  show. Before we get started this past

  weekend, we were lucky enough to head over to our favorite
• 1:19
  Brewery, our sponsor Sloop over in Hopewell Junction, and we

  were able to host in the private room and their bomb shelter.

  What we called Sloop amania and we filled that room, we were
• 1:32
  watching some classic matches, drinking some delicious beer.

  With that we did we actually Nick printed out the Pick'em

  cards. And out of all the Pick'em

  cards, I took them all home and I started grading them.

  I felt like I was the teacher. During this one, and there was

  not one single perfect card or even close for that matter.

  But there was one card that was filled out by my neighbor who

  has no idea of wrestling. She was there in support of us
• 2:21
  and we've actually Nick and I actually have gotten their
• 2:23
  daughters addicted to wrestling. Now, as that, they were away
• 2:26
  with us, a few months ago at this point, and that we had
• 2:29
  spent an honor a Pay-per-view on and they were like glued to the
• 2:32
  television. So she showed up and Until the
• 2:36
  very last match her card was completely imperfect.

  Every single one was wrong. Wow.
• 2:43
  And then she stumbled into the right one in the main event of
• 2:46
  night to there is 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10, 11 12, 12 out of 13 or
• 2:52
  wrong and she like really one that picks Roman to out of all
• 2:56
  the cards. There was actually quite a few
• 2:57
  of Roman, but there's a whole lot of red x's on that card.

  So this was an entertaining one. I'm gonna just go put it in her
• 3:03
  mailbox and yeah. That's a great idea.

  It's just do your homework just let her just let her get back to

  me. And on those feelings I'll say

  And he started talking about Eddie Guerrero vs Macho Man.

  And there he was bringing up a match that he couldn't just

  remember the details to. And I wanted to fill everybody

  else. So it was slamboree, 1996,

  lethal Lottery battle bull. It was a tag match where they,
• 4:02
  you know, they pick out of a hat essentially.

  You know, the lethal Lottery pairs people together and they
• 4:08
  paired up Macho, Man, with Ric Flair, who were feuding at the
• 4:11
  time going up against Arn, Anderson, and Eddie Guerrero.

  So Eddie I'm sorry, Arne and Flair Horsemen they're going
• 4:19
  against each other. You've got Macho Man and Eddie
• 4:23
  in the same match which was you know Justin's dream match, every
• 4:26
  single time that Eddie got anywhere close to Macho.
• 4:29
  He just backed up. Like, just completely took steps
• 4:32
  away. It's really just Just a match of
• 4:36
  Macho fighting flare, and this infighting between this team and
• 4:40
  Arne gets involved at the end spoiler.

  Alert sorry, not sorry and but Justin's, right?

  And like any single time that Eddie and savagery even remotely
• 4:48
  close, there is not one single Touch of Shame.

  The too seriously man and it wasn't the story of the match

  it was, but, you know, Arne finally takes out Eddie and then

  CNBC first reported that the sale of WWE was imminent on

  Sunday afternoon right before night to kicked off.

  And then Monday morning the announcement became official

  almost like immediately. Like I think it was eight am

  here on the east coast and that news came out for those who
• 10:19
  don't know, Endeavor is the parent company of UFC and
• 10:23
  Endeavour will hold hold a 51% of the corporation while WWE
• 10:28
  shareholders will hold the remaining.
• 10:31
  Vince will serve as the new company's executive.
• 10:35
  Chairman I think those are the most interesting points and I
• 10:40
  know everybody's got a lot of fears and we're going to talk
• 10:43
  about Vince after we recap Mania.

  But Matt, you want to tell me what your biggest fear is with

  this purchase. You and I were talking about a
• 10:53
  little bit. I mean it's really difficult to

  To not speak behind the curtain. Right.

  But really, the biggest impact to me and the biggest concern

  that I have is how we consume it.

  And that doesn't mean like the product on the screen.

  I just mean how it's delivered to us.

  All goes away, does it mean that you have to now, subscribe, to

  spoken about how They are going to essentially put the same UFC

  formula onto the WWE product, but it's really interesting to

  me that, you know, you've got a co-ceo situation happening.

  And I saw a tweet earlier today, where Ari Emanuel, Who is the

  Isn't ember in Deborah pretty much, he will be Endeavor, CEO

  and this new company. This new conglomerate that will

  bring UFC and WWE together under one umbrella he and Vince

  McMahon will be the new companies co-ceos which is like

  very, very interesting to me. Yeah, maybe I have that

  incorrectly now that I'm looking at soon as that sweet again, but

  it's It's definitely super interesting how this all comes

  collectively, pretty much enjoyed this past weekend, both

  nights of WrestleMania. So I asked Mike and Matt to do a

  little homework as they were watching.

  I asked them this on Friday to keep it in the back of their

  mind while they were watching, we have five different tiers.

