- 0:00Tracy: Kiona and welcome to Constellations and all that.
- 0:03Tracy: I'm your host, Tracy Cartwright, and together we will be exploring the world of family constellations with facilitators for and clients from around the world, looking at different perspectives and experiences in the work, having a cup of tea, and just chatting with some friends around their experiences in constellations.
- 0:23Tracy: We'd love for you to join us.
- 0:25Tracy: I hope that you enjoy this series as much as I have loved making it.
- 0:34Tracy: Everyone, welcome to Constellations and all that.
- 0:37Tracy: Oh, today I am super excited.
- 0:39Tracy: I have my friend Miranda Claire here with me.
- 0:42Tracy: Hey Miranda.
- 0:43Tracy: How are you doing?
- 0:43Miranda: Hello.
- 0:44Miranda: I'm equally excited how I'm doing.
- 0:47Tracy: Oh, so good to have you join us.
- 0:50Miranda: So good to be here.
- 0:51Tracy: So Miranda, my invitation here on the podcast is I don't introduce you in, in audio, but I invite you to introduce yourself so that, 'cause there'll be some people that are listening to this and some people that will be viewing it on YouTube too.
- 1:06Tracy: So to share a little bit about yourself, sure.
- 1:09Tracy: Where you're based and, um, whatever comes up for you.
- 1:13Miranda: Sounds good.
- 1:14Miranda: So, my name is Miranda Claire.
- 1:16Miranda: I'm affectionately known as the Soulmate Coach because I'm a coach and have been for many, many years, such decades, and I help people with all things to do with love and self-love and soulmates and loss and all that juicy relationshipy stuff.
- 1:32Miranda: Some people just call me Cupid.
- 1:34Miranda: Um, that's probably because of the relationships I've helped form.
- 1:37Miranda: But yeah, I, I love, love, and I have.
- 1:40Miranda: Had a huge personal journey around love and loss, and not just from textbooks, but from real lived life.
- 1:47Miranda: And so there's not much that a person can throw at me around the topics of love or loss that I haven't been through or I don't get intimately because of what I've been through.
- 1:56Miranda: And all the stuff on the bookshelf is just an added bonus.
- 1:59Miranda: All the constellations and an LP and all of that jazz.
- 2:03Miranda: But, um.
- 2:04Miranda: Yeah.
- 2:05Miranda: Bit of a, uh, medicine woman at heart as well and love weaving through magic and spirituality wherever I can as well.
- 2:11Tracy: Hmm, and you so embody that too, which is beautiful.
- 2:14Tracy: That's so beautiful.
- 2:16Miranda: Thank you.
- 2:16Miranda: Cosmic,
- 2:17Tracy: you and I met in Sydney last year.
- 2:20Miranda: That's right.
- 2:21Miranda: Yes.
- 2:21Miranda: Thank you for reminding me where I reside because sometimes I think it's another planet I'm based in Sydney.
- 2:26Miranda: Uh, yeah, we did in Sydney last year at a few events actually.
- 2:31Miranda: And um, I dunno about you, but it was love at first sight on my end.
- 2:35Tracy: I was like, who's that lady over there?
- 2:37Miranda: Oh yeah,
- 2:37Tracy: I know here.
- 2:39Miranda: Absolutely.
- 2:40Miranda: Absolutely.
- 2:40Miranda: Yeah.
- 2:41Tracy: And worked with Maria.
- 2:44Tracy: For six, eight months.
- 2:46Tracy: Like it was over a long period of time, wasn't it?
- 2:48Tracy: It was quite, it was a
- 2:49Miranda: full calendar year with different events all, all throughout it in the beautiful constellation space.
- 2:55Miranda: And um, yeah, that was a beautiful environment to meet in as we learn all the, you know, in your case, deepening the learnings and in my case, adding those learnings to my tool.
- 3:06Tracy: I was trying to be incognito and I think they did all right for the first day or two until someone outed me.
- 3:14Tracy: Me at the end.
- 3:15Tracy: As to who I was, I was just trying to be, oh, I'll just blend in here.
- 3:19Tracy: No one's gonna know that.
- 3:20Tracy: I've been a facilitator for a long time.
- 3:22Tracy: So
- 3:23Miranda: I think you outed yourself just quietly with your aura.
- 3:25Miranda: 'cause I walked in and I'm scanning the room and I'm like, who is that?
- 3:29Miranda: And I think I asked.
- 3:31Miranda: Yeah, no, it's beautiful to have, um, have you and bring all your New Zealand experience and, and international experience into the, it was amazing.
- 3:39Tracy: Thank you.
- 3:40Tracy: Yeah, it was a, it was a, it was a great experience being there.
- 3:43Tracy: Absolutely.
- 3:43Tracy: Oh
- 3:43Miranda: yeah.
- 3:44Miranda: Oh yeah,
- 3:45Tracy: they tell.
- 3:45Tracy: Tell me, how did Constellations find you?
- 3:49Miranda: I love that question.
- 3:50Miranda: Very well worded.
- 3:52Miranda: I'm gonna change my feedback form.
- 3:55Miranda: Uh, constellations found me.
- 3:57Miranda: So I am a coach and a facilitator and I can train trainers and give them their certificate and all of that in things like NLP, hypnotherapy timeline therapy.
- 4:08Miranda: And whilst I love and live and breathe those modalities, uh, they.
- 4:14Miranda: They're quite heady in nature and ripple maybe into the emotions.
- 4:17Miranda: So being someone that's very heart focused, myself, I've always been on the lookout for modalities to compliment that because, you know, we're a mind, body, spirit, emotions, heart a lot.
- 4:28Miranda: And um, I've seen different people just by being in the personal development space for so long.
- 4:34Miranda: Do different activities, and some of them have labeled what they're doing and some of them haven't.
- 4:38Miranda: And some of it has been hybrids, but I've been saying this kind of, I used to call it role play work, uh, woven into the personal development industry, but I could never quite put my finger on what it was.
- 4:52Miranda: And in the last couple of years after doing my own soul searching and really feeling like I need to drop into that heart space and and somatic space more fully, I was like, right, I need to add some new medicine to my goodie box.
- 5:07Miranda: Yeah.
- 5:07Miranda: And I started doing some research and actually came across Maria, who we both know.
- 5:12Miranda: And um, I. Went on the mission of, of getting in contact and seeing what it was about and did my first few formal trainings.
- 5:20Miranda: And there was just this real remembering.
- 5:22Miranda: I didn't feel like I was learning something new.
- 5:24Miranda: I felt like I was remembering something I've always known and not just from the actual role plays I'd done, but in my soul I was like, I'm home.
- 5:32Miranda: And so, uh, that that's how it, it found me.
- 5:36Miranda: And it only took not too many workshops before I was like, right, how do I do the facilitator version of this and deep dive and.
- 5:43Miranda: Here we are today.
- 5:44Miranda: And yeah, I'm totally in love with that as a modality and just, um, love how it incorporates the body, the heart, the field lineage, ancestral healing, and just all these, these beautiful topics that I, I was having an inkling there was more but didn't know how to.
- 6:04Miranda: Package that up and Constellations found me and went, here I am.
- 6:08Miranda: This is how you package it up.
- 6:09Miranda: And it just weaves beautifully together with those other modalities linguistically and taking it off to the side and, and working with those other kind of breakthroughs.
- 6:19Miranda: And it's all just, yeah, I'm in love as you can hear.
- 6:23Tracy: Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:24Tracy: I, I'm right there with you.
- 6:26Tracy: How do you describe Constellations to people like.
- 6:29Miranda: Mm,
- 6:29Tracy: you're introducing it as a new modality to someone?
- 6:33Miranda: Mm. That's a really, another good question.
