- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Hay Friday, friends, thank you so much for starting it
- 0:05Speaker 2: with us. We made it. Let's go. Ricky Sanchez has
- 0:08Speaker 2: those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 1: As of today, there are still people in Nashville without power.
- 0:13Speaker 1: They have been working on it very hard. Anys tally
- 0:17Speaker 1: that I just checked is over six hundred customers without power,
- 0:22Speaker 1: so they're getting there. There are some people who still
- 0:24Speaker 1: will not have power until the ninth of February, so
- 0:28Speaker 1: they still have a few more days. But please keep
- 0:30Speaker 1: checking up on your neighbors who don't have power. Please
- 0:34Speaker 1: follow at one oh seven five the River on Instagram.
- 0:36Speaker 1: We are very diligent about posting as many things as
- 0:39Speaker 1: we possibly can of places where you can get free
- 0:41Speaker 1: food if you don't have power, places where you can
- 0:44Speaker 1: go for warming stations, shelters, all of those things. It's
- 0:48Speaker 1: still really cold, so you want to stay warm, use
- 0:52Speaker 1: the services that you have available to you, because it's
- 0:54Speaker 1: important that you take care of yourself. Mariah Carey will
- 0:58Speaker 1: perform at the Olympics opening ceremony. It starts tonight. Tonight
- 1:02Speaker 1: is the opening ceremony. Not only is Mariah care going
- 1:06Speaker 1: to perform, but there's also going to be something happening
- 1:09Speaker 1: for the very first time tonight, two Olympic cauldrons will
- 1:12Speaker 1: be lit simultaneously in Milan and Courtina, which is supposed
- 1:17Speaker 1: to be a tribute to Leonardo da Vinci. But this
- 1:20Speaker 1: is the first time that there will be two. Typically
- 1:22Speaker 1: there are not two in different places that are being
- 1:25Speaker 1: lit at the same time. So that's pretty cool too.
- 1:28Speaker 1: So you could watch the opening ceremony tonight and Chipotle
- 1:32Speaker 1: is handing out a million dollars worth of free entres
- 1:35Speaker 1: during the Super Bowl. So you just need to watch
- 1:38Speaker 1: Instagram after the halftime and before the third quarter because
- 1:42Speaker 1: that's when Chipotle is gonna post an Instagram reel called
- 1:45Speaker 1: the Chipotle Realist thirty. So in the video, there's gonna
- 1:48Speaker 1: be a text acclaimed code and the first one hundred
- 1:51Speaker 1: thousand people to text the code to eight eight eight
- 1:54Speaker 1: to two two is gonna get a free entrie. It's
- 1:56Speaker 1: gonna be valid until February twelfth. So deaf, make sure
- 2:00Speaker 1: that you're watching Chipotle, make sure that you try and
- 2:02Speaker 1: get in as quick as you can, because who doesn't
- 2:05Speaker 1: love a freebie?
- 2:05Speaker 2: Right Chipotle? Man? I love Chipotle.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I always say if it's free, it's for me. I'm Sanchez,
- 2:10Speaker 1: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Ricky. Something else that's free. These
- 2:15Speaker 2: Charlie Pooth tickets that we've had all week for the
- 2:17Speaker 2: first caller of the day. We've got them again today.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Start your Friday with a wind within ten minutes for
- 2:23Speaker 2: your chance to get her. Here's Beaver on the river.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 2:28Speaker 1: On It's Tricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on
- 2:31Speaker 1: one O seven five the River. It is also finally
- 2:34Speaker 1: Friday feels good. We got our friends Sylvia and Smyrna
- 2:38Speaker 1: on the line. Good morning, Sylvia, Hi, how you doing
- 2:41Speaker 1: this morning? Are you excited for the weekend? Very much so,
- 2:44Speaker 1: very needed Syvia.
- 2:46Speaker 2: You sound sleepy. You sound like you're still under the
- 2:47Speaker 2: covers or something.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Oh not at all.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I'm on my way to work. Okay, good wake up.
- 2:53Speaker 4: I wish I would.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Was it tough for you to get out of the
- 2:56Speaker 1: covers this morning, because it was tough for me. I
- 2:58Speaker 1: was almost late. It's cold. I can't handle this like
- 3:04Speaker 1: back and forth. We get one day of kind of
- 3:06Speaker 1: warm and then it's cold. But yeah, it's just more
- 3:09Speaker 1: of a reason to stay in bed. Since we're talking
- 3:11Speaker 1: about this, Sylvia, I have a question for you, because
- 3:13Speaker 1: we talked about this on the air the other day.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Do you think it's acceptable to cancel plans because it's
- 3:18Speaker 1: cold outside? Absolutely, there's no reason, like you don't.
