- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Almost Famous podcast. It's been in Lauren. Here,
- 0:09Speaker 2: it's recap part one of the Real Housewives of Rhode
- 0:12Speaker 2: Island reunion. But before we dive in, we want to
- 0:16Speaker 2: bring in a huge fan of the Real Housewives franchise,
- 0:20Speaker 2: someone who has seen it all when it comes to
- 0:22Speaker 2: the episodes and the seasons and different locations. She's watched
- 0:26Speaker 2: three reunions, she's analyzed these reunions before. It's producer Heather
- 0:34Speaker 2: who started this conversation. We don't know what she's gonna say.
- 0:37Speaker 2: She started by saying to Lauren and myself, this reunion
- 0:42Speaker 2: was unlike any other reunion in the Real Housewives franchise.
- 0:46Speaker 2: So Heather, that's the easiest way to do this is
- 0:50Speaker 2: what do you mean? Yeah?
- 0:52Speaker 3: So, what I wanted to say is, typically these reunions
- 0:57Speaker 3: are three parts. Now should they always be three parts?
- 1:00Speaker 3: I think some fans would agree with me and say
- 1:02Speaker 3: that in previous franchises they definitely didn't need to be
- 1:06Speaker 3: three parts, and we got a lot of filler stuff.
- 1:09Speaker 3: So this one only being two parts is kind of
- 1:12Speaker 3: good because we do get to the meat of a
- 1:14Speaker 3: lot of things quicker than we typically do on these reunions.
- 1:17Speaker 3: But what I will say that stuck out that was
- 1:19Speaker 3: different to me is typically in these reunions, Andy will
- 1:24Speaker 3: go to each person and we will get a highlight
- 1:28Speaker 3: reel of that person's time on the season. Then that
- 1:32Speaker 3: person will get to chit chat about you know, highs
- 1:36Speaker 3: and lows from the season and address drama in that.
- 1:39Speaker 3: We kind of got like glimmers of that and then
- 1:44Speaker 3: got like just straight into fighting, which is just not
- 1:48Speaker 3: really how we see it done on the show on
- 1:51Speaker 3: these reunions, So that was probably the biggest difference for me.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And then the.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Second thing I would say is usually the women come
- 1:59Speaker 3: our with receipts, picture, text messages, all these kinds of
- 2:06Speaker 3: things that they are ready to air out and give
- 2:10Speaker 3: full examples. So I can't wait to hear what you
- 2:13Speaker 3: guys have to say watching this. But like, for example,
- 2:16Speaker 3: that police report drama that was hinted at, like if
- 2:20Speaker 3: somebody was really serious about that, they would have had
- 2:23Speaker 3: that police report printed. They would have been like actually
- 2:27Speaker 3: and pulled it out from behind a pillow and started
- 2:29Speaker 3: to read it and show it off. So this just
- 2:32Speaker 3: kind of leaned to me a little bit like, Oh,
- 2:35Speaker 3: we're still new here. We're still the new girls on
- 2:37Speaker 3: the block. You don't really know how all of this
- 2:39Speaker 3: works just yet, but we're kind of getting there. And
- 2:43Speaker 3: then I would say my final thought was that Rula
- 2:48Speaker 3: really came to play in this reunion. It was like
- 2:51Speaker 3: a and I'm not saying a different person showed up
- 2:54Speaker 3: because of the cosmetic proceed I mean a different personality
- 2:58Speaker 3: showed up in reunion and they were clearly all shook
- 3:02Speaker 3: by how she was acting. And I'm going to say
- 3:05Speaker 3: the word acting because it felt forced and unnatural. And
- 3:10Speaker 3: those are my hot takes that nobody really cares about.
- 3:13Speaker 2: But thanks for asking, Bet, I think everybody cares about him.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Howather I do.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I wanted to say this.
- 3:18Speaker 5: I don't know if it's allowed or not, but people
- 3:22Speaker 5: did come with receipts, but they did not allow people
- 3:26Speaker 5: to show certain receipts.
- 3:28Speaker 3: That's a hot take, Lauren, Yeah, you know that.
- 3:32Speaker 4: I know this happened.
- 3:33Speaker 5: And they said like certain people were allowed to show
- 3:36Speaker 5: screenshots and others were not.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Now I wonder if is it screenshots that they were
- 3:41Speaker 3: allowed to show because they were their own, or this
- 3:44Speaker 3: is possibly getting into defamation kind of territory and they
- 3:49Speaker 3: just didn't push through that.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know the specifics on that.
- 3:52Speaker 5: I feel like some people were just like I wasn't
- 3:54Speaker 5: able to show my receipts, but others were. It probably
- 3:58Speaker 5: could be what you're saying, but I think they're may
- 4:00Speaker 5: have been playing favorites on that stage.
- 4:02Speaker 2: True, before Lauren and I dive into the breakdown of this,
- 4:05Speaker 2: because I do find the reunion fascinating and I want
- 4:11Speaker 2: to dive in a little bit more of the stuff
- 4:12Speaker 2: you said, Heather, but we'll do it when you're out
- 4:14Speaker 2: of here. One of the questions I had for you was,
- 4:18Speaker 2: you know you mentioned reunions are three parts, there's usually
- 4:22Speaker 2: some filler moments. Do you think that Bravo said, we're
- 4:26Speaker 2: not having any filler moments because we don't need it,
- 4:29Speaker 2: Like this is all so like it's so much that
- 4:31Speaker 2: we can't fill anymore.
- 4:33Speaker 3: No, I think you could definitely find filler moments. You
- 4:36Speaker 3: could find the blooper, the funny stuff. There's clearly on
- 4:40Speaker 3: air to see that. Yeah, there's clearly unaired scenes. We
- 4:43Speaker 3: got one of those in this reunion. I'm sure they've
- 4:46Speaker 3: got loads more that they could show us. I think
- 4:49Speaker 3: it's just I think it's just being a season one.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I would not be shocked if season two you get
- 4:54Speaker 3: a three part reunion. I think that it's just being
- 4:58Speaker 3: a freshman season that they maybe aren't giving that whole
- 5:02Speaker 3: thing to them.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Were there more fights in this franchise than other ones
- 5:06Speaker 5: you've seen?
- 5:08Speaker 4: Or is it pretty on par?
- 5:09Speaker 3: No, it's pretty on par I would say that, and
- 5:14Speaker 3: a lot of Bravo fans can attest to this. What
- 5:17Speaker 3: ends up happening on some of the franchises is one
- 5:22Speaker 3: storyline ends up being the talk of the entire season.
