- 0:58Speaker 2: on the precipice of the weekend, and we're not far away.
- 1:01Speaker 2: We just sort to get through Thursday and then it's Friday.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Keasy your mad Barstard Hell's Live.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I'm pretty sleepy today. I don't know why you're sleeping
- 1:08Speaker 3: Joe as well, a bit dowey eyed. I have to
- 1:10Speaker 3: see you say that every day though. Yeah, it's hard
- 1:13Speaker 3: to tell if I actually am a bit green around
- 1:15Speaker 3: the gills or not.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Is it because you just scoffed the massive pie and
- 1:18Speaker 2: you're having that after lunch kind of doziness?
- 1:22Speaker 3: I don't know, because that's pretty much my bread and butter.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, eating a pie. Yeah, usually I can power
- 1:26Speaker 3: through it. But maybe maybe if I just take the
- 1:28Speaker 3: next ten or so minutes off and you guys just
- 1:31Speaker 3: run things, that's good.
- 1:32Speaker 5: Yeah, it's no worries, man, All good, All good, You
- 1:35Speaker 5: look good? Yeah, thanks man, you do actually is anything in.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Particular the whole package?
- 1:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:41Speaker 4: You're doing your best to make that hat.
- 1:45Speaker 3: As filthy as everything else. It is amazing how quickly
- 1:48Speaker 3: it's gone from a brand you had to quite filthy.
- 1:51Speaker 3: He's all over it.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Well, because you know this is what I do when
- 1:54Speaker 2: I wake up in the morning. The first thing I
- 1:56Speaker 2: do is put my head on.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I'm surprised you take it off.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Well, yeah, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I sleep in it
- 2:02Speaker 2: as well, you know what I mean. But you're right, fellas,
- 2:05Speaker 2: it is going to be a massive show. For one thing,
- 2:07Speaker 2: I've had a massive revelation after being with my wife
- 2:10Speaker 2: for twenty six years.
- 2:13Speaker 5: And Keesy, speaking.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Of wives, you're a bit outraged about some of your
- 2:17Speaker 2: wife No, no.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Not our age.
- 2:21Speaker 3: But I had a revelation, Yeah, revelation to twelve years
- 2:25Speaker 3: of being together. I thought you were disgusted. No, no, no,
- 2:27Speaker 3: that was Jason. Yeah, and Mogi you were saying you
- 2:30Speaker 3: were absolutely filthy with your wife for something.
- 2:32Speaker 4: I just don't know how. She makes me love it
- 2:35Speaker 4: even more every day. That makes me really angry.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Yeah whatever, I.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Just don't know.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Actually gets more and more beautiful every day, fellows. But
- 2:42Speaker 4: that's my cross to beer, I guess.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yeah whatever.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Also, of course your chance to get in the draw
- 2:47Speaker 2: for would you rather either Bathhurst or the NRL Grand Final.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Let's have a few Chunes, fellows. But a wheezer?
- 2:56Speaker 3: What a rubber? Three four eight three? By the way, yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 3: what are you have to use the ring? What are
- 3:01Speaker 3: you wearing?
- 3:03Speaker 1: The hoed Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 3:07Speaker 1: and Keezy is indeed.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Guns Rose is there on the Radio hod Ache Big
- 3:13Speaker 2: Show this Tuesday afternoon, thirteen minutes past four o'clock.
- 3:16Speaker 5: I just want to remind the listeners.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Out there too of the talkback situation that we have.
- 3:21Speaker 2: You can go on your iHeartRadio app, and on that
- 3:23Speaker 2: app is a little microphone that you can push and
- 3:25Speaker 2: send us messages directly to the studio a Fellers.
- 3:29Speaker 3: That's right. Voice messages you record yourself, We get them
- 3:31Speaker 3: here and then we can play them out on are
- 3:33Speaker 3: provided they don't feature too much filth. I know you don't.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Yeah, in fact, I enjoy a bit of filth.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Speaking of philth. Actually, I've got something that's really bugging me, Fellas,
- 3:43Speaker 3: have it been bugging you? Yes, yes, I'm bugging.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Incidentally, was that us singing in that it's been bugging me?
- 3:53Speaker 3: You can't tell you.
- 3:54Speaker 5: It's pretty good.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure it's us and Jordan Luck right, yeah, yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 3: So you does this happened with you? Guys? You find
- 4:00Speaker 3: out someone's coming over to your house, so I think
- 4:02Speaker 3: we have discussed this. So you make out as though
- 4:04Speaker 3: your house is a showroom at all times by cleaning
- 4:07Speaker 3: it to an inch of its life. Yes you do that? No?
- 4:11Speaker 5: You just said yes, Well no, I mean yes, I
- 4:14Speaker 5: know what you mean.
- 4:15Speaker 2: People clean their houses toward an inch of their lives,
- 4:18Speaker 2: trying to create a false impression that that's how they
- 4:20Speaker 2: live all the time.
- 4:21Speaker 3: That's right, Mike, do you do that? Yeah? So, And
- 4:24Speaker 3: to be fair, we like to live in a tidy
- 4:25Speaker 3: house most of the time anyway. But it'll just be
- 4:28Speaker 3: the extra little five percent we have to do if
- 4:30Speaker 3: we find out someone's coming over. Sure. Now, after the
- 4:32Speaker 3: show last night, I got a phone call saying one
- 4:34Speaker 3: of Lucy's friends was coming up last minute from christ
- 4:36Speaker 3: Chan Stations, Panic Stations. We've got to pick her up
- 4:38Speaker 3: from the airport at nine o'clock. No, so stop you're there, which,
- 4:43Speaker 3: by the way, I'm totally fine with not because they
- 4:45Speaker 3: do the same for us down a christ Hitch all
- 4:47Speaker 3: the time, and.
- 4:48Speaker 5: They could have given you a bit more notice.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Surely it was an emergency, come on, Jason, sorry, man,
- 4:53Speaker 3: come on man. And so we had about an hour
- 4:56Speaker 3: to sort of tidy the place up to the level
- 4:59Speaker 3: of like showroom and the stuff that I was asked
- 5:02Speaker 3: to do. I did it, obviously, but I was just like,
- 5:04Speaker 3: is this ridiculous or is this not ridiculous. So first
- 5:07Speaker 3: of all, there was a frying pan and two chopping
- 5:10Speaker 3: boards drying on the drying rack in the kitchen right
- 5:13Speaker 3: next to the sink. Do I have to put those away? Right?
- 5:17Speaker 3: We don't want the guests to know that we used
- 5:19Speaker 3: a frying pan and a chopping board, right, m yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 3: that would be going away.
- 5:23Speaker 4: I hate I hate a drip dry because to me,
- 5:26Speaker 4: it means your kitchen is never clean. It's always dirty
- 5:28Speaker 4: because you've either got the dishes sitting on one side
- 5:30Speaker 4: or the other to the naked eye. The eye doesn't
- 5:33Speaker 4: know whether those dishes are clean or dirty. As just
- 5:36Speaker 4: I hate that.
- 5:37Speaker 3: You hate that. So the way it works in our house,
- 5:39Speaker 3: just so you know, I watched the dishes drip dry.
- 5:41Speaker 3: There's usually three things, frying pan and a cut board overnight,
- 5:44Speaker 3: next morning put them away. So that's fine. Those have
- 5:47Speaker 3: to go because we don't want the guests to know
- 5:49Speaker 3: that we use a frying pan. I agree, okay, So
- 5:50Speaker 3: I'll put a technixt to that one, Jase, you don't care.
- 5:53Speaker 3: You live in filth anyway. So the next one is
- 5:55Speaker 3: we have a closed rack, yes, which is in our
- 5:59Speaker 3: little sun room you enter now in winter it takes
- 6:02Speaker 3: ages to dry stuff and we don't have a dryer,
- 6:04Speaker 3: so we had socks and stuff on there. Nothing major.
- 6:07Speaker 3: We had to take that and movies. Yes, my neckers
- 6:11Speaker 3: were on there.
- 6:11Speaker 5: We had, yes, but just yours.
- 6:14Speaker 3: You're just mine. We're not allow to max apparently, Am
- 6:18Speaker 3: you serious? Yeah, Jasob serious. So we had to take
- 6:22Speaker 3: that clothes wreck and put it in the garage so
- 6:25Speaker 3: that people don't know that we dry our clothes. So
- 6:28Speaker 3: that would you do the same, That would be the
- 6:30Speaker 3: same thing that would happen at my house, right, Okay?
