Latest / Non-Toxic Living / Hormone Expert: 3 Things I'd NEVER Put On My Body
Transcript
- 0:00You have something you call your three Ps.
- 0:02So what are the three most toxic personal care ingredients you need to avoid?
- 0:06Some of the biggest ones I'm concerned about, especially in my practice, are my women that are dealing with a lot of different hormone issues.
- 0:13They're trying to get pregnant.
- 0:14Literally on the doors of these places that you go for IVF,
- 0:17You can't wear anything with toxicants in it.
- 0:20You can not wear perfume, cologne.
- 0:23They don't want the phthalates in there.
- 0:24I literally went over stats yesterday of the drastic reduction in success in IVF treatments with phthalates specifically.
- 0:31So they're putting these things in the tampons and that's fine.
- 0:34But if you're trying to go through an IVF treatment, then nothing's allowed.
- 0:37They know they know that it affects their outcome.
- 0:44Alyssa, thank you so much for joining us on the Non-Toxic Living podcast.
- 0:49We become good friends.
- 0:50We're both speaking at an event right now.
- 0:52We've met at up a couple other events, and you are a master in a lot of the similar areas where I'm at.
- 0:58And you have this amazing female perspective where I'm like, non-toxic dad, like, don't do any of this stuff.
- 1:05And you have a more realistic view as a woman of what toxins are a no go.
- 1:11As a matter of fact, you have something you call your three Ps.
- 1:15So what are the three most toxic personal care ingredients you need to avoid?
- 1:20Yeah, so I think that that could always be up for debate when you're looking at the effects of a lot of different ingredient categories.
- 1:26You can say, okay, are they endocrine disrupting?
- 1:28Are they carcinogenic or cancer-carzing?
- 1:31What is manifesting, right?
- 1:32So I don't want to say that this is absolute, but some of the biggest ones I'm concerned about, especially in my practice, are PFAS, so those forever chemicals that can last in your body up to 15 years for some of these compounds,
- 1:44the phthalates and the parabens.
- 1:46So especially for my women that are dealing with a lot of different hormone issues, they're trying to get pregnant.
- 1:51There's issues with infertility or just, you know, menses issues in general.
- 1:56And then any type of, you know, cancer causing ingredients are clearly a concern as well.
- 2:01But because of the studies that are linked to those metabolites specifically, those are the ones I really dial in on.
- 2:07And a lot of them are pretty easy to be able to identify on labels.
- 2:10So that's the three P's, phthalates, parabens, and PFAS.
- 2:14Yes.
- 2:15That's beautiful.
- 2:15Well said.
- 2:16So you said they're easy to identify.
- 2:20So how can, like, because PFAS can hide as a lot of different things.
- 2:24So tell us about that.
- 2:26PFAS is one of the most concerning ones for me, but it is one of the hardest ones to be able to detect.
- 2:31When you're looking at phthalates and parabens, they're a lot easier.
- 2:34It's kind of in the name.
- 2:35Yes, yes.
- 2:36Except for when you're looking at the phthalate side of things, it can end up hiding within fragrances.
- 2:42So you do have to watch that.
- 2:43Like it will not be straight on the label.
- 2:45Well, if it's fragrance, get rid of it anyway.
- 2:47Yeah.
- 2:47And, you know, sometimes you can email the company and say, you know, it depends on how you want to communicate with them.
- 2:52But a lot of times you have to do deeper digging.
- 2:54You have to be able to reach out and get the company to verify or ask for like a COA or something along those lines.
- 2:59But, yeah, with PFAS, I'd say my biggest like hard no red flag is going to be if something is like sweat proof or waterproof immediately.
- 3:09It's over.
- 3:09That is an issue.
- 3:10Yeah.
- 3:11Yes, absolutely.
- 3:12I'm going to back up just a little bit because we didn't we didn't introduce you like, hey, you're my friend.
- 3:17And, you know, biohacking bombshell is your handle.
- 3:21Yes, it is.
- 3:22And you're doing such great work.
- 3:25What got you into this integrative health space?
- 3:27Yeah.
- 3:28I mean, I grew up seeing my dad really sick.
- 3:31He got diagnosed with cancer when I was around eight years old.
- 3:33So I started to value health at that point.
