- 0:32Speaker 1: It would be very white loads. Oh yeah, we are finished.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Are you ready for this? Finished packing?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Well, you should have a like dun dun dun dun
- 0:42Speaker 2: sound effects for yourself. At least's pretty amazing.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Again, we are done packing.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Weights out and done packing.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We've never been that early before. Normally it's eleven o'clock
- 0:55Speaker 1: the night before we leave and we're still putting stuff.
- 0:57Speaker 2: In, still panicking.
- 0:58Speaker 1: But my wife, Coco, I came home today and she
- 1:00Speaker 1: was on a mission, and I just said, whatever you need,
- 1:03Speaker 1: I got you.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Oh you're so good.
- 1:04Speaker 1: And she's like, okay, give me an outfit you're wearing
- 1:06Speaker 1: on the plane, and then for this flight and then
- 1:08Speaker 1: that flight. Because we're moving around a few times. We're
- 1:10Speaker 1: doing Thailand, we're doing Singapore, We're doing the whole thing.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 1:13Speaker 1: But there are a couple of hotels where we have laundry.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Oh good, Okay, So I didn't have to pack like
- 1:18Speaker 1: fifteen pairs of underwear.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I just packed like six because I can watch some.
- 1:23Speaker 1: But long story short, my wife did eighty percent of it, well,
- 1:26Speaker 1: maybe ninety percent of it. I did ten percent of it.
- 1:28Speaker 1: We're completely done. The bags are zipped and they're gonna
- 1:30Speaker 1: sit there.
- 1:30Speaker 3: For two weeks.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And the cool thing is so good if you kind
- 1:33Speaker 1: of fake of something like did I did I put
- 1:34Speaker 1: that in there?
- 1:35Speaker 3: You have plenty of times.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Oh yes, yeah, not have to trust mind, take stuff out,
- 1:40Speaker 2: put stuff in correct. Very nice.
- 1:42Speaker 1: So the kids are packed, we're packed, and we're ready
- 1:45Speaker 1: to go. In fact, i'm gonna leave right now. I'll
- 1:46Speaker 1: talk to you later, So.
- 1:49Speaker 2: You myraulas thank you.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I'm not feeling good. I'm gonna miss you.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Though, yeah, we're gonna miss you too, but you're already.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Looking forward to October. I understand.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Oh yes, Oh, I was like, why oh, because I
- 2:01Speaker 2: got my Pumpkin Blaze tickets.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Congratulation, thank you. This is a tradition that you go
- 2:07Speaker 1: for a long time.
- 2:07Speaker 2: We love it. So his store, Cuts and Valley is
- 2:10Speaker 2: what puts together the Great Pumpkin Blaze every year, and
- 2:14Speaker 2: we love to go. And I always get the tickets
- 2:16Speaker 2: like a little too late, so we'll end up at
- 2:18Speaker 2: ten o'clock, which is the last showing, and I'm tired,
- 2:21Speaker 2: but we still go. So this year is like, I'm
- 2:24Speaker 2: going in. I'm going for the pre sale. I had
- 2:26Speaker 2: the app which sent me a notification like now you
- 2:30Speaker 2: can buy your tickets now. So I went in there
- 2:33Speaker 2: yesterday and I got ideal tickets for us. We're doing
- 2:36Speaker 2: some experience with the Headless Horsemen. I got like the
- 2:39Speaker 2: whole nine.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I remember the pictures you showed me last year.
- 2:41Speaker 3: We're so cool. You're walking through these.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Mazes and oh yeah, it's beautiful pumpkins everywhere.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah it's gorgeous. Yeah it's it's a really beautiful experience
- 2:50Speaker 2: and it's good for the whole family already, I know it,
- 2:54Speaker 2: so we both planned ahead here, yes.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah, And before we go to break, I want to
- 2:58Speaker 1: mention the days. So we have National Chicken Wing Day,
- 3:02Speaker 1: a good day for some wings. In fact, we have
- 3:04Speaker 1: a whole bunch of deals. We'll get to you later
- 3:05Speaker 1: on the show. It's National Losagna Day, shout out to Garfield.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It's International Tiger.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Day, oh save the Tigers.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Yes.
