- 1:17Speaker 2: Yes, we do. More ahead on this edition of Vince.

- 2:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Let's see here. We got a lot of news breaking
- 2:46Speaker 1: in the last 24 hours.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It's obviously the Trump administration. I'm on the radio show yesterday,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and I was talking about some of the swirling speculation
- 2:54Speaker 1: that Kristi Noem might be leaving, and suddenly the speculation
- 2:57Speaker 1: became reality that Kristi.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Noem is leaving DHS. We'll explore that in just a moment.
- 3:02Speaker 2: But let me just start. It's a Friday, so let's
- 3:04Speaker 2: start with some interesting and fun news.
- 3:06Speaker 1: The president... is doing very well in the eyes of
- 3:10Speaker 1: Republican voters all across the country. In fact, he is
- 3:13Speaker 1: doing so well right now that he is outperforming all,
- 3:20Speaker 1: let's emphasize this, all A-L-L former presidents, all of them
- 3:25Speaker 1: with his own party. Don't take my word for it.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Here is old timey horse racing announcer, Harry Enten, watch.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Republicans love Donald Trump more than any president's own party
- 3:40Speaker 6: supporters loved him at this particular point.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Just take a look here.
- 3:43Speaker 6: OK, own party supporters, 21st century presidents, own party approval
- 3:46Speaker 6: about at this point in the second term. Bush was
- 3:49Speaker 6: at 77 percent. Obama was at 77 percent.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Look at this.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Eighty six percent.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Of Republicans support. approve of the job that Donald Trump
- 3:57Speaker 6: is doing at this point that is higher than either
- 4:00Speaker 6: Obama or Bush had within their own party at this point.
- 4:03Speaker 6: Trump's magic touch has not seen a war off yet
- 4:07Speaker 6: when it comes to the Republican base.
- 4:08Speaker 1: And what kind of approval are we talking about here?
- 4:10Speaker 6: Okay, so we're talking about overall approval here. How about
- 4:13Speaker 6: the strongly approved, the strongly approved, not just like, but love, love. Okay,
- 4:18Speaker 6: we're going to look at these same presidents again. Strong
- 4:20Speaker 6: approval among your own party's base. What you see here
- 4:23Speaker 6: is Trump is the only one who gets a majority
- 4:25Speaker 6: at this point in their presidency.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Obama was at 48%. Bush was at 47%.
- 4:29Speaker 6: You see here Trump at 53%, not as high as
- 4:33Speaker 6: overall approval rating, but still getting a majority of the
- 4:36Speaker 6: Republican base, at least in the average of polls, to
- 4:38Speaker 6: say that they still.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Really, really, really like him.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, look, we prefer this guy. We prefer this guy.
- 4:46Speaker 2: What's the alternative?
- 4:48Speaker 1: What, you know, who else could we have gone with here?
- 4:51Speaker 2: It's Donald Trump, you know?
- 4:53Speaker 1: This is why so many on the right are ride
- 4:55Speaker 1: or die with Trump. They're like, look, this guy is
- 4:57Speaker 1: the only one. who's been speaking truth for a long time.
- 4:59Speaker 1: He's the only one who's delivering results. He's the only
- 5:01Speaker 1: one who's fought the.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Machine and won.
- 5:03Speaker 1: He's the only guy who gets shot in the head
- 5:06Speaker 1: and then goes on to become the president of the
- 5:08Speaker 1: United States. He fight, fight, fights his way back into office.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Come on now. Of course, he's got strong approval ratings.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And he's got the record to show for it. I mean,
- 5:16Speaker 1: it's been a good second term already. He's been able
- 5:19Speaker 1: to bring prices down. He's been able to secure our borders.
- 5:22Speaker 1: He's deported a lot of illegals. He's making a lot
- 5:24Speaker 1: of arrests. He's bringing peace to the world. And now
- 5:26Speaker 1: he's prosecuting a conflict against the signature terror regime on
- 5:30Speaker 1: planet Earth. And they're ahead of schedule. Yeah, so Republicans
- 5:34Speaker 1: are still high on Trump. Do we debate things that
- 5:37Speaker 1: President Trump is considering or doing? Yeah, all the time.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Because unlike the left, we engage in spirited and open debate.
- 5:44Speaker 1: They have this like tyrannical thing where they just crush
- 5:47Speaker 1: anybody who steps outside of the party line. But as
- 5:50Speaker 1: far as the base is concerned, people like Trump. They
- 5:54Speaker 1: like him better than any of these other former presidents.
- 5:57Speaker 2: They like him.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And so that's good news for the president as we
- 5:59Speaker 1: go into another busy weekend of his second term. Now, yesterday,
- 6:05Speaker 1: as I mentioned, the Department of Homeland Security, we had
- 6:08Speaker 1: a big shift there. The rumor mill was buzzing yesterday
- 6:13Speaker 1: that Kristi Noem may be done at the Department of
- 6:16Speaker 1: Homeland Security. And sure enough, President Trump makes the big
- 6:19Speaker 1: announcement yesterday that that's the case.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Here's what he said on Truth Social. This came to
- 6:23Speaker 2: us at 1.41 p.m. Eastern time.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So For those of you who've tracked me on the
- 6:27Speaker 1: radio show, you know this is, I swear to you,
- 6:29Speaker 1: this was right in the middle of this segment. I
- 6:31Speaker 1: was doing this in the 1.30 time slot yesterday, and
- 6:35Speaker 1: I'm going through everything, going through everything, and it's you, actually, you,
- 6:39Speaker 1: it was the Rumble chat that told me, hey, Vince,
- 6:42Speaker 1: go to Truth Social, because literally the thing you're talking about,
- 6:45Speaker 1: the president has just made the announcement. It was done,
- 6:48Speaker 1: so I got to it within two minutes, I think,
- 6:51Speaker 1: faster than every other news network on the planet because
- 6:55Speaker 1: of you, so. Once again, I thank you. I thank
- 6:57Speaker 1: you for being the best audience anywhere. And here's what
- 6:59Speaker 1: the president said yesterday. I'm pleased to announce that the
- 7:05Speaker 1: highly respected United States Senator from the great state of Oklahoma,
- 7:08Speaker 1: Mark Wayne Mullen, is now going to become the United
- 7:11Speaker 1: States Secretary of Homeland Security, effective March 31st of 2026.
- 7:16Speaker 1: The current secretary, Kristi Noem, who has served us well
- 7:21Speaker 1: and has had numerous and spectacular results, especially on the border,
- 7:25Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, this is what I was saying yesterday.
- 7:26Speaker 2: When I saw the rumor mill buzzing about Kristi Noem,
- 7:28Speaker 2: I was like, wait a second, hold on.
- 7:30Speaker 1: She's done a good job. That border is secure. I
- 7:33Speaker 1: don't know if there's anybody out there who can doubt that.
- 7:35Speaker 2: The border is secure. They're deporting a lot of people.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I'm not down on Kristi Noem. I'm high on Kristi Noem.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I think she's done a very effective job. I had,
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'll get back to the president's message in a second.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I had doubts about Kristi Noem. When she came into office.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I was worried about that. I thought like, really? She's
- 7:54Speaker 2: the DHS secretary.
- 7:55Speaker 1: That's going to work for us. That's going to be
- 7:57Speaker 1: a good idea. Cause I remembered back. Remember when she
- 8:00Speaker 1: was governor of South Dakota, she got involved in this
- 8:02Speaker 1: nonsense where she seemed to be like kind of okay
- 8:04Speaker 1: with the transgender garbage because she was worried about business
- 8:08Speaker 1: interests in the state or something. I didn't like that.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I was worried that she would be weak when it mattered.
- 8:14Speaker 1: And she wasn't, she was strong.
- 8:16Speaker 2: She was strong.
- 8:16Speaker 1: She's not, she's had a good tenure there. I think
- 8:18Speaker 1: it's been pretty good. Now, does it mean there were
- 8:21Speaker 1: no problems and nothing worth scrutinizing?
- 8:24Speaker 2: No, that's not what I'm saying.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I'm just saying that she outperformed my expectations, and they
- 8:28Speaker 1: definitely secured that border. That's not even a debate. More
- 8:31Speaker 1: from the president here, though. They say, he says he's
- 8:35Speaker 1: moving her. She'll become the special envoy for the Shield
- 8:38Speaker 1: of the Americas. The special envoy for the Shield of
- 8:42Speaker 1: the Americas, our new security initiative in the Western Hemisphere
- 8:45Speaker 1: that we are announcing on Saturday. in Doral, Florida. I
- 8:49Speaker 1: thank Christy for her service at Homeland. So let's dwell
- 8:57Speaker 1: on this for a moment, this thing. Now, is she
- 9:01Speaker 1: being fired or is she being promoted? You know, the
- 9:05Speaker 1: truth is only time will be able to tell the
- 9:08Speaker 1: answer to that question. Because sometimes people are given jobs
- 9:11Speaker 1: that are just like ceremonial titles and they end up
- 9:14Speaker 1: not doing that much. And it's just a way to
- 9:15Speaker 1: kind of like pat them on the head, keep them
- 9:17Speaker 1: in the fold, not alienate them. You don't need an enemy.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Just give them something to do. Or this could be
- 9:22Speaker 1: really consequential. This could be a very consequential thing. They're
- 9:25Speaker 1: announcing something brand new, special envoy for the shield of
- 9:27Speaker 1: the Americas. So only time we'll be able to tell
- 9:30Speaker 1: on the subject of that question. What is, Josh, what's
- 9:33Speaker 1: the title of the show today? Didn't I saw some
- 9:35Speaker 1: people in the chat asking about the title. Did we
- 9:37Speaker 1: say that she was canned, that she was fired, that
- 9:40Speaker 1: she was trebucheted?