- 5:26Speaker 3: As a personal Housewives fan, I hate that. Yeah, I
- 5:31Speaker 3: love It sounds crazy to say, I love lots of
- 5:34Speaker 3: little fights throughout a whole season.
- 5:37Speaker 2: That is much more fighting, more fighting.
- 5:39Speaker 3: About different things. And that's why I used to love
- 5:42Speaker 3: New York so much because every time you tuned into
- 5:44Speaker 3: New York, there was a different fight happening. Now this
- 5:47Speaker 3: was before the recasting. That's how that show was. But
- 5:50Speaker 3: like Beverly Hills in recent seasons, has been like one
- 5:53Speaker 3: thing that happens over the entire season, which is a
- 5:56Speaker 3: snoozefest to me. Or you have things like in Salt
- 5:59Speaker 3: Lake that happened where it was like what happened on
- 6:01Speaker 3: the plane? There was a giant fight on the plane,
- 6:03Speaker 3: but there's no footage. But all we're talking about for
- 6:06Speaker 3: the rest of the season is the fight on the plane,
- 6:08Speaker 3: and there's no footage. So it's like, you also don't
- 6:10Speaker 3: want to get into that dynamic where we're fighting about
- 6:13Speaker 3: something that the audience has never seen and is never
- 6:16Speaker 3: going to see. So that's why I kind of loved
- 6:20Speaker 3: Rhode Island. We got to see it all, We got
- 6:22Speaker 3: to experience it all, and there was lots of different
- 6:26Speaker 3: things to follow.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Absolutely. I love that too.
- 6:29Speaker 5: They didn't be any situation to the ground. I think
- 6:32Speaker 5: the homelessness thing maybe well a little bit too much
- 6:34Speaker 5: for me.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I was just about to say that Lauren the bar
- 6:37Speaker 3: ride from Hell, I'm over that story of long right after.
- 6:40Speaker 4: This because it doesn't make sense.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's also just like it's a feeling, right Like
- 6:45Speaker 3: they're fighting over somebody's feeling. So there's never going to
- 6:48Speaker 3: be resolution to that because you're just talking about how
- 6:51Speaker 3: she feels one way, you see it another way. You know,
- 6:54Speaker 3: it's not an actual situation that they were both experiencing. Together. Oh,
- 7:00Speaker 3: they're always going to have differing opinions. Yeah, I think that.
- 7:04Speaker 3: What really perked my ears up was that police report chat.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I literally went ooh, I which, ben's really exciting. When
- 7:12Speaker 3: the girlies start to fight, I go ooh when I'm
- 7:17Speaker 3: that one perked me up. And then there was no
- 7:20Speaker 3: proof and neither of them had seen it, and I
- 7:23Speaker 3: was just like, no, ladies, this is not how we
- 7:26Speaker 3: do this.
- 7:26Speaker 4: That is defamation for real.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, okay, guys, I can't wait to hear what
- 7:31Speaker 3: you have to say.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Thank you, thank you so much for your inside.
- 7:44Speaker 2: All right, Lauren, you ready to dive in?
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yes, yes, I'm very excited.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Let's start with the looks. Can we start with the looks?
- 7:51Speaker 5: Sure?
- 7:51Speaker 4: So fun?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Well, anybody stand out to you specifically looking like great?
- 8:01Speaker 5: Well? I thought Liz's outfit was very cool. That's more
- 8:03Speaker 5: like my esthetic, kind of very ethereal, kind of goes
- 8:08Speaker 5: against her rough personality. Other than that, I mean, Kelsey
- 8:14Speaker 5: looked amazing. I loved her dress, also very much my style. Honestly,
- 8:18Speaker 5: everyone looked great. Would you think I.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Thought everybody looked great? They look stunnying. It's very Rhode
- 8:22Speaker 2: Island coastal theme like blues and you know these bright colors.
- 8:27Speaker 2: This set looked really cool. I really loved when they
- 8:30Speaker 2: were showing off the set and how they made that happen.
- 8:33Speaker 2: They filmed this in Rhode Island, it seemed because they
- 8:36Speaker 2: welcomed Andy to Rhode Island. Is that true?
- 8:39Speaker 4: I think they filmed it in New York.
- 8:41Speaker 2: But they were welcoming in because it looked like Rhode
- 8:44Speaker 2: Island inside. Correct, correct, Yeah, that's good. I had a
- 8:47Speaker 2: question about that because I thought I remembered actually going
- 8:49Speaker 2: to New York, and then I forget who it was.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It said, hey, Andy, welcome to Rhode Island. I said, oh,
- 8:54Speaker 2: they they did this there, but it just the set
- 8:57Speaker 2: felt very Rhode Island vibish.
- 9:00Speaker 4: It was more welcome to Rhode Island, bitch.
- 9:02Speaker 5: That's kind of yeah what it was? Yeah, Yes, everyone
- 9:05Speaker 5: looked great. Uh and Rula obviously the elephant in the room,
- 9:08Speaker 5: which they had to address up front, was her new face.
- 9:12Speaker 2: It looked good.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it looks great.
- 9:15Speaker 5: It needs time to settle for real, like it happened
- 9:19Speaker 5: like a week before.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I'm not a big plastic surgery fan. I don't like,
- 9:23Speaker 2: I don't hate against it. If you were to tell me, hey,
- 9:25Speaker 2: I'm gonna go do this, I'd say you've you know,
- 9:28Speaker 2: you've made that decision. I would never encourage it or say, hey,
- 9:33Speaker 2: somebody needs to do this right. But once it's done,
- 9:36Speaker 2: it's done. And I saw her walk in, and honestly,
- 9:40Speaker 2: I've watched every episode. I don't maybe this is just me.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I don't think I would have known if anything would
- 9:46Speaker 2: change with her.
- 9:47Speaker 4: You're a crazy person, I might be.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 9:53Speaker 5: If I wish I didn't know before because Ashley told me,
- 9:56Speaker 5: but because I was writy, But I would have screamed
- 10:00Speaker 5: when I saw her for the first time because it
- 10:01Speaker 5: was like, oh, she looks so different. I think she
- 10:04Speaker 5: looks so good, and so I'm happy that she is
- 10:06Speaker 5: happy too. I'm sure she, like she said, it's been
- 10:09Speaker 5: weighing on her for years and years and years, and
- 10:10Speaker 5: I'm sure watching herself back from different angles, like, all right,
- 10:13Speaker 5: this needs to happen immediately.
- 10:15Speaker 2: That makes sense, does Andy? Do you know? If Andy?
