- 0:12Speaker 3: You work for Chris Christie.
- 0:13Speaker 4: Ive been in Follistas on a lot of public service stuff.
- 0:15Speaker 5: Rich Valdez columnist now with the Washington Times.
- 0:18Speaker 1: This is America, Richiev. You're on the air with a
- 0:20Speaker 1: nation Nation with America with your host, Rich Valdez.
- 0:26Speaker 5: What's up, America. I am Rich Valdes VALDESZ with an
- 0:29Speaker 5: s at Rich Valdesz on all of the social media.
- 0:32Speaker 5: Happy Thursday to everybody. What a blessing it is to
- 0:36Speaker 5: be here. I am your liberty loving Latino amigo, seventeen
- 0:39Speaker 5: blocks away from Madison Square Garden here in New York City,
- 0:43Speaker 5: and I want to get into Greenland. Here, Greenland. If
- 0:45Speaker 5: you want to chime in, by the way, you want
- 0:47Speaker 5: to join us, open phones across America and join us
- 0:49Speaker 5: on our late night national town hall conversation. You know
- 0:52Speaker 5: what to do. Pick up the phone, give me a call,
- 0:54Speaker 5: eight seven seven Valdes and the number one, eight seven
- 0:58Speaker 5: seven va LDEs and the number one now Greenland. The
- 1:04Speaker 5: I don't know if he's the king or he's the ruler.
- 1:07Speaker 5: He's he's the head honcho in charge of things in Greenland.
- 1:10Speaker 5: He went on the Fox News channel because he's really
- 1:13Speaker 5: upset with that trumpito. But he says, look, these are
- 1:15Speaker 5: just fundamental differences of opinion. Right. Ultimately, we're friends, we good,
- 1:20Speaker 5: We just we gotta work this thing out. And I'm
- 1:24Speaker 5: glad he's taken that posture and not one of how
- 1:27Speaker 5: tell you and we will not allow and you will
- 1:30Speaker 5: not do because that's not gonna be a win, I
- 1:33Speaker 5: don't think. And Trump seems pretty adamant that the United
- 1:37Speaker 5: States needs this, and he's not giving us all the details,
- 1:40Speaker 5: I'm sure, but we have as much as we're gonna get.
- 1:42Speaker 5: And does that mean we have to go for it? No,
- 1:45Speaker 5: he could tell Trump to go pound rocks and forget
- 1:47Speaker 5: about it. You know, no, thank you, But I don't
- 1:51Speaker 5: know that he's going to. And the Danish Prime minister
- 1:54Speaker 5: who's in charge of Greenland and represents Greenland, he's in
- 1:58Speaker 5: Washington today meeting with Vice President JD. Vance, the VEEP,
- 2:03Speaker 5: as well as our foreign minister known as the Secretary
- 2:08Speaker 5: of State, Marco Rubio, and he left that meeting to
- 2:13Speaker 5: go on to have a meeting of his own with
- 2:16Speaker 5: Brett Bayerrett the Fox News Channel. But we'll see, maybe
- 2:20Speaker 5: there's some other ulterior motive here right where Trump is
- 2:24Speaker 5: saying we need greenland, we have to get greenland. I
- 2:27Speaker 5: think the reason for greenland is pretty much face value,
- 2:31Speaker 5: the rare earth minerals, strategic location, the fact that we
- 2:35Speaker 5: can control just like Puerto Rico, right, just like Venezuela,
- 2:38Speaker 5: these coastal places that you can control ships moving. That's
- 2:42Speaker 5: how you stop rushing, That's how you stop China. That's
- 2:45Speaker 5: how you have domination. Back in the eighties, right, even
- 2:49Speaker 5: the seventies, the drug game, the cartels that were running
- 2:53Speaker 5: the show were the Colombian cartels. They were making all
- 2:59Speaker 5: that coke, they were bringing it in on planes, smuggling
- 3:02Speaker 5: in it. They figured out that they had to come
- 3:06Speaker 5: up with new ways of making the cocaine, and they
- 3:08Speaker 5: got some new partners who were their partners, the Mexicans.
- 3:13Speaker 5: What did the Mexicans do? They didn't grow cocaine, So
- 3:17Speaker 5: why were they partners? Because they controlled distribution. And ultimately,
- 3:23Speaker 5: he who controls the distribution is he who makes all
- 3:26Speaker 5: the money. And that's what they have now. They control
- 3:29Speaker 5: the distribution of what gets into this country. Whether it's
- 3:32Speaker 5: small children, boys, small children girls, whether it's farm labor,
- 3:38Speaker 5: slave labor, sex labor, you name it, they can get
- 3:42Speaker 5: it into the country. Old, new experience, inexperience, you name it.
- 3:48Speaker 5: These guys are bringing these people across the board. It's
- 3:51Speaker 5: a whole underground railroad of human trafficking. So what do
- 3:56Speaker 5: we do with that? Well, we have to realize that
- 4:00Speaker 5: distribution is truly king, even in the radio business, right. Yea.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Oftentimes you can make all the great content in the world.
- 4:08Speaker 5: But if you don't have a good distributor, a good syndicator, right,
- 4:11Speaker 5: if you're not connected with a pretty good company that
- 4:13Speaker 5: can get you out there, you're not out there. Right,
- 4:17Speaker 5: you have to ultimately right, Rogan has a great show,
- 4:20Speaker 5: but he signed with Spotify a couple of years ago,
- 4:23Speaker 5: did I think a three year deal with them for
- 4:25Speaker 5: one hundred and fifty million dollars, which to me is
- 4:28Speaker 5: a fantastic amount of money. And they got his three
- 4:35Speaker 5: hour podcast into the ears and onto the phones and
- 4:39Speaker 5: tablets and laptops of their very many users. And that
- 4:45Speaker 5: is the game. Right. He used to be he who
- 4:47Speaker 5: creates right, So look at TV for example, just to
- 4:49Speaker 5: go on a couple of different tangents. Here, ABC, CBS, NBC. Right,
- 4:55Speaker 5: they started in radio, then they became television and the
- 4:59Speaker 5: three big networks two, four, and seven. This is what
- 5:02Speaker 5: they did. They created, right, it was CBS Studios. They
- 5:07Speaker 5: made their shows, their soap operas, they made their news.
- 5:10Speaker 5: They had their stuff, their Today's show, their morning show,
- 5:13Speaker 5: their evening show, right, their late night show. They made
- 5:17Speaker 5: their stuff and then they distributed it. And then they
- 5:21Speaker 5: had affiliates that took on their name and likeness and
- 5:24Speaker 5: persona that other people owned as they started to grow.
- 5:27Speaker 5: So these local affiliates are However, now we're in a
- 5:33Speaker 5: new place. When was the last time you heard of
- 5:35Speaker 5: a TV company that was building more whatever TV companies
- 5:40Speaker 5: used to transmit their television over the air, You didn't, Right,
- 5:46Speaker 5: what you're hearing is two big companies trying to merge
- 5:49Speaker 5: cable companies, broadcast companies. But nobody's expanding their merging. The
- 5:56Speaker 5: expansion that you see is little companies like one that
- 5:59Speaker 5: I can called Roku. Roku started off as a little
- 6:03Speaker 5: player that you hooked up to your whatever. Now it's
- 6:06Speaker 5: built into so many different smart TVs and guess how
- 6:10Speaker 5: many users they have all right, I give up ninety
- 6:16Speaker 5: million households. So it's well over that number, right, there's
- 6:21Speaker 5: multiple people in each household. Ninety million households are reached
- 6:27Speaker 5: by Roku in North America. That includes Mexico, this is
- 6:33Speaker 5: in Canada. This is a very big number. They are
- 6:36Speaker 5: by far the biggest streamer in North America. The other
- 6:43Speaker 5: ones don't come that close to getting the market share
- 6:45Speaker 5: that they're getting. Why because they're able to grow their
- 6:50Speaker 5: business because they can distribute this stuff through the internet.