- 6:33Speaker 3: Nah ah? What about this one here? Really got my.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Goat deep inside?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Sure, grind it, grind it up and put it back inside. Yeah,
- 6:41Speaker 4: did and inside you got there.
- 6:44Speaker 3: I had to take out the rubbish bins, right, We've
- 6:45Speaker 3: got a recycling bin and a rubbish bin under the
- 6:47Speaker 3: sink hidden away. They were half full. I had to
- 6:52Speaker 3: take those out and put fresh ones in because we
- 6:54Speaker 3: don't want the guests to know that we've got rubbish.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Fresh ones in like fresh paper bags that we use.
- 7:00Speaker 3: So I had to it was half for I had
- 7:01Speaker 3: to take it out, put it in the burns out
- 7:02Speaker 3: the back, put in fresh ones so that the guests
- 7:04Speaker 3: didn't see what rubbish we'd used.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, nah see, I mean it's in a
- 7:10Speaker 4: way yeah, I understand what you're saying.
- 7:12Speaker 3: It probably wouldn't have it at my house, but I
- 7:14Speaker 3: can see the thinking.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, was there any throw cushion action there?
- 7:19Speaker 3: Keysy, Well, yeah, We've got six throw cushions and you
- 7:22Speaker 3: have to put three on one corner of the couch,
- 7:23Speaker 3: three on the other, and you have to karate chop
- 7:25Speaker 3: them in the middle so that they have little ears. Yeah.
- 7:27Speaker 3: So I had to do that and had to fold
- 7:29Speaker 3: the throw blanket up and put that in the middle.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Here's the thing, fellas you know, and I can relate
- 7:34Speaker 2: to what you're both saying. To be fair, we've had
- 7:38Speaker 2: three or four people say to us what I love
- 7:41Speaker 2: about your house, And I don't know if it's a
- 7:43Speaker 2: compliment or an insult. They say, what I love about
- 7:46Speaker 2: your house is it feels.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Like a home.
- 7:48Speaker 4: I describe your house as it feels lived in, lived in.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Thank you, Morgan.
- 7:53Speaker 2: We've had a few people say that to us because
- 7:55Speaker 2: we are My wife's.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Kind of messy.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Wow. She's kind of messy wow. And I'm quite tired.
- 8:02Speaker 3: I don't even off that wow.
- 8:05Speaker 5: But you know, I'm kind of loose and I'm Lucy Goosey.
- 8:08Speaker 3: You're a shambles.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I said the front easy, geez, what are the
- 8:13Speaker 2: punters out there think? Do you clean your houses toward
- 8:16Speaker 2: an inch of their lives?
- 8:17Speaker 3: Of our guests coming over fifty nine day vouchers to
- 8:21Speaker 3: give away. She also made me take my dillies out
- 8:24Speaker 3: of the sink. Oh yeah, what the hell?
- 8:27Speaker 5: Yeah, no, that's a step too far.
- 8:29Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kesey.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Radio Hodarchy You.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Yes, indeed, And someone's just texted in on three four
- 8:45Speaker 2: eight three and they and they've asked, what are the
- 8:47Speaker 2: actual prizes here?
- 8:48Speaker 5: What do we win if we actually seed?
- 8:51Speaker 3: But someone takes that question in last yesterday.
- 8:53Speaker 5: So I think you need to get it out there easy.
- 8:55Speaker 4: I think the problem is we're not We're not sort
- 8:57Speaker 4: of sitting there. That for me because I sort of here,
- 8:59Speaker 4: you know a bit of bathroost chair, but of the
- 9:01Speaker 4: n r L. But what exactly are the details? Because
- 9:04Speaker 4: they need details, they need to know what the details.
- 9:06Speaker 3: That's a really good shout out. Yeah, So you can
- 9:08Speaker 3: either win Mogi. The listeners who heard the cutter call
- 9:14Speaker 3: then called on eight hundred Hodak, you can either win
- 9:16Speaker 3: four nights on Mount Panorama watching the Bathurst one thousand
- 9:19Speaker 3: flights in accommodation included, or the rugby league weekend of
- 9:23Speaker 3: your life, the NRL Grand Final races on the set,
- 9:25Speaker 3: do your pre match cruise of the game on the site?
- 9:28Speaker 3: Lights and accommodation.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Can I just clarify though there with the admin there easy?
- 9:34Speaker 2: You're not staying four nights on Mount Panorama, Jays the accommodation.
- 9:39Speaker 5: And my accommodation.
- 9:42Speaker 3: It is?
- 9:43Speaker 5: So they're in a tent on Mount Panorama.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Is that it's a pretty amazing experience sleeping in the pits.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Okay, that's that's even better? Good a Josh you or
- 9:53Speaker 2: your mad bastard? How's life?
- 9:55Speaker 3: Oh? Grouse? Mate? Grouse? Good on you mateo on you mate?

- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah? Good?
- 10:25Speaker 5: Thanks?
- 10:25Speaker 4: Mate?
- 10:26Speaker 5: What do you do for a crust.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I'm a jeweler.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Really backbone are you bone? Yeah? Good?
- 10:34Speaker 5: Good money and jewelry there, damon.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not too bad I have. It's been a
- 10:38Speaker 3: lifelong career. So are we talking handmade stuff? Damon? All

- 11:13Speaker 5: I like it?
- 11:13Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:14Speaker 5: It is it just Chris? Or is it Christopher? Just
- 11:18Speaker 5: Christopher to my mother, but everyone else called me Chris?
- 11:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah nice.
- 11:20Speaker 5: What do you do for a bat moment? Chris, I'm
- 11:26Speaker 5: civil engineer.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I just use my speah. Yeah, we'll yell cruss.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff, all right, Chris, bad first or the

- 11:39Speaker 3: it does. All Chris is love. Then l you're in
- 11:42Speaker 3: the drawer, Chris, we'll hand you over to Pugs. All right.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Speaking of chriss Jase, and I'm not joking. You do
- 11:50Speaker 3: have a bit of pie crust just below you? Yeah?
- 11:54Speaker 5: Have you not got a would you rather for uskey?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Well, you've been dissing them, so I stopped.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Do you want now?
- 11:59Speaker 3: I'm ok? Yeah?
- 12:02Speaker 7: Ah?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Would you rather only be able to get about using
- 12:06Speaker 3: roller blades or on skis? Ah? God, it's a share
- 12:12Speaker 3: of that one, isn't it.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Yeah, it's it's not even worthy.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Which one would you do? Though? Roller blades? Rollerblades? Jason? Oh,
- 12:19Speaker 3: my ankles are a bit dodgy in this scenario. You've
- 12:22Speaker 3: got the best ankles in the world. Brother, Okay, So
- 12:25Speaker 3: I've got the best ankles.
- 12:26Speaker 5: I go skis.
- 12:28Speaker 3: It's gonna ski everywhere.
- 12:30Speaker 1: What the hohod Archy Big Show week days from four
- 12:35Speaker 1: on Radio hold Ark Foo Fighters.
- 12:37Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hold Archy Big Show this Sursday afternoon.
- 12:40Speaker 5: The time is four forty eight.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Someone having a real go at us on the old
- 12:43Speaker 2: text machine there for l's three four A three.
- 12:44Speaker 3: It's getting quite personal, isn't it. Yeah?
- 12:46Speaker 5: Isn't it?
- 12:47Speaker 4: We might read those out after five? But people have
- 12:49Speaker 4: been sending in insults about us. And if you've got
- 12:51Speaker 4: any more about any of us. We've covered all three of.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Us as for that.
- 12:55Speaker 4: No, no, okay, so we'll read some of those out
- 12:58Speaker 4: after five. Ah, got a bit of a question. I've
- 13:01Speaker 4: got to ask for your advice, not so much, you, kyzy,
- 13:04Speaker 4: but you can listen if you want.
- 13:05Speaker 3: And chipping.
- 13:08Speaker 4: I find it weird. So I've got you know, guys,
- 13:10Speaker 4: I've got a daughter, if I told you about that, Yes, she's.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Five years old, and I find it weird the way
- 13:16Speaker 3: other people treat her and treat her when you're around.