- 10:18Speaker 2: He does? He was a great host during this. He
- 10:21Speaker 2: is calm, He's collected, he knows what to say and
- 10:24Speaker 2: how to say. I'm understanding the Andy like hype through
- 10:30Speaker 2: this he's perfect for this job. He acts like he
- 10:32Speaker 2: cares just enough, but really doesn't care at all. He
- 10:35Speaker 2: almost just is apathetic to the response and more direct
- 10:41Speaker 2: with like what's normal behavior and what's not. He like
- 10:45Speaker 2: calls out people yes in a very like if you,
- 10:50Speaker 2: almost like condescending way, but it's not mean spirited. It's like, hey,
- 10:54Speaker 2: that's wild that you did that.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Like for sure, this dark Lord, I'm gonna keep saying
- 11:00Speaker 5: in the dark Lord. He kind of says things in
- 11:02Speaker 5: a way that you really want him to like you too,
- 11:05Speaker 5: Like everyone wants to be Andy's favorite, and if you
- 11:09Speaker 5: get him on your side, then your golden it. And
- 11:11Speaker 5: so like the way he's kind of like snarky about
- 11:13Speaker 5: it is like, oh, I need him to like me.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I need his validation.
- 11:16Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 11:17Speaker 5: That's how I would feel if I met him and
- 11:19Speaker 5: he was like critiquing everything I did on Housewives, Like
- 11:21Speaker 5: I would probably go above and beyond dramatic to have
- 11:24Speaker 5: him like me the most.
- 11:26Speaker 2: He doesn't. He doesn't. I've never seen this done in
- 11:29Speaker 2: kind of a live show. He goes around, he just
- 11:31Speaker 2: says hi to each person and then asks them a
- 11:35Speaker 2: very generic question based on the season storylines. Yeah, it
- 11:40Speaker 2: was an It's an interesting production move for him to
- 11:43Speaker 2: say warm up. Yeah, like let me get into this, Hi, Ashley,
- 11:47Speaker 2: are you crying?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Hi?
- 11:49Speaker 2: Rula like how's Brian? Like all these things and you're like, whoa, Okay.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Everyone looked great. Ashly looked fantastic. To be honest, I
- 11:59Speaker 2: don't know if we'll talk about Ashley again through this episode.
- 12:03Speaker 5: I know, I know, I'm trying to think. There was
- 12:06Speaker 5: like one thing she said. It always looked like she
- 12:09Speaker 5: was trying to say something, but the girls were cutting
- 12:11Speaker 5: her off throughout.
- 12:13Speaker 2: She just was silent. Her like little quiet comments were great.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It's kind of her role all season is to be
- 12:21Speaker 2: the quiet, like quiet commentator for us. You can tell
- 12:26Speaker 2: and then this is kind of what the conversation about, Ashley,
- 12:29Speaker 2: I want to have with you before we kick this off.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You knew her kind of mindset going into it. Did
- 12:36Speaker 2: Ashley like believe this was going to be a kind
- 12:40Speaker 2: reunion where they came together again or did she expect
- 12:43Speaker 2: it to be a complete mess? Because it felt like
- 12:47Speaker 2: the mess almost overwhelmed her. She was sitting there going,
- 12:51Speaker 2: oh my gosh, like can we stop? Can we just not?
- 12:53Speaker 2: Why are we still talking about this kind of stuff.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I think she knew it was gonna be a mess,
- 12:59Speaker 5: because the girls are talking about throughout the season, like
- 13:02Speaker 5: just wait for the reunion, just wait for the reunion.
- 13:04Speaker 5: I have this, I have that, So she knew it
- 13:06Speaker 5: was going to be a bloodbath. I think that she
- 13:09Speaker 5: was hoping to have more to get a word in
- 13:14Speaker 5: a little bit more between the fights, to like show
- 13:17Speaker 5: some kind of like stability and common sense. But obviously
- 13:20Speaker 5: it didn't really work like that, And I don't think
- 13:25Speaker 5: she was able to to like what calmed the fire,
- 13:29Speaker 5: whatever you say, because she wanted to say certain things.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Like oh no, but like remember this, remember this.
- 13:35Speaker 5: No, no one was listening to Rationale that day, So
- 13:38Speaker 5: I think she knew it.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Was gonna be terrible.
- 13:41Speaker 2: We're going to get into the individual fights that were discussed, Yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 2: but it did feel like people came in wanting to
- 13:49Speaker 2: rehash these fights without a memory of the good times. Ashley.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I think once the good times, she wants to be like, yeah,
- 13:58Speaker 2: but you remember the night we all stayed up late
- 14:00Speaker 2: at the mansion and we talked over drinks about you know,
- 14:03Speaker 2: high school crushes. How sweet was that? But it didn't
- 14:07Speaker 2: feel like anybody else wanted that Lange. They they came
- 14:12Speaker 2: in ready to break down any healing and forgiveness that
- 14:18Speaker 2: had taken place.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:20Speaker 5: I mean a reminder is they all watched the season back.
- 14:23Speaker 5: They all saw everyone's confessionals where they're so mean, So
- 14:26Speaker 5: then they're they're ready to fight with each other, like
- 14:29Speaker 5: there's some mean thing said in confessionals that no one
- 14:32Speaker 5: thought they thought of them, like even.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Like what was it like? Even like Alicia says some
- 14:40Speaker 4: mean things.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Oh, I guess like Joellen is ruthless and her confessionals too, so.
- 14:44Speaker 4: That people are coming for Joellen.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Yeah, the individual fights like they obviously go out with
- 14:49Speaker 5: Kelsey and Rosie, which I don't even think we need
- 14:52Speaker 5: to talk about anymore.
- 14:53Speaker 4: There's not gonna be friends. They don't like each other.
- 14:56Speaker 5: The craziest thing was that Joelle and Kelsey came together
- 15:00Speaker 5: and accuse Rosie again of breaking up a marriage and
- 15:03Speaker 5: sleeping with a married coach, which we've talked about before.
- 15:07Speaker 5: And they said that there was a police report that
- 15:10Speaker 5: that ru not Rula, not Kelsey, that Rosie was in
- 15:13Speaker 5: the car with him, and I just don't believe this
- 15:15Speaker 5: at all. Do you believe it at all.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Well, I mean, police reports are public records, so the
- 15:20Speaker 2: slewthers out there are gonna find it if it's true.
- 15:24Speaker 5: The reason I don't think it's true is because Rosie
- 15:27Speaker 5: wouldn't be stupid enough to say it's so not true.
- 15:31Speaker 5: And she doesn't even know him. If there was a
- 15:33Speaker 5: report out there, all she would have to say was like, yeah,
- 15:35Speaker 5: I worked with him and I was in his car,
- 15:38Speaker 5: if she knew this report was gonna come out, So
- 15:40Speaker 5: she can't be that stupid.