- 6:55Speaker 5: iHeartRadio big radio company. They just signed a deal with
- 6:59Speaker 5: who Netflix for what to promote podcasts of all things.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Video podcasts are going to be distributed through Netflix, and
- 7:10Speaker 5: the iHeartRadio page is very soon changing over to where
- 7:14Speaker 5: you can listen to a podcast or radio show or
- 7:17Speaker 5: music video or watch it, because that is the future.
- 7:23Speaker 5: That is where the growth is. Right, YouTube definitely growing.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Every day is a new person with a smartphone in
- 7:31Speaker 5: their hand, with a different type of screen or tablet.
- 7:35Speaker 5: We're moving into a digital information world and you don't
- 7:40Speaker 5: even have a choice to not keep up. If you don't,
- 7:45Speaker 5: you can't play, you can't participate. So in much the
- 7:49Speaker 5: same way President Trump wants to control the distribution of
- 7:54Speaker 5: ships and make sure that we are the ones that
- 7:58Speaker 5: are benefiting right America first, take care of me, hit
- 8:02Speaker 5: me off, and I think this is a very wise
- 8:06Speaker 5: thing to do. So I want you to hear what
- 8:09Speaker 5: the Danish Foreign minister, his name is Lars luck Arrasmussen,
- 8:15Speaker 5: what he said to Brett Baer on the Fox News
- 8:18Speaker 5: channel with respect to Greenland not that long ago.
- 8:24Speaker 6: We need Greenland for national security.
- 8:26Speaker 3: So we're going to see what happens if we don't
- 8:28Speaker 3: go in.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Russia is going to go in, and China is going
- 8:30Speaker 5: to go in, and there's not a thing.
- 8:32Speaker 2: That Denmark can do about it, but we can do
- 8:35Speaker 2: everything about it.
- 8:36Speaker 7: The President has made his view clear and we have
- 8:40Speaker 7: a different position. We therefore still have a fundamental disagreement,
- 8:44Speaker 7: but we also agreed to disagree, and therefore we will, however, continue.
- 8:49Speaker 2: To talk President Trump and the Danish foreign minister on
- 8:53Speaker 2: the US effort to take over Greenland. The Danish Foreign Minister,
- 8:57Speaker 2: Lars Luca Rasmussen joins me here live in studio. A
- 9:01Speaker 2: mister foreign minister, thanks for your time.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Thank you for having me, Brett. I know it was an.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Interesting day today. I want to get first before we
- 9:10Speaker 2: get into specifics. Your take on that meeting with Vice
- 9:13Speaker 2: President Vans and Secretary Review.
- 9:15Speaker 7: My take is that it was a brilliant opportunity for
- 9:20Speaker 7: us to share all of you with our American friends.
- 9:23Speaker 7: I mean, we are close allies, we have been, we
- 9:27Speaker 7: have had diplomatic relations You will not find an ally
- 9:30Speaker 7: to us who have had uninterrupted diplomatic relationships as long
- 9:36Speaker 7: as we have for twenty for two hundred and twenty
- 9:39Speaker 7: five years in a row, and to some extent, not
- 9:44Speaker 7: to some extent, we share, you know, the challenges linked
- 9:47Speaker 7: to the situation in the Arctic. We didn't agree that
- 9:53Speaker 7: it can only be achieved if us conquer you know, Greenland.
- 10:00Speaker 7: So it was a great opportunity to take this. I
- 10:04Speaker 7: wouldn't call it a dialogue. These discussions would have been
- 10:08Speaker 7: in social media and the press for thirteen months into a.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Kind of a formal environment.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Get into the environment where we could make our points.
- 10:16Speaker 2: But let's just quickly for the people who don't fully
- 10:18Speaker 2: understand what this conversation is about. As we put up
- 10:21Speaker 2: the map of Greenland.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Now, I just wanted you know, I'm gonna play a
- 10:24Speaker 5: little bit of this, but because it is an interesting conversation.
- 10:27Speaker 5: I'm not going to let the whole thing go, but
- 10:29Speaker 5: I want you to hear what they had to say,
- 10:31Speaker 5: because there are some developments that occurred simultaneous or shortly
- 10:35Speaker 5: right after this meeting.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Denmark and Greenland your relationship. You spend money there, the
- 10:41Speaker 2: people there get funds from Denmark every year. Explain it
- 10:46Speaker 2: to folks, what Denmark's relationship to Greenland.
- 10:50Speaker 3: I mean, we are the Kingdom of Denmark.
- 10:52Speaker 7: We consist of Denmark, the Fair Islands and Greenland, and
- 10:55Speaker 7: we have a long lasting relationship for hundreds of years.
- 11:00Speaker 7: One seventeen thousand green Landing people are leaving in then
- 11:05Speaker 7: it's one third of the total population in Greenland. More
- 11:10Speaker 7: than one out of ten people in Greenland are dates.
- 11:13Speaker 7: So we are totally integrated. We share a history, and
- 11:20Speaker 7: last night the Premier and Greenland made it crystal clear
- 11:24Speaker 7: that even though you know in a very long term perspective,
- 11:27Speaker 7: and I think that goes for old people across the world,
- 11:30Speaker 7: they want some kind of independence right now and for
- 11:34Speaker 7: simple future.
- 11:35Speaker 3: The one who be a part of the kingdom, well.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Let me be let me so here's the president the
- 11:39Speaker 2: truth social he put out NATO tell dan Mark to
- 11:41Speaker 2: get them out of here. He's talking about China and Russia. Now,
- 11:44Speaker 2: two dog sleds won't do it. Only the USA can.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Danish intel warn't last year that Russian and Chinese military
- 11:50Speaker 2: goals toward Greenland and the Arctic. Then the White House
- 11:53Speaker 2: put out this picture that kind of depicted that these
- 11:56Speaker 2: two dog sleds choosing between either Russia, China or the USA.
- 12:01Speaker 2: There is a concern about Russia and China in that area.
- 12:04Speaker 7: Right, yeah, yeah, and we shared that concern. I mean,
- 12:07Speaker 7: but we also need to have a fact based dialogue.
- 12:11Speaker 7: And you know, and due to at least Danish intelligence,
- 12:15Speaker 7: and I don't think your intelligence have a different view
- 12:18Speaker 7: on that. We haven't seen Chinese warshep in Greenland for
- 12:22Speaker 7: a decade or so. There's absolutely no Chinese investments in Greenland.
- 12:27Speaker 7: When I served as primiss that I served premise that
- 12:30Speaker 7: twice we avoided any kind of Chinese investments in infrastructure.
- 12:34Speaker 7: You know, ten years ago, the Roller initiative, what you
- 12:37Speaker 7: have seen in Africa, we avoided all that. We now
- 12:40Speaker 7: build new international airports in Greenland. They are funded by
- 12:44Speaker 7: Danish money. We had an abandoned American military installation years ago,
- 12:51Speaker 7: there was a global tender. I personally intervened in this
- 12:55Speaker 7: in order to avoid, you know, any Chinese footprint. So
- 12:58Speaker 7: there's absolutely no Chinese foodprints in Greenland.
- 13:01Speaker 2: But they having said that, we can say they aspire Russia.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 7: Yeah, And having said that, I fully share you know,
- 13:06Speaker 7: I know you're president very well.
- 13:08Speaker 3: I have met him on several occasions.
- 13:10Speaker 7: I was among the first European leaders to meet him
- 13:12Speaker 7: in his first term. And there's always, you know, a
- 13:18Speaker 7: bit of truth in what he's saying.
