- 0:13Speaker 1: All right, We're back here at the Woody Show on
- 0:15Speaker 1: a throwback Thursday, and it feels throwback because we were
- 0:17Speaker 1: talking about Lord of the Fly yea, all that kind
- 0:22Speaker 1: of all this other throwback stuff, and then Odyssey, which
- 0:26Speaker 1: I've never heard of me neither.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Apparently it's huge.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Apparently throwback.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Can we bring Tyler back in though? Real quick? We
- 0:35Speaker 2: need more Tyler Tyler Tyler. Okay, so everyone on the
- 0:40Speaker 2: show says that I'm obsessed with Tyler, But the fact
- 0:43Speaker 2: that the fact that that doesn't get brought up is
- 0:46Speaker 2: I do a weekly podcast with him, So that's why
- 0:48Speaker 2: I know a lot.
- 0:49Speaker 1: About him, right, it makes sense.
- 0:51Speaker 2: So I apparently just caused some drama between him and
- 0:55Speaker 2: his mom because our podcast I posted online an AI
- 1:00Speaker 2: video of Tyler like promoting like, hey, we have a
- 1:03Speaker 2: new episode out, but the AI video is of Tyler
- 1:07Speaker 2: getting slapped, so it says new episode out now, and
- 1:11Speaker 2: it's a video in this AI hand goes across his
- 1:14Speaker 2: face and slaps him across the face.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Does it actually look like he's getting slapped?
- 1:18Speaker 2: It does, but it's really bad.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Are you gonna cost us our banana bread plug?
- 1:23Speaker 2: Because I don't know. That's why I want to do
- 1:25Speaker 2: a deep dive. That's why I want to bring Tyler
- 1:26Speaker 2: back in. Now, Tyler, is your mom still mad about
- 1:30Speaker 2: that video or does she still think it's real?
- 1:32Speaker 4: Okay, she wasn't mad. She definitely thought it was real.
- 1:36Speaker 4: So she texted me yesterday and she's like, are you busy?
- 1:40Speaker 4: I said, yeah, I'm working. She's just like, what's where's
- 1:43Speaker 4: the slapping video from? He's like, what are you talking about?
- 1:46Speaker 4: And she's like the video that men is supposted? Like
- 1:48Speaker 4: where is that from? Like how did that happen?
- 1:49Speaker 5: I'm like, Mom, it's Ai. Yeah, what are you talking about?
- 1:52Speaker 3: I don't know?
- 1:53Speaker 5: And then she texts me it's clearly in our living group.
- 1:58Speaker 2: The video. Okay, I'll show you the videos. The video
- 2:01Speaker 2: Tyler and he's wearing a Houston Astros cowboy hat.
- 2:05Speaker 5: It's one of those big foam cowboys.
- 2:08Speaker 1: It's in.
- 2:11Speaker 5: It's sitting in my closset.
- 2:13Speaker 2: You shouldn't have been that. You should have said that
- 2:14Speaker 2: was a but yeah, here's the man. Like, see if
- 2:19Speaker 2: I can pull it up where it doesn't give away
- 2:21Speaker 2: the slap just yet.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It just seems like something you could have cleared up
- 2:24Speaker 1: within three seconds. She's upset about it. You tell her
- 2:26Speaker 1: it's a I story done with her.
- 2:29Speaker 6: There, wait a second, see that again.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Okay, that's yeah.
- 2:35Speaker 3: But there's one really.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Obvious you can tell that it's a I.
- 2:40Speaker 6: But I'll just explain why. Well, the slap is going
- 2:44Speaker 6: one way and Tyler's head.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Also his freaking left arm disappears. I told you it's
- 2:51Speaker 2: really bad AI.
- 2:53Speaker 4: On top of that, like the guy like whoever's slapping me?
- 2:55Speaker 4: Like the hand just flips over like mid slap. It's
- 2:58Speaker 4: very weird.
- 2:58Speaker 6: But parents and grandparents especially, they just don't know they
- 3:02Speaker 6: would the new show.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Okay, so that that takes me back to a few
- 3:05Speaker 4: months ago. I'm visiting my parents at the house and
- 3:08Speaker 4: my dad calls me over. He's like, oh, look at
- 3:10Speaker 4: this video I found, and it's a gorilla just beating
- 3:13Speaker 4: the hell out of an alligator but putting like legit
- 3:18Speaker 4: WW style.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Moves on him.