- 3:36But, you know, I went through my own desire to just be like, how could I look as great as I wanted to?
- 3:43I was always into like working out and into aesthetics, not to sound vain, but I liked working out and I took pride in my appearance.
- 3:50Amen.
- 3:50Let's go.
- 3:51How do you focus on the different areas of health to achieve that?
- 3:55So it started definitely as like foundational.
- 3:58And then I had been forced to get really nitty gritty with how to be able to optimize your health when I got diagnosed with Lyme disease.
- 4:06And I realized, oh, my gosh, I've been living in mold my entire life and then especially in college and had a lot of like chronic health issues develop for many years.
- 4:14But yeah.
- 4:15Different phases, different depths of being dedicated to how non-toxic I wanted to be or how I wanted to live my life based off of where my health was at that time.
- 4:24But all different spectrums that I've been on in this journey.
- 4:27Well, then this brings up the topic.
- 4:29Yeah.
- 4:30Botox, fillers, implants.
- 4:32They a hard no.
- 4:33I think you have to look at each one of those individually.
- 4:36So the presentation that I ended up giving yesterday at this conference that we're at was really going through each different area that a lot of women want to be able to indulge in.
- 4:44So we talked about personal care products, we talked about hair, we talked about nails, we talked about lash extensions, and then we talked about Botox fillers, breast implants.
- 4:52And the reality is you have a lot of clients that if they're not in a space where they're really sick
- 4:59And this was me at one point where I'm like, I will get rid of everything.
- 5:03I will throw out every single product.
- 5:05I will stop any practice that was relatively toxic because that's how dedicated I was to getting well.
- 5:11And it just, nothing was worth it to me.
- 5:13Sometimes you get to a point where you're in a really good healthy spot and you are equipped with the tools and the resources to know how you can better buffer some of the stressors from these exposures.
- 5:22And you're like, I live once here on this side of heaven.
- 5:25Like I just want to be able to,
- 5:27Maybe enjoy a gel medicure or I want to be able to go and get my hair highlighted two to three times a year.
- 5:32How do I go and do that?
- 5:34And so when it comes to breast implants, you know, if I have some clients that will say, I want to get these, I've already made that decision.
- 5:42Is there a lower tox whey?
- 5:44to be able to do it.
- 5:45I will say a thousand percent would need to be saline.
- 5:47It's a non-negotiable.
- 5:48The surgeon will try and convince you silicone looks so much better.
- 5:52It's just the better fit.
- 5:53And I'm like with the amount of gel bleed that happens and the volume of silicone that's in that for me, it would be a hard no.
- 5:59So if you need to get them done, I would be doing the saline, especially if you have women that are like, unfortunately, you know, double mastectomies, because that's what they chose to do after getting breast cancer diagnosis.
- 6:09And I'm like,
- 6:10Gosh, if we can reduce the load that is right there, that's what I would be doing and getting saline.
- 6:15So treating those scars, getting better lymphatic flow, fascia is a bit healthier with neural therapy, different things like that.
- 6:22And then overall, lymphatic techniques, drainage support, that would be how I would go and try and mitigate some of the toxicity there.
- 6:30Filler, it can migrate.
- 6:33I think it's a little less severe than Botox.
- 6:37You know, when you're looking at the number one and two procedures that are non-surgical, it is Botox number one and filler number two.
- 6:44So, you know, when we're looking at the volume of procedures that are done, Botox definitely like takes the cake.
- 6:50I think filler has less risks.
- 6:53But Botox for me, I just like I wish I kind of didn't know what I know, because I always thought, oh, when I get to that point, yeah, I will do that.
- 7:00And then I went down the rabbit hole about five, six years ago with this.
- 7:04And it's not like just being able to say, here's a heavy metal.
- 7:08Let's just chelate it from the system.
- 7:09You're just going to pull it out.
- 7:11That is not how this toxin works.
- 7:13For me, it's a hard no.
- 7:15And the risk that you have, whether you're getting it the first time or whether you've been getting this for a decade plus and on that 10th year in that injection from the same injector, nothing was different.
- 7:24You get botulinum toxin A poisoning.
- 7:28You're going to have a problem because it's not just let's just address that bacteria and pull it out.
