- 0:00For a reason and a way to bless us. Amen?
- 0:05I thought y'all liked that. Let's pray. Father, we thank you so much that your word is true.
- 0:10I thank you, God, that as we seek for a way to know you more,
- 0:15seek diligently a way to find you more,
- 0:18that you are building a relationship with us that is much bigger than we have
- 0:24known last week or the week before that, but it's getting even bigger as we go forward with you.
- 0:29So I thank you, Father, that as we sow into your ministry, as we seek after
- 0:34your lost people, as we find new ways to know who you are, that you are rewarding
- 0:40us diligently according to your word.
- 0:42We thank you, God, that it has multiplied back to us.
- 0:46And like we said last week, Father, I thank you, God, that every seed's sown according, well,
- 0:52every seed sown towards this revival coming up and any future revivals or outreaches,
- 0:59God, I thank you, God, that every dollar, there is a,
- 1:02soul tied to every single dollar.
- 1:05So as we sow, it comes back to us, but we can just make sure that that means
- 1:11that we can do it over and over and over again, and we'll never,
- 1:15ever, ever run out in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
- 1:22Before we start, I'm going to give people online a chance to give, but I want Darius,
- 1:31Come up here and share what you shared about. There was someone out on YouTube,
- 1:34right? Come up here and share with you and on the camera.
- 1:37I'm going to lower it a little bit. Come up here, right here,
- 1:39with your big old boots, and look in the camera, and share what you were telling
- 1:43about tithing and what's been happening with the money left over.
- 1:47There you go. All right, everybody. So ever since we've been coming to church,
- 1:51me and my wife, she's tithed religiously 10% every week. And I've seen the good things happen to her.
- 1:59And as long as I can remember I've given like $20 a year or there whatever I
- 2:04can afford and even when I didn't think I had it,
- 2:08sometimes I wouldn't give it and I'd feel really bad about it and I'd see all
- 2:11the good things happen in her life and ever since I've been doing it with her,
- 2:16I can't tell you the amount of good things that have happened to us we've got,
- 2:19free vehicles we've got blessed with things,
- 2:24that we've never seen before and it's all because,
- 2:28it's just a beautiful thing even growing up i lost my father he would he would
- 2:33sometimes here and there and then the times that he did 10 or war or just felt
- 2:39like he needed to give the church a blessing,
- 2:42he received like a multi-thousand dollar job you know something something that
- 2:47will bless us as a family and uh yeah i just encourage you even if you think
- 2:52you don't have it he'll give it back to you tenfold.
- 3:01So thank you I decided to do a fast this week too you're fasting praise God
- 3:05well that's good it's going to go online with the prayer Kenny why don't you
- 3:08come up real quick too the reason why I want to share this before we you know
- 3:12people give is because obviously we're going into Michigan and your
- 3:15your money can be tied to a soul,
- 3:18and so I'll just share a little bit what's on your heart but then I also want
- 3:22you to tell them what happened work with Josiah how you just pray for stuff when stuff happens.
- 3:28So I guess it's been about eight, nine months that I faithfully started tithing.
- 3:34This time last year, my wife was working with her dad. And then since he got
- 3:38sick, she's not working.
- 3:41And money was tight. And then I would tithe every once in a while.
- 3:45But then I finally made the decision that if I truly believe in this thing,
- 3:49then I need to fully commit to it.
- 3:51So I started faithfully sending in my tithe each week. And she's not working.
- 3:55And my bank account has just doubled.
- 3:59Like, all my bills were paid last week and, you know, I still have plenty of money left over.
- 4:04The trip to Michigan, we were believing to rent a vehicle and my mother just
- 4:10gave me a vehicle to take and she paid for the insurance for us to go.
- 4:14So everybody's licensed, insured and everything and just a free ride.
- 4:19And as far as Josiah, it's funny because every once in a while I'll go to work
- 4:25and tell what God's done. And so when my mom gave me the van,
- 4:29I pulled up in this new van, and he's like, bro, how do you keep getting all this stuff?
- 4:34I'm like, man, I tithe, and I'm telling you, I'm the Lord's favorite.
- 4:37I know that's how I can bring it to me, but I feel that way.
- 4:42I really do, because I've never...
- 4:45Since I've been homeless and God gave me my house, I've never had a lake bill.
- 4:49I've never had to worry about where my next meal is coming from.
- 4:52I've never had to worry about gas to get back and forth to work.
- 4:57Like the struggles that I had five years ago, so far away from that.