- 6:35Miranda: This isn't your first rodeo, is it Hitting me?
- 6:39Tracy: Been here once or twice,
- 6:40Miranda: just just a once or twice.
- 6:42Miranda: So how I describe it to people, a lot of these modalities that they're, they're quite frustrating because they're powerful and life changing and magical, but it's quite difficult to describe them without sounding like you might need, um, to be put in the loony bin or something, so.
- 6:56Miranda: Mm-hmm.
- 6:57Miranda: Uh, and I tend to like to, when I explain things where I can link it to what the person would potentially get out of it.
- 7:05Miranda: So if I was talking to someone that had maybe a bit of stuckness around relationships with parents, then I might say, there's a workshop coming up I think you'd really love.
- 7:19Miranda: It's called Family Constellations.
- 7:21Miranda: It's where we can, uh, get you into your body.
- 7:27Miranda: And bypass that beautiful brain of yours a little bit and really start to look at the trapped energy, the intuitive insights, the things that you can't access by thinking about this all the time.
- 7:44Miranda: In your body, in your heart, in your spirit, and even in something called the field, which is a little bit mysterious, and you'll find out what that means when you do it.
- 7:51Miranda: And I do that as a little bit of a cliffhanger to evoke curiosity.
- 7:56Miranda: And I say, but it basically, if you're ready to shift that or start to shift that, then I feel like this could be a really different, beautiful, powerful modality for you to try.
- 8:05Miranda: I
- 8:06Tracy: love that.
- 8:07Miranda: Always link it to what the person wants to get outta
- 8:10Tracy: it.
- 8:10Tracy: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:11Tracy: Often I'm often, when I'm saying it and I'm describing, I might give them a little quick.
- 8:15Tracy: Brief description.
- 8:17Tracy: Mm. And I'll say, I might say something like, oh, you know, when you are, there might be a mother who maybe at six had a, some sort of trauma and da da da.
- 8:25Tracy: And they'll go, you've just said my story.
- 8:28Tracy: You know, like, it totally, it's, it's the field again once mm-hmm.
- 8:32Tracy: Into that person, and you, you go, oh, okay.
- 8:35Tracy: Just like the randoms that popped in.
- 8:37Tracy: But knowing, knowing that it's never random.
- 8:39Tracy: Right?
- 8:40Tracy: Yes.
- 8:41Tracy: The things that we're sharing as well.
- 8:43Miranda: Absolutely.
- 8:44Miranda: That's beautiful.
- 8:45Miranda: That gave me goosebumps.
- 8:46Tracy: Now I know there've been some really big shifts in your life since I first met you last year, and, and, um, yeah.
- 8:56Tracy: And, and would, how would you attribute constellations to those things?
- 9:00Miranda: Well, yeah, the, I like to say that the soulmate coach got soulmate coached by herself and by the field, because since discovering a constellation, so basically I've been doing this relationship jam for a while and I did what a lot of healers do, which is.
- 9:20Miranda: Help everyone else and go, oh, get to me.
- 9:22Miranda: And not from a, you know, toxic and congruent place, but there was a deep trusting that I would actually get to me, but, or, and 'cause the word, but deletes everything you said before it.
- 9:34Miranda: And I didn't mean to do that.
- 9:35Miranda: I realized, you know what?
- 9:38Miranda: I actually feel ready to meet my soulmate.
- 9:41Miranda: And go down the path that I've helped so many others go down.
- 9:45Miranda: And whilst when you are a coach, you know, I, I'm always authentic.
- 9:50Miranda: I'll be very real whether I'm single or soulmate, I think they're both just as fabulous and both come with just as many learnings and, and opportunities and downfalls so that I don't have a bias to one way or the other, even though the, the name might suggest I do.
- 10:03Miranda: But I just, in my soul was actually ready to have a really fulfilling relationship.
- 10:07Miranda: I felt called and ready.
- 10:09Miranda: I decided to go on a bit of a hiatus and pause my coaching business.
- 10:13Miranda: And actually go on a self-love and soulmate adventure of my own and do all the things that I teach.
- 10:18Miranda: And so I deep dived into my own personal development, my own healing.
- 10:25Miranda: It took me on a wild adventure involving shamanic medicine, plant medicine, all the medicines, mind, body, spirit, different modalities.
- 10:34Miranda: And I just let myself immerse not from the point of view of, oh, great, I'm gonna immerse and learn this and go and teach and help someone else.
- 10:41Miranda: But just from the.
- 10:42Miranda: Just, just fully dropping in and going, I'm just gonna absorb this, the end for me as a gift to me.
- 10:49Miranda: And I, for those of you that don't know me, I do have quite a big backstory.
- 10:53Miranda: Losing my mom 10 years ago, adopting my baby sister.
- 10:57Miranda: It's, um, yeah, it's been, it's been a, a, a less, a life filled with love and lessons and loss.
- 11:04Miranda: And I felt like it was a bit of a stop and pause and, and do some deeper work around all my stuff.
- 11:09Miranda: So did that found constellations.
- 11:11Miranda: It was one of those first few trainings and I've actually, it's probably been over the last couple of years that I've taken that break and, um, went along.
- 11:20Miranda: It's actually Maria's course and I was so excited 'cause I tracked her down.
- 11:24Miranda: I knew what it was and was in there and we spent the entire time looking at the father line.
- 11:31Miranda: And I actually realized I grew up without my dad directly in my life.
- 11:37Miranda: He and my mom broke up when I was five and I did a lot of healing around that masculine lineage.
- 11:43Miranda: And I realized that I had some stories and some trapped energy and trust issues around that, and that was affecting my own relationship with my own inner, a masculine feminine energy, and therefore the ripple effect into.
- 11:57Miranda: The relationships I had with the outer masculine and feminine energies.
- 12:01Miranda: So I did some unlocking and healing around that.
- 12:03Miranda: Nothing to do directly with soulmate, but just around that masculine father line and.
- 12:09Miranda: I did some meditation as I was integrating that process and I got the download, you need to sit with your dad and just be really soft and really gentle, and I hadn't seen him for years and every time I had seen him, I thought about it and I'd kind of been in my masculine energy or some kind of armored energy where I had been very, me initiating me, driving the conversation using humorous armor, all that kind of stuff because the vulnerable little girl in me was really scared.
- 12:37Miranda: To let out how I actually felt about that.
- 12:40Miranda: And so I just booked a time.
- 12:43Miranda: I trusted the download, just hung out with him.
- 12:46Miranda: It was probably for half an hour or 50 minutes, and I was just really soft and gentle in front of him.
- 12:50Miranda: We didn't talk about anything profound.
- 12:52Miranda: It was just How's your day?
- 12:53Miranda: Maybe Curious.
- 12:55Miranda: Had a little chat and then I left, and then on the ferry on the way home from him, I got this other big download, which was, life's Too Short.
- 13:05Miranda: Stop putting off the thing.
- 13:08Miranda: Put aside your ego and put yourself out there and so, and do it from this energy.
- 13:14Miranda: And so being a dating coach, I have done the online dating thing before, but it's quite hard to switch off my brain where I, again, am a bit armored.
- 13:22Miranda: I know how to talk the talk, I know how to get a lot of matches because I understand female and male psychology really bloody well in a dating context.
- 13:29Miranda: But it's hard to unlearn what you know.
- 13:32Miranda: And I looked Sure
- 13:33Tracy: is
- 13:33Miranda: I kind of wrote my profile as the curious soft.
- 13:36Miranda: Little girl who said, when I grow up, I wanna meet my soulmate and I wanna wear a white dress and I wanna get married and I wanna have a baby.
- 13:43Miranda: And I wonder if you looked after and I wanna look after you.
- 13:46Miranda: And, and I got all gooey and gentle and I didn't even edit it.