- 3:19Speaker 4: And I look at my dad. I'm like, Dad, that's AI.
- 3:22Speaker 4: He's like, no, it's not. I'm like, Dad, go to
- 3:24Speaker 4: the comment section. I guarantee you it's AI. First comment
- 3:28Speaker 4: is from the guy who made it. I had such
- 3:29Speaker 4: a fun time using AI and all this.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Oh my god, guys.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's bad.
- 3:34Speaker 7: Man.
- 3:35Speaker 6: I get more confused by the simpler stuff, like why
- 3:37Speaker 6: would anyone bother to do this? This must be real,
- 3:39Speaker 6: Like oh, this kitt is climbing up a giraffe, Like okay,
- 3:42Speaker 6: but who would.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Think to do something so stupid?
- 3:44Speaker 2: I know. And what's terrible is the place where it's
- 3:48Speaker 2: rampant with AI is Facebook, and where is older people?
- 3:54Speaker 2: It's legit and bad. My mom was showing some photos like, oh,
- 3:57Speaker 2: my my friend took a private jet flight and I
- 4:02Speaker 2: look at the look at the photos. And now I
- 4:05Speaker 2: don't know if the friend is telling her that they
- 4:07Speaker 2: actually legit won our private jet flight or they were
- 4:10Speaker 2: just joking, but she was showing to their show. My
- 4:14Speaker 2: mom was showing me the photos as if they were real.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, they have the hard.
- 4:19Speaker 2: To tell hers because I didn't know the backstory.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Well.
- 4:21Speaker 6: The other one that they love right now is like
- 4:24Speaker 6: I don't know why I'm getting assaulted with these in
- 4:26Speaker 6: my Instagram feed. But like nurses and scrubs that are
- 4:30Speaker 6: apparently like world class champion dancers.
- 4:33Speaker 3: They're all doing the same dance and.
- 4:34Speaker 6: They all look the same doing it, but they're all
- 4:37Speaker 6: you guys, they they're just moonlighting as nurses, but they're
- 4:39Speaker 6: obviously dance dances.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know why we do this and why
- 4:44Speaker 3: everybody falls for it.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Now, Greg, you have older parents, I do. Do they
- 4:49Speaker 2: stay offline? Do they get full by AI at all?
- 4:52Speaker 1: My dad has a Facebook page, but he doesn't go
- 4:54Speaker 1: on it all. He uses it for excuse me, is
- 4:57Speaker 1: when people comment on something or post a photo, he'll
- 5:01Speaker 1: get an email a door, no, Gina posted a photo,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and then he'll just like, look at photo and that's it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So he treats it almost like a like Instagram by proxy, right,
- 5:11Speaker 1: because he could just gets notified. So they won't fall
- 5:14Speaker 1: victim to AI videos because they're not on Instagram, they're
- 5:17Speaker 1: not on Facebook, they're not opening attachments on emails or whatever.
- 5:21Speaker 2: My mom's on Facebook all the time and she sends
- 5:24Speaker 2: me frenchy AI video. I'm like, do you think these
- 5:27Speaker 2: are real?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Well? If you look at the Tyler one for five seconds,
- 5:31Speaker 1: you know. I'm not a big physics buff or anything,
- 5:33Speaker 1: but when a left hand comes at you and hits
- 5:36Speaker 1: you on the right side of your face, your face
- 5:38Speaker 1: doesn't go launching to the less.
- 5:39Speaker 3: That's what I was so confused about with Tyler's mom
- 5:42Speaker 3: and it.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Doesn't even look like you really mom, I love you,
- 5:45Speaker 4: but come on, come on.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Well the other thing is and you guys wouldn't know this,
- 5:50Speaker 6: but the kids have the opposite problem, and this is
- 5:53Speaker 6: driving me insane. Every video, normal video, regular, real life
- 5:58Speaker 6: based video.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I show my.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Kid I fake no.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, like no, like nothing's real. Everybody they know better
- 6:05Speaker 3: than everyone.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And then what's also sad is people that I know
- 6:08Speaker 2: that shouldn't be got by AI are getting got by AI.