- 3:24Speaker 5: You don't have to have an excuse to cancel planned.
- 3:26Speaker 1: That's actually so solid.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I mean yeah, I.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Like the honesty. I like the honesty, and I would
- 3:40Speaker 1: rather you just tell me that you don't want to
- 3:41Speaker 1: come than make up some random excuse. You know, Kevin
- 3:44Speaker 1: has his classic excuse, which is my kids. I got
- 3:47Speaker 1: to stay home with the kids.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Why I had kids?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Hey, that's a perfect every time. Sylvia, you are the
- 3:57Speaker 1: first caller of the day this morning. I'm very excited
- 4:00Speaker 1: for you. You're getting tickets to see Charlie Pooth. Thank you,
- 4:04Speaker 1: You're welcome. Congratulations.
- 4:06Speaker 2: What a great way to start my right, Yeah, for sure.
- 4:09Speaker 2: The show is June ninth to send Ampitheater. The tickets
- 4:11Speaker 2: are yours. But if you decide not to go at
- 4:12Speaker 2: the last minute, whatever, it's just don't worry about it.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yolo yolo on.
- 4:17Speaker 5: The Kids right, Yes, you have it on.
- 4:18Speaker 2: My Kids seven five. Every Friday we run down, you know,
- 4:23Speaker 2: a list of events, cool things happening in and around town.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Zach normally does that. He is out today, So Ricky's
- 4:28Speaker 2: got you. If you're looking for something to do this weekend.
- 4:30Speaker 2: What's going on, Ricky?
- 4:31Speaker 1: The Olympics opening ceremony is happening tonight and there is
- 4:35Speaker 1: a watch party happening at Chapstick if you want to
- 4:37Speaker 1: go hang out with a bunch of people and watch
- 4:39Speaker 1: it together. Starts at seven pm. I would suggest getting
- 4:42Speaker 1: there early so you can get yourself a nice spot
- 4:44Speaker 1: so you can feel cozy and comfy. I'm always that
- 4:47Speaker 1: kind of person. If I'm going out for something big
- 4:49Speaker 1: like this, I'm like, I gotta go early to get
- 4:52Speaker 1: my spot. You know, I want the pick of the litter.
- 4:54Speaker 2: That's interesting because I've never known you to get anywhere early.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But I'll take your word only.
- 4:57Speaker 1: When it comes to this National ice Cream for Breakfast
- 5:01Speaker 1: Day is happening tomorrow and to celebrate, I feel like
- 5:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna butcher this guys, And I'm so sorry for
- 5:07Speaker 1: everybody in Smyrna who goes to this ice cream shop
- 5:09Speaker 1: and is gonna probably get upset with me. But Janardes
- 5:12Speaker 1: ice Cream Shop Uh, Jannartes and gluten Free Goose are
- 5:16Speaker 1: teaming up for a fun celebration, so it's gonna kick
- 5:18Speaker 1: off at eight am. Pajamas are encouraged, lots of fun treats,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and the first twenty people in line are gonna get
- 5:24Speaker 1: exclusive merch. I am a big fan of gluten Free Goose.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm gluten free and they have the most phenomenal desserts.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Best bakery in town if you're gluten free, So if
- 5:32Speaker 1: you're gonna be around, go check that out. Fun thing
- 5:34Speaker 1: to do with the family if you're in the mood
- 5:36Speaker 1: to party, though, Federal Is is doing in a prey
- 5:40Speaker 1: ski themed party tomorrow from one to four at their
- 5:43Speaker 1: location in the Gulch. It's ten dollars to get in.
- 5:46Speaker 1: There's gonna be a DJ, shot skis and an ice luge. Obviously,
- 5:50Speaker 1: this totally goes hand in hand with the Winter Olympics
- 5:52Speaker 1: and it makes sense. So that's for the people who
- 5:54Speaker 1: want to party tomorrow. UH six p one five Indie
- 5:57Speaker 1: Live is happening tomorrow as well, so there's gonna be
- 5:59Speaker 1: a bunch of local bands and artists playing across the
- 6:02Speaker 1: Nashville's music venues, including spots like The End, Dark Matter,
- 6:06Speaker 1: the five Spot, and more so. The full schedule and
- 6:10Speaker 1: tickets are found at six one five Indie dot Live.
