0:42
Speaker 3: Elizabeth in nineteen ninety one, and he's now the second.
0:46

3:39
Speaker 1: lot of things That congress was heavily involved, in including
3:43
Speaker 1: him addressing a joint session Of.
3:45
Speaker 2: Congress And i'll.
3:45
Speaker 1: Say it, again Where democrats had said no kings and
3:49
Speaker 1: had no, kings rallies had no problem giving him a standing.
3:52
Speaker 2: OVATION i thought that was a little.
3:54
Speaker 3: Funny, well On, MONDAY i flew back TO dc early
3:58
Speaker 3: BECAUSE i was invited to go to a garden party
4:02
Speaker 3: at The British ambassador's. Residence and the garden party included
4:05
Speaker 3: The king And, queen and SO i, said all, right
4:07
Speaker 3: this will be fun to, go uh and AND i
4:10
Speaker 3: ended up inviting my Daughter. Caroline caroline is, eighteen she
4:13
Speaker 3: turned eighteen just a couple of weeks. Ago, Ben you Know, caroline,
4:18
Speaker 3: well there is almost no invitation at this stage in
4:22
Speaker 3: life that can can can can make that that that
4:26
Speaker 3: that my teenage daughter is particularly interested in going to
4:30
Speaker 3: accept this and And, Caroline i'm, like, hey do you
4:32
Speaker 3: want to come to a garden party with The king Of?
4:34
Speaker 3: England and she's like, Yeah and so So caroline came,
4:39

4:41
Speaker 4: Queen The queen was.
4:42
Speaker 3: DELIGHTFUL i Introduced caroline to The, queen they shook, hands
4:45
Speaker 3: they talked for a few, minutes and THEN i Introduced.
4:48
Speaker 4: Caroline to The.
4:48
Speaker 3: King and he was actually quite, charming and and and
4:52
Speaker 3: they had had a conversation that ended up being being
4:54
Speaker 3: captured captured online and and and going. Viral but but
4:59
Speaker 3: but he asked, her, uh if she was having exams right,
5:03
Speaker 3: now and she's got exams coming up in a.
5:04
Speaker 4: Week she said, yeah and and and and then he
5:06
Speaker 4: made a.
5:07
Speaker 3: Joke he, said, uh he, said, well if if you,
5:11
Speaker 3: fail you can blame, me WHICH i thought was really.
5:13
Speaker 1: Funny that's a good, out that's a very good all.
5:16
Speaker 1: RIGHT i gotta, say there's certain things you get to
5:19
Speaker 1: do in your. Career taking your daughter and meet the,
5:21
Speaker 1: king like you got to use that as a little
5:23
Speaker 1: political capital down the road when she thinks you're not cool.
5:26
Speaker 3: Again, look earning dad brownie points is not easy to.
5:30
Speaker 3: Do but but that was really, fun and and and
5:33
Speaker 3: AND i enjoyed the chance to have her meet the.
5:38
Speaker 2: King what a great plus one by the, Way.
5:40
Speaker 3: Yeah like it's it's very very very cool to bring
5:43
Speaker 3: your daughter and and then and you, know.
5:45
Speaker 2: How much trouble are you in, though and hold, on
5:47
Speaker 2: how much trouble are you in at home? There like?
5:48
Speaker 2: YOU i did not even get the, invite so she
5:51
Speaker 2: was all on board with.
5:52
Speaker 4: This heidi did get the.
5:55
Speaker 3: Invite heidi had to, work so So heidie actually said, no,
5:59
Speaker 3: Okay and Actually catherine got the invite to And, catherine it's.
6:03
Speaker 3: Interesting my eighteen year old thought it was really. Cool
6:06
Speaker 3: my fifteen year old was, like, No i'm kind of,
6:08
Speaker 3: busy that's all. Right and so So catherine said, No
6:10
Speaker 3: so so she didn't.
6:11
Speaker 2: Come that's.
6:11
Speaker 1: Amazing so it was a family affair and it turned
6:14
Speaker 1: into a daddy daughter.
6:15
Speaker 4: DATE i love it was a daddy daughter. Day it was.
6:18
Speaker 4: Awesome it was a lot of. Fun you.
6:22
Speaker 3: Know The king's coming was important and, consequential AND i
6:26
Speaker 3: actually Think President trump they had an arrival ceremony at
6:30
Speaker 3: The White house where The president greeted The king and
6:33
Speaker 3: The president laid out a little bit of why it
6:35
Speaker 3: was important for the king to be, here and how
6:37
Speaker 3: this is really one of the beginning moments of two
6:40
Speaker 3: point fifty or our celebration of our nation's two hundred
6:43
Speaker 3: and fiftieth. Anniversary give a listen To President trump explaining
6:46
Speaker 3: why this visit right now is consequential here in.
6:50
Speaker 5: The shadows of monuments To George Washington Thomas. Jefferson honoring
6:56
Speaker 5: The british king might seem and ironic beginning to our
7:01
Speaker 5: celebration of two hundred and fifty years Of american, independence
7:06
Speaker 5: but in fact no tribute could be more. Appropriate long
7:10
Speaker 5: Before americans had a nation or a, constitution we first
7:14
Speaker 5: had a, culture a, character and a. Creed before we
7:19
Speaker 5: ever proclaimed our. Independence americans carried within.