- 6:12Speaker 2: You know, like in the real house that you are
- 6:15Speaker 2: aware of all this kind of stuff. Ye, you're still getting.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Gotte But in people's defense, it's really good.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah, true.
- 6:22Speaker 8: I think it's the best when parents discover AI for themselves.
- 6:26Speaker 8: My dad randomly sent me a picture of my dog
- 6:29Speaker 8: at like Fenway Park, Like what is this?
- 6:33Speaker 3: I'm like, uh, down discovered AI settle in.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That's pretty harmless. But I've been asking the question for
- 6:40Speaker 1: ten years. When we have the menace excuse generator and
- 6:44Speaker 1: you want to skip work, and he once proposed, oh,
- 6:48Speaker 1: take a picture or Google crutches leaning against wall in bedroom,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and then you send that to your boss and say, hey,
- 6:54Speaker 1: broke my foot till you come to work. Yeah, I've
- 6:57Speaker 1: always questioned who put that on Google to begin with?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Like when you say, what's the purpose of a nurse
- 7:03Speaker 1: and a dancing video? Why? Why would anybody google? Like
- 7:08Speaker 1: milk cartons sitting on floor. I guarantee you'll find it.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Who put it there?
- 7:14Speaker 2: And why? Photo?
- 7:17Speaker 1: It's bizarre? Now what do they called them?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Metaphorse? But I'm gonna take this video of Tyler gain slapped.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I'm going to put it on the Woody Show Instagram
- 7:26Speaker 2: story so people can see it for themselves.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Right, and then hashtag workplays violence, work environment.
- 7:33Speaker 2: But yeah, a little explanation on why I know so
- 7:36Speaker 2: much about Tyler. We do have a podcast.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Well, it's also unfair in this room, the narratives that
- 7:41Speaker 1: could put on people. You have a friend and Tyler,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you work together, you do a podcast together, and then
- 7:46Speaker 1: quote eure Ue says, I actually just it's just snowball
- 7:51Speaker 1: in here.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I listened to what he says.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yeah, crazy, Wow, it's like you're a Stoker and we're
- 8:00Speaker 1: back here on the Woody Show. You're just joining us.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Woody will be back tomorrow. He's off today. It's Greg
- 8:07Speaker 1: Gina Menas Sammy, everybody else is at Woody Show headquarters
- 8:11Speaker 1: this morning before the week gets too old and before
- 8:14Speaker 1: I forget to tell you. And that's the whole point,
- 8:16Speaker 1: is me forgetting. I have a weird not confession, but
- 8:21Speaker 1: something that happened to me when we were getting ready
- 8:23Speaker 1: for Woody Show prom this past weekend. Alright, this was scary.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You know how I always say that I think that
- 8:29Speaker 1: I'm getting like early onset dementia. Yes, I've heard that,
- 8:33Speaker 1: So this was legit scary to me because well, I
- 8:38Speaker 1: don't know if the if the women in the room
- 8:40Speaker 1: have ever tried to put a tie on, but menace.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You've put a tie on before, Yes, a thousand times.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I've put on a tie ten thousand times. Weddings, funerals,
- 8:50Speaker 1: you name it, proms.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Whatever, Getting a bank loan, yeah, getting a bank loan.
- 8:54Speaker 1: You're always putting on a tie trying to look your best.
- 8:57Speaker 1: So sometimes, ladies, when you're putting on a tie, you
- 9:00Speaker 1: put the big, wider part on the right, and you
- 9:03Speaker 1: put the thinner part on the left, and you have
- 9:05Speaker 1: to make the wider part that will be in the
- 9:08Speaker 1: front of the tie a lot longer than the left side.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And then once you flip it, wrap it around, flip
- 9:15Speaker 1: it over again, pull it up through the tie, and
- 9:18Speaker 1: then stick it through the little you know opening that
- 9:21Speaker 1: you've made, pull it down, and then you tighten it. Well,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I'm getting ready for the prom and the back part
- 9:27Speaker 1: of the tie is too long, so I undo it,
- 9:29Speaker 1: do it again. Back part still visible too long. So
- 9:33Speaker 1: then I overcompensate. I make the front part of the
- 9:35Speaker 1: tie way too long. It's like below my zipper. So
- 9:39Speaker 1: I'm retying my tie about eight or nine times, no exaggeration,
- 9:44Speaker 1: So I want to get it perfect on try. Let's
- 9:47Speaker 1: say number nine. I said, Okay, I gotta get this right.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I think I can do it. I forgot how to
- 9:53Speaker 1: tie a tie. I had just done it nine times,
- 9:56Speaker 1: so I get on YouTube because I kept doing and
- 10:00Speaker 1: I was doing it wrong. Whoa, and I'm talking like
- 10:04Speaker 1: it wasn't like I arrived and oh time to get dressed.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Oh crap, how do I tie a tie? I had
- 10:09Speaker 1: just been doing it for ten minutes.