- 6:13Speaker 1: You can get your tickets. I believe they're only twenty
- 6:15Speaker 1: dollars and you can bounce around, go to different places,
- 6:18Speaker 1: check out some bands. Support the local places here in
- 6:21Speaker 1: Nashville that really need it right now too, So that's
- 6:24Speaker 1: super cool. And on Sunday, the Music City Puppy Bowl
- 6:28Speaker 1: is happening at the Nashville Zoo, so adoptable puppies from
- 6:31Speaker 1: the Nashville Humane are all going to be on the
- 6:34Speaker 1: field for their big game. Whether you're looking to adopt
- 6:37Speaker 1: or not, this is a cute event. Take your family.
- 6:39Speaker 1: It comes with the admission to the Zoo. It's happening
- 6:42Speaker 1: from ten am to two pm, which I love.
- 6:44Speaker 2: That's so cool. How much money would you pay to go,
- 6:46Speaker 2: like lay on the field and let the puppies.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Jump out, Kevin, I want to say, probably, like an
- 6:51Speaker 1: astronomical amount of money, a stupid amount of money. And
- 6:54Speaker 1: of course the Super Bowl is this Sunday where the
- 6:58Speaker 1: Seattle Seahawks are going to play against New England Patriots
- 7:00Speaker 1: at five thirty pm Our time. Halftime show is bad, Bunny,
- 7:05Speaker 1: It's Benito. I've beneatho. I'm so excited. There's gonna be
- 7:08Speaker 1: so many bars and restaurants across Nashville that are going
- 7:10Speaker 1: to be playing the game. So make sure that you
- 7:12Speaker 1: support local. Local needs our support right now, especially after
- 7:15Speaker 1: the storm that just came through. So if you have
- 7:18Speaker 1: a local bar that you see is gonna be playing
- 7:19Speaker 1: the game and you're like, you know what, I'm not
- 7:21Speaker 1: doing anything, might as well go support, Go do it.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Three things you need to know, Yes.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yes, yes, here we got just after seven o'clock on
- 7:27Speaker 2: this Friday morning, Happy Friday. Ricky's got those three things.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Taylor Swift's new music video for Opallite just came out.
- 7:35Speaker 1: She posted a countdown on her website to the official
- 7:38Speaker 1: opal Lite music video announcement when it would finally be here,
- 7:41Speaker 1: and it is finally here now. This is the second
- 7:43Speaker 1: visual that has been unveiled from her album The Life
- 7:46Speaker 1: of a Showgirl. The first video that we got was
- 7:48Speaker 1: for her lead single, The Fate of Ophelia. During Taylor
- 7:52Speaker 1: swift The official release party of a Showgirl in movie theaters,
- 7:55Speaker 1: they premiered that video for everybody, but all the other
- 7:59Speaker 1: songs had lyric videos attached to them, so this is
- 8:02Speaker 1: the first time that we're going to see the official
- 8:04Speaker 1: opal Lite music video. Obviously, I have to wait to
- 8:07Speaker 1: watch until I'm done with the three things you need
- 8:09Speaker 1: to know, but you can watch it now at Taylorswift
- 8:12Speaker 1: dot com. I'll be a little sad if you don't
- 8:14Speaker 1: wait until I'm done with everything else I have to say.
- 8:16Speaker 1: But right now I know I see Kevin not paying
- 8:20Speaker 1: attention to me. That's why I brought it up. Lawmakers
- 8:23Speaker 1: are pushing to increase minimum wage to twenty dollars here
- 8:27Speaker 1: in Tennessee. This bill was introduced back in twenty twenty
- 8:29Speaker 1: five and it's now going to be discussed during this
- 8:32Speaker 1: year's legislative session. To give you some perspective, the current
- 8:35Speaker 1: minimum wage here in Tennessee is seven to twenty five,
- 8:38Speaker 1: so this would be a massive boost. We're gonna see
- 8:40Speaker 1: where this goes, and as always, I will keep you
- 8:42Speaker 1: updated on that. Consumer Reports has just released their picks
- 8:46Speaker 1: for the best cars of the year across multiple categories.