- 13:50Miranda: And the first swipe I had the first.
- 13:54Miranda: Is now the man that I am planning a wedding with and have a little boy cooking in my womb with.
- 14:00Miranda: And it was all a ripple effect from that constellation and
- 14:04Tracy: so beautiful.
- 14:05Miranda: And here I am and I'm now having a little boy, which is really interesting with the masculine line.
- 14:09Miranda: And um, yeah, it's, it's really powerful, this stuff.
- 14:13Miranda: So the work that I do with constellations, I wanna weave into that relationship space 'cause it just feels so yummy and congruent because I've seen the magic of that.
- 14:24Tracy: Oh, fantastic.
- 14:26Tracy: Fantastic.
- 14:27Tracy: So not long to go.
- 14:28Tracy: You've got.
- 14:29Tracy: Mm. Four
- 14:31Miranda: months.
- 14:32Miranda: He's due on my birthday, so I call him my little gift from the field, from Wow.
- 14:37Miranda: From whoever and wherever.
- 14:39Miranda: Um, so my birthday's on March 20th, so I think I'm about 31, 32 weeks.
- 14:44Miranda: I've kind of stopped counting.
- 14:45Miranda: I'm at that, I'm at that stage where we stop counting calories, we stop counting kilos, and we stopped counting weeks.
- 14:51Tracy: Yeah.
- 14:52Miranda: Uh, so yeah.
- 14:53Miranda: Few, a few weeks ago.
- 14:55Miranda: And I'm planning a beautiful home birth, so.
- 14:58Miranda: We're gonna weave in, um, shamanic drumming and beautiful music.
- 15:03Miranda: She's a beau.
- 15:04Miranda: Got two gorgeous private midwives that I've come across, and we're planning all of that at the moment and definitely gonna, um, make it a, a bit of a birthing ceremony and bring back the magic of birth.
- 15:15Tracy: Lovely.
- 15:16Tracy: How is that work in Australia?
- 15:18Tracy: Is that funded governmently or do you have to pay for that?
- 15:21Miranda: I have to pay for that.
- 15:23Miranda: Um, unfortunately, but luckily it's, it's becoming a more recognized.
- 15:28Miranda: Way of doing things.
- 15:29Miranda: So, you know, there's such a spectrum with birth where there's, you know, full on hospital, full on private obstetrician or public with who, whatever doctor you get.
- 15:38Miranda: And then there's, you know, the, the private system and then there's sort of free birthing with do it fully yourself.
- 15:44Miranda: And what I love is I thought that home birthing was a bit of a woowoo thing to do, but actually all the major hospitals here have it as a program, as long as you're low risk that even the hospitals endorse.
- 15:55Miranda: But if you.
- 15:57Miranda: Just go through the regular public system.
- 15:59Miranda: You'll just get who you get as the midwives.
- 16:02Miranda: It might be one of four that rotate if they're on annual leave when you deliver, whereas when you that
- 16:06Tracy: come to your home.
- 16:08Miranda: They'll do visits at your home.
- 16:10Miranda: They can do the home birth, they can bring you to hospital if needed.
- 16:13Miranda: But in my case, I actually wanted, um, someone that I really resonated with and trusted deeply and I didn't want the person to change around.
- 16:22Miranda: So that's why I decided to do it privately and and fund.
- 16:26Miranda: But you don't have to.
- 16:27Miranda: There's lots of options.
- 16:28Tracy: Gosh, we are lucky here in New Zealand.
- 16:30Tracy: We've got, uh, yeah, we.
- 16:33Tracy: Midwives are available to everybody.
- 16:35Tracy: Um, private midwives that, and we can home birth or we can hospital birth and we can free birth as well.
- 16:41Tracy: So it is all a choice.
- 16:42Tracy: You don't have to pay for it.
- 16:44Miranda: Beautiful.
- 16:45Miranda: Yeah.
- 16:45Tracy: Pretty amazing.
- 16:46Tracy: Amazing.
- 16:47Miranda: Yeah.
- 16:47Tracy: Yeah.
- 16:47Miranda: So that's, yeah, that, that's my, um, my next big adventure that the field.
- 16:53Miranda: So that's,
- 16:54Tracy: uh, that's, that's very cool.
- 16:56Tracy: Very cool.
- 16:57Tracy: Yeah.
- 16:58Miranda: Yeah.
- 16:59Tracy: Oh, straight away.
- 16:59Tracy: I just wanna look at my wall.
- 17:01Tracy: My wall's kind of got some inspirational why some words on it.
- 17:03Tracy: Mm.
- 17:05Tracy: First word that I look at and that comes to mind is loss and grief.
- 17:10Tracy: Now, you touched briefly on that before.
- 17:13Tracy: Um, is that something that you feel I happy to talk about?
- 17:17Miranda: I'm a Scorpio rising.
- 17:18Miranda: I live in the dark depth, darling.
- 17:19Miranda: Like, let's go there.
- 17:20Miranda: I'm, I'm relieved you brought it back onto the table.
- 17:23Miranda: Even when I said it, I felt my little ego chime in and go, oh, is that a bit too heavy to bring up?
- 17:27Miranda: So thank you for bringing up
- 17:29Tracy: No, that's what this, that's what, that's what this is about, right?
- 17:32Miranda: Yeah.
- 17:32Miranda: And I, I, I think in this, um, you know, I'm, I'm a. A big believer that births deaths and marriages are all just as beautiful and exciting and rites of passage, and should it all be on the table and the taboo that we feel around sharing them, you know, let, let's break that here and now.
- 17:48Miranda: So bring it on.
- 17:50Tracy: Well, what, what would you like to share about that?
- 17:51Tracy: Because it's, um,
- 17:53Miranda: yeah, look, I'm happy to get really real and raw around that.
- 17:56Miranda: My beautiful mom, who's still very much around me in angel form, uh, she passed away due to mental health.
- 18:04Miranda: Uh, the big S in, um, it was 10 years ago now.
- 18:08Miranda: I can't believe it's been 10 years with
- 18:10Tracy: wow
- 18:11Miranda: loss and grief.
- 18:12Miranda: It's such a, it's like a psychedelic drug.
- 18:14Miranda: Like you, it feels like it was yesterday and it feels like it never happened all at the same time, but it, it has been 10 years, but that's colored.
- 18:24Miranda: Very much who I am and the work that I do, and who I help and how I help them, because that really set me on a path of my own healing and resolving my own trauma around that and,
- 18:39Tracy: mm-hmm.
- 18:39Miranda: Creating my own narrative around that, forming a new relationship with her without her human body around anymore.
- 18:46Miranda: And um, yeah, that's all really active I guess for me, becoming a mother now.
- 18:52Miranda: So.
- 18:52Tracy: Well, she lived you a bit of a legacy there, didn't she?
- 18:55Miranda: Yeah.
- 18:56Miranda: Oh, she, I couldn't be more proud to have a more beautiful mother as a role model.
- 19:01Miranda: I, I really do feel our parents teach us in what they teach us and what they give us in the light aspects, I guess.
- 19:09Miranda: They teach us to walk, they teach us to talk, they teach us whatever other things they teach us, but they also teach us through the, the shadows and what they were not able to give us, what they were not able to be here for.
- 19:20Miranda: And yeah, she, um, she had her, her own demons and battles, which unfortunately took her back home to source.
- 19:29Miranda: Yeah.
- 19:29Miranda: Whatever it is, we all go whatever we believe
- 19:31Tracy: in, and pull to that pull to death.
- 19:33Tracy: Hey, was was strong.
- 19:34Tracy: Yeah.
- 19:35Miranda: Yeah.
- 19:35Miranda: And you know what?