- 9:40Speaker 2: Is that what we said?
- 9:45Speaker 1: Oh, Trump axes gnome. Not like asks gnome.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Axes. Axes.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Well, we, you know, these titles, we kind of come
- 9:58Speaker 1: up with these titles on the fly. And, you know,
- 10:01Speaker 1: that may not be the perfect title. We could adjust
- 10:03Speaker 1: the title. But the reality is, like, only time is
- 10:05Speaker 1: going to tell what the deal with Kristi Noem is
- 10:08Speaker 1: and whether or not she has a meaningful role. It
- 10:10Speaker 1: does seem like a big deal, though. If you're asking
- 10:12Speaker 1: her to be the head of the security for the
- 10:14Speaker 1: Western hemisphere, that goes right to the Don Roe Doctrine.
- 10:19Speaker 1: and what the president wants to do with the Western Hemisphere.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So he's still placing trust in her, no doubt, in
- 10:24Speaker 1: whatever capacity. Additionally, he goes on to say that, look,
- 10:27Speaker 1: Mark Wayne Mullen's a great guy. He served in the
- 10:29Speaker 1: House for a decade, three years in the Senate. He
- 10:32Speaker 1: represents Oklahoma well. That's a state where Trump won 77
- 10:36Speaker 1: out of 77 counties, he needs you to know, in
- 10:39Speaker 1: all three of his presidential elections. He says Mark Wayne
- 10:43Speaker 1: Mullen's a MAGA warrior, a former undefeated professional MMA fighter.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Ha ha ha.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Which we could use some toughness when it comes to
- 10:50Speaker 1: illegal immigration. Mark Wayne Mullen truly gets along well with
- 10:55Speaker 1: people and he knows the wisdom and the courage required
- 10:57Speaker 1: to advance our America First agenda. He is, contrary to
- 11:03Speaker 1: Elizabeth Warren's claims, the only Native American in the Senate.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Mark Wayne is a fantastic advocate for our incredible tribal communities.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Mark Wayne will work tirelessly to keep our borders secure,
- 11:15Speaker 1: stop migrant crime, murderers, and other criminals from illegally entering
- 11:18Speaker 1: our country, end the scourge of illegal drugs, and make
- 11:21Speaker 1: America safe again. Mark Wayne will make a spectacular Secretary
- 11:25Speaker 1: of Homeland Security. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
- 11:28Speaker 1: In all caps, President Donald J.
- 11:30Speaker 7: Trump.
- 11:30Speaker 2: All right, so he makes the big announcement. He makes
- 11:33Speaker 2: the big announcement. Mm-hmm.
- 11:36Speaker 3: So.
- 11:37Speaker 1: What's the fallout of all of this? Well, Mark Wen
- 11:39Speaker 1: Mullen says he's very excited to get started. In fact,
- 11:42Speaker 1: he's very ready to get started. Here is a little
- 11:45Speaker 1: bit of Senator right now, Mullen, yesterday.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Cut to watch.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Well, it came from the White House, so it came
- 11:51Speaker 5: from the switchboard. But I was excited. The president, first
- 11:54Speaker 5: of all, the president and I have a really good relationship.
- 11:57Speaker 5: We talk all the time anyways. I wasn't, I've got
- 12:01Speaker 5: to be honest with you, I wasn't expecting the call today.
- 12:03Speaker 5: But super excited. And I'm more excited about just ready
- 12:06Speaker 5: to get started. There's a lot of work we can
- 12:08Speaker 5: do to get Department of Homeland Security working for the
- 12:11Speaker 5: American people. Department of Homeland Security has a very broad jurisdiction.
- 12:18Speaker 5: And I think there's a lot of work that we
- 12:20Speaker 5: need to do.
- 12:21Speaker 3: And I'm excited. Christy is a friend.
- 12:22Speaker 5: And I haven't had time to call Christy yet, or
- 12:25Speaker 5: Secretary Noem. Our families are friends.
- 12:30Speaker 3: She was tasked to do.
- 12:31Speaker 5: A very difficult job. and I think she has performed
- 12:36Speaker 5: the best she can do underneath the circumstances. Is there
- 12:40Speaker 5: always lessons to be learned? You know, listen, my wife
- 12:43Speaker 5: and I, over the years, we have been fortunate enough
- 12:46Speaker 5: to purchase companies and grow our companies, and every day
- 12:49Speaker 5: there's something you can do better. And so I think
- 12:52Speaker 5: there's an opportunity to build off successes, and there's also
- 12:55Speaker 5: opportunities to build off things that maybe didn't go quite
- 12:58Speaker 5: as planned.
- 13:00Speaker 8: Huh.
- 13:00Speaker 1: There's opportunities to build off of things that didn't go
- 13:03Speaker 1: quite as planned.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Well, that is a clear indication that not everything was
- 13:09Speaker 1: going well enough, and Mark Wayne Mullen clearly knows, probably
- 13:13Speaker 1: because the president told him, there are things that he
- 13:16Speaker 1: doesn't like going on at DHS that need to be
- 13:18Speaker 1: tightened up.
- 13:19Speaker 2: What might those be?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Well, Bill Malusion at the Fox News Channel gave us
- 13:23Speaker 1: an interesting summary of how all of this went down.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Here he is explaining what led... to Kristi Noem's ouster
- 13:30Speaker 1: and why Mark Wayne Mullen was the pick.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Here's Bill. Listen. Brewing for a couple months.
- 13:34Speaker 7: It started in Minneapolis with all the bad headlines that
- 13:37Speaker 7: were coming out there every day. It escalated when Secretary
- 13:40Speaker 7: Noem went on TV and called Alex Preddy and Renee
- 13:43Speaker 7: Good domestic terrorists. It escalated further when Tom Homan was
- 13:47Speaker 7: brought in to essentially be the shot caller there. And
- 13:49Speaker 7: Noem and Greg Bovino were essentially sidelined. But then it
- 13:53Speaker 7: hit a snowball effect this week with her testimony here
- 13:57Speaker 7: on the Hill. And we just got some clarity as
- 13:59Speaker 7: to what happened with Senator John Kennedy and Noem and
- 14:03Speaker 7: the White House earlier this week. Senator Kennedy just gaggled
- 14:07Speaker 7: with reporters here at the Hill a short time ago,
- 14:09Speaker 7: and he gave us a bigger picture look at this. So,
- 14:11Speaker 7: he said ahead of that hearing he had heard about
- 14:14Speaker 7: this $ 200 million ad buy that DHS and Secretary Noem did.
- 14:18Speaker 7: Of course, we've seen the ads where she's on horseback,
- 14:21Speaker 7: she's featured heavily. there were some allegations that maybe there
- 14:24Speaker 7: was some cronyism in those contracts. So, Senator Kennedy said
- 14:27Speaker 7: that he was offended by the size and scope of
- 14:30Speaker 7: that contract.
- 14:31Speaker 1: So, he called up the White House and he said,
- 14:33Speaker 1: we've got Noem on the Hill tomorrow.
- 14:35Speaker 7: I would like to press her under oath and ask
- 14:38Speaker 7: her about this contract. And he said the White House
- 14:40Speaker 7: essentially didn't oppose it, said go ahead. So, then we
- 14:44Speaker 7: see that hearing on Tuesday where he pressed her about
- 14:46Speaker 7: the contract directly and he asked her repeatedly, did President
- 14:51Speaker 7: Trump personally approve of this contract to spend $ 200 million
- 14:57Speaker 7: on this ad contract? And Kristi Noem replied under oath
- 15:00Speaker 7: that yes, he did. Well, President Trump is now saying- Yeah.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Noem replied under oath that he did. In fact, I'm
- 15:08Speaker 1: going to show you two pieces of video. First and foremost,
- 15:10Speaker 1: here's the ad. This is cut five. Let's do the
- 15:12Speaker 1: ad first. This is the ad that everybody's talking about.
- 15:16Speaker 1: It's an ad that you may have seen on some
- 15:18Speaker 1: of the conservative news channels. This has been airing on
- 15:20Speaker 1: places like Fox News and Newsmax, apparently.
- 15:23Speaker 2: And OK, that's fine.