- 8:49Speaker 1: The Honda Civic has won for best small Car, Toyota
- 8:53Speaker 1: Camera one for best mid sized Car, Best small pickup Truck,
- 8:57Speaker 1: goes to Ford Maverick. This year's best subco impact suv
- 9:01Speaker 1: is the super Cross Track uh super Forrester one for
- 9:06Speaker 1: best compact suv, and the best electric vehicle is a
- 9:09Speaker 1: Tesla Model. Why. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
- 9:12Speaker 1: three things you need to know. I went through really
- 9:13Speaker 1: fast because I want to watch this video.
- 9:14Speaker 2: That was very fast. That was record time, Ricky, thank
- 9:17Speaker 2: you for that. I was just watching a little bit
- 9:18Speaker 2: of the video. It's got like eighties vibes in the
- 9:21Speaker 2: set in the mall. It's really cool. You're gonna tell me.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna watch myself.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I apologize. Let's play the song. Let's play Opal Eye.
- 9:27Speaker 2: The video is out now, Ricky's gonna go watch it.
- 9:29Speaker 2: It's Taylor. We do have a fact for you, Zax
- 9:32Speaker 2: Facts presented by Wa Kevin Mano. Next on the River.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Class is in Sessions Zax Fact on one River.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Okay, So super Bowl sixty is happening this weekend. Sixty
- 9:44Speaker 2: is stylized as l X in Roman numeral secrecy that
- 9:47Speaker 2: all over the place. Uh, they always use Roman numerals
- 9:50Speaker 2: in the Super Bowl logo, except for Super Bowl fifty.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Ten years ago. The NFL thought super Bowl L would
- 9:56Speaker 2: look a little weird. They honestly spent years working on
- 10:00Speaker 2: a logo leading up to it. They went through seventy
- 10:02Speaker 2: three versions of it wow, and they decided that, yeah,
- 10:05Speaker 2: that ELLE just looks stupid, so they went with the
- 10:07Speaker 2: number fifty. Super Bowl fifty.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Well L, especially when you're talking about sports, is a loss.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Yeah, super Bowl EL.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So it's kind of like bad juju already that you're
- 10:16Speaker 1: giving it.
- 10:17Speaker 2: You wouldn't want to tune in for Super Bowl No, No.
- 10:19Speaker 1: You don't want to be part of a loss.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:21Speaker 2: No. So outside of that year, it's always Roman numerals.
- 10:24Speaker 2: And that's your fact of the day.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Thanks yep, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning
- 10:29Speaker 3: on the River?
- 10:31Speaker 2: Were you rooting for in the super Bowl this weekend?
- 10:34Speaker 2: It's one O seven to five the River. Super Bowl
- 10:36Speaker 2: sixty coming up on Sunday, And honestly, I feel like
- 10:40Speaker 2: the majority of the country just doesn't really care about
- 10:42Speaker 2: either of these teams.
- 10:43Speaker 1: That's not true, but like, if you don't have a
- 10:46Speaker 1: team in the Super Bowl, how do you choose which
- 10:48Speaker 1: one to root for? I know which one I'm rooting for,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and it was very specific for a reason.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I feel like you're you're not necessarily rooting for them,
- 10:55Speaker 2: you're rooting against their opponent. You don't know that, I
- 10:58Speaker 2: kind of do six one. I have seven three, seven
- 11:01Speaker 2: nine seven Patriots or Seahawks. Who are you rooting for?
- 11:05Speaker 2: And why? Why do you care about either of these teams?
- 11:09Speaker 3: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Mari and Murphy's Borough. Welcome to one oh seven five
- 11:16Speaker 1: the River. We're talking about the super Bowl. And if
- 11:19Speaker 1: you don't have a team to root for in the
- 11:21Speaker 1: Super Bowl, how you choose which one you're gonna go with?
- 11:24Speaker 1: So who are you rooting for this weekend?
- 11:27Speaker 5: So I'm definitely rooting for the Patriots. I've never liked
- 11:30Speaker 5: the Patriots because I was always like a against Tom Brady.
- 11:36Speaker 6: I thought that's a hard Triants fan.
- 11:38Speaker 5: But I really love Rabel and Rabel as a wonderful coach,
- 11:43Speaker 5: and so that's why I'm pulling for the Patriots. If
- 11:47Speaker 5: you don't know anything about these two teams, I don't
- 11:50Speaker 5: know too much about the Seahawks and I've never really
- 11:52Speaker 5: followed them. But the Patriots have done an amazing year
- 11:55Speaker 5: and turned their season around. So they last year, They're
- 11:58Speaker 5: like four and thirteen. So they have done a very
- 12:03Speaker 5: fantastic year and I'm I'm very excited and I want
- 12:05Speaker 5: to see all the way and.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Answer Laurie, this is impressive.