- 19:36Miranda: It just makes you realize mental health's no joke that will to live that we all have, that switch can be flicked, whether it's, you know, situational or whether it's psychological or.
- 19:48Miranda: Trauma that you haven't resolved from childhood and, you know, all the work that I do, whether I talk about it directly or not, or whether that kind of thing has impacted who I help or not.
- 19:57Miranda: Just that, that deep knowing of the importance of this work and releasing the things that we're ready to release, I carry that with me and I don't take that lightly.
- 20:05Miranda: It's, it, it is the difference of life or death in many cases.
- 20:08Miranda: Yeah.
- 20:09Tracy: And so how old were, sorry, this is a personal question here.
- 20:13Tracy: How old were you when mum left?
- 20:16Miranda: Ask me whatever.
- 20:17Miranda: The more personal, the better.
- 20:18Miranda: You should know that by now.
- 20:20Miranda: Well, juicy questions allowed.
- 20:22Miranda: Um, so I'm
- 20:23Tracy: just being polite.
- 20:24Miranda: I'm now 40 and side note, mothers that birth at 40 are more likely to live to 90 or a hundred Useful.
- 20:31Miranda: That for anyone out there deciding to do what I do and juggling a toddler with menopause potentially.
- 20:36Miranda: I
- 20:37Tracy: got close to 40, but
- 20:39Miranda: sorry, I was 30, 10 years ago.
- 20:41Miranda: Um, and uh, yeah.
- 20:44Tracy: So you became, you then stepped into becoming a mother role at 30.
- 20:49Miranda: I did.
- 20:49Miranda: I did.
- 20:50Miranda: So I, it was me and my beautiful sister, Lily, and she at the time was 12.
- 20:54Miranda: I at the time was 30.
- 20:56Miranda: And um, I took Lily in and we became the new family unit.
- 21:02Miranda: So.
- 21:04Miranda: Whilst she'll always be genetically my sister, uh, and will always be a hybrid.
- 21:08Miranda: Because of that, I did step into that mom energy and she, you know, the language I use around that to honor it.
- 21:14Miranda: 'cause as we know, we're a constellations community.
- 21:17Miranda: Um, the order of love is really important and she is my, my beautiful sister, but I've always called her my little one.
- 21:24Miranda: Even since you Yeah.
- 21:25Miranda: When I was around and I kind of kept that label 'cause it honors that hybrid without giving her a title that doesn't acknowledge.
- 21:32Miranda: Our mom.
- 21:33Miranda: But yeah, she's my little one.
- 21:34Miranda: So I lost my mom and kind of became a mom around the same time, which was a huge learning opportunity, a huge loving opportunity, a really unusual situation to have.
- 21:46Miranda: All of that beauty and joy combined with all of that tragedy at once.
- 21:50Miranda: It was, yeah, it was really big.
- 21:53Tracy: Yeah.
- 21:53Miranda: Yeah.
- 21:54Tracy: And through the Constellation workers, has it helped you to understand your mom more?
- 21:59Miranda: Oh yeah.
- 22:00Miranda: Oh yeah.
- 22:01Miranda: Um, it's actually interesting how powerful constellation work is that just by being a representative for other people or working on other stuff going on in your life, it's amazing how it heals things like this situation without you directed directly, having to work on it head on.
- 22:18Miranda: So I never felt the need to directly.
- 22:22Miranda: Work on it because all the other little micro breakthroughs I got kind of healed.
- 22:27Miranda: Something around that as well as all the other work I've done.
- 22:30Miranda: But, um, a really powerful recent one, it was, uh, at a big, uh, constellation conference recently here in Australia, was I did some beautiful work around blended families and around orders of love.
- 22:44Miranda: So.
- 22:45Miranda: Coming together with my beautiful partner.
- 22:48Miranda: He has a daughter of his own.
- 22:50Miranda: I came with my beautiful little one, and then we both had a black cat each, which was convenient.
- 22:56Miranda: So we've got our witchy blended household with two little black cats, and now a little boy on the way for the cherry on top.
- 23:02Miranda: But there's a, there's a lot of complexity there with, you know, the blended family orders of love and, and just to see that all mapped out and for me to connect with.
- 23:14Miranda: Intuitively how everyone's sitting with that outside of myself.
- 23:18Miranda: 'cause I know how I sit with those different dynamics, but, and I can imagine how others sit with those dynamics, but to actually embody it was really, really powerful.
- 23:27Miranda: And that felt something click.
- 23:30Miranda: So that was, that was really powerful.
- 23:32Tracy: Was it with Melanie?
- 23:34Miranda: It was, yeah.
- 23:35Tracy: Beautiful.
- 23:36Tracy: Beautiful.
- 23:37Miranda: Yeah.
- 23:37Miranda: Yeah.
- 23:38Miranda: And it was amazing because we've, my partner and our beautiful blended family, we've come together.
- 23:43Miranda: And all been living under the one roof.
- 23:46Miranda: It's all been quite recent, really.
- 23:48Miranda: It's been in the, the time that I paused coaching.
- 23:50Miranda: It's all been in the last couple of years, so it's still relatively early.
- 23:54Miranda: And um, being a bit of a perfectionist at times and also having all of this knowledge about these empowering modalities.
- 24:02Miranda: I was like, why, why is there any little energetic prickles and why is this feeling tricky and new and and awkward?
- 24:08Miranda: And I feel like I'm riding with my left hand here and I should be nailing this.
- 24:11Miranda: And, and Melanie, who is an expert in blended families with constellations, among other things, said in Europe and places like that.
- 24:21Miranda: Blended families is an entire area of study, and it's a well known fact that it can take up to six years for a blended family for the nervous systems of everyone to kind of relax and everyone to know their place and feel at home.
- 24:35Miranda: And that's with help.
- 24:36Miranda: That's with experts like her who actually know how to help.
- 24:39Miranda: All the individuals and the, and the groups, and I'm like, all right, I've got to get off my own case here.
- 24:44Miranda: It's been a, a couple of years and you know, we're all going beautifully.
- 24:48Miranda: We all love each other.
- 24:48Miranda: It's all gorgeous.
- 24:50Miranda: But it's, um, it's like doing a daily constellation with all these new representatives you're hanging out with and playing with and different personality types and Yeah, it's interesting.
- 24:59Tracy: Absolutely, because you've got your, you've got your child and then you've got your partner and there's this.
- 25:07Tracy: Um, you know, there's the loyalties, the different, the dynamics and the Hmm,
- 25:13Miranda: absolutely.
- 25:14Miranda: Really, really interesting, amazing, beautiful, rewarding kind of stuff to, to be involved.
- 25:20Miranda: So,
- 25:20Tracy: so what, what did you notice or have you noticed?
- 25:23Tracy: Maybe it's too early.
- 25:24Tracy: I don't know.
- 25:25Miranda: Yeah.
- 25:26Miranda: I mean, coming from the relationship framework that I do, it's, it's really, and, and understanding personality types and attachment styles, that kind of stuff has been quite.
- 25:37Miranda: Obvious to me because you can really see the members of the unit that are more avoidant, leaning from an attachment style point of view.
- 25:45Miranda: They want to come home after masking all day and pretending that they like all that connection and that stimulation all day, and they wanna come home and just be little quiet, introverted cats that want no stimulation, minimal interaction, quiet.
- 26:00Miranda: That's the nervous system regulation because there's, there's been a lot of output all day and that introverted kind of self-regulation is what's being craved.
- 26:09Miranda: And then the more extroverted or anxious attachment leaning characters in the household, you can see that maybe a day out in the world there hasn't been enough genuine connection and, and that extroversion in a really meaningful way.
- 26:22Miranda: So they come home and they're kind of wanting that honestness.
- 26:24Miranda: So it's about navigating those.