7:23
Speaker 2: Us the rarest of gifts moral.
7:26
Speaker 5: Courage and it came from a small but mighty kingdom
7:30
Speaker 5: from across the. Sea for nearly two centuries before The,
7:35
Speaker 5: revolution this land was settled and forged by men women
7:39
Speaker 5: who bore in their souls the blood and noble spirit
7:43
Speaker 5: of The. British here on a wild and untamed, continent
7:48
Speaker 5: they set loose the Ancient english love of liberty and
7:52
Speaker 5: The Great britain's distinctive sense of, glory, destiny and. Pride
7:56
Speaker 5: and that's what it, is, glory, destiny and. Pride The
8:01
Speaker 5: american patriots who pledged their lives to independence in seventeen
8:06
Speaker 5: seventy six were the heirs to this majestic. Inheritance their
8:11
Speaker 5: veins ran With Anglo saxon, courage their hearts beat with
8:16
Speaker 5: An english faith in standing firm for what is, right
8:20
Speaker 5: good and. True in recent, years we've often heard it
8:25
Speaker 5: said That america is merely an. Idea but the cause
8:30
Speaker 5: of freedom did not simply appear as an intellectual invention
8:36
Speaker 5: of seventeen seventy. Six The american founding was the culmination
8:42
Speaker 5: of hundreds of years of, thought, struggles, sweat, blood and
8:46
Speaker 5: sacrifice on both sides of The. Atlantic fate true a
8:51
Speaker 5: long arc from the meadow At runningmede to the streets
8:56
Speaker 5: Of philadelphia that ran through the lives of people. Born
9:00
Speaker 5: we've bread on The british code that no man should
9:03
Speaker 5: be denied either justice or. Right american patriots today can
9:10
Speaker 5: sing my country tis of the Sweet land of liberty
9:16
Speaker 5: only because our colonial ancestors first Saying God save The.
9:23
Speaker 1: King you, KNOW i got to say one of the
9:26
Speaker 1: things that was really interesting about watching The president and
9:28
Speaker 1: interacting with The king and The. Queen is that right?
9:32
Speaker 1: Now there have been, politically tensions have been pretty. HIGH
9:35
Speaker 1: i think everybody knows that With, england and there's been
9:39
Speaker 1: a lot of frustration. There Certainly i'm one of THOSE
9:43
Speaker 1: i think they should have stepped up in a different
9:44
Speaker 1: way with what we're doing With. Iran but The president
9:48
Speaker 1: also understood AND i thought it was incredibly just not just,
9:52
Speaker 1: classy but also what leaders do to, say, hey we
9:56
Speaker 1: don't always agree on, everything but we welcome. You we're
9:58
Speaker 1: going to roll out the record carpet and we're going
10:01
Speaker 1: to have grand conversations that hopefully will make things even
10:04
Speaker 1: better moving. Forward and just listening to him talk, THERE
10:08
Speaker 1: i think he did a phenomenal job with his.
10:10
Speaker 4: Speeches, yeah, LOOK i.
10:12
Speaker 3: AGREE i think The president's remarks were really well, written
10:15
Speaker 3: they were well, delivered they were. Important there is no
10:18
Speaker 3: doubt the special, relationship which is the term that has
10:21
Speaker 3: been used for a long long time to describe the
10:24
Speaker 3: relationship between The United states and The United, kingdom it's
10:27
Speaker 3: strained right. Now the UK's decision not to HELP us And,
10:32
Speaker 3: iran and in fact to BLOCK us from Using british military.
10:36
Speaker 3: Bases that has put real strain on that relationship and
10:40
Speaker 3: it's going to be real strained with. Consequences but at
10:43
Speaker 3: the end of the, day that's a decision From Keir,
10:45
Speaker 3: starmer The Prime. Minister that's Not King charles who made that.
10:50
Speaker 3: Decision AND i think The king was here to try
10:54
Speaker 3: to Remind americans and maybe remind The british as, well
11:00
Speaker 3: of the centuries and not just two hundred and fifty,
11:02
Speaker 3: years but centuries before, that of intertwined history and our
11:08
Speaker 3: rights and. Liberties we didn't just invent the concepts of
11:15
Speaker 3: individual liberty and government that are reflected The declaration Of
11:19
Speaker 3: independence two hundred and fifty years, ago that are reflected
11:22
Speaker 3: in The. Constitution many of those ideas originated In. England
11:28
Speaker 3: originated The Magna carta was, Critical The English bill Of
11:31
Speaker 3: rights was critical great thinkers Like John locke who laid
11:35
Speaker 3: out the reasoning behind the natural rights of, life, liberty
11:39
Speaker 3: and property that became the foundation for much of The american.
