  And it must have been a Sunday

  And I said, Oh, yeah, well, I have to watch Sister Wives

  later. And I was like, I know I watched

  Sister Wives. And he was like, so do I like

  what? You watch Sister Wives?

  And it's always crazy when you

  listener out in the wild in the real world.

  And we kind of bonded over, you know, of course, talking shit
• 0:42
  about Robyn. And at the time, I think they
• 0:45
  were maybe trying to sell their house or they had just bought
• 0:49
  their house or something. Robyn and Kody, that is.

  And we were talking about how,

  is and all these things and, you

  shit. Of course, obviously after I

  started the show, I had to tell him about it.

  And he will randomly text me things oftentimes, maybe things
• 1:08
  that are funny or random, whatnot.

  I know one time he texted me something about Kimber's accents

  for Robyn. And I love when we get comments
• 1:16
  about Kimber's Robyn accents and
• 1:19
  Australian? Is she from the wild Wild West?

  Does she have turtle? Like what is going on here?

  And I always love that because I
• 1:30
  accent person. So whenever anybody points that
• 1:32
  out, I get a chuckle. But this week Cody texted me,

  OK, I've got to pull it up here.

  Cody, please don't hate me. I'm going to, I'm going to
• 1:40
  violate your privacy. Out of the blue on Tuesday, Cody
• 1:47
  And I'm like Oh my gosh, what is going on?

  And then a little later he says from the pod, lol Logan's
• 1:55
  tuition. And I was like Oh my gosh, yeah.
• 1:59
  doing. I was occupied or something.
• 2:01
  And so then I texted him back something like, you know, did I
• 2:03
  do the math wrong? The whole segment on the show
• 2:06
  was a disaster. We had to make up a conclusion
• 2:09
  because they were discussing budgets as only the Browns
• 2:11
  could. And then I thought about it and
• 2:14
  I'm like, oh, he's saying 6500 *
• 2:18
  obviously. And I'm like, oh, I did the math
• 2:22
  And it's during a segment where they're talking about doing
• 2:25
  math. How terrible.
• 2:26
  And he said, yes, the irony is rich.
• 2:29
  Rich, which in and of itself we're talking about.

  And he's saying the irony is rich.

  There's so many lol moments here in my head.
• 2:36
  So on the relisten. And when I went back and

  listened, I'm going, this is insane.

  Literally in the segment, we're talking about the tuition for
• 2:46
  Leon going to Westminster and how Meri's trying to figure out
• 2:49
  the math and Janelle's volunteering some things about
• 2:56
  about it, there's discrepancies. So Kimber and I are trying to
• 2:58
  figure out the math with the little details that they gave
• 3:01
  us. And of course, it's probably
• 3:02
  inaccurate because it's the Brown family.
• 3:04
  And even though Janelle's part of the discussion, it's still
• 3:09
  probably not completely clear. I don't know, just so silly.

  And so I'm listening back to it. And there's a point where I'm
• 3:19
  talking about how $6500 per semester times 2 and I say would
• 3:29
  would be $13,000. So in this segment where we are
• 3:34
  making fun of the Browns for being so bad at math, I make a
• 3:42
  that math is my strong suit, but basic math doesn't usually
• 3:50
  weeds either. I was thinking about the next
• 3:52
  thing or something. So I just say it and move on.

  Foot and mouth. You're making fun of the Browns
• 3:56
  for being bad at math and then you do math incorrectly.

  Also, as most of you know, I do an edit of the show.

  I don't cut a lot of things out and I'm not necessarily

  listening for every single detail.

  It's more of a, you know, when I clear my throat or when we tell

  a story that doesn't make any sense or whatever.

  It's for kind of like not the most detailed thing.

  So I didn't even notice it on my re listen.

  Kimber didn't say anything when I sent her the episode.

  So it's public. It's out in the world and I'm

  doing math incorrect. And I'm going, Oh, no, Oh my

  gosh. It's like, well, nobody's

  perfect. I also realized, hot off the
• 4:35
  heels of me doing math terribly, Kimber says something about how
• 4:40
  we're intelligent. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, do
• 4:44
  We do not need to be held to these standards that we simply
• 4:51
  just rich in ridiculousness. And I wanted to point out that

  embarrassed and I hope I never make any more.

