- 1:29Speaker 1: On this Oh Willie Wednesday edition, The Aggies go to
- 1:35Speaker 1: South Bend to take on Notre Dame Saturday night in
- 1:40Speaker 1: front of a national TV audience with NBC, Noah Eagle,
- 1:45Speaker 1: Todd Blackledgend, Catherine Tappan, which we learned yesterday Scott that
- 1:52Speaker 1: they have a big ten Saturday night on NBC.
- 1:57Speaker 6: And then wait a minute.
- 1:59Speaker 1: This isn't it. I'm not saying this is it, but
- 2:01Speaker 1: this because Notre Dame is playing a night game. This
- 2:05Speaker 1: pushes out their big ten Saturday night games.
- 2:08Speaker 6: Somebody, wouldn't it produce on Peacock?
- 2:11Speaker 1: Produce played usc It's on Peacock. Okay, So the regular
- 2:16Speaker 1: Notre Dame announcers, right, if this game would have been
- 2:20Speaker 1: in the afternoon, we got Pat Hayden, Right, No, no,
- 2:24Speaker 1: he's he's been gone for years. He's been gone for years.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Uh what Jason Garrett, Dan Hicks, Jason.
- 2:32Speaker 6: Jason Garret's pretty good. Yeah, No, I liked it.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Jason Garrett, he is pretty good. We know he's very smart,
- 2:38Speaker 1: but but yeah, he's pretty good.
- 2:41Speaker 6: Uh. I like Todd.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I like Todd Blacklynch. I've always liked Todd Blacklynch. He's
- 2:45Speaker 1: been doing it forever. I like Catherine Tappan. She does hockey.
- 2:49Speaker 1: She is there there on ice reporter for hockey Okay.
- 2:53Speaker 6: What's that hockey?
- 2:55Speaker 1: And she's she's very good. I haven't seen her in football,
- 2:58Speaker 1: so we'll see. And I don't know anything about Noah Eagle.
- 3:02Speaker 6: Who am I?
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm just assuming that I'm right that he is the
- 3:06Speaker 1: son of longtime play by play guy I An Eagle.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Okay, how old is Noah Eagle? Does it? Say?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Caleb twenty eight? And he's doing Notre Dame football.
- 3:16Speaker 6: You've seen the Vince Vaughn Owen Wilson commercials for this game? No,
- 3:25Speaker 6: for NBC for a promo? Yes, no, I haven't because
- 3:28Speaker 6: Vince Vaughn is a huge Notre Dame fan, and Owen
- 3:31Speaker 6: Wilson is like, I'm from Texas. I'm leaving and he's like, no,
- 3:36Speaker 6: I've got multicasts and we can watch all those different things.
- 3:39Speaker 6: That's what it's for, okay. And oh He's like, oh, well,
- 3:42Speaker 6: if you're going to show the game like this, and
- 3:44Speaker 6: I'll stay okay, And he says, have you ever had
- 3:48Speaker 6: Vince Vaughn says, have you ever had avocado pancakes before?
- 3:53Speaker 6: And he looks at he says, well, you're about to,
- 3:56Speaker 6: but it's just kind of interesting that you know, this
- 4:00Speaker 6: is one of those games SEC versus Notre that just
- 4:05Speaker 6: brought it up. I'll have to watch it later, yes,
- 4:07Speaker 6: but it's just one of those things pop start. Yeah,
- 4:13Speaker 6: that hopefully, like Week one and here in Week three,
- 4:22Speaker 6: and like Oklahoma and Michigan, we see games like this
- 4:27Speaker 6: repopulate into the early college football season because these are
- 4:34Speaker 6: good for the game. And if they're not going to
- 4:36Speaker 6: be held against you in the playoff and your strength
- 4:40Speaker 6: of schedule and who you played is actually going.
- 4:42Speaker 1: To match what they say, we'll see if it's true.
- 4:45Speaker 6: If it works out that way, we can see more
- 4:47Speaker 6: games like this, and that is what I want to see.
- 4:51Speaker 6: I want to see good games.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I was watching Marcus Freeman with maybe it was Joel
- 4:58Speaker 1: Klatt talk about the fact that Notre Dame is concerned
- 5:04Speaker 1: because the Big Ten and SEC are going to be
- 5:07Speaker 1: playing each other mandated right by the leagues in non
- 5:11Speaker 1: conference games.
- 5:12Speaker 6: That has not been done yet.
- 5:14Speaker 1: It hasn't but if if if Greg sank he wants
- 5:18Speaker 1: it to happen, you could guarantee it's going to happen.
- 5:21Speaker 6: And so yeah, he.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Made he made a statement that was interesting, Marcus Freeman
- 5:28Speaker 1: that we may have to go to a conference. He
- 5:33Speaker 1: said we we he said, I'm not speaking for anybody.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I'm just saying because of what could be happening, and
- 5:39Speaker 1: we're going to be shut out of those kind of games, right,
- 5:43Speaker 1: that we may have to go to a conference.
- 5:45Speaker 6: So I thought that was an interesting statement. Yeah. Uh,
- 5:48Speaker 6: and he may be right. We don't.
- 5:49Speaker 1: We don't know how, but we'll It's going to be
- 5:52Speaker 1: interesting Scott, because they swear, Hey, not only we're not
- 5:55Speaker 1: holding these losses against you, we're giving you props for
- 5:59Speaker 1: playing right, these games in non conference play. Right, Yes,
- 6:04Speaker 1: you're you're gonna be not penalized. You're you're, you're you're
- 6:08Speaker 1: gonna be rewarded for playing those games.
- 6:11Speaker 6: If you don't play the schedule Indiana plays, you can
- 6:14Speaker 6: be rewarded.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yes, yes, so it's you know, hey, if I'm Indiana,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm playing that schedule too.