- 13:21Speaker 3: And I definitely and we definitely share.
- 13:24Speaker 5: That there's always a little bit of truth in what
- 13:27Speaker 5: he's saying. How about a low blow go ahead huns.
- 13:31Speaker 7: The concern that Actic is not any longer a low
- 13:34Speaker 7: tension region, and of course we have to be aware
- 13:39Speaker 7: of that, and that's why we have invested almost fifteen
- 13:42Speaker 7: billion US dollars last year in capabilities in Greenland.
- 13:47Speaker 2: And that's part of the petry made today, the fear
- 13:50Speaker 2: do you believe Do you believe that the US is
- 13:54Speaker 2: going to take over Greenland either by buying it other words,
- 14:00Speaker 2: incentivizing each of the Greenland in population, which is a
- 14:04Speaker 2: population about fifty six fifty seven thousand if they get
- 14:08Speaker 2: more money than you're giving them every year to then
- 14:12Speaker 2: have an independence vote, to be independent of you. Could
- 14:16Speaker 2: it be possible that the US is going to try
- 14:18Speaker 2: to do that.
- 14:19Speaker 7: It's probably possible that US could try to do it.
- 14:21Speaker 7: It's not possible that Greenland will buy into all this.
- 14:24Speaker 7: I mean, according to the latest poll in Greenland, only
- 14:28Speaker 7: six percent of the Greenlandic population wants to be become Americans.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Well, you know, I had the Greenland Prime minister on
- 14:35Speaker 2: a year ago. Now he's now no longer in office,
- 14:37Speaker 2: but he was Greenland Prime Minister at the time. This
- 14:39Speaker 2: is what he said about that, could you foresee a
- 14:42Speaker 2: deal with the US.
- 14:46Speaker 6: We don't want to be Danes, We don't even want
- 14:49Speaker 6: to be Americans.
- 14:51Speaker 1: We want to be Greenlandez.
- 14:52Speaker 6: But we know that we have a lot of to
- 14:55Speaker 6: cooperate together with, especially with the difference and security for
- 15:00Speaker 6: the last years. We also have a strong partnership between
- 15:04Speaker 6: our country, so I believe we have a lot to
- 15:07Speaker 6: cooperate with.
- 15:08Speaker 2: So I'm just doing the math here. Fifty six thousand,
- 15:11Speaker 2: they get five hundred thousand dollars a person. I mean,
- 15:16Speaker 2: you don't think they're going to vote to break away.
- 15:18Speaker 7: No, not at all, because I think there's no way
- 15:22Speaker 7: that US will pay for a Scandinavian welfare system in Greenland.
- 15:25Speaker 7: Honestly speaking, you haven't introduced the Scandinavian welfare system.
- 15:29Speaker 2: But you also don't believe the US is going to
- 15:31Speaker 2: invade Greenland, do you?
- 15:33Speaker 8: No?
- 15:35Speaker 7: At least I do not hope so, because I mean
- 15:37Speaker 7: that will be the end of natal. But I want
- 15:39Speaker 7: to have a more positive approach to all this, and
- 15:42Speaker 7: I think it's important for me to say that we
- 15:45Speaker 7: share the concerns. I mean, that's why we are investing heavily.
- 15:50Speaker 7: You know, we haven't received any military requests from US
- 15:55Speaker 7: about stepping up in Greenland for the last twenty years,
- 15:58Speaker 7: you know, And we have this framework from fifty one.
- 16:01Speaker 7: We have a defense agreement. We all belong to nature,
- 16:05Speaker 7: and we think that our way for what should be
- 16:08Speaker 7: that we you know, combined.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Forces, combined forces. Well, Hans, listen, I think that you
- 16:15Speaker 5: should combine forces. And I think this is again, this
- 16:17Speaker 5: is how Trump negotiates. I want it, I want it all.
- 16:21Speaker 5: I'm taking it. It's mine mine, I'm gonna take it.
- 16:24Speaker 5: We don't know. So it starts with, hey, you want
- 16:26Speaker 5: to sell it. Get out of here. I'm not selling nothing.
- 16:28Speaker 5: This is the Kingdom of Denmark. Hey, can you sell
- 16:32Speaker 5: it to me? Just sell it, Just sell it, you know,
- 16:35Speaker 5: all right, I'm taking it one way or the other.
- 16:37Speaker 5: I'm getting it, right if I have to pay these
- 16:39Speaker 5: people five hundred thousand dollars, if I don't care if
- 16:42Speaker 5: we're getting it. Then they get indignant, right, they become
- 16:46Speaker 5: very very angry. And then all of a sudden, now
- 16:50Speaker 5: they're like, all right, all right, hold on, let's make
- 16:52Speaker 5: a deal here. And this is how Trump operates. Bottom
- 16:58Speaker 5: line is I think they all know, right, they all know.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Trump's not doing this because he's a nut job. He's
- 17:05Speaker 5: doing it because he needs to be there. He needs
- 17:08Speaker 5: to have the control of those routes that it. Now,
- 17:13Speaker 5: you got some people that are gonna say, oh, but
- 17:14Speaker 5: come on, this is the problem with Trump. He's so egotistical,
- 17:19Speaker 5: he's so weak, he's so this, and he's so that. Listen. Ultimately,
- 17:26Speaker 5: I think President Trump sees things that many of us
- 17:29Speaker 5: don't see. And many of the things that we do
- 17:32Speaker 5: see are things that that you know, he's already forgetting.
- 17:37Speaker 5: That's how long he's known about that stuff. So I
- 17:40Speaker 5: think there's a degree of wisdom to say, hold on,
- 17:43Speaker 5: let's take a look at what EDE dun't beato's doing
- 17:45Speaker 5: before we freak out and stop the presses and all
- 17:49Speaker 5: these things that we do. Let's let's see what's going
- 17:52Speaker 5: on right, check the temperature, get the pulse of the situation,
- 17:57Speaker 5: because I think ultimately that's what's necessary. Now. I want
- 18:00Speaker 5: to read this article because I saw this and I said, man,
- 18:02Speaker 5: what is going on here? Hans Lackey Rasmussen. He says
- 18:08Speaker 5: that a military invasion of Greenland by the United States
- 18:14Speaker 5: would in fact be the end of NATO, and I
- 18:16Speaker 5: guess I support that. I think that's why Trump is
- 18:19Speaker 5: going to try and pressure NATO into twisting their arm. Right.
- 18:24Speaker 5: He's going to do everything he can and everything he
- 18:26Speaker 5: knows how to do to pull off a win here.
- 18:28Speaker 5: But again, if we go back to the article that
- 18:30Speaker 5: I was just talking about, listen to this right. Troops
- 18:35Speaker 5: from Europe deployed to Greenland in rapid two day missionist
- 18:40Speaker 5: Trump eyes takeover. That was reported January fifteenth, Thursday, And
- 18:47Speaker 5: this is an interesting thing. Troops from several European countries
- 18:52Speaker 5: deployed to Greenland and are on the ground there Thursday
- 18:55Speaker 5: for a quick two day mission to bolster the territori's defenses. France, Germany's, Sweden,
- 19:00Speaker 5: and Norway are participating in the exercise as well. Fox
- 19:03Speaker 5: News has learned that leaders are saying the mission is
- 19:06Speaker 5: meant to demonstrate that they can deploy military assets quickly.
- 19:13Speaker 5: The development comes as the Trump administration is pushing to
- 19:16Speaker 5: acquire the Janish territory known as Greenland. Germany deployed a
- 19:20Speaker 5: reconnaissance team of thirteen men and women, France sent fifteen
- 19:24Speaker 5: mountain specialists, and Sweden, Norway and Britain sent three to
- 19:28Speaker 5: two and one officers respectively. And that's according to reportant voters.