- 12:10Speaker 2: You're an ESPN analyst here. This is a really great.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Football I love that. I love that even though I
- 12:18Speaker 1: hate the Patriots and I'm not rooting for them, I
- 12:22Speaker 1: love that you are and that you are so well
- 12:24Speaker 1: versed and that you're really in this. I love that
- 12:26Speaker 1: so much.
- 12:27Speaker 5: I never thought I would ever go for the Patriots.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Weird night.
- 12:32Speaker 2: You have fun this weekend?
- 12:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:37Speaker 1: Bye?
- 12:39Speaker 2: That represents growth. You know, it's okay to change.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Good for Laurie, because I'm not growing at all. I
- 12:44Speaker 1: hate the Patriots.
- 12:45Speaker 2: You'll always hate the Patriots.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I'm a Jets fan.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, it's part.
- 12:48Speaker 1: It's ingrained in me to despise.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Them as a Bears fan. That's how I feel about
- 12:53Speaker 2: the package.
- 12:53Speaker 1: And I like Verbel a lot.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I don't know the Rooks on Seahawks this weekend.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm rooting for the Seahawks. Let's see Aiden in
- 13:01Speaker 1: spring Hill. Who are you rooting for this weekend?
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yeah? You gotta, you gotta root for the Patriots of Rabel.
- 13:07Speaker 2: There we go, same.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Reason that Laurie just give all right, I get it.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I like Rabel, I get it. I just hate the
- 13:12Speaker 1: freaking Patriots.
- 13:13Speaker 5: I am with you on that one. But a great
- 13:17Speaker 5: coach of the Titans.
- 13:18Speaker 1: A good guy, Uh agreed.
- 13:20Speaker 5: And I gotta I gotta let them get one.
- 13:22Speaker 2: So I mean across the board here, everybody hates the Patriots,
- 13:25Speaker 2: but love and so that's I guess that's what we're
- 13:28Speaker 2: going with. Okay, thank you, aiden appreciate it.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you guys so much.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Appreciate everything you do. Thank you have a great weekend.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Yeah you as well.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Thank you. Bye.
- 13:37Speaker 2: I didn't have any preference here this weekend at all.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I was gonna watch for bad Bunny.
- 13:41Speaker 1: To be honest with you, it's o bol in my household.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but now everybody's convinced me. Now I'm I'm a
- 13:46Speaker 2: Rabel guy.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Rabel's great. Like I said, I get it. I just
- 13:49Speaker 1: there's nothing that can ever change my mind about the Patriots,
- 13:52Speaker 1: no matter how good the coaches, no matter what happens,
- 13:56Speaker 1: I hate them. I will hate them forever if I
- 13:59Speaker 1: ever root for them. By Dad, we just own me.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the River.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Kevin is very, very sad because today's the last day
- 14:10Speaker 1: that we are playing Ghost Malone on one O seven
- 14:12Speaker 1: five the River for Kevin Manno's Game of the Day
- 14:15Speaker 1: presented by Genesis Diamonds for these Post Malone tickets at
- 14:18Speaker 1: Nissan Stadium for June thirtieth.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we did just announce the show. June
- 14:22Speaker 2: is still a ways away, so I'd like to think
- 14:24Speaker 2: that before post Malone is in town, we'll have more
- 14:27Speaker 2: to give away and Ghost Molone can come back.
- 14:29Speaker 1: You really love this game.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I think it's a fun game. It's basically it's name
- 14:33Speaker 2: that tune. If you're not familiar, if you didn't hear
- 14:35Speaker 2: it all this week, we have our man Ghost Malone
- 14:38Speaker 2: standing by to recite some lyrics from a Post Malone song.
- 14:42Speaker 2: If you can identify the song, call us six one, five, seven, three, seven,
- 14:46Speaker 2: nine one oh seven, tell us what it is. If
- 14:48Speaker 2: you're right, you're going to see Posty. Here we go
- 14:50Speaker 2: one final time, Ghost Malone. Take it away your audio
- 14:54Speaker 2: clue today.
- 14:57Speaker 6: Maybe you don't understand what I'm go It's old me me,
- 15:03Speaker 6: what you got to lose?