- 26:27Miranda: Um, different nervous system needs and different, um, relationship styles in a way that's beautiful and respectful.
- 26:35Miranda: And, but then that, that teaches everyone to learn how to communicate and set boundaries and ask for what they need, which is only growth at the end of the day.
- 26:44Miranda: Because when you're in your own little bubble that you've been used to for x amount of years, you don't realize how many things are just unsaid that just.
- 26:52Miranda: Get those needs met.
- 26:54Miranda: And when you're a new container, you've actually got, which you don't, don't have to do anything but you, if you want it to feel good and, and work, you can choose to actually do that and, and open your throat.
- 27:06Miranda: And open your voice.
- 27:07Miranda: And open your heart and try emphasize other ways of doing things and have that beautiful mirror put up to you and gone, oh God, I'm a bit of an asshole to live with, aren't I?
- 27:15Miranda: Or whatever it is.
- 27:17Miranda: So.
- 27:18Miranda: No, it's all, it's all, um, luckily we've all got very loving, considerate, emotionally intelligent beings, so it's all flowing together nicely.
- 27:26Miranda: But yeah, it's, it's, um, it's not without a few lessons along the way, that's for sure.
- 27:32Tracy: Yeah, I can imagine.
- 27:33Tracy: It's, it's lovely.
- 27:35Miranda: Just add a screaming baby to the mix now, just when we got it.
- 27:38Miranda: All right.
- 27:40Tracy: Oh, he's gonna be cool.
- 27:42Miranda: Oh, he's gonna be adorable.
- 27:44Tracy: Oh, you've got something coming up.
- 27:45Miranda: Oh yeah, I thought you meant in, in the field.
- 27:47Miranda: I'm like, oh, you got it.
- 27:49Tracy: Book See or Aura.
- 27:53Miranda: I do have something coming up.
- 27:55Miranda: So, um, on February 15th, nice and close to Valentine's Day, but not Valentine's Day.
- 28:03Miranda: I'm doing a beautiful workshop with a very dear sister friend.
- 28:07Miranda: Of mine and her superpower is very much singing and song, but not in a stuffy kind of choir singing class way in a very.
- 28:19Miranda: It's her magic, and she does that internationally and she's beautiful at what she does.
- 28:23Miranda: I met her at an event just like meeting you at an event, and her voice, again, it was love at first sight.
- 28:29Miranda: She just sings straight from the hearts, straight from the soul, but also has the ability to get that out in you even if you've never sung before.
- 28:38Miranda: Mm.
- 28:39Tracy: Beautiful.
- 28:40Miranda: Yeah, some I, I don't know if anyone listening can relate to this, but I've been to so many.
- 28:45Miranda: Retreats or workshops where I've seen beautiful elders or sisters or brothers sing, and I've just gone, oh, I wish I could do that.
- 28:53Miranda: That must feel so freeing and beautiful to open your mouth, sing your guts out, and have it sound beautiful and feel beautiful.
- 29:01Miranda: And she had a calling to do a workshop.
- 29:06Miranda: Soonish and we got on the phone and she was going, oh, I'm feeling this.
- 29:09Miranda: And I said, you know what?
- 29:11Miranda: I'm actually feeling a workshop.
- 29:12Miranda: And we were both kind of co-creating the same workshop separately.
- 29:16Miranda: Mine was gonna be a women's workshop all about opening your voice from a, more of a sharing and public speaking, speaking your truth point of view, which is my medicine.
- 29:25Miranda: And she was feeling it from a let's have a women's circle and sing and make friends with our own voice.
- 29:31Miranda: And so.
- 29:33Miranda: I said to her, you know, we could both be doing the exact same thing basically separately, or we could hold hands and, and collaborate and, and really have fun doing it because, you know, let's face it, we have fun at the workshop, but all the marketing before it is a bit, you know Yeah.
- 29:47Miranda: Bit of
- 29:47Tracy: work involved, isn't it?
- 29:48Tracy: Isn't there?
- 29:49Miranda: It is.
- 29:49Miranda: It is.
- 29:50Miranda: So,
- 29:51Tracy: so whereabouts in Sydney is it?
- 29:52Miranda: So it's actually at, um, Bondi, which is interesting because that's where the recent tragedies happened on Bondi Beach.
- 29:59Miranda: It's in the Bondi Pavilion, which is literally exactly where that happened.
- 30:04Miranda: And we had already decided to work together, decided to run this event, and started the conversation with that venue.
- 30:11Miranda: And then the Bondi.
- 30:13Miranda: Really sad events recently happened and we stopped and we were a bit taken aback 'cause it was, you know, we were literally there that morning talking to them, which, you know, just, that's a whole other conversation.
- 30:27Miranda: But we decided to keep the event there even though it's a, you know, quite an activated space at the moment because.
- 30:36Miranda: Rather than protesting for what we don't want, let's inject into it what we do want, which is love.
- 30:41Miranda: And this event is all about love.
- 30:42Miranda: So there'll be deep respect shown for the land that it's on in terms of, you know, the indigenous land, but also in terms of, you know, pouring some great love and healing into that space around what's happened recently.
- 30:55Miranda: So,
- 30:56Tracy: absolutely, and I think it would put, it would.
- 30:58Tracy: It would open for the opportunity for people to maybe release the sound that, you know, 'cause when you hear of something like that, that was, um, shocking to the system.
- 31:08Miranda: Mm-hmm.
- 31:08Tracy: And maybe there's an opportunity there to be able to release that sound from your body.
- 31:13Miranda: Absolutely.
- 31:14Miranda: Absolutely.
- 31:15Miranda: So this, yeah, this event's gonna be a real, a really good release.
- 31:18Miranda: It's a four hour long, little half day workshop on a Sunday.
- 31:22Miranda: And, um, it's, it's called Singing Your Heart Song for 2026.
- 31:26Miranda: So we'll be setting our intention, we'll be releasing what we need to release, making friends with our voice.
- 31:31Miranda: Having along the vibe will be more like a. A women's circle or a workshop rather than a singing class or a choir.
- 31:39Miranda: Yeah.
- 31:39Miranda: I personally am not a trained singer.
- 31:42Miranda: Um, so I know how nerve wracking this is probably gonna be for some of the people coming potentially How exciting and not nerve wracking it's gonna be for others.
- 31:50Miranda: Mm-hmm.
- 31:50Miranda: And on the flip side, some people might love that and be really scared because I said the word sharing and.
- 31:55Miranda: Public speaking is their biggest fear.
- 31:57Miranda: But this is, yeah, gonna be a really safe space where people do as much or as little as they want to fully supported, safe, cheekiness, fun, all, all the right elements to drop into it.
- 32:09Miranda: And, and that heart and that throat will release exactly what it's ready to on the day.
- 32:14Tracy: Yeah.
- 32:14Tracy: For those who are ready to really rock into it, or those who are just willing to, to open a little bit.
- 32:20Tracy: So, so you have a flyer for that.
- 32:22Miranda: I do have a fly for that.
- 32:24Miranda: Absolutely.
- 32:24Miranda: Yeah.
- 32:25Tracy: Okay, well if you pass that over to me and I will edit to the link
- 32:30Miranda: your marketing Yeah.
- 32:31Miranda: I'll send you the details, info for anyone that's interested.
- 32:35Miranda: But, um, I, I did do a plant medicine retreat.
- 32:40Miranda: As part of this adventure that I've been on, and, um, singing was part of that.
- 32:45Miranda: It was the first time I had sung publicly, so I know firsthand how, how much it is about singing, but it's also not about singing.
- 32:53Miranda: The, the breakthroughs and the self-love and the self-trust and the self-acceptance and all of the things other than singing that come because of the singing.
- 33:03Miranda: The singing becomes the byproduct of all of that.