- 3:13Speaker 3: And it's National Lipstick Day.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Oh yes, this is a wait, hang on, this is
- 3:18Speaker 2: a biggie because there's discounts all over the place cubby
- 3:21Speaker 2: like forty to fifty percent off. And at Mac's stores
- 3:25Speaker 2: on this day every year, at Max's stores, there's some
- 3:27Speaker 2: free lipstick, but you have to be like one of
- 3:30Speaker 2: the first people in line. And it's the free standing stores,
- 3:33Speaker 2: not like Mac in one of the department stores.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I see. So it sounds like I should be more
- 3:39Speaker 3: excited about Chicken wing.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Day thought and talking to you about lipstick Day, and
- 3:44Speaker 2: you're kind of going, uh huh I can.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You saw me zoning out?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm losing you.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Okay, So we'll do some chicken wing deals, we'll talk
- 3:52Speaker 1: more about lipstick Day, and we'll give away Hillary Dove
- 3:54Speaker 1: tickets at seven to twenty five and Brian Adams tickets
- 3:57Speaker 1: at eight ten.
- 3:58Speaker 3: It's all here on Light FM.
- 4:00Speaker 5: More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
- 4:03Speaker 5: expect next on light at them.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Okay, I need to tell you two things. Coffy and
- 4:09Speaker 1: Christine's two pretty cool things.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Call Christine on this National Chicken Wing Day.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It all began on this date, July twenty ninth, nineteen
- 4:18Speaker 1: seventy seven. The mayor of Buffalo, New York at the time,
- 4:22Speaker 1: his name was Stan Mkowski. He said, you know what,
- 4:25Speaker 1: we created the whole wing thing. Yeah, we created the
- 4:28Speaker 1: buffalo wing, the chicken wing. We want to day. I
- 4:32Speaker 1: give this proclamation declaring today National Chicken Wing Day.
- 4:36Speaker 3: And here we are.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It's Buffalo chicken Wings. I had no idea buffal Is
- 4:40Speaker 2: it Buffalo wild wings?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Well yeah, so what they're doing is it's National Chicken
- 4:44Speaker 1: Wing Day. But now it's all encompassing buffalo wings, anything, wings,
- 4:48Speaker 1: Paul McCartney wings, it's all.
- 4:51Speaker 3: About wings today.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And we have a bunch of deals we'll get to
- 4:54Speaker 1: and we'll do that in about ten minutes right here
- 4:56Speaker 1: on light a f M.
- 4:57Speaker 3: What is your cool thing, my dear.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Since you said it's all about wings. Do you remember
- 5:00Speaker 2: Floco the owl a piece? I know I feel the
- 5:04Speaker 2: same way, Koby. But there's a documentary about him that
- 5:07Speaker 2: celebrates him and his journey because he escaped from the
- 5:12Speaker 2: Central Park Zoo and then he lived in Central Park
- 5:15Speaker 2: and on the Upper West.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Side and he was hanging in there for a bit,
- 5:18Speaker 1: learned how to.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Fend for himself and people were very, very taken with him.
- 5:21Speaker 2: So there's a documentary about Floco and that is going
- 5:25Speaker 2: to premiere tonight in Central Park. You could see it
- 5:28Speaker 2: for free at the Great Hill at seven thirty. Lawn
- 5:32Speaker 2: opens at seven thirty. Film is set to begin at
- 5:34Speaker 2: eight thirty. RSVP is encouraged but not required. So again,
- 5:39Speaker 2: if you would like to see the story of Floco
- 5:42Speaker 2: wild inside, that is free tonight in Central Park.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I just might Christine Okay and Bruno Mars, I just might.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Next on LIGHTFM.