- 6:21Speaker 6: I understand that. But it's a bad look. You know what.
- 6:24Speaker 6: I will say this? Uh.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The Kansas State coach got away with it his entire career.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Different game, yes, different era, no question. It was about wins,
- 6:36Speaker 1: no question, right, no doubt.
- 6:38Speaker 6: But then to call out the SEC that you're not
- 6:40Speaker 6: playing anybody. All I'm seeing is SEC playing you know,
- 6:45Speaker 6: pretty good teams.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Yeah, and I've got I've got that whole thing here.
- 6:50Speaker 6: I think I brought it in. I hope I did
- 6:52Speaker 6: the SEC.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Uh yeah, let me let me look at SEC. Okay,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm just gonna call out tea not not games.
- 7:02Speaker 6: Just just teams that are schedules. Okay.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Uh, let's see. We got Florida State. Uh, we know
- 7:15Speaker 1: we had, uh, Ohio State, Auburn played at Baylor. Florida's
- 7:23Speaker 1: playing at Miami. Uh, they've want to rethink that.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Uh, they're playing in Florida State at the end.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Georgia plays Georgia Tech.
- 7:31Speaker 6: I'm saying Florida plays Florida State at the end.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yes, and Florida State yes, Kentucky do o. Yes, they
- 7:41Speaker 1: played Louisville l s U opened at Clemson. Right.
- 7:47Speaker 6: We know that Mississippi State played Arizona State, Yes they
- 7:53Speaker 6: did Mississippihu's Mississippi.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Played Mississippi doesn't play I don't so there's anybody so
- 8:00Speaker 1: that's actually actually they're hosting to Lane And if so,
- 8:05Speaker 1: if you want to throw in Louisville and those other
- 8:07Speaker 1: two Lane is right there with them, right, two Lane's
- 8:09Speaker 1: good this year. Uh so their hosting that's their game,
- 8:12Speaker 1: right and they know how State. But yes, they're they're
- 8:15Speaker 1: playing they're playing two lane. And I'm looking at Missouri
- 8:18Speaker 1: with Central they play Kansas, Yes, right, just last week
- 8:23Speaker 1: that was that was their game. We know Oklahoma played Michigan.
- 8:28Speaker 1: We know South Carolina plays Clemson. They also opened with
- 8:32Speaker 1: Virginia Tech.
- 8:33Speaker 7: Uh.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Tennessee opened against Syracuse in a neutral site game. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: you know A and M's playing Notre Dame. So yeah,
- 8:44Speaker 1: I mean there's there were decent games on on the
- 8:47Speaker 1: SEC skates.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Indiana's playing Old Dominion Kennesaw State and Indiana State. That's awful.
- 8:52Speaker 6: It's it's awful.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Uh, let's talk about Saturday night. What has to happen
- 8:58Speaker 1: Saturday night?
- 9:02Speaker 6: A and M and second and third and long cannot
- 9:07Speaker 6: give up first down running them of Notre Dame running
- 9:10Speaker 6: the football. It's that simple. You can't give up first
- 9:16Speaker 6: downs when you have them behind the chains on second
- 9:19Speaker 6: and third down. And that's a challenge for you now
- 9:24Speaker 6: because you don't get if on second and nine you
- 9:28Speaker 6: give up eight yards cash is how isn't getting after
- 9:31Speaker 6: the quarterback on second? On third and nine are third
- 9:35Speaker 6: and twelve? Okay, your cornerbacks who are playing good football
- 9:43Speaker 6: are not then are succeptible to you know, looking in
- 9:49Speaker 6: the backfield seeing him, I do have to be in
- 9:50Speaker 6: run sport. And then on third and one Notre Dame
- 9:54Speaker 6: throws it over the top instead of even going for
- 9:56Speaker 6: a rushing play. Okay, you can't be third in twelve
- 10:00Speaker 6: and give up a fourteen yard gain that even if
- 10:04Speaker 6: the drive stalls in that going up against a Notre
- 10:07Speaker 6: Dame defense, Whereas I still expect him to play pretty
- 10:10Speaker 6: good football against A and M. You can't give up
- 10:13Speaker 6: fourteen yards and hidden yardage because you didn't hold him
- 10:17Speaker 6: on the previous the third and fourteen, even if you
- 10:21Speaker 6: stop him on the next drive. A and M cannot
- 10:23Speaker 6: get gashed in the run on second and third and
- 10:29Speaker 6: long by Notre Dame.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Well, I think it goes both ways. I think you know,
- 10:36Speaker 1: it is a line of scrimmage game we saw last year.
- 10:44Speaker 6: I know that A and M is going to see.
- 10:47Speaker 1: A lot of Jeremiah Love unless they could just totally
- 10:51Speaker 1: shut him down for like three quarters or whatever, They're
- 10:53Speaker 1: going to see a lot of him.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Right unless the scoreboard makes.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That Yeah, it's just obviously you know, but there, But
- 11:01Speaker 1: but Notre Dame is pretty conservative anyway, right, I mean,
- 11:05Speaker 1: they don't mind beating you by three points or six points.
- 11:09Speaker 6: And they don't mind running the football when it's third
- 11:11Speaker 6: and twelve.
- 11:11Speaker 1: And they're going to run the football. Yeah, even if
- 11:13Speaker 1: it's third and twelve, they're going to run the football.
- 11:16Speaker 1: There's no doubt they're going to run the football. And
- 11:18Speaker 1: you have to stop that.
- 11:20Speaker 6: And my general impression is at A and m is
- 11:22Speaker 6: better offensively than they were last year.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Well, I think they are, just because by virtue of
- 11:28Speaker 1: the two receivers and by Marcel being a year older,
- 11:32Speaker 1: right and.