- 10:13Speaker 6: That only makes me think of like if you say
- 10:15Speaker 6: a word enough times and then you forget the meaning.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Of it, Like you forgot what a tie was.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Oh that's true.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I'm about to blow your mind.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I hope you're in the same boat because I.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Was fine with my tie, but who was staying with me?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Tyler and Nacho my wife, right yeah, and she was
- 10:32Speaker 2: wearing an oversized suit for the party, right, So I
- 10:35Speaker 2: had to tie their ties.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Okay, I was gonna say, your wife was wearing a tie.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah. So I did my tie fine, I did her
- 10:42Speaker 2: tie fine, and then I got to Tyler and I
- 10:45Speaker 2: kept on getting the length wrong, just like you.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Right, yes, And.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Then after the fourth try, I forgot how to do
- 10:52Speaker 2: it at the exact same time.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Are you okay good? I mean not good but weird?
- 10:59Speaker 2: Yeah, there is a rip in the dimension that we
- 11:02Speaker 2: were something. But then it took me a second. I'm like,
- 11:05Speaker 2: wait a minute, wait, how do I do this?
- 11:07Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 11:08Speaker 2: And then it took me a second, uh, probably like
- 11:11Speaker 2: two minutes to re remember how to tie the tie.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Even though you had just been doing it, just been
- 11:16Speaker 1: doing I did two of.
- 11:18Speaker 3: You didn't even do the other ones wrong. They came
- 11:20Speaker 3: out they were that is so weird.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And in the same boat, I was doing it. This
- 11:25Speaker 1: is too long, wht me redo it up? The front
- 11:27Speaker 1: is too long, let me redo it. And then boom. Wait, yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 1: how do you like?
- 11:32Speaker 2: I can't tell so weird how many jobs I had
- 11:35Speaker 2: that I had to tie a tie. I know how
- 11:37Speaker 2: to do it, like I when I sold TVs, when
- 11:39Speaker 2: I sold cell phones, when I worked at a audio
- 11:42Speaker 2: visual company, at a hotel, how to wear a tie
- 11:45Speaker 2: every day, and then in that moment, at the same
- 11:48Speaker 2: time as you forgot the same hotel.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is bizarreposed to make out?
- 11:55Speaker 2: Right? Now, what happens?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Mind blown? Do we explode? I just saw this thing
- 11:59Speaker 1: this morning that if you want to decrease the risk
- 12:02Speaker 1: of dementia, yes, and I'm not This isn't stolen valor.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I'm not saying, oh, we have dementia. I'm just pointing
- 12:08Speaker 1: out a weird twilight zone thing that happened to us.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You got to eat more leafy green vegetables, more fatty fish,
- 12:15Speaker 1: and more blueberries. You always hear good stuff.
- 12:18Speaker 3: There's superfoods.
- 12:19Speaker 6: I just looked up what would cause this this rift
- 12:22Speaker 6: in the time you know dimension that you guys had, right.
- 12:26Speaker 6: I don't know if any of these apply to you.
- 12:28Speaker 6: The first one is working memory glitches, So were you distracted.
- 12:31Speaker 3: In the middle of it?
- 12:32Speaker 2: No, it's just were you.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Super tired always and did you have some sort of
- 12:38Speaker 6: medication problem?
- 12:41Speaker 3: Then I have no idea what happened.
- 12:42Speaker 1: We were just mind melding. Oh weird, weird, crazy trip out.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I can barely remember to open my mouth when I'm eating.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Like you think I'm gonna remember to bring a camera's
- 12:52Speaker 2: bags at GURB.