- 7:33You are now having to repair the cellular damage at that nerve receptor.
- 7:37You are having to it can go systemic.
- 7:39So you're trying to figure out what other areas are affected.
- 7:41It's huge.
- 7:42hugely disrupting the nervous system.
- 7:44So for me, it's just not worth it.
- 7:46So there's things that I could do as the aftermath, but I don't have as much like, hey, this is going to help to mitigate the toxicity there.
- 7:52It just doesn't work like that.
- 7:54That's not how the mechanism operates.
- 7:56So if it breaks, you're in trouble.
- 7:59Yeah.
- 8:00Yeah.
- 8:01Because really the only way that you can get the antitoxin that they have for any type of botulism is if it's food based.
- 8:07Yeah.
- 8:08So if you would get that from like bad canned meat, which is essentially like how this toxin was really discovered.
- 8:15Yes.
- 8:15Then you qualify.
- 8:16You're using this because you don't want to have crow's feet.
- 8:20you're looking at what the average amount is like a 30,000 plus ER operational visit when you're looking at the amount that a lot of Botox experts have gone and estimated ends up being when all is said and done with trying to balance the damage.
- 8:38Yeah, it's a scary one.
- 8:39I mean, it's one of those, you know, acceptable risks that people are taking.
- 8:43But there is a lot of research saying that not even just getting –
- 8:50toxicity from it, not getting a full blown poisoning from it.
- 8:54It's the, what it's doing to your nervous system, what it's doing to your hormonal system.
- 8:58It is an insult every time you put that in, you're literally poisoning yourself, a small micro poison in a small area, but that does build up.
- 9:06It's another insult on the body, but again, you know, acceptable for some, not acceptable for others.
- 9:12I love it.
- 9:12It's our choice, right?
- 9:14And our choices lead us places.
- 9:15We just have to know what we are saying yes to.
- 9:18One of the biggest issues with Botox that I see is just like breast implants, it has a black box warning label.
- 9:24Does it mean that some of the risks in there are going to happen to everyone?
- 9:27No.
- 9:28There's genetic predispositions.
- 9:29There's how high your toxic load already is.
- 9:31How much can your body handle?
- 9:33But they don't see that.
- 9:34And it's in the paperwork.
- 9:36So someone may end up seeing that before they get breast implant procedure or before they go and get Botox.
- 9:42But if you ask them about that, it is so downplayed that people think it's basically irrelevant.
- 9:50Like they're like, if this happened just one time, we have to put it here.
- 9:53And so people are like, this can never happen to me.
- 9:55I'm not going to get botulism.
- 9:57I'm not going to have breast implant associated issues.
- 10:00And that's just not guaranteed.
- 10:02But the big issue with Botox is they are gaslighting all of these patients that are like, I started to develop XYZ.
- 10:10I think this may be associated.
- 10:12And if it's not immediately where it was injected, if it's not location associated symptom, or if it's not immediately 24 to 72 hours after they get that done, they are gaslit.
- 10:24Detox.
- 10:24We talk a lot about that on this podcast, but I'm here to tell you detox is probably one of the biggest lies in health industry.
- 10:32And let me tell you what that lie is.
- 10:34When you have symptoms, that means the detox tea, the detox package, the detox cleanse is working.
- 10:41Well, that's a lie.
- 10:43It's actually the opposite.
- 10:44It means it's not working.
- 10:46It means it's stirring up toxins like dust in a home and redistributing those toxins inside of your body, potentially causing more hormone dysregulation, inflammation, the headaches, the gut disturbances.
- 10:58That is not true detoxification.
- 11:00I taught doctors for 18 years what true detoxification means.
- 11:04should look like that's why i put together a video of what i used to teach these doctors and more and you can grab that video watch it right now at non-toxic dad.com backslash answers and this happens with lots of things in the industry yeah vaccines being one of them you know i don't really want to go down that road but they're like oh it wasn't that it wasn't that i don't know how many moms when we had our
- 11:26clinic, how many moms said that?
- 11:28And all the doctors said, no way, it couldn't be, it couldn't be, it couldn't be, it couldn't be.
- 11:33This is a mom.
- 11:34Listen to the mom.
- 11:36She's not crazy.