- 15:26Speaker 1: But I don't think illegal aliens are watching Fox or Newsmax.
- 15:30Speaker 2: So I'm not really sure how this works exactly.
- 15:33Speaker 1: But here you go. Here's the ad.
- 15:37Speaker 9: Why do I love these wide open spaces? They remind
- 15:40Speaker 9: me of why our forefathers came here. not just for
- 15:43Speaker 9: its beauty, but for the freedom only America provides. I'm
- 15:47Speaker 9: Kristi Noem. From the cowboys who tamed the West, to
- 15:51Speaker 9: the titans who built our cities, to the dreamers who
- 15:54Speaker 9: chased the impossible, America has always rewarded vision and grit.
- 16:00Speaker 9: Our greatness calls people to us for a chance to prosper,
- 16:04Speaker 9: to live how they choose, to become part of something special.
- 16:09Speaker 9: Anyone who searches for freedom can always find a home here.
- 16:12Speaker 9: But that freedom's a precious thing, and we defend it vigorously.
- 16:17Speaker 9: You cross the border illegally, we'll find you. Break our laws,
- 16:21Speaker 9: we'll punish you. Harm American citizens, there will be consequences.
- 16:26Speaker 9: But if you come here the right way, your American dream.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Look, it's a good-looking ad.
- 16:32Speaker 1: She's a good-looking woman riding a good-looking horse in a
- 16:34Speaker 1: good-looking ad talking about how great our country is. That's
- 16:36Speaker 1: all well and good. And telling illegals, you better not
- 16:38Speaker 1: cross our border illegally. We'll find you.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Okay, but it was a quarter of a billion dollars
- 16:43Speaker 2: to run that spot. And it was running mostly....
- 16:46Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I can't speak to where the whole contract was, but
- 16:49Speaker 1: I know it was running on kind of the more
- 16:50Speaker 1: conservative news outlets, which is obviously kind of an image
- 16:54Speaker 1: campaign for the right. So John Kennedy, he got the clearance,
- 16:59Speaker 1: the go-ahead, the push. Somebody told him, let's have this exchange.
- 17:02Speaker 1: So that's how this ended up happening this past week.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Watch John Kennedy and Kristi Noem.
- 17:07Speaker 4: The president approved ahead of time you spending $ 220 million
- 17:11Speaker 4: dollars running TV ads across the country in which you
- 17:16Speaker 4: are featured prominently. Yes, sir.
- 17:18Speaker 2: We went through the legal processes.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Did it correct? Did the president know you were going
- 17:22Speaker 4: to do this? Yes.
- 17:23Speaker 2: He did?
- 17:24Speaker 10: Yes.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:27Speaker 9: And one thing, Senator, I think would be helpful to
- 17:29Speaker 9: know is how effective that communications has been.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Well, they were effective in your name recognition. I mean,
- 17:38Speaker 4: I personally just I mean, to me, it puts the
- 17:42Speaker 4: president in a terribly awkward spot. And I'm not saying
- 17:48Speaker 4: you're not telling the truth. It's just hard for me
- 17:50Speaker 4: to believe, knowing the president, as I do, that you said, Mr. President,
- 17:57Speaker 4: here's some ads I've cut, and I'm going to spend
- 18:00Speaker 4: $ 220 million running them, that he would have agreed to that.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Kennedy would leave that hearing.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Talked to the president about all of this and said
- 18:14Speaker 1: that President Trump was, only in the way that John
- 18:17Speaker 1: Kennedy could say it, President Trump was mad as a
- 18:20Speaker 1: murder hornet, he said about that exchange. The claim is
- 18:24Speaker 1: that President Trump didn't sign off on the ad campaign.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Either way, that's the TikTok of how we got to
- 18:31Speaker 1: where we got to yesterday. That was the sequence of events.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And Kristi Noem, out. Mark Wayne Mullen, in. Now, what
- 18:40Speaker 1: does that mean for the United States Senate? Mark Wayne
- 18:42Speaker 1: Mullen's a good senator. Mark Wayne Mullen's a guy who
- 18:44Speaker 1: supports the talking.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Filibuster in order to get the SAVE Act passed.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Mark Wayne Mullen's one of the good guys, and he's
- 18:52Speaker 1: off now to go to DHS.
- 18:55Speaker 2: So how does he get replaced? What happens here?
- 18:59Speaker 1: Well, first and foremost, to replace him as senator, that's
- 19:03Speaker 1: up to the governor of Oklahoma, Kevin Stitt.
- 19:07Speaker 2: He's a Republican.
- 19:09Speaker 1: And Oklahoma law allows the governor to appoint that replacement
- 19:13Speaker 1: in the event of a vacancy. And that person will
- 19:18Speaker 1: fill that vacancy all the way up until the next
- 19:21Speaker 1: general election, which is this year, actually.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Mark Wayne Mullen was up for election this year, in
- 19:25Speaker 2: November of this year.
- 19:27Speaker 1: There was a law passed in Oklahoma a couple years back,
- 19:31Speaker 1: and it basically made it so that you can't put
- 19:34Speaker 1: the person into office who will just become kind of
- 19:37Speaker 1: the incumbent that takes it going forward. In fact, the
- 19:41Speaker 1: person who goes in has to be a registered Oklahoma voter.
- 19:44Speaker 1: They have to be from the same party as the
- 19:47Speaker 1: senator who just created the vacancy.
- 19:48Speaker 2: That would be a Republican.
- 19:50Speaker 1: And they are barred from running for the office in
- 19:53Speaker 1: the next election. So this person, whoever he picks, can't
- 19:56Speaker 1: be the next senator who runs in the election. So
- 20:01Speaker 1: Mark Wayne Mullen steps out. And here you have Kevin
- 20:04Speaker 1: Stitt is going to make a pick here just to
- 20:06Speaker 1: replace him. He's already indicated he wants a small government
- 20:11Speaker 1: conservative to be that pick, and he's going to make
- 20:13Speaker 1: his decision. So we'll keep an eye on that particular thing.
- 20:17Speaker 1: And then on Mark Wayne Mullen becoming the DHS secretary,
- 20:20Speaker 1: there's a wisdom in what President Trump just did, which
- 20:23Speaker 1: is he picked the United States senator. Look, anybody he
- 20:26Speaker 1: picks for the cabinet has to go through the confirmation process.
- 20:30Speaker 1: And there's no agency that the left hates more than
- 20:34Speaker 1: the Department of Homeland Security. But if the president is
- 20:36Speaker 1: going to be able to pick anybody, that could possibly
- 20:40Speaker 1: get some Democrat votes in the Senate. It might have
- 20:43Speaker 1: to be someone that they know personally. Remember, when Marco
- 20:46Speaker 1: Rubio came in as Secretary of State, he sailed through
- 20:49Speaker 1: the Senate with flying colors.
- 20:52Speaker 2: He got all sorts of support.
- 20:53Speaker 1: And by the way, Democrats since then have signaled, many
- 20:55Speaker 1: of them, they regret voting for Marco Rubio, given how
- 20:58Speaker 1: effective he has been as Secretary of State. Is the
- 21:02Speaker 1: Mark Wayne Mullen confirmation process going to be contentious? Yes.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Get ready. for a bunch of nonsensical drama in the
- 21:09Speaker 1: midst of all of this. Chuck Schumer's already promising he's
- 21:12Speaker 1: not going to support Mark Wayne Mullen. And he says
- 21:15Speaker 1: it's not even because of who he is personally. He
- 21:18Speaker 1: says that it's all about the policy at DHS. He said,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I've been asked, would I support Senator Mullen as Noem's replacement?
- 21:25Speaker 1: The answer is a resounding no. The rot in DHS
- 21:28Speaker 1: is deep, much deeper than any individual. It's a question
- 21:31Speaker 1: of policy, not personnel. The Senate shouldn't consider any DHS
- 21:35Speaker 1: secretary nominee. until DHS and ICE are reined in. So Schumer,
- 21:39Speaker 1: the psycho, is fully against anybody getting the job. They
- 21:43Speaker 1: don't want to fund DHS. They just voted against it yesterday.
- 21:46Speaker 1: They don't want DHS to even have a leader. They
- 21:49Speaker 1: want utter chaos in the United States. You can't count
- 21:52Speaker 1: on Chuck Schumer and a lot of these Democrats, but
- 21:55Speaker 1: you can count on at least one.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Any guesses? I'm not even going to wait for an answer.
- 22:00Speaker 2: It's John Fetterman, of course. It's always John Fetterman.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Fetterman says, as a member of the Homeland Security Committee
- 22:07Speaker 1: and a ranking member of the Subcommittee on Border Security,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I'm not sure how many fellow Democrats will vote to
- 22:12Speaker 1: support our colleague, Senator Mullen, as the next DHS secretary.
- 22:16Speaker 2: But I am I. He's for him. He's coming.
- 22:21Speaker 1: That I am I, for those listening, it's A-Y-E, as
- 22:24Speaker 1: opposed to a nay. He's going to vote for Mark
- 22:28Speaker 1: Wayne Mullen. He's seen enough.