- 12:54Speaker 3: I don't think you're gonna remember something.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And we are back here on your Thursday morning show.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and we were recovering the news. But I don't
- 13:03Speaker 2: know if you saw the big news yesterday America we're
- 13:07Speaker 2: getting new sunscreen.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Huh did you hear about this sunscreen? Yeah?
- 13:12Speaker 2: So, I guess there was like some type of sunscreen
- 13:15Speaker 2: that has not been improved in America in the past
- 13:17Speaker 2: twenty years, but everywhere else in like throughout Asia and
- 13:20Speaker 2: the UK, and now it's been approved and we're gonna
- 13:23Speaker 2: get the same sunscreen as that. It's an ingredient of menace.
- 13:27Speaker 7: If you want to google and just try to pronounce
- 13:30Speaker 7: or pronounce the ingredients.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Oh god, oh yeah, i'd like it starts to be Yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Yeah, let's let's write it down.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Okay, all right, fine, that's interesting though.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Yeah, it's weird.
- 13:40Speaker 7: That there would be years of delay if it was
- 13:42Speaker 7: already because usually usually Europe usually we have something, then
- 13:46Speaker 7: Europe bans it and then we get rid of it.
- 13:48Speaker 7: Not we don't usually take stuff from Europe and China.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Yeah, because this is actually better. I don't know the word,
- 13:54Speaker 2: but okay, but it's like reflective instead of observative. Yeah,
- 14:02Speaker 2: so reflects the.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Sun like a heat house is white to reflect.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Apparently it lasts a lot longer on your skin as well.
- 14:10Speaker 3: So what's it called. What's this ingredient?
- 14:11Speaker 2: It's called uh be bem tourism. We're gonna get Yeah,
- 14:22Speaker 2: you tried great.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I think you said it pretty well. Bemomoo you stronger
- 14:35Speaker 1: uv a protection.
- 14:37Speaker 2: But I mean if Asia is using it and they're
- 14:39Speaker 2: like the kings of skin.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Yes, you know it's good.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 7: If you see you see if you're going an international resort,
- 14:45Speaker 7: you ever see a Chinese woman, she.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Is had to.
- 14:49Speaker 7: I would say there lighter than most Caucasians because stay
- 14:53Speaker 7: out of the song and.
- 14:53Speaker 3: They have the visor that goes down like to the knees.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm talking to like overall skin care and
- 14:59Speaker 2: like skin ca hair long. It's all about you know. Yeah,
- 15:03Speaker 2: Korea and the UK really really good at this. So
- 15:06Speaker 2: I'm excited because you know, I was very anti sunscreen,
- 15:10Speaker 2: like Greg, because I just hate the feel of the
- 15:13Speaker 2: sunscreen on the skin. And they said that this is
- 15:17Speaker 2: more like transparent, not like that big huge, like super
- 15:22Speaker 2: thick and stuff like that. I finally found sunscreen. I
- 15:25Speaker 2: shout it out all the time because I think people
- 15:27Speaker 2: should wear sunscreen for sure.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm a believer.
- 15:30Speaker 7: Now, yeah, it's actually actually.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Feels good on your skin. Is called super Goop sunscreen, dude,
- 15:41Speaker 2: I'm all about it. It is not cheap, but it
- 15:44Speaker 2: feels good on your skin, and yeah, you need sunscreen, man,
- 15:47Speaker 2: and they have they sell it at Target now and.
- 15:50Speaker 4: What is it called super Goop?
- 15:53Speaker 3: Supergoop?
- 15:53Speaker 8: And so do you put that on your face? Because
- 15:55Speaker 8: my problem is, and I don't know what it is,
- 15:57Speaker 8: every time I put sunscreen on my face, it gets
- 16:00Speaker 8: in my eyes. And not even necessarily when I'm putting
- 16:03Speaker 8: it on, but at some point throughout the day I
- 16:04Speaker 8: will rub my eye or something happens and then I
- 16:06Speaker 8: have sunscreen in my eye.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Well the super Goop, I know, like I've gone some
- 16:10Speaker 2: in my eye and it's fine, But like the cheap sunscreen.