- 13:20Speaker 3: So I went to a cafe and this happens a lot,
- 13:24Speaker 3: not necessarily going to a cafe, but this thing here
- 13:27Speaker 3: I'm about to tell you. And you sit there and
- 13:29Speaker 3: you might order a fluffy for example, yes, which is
- 13:33Speaker 3: just hot milk. No, it's just the foam, it's a right, yeah,
- 13:37Speaker 3: no hot milk. That's another resue.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Keesy, don't get me started, right, And often the white
- 13:42Speaker 4: staff will just bowl up and they'll just say, oh,
- 13:45Speaker 4: would you like some chocolate or would you like some
- 13:49Speaker 4: jelly beans? Or would you like a chocolate fish? Or
- 13:50Speaker 4: would you like some marshmallows. But they're not asking me
- 13:54Speaker 4: as the parent, they're asking my five year old daughter. Yes,
- 13:57Speaker 4: and I can tell you the answer is always yes
- 14:02Speaker 4: and never say no to that. But it puts you
- 14:04Speaker 4: in an awkward position as a parent. And some people
- 14:07Speaker 4: out there we listening to me thinking what a suky lalah.
- 14:10Speaker 4: But for us, we don't like giving our kid sweet
- 14:13Speaker 4: stuff because then she absolutely maxes out and then ends
- 14:17Speaker 4: up in attentrum on the floor when she recovers from
- 14:19Speaker 4: the sugar crash. So what would prefer is that if
- 14:22Speaker 4: people of white stuff or whoever asked us as a
- 14:26Speaker 4: parent and then we made the call.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Sure they don't they ask it directly? What's your vibe
- 14:30Speaker 3: on that? Yes?
- 14:31Speaker 2: No, I think are they going to do that? They
- 14:34Speaker 2: should ask the parents first and quietly and gently thank you.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Quite quite often they don't even ask no, you know
- 14:42Speaker 2: what I mean. They'll just that'll just be on the fluffy,
- 14:45Speaker 2: you know what. It'll be a fluffy with marshmallows all
- 14:49Speaker 2: over it sort of thing. My girls love that stuff.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they loved it.
- 14:53Speaker 3: And it's an amazing thing to watch because you.
- 14:55Speaker 4: Can see you can see the addiction right, yes, because
- 14:59Speaker 4: you know that she is super addictive. But you can
- 15:01Speaker 4: see yourself in the cab, except instead of Siggi's and
- 15:06Speaker 4: bears and whatever else you might be able to think of.
- 15:09Speaker 3: It's sugar, man, well, and they love.
- 15:12Speaker 2: The other issue is this, of course, is that if
- 15:17Speaker 2: they go to a cafe and they don't get that,
- 15:21Speaker 2: they go, where's my marshmallow?
- 15:23Speaker 3: You know what I meant, expectations.
- 15:26Speaker 5: I need my marshmallow.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah it's so sweet.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Yeah, come on, man, absolutely jonesing for the sweet stuff.
- 15:35Speaker 4: But yeah, I do find it interesting. But I know
- 15:36Speaker 4: there's probably people out there that just think, oh, I
- 15:39Speaker 4: I don't care how much I don't care what you
- 15:41Speaker 4: feed my kid up.
- 15:42Speaker 2: What would what would often happen with our girls is
- 15:44Speaker 2: they go to the grandparents and the grandparents feed them
- 15:47Speaker 2: up with sugar and they just be like a sack
- 15:49Speaker 2: full of sugar, and then they get them all hyped
- 15:52Speaker 2: up and then they drop them off again. That's why,
- 15:54Speaker 2: you know, you know how people talk about I love
- 15:56Speaker 2: being a grandparent, because they get back on their kids.
- 15:58Speaker 3: It's disgraced.
- 15:59Speaker 2: They they pump them up with sugar, they get them
- 16:02Speaker 2: hyped up, they get them freaking out, and then they
- 16:04Speaker 2: drop them back home.
- 16:05Speaker 4: My mother turns up for a holiday and she comes
- 16:10Speaker 4: with a suitcase full of chocolate. Yeah, she never you
- 16:13Speaker 4: know what she told me that she used to do
- 16:15Speaker 4: when we were kids. If she had chocolate, she would
- 16:17Speaker 4: go to the toilet and lock the doors and she
- 16:19Speaker 4: would eat the chocolate in the air so that we
- 16:22Speaker 4: wouldn't get any.
- 16:25Speaker 1: The whole Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 16:29Speaker 1: and Keezy.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Birosmith there on the radio. Holdankee Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Plenty going on after five o'clock, including a double pass
- 16:37Speaker 2: giveaway to one of the greatest rock bands in the world.
- 16:40Speaker 3: That's right, that coming to New Zealand and that after five.
- 16:43Speaker 3: It's really exciting, isn't it. Are we announcing that? I
- 16:45Speaker 3: think breaking news, breaking news, Yeah, after five apparently no
- 16:50Speaker 3: one knows about it, and we're announcing it.
- 16:52Speaker 4: One of my favorite bands, yeah when I was when
- 16:55Speaker 4: I was grown up.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Man, hugely instrumental and you know many rock bands today
- 17:00Speaker 3: their success and their inspiration to this band.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I'd say so, so that's going to be huge. I've
- 17:05Speaker 2: been married for twenty six years fellas and I had
- 17:07Speaker 2: a shocking revelation, oh sorry, shocking revelation over the weekend
- 17:12Speaker 2: which I want to have a little bit of a
- 17:14Speaker 2: chat about and of course would you rather your chance
- 17:17Speaker 2: to get in the jaw again?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Yeah? So much coming about through five guys.
- 17:22Speaker 1: The whole Key Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ike.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Welcome back to you as a backbones hope your Thursday
- 17:31Speaker 2: is going along very nicely. Indeed you're listening to the
- 17:34Speaker 2: Big Show brought to you by Night.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Day.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Hey, olympicause has already started. Fellas the old football there
- 17:51Speaker 2: Portugal versus Japan. Well, no, not Portugal someone, No, it's
- 17:55Speaker 2: not you see it's some team, but Japan up by three? Okay, yeah, yeah,
- 18:01Speaker 2: what else did they do? What else is coming up
- 18:03Speaker 2: before them?
- 18:05Speaker 4: Rugby sevens started? Yeah, that started the New Zealand men.
- 18:10Speaker 4: They are already through to the quarterfinals.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Jason, Oh well.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Okay, it's extraordinary. You were saying, what were you saying.
- 18:16Speaker 3: To the skateboarding there at the Olympics. Yep, knuckle bone
- 18:21Speaker 3: break dancing by breakdancing, that's right, it's the skateboarding was
- 18:24Speaker 3: at the Tokyo Olympics. Right, breakdancings at the Olympics, because
- 18:27Speaker 3: it's massive in Paris. You don't like it?
- 18:30Speaker 5: No, I don't.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Well what I mean.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I can break dance, Don't get me wrong, I'm wicked
- 18:34Speaker 2: at it. But I'm just saying, just doesn't feel like
- 18:37Speaker 2: an Olympic kind of sport to me.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Why but I don't know, just pretty old fashioned. Beg yourself.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Come on, that's pretty people dancing gymnastics. No, well that's got,
- 18:49Speaker 3: you know, other things going on the front. Mate. What
- 18:54Speaker 3: about what's that coordinated swimming thing? When that's dancing? Yeah?
- 18:58Speaker 3: That is so good can be.
- 19:01Speaker 4: We've got a campaign to bring the men's version of
- 19:04Speaker 4: that back because that was good eating viewing, oh viewing?
- 19:09Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 19:10Speaker 5: What the means synchronized swimming?
- 19:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 19:12Speaker 5: Yeah cool? I tell you what.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Looking forward to the Olympics and getting into that over
- 19:16Speaker 2: the weekend a breakdowancing, yeah, I'm not going to do that,
- 19:19Speaker 2: or the skateboarding and apparently surfing as well. What's that
- 19:22Speaker 2: about white stopping?
- 19:23Speaker 3: So old fashioned me? What about if they did like
- 19:26Speaker 3: a video Games Olympics that would.
- 19:29Speaker 2: That would get so deep inside my gate? I don't
- 19:31Speaker 2: know that I could control myself.
- 19:32Speaker 4: What about if they get a rock that weighs about
- 19:36Speaker 4: three killows and they have to hold under their chin
- 19:38Speaker 4: and then they push it as far as I can.
- 19:40Speaker 3: That's sort of like pretty cool.
- 19:43Speaker 5: That'd be awesome.
- 19:45Speaker 4: They get it, found it right around disk and you
- 19:48Speaker 4: throw that as far as you can, but you don't
- 19:50Speaker 4: do that anywhere else in your life.