- 5:50Speaker 5: More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
- 5:52Speaker 5: expect next on light FM.
- 5:54Speaker 1: All right, So we got some deals going on today.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It's Covey, Christine, producer Christian. We are Light FM. It's
- 5:59Speaker 1: National Chicken Wing Day. We got a lot of deals
- 6:02Speaker 1: there but it's also National Ellipstick Day. So before I
- 6:05Speaker 1: do the chicken wing deals with you, Christine, the lipstick
- 6:08Speaker 1: one requires something like pretty much now.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you have to plan for it right
- 6:13Speaker 2: now because Mac does this every year. They offer some
- 6:16Speaker 2: free lipsticks for like the first people who get to
- 6:20Speaker 2: a freestanding Mac store on National Lipstick Day, which is today,
- 6:24Speaker 2: and then if you don't, if you're not there and
- 6:25Speaker 2: you don't get one of the freebies, there's up to
- 6:27Speaker 2: forty to fifty percent off, and Sapphora, all the department stores,
- 6:32Speaker 2: they're all kind of doing that with lipsticks today. But
- 6:34Speaker 2: if you want the freebie from Mac, yeah, plan it.
- 6:38Speaker 3: How much is lipstick roughly?
- 6:41Speaker 2: I don't know this, like twenty six, twenty six. I
- 6:45Speaker 2: mean it's all over the place. It's there's drug store
- 6:48Speaker 2: to forty dollars lipsticks and up from there.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Could you go up over fifty dollars?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah? Really over one hundred that I haven't seen. I'm
- 6:58Speaker 2: sure it exists.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It's like a wine. I'll take the lipstick from.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I just go through it so fast. I hate to
- 7:06Speaker 2: spend that much on it.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I heard a quote about lipstick recently.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I don't know if Marilyn Monroe officially said it, but
- 7:12Speaker 1: the quote was a boy should ruin your lipstick, not
- 7:17Speaker 1: your mascara.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Oh, yes, you told me, right, I don't know that
- 7:20Speaker 2: she really it's attributed to her.
- 7:22Speaker 1: You're saying you told me she was so popular.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot of sayings that we've said, she said.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And right, Felix, would you like that quote?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:34Speaker 1: Yeah, because you know, to me Wild it kind of
- 7:36Speaker 1: fished out what it makes you but don't make you cry. Yes,
- 7:38Speaker 1: your mass scare up that lipstick. Yeah, all right, now
- 7:41Speaker 1: to chicken Wing.

- 9:27Speaker 3: Light offm.
- 9:28Speaker 5: More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
- 9:30Speaker 5: expect next on light at.
- 9:32Speaker 1: That you'll be living on a prayer on this roller coaster.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Oh hell, No.
- 9:35Speaker 1: One of twenty seven Covey and Christine in the morning.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It unveiled yesterday, So producer Kristen sent us this video yesterday, right,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and we all reacted on text like, oh my gosh,
- 9:47Speaker 1: we were.
- 9:48Speaker 2: All and Kristen loves roller coasters and is saying she's
- 9:53Speaker 2: not even up for this one, but a lot of
- 9:55Speaker 2: people will be. I think this is going to be
- 9:56Speaker 2: a huge hit.
- 9:57Speaker 1: We're talking about the one at six Flags, great adventure
- 10:00Speaker 1: just opening next year, of course, six Flags in Jackson Township,
- 10:04Speaker 1: New Jersey. But here we go.
- 10:05Speaker 3: The name of it is, and we've practiced, let's see
- 10:08Speaker 3: if we can get it.
- 10:08Speaker 6: Christine Baku nawa bak u nahwa or back no baku nahwa,
- 10:13Speaker 6: baku waha baku. Well, I like wah wah coffee baku nahwa,
- 10:19Speaker 6: baku wah wah bacu nawah.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I don't know why I can't say it. After you
- 10:22Speaker 1: say it, just walka.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Walk a flock.