- 22:30Speaker 2: He's in.
- 22:31Speaker 1: May other Democrats join him. We've got to get this
- 22:34Speaker 1: guy through. We have to get this guy through.
- 22:37Speaker 2: All right, more in a moment.
- 22:38Speaker 1: We've got a lot going on today, including a very
- 22:42Speaker 1: important election beginning today in Virginia. The left is trying
- 22:45Speaker 1: to steal the entire United States House of Representatives, and
- 22:48Speaker 1: Virginians have a mighty opportunity to stop it. I've got
- 22:51Speaker 1: updates on that. Also, the Iran strikes. What are they
- 22:54Speaker 1: doing to the CHICOMs? Very few people are talking about this.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I have Gordon Chang coming up on the program. Gordon
- 23:01Speaker 1: is going to give us some deep insight into how
- 23:03Speaker 1: impacted China is by what's going on in Iran right now.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It's all ahead on this edition of Vince. But first,
- 23:10Speaker 1: I want to thank the great sponsor of our program.

- 24:21Speaker 2: Thank you, True Trade. Great operation. All right, Virginia voters,
- 24:25Speaker 2: today's the day. Today's the day. Carnage25 says, what about
- 24:29Speaker 2: the Save America Act?
- 24:30Speaker 3: Slow your roll.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I'm going to get there. I'm going to get there.
- 24:32Speaker 7: I promise.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I promise. Love you, Carnage. Thank you for asking.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I'm on board with this too, buddy. We've got a
- 24:37Speaker 1: lot to get to. But let's talk about Virginia right now.
- 24:40Speaker 1: The left is trying to.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Rig the election. They want to steal all these congressional seats.
- 24:43Speaker 2: By now, if you've been following the podcast, you.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Know that what they're trying to do is take a
- 24:49Speaker 1: 6-5 state and turn it into a 10-1 state, Democrats
- 24:52Speaker 1: to Republicans, and they want to do it right now
- 24:54Speaker 1: in the midterms. It is a theft operation. On the
- 24:57Speaker 1: ballot before Virginia voters is a question today. It's a referendum.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Starts today, runs through April 21st. And the question is,
- 25:04Speaker 1: do you want to, quote, restore fairness to elections? Do
- 25:07Speaker 1: you want to restore fairness?
- 25:09Speaker 2: It's a lie. It's misdirection.
- 25:11Speaker 1: It's intentionally meant to confuse the voter into compliance, to
- 25:15Speaker 1: rig the elections in Virginia. The mandate here for any
- 25:19Speaker 1: American who doesn't want to rig elections, who doesn't want
- 25:22Speaker 1: Democrats to steal them, is to vote no. So if
- 25:24Speaker 1: you're in Virginia, vote no. If you're not in Virginia,
- 25:26Speaker 1: tell the guy you know in Virginia to vote no.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Go to the polls, vote no.
- 25:31Speaker 1: And how do you want it? Do you want more
- 25:33Speaker 1: evidence that this is an entirely rigged operation? Look no
- 25:36Speaker 1: further than Barack frickin' Obama coming out yesterday and telling
- 25:41Speaker 1: everybody they need to vote yes on this election rigging operation.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Cut eight.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Here's Barack.
- 25:47Speaker 11: Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy,
- 25:50Speaker 11: but right now they are under threat. Over the past year,
- 25:53Speaker 11: several Republican-controlled states have taken the unprecedented step of redrawing
- 25:58Speaker 11: their congressional maps in the middle of the decade. And
- 26:02Speaker 11: they've done it for a simple reason, to give themselves
- 26:05Speaker 11: an unfair advantage in the midterms this fall.
- 26:08Speaker 1: All right, so there's Obama. Obama's saying vote yes.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Now, of course, you should vote no. You should do
- 26:13Speaker 2: the opposite of what Obama tells you to do.
- 26:16Speaker 1: But the frame up there that Obama's putting forward is,
- 26:19Speaker 1: this is the talking point from the left, that somehow
- 26:22Speaker 1: Republicans started this, so we need to fight back.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Of course, that's a perfect inversion of the truth.
- 26:27Speaker 1: It was Democrats who started this, Democrats who have ill-gotten
- 26:29Speaker 1: seats all across the country, Democrats who've used illegal aliens
- 26:32Speaker 1: to get unearned congressional seats, unearned electoral college votes, Democrats
- 26:36Speaker 1: who through the benefit of the United States Census in 2020,
- 26:39Speaker 1: got seats that they didn't deserve. And meanwhile, Republican states
- 26:43Speaker 1: were undercounted in that United States Census, and they didn't
- 26:46Speaker 1: get the seats that they did deserve. It's a never-ending.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Election rigging operation by the left.
- 26:51Speaker 1: And the balance of the House is tilted way too
- 26:55Speaker 1: far in the direction of the left. It's not in
- 26:57Speaker 1: any way proportional or representative of the people. So in
- 27:01Speaker 1: light of that, what has President Trump been doing? He says, well,
- 27:04Speaker 1: we got to fight back for once. So in Texas,
- 27:06Speaker 1: they did. They tried in Indiana. That failed miserably because
- 27:09Speaker 1: Republicans in Indiana didn't have the testicular fortitude to save
- 27:12Speaker 1: the country. And now in Virginia, they're going for broke.
- 27:15Speaker 1: They're trying to rig it to the point that they
- 27:17Speaker 1: can guarantee victory in the United States House of Representatives
- 27:20Speaker 1: this year. That's Obama doing that. That's an establishment rigging operation.
- 27:25Speaker 1: And then, of course, there's the governor of the state.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I showed you a little bit of this yesterday. Here's
- 27:28Speaker 1: Abigail Spanberger. doing the very thing. Cut nine, same thing
- 27:32Speaker 1: Obama did.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Watch.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Hello.
- 27:34Speaker 12: I'm Governor Abigail Spanberger, and I'm voting yes on Virginia's
- 27:38Speaker 12: redistricting amendment.
- 27:40Speaker 13: Here's why.
- 27:41Speaker 12: I supported the formation of Virginia's bipartisan redistricting commission in 2020,
- 27:46Speaker 12: and that support has not changed.
- 27:48Speaker 7: Yes, it has.
- 27:48Speaker 12: What has changed is what we're seeing in states across
- 27:51Speaker 12: the country, and a president who says that he's, quote,
- 27:54Speaker 12: entitled to more Republican seats before this year's midterms. That's
- 27:59Speaker 12: a direct quote, entitled. And Virginia has the opportunity to
- 28:03Speaker 12: take action in response. And our approach is different. First,
- 28:09Speaker 12: it's temporary.
- 28:10Speaker 1: She's lying. All right, that's enough. So she says it's temporary.
- 28:13Speaker 1: We're only going to do this for one election. Our
- 28:15Speaker 1: tyranny is only going to exist for a single election.
- 28:17Speaker 1: After that, it'll go back to normal.
- 28:19Speaker 6: No, it won't.
- 28:20Speaker 1: No, you'll do this in perpetuity. We have to stop
- 28:23Speaker 1: this while we have the chance. And we can't let
- 28:25Speaker 1: them steal these seats. The former governor of Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, Republican,
- 28:30Speaker 1: he just put a video out last night saying you've
- 28:34Speaker 1: got to vote no on this. And Abigail Spanberger is
- 28:36Speaker 1: a big fat liar.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Watch Glenn Youngkin. Virginia, it's Glenn Youngkin.
- 28:41Speaker 13: Tomorrow is your chance to stop the most partisan power
- 28:44Speaker 13: grab in the history of our Commonwealth. Just six years ago,
- 28:48Speaker 13: two-thirds of Virginians spoke loud and clear when they voted
- 28:51Speaker 13: to make independent, non-partisan redistricting part of our Constitution. Now,
- 28:57Speaker 13: far-left politicians in the Capitol are trying to overturn the
- 29:01Speaker 13: will of the people.
- 29:02Speaker 8: Why?
- 29:03Speaker 13: Because they want more power.
- 29:05Speaker 2: That's it.
- 29:06Speaker 13: They want to disenfranchise millions of Virginians to gain more
- 29:10Speaker 13: power for themselves. All you need to do is look
- 29:13Speaker 13: at the shape of the proposed maps to realize how
- 29:16Speaker 13: shameless they are. In 2020, then Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger said, quote,
- 29:22Speaker 13: gerrymandering is detrimental to our democracy and weakens individual voices.
- 29:29Speaker 13: She said, quote, opposing redistricting should be a bipartisan priority.
- 29:35Speaker 13: And just last year, then candidate Abigail Spanberger promised on
- 29:39Speaker 13: the campaign trail quote, I have no plan to redistrict Virginia.
- 29:44Speaker 13: I agree with Congresswoman and candidate Spanberger.
- 29:48Speaker 1: But I strongly disagree with Congress.