- 15:42Speaker 2: And I think you would know because I feel like
- 15:44Speaker 2: a friend like Ashley, Rosie would reach out to be
- 15:48Speaker 2: like Ashley, this is gonna be bad. Mm hmm, Like
- 15:52Speaker 2: it's not. I didn't sleep with him, but like as
- 15:54Speaker 2: you said, I was in his car. It doesn't look good.
- 15:58Speaker 2: There is, you know, documentation of this. But if that's
- 16:01Speaker 2: not happening, I don't believe it to be true. Which
- 16:03Speaker 2: is a great spot to kick off Lauren, because there's
- 16:06Speaker 2: a lot of hearsay and there's a lot of sticking
- 16:08Speaker 2: to the lack of facts without having an ability to listen, understand, forgive,
- 16:17Speaker 2: and to learn it's it almost I'll say this and
- 16:21Speaker 2: again probably get in trouble. Is this a Rhode Island
- 16:26Speaker 2: personality where I don't care if I'm wrong. I'm going
- 16:30Speaker 2: to die on this hill of being wrong and you're
- 16:32Speaker 2: not going to prove me any other way. I'm going
- 16:35Speaker 2: to believe the story. I believe, And it's almost like
- 16:39Speaker 2: Liz's comment early in the season. It's like I've never
- 16:41Speaker 2: been wrong. It's like, well, that's that's not true.
- 16:45Speaker 5: So true. I was just going to say. It kind
- 16:47Speaker 5: of reminds me just of Liz all over. I would
- 16:50Speaker 5: say this is a Rhode Island trait, but I don't
- 16:54Speaker 5: think Jared does this. I think Jared owns up to
- 16:56Speaker 5: his mistake, so I can't view a blanket Rhode Island
- 17:00Speaker 5: personality trait. But yeah, no, one's like being like, oh,
- 17:05Speaker 5: actually Liz does this once, which is shocking because she
- 17:08Speaker 5: was the one who said that she never makes a mistake.
- 17:10Speaker 5: But she did say I was out of line there
- 17:13Speaker 5: when I pulled your hair and I just want on
- 17:15Speaker 5: g away, and I was like, whoa Liz taking accountability?
- 17:18Speaker 5: So we love to see it there. That was the
- 17:20Speaker 5: only accountability we saw the whole time.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's uh, so, as you said, we start with
- 17:26Speaker 2: the Kelsey and Rosie scenario actually does stand up for
- 17:28Speaker 2: Rosie and says, hey, you know, she's a good friend
- 17:33Speaker 2: to me. We get into the whole idea that actually
- 17:37Speaker 2: doesn't hang out the rest of the group. That doesn't
- 17:39Speaker 2: really get spread any further because I think Ashley says,
- 17:43Speaker 2: I would love to hang out with you guys, you
- 17:45Speaker 2: just don't ask me or Hey, different places in life,
- 17:48Speaker 2: and the way I hang out with Rosie is a
- 17:50Speaker 2: way that none of you wouldn't want to hang out.
- 17:52Speaker 2: So it's not personal, it's just the way it is.
- 17:55Speaker 2: It doesn't really stretch on anymore. At this point, Ashley
- 17:59Speaker 2: is kind of removed from at least part one's drama.
- 18:01Speaker 2: She becomes a bystander, a commentator. We do continue on
- 18:07Speaker 2: with the Rosie Kelsey thing. I'm with you, it's done,
- 18:10Speaker 2: it is, and I think it's this is a good
- 18:12Speaker 2: spot to turn it to. I have a list of
- 18:14Speaker 2: the individual fights here. It's the same thing. I did
- 18:17Speaker 2: not think Alisha saying that she was homeless. Alisha going
- 18:23Speaker 2: into that she was without a home was going to
- 18:27Speaker 2: be a storyline during the reunion because it always felt like,
- 18:31Speaker 2: as Heather said, it was feelings and it's revisionist history.
- 18:36Speaker 2: It's looking back and remembering things a certain way and
- 18:38Speaker 2: your friends going that's not the case. Liz even says
- 18:42Speaker 2: like I was trying to protect you. I maybe went
- 18:44Speaker 2: overboard there, but I look back and I was just
- 18:46Speaker 2: trying to have your best interest in mind. But then
- 18:48Speaker 2: it does kind of start and spiral into this big
- 18:52Speaker 2: fight between Liz and joe Ellen. Joellen's involved in a
- 18:57Speaker 2: lot of these fights, at least the beginning of this episodisode,
- 19:00Speaker 2: it feels like we're getting a like Joellen, Heather said,
- 19:03Speaker 2: Rula came into it ready to fight. I actually would
- 19:06Speaker 2: say Joellen came into this ready to get her voice heard,
- 19:10Speaker 2: because I watched it, goodness, I just watched it two
- 19:14Speaker 2: hours ago. I can't remember all the things that they
- 19:18Speaker 2: were fighting over because it felt like it was just
- 19:20Speaker 2: back and forth all the time.
- 19:22Speaker 5: I know, I was getting confused, and I know everything
- 19:26Speaker 5: about the show behind the scenes everything. I am getting
- 19:28Speaker 5: confused here what are we fighting about? Especially with Alisha
- 19:32Speaker 5: and Liz and Joellen in the car and they were saying, yes,
- 19:37Speaker 5: that was an ambush, and I'm like, I don't how
- 19:41Speaker 5: could this be an ambush if you were in the
- 19:43Speaker 5: same like, is this just them trying not to break
- 19:46Speaker 5: the fourth ball and saying like, the producers wanted you
- 19:49Speaker 5: to talk about the homelessness again. And then Liz is
- 19:54Speaker 5: basically saying to Alisha, why would you ever agree to
- 19:57Speaker 5: them agree to talk about the homeless again if you
- 20:00Speaker 5: know what's going to make me look bad? And then
- 20:02Speaker 5: they continue talking about it. Is that what I'm getting here?
- 20:04Speaker 5: I don't understand this fight very much.
- 20:06Speaker 2: It sounds like it was a you know, if you've
- 20:10Speaker 2: been on Bachelor in Paradise, Absolutely, it sounds like it
- 20:14Speaker 2: sounds like a producer sending a text being like, hey,
- 20:16Speaker 2: in the car, I would love for you guys to
- 20:18Speaker 2: talk about this. And then obviously they're all friends and
- 20:20Speaker 2: they voice messaged each other and said, hey, we're going
- 20:23Speaker 2: to talk about this, and so they talk about it
- 20:26Speaker 2: and then it spirals out of control. Based on this
- 20:29Speaker 2: conversation being rehashed, the fight between Liz and Joellen was
- 20:33Speaker 2: never about Alicia's comments at the mansion. It was always
- 20:37Speaker 2: about something else that felt like.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Do you think that the audience, like not knowing any
- 20:41Speaker 5: background of reality TV, could understand that That's what Liz
- 20:45Speaker 5: was trying to say.
