 16:06Speaker 1: we aren't getting compensated, she then, they believe, went on
- 16:11Speaker 1: to use bots and false report them to YouTube to
- 16:15Speaker 1: screw their own personal channels down. So then they weren't
- 16:18Speaker 1: getting the views, they weren't getting the ads, they were
- 16:21Speaker 1: getting blocked by YouTube. you know, where people kind of
- 16:24Speaker 1: can do this, just like how they send bots to
- 16:26Speaker 1: go after you. They can also send bots to other
- 16:29Speaker 1: people or, you know, they believe they knew how to
- 16:31Speaker 1: do that. Each teen is asking for $ 2 million. So
- 16:34Speaker 1: it's a total of a lawsuit all with under one
- 16:36Speaker 1: attorney for $ 22 million. Also, Smith, the mother, tried to
- 16:40Speaker 1: sue their mothers for $ 30 million last year, but dropped
- 16:43Speaker 1: the suit. So now they're going after her. Again, in
- 16:47Speaker 1: everything I've talked about, in minors making money on YouTube
- 16:51Speaker 1: with their parents involved, This, it's all coming down to,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I believe there will really be some real case law
- 16:59Speaker 1: happening in the next couple of years. So good for
- 17:02Speaker 1: them for figuring it out. This is Drew Barrymore. A
- 17:05Speaker 1: lot of people sent this to me. I had to
- 17:07Speaker 1: look up the clip. She was interviewing Ben Affleck and
- 17:11Speaker 1: it was a good interview, but she was crawling on
- 17:13Speaker 1: the ground. He was on a big screen during Zoom.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And I just want to know why she was crawling
- 17:17Speaker 1: on the ground. And it was because she was just
- 17:19Speaker 1: really excited because she was talking about his career. And
- 17:21Speaker 1: she's like, Tell me, tell me, Ben, when you wrote Argo,
- 17:26Speaker 1: which I think about every single day, how, how, and
- 17:31Speaker 1: the shirt's climbing. How did you think of writing that
- 17:33Speaker 1: amazing scene? He's just like in his house on a Zoom,
- 17:37Speaker 1: like watching her crawl around. Anyway, we love her. Good
- 17:41Speaker 1: for her. Now this I've seen about 18 articles on
- 17:45Speaker 1: and I'm like, Annie, what is the deal? Sidney Sweeney
- 17:49Speaker 1: from Euphoria, pretty girl. She was also in White Lotus.
- 17:53Speaker 1: She has huge natural boobs. I just say that because
- 17:57Speaker 1: when I say who, when you'll go, oh, now I
- 17:59Speaker 1: know who you're talking about. And it's part of her
- 18:02Speaker 1: and she's a talented actress. Anyway, she is doing this
- 18:05Speaker 1: rom-com with this guy who was in Top Gun named
- 18:10Speaker 1: Glenn Powell. And I am like, this is about the
- 18:13Speaker 1: best PR machine I think I've ever seen. I didn't
- 18:16Speaker 1: know they were doing a movie together. And the movie
- 18:18Speaker 1: is called, what's the It's called Anyone But You. And
- 18:22Speaker 1: I don't know, they're both, you know, they can't find love.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I think it's good that some new romantic comedies are
- 18:28Speaker 1: coming along. I hope that this is one that feels
- 18:31Speaker 1: like Gen Z can get into it and it, like,
- 18:34Speaker 1: feels funny. Anyway, it's a big deal because I guess
- 18:39Speaker 1: he had a girlfriend, right, during the time of the filming.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And a lot of people are saying, we think that
- 18:44Speaker 1: they are a couple and she calls him Top Gun.
- 18:48Speaker 1: And they did some interviews together. So I'm like, what
- 18:50Speaker 1: is the deal? Like, why is this such a big deal? Anyway,
- 18:53Speaker 1: because he had a girlfriend back home. But then I
- 18:55Speaker 1: saw an interview and I'm like, I don't think they're
- 19:00Speaker 1: a couple. I really don't. They were saying, what do
- 19:03Speaker 1: you think? What's her perfect date? You know, and then
- 19:06Speaker 1: he joked and it's like, oh, I think it's seeing
- 19:08Speaker 1: like soccer team in the locker room, like rugby. I
- 19:12Speaker 1: think it's her seeing going into the locker room, a
- 19:14Speaker 1: rugby player. And he's like laughing and they're laughing. I
- 19:17Speaker 1: thought they just seemed like platonic best friends that have
- 19:19Speaker 1: worked on a movie together and spent 15 hours a
- 19:22Speaker 1: day together. So I don't know how the girlfriend feels
- 19:25Speaker 1: about it, but I mean, yeah, I guess I'd have
- 19:27Speaker 1: some questions, but this is like, or this is just
- 19:30Speaker 1: a really great PR thing because now we know about
- 19:32Speaker 1: the movie. We don't know when it's coming out, but
- 19:34Speaker 1: it has been, you know, it's in the can and
- 19:37Speaker 1: they're getting all this press. So kind of genius.

- 20:01Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:04Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:07Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 20:12Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 20:18Speaker 2: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 20:21Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:23Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:26Speaker 4: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 20:28Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:31Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 20:32Speaker 4: I need a home dad. What happens next?
- 20:34Speaker 1: When I came in, he started crying.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 20:40Speaker 4: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 20:43Speaker 4: happens next.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 20:47Speaker 2: You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm not going to
- 20:50Speaker 2: pull punches.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 20:53Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:07Speaker 1: Honey Boo Boo went to prom. I've never seen more
- 21:10Speaker 1: articles on this. Good for her. She went to prom.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Her parents were there. Her boyfriend is 21. He's had
- 21:17Speaker 1: some legal issues. I can't remember what. I just want
- 21:20Speaker 1: to say to Honey Boo Boo and everybody, I think
- 21:23Speaker 1: it's time we just let Honey Boo Boo just be
- 21:25Speaker 1: Honey Boo Boo or whatever her real name is. Alana,
- 21:30Speaker 1: just like, I think this ship has sailed. I don't
- 21:33Speaker 1: know that there's any more shows in the future. I
- 21:35Speaker 1: don't know that there's like a real interest for it.
- 21:38Speaker 1: And I think it's great that she went to prom
- 21:40Speaker 1: and I guess, you know, she posted on her Instagram
- 21:43Speaker 1: and it's slow to NTMZ, you know, but then everybody
- 21:46Speaker 1: gets involved and writes their, and I'm just like, I
- 21:48Speaker 1: just like want this chick to be happy. She was
- 21:51Speaker 1: another one that didn't ask to be in pageants, didn't
- 21:54Speaker 1: ask to have ketchup on her spaghetti, didn't ask to be,
- 21:57Speaker 1: you know, in the Honey Boo Boo show with her mom,
- 22:00Speaker 1: who then was, you know, once fat, now not. Remember,
- 22:04Speaker 1: she lost all that weight. What's the mom's name? Mama June.
- 22:07Speaker 1: She had different men that, you know, were child molesters
- 22:12Speaker 1: that she married, then divorced, then drug rehabbed, and the
- 22:15Speaker 1: sister took a... I mean, it's just like, ugh. Ew.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Will Ferrell obviously listens to Juicy Scoop because, as you recall,
- 22:24Speaker 1: I had my son, Frank Tobias, on my show. And
- 22:27Speaker 1: he covered the whole juicy scoop story about the golf
- 22:32Speaker 1: situation with the PGA Tour and the LIV Live drama.
- 22:38Speaker 1: So you're welcome. You're welcome. He's going to play a
- 22:42Speaker 1: golfer who gets caught in the middle of that controversy.
- 22:46Speaker 1: If you would like, Will, for my son Drake to
- 22:48Speaker 1: be a PA or a script consultant, he is free
- 22:52Speaker 1: this summer between his sophomore and junior year at ASU.
- 22:56Speaker 1: And I'm good to play a golf wife of any sort. Obviously,
- 23:01Speaker 1: I know what that's like. Jen Aniston and her ex,
- 23:05Speaker 1: Justin Theroux, was seen having dinner in New York with
- 23:08Speaker 1: Jason Bateman and his wife. And they came separately. They
- 23:13Speaker 1: left separately. She left just holding a rose. And if
- 23:16Speaker 1: she was here and she was asked about it, she'd
- 23:18Speaker 1: be like, ugh! Please, what have I told you? Justin
- 23:22Speaker 1: and I are friends. Jason and I are the best
- 23:25Speaker 1: of friends. I love his wife. She is fabulous. We
- 23:28Speaker 1: had some margaritas. We had some pasta we shouldn't have had.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I love an arugula artichoke salad. And yeah, it's good.
- 23:37Speaker 1: It's just a New York night with old friends and
- 23:39Speaker 1: old husbands. I am great. I am good. Leave me alone.
- 23:45Speaker 1: That was all fine. Love is Blind fans are like,
- 23:49Speaker 1: get rid of Nick Lachey and especially his wife, Vanessa.
- 23:54Speaker 1: We don't want to see them do the reunion anymore.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Why don't you pick the most successful couple who we
- 24:02Speaker 1: love from, I believe, the first season, Lauren and Cameron.
- 24:06Speaker 1: He was kind of the redhead guy. She's a pretty
- 24:09Speaker 1: black girl and we did love their love and they
- 24:11Speaker 1: are still together. But unfortunately, as of today, recording this,
- 24:16Speaker 1: they have secured their job. And I said this before.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I do think running a reunion and stuff, you kind
- 24:24Speaker 1: of want an experienced host. And I think the controversy, again,
- 24:32Speaker 1: is good. It's fine that she was rude. It makes
- 24:35Speaker 1: it good. keep being kind of a bitch, Vanessa, and
- 24:39Speaker 1: keep shocking your husband because he just kind of sat there.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I don't even remember him speaking once, but they get
- 24:44Speaker 1: to keep their job. While he goes to anger management
- 24:47Speaker 1: for getting furious at a paparazzi who took a picture
- 24:51Speaker 1: of them when they were like coming outside of Craig's
- 24:52Speaker 1: or something. It's very weird. And I think it's all
- 24:55Speaker 1: planned to be talked about on Juicy Scoop. Okay. Now
- 24:58Speaker 1: I want to talk about this girl, Hadley Gamble. Okay.