- 19:51Speaker 5: That'd be so good.
- 19:52Speaker 3: What about if you like get some people they do
- 19:54Speaker 3: like a big run up and then they do a
- 19:56Speaker 3: hop and then another hop and then they jump into
- 19:58Speaker 3: some sand. That sounds awesome. What if there's like a
- 20:03Speaker 3: guy sprinting and then he throws like a stick really.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Fat, That is awesome?
- 20:10Speaker 3: So good? Hey, Hey, Speaking of which, here's.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Guerrillas the Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 20:17Speaker 1: and Keisy.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Red Hot Chili Peppers there on the radio Adaki Big
- 20:22Speaker 2: Show this Thursday evening.
- 20:25Speaker 3: So good man, you love I'm good you sure men?
- 20:30Speaker 3: Dopey you are? You're sort of like, yeah, no, I'm
- 20:33Speaker 3: not as sharp as I usually. Why do you think
- 20:35Speaker 3: that is? I think it's because my mind is on
- 20:37Speaker 3: beer Vana, which is happening in a month's time down
- 20:41Speaker 3: in a Wellington. And I was gonna say down in August,
- 20:46Speaker 3: in August, yeah, twenty third, twenty fourth of August. It
- 20:49Speaker 3: is happening again at Sky Sports Stadium. It is presented
- 20:51Speaker 3: by lecland if you would like tickets for you and
- 20:54Speaker 3: to make to get down there, get amongst the you
- 20:56Speaker 3: take your pick of the three hundred different beers that
- 20:57Speaker 3: will be on offer Hodaki dot co dot insa that
- 21:00Speaker 3: includes accommodation as well tickets to the gig and of
- 21:04Speaker 3: course flights.
- 21:05Speaker 2: And you just go. You love it down there, don't you, Keysy,
- 21:07Speaker 2: You just go from stall to stare.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the general idea.
- 21:10Speaker 5: Yeah, you can try them out. It's like your nirvana,
- 21:12Speaker 5: it's like your your.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Paradise, sure is Jason?
- 21:16Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, fellas, I had a shocking revelation over the weekend.
- 21:21Speaker 2: As you know, I've been married and happily so for
- 21:25Speaker 2: many many years, Maggie.
- 21:26Speaker 3: How many is it? Twenty six?
- 21:28Speaker 5: Thanks man, thank you twenty six years.
- 21:31Speaker 3: And in that time.
- 21:37Speaker 2: It's always been my belief that we share the same
- 21:39Speaker 2: tastes and I think my wife feels the same way.
- 21:45Speaker 2: And what I mean by that is we like the
- 21:46Speaker 2: same things.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Does she like filthy caps as well?
- 21:48Speaker 2: Oh?
- 21:49Speaker 3: Does she like cheeseballs?
- 21:52Speaker 5: Like we just settle down.
- 21:58Speaker 2: That we have the same tastes and things, you know,
- 22:00Speaker 2: like houses and things like that. And recently, as you recall,
- 22:05Speaker 2: we got our fireplace taken out, so there's a big
- 22:07Speaker 2: gaping hole in the corner of our lounge now, and
- 22:11Speaker 2: just our lounge in general, and our sun little sun lounge.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Because you've got two lounges, needs a bit of shushing up,
- 22:18Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying, Mogi. And so we were in, Hey,
- 22:20Speaker 5: let's go.
- 22:21Speaker 3: I ask you, yes, whose idea was it? The shushing up? Mine?
- 22:25Speaker 3: Ha ha, you little.
- 22:29Speaker 8: And so I said, I suggested to my wife that
- 22:33Speaker 8: we go. God, I suggested to my wife that we
- 22:41Speaker 8: go shopping, you know, and not in your sort of
- 22:45Speaker 8: Bunnings and all that sort of crap, because that's just
- 22:47Speaker 8: all boring stuff antiques.
- 22:49Speaker 3: And things like that. She said, that's a really nice idea.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Unfortunately, we don't have the markets like you have in Europe.
- 22:56Speaker 5: You know.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I watched a lot of antique shows and they have
- 22:58Speaker 2: these great old mark kits. Well you can just we
- 23:01Speaker 2: don't really have that, so you just have to go
- 23:02Speaker 2: to sort of pokey antique shops. And I saw some
- 23:05Speaker 2: stuff that I really loved, for example, Tiffany lamps. You
- 23:09Speaker 2: know what, Tiffany lamps are fellows.
- 23:11Speaker 3: They're like the big I've seen them. They've got like
- 23:13Speaker 3: an overhanging mushroom shape. Yes, And it's made with different
- 23:16Speaker 3: panes of different colors of glass.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, which I think is really lovely.
- 23:20Speaker 2: And I went into one antique shop and there were
- 23:22Speaker 2: four of the bastards. I went there were four of
- 23:25Speaker 2: the bastards there, and I went, wow, these are beautiful.
- 23:29Speaker 2: And I said to my wife, what do you think
- 23:31Speaker 2: of those? And she said, are you serious?
- 23:33Speaker 5: Wow? And I went, well, yes, I am serious. What's
- 23:37Speaker 5: wrong with those? And she said, I can't believe you
- 23:40Speaker 5: like those?
- 23:40Speaker 3: They are so ugly. For the record, I quite like
- 23:43Speaker 3: Tiffany lamps. Yeah, thanks man. That classic.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'm actually quite relieved to hear that. I talked to
- 23:48Speaker 2: my daughter about it. She thought it was the most
- 23:49Speaker 2: hysterically funny things he's ever heard. I like Japanese art fellas,
- 23:55Speaker 2: particularly nudes.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Yes, nudes. I love my art.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Yeah. I like my walls to be covered in art.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I'm a very big fan of your your friend, the
- 24:04Speaker 2: photographer Richards.
- 24:07Speaker 3: For example.
- 24:08Speaker 5: I got and some other New Zealand artists and I.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Found his name is Dick Thirsty.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Also also, you know, like all these beautiful Japanese nudes.
- 24:20Speaker 3: He was like, are you serious far out?
- 24:22Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, man, I'm totally serious that
- 24:26Speaker 2: this is my kind of thing.
- 24:27Speaker 3: So are you trying to figure out who's got the
- 24:30Speaker 3: bitter taste or who's actually got good taste? Are you
- 24:33Speaker 3: worried that you have bad taste?
- 24:34Speaker 2: Well, I'm just shocked that she thinks my taste is
- 24:37Speaker 2: so terrible and that I thought we had the same
- 24:40Speaker 2: tastes and everything.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Right, we should we do something to maybe figure out
- 24:44Speaker 3: whether or not you've actually got good taste.
- 24:45Speaker 5: Sure, man, what in the next break you in?
- 24:49Speaker 3: That's a good idea. Did you feel right at home
- 24:51Speaker 3: at the antique store? Well, I just mean like I
- 24:57Speaker 3: love the men.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I do like antique stores because a lot of
- 25:00Speaker 4: things and antique stores have got you know, dust all
- 25:02Speaker 4: over them.
- 25:03Speaker 3: You've got Deandra all over your shoulders.
- 25:07Speaker 1: The Whodiking being shown podcast.
- 25:09Speaker 2: The Cult there on the radio Hodankee Big Show this
- 25:13Speaker 2: Thursday afternoon. The time was twenty four minutes past five o'clock.
- 25:16Speaker 2: We were talking in the previous voice break about how,
- 25:19Speaker 2: after twenty six years of marriage, my wife and I realize.
- 25:23Speaker 3: That we have very different taste and interior design.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yes, and it's amazing to me that it's taking us
- 25:29Speaker 2: twenty six years to figure that out.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Well, you know, you've probably been tricked and guess lit
- 25:34Speaker 4: because the same thing happens to me. You know, I
- 25:35Speaker 4: bought some mart last week and my wife said, oh
- 25:38Speaker 4: my god, that's going to look so good at your office.
- 25:42Speaker 3: I love that so good. So she's complimenting me and
- 25:46Speaker 3: at the same time just guiding me out of the
- 25:48Speaker 3: house so she doesn't have to look at it. Yeah,
- 25:51Speaker 3: my wife says, you can put that up in your
- 25:52Speaker 3: in your garage.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, your man exactly cool.