- 20:46Speaker 2: It doesn't really matter to me, Lauren, and I've always
- 20:49Speaker 2: held this stance because even if a producer tells you, hey,
- 20:54Speaker 2: talk about it, it's your decision on how you talk
- 20:58Speaker 2: about it and how far you let it go and
- 21:00Speaker 2: what you let it spiral into. It's fine if a
- 21:03Speaker 2: producer is like, hey, guys, just a memory here. You
- 21:07Speaker 2: know last week, you guys we were talking about this.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I would love for you guys talk about the car
- 21:14Speaker 2: like it's totally fine. Yeah, But it means that it
- 21:19Speaker 2: could be done in a soft way. It means it
- 21:21Speaker 2: could have been done in a way that brought togetherness.
- 21:24Speaker 2: The point is it didn't that Joellen and Liz ended
- 21:28Speaker 2: up going directly at each other and then directly at
- 21:31Speaker 2: each other again during the reunion. That just because the
- 21:34Speaker 2: topic was brought up, it doesn't mean it has to
- 21:38Speaker 2: lead to anger or mean words.
- 21:43Speaker 5: Do you think that these voice notes that they never
- 21:46Speaker 5: showed us are maybe Joellen and Alicia and Liz all
- 21:51Speaker 5: saying and agreeing, we'll talk about it, but we'll just
- 21:54Speaker 5: squash it really quick and not make a whole thing
- 21:56Speaker 5: out of it.
- 21:57Speaker 4: And it turned to be the opposite way.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Would I wouldn't be surprised. Yeah, I think so.
- 22:01Speaker 5: I needed to talk that out because I was like,
- 22:03Speaker 5: I don't know what the heck is going on over here.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Okay, yeah I don't. I think that would probably be
- 22:08Speaker 2: the path. And then it turned ugly, and it did
- 22:11Speaker 2: turn ugly, and it feels like there's a residual dislike
- 22:17Speaker 2: after this conversation. Joellen during this whole show is very
- 22:24Speaker 2: much standing her ground on the decision she made throughout
- 22:28Speaker 2: the season, and this not shocking me. In the same breath,
- 22:32Speaker 2: so is Liz. Liz at one point here feels like
- 22:36Speaker 2: she's been proven wrong in some of her takes and
- 22:40Speaker 2: again is just not able to admit it. She resorts
- 22:44Speaker 2: to calm people crazy Alisha for example, you know, calling
- 22:49Speaker 2: saying that no, she loves Alicia, like she loves to
- 22:53Speaker 2: laugh at her, like she pretty much was like, yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 2: you're you. I always will laugh when I'm around you
- 22:58Speaker 2: because of the things you say. And it felt like
- 23:01Speaker 2: we were getting a different side of list. This is
- 23:03Speaker 2: not the Liz that's the leader, not the Liz that
- 23:06Speaker 2: is the strong personality, Not the Liz that is, you know,
- 23:10Speaker 2: the host of the parties and the wealthy one from
- 23:12Speaker 2: the group. It felt, at least during the reunion, that
- 23:16Speaker 2: we got a side of Liz that I hadn't seen
- 23:19Speaker 2: all season. It was almost a I'm gonna get defensive,
- 23:24Speaker 2: and when I get defensive, I get mean and personal.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Mm hm.
- 23:29Speaker 5: And you can almost see that in her posture, like
- 23:32Speaker 5: she was like slinking down taking hits of her vape
- 23:36Speaker 5: like kind of just looked like she gave up on
- 23:38Speaker 5: a lot of this, like she's like, I'm stating on
- 23:40Speaker 5: my ground and I'm mean, and I'm saying all these
- 23:42Speaker 5: mean things and I don't really care anymore. There is
- 23:44Speaker 5: talk through the grapevine that she is probably not going
- 23:48Speaker 5: to be returning for season two because she's so over
- 23:50Speaker 5: it and she doesn't like need this drama. Yeah, and
- 23:54Speaker 5: I could see that. I mean, she's she said, she's
- 23:57Speaker 5: the oldest one there. She already feels out of place,
- 24:00Speaker 5: and maybe she's like this isn't worth it. This is
- 24:01Speaker 5: ruining like a friendship that I've had with Alisha. But
- 24:05Speaker 5: then also what I noticed was when Liz walked in,
- 24:08Speaker 5: Alicia goes, there's the Queen Bee, and it's like, ooh,
- 24:10Speaker 5: that was like really snarky of Alicia.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I don't do you think Alicia knows
- 24:17Speaker 2: she's being snarky though.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Actually, great question. I don't think so. But it was like,
- 24:22Speaker 5: Liz think she's the leader, I guess.
- 24:25Speaker 2: And in a lot of ways she is. She brings
- 24:27Speaker 2: off that vibe throughout the whole season. I think she
- 24:30Speaker 2: is the one that intimidates the group. She is the
- 24:33Speaker 2: one that if I would imagine if she sends a
- 24:35Speaker 2: group text out to everybody and says, hey, show up
- 24:38Speaker 2: to my house and at five pm everybody would be there,
- 24:41Speaker 2: whereas if Joellen did that, I don't know if anybody
- 24:44Speaker 2: would go, or maybe whoever was free and not had
- 24:47Speaker 2: other plans. It does seem like Liz holds some sort
- 24:51Speaker 2: of power over this show right now. I'd be shocked
- 24:56Speaker 2: if she doesn't come back. I think, especially with the
- 24:58Speaker 2: launch of her gummy, I would imagine that this show
- 25:02Speaker 2: is probably going to be helpful.
- 25:04Speaker 4: We'll see. I don't know.
- 25:05Speaker 5: It's not looking great. But we did see Liz in
- 25:08Speaker 5: Rula fight, which they didn't really do in the whole season,
- 25:13Speaker 5: because Rula came to fight, I guess during the reunion
- 25:19Speaker 5: and she said that Rula said that she saw Liz
- 25:23Speaker 5: like cheat on?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Is it?
- 25:25Speaker 4: Gary or Jerry that thing.
- 25:28Speaker 5: It's Jerry, Jerry, right, Jerry, I don't like years ago
- 25:31Speaker 5: or something. And I don't know why Rula would bring
- 25:34Speaker 5: that up in the situation that she's in, right, Why
- 25:37Speaker 5: would that matter?