- 25:03Speaker 1: So This is a big, juicy scoop. Another person that
- 25:08Speaker 1: made a lot, another man that makes a lot of
- 25:10Speaker 1: money was fired this week. I mean, talk about the
- 25:12Speaker 1: unemployment line is going to be real long. Okay. So
- 25:16Speaker 1: there is this guy. He's a CEO of NBC, Jeff Schell.
- 25:20Speaker 1: He was in charge of everything, all these different departments.
- 25:24Speaker 1: And he was recently let go because he was sued for,
- 25:29Speaker 1: he was accused of sexual harassment, but he also admitted
- 25:32Speaker 1: to an inappropriate relationship. The inappropriate relationship is with this woman,
- 25:37Speaker 1: Hadley Gamble, who went, she admitted it to happening on
- 25:42Speaker 1: and off for 10 years. She was a reporter. She's
- 25:46Speaker 1: most famous for interviewing Putin. She was the last like
- 25:50Speaker 1: American journalist to interview Putin. And he was like taken
- 25:55Speaker 1: by her, you know, because she's like sexy with long
- 25:57Speaker 1: brown hair. And my juicy scooper said, I thought this
- 26:02Speaker 1: was Heather on the beach. Now she is wearing a
- 26:05Speaker 1: blue bikini, a turquoise, which is my favorite color bikini.
- 26:08Speaker 1: And she has big glasses on. So her face doesn't
- 26:10Speaker 1: really look like me, but it did. When I saw it,
- 26:13Speaker 1: it does seriously kind of look like me and my body.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Subscribe to my YouTube, everybody. Subscribe to my YouTube to
- 26:19Speaker 1: see all these great photos. I also want to say
- 26:22Speaker 1: a lot of people send me saying, I saw your doppelganger.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I saw your doppelganger. I guess I just think I'm
- 26:30Speaker 1: prettier than the rest of the world because I usually
- 26:33Speaker 1: don't really like it. But this one I like. This
- 26:35Speaker 1: one I'm totally okay with. And also this chick knows
- 26:39Speaker 1: how to date rich men. Okay. So not only did
- 26:43Speaker 1: she have an on and off relationship, which she admits
- 26:45Speaker 1: to and came forward. I don't know if she's saying
- 26:48Speaker 1: it because she's like, wait a minute. If you're paying
- 26:50Speaker 1: out people that he sexually harassed, I technically was an underling,
- 26:53Speaker 1: how I talk about that, when you have a romantic relationship,
- 26:57Speaker 1: even if it's somewhat consensual, if you're having it with
- 27:02Speaker 1: someone in a superior position than yourself, which would be
- 27:05Speaker 1: Jeff Schell, you can go forward and get an attorney
- 27:09Speaker 1: and say, I had to have this on and off
- 27:11Speaker 1: relationship all these years to keep my job. And they're
- 27:14Speaker 1: probably just going to pay you. So she's probably like,
- 27:16Speaker 1: you know what, let me get a payout. But in
- 27:18Speaker 1: the meantime, this Heather McDonald lookalike, Hadley, She was also
- 27:23Speaker 1: dating this guy, David Bonderman, who is a just sprung, young,
- 27:29Speaker 1: 80-year-old man. He is the TPG chairman and the billionaire
- 27:34Speaker 1: co-worker of the NHL Seattle Kraken. Okay. Anyway, their relationship
- 27:41Speaker 1: was added because the 80-year-old man listed her, the Heather
- 27:45Speaker 1: MacDonald lookalike, as a female companion when she flew on
- 27:49Speaker 1: his jet. He's also known to have several female companions,
- 27:53Speaker 1: that he showers with gifts. I thought it was going
- 27:55Speaker 1: to be he showers with them. And another top exec
- 27:59Speaker 1: complained about this as well, as he pays for most
- 28:02Speaker 1: of their living expenses. And he's known for this, which, again,
- 28:08Speaker 1: sounds nice. You listen to Marlo talk. She dated a
- 28:11Speaker 1: really rich man. She was on my show Tuesday, Marlo
- 28:14Speaker 1: from Atlanta. And you want to get the pink slip
- 28:18Speaker 1: and the title of the property. Pink slip, title. Pink
- 28:22Speaker 1: slip title. Think about that, girls. Not just a turquoise
- 28:27Speaker 1: bikini and being on a jet, okay? You know, flying
- 28:32Speaker 1: private is nice. You want to get more out of it.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So anyway, this guy, Jeff Schell, he resigned after the
- 28:39Speaker 1: sexual harassment being accused. And then he, of course, admitted
- 28:42Speaker 1: to having this affair with this woman. And there you go. So,
- 28:47Speaker 1: and she confirmed it, that she also was this woman involved.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So good luck with her. She might want to hang
- 28:52Speaker 1: out with like Lauren Sanchez or whatever. I think they
- 28:54Speaker 1: would have fun and just like go around with billionaires. Now,
- 28:58Speaker 1: this is some updates on some juicy crimes. Former Menudo
- 29:04Speaker 1: boy band member has claimed that he was drugged and
- 29:08Speaker 1: raped by the father of the Menendez brothers. To remind
- 29:12Speaker 1: you guys, the Menendez brothers is one of those cases
- 29:15Speaker 1: I've talked a lot about. These two brothers have been
- 29:19Speaker 1: convicted for killing their parents. shot them in their home,
- 29:24Speaker 1: then said they had originally said, oh, you know, people
- 29:27Speaker 1: came in and did it. They found out they bought
- 29:29Speaker 1: the guns. They were spending all this money going and
- 29:32Speaker 1: getting Rolexes and this and that. And then in their defense,
- 29:37Speaker 1: they came out and said, we were horribly molested by
- 29:41Speaker 1: our father for many, many years. And we felt our
- 29:45Speaker 1: lives were in danger, that he was going to kill
- 29:47Speaker 1: us that night. And so while he and my mom
- 29:50Speaker 1: were eating ice cream, we went in and shot them.
- 29:52Speaker 1: I have always said, I think Two things. Both things
- 29:56Speaker 1: can be true. I always believed that they were molested,
- 29:59Speaker 1: but I also believed that their lives at that time
- 30:03Speaker 1: were probably not in danger, but they were like, screw
- 30:06Speaker 1: this asshole. He's cutting us off and we're going to
- 30:09Speaker 1: get what's due to us. And they were awful parents
- 30:11Speaker 1: and we don't trust them. And that's what happened. I
- 30:13Speaker 1: think they planned it out, but I also believe they
- 30:16Speaker 1: were victims of sexual abuse. And now the reason this
- 30:20Speaker 1: is important is because her dad was in the music
- 30:22Speaker 1: industry and his dad was in charge of you know,
- 30:25Speaker 1: was with these Menudo brothers and what they, Menudo bands.
- 30:30Speaker 1: And what this was like was this was a boy band,
- 30:33Speaker 1: like an NSYNC that they kept replacing them. They were
- 30:37Speaker 1: very popular with American girls. I remember watching them. I
- 30:40Speaker 1: remember liking their music and I couldn't keep track of
- 30:42Speaker 1: them because once they would turn 16, they would get
- 30:45Speaker 1: rid of them and get another one. And then they
- 30:47Speaker 1: were surrounded by older Mexican music executives. And now this
- 30:52Speaker 1: guy who was one of them is saying, I was
- 30:56Speaker 1: raped by the Menendez father who the boys killed. Now,
- 31:01Speaker 1: they did an interview with, I believe, Eric saying that
- 31:04Speaker 1: this guy is coming forward. And he really did sound lovely.
- 31:08Speaker 1: He was like, wow, that is horrible. You know, of course,
- 31:13Speaker 1: I want this to be out. Of course, it helps
- 31:17Speaker 1: his story. But he's like, I would never want there
- 31:19Speaker 1: to be another victim. However, I do remember that boy
- 31:22Speaker 1: and I do remember my dad taking him away from
- 31:25Speaker 1: the rest of the group and going upstairs and saying,
- 31:28Speaker 1: I need to talk to him for a while, which
- 31:30Speaker 1: is exactly what this guy said. Now, I don't know.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I'm going to have my sister, Shannon McDonnell Goldstein. She's
- 31:37Speaker 1: kind of researching. why this would possibly give them another trial,
- 31:42Speaker 1: what was the instructions to the jury after they heard
- 31:45Speaker 1: the accusations of molestation during that trial. I don't remember.
- 31:49Speaker 1: It was over 30 years ago. The craziest story I
- 31:54Speaker 1: have about that is I went out on a date
- 31:57Speaker 1: with a guy who was in Jenny McCarthy's sitcom who
- 32:00Speaker 1: told me that he came out here from Chicago with
- 32:02Speaker 1: his girlfriend named Anna. And every day that he was
- 32:05Speaker 1: trying to get a job on a sitcom, She was
- 32:07Speaker 1: at home watching the Menendez trial. And then one day
- 32:10Speaker 1: he was home and the phone rang and it was Eric.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And Eric's like, put my girlfriend on the phone. It
- 32:17Speaker 1: was like, will you accept a call from the da-da-da-da?
- 32:20Speaker 1: And Eric, and she started a romance. Well, she thought
- 32:25Speaker 1: it was better. This is how sad it is to
- 32:27Speaker 1: be a struggling actor in LA. This girl would rather
- 32:31Speaker 1: date Eric Menendez, who was looking at life for killing
- 32:34Speaker 1: his dad and mother, than date a struggling actor, comedian,
- 32:40Speaker 1: who wants to get a job in a sitcom. She
- 32:44Speaker 1: then went on to break up with the guy and
- 32:46Speaker 1: marry Eric. And then Eric and her, they couldn't have
- 32:50Speaker 1: conjugal visits because that was not allowed in his sentence.
- 32:54Speaker 1: She stayed with him for years only to find out
- 32:57Speaker 1: that he cheated on her. Yes, he started to have
- 32:59Speaker 1: a romantic, emotional relationship writing and visiting with another woman.