- 33:06Miranda: So I'm all about personal development and growth and transformation.
- 33:10Miranda: So for me, this is just a beautiful vehicle to express that in.
- 33:13Miranda: So yeah, I'm delighted to kind of co-create this and do this.
- 33:18Tracy: Yeah.
- 33:19Miranda: Or singing myself.
- 33:20Tracy: So.
- 33:21Tracy: I've got a bit of FOMO on the other side of the ditch, but you know, I'm sure you guys are gonna have a great time.
- 33:26Tracy: It sounds, it sounds amazing.
- 33:28Miranda: We'll call it, even this pregnant tummy of mine that's not quite ready to get on planes is looking at all of your stuff going,
- 33:33Tracy: dammit.
- 33:34Tracy: Where does that have to be?
- 33:34Tracy: Now we
- 33:36Miranda: get to it all.
- 33:36Tracy: Oh, there'll be more.
- 33:37Tracy: There'll be more, I'm sure.
- 33:39Tracy: Hmm.
- 33:40Tracy: And what about um, your man, is he using constellations?
- 33:44Tracy: 'cause he came and trained with us as well.
- 33:46Miranda: Yeah.
- 33:46Miranda: Real men do personal development.
- 33:49Miranda: Yeah, he, um, we actually ended up doing the trainings together, so I was quite sneaky because when I looked at the facilitator training, it took up a lot of weekends over the 12 months that we did it.
- 34:02Miranda: And so my proposition to him when I looked at it was like, babe, I've got a, um, something I really want to do and I feel really called to do.
- 34:10Miranda: It does kind of interfere with date night, which we like to do every Saturday night, but I'm like, my counter offer to that is that, would you like to come and join me so that when I run.
- 34:21Miranda: Workshops and retreats and include this.
- 34:23Miranda: Mm. Then, you know, you can help me co-facilitate.
- 34:27Miranda: Or even if you're in the room just bringing your beautiful energy, you will know what it's all about at a deeper level and it might be a good chance for us to bond and learn something.
- 34:36Tracy: Had he had, he done constellations?
- 34:38Miranda: Oh, he, he, he's a corporate dude that, um, that.
- 34:43Miranda: Love it, open minded and totally, you know, a medicine man and doesn't know it, but he, he's new to all of this stuff and he, um, yeah, I, I really, that's one of my favorite things about him is the, the openness.
- 34:56Miranda: 'cause after running so many of these trainings myself, you look around the room and often it's 90% women or 80% women.
- 35:03Tracy: Yes, totally.
- 35:03Miranda: And the beautiful men that are there.
- 35:05Miranda: Seem quite dragged in some cases.
- 35:08Miranda: And so to, um, to, I, I think I had a belief system before I met my partner that I had to be with someone who was just as spiritual.
- 35:17Miranda: Just interpersonal development, just as you know.
- 35:21Miranda: Into all the courses and seminars and books that I was, because it's such a big value for me.
- 35:26Miranda: But what I, I realized is just that, that openness and being open to it, uh, with whatever that looks like and not all, yeah, partners need to come front row, so please don't go and divorce your partner if they're not doing that.
- 35:38Miranda: But it's, um, yeah, it's, it's, it's been really lovely to go on that journey and have that be something that we have in common.
- 35:43Miranda: But it's all really brand new to him.
- 35:45Miranda: But he, he's just got that open heart and that open mind.
- 35:48Miranda: And is he's, he's been blown away by the results that he's had around self-love, around healing, family stuff, around knowing himself better, showing up as a father, our own relationship, and it gives us a really beautiful context that we can share and come back to.
- 36:08Miranda: Let's face it, it's not sexy if I try and coach my partner, even though I probably accidentally drift into that space sometimes.
- 36:14Miranda: So to actually have done a course or two Yeah.
- 36:16Miranda: And be able to go, oh, they, this could be an orders of love thing.
- 36:19Miranda: Or, oh, this could be a masculine feminine, and, and have that.
- 36:23Miranda: To come back to.
- 36:24Miranda: It's been a really nice touchstone that we can use when we're navigating our own relationship shit, or relationship as I call it.
- 36:32Tracy: Mm-hmm.
- 36:33Tracy: Desk with a T, not a P.
- 36:35Miranda: Yes, definitely a T that was borrowed with a girlfriend.
- 36:38Miranda: Actually, I think she made it up so I should probably shouldn't have credit, but I heard it a couple of years ago when she said it.
- 36:42Miranda: I was like, that's a good one.
- 36:44Miranda: Very descriptive.
- 36:45Tracy: That is, that is a very good one.
- 36:46Tracy: Um, yeah, I was always, um.
- 36:49Tracy: I admired his willingness to, to be able to drop it and to represent some very, um, you know, some big topics.
- 36:58Tracy: So,
- 36:59Miranda: yeah,
- 37:00Tracy: so to find, like, I didn't realize that he hadn't, um, really known Constellation, so.
- 37:06Miranda: No
- 37:07Tracy: big up to him.
- 37:08Miranda: Yeah.
- 37:09Miranda: And it's, it's a really good metaphor for, for the guys out there, you know, he, he's in his fifties and had never done anything like this before.
- 37:16Miranda: And by just having that openness and going, I'm gonna try something new, like, just see it as I've never skydive, I'll give that a crack, or I've never.
- 37:24Miranda: Been on a boat.
- 37:25Miranda: Let me give that like just an open curiosity down a path where he's now done, you know, other personal development men's groups.
- 37:32Miranda: He's made friends in that space.
- 37:34Miranda: He, um, and, and he's got, you know, so much out of it.
- 37:37Miranda: So I think there's a bit of a. A bit of resistance.
- 37:42Miranda: Just men in general, but also men over a certain age.
- 37:45Miranda: It's like you can't teach an old dog new tricks or, and it's like it's all rubbish.
- 37:48Miranda: You can totally go in and the blank brain plasticity, if you've got an open heart, an open mind, what you can get out of this stuff starting at any point, no matter who you are, is just, um.
- 38:00Miranda: Really profound.
- 38:01Miranda: But yeah, in our course, we kind of became the constellation couple because we were showing up together.
- 38:06Miranda: And, um, on day one we were both a little bit nervous and like, oh, what are we gonna say?
- 38:11Miranda: Are we gonna tell people that we actually trigger each other?
- 38:13Miranda: Or are we gonna pretend we're perfect?
- 38:14Miranda: What, like, look at all these new people in the room.
- 38:16Miranda: And by the end of it we um, we were kind of like, oh.
- 38:19Miranda: It's really annoying.
- 38:20Miranda: Nothing's triggered me this week, and I really want to get up there and work on something.
- 38:24Miranda: So I think we've, I
- 38:25Tracy: love that we, we'd start a, we'd start the weekend and you, one of you would look at each other and go, wow, I'm really feeling really triggered about some stuff here right now.
- 38:34Tracy: And
- 38:34Miranda: yeah,
- 38:35Tracy: and it was great.
- 38:35Tracy: It was great to see you guys being so open and authentic and, um, yeah, it was a beautiful, beautiful process to witness.
- 38:43Miranda: Yeah, it's, um, it kind of helped us reframe the triggers.
- 38:46Miranda: And even though I knew this intellectually, and I teach this to my clients, that helped me embody it, that the triggers are not, you're not with someone and you kind of, despite the triggers, you're with someone because of the triggers.
- 38:56Miranda: The triggers are the gateway.
- 38:59Miranda: To the learning, to the hard opening, to the mirror effect that only relationships can have.
- 39:04Miranda: So I think we've probably rewritten our vows because of constellations where it might've been, I do, I do for better and worse and all those usual ones.
- 39:11Miranda: And now it's probably, I look forward to being triggered by you for the rest of my life.