11:43
Speaker 3: Experience and in, Fact King charles when he was addressing Addressing,
11:50
Speaker 3: CONGRESS i think he did something very eloquent and elegant
11:55
Speaker 3: in that he talked About he, said, look there's tension
11:58
Speaker 3: right now between our two. Nations but he, said we've
12:01
Speaker 3: always had, tension and he said when we, started in
12:04
Speaker 3: fact two hundred and fifty years, ago we had tension
12:07
Speaker 3: that resulted in a. War but it was. Interesting, yeah
12:11
Speaker 3: he made a. Point he, said the principles that animated
12:15
Speaker 3: The American, revolution and in particular he singled out taxation without.
12:20
Speaker 3: Representation he, said those were principles that we had developed
12:25
Speaker 3: and that were integral to. Us now we, disagreed meaning
12:28
Speaker 3: we The british disagreed on whether they applied to the,
12:32
Speaker 3: colonies but literally the grounds upon which we declared independence
12:39
Speaker 3: were grounds that were integral to The british constitutional history
12:44
Speaker 3: and understanding of. Rights and in, fact when The Supreme
12:47
Speaker 3: court is interpreting The constitution and Our bill Of, rights
12:50
Speaker 3: and much of Our bill of rights mirrors at, times
12:52
Speaker 3: even word for word The English bill Of, rights often
12:57
Speaker 3: The Supreme court will look, to for, Example blackstone and
13:00
Speaker 3: looked To english common law for how these rights were
13:03
Speaker 3: understood hundreds of years Before america. Existed so that intertwined
13:10
Speaker 3: history is really. Important AND i do like The President
13:14
Speaker 3: trump's pointing out like this is a great way to
13:16
Speaker 3: celebrate two hundred and fifty years by reminding us of
13:19
Speaker 3: big things that. Matter i'm gonna say something else that surprised.
13:23
Speaker 3: Me King charles is, funny.
13:27
Speaker 1: AND i was gonna say His either he's funny or
13:30
Speaker 1: his speech writers are. Unbelievable it may be a combination of.
13:35
Speaker 1: Both BUT i also, think like, man after seeing, HIM
13:39
Speaker 1: i liked him a lot more after watching this visit
13:43
Speaker 1: THAN i ever did, before just BECAUSE i always thought
13:45
Speaker 1: he was kind of a, stiff you, know prim and,
13:48
Speaker 1: proper kind of you, know awkward. Guy that is not
13:52
Speaker 1: how he came across on this trip at. All in,
13:54
Speaker 1: FACT i remember when he came back When bush was
13:57
Speaker 1: in office back in two thousand and two thousand and.
13:59
Speaker 1: EIGHT i think it was too and five maybe when
14:00
Speaker 1: they made their visit IF i remember, correctly and that
14:03
Speaker 1: year could be, wrong but he didn't even have and
14:06
Speaker 1: granted he was not.
14:07
Speaker 2: The king, yet SO i think he was playing a.
14:09
Speaker 2: Role but it's like.
14:10
Speaker 1: He's now LIKE i am the, guy and he's way
14:13
Speaker 1: more funny than he was when he visited back.
14:14
Speaker 2: Then.
14:15
Speaker 3: Yeah, LOOK i will say this past, WEEKEND i was In, Scottsdale,
14:19
Speaker 3: arizona AND i was that you, know talking about that
14:23
Speaker 3: two thousand and five visit that this last, WEEKEND i
14:27
Speaker 3: was In, Scottsdale. Arizona The Hoover institute had had a
14:30
Speaker 3: gathering of its board of overseers and its top, supporters
14:32
Speaker 3: and they invited me to come Speak saturday night to the.
14:36
Speaker 3: Dinner and what we did at the dinner is we
14:38
Speaker 3: did a fireside chat Where Kandy rice interviewed. Me And
14:42
Speaker 3: i've Known kandy for twenty five years And kandy's remarkably.
14:46
Speaker 2: Candiding by the, Way she's so.
14:48
Speaker 4: Awesome she's.
14:49
Speaker 3: Phenomenal and we had an hour long discussion that was
14:52
Speaker 3: really deep and. Nuanced but, Beforehand condye AND i were
14:56
Speaker 3: chatting AND i mentioned to you, that you, know On
14:59
Speaker 3: monday THAT i was going to go to this garden
15:01
Speaker 3: party AND i was excited to meet uh Meeth king And.
15:03
Speaker 3: Queen and she's she referenced that two thousand and five
15:05
Speaker 3: visit and she, said, oh, yeah.
15:06
Speaker 4: When when he.
15:07
Speaker 3: Came uh she Was secretary Of estate at the, time
15:10
Speaker 3: and she, said, WELL i was the senior, woman SO
15:13
Speaker 3: i was his. Escort And i'm, like all, Right i'm
15:16
Speaker 3: psyched to go to a garden party and like meet
15:19
Speaker 3: him And i'm like you really bigfooted. Me you're LIKE
15:22
Speaker 3: i was his. Date okay that that that that would
15:25
Speaker 3: be one step. Up but but look. IT i will
15:31
Speaker 3: admit the humor and it was very well. Written it's
15:34
Speaker 3: Very british dry. Humor h but but he delivered it very.