- 33:06Speaker 1: So she had to divorce him. She thought that was
- 33:09Speaker 1: a better bet than dating an L.A. actor, just saying. Also,
- 33:16Speaker 1: Elizabeth Holmes from One Drop. This one drop will save
- 33:21Speaker 1: you and your uncle from ever dying. Okay, she got
- 33:25Speaker 1: 11 years and she's actually going to prison. And she's
- 33:28Speaker 1: going to go, I think, in May. And they are
- 33:32Speaker 1: suggesting that she go to the same prison, Bryan Ranch Prison.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Is it a ranch? Does it say Brian Ranch or
- 33:39Speaker 1: just Brian? Oh, I'm making it sound better. Anyway, Jen
- 33:43Speaker 1: Shaw's there waiting for her if she goes there. She
- 33:48Speaker 1: just had her second child who's only two months old.
- 33:51Speaker 1: She has another two-year-old and she is going to have
- 33:55Speaker 1: to do those 11 years. And she's currently living with
- 33:59Speaker 1: her husband. She married someone who has a ton of money.
- 34:01Speaker 1: They live in a $ 134 million mansion compound in Silicon Valley.
- 34:11Speaker 1: So money can't buy you class or freedom sometimes. because
- 34:16Speaker 1: she's going to prison. And the last juicy crowd I
- 34:19Speaker 1: want to talk about is the latest on the Idaho murders.
- 34:25Speaker 1: The defense for Brian, who's been accused of killing the
- 34:28Speaker 1: four students, wants one of the two roommates to testify,
- 34:34Speaker 1: the one that we really haven't heard from. There's Dylan
- 34:37Speaker 1: and And then there's this other woman named Bethany Funk, F-U-N-K-E.
- 34:44Speaker 1: We never really heard from her. She was the one
- 34:46Speaker 1: that did not see him. It was Dylan who saw
- 34:49Speaker 1: him go by. And my understanding is she just thought
- 34:52Speaker 1: he was, you know, as a party house, some random
- 34:54Speaker 1: guy that came by. He was wearing a mask. We
- 34:57Speaker 1: don't think he ever saw her, hence why she lived.
- 35:00Speaker 1: The other girl, we don't know what she knows. Obviously,
- 35:04Speaker 1: they want to hear from her. from what I've heard
- 35:06Speaker 1: from my personal source, which I've shared for me from
- 35:09Speaker 1: the way from the beginning, this girl is completely traumatized.
- 35:13Speaker 1: It's very, in a very bad state. And obviously she
- 35:16Speaker 1: does not want to testify, but the defense wants her
- 35:19Speaker 1: to testify in hoping that somehow they'll be able to
- 35:23Speaker 1: cut some holes in her story or whatever. It's ridiculous.
- 35:26Speaker 1: He is facing the death penalty. Um, and whatever is
- 35:29Speaker 1: best for this girl, I hope it prevails for her
- 35:33Speaker 1: mental health. Um, We also know that Lori Vallow is
- 35:38Speaker 1: on trial. I just did Juicy Crimes on that. You
- 35:41Speaker 1: can go to heathermcdonald.net to join my Patreon. Every Friday
- 35:45Speaker 1: is a new juicy episode. And with everything I talk
- 35:49Speaker 1: about that I can't talk about here, it's the juiciest stuff.
- 35:53Speaker 1: But also I do Juicy Crimes on there as well,
- 35:56Speaker 1: greater detail. We just did one on the Lori Vallow case.
- 35:58Speaker 1: She is the worst mom in America. And they just
- 36:00Speaker 1: revealed People Magazine. Very, very graphic of how they believe
- 36:06Speaker 1: that JJ, her adopted autistic son, was found. And it just,
- 36:13Speaker 1: I can't even say it here. I'll say it on Patreon.
- 36:14Speaker 1: But it's absolutely horrible. And it sounds like they just,
- 36:19Speaker 1: you know, duct taped him through them. away, like just
- 36:23Speaker 1: really awful. So that's all coming out now. And you guys,
- 36:27Speaker 1: and just like that, season two is coming in June.

- 36:34Speaker 1: I'm going to hate watch it more than I did
- 36:36Speaker 1: last season. Sadly in the trailer, Steve is not featured,
- 36:40Speaker 1: but don't you worry because Chris Vangelo will be with

- 37:31Speaker 1: this woman, Ramona Singer. The crazy eyes, the stinger, the
- 37:35Speaker 1: everything about her. And she did not disappoint, asked all
- 37:39Speaker 1: of your questions and she answered them all in her
- 37:42Speaker 1: raw Ramona way. So get ready to laugh and be like, yep,
- 37:47Speaker 1: that's Ramona. Here we go. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 37:52Speaker 1: I have the one housewife that I've been trying to
- 37:55Speaker 1: get on the show, I think the longest of anyone.
- 37:58Speaker 1: It is my, she is my favorite person to impersonate.
- 38:01Speaker 1: It's Ramona, stinger, singer herself. Welcome to Juicy Scoop, Ramona.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Well, you know what? I know you've been wanting me on.
- 38:10Speaker 2: I was a little nervous because, you know, you call
- 38:12Speaker 2: me the stinger. I'm really not a stinger. I really
- 38:13Speaker 2: have a warm, generous, giving heart. But, you know, they
- 38:16Speaker 2: only show that stinger side of me, which really is
- 38:19Speaker 2: not there.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I just need the truth.
- 38:21Speaker 2: It's unfiltered truth, unedited truth, and people can't handle it.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Okay, so I've always found that to be really fun.
- 38:29Speaker 1: and a great thing to watch. But however, let's just
- 38:33Speaker 1: start off with that. Your reputation to people who watch
- 38:36Speaker 1: the show and to some people who've met you in
- 38:38Speaker 1: person is that you are very blunt, unfiltered, and sometimes,
- 38:44Speaker 1: not my word, but a little rude. And I also
- 38:48Speaker 1: heard you don't really like when people approach you in
- 38:51Speaker 1: a setting that you aren't set to do. It's one
- 38:53Speaker 1: thing to be doing a meet and greet. It's another
- 38:56Speaker 1: to be in a booth on a date with someone
- 38:58Speaker 1: you like. And, and a lot of housewives will, will,
- 39:03Speaker 1: will literally go out to dinner just to be approached
- 39:06Speaker 1: by fans. That's their favorite part about going out. And if,
- 39:10Speaker 1: and if that's not yours, I think that is okay. Like,
- 39:13Speaker 1: I think that's okay. And I would like to have
- 39:15Speaker 1: the fans here from you so that if they do
- 39:18Speaker 1: ever meet you in person, they won't be at all.
- 39:21Speaker 1: It's okay.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Um, just leave it.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Okay. But if they ever do approach you and, you know,
- 39:30Speaker 1: so let's just a little bit explain the criticism you've got.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Let me set the record straight.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Okay. Heather.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Okay.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Yes, please.
- 39:36Speaker 2: So basically when a fan comes over to me in
- 39:39Speaker 2: a very unobtrusive way and they say, you know, Ramona,
- 39:41Speaker 2: I really like you on TV. My mother watches you
- 39:44Speaker 2: all the time. I share it with her. And you're just,
- 39:46Speaker 2: you know, such, such a great person on TV. And
- 39:49Speaker 2: I enjoyed it. Say hello to me first. I'm like,
- 39:51Speaker 2: can I have a photo?
- 39:52Speaker 1: Can I have a photo?
- 39:53Speaker 2: With someone so aggressive like that, what's my dander up?
- 39:56Speaker 2: And I go back, you know, everything is approach. Now
- 40:00Speaker 2: I know I don't have the best approach. So who
- 40:01Speaker 2: am I to talk? But I am talking. It's all
- 40:04Speaker 2: about the approach. I mean, a lot of people, they
- 40:06Speaker 2: look for fans. I mean, I know girls, I'm not
- 40:08Speaker 2: gonna mention names. They actually call the press whenever they
- 40:11Speaker 2: go somewhere. I don't do that. I love living my
- 40:13Speaker 2: life separately. And I do enjoy my fans. I mean,
- 40:16Speaker 2: I do, but At the right place, right time, and
- 40:19Speaker 2: if they approached me correctly.
- 40:21Speaker 1: I think that's completely fair. But I think the truth
- 40:24Speaker 1: is that in the business you are in, Real Housewives,
- 40:27Speaker 1: like you said, many Real Housewives, that's the entire reason
- 40:30Speaker 1: why they made the reservation is to be approached by
- 40:33Speaker 1: as many fans as possible. And so then when they
- 40:36Speaker 1: go to you, they expect to get the same. So
- 40:38Speaker 1: I think that makes a lot of sense. Now, I'm
- 40:41Speaker 1: very good friends with Jill Zarin, and I know Jill's
- 40:44Speaker 1: story about how the show came about, how it was
- 40:47Speaker 1: going to be Manhattan Moms. How did you how were
- 40:50Speaker 1: you approached about it? And had you watched Real Housewives
- 40:55Speaker 1: of O.C. or I think Atlanta was the second one, right? No,
- 41:00Speaker 1: you guys, you.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Were the second. We were the second. It's a boat
- 41:04Speaker 2: of contention with Vicki and I that we put Housewives
- 41:07Speaker 2: on the map because no one knew about Orange County.
- 41:10Speaker 2: As soon as we came out, we were within one week.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Wall Street Journal, Daily News, The Post, The New Yorker.
- 41:17Speaker 2: You named the publication. We were in it so much
- 41:20Speaker 2: so that the headmaster called me into Avery's private school saying,
- 41:24Speaker 2: we had Nikki Hilton here and we didn't get this
- 41:27Speaker 2: much press when she was here. This is not acceptable
- 41:29Speaker 2: in our private school. Oh yeah, I was in hot water.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I want to speak about the private school real quick.
- 41:34Speaker 1: So it was a Catholic private school, correct?
- 41:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:38Speaker 2: So actually it's a very, it's one of the seven
- 41:40Speaker 2: sister schools. It's a top, top school, all girls school
- 41:43Speaker 2: in Manhattan called Sacred Heart.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I can relate. I went to an all girl Catholic
- 41:47Speaker 1: high school as well and sent my daughter to the same.
- 41:50Speaker 2: But she left.
- 41:50Speaker 1: She transferred.
- 41:51Speaker 2: She transferred for high school.
- 41:53Speaker 1: So now what I recall from that, we're getting to
- 41:57Speaker 1: that story is, was, is it true? that that is
- 42:02Speaker 1: why you walked off the reunion because Alex did some
- 42:07Speaker 1: nudity for a magazine or something and it did get
- 42:11Speaker 1: back to the school and it caused problems for you
- 42:14Speaker 1: and Avery.