- 19:34Speaker 5: So troops are already on the ground, they have been sent.
- 19:37Speaker 5: What's that all about. I don't know. I don't know
- 19:42Speaker 5: the enzime, But the Danish Defense minister said from today
- 19:52Speaker 5: there will be an expanded military presence in and around
- 19:55Speaker 5: Greenland in close cooperation with NATO allies. The purpose is
- 19:59Speaker 5: to the ability to operate under unique conditions in the
- 20:05Speaker 5: Arctic and strengthen this alliance's footprint in the Arctic, benefiting
- 20:11Speaker 5: both European and Transatlantic security. So that's what I've got
- 20:17Speaker 5: we've got troops on the ground, they're doing joint operations.
- 20:21Speaker 5: They're there already. You've got El Trumpito saying he's taking it.
- 20:27Speaker 5: I think at some point you got to say, let's
- 20:30Speaker 5: make a deal. But too many people are too busy
- 20:34Speaker 5: saying Trump's a dictator. So we'll see how that goes
- 20:37Speaker 5: or not. Don't go anywhere. I'm Richaldaz.
- 20:41Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 21:45Speaker 5: The forty fifth president Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 21:49Speaker 5: to speak with Rich Valdez. Oh, very good, an honor,
- 21:54Speaker 5: Thanks Rich. The honor is all yours time. With a
- 22:01Speaker 5: dash of sofrito. Now here's Rich Valdaz. All right, he goes,
- 22:06Speaker 5: Welcome back, Rich Valdez. And I have to make a confession, right,
- 22:09Speaker 5: I haven't been to the gym in the first fifteen
- 22:12Speaker 5: days of this year. Have another confession. I didn't go
- 22:15Speaker 5: to the gym in the last fifteen days of last year.
- 22:18Speaker 5: I don't think I've been to the gym since. Like Thanksgiving, Man,
- 22:22Speaker 5: I was supposed to take off for the holidays. I
- 22:24Speaker 5: went overboard with that. I haven't gained weight yet, but
- 22:28Speaker 5: it's gonna happen because I've been eating like there's no
- 22:30Speaker 5: tomorrow anyway. I had to start with that. That's not
- 22:33Speaker 5: a setup to anything other than I just needed to
- 22:35Speaker 5: get that off my chest because I am so tired lately,
- 22:37Speaker 5: because I don't go to the gym. That's why sometimes
- 22:40Speaker 5: you hear me getting into this mode and then I
- 22:42Speaker 5: come right back when I hit my coffee. I have
- 22:44Speaker 5: a little cafe citho. But I just wanted to say
- 22:48Speaker 5: that because you know, we have to hold each other accountable, right.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Life is about accountability in many ways, in every way,
- 22:54Speaker 5: and oftentimes we might sometimes do our own success, our
- 22:57Speaker 5: own happenstance, our own creation, create scenarios where we aren't
- 23:03Speaker 5: accountable and we like it that way, right. Just think
- 23:06Speaker 5: up a guy who cheats on his wife or a
- 23:08Speaker 5: wife who's cheating on her husband, and I'll just make
- 23:10Speaker 5: extremes like that, just you know, to get your attention.
- 23:13Speaker 5: But they make excuses for themselves to not be accountable,
- 23:16Speaker 5: to not do the right thing. Think of somebody who
- 23:18Speaker 5: like me, who doesn't want to go to the gym
- 23:20Speaker 5: right now, and I'm making my excuses, oh yeah, because
- 23:22Speaker 5: I don't feel like it. Or let's say I was
- 23:24Speaker 5: eating and I have been eating badly. I just thankfully
- 23:28Speaker 5: it hasn't hit me yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm
- 23:31Speaker 5: staring down the road of a good eight pounds and
- 23:34Speaker 5: it's just gonna one day boom, I'm gonna be where'd
- 23:37Speaker 5: that come from? On my chin, on my neck, my cheeks,
- 23:40Speaker 5: you know, and my waist, all of that stuff. I'm
- 23:44Speaker 5: saying to say, it is the new year, and we
- 23:48Speaker 5: have to commit to our plan, our plan of action.
- 23:51Speaker 5: We have to in every area of life, whether it's
- 23:54Speaker 5: our spiritual life, our relationships life, our financial life, our
- 24:03Speaker 5: all areas of life, our physical life, all those areas
- 24:10Speaker 5: have to have improvement. And this isn't something I made up.
- 24:13Speaker 5: This is something I learned in church the other day
- 24:15Speaker 5: about these four areas, these four domains, and I thought, man,
- 24:19Speaker 5: a good plan, and it is a good plan, and
- 24:23Speaker 5: it's one that's very uncomfortable at the same time. Right,
- 24:25Speaker 5: I hear that, And as a man, I don't want
- 24:26Speaker 5: to be held accounted in the area of my finances.
- 24:28Speaker 5: I like to spend frivolously when I can and feel
- 24:33Speaker 5: guilty about it and then make the payment on the car.
- 24:36Speaker 5: Do whatever you know, I think we all do. Right,
- 24:39Speaker 5: Let's do the vacation. We'll take care of it later.
- 24:41Speaker 5: We'll do this, we'll do that. But we can all
- 24:43Speaker 5: be a little more disciplined in our spending. We can
- 24:45Speaker 5: all be a little bit more clear in our plan
- 24:48Speaker 5: for our life, for our career, for our health, for
- 24:51Speaker 5: whatever trajectory we have in so many different areas. And
- 24:55Speaker 5: I'm saying this, I don't know, maybe to bore you,
- 24:58Speaker 5: maybe to hold myself accountable, but you're my familia, right,
- 25:01Speaker 5: you are my amigos. You guys are the valdez VIPs,
- 25:05Speaker 5: and it's important for you, guys, in my opinion, to
- 25:08Speaker 5: know this is how we make our connection. This is
- 25:10Speaker 5: why I love you and you love me. It's like
- 25:12Speaker 5: we're Barney over here if we don't have these moments
- 25:16Speaker 5: of clarity, right, And that's what it's about. It's about
- 25:19Speaker 5: clarity and discipline. Clarity, discipline, repeat. And I learned that
- 25:24Speaker 5: from my pastor as well. Clarity, discipline, repeat. And I'm
- 25:28Speaker 5: trying to remind myself of that, and I figured if
- 25:30Speaker 5: it's it was a benefit to me, it can be
- 25:31Speaker 5: a benefit to you. Anyway. Straight ahead, we're gonna have
- 25:35Speaker 5: a throwback Thursday segment about parents that are freaking out
- 25:38Speaker 5: about what's going on in schools and then a crazy topic.
- 25:43Speaker 5: I'll get into it at the end of the next
- 25:44Speaker 5: segment a little bit to tease it. But there are
- 25:48Speaker 5: some sick people out there, some sick people that will
- 25:50Speaker 5: do some sick things sometimes even with their own family.
- 25:55Speaker 5: Wild stuff. All right, he goes, This was a quick one.
- 25:58Speaker 5: I just want to say hi, and by of course, hey,
- 26:00Speaker 5: if you want to give me a call, you want
- 26:01Speaker 5: to chime in, you know the number eight seven seven
- 26:03Speaker 5: VALDESZ one, eight seven seven VALDESZ one. You too can
- 26:07Speaker 5: join our late night national town hall conversation. It is Thursday,
- 26:11Speaker 5: but it's feeling like a Friday. I'm not gonna lie.
- 26:13Speaker 5: I'm already letting my hair down. I'm gonna go pour
- 26:16Speaker 5: myself some coffee. I'm coming right back. Don't go anywhere.