- 39:15Tracy: Uh, there's a t-shirt.
- 39:17Miranda: Totally get it engraved on the, um, on the ring trigger buddy instead of
- 39:23Tracy: husband.
- 39:23Tracy: Well, well, careful what you're saying.
- 39:24Miranda: True.
- 39:25Tracy: I look forward to working through our triggers together.
- 39:27Tracy: Maybe
- 39:28Miranda: a hundred percent.
- 39:28Miranda: I I should be careful.
- 39:29Miranda: The universe definitely does listen very closely to what I put out there.
- 39:33Tracy: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:34Tracy: And Leslie Nips, um, she said, you know, like in America trigger, the word trigger is, is big.
- 39:40Miranda: Mm.
- 39:40Tracy: With all, you know, the s and all that sort of stuff that's happening.
- 39:44Tracy: So they, they, they.
- 39:46Tracy: Tend to use the word activate a bit more.
- 39:49Miranda: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:50Tracy: Because it is an activation, isn't it?
- 39:52Tracy: Yeah.
- 39:52Tracy: Might not be.
- 39:52Tracy: Yeah.
- 39:53Tracy: Kind welcome one, but it's an activation.
- 39:56Tracy: No,
- 39:56Miranda: and I
- 39:57Tracy: kind of like, we can, we can activate or trigger ourselves into action as well to, uh, you know, oh that's just triggered my awareness that I need to dah or, that's
- 40:08Miranda: absolutely,
- 40:08Tracy: absolutely.
- 40:09Miranda: But it, the power of language, it's really important to pause.
- 40:13Miranda: Sometimes we use language just because it's the only language we've ever used, but when you do actually pause and go.
- 40:20Miranda: Is that really the right language?
- 40:21Miranda: Does that really have the frequency and the shadow and the light built into that word that I'm wanting?
- 40:27Miranda: And if not, is there a more useful word?
- 40:29Miranda: And I think that's a great example of that.
- 40:30Miranda: 'cause trigger, there is a bit of a word association to guns, to negative emotions, whereas Yeah, activated, you can have a Kundalini activation, you can have activated.
- 40:43Tracy: And also when you trigger, when you pull a trigger, it comes straight back at you, right?
- 40:46Miranda: Yeah.
- 40:48Miranda: A hundred percent
- 40:48Tracy: activation means there's a movement.
- 40:50Miranda: I love that.
- 40:51Miranda: I'm gonna borrow that one.
- 40:52Miranda: It's a really good one.
- 40:54Tracy: Yeah.
- 40:54Miranda: Yeah.
- 40:54Miranda: You're welcome.
- 40:55Miranda: Coming back to the, coming back to the mum stuff, it's, you know, even the, the language around committed suicide.
- 41:01Miranda: I've actually dropped that and not because I'm, if someone said that, I, I would have no issue.
- 41:08Miranda: It, it's my choice to use language in the way that I choose to use it.
- 41:11Miranda: And if someone's choosing to coach with me and giving me permission to call them out on their patterns, I might bring it up with them.
- 41:16Miranda: But outside of that, people are free to do and say what they want.
- 41:20Miranda: But you know, I, I don't like that language committing suicide.
- 41:24Miranda: There's association to committing murder, committing a crime.
- 41:27Miranda: And you know, I'd rather say they like you, would, they passed away from a heart attack or passed away from mental health or, you know, just let, let's neutralize that and take away the, the accusations and the connotations in, in language.
- 41:41Miranda: It's really powerful.
- 41:43Tracy: Yeah.
- 41:43Tracy: It's a big, it's a stigma, isn't it?
- 41:45Miranda: Oh yeah,
- 41:45Tracy: yeah,
- 41:45Miranda: absolutely.
- 41:46Miranda: And there's also these underlying judgements that are just so ingrained in language.
- 41:50Miranda: And language is a direct reflection of what's happening.
- 41:53Miranda: In your mind, there's a direct pathway.
- 41:56Miranda: So how someone's talking is how they're thinking and how they're thinking is how they're feeling.
- 42:00Miranda: So capturing the language isn't just about positive thinking or being the word police.
- 42:05Miranda: It's actually about having a pattern interrupt that then can have that ripple effect and cascade through the thoughts and the feelings and then the behaviors.
- 42:13Miranda: But it's, um, this underlying good and bad.
- 42:16Miranda: You know, you ask people, how was your day?
- 42:18Miranda: Not bad.
- 42:19Miranda: It was good, but these are all judgements and it's, it's about, okay, but is that really how it was?
- 42:26Miranda: What if you were just real and you dropped the stories around?
- 42:29Miranda: Good or bad, how are you today?
- 42:31Miranda: I'm really fucking tired.
- 42:33Miranda: I'm really fucking sad.
- 42:36Miranda: I'm really overwhelmed, or I don't know how I am, or I feel filled with gratitude, or I feel like I have a personal joke between me and the universe, and I feel like skipping today.
- 42:48Miranda: You know, it's that the power of language.
- 42:51Miranda: It's really an interesting one to, um,
- 42:55Tracy: yeah, I, I, I always pull people up when they say, oh.
- 42:58Tracy: So much going on in my life, I just need a break.
- 43:00Tracy: And I'm like, oh, just careful for what you ask for because I know some people that have said that and broken their
- 43:05Miranda: mm-hmm.
- 43:06Tracy: Wrists or they've broken their leg or, um, you've gotta
- 43:09Miranda: be so careful.
- 43:11Miranda: There.
- 43:11Miranda: There was a case of a, an air hostess who was wishing I just want to be paid lots of money to sit on the couch.
- 43:16Miranda: It was a joke that they would always make.
- 43:18Miranda: And then they had a nasty fall and had to work off, uh, insurance money and literally on the couch earning lots of money.
- 43:25Miranda: But the body was.
- 43:26Miranda: Not in a great place.
- 43:27Miranda: So yeah, it's really important to focus and talk about what you do want, not what you don't want.
- 43:32Miranda: And use language intentionally.
- 43:36Tracy: Yeah.
- 43:37Tracy: Can you share like.
- 43:39Tracy: Are there practices that you have, um, through your soul coaching or like you shared that, you know, like you have these downloads and, um, many of us have our different things, but what would you do, um, 'cause I know you're incredibly intuitive.
- 43:55Tracy: What, what do you do to sort of keep working that, that muscle, I suppose you would call it, or.
- 44:03Tracy: Your connection.
- 44:04Tracy: Your connection
- 44:05Miranda: got a bit of an unfair head start being a Pi C, and I'm kind of, if you're into star signs where a particularly intuitive, intuitive sign, so I even on a unconscious say I am still very connected to my intuition.
- 44:19Miranda: It's not something that I need to really work at activating.
- 44:25Miranda: It's quite online.
- 44:27Miranda: A lot of the time, but I know when I'm in, I just call it alignment where the intuition's always online, but there might just be, I dunno, I'm grabbing this thing that I cleaned my glasses with.
- 44:39Miranda: There might just be something over it where it's still online, but it's like there's a lamp and there's just a bit of a scarf on top of the lamp.
- 44:46Miranda: And so I notice the things that take it off where it's like are, if I, my thing is waking up at 5:00 AM and watching the sunrise.
- 44:56Miranda: And starting the day with the day, that is just such a simple, big thing.
- 45:02Miranda: And even through this pregnancy, I've.
- 45:05Miranda: You know, not felt like exercising.
- 45:08Miranda: I've not really felt like journaling or doing my tarot cards or affirmations or any of the practices that I might normally do for peak performance.
- 45:17Miranda: Yeah.
- 45:18Miranda: But even just waking up with the sunrise and.