- 42:15Speaker 2: No, what happened was that the school said, we'll let
- 42:18Speaker 2: you continue to do the show. Avery can do the show,
- 42:22Speaker 2: but not as someone who's a spokesperson for interviews. I'd
- 42:25Speaker 2: have to improve whenever she was on the show like
- 42:28Speaker 2: redecorating her room or whatever and because they had the
- 42:32Speaker 2: option to throw her out of school you know it's
- 42:34Speaker 2: a private school and they could just say we don't
- 42:35Speaker 2: like your hair color today you're out so she loved
- 42:38Speaker 2: her school we loved her school so I had to
- 42:40Speaker 2: abide by the rules and um I was shocked when
- 42:45Speaker 2: Bravo wanted to bring up the uh nudity in the
- 42:48Speaker 2: article on the reunion because usually a reunion in my
- 42:52Speaker 2: book would be about what's shown on tv now they
- 42:55Speaker 2: wanted to bring out what wasn't even shown on TV.
- 42:59Speaker 2: And I just didn't want to be associated with that
- 43:01Speaker 2: because I was afraid my daughter would get kicked out
- 43:02Speaker 2: of school.
- 43:04Speaker 1: So that's why you walked off. Okay, good. Now getting
- 43:06Speaker 1: back to my first question, how did you, how did
- 43:10Speaker 1: they first find you? What did you first hear about it?
- 43:12Speaker 1: And what were your thoughts about going forward on this,
- 43:15Speaker 1: this doing a reality show in your life? How much
- 43:18Speaker 1: reality TV had you even watched?
- 43:20Speaker 2: Nothing really. Oh, the only reality TV I watched as
- 43:23Speaker 2: a friend of hers was Lisa Gastineau. Her show was funny.
- 43:27Speaker 2: And because of her show, that's how the Kardashians got
- 43:31Speaker 2: on because the mother was so intrigued about the fame
- 43:33Speaker 2: and how she got on E! that she pursued it
- 43:36Speaker 2: exactly the way Lisa did. Lisa gave her basically the
- 43:38Speaker 2: tools of how to do it.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Right.
- 43:41Speaker 2: So anyway, basically what happened was they wanted to find me.
- 43:46Speaker 2: I think actually Jill didn't want them to find me
- 43:47Speaker 2: because Jill was there. They were actually interviewing this girl, Regina.
- 43:52Speaker 2: And we had a cooking party with like 20 of
- 43:54Speaker 2: my girlfriends. And Jill was there and Regina were there taping.
- 43:57Speaker 2: I thought they were taping for a cooking show for
- 43:59Speaker 2: my girlfriend. So, of course, me, I speak up. I'm
- 44:02Speaker 2: always making comments. You know, I'm just this personality is
- 44:06Speaker 2: inappropriate at times and just being me. So I remember
- 44:08Speaker 2: the producers told me later, they said, how can we
- 44:11Speaker 2: find this girl? How can we find this girl? Well,
- 44:13Speaker 2: Jill knew who I was. They probably asked Jill, but
- 44:15Speaker 2: she didn't say anything. She didn't want me on the show.
- 44:17Speaker 2: So now I'm in the middle of the summer. I'm
- 44:20Speaker 2: working up with my company. It's slow time. And my
- 44:22Speaker 2: good girlfriend, Dr. Sharon Giese, she's a top plastic surgeon.
- 44:25Speaker 2: She has all my injectables. And she said, Ramona, I
- 44:29Speaker 2: just got this strange phone call. They're asking if I
- 44:32Speaker 2: have any patients or if I know anyone who's upscale, married,
- 44:36Speaker 2: very social, has a career, has children. The only one
- 44:40Speaker 2: I can come up with is you. And they're doing
- 44:42Speaker 2: a show called Manhattan Moms. Are you interested? Well, I
- 44:44Speaker 2: was bored. My daughter said she wanted to be an actor.
- 44:47Speaker 2: So I go, oh, let's just do it for the
- 44:48Speaker 2: fun of it. So that's what happened. And later on,
- 44:52Speaker 2: they said, wow, we were looking for you. And I
- 44:54Speaker 2: remember I was playing tennis with Jill. And I'm talking
- 44:58Speaker 2: about this reality show. She's talking about the reality show.
- 45:01Speaker 2: And I said, yeah, this show that I want to do,
- 45:03Speaker 2: I'm thinking of doing, I'm not sure. I told them
- 45:06Speaker 2: I can't even begin to consider it unless they send
- 45:08Speaker 2: me the demo tape because I spent four hours filming
- 45:10Speaker 2: me into a two-minute tape. We figured out it was
- 45:12Speaker 2: the same show. She said, you're so smart. I want
- 45:15Speaker 2: a demo tape. I need one too. I'm going to
- 45:17Speaker 2: ask her. I go, go ahead. So I started negotiating.
- 45:21Speaker 2: I started negotiating for 7,500 an episode because I backed
- 45:25Speaker 2: out all those dimwit girls. They were so desperate to
- 45:28Speaker 2: do TV. They agreed to 7,500 for all six episodes.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Um, yeah.
- 45:33Speaker 2: So that's the history.
- 45:35Speaker 1: And I, so wait, what did you get? Did you
- 45:37Speaker 1: get your 7,500 per episode?
- 45:39Speaker 2: No, we did. Cause I, well, I wasn't smart enough
- 45:41Speaker 2: then because there, because I, the woman's just said, Oh,
- 45:44Speaker 2: you take it or leave it. And at this point,
- 45:46Speaker 2: I mean, you know, getting, you know, 50,000 or 7,500
- 45:51Speaker 2: was going to change my life, but what changed my life,
- 45:53Speaker 2: which gave me seven figures in business was true faith jewelry.
- 45:56Speaker 2: That's the reason why I did the show because it
- 45:58Speaker 2: basically blew up the business. So that was great. And, um,
- 46:02Speaker 2: And I was smart enough to put everything in RMS
- 46:04Speaker 2: fashions because when I signed the contract, I mean, I
- 46:06Speaker 2: know Bethany was talking about the Bethany clause, but I
- 46:08Speaker 2: already knew just to put everything in RMS fashions because
- 46:11Speaker 2: it could not touch any existing business. So any business
- 46:14Speaker 2: I do goes under my corporate name, which is already mine,
- 46:17Speaker 2: so they can't tap into it.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Oh, well, that's news that we didn't know because I
- 46:22Speaker 1: was going to ask you about the Bethany clause.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I didn't need it because I already had
- 46:26Speaker 2: everything into my corporation that was already existing.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Now, I want to just clarify a little bit about
- 46:30Speaker 1: your life before Housewives. You, um, you got married a
- 46:35Speaker 1: little in like your late thirties, right?
- 46:38Speaker 2: 37 and I got, um, had my daughter at 39.
- 46:41Speaker 2: I mean, dating was never my problem. I, and I
- 46:43Speaker 2: just realized finally, oh my gosh, you know, I mean,
- 46:45Speaker 2: I always made money. I could always buy my own
- 46:47Speaker 2: fur coats, my own diamonds, take myself on vacation. I
- 46:49Speaker 2: was self-made.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I mean, because you created the, the, the wholesale apparel business, right?
- 46:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:54Speaker 2: I mean, I had seven figures in the bank saved
- 46:57Speaker 2: when my ex-husband married me. He was like shocked. I
- 46:59Speaker 2: didn't tell him, but he found out later because I
- 47:01Speaker 2: bought all the properties with that money.
- 47:04Speaker 1: And was, and then did you and Mario create the
- 47:07Speaker 1: true faith together? How did that jewelry? Okay.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Well, because I mean, I really, people don't really, they
- 47:12Speaker 2: don't showcase it. They pigeonhole all of us. And I
- 47:14Speaker 2: love Bravo. Bravo's been very good to me. And, but
- 47:17Speaker 2: they like to pigeonhole everyone in certain type of identity.
- 47:20Speaker 2: They never showed my real entrepreneur side. So basically I
- 47:25Speaker 2: opened up my business. I was 30 years old. It
- 47:27Speaker 2: was a multimillion dollar business. I was making a ton
- 47:29Speaker 2: of money doing it. And I'd buy and resell clothes out.
- 47:33Speaker 2: to TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross stores. It was fabulous.
- 47:38Speaker 1: And then when did that business end?
- 47:41Speaker 2: Once what happened was four years into doing this show,
- 47:45Speaker 2: all of a sudden I realized that it's a full-time job.
- 47:49Speaker 2: I was like originally the woman who filmed the least
- 47:53Speaker 2: and was on the show as much or the most,
- 47:55Speaker 2: just like in college at FIT. I went to school
- 47:57Speaker 2: the least and I got the best grades because I
- 47:59Speaker 2: was busy working at Macy's and doing this and that.
- 48:02Speaker 2: And I just, I made a conscious decision because then
- 48:05Speaker 2: I was on HSN and I was making, oh no,
- 48:09Speaker 2: I'd saved seven figures and I was making six figures
- 48:11Speaker 2: with the Pinot Grigio and the HSN. I got that.
- 48:13Speaker 2: I was the first housewife to go on HSN. First season,
- 48:16Speaker 2: I just cold call. I mean, I believe in cold calling.
- 48:18Speaker 2: You want some, you pick up that phone, you go
- 48:20Speaker 2: right to the top. That's how you get somewhere. Don't
- 48:22Speaker 2: sit back and wait. So I had, I was the
- 48:24Speaker 2: first housewife to have HSN jewelry. I was selling like
- 48:27Speaker 2: a million dollars a year of jewelry. Um, no, so
- 48:29Speaker 2: it was great. I mean, it was very good to me, Bravo,
- 48:31Speaker 2: but they didn't show all my entrepreneurial size, like what
- 48:34Speaker 2: I can, what I do for business. You know, they
- 48:36Speaker 2: wanted me to be the zany girl with the crazy eyes,
- 48:38Speaker 2: which fine, got viewers in. So my real friends know
- 48:41Speaker 2: who I am.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Speaking of the crazy eyes, the crazy eyes really got
- 48:45Speaker 1: featured when you did the fashion show. Now, what were
- 48:49Speaker 1: you thinking? Were you just nervous, hoping not to trip? Like,
- 48:52Speaker 1: why did you look like a deer in headlights?