- 26:19Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 27:33Speaker 3: H right, all right, America.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Welcome back, Rich Valdes. Valdes with that ask. And we're
- 27:45Speaker 5: talking about this teacher right because the parents rose up.
- 27:48Speaker 5: They decided, you know what, we're gonna do what we
- 27:51Speaker 5: gotta do. We're gonna tell people how we feel. We're
- 27:53Speaker 5: gonna let the school board know we're shocked that this
- 27:56Speaker 5: guy got caught with his hand in the cookie jar,
- 27:59Speaker 5: caught red handed. I would say, with his pants down,
- 28:02Speaker 5: but I don't want to see that guy even visualize
- 28:04Speaker 5: that guy with his pants down if you saw the video,
- 28:06Speaker 5: My goodness. This guy was wearing a black tank top
- 28:10Speaker 5: with a hammer and a sickle and one of those
- 28:12Speaker 5: paper boy caps, which I tend to wear when I
- 28:14Speaker 5: go in cognito, but I look way better in it
- 28:17Speaker 5: than Homeboy did. And he had these like yellow tinted glasses.
- 28:20Speaker 5: But the hammer and sickle did it for me on
- 28:23Speaker 5: this extra large sized tank top that fit him like
- 28:26Speaker 5: a dress. And he was there with his wife and
- 28:27Speaker 5: his golden retriever, and it was just a beautiful moment
- 28:30Speaker 5: when the Project ferratask guy was asking him for a reaction,
- 28:34Speaker 5: but the parents spoke up, and I think it's family
- 28:37Speaker 5: that's so important. These families are fighting to keep America
- 28:41Speaker 5: alive and this is a matter of life and death.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Now you're thinking, rich, no, it's not that serious. Nobody's
- 28:49Speaker 5: dropping dead because they're becoming a totalitarian liberal. No, But
- 28:55Speaker 5: America as we know it is dying, and it's that
- 29:00Speaker 5: future that we thought we had for our children that's
- 29:03Speaker 5: becoming darker and bleaker and more grim. We need to
- 29:07Speaker 5: stand up, we need to represent, we need to do
- 29:09Speaker 5: the right thing. And these parents did that, and I'm
- 29:13Speaker 5: glad that they did because what he did was unacceptable.
- 29:18Speaker 5: So here's the first one cut number sixteen. Check this out.
- 29:21Speaker 5: The mom. This is an African American woman. She's at
- 29:24Speaker 5: the Natomas Unified School District meeting in Sacramento just last week,
- 29:29Speaker 5: and she says, in thirteen days, this teacher was allowed
- 29:33Speaker 5: to change my kid's name and change my kid's mind.
- 29:37Speaker 5: Excuse me with this fascist crap.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 29:40Speaker 8: As her parent is to protect her from anybody that
- 29:45Speaker 8: has ill will towards her, so being that this is
- 29:48Speaker 8: her first year at this high school that is world
- 29:53Speaker 8: renowned and everybody knows about this school. It's so perfect
- 29:57Speaker 8: and everybody does everything right. The first time my daughter
- 30:00Speaker 8: tells me and she goes against my wishes to come
- 30:04Speaker 8: out of a classroom, that's disruptive to her well being.
- 30:09Speaker 8: I have an issue. I am very articulate. My children
- 30:14Speaker 8: are very well read. They speak their opinion. They make
- 30:18Speaker 8: sure that they are clear in what they do and
- 30:21Speaker 8: do not like and for the fact that my seventeen
- 30:24Speaker 8: year old daughter had to come to me and said, Mom,
- 30:27Speaker 8: you don't understand. He's let me explain. This means that
- 30:32Speaker 8: in two weeks, in thirteen days, he was allowed to
- 30:37Speaker 8: change my daughter's mind about some fascist crap that y'all
- 30:41Speaker 8: have let in this school.
- 30:48Speaker 4: I'm tired.
- 30:49Speaker 8: This is ridiculous. I'm from Texas, so this don't go
- 30:55Speaker 8: on in Texas. This does not go on in Texas.
- 31:00Speaker 8: They are two great higher than California. Period. So to
- 31:04Speaker 8: think that my very sound minded daughter would go against
- 31:08Speaker 8: me and my wishes and our values in our home
- 31:11Speaker 8: to be able to go and support this man, and
- 31:15Speaker 8: he is putting her.
- 31:15Speaker 1: In harm's way?
- 31:16Speaker 8: What the hell are y'all doing?
- 31:21Speaker 1: I'm tired.
- 31:22Speaker 8: How long does it have to go on before somebody
- 31:25Speaker 8: says something?
- 31:27Speaker 4: How long?
- 31:29Speaker 8: How long?
- 31:30Speaker 5: What are you gonna do?
- 31:31Speaker 1: That's the question.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Get him out of here?
- 31:34Speaker 8: We don't care about this boy.
- 31:36Speaker 1: He got to go.
- 31:39Speaker 5: Kudos to this mom. What are you going to do?
- 31:42Speaker 5: That's the question? Get him out of here. We don't
- 31:45Speaker 5: effing care about this guy. He's got to go. Absolutely
- 31:51Speaker 5: extremely well, said the passion genuine She's right on target,
- 31:56Speaker 5: just like Rory Lowe, another mom, white woman Unified school
- 32:00Speaker 5: district at the same meeting, talking about Gabriel Geipe, the
- 32:04Speaker 5: teacher that was caught by Project Veritash. She says he's
- 32:07Speaker 5: a predator. Check this out.
- 32:09Speaker 9: I find his teaching methods to be similar to those
- 32:12Speaker 9: of grooming. He is an authority figure whose life experiences
- 32:15Speaker 9: and intellect far outweigh those of his students. Prior to
- 32:19Speaker 9: this meeting, I had heard at least one of his
- 32:21Speaker 9: students come to his defense, arguing that he is an intelligent, kind,
- 32:24Speaker 9: helpful person and does not and does give two sides
- 32:27Speaker 9: to his lectures. I have no doubt that some of
- 32:30Speaker 9: his students do, in fact feel this way. As far
- 32:32Speaker 9: as I can tell from his video, mister Guipe is
- 32:34Speaker 9: a predator of sorts. Predators predators often possess all of
- 32:40Speaker 9: these qualities. It is how they gain trust. When a
- 32:43Speaker 9: child trusts the person in front of them, manipulating that
- 32:46Speaker 9: child becomes that much easier. Shaming students who do not
- 32:50Speaker 9: subscribe to his radical views seems acceptable to him in
- 32:53Speaker 9: his environment, but let's be clear, it is not. It
- 32:56Speaker 9: is not acceptable to ridicule, name call, or disregard a
- 33:00Speaker 9: student their parents, or any of the religious beliefs that
- 33:03Speaker 9: may drive their actions or beliefs, simply because they do
- 33:06Speaker 9: not coincide with his. This man is a danger to
- 33:09Speaker 9: the minds of these children, and I asked that the
- 33:11Speaker 9: district revisit their vetting process for future hires.
- 33:14Speaker 3: They do.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Absolutely right. Then another dad, He says, you know what,
- 33:21Speaker 5: We're gathered here today because we have teachers who've decided
- 33:25Speaker 5: to become indoctrinators, not educators. And that's the challenge. One
- 33:30Speaker 5: of the challenges I saw tonight was that the teachers'
- 33:33Speaker 5: union decided not to show up and defend this teacher.
- 33:36Speaker 5: The question is how many other teachers and actions have
- 33:41Speaker 5: done the same thing in the past, and have been
- 33:43Speaker 5: defended in the past and haven't been appropriately dealt with.