- 10:25Speaker 2: The Purple Project is what they were calling it because
- 10:28Speaker 2: people were seeing, right, this purple roller coaster going up
- 10:30Speaker 2: to the skies. It will be the world's tallest and
- 10:33Speaker 2: fastest spinning launch coaster.
- 10:36Speaker 1: So it spins in it like is a coaster?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're in like the seat you're in is spinning, spinning.
- 10:43Speaker 2: The roller coaster is upside down, yes, but you're upside
- 10:48Speaker 2: down like more than any other roller coaster.
- 10:50Speaker 1: You could be upside down and spinning.
- 10:53Speaker 4: No.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Three hundred and eighty two feet high, it reaches a
- 10:58Speaker 1: top speed of one hundred miles an hour. The ride
- 11:01Speaker 1: duration is two minutes and seventeen seconds. Height requirement forty
- 11:06Speaker 1: eight inches.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Oh I'm too short.
- 11:08Speaker 1: My kids are out. I'm telling you. I love roller coasters.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And when Kristen sent this video and I saw it,
- 11:14Speaker 1: I couldn't believe it. I thought it was a joke.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm like, really, it's gonna it's gonna be huge.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yes, I mean also floorless cars that flip writers upside
- 11:23Speaker 2: down for a stretch. I wouldn't make it. I wouldn't
- 11:26Speaker 2: make it. Cubby.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Oh no, I mean, are you a roller coaster fan
- 11:29Speaker 1: at all?
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm not, so I shouldn't be weighing in on this
- 11:31Speaker 2: at all.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I can't even do a small one.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I saw like three seconds of the video and I said, no.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Anyway, look for that next year and it's the former
- 11:40Speaker 1: King Daka footprint where it's going up people.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Yeah, Baku Nawa.
- 11:45Speaker 2: The purple projects. Yes, it's easier to say projects.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I think in the theme parks though.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Well, yeah, there's a little issue.
- 11:52Speaker 6: Uh.
- 11:52Speaker 2: This is in La in Teluka. Their neighborhood over there
- 11:57Speaker 2: is having a problem because Universal Studio has a ride.
- 12:01Speaker 2: It's called the Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift, and apparently
- 12:05Speaker 2: the park did really well. The roller coasters quiet machinery
- 12:07Speaker 2: doesn't make a lot of noise. They have installed sound
- 12:10Speaker 2: walls and gravel to maximize the quiet. But there's a problem.
- 12:14Speaker 2: People who were on right on the ride of Fast
- 12:18Speaker 2: and Furious are screaming so loudly that they are waking
- 12:23Speaker 2: up this quiet neighborhood in La to Luca Lake. They say,
- 12:28Speaker 2: people are screaming where like neighbors are concerned for their lives,
- 12:32Speaker 2: like it's so disturbing. They feel like somebody's being murdered
- 12:35Speaker 2: out there. Yeah, so Universal Studios says they understand there's
- 12:40Speaker 2: noise complaints and they don't quite know how to fix
- 12:43Speaker 2: it just yet.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Right, So you can't give the people that live there
- 12:45Speaker 1: a hard time because some people say, like, well, you
- 12:48Speaker 1: knew the airport was there when you moved there.
- 12:50Speaker 2: This was a ride that kind of is fairly yes,
- 12:53Speaker 2: and they took precautions, but what they didn't anticipate was
- 12:56Speaker 2: how much people would be screaming for their lives.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Wow, all right, what's coming up in the news, Christine, Oh, Covey.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Let's check out the headlines and how much you need
- 13:06Speaker 2: to earn in order to attract a partner.
- 13:09Speaker 5: More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
- 13:12Speaker 5: expect next onlight at them.