- 11:37That's one of the things that gets me most upset about the medical community, right?
- 11:42And-
- 11:43It's great.
- 11:44I have lots of medical doctor friends, both in the natural side and the unnatural side.
- 11:49The lady next to me does all kinds of aesthetics and skincare and stem cells and Botox and fillers.
- 11:55And we're still friends.
- 11:57You know, she looks like that's what she does.
- 12:00And she's into it.
- 12:01And she looks great.
- 12:02You know, she's a wonderful person.
- 12:03And so I have these great relationships.
- 12:06I'm not gaslighting people who think of things different than I do.
- 12:09But you...
- 12:11It's sad to me to think just because you went to college, you're brighter than a mom who's like, wait a minute, I know this to be true.
- 12:18Because we have more than five senses.
- 12:20Like we're taught that.
- 12:23That's why we like to homeschool, because we teach our kids what we can feel.
- 12:26We have a spiritual side to us.
- 12:29There's like all these things.
- 12:31And we're not experiencing the world because we're saying it's just five senses.
- 12:34If I say that's yellow, I've just limited you.
- 12:37If I say that's green, I just limited you.
- 12:40If I say that's a leaf, I just limited you.
- 12:43Like experience what that is.
- 12:45Let's not just give it a label of a color.
- 12:47There's lots of different shades.
- 12:48And our brain is not able to fully experience the beauty of God's creation because we've labeled everything.
- 12:55Everything's compartmentalized.
- 12:56We're basically taught that our intuition is irrelevant.
- 12:59This is the person that went to school for this.
- 13:01So who are you to question anything?
- 13:04And it's like, oh, it's correlation, but it's not causation.
- 13:07And we have to stop looking at things like that, especially things that have, like Botox, delayed spread or delayed toxin lead.
- 13:14I'm a triple bird certified dermatologist.
- 13:16Who are you to question what I know?
- 13:18Yeah.
- 13:19Right, do you know how good my grades are?
- 13:21Do you know like how well respected I am?
- 13:24Do you know that I've done research on this stuff?
- 13:26Like this is what you get back and you're like, whoa, I didn't just ego right out of the gate.
- 13:30And I'm like,
- 13:31Well, maybe, like even when it comes to toxicity, like this is what I studied in school.
- 13:35I studied the binding of heavy metals in natural environments.
- 13:38Like I'm not easily fooled.
- 13:39I know how to read literature.
- 13:41And I'm like, well, maybe, maybe, you know, could you read this, you know?
- 13:46But it's like, no way, because I'm not as smart as you, because I didn't go to school as long.
- 13:49And I know there's a lot of sacrifice, you know, probably sacrifice relationships, family.
- 13:54Sure.
- 13:54You know, all kinds of things.
- 13:55And I respect that.
- 13:56It's a lot of work.
- 13:57But maybe a mom...
- 14:00has some value too.
- 14:01Yeah.
- 14:02The most powerful human on this planet that is the literal fabric and web that holds America and the world together.
- 14:10Maybe, just maybe, she knows what she's talking about too.
- 14:14And maybe you should listen to her.
- 14:15Maybe you should give her the time.
- 14:17Maybe you should open your heart up and be like, you know what?
- 14:20Let me look into that for you.
- 14:22I think the world would be a better place if we start listening to mom's intuition.
- 14:25Yeah.
- 14:26Yeah, moms.
- 14:27And then, of course, when you're they're trying to advocate for a little one that can't advocate for themselves, we're being taught like we're directly feeling it.
- 14:35We can actually see what's going on and we're taught not to trust ourselves, let alone.
- 14:38It's even harder when you have a mom and a child and she is, you know, trying to be the communicator and convey what the child's going through.
- 14:46But, yeah, absolutely.
- 14:47You can look at it on so many levels of how this manifests in the medical space.
- 14:50To wrap up this talking, we're going to get back into more personal care hacks here and things that people can do that's good for their skin.
- 14:56I think that the point is here, just because a dermatologist recommended it or a medical doctor recommended it doesn't mean it's safe.
- 15:07Dermatologist recommended doesn't mean it's non-toxic because as a matter of fact, 50% of the ingredients in most traditional skincare products that you'll pick up at Costco or at Walmart are around 50% petroleum-based toxins that are hormone disruptive, that are carcinogenic, many of them, and we're told that it's safe.