- 15:06Speaker 2: Six I stepped on the boot stepped on the boo?
- 15:09Speaker 2: How dare I step on the boot? Six one five seven,
- 15:12Speaker 2: three seven nine. If you know what song that is?
- 15:15Speaker 3: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the River.
- 15:20Speaker 1: It is the last day of Ghosts Malone on one
- 15:23Speaker 1: oh seven five of the River. Kevin is absolutely devastated
- 15:26Speaker 1: by this, but it's gonna be the last fun game
- 15:30Speaker 1: of the day for the week, so you can relition
- 15:32Speaker 1: that Kevin was that.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I mean that at all.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Last day for postalone tickets one O seven five of
- 15:38Speaker 1: the River is really what it comes down to. He's
- 15:40Speaker 1: playing Nissan Stadium on June thirtieth. I'm trying to make
- 15:42Speaker 1: you feel better and I don't know how to do it.
- 15:44Speaker 2: No, it's not working. We're going to say good morning
- 15:46Speaker 2: to Stephanie Murphysboro. Hi, Stephanie, Hi, good morning. What are
- 15:49Speaker 2: you up to this morning? What's your Friday looking like?
- 15:53Speaker 5: Me and my fiancee are on the way to drop
- 15:54Speaker 5: me off that work?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Okay, congratulations on the engagement.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Thank you? Are you ready to Ghosts Malone? Did you
- 16:01Speaker 1: listen to the clue that we gave you before we did?
- 16:05Speaker 3: All?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Right? Cool, I'm gonna plan it one more time. If
- 16:07Speaker 2: you know the song, you tell us and if you
- 16:09Speaker 2: get it right, you're going to see Posty. Here we
- 16:10Speaker 2: go one final time, Ghost Malone.
- 16:15Speaker 6: Maybe you don't understand what I'm going through. It's only
- 16:19Speaker 6: me what you got to lose? Boo?
- 16:25Speaker 2: Excuse me every time with that boo. All right, Stephanie,
- 16:28Speaker 2: name that tune? What post Malone song is that?
- 16:32Speaker 1: It's circle it is, sir.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Congratulations, Thank you much.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You've been getting the money all week, so I had
- 16:41Speaker 1: to stry today. Well, congratulations, because you guys are gonna
- 16:43Speaker 1: go see post Malone at Nissan Stadium June thirtieth, because
- 16:46Speaker 1: that man is a fan. Yes, pay off, Yes, thank
- 16:51Speaker 1: you so much, thank you.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Let's hear from the fiance. Let's hear his excitement. Yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 2: I'm freaking out.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I'm quiet, but I'm freaking out.
- 16:59Speaker 2: God, let's hear what's her?
- 17:00Speaker 1: A good scream? Real quick? Let it all out? Who
- 17:07Speaker 1: I love it?
- 17:08Speaker 2: Well you guys, congratulations and congrats again on the engagement.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Hangout so we can get all your info. Have fun
- 17:12Speaker 2: at the show.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Three things you need to know.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Let's go just after eight o'clock here on this Friday morning.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Very happy, It's Friday. Very happy to have you with us.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Bad Bunny did a Super Bowl press conference yesterday and
- 17:26Speaker 1: there are a lot of things from that circulating online.
- 17:29Speaker 1: He obviously talked about his performance during the halftime show.
- 17:33Speaker 1: He was asked a very big question, will he have
- 17:37Speaker 1: surprise guests? This is what he had to say, the
- 17:39Speaker 1: surprises on Sunday? Are you going to do the same thing?
- 17:41Speaker 2: Well, you have guests on stage this Sunday.
- 17:43Speaker 4: You know that's something that I'm gonna tell you, don't.
- 17:46Speaker 4: I don't know why you asked that. We had to, man,
- 17:49Speaker 4: we had to No. Well, I have a lot of guests.
- 17:52Speaker 4: It's gonna be my family, my friends, all the Latino
- 17:57Speaker 4: community around the world, the super Man, the whole country.
- 18:01Speaker 4: There's a lot of people that love me around the world.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Is gonna be a huge party. Is gonna be what
- 18:09Speaker 4: people always can expect from me.