- 13:14Speaker 3: It is seven o'clock on this hump day. Christine has
- 13:17Speaker 3: everything you need to know.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Good morning Christine, and good morning Covey. And yes, we're
- 13:20Speaker 2: still dealing with the aftermath of flooding yesterday, especially northern
- 13:23Speaker 2: New Jersey. We were hit really, really hard. A sanctions
- 13:27Speaker 2: bill sponsored for the late Senator by the late Senator
- 13:30Speaker 2: Lindsay Gram has backing from both sides of the Aisle
- 13:33Speaker 2: The bill would double the amount of tariffs on countries
- 13:35Speaker 2: that continue buying Russian oil and gas. A funeral will
- 13:40Speaker 2: be held today for Senator Lindsay gram in South Carolina,
- 13:43Speaker 2: following services in DC. And doctor Anthony Fauci is going
- 13:47Speaker 2: to be on Capitol Hill today appearing before the Senate.
- 13:50Speaker 2: He'll testify before a gop led Senate panel on the
- 13:54Speaker 2: COVID nineteen pandemic. Here in New York, the rents average
- 13:58Speaker 2: went up another five percent for the past year, three
- 14:01Speaker 2: seven hundred dollars a month. That's the average for something.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Small, five hundred square feet.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's in Manhattan and in Brooklyn especially. There was
- 14:10Speaker 2: one winner in the Megan Million's eight hundred jack eight
- 14:13Speaker 2: hundred million dollar jackpot last night, and that person's in Florida.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And that person or people, if it's their whole crew,
- 14:19Speaker 1: they don't care about their rent anymore.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't have to worry at all. There's also
- 14:23Speaker 2: a few people who had five out of six numbers
- 14:26Speaker 2: in New York and New Jersey and that could be
- 14:27Speaker 2: worth up to two million. And tonight's Power Bowl is
- 14:31Speaker 2: six hundred and sixty three million, So there goot another chance.
- 14:35Speaker 2: In sports, Yankees beat the White Sox three to the Mets,
- 14:37Speaker 2: and the Braves postponed with rain, so they're doing a
- 14:40Speaker 2: day night doubleheader, two separate games today and finally, looking
- 14:45Speaker 2: for true love, I guess your bank account talks. Single
- 14:48Speaker 2: people are saying they don't want to settle down with
- 14:50Speaker 2: someone unless they earn at least one hundred and six
- 14:54Speaker 2: thousand dollars a year.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Okay, that's for settling down.
- 14:57Speaker 2: That's for yes, somebody.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Bring that up on the first or anything. Do you
- 15:01Speaker 3: go to the bank right for you?
- 15:02Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 15:03Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, do you show up with exactly
- 15:06Speaker 2: with some proof?
- 15:06Speaker 1: How much? Again?
- 15:07Speaker 2: One hundred and six thousand dollars? Like plus right, it's
- 15:11Speaker 2: one hundred and sixty five one hundred.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Twenty seven exactly pretty good when the power ball or
- 15:18Speaker 1: make a million and you're good and you're good to.
- 15:19Speaker 5: Find you whoever you love more Covey and Christine and
- 15:22Speaker 5: the great music variety you expect next on light at
- 15:25Speaker 5: them all Right.
- 15:26Speaker 1: It's not just about the single ladies, because I feel
- 15:28Speaker 1: like everyone can be a part of this list, right, yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 1: I scene.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but I love some of the answers here. So
- 15:33Speaker 2: single women were asked in a survey, what like, what
- 15:36Speaker 2: are some of the habits that you do when you're
- 15:38Speaker 2: alone that you wouldn't do in front of your partner.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Can we talk about it on the radio?
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we can talk about all of it because a
- 15:45Speaker 2: lot of it is funny and to me relatable. I
- 15:48Speaker 2: like one young lady who said, I pretend I'm doing
- 15:52Speaker 2: a get Ready with Me video when I'm doing my makeup,
- 15:55Speaker 2: like one of the influencers, because they go through my
- 15:57Speaker 2: head a lot when I'm getting ready.