- 29:50Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:50Speaker 1: So there you have it. If you're in Virginia today,
- 29:53Speaker 1: vote no. If you know somebody in Virginia today, tell
- 29:55Speaker 1: them to vote no. And then just keep bugging them.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Have you voted yet?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Have you voted yet? Have you voted yet? Keep asking
- 30:01Speaker 1: until they told you they have. Because if the incentive
- 30:05Speaker 1: to do the right thing isn't enough, maybe the incentive
- 30:07Speaker 1: to get you to stop texting.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Them will be enough. Whatever it takes. We've got to
- 30:11Speaker 2: get this done, ladies and gentlemen.
- 30:13Speaker 1: All right, coming up, I want to talk about the
- 30:14Speaker 1: strikes in Iran, the impacts on the Chai comms. We
- 30:18Speaker 1: have a lot more to address on the program. Gordon
- 30:20Speaker 1: Chang is joining us in just a moment. First, I
- 30:22Speaker 1: want to thank some great sponsors to our show that
- 30:25Speaker 1: make it all possible. Keep all of this free. Bowling
- 30:28Speaker 1: Branch is wonderful. What a great sponsor of our show.
- 30:31Speaker 1: And Bowling Branch helps me sleep so well at night
- 30:33Speaker 1: because my sheets are the most comfortable sheets I've ever owned.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Thank you to my wife, Allison, for having the wisdom
- 30:39Speaker 1: to go with Bowling Branch.
- 30:40Speaker 2: They're great.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Before they were ever a sponsor for this program, we
- 30:44Speaker 1: were Bowling Branch fans, love Bowling Branch. You know, it's
- 30:46Speaker 1: all the little signs on your sheets that you start
- 30:49Speaker 1: ignoring through the years, the corners that pop up every
- 30:51Speaker 1: time you roll over, the scratching feeling that wasn't there
- 30:53Speaker 1: a year ago, waking up hotter than you should.
- 30:55Speaker 2: It all sneaks up on you.
- 30:57Speaker 1: And you usually don't realize how bad your sheets were
- 30:59Speaker 1: until you finally replace them. And if your sheets are
- 31:02Speaker 1: doing this, if they're thinning, if they're slipping, if they're overheating,
- 31:04Speaker 1: that's your sign to upgrade to Bowling Branch. Their signature

- 31:52Speaker 1: I was telling everybody yesterday, I've got a blueberry bush
- 31:55Speaker 1: that's very meager that's not doing that well, and I got...
- 31:58Speaker 1: Fantastic advice from the whole audience, or at least everybody
- 32:00Speaker 1: who understands blueberries. They were like, Vince, you need a
- 32:02Speaker 1: second blueberry bush. You need a pollinator. The blueberries, they
- 32:05Speaker 1: work together.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I was like, oh, I didn't realize that.
- 32:08Speaker 7: Okay.
- 32:08Speaker 1: All right, well, I got to fix that problem, and
- 32:10Speaker 1: I'm doing it with fast-growing trees. You should go with them, too.

- 33:07Speaker 2: my plant advice. It helps a lot.
- 33:10Speaker 10: All right.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Let's talk about an important conflict going on right now.
- 33:13Speaker 1: The United States and Israel are striking with each passing day, Iran,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and they say they're.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Ahead of schedule, debilitating Iran.
- 33:22Speaker 1: All of Iran's defenses and taking out that lunatic terror regime.
- 33:27Speaker 1: For more on the impact, especially to China, I want
- 33:30Speaker 1: to bring in the great Gordon G.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Chang. You can see him on X, at Gordon G.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Chang. Gordon Chang, we saw what happened in Iran. We
- 33:40Speaker 1: saw the strikes on the leadership there. I instantly think
- 33:42Speaker 1: of China as this happens because 90% of Iran's oil
- 33:45Speaker 1: exports go to China.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Tell us about the impact on China.
- 33:51Speaker 3: We know the impact, Vince, because in the last few days,
- 33:54Speaker 3: the price of gasoline has increased 11.0%. But more important
- 33:59Speaker 3: for the Chinese economy, the price of diesel has soared 13.5%.
- 34:05Speaker 3: China last year took 87.2% of Iran's exports of crude oil.
- 34:11Speaker 3: And through the Strait of Hormuz, China gets somewhere between
- 34:15Speaker 3: 40% to 50% of its imported oil. this is really
- 34:19Speaker 3: important because China right now has very little domestic oil production.
- 34:25Speaker 3: And that means it relies on these imports. If they
- 34:28Speaker 3: don't get it from the Gulf, they've got to buy
- 34:30Speaker 3: it from Russia. And by the way, the Russians are
- 34:32Speaker 3: going to charge more.
- 34:34Speaker 7: Yes.
- 34:34Speaker 1: So in other words, like the ability for them to
- 34:37Speaker 1: do anything as an economy is being hamstrung because the
- 34:40Speaker 1: cost of energy directly correlates to how productive you can be.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Right. And there's one other aspect, and that is China's
- 34:47Speaker 3: been buying a lot of discounted oil from places like
- 34:50Speaker 3: Iran and Venezuela. And they've been using the Chinese currency
- 34:54Speaker 3: to do that. Well, if you're buying from Russia, it's
- 34:57Speaker 3: more likely that they're going to have to start paying dollars.
- 35:00Speaker 3: And if they buy more on the open market, they're
- 35:03Speaker 3: certainly paying dollars. And China doesn't want to do that.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Well, the problem.
- 35:08Speaker 1: It seems to me that the primary exports of these countries,
- 35:11Speaker 1: these terror regimes like Venezuela under Maduro and under Khamenei
- 35:16Speaker 1: in Iran.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Has been oil.
- 35:19Speaker 1: And then they use the revenue from that oil to
- 35:22Speaker 1: pay for terrorism. So in Venezuela, it's in the form
- 35:25Speaker 1: of narco-terrorism. In Iran, it's in the form of actual
- 35:29Speaker 1: Islamist terrorism. And those revenue streams being cut off must
- 35:36Speaker 1: have a huge benefit to try and bring down the
- 35:39Speaker 1: temperature on the planet.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Yes. And that's important because once we take Iran off
- 35:44Speaker 3: the table, then the Middle East actually has a chance
- 35:47Speaker 3: for enduring peace. You have President Trump's Abraham Accords of
- 35:51Speaker 3: the first term. Those can be extended, especially to Saudi Arabia,
- 35:55Speaker 3: if we can get that sorted out. And that will
- 35:58Speaker 3: be the way for peace in that extremely troubled region.
- 36:03Speaker 3: So You can be optimistic once President Trump takes down
- 36:07Speaker 3: the Ayatollah's regime. Okay.
- 36:10Speaker 1: What is China doing right now, if anything, to assist
- 36:14Speaker 1: Iran in this conflict?
- 36:16Speaker 3: China has been supplying intelligence, and they've been doing that
- 36:20Speaker 3: clearly in open sources because they've been publishing the location
- 36:25Speaker 3: and showing the Iranians the location of American military assets.
- 36:30Speaker 3: They're probably also doing it surreptitiously, as the Russians have
- 36:34Speaker 3: been doing surreptitiously. So that's important. But also, we know
- 36:37Speaker 3: that China's been supplying the components for Iran's weapons. Iran
- 36:42Speaker 3: makes virtually no semiconductors. They get all of those chips
- 36:46Speaker 3: for their drones and other weapons from China. China supplies
- 36:50Speaker 3: the components for ballistic missile fuel. And we know that
- 36:55Speaker 3: China has the components for North Korea's Hwasong-15. The reason
- 37:00Speaker 3: why that's important, Vince, is that the Hwasong-15 is an
- 37:03Speaker 3: intercontinental ballistic missile. It has a range of 12,000 kilometers.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Fired from Iranian soil, it can hit any part of
- 37:12Speaker 3: the United States. We don't know if the Iranians have
- 37:16Speaker 3: been able to put those components together, but they have
- 37:18Speaker 3: it all there, which means that this has become an
- 37:22Speaker 3: imminent war. People say, oh, you know, why did we
- 37:25Speaker 3: need to strike Iran now? Well, we needed to strike
- 37:27Speaker 3: Iran now because they have highly enriched uranium, very close
- 37:31Speaker 3: to weapons grade, and they have a ballistic missile that
- 37:34Speaker 3: can deliver it to, you know, your favorite city in
- 37:37Speaker 3: the United States.
- 37:39Speaker 1: What have we learned about the quality of Chinese military
- 37:41Speaker 1: technology in this conflict? I've seen some claims that it's
- 37:47Speaker 1: been poorly performing against American weapons systems.
- 37:51Speaker 2: What is your assessment?