- 18:12Speaker 1: He's gonna make it a huge party. One thing he
- 18:14Speaker 1: also did say is that he just wants everyone to
- 18:16Speaker 1: have fun on Sunday. He wants everyone to dance a
- 18:20Speaker 1: lot during his performance, which totally makes sense if you've
- 18:22Speaker 1: ever listened to any of his music. It's kind of
- 18:24Speaker 1: hard not to dance to it. Even if you don't
- 18:26Speaker 1: know how to like salsa or bashata or anything like that,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you still gotta move, okay. He also got very emotional
- 18:32Speaker 1: when talking about his mother and the impact that she
- 18:35Speaker 1: had on him, just supporting him as a person, not
- 18:38Speaker 1: so much as an artist, but just as a person.
- 18:40Speaker 1: It was a really great press conference. The beneath the Bowl.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry. The Super Bowl is happening this Sunday between
- 18:47Speaker 1: the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. You can
- 18:50Speaker 1: watch it Sunday night. Self driving Waymo cars are about
- 18:54Speaker 1: to hit the streets of Nashville. For the last year
- 18:57Speaker 1: or so, Waimo has been mapping the streets of Nashville
- 19:00Speaker 1: for the eventual launch of the self driving cars. So
- 19:03Speaker 1: the vehicles are going to be fully autonomous in a
- 19:06Speaker 1: few days, which means that there's not going to be
- 19:08Speaker 1: anybody behind the wheel, but passengers won't be inside of
- 19:11Speaker 1: them yet. This is like the last step that they
- 19:13Speaker 1: have to do before they can allow passengers inside. No
- 19:16Speaker 1: word on when the public can officially use them just yet,
- 19:19Speaker 1: but it seems that it's going to be very soon,
- 19:21Speaker 1: maybe sooner than we expected. So as of now, there
- 19:23Speaker 1: are only six cities that have Waymo cars available to
- 19:26Speaker 1: use for the public. We're going to be one of
- 19:29Speaker 1: the very few cities.
- 19:30Speaker 2: That have them.
- 19:31Speaker 1: We will see how that goes, and I will say
- 19:33Speaker 1: it scares me a little bit, but let's see what happens,
- 19:36Speaker 1: shall we. And lots of people are going to play
- 19:39Speaker 1: hooky on Monday. A new survey says that a record
- 19:43Speaker 1: twenty six point two million Americans are likely to play
- 19:46Speaker 1: hooky from worker school on Monday after the Super Bowl,
- 19:49Speaker 1: most of which are planned ahead of time, so people
- 19:51Speaker 1: have swapped shifts already. People already planned to call out sick.
- 19:55Speaker 1: They haven't said anything to their bosses, but they already
- 19:57Speaker 1: know what their game plan is. The number of people
- 20:00Speaker 1: is up from last year, which is kind of wild.
- 20:03Speaker 1: The survey estimates that the lost productivity could top five
- 20:07Speaker 1: point two billion dollars.
- 20:09Speaker 2: We just have to make that Monday a holiday. We
- 20:11Speaker 2: can do it once and for all.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Forty eight percent of American workers support the idea that
- 20:16Speaker 1: Monday should be a national holiday the Monday after Super Bowl.
- 20:20Speaker 1: I'm Richisanchez and those are the three things you need.
- 20:22Speaker 3: To know for Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning
- 20:24Speaker 3: one time.
- 20:26Speaker 2: For the leftovers. Ricky Well Zach's not here today. Normally
- 20:29Speaker 2: it's the three of us, but Ricky and I each
- 20:31Speaker 2: get thirty seconds to present a topic something we wanted
- 20:34Speaker 2: to bring to the radio this week and have time for.
- 20:37Speaker 2: That's what we do right now, Ricky, the floor.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Is yours, all right. Harry Styles fans are doing a
- 20:43Speaker 1: wild thing to try and get concert tickets. It's been
- 20:45Speaker 1: really really hard to get any of the tickets, so
- 20:48Speaker 1: they have resorted to hiring Etsy witches to help them
- 20:53Speaker 1: try to secure these tickets.
- 20:55Speaker 2: What's an easy witch.
- 20:57Speaker 1: It's a witch on Etsy. You can hire a witch
- 20:59Speaker 1: on Etsy to do a spell, a little ritual to
- 21:01Speaker 1: make sure that you're gonna get concert tickets. So there
- 21:05Speaker 1: was a record breaking demand for his Together Together tour. Obviously,
- 21:08Speaker 1: no one's shocked by that, so they don't know what
- 21:11Speaker 1: else to do at this point. According to Ticketmaster, eleven
- 21:14Speaker 1: point five million people registered for pre sale two Harry
- 21:17Speaker 1: Styles thirty shows at Madison Square Garden. Eleven point five
- 21:21Speaker 1: million people. That's insane, So I get it. What else
- 21:27Speaker 1: are you gonna do? You hire an Etsy witch?