- 11:33Speaker 6: More comfortable, and running backs that are healthy.
- 11:35Speaker 1: The running backs are you know, deep es right, So yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 1: so yes, I do think they're better offensively. I don't
- 11:43Speaker 1: know about Notre Dame yet, although I thought the line
- 11:47Speaker 1: of scrimmage against my because I thought Miami had a
- 11:49Speaker 1: terrific line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball,
- 11:52Speaker 1: and Notre Dame certainly held their own. And I think
- 11:58Speaker 1: their line of scrimmage on both sides is good. I
- 12:02Speaker 1: know last year it was. It was really really good, right,
- 12:06Speaker 1: And I don't expect a lot of drop off Saturday.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I think both sides of Notre Dame's line of scrimmage
- 12:12Speaker 1: is gonna be good. Yes, it's always been good. Even
- 12:15Speaker 1: when Notre Dame was bad. They had big guys up
- 12:19Speaker 1: front that could play.
- 12:20Speaker 6: Right. But I don't know. I don't know how good
- 12:22Speaker 6: their quarterback is going to be in the second start.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I don't either. I think that's that And I said earlier,
- 12:30Speaker 1: in my mind, there's no way the quarterback play can't
- 12:35Speaker 1: be what it was last year with Riley Leonard.
- 12:38Speaker 8: Right.
- 12:38Speaker 7: He was.
- 12:39Speaker 1: He was just very good and experienced. That's my point,
- 12:42Speaker 1: that he had a heck of a year, right. He
- 12:44Speaker 1: didn't make tons of mistakes. He ran what he had
- 12:47Speaker 1: to run.
- 12:48Speaker 6: He didn't have a good day throwing the football against
- 12:49Speaker 6: an n because he could because he could run the football,
- 12:54Speaker 6: ran the ball what he had to Yes, and he
- 12:57Speaker 6: didn't throw into mistakes. And I don't know if this
- 12:59Speaker 6: guy can.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Do that, correct, I mean, you don't know that. But
- 13:04Speaker 1: and that's you know, if there's an advantage that might
- 13:07Speaker 1: be where an advantage exists for sure.
- 13:10Speaker 6: The other thing is.
- 13:13Speaker 1: You know that Notre Dame plays a lot of man
- 13:15Speaker 1: because they have two NFL cornerbacks right that are going
- 13:19Speaker 1: to man up the outside receivers, and can you receivers
- 13:24Speaker 1: win enough of those battles or can other people you know,
- 13:28Speaker 1: step in if they blanket those guys? Can other guys can?
- 13:33Speaker 1: Can you use your tight end? Can you use your
- 13:35Speaker 1: running back? Can you use your slot guy? Right coming
- 13:37Speaker 1: in to negate what these guys are taking away? And
- 13:42Speaker 1: there if in fact they are taking that away?
- 13:45Speaker 6: And that's what was about saying, if in fact they
- 13:48Speaker 6: can cover Craver and conception, Yeah, that's But what I'm
- 13:53Speaker 6: saying is Chip Miami didn't put the Miami lost those
- 13:57Speaker 6: receivers from last year. Miami Amy's receivers from last year
- 14:01Speaker 6: went to the league. Yes, okay, yes, And now A
- 14:04Speaker 6: and M looks like they have two receivers that are
- 14:07Speaker 6: going to go play in the league. Yes, so we don't.
- 14:10Speaker 6: So we don't know if Notre Dame can cover both
- 14:12Speaker 6: of them. If I give Notre Dame the benefit of
- 14:16Speaker 6: the doubt and they cover one of them, then A
- 14:18Speaker 6: and M is still going to have a weapon and
- 14:20Speaker 6: all those players that you're talking about, Okay, A and
- 14:24Speaker 6: M has thrown to the tight end. A and M
- 14:27Speaker 6: has gone up there and done different things in short
- 14:30Speaker 6: yardage than what they did before. A and M has
- 14:34Speaker 6: given Notre Dame a lot of looks to look at.
- 14:37Speaker 6: So I just you know, I think A M is
- 14:41Speaker 6: gonna have more output offensively than they did last year.
- 14:44Speaker 6: Would they have thirteen points? Yes? Yeah, I just they
- 14:48Speaker 6: cannot what's the over under? Let me pull that up.
- 14:55Speaker 6: We don't give him any calls on that. That's that
- 14:57Speaker 6: that line is. I don't even know.
- 14:59Speaker 1: That's like the resident call, like a hot like can
- 15:01Speaker 1: we turn it off?
- 15:02Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't even know where that's coming from.
- 15:08Speaker 6: Wow, I didn't. I didn't even I hadn't even that's
- 15:10Speaker 6: a second phone line. Yeah. No, it's not supposed to
- 15:13Speaker 6: be that way.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Hey that's a that's a good song title.
- 15:16Speaker 6: It's not supposed to be that way. Yeah. I like that.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Pull that up for me, would you? We'll play that
- 15:22Speaker 6: from Willie. Let's see here. I just go to A
- 15:34Speaker 6: and M is a six and a half port underdog. Yes,
- 15:38Speaker 6: money line at two oh five yep, the total is
- 15:41Speaker 6: at forty nine and a half twenty seven. Twenty three
- 15:46Speaker 6: would cover because that was their score with Miami.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Okay, I mean I just sitting here, that seems a
- 15:54Speaker 1: little high, But we'll.
- 15:56Speaker 6: See yeah, so I just I I think it just
- 16:00Speaker 6: bowls down to that chip.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Okay, Uh, I want to look at a couple of
- 16:05Speaker 1: other things.