- 37:54Speaker 3: The assessment so far, and this will not be definitive
- 38:00Speaker 3: until long after this war is over, but so far
- 38:03Speaker 3: we know that it hasn't worked because Right now, America
- 38:08Speaker 3: and Israel have control of the skies. You know, go
- 38:12Speaker 3: back to January 3rd. Venezuela had an export version of
- 38:16Speaker 3: China's radars and integrated command system, and they somehow didn't
- 38:20Speaker 3: see more than 150 American aircraft in or near Venezuelan airspace. Well,
- 38:26Speaker 3: the story is really true for Iran as well. I
- 38:30Speaker 3: sort of assumed that in the interim, after Venezuela and
- 38:34Speaker 3: before Saturday's attack, that China supplied more advanced versions of
- 38:39Speaker 3: its radars. But obviously, that didn't help because American stealth
- 38:44Speaker 3: and American tactics were able to neutralize Iran's air defenses.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Do you think China is all in on Iran right now?
- 38:53Speaker 1: Or does China believe that Iran is going to lose
- 38:56Speaker 1: this conflict? So they're kind of giving them, I don't know,
- 38:59Speaker 1: I don't know how else to put this, a half-assed effort.
- 39:03Speaker 3: China hasn't supplied soldiers. So it's not, I guess you
- 39:06Speaker 3: can say it's not all in. But apart from that,
- 39:09Speaker 3: it's all in. And yeah, I think the Chinese understand
- 39:14Speaker 3: that they're going to lose Iran. unless they can intimidate
- 39:18Speaker 3: President Trump into not continuing the airstrikes. The whole issue
- 39:22Speaker 3: is gonna be what passes through the Strait of Hormuz.
- 39:26Speaker 3: And if you have, for instance, all of these hundreds
- 39:29Speaker 3: of ships trapped on both sides of the Strait, if
- 39:32Speaker 3: they can't get through, there's going to be a lot
- 39:34Speaker 3: of pressure on the Oval Office. But I hope President
- 39:37Speaker 3: Trump actually resists that, because this is really the battlefield
- 39:41Speaker 3: for the world right now. We win in Iran, which
- 39:44Speaker 3: we can. It's within our control. We have enduring peace
- 39:48Speaker 3: throughout the globe.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Is there a scenario where China starts buying a lot
- 39:54Speaker 1: more American energy to make up for the shortfalls of
- 39:56Speaker 1: not having access to Venezuela and Iran?
- 39:59Speaker 3: Yes. They have been buying American LNG, for instance, in
- 40:03Speaker 3: the past, but they've been diverting those cargoes to Europe.
- 40:08Speaker 3: And so they have been taking very much in the
- 40:10Speaker 3: way of American energy. That could very well change if
- 40:14Speaker 3: you have a desperate China. But more important, we need
- 40:18Speaker 3: to sell to our friends because Japan, South Korea, Taiwan,
- 40:22Speaker 3: for instance, are even more dependent on China than oil
- 40:26Speaker 3: coming out of the Strait of Hormuz. And we need
- 40:29Speaker 3: to support them before we support China.
- 40:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Okay. What else should we be on guard for as
- 40:35Speaker 2: it relates to China right now?
- 40:38Speaker 3: Well, people talk about Taiwan because people say, well, the
- 40:43Speaker 3: United States is tied down, bogged down, whatever word you
- 40:46Speaker 3: want to use in the Middle East. And so they'll
- 40:48Speaker 3: go after Taiwan. I don't think that's the case. And
- 40:51Speaker 3: the reason is that the Chinese military right now is
- 40:55Speaker 3: incapable of launching hostilities against the main island of Taiwan
- 41:00Speaker 3: because the chain of command has been severed because of
- 41:02Speaker 3: Xi Jinping's relentless purges, which has left the top of
- 41:06Speaker 3: the Chinese military decimated. So, for instance, on the Communist
- 41:10Speaker 3: Party Central Military Commission, which controls the military, there's only
- 41:14Speaker 3: two of seven members now. One is Xi Jinping and
- 41:16Speaker 3: the other is a political commissar. which means there are
- 41:19Speaker 3: no operational officers on the Central Military Commission. That means
- 41:24Speaker 3: you've got a military that really can't start a war.
- 41:27Speaker 3: It can stumble into a war, and the chance of
- 41:30Speaker 3: that is actually quite high, Vince, but it can't start one.
- 41:34Speaker 1: You know, I wonder also what you think the Chinese
- 41:37Speaker 1: leadership thinks of President Trump now and his resolve, because
- 41:41Speaker 1: there's lots of American presidents who pay lip service to
- 41:44Speaker 1: the kinds of things they might do if red lines,
- 41:47Speaker 1: for instance, are crossed. President Trump has demonstrated through the
- 41:50Speaker 1: course of especially the conflicts in Venezuela and now Iran
- 41:54Speaker 1: that he means what he says, that he said, like,
- 41:56Speaker 1: if you don't play ball with him, he is going in,
- 41:58Speaker 1: he will grab you, he will kill you, whatever it
- 42:00Speaker 1: is he needs to do to advance American foreign policy.
- 42:03Speaker 1: What's the message you think the Chinese are deriving about
- 42:06Speaker 1: President Trump's resolve?
- 42:08Speaker 3: 2026 was a good year for us because the Chinese
- 42:13Speaker 3: now respect President Trump. We know that in 2025 and
- 42:16Speaker 3: earlier years, They really did not respect him. They pushed
- 42:21Speaker 3: him around and they were chortling. They were telling everybody, oh,
- 42:24Speaker 3: you know, the United States is in terminal decline. Trump is,
- 42:29Speaker 3: you know, not a factor. Now they don't say that
- 42:33Speaker 3: anymore from what we can tell. But also just thinking
- 42:36Speaker 3: about it, since Trump has taken Venezuela off the board,
- 42:39Speaker 3: is going to take Cuba off the board and is
- 42:42Speaker 3: beating the crap out of Iran. I think the Chinese
- 42:45Speaker 3: now respect Trump. And one thing, Vince, Trump wants to
- 42:49Speaker 3: go to Beijing, and I don't think he should go
- 42:51Speaker 3: right now because the Chinese are killing Americans, in effect,
- 42:54Speaker 3: in Iran. But I don't think the Chinese want Trump
- 42:57Speaker 3: in Iran, in Beijing, because they don't want this victorious,
- 43:04Speaker 3: triumphant guy tramping around their capital. There's been a real
- 43:10Speaker 3: stark change in the way the Chinese view Trump. And
- 43:12Speaker 3: this is really good for the United States.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Yes. I mean, you're right, though. It's like the president
- 43:17Speaker 1: goes around the world. He kicks out their power cords
- 43:19Speaker 1: all over the place. And then they welcome him like
- 43:21Speaker 1: a hero in their own country.
- 43:23Speaker 2: That would be a big deal.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Yeah. So this is very, very good for us right now. Amazing.
- 43:30Speaker 1: All right. Gordon Chang is always available at Gordon G
- 43:33Speaker 1: Chang on X.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Sir, thank you for your wisdom as always. Nice to
- 43:36Speaker 2: talk to you today.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Oh, well, thanks so much, Vincent. Stay safe.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Thank you very much. There he is, Gordon Chang. I've
- 43:41Speaker 1: been eager to talk to Gordon all week. Glad we
- 43:43Speaker 1: could get him to stop by because what a big
- 43:46Speaker 1: impact on China. And what an underappreciated but deeply important
- 43:51Speaker 1: component to this whole story about what's going on in
- 43:54Speaker 1: Iran right now. Thank you to Gordon Chang for helping
- 43:57Speaker 1: us understand it. All right. There are other things that
- 44:01Speaker 1: I want to hit with you today as well. We
- 44:04Speaker 1: talked about the SAVE Act. We've been talking about the
- 44:07Speaker 1: SAVE Act. We never stopped talking about the SAVE Act,
- 44:09Speaker 1: in fact, because we're like the entire opening force, the
- 44:14Speaker 1: seminal force for getting the SAVE Act passed in terms
- 44:16Speaker 1: of the media. We've been on this thing for a
- 44:18Speaker 1: very long time, including getting these senators to actually take
- 44:21Speaker 1: the floor to mount a talking filibuster. So what do
- 44:26Speaker 1: we have as it relates to the SAVE Act? Well,
- 44:28Speaker 1: we got a couple of updates on the SAVE Act
- 44:31Speaker 1: this week. which is, one, that Texas Senate race, which
- 44:35Speaker 1: is very, very interesting what's going on. John Cornyn, Ken Paxton,
- 44:40Speaker 1: the final two guys are in the runoff right now.
- 44:42Speaker 1: We were talking about this at length yesterday. President Trump
- 44:46Speaker 1: made a big jump into that race by saying he's
- 44:48Speaker 1: going to make an endorsement.
- 44:49Speaker 2: The other guy needs to get out.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Now, Ken Paxton was asked about this two nights ago
- 44:55Speaker 1: by Just the News, like, hey, if President Trump endorses Cornyn,
- 44:59Speaker 1: which is what all the the public reporting suggests is
- 45:02Speaker 1: going to happen. If President Trump endorses John Cornyn, the incumbent,
- 45:06Speaker 1: the establishment Republican, will you get out of the race
- 45:09Speaker 1: or are you staying in? And here's what Ken Paxton
- 45:11Speaker 1: said to John Solomon this week.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Cut 11, watch.