- 33:47Speaker 5: I would encourage all teachers within the sound of my
- 33:50Speaker 5: voice to reevaluate their membership within the Thomas Teachers Association
- 33:55Speaker 5: Association of California. These two organizations. I think he's reading
- 34:00Speaker 5: the transcript. I think he was saying nat Thomas, which
- 34:03Speaker 5: is the name of the town Natomas. He goes on
- 34:06Speaker 5: to say, these two organizations do more harm to the
- 34:09Speaker 5: education of our kids than most other organizations in the
- 34:12Speaker 5: whole state. We've got to give parents a chance to
- 34:16Speaker 5: choose for the best of their kids education, for their opportunities,
- 34:20Speaker 5: and for their future. Well said dad, And this last
- 34:23Speaker 5: one I want to play for you as a dad
- 34:25Speaker 5: at the NA Thomas Unified School District meeting in Sacramento,
- 34:29Speaker 5: and he says, this is our fault. We let this
- 34:34Speaker 5: board slide too often, and that struck a chord with me.
- 34:38Speaker 10: Check this out in his own video, he said, there's
- 34:41Speaker 10: other teachers at this district, at that school that share
- 34:45Speaker 10: his same beliefs and teach them the same way he does.
- 34:49Speaker 10: I also want to turn this around and get a
- 34:52Speaker 10: little people mad at me. It is your guy's fault,
- 34:54Speaker 10: but it's also the parent's fault. When common Core came out,
- 34:58Speaker 10: we let you slide. All this sexual ed came out, we.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Let you slide.
- 35:02Speaker 10: I don't think there's time for anymore and for all
- 35:05Speaker 10: these people to be shocked somehow that Antifa is new
- 35:08Speaker 10: or hasn't been around.
- 35:09Speaker 5: You've had a.
- 35:10Speaker 10: Bunch of proud patriots standing the front line against these
- 35:14Speaker 10: commye bastards for quite a long time, and you've allowed
- 35:18Speaker 10: the fake news to destroy them instead. Of destroying the communists.
- 35:22Speaker 10: It's all part of a bigger plan. You guys should
- 35:25Speaker 10: be held responsible. Honestly, I'd be ashamed to go out
- 35:27Speaker 10: and get coffee tomorrow morning. You really, I mean when
- 35:31Speaker 10: you think about the history of this country and what
- 35:33Speaker 10: we used to do to folks that would do something
- 35:36Speaker 10: such as child abuse to our children, and that man's
- 35:39Speaker 10: still enjoying life right now.
- 35:42Speaker 5: Unfortunately, you guys have a.
- 35:44Speaker 10: Lot to do. And I again, I don't know what
- 35:46Speaker 10: the community is going to do, but I challenge the
- 35:48Speaker 10: community right now. If I come back in six weeks,
- 35:52Speaker 10: I want to see just as many people here until
- 35:53Speaker 10: they actually fix this. And maybe you people on this
- 35:56Speaker 10: board are the wrong people to be here, but again,
- 36:00Speaker 10: it's been people fighting this for quite a long time,
- 36:03Speaker 10: and they've been the ones that's been the bad guy.
- 36:05Speaker 10: It's time to change this. I tell everybody that's in
- 36:07Speaker 10: this thing, it's time to.
- 36:09Speaker 5: Come back and take America back.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Wooo.
- 36:15Speaker 5: Kudos to that dad, he nailed it. These commedy bastards,
- 36:19Speaker 5: we've let them slide too many times. All too often
- 36:22Speaker 5: we've allowed our children to be sacrificed and be the
- 36:26Speaker 5: unintended consequence the collateral damage of this culture war, and
- 36:33Speaker 5: that's not acceptable.
- 36:34Speaker 3: We have to do something. I always tell.
- 36:37Speaker 5: You, you have to stand for something, because if you stand
- 36:41Speaker 5: for nothing, you'll fall for anything. And that's from Hamilton.
- 36:46Speaker 5: We have to take a stand against these people. I
- 36:48Speaker 5: spent eight and a half years as a school board
- 36:51Speaker 5: member at the Beloved Community Charter School in Jersey City,
- 36:54Speaker 5: New Jersey, a school I'm incredibly proud to have built.
- 36:57Speaker 5: I'm one of the founding members of the school and
- 37:02Speaker 5: it's an honor to have been able to do it
- 37:04Speaker 5: because I've seen what it's produced. I've seen the scholars
- 37:06Speaker 5: that have come out of there. Now there's a middle
- 37:08Speaker 5: school and a high school, all in less than a
- 37:11Speaker 5: decade or just close to a decade. Phenomenal work. Big
- 37:15Speaker 5: shout out to Brett Shundler and everybody, all of the faculty,
- 37:19Speaker 5: of course, the scholars and their parents, because that's who
- 37:21Speaker 5: makes the school and it's a joint effort.
- 37:25Speaker 3: But they did it right.
- 37:27Speaker 5: They believed in a beloved community, and that's what I
- 37:31Speaker 5: think we all need to embrace and believe in. Is
- 37:33Speaker 5: the same thing, a beloved community. Put the hate aside
- 37:36Speaker 5: and figure out, how are we going to save our children.
- 37:38Speaker 5: How are we going to save our country, How we're
- 37:40Speaker 5: going to unify ourselves so that we become stronger and
- 37:42Speaker 5: get out of this as winners, not as losers. The
- 37:47Speaker 5: other day I had a conversation with two people, and
- 37:50Speaker 5: I might have said this already, and if I did,
- 37:52Speaker 5: I'm saying it again. I'm probably going to say this
- 37:53Speaker 5: every day until somebody gets it. You're on a boat,
- 37:58Speaker 5: a boat named America, and the boat has a hundred
- 38:01Speaker 5: holes in it, and you're plugging. You've got, you know,
- 38:04Speaker 5: one foot on one hole, another foot on another hole,
- 38:06Speaker 5: got one hand on another hole. Now you're spread out
- 38:09Speaker 5: like you're playing twister. You're plugging these holes as best
- 38:12Speaker 5: you can. You're throwing your head into another hole. You
- 38:15Speaker 5: need more people to plug more holes to save America
- 38:18Speaker 5: from sinking. Or do you say screw it, I'm not
- 38:23Speaker 5: plugging any holes. I'm letting this go down. America goes down,
- 38:27Speaker 5: and I will rebuild America. Sadly, there's too many people
- 38:31Speaker 5: that think that's patriotic. There is nothing patriotic in letting
- 38:35Speaker 5: your ship go down.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 38:37Speaker 5: We need all hands on deck to plug these holes,
- 38:40Speaker 5: to permanently plug them, to fix them to be there.
- 38:42Speaker 5: When another hole springs open, We've got more patriots. They
- 38:46Speaker 5: are ready to plug it up. Keep recruiting the patriots,
- 38:49Speaker 5: keep getting them on board. This ship cannot sink because
- 38:53Speaker 5: we'll never have a chance to rebuild it never.
- 38:56Speaker 3: But it's up to you.
- 38:57Speaker 5: Oh and hold up, Hold up, skirts, skirts, skirts, Hold
- 39:00Speaker 5: on one second before we go any further, wait till
- 39:03Speaker 5: you hear what we talk about in the next segment.