- 5:02It's just, it's unbelievable how blessed just 10% sent into the church is.
- 5:09Great. So good. Thank you, Kenny. Glory to God.
- 5:12And so, you know, it's important to know that you're not, that the money is not about the money.
- 5:18God said, if I can't trust you with something as small as mammon,
- 5:22he's talking about money, how can I trust you with true riches?
- 5:25Do you all know what true riches are when God talks about a true riches? What is it?
- 5:29It's gifts in the spirit. It's healing and miracles and signs.
- 5:32Those are the true riches because money, you're not going to need that up in
- 5:35heaven. So money here is just temporary.
- 5:37And what God's saying is because he works on a partnership, it.
- 5:41I mean, who better than to go into business with than God? It's God's business. It's soul.
- 5:46And so I know you might be thinking, well, I tithe. I didn't see stuff yet.
- 5:49Well, keep tithing. Keep giving.
- 5:51You know, the Bible talks about when a cloud fills up with rain.
- 5:55Well, when Chad and I, you know, and again, maybe our mouth wasn't always 100%
- 5:59right. But when Chad and I were in Vegas, you know, we faithfully tithed no matter what.
- 6:04And honestly, if I would, let me tell you something And that's a key.
- 6:08Don't just tithe and complain.
- 6:10Complaining just really robs you of all kinds of blood. Well, this didn't happen yet.
- 6:15When you complain, you can't see the blessing of God.
- 6:18So I remember one time I was kind of fussing, which I've been known to do from time to time.
- 6:24I was kind of fussing at God about something. And I'm like, oh,
- 6:27you know, I'm believing for this.
- 6:29And God, I don't see this yet. And I asked you for this. And he said,
- 6:32Lisa, what do you think this big blessing that just poured out on you guys?
- 6:36Where do you think that came from? It was like I didn't see it. You know what I mean?
- 6:40And sometimes God will do something for you and you don't even realize he did
- 6:44it because you're complaining.
- 6:46So just know that.
- 6:50The devil does. And I meant to have Kenny share this with you.
- 6:53He could say it better than me. But the thing that's interesting about Kenny
- 6:56is he's been in this church for quite some time. Now is it four years, right? Or so?
- 7:00December 24th, five years. That's awesome. Five years.
- 7:05And so, obviously, we're not like the Mormon church. We're not going to say,
- 7:10hey, I'm looking at your stuff and you're not tithing. We just let people figure it out.
- 7:14But he was struggling. It was not stupid. We can see.
- 7:18But I never was going to say, hey, what's your problem? How come,
- 7:21you know, God bless you, Jake? You know, figure it out.
- 7:24And so then when he started tithing, that's when I asked, I said,
- 7:27hey, can I ask you why? Because he sits under Chad all the time.
- 7:32And he just said, it was just hard because you felt like you weren't going to
- 7:36have enough, right? And that's what everybody thinks.
- 7:39But how will you ever know if God will provide if we don't do what he says? The very simple thing.
- 7:44And so that's what Chad and I have determined to do. Like even with the Michigan
- 7:47revival, you know, it's paid in full.
- 7:49Thank God. and we've got money for prizes, okay, whatever. And I believe this
- 7:52time I'm gonna find a way that I'll even have money left over.
- 7:55That's what I'm believing for. But in the interim, I took some of our money
- 8:00and I gave it to another ministry.
- 8:03We need it, but I'm like, but I need to sow it. So I have to practice the same
- 8:07thing, both personally, like Chad gives personally, he tithes personally.
- 8:12I tithe off whatever income that comes, I tithe off that.
- 8:16But then from the church, we tithe also.
- 8:18Because I want God's hand in what we're doing. And who knows if after we go
- 8:24up there— See, what we need to understand as Christians is that God's not just
- 8:28only concerned about this town.
- 8:31You know, God's the God of the whole wide world. So we're here.
- 8:34We're helping people here. But while we go there and we help people there, guess what can happen?
- 8:39When we do that, then God can do big things here. Who knows if by going to Michigan,
- 8:44maybe God could give us some big center that kids could come to or something.
- 8:47Who knows? I don't know. but I'm believing for that. Amen.
- 8:50So I just want to encourage you. And if you're watching online and you want
- 8:53to participate in this revival we're doing, you can go to preach at lisa.com and give.
- 8:58I need to do my Zelle too. I didn't post it, but Zelle actually,
- 9:02if you give via Zelle, then there's no fees taken out of that.
