Lubbock’s Volunteer Center is celebrating its big move into a brand-new home this Thursday, August 27th, with a free open house from 1 PM to 5 PM — complete with a ribbon-cutting at 4 PM. After 36 years of serving the community without a permanent base, this is their first true home, designed to be the central hub for volunteerism, leadership, and connection in Lubbock.
