- 0:36guys a definitive list of the things that I use on my
- 0:39smartphone device that help me out with ADHD.
- 0:43So this is my top five ADHD apps you need super quickly guys.
- 0:47This video is sponsored by Provacan Eye Cream.
- 0:50This is a CBD eye cream and I spoke about a video before and
- 0:53how I used this eye cream to help me with my eye bags and
- 0:56feeling kind of old and stuff. But if you would like it to get
- 0:59some money off the eye cream, there is a code on the screen
- 1:02here that'll give you percentage off and the link will be
- 1:04description below. The screen was awesome.
- 1:06I will also leave a link for that video in the description
- 1:08below so you can see the video on the full review that I did on
- 1:10this cream. It was super good, actually used
- 1:13it for in a week solid and changed my whole life like how
- 1:17my bags into my eyes just changed.
- 1:18They went completely gone from being like luggage cases.
- 1:22So yeah, definitely check it out.
- 1:23Money off with this code. All right, on with the video.
- 1:27OK guys, let me know in the comment section below.
- 1:29If you have ADHD and autism or just ADHD, I'd love to know.
- 1:32I have both because they come overly for me, but some people
- 1:35just have ADHD and I'd love to know what the ratio is.
- 1:37So let me know in a comment down below.
- 1:39I'd read and respond to every single one, so your comment is
- 1:41never wasted and I'd love to have a conversation with you
- 1:44okay. So I kind of went through all of
- 1:46the ones that I specifically use every single day to hack my life
- 1:49to make sure that it's easy, it's accessible and it's calm in
- 1:53the best way possible. So these are five of the best
- 1:55ADHD apps that I have come across.
- 1:57I've made just for you because I know how amazing you are and
- 2:00just just awesome. Thank you so much for watching
- 2:02this video. Let's get into it.
- 2:04Okay. So the first app we're going to
- 2:06look at here is an app called Evernote.
- 2:09Now Evernote is an app that is kind of like A to do list.
- 2:13And it also does like, it's kind of like I use it as like the
- 2:16scrapbook of my mind. So it's kind of like a an
- 2:20everywhere place for your thoughts and documents and
- 2:24everything else. So I'll just kind of screen
- 2:27record my screen so you guys can see what Evernote looks like.
- 2:30And yeah, we'll get into it okay.
- 2:31So this is Evernote. It has like ideas board.
- 2:34You can create an idea note, you can add to Do's in here.
- 2:37You can also add meetings so you can make like stuff and yeah,
- 2:40you have like a blank document. So check it out.
- 2:42So if we had A to do here or an idea, so I click on this and I'm
- 2:45like idea, so you can literally just type in, you know whatever
- 2:50you want, you know that's absolutely no and you can just
- 2:52you can add people in this as like share with other people who
- 2:54have Evernote. It's great for businesses and I
- 2:58actually think it's great. You can also scan documents with
- 3:00this as well. So it's it's kind of like it's a
- 3:03document scanner, so you can actually scan physical documents
- 3:07and it's just yeah, it's just awesome.
- 3:08So Evernote again is a free app that you can get on the App
- 3:11Store and it comes in Android and iPhone.
- 3:13So I would definitely recommend checking Evernote out and it's
- 3:16just one of those things that I think if you're someone who
- 3:19wants to stay organized with like physical documents as well
- 3:21as like your mind doing stuff, Evernote is going to be the one
- 3:24for you. And it's just absolutely just,
- 3:28yeah, it's it's just awesome. Now the next app I'm going to
- 3:31talk about right is the Microsoft To Do List.
- 3:34Now this used to be called Wunderlist.
- 3:36Now they changed and upgraded to Microsoft to do, which is
- 3:38amazing and it's way better. But and I use Wunderlist forever
- 3:41really. So I'm going to jump onto my
- 3:43phone and show you what the Microsoft to do looks like.
- 3:46So it's basically like this. You've got a profile and the
- 3:48same thing again, you can add people to work with you in this
- 3:51actual thing, but as you can see, you've got important
- 3:54planned assigned to you, because obviously you could use for
- 3:56business. Then you've got like flagged
- 3:57emails, then you've got task lists, then I've got video ideas
- 4:00and you have like subfolders as well.