- 48:55Speaker 2: Yes, a deer in headlights because the lights, the cameras,
- 48:58Speaker 2: There were so many, because it's a fashion show and
- 49:00Speaker 2: you have all the photographers flashing and all the lights.
- 49:03Speaker 2: I was like, I was like, I was like freaked out.
- 49:07Speaker 2: It was like freaky. I mean, it's really, I said,
- 49:08Speaker 2: I'd rather be a businesswoman than a model. I think
- 49:10Speaker 2: being a model is a really tough job.
- 49:12Speaker 1: So speaking of all the businesses, throughout the years, obviously
- 49:17Speaker 1: we had the Bethany, you know, skinny margaritas and, and
- 49:20Speaker 1: everything else that she pushed from her jeans to her
- 49:22Speaker 1: bologna to her, you know, croutons.
- 49:25Speaker 2: Chocolates and yeah.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:27Speaker 2: She's good. You know, put enough, throw enough stuff on
- 49:29Speaker 2: the wall, something will stick. So I actually admire her
- 49:31Speaker 2: for that.
- 49:32Speaker 1: So then throughout the years, we saw other businesses that
- 49:35Speaker 1: you did that you and the other women launched. The
- 49:38Speaker 1: Pinot Grigio. Where is the Pinot Grigio today?
- 49:41Speaker 2: It did really well. I sold like 10,000 cases, which
- 49:45Speaker 2: is like a huge amount in a year and a half,
- 49:48Speaker 2: two years. But it was too much work. I mean,
- 49:50Speaker 2: I realized all of a sudden that's when my marriage,
- 49:52Speaker 2: I think, started to fall apart. I was becoming hustling
- 49:55Speaker 2: too much. And it just it was just too much
- 49:57Speaker 2: for me. I had the business, my own business. I
- 50:01Speaker 2: had the HSN where I go four times a year
- 50:03Speaker 2: for three days. I had a pinot grigio. They had
- 50:06Speaker 2: me wanting to do 30 appearances all over the country.
- 50:09Speaker 2: I was on a plane constantly. So I got sick.
- 50:11Speaker 2: I got really sick. I had terrible vertigo, which you
- 50:14Speaker 2: can sometimes, and a very bad tetanus, like a ringing
- 50:17Speaker 2: of the ears, which sometimes people have for the rest
- 50:18Speaker 2: of their lives. So it was a wake-up call to
- 50:20Speaker 2: slow down and just stop with all this work.
- 50:24Speaker 1: So with that, we saw other people that were obviously
- 50:28Speaker 1: creating parties around something that they could launch. And one
- 50:33Speaker 1: of the... One of the things I remember is when
- 50:36Speaker 1: Jill was a spokesperson for Kodak Camera and Film and
- 50:40Speaker 1: you in your very unfiltered way, which would be fine
- 50:44Speaker 1: if it wasn't being filmed, you said, who's going to
- 50:48Speaker 1: buy it? regular, you know, everything is digital. Why is
- 50:53Speaker 1: someone buying film? And that did result in this deal
- 50:58Speaker 1: not going, you know, to longevity. Do you ever regret
- 51:02Speaker 1: doing that? Did you ever think about the, I know
- 51:05Speaker 1: people always say they forget the cameras are there, but
- 51:07Speaker 1: what is your opinion of that particular scene?
- 51:09Speaker 2: Well, first of all, I do forget the cameras are
- 51:11Speaker 2: there because I grew up in a very abusive family
- 51:13Speaker 2: and I had to block everything out. That's why TV gold.
- 51:17Speaker 2: I don't even know the cameras are there. I mean,
- 51:18Speaker 2: we had certain women on the show. I can't think
- 51:21Speaker 2: of her name right now. She was a really tall woman.
- 51:23Speaker 2: She got divorced from a really short guy.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I forgot her name too, but she, she had jokes
- 51:27Speaker 1: where my, my dad was Jewish and my mom was Asian.
- 51:31Speaker 4: Right.
- 51:31Speaker 1: I forgot her name too.
- 51:32Speaker 2: She was in person in person. She was a spitfire.
- 51:35Speaker 2: She had personality plus funny, witty. I recommended her highly.
- 51:40Speaker 2: I was friendly with her. As soon as the cameras
- 51:42Speaker 2: were on, she froze like a deer in hell. Like
- 51:43Speaker 2: she just was quiet. She even went on Andy's show.
- 51:46Speaker 2: He's like, she doesn't even talk. She couldn't even talk.
- 51:49Speaker 2: So I'm just a natural. So yeah. So, and I'm
- 51:51Speaker 2: a business woman. I'm like, well, why would you pick
- 51:53Speaker 2: this company? They're antiquated. They're going to go out of business.
- 51:56Speaker 2: And why? And they did go out of business. I mean,
- 51:59Speaker 2: I'm a business woman first. So I was speaking from
- 52:01Speaker 2: a business point of view. Now I had no idea
- 52:03Speaker 2: that would ruin her thing. I mean, it was up
- 52:05Speaker 2: to her to defend it. And just because I said
- 52:07Speaker 2: that shouldn't ruin her deal. I mean, she should still
- 52:09Speaker 2: make it happen. I mean, everyone's allowed to be, have
- 52:11Speaker 2: a negative points of view. I'm allowed to have a viewpoint.
- 52:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:14Speaker 1: You know what's kind of the interesting story about it
- 52:16Speaker 1: is that Jill, that wasn't even part of her deal.
- 52:19Speaker 1: They didn't even ask to have it be filmed on camera.
- 52:22Speaker 1: She just was like being nice. She was like, oh,
- 52:25Speaker 1: and you know what? We can feature it and have
- 52:27Speaker 1: a party on the show. And she was so mad
- 52:29Speaker 1: at herself because she was like, God, why did I
- 52:32Speaker 1: give the extra? It wasn't even necessary. You know, like
- 52:35Speaker 1: they weren't even asking. Yeah.
- 52:38Speaker 2: And wait, and I'm going to interrupt you. I'm sorry.
- 52:39Speaker 2: But another reason why I did it, this is why
- 52:41Speaker 2: I'm good TV. No, our show isn't scripted, but if
- 52:43Speaker 2: I'm going to do a show or anything, I want
- 52:45Speaker 2: to be the best I can be. Now, if I
- 52:47Speaker 2: just go there and say, oh, this is nice. Isn't
- 52:49Speaker 2: it sweet? There'd be no, our show is about drama.
- 52:52Speaker 2: It's about conflict and resolution. And I definitely know how
- 52:54Speaker 2: to start conflict and I definitely do resolution. Remember, I'm
- 52:57Speaker 2: the apologizer.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Okay, let's, speaking of some classic situations that happened on
- 53:07Speaker 1: the show, And now you are divorced. Now, when you
- 53:10Speaker 1: guys went to Morocco, you went to the psychic.
- 53:14Speaker 4: Right.
- 53:14Speaker 1: And the psychic said, there is another woman and she's blonde.
- 53:18Speaker 1: And you, thinking your marriage was great, you said, oh, well,
- 53:22Speaker 1: that's my little mini me. That's blonde Avery. In retrospect,
- 53:28Speaker 1: I don't know how you care about psychics or what,
- 53:30Speaker 1: but what do you think of that scene now? Or
- 53:32Speaker 1: did it ever come up during?
- 53:34Speaker 2: No, because it was season four. And he had the
- 53:37Speaker 2: affair season seven. And I was divorced by season eight.
- 53:43Speaker 2: And he basically had a midlife crisis. Our marriage was
- 53:45Speaker 2: perfectly fine season four or five and whatever. He had
- 53:48Speaker 2: a midlife crisis, which a lot of men have. And
- 53:50Speaker 2: they just have a whole identity thing. He had a
- 53:52Speaker 2: little later in life. I mean, when my therapist told me,
- 53:54Speaker 2: your ex-husband, my then husband is having a midlife crisis,
- 53:57Speaker 2: I started laughing. Just don't laugh. This is a serious thing.
- 54:00Speaker 2: This is really an actual thing that happens to men.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Do you think part of it happened because- You were
- 54:07Speaker 1: so busy and in the limelight. And even though your
- 54:09Speaker 1: husband was great on TV, came off great, very good looking.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Do you think that contributed to him stepping outside of
- 54:18Speaker 1: the marriage to get his own ego inflated by someone
- 54:24Speaker 1: else other than you?
- 54:24Speaker 2: Yeah, no, absolutely. Probably. But he admitted to me recently
- 54:28Speaker 2: or not that long ago, he apologized profusely. And he said,
- 54:30Speaker 2: I'm so sorry how I handled everything. I did it
- 54:32Speaker 2: in the wrong way. And he said, I felt emasculated.
- 54:35Speaker 2: He said, but you didn't make me feel that way.
- 54:37Speaker 2: I made myself feel that way. Now we're great friends.
- 54:39Speaker 2: I mean, he invited me to his 70th birthday party.
- 54:43Speaker 2: He came here for Easter with my daughter. I mean,
- 54:44Speaker 2: we're very friendly now. I mean, I love him as
- 54:46Speaker 2: a person, but I'm not in love with him.
- 54:49Speaker 1: So when you guys spent COVID together with Avery, I really,
- 54:55Speaker 1: I'd said it on the show, I thought there was
- 54:57Speaker 1: a chance that you guys could reconcile. Was there any
- 55:03Speaker 1: time there was a... Him attempting it or you're thinking
- 55:06Speaker 1: about it?
- 55:08Speaker 2: You know, it's a very good question. A lot of
- 55:10Speaker 2: my girlfriends say, come on, come on. You two always
- 55:11Speaker 2: had this hot sexual relationship. You must have had, you know,
- 55:14Speaker 2: something with him. I go, no, I didn't. We never kissed.
- 55:16Speaker 2: We never touched. Nothing. But, you know, I remember one
- 55:19Speaker 2: time we went out. It was just him and I
- 55:20Speaker 2: without Avery. And he said, this is like a date,
- 55:22Speaker 2: isn't it? This is like a date. And I said, well, maybe.