- 25:39Speaker 1: You know?
- 25:39Speaker 2: It's I'm I'm really intrigued by a Part two, Lauren,
- 25:42Speaker 2: because you make a great point. Rula was very defensive
- 25:46Speaker 2: this whole time, pointing fingers at everybody else for their
- 25:48Speaker 2: extra marital, you know, conquests, and it almost feels like
- 25:55Speaker 2: they're I'm wondering there's really two options here. I think
- 25:58Speaker 2: either Rula gets straight confronted with a truth that Brian
- 26:03Speaker 2: has not been loyal to her, that he has not
- 26:06Speaker 2: only tracked her car, which I don't know how that's
- 26:08Speaker 2: not a bigger thing to her, but has also, you know,
- 26:13Speaker 2: stepped out on her consistently with this mistress. But it
- 26:18Speaker 2: feels like Rula showed up to this saying, hey, you
- 26:20Speaker 2: want to point fingers at me, I'm going to point
- 26:21Speaker 2: fingers at all of you. Even if these things we
- 26:27Speaker 2: want to point fingers at have been healed between marriages,
- 26:30Speaker 2: like Jerry and Liz. Liz says, hey, Jerry knows about this.
- 26:33Speaker 2: We were separate. He knows what went on. This is
- 26:36Speaker 2: not even an issue. I don't know why we're talking
- 26:38Speaker 2: about it. Like, if you want to embarrass me, cool,
- 26:40Speaker 2: embarrass me, but this isn't a thing. And then you know,
- 26:43Speaker 2: we go into Joellen and all this kind of like
- 26:48Speaker 2: rulis standing up during this thing. I was wild getting
- 26:52Speaker 2: really mad at Joellen. I I think we have igine.
- 26:58Speaker 2: You tell me if I'm wrong. I would imagine that
- 27:00Speaker 2: we have to take into perspective how hard this has
- 27:02Speaker 2: been on Rula personally and her relationship, and so she
- 27:05Speaker 2: came into this thinking and I don't think it's his
- 27:08Speaker 2: healthy behavior. But the only way to make this better
- 27:11Speaker 2: is to make everybody else feel worse.
- 27:12Speaker 5: You know, it's such a childish way to look at it.
- 27:16Speaker 5: I wonder if Brian like did lots of research for
- 27:19Speaker 5: Rula to have ammunition for the stage to almost like
- 27:22Speaker 5: him better.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I would. I would to put it past him.
- 27:26Speaker 2: That would be crazy.
- 27:27Speaker 4: I know.
- 27:28Speaker 5: I'm so excited for next week when he comes on stage.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the previews look like he just gets
- 27:34Speaker 2: absolutely destroyed.
- 27:37Speaker 4: I'm so excited.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Starting with Jared being like you gotta tell her Man like,
- 27:41Speaker 2: this is crazy.
- 27:44Speaker 5: Yeah, the only way to start is to have a
- 27:45Speaker 5: clean slate if you want to stand this marriage.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Uh yeah, okay.
- 27:50Speaker 5: So Jerry, uh Jared, the whole thing squashed and stupid.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:55Speaker 5: And then Rula wants to bring out receipts and it
- 27:57Speaker 5: seems like Andy's very annoyed when Rula says, Andy, I
- 28:01Speaker 5: have receipts to show you or whatever.
- 28:04Speaker 4: What was it text?
- 28:06Speaker 5: Oh it was it was Brian surgical schedule for the day. Yeah,
- 28:13Speaker 5: everything can be doctored. Also, like what what?
- 28:18Speaker 2: I love how Andy handles that moment where he's like, hey, yeah,
- 28:22Speaker 2: we're taking a little break here, and then he just
- 28:23Speaker 2: gets up if you notice, and he's just a pro.
- 28:26Speaker 2: He walks out of there, so there's no more conversation
- 28:28Speaker 2: that he's a part of. But that commercial break is crazy. There's,
- 28:33Speaker 2: you know, a lot of conversations going on all across
- 28:36Speaker 2: the room while the break is happening. And I love
- 28:39Speaker 2: how they just kept rolling. We never really had a break,
- 28:42Speaker 2: They just kept rolling. The cameras so good.
- 28:44Speaker 4: That's where the best stuff happens.
- 28:47Speaker 5: That's when when Rula was like Joelleen stop stop, and
- 28:51Speaker 5: she's like, did you think I was going to stop
- 28:53Speaker 5: for the reunion, You're crazy, And then she's right, She's right.
- 28:56Speaker 5: I grew with her.
- 29:07Speaker 2: So at this point, we're kind of halfway through the episode.
- 29:10Speaker 2: We've had a lot of bickering back and forth. Again,
- 29:14Speaker 2: we've pretty much gone through each episode's storylines. We have
- 29:18Speaker 2: the Kelsey Rosie scenario, we have Liz and Rula, we
- 29:24Speaker 2: have a Joellen confrontation. Joellen's actually says that this has
- 29:28Speaker 2: not been good for her and her mom, that her
- 29:31Speaker 2: mom is really hurt by watching the season badly.
- 29:34Speaker 4: Why did I miss that?
- 29:35Speaker 2: And said that her mom is saying, hey, if you
- 29:37Speaker 2: say anything bad about me during the reunion, like I'll
- 29:39Speaker 2: stop watching your kids, is the comment made. But Joel
- 29:43Speaker 2: doesn't really stop, you know, she kind of calls her
- 29:46Speaker 2: mom a narcissist, and you know, they have a whole
- 29:49Speaker 2: section on her and Rosie bonding over the lack of
- 29:53Speaker 2: motherly love that they feel. It's a storyline that hasn't
- 29:57Speaker 2: really been shown, and I'm glad it has it. I
- 29:59Speaker 2: don't know if I could even get behind watching it's.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Like low hanging fruit kind.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just sad too. It's mother daughter like dynamic
- 30:06Speaker 2: and it's not playing out well, and there's a lot
- 30:08Speaker 2: of hurt and pain that you know, it feels like
- 30:11Speaker 2: they kind of confronted but didn't really make up for it.
- 30:15Speaker 2: And it almost feels like this whole reunion, Lauren, is
- 30:17Speaker 2: that to me where I thought we were moving into
- 30:20Speaker 2: season two? In fact, last week I asked you the question,
- 30:23Speaker 2: when the world are they going to talk about during
- 30:25Speaker 2: season two? I thought so many of these dynamics had
- 30:29Speaker 2: been healed, or at least had been had there's been
- 30:32Speaker 2: some like understanding of, hey, we're just not going to
- 30:35Speaker 2: bring this up anymore. Not to be the case.