- 15:32No.
- 15:33It's not safe, it has a consequence, and it's sometimes the same price as the natural things, but they're making a way bigger margin, and they're doing it at a higher volume, and they're making more money off of you.
- 15:49So don't listen to them that it's safe, it's marketing,
- 15:53you could do natural things that are sometimes less expensive.
- 15:56I mean, I'd rather see you slathering olive oil on your face than using CeraVe, hands down.
- 16:02Would it work as well?
- 16:03Maybe, maybe not.
- 16:05But at least you're not poisoning yourself on the daily.
- 16:07There's so many options there.
- 16:08And it's not even just the toxicity side of things, Warren.
- 16:11On top of that, it's also the fact that when you get these feedbacks from a dermatologist and they're like, this is going to be the best thing for your skin.
- 16:18I see this with my clients with acne all the time.
- 16:21it doesn't mean it's non-comedogenic.
- 16:23So it is literally clogging your pores.
- 16:25It's not even just the ingredients of like cleanliness or not.
- 16:28It's, is it going to be a pore clogging ingredient, which is going to further manifest your body's ability to be able to clear toxins or be able to breathe.
- 16:35It's affecting your skin barrier.
- 16:37So there's so many different layers to that.
- 16:39So then dermatologists are looked at kind of like the gold standard and I'm like, I respect what they do.
- 16:44And you know, the knowledge that they have.
- 16:46Yeah, they help people feel good in their own skin and can really help their psychology.
- 16:50Yeah, but it's definitely not the end all be all.
- 16:52And there is room for the functional space and deeper like root cause variables, a cleanliness of different ingredients and how they interact with your skin barrier that it's not as black and white as they make it seem.
- 17:05So do not slog Vaseline all over your face.
- 17:09It's a thing.
- 17:10Why wouldn't you want to do that?
- 17:11Why wouldn't you want to just cover your face in Vaseline and all these influencers are saying that it's amazing for your skin?
- 17:18I mean, you and I already know the petroleum base.
- 17:20We could go down a total ride.
- 17:21Well, tell them why.
- 17:22Tell them why.
- 17:23This is something that I know that you're going to be able to convey way better and more powerfully for that particular industry.
- 17:30So it does a number of different things.
- 17:32It doesn't absorb into your skin because your skin is your largest organ and it feeds everything.
- 17:37You're feeding your skin, you're getting nutrients, it's protecting you.
- 17:40It's a very important part of your body.
- 17:42And we kind of ignore that.
- 17:43And we do things to it based on what we see on Instagram,
- 17:48what celebrities are doing.
- 17:50And we're buying into a culture that's taking us further away from God and nature, right?
- 17:56But in the Egyptian times, and then the natural health people kind of use those terms like, this Egyptian, you know, Cleopatra ingredient.
- 18:06So, you know, there's that side.
- 18:07So it's not just... That's true.
- 18:08So it's not just CeraVe, you know?
- 18:10Yeah, yeah.
- 18:11It's also the natural health, you know, skincare, like overselling what they are.
- 18:15But in general, they use plants and natural oils, right?
- 18:19And essential oils and all these different things.
- 18:21And they looked great, right?
- 18:23I went to Africa, right?
- 18:25And I went into the bush and I met a tribe that came down that was been, came down and was kind of cultured a bit, been a year and then one that was just coming out of the mountains because of a drought.
- 18:38and why we went in there, and this will close this loop, but the reason we went in there is because we were stopping World Vision from giving them grain, and we let them get grains and rice and all this stuff that, because they were starving, because they were thin, but they know how to live off the land.
- 18:56They're tribal.
- 18:57Yes, they're eating elephant.
- 18:58Yes, they're raising their own goats.
- 18:59Yes, they're eating masal berry and baobab fruit and all the things from nature.
- 19:03So they're connected, literally connected to nature,
- 19:09you know, punch into that nonprofit.
- 19:11I'm not punching down on it, but wake up.
- 19:13You know, if they're connected to nature and they come in and they teach them the gospel and like we got them and now we're going to give you food and do all this stuff and they're all happy.