- 55:25Speaker 2: But you know what? I just, I outgrew him. I mean,
- 55:28Speaker 2: I thought the same thing. If we were ever going
- 55:29Speaker 2: to get back together again, that would be the time.
- 55:32Speaker 2: But I just didn't have that passion for him. I
- 55:35Speaker 2: love him, but I wasn't in love. And I just,
- 55:37Speaker 2: we grew apart. I mean, I've just, he also, he
- 55:40Speaker 2: likes a different lifestyle. He likes to live in Boca
- 55:42Speaker 2: all the time. I still like to travel and do
- 55:44Speaker 2: a lot of things. And he's very content to go
- 55:47Speaker 2: into bed early. And it's not my lifestyle anymore. I
- 55:50Speaker 2: don't think it ever was. He just became very sedate
- 55:52Speaker 2: in his older years. And I still have a lot
- 55:54Speaker 2: of energy. I'm a spitfire.
- 55:56Speaker 1: You know, it's so interesting because with some of my
- 55:58Speaker 1: friends that did get divorced, like yourself later, like 20,
- 56:02Speaker 1: you know, almost 20 years in type of a thing.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Because the man had stepped out or done something bad
- 56:09Speaker 1: or whatever. You know, it's like even though your life
- 56:14Speaker 1: is better now, you're doing what you want. You're single.
- 56:18Speaker 1: You know, you would probably most likely never have left
- 56:24Speaker 1: him had he not stepped out on the marriage. Do
- 56:27Speaker 1: you believe that's true? And you'd be in Roka and
- 56:28Speaker 1: go to bed at nine.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Well, no, because I would, I always encouraged him to
- 56:32Speaker 2: go out and he, I would always liven him up.
- 56:34Speaker 2: I mean, I was big energy, good energy, positive energy
- 56:36Speaker 2: for him. And I think that's what attracted him to me.
- 56:38Speaker 2: And he kind of made me a little mellow. So no,
- 56:40Speaker 2: I think, you know, it would have been good. But
- 56:42Speaker 2: the thing is, you know, and I did, even though
- 56:44Speaker 2: we did step out, a lot of my friends are shocked.
- 56:46Speaker 2: I gave it a good year because I'm going to
- 56:48Speaker 2: give everyone advice out there. I don't care what kind
- 56:51Speaker 2: of relationship you're in and what happens, but don't leave
- 56:54Speaker 2: until you're absolutely sure because you don't want to have regrets.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Because nothing is worse than you leave a relationship and
- 56:59Speaker 2: you go, well, what if I stayed longer? Maybe it
- 57:01Speaker 2: would have been worked out. And that's in your head.
- 57:03Speaker 2: You put that bug in your head and you can't
- 57:04Speaker 2: get it out of it. And it's hard to continue
- 57:06Speaker 2: on with your life. So I knew I tried everything
- 57:08Speaker 2: I could to make it work. And then I just
- 57:10Speaker 2: realized this was it. I can't, you know, I can't
- 57:13Speaker 2: change him. He'll probably come around eventually, but I'm not waiting.
- 57:16Speaker 2: And he did come around eventually. And he did want to,
- 57:18Speaker 2: you know, get back together. I know he did. But
- 57:20Speaker 2: it just was just too late. Too little, too late.
- 57:22Speaker 2: And I just moved on emotionally, mentally.
- 57:26Speaker 1: When you were on that one girl's trip and it
- 57:28Speaker 1: was shortly after the breakup and you were really, you know,
- 57:32Speaker 1: in an emotional state crying with Bethany.
- 57:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that was terrible. I couldn't fix him. I
- 57:37Speaker 2: couldn't fix him. He was going through such a bad,
- 57:40Speaker 2: like depression and, and, and just, just, just everything, everything,
- 57:43Speaker 2: you know, his business was suffering. His ego is suffering.
- 57:45Speaker 2: You know, also I hang out with a very, you know,
- 57:48Speaker 2: a very affluent crowd. And it was, I always tell
- 57:51Speaker 2: my daughter, there's always someone wealthier than you. Okay. You
- 57:54Speaker 2: have to be happy within here. But my ex-husband wasn't
- 57:57Speaker 2: happy in here.
- 57:58Speaker 1: You know?
- 57:59Speaker 2: I was like, well, look at this one. Look what
- 58:00Speaker 2: they have. Look what they have. I go, who cares?
- 58:02Speaker 1: We're happy.
- 58:03Speaker 2: We got each other. You know, who cares about all
- 58:05Speaker 2: that money? It's not going to bring you happiness. But
- 58:07Speaker 2: it bothered him. It bothered him. So all these things
- 58:10Speaker 2: I couldn't change. Couldn't change the way he thinks. Couldn't
- 58:13Speaker 2: change his mental outlook.
- 58:16Speaker 1: So, you know, you had this heartfelt moment with Bethany
- 58:20Speaker 1: in which she, you know, from what we're seeing as viewers,
- 58:24Speaker 1: acted as a great girlfriend in that way.
- 58:26Speaker 2: No, Bethany can be a really great person. She really
- 58:28Speaker 2: can be.
- 58:29Speaker 1: How do you feel about the fact that, you know,
- 58:31Speaker 1: on the walk, the walk on the Brooklyn Bridge or whatever,
- 58:34Speaker 1: where you kind of predicted her life in the next
- 58:40Speaker 1: five years, where you said, you know what, you don't
- 58:43Speaker 1: have friends and you're going to get a guy. And
- 58:46Speaker 1: he's going to leave you too, or something like that,
- 58:48Speaker 1: which was mean. But at the same time, again, you
- 58:52Speaker 1: thought it, you predicted it, you said it, it hurt
- 58:55Speaker 1: her feelings. But in the end, you were kind of right.
- 58:57Speaker 1: How do you feel about those moments when you look
- 59:00Speaker 1: back on the show?
- 59:01Speaker 2: Well, also what they did, they edited out that she
- 59:03Speaker 2: was like taunting me. She's like, you know, your husband,
- 59:06Speaker 2: you know, don't think he's so great. I see him
- 59:08Speaker 2: checking out people's asses and this and that.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I go, well, good.
- 59:10Speaker 2: It means he has a libido. Let him check people's
- 59:13Speaker 2: butts out. I don't care as long as he's faithful
- 59:15Speaker 2: to me. So then, you know, that's when I kind of,
- 59:17Speaker 2: she kind of was sticking to me. So then I
- 59:20Speaker 2: turned around like, well, what do you have? You know,
- 59:22Speaker 2: look at what you do. You push everybody away. You're
- 59:24Speaker 2: probably going to end up alone because you push everyone away. And,
- 59:27Speaker 2: you know, it wasn't probably, you know, I've learned now,
- 59:29Speaker 2: by watching myself and I've grown that just because someone
- 59:34Speaker 2: is like feeding you something and pushing your buttons doesn't
- 59:36Speaker 2: mean you should retaliate and push their buttons. But again,
- 59:39Speaker 2: it was great TV.
- 59:41Speaker 1: So another great moment was when Bethany was on one
- 59:45Speaker 1: of the reunions and Annie was asking about her comment
- 59:50Speaker 1: about Dorinda and John. And when she said to John,
- 59:53Speaker 1: you did a couple of rails, you did a couple
- 59:55Speaker 1: of rails, you know, of cocaine. And then she was like,
- 59:58Speaker 1: I don't do cocaine. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: And Sonia was like, yeah, you do. And then Luann
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: was like, maybe we should stop talking about that. I
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: just saw that clip on TikTok. Like there were some
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: really crazy moments back in the day. I mean, in
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: the vintage years of Housewives, what was going through your
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: mind during that situation?
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: I don't think, you know, whether someone does drugs or not,
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: I just think that's that even I wouldn't like touch
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: that subject.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: I just don't think, I think it's a tricky subject. Um,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: and I just don't think it should be mentioned or
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: touched at all. And yet I do touch on everything,
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: but I believe that no one should touch that and
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: bring that up without anyone, whether.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: It's true or not. And you were quiet during that exchange. Um, Now,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: where do you stand with Bethany now? Are you at
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: all friendly or in touch?
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: No, no, we're friendly. I mean, I actually admire what
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: she's doing. I get a kick out of it. I mean,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: I don't know how she has the time. I mean,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: whenever I do my Instagram, I just see her constantly
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: commenting about the makeup and this and that. I actually
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: went to the dollar store, bought some of those sponges
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: for a dollar, you know? I got some of those things, yeah.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: So where do you stand with Dorinda today? Are you
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: guys friendly?
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Actually, Actually, Dorinda and I are really good. What's really
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: interesting is, first of all, I hate texting because I
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: mess up on texting. And the language doesn't come through.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: You can't hear someone's inflection, their tones. I think texting
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: is only meant to say, let's meet here and let's
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: get together. And that's it. So basically, I found out
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: through someone that she was texting me and I never
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: got the text. So we just finally broke through that.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Like about six months ago, we had lunch and we're
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: great now. We're friends. We're great friends. We're going on
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: the show coming up soon in Texas during Mother's Day.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: We were doing Austin and Houston and Dallas. Me, Luann,
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: and Sonia. I mean, not Sonia. Me, Luann, and Dorinda.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: And the three of us together are unbelievable. In fact,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: my daughter saw it in Chicago because she's living there.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: And I said, Mom, how many times have you practiced?
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Do you have a script? I go, no, this is
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: all natural. Wow, you guys are good. And she goes, Mom,
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: these fans are really obsessed with you. I never saw
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: fans like this. And they're all so normal looking.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: That's great.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Now we'll, now with the ending of Real Housewives of
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: New York, what was your thought? And then when they
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: picked the new cast and then you're waiting for the
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: legacy and then you weren't part of the legacy, then
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: the legacy fell apart. Fill us in on all of
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: that was going, how was that? How was the information
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: coming to you and how are you processing it?