- 45:20Miranda: Having a coffee, whether it's curled up on my couch or strolling down where I'm lucky enough to live near the beach and can watch the sunrise over the beach, or it's just that act of waking up intentionally with the sun for me really brings a sense of alignment.
- 45:35Miranda: That's just a really simple thing.
- 45:37Miranda: And then.
- 45:38Miranda: The more aligned I'm feeling, the more I load up that morning time.
- 45:41Miranda: Mm-hmm.
- 45:42Miranda: With things I mentioned like journaling, like tarot cards, listening to podcasts, just following my intuition around, I just ask myself what would be really delicious and self-loving right now?
- 45:52Miranda: And I let myself do that from five till whenever my day starts.
- 45:57Miranda: Um, that would be, that would be a big one.
- 46:01Miranda: But I also, or, and I also feel that.
- 46:07Miranda: When sometimes we wait to be in alignment to do the thing, but sometimes doing the thing puts us in alignment.
- 46:15Tracy: Mm-hmm.
- 46:16Miranda: And sometimes it feels clunky and brave and we need to do it when we're ready to be ready rather than fully ready.
- 46:21Miranda: And whether that's, you know, in my case, even this workshop that we're running, I've been.
- 46:27Miranda: I'd lost a little bit of momentum because I took the break to kind of work on myself, and this is one of my first events getting back out there.
- 46:33Miranda: And I was a little bit in my perfectionism patterns going, oh, okay, I am doing singing, but that's not really my niche.
- 46:38Miranda: Will that be confusing?
- 46:39Miranda: And I was all in my head, and will my clients know what I do?
- 46:42Miranda: Will they think I've become a singer?
- 46:43Miranda: And no.
- 46:43Miranda: And then I just stopped and I said, analysis paralysis does not get you into alignment.
- 46:49Miranda: Taking action does just do the thing.
- 46:52Miranda: You're either gonna.
- 46:54Miranda: Make magic or you're gonna learn something, are you gonna meet someone?
- 46:57Miranda: But you're feeling called to do this, so just do it.
- 46:59Miranda: It's amazing just by doing.
- 47:01Miranda: That's just one example.
- 47:03Miranda: And doing the thing could be joining the gym, asking the person out, having the phone call, whatever the thing is, do it before you're ready just because you got a little inkling and.
- 47:13Miranda: It's amazing how then the alignment started flooding through and it felt like that light came off and suddenly I'm getting signs, synchronicities, angel numbers, right person, right time opportunities, and it all started sinking up.
- 47:27Miranda: But if I had have waited for that to do the thing, I probably wouldn't have done the thing.
- 47:31Miranda: So it's about cultivating a little ritual that works for you.
- 47:35Miranda: Mine's the morning one, but then it's about listening when the little inklings are a whisper.
- 47:40Miranda: Sometimes by being brave enough to do it before you're ready, it kind of opens a channel.
- 47:44Tracy: Yeah.
- 47:45Miranda: Mm. That's what works for me.
- 47:47Tracy: That's beautiful.
- 47:48Miranda: Mm. That's
- 47:49Tracy: yeah.
- 47:49Tracy: Really beautiful.
- 47:50Tracy: So what's gonna happen to your clients?
- 47:52Tracy: Is soulmates gonna be, um, soulmate coaches going to be having a bit of a hiatus for a little while?
- 47:59Tracy: Or, or,
- 48:00Miranda: I have a bit of a.
- 48:00Miranda: Intuitive feeling that I'm entering my CREs mode more than ever.
- 48:07Miranda: So mm-hmm.
- 48:08Miranda: I'll be pouring all my love and energy into this beautiful little baby boy.
- 48:13Miranda: But, um, yeah, I'll, I'll be available for the right projects and people alongside that in a way that will work in flow.
- 48:20Miranda: So I'm excited to get over to the universe and trusting, but I. In the past, I've worked with a lot of one-on-one coaching clients.
- 48:28Miranda: Mm-hmm.
- 48:28Miranda: So I'm moving back into a place that I was in a few years back, which is a lot more workshops because it just time-wise allows me to work one to many.
- 48:37Miranda: It's just a lot more doable.
- 48:39Miranda: So I can pour all my beautiful energy outside of that into my little one, and then be doing what I love.
- 48:46Miranda: Within my purpose, but in a way that it just makes more sense.
- 48:50Miranda: And I, I love the group stuff.
- 48:51Miranda: There's certain stuff that can only happen one-on-one, and there's certain stuff that can only happen in a group.
- 48:56Miranda: And I've done both for many, many years.
- 48:59Miranda: But I really do love, love the group stuff.
- 49:01Miranda: I feel like the field becomes very juicy in a group environment, and I just love that.
- 49:07Miranda: That energy that can be created in a group, and I feel like it can sometimes get us out of our head more successfully in that group, going off that group consciousness and energy.
- 49:18Miranda: Sometimes that can put us in our head even more for certain people, and I get that.
- 49:21Miranda: But um, yeah.
- 49:23Tracy: Well, you can see someone who's, who's maybe stepping out and doing something that you are anticipating or you are on the edge of, and it's like
- 49:31Miranda: mm-hmm.
- 49:32Tracy: They can do that.
- 49:32Tracy: If they can open their mouth and, and, and let sound come out, then, then I can, you know.
- 49:39Tracy: That's great.
- 49:40Miranda: You bring up a really good point.
- 49:41Miranda: You articulated it better than I do of the, one of the key differences in group work, because it's not just you working with the coach and there happens to be other people in the room or the facilitator, it's actually that every person in that room, you become each other's teacher.
- 49:55Miranda: So instead of it being two people in the field that are learning from each other in the field, you've got X amount, whether it's 10 or a hundred, and.
- 50:03Miranda: Those people become metaphors of your inner parts, your family members.
- 50:07Miranda: It becomes a constellation even if you're not doing constellation.
- 50:09Miranda: Oh,
- 50:10Tracy: absolutely.
- 50:12Miranda: So you've always got a hundred times the learnings.
- 50:14Tracy: Yeah.
- 50:15Miranda: Yeah.
- 50:16Tracy: And, and having, having it through that lens too.
- 50:19Tracy: You know, like if you've got that lens going, I'm just filtering that through the background.
- 50:23Tracy: I see that happening there and,
- 50:24Miranda: mm-hmm.
- 50:25Tracy: Okay.
- 50:25Tracy: Just, I think for me as a facilitator, it certainly helps on a deeper understanding and, um, not needing to fix just an understanding and Okay.
- 50:34Tracy: That's.
- 50:35Tracy: Yeah, this is happening.
- 50:37Miranda: Absolutely.
- 50:38Tracy: Amazing.
- 50:39Tracy: Well, I think, I know that you've got some things coming up later this afternoon and um, and we could spend hours chatting here, but I'm gonna, um, invite you to just a place in here, maybe a any contact details that you need to share.
- 50:56Tracy: So if anyone, 'cause sometimes people are audible and they'd like to hear it.
- 51:00Tracy: Um, yeah, we'll go from there.
- 51:03Miranda: Awesome.
- 51:03Miranda: The, um, event that we have coming up is on human, so I've got a little flyer and a human link for that.
- 51:09Miranda: Should I
- 51:10Tracy: put That's great.
- 51:10Tracy: Yeah, I'll share that.
- 51:12Tracy: And so if someone wanted to reach out to you for, for any other reason, maybe they're looking for their soulmate, whatever.
- 51:18Tracy: Are you the soulmate coach.com, Sydney Guru, whatever.
- 51:23Tracy: How does it work?
- 51:24Miranda: I'm actually, um, the best place to find me would be on Instagram, so I'll put that link down as well, and I'm really responsive on there.
- 51:31Miranda: So send me a message on there and we can have a little chat and see how I can help you for madly in love with yourself first, and.