- 45:14Speaker 10: No, I'm staying in this race. I owe it to
- 45:16Speaker 10: the people of Texas. I've spent a year of my
- 45:18Speaker 10: life campaigning against John Cornyn because John has not represented
- 45:24Speaker 10: the people of Texas well. He sided with Joe Biden
- 45:26Speaker 10: on the second amendment restriction. He sided with Joe Biden
- 45:28Speaker 10: on bringing Afghan refugees to settle here without vetting them.
- 45:32Speaker 10: But he's been against Trump in both of his elections,
- 45:34Speaker 10: said he shouldn't run last time. His day had passed.
- 45:37Speaker 10: And of course, he fought him on the border wall.
- 45:39Speaker 10: He's been an amnesty guy. Everything that Trump stood for,
- 45:43Speaker 10: John Cornyn's fought. But he wasn't being helped by Joe Biden.
- 45:46Speaker 10: The people of Texas, at least the Republicans, would like
- 45:49Speaker 10: something different.
- 45:49Speaker 2: All right.
- 45:50Speaker 1: So Paxton says, I'm staying in the race.
- 45:53Speaker 2: I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying. The president hears this
- 45:55Speaker 2: and he responds to it.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Here's how that went. The president yesterday in a conversation
- 45:59Speaker 1: with Politico said, that's bad. That's bad for him to say.
- 46:03Speaker 1: President Trump, Politico reported, appears to be leaning towards endorsing
- 46:08Speaker 1: John Cornyn in the Texas GOP primary, issuing a stark
- 46:13Speaker 1: warning to Ken Paxton in an interview with Politico. The president,
- 46:17Speaker 1: of course, did say that he's going to be making
- 46:19Speaker 1: his decision pretty soon. And then when told that Paxton
- 46:23Speaker 1: had just told us the news that he's not dropping out,
- 46:26Speaker 1: even if Trump endorses Cornyn, the president responded, well, that's
- 46:30Speaker 1: bad for him to say.
- 46:31Speaker 2: That is bad for him. So maybe, maybe that leads
- 46:35Speaker 2: me to go the other direction, suggesting that perhaps Paxton's
- 46:40Speaker 2: remarks are pushing him in the direction of Cornyn. Is
- 46:44Speaker 2: that what's happening here?
- 46:45Speaker 1: Well, whatever the president's intentions here is, Ken Paxton added
- 46:50Speaker 1: a wonderful addition to this story yesterday. He said, I'll
- 46:54Speaker 1: tell you what, you want me to leave this race?
- 46:58Speaker 1: You want me to drop out? I'll do it under
- 47:02Speaker 1: one gigantic condition. Give us the SAVE Act. Here's what
- 47:08Speaker 1: Ken Paxton said yesterday. The SAVE America Act is the
- 47:12Speaker 1: most important bill the United States Senate could ever pass.
- 47:16Speaker 1: And I'm committed to helping President Trump get it done.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I would consider dropping out of this race if Senate
- 47:25Speaker 1: leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and passes the Save
- 47:31Speaker 1: America Act. John Cornyn is a coward who has refused
- 47:36Speaker 1: to support abolishing the filibuster to pass this bill. Now,
- 47:41Speaker 1: fake news reporters in the establishment are trying to destroy
- 47:43Speaker 1: me with misinformation.
- 47:45Speaker 2: The truth is clear.
- 47:47Speaker 1: No one has been more loyal to Donald Trump than me,
- 47:49Speaker 1: fighting the stolen 2020 election, being in Mar-a-Lago when he
- 47:54Speaker 1: announced his 2024 campaign, and standing with him in New
- 47:56Speaker 1: York in the face of lawfare. For the good of
- 47:59Speaker 1: our country and for the good of passing President Trump's agenda,
- 48:02Speaker 1: I am determined to help him get this done. Look,
- 48:08Speaker 1: let me tell you about the master stroke you're witnessing
- 48:10Speaker 1: here from Ken Paxton. He's saying, look, I don't have
- 48:13Speaker 1: to be a problem for you guys. I don't have
- 48:14Speaker 1: to be a problem for President Trump making an endorsement.
- 48:16Speaker 1: I don't have to be a problem for John Cornyn.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I could make this real easy for everybody. And here's
- 48:21Speaker 1: how I'm going to make it easy. I'm putting an
- 48:22Speaker 1: offer on the table for you. You pass the SAVE Act,
- 48:26Speaker 1: I'm out of your hair.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Then, okay, fine.
- 48:28Speaker 1: John Cornyn, the establishment guy, he can be the nominee.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Then Texans can go and, if necessary, hold their nose,
- 48:34Speaker 1: vote for the guy. But if you get the SAVE
- 48:35Speaker 1: America Act passed, it's not just one Texas Senate race
- 48:39Speaker 1: that's impacted. It's every race in the whole country. We
- 48:43Speaker 1: get integrity. We get credibility to our elections across the
- 48:47Speaker 1: whole country. Only Americans are registered to vote. You have
- 48:50Speaker 1: to show ID in every state. I don't care how
- 48:53Speaker 1: blue and Democrat and demented it is. You've got to
- 48:55Speaker 1: show ID to vote. You've got to show ID when
- 48:57Speaker 1: you send in an absentee ballot under the limited circumstances
- 49:00Speaker 1: that'll even be possible to do. We clean up the
- 49:04Speaker 1: voter rolls. We get rid of non-citizens. We get the
- 49:06Speaker 1: dead people off the rolls. We make it so that
- 49:08Speaker 1: Americans can trust their elections at every level all across
- 49:12Speaker 1: the country. You do that, yeah, I'd be willing to
- 49:15Speaker 1: drop out. Paxton's throwing down. This is a great and
- 49:20Speaker 1: important move. So what's Cornyn going to do with all
- 49:22Speaker 1: of this? Now, here's the sequence of events that I'd
- 49:26Speaker 1: like to see insofar as any of this plays out.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Here's the sequence of events I'd like to see. Get
- 49:30Speaker 1: the SAVE Act passed first. You do that first. Do
- 49:35Speaker 1: it right now. Get it going. And then, If that happens,
- 49:41Speaker 1: then we see Ken Paxton say, OK, mission accomplished. I'm out.
- 49:45Speaker 11: I'm out.
- 49:46Speaker 2: You did it. Thank you.
- 49:48Speaker 1: But until that happens, I don't want to see him duck.
- 49:50Speaker 1: And I don't want like false promises. I don't want
- 49:52Speaker 1: people telling the president they're actually going to do it
- 49:54Speaker 1: when they don't intend to actually do it.
- 49:56Speaker 2: I don't want any of that. Republicans are constantly trying
- 49:59Speaker 2: to pull.
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'm talking about establishment Republicans in leadership have constantly been
- 50:03Speaker 1: trying to pull the wool over President Trump's eyes, constantly
- 50:07Speaker 1: trying to mislead him.
- 50:08Speaker 2: About what they want to do.
- 50:10Speaker 1: And the president, I think by now, he's had enough
- 50:13Speaker 1: of that crap. He wants actual commitment. He wants actual commitment.
- 50:18Speaker 1: So yesterday, President Trump was posting about the SAVE Act.
- 50:22Speaker 1: And he posted two iterations of the same.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Post to Truth Social.
- 50:26Speaker 1: And I thought this was interesting because you want to
- 50:29Speaker 1: know how much the president pays attention to the base?
- 50:31Speaker 2: Look at this. Let me show you a perfect example
- 50:33Speaker 2: of this.
- 50:34Speaker 1: And the base all wants Ken Paxton, by the way.
- 50:36Speaker 1: The whole base is telling President Trump, endorse Ken Paxton,
- 50:39Speaker 1: endorse Ken Paxton on Truth Social.
- 50:42Speaker 2: So here's what happened yesterday. The president goes to Truth
- 50:45Speaker 2: Social and.
- 50:46Speaker 1: He posts early in the day that he wants the
- 50:49Speaker 1: Save America Act and he wants it with five components.
- 50:52Speaker 2: You ready for this? Watch this.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Five components. He says, the Save America Act, all voters
- 50:58Speaker 1: must show voter ID. All voters must show proof of
- 51:02Speaker 1: citizenship in order to vote. no mail-in ballots except for illness, disability, military,
- 51:07Speaker 1: or travel, no men and women's sports, no transgender mutilation
- 51:11Speaker 1: surgery for children without the express written approval of the parents.
- 51:20Speaker 1: You see what happened in that fifth item?
- 51:23Speaker 2: That fifth item is no good. That fifth item is
- 51:25Speaker 2: no good.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I saw that yesterday and I was like, look, I
- 51:27Speaker 1: support everything in here except for that fifth item. That
- 51:29Speaker 1: fifth item, no transgender mutilation surgery without the express written
- 51:33Speaker 1: approval of the parents. I'm sorry, I don't care if
- 51:36Speaker 1: a parent writes a note that says you can mutilate
- 51:39Speaker 1: my child. Abuse is not on the menu. That's not
- 51:43Speaker 1: on the menu.
