  So today we're going to have a little farm lesson and there's a

  metaphor in it. Of course, we are talking about
• 0:38
  seeds and how you grow seeds. So we do know, it's that time of
• 0:43
  year where growing is happening. Gardens are happening flowers
• 0:46
  are growing. We all go to the store and we
• 0:49
  pick up a package of seeds. We go to the little round thing
• 0:53
  that spins, you know, a little display and we look at the seeds
• 0:56
  and see. Okay, let me see which one looks
• 0:59
  appealing to me. And there's all different kinds.

  You could grow food, you could grow flowers, whatever it might
• 1:06
  be, you pick out your seed and you recognize that.

  There was some appeal in the packaging to this.
• 1:13
  Okay? Package looks great.

  You see the potential because the package is the potential,
• 1:19
  really important here, the package is the potential, it
• 1:22
  looks beautiful. Whatever's on their.

  You like, I want to grow that. Okay.

  Great. Come home and you get really
• 1:30
  excited. You figure about where you're
• 1:32
  going to plant. At least, I get really excited
• 1:34
  when I plant seeds and I usually go to the store and I do buy one
• 1:37
  package of seeds, I probably by, I don't know, hundreds of pages
• 1:41
  of seeds. I have a bit of an issue with
• 1:43
  it, but anyway, you get your your package, you come home and
• 1:47
  you sit down, you read the back of the package and it gives you
• 1:51
  all the instructions on how to make this grow.
• 1:54
  In fact, usually gives you A sprout rate, even it will tell
• 1:59
  you out of 100 seeds you'll have a tea that will Sprout.

  So you know, there's a failure rate in there, you understand
• 2:07
  that? Okay, I need to put this in the
• 2:09
  right conditions, this seed, like sandy soil, this seed likes
• 2:12
  to be in Lumi soil. This seed, likes to feel like it
• 2:16
  is wet often more than the dry seeds, just depends.

  Every seed has its own condition.

  Every plant has its own condition in which it thrives
• 2:24
  sunshade. All of it.

  And There's all these little codes on the back of the

  package, which is so cool because you have all the
• 2:31
  instructions for Success. Don't you wish?

  We had that for life like we were just handed a little
• 2:35
  package. And here you go.

  It's all the all the instructions for success or
• 2:39
  right there. So you take that seed and what
• 2:43
  happens next? You go out and you find the
• 2:46
  conditions in which it should go, and you put it in the ground
• 2:50
  and you cover it up. and that seed, then does what it does and
• 2:57
  we wait and we wait and we wait and we wait And we're patient.

  We're saying, okay, this is going to come up.
• 3:07
  This is going to come up. I can't wait to see what it is.

  I can't wait to see what this is, and we're like super, super
• 3:12
  patient about it. Most of us are anyway, we're
• 3:15
  super patient about it and I know sometimes we're not though,
• 3:20
  I because I just did a huge flower garden.
• 3:22
  Grew, lots of different things that I didn't know what they
• 3:24
  were going to look like when they came up and some of them I
• 3:28
  was like okay I can't even pull the weeds because I don't even
• 3:31
  know what this flower is going to look like when it comes up.
• 3:32
  So I had to be patient and boy. Boy, for me that is a huge test
• 3:35
  because I don't always have patience when it comes to stuff
• 3:38
  like that. I'm being creative and I'm doing
• 3:40
  stuff. I want to see the results but I
• 3:42
  had to be patient but anyway, back to our story of the seats,
• 3:45
  so it's in the ground, it's dark, it's damp and it's on its
• 3:52
  own. And that seed in that condition
• 3:56
  is transforming. But think about the conditions
• 4:00
  in which its transforming it's dark, like I said, it's enclosed
• 4:06
  tightly, it's alone, it's in their wet damp, not doesn't
• 4:13
  sound very pleasant does it? But it's transforming into that
• 4:17
  picture that pure potential that you saw on the package when you
• 4:21
  bought it, but it's not pleasant inside the ground.
• 4:26
  It's just, you know, it's becoming something else.
• 4:28
  Else and it has to work really hard.
• 4:30
  Because think about it that seed is in case it's really hard.
• 4:33
  And if you would pushed on that with your fingers, when you
• 4:35
  first got it, you know, seeds are hard.

  There's a protective coating and that life force that is inside.
• 4:41
  That seed has to work its little butt off to come out of that.

  She'll in fact, sometimes seeds won't even come out unless you
• 4:49
  soak them ahead of time. I have some plants that are
• 4:52
  absolutely gorgeous, that are, it's called a calendar.

  And if I don't soak those seeds for for E 8 hours ahead of time.

  Nothing shows up. They have to be soaked in water
• 5:03
  for 48 hours. They literally have to drown in
• 5:06
  water for 48 hours to penetrate the outside of that she'll seeds

  are hard. So you put them in the ground

  and they have to work their butts off and the lesson in this
• 5:16
  for us as human beings, is that transforming into that pure
• 5:22
  potential. That's on the package is not
• 5:24
  easy. And it takes work and it takes
• 5:28
  commitment and it takes going in and doing what you need to do,
• 5:33
  from the standpoint of being focused on it.
• 5:37
  And once you make that commitment, once you plant
• 5:39
  yourself in the ground, if you will with your commitment, you
• 5:44
  stay focused on doing the work that you need to do.
• 5:48
  And that work is an inside job. Just like that little seed
• 5:51
  coming out of that, she'll it is an Inside Job, sure, you have to
• 5:56
  do outside things too. But the work that you do on the
• 5:59
  inside the work, that pushes you mentally, the work that puts you
• 6:04
  in a place, where you stay focused, happy intent, keeping
• 6:09
  your energy aligned to where you want to go, is some of the
• 6:13
  hardest work that you will ever ever, ever ever do in your life
• 6:17
  yet. It is the work of greatness.

  It's the work that makes you go from who you where you are right
• 6:23
  now to where you want to. Be and who you are to who you
• 6:26
  want to be. It takes you all the way over.
• 6:31
  And it's not always just tasks my friends.
• 6:33
  It's about that transformation. Just like a seed.
• 6:37
  Going in the ground into a scary place into a committed place of
• 6:42
  being like okay I'm here and sometimes you got to do it by
• 6:45
  yourself. Sometimes you got to be that
• 6:47
  little seed more often than not, you got to be the little seed,
• 6:51
  but the wonderful thing is when you commit to it and you make
• 6:55
  the decision and you do the actions.
• 6:59
  That pure potential that was on the outside of the package shows
• 7:02
  up. When you put yourself in the
• 7:04
  right conditions, when you understand what you need, when
• 7:07
  you go along in the process and you trust that it's going to
• 7:12
  work, it works. So part of your process is being
• 7:16
  here and learning different things.
• 7:18
  Keeping your perspective, clean asking better questions.
• 7:22
  That's the like planting yourself in the right soil.

  So today is you head out there into the world.

  Make sure that You are being the seed, make sure that you are not
• 7:32
  quitting on yourself. Make sure that you understand,

  you are asking the right questions to set yourself up for
• 7:38
  the pure potential. That's on the outside of that

  package because I believe in it. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here