- 19:22We're going to build your school, all these wonderful things, but then they get sick.
- 19:26Yeah.
- 19:27and diabetes comes in, things that they didn't have.
- 19:30And these children, their teeth, because they're breastfed, beautiful palates, gorgeous.
- 19:35Anyone would, you gotta go to Dr. Jerry Caratola and you gotta pay about $100,000 for that mouth or more.
- 19:41And they get it.
- 19:43Their skin, perfect.
- 19:44Not one drop of acne.
- 19:47Their memory.
- 19:48I could teach them English like this.
- 19:50Their brains are so alive, right?
- 19:52Because they're living, it's like homeschool on steroids.
- 19:57You're doing homeschool, you think you're doing your kids good, and I believe that you are.
- 20:00But imagine them learning, and all the studies show that.
- 20:05that if you're doing active learning and learning in an environment, it's so much better.
- 20:09So their skin is perfect.
- 20:11Their smile is perfect.
- 20:12Their memory, their energy.
- 20:14These kids don't go out for runs every day, but they're literally chasing our...
- 20:20you know, four-wheel drive vehicle for 10 miles and laughing and running.
- 20:24And we're like, holy cow.
- 20:26And then you give them just a soccer ball because they're using, you know, a pig gut or a bunch of rags, but they're healthy.
- 20:35They're connected to family.
- 20:36They're connected to nature and they don't need any skincare.
- 20:39Kids don't need skincare, specifically kids, but I'm talking about the hundred year old lady.
- 20:44She's wrinkled and beautiful.
- 20:46Her skin is still soft and supple.
- 20:48It's wrinkled.
- 20:49She's a hundred plus years old.
- 20:51They're like, we don't even know how old she is.
- 20:53She's just been alive forever.
- 20:55Yeah.
- 20:55I mean this, so this is, so there's these centenarians that they're not talking about and know what they ate?
- 21:01Nature.
- 21:02That's it.
- 21:02Yeah.
- 21:03And they're beautiful.
- 21:03And she has all of her teeth.
- 21:05Right.
- 21:06And so sometimes, but if you're in poverty and you're back in the city and they're living off the dumps, yes, World Vision.
- 21:12Yeah.
- 21:13Great job.
- 21:13Yeah.
- 21:14Right.
- 21:14So that's the loop that I'm trying to close.
- 21:16Get back to Vaseline.
- 21:17It's going to literally stop, especially if your face is dirty, it's going to lock in all those toxins.
- 21:23You can't sweat.
- 21:24It's a permanent barrier.
- 21:26It does clog your pores.
- 21:28It can be contaminated a lot of the times because it is a toxic substance.
- 21:32It's crude oil that they distill it down.
- 21:35It was a waste product, right?
- 21:36And then I believe...
- 21:39what happened is the oil workers were using it and putting on their skin and they noticed that it protected them from something is the story and then now we have vaseline yeah and everyone's using it right it's toxic period end of story don't put it on your skin alissa you said the vajayjay is like a giant mouth you gotta tell us about that
- 21:59This is something that I really emphasize to all of my female patients.
- 22:03And whenever I'm talking to a practitioner and you're working with females, when you're looking at what personal care products you are dialing in on the most that matter, that you want to swap, that you want to pay the most attention to, and that have a huge impact on overall health.
- 22:18The vagina is something that has up to 10x absorption when it comes to any topical substance on it.
- 22:27So when you are looking at body washes, if someone's using a vaginal wash, it's the head of your razor, you know, the different PFAS filled strips and stuff that are on those.
- 22:37When you're looking at lubricants, when you're looking at condoms, when you are looking at any type of tampon, menstrual cup.
- 22:45pads, panty liners, any type of period underwear.
- 22:50We've seen a lot of different lawsuits around PFAS and period underwear because you don't want them to leak and they're leak proof.
- 22:56These are some of the big areas that you want to make sure you pay attention to and
- 23:00you know, Lululemon leggings or the ones even on Amazon that are filled with a lot of plastics, making sure you're wearing like at least like organic cotton underwear underneath those if you can.
- 23:09So yeah, I definitely it is a it is a line that catches a lot of people's attention as it should, because when it comes down to it, if you're looking at areas of your body that need to have things switched out first, those are some of the biggest products that I dial in on.