- 21:29Speaker 2: Okay, better than nothing, I guess. Tryan mine is also
- 21:34Speaker 2: actually very similar. It's about hiring people.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Uh.
- 21:37Speaker 2: There's a new website, a brand new website. It's called
- 21:39Speaker 2: rent a Human dot Ai. Okay, it is where robots.
- 21:44Speaker 1: It's humid.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Robots can rent people to do actual physical jobs for
- 21:48Speaker 2: them in the real world.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Like that can't be real.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It's real. I'm telling you the truth. Over one hundred
- 21:53Speaker 2: thousand people have signed up to be rented for these tasks.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Uh.
- 21:57Speaker 2: The website says, robots need your body. In the little
- 22:01Speaker 2: tagline here says a I can't touch grass. You can
- 22:04Speaker 2: get paid when agents need someone in the real world.
- 22:06Speaker 2: So for meetings and uh sign events errands. Robots hire
- 22:11Speaker 2: people robots that I don't know. I don't know why
- 22:14Speaker 2: they're why they're making decisions on their own and having
- 22:18Speaker 2: I don't like it. I don't like it at all.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I feel like not enough people have watched Eye Robot.
- 22:23Speaker 2: I'm a little tempted to sign up though, just like
- 22:25Speaker 2: to see what it's all about. I don't know if
- 22:27Speaker 2: I can make a little money, Yeah, exactly, that's the point.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Rent to human dot ai if you're scared but also
- 22:34Speaker 2: a little intrigued, and that.
- 22:37Speaker 1: The leftovers Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning, Olivia Dean,
- 22:44Speaker 1: it's the river.
- 22:44Speaker 2: It's time for the Daily Double Tap. It's a video
- 22:47Speaker 2: one of us fines. We play it every day on
- 22:49Speaker 2: the on the air audio from a video that we
- 22:51Speaker 2: stumbled upon on the internet. We call it the Daily
- 22:54Speaker 2: Double Tap.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Kevin found this one and it is pretty specific
- 22:59Speaker 1: to one spot, but I think we get the same
- 23:02Speaker 1: experience everywhere we go.
- 23:04Speaker 2: It kind of feels like it here we go. Today's
- 23:05Speaker 2: Daily Double Tap is about CVS. I like the eight
- 23:08Speaker 2: foot long receipt idea. What if we just lock everything
- 23:12Speaker 2: behind bulletproof class.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I love it, except for our own generic brand. Oh yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 1: I mean nobody wants that you can steal.
- 23:17Speaker 3: We hope people steal it.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Maybe just like a one person rocking everything and he
- 23:22Speaker 1: should be fifteen years old and he should.
- 23:24Speaker 6: Be so mad.
- 23:24Speaker 1: We'll only play top rockets from the early two thousands.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 23:27Speaker 2: And it's just coming out of the dusty speak. I
- 23:29Speaker 2: like this for the layout, will narrow these eye Yeah yeah,
- 23:33Speaker 2: everyone's just kind of like in the way.
- 23:35Speaker 6: This one will just be Christmas.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Yeah around like as soon as fourth of July hits
- 23:39Speaker 2: bad even Easter.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, where are we going to put the bathroom
- 23:42Speaker 1: of it? There's no bathroom in any location ever. Awesome.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I do feel like CV has always has a Santa
- 23:48Speaker 2: in the window. Am I wrung?
- 23:50Speaker 1: I don't know that I've noticed, But what I have
- 23:53Speaker 1: noticed is the angry fifteen year old that has to
- 23:56Speaker 1: unlock everything. So that's a bad experience.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I think. I don't even like think anybody's working, Like
- 24:01Speaker 2: I'll go in there, I'll see you for ten minutes,
- 24:02Speaker 2: don't see a single worker.
- 24:04Speaker 1: It's it's quite the experience whenever you go to any
- 24:07Speaker 1: of these any same kind of I don't even know
- 24:09Speaker 1: what to call them.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Convenient conience stores, pharmacy, convenience about them? No, no, maybe
- 24:14Speaker 2: they're used to be, but these days it's it's tough.
- 24:17Speaker 3: One O seven the
- 24:19Speaker 2: River Ricky Zach and Manow in the morning,