15:39
Speaker 3: Well And i'm going to CONFESS i actually turned the
15:41
Speaker 3: senator next to me before the speech started AND i
15:44
Speaker 3: sort of wisecracked that that he wasn't known to be
15:46
Speaker 3: the most rivetting, speaker and he really surprised. ME i
15:49
Speaker 3: was not expecting give give a listen to some of
15:52
Speaker 3: the better jokes he had in his, speech because they
15:54
Speaker 3: were they were really well.
15:55
Speaker 6: Done As Oscar wilde, said we have rarely everything in
16:02
Speaker 6: common With america, nowadays except of course. Language, now as
16:09
Speaker 6: you may, know WHEN i address my own parliament At,
16:12
Speaker 6: westminster we still follow an age old tradition and take
16:17
Speaker 6: a member Of parliament, hostage holding him or her At
16:23
Speaker 6: Buckingham palace UNTIL i am safely. Returned these days we
16:32
Speaker 6: look after our guests rather, well to the point that
16:35
Speaker 6: they often do not want to. Leave this is a
16:40
Speaker 6: city which symbolizes a period in our shared, history or
16:45
Speaker 6: What Charles dickens might have called a tale of Two.
16:48
Speaker 6: Georgies the First president Of George washington and my five
17:04
Speaker 6: times great, Grandfather King, george the Third King, george as your,
17:09
Speaker 6: know never set foot In, america and please rest assured
17:15
Speaker 6: When i'm not here as part of some cunning rear
17:19
Speaker 6: guard action two hundred and fifty years, ago or as
17:25
Speaker 6: we say in The United kingdom just the other.
17:28
Speaker 1: DAY i, mean there's some really good lines, there that
17:35
Speaker 1: one right, there the two hundred and fifty years or
17:37
Speaker 1: as we say just the other. DAY i cook the
17:40
Speaker 1: speech writers killed, it but he delivered the lines with a,
17:44
Speaker 1: grin and it was, really, really really fun to see
17:46
Speaker 1: him do that in such a fun way in front Of.
17:50
Speaker 3: Congress, WELL i really like The i'm not here as
17:53
Speaker 3: some sort of cunning rearguard. Action that that made me
17:56
Speaker 3: laugh out. Loud and, actually WHEN i just listened to
17:58
Speaker 3: it right, now may laugh out loud. Again like that
18:01
Speaker 3: that was funny and delivered really. Well And i'll tell
18:04
Speaker 3: you for for those of you who are not watching
18:06
Speaker 3: this this on, YouTube if you watched, it you can
18:09
Speaker 3: see him the joke, about As dickens would have, said
18:13
Speaker 3: a tale of Two george's that joke didn't quite, land
18:17
Speaker 3: and he sort of made this like self deprecating. Face
18:23
Speaker 3: he he acknowledged facially that.
18:27
Speaker 4: That it's that it's a. Pun it's it's a.
18:28
Speaker 3: Pun that that that and when and his facial expression
18:33
Speaker 3: is what prompted a bigger laugh and then a round of.
18:36
Speaker 4: Applause but it was that in.
18:39
Speaker 3: Particular you had to see the expression to see how
18:42
Speaker 3: he how he made. It he made it a, winner
18:45
Speaker 3: AND i was really happily. Surprised now his speech was
18:49
Speaker 3: good enough that that that that That here's what What
18:52
Speaker 3: President trump had to say about the speech.
18:55
Speaker 4: Afterwards this is.
18:57
Speaker 7: A great, honor and Welcome Their Majesty's King charles The
19:03
Speaker 7: third And Queen camilla of The United kingdom to The White.
19:09
Speaker 7: House very special, place very very. Special AND i also
19:13
Speaker 7: want to before we really, BEGIN i want to Congratulate
19:18
Speaker 7: charles on having made a fantastic speech today At. Congress
19:23
Speaker 7: he got The democrats to Sand i've never been able
19:25
Speaker 7: to do.
19:25
Speaker 5: THAT i couldn't believe.
19:28
Speaker 4: IT i couldn't believe.
19:31
Speaker 5: It they liked him more than they've ever liked Any
19:35
Speaker 5: republican Or.
19:36
Speaker 1: DEMOCRAT i love that Or democrat actually like.
19:39
Speaker 2: That that was one of the best.
19:41
Speaker 1: Lines and it goes back to like WHEN i said
19:43
Speaker 1: at the, Beginning i'm, like didn't The Democratic party just
19:46
Speaker 1: like spend an entire like several months screaming No kings
19:49
Speaker 1: and having No kings? Protests and they gave him like
19:53
Speaker 1: a glowing standing ovation multiple, times loving The king being
19:58
Speaker 1: there more than they'd.
19:59
Speaker 2: Ever do for Any, republican that's for.
20:01
Speaker 3: Sure, well The White house today tweeted out a picture
20:04
Speaker 3: Of President trump And King charles just with the words two,
20:08
Speaker 3: kings which which drove the left out of their.
20:11
Speaker 2: Minds, yeah that was good easy trolling right.
20:15
Speaker 3: There, Yeah AND i will Say King charles also had
20:19
Speaker 3: another couple of jokes at the state dinner at The White.