- 4:03And I've got my dream desks up here, which I'm actually
- 4:07creating all the stuff that I need.
- 4:08You can actually put notes in here, set reminders at a due
- 4:11date, you can put on repeat. So if you want, you know, tasks
- 4:13to repeat and you can also put ones on like, which is
- 4:17important. So if you click on this one,
- 4:18this one says, like, you know, edit the ASMR track for
- 4:20downloads, you know, it's important.
- 4:22That is super, super awesome. I think like Microsoft to do is
- 4:25probably one of the most used apps on any of my devices,
- 4:28including my iPad, iPhone and my MacBook.
- 4:31It actually is the thing that I use most often because it's how
- 4:34I keep track of my own daily tasks.
- 4:36So when you're like when your mind is quite cluttered like me,
- 4:39I have ideas coming in and then I want to jump to another idea
- 4:42and then I jump to another idea and I jump to another idea
- 4:44because of all of those things, I have to kind of keep my mind
- 4:47in track. And by doing that, by having
- 4:50Microsoft to do on my phone, I'm able to put those things in and
- 4:53I can keep track of all my thoughts, all my ideas on my
- 4:55creative plans. And you guys will know if you're
- 4:57on ADHD spectrum, you know exactly what I mean.
- 5:00So that is super cool. Also, I will leave a link for
- 5:03all of these apps in the description down below.
- 5:06So if you want to share this video with somebody who's going
- 5:08to get value from it, please do that.
- 5:09And then you can just click on those little links and you can
- 5:11download the apps. Okay.
- 5:12So I always talk about this app, which is one of my favorite
- 5:17ones. And this app is called Timo.
- 5:19Now Timo is an app which has a subscription part to it, so you
- 5:24have to like subscribe to it. But Timo actually comes to your
- 5:28iPhones, Apple Watch kind of partnership.
- 5:30So there's an app for your iPhone and your Apple Watch and
- 5:33you can set up tasks every single day.
- 5:35You know you can create routines, create activities and
- 5:38by doing that you actually use a visual blocks like you can see
- 5:42here. It's like self-care, break
- 5:43bedtime routines, all those things.
- 5:46This is absolutely fantastic for creating daily activities and
- 5:52you can choose icons like you know, so say you want to you
- 5:57know, I don't know we want to eat there you go avocados and or
- 6:00broccoli. And then you say today I'm going
- 6:02to create this activity and you know it's going to be called eat
- 6:07and then I'm going to go OK boom.
- 6:10And there you go it's in there and it tells you there's like a
- 6:12timer that goes across the top that tells you exactly there's
- 6:1559 minutes left to eat and it's just it's just amazing.
- 6:19This app is fantastic. And for people on the autism
- 6:21spectrum and with ADHD, I use Timo because when I'm doing
- 6:25stuff like, especially when I'm like going to events and stuff
- 6:29and I have to like leave the UK or if I'm going to do an then in
- 6:32the UK, I just have to remember to take my medication, remember
- 6:35to eat this thing when we go to this meeting, remember that
- 6:37meeting, just drop off that here and everywhere.
- 6:39Timo was the best way to do that because it comes through to my
- 6:41Apple Watch and I just go, Oh yeah, I have to do that.
- 6:43And it has like a timer. So tell me exactly how long I've
- 6:45got to do that task. I mean that's just amazing.
- 6:48Like absolutely fantastic. Timo, just like hats off.
- 6:51Hats off to Timo. They just God love them.
- 6:54OK guys, So the next one is an app that's kind of native to the
- 6:58iPhone. I don't know if it's on the
- 7:01Android or not, what it's called on Android.
- 7:03Let me show you on my iPhone what it looks like for me.