- 25:56Speaker 4: The best one when was my wife sent me a
- 25:58Speaker 4: photo of a piece of art. She said, what do
- 26:00Speaker 4: you think about that? I said, I hate it? And
- 26:03Speaker 4: now it's in our lounge. Yes, a huge piece.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Yes, I actually think this is quite an issue. Actually
- 26:09Speaker 2: it is for men and women, you know, the different tastes,
- 26:12Speaker 2: because I've heard that story a lot.
- 26:14Speaker 3: So what we're going to try to do now is
- 26:15Speaker 3: figure out whether it's Jason has bad taste or his wife. Okay,
- 26:18Speaker 3: you will do that by you designing your dream lounge.
- 26:20Speaker 3: All right, Okay, how hot here it is. Okay, I'll
- 26:24Speaker 3: ask you the question.
- 26:24Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, sure.
- 26:26Speaker 3: First of all, do you want wallpaper or paint? And
- 26:28Speaker 3: what color paint? Okay?
- 26:31Speaker 5: Um, and I would go bay leaf.
- 26:35Speaker 3: It's a green, yes, like your kitchen.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Or Maurice wallpaper? Oh Morris, I like wallpaper okay, okay,
- 26:43Speaker 5: but yeah now I like all lock in bay leaf green?
- 26:46Speaker 3: Yes? Painted? What kind of flooring do you want carpet
- 26:49Speaker 3: or do you want like wooden floor?
- 26:50Speaker 2: I want wooden, shiny floors with lovely afghan rugs.
- 26:55Speaker 4: For me, I'll have no rugs. The floor will be mirrors.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Right. Okay, So actually that's my next question. Are you
- 27:04Speaker 3: running a rug?
- 27:05Speaker 5: Yes? I thought so, several rugs.
- 27:08Speaker 3: It looks so unnaturally.
- 27:09Speaker 5: Now it does amazed. Actually, you guys haven't cottoned onto
- 27:13Speaker 5: that earlier?
- 27:14Speaker 3: Right? Hey?
- 27:15Speaker 5: Cap? You wonder why I wear a cap?
- 27:18Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, Next question, do the curtains match the rug?
- 27:24Speaker 5: No?
- 27:24Speaker 3: Curtains? Yes? Right? Blind?
- 27:28Speaker 5: Blind blind?
- 27:29Speaker 3: Right? Okay? Yeah? Fireplace?
- 27:31Speaker 5: Well no, because we just got it.
- 27:33Speaker 3: This is your dream. Absolutely, isn't that interesting? You ripped
- 27:38Speaker 3: it out, you put a heat pumping, but in your
- 27:39Speaker 3: dream lounge you'd have a fireplace. Yes, that's really sad.
- 27:44Speaker 3: Would you have TV?
- 27:46Speaker 5: Yes?
- 27:47Speaker 3: Mounted? Yes? Yeah? What a tree?
- 27:50Speaker 4: Have you got it on a cabinet at the moment?
- 27:52Speaker 3: Yes? Would you have any artwork?
- 27:56Speaker 2: My walls are covered and out nudes, right, Japanese New
- 28:02Speaker 2: Zealand photographers dust dust?
- 28:06Speaker 3: Have you got any of Dick Thurston stuff? I'm a
- 28:09Speaker 3: big fan of deck I thought so. And you're running
- 28:13Speaker 3: a rug. Would you have some fature like seats and
- 28:18Speaker 3: neck couches? Well?
- 28:19Speaker 5: Absolutely, two couches, dark leather.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Oh, now tell me about that, because i'd I always
- 28:25Speaker 4: go for an L shape.
- 28:26Speaker 3: I need to be able to lie down.
- 28:27Speaker 6: No.
- 28:28Speaker 3: No, you're sitting up on your couch, are you?
- 28:29Speaker 2: Well, no, you can have a long couch, but I
- 28:31Speaker 2: wouldn't have an L shaped couch. I'd have two separate couches.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Right right. Would you have any lamps?
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yes, Tiffany lamps in one corner and a Tiffany lamp
- 28:40Speaker 2: on another corner.
- 28:41Speaker 4: You don't need two couches now because your wife's left you?
- 28:46Speaker 3: Uh six wing?
- 28:48Speaker 5: No bedroom?
- 28:50Speaker 3: Right?
- 28:50Speaker 5: No?
- 28:51Speaker 3: No, no, it would be in the bedroom. Right, I say,
- 28:54Speaker 3: you get rid of the need for a bedroom. Put
- 28:55Speaker 3: the six wing on the lamp.
- 28:56Speaker 5: Well, what I could do is put a hook up
- 28:59Speaker 5: so that I.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Could use it in Oh that's yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 29:03Speaker 3: And would you have like a man because it's quite handy,
- 29:05Speaker 3: especially when there's test cricket on.
- 29:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Sure, You've got to be flexible with the sex wing totally.
- 29:11Speaker 3: So you put all that together and you can envisage
- 29:14Speaker 3: what I think is a pretty gross looking lounge. But
- 29:18Speaker 3: it's got Jas written all over it, man, it does.
- 29:21Speaker 3: It's nice to know that he is running a rug
- 29:22Speaker 3: as well. I've been wondering that for agents.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Are you are you signing with my wife?
- 29:25Speaker 3: Gezy? Is that what you're saying? I always yeah, I'm
- 29:28Speaker 3: definitely sidling with your wife.
- 29:30Speaker 4: I love the sound of it, Jas, thank you man,
- 29:32Speaker 4: all of it, all of it. I love all the
- 29:35Speaker 4: wolves covered an art, yes, and I love the fire.
- 29:39Speaker 3: I don't know about the blinds. I prefer a very
- 29:41Speaker 3: heavy drape.
- 29:42Speaker 5: Okay, I'm open to that.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Okay, all right, we'll work on that.
- 29:50Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Tune in on radio.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Have you danger there on the radio Hodaki Big Show? Yes,
- 30:01Speaker 2: I've never heard it before. That is a ripper, man,
- 30:03Speaker 2: It's absolutely cracky.
- 30:04Speaker 3: They it's absolutely crackers. But wait, this is breaking news.
- 30:13Speaker 5: Is there any slow on the uptack?
- 30:16Speaker 4: You should just say just waits, guys, we're all on
- 30:19Speaker 4: the same team here.
- 30:20Speaker 3: There is breaking news though there is. One of the
- 30:23Speaker 3: greatest rock bands in the history of music is coming
- 30:26Speaker 3: to altod Or. All right, two shows, one in Auckland
- 30:30Speaker 3: one and Wellington, presented by Radio Hdarchy.
- 30:33Speaker 5: And what a boon for us, by the way, huge boon.
- 30:36Speaker 3: This is one of the greatest thing kduk He's ever
- 30:38Speaker 3: pulled off. I reckon, we've pulled off a lot.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Mate.
- 30:44Speaker 3: If you would like tickets to go and see this
- 30:46Speaker 3: particular band in either Wellington or Auckland, call now on
- 30:48Speaker 3: eight hundred Hadarky. We are talking about the one the
- 30:52Speaker 3: only alien Ant Farm, absolutely huge band.
- 30:59Speaker 4: When I was growing up, I think it was mid
- 31:00Speaker 4: twenties when they came out and I had somehow managed
- 31:04Speaker 4: to get the album and they had a few that
- 31:07Speaker 4: their first album is great.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I love it. Anthology. Yeah, that's word ever mind for me.
- 31:13Speaker 4: And so the first single they released was Movies and
- 31:18Speaker 4: it just disappeared off the face of the earth. Right,
- 31:20Speaker 4: did absolutely nothing, never charted, did nothing. Then they did
- 31:24Speaker 4: smooth Criminal the cover of Smooth Criminal, Huge Smash Hit.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Did they cover that? I thought it was absolutely huge
- 31:30Speaker 4: smash Hat. Then they re released movies Huge Hit, Huge
- 31:37Speaker 4: Smash Hit after that, but Smooth Criminal was the one
- 31:40Speaker 4: that put them on the mat. I remember seeing an
- 31:42Speaker 4: interview with the lead singer and him saying, look, we're
- 31:45Speaker 4: just gonna do this album and then we're going to
- 31:47Speaker 4: take a break because we are everywhere at the moment,
- 31:49Speaker 4: so we're going to take a break because we don't
- 31:50Speaker 4: want people to get sick of us, and then we'll
- 31:52Speaker 4: come back later. And that was the last I ever
- 31:54Speaker 4: heard of them. But that first album is a ripper.
- 31:59Speaker 4: There was a second album called.