20:22
Speaker 4: House give a listen to these on this.
20:25
Speaker 6: OCCASION i cannot help noticing the readjustments to The east,
20:30
Speaker 6: wing Mister, president following your visit To Winsor castle last.
20:36
Speaker 6: Year And i'm sorry to say that We, british of
20:39
Speaker 6: course made our own small attempt at real estate redevelopment
20:44
Speaker 6: of The White house in eighteen.
20:45
Speaker 1: FOURTEEN i, mean that's a great line right, There like
20:54
Speaker 1: whoever he, hired LIKE i want to steal them and
20:58
Speaker 1: bring them.
20:59
Speaker 2: Here because they were brilliant.
21:00
Speaker 3: Jokes and by the, way for those of y'all who
21:03
Speaker 3: aren't students of, history in The war of eighteen, twelve
21:06
Speaker 3: The british burned The White house and like leveled. It
21:09
Speaker 3: and so that's, LOOK i assume The king probably has
21:13
Speaker 3: a speech writer on, staff but whether he used his
21:18
Speaker 3: normal speech writer or brought in it wouldn't surprise me
21:21
Speaker 3: if they actually brought in a comedy. WRITER i, mean they're,
21:23
Speaker 3: yeah for, sure because there's and WHAT i like about
21:29
Speaker 3: the humor is it's just it's the Rye british humor
21:32
Speaker 3: that there's a dryness to it that just makes it
21:35
Speaker 3: makes it really. Funny but, LISTEN i am glad that
21:39
Speaker 3: The king was, here AND i am glad that both
21:43
Speaker 3: he And President trump focused on the foundation of our,
21:48
Speaker 3: culture of our, law of our understanding that our rights
21:52
Speaker 3: come From God, almighty that governments are instituted to secure those,
21:56
Speaker 3: rights that history we've. Got this entire, year our two
22:00
Speaker 3: hundred and fiftieth birthday is going to be a lot
22:02
Speaker 3: of discussion of, that AND i think the kings being
22:04
Speaker 3: here was an important part of.
22:06
Speaker 4: That it really.
22:07
Speaker 2: Was it was very.
22:07
Speaker 1: Cool it was nice to see people come together and
22:10
Speaker 1: have this, moment especially after what we just had The
22:12
Speaker 1: White House Correspondence. CENTER i want to move center on
22:15
Speaker 1: to another, topic and that is some good news for
22:18
Speaker 1: people that are sick and tired of seeing crimes committed
22:20
Speaker 1: in one actual, action especially when it comes to taxpayer
22:24
Speaker 1: dollars disappearing by the tens of. Billions and now we
22:27
Speaker 1: have THE fbi that has rated The minneapolis fraud ridden
22:32
Speaker 1: care centers twenty plus of these that were actually raided
22:36
Speaker 1: by THE, fbi including the famous children's leering center that
22:41
Speaker 1: was supposed to say on their sign learning but it
22:43
Speaker 1: was just a leering.
22:44
Speaker 2: Center that one was rated as.
22:46
Speaker 1: Well AND i am excited to just, say at least
22:51
Speaker 1: it looks like now we're getting some real action into
22:55
Speaker 1: stopping this, fraud into showing that if you take away
22:58
Speaker 1: taxpayer dollars this way AND i sent it to terrorist
23:00
Speaker 1: organizations like Als, jabab and you bribe democrats to look
23:04
Speaker 1: the other, way Like Governor, waltz but with campaign, contributions
23:08
Speaker 1: somebody is at least going to come in and actually
23:10
Speaker 1: hold you.
23:11
Speaker 3: Accountable, yes, Look i'm very glad that there is finally
23:14
Speaker 3: going to be some accountability twenty two locations In minneapolis
23:18
Speaker 3: rated by THE. Fbi this week you mentioned The Quality Leering.
23:21
Speaker 3: Center of course they're most proud graduate Ilhan, omar who
23:26
Speaker 3: actually is not.
23:27
Speaker 1: Technical World war eleven? Yesterday did you know about? That
23:30
Speaker 1: we got eleven war? Wars that's impressive. STUFF i didn't
23:33
Speaker 1: think The king Of eland knew.
23:34
Speaker 4: That it really is.
23:35
Speaker 3: Stunning so she was giving a speech and the speech
23:39
Speaker 3: Referenced World war, two but the two is Two roman,
23:42
Speaker 3: numerals and that's how you normally Write World war. Two
23:46
Speaker 3: and she read that As World war eleven yes, now.
23:50
Speaker 1: And didn't like correct, herself just owned it and kept
23:53
Speaker 1: going like it was not like if you OR i did.
23:55
Speaker 1: That and by the, way if you've ever read a
23:57
Speaker 1: speech and you're tired or you're just kind of a long,
24:00
Speaker 1: day you can you might immediately correct.
24:03
Speaker 2: It she had no, clue no.
24:05
Speaker 3: Idea, look, look there's a level of ignorance. There if
24:10
Speaker 3: a ninth grader Thought World WAR ii Was World war,
24:14
Speaker 3: eleven you would flunk that ninth. GRADER i, mean you
24:18
Speaker 3: think about it years.