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: You know, I think things happen for a reason in
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: life and I really truly believe that. So for me,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Though I think it was great for me personally that
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: the show wasn't renewed because I'm living my best life.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: I mean, I really am. I'm so much calmer. I'm happier.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: I'm glowing. Everyone says how great I look. And for me,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: it was a godsend. I think God has always, I mean,
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: I believe in a stronger force. So many fortunate things
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: have happened to me. Yes, I do work hard, but
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: I'm definitely blessed in life. But was I upset that
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: they fired everybody? Yeah, because I started that show 16
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: years ago, for goodness sakes. I started the show when
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: my daughter was 11 years old. She's turning 28. So
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: I actually started 17 years ago and I helped build
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: what it is. I mean, we all became iconic. So yeah,
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: if you don't want to renew me or Dorinda or
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: me and Sonia or me and Luann or whoever, fine,
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: but keep it going. So that part really upset me
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: because it was a part of me, you know, and
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: that upset me. And the whole legacy thing, I wasn't
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: thrilled about the whole legacy thing, but you know, listen, Bravo.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Why didn't they ask you to do the legacy?
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: I didn't really want to do the legacy because again,
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: you know, I'm actively dating now and men don't want
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: me on TV. The fact that I'm not on the
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: show now is a blessing. I'm getting much better quality dates.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: I'm actually, I'm not stressed out. You know, the show
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: causes a lot of stress. You know, you don't, I mean,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: you know, people, I'm pickable. People know that if they
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: pick on me, they'll get more screen time and I'm
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: so pickable, I react. So I'm the perfect target. I'm
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: the perfect target, you know? Go for me, gun for me,
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: which they always do. And which is fine, it's my job. But,
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: you know, but being in the press and it was
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: stressful and that's why I look, you know, so much better.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: I mean, all my friends were just like, what are
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: you doing? I go, I've done nothing, nothing, this is me.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I do. I always think that's true too,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: because especially when you've done a show like that for
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: so long, you know, had it just renewed for the
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: next season with all your girls that you're close to,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: it would take a lot for you to say, no,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: I won't do it. But once the decision is sort
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: of made for you, you know, God's rejection is life's protection.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Whatever you want to say, it is meant to be.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: It's meant to be that way. And I mean, hopefully
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: we'll see. It still would be fun to have you
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: go back on a girl's trip or whatever, or maybe
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: there'll be a new version of that to bring back
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: you know, some of the great girls, but at the
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: same time, I am happy for you to like move on.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: And I am doing different things. That's one of the
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: reasons why I'm doing the podcast with Avery, Turtle Time
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: with Ramona and Avery, because this is, the fans can
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: see different sides of me. It's not just one-sided and
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: it's unedited because, you know, no one's editing it out
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: to make me look a certain way. This is the
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: true me. And it's a way of me connecting with
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: my fans. So I think it's a really wonderful, it's
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: something to do with my daughter. And we have this
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: very close, unusual bond. And there's not many podcasts out
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: there that have mother-daughter relationship podcasts. So I'm thrilled.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I think it's great too. A question, did you ever
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: want to have more than one child?
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: No, because you can't do it all. I mean, I
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: had a very good relationship with my husband at the time.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: a really healthy one. I have great friends. I keep
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: getting more and more friends and I'm very social and
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: I was managing two homes and a business. And if
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: I had a second child, I'm that person. I'm very
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: competitive with myself and I want to do it all.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: And I couldn't, you know, what if I had a boy,
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: what would happen? My then husband would be doing things
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: with the son and I'd be doing things with the girl. And,
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: you know, I'd be taking her to battle. I'd be
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: taking the baseball games and I, you know, I research everything.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: And people tell me they start drifting apart, the family,
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: because the father goes with the boy, the mother goes
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: with the girl. And then the other thing that happens
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: is I have these lunches, these very beautiful high-end lunches
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: at these major states in the Hamptons. And I'd be
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: speaking to the CEO and CFO of all these banks
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: and companies. And I go, so what's it like having
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: two children? They go, oh my God, it's so much work. Well,
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: they have like tons of staff and they're saying it's
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: so much work. And I say to mothers, what's it
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: like having two? Well, I'm glad I have her, but
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: two is not like double the work, it's four times
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: the work. And they fight. 75% of the time they
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: don't start. And I found out they don't get along
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: until they're in their twenties and they go to college.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: So I didn't need another child for my ego. And
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: I also researched, you don't have a second child for
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: your child. You do it for you. And Amy was
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: dying to have a sibling, but she got the dog instead. Coco.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I think what you just said is so interesting. I've
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: never heard it described that way. And I think it's,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: it's just a really valuable advice and information for anyone
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: who's thinking about it is, is everything you should consider,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: you know, just like someone else would say, yes, but
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I had to, because I mean, one of the reasons
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I had to is because I was like, well, when
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: they get older, at least they could call each other
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: and say, can we just talk about how fricking weird
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: mom is? Like I wouldn't like them to have someone
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: to talk about me with. So I see, I see
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: it for all, but I do think there's so many
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: benefits to just having one.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: For me, it was for me. And also to travel,
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: it's so easy to travel with one and you get
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: invited everywhere. I mean, I don't think I would be
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: invited on my girlfriend's yacht or their villa with two
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: or three children with one child. Easy breezing. Not that
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: that's a reason to have only one, but I'm.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Just saying other advantages. It's so true. When I, um, I,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I don't mean to brag, but I used to be
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: invited to Kris Jenner's Christmas party for many, many years.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: And then they kind of had a, they called it,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: it was a bloodbath. They cut a lot of people out.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: I was with wonderful people that they cut out to
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: no longer invite. Mostly because the girls now had their
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: own children and now they had their mommy friends. And
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I said, and listen, I'm six people deep. Christmas Eve
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: at Kris Jenner's back in the day, I got to
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: bring all three of my kids, my husband and my mother-in-law.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: that's yeah, but that's a lot of people. Like I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: totally agree with the fact that, yeah. And I have
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: one friend who has one son and I have two
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: and the boys would be like destructive to people that
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: weren't used to seeing boys that at that age. And yeah,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: my friend with the one boy, she did get invited
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: to more stuff. It's totally true. Right. So true. Um,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: one thing, was there anything that you ever did on camera?
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Because you and Avery are so close. You have a
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: great relationship. I love it. that she was embarrassed by
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: or said oh my god mom I wish you hadn't
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: had done that.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Well I think it was first season we were going
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: out to a party and I had some Dolce &
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Gabbana outfit and it was like a bustier top it
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: almost looked like a lingerie top and I was going
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: to wear it out she goes you can't wear that
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: you can't go out in that No way, mom. Like
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: she's my mother, right?
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: So I hid the top. It wore a different top.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: And in the car, I changed it. And then I
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: think she saw it on TV. She got really mad.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Oh, my God. You know, that's what people used to
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: do when they were teenagers. My sister used to put
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: her slutty outfit in a brown paper bag and throw
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: it outside the window and then pick it up. And
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: you were doing.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: My daughter, now she's not like that, but she was
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: so conservative when she was 12, 11 years old.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: That's so funny. That's a very common thing. With mothers
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: and daughters where sometimes the roles reverse for a little bit. Now,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: what about the sexy scene with you and Mario, where
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: you had like a red lingerie, you went to like
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: a hotel room or maybe it was.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: In your bedroom. She said that was cringeworthy. Yeah, that was,
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: she said it was cringeworthy.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: That was up there with Tamara and Eddie in the bathtub.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: You know, there was a few housewives. Now, how does
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: that happen? Does the producers kind of make you do that?
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: That cannot have been, let's do this.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, we got set up in
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: a gorgeous suite and it was really romantic. And, you know,
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: it was a little awkward, but, you know, they said, well,
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: you know, I mean, they just go, why don't you just,
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: you know, I don't know. I mean, sometimes they suggest things.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: I mean, I listen, one thing with Bravo, if you're
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: not comfortable with something, you don't have to do it.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: So that's, that's really important. So obviously my ex and
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: I felt comfortable enough to do it, but it was
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: cringeworthy for my daughter to watch. And some of the
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: viewers were cringing too, but you know what? Hey, make
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: good TV.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: I have another question. Did you really actually think you
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: might be pregnant when your, when your period was late?
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: Well, yeah, but then, but then it really, it just, well,
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: I don't know. Can I just plead the fifth?
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Okay, fine. Okay. Let me see here. Oh, how's everything
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: with Sonia going with you, you and Sonia?
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: You know, Sonia, she becomes, I would call it Miss
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: far away. She, when we don't, when we're not filming,
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: no one hears from her. It's like a joke. It's like, Luann,
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: I'll say, did you hear from her?
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: No.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: Did you hear from her?
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: No.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: I texted her two months ago. I saw it. No,
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: she just, she just goes remote.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: And she's doing shows. Yeah.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: I think she's doing like burlesque shows, right?
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Yeah. No, it's not burlesque show. She's doing, well, she
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: said it was a standup show, but from what I heard,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: it's just her answering questions. And what I've, what people
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: have said to me, I am not an eyewitness, but it's,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: it's very much. I think she, you know, is, is
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: having some cocktails in the green room before.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: I had people DM me about that too, but, um,
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: you know, Sonia, Sonia, she's a big girl and she
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: has to figure out her own life. Right.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: But what I kind of think is when this has
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: been your life for so long, and this is what
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: we love to see is Sonia. It's funny when she's drunk,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: it's a lot to watch. Sometimes it's too much, but
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: it's still entertaining to watch. And then she goes and
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: decides to do a live show and she's never done
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: a live show. I mean, I'm a stand-up comedian. I've
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: had two stand-up specials. You know, there's a lot more
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: to doing it than just going out there and saying
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: one-liners like you do when you're filming a cocktail party
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: for Housewives. To entertain for an hour and a half
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: is a totally different thing. So I can see how
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: it could have happened based on how she's been, the
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: reception she got prior to doing it. I think she
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: probably thought this was going to be Easier to pull
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: off than it is, in my opinion, from what.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: I haven't seen a show. So I have no clue.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: I can't comment.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Wish her the best. OK, let me see. Oh, OK.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I have some questions about episodes. One thing I really
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: related to you on if I was single was I
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: can't remember what vacation was, but it was Carol. It
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: was Bethany, I think.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: Turks and Caicos, the conch bowl, the conch shack or
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: the cock shack.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: How did you know I was going to say that?