  We're going to fail or sign and how we're going to recap the
• 16:09
  past two nights of WrestleMania as we ranked matches of the
• 16:13
  weekend, and the tears are kind of as followed.

  We've got a popcorn tier, which is basically like a low-stakes
• 16:24
  humorous or otherwise light-hearted match, typically
• 16:27
  presented right after intermission, doesn't it?
• 16:29
  Bf2 intermission? I pulled that off Wikipedia.

  I was going to say, I may disagree with that that
• 16:34
  definition Mission in a little bit but I guess Wikipedia Can

  can run as our definition right now.

  Well, how else would you say popcorn matches a popcorn

  matches. Like I just don't care enough to

  write and watch it. Like okay, this is my spot where

  concession stand. I thought all of those things

  are like, okay, that's what I thought to it.

  So let's kick things off and talk about the one match that
• 17:45
  the three of us disagreed on personally.

  I think I'll and kind of in the middle of the two of you.

  So Mike where do you put John Cena versus Austin theory for

  the u.s. title kicked off night one.

  I believe I put it as a letdown right you did.

  This to me was made card. Okay, I guess you could go

  either way really, but I thought it was going to be maybe a show

  stealer type of match and it just it was the first match and

  it just didn't live up to any height for me.

  You know, it was kind of fell flat, it felt boring at times to
• 18:30
  me just like a lot of stomping around seeing a didn't look
• 18:36
  great. He looked would eat He's our

  friend Ian called him translucent, I believe homeboy

  needed a tan speaking of homeboys that need to tan my
• 18:47
  six-year-old it fills that same translucent category.

  Yes he is. Maybe this is the reason why I

  push this because in my in my notes to myself, I wrote let

  down or midcard and I eventually went midcard and it's because my

  six-year-old was sitting on the floor in front of the chair

  where I was and this little guy was so into the match.

  The beginning of WrestleMania. We give him a figure every year

  for the last four years now. And this year, it was John Cena.

  So maybe that was some extra little, you know, lens that I
• 19:19
  was viewing this match through but it certainly didn't live up
• 19:23
  to what I had hoped I agree with Mike there like it wasn't the.

  All right we're kicking off WrestleMania for two nights.

  We're going to put John Cena on our televisions.

  His entrance was incredible. Don't get me wrong.

  Wrong, like, all of the Just seeing Cena comes to, the ring,

  was great. Having Austin Theory.

  Be the very first wrestler that you see aside from is, right?

  I guess he was kind of truly kicking off, but regardless, the

  first introduction that you see is Austin, theory, is another
• 19:54
  big notch on that belt man. Like, get him started kicks him
• 19:58
  off. He looks like a million bucks,

  but this match was just when we say midcard, I've been writing,
• 20:04
  it capital m capital. I capital D and then lower case
• 20:08
  k. So focus on the mid.

  It wasn't, it wasn't anything that to write home about.

  And I snatch of night. One, to be honest.

  I like Matt said, the hardest part for me is I had my son

  right with down there in that basement at Matt's house.

  And every time I look back, my son would like very timidly.

  I knew this was a match that my son could stay up for.

  The kids off to bed because they were So being able to say that

  Cena, you know, fills that role of exactly that with with your

  little guy and you knew that he would be able to see.

  Cena is I guess super important important and really smart but

  yeah at the end of the day let down is certainly a viable one

  here from especially from a work-rate perspective, like mr.

  This this was this was a little bit mid in my world.

  All right so we've got a We've got to popcorn matches that we

  unanimously voted on. The first one was Becky Lynch,

  Trish Stratus, Lita verse damage control.

  This one is what it is. Like it didn't disappoint me.

  I kind of write had a feeling that it was going to end this
• 21:55
  way. It was fun to see all six of
• 21:58
  them you know, fun to see lead and Trish back in there.

  But you know, it delivered what I kind of thought it was.

  So I think that's why we put this as a popcorn match.

  Anybody else have anything they want to add besides the fact

  that Trish and Lita still look incredible.

  I feel like this was the definition of popcorn match for
• 22:19
  me and I gave it a shot and I went back and I rewatched a lot
• 22:25
  of the card because Saturday was a long day van.

  And we started at Sloop earlier in the day before that, we had
• 22:32
  stuff going on at home, we have people over like I just felt so
• 22:35
  run down that I was dozing off into the in the chair.

  Some point. And I wanted to go back and

  watch where you watch these matches.

  And I and when I went back and re-watched, it, it could have
• 22:44
  been pumped up to him ID card and it would have been
• 22:46
  acceptable. But for me, there was just no

  stakes in this. There was no titles on the line.

  It was no stipulations. It just was a straight-up
• 22:57
  three-person six-person tag and it was, it was inconsequential.

  That's my favorite word when I don't care about something so

  inconsequential. Yeah, I got to agree on that.

  just um, Yeah. It's it wasn't hoping for like

  that that it did like Legends are Hall of Famers.

  Really think about it for the weekend, which I think to me,