- 16:07Speaker 6: By the way, Yep, not saying that I am one. Okay,
- 16:14Speaker 6: because two weeks ago I said I wanted to see
- 16:18Speaker 6: the Oklahoma quarterback go out and do it against play
- 16:21Speaker 6: teams that were better than the bombs Washington State play. Yeah, Okay,
- 16:27Speaker 6: he just went and did it. He did.
- 16:32Speaker 1: People were comparing him to Baker Mayfield right in style. Yeah,
- 16:37Speaker 1: just his style in my box, right, that's what I'm saying,
- 16:40Speaker 1: you know, personality slinging gunslinger. What I said was they
- 16:48Speaker 1: haven't run the football yet, even against the Bums. Okay,
- 16:53Speaker 1: So if he is their best rushing option, which he's
- 16:58Speaker 1: been through three games, including against Michigan Matt, It's going
- 17:03Speaker 1: to be hard for him to go through a season
- 17:05Speaker 1: without getting beaten up.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Yes, right, I mean that's but is he going to
- 17:11Speaker 6: be healthy in October? Well? I don't. I don't state.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Let me see who they play at the State Fair.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Yeah, let me see who they play, Okay, because what
- 17:20Speaker 6: I saw the other day was a team better than
- 17:24Speaker 6: Oklahoma was last year, no doubt, and.
- 17:27Speaker 1: That much better defensively, their their offensive line still has issues.
- 17:33Speaker 6: They have issues right, right, and so.
- 17:36Speaker 1: That is if I'm an Oklahoma fan, that's the concern, right,
- 17:40Speaker 1: is the old lieun.
- 17:42Speaker 6: Because he's running away. Yeah, and then he's making some
- 17:44Speaker 6: places out of that correct, but he's making some plays
- 17:47Speaker 6: out he did, he did? Okay, so give me a
- 17:49Speaker 6: you schedule upcoming.
- 17:51Speaker 1: They play at Temple this weekend. They're a heavy favorite. Uh,
- 17:55Speaker 1: they host Auburn, Okay, they have an open date, and
- 18:00Speaker 1: then they host Kent State before the Texas game. So
- 18:04Speaker 1: they have a really good schedule like the Longhorns leading
- 18:08Speaker 1: up to that.
- 18:10Speaker 6: Who does Texas play? They play a team with a
- 18:13Speaker 6: winning that hasn't win yet.
- 18:16Speaker 1: They are They have an open date the same week
- 18:18Speaker 1: on the twenty seven.
- 18:19Speaker 6: They play a team with a win before they play
- 18:22Speaker 6: the Sooners. It depends.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I doubt Florida will have a winning record, do you No,
- 18:27Speaker 1: I don't know their their games at Florida, but the
- 18:31Speaker 1: week before the Oklahoma game, yes, so if fairly even? Yeah,
- 18:38Speaker 1: so I thought, honestly, I don't think that's ever been
- 18:43Speaker 1: a huge factor in that game.
- 18:45Speaker 6: I just think that that last year, the quarterback play
- 18:48Speaker 6: is what got Oklahoma.
- 18:50Speaker 1: In trouble, oh, no doubt.
- 18:52Speaker 6: And the lack of wide receivers.
- 18:54Speaker 1: By the way, that guy still can't throw the football
- 18:57Speaker 1: higg and run.
- 18:58Speaker 6: Yeah, he still can't throw of the football. Connor got
- 19:01Speaker 6: him a dub, but he wasn't He didn't really throw
- 19:04Speaker 6: the football well to get a victory for the Cougars
- 19:06Speaker 6: this last week for Houston.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Right, But Houston's a pretty heavy Who are they?
- 19:14Speaker 6: Are they playing? SMU Colorado?
- 19:15Speaker 1: Colorado?
- 19:16Speaker 7: Right?
- 19:16Speaker 1: They're pretty heavy favorite, I think, aren't they over Colorado?
- 19:19Speaker 6: Yeah? I think so. Not a heavy favorite, a favorite.
- 19:22Speaker 6: I'm gonna have to go look at that chip.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah, look at the look at it. But I'm pretty
- 19:27Speaker 1: sure Houston's favored over Colorado this week four and a.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Half, four and a half.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not a lot, Yeah, not a lot.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Did you see the baseball schedule? Yes? I did? Thoughts,
- 19:45Speaker 6: nobody can have an easy baseball schedule? True? Have you no?
- 19:49Speaker 6: Have you looked at Arkansas?
- 19:52Speaker 1: I know they don't play a lot of big teams, right,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I just saw a little tweet on that.
- 19:56Speaker 6: There's like three or four of the top teams. Wait, wait,
- 20:00Speaker 6: wait a second, Okay, here we go. If Arkansas does
- 20:11Speaker 6: not win the league this year, they need to fire
- 20:14Speaker 6: their head coach.
- 20:15Speaker 1: This is Kendall Rodgers.
- 20:16Speaker 6: No, this is me. Okay, okay, let's see here. Let
- 20:26Speaker 6: me find that tweet he put out because they don't
- 20:29Speaker 6: play Tennessee, they don't play Texas, they don't play A
- 20:42Speaker 6: and M, Tennessee, Texas, l s U.
- 20:49Speaker 9: No.
- 20:51Speaker 6: So it's it's it's how does that happen? I have
- 20:56Speaker 6: no idea. I have no idea. How does that happen?
- 21:01Speaker 6: I don't know. I know it's the first time in
- 21:04Speaker 6: the Longhorns look at a schedule and go, what is
- 21:06Speaker 6: going on? How did Arkansas get something that easy?
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yeah? Basketball schedule was released this week as well, we.
- 21:18Speaker 6: Do a lot of it.
- 21:21Speaker 1: On the face of it, the basketball schedule isn't bad.
