Wheatus – Teenage Dirtbag | Song Meaning Explained
Teenage Dirtbag meaning explained — Wheatus.
What is Teenage Dirtbag about? Brendan B. Brown’s song is a crush on the surface and a Long Island identity song underneath: metal kid, scared adults, 1984 Ricky Kasso case as backdrop, not as the plot. The girl Noelle is a name from his brother’s class. The “female” voice in the bridge is Brown.
Official music video (Jeff Gordon / Loser, Jason Biggs & Mena Suvari): 380M+ views. Australia #1 for 4 weeks. UK #2. Never hit the US Hot 100. UK 5x platinum.