- 39:05Speaker 5: There's this thing called hold on my notes here GSA
- 39:12Speaker 5: genetic sexual attraction. If you've never heard of it, that's okay,
- 39:17Speaker 5: it's probably a good thing. I had never heard of
- 39:18Speaker 5: it either until I read about it earlier and I said,
- 39:20Speaker 5: oh my gosh, this is crazy, so crazy. I got
- 39:23Speaker 5: to bring it to my thumdia so you guys can
- 39:25Speaker 5: hear about this because this is wild stuff. And let
- 39:28Speaker 5: me tell you, there are some sick people out there,
- 39:31Speaker 5: very sick people out there. There are a lot of sicknesses, illnesses,
- 39:35Speaker 5: different types of I'm going to dare say, demonic possession
- 39:38Speaker 5: that exists that I had no idea existed. So keep
- 39:43Speaker 5: it locked right here, because this segment coming up, it's
- 39:45Speaker 5: not a throwback, it's brand New I experienced this today
- 39:50Speaker 5: in real life in twenty twenty six, the fifteenth of January,
- 39:55Speaker 5: and it was a crazy, crazy thing that I read,
- 39:58Speaker 5: and then I went down the rabbit hole found dot
- 40:00Speaker 5: to Drew saw this thing on TV. It was just wild. Anyway,
- 40:04Speaker 5: keep it locked right here. We got more to come.
- 40:05Speaker 5: Straight ahead, don't go anywhere.
- 40:08Speaker 1: This is America, this is America.
- 41:18Speaker 5: He's making podcasting great again.
- 41:21Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 41:26Speaker 5: All right, and he goes, welcome back. It's rich Valdez
- 41:28Speaker 5: Valdez with an ass at Rich Valdes on all of
- 41:30Speaker 5: the social media. And I want to get into this
- 41:34Speaker 5: conversation because I was watching a show. There was a
- 41:37Speaker 5: show years ago on the Spanish channel called Casso serralo
- 41:40Speaker 5: which means case closed, and it was a woman who
- 41:43Speaker 5: was a lawyer and you know, the JD Doctor of Puristprudence,
- 41:47Speaker 5: and she was the judge on the show. So it
- 41:51Speaker 5: was like a judge show in Spanish on one of
- 41:54Speaker 5: the Spanish networks, Cuman Lady out of Miami. Very funny,
- 41:58Speaker 5: very cool, and it was a very just fun show. Well,
- 42:04Speaker 5: I was watching the reruns. Amazon Prime has a like
- 42:08Speaker 5: you know, Live TV now and one of the channels
- 42:11Speaker 5: that they play they did just continuously play her program
- 42:14Speaker 5: on is the Caso Serrado channel, and I clicked yes,
- 42:20Speaker 5: and you know, I said, oh interesting, So I'm watching it.
- 42:25Speaker 5: And the very first story I see is a fascinatingly
- 42:32Speaker 5: crazy story. Let me see if I can get some note.
- 42:35Speaker 5: I took some notes. This man is there next to
- 42:39Speaker 5: a woman. The guy looks like he's my age forty something,
- 42:41Speaker 5: fifty two, fifty three, fifty four, you know that that age.
- 42:46Speaker 5: And then there's a girl a lot younger than him,
- 42:48Speaker 5: maybe my kid's age. And then there's another woman on
- 42:52Speaker 5: the other side who's suing that guy. And the girl
- 42:56Speaker 5: is I guess a witness for the guy anyway, if
- 42:59Speaker 5: you're following. So they start talking and the judge is like,
- 43:04Speaker 5: what what say that again? And they explain it again
- 43:08Speaker 5: and explain it again, and she has to get a
- 43:12Speaker 5: like real clarification here, and she's like, hold on, you
- 43:17Speaker 5: are this woman's because she's in her twenties right, And
- 43:22Speaker 5: she says, you are this person's biological mother. And the
- 43:26Speaker 5: lady says, yes, I am, she says, and that guy
- 43:29Speaker 5: right there standing next to her is the person that
- 43:33Speaker 5: I conceived her with that is her father, and both
- 43:37Speaker 5: the father and the daughter both shake their head.
- 43:41Speaker 10: No.
- 43:41Speaker 5: The daughter starts going off out of turn, telling the judge, no, no, no,
- 43:46Speaker 5: you don't understand. I didn't grow up with these people.
- 43:49Speaker 5: I've never seen these people until I met them, and
- 43:53Speaker 5: I just met them. So there's no, there's no, none
- 43:58Speaker 5: of that, no funny business. Well it goes on. Turns
- 44:05Speaker 5: out this young lady falls in love with the guy
- 44:07Speaker 5: that is her biological father, and the mother, the other mother,
- 44:13Speaker 5: she finds out about it, and now she's like, this
- 44:16Speaker 5: can't happen. This is wrong, this is bad. I don't
- 44:18Speaker 5: want you guys doing this, and nobody seems to care.
- 44:23Speaker 5: So I was looking at like, man, is this real?
- 44:27Speaker 5: And at least in my cursory search the craziest stuff,
- 44:31Speaker 5: here's what I came up with. There was a case
- 44:34Speaker 5: this happens every now and again, but the again, it's
- 44:38Speaker 5: hard to find, very very tragic. But when it does happen,
- 44:41Speaker 5: it happens because of something called GSA genetic sexual attraction.
- 44:47Speaker 5: This is a phenomenon that sometimes experiences excuse me that
- 44:52Speaker 5: it is sometimes experienced by a reunited adult family member
- 44:56Speaker 5: who meets after a long separation and experiences sexual attraction. Crazy, right,
- 45:04Speaker 5: it is recognized and complex. It is a psychological issue. Man.
- 45:10Speaker 5: I read that, and I thought, this is tough not
- 45:12Speaker 5: only for the people that have to deal with this,
- 45:14Speaker 5: but all these people that try to deal with this
- 45:17Speaker 5: in their own real life. Now I know what you're thinking.
- 45:20Speaker 5: You're thinking in their own real life. Who's dealing with
- 45:23Speaker 5: this in their real life? You show me where these
- 45:25Speaker 5: people are that are falling in love with their biological children.
- 45:29Speaker 5: And before I go any further, I want to take
- 45:31Speaker 5: a minute to play a clip from Doctor Drew's show.
- 45:36Speaker 5: Remember Doctor Drew from Love Lines, Doctor Drew and Adam
- 45:39Speaker 5: Carolla that Doctor Drew from MTV. Well, Doctor Drew was
- 45:43Speaker 5: talking about this on his TV show a long time
- 45:45Speaker 5: ago with two of his producers, like after the show
- 45:49Speaker 5: in the green room, and this conversation is truly wild.
- 45:53Speaker 5: Check this out.
- 45:54Speaker 11: Well, you're talking about this incest thing was just awful yea,
- 45:58Speaker 11: which was was genital.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Sexual sexual attraction. I still don't understand where the parents
- 46:08Speaker 5: come from.
- 46:08Speaker 8: Because we had that woman that was on the show
- 46:10Speaker 8: and she said she had those feelings for her son,
- 46:12Speaker 8: but she didn't act on them, thankfully, But where I
- 46:14Speaker 8: mean is this a misplaced love?
- 46:16Speaker 11: It's something it's the kind of thing that sometimes people
- 46:19Speaker 11: feel for their therapists when they're in therapy. They eroticize
- 46:23Speaker 11: the relationship, they raticize the longing for the holding and
- 46:26Speaker 11: the closeness, and it becomes it's a misplaced sexualization. It's
- 46:30Speaker 11: for people that have deficiencies in these things that they
- 46:32Speaker 11: just sort of get too swept into it and they
- 46:34Speaker 11: want to it's sort of you know, there's very ways
- 46:37Speaker 11: of people are very s theorious about where this goes,
- 46:39Speaker 11: where what the biology is, but ultimately becomes a fusion fantasy.
- 46:43Speaker 11: And we're not We're not apology just because I write
- 46:46Speaker 11: some of the tweets by us calling it g s A.
- 46:48Speaker 10: We are not making excuse or apologize it.
- 46:53Speaker 5: And that's what's infurial.