- 23:24Anything that comes into contact with your hoo-ha is a big deal.
- 23:27It's one of the things that upsets me the most because I'll meet a lady when I'm shooting a video at a store and she's like, what are you talking about?
- 23:34And I'm holding up some synthetic tampon.
- 23:37She's like, and I start explaining, look, this is made of polyester plastic, maybe a little bit of cotton,
- 23:45loaded with all kinds of chemicals, known toxins.
- 23:48There's lawsuits around this stuff too.
- 23:51Hormone disrupting compounds, putting it in a hormone sensitive area.
- 23:54And they're like, oh my gosh, I didn't know.
- 23:56Yes.
- 23:57Right.
- 23:57There's no, it's again, the lowest cost product for the highest profit so that they can do celebrity endorsed videos so that your daughter can't.
- 24:08is watching them right away, and then they believe that it's safe.
- 24:10You're being dumbed down to think you can put something synthetic in your body that really doesn't even belong there.
- 24:16I mean, there's a lot of experts on this.
- 24:17I'm a guy, I'm not supposed to talk about that stuff, but you were designed perfectly.
- 24:23And how things flow is great, right?
- 24:26And I get it, we're busy, we're in the city now, like things have changed, we can't get away with it.
- 24:30You have to wear pads and tampons, but it's literally, you're sticking poison inside of your body
- 24:35Some of those microplastics, because it's inside of you, if they're shedding, there's lots of studies showing the microplastics embedded in your genitals, guys and girls, which is affecting your hormone health, which is gonna 100% affect your fertility.
- 24:50And then you're gonna spend thousands and thousands of dollars doing infertility, going the infertility route, another side of medicine that's massive that people are willing to pay anything for because
- 25:01wouldn't we?
- 25:02You know what's funny though, is literally on the doors of these places that you go for IVF, you can't wear anything with toxicants in it.
- 25:10Like you can not wear perfume, cologne, they don't want the phthalates in there.
- 25:14I literally went over stats yesterday of the drastic reduction in success in IVF treatments with conception, having a live birth, et cetera, with phthalates specifically.
- 25:24So they're putting these things in the tampons and that's fine.
- 25:28They can put them in the menstrual cups and that's fine.
- 25:30But if you're trying to go through an IVF treatment, then nothing's allowed.
- 25:33It makes zero sense.
- 25:34It's a perfect money loop.
- 25:35So they know that they know the cycle, though.
- 25:37They know they know that it affects their outcome.
- 25:40Yes.
- 25:40And people aren't going to do it if it affects their outcome.
- 25:43And what's so funny, you just talked about that.
- 25:45There's fragrance on the pad.
- 25:47They'll put those chemicals with those hormone disrupting compounds in one of the most highly absorbable areas of your body.
- 25:52You said almost 10 times.
- 25:54Yeah.
- 25:54And now it was okay then world, but it's not okay now.
- 25:58Yeah.
- 25:59And then there's the underwear study.
- 26:01Oh, yeah.
- 26:02So listen to this study, and this was done on males, not females, but there's a dog study they did on females, and it caused infertility just from wearing plastic underwear.
- 26:11Mm-hmm.
- 26:11Right?
- 26:11And then when they put, on the dog study at least, when they put on natural things, the female dogs were all able to get pregnant.
- 26:18Yeah.
- 26:19So they haven't done that study, but back in the 80s, I believe, they did a study on males, and essentially the polyester sling
- 26:27people who were trying to get pregnant didn't get pregnant.
- 26:30They did a bunch of measuring.
- 26:31It did lower sperm count.
- 26:32Yeah.
- 26:33They measured a lot of the negative effects it had on sperm, on the sperm.
- 26:37I don't think they did sperm motility, but then when they took the slings off the males,
- 26:42The ones that were trying to get pregnant got pregnant.
- 26:45So it's essentially a male contraceptive.
- 26:49And that's why they did this study, actually.
- 26:50Now I'm remembering the whole study.
- 26:52They did this study because they're like, oh, we have all these ways that we can...
- 26:58keep women from getting pregnant, how can, what can a male be doing to stop him from getting their wives present?