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: They said I was a cock blocker. It was called
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: the conch, C-O-N-C-H. His name is John. I saw him
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: again recently. Yeah, he's a nice guy.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Okay. So you guys go out to this restaurant and
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: I just related to you. Like you're single. He is cute.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: He's straight. He owns a restaurant.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: He owns a lot. He's very successful.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Yeah. So this is a potential for you. And why
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: do you have to hang out with your friends you've
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: been hanging out with all day and night? It's time
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: to meet some guys.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you. Exactly. And they got all angry
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: at me.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Yes, I do feel like you're the target. And that's
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: why I sometimes say I do relate to you because
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I do feel like sometimes I've been the target with
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: my friend group where they're like, oh, she flipped her
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: hair in our face and she's trying to talk to
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: a guy. Yeah, I'm trying to talk to a guy.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: What the hell are we doing here?
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: Well, let's call a spade a spade. They were engrossed
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: in conversation with him. I came and he just totally
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: turned to me and focused on me. He basically dumped
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: them and went for me. So it's not my fault.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Not my problem.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: What do you think is the worst casting? The biggest mistake?
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I'll say that just wasn't a fit. We're not going
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: to criticize the girl. We're not going to criticize Bravo. Well,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: what do you think was.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: The worst fit? Krista Taichman.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Okay. And why do you think that?
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: She just, she was just very vanilla. And then who's
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: the other girl? I think she, she didn't even, she,
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: she came on, but she was like some, she was
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: like a caterer or something.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: A waxer?
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: No.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: You mean Barbara? Not Barbara. No.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: She came on for a flip second, but she, they
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: brought her on as a housewife, but she never really
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: made it. I don't remember what season it was. She
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: was really not good. She's a nice girl. And she
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: did corporate events. Corporate events.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: So when all of a sudden it's time to start filming. Oh,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: So wait, this is the season. Because Bravo made the
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: decision to get rid of three girls. They got rid
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: of Alex and Jill. And the third was maybe Kelly.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: I don't remember who the third was.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Yes, I think it was. Yeah.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: So they brought in three people. It was season, I guess, eight.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: And they brought in three people or seven. I forgot
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: which one. And it was Carol, Heather. And was it
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: Aviva too or no?
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Maybe Aviva.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it was. So basically they didn't have,
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: they were nice girls, but we needed someone with more
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: spitfire like me and none of them had it. So
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: when we went to Montana and all during the season,
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: the production would say, Ramona, we need something.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I go, what do you mean?
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: They go, well, we have nothing. So figure it out
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: and do something. So I act kind of manic that season.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: And I was acting out because they had nothing. There
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: was nothing organically happening. And that was like a horrible
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: season for me.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I do think it's a real, I think, listen, I've
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: been watching shows.
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: And I'll never do that again. So now, if and when,
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: and they don't really do, but if and when it reduces, well, no, Ramona,
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: I think you should say this or do this. You know,
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: and they don't make you, they just suggest. But now
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: I just go, doesn't it feel organic? I'm not doing it.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: But before, when they would say, do something, I would
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: really come up with something that looked stupid, didn't even
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: make sense. And then I became like the bad girl.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I've interviewed a lot of housewives. Obviously,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I've watched every episode that's ever been produced. And I
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: do see that. And I do see when you are
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: a company girl and a people pleaser and a hard
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: worker and a producer you like, it's like this whole
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: vacation has been a waste because literally nothing has happened.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: You know, can you say something or what about the
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: fact that they said this rude thing about your husband yesterday?
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Can you bring that up? I can see why then
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: you do. But then no, it was worse.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: It was worse. This one woman producer, she she were
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: familiar at least listing and she would cry. She's all
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: you girls. You make me I can't handle this. And
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: she just had no clue what to do.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: And then she just the producer was crying. Yeah.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: I can't stand how you girls are mean to each other.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: It makes me upset. I think I talk about this
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: on my podcast.
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Yeah. That, that is funny. Okay. Okay. How about dating
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: the same guy? What is it? Speaking of Aviva, what
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: is it about Harry Dubin?
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Well, I never dated Harry. We're just good friends. And
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: of course, one time he got, his tongue got caught
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: down my throat.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Got caught?
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, got caught. Got caught. Like a, track. But no, well, Harry,
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: first of all, Harry's a gentleman. He's a type of
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: person that he always stands when you come into a room,
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: he'll help you with a chair. He stands when you
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: sit down, always, I mean, I get you a drink.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: He's very personable and very charming and very lovely, very
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: well educated. And he's a classy man. So I mean,
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: my daughter adores him. My daughter's friends adore him. Sometimes
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: I'll go out with me, my daughter, three of her
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: girlfriends will like hang out and go bar hopping together.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: He'll take me and my daughter out for dinner and
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: her friends. I mean, He's a very giving, wonderful man.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: I mean, I adore him. I mean, he's never been
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: my lover. I'll never have him as a boyfriend, but
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: I love him as a friend. He'll be my friend
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: for life.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Okay, that's good. Now, what about how Luann and Sonya
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: both slept with the pirate? Well, I don't know if.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: That's factual or not, but, you know, well, I think
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: they've had a little history doing that, but you have
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: to ask them more.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Well, right, with Tom.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: With a lot of guys. I think with a lot
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: of guys.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: How did you feel about Tom and Luann? Did you
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: have your reservations about them being a couple? Marrying.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: Well, Tom and I went on one or two dates.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: I did it for practice. Nothing happened between us. But
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: to me, if a man is 50 plus, he's never
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: been married, never has... had children. There's something wrong. He's
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: not going to really want a permanent relationship. That was
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: my feeling. So I felt nervous for Luann because I
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: really have developed a friendship with her and a genuine
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: caring for her. And I just knew it was going
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: to end up like a train wreck. And it did, unfortunately,
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: for her.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Um, yeah, I agree. But you know what?
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: But she, she so wanted to be in love. And
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: I understand that we, as women, we like being in love.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: And she was, I think she was just more into
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: being in love than being in love with the right person.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: She just loved the idea of being in love.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Did you go to the wedding?
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: No.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: What did, what was your reaction when Aviva threw her leg?
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Well, you know what? Oh God. So this is a
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: behind the story. She wanted to throw it so far
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: out that it couldn't be retrieved, and she wanted Harry
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: to pick her up and carry her out, but he refused.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: That was her plan?
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: But he said, no, I'm not doing that, Aviva.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Harry Doob and her ex, you mean?
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: Yeah, they're friends.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Oh, my God, that is hilarious.
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: She wanted to be carried out with just one leg.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: He said, no, Aviva, I'm not doing that. Can you imagine?
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: We were all so shocked.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I mean, it's one of the greatest seeds. You guys,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Ramona and I talked for, I don't know, another 25,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: 30 minutes, and she got into it all. Why she
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: didn't go to Teresa's wedding. All about her bowel renewal.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: She also talks about the reunion that made her go
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: home and want to quit and what it took her
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: to go back. So juicy and fun, along with her
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: tips about fitness, plastic surgery, everything else. And where are
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: you going to hear that? On my Patreon. Every Friday,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: there are new episodes. You go to heathermcdonald.net. You're going
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: to hear that along with my thoughts about the week.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: The juiciest stuff that I don't, cannot tell on the
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Tuesday and Thursday show. It's all there on Patreon. You
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: go to heathermcdonald.net. And now for just a little bit
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: more with Ramona, so you know what she's up to. Well,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: this has been amazing. And tell everybody about the podcast.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: And I love Avery's idea, not idea, but her company,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: because I know that bachelorette parties have become such a
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: destination thing. You're gathering girls from multiple parts of the
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: world for three days. It's expensive. And she is there
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: to make it less stressful, less time consuming as far
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: as planning it. She's got all the connections. She really does.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I think it's a brilliant idea.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: It really is.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I'm really happy for her.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: Well, you know, I think I'm so happy. I believe
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: I taught her well. You know, all you moms and
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: dads out there, to your children, speak to them about
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: what you do in business because they're like civs. They
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: take it in. And I always told her the service
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: business is the best business because there's really no much
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: capital needed and it's low overhead. And she was planning
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: her bachelorette party for her girlfriend. And she realized how
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: much work it was because it is a work. You know,
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: it's like a three-day excursion and they want things nonstop
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: set up. So she said to herself, I can make
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: this a business and there's not much competition out there
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: and she's going to do it great. I mean, she's
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: killing it. She's doing really well. In fact, she's going
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: to be doing one of ABC, one of the, I
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: forgot his name, one of the bachelor parties, the bachelor
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: from the bachelor. She's doing his bachelor party.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Oh, that's great. So how do they follow her business?
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: No.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: No, I'm telling you, how do people find her business? Oh, okay.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: I'm going to say, cause she was aggressive. She DM'd
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: him to get the business.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: So her website is BACHBOSS.com. And then on Instagram, I
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: believe it is BACH underscore BOSS. But you can find
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: it on her Instagram under her website, BACHBOSS.com.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: And then you and Avery have your podcast together, Turtle
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Time with Ramona and Avery.
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: I know. It's going to be so fun because Avery
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: sometimes acts like the mom and I'm the daughter. So
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: I think people get a kick out of my dynamics
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: with her. And my daughter puts me in my place.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: So I think people can get a big kick out
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: of that. So please follow us, Turtle Time, on whatever
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: podcast you watch. Give us a great rating and review.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: So whether it's on Apple or Spotify or wherever you
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: watch it. And I think It's going to be on
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: every Wednesday. It drops every Wednesday and it's going to
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: be very entertaining. And the first few episodes will be
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: inside Bravo information, you know, behind the scenes information. And
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: it's something I can do with my daughter and it's
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: very exciting and still connect with my fans too. And,
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: you know, fans can write in questions and it's going
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: to be great. I'm really looking, I'm excited about it.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: I really am.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I think you guys are gonna have a lot of fun.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: You know, I, Yeah. I love a mother daughter. I
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: love that you guys work together. I love that Jill
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: and Allie work together. I think it's so smart and it's,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: it's so great that you guys, you know, we first
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: saw your daughters so young.
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: 11 years old. I think I was 13.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Yeah. And that you, everyone's doing so well. So thank you, Ramona.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: This was really fun and, and it was just wonderful.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: So thank you so much. This is great.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: You know what? This was, Wonderful. I wish I had
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: done this sooner.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Oh, I appreciate it.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: No, you're very easy to talk to. So thank you.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Thank you. Okay, you guys, you know what to do.