- 21:27Speaker 1: They play Pitt, they play SMU, they play Arizona State,
- 21:32Speaker 1: they play Oklahoma State. Right, this is the worst non
- 21:39Speaker 1: conference home basketball schedule I've seen at A and M
- 21:42Speaker 1: and since the Melvin Watkins there. I think, I don't
- 21:47Speaker 1: know how this happened.
- 21:49Speaker 6: Yeah, what do you have there? You ready? Yep?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Northwestern State, Texas, Southern UCF, Montana, Manhattan, Mississippi, Valley State, Jacksonville,
- 22:07Speaker 1: East Texas State at Prairie View. I mean, come on, man,
- 22:16Speaker 1: how does that happen?
- 22:19Speaker 6: Okay, here's the Arkansas schedule for baseball. Okay, Mississippi State,
- 22:24Speaker 6: South Carolina, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Ole, miss Kentucky.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Okay, No, Texas.
- 22:40Speaker 6: AM no o U and LSU. Did you mention Lloe, LSU?
- 22:45Speaker 6: No Tennessee.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Pretty good schedule. Yeah, I mean, I don't know how
- 22:49Speaker 1: it happens, but that's that's not bad. No, uh, anything
- 22:54Speaker 1: else in the SEC football. You're on Georgia Tennessee. I'm
- 23:02Speaker 1: very anxiously that game. I am.
- 23:06Speaker 6: I still think that George the Tennessee quarterback is doing
- 23:11Speaker 6: it with mirrors? You do, Yeah, I don't know. I
- 23:14Speaker 6: think I think he's I'm not saying that. I'm not
- 23:17Speaker 6: saying that he's not better to be.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I give Josh Hypel credit because because that was that
- 23:22Speaker 1: was my thing. It's like, hey, Josh Hipel knows how
- 23:25Speaker 1: to coach offense. He has proven that with a bunch
- 23:27Speaker 1: of different quarterbacks. Right and once you see that, you
- 23:30Speaker 1: just don't know what this guy is going to do.
- 23:32Speaker 6: So and again they're they're better. He's they're better than
- 23:36Speaker 6: UCLA's quarterback situation. Yes they are, so that's a little better.
- 23:42Speaker 6: Yes they are. But until somebody beats Georgia.
- 23:47Speaker 1: My thoughts exactly, My thoughts exactly.
- 23:50Speaker 6: You didn't pick Georgia to win the league, though, did you?
- 23:52Speaker 1: I picked him to play for the champions, But I
- 23:55Speaker 1: picked him to play for this, not to win it.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Maybe it's been so long forgotten.
- 24:02Speaker 6: Who did you? You didn't pick the Longhorns to play
- 24:04Speaker 6: them either?
- 24:04Speaker 7: No?
- 24:04Speaker 6: I did not. Did you pick Alabama? I might have?
- 24:08Speaker 6: I mean that Alabama put up seventy three Alabama scored
- 24:11Speaker 6: eighty points in two games. Ship.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yes, they have their averaging forty points a game. No,
- 24:16Speaker 1: that's not true. They they have put up ninety points,
- 24:22Speaker 1: forty five.
- 24:22Speaker 6: Points again their average. What is the complaint about they're.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Averaging forty five? That's what I want to know.
- 24:28Speaker 6: My question this week, Chip is honestly, okay, Clemson was
- 24:33Speaker 6: not good last year. No, you're right, they weren't. Is
- 24:35Speaker 6: LSU has not been good? Is LSU getting the benefit
- 24:40Speaker 6: of beating a Clemson team? I don't know.
- 24:41Speaker 1: We're gonna find out exactly, because because Georgia Tech, I
- 24:44Speaker 1: wouldn't want to play them with that offense in that
- 24:46Speaker 1: quarterback right. Uh, we're gonna we'll we'll find out even
- 24:50Speaker 1: more about Clemson's quarterback Haines King and Georgia Tech. Yeah,
- 24:54Speaker 1: he's playing through the FOURD pass. Ship doesn't matter. He'll
- 24:57Speaker 1: beat you, man, He'll he'll cancel.
- 25:00Speaker 6: Before If they can't beat Georgia Tech, Yeah, it's trouble.
- 25:06Speaker 6: It's trouble. They couldn't stop the running quarterback at all
- 25:09Speaker 6: last year, right right, So if this year they can't
- 25:13Speaker 6: stop the running quarterback after you getting all this portal
- 25:16Speaker 6: transfer in, they're in big trouble. Oh there, because the
- 25:20Speaker 6: other teams in the league that said, hey, we already
- 25:22Speaker 6: have a game plan. We know you can't stop because
- 25:25Speaker 6: you couldn't stop it last year. If you're not coaching
- 25:28Speaker 6: these guys to cover the quarterback run, there's gonna be
- 25:32Speaker 6: some trouble. All right.
- 25:33Speaker 1: We all have plenty to talk about next week, I think,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I think so. All right, Scott clundenam with us on
- 25:40Speaker 1: a Wednesday.

- 28:50Speaker 1: That fight sell West Card World and Mallory. I have
- 28:55Speaker 1: more news on the fudding Bobby play Brook Williamson romance.
- 29:01Speaker 7: You a romance I keep forgetting about, but sure, yes.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Bobby, answering questions to his Instagram followers yesterday, was asked
- 29:14Speaker 1: about his thoughts on each of his shows. Uh, they
- 29:19Speaker 1: call them titans. On Bobby's Triple Threat, Michael Vattaglio, Aisha Nurjaja,
- 29:26Speaker 1: and of course Brook, he wrote, Waltagio's strength is creativity.
- 29:32Speaker 1: That is only his Nurjai brought impact to the show.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I relate mostly to her approach. The flavor is always evident.
- 29:43Speaker 1: As for Williamson, Flay says her best quality was quote
- 29:48Speaker 1: the delicious factor. She always finds the balance on every dish.