- 32:00Speaker 3: True ant Truant.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right, true what I've done, you see, that's
- 32:07Speaker 4: all their album covers.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Fantastic like that. I do like that and just want
- 32:12Speaker 3: to reiterate that. For me, they are one of the
- 32:13Speaker 3: greatest bands, bit harder, better than the Beatles. Beatles probably
- 32:18Speaker 3: three Stones Stones are second for me, Pearl Jam probably fourth,
- 32:22Speaker 3: maybe fifth.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Pearl Jam second for me, But yeah, yeah I would
- 32:26Speaker 4: if you haven't listened to that, that fiercely album. She's
- 32:28Speaker 4: a gym in a couple of Crackers on the second
- 32:30Speaker 4: album as well.
- 32:31Speaker 5: Brian, your mad Barstard? How's life there?
- 32:34Speaker 3: Not too bad? Yeah? Good on?
- 32:36Speaker 5: Your good on you mate. Yeah, you're a fan of
- 32:38Speaker 5: the band, obviously.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Yeah. The greatest rock band that's ever existed.
- 32:43Speaker 5: Well, I think so. I don't think that's overstating it.
- 32:46Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 32:47Speaker 2: I mean, I see there, I see there, Brian, you're
- 32:49Speaker 2: in Auckland till you go to the Auckland gig.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the one brother.
- 32:53Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I'll tell you what those tickets are yours?
- 32:55Speaker 3: Man? Oh, you're top.
- 32:58Speaker 5: No worries.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Stay on the line, Brian and Pugs in studio b
- 33:04Speaker 2: We'll look after you.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Hey, we've got Mike on the line. Mike. Howre you going?
- 33:09Speaker 5: Hey on?
- 33:10Speaker 3: Good? Thanks? Oh that's good Mike. I see that you're
- 33:12Speaker 3: from Pyra or mate. You up for a journey down
- 33:13Speaker 3: to Wellington?
- 33:15Speaker 5: Oh mate, if I hate Yeah, I see them down
- 33:18Speaker 5: in Wellington, absolutely closer.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Made I go to Wellington for them.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Well, we just gave away the Auckland pass, so you're
- 33:26Speaker 3: going to have to take the the Wellington one. Is
- 33:27Speaker 3: that all? Good? Man? Hey, I'm there all day mate, bloody,
- 33:31Speaker 3: Oh he's there. All day. All right, Mike, you's down
- 33:33Speaker 3: on the line. Pug's on a hook you up, mate.
- 33:35Speaker 5: Yeah good. I'm just trying to think where Pyro is.
- 33:38Speaker 5: That's quite a way.
- 33:39Speaker 3: It's a long way.
- 33:40Speaker 5: That's a long way.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 4: This has got trade meet resale written all over it.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Quite possibly, yeah, quite possibly. I'll be keen for that, man,
- 33:50Speaker 3: I'll take those tickets off you. Jace. Pyraw.
- 33:53Speaker 5: I don't know where it is.
- 33:55Speaker 3: I know antique store heaven. Oh yeah, there is about
- 33:58Speaker 3: fifteen on the main strip.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Actually, that's true.
- 34:00Speaker 2: A that's where you find all those good little antees
- 34:04Speaker 2: in small town New Zealand.
- 34:05Speaker 3: But Pyrow is like New Zealand's capital of antique stores.
- 34:08Speaker 2: In fact, I think we stopped there last summer in
- 34:10Speaker 2: that area and there's about fifty of them. What fifteen, yeah,
- 34:14Speaker 2: fifty fifty. I might say to my wife, let's go
- 34:17Speaker 2: to Pyrow this weekend.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Did get some Tiffany lamps? Yeah?
- 34:22Speaker 2: I told her that you fellas like Tiffany lamps, And
- 34:24Speaker 2: she said they're taking the pass.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Grow up by the way. This is alien ant farm
- 34:28Speaker 3: Glow aka the best song ever written from the greatest
- 34:31Speaker 3: rock band in history, The.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Whole Archy big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keys.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Indeed the Killers there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 34:40Speaker 2: this Thursday afternoon.
- 34:42Speaker 5: The time is five forty eight.
- 34:43Speaker 4: We've got some people absolutely fizzing here on the text
- 34:46Speaker 4: one three four eight three all about the times that
- 34:48Speaker 4: they've caught up with various members of the band. We've
- 34:51Speaker 4: only got time to read one out. I once bummed
- 34:53Speaker 4: into the drummer from alien Ant Farming a barred toilet
- 34:56Speaker 4: when they came to play in Auckland. He showed everyone
- 34:59Speaker 4: in the bathroom how we could stick a plastic straw
- 35:01Speaker 4: and as urethra.
- 35:02Speaker 3: What a night. That's amazing. That is actually amazing. It
- 35:06Speaker 3: is amazing to do that and then go play glow
- 35:08Speaker 3: on stage. Pretty crazy. By the way, Hudak dot co
- 35:11Speaker 3: dot nz in for more and find those two concerts
- 35:13Speaker 3: that are happening.
- 35:14Speaker 5: That would be quite.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Yeah. But anyway, I've got some breaking news we do.
- 35:21Speaker 3: This is breaking news.
- 35:23Speaker 5: That gave me a bit of that up.
- 35:25Speaker 3: That's right, it makes sense.
- 35:27Speaker 2: It just feels weird to say breaking news and then
- 35:29Speaker 2: play breaking news totally, you know.
- 35:31Speaker 3: What I mean? What's the news, Jase?
- 35:33Speaker 5: Well, apparently there's a new show coming out.
- 35:36Speaker 3: There's a show it's already started. It's on Radio Hodarchy
- 35:38Speaker 3: and it features our very own Pugs. Hey, guys, how's
- 35:44Speaker 3: it going? Good Man? Really good man?
- 35:46Speaker 6: Great show so far. Thanks loving it from studio being.
- 35:49Speaker 5: Play Pugs this music.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Please keep what you're doing. What's breaking news? You see?
- 35:53Speaker 5: We're gone beyond that now, Pugs.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Tell us about your your new show man. Oh look,
- 35:59Speaker 3: it's not really. I mean, yes, it's a show.
- 36:01Speaker 6: It's just a Sunday morning there with myself and I
- 36:04Speaker 6: like to, obviously, being your producer, plug the show as
- 36:07Speaker 6: much as I can. So I've caught it the Big
- 36:08Speaker 6: Show Omnibus.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Actually there's some imaging here. Do you want to get
- 36:12Speaker 3: around this film? It's pretty good.
- 36:19Speaker 6: It's a big show, Omnibus. How good is that? So
- 36:25Speaker 6: I play that at about six o'clock in the morning
- 36:27Speaker 6: on us. I literally just said to Premuse, I was like, hey, listen,
- 36:31Speaker 6: I play a lot of best bits of the Big
- 36:33Speaker 6: Show on on my shift. There should we get some
- 36:35Speaker 6: image imaging going? And that's what he came up with.
- 36:38Speaker 6: Just out the gate.
- 36:39Speaker 5: It's had a lot of work on it. Someone's really
- 36:43Speaker 5: worked really.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Hard on it.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Sounds sounds really polished, and someone's just taking ages on it.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Cheers man, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. So then what's the
- 36:55Speaker 3: deal do you want us to like feature? Maybe we'll
- 36:57Speaker 3: take turns and pop in a big show on about
- 37:01Speaker 3: the show as it is. Yeah.
- 37:03Speaker 6: Well, at the moment, I just pop in there on
- 37:05Speaker 6: a Sunday morning pretty early, and you know, I every
- 37:09Speaker 6: day we do the show, I take a bit from
- 37:11Speaker 6: the show that I think deserves to be reheard by
- 37:14Speaker 6: the people.
- 37:15Speaker 4: I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with that affecting our
- 37:17Speaker 4: podcast numbers.
- 37:19Speaker 2: But also I'm thinking, if you're doing that, would be
- 37:22Speaker 2: good to have one of us from the team come
- 37:24Speaker 2: in and just chat about.
- 37:25Speaker 3: It, or even just pick which bit do you think
- 37:28Speaker 3: was Yeah, that's good, that's good. I don't mind doing that.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I could be the guy that does that.
- 37:32Speaker 5: Well, yeah, that'll be good.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Actually, well you get here.
- 37:36Speaker 6: At six, well a bit before six before it starts,
- 37:39Speaker 6: well here at six, I mean.
- 37:42Speaker 3: And then I can stay through it all ten is it? Ten? Tens? Tens?