24:19
Speaker 1: Too nowadays we'll just socially just pass them on in
24:22
Speaker 1: our public. School so back in the good old, days you'd.
24:24
Speaker 2: Fail.
24:24
Speaker 3: Look, Look Ilhan omar is one of the Leading. Democrats
24:27
Speaker 3: she AND aoc AND i mean the crazy squad is
24:31
Speaker 3: driving the agenda Of democrats today and the level of
24:35
Speaker 3: ignorance of basic world, history it is really. Stunning And
24:42
Speaker 3: omar was also integral in covering up The somali fraud In.
24:48
Speaker 3: Minnesota she was a beneficiary of. It she was elected
24:53
Speaker 3: by the. Fraudsters The somali voting base is her core.
24:57
Speaker 3: Base their money helped elect, her their votes did elect.
25:03
Speaker 3: Her and she And Tim wallson the, governor And Keith,
25:07
Speaker 3: ellison the ag they were all absolutely involved in the cover.
25:12
Speaker 3: Up they had every. Incentive it was, corrupt and we're
25:15
Speaker 3: talking over nine billion dollars of taxpayer money swindled. Away
25:20
Speaker 3: and so here's What Fox news reported about the. Raids
25:24
Speaker 3: federal authorities rated more than twenty, locations including childcare, facilities
25:28
Speaker 3: In minneapolis On tuesday as part of a sweeping fraud
25:32
Speaker 3: investigation into Largely somali owned. Businesses sources confirmed To Fox.
25:36
Speaker 3: News quote, today THE, fbi with, federal state and local
25:40
Speaker 3: law enforcement is involved in court authorized law enforcement activity
25:46
Speaker 3: as part of an ongoing fraud. INVESTIGATION a department Of
25:49
Speaker 3: justice spokesperson said authorities executed twenty two federal search warrants
25:54
Speaker 3: In minnesota On tuesday morning as part of the, operation
25:57
Speaker 3: which is not immigration. Related sources said the raids center
26:02
Speaker 3: on federal fraud investigations into Largely somali owned, businesses including
26:06
Speaker 3: childcare facilities that registered their daycare with the state but
26:11
Speaker 3: were allegedly billing for care that was not. Provided sources
26:15
Speaker 3: Told Fox news that two of the raids were conducted
26:18
Speaker 3: at The Quality Leering center And baby Hallim No, childcare
26:23
Speaker 3: both In. Minneapolis Vice president J D vance addressed the
26:27
Speaker 3: raids a post on, x, writing the Task force of
26:29
Speaker 3: THE doj will be relentless and exposing these fraudsters wherever
26:34
Speaker 3: they may be. Hiding Governor Tim, waltz this.
26:38
Speaker 4: Is you you want to talk. About Amazing hutspot.
26:41
Speaker 3: Said the raids were carried out by federal and state
26:44
Speaker 3: law enforcement after state agencies quote caught irregular behavior and reported.
26:50
Speaker 7: It.
26:51
Speaker 3: Quote if you commit fraud In, Minnesota you're going to get.
26:54
Speaker 3: Caught and that's exactly what we saw. Today we catch
26:58
Speaker 3: criminals when state and federal agency share, information join, investigations,
27:02
Speaker 3: work and securing justice depends upon it now that truly
27:07
Speaker 3: is stunning Because, walts his entire, governorship has looked the
27:11
Speaker 3: other way on massive, fraud has refused to investigate, it
27:15
Speaker 3: has profited from, it has been elected by, it has
27:18
Speaker 3: taken campaign donations from. It the Entire democrat machinery was
27:23
Speaker 3: built on. Fraud and now he's taking. Credit that really
27:28
Speaker 3: is like the arsonists taking credit when the firefighters turn
27:31
Speaker 3: up and put out the.
27:32
Speaker 2: Fire, yeah it really.
27:34
Speaker 1: Is and it's all because now he's not running for, reelection,
27:36
Speaker 1: right so he can just be, like, oh we're rooting
27:38
Speaker 1: out fraud and try TO i guess rebuild his. Legacy
27:40
Speaker 1: so maybe he can have a grand comeback one. DAY
27:43
Speaker 1: i don't know if that's going to. Work there's one
27:46
Speaker 1: aspect of this though center that excites, me and it's
27:48
Speaker 1: the fact that it's clear this is the, beginning not the,
27:51
Speaker 1: end based on what was said by THE, doj like
27:55
Speaker 1: this is the tip of the. Iceberg we're going to
27:58
Speaker 1: the catalyst. Point and then there's been directives at all,
28:02
Speaker 1: states Including republican led, states to start looking at, waste
28:05
Speaker 1: fraud and.
28:06
Speaker 2: Abuse they're looking At.
28:07
Speaker 1: CALIFORNIA i think you're going to see more people that
28:09
Speaker 1: are gonna be indicted and more places that are going
28:12
Speaker 1: to be rated outside Of. Minnesota that is exactly what
28:15
Speaker 1: The american people voted, for which was to get rid of,
28:17
Speaker 1: waste fraud and.