- 30:38Speaker 5: I know there was an event this week. I don't
- 30:40Speaker 5: remember what it was, but like all the girls were
- 30:42Speaker 5: there except for Liz and Rula I think, and Ashley
- 30:45Speaker 5: was like Rosie and Kelsey can't even like make eye
- 30:49Speaker 5: contact in a general direction of each other. Like that's
- 30:51Speaker 5: how bad it is after the reunion, So out of
- 30:55Speaker 5: season two is just gonna be more of the same shit.
- 30:57Speaker 2: I think we saw that like this, these things have
- 30:59Speaker 2: not been healed, they have not been forgotten. There is
- 31:03Speaker 2: going to be a season two full of new confrontations
- 31:07Speaker 2: and new issues, probably amongst the you know, very similar people.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Is this how you think most reunions are, Lauren? Do
- 31:16Speaker 2: you think most reunions are just like an ambushing of
- 31:20Speaker 2: different people and why you know, bringing back memories from
- 31:24Speaker 2: months ago.
- 31:25Speaker 5: Yeah, there's no like kumbaying at this point. You've just
- 31:29Speaker 5: seen everyone talk so much on social media in their confessionals,
- 31:33Speaker 5: all the behind the scenes stuff, so I wouldn't expect
- 31:35Speaker 5: anything less.
- 31:36Speaker 2: The one thing I did feel from this, you know,
- 31:40Speaker 2: we've wondered all season what Joe Allen's intentions are when
- 31:44Speaker 2: it comes to her continuation of bringing up the Brian scenario.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Good for the TV actually would go as far as saying,
- 31:52Speaker 2: you know, good for Rula because she's getting some clarity
- 31:55Speaker 2: on what her husband's doing. We imagine that Joan was
- 31:59Speaker 2: doing it because she likes a little bit to engage
- 32:01Speaker 2: into the storylines, but also because she really did care
- 32:04Speaker 2: about Rula and went into this season going I'm filming
- 32:07Speaker 2: this show with this lady. I think we can be friends.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Here's one way that I can help kind of break
- 32:12Speaker 2: the ice. Just tell her about her husband's extramarital affairs.
- 32:17Speaker 2: They don't like each other now though, like at all.
- 32:20Speaker 2: If there's I mean, I understand you saying Rosie and
- 32:23Speaker 2: Kelsey can't look at each other. I would go as
- 32:25Speaker 2: far as saying Rula and Joel and I like dislike
- 32:28Speaker 2: each other more and probably have a harder path to
- 32:32Speaker 2: ever having a friendship than Kelsey and Rosie. Yeah, I'm don't.
- 32:38Speaker 4: I don't know Rula personally.
- 32:39Speaker 5: I know Ashley's like really good friends with Rola and
- 32:42Speaker 5: she likes her and all that stuff, But like it's
- 32:44Speaker 5: just it's really hard to be on Rula's side during
- 32:48Speaker 5: all of this and not be on joel in'side when
- 32:51Speaker 5: everything I see from Joel and is it kind of
- 32:53Speaker 5: makes sense to me, like you're just trying to gather
- 32:55Speaker 5: information and tell someone they're being manipulated. But everyone's calling
- 33:00Speaker 5: Joellen the devil, like they're literally saying she's the devil.
- 33:04Speaker 5: But I haven't seen anything of that except for when
- 33:07Speaker 5: Rula calls out Joellen for how she got laid off,
- 33:13Speaker 5: and there is a lot behind that, and I'm surprised
- 33:16Speaker 5: they didn't get into it more.
- 33:18Speaker 4: I think they had other fish to fry.
- 33:19Speaker 5: But like Joellen has like sued the company that she
- 33:24Speaker 5: used to work for, and there's like a lot of
- 33:27Speaker 5: legal stuff there and everything seen.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Is this allegedly or is this like actually true?
- 33:32Speaker 5: I mean, I'm sure we can find we can I'm
- 33:34Speaker 5: sure we can find the legal process of it. I'm
- 33:36Speaker 5: sure it's not alleged. But I'm gonna stay allegedly. She's
- 33:42Speaker 5: the company she used to work for. It's like she's
- 33:45Speaker 5: done a lot of wrong and no one's like bringing
- 33:48Speaker 5: it up. They're just calling from the devil and we
- 33:49Speaker 5: have nothing to back it up.
- 33:51Speaker 2: As the viewers, Yeah, we're just hearing. I mean, really
- 33:56Speaker 2: as entertaining as their union was, we do just have
- 33:58Speaker 2: a lot of people saying a lot of things without
- 34:00Speaker 2: proof of any of it exactly.
- 34:03Speaker 4: I think they may show us the video, Brian.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I think maybe, oh goodness, that's a good preview.
- 34:09Speaker 4: Maybe I can only hope.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I can only hope that that would be fun. I
- 34:16Speaker 2: would raise some lie. I just I wanted to see
- 34:19Speaker 2: a moment where one of these strong willed personalities were
- 34:23Speaker 2: proven wrong, honestly, because there's two sides to every single
- 34:27Speaker 2: one of these conversations. There's a right and the wrong.
- 34:29Speaker 2: And I don't really care who it was. It'd just
- 34:31Speaker 2: be nice at some point for the viewers. I think
- 34:34Speaker 2: to be like, oh, that wasn't real, or that's not true.
- 34:38Speaker 2: That person now has to go apologize, or if they
- 34:41Speaker 2: don't apologize, what does that say about them? We don't
- 34:44Speaker 2: get that. We just get a lot of like bickering
- 34:47Speaker 2: and saying I know it to be true, and you're
- 34:50Speaker 2: another person saying no, it's not. And then that's it.
- 34:53Speaker 2: It's really every scenario. There's not one memory of this
- 34:56Speaker 2: episode moreen that I remember somebody going oh, actually, you're right.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:01Speaker 5: The closest we get to that is when Kelsey calls
- 35:05Speaker 5: Ashley out for not hanging out with the group, and
- 35:06Speaker 5: then she explains why, and then she's like, yeah, I
- 35:08Speaker 5: guess I guess it's true.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I guess I guess I haven't invited you anywhere,
- 35:13Speaker 2: so I can't really be that mad about it.
- 35:15Speaker 4: Correct? Correct?
- 35:16Speaker 2: Do you want to? And that's like a very awkward
- 35:19Speaker 2: moment where she's like, well do you want to hang out?
- 35:20Speaker 2: And they're like yeah, okay, let's move on.