- 37:45Speaker 3: When I finish up?
- 37:46Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, look, I'd love to have you guys
- 37:48Speaker 6: pop in every now and then for a chat, not
- 37:51Speaker 6: every now and then, every Sunday, yeahday Sunday morning.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Did you co host it with son Keezy? Yeah, and.
- 38:04Speaker 3: It's called the Big Show omnibus to Show.
- 38:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree.
- 38:09Speaker 3: You're right, you've gone into the trouble of making the name.
- 38:11Speaker 3: So why don't we come and we'll co host it? Pugs.
- 38:14Speaker 3: You can operate in Studio B. There you can do
- 38:17Speaker 3: ye and you get best bits of our show and
- 38:20Speaker 3: then we'll sort of throw to them and talk about
- 38:21Speaker 3: why they were so great. Yeah. I mean, that's pretty
- 38:24Speaker 3: much what I'm doing. But I just.
- 38:25Speaker 5: Yeah, you can do that from Studio B though.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Actually, do we even need Pegs because you could probably
- 38:32Speaker 4: do everything because we don't have callers or anything.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Why aren't you ever sleeping on the weekend? Brother?
- 38:36Speaker 2: So hard Kezy can run it and you and I
- 38:41Speaker 2: will turn up every now and on the weekend.
- 38:44Speaker 3: Casey, why don't you do it?
- 38:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:45Speaker 3: Okay, but hey, we'll take the weekend off. I reckon,
- 38:48Speaker 3: big round of applause for Pugs.
- 38:52Speaker 6: Yeah, No, look forward to hearing you guys on it.

- 39:17Speaker 3: I'm just sitting here quietly.
- 39:18Speaker 5: You were rolling.
- 39:21Speaker 3: It's because the reason I roll my eyes is not
- 39:23Speaker 3: because you said the dudes because that was funny. It's
- 39:25Speaker 3: because I knew you'd both be looking at me waiting
- 39:27Speaker 3: for me to go, yeah, as good fellas. It was great.
- 39:32Speaker 4: By the way, I remember that man, Hey Peg Sam

- 46:20Speaker 4: I'd probably, I'd probably, It depends on bed the poos. Yeah,
- 46:24Speaker 4: and I'll go with Jase. Actually one whatever he said,
- 46:29Speaker 4: smell like pooh?
- 46:30Speaker 3: He said, he.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Wants to smell like I want to smell like poo
- 46:32Speaker 4: as opposed to smelling that the whole day. How bad
- 46:34Speaker 4: you don't, how bad poos get you do?
- 46:36Speaker 3: Steamers?
- 46:36Speaker 5: Yeah, well imagine smelling Keshann steamers all day.
- 46:42Speaker 4: But you don't mind that because they smell it's your own.
- 46:45Speaker 4: That's probably the hardest one we've had yet about you.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I'd probably be able to smell poo myself so that
- 46:52Speaker 3: I don't stink every where I go. Do you smell?
- 46:56Speaker 3: That's a good question if it is your own poo.
- 47:00Speaker 5: If you if you're in the bath, you wafted them
- 47:02Speaker 5: up towards you.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Sorry, I think Jason is asking a different question. Mike,
- 47:06Speaker 3: you're trying to figure out that, would you rather weird?
- 47:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just segueing off the general premise.
- 47:15Speaker 3: Well, yeah, everybody does think I don't do yours though bath.
- 47:19Speaker 3: If you do that, I just cover my name. Sorry,
- 47:22Speaker 3: you guys both take baths. We burned in it.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Man, absolutely right, crash the old bulls together there for
- 47:30Speaker 2: as the.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Whole Archy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 47:36Speaker 2: And Kizy Silmanella dub there on the radio. Hold Archy
- 47:39Speaker 2: Big Show this Thursday evening. Let's Talk TV shall we
- 47:46Speaker 2: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 47:52Speaker 7: Yeah, Yeah, that was pretty good.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Actually, that was really good.
- 48:08Speaker 5: That's pretty good.
- 48:08Speaker 3: That was really good.
- 48:11Speaker 4: My wife, My wife had never seen the movie Heat,
- 48:17Speaker 4: directed by Michael Mann, with one of the all time
- 48:20Speaker 4: great cast Al Pacino, Robert de Niero, Val Kilmer, Tom Sizemore,
- 48:27Speaker 4: John Voight, Natalie Portman. There's more unbelievable and more and more.
- 48:35Speaker 4: It is one of the greatest films ever made. Easy
- 48:39Speaker 4: top ten, easy, top ten. Just brilliant actors, really great
- 48:44Speaker 4: action sequences. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I think
- 48:47Speaker 4: it was on Disney. It's from the nineties, nineties. Yeah,
- 48:51Speaker 4: he's making a sequel to it now, Michael Man, which
- 48:53Speaker 4: will sort of ruin the memory of it. An old
- 48:56Speaker 4: just classic, magnificent stories, how just and having Pacno and
- 49:02Speaker 4: de Nio all, every single one of them, every little look,
- 49:05Speaker 4: every little turn, is just unbelievably great. Notoriously, Michael mandoz
- 49:11Speaker 4: around about eighty to one hundred takes per shot, which
- 49:16Speaker 4: would just be a massive, massive wound, especially when most
- 49:19Speaker 4: of his films are boring as hell.
- 49:21Speaker 3: What else is he directed that would DeJoy me? Yeah?
- 49:24Speaker 4: Last of the Mohicans black Hat. Yeah, a bunch of
- 49:30Speaker 4: especially in the later years, is just noble public enemies
- 49:33Speaker 4: with Johnny Depp, which was turgid, right.
- 49:37Speaker 2: I watched on Disney coincidentally last night, Mowgi because my
- 49:41Speaker 2: daughter was in town. We had to find something kind
- 49:44Speaker 2: of you know that you all agreed, I all agreed
- 49:49Speaker 2: upon you. That's a way of putting a keysy. And
- 49:52Speaker 2: it's really bizarre because my daughter, whenever she's come over
- 49:55Speaker 2: the last couple of years and we watch a movie together,
- 49:58Speaker 2: it always it's HILARI It's because my wife and my
- 50:01Speaker 2: daughter and I will be watching it and there's always.
- 50:03Speaker 5: Massive sex scenes.
- 50:05Speaker 2: And it became a running joke with us that every
- 50:07Speaker 2: movie we watched together is just these and one of
- 50:11Speaker 2: them was like full on aggressive male love making. So
- 50:16Speaker 2: we went with a movie called Empire of Light with
- 50:19Speaker 2: the incredible Olivia Coleman.
- 50:23Speaker 5: Let me just say this about her.
- 50:25Speaker 2: I think she's a really good actor, no question, But
- 50:29Speaker 2: I just feel like she's a little bit overhyped.
- 50:33Speaker 5: That's just my view.
- 50:34Speaker 2: I think she's really good, but I don't think she's
- 50:37Speaker 2: that good as people sort of Yeah, she hears one
- 50:41Speaker 2: an oscar and she Hears a very good actress. It's
- 50:43Speaker 2: basically a story of a cinema and she works. She
- 50:47Speaker 2: works at the cinema, and she's got massive mental health issues.
- 50:52Speaker 3: She's on lithium.
- 50:53Speaker 2: She meets a guy who starts working at the cinema
- 50:57Speaker 2: and goes off the lithium, and of course it's sort
- 51:00Speaker 2: of crescendos. Were a kind of falling apart of the
- 51:04Speaker 2: main character because she's not taking her medication, and everything
- 51:08Speaker 2: imploding and exploding and then sort of healing itself again.
- 51:13Speaker 2: It's trying to be the feel good movie of the year.
- 51:16Speaker 2: It doesn't succeed.
- 51:17Speaker 3: How many buzzies out of five? Two and a half? Busy? Wow? Ah,
- 51:22Speaker 3: he gets five busies. I need to watch he because
- 51:25Speaker 3: that's a classic. I've seen a lot about it, but
- 51:26Speaker 3: I've never seen it. I watched Highway Cops last night.
- 51:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, how many buzzies out of five? Two? It's
- 51:35Speaker 3: just it's trying to be dog Squad. Yeah.
- 51:38Speaker 2: So so many shows are kiezy. Yeah, they just don't
- 51:42Speaker 2: have the narrators for it.
- 51:44Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 51:48Speaker 5: Kesey Queens of the Stone Age.