28:18
Speaker 3: Abuse that is exactly. Right AND i will point out
28:21
Speaker 3: also that Other blue states are. Coming california is. COMING
28:27
Speaker 3: i have every reason to, expect and, Indeed i've been
28:29
Speaker 3: told by senior officials in the Administration california is even, worse,
28:35
Speaker 3: yeah Than minneapolis has. Been AND i want you also
28:40
Speaker 3: give a listen To Agriculture secretary Brook rawlins and what
28:45
Speaker 3: she revealed about fraud and abuse CONCERNING. Snap concerning food.
28:49
Speaker 3: Stamps give a listen to To Secretary.
28:51
Speaker 2: Rollins, yeah this one's.
28:52
Speaker 1: Amazing by the, way for, context this is about luxury
28:55
Speaker 1: cars and how many people on food stamps are driving
28:59
Speaker 1: like luxury.
28:59
Speaker 2: Car it's incredible.
29:01
Speaker 8: Sharing, previously no data was. Shared we had no idea
29:04
Speaker 8: where the taxpayer dollars were, spent just one red. State
29:07
Speaker 8: the recent dump of, data we FOUND snap recipients had
29:11
Speaker 8: more than two Thousand tesla, owners two Hundred Alpha romeo,
29:15
Speaker 8: owners more than one hundred and forty four that were
29:17
Speaker 8: receiving food. Stamps we're Driving. Porsches, again this is the
29:22
Speaker 8: data dumps we're getting because that we before we had
29:25
Speaker 8: no accountability on any of these. Programs we now are requiring.
29:28
Speaker 8: Accountability The blue states are suing. Us they don't want
29:31
Speaker 8: to share the. Data and can you imagine this was
29:33
Speaker 8: a red state where there is actually some taxpayer. Accountability
29:38
Speaker 8: imagine what's happening in The blue. States if that's happening
29:41
Speaker 8: in the red, state.
29:43
Speaker 2: WELL i love.
29:43
Speaker 1: That it's like a bunch Of tesla, Owners Alpha, romeo Also, Porsches,
29:48
Speaker 1: Mercedes BMW's and you're on food, stamps like these were.
29:52
Speaker 3: High end luxury ben it's even. Worse so let me
29:55
Speaker 3: give some additional. Breakdown so there are three hundred and
29:58
Speaker 3: six Land.
29:59
Speaker 2: Rovers they're worth, cheap by the.
30:01
Speaker 3: Way there were fifty Nine. Maseratis, yeah there were bridge
30:07
Speaker 3: stamp car you know. That there were Eleven, lamborghinis there
30:14
Speaker 3: were Three, ferraris and there were Three. Bentley's these are
30:19
Speaker 3: people getting food stamps driving a quarter million dollar or
30:24
Speaker 3: more like A lamborghini could be a million dollar car
30:27
Speaker 3: depending on which one they. Had, yeah that is an absolute.
30:32
Speaker 3: Abuse and if that happened in just One red state
30:35
Speaker 3: that handed over its data how much do you think
30:38
Speaker 3: it's happening In. Minnesota how much do you think it's
30:41
Speaker 3: happening In New? York how much do you think it
30:42
Speaker 3: is happening In. Illinois how much you think it's happening In.
30:45
Speaker 3: California the numbers are going to be.
30:47
Speaker 1: Done every time they went after and got somebody there for. Fraud,
30:51
Speaker 1: recently what were they. Doing you saw them putting in
30:54
Speaker 1: a six figure car that was being c's and some
30:58
Speaker 1: of the cases there was like multiple six figure cars
31:00
Speaker 1: that were being c center and put on. Flatbeds, like,
31:03
Speaker 1: yeah they finally raided the house of this fraudster and
31:05
Speaker 1: look at what they. Had, like if you're on food
31:07
Speaker 1: stamps and you're driving A lambo or A ferrari or A,
31:10
Speaker 1: maserati like you were defrauding THE us, government full.
31:14
Speaker 3: Stop, amen hallelujah and. Listen i'm very glad The trump
31:21
Speaker 3: administration is having some. Accountability let me read from what
31:27
Speaker 3: The New York post wrote about, this this story About
31:29
Speaker 3: ferrari drivers on food. Stamps so it's Entitled ferrari drivers
31:32
Speaker 3: on Food? Stamps How states helped scammers game? Welfare New York.
31:38
Speaker 3: Post what do a university professor a celebrity, barber and
31:42
Speaker 3: a professional football player have in.
31:43
Speaker 4: Common all three bought new.