- 16:00Speaker 1: He's not really recording, they're just pretending like this kind
- 16:02Speaker 1: of pretending.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, there's this, By the way, there's this trend of
- 16:06Speaker 2: I'm gonna take in everything shower. I had to explain
- 16:08Speaker 2: to Eric when in everything shower.
- 16:10Speaker 3: You have to explain it to me. It's everything we're doing.
- 16:16Speaker 2: We're doing it.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Ye, okay, we're different soaps, different sponges.
- 16:20Speaker 2: You're gonna shave, We're gonna, you know, wash our hair,
- 16:23Speaker 2: We're going to condition everything, shower.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Everything shower like only a couple of times a week.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Because she don't do.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Your hair every shower, do you?
- 16:33Speaker 2: Some some women do. I do my hair every shower,
- 16:35Speaker 2: not everybody. Yeah, it's yeah, like Kristin producer Kristen not
- 16:40Speaker 2: every shower because she's got great hair, she doesn't have to.
- 16:44Speaker 2: But anyway, that that's everything. There you go, okay, talk
- 16:47Speaker 2: about your everything shower. Sam said, I sing everything I'm
- 16:52Speaker 2: doing out loud, which I may do. You keep yourself entertained.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Another girl said, like, I make up funny conversations or
- 17:02Speaker 2: dramatic commentary with my everyday stuff like cooking or getting ready.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I think we're keeping ourselves entertained is basically the theme
- 17:09Speaker 2: and talking to ourselves. A lot of us talk to
- 17:11Speaker 2: ourselves out loud. I talk to my cat Archie like
- 17:14Speaker 2: he can full on understand.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Well he does, though he does, he really does understand.
- 17:18Speaker 1: He does.
- 17:19Speaker 2: And I always say we like Archie, let's go take
- 17:21Speaker 2: a shower. We're taking a shower, but he legit stands
- 17:25Speaker 2: outside the shower and waits for me because I have
- 17:27Speaker 2: the glass and it's like a human. He kind of
- 17:29Speaker 2: hangs out with me.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Does Archie ever do in everything shower? Your cat Archie?
- 17:33Speaker 2: Yeah, he did everything shower last night. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 2: it was time for his everything shower. So things that
- 17:38Speaker 2: you do that may feel a little crazy, that you
- 17:41Speaker 2: do when you're alone, but they're not really so crazy.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Let's go on it out there, give us a text
- 17:45Speaker 3: right now. And what Christine just asked?
- 17:48Speaker 1: You do it alone? Yeah, you mumble to yourself, you know,
- 17:52Speaker 1: like if you're in public, you be looked at me.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Sometimes I slip though. I think I talk to myself
- 17:57Speaker 2: out loud so much that now I go to the
- 17:59Speaker 2: supermarket and I talk out loud. I'm like, oh, no,
- 18:01Speaker 2: I'm in public. No staring at That was my out
- 18:03Speaker 2: loud voice.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Like are you staring at? Like jars going?
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean what I don't know. There's too many choices.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Yeah, this is me when I'm alone. I sing the
- 18:15Speaker 3: Puerto Rico song. This was viral like a month ago.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Remember this Here we go? That's right, yesc was enchanted.
- 18:35Speaker 1: The whole plane clapped when we landed.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Was this an ai unfortunately?
- 18:40Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 18:41Speaker 1: It was all over kiktok.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, anyway, it was. I do sing that song.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Your loud the head is very entertaining. What's going on
- 18:48Speaker 2: in there?
- 18:49Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:49Speaker 1: Did I cut you off? By the way, Did you
- 18:50Speaker 1: have one more thought?
- 18:51Speaker 3: I feel like you were gonna say one.
- 18:52Speaker 2: More talking to myself again?
- 18:54Speaker 1: All right, thinking about that, every day shower or everything shower?
- 18:57Speaker 1: All right?
- 18:58Speaker 3: Four four three six three?