- 29:58Speaker 1: This has been going on apparently since March. Okay, you know,
- 30:06Speaker 1: I told you that we're spotted with some PDA at
- 30:09Speaker 1: the US Open last week celebrating her birthday.
- 30:14Speaker 6: In June.
- 30:15Speaker 1: And I missed this because you know, generally by July
- 30:19Speaker 1: I'm gone. So I missed this whole thing. He did
- 30:22Speaker 1: an interview apparently with People magazine, saying I've been friends
- 30:27Speaker 1: with Brooke forever. He reflected on the similarities. I love
- 30:33Speaker 1: working with Brooke. We have a lot in common. We're
- 30:37Speaker 1: both chefs, we both have kids, we're both parents. Williamson
- 30:43Speaker 1: has a son from a previous marriage to Nick Roberts.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Flay has a daughter, Sophie, who is in the TV business.
- 30:53Speaker 1: We're both in the restaurant business, says Bobby. We have
- 30:57Speaker 1: tons to talk about in terms of the things that
- 30:59Speaker 1: we love to do besides just go and have dinner.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Ever once in a while, it's been really great. One
- 31:06Speaker 1: of the things I like about being in a relationship
- 31:09Speaker 1: with Brooke is she's great to bounce things off of.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Like we ask each other's opinion about things that we're
- 31:17Speaker 1: doing food wise or restaurant wise or business wise. It's
- 31:23Speaker 1: nice to have a best friend that you're dating that
- 31:27Speaker 1: can be helpful answering.
- 31:29Speaker 6: The questions you have.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I mean, is this the first time Bobby has ever
- 31:37Speaker 1: been with someone that can answer questions that he has?
- 31:42Speaker 7: What's going on in your priory?
- 31:44Speaker 1: You know, after three or four marriages and lots of
- 31:47Speaker 1: other relationships.
- 31:48Speaker 6: It's like, hey, I could.
- 31:49Speaker 7: Talk to her.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Wait wait a minute, that's crazy.
- 31:56Speaker 6: That is crazy. Who knew?
- 31:59Speaker 7: Who knew?
- 32:00Speaker 1: Hey, guess what I have? The new bachelorette.
- 32:07Speaker 7: Oh I did hear about this?
- 32:09Speaker 6: Actually announced today.
- 32:12Speaker 1: The bachelorette is Taylor Frankie Paul, star of the Secret
- 32:22Speaker 1: Lives of Mormon Wives. The announcement comes after ABC confirmed
- 32:30Speaker 1: in March the dating show would not err in July,
- 32:33Speaker 1: as it had for the past three years, but The
- 32:38Speaker 1: Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul thirty
- 32:43Speaker 1: one announced it on I Guess a podcast called Call
- 32:52Speaker 1: Her Daddy with Alex Cooper.
- 32:56Speaker 7: You haven't heard of that? Pard? No?
- 32:58Speaker 6: No, I have not.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Should I I'm not surprised, but no, it's okay, Okay,
- 33:02Speaker 1: thank you, it's fine.
- 33:04Speaker 7: I'll give you a pass.
- 33:05Speaker 6: Okay, I guess surreal.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It's not hit me right now, she says, I'm just
- 33:11Speaker 1: thinking about it. It's not real and it's not going
- 33:15Speaker 1: to be until the limo is pulling up, you know,
- 33:21Speaker 1: adding she's quote nervous. How did I get here? In
- 33:26Speaker 1: my head, I'm like, how is this happening? The mom
- 33:32Speaker 1: of three went on to share that her being on
- 33:37Speaker 1: the show started as a joke three years ago, which
- 33:42Speaker 1: she made on apparently TikTok. I don't know if that
- 33:47Speaker 1: got their attention. It was mainly a joke. Then we
- 33:51Speaker 1: had a meeting. I still don't believe it until I
- 33:55Speaker 1: got the invitation. Will you be our bachelorette? Paul went
- 34:01Speaker 1: on to admit that she has some reservations, as well
- 34:06Speaker 1: as confirming she's still going to be part of the
- 34:10Speaker 1: Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
- 34:14Speaker 6: How do I make this work?
- 34:16Speaker 1: I'm a co parent, I have two baby daddies, not one.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I'm dealing with two different people, my children, my home base.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Can I travel that long? Can I be gone that long?
- 34:32Speaker 1: But then I'm thinking on the side. The other two
- 34:36Speaker 1: moms that are in the group are doing Dancing with
- 34:40Speaker 1: the Stars and they brought their family out. But they
- 34:45Speaker 1: also have their husbands. So for me, I'm like, is
- 34:50Speaker 1: it possible for me.
- 34:51Speaker 6: To excuse me?
- 34:53Speaker 7: Sorry to do it.
- 34:54Speaker 6: A single mind. Let's be serious about this. I'm trying
- 34:57Speaker 6: to be serious about this.
- 34:59Speaker 7: That's what we're out have their husband?
- 35:01Speaker 1: Yeah, can I make it work realistically? No matter how
- 35:05Speaker 1: much I want this? And I was like, I can
- 35:10Speaker 1: if you want to, you can. It comes down to that.
- 35:14Speaker 1: So I'm like, I will make it work. I can
- 35:18Speaker 1: ask for help more.
- 35:20Speaker 7: She says, do it in the name of love.
- 35:23Speaker 1: This isn't right, This isn't the Golden Bachelorette.
- 35:27Speaker 6: This is just the bachelorette.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Since when did we have bachelorettes with three kids?
- 35:34Speaker 17: Well, it's honestly, I feel like in this day and age,
- 35:37Speaker 17: maybe a little more realistic.