  But I do want to say if I do make mistakes in the future,

  which seems very unlikely, please forgive me.

  I'm only human. Insane.

  In other Sister Wives news this week, the trailer for season 21
• 5:22
  was released on Sunday. A short trailer and then a full
• 5:26
  length trailer was released by TLC on Monday.

  So the short trailer comes out on Sunday and in the trailer
• 5:33
  they talk about how Robyn and Kody are not going to be
• 5:36
  filming. And I believe it's Janelle says
• 5:38
  something along the lines of Kody and Robyn will no longer be
• 5:44
  conspiracy theorist and a nutjob, I'm going, well, read
• 5:46
  between the lines here, people. It's not that Kody and Robyn
• 5:48
  won't be on the season, it's that they won't be filming with
• 5:51
  the other wives. So, you know, they're doing word
• 5:55
  trying to get some attention and some salacious whatnotness for
• 6:03
  Cut to Monday and the full length trailer drops and towards
• 6:14
  referencing not filming and how they're still processing.
• 6:16
  I'm like, Oh my God, these people's therapy speak.
• 6:19
  It's just OK. So they're processing.
• 6:21
  They're processing like give me a break.

  Also, Christine kind of looked terrible in her first one-on-one
• 6:27
  with her? And she didn't look like that in
• 6:32
  distracted by it, but in the full length trailer towards the
• 6:35
  beginning are words on the screen that say Kody and Robyn
• 6:41
  So I thought, well, you know, that's pretty succinct and leads
• 6:50
  And it's basically been confirmed by some talking points
• 6:58
  events. And there are conspiracies

  floating around online. Now, this is not informed by
• 7:03
  anything specific. I don't have any insight or
• 7:06
  knowledge or anything, but my assumption is that there was a
• 7:13
  Discovery Warner, whoever decision makers are with
• 7:16
  budgets, have probably been waiting for an opportunity to
• 7:19
  kick Kody to the curb over the last few years.

  His attitude and his approach to things has become increasingly
• 7:34
  He and Robyn are not exactly that fascinating.

  I think it's pretty well known that Robyn doesn't enjoy

  filming. They don't want people in their
• 7:44
  house. And when I think about the fans
• 7:46
  and the feedback about them in general, like Kody and Robyn,
• 7:50
  there does seem to be a lot of hate and a lot of we're not into
• 7:56
  And I like making fun of them. For example, on our show, we
• 7:58
  make fun of Robyn and Kody, but particularly Robyn all the time.

  is a pretty sensitive person. She is a feeler.

  And while I think at the beginning she wasn't mad about
• 8:12
  the notoriety and money from the
• 8:17
  here's my moment to be an empath, which is a lie.

  I can imagine being beat down after so many years of people
• 8:26
  making fun of you and ridiculing
• 8:28
  And then in the last few years, the information coming about
• 8:31
  about how she has the reckless
• 8:34
  and all of the money that they
• 8:37
  theories online and things that are true and things that we've
• 8:40
  seen. I mean, there are so many
• 8:41
  podcasts and so many shows. We ourselves talk shit about
• 8:45
  Robyn endlessly on our show. So I can see why she wouldn't
• 8:51
  want to film, honestly. The main thing is, of course,
• 8:54
  people are wondering how are they going to survive?
• 8:57
  They just bought this expensive home.

  I think there's verified data online that they took out a
• 9:03
  $750,000 line of credit last year or something.

  So their ballpark as far as expenses just with their home
• 9:12
  and this line of credit is something like 20 to $30,000 a
• 9:16
  month. I don't know what Kody and Robyn

  are doing to afford that lifestyle.

  The assumption would be, of course, that they are on ATLC

  show. I suspect that Kody and Robyn

  have something in the works to

  least Kody does if Robyn doesn't

  And he also did press when doing, you know, that military

  show, whatever that show. What the title escapes me now,

  but Special forces, he was doing
• 9:42
  he wants to retire Robyn from TV.

  I think she was really unhappy doing it.