- 51:44Speaker 2: You're abusing a child?
- 51:45Speaker 1: To hell with you. So when the president puts that
- 51:48Speaker 1: qualification on number five, I paused, I saw this yesterday.
- 51:52Speaker 2: We said this on the radio show yesterday.
- 51:53Speaker 1: I was like, I'm with you on all of this,
- 51:55Speaker 1: except for that whole thing about parents can mutilate the
- 51:57Speaker 1: kids with their permission. No, they can't do that either.
- 52:00Speaker 1: So what happened?
- 52:01Speaker 2: Well, you responded to this. I responded.
- 52:04Speaker 1: The whole base went crazy about this.
- 52:06Speaker 3: We're like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Number five, not going to work for me. So you
- 52:09Speaker 1: know what the president did? He deleted the true social
- 52:12Speaker 1: post and he replaced it. And number five has been modified.
- 52:16Speaker 1: Now it just says no transgender mutilation surgery for children.
- 52:23Speaker 2: This dude listens.
- 52:25Speaker 1: He listens. That's all I'm saying. So if you want
- 52:28Speaker 1: the president to endorse Ken Paxton, even at this hour,
- 52:32Speaker 1: at Friday, 8.55 a.m. Eastern time, at this hour, he
- 52:35Speaker 1: has not made an endorsement yet. Just keep telling him
- 52:38Speaker 1: you want Ken Paxton.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Just tell him. It'd be an easier thing.
- 52:41Speaker 1: I don't know what's going to happen when Mark Wayne
- 52:43Speaker 1: Mullen leaves the Senate. I don't know what's going to
- 52:46Speaker 1: happen to the whip count on the Save America Act.
- 52:49Speaker 1: I can't predict the future. All I can tell you
- 52:53Speaker 1: is that we're in a dicey situation right now, and
- 52:56Speaker 1: I'd like to navigate out of it by getting good,
- 52:58Speaker 1: competent legislation passed. If Ken Paxton can use leverage right
- 53:02Speaker 1: now to get the Save America Act passed, he will
- 53:04Speaker 1: be a hero in my eyes, just a complete hero
- 53:07Speaker 1: for what he did to save our country. Ken is
- 53:09Speaker 1: throwing it, is throwing down in such a consequential way.
- 53:13Speaker 1: And the president should use this as leverage.
- 53:16Speaker 2: My guess is he is using it as leverage. that
- 53:18Speaker 2: he's trying to get John Cornyn and John Thune to
- 53:20Speaker 2: play ball. And why wouldn't he? This is the perfect opportunity.
- 53:23Speaker 1: If Thune is going to President Trump right now and
- 53:25Speaker 1: begging for a Cornyn endorsement, then the president can say,
- 53:28Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, that happens under this circumstance.
- 53:31Speaker 2: You give me the SAVE Act. You actually do it.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Not a show vote, not a, oh, we tried, but
- 53:36Speaker 1: Democrats got in the way, so we couldn't take it on. No,
- 53:39Speaker 1: I want a full-blown talking filibuster fight on the Senate
- 53:42Speaker 1: floor for the American people to see complete with an
- 53:46Speaker 1: actual passage of the SAVE Act.
- 53:48Speaker 2: You give me that, I give you Cornyn. That's the
- 53:52Speaker 2: art of the deal, baby. That's the art of the deal.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Let's see what happens.
- 53:55Speaker 1: We've got to keep our eyes on that. I want
- 53:58Speaker 1: to end today with one of the big hoaxes of
- 54:00Speaker 1: the week. We got the left advancing in another hoax
- 54:02Speaker 1: this week. A claim that the Justice Department has abandoned.
- 54:07Speaker 2: The Autopen investigation, that it's over. There's no Autopen investigation anymore,
- 54:12Speaker 2: the New York Times claims.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Justice Department, under pressure from Trump, fails to build auto
- 54:18Speaker 1: pen case against Biden. You know what we're talking about here.
- 54:20Speaker 1: It's the non-compass mentis president. They had a robot running
- 54:25Speaker 1: the entire administration, you know, Susan Rice and company and whatever,
- 54:29Speaker 1: just like just pulling the trigger and signing legislation, executive orders,
- 54:33Speaker 1: signing pardons. The New York Times claims the Justice Department,
- 54:36Speaker 1: after calls by President Trump to investigate former President Joseph R.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Biden Jr.
- 54:41Speaker 2: scrutinize whether Mr. Biden and his aides broke the law
- 54:44Speaker 2: in using the auto pen.
- 54:45Speaker 1: First of all, Biden, if Biden is non-compos mentis, meaning
- 54:50Speaker 1: he is not of sound mind, that he can't tell
- 54:52Speaker 1: people to use the pen, how is it that Biden
- 54:54Speaker 1: is the one breaking the law? You absolute morons. Biden,
- 54:58Speaker 1: we can catch him on all sorts of things. But
- 55:00Speaker 1: if the idea is that he's a vegetable and the
- 55:02Speaker 1: people around him are exploiting the auto pen to pretend
- 55:05Speaker 1: to be him, they're the ones implicated in the law breaking.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Whether Mr. Biden and his aides broke the law.
- 55:11Speaker 1: The New York Times doesn't even know how this story goes.
- 55:16Speaker 1: It was ultimately unable to move forward with making a case,
- 55:19Speaker 1: the Times says. According to three people briefed on the matter,
- 55:22Speaker 1: the department's failure to build a criminal case against Mr.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Biden and his aides, they once again get this wrong,
- 55:27Speaker 1: is the latest example of its increasing inability to follow
- 55:31Speaker 1: through on Mr. Trump's demands and bring indictments against those
- 55:34Speaker 1: he wants to be criminally targeted. So this is the
- 55:36Speaker 1: New York Times claiming something to.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Be true The investigation is dead. And then doing a
- 55:40Speaker 2: victory lap on the thing that they claimed to be true.
- 55:43Speaker 2: So what is true?
- 55:46Speaker 1: Is that true? Well, here's an encouraging little post by
- 55:50Speaker 1: Janine Pirro. She's the Senate confirmed U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Look at this post and you tell me if you
- 55:58Speaker 1: can read between the lines on it.
- 55:59Speaker 10: You ready?
- 56:01Speaker 2: We cannot comment on ongoing investigations.
- 56:10Speaker 1: We cannot....
- 56:15Speaker 3: What was the.
- 56:15Speaker 2: What's that?
- 56:16Speaker 3: What is that?
- 56:17Speaker 2: What are these words? We cannot comment on ongoing investigations.
- 56:29Speaker 2: That's fun. She can't comment, you see, on the ongoing investigation.
- 56:35Speaker 2: That's fun. I like that. I like that a lot.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Jake Gibson is a producer over at Fox. He's got
- 56:42Speaker 1: this too. He adds some more color. New, a senior
- 56:46Speaker 1: DOJ official tells us the auto pen investigation is ongoing.
- 56:50Speaker 2: It's not closed.
- 56:51Speaker 1: They added that investigators are looking at the last couple
- 56:53Speaker 1: of months of the Biden administration, specifically pardons and commutations.
- 56:57Speaker 1: This official also points out that the use of the
- 56:59Speaker 1: auto pen by a sitting president is established law. The
- 57:03Speaker 1: issue is whether it was used in violation of the law.
- 57:06Speaker 1: as in, did President Biden actually bless every single name
- 57:10Speaker 1: on any list of pardons or commutations? It's also clear
- 57:13Speaker 1: that the target of any potential prosecution would not be
- 57:16Speaker 1: former President Biden himself. Yeah, for the reasons I just mentioned,
- 57:19Speaker 1: because if he's the vegetable, everybody else is breaking the
- 57:22Speaker 1: law by pretending to be president. Quote, it's hard to
- 57:25Speaker 1: imagine how Biden could be criminally liable for pardon power,
- 57:27Speaker 1: said the senior DOJ official, describing that power as basically limitless.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Yeah, again, that.
- 57:33Speaker 1: We could just keep explaining this, but that's the point.
- 57:35Speaker 1: It's about the people who didn't have the right to
- 57:38Speaker 1: pretend to be president using presidential powers.
- 57:42Speaker 2: And there you go.
- 57:44Speaker 4: That's it.
- 57:45Speaker 2: That's it.
- 57:45Speaker 1: So it is ongoing, Fox reports, and a huge, obvious,
- 57:51Speaker 1: rub a highlighter on it, hint from Jeanine Pirro that
- 57:54Speaker 1: the investigation is ongoing, contrary to what the old gray
- 57:58Speaker 1: lady wants you to believe over at the New York Times.
- 58:00Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 58:01Speaker 3: Okay.
- 58:02Speaker 1: At any rate, It has been great to be with
- 58:03Speaker 1: you today. Another jam-packed show. We've got another one for

- 59:58Speaker 8: I'm on the ballot. Why is he saying that? You