- 27:05We need a pregnant, we need to get a male contraceptive.
- 27:08So they did this study on the sling and they made the males wear it and it was 100% effective, I believe.
- 27:13Effective, oh my goodness.
- 27:16So then the polyester underwear boom is here and more plastics are here.
- 27:21So a conspiracy theorist would say they're trying to limit population control, you know, because of plastic underwear.
- 27:28And you're spending on this money going to an infertility clinic.
- 27:32And then they're telling you not to use fragrances and the things that are linked to a lower chance of getting pregnant.
- 27:39And the males, they're wearing plastic underwear.
- 27:41So one of the things that have got super viral from that is like, look, you know,
- 27:45It might be as simple, if you're listening to this, as having your husband wear 100% certified organic cotton underwear.
- 27:53And I recommend NADS.
- 27:55They're actually a company that I work with.
- 27:58I really believe that's why I love that company because that alone, it's going to...
- 28:03testosterone is limited by that.
- 28:05And this is the same if you're a female.
- 28:08Yes.
- 28:08Like it's messing with your hormones.
- 28:10Yes.
- 28:10And maybe that's why you can't get pregnant according to the dog study.
- 28:15Because you shouldn't be wearing plastic in an area that is, and that underwear is not BPA free.
- 28:22And it could have BPA in it.
- 28:23It's not BPS free, which is even bisphenol S, which is more, that's worse than BPA for fertility.
- 28:30Yeah.
- 28:31And it could have that.
- 28:32It could have phthalates.
- 28:33Yeah.
- 28:33what the clinics don't want.
- 28:35And all these different chemicals, and it's right on that highly absorbable area.
- 28:40And it's proven that some of those chemicals are getting in there.
- 28:43And when you have these hormone disrupting chemicals, guys, they get, they block on these cellular receptors in your tissues and organs that need to hear those hormones so that it will increase your ability to get pregnant.
- 28:54And it's blocking these receptors on the cells.
- 28:57So you can't communicate.
- 28:59And therefore you can't get pregnant because you don't have the right hormonal balance.
- 29:03And then you jam a bunch of chemicals in you, which you're going to have a consequence because you're going to be metabolic waste of putting all these extra hormones in your body.
- 29:11And then there's unintended consequences to that in your health, which can lead to all kinds of other disease, including the big C. And we're doing this big risk.
- 29:19But if we got back to God, back to nature, which is...
- 29:22The box I'm going to stand on that I think we can all agree on the further way we get from God and nature, the sicker we're going to be.
- 29:29And that's where we're at as a society.
- 29:30That's where the industrial revolution and chemicals came in and screwed up the health of America.
- 29:36That's why we're going to other, we're doing all these longevity studies.
- 29:39And guess what it is?
- 29:40Community.
- 29:41Number one, right?
- 29:43It's being close to nature, forest bathing, like grounding, drinking clean water, eating that.
- 29:51super high polyphenol antioxidant fruits right from the vines of these certain areas.
- 29:56And yeah, they can drink a little wine and get away with it because it's alcohol and it's no big deal because they're doing everything else right.
- 30:03Go ahead, do some fillers.
- 30:04Right.
- 30:05Because you're living an amazing non-toxic life that's way better than what I can do.
- 30:11Knowing all this here in America, because we don't have that available to us.
- 30:14We've disconnected from nature.
- 30:16We've disconnected our food from regions where it's supposed to be grown.
- 30:19And so this, and they have respect for nature.
- 30:22They have respect for the food.
- 30:23They have respect for where the best, where the food grows and where you can't grow tomatoes on a side of a hill, you know, where I'm at, up in Utah.
- 30:34It just doesn't work.
- 30:35Grow tomatoes where they're supposed to be grown.
- 30:37Yeah.
- 30:38I had that's that's that's away.
- 30:40That's the key takeaway from this talk.
- 30:42So thank you, Alyssa, for being on the show.
- 30:46We need to wrap up.
- 30:47I really appreciate you coming.
- 30:48How can people find you at biohacking bombshell on Instagram?
- 30:52That's our major, major educational channel.
- 30:54But we're also on YouTube and Facebook there as well.
- 30:57Love you.
- 30:58Thank you for being on the show.
- 30:59Thank you.