  I think he doesn't like the scrutiny that they both get,

  particularly her. They have adult children that

  live in the home. There's this almost Arrested
• 9:55
  Development with the kids. People are going, why do you

  have multiple 20 plus year old children that are in college or

  done with college living on your property?

  There's weird things happening there, and I would suspect that
• 10:08
  Kody's unhappy with that. Also, with the production
• 10:12
  changes with Tim Gibbons leaving Puddle Monkey and the different
• 10:15
  changes that have happened where Kody and Robyn get a less
• 10:19
  favorable edit, I'm pretty sure Kody is challenging to deal with

  He's probably very unhappy when the show doesn't show him in a
• 10:37
  my suspicion is that TLC discovery Warner was looking for
• 10:47
  anymore. And if they were doing contract
• 10:49
  negotiations and Kody had any real pushback, they were
• 10:51
  probably like, here's our opportunity.

  had some sort of requirements that they were saying, hey,

  we're not going to do that. And they likely were thinking,

  film in your house, if you're going to be insane, if you're

  not going to get anger management, if you're not going

  to do these things, then we're not going to have the liability

  of having you on the show. That's just my conspiracy theory

  week. The season hasn't even started.

  So we'll see what happens down

  the road. The reason I'm bringing this up

  is because there has been an increase in traffic for our

  shorts and reels and things like

  where we have shorts from previous episodes making fun of

  Kody, making fun of Robyn, etcetera.

  And those have had a spike this week in traffic because of the
• 12:23
  news with Sister wives coming out and people searching for

  things and being fed this content.

  And let me tell you, the comment

  have been comment trolling. Oh my gosh, I have been seeing

  things pop up where it's like,

  People are just nuts. Someone left a comment on one of

  our YouTube shorts stating who

  Are you kidding? You took the time to watch a

  Sister Wives short and then took
• 12:53
  saying who watches this shit, this slop, Excuse me, in 2026?

  Well, when I think of slop, I think of AI slop.

  And I guess that's just an indicator of where we are today.

  I don't really know of people referring to bad content as slop

  so much anymore because of the

  AI slop. And so I don't know if that's

  common. That's just where my mind goes,

  but just reminded me of all the comments and things that we see

  on our content where people are saying, oh, this is terrible.

  Oh, this is whatever. Well, of course everyone likes

  to complain online. I'm not going to fight against

  that. But it's like, don't you see the

  irony in what you're doing here?

  You're watching content about old content and then commenting

  on this newer content about old content, saying who would even

  you're commenting on it. You are engaging with it.

  It just blows my mind the lack of awareness and particularly

  the missing of irony in this situation.

  Much like me doing incorrect math during a segment where

  we're making fun of how the Browns can't do math.

  Irony overload here. Oh my gosh, the regularity of

  how often I see people missing that their comments are

  demonstrating the same thing they're complaining about or

  pointing out is just mind blowing.

  You know, this is so negative. This is terrible.

  OK, well, do you think your comment is uplifting and

  fulfilling and it's sharing light and love?

  It's just bizarre to me. So it's been a big week in the

  Kimber and I had a phone call last night and we were talking

  Because, you know, obviously our show is a rewatch is geared

  towards starting at the beginning and watching through
• 14:44
  So right now we are towards the end of Season 6 in our rewatch.

  So there's obviously a lot of
• 14:49
  things that have happened since back then to today.

  And the context that would need to be given for where they are
• 14:55
  now as a family or a former family, realistically is a lot

  to give someone. And it's things that I don't

  want to tee up because I'm watching the show with someone

  where I've seen it and they haven't.

  And that's part of the journey

  is, is Kimber seeing these things for the first time and

  digesting these things and coming to conclusions where I'm

  going? Well, I know a little bit of

  something here, but I don't really sure.

  And also, it's literally 15 seasons of content and changes

  and things happening that I don't want to, you know, give it

  away for her. And I also don't want to give it

  away for listeners who haven't

  journey with us as we are rewatching it.

  I'm rewatching it and Kimber's

  so I'm unsure about how we will address season 21, if at all,

  for ourselves. She suggested something where I

  could do maybe a mini recap or a

  or a little video on Patreon to talk about the episode.

  And I think that might be a viable option.