- 18:59Speaker 1: Will you give us a tag and let us know
- 19:00Speaker 1: you're alive, because I feel like no one's listening.
- 19:03Speaker 5: More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
- 19:06Speaker 5: expect next on light at them?

- 25:03Speaker 1: All because of my wife though, I mean she she
- 25:06Speaker 1: like ran a tight ship yesterday. She's like, we got

- 25:11Speaker 2: That's so great.
- 25:12Speaker 1: She did ninety nine point eight percent of the packing.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Okay, I just contributed to the underwear.

- 25:58Speaker 2: Also a lot of travel alone out of walking, you know,
- 26:01Speaker 2: Long sweaty Days. You want to freshen up.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Long sweaty Days. That's our podcast. You want to do
- 26:06Speaker 1: a podcast called long Sweaty Day.
- 26:08Speaker 2: That would be hot. I think people would listen with
- 26:10Speaker 2: that as a title, for sure.
- 26:12Speaker 1: But do you overpack with underwear?
- 26:14Speaker 2: Yeah, of course, just in case you have.
- 26:15Speaker 1: A taco about it.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Us thought of it that way, but yeah, let us
- 26:21Speaker 2: could happen. But and then I also put like extra
- 26:24Speaker 2: in the carry on just in case my luggage is lost.

- 26:43Speaker 2: Good job, you sound ready. We are.
- 26:45Speaker 1: We are ready to go.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Do you want to hear what you need to do,
- 26:49Speaker 2: cubby to minimize your jet lag?
- 26:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:51Speaker 4: You told me you have tips and I haven't heard these,
- 26:53Speaker 4: so tell me all Yeah, well this is This is
- 26:55Speaker 4: from the travel experts who want to help you avoid
- 26:59Speaker 4: bubble guts, tummy troubles, and sleepiness and headaches.
- 27:02Speaker 2: They say, first of all, eating on the local schedule
- 27:05Speaker 2: at your destination. Before you leave, you're supposed to start
- 27:09Speaker 2: adjusting your eating times, your meal times.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Wait a minute, it's seven to ten pm and Thailand
- 27:14Speaker 1: right now.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Have your dinner right now, so have right Just have dinner,
- 27:18Speaker 2: bake and potatoes right. That's it.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Just go for it.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Stick to the destination's time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Try smaller meals when you get there. You want to
- 27:27Speaker 2: avoid some gi issues. Be mindful about greasy or high
- 27:30Speaker 2: fat foods. No watch what you drink. You might want
- 27:33Speaker 2: to skip the pine of beer glass of wine because
- 27:36Speaker 2: alcohol can be a huge sleep disruptor. Use caffeine strategically.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Find to have a cup of coffee your tea if
- 27:43Speaker 2: you normally do that in the morning, but avoid caffeine
- 27:45Speaker 2: later in the day. It'll keep you up and you
- 27:48Speaker 2: need to stay hydrated. Both alcohol and caffeine can make
- 27:51Speaker 2: you more dehydrated and make you tired. You're been in
- 27:55Speaker 2: cabin air, which can dehydrate you, so plenty of water before, during,
- 27:59Speaker 2: and after the trip.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I'm actually I'm taking notes like I'm in a class
- 28:02Speaker 3: right now.
- 28:02Speaker 2: When the vacation starts to wind down, the advice for
- 28:05Speaker 2: eating and sleeping is pretty much the same. Ease back
- 28:07Speaker 2: into your usual schedule and fully return to it at home.
- 28:11Speaker 1: See, we usually just rip the band aid off, like,
- 28:13Speaker 1: just dive right in. Don't do the casual ease in. Yeah,
- 28:18Speaker 1: but those are good tips, for sure, they could help.
- 28:21Speaker 2: But I'm with you. Sometimes you just have to lay
- 28:23Speaker 2: down when you get there. There just have to take
- 28:25Speaker 2: a nap.