31:47
Speaker 3: Six figure luxury sports cars and lived lavish lifestyles while
31:52
Speaker 3: collecting food. Stamps how on earth can these quote welfare
31:57
Speaker 3: recipients purchase high end vehicles while remaining on the thanks
32:01
Speaker 3: to a federal loophole known as broad based categorical. Eligibility
32:06
Speaker 3: The clinton administration manufactured this loophole and The obama administration supercharged. It,
32:12
Speaker 3: currently forty three states In, washington D C used broad
32:16
Speaker 3: based categorical eligibility to bypass Federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistant program
32:22
Speaker 3: eligibility limits on, income assets or. Both the, mechanism based
32:29
Speaker 3: on a federal law that was meant to minimize state's administrative,
32:32
Speaker 3: cost is. Simple state welfare agencies print up a brochure
32:36
Speaker 3: about welfare programs or set up an informal hotline and
32:39
Speaker 3: deem it a quote benefit under The Temporary assistance For
32:43
Speaker 3: Needy families. Program anyone who touches that, pamphlet touches or
32:49
Speaker 3: receives the phone number is then treated as being quote
32:54
Speaker 3: categorically eligible for food, stamps even a. Millionaires its fraud
33:02
Speaker 3: by design that distributes benefits intended for the truly needy
33:07
Speaker 3: to otherwise ineligible individuals under the insidious goal of maximizing
33:12
Speaker 3: enrollment and, dependency and it works in almost every. State
33:17
Speaker 3: researchers from The foundation For Government accountability examined de identified
33:22
Speaker 3: data on food stamp enrollment in a single representative. State
33:26
Speaker 3: the data set matched recipients with, jobs, addresses car, registrations and,
33:32
Speaker 3: more and then they redacted the personal details before the researchers.
33:36
Speaker 3: Reviewed that's what produced these. Outcomes and by the, way
33:43
Speaker 3: it also thousands Used Social security numbers that federal databases
33:49
Speaker 3: could not. Verify that included real numbers with mismatched names and,
33:54
Speaker 3: birthdays numbers issued years before the applicant's date of births
34:00
Speaker 3: of people who died years, ago and numbers that don't even.
34:04
Speaker 3: Exist all are clear signs that both stolen identities and
34:09
Speaker 3: synthetic identities are being used to defraud the. System THE
34:15
Speaker 3: bbcee loophole doesn't just expand. Enrollments it creates the condition
34:19
Speaker 3: for outright criminals to. Flourish when state agencies eliminate asset,
34:24
Speaker 3: checks they tear out the trip wires that cost fraudulent.
34:28
Speaker 3: Applications this is a case in. Point the wealthy, professor,
34:35
Speaker 3: barber and professional athlete THAT fga researchers spotted could be
34:39
Speaker 3: victims of identity fraud Because snap intentionally allows anything to
34:46
Speaker 3: serve as proof of, identity even a library. Card if
34:50
Speaker 3: states were cross checking income and, assets those cases would
34:54
Speaker 3: be flagged as potential. Fraud thousands. More here's something else.
35:00
Speaker 3: More food stamp recipients in the study enrolled USING ip
35:04
Speaker 3: addresses traced to foreign, countries Including, China, mexico And. Canada
35:12
Speaker 3: more than five thousand applicants in this state used foreign
35:15
Speaker 3: based email addresses to, apply and countless others used disposable.
35:20
Speaker 3: Emails the kind design for identity theft and. Phishing, look
35:25
Speaker 3: THE usda puts improper foodstamp payments at ten point four
35:30
Speaker 3: billion dollars a year with A b that's more than
35:34
Speaker 3: one in every ten dollars spent on the. Program and
35:39
Speaker 3: so now we're going after that. Fraud And i'm here to, say,
35:44
Speaker 3: yes this is WHAT i voted. For holding the criminals,
35:47
Speaker 3: accountable and by the, way holding The democrats accountable who
35:51
Speaker 3: have enabled this theft of taxpayer. Fraud you want to
35:54
Speaker 3: know what The democrats stand? For they stand For somali
35:57
Speaker 3: fraudsters stealing your tax money and send it To Al,
36:00
Speaker 3: shabab islamus terrorist And. Somalia they stand for thieves Driving
36:06
Speaker 3: bentley's And lamborghinis and ferraris who say they need food
36:10
Speaker 3: stamps and stealing your. Money that IS I and by the, way,
36:15
Speaker 3: look Sometimes heidi will, say, gosh you know that rhetoric
36:20
Speaker 3: sounds really. Harsh, Well, ben if The democrats don't stand for,
36:25
Speaker 3: that THEN i just want to ask you a. Question
36:28
Speaker 3: why Wouldn't democrat governors do what The trump administration has.
36:31
Speaker 3: Done why wouldn't they go after and cut them? Off
36:35
Speaker 3: and they don't do it because ideologically they are in
36:39
Speaker 3: favor of. It if they just, SAID i, mean is
36:41
Speaker 3: there One democrat in the country will, say all, right
36:43
Speaker 3: we're gonna have a rule nobody on food stamps can
36:46
Speaker 3: have a.
36:47
Speaker 4: Ferrari like if you have a, ferrari sell your damn
36:49
Speaker 4: car and buy your.
36:53
Speaker 3: Food with that money you get for selling your, car
36:55
Speaker 3: but you don't get if you got the money for a,
36:57
Speaker 3: ferrari we ain't paying for your. FOOD i gotta that
37:00
Speaker 3: sounds like common. Sense and there's not a Single democrat
37:03
Speaker 3: governor in the country that's said.
37:04
Speaker 2: That am into. That don't.