- 51:50Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodnkey Big Show this Tuesday evening. Hey, Mogy, Yeah, Bobe,
- 51:55Speaker 2: you were eating at the start of the show today
- 51:57Speaker 2: a really delicious pie.
- 51:59Speaker 5: I mean the pace looked just top quality.
- 52:02Speaker 3: What was that?
- 52:04Speaker 4: There was a little steak and cheese number that one?
- 52:06Speaker 4: Oh okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, but I was and it
- 52:08Speaker 4: was it was delicious, Yes, but I found and look,
- 52:11Speaker 4: how many pieces of steak do you find it in
- 52:12Speaker 4: a steak and cheese pie?
- 52:13Speaker 5: Well that's a good question.
- 52:14Speaker 4: Probably three four maybe if you're lucky. And one of
- 52:17Speaker 4: them was absolutely terrible. There was a real fatty, gristly basard.
- 52:22Speaker 3: And then for the rest of the pie, I'm worried
- 52:25Speaker 3: that you're going to get a bit gristy and I'm
- 52:26Speaker 3: going to get another bit. Yeah, yeah, I went outside
- 52:28Speaker 3: of that. It was delicious. Sorry, is this beer and
- 52:31Speaker 3: pie July chat?
- 52:32Speaker 5: I guess it is keesy all right?
- 52:35Speaker 1: Radio Hot Keys and Beer and Pie July.
- 52:39Speaker 2: You were also eating a delicious pie today, keesy when
- 52:42Speaker 2: I arrived at work, which, to be Frank, is an
- 52:44Speaker 2: unusual that you're eating something when I arrived.
- 52:46Speaker 5: What was that pie?
- 52:48Speaker 3: There was chicken and vegetable Jase, and it was delicious.
- 52:50Speaker 3: I to be honest. I walked in there was a
- 52:52Speaker 3: selection of pies, and I thought, if I ate the
- 52:54Speaker 3: steak and cheese, Jase will come and complain that there's
- 52:57Speaker 3: no good flavors left over. So I left it and
- 52:59Speaker 3: had the chicken vegetable. It was amazing.
- 53:02Speaker 5: I actually chicken and veg is my favorite flavor.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Well, I can see why. It was delicious.
- 53:07Speaker 5: Yeah, and it was it creamy keys.
- 53:09Speaker 3: It was creamy, Jason.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:11Speaker 5: Yeah, it was a real chicken in the keys.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Delicious big chunks that you can say. It was like
- 53:14Speaker 3: chicken breast. It was like chicken breast. It was breast,
- 53:19Speaker 3: like diced.
- 53:20Speaker 5: Up right, Okay. And it would be really weird to
- 53:23Speaker 5: have a whole breast in your pie.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, yeah, absolutely, that would be That would
- 53:28Speaker 3: be weird, Jason.
- 53:29Speaker 2: You could have two breasts in your pie and make
- 53:31Speaker 2: it a bigger pie.
- 53:32Speaker 3: That's true. It just depends on the size of the breast.
- 53:35Speaker 4: That's true. That varies too, yes, doesn't it. I see
- 53:38Speaker 4: all sorts of different sized breasts. Sure, chickens.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Hey, if you guys, have you guys text pie of
- 53:45Speaker 3: three four eight three yet and into the.
- 53:48Speaker 4: Yeah we can't and you sorry, nobody's told you this,
- 53:53Speaker 4: but you don't qualify. You're not a looudly because you're
- 53:55Speaker 4: an employee of the company, so you can't win.
- 53:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that seems like bollocks. Yeah, I feel like I
- 53:59Speaker 3: should be able to win any and ring the drawer, but.
- 54:01Speaker 5: I've had plenty of pies and beersies though. Yeah, that's
- 54:04Speaker 5: how we win.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Yeah. By the way, if you do tixs pile to
- 54:06Speaker 3: three four eight three, get yourself in the drawer there,
- 54:08Speaker 3: fill out the form, tell us a flavor of pie
- 54:10Speaker 3: you'd like to see be put into production by by
- 54:13Speaker 3: Dad's Pies, and you can also win five thousand dollars.

- 54:18Speaker 3: us underway. Here, Oh you going, how about this one? Okay?
- 54:23Speaker 3: Really as you are?
- 54:25Speaker 4: Man, come on, brother, here, come you know what there's man,
- 54:30Speaker 4: you can't stop thinking about those chicken brees.
- 54:32Speaker 5: Yeah, totally Rogan Josh Joe rogany.
- 54:37Speaker 9: That already exists, Big show podcast, your great stuff.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I reckon, what a show it's been, feelings one
- 54:53Speaker 3: of the old timers.
- 54:54Speaker 4: Man, Hey, punksn just replay that on the Omnibus on Sunday.
- 54:59Speaker 3: Brother I'll do that.
- 55:02Speaker 2: You have a sleep in Pugsan for the Omnibus on Sunday,
- 55:06Speaker 2: six o'clock in the morning.
- 55:07Speaker 3: That's right at six o'clock every Sunday, the big show
- 55:09Speaker 3: Omnibus on Hodark.
- 55:10Speaker 5: You're pretty good, So good man, what are your playing tonight?
- 55:14Speaker 4: Maybe I've heard there's this fantastic new show out called
- 55:17Speaker 4: Time Bandits on Apple TV, so I probably watched that
- 55:20Speaker 4: brought to you by Jermaine Clement, Taykawa, Ted and Old Mogi.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Did you guys did you three work together on it? Oh? Yeah,
- 55:28Speaker 3: like wow, that's crazy three producers.
- 55:32Speaker 4: I actually watched some of it last night that I
- 55:34Speaker 4: have the first episode last night, but I'll talked to
- 55:35Speaker 4: you about that tomorrow on What's on the Telly with
- 55:38Speaker 4: Old Mogi there.
- 55:39Speaker 3: So good man, so good What are you up to
- 55:41Speaker 3: Keezy tonight? My wife is home and so wow?
- 55:46Speaker 5: You so that with a tinge of disappointment and your
- 55:49Speaker 5: voice your.
- 55:49Speaker 3: No, no, no. It's quite nice because we've actually been
- 55:51Speaker 3: busy most nights and we've been missing each other, like
- 55:55Speaker 3: should have something on that night, have something on the
- 55:56Speaker 3: next night, you know a bit, and so tonight we'll
- 56:01Speaker 3: just have dinner there and then watch something and she'll
- 56:02Speaker 3: get a bit early. Then I'll go online and play
- 56:04Speaker 3: play session with Pugsana.
- 56:05Speaker 5: What do you think you'll be having for dinner?
- 56:06Speaker 3: A couple of my other mates? Uh, I think I
- 56:10Speaker 3: got out sausages for something. I don't know what we're
- 56:11Speaker 3: having with them? Yeah, what do you? What do you?
- 56:14Speaker 3: I think it's a broccoli salad with sausages and keenwa
- 56:17Speaker 3: broccoli salad. Apparently there's a new thing where you make
- 56:19Speaker 3: the salad the hero of the dish, and then the
- 56:22Speaker 3: hero of the dish, that's right, and then the meat
- 56:26Speaker 3: is like the sidekick. Yeah. I don't like that either,
- 56:29Speaker 3: do I.
- 56:29Speaker 5: We're having homemade fish and chips tonight the air front.
- 56:32Speaker 3: I can't call you that, man. And also, how do
- 56:34Speaker 3: you make a fish's when I caught? Yeah? You is
- 56:40Speaker 3: that the one you caught? Steel in your car? What
- 56:43Speaker 3: a fish? What? So that'll be fun?
- 56:49Speaker 5: And then I'm filming tomorrow morning early.
- 56:53Speaker 3: You a good sleep, man? Same?
- 56:56Speaker 5: I know I won't know you.
- 56:57Speaker 3: What are the lines? Yeah? What are you feeling? Jeez?
- 57:03Speaker 6: Man?
- 57:04Speaker 2: Now I'm going to go home and try and convince
- 57:05Speaker 2: my wife to buy a Tiffany lamp.
- 57:07Speaker 5: I've found a beauty.
- 57:08Speaker 4: I'm shocked that you were shocked that I asked you
- 57:10Speaker 4: about the time that you caught a fish steel in
- 57:12Speaker 4: your car. It's shocking to me that they were shocking
- 57:15Speaker 4: to you.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Is it.
- 57:17Speaker 5: Let's just get out of here, all right.
- 57:19Speaker 3: We'll see that up