- 46:54Speaker 11: Well, we made the point that a more more global
- 46:58Speaker 11: point that people need to contain the impulses.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Plato was right, man, the emotions or this out of control.
- 47:04Speaker 11: Chariot being pulled by horses, you got to be the
- 47:06Speaker 11: driver of that chariot.
- 47:08Speaker 8: I'm really applaud the woman that came on your show
- 47:10Speaker 8: and admitted that she had these feelings, but she did
- 47:12Speaker 8: not act on them.
- 47:13Speaker 1: And I think more people that may be in that
- 47:15Speaker 1: situation that she is in need to hear what she's saying,
- 47:18Speaker 1: because then they know, Okay, what I'm feeling is wrong.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Someone else felt this way.
- 47:22Speaker 3: But guess what, I'm gonna go get treatment.
- 47:26Speaker 5: Going to get treatment sounds like a good idea and
- 47:28Speaker 5: not acting on those impulses. Again, that's doctor Drew Pinski
- 47:31Speaker 5: and his two producers talking about this a number of
- 47:34Speaker 5: years ago. It is a very old clip, but I
- 47:38Speaker 5: was fascinated by this topicause again one of those things
- 47:40Speaker 5: you didn't know existed until I was today years old
- 47:43Speaker 5: when I found out that this was an actual thing. Wild.
- 47:49Speaker 5: But I continue, Well, like I said, I was looking
- 47:52Speaker 5: this thing up and apparently there was a case, a
- 47:54Speaker 5: very famous case, and I thought to myself, hmm, this
- 48:00Speaker 5: is pretty wild. Let me see if I find it
- 48:04Speaker 5: all right, So listen to this. This is a Google Gemini.
- 48:07Speaker 5: While rare, there are documented new cases of biological family members,
- 48:11Speaker 5: including parents and children separated by adoption and reconnecting as adults,
- 48:17Speaker 5: either unknowingly or knowingly, and entering into romantic relationships. This
- 48:23Speaker 5: phenomenon is often attributed to genetic sexual assault. No, I'm sorry,
- 48:30Speaker 5: genetic sexual attraction. I read that before, and this is
- 48:34Speaker 5: one of the more prominent cases of this actually happening.
- 48:39Speaker 5: In a widely reported case, twenty year old Katie Plato
- 48:42Speaker 5: is it Plato or platyl Pladel, I don't know, pla
- 48:45Speaker 5: dl Plato reconnected with her biological father, Stephen, after being
- 48:52Speaker 5: given up for adoption as an infant. After Katie turned eighteen,
- 48:56Speaker 5: she moved in with her biological parents. Shortly thereafter, Stephen
- 49:00Speaker 5: and his wife separated and he began a sexual relationship
- 49:04Speaker 5: with Katie, his blood daughter. The two eventually quote unquote
- 49:11Speaker 5: married one another and had a child together before they
- 49:15Speaker 5: were arrested for incest Lord of Mercy. The case ended
- 49:21Speaker 5: in a tragedy in April of twenty eighteen when Stephen
- 49:27Speaker 5: killed Katie. So the dad kills the daughter who is
- 49:31Speaker 5: his wife and his newlywed, his newlywed bride, and he
- 49:38Speaker 5: killed her, then he killed their infant son, he killed
- 49:42Speaker 5: her adoptive father, and then eventually he killed himself. Talk
- 49:48Speaker 5: about sick and sadistic and crazy. That is wild. I
- 49:55Speaker 5: heard that and I said, man, this is a crazy,
- 49:59Speaker 5: crazy story, and I thought it was fake. It's all
- 50:02Speaker 5: I read about it, and they're saying, you know, just
- 50:06Speaker 5: take it easy, chill, and they mean that. And there's
- 50:11Speaker 5: a couple other ones, but really that was the one
- 50:12Speaker 5: that I thought, Oh my goodness, that's disgusting. So I'm
- 50:19Speaker 5: wondering when I was watching Caso Serrado and when I
- 50:22Speaker 5: read that article, I thought to myself, well, apparently this
- 50:25Speaker 5: is actually happening. These people went and had the kid,
- 50:28Speaker 5: they gave birth to the kid, and then everybody went
- 50:32Speaker 5: crazy and died. Who's got a story like that? Eight
- 50:40Speaker 5: seven seven valdess one is the phone number. I want
- 50:43Speaker 5: to know. I want to know if you've had to
- 50:47Speaker 5: deal with this type of thing, right, little ice action,
- 50:50Speaker 5: little adoptive kid action. I mean, you got a few
- 50:55Speaker 5: things that are on the table if you want to
- 50:56Speaker 5: join in the conversation and let me know what's on
- 50:58Speaker 5: your mind. But this thing ended up in carnage, wild,
- 51:05Speaker 5: absolutely wild. So I've got to be the first to
- 51:08Speaker 5: tell you. I didn't think I knew the outcome there, right,
- 51:12Speaker 5: I think I totally didn't expect that. I was caught
- 51:16Speaker 5: off guard here. I didn't know that was a thing
- 51:19Speaker 5: and it was a thing and this guy doubled down.
- 51:23Speaker 5: It's a sad it's a crazy thing, but that's what happened,
- 51:27Speaker 5: and it for me, you know, opens up this dialogue
- 51:30Speaker 5: in my mind where I say, what's going on here?
- 51:33Speaker 5: Is it because it's so cold here? Yeah, a little bit,
- 51:36Speaker 5: but no, there's plenty of cold places where what happened
- 51:40Speaker 5: here isn't the case. I don't have an answer for
- 51:43Speaker 5: why evil is in the world, why evil exists, why
- 51:49Speaker 5: people do bad things. My hope is that you know,
- 51:54Speaker 5: you and me and others we joined together and we
- 51:58Speaker 5: hopefully don't have I have to go down that road
- 52:03Speaker 5: that the Narco terrorists live. You know, they live in
- 52:07Speaker 5: that space. This is their thing. Anyway, it's always important
- 52:16Speaker 5: for us to pay attention to what's going on and
- 52:19Speaker 5: to have these tough conversations, to look at what's going on,
- 52:22Speaker 5: to listen to what's going on, and to just be
- 52:26Speaker 5: thankful and filled with gratitude. And I, for one, I'm
- 52:31Speaker 5: always grateful for moving the needle right, moving the needle
- 52:36Speaker 5: America doesn't stay stagnant, so that's a good thing. There's
- 52:43Speaker 5: also we've been called to be informed patriots, and this
- 52:51Speaker 5: always stuck with me. Right, this Reagan thing. I talk
- 52:53Speaker 5: about it every day at the end of the show
- 52:55Speaker 5: because I think it's important. We do have to be
- 53:00Speaker 5: knowledgeable of what's going on. The old saying that if
- 53:03Speaker 5: we stand for nothing, will fall for anything. The truer
- 53:08Speaker 5: words have never been spoken. Right once you start to
- 53:11Speaker 5: see how things work. So I get that, and it
- 53:19Speaker 5: boils down to us. The only thing necessary for evil
- 53:23Speaker 5: to triumph is for good people like you to sit
- 53:25Speaker 5: there and do nothing. So it's time for you to
- 53:28Speaker 5: do something. Sometimes doing the right thing means not accepting
- 53:34Speaker 5: the crazy, right, not going down that road, not normalizing that,
- 53:42Speaker 5: because the minute you start to normalize the indefensible, the crazy,
- 53:49Speaker 5: the less defensible, it becomes right. It loses it's zeal.
- 53:57Speaker 5: If you will anyway, I start approxym my take care,
- 54:02Speaker 5: good night, and God bless you America. I'm rich child as.
- 54:07Speaker 1: This is America.
- 55:00Speaker 4: Stats assasssssssssssss
- 55:35Speaker 11: S attatatatas