- 35:39Speaker 7: Although the purpose show, I don't. Yeah, you know, I
- 35:47Speaker 7: don't know.
- 35:49Speaker 1: So I'm assuming for you girl, I'm assuming that on
- 35:53Speaker 1: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and she already already
- 35:58Speaker 1: talks about having two baby daddies, so I bet she
- 36:04Speaker 1: was married at the same time to a couple of
- 36:06Speaker 1: different guys.
- 36:08Speaker 17: So there there's They became famous on TikTok and I
- 36:12Speaker 17: know way more about this than I actually care about.
- 36:15Speaker 7: Good But I don't watch the show. I would have.
- 36:20Speaker 7: I probably would have loved this show if I would
- 36:21Speaker 7: have watched it. But you know how I am. If
- 36:23Speaker 7: I don't start the first season, it's over for me.
- 36:25Speaker 7: I'm not gonna go back and watch it. So I
- 36:28Speaker 7: didn't watch it. And but they all start. It's a
- 36:31Speaker 7: group of Mormon moms, yes, or wives.
- 36:34Speaker 17: I guess they're called mom talk because they all started.
- 36:37Speaker 17: It's like a little gaggle of blondes, a couple of brunettes.
- 36:40Speaker 17: I think she's a brunette. They all look the same
- 36:42Speaker 17: to me, I don't know. Two of them are on
- 36:45Speaker 17: Dancing with the Stars, and I was actually surprised that
- 36:47Speaker 17: she the one who's now the Bachelorette, which all makes
- 36:49Speaker 17: sense now because she's a fan favorite.
- 36:52Speaker 7: So I was kind of surprised. I was like, if
- 36:54Speaker 7: these two are not her her, it's kind of weird.
- 36:58Speaker 7: But now it makes sense because she's on the Bachelorettes.
- 37:00Speaker 17: And now they're taking not only have they taken over
- 37:02Speaker 17: reality TV, they're now taking over more reality TV with
- 37:06Speaker 17: different Wow.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So she's she's like the Hannah Brown of the Bachelorettes
- 37:11Speaker 1: now with.
- 37:12Speaker 6: Baby daddies, with baby daddies.
- 37:16Speaker 17: But I think she actually is recently like going through heartbreak,
- 37:20Speaker 17: like after.
- 37:22Speaker 1: So you know what, So you know what happens when
- 37:26Speaker 1: you have kids, you have multiple husbands, and it all
- 37:30Speaker 1: comes apart that the next logical step is to be
- 37:35Speaker 1: the bachelorette.
- 37:37Speaker 17: Why not you know, I mean, you don't think her
- 37:42Speaker 17: ex baby daddies aren't a little jealous that they can't
- 37:44Speaker 17: be a bachelor.
- 37:45Speaker 7: I mean, I guess anything. Time will tell, but I mean,
- 37:48Speaker 7: why not for you girl? Look, she's seen her fate,
- 37:51Speaker 7: she knows what her life is like. She's like, I
- 37:53Speaker 7: might as well milk this money train.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I got three mouths, fee let's go up. Well, let's
- 38:00Speaker 1: let's go jetting around the resorts all the world.
- 38:04Speaker 7: And if history does repeat itself. To be honest, she could.
- 38:07Speaker 17: Probably be on the next season, next the next season
- 38:11Speaker 17: of Uh.
- 38:14Speaker 7: He has a very strong opinion about this a bachelor. Yeah, well, no,
- 38:19Speaker 7: she could be. She does Bachelorette this year, next year,
- 38:23Speaker 7: she could be, you know, on Dancing with the Stars.
- 38:27Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not I don't think she's very far
- 38:31Speaker 1: from the Golden Bachelorette.
- 38:32Speaker 7: So if that's not that old, I think she's in her.
- 38:36Speaker 6: She's thirty one.
- 38:37Speaker 1: She's thirty one.
- 38:38Speaker 17: Okay, well, Chip, you know what, now you're making me
- 38:41Speaker 17: feeled and I.
- 38:42Speaker 7: Don't appreciate that. I'm usually a young woman situation.
- 38:45Speaker 6: Okay, welcome to the club. What do you got.
- 38:49Speaker 7: I'm not there yet. We talk way too long about
- 38:53Speaker 7: the bachelor. You all can't do not watch The Bachelor.
- 38:57Speaker 17: Let's talk about something that might people snooze or doze
- 39:01Speaker 17: off for a minute. King Charles is heading to London
- 39:04Speaker 17: from Scotland, fueling speculation that he could meet with Prince
- 39:07Speaker 17: Harry during his son's current trip to the UK after
- 39:11Speaker 17: spending time at.
- 39:12Speaker 7: The gosh beusy European place is just kill a castle.
- 39:17Speaker 7: It's a castle, including spending.
- 39:20Speaker 17: Yes, I lost my train of sorry, basically the place
- 39:27Speaker 17: where Queen Elizabeth did die three years ago.
- 39:30Speaker 7: He was visiting that place. He was photographed lead boarding
- 39:34Speaker 7: a plane to go to London. So the Heulet.
- 39:38Speaker 17: Reported that a monarch is heading to London where Prince
- 39:41Speaker 17: Harry is.
- 39:41Speaker 7: Spending the day. So this is today. On Wednesday he visited,
- 39:46Speaker 7: as we talked about, I believe yesterday. Yeah, you know, yeah,
- 39:50Speaker 7: blah blah blah. We don't need to go into that.
- 39:52Speaker 17: He did arrive September eighth, so he's staying longer than
- 39:56Speaker 17: a lot of people speculated.
- 39:59Speaker 7: Again he to go to there for charitable reasons.
- 40:02Speaker 1: I just hope they can get together and put put
- 40:04Speaker 1: aside their differences.
