Taekwondo star Naiara Liñán just landed a massive 15,000 euro funding boost—up from 5,500—thanks to her standout season, including a bronze at the Mediterranean Games and silver at the Bosnia Open. It’s the biggest increase in Andorra’s new high-performance program, which now backs 150 athletes with a total of 456,346 euros this year (down from last year’s 626,106). The program also launched “Proes,” a new career guidance initiative for athletes from start to retirement.