- 7:05Now this app or feature should I say our function is called Do
- 7:09Not Disturb function. So if you swipe down your
- 7:11control box here and you can see this little like Half Moon thing
- 7:15here. If you click on that it tells
- 7:17you Do not disturb do not serve for one hour until this evening
- 7:19you know and then you can just say until I leave this location
- 7:23or whatever. Now one of the things that's
- 7:24good about Do Not Disturb is I have a schedule to come on like
- 7:27this. And then what it does is it
- 7:29blocks anybody who wants to try and phone me or text me who are
- 7:33not my family members from 8:00 at night until 8:00 in the
- 7:37morning. And so it stops that.
- 7:38But then you can make like a VIP list of your friends and family.
- 7:41So if they do try and call you as an emergency, they can get
- 7:43through. What it does is it kind of like
- 7:45puts you to one side so that the people can't disturb you so you
- 7:49can focus on the task at hand. So because the ADHD I have a
- 7:52hard time focusing on things I really need to do.
- 7:54It works really well with calendars.
- 7:55So when I'm in meetings, my calendar knows I'm in a meeting.
- 7:58It says hey you're in a meeting with blah blah blah.
- 8:00So my do not disturb will kick on and say nobody talked to Dan.
- 8:04It will just reject all kinds or all those kind of communications
- 8:06and let's say important one as and when I'm in a meeting and it
- 8:09just kicks on, it's been an amazing lifesaver.
- 8:11I think this is one of the most interesting app functions I've
- 8:14seen on the iPhone for ages and it just absolutely fantastic and
- 8:18it works so well. So definitely check it out.
- 8:20I don't know what it's called on Android, but if you do know what
- 8:22it's called on Android, drop it a comment down below so I can
- 8:24pin that comment so people can see it and then they can get the
- 8:26Android version. That'd be super awesome.
- 8:27OK guys, so I'm on to the last app here now.
- 8:30This is one of my favorite apps as well, and I will leave a link
- 8:33for this app specifically in the description down below.
- 8:36This app is called Better Help, Not Better Help is an online
- 8:41counseling service. Now, one of the issues I had was
- 8:44basically I had to go to counseling and I had to, like
- 8:48travel to a counselor, sit there in a room which I didn't know in
- 8:50a city that I didn't live out, and sit down there and it would
- 8:52cost me like tons of money, tons of time.
- 8:54Like it was crazy. You know it's probably an hour
- 8:56travelling to get there and just do an hour when I just needed
- 8:59the hour out of my life to do the counselling.
- 9:01So with better help, you actually log on and you have
- 9:03counsellors that you book through the app and you can do
- 9:06video chat, voice chat or text chat with them to do your
- 9:08session. Now I have there's a bunch of
- 9:10different things and you can see it's better help up here.
- 9:12Now I'm I'm just shuffling through There's like a schedule
- 9:15in here. There's like worksheets.
- 9:18You can have worksheets to go through here and then you've got
- 9:20a journal. You can actually journal in
- 9:21there and there's sessions where you can actually talk to your
- 9:23counsel directly. But I actually love better help.
- 9:26It's actually one of the nicer ones because basically within 24
- 9:28hours they hook you up with a counselor.
- 9:30So this is my counselor's current like, times that she has
- 9:33available, and I can book whichever one I want and then
- 9:35you just click it and you pick whichever kind of function you
- 9:38want, telephone, video chat, whatever.
- 9:39And then just you book it. Now because the ease of this, I
- 9:43highly actually stopped going to physical counseling because this
- 9:46is so much easier because I could just sit down on a coffee
- 9:48chair in my house with my tea and just then pop on the
- 9:52counseling, sit there chill out, relax and and just have that
- 9:56moment, you know and and that to me was just super super useful.
- 10:00I highly recommend checking out better help.
- 10:03I will leave it in the in the link down below again as you
- 10:05guys can check that out and you can sign up.
- 10:06I think you get some kind of discount for signing up to my
- 10:09link. I don't know maybe or not I
- 10:10don't know but I have a link for it anyway and that'll be super,
- 10:13super awesome. So guys, they are the apps that
- 10:15I use every single day. I'd love to know if you use any
- 10:17other apps that you think are helpful or handy.
- 10:19So please pop on the comment down below and I'll see you next
- 10:21time guys. Peace.