- 35:23Speaker 5: Like that was so awkward, and I felt kind of
- 35:25Speaker 5: bad because Ashley, what is ashly supposed to know even
- 35:28Speaker 5: though she probably doesn't want to, but but and Rosie's
- 35:32Speaker 5: sitting right there It's like, what do you do? And
- 35:33Speaker 5: Rosie was like, you can do what you want. You're
- 35:35Speaker 5: an adult. And then it's also like, well now I
- 35:36Speaker 5: feel bad for even saying I would hang out with
- 35:39Speaker 5: our guy.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. It was a weird moment. It was like,
- 35:42Speaker 2: very awkward. It was very much of hey, friend, or
- 35:45Speaker 2: do you care? And Rosie's like, I don't care, You're
- 35:47Speaker 2: an adult. And then like she had to, Ashley asked
- 35:50Speaker 2: her permission, which is a nice friend move, but not
- 35:52Speaker 2: necessarily when you want to watch on television.
- 35:54Speaker 4: It looked like reallypathetic. Yeah, great, did look great again?
- 36:00Speaker 2: Great?
- 36:01Speaker 3: Uh?
- 36:02Speaker 2: You know, we could go through each one of these people,
- 36:05Speaker 2: from Rosie to Rula to Liz to Joellen to Alicia
- 36:10Speaker 2: to Kelsey to Ashley and remember specific storylines from this season,
- 36:15Speaker 2: storylines that are planted in our brains, ones that we
- 36:21Speaker 2: have questions about. My hope is Lauren. As we move
- 36:25Speaker 2: into you know, episode two of the Reunion, we do
- 36:29Speaker 2: start to get some answers because we have the right
- 36:32Speaker 2: people involved. We have now the couples, the spouses, the partners,
- 36:36Speaker 2: the husbands, the Brians that can respond to some of
- 36:43Speaker 2: these accusations. Because outside of Rosy and Kelsey and maybe
- 36:51Speaker 2: the Liz joel On thing a little bit. So much
- 36:54Speaker 2: of this season has existed around things that are not
- 36:58Speaker 2: a part of the cast specifically, but a part of
- 37:01Speaker 2: the people that they're living life with. The Brian scenario, yes, yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 2: Jared Nodry's right.
- 37:07Speaker 4: Yes, the Gary's and the Jerry's.
- 37:10Speaker 2: The big house being built for Rosie, like these things
- 37:14Speaker 2: are outside. So I'm excited to see the men sit
- 37:18Speaker 2: down with them.
- 37:19Speaker 4: And that really happens. I think with a housewife.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Reunions it doesn't really happen.
- 37:23Speaker 5: I don't think it happens that much. And it's just
- 37:25Speaker 5: because the men have been the most involved in this
- 37:28Speaker 5: season that.
- 37:29Speaker 4: They have to have them.
- 37:30Speaker 2: I wonder if Dino will show up.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Oh, just to make Kelsey very uncomfortable.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Yeah, that'd be great, that would be great. I don't
- 37:37Speaker 5: think he signed up to do that though. Okay, I
- 37:41Speaker 5: just really think I need to do my own saluting
- 37:43Speaker 5: and find this police report for Rosie so at least
- 37:45Speaker 5: we get one solidified, not true answer, and then.
- 37:51Speaker 2: That's homework.
- 37:52Speaker 4: I love it. I love it.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you got some homework to do.
- 37:55Speaker 5: Okay, and then I'll see I'll do that and I'll
- 37:57Speaker 5: see if the suing thing was was.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Joe Allen, Yeah, then I really.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Want to see the surgery thing, although I'll never believe
- 38:06Speaker 5: a surgery or schedule from that man.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I hope it's a word document that was like Brah home,
- 38:10Speaker 2: like at nine o'clock.
- 38:11Speaker 4: I and this is Chatchy bet in the corner.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just a complete Please fill in at twelve
- 38:17Speaker 2: hour surgery day if I'm a podiatrist and make it
- 38:21Speaker 2: look like a schedule.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Yes, exactly.
- 38:23Speaker 2: That would be my question for chat Lauren Previews for
- 38:26Speaker 2: the next episode. Obviously, the husbands are there. It does
- 38:29Speaker 2: look like Brian gets absolutely grilled, and he should I don't.
- 38:34Speaker 2: I think he needs to speak up or speak out
- 38:38Speaker 2: for Ruler's sake and for you know, really so many
- 38:42Speaker 2: of these women who have invested so much into their
- 38:44Speaker 2: relationship just because of the show. What else are you
- 38:47Speaker 2: looking forward to for the next episode outside of the
- 38:51Speaker 2: potential to see the video.
- 38:53Speaker 5: I mean, I'm obviously just excited for Andy to point
- 38:57Speaker 5: blank ask Brian certain quest Russians that he can't wiggle around,
- 39:02Speaker 5: and I think Andy will hold him accountable and in
- 39:05Speaker 5: the way that Brian has like word salad when he
- 39:09Speaker 5: answers questions and you will not allow that. So I'm
- 39:11Speaker 5: excited for that.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, nothing's going to be funnier than Andy
- 39:15Speaker 2: doing his comments back to Brian when Brian. Brian is
- 39:20Speaker 2: just twirling in circles and mumbling and say please speak up, Brian,
- 39:26Speaker 2: we can't understand you. That would be gold.
- 39:29Speaker 5: So you just said that, We just said that, and
- 39:31Speaker 5: then it's just so good. Okay, So I hope that happens.
- 39:35Speaker 5: I don't know any of any inside scoop on how
- 39:38Speaker 5: much Brian is roasted, but it looks pretty good and
- 39:41Speaker 5: obviously excited to see Jared.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Jared's going to be looking good. Looks like Jared
- 39:46Speaker 2: is also still continuing to be the hospitable one because
- 39:48Speaker 2: in the preview it shows him with a bottle of
- 39:50Speaker 2: what looks like bourbon or some like rose tequila, pouring
- 39:55Speaker 2: drinks for everybody and calling out Brian and saying, you
- 39:58Speaker 2: gotta say something, man, good for Jared. Jared's one of
- 40:03Speaker 2: a kind here, good business owner, good husband, good father,
- 40:07Speaker 2: good man. We love him here. It's almost famous. Podcast Lauren.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Episode two of the Reunion airs this week.
- 40:16Speaker 4: This Sunday, it's coming Sunday.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, goodness, It's quick.
- 40:20Speaker 4: That's it.
- 40:21Speaker 2: We'll be back breaking down part two of the Real
- 40:25Speaker 2: Housewives of Rhode Island reunion. The men are getting involved
- 40:29Speaker 2: to sit down and chat next to their beloveds, and
- 40:33Speaker 2: we'll be talking all about it. Hey, until next time,