- 40:06Speaker 17: This is there. If they do meet, this is going
- 40:09Speaker 17: to be the first time they see each other in

- 42:31Speaker 7: Yeah, like you do exactly, but she was.
- 42:35Speaker 17: Joined with friends Jason Bateman and his wife. Of course,
- 42:39Speaker 17: there's that Curtis was on the vacation.
- 42:41Speaker 1: By the way, Jason Bateman has a has a new
- 42:45Speaker 1: Netflix show starting next week that just looks awesome.
- 42:48Speaker 6: What Jude Law.
- 42:49Speaker 1: It's called The Black Rabbit. Yeah, I mean that looks
- 42:54Speaker 1: really good. I'm a big fan of Jason Bateman, so
- 42:56Speaker 1: I like him.
- 42:58Speaker 7: I like Jason Bateman too. I'm okay with him. I'm
- 43:01Speaker 7: good with him. But yeah, so there's that. Just normal.
- 43:05Speaker 1: So Jennifer Annison has a boyfriend again.

- 43:29Speaker 7: I'm just okay. To be fair, I don't think it's
- 43:32Speaker 7: her fault.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Oh, it's all her fault. Every bed of it is
- 43:36Speaker 1: her fault.
- 43:36Speaker 7: You bet it, Jennifer, keep it up. You could be
- 43:38Speaker 7: the Golden Bachelorette.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you're yes, she is very close to being the
- 43:43Speaker 1: Golden Bachelorette.
- 43:44Speaker 17: Actually, she looks fantastic, though she doesn't.

- 44:12Speaker 7: Okay, there's that. You got anything else? When we talk
- 44:17Speaker 7: about Selena.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Let's go Selena.
- 44:19Speaker 17: Selena Gomez is spilling some wedding wedding deets, excited.
- 44:25Speaker 1: About on her upcoming nuptials.
- 44:32Speaker 7: Yes, she did with the.
- 44:34Speaker 17: Jimmy Pallen, No, not with him, Blenny, Anny Blanco, her Beyonce,
- 44:40Speaker 17: a Chip, Justin Biebero. She opened up about who will
- 44:46Speaker 17: be the ring bearer met at their wedding.
- 44:50Speaker 7: Man, could you imagine? It's wonderful.
- 44:53Speaker 17: I'm very lucky, she said of the wedding planning as
- 44:56Speaker 17: she set to uh sat next to her only murderers
- 44:59Speaker 17: and the building coasters.
- 45:01Speaker 7: Martin Short and Steve Martin. It's going well. I'm so excited.
- 45:05Speaker 17: Asked if Short and Martin Martin were invited to the wedding.
- 45:09Speaker 17: She did reply, of course they are. Marty's the reenbear,
- 45:12Speaker 17: nice so comedian and actor Short and jokingly acts like
- 45:17Speaker 17: he would be the one to present the rings on
- 45:19Speaker 17: the day, which, honestly, that would be hysterically.
- 45:21Speaker 6: That would be good.
- 45:22Speaker 17: I'd like to see that, honestly, not the worst idea, No,
- 45:26Speaker 17: I think it would be great.
- 45:30Speaker 7: Comedic relief.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Let's see Sydney Sweeney and Amanda safe Read are full
- 45:37Speaker 1: of secrets and people's exclusive look at the housemaid. The chemistry,
- 45:45Speaker 1: says director Paul fig is through the roof. They are
- 45:50Speaker 1: both such powerful talents and works so well off each
- 45:54Speaker 1: other that you very quickly get sucked into their on
- 45:59Speaker 1: screen world. This is an adaptation of the bestseller as
- 46:04Speaker 1: Sweeney as Milly, a woman trying to escape her past
- 46:09Speaker 1: and restart her life, lands a job as a live
- 46:12Speaker 1: in housemaid for the seemingly perfect Winchesters Nina and Andrew Nina,
- 46:20Speaker 1: of course, played by safe Reed, along with Ends with
- 46:25Speaker 1: Us star Brandon's Sleaner. Things take a turn when the
- 46:31Speaker 1: gig spirals, thrusting Milly into a dangerous dynamic. The logline
- 46:37Speaker 1: for the film promises, quote a seductive game of secrets,
- 46:43Speaker 1: scandal and power.
- 46:46Speaker 10: Woo.
- 46:47Speaker 6: This is gonna be something else. Not sure when the
- 46:51Speaker 6: film's coming out.
- 46:54Speaker 1: But when we do find out yeah, Sweeney says, Milly
- 46:58Speaker 1: is exactly the type of character I love to play, complex, strong,
- 47:03Speaker 1: with a little something up her sleeve. I can't wait
- 47:07Speaker 1: for fans to see how hard we're working to bring
- 47:10Speaker 1: the Housemaid to like, we'll see, we'll see.
- 47:17Speaker 7: I'm exciting.
- 47:19Speaker 6: That awesome.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Just a quick note on Hulk Hogan Yea, his daughter
- 47:27Speaker 1: Brooke said she didn't want a penny, and the Hulk
- 47:30Speaker 1: took her at his word. His son Nick filed court
- 47:36Speaker 1: documents which say the Hulkster left two hundred thousand in cryptocurrency,
- 47:43Speaker 1: seven hundred and ninety nine thousand in personal property and
- 47:45Speaker 1: intellectual property, and the right to his publicity, which is
- 47:50Speaker 1: estimated to be about four million dollars. Brooke voluntarily has
- 47:54Speaker 1: to be removed from her dad's will to sidestep any
- 47:58Speaker 1: money disputes or legal battles with those that were closest
- 48:03Speaker 1: to the Hulkster, including his former wife Linda. So there
- 48:08Speaker 1: you go go. They'll be fighting over that, all right.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Let's do uh, let's do some birthdays, Camly.