- 9:05Mom gives via Zelle, but that's even better. Because if you give even 500,
- 9:08they take like 15. I hate that you take God's money, but they do.
- 9:12All right. I want to share with you briefly, and then I want to go over just
- 9:16some music kind of things at the end.
- 9:18And give some stuff to Kenny. By the way, there's not going to be any service.
- 9:22Today is Sunday, so it'll be Wednesday to Wednesday. So there won't be any service Wednesday.
- 9:31There won't be any service the following Sunday, and there won't be any service
- 9:35that Wednesday, pretty sure.
- 9:38So just so you know, it's about, unfortunately, seven days out,
- 9:40but it's worth it, amen, and plus it's worth it for us.
- 9:45So just so you know, and I'll have a sign on the door. All right.
- 9:47I want to talk to you about something. I was studying this thing called prevailing
- 9:51prayer. There was a guy, his name was Charles Finney. He was in the 1800s.
- 9:56And I've always heard about this guy. Like he would show up and people would just pass out.
- 10:02He'd walk in a room and people would fall on the ground and start repenting.
- 10:05Wouldn't that be weird? You walk in a room, they're like, oh,
- 10:06Tommy, I'm sorry, I'm a sinner. You'd be like, oh my gosh, what's wrong with
- 10:09these people? But that's what they did.
- 10:11And then he had these massive revivals with thousands of people.
- 10:15And I've always heard about the power, the power of Charles Finney.
- 10:18But you know what I never heard of? And maybe you guys know because you've studied.
- 10:21Did you know what was behind the power of Charles Finney?
- 10:24A praying man. Did you know that? I didn't either, all the time,
- 10:28never heard it. There was a man, his name was Nash.
- 10:32The reason I'm telling you this is God put on your heart to fast. I know you were fasting.
- 10:37We've been praying. I'm fasting this week too. Some other people are praying and fasting.
- 10:42So Nash is this gentleman that he would go into the town that Charles Finney
- 10:47was going to go into by himself.
- 10:50And he would find a cellar, a dark place or something. And he'd just throw himself on the floor.
- 10:57And he'd just, what's called intercessory prayer, he'd just cry out,
- 11:00God save souls. God help this town.
- 11:03God, please. And like with the heart, as if it was your own,
- 11:06as if you were looking into the pit and your favorite person in the whole world was falling in it.
- 11:12And with all your strength, you were crying for them to come out.
- 11:16That's what he was praying like, a fervent—the Bible says the effectual fervent prayer.
- 11:21And so he would kind of get the pulse of the city and the people that were lost,
- 11:24and he'd begin to cry out to God on his face.
- 11:28And he would cry out for the city, because remember I told you,
- 11:31each city has its own devils.
- 11:33People got their own devils. That's why some people are into drugs and alcohol,
- 11:38and some people eat until they die.
- 11:40Some people do that. You know, they can't—you've seen the buy 600 pound,
- 11:43whatever. I mean, that's a demon that makes you eat so much you die.
- 11:47So some people have demons like that. Some people have alcohol.
- 11:50Some people can't stop sleeping around and they get a disease.
- 11:53I have family members that that happened to. He was having sex with the wrong persuasion, and.
- 12:00He got AIDS that brought on cancer, and that killed him because he was jumping around with boys.
- 12:07It's very sad. So that's the devil that makes you do stuff like that.
- 12:11So, but, you know, you might think if you're a man, you might think I'd never do that. Okay.
- 12:16But maybe you're tempted with alcohol, you know, so there's different demons.
- 12:20So he would get in prayer and he would begin praying for the place.
- 12:25Hey, y'all, I really need you to not this morning to be doing that.
- 12:27This is really important what I'm teaching. All y'all listen,
- 12:30kids, just color and listen. Thank you.
- 12:32So he would get in this attitude of prayer and he would begin praying really
- 12:36hard and he would pray for the city and what they needed. He would pray for
- 12:40the broken hearts. He would pray for the people.
- 12:42And then he would feel what he called a breaking.
- 12:46You see, I know this, but I don't always know what to do.
- 12:53I know that there's stuff hindering sometimes, but I don't always know what to do.
- 12:59And so here was this man of God that came in and you and me and everyone, oh, Charles Finney.
- 13:04But if it wasn't for Nash, there wouldn't have been any power.
- 13:07So Nash was crying out praying. And supposedly when Nash would get done and
- 13:11it could be days, weeks, who knows? I mean, really just praying.
- 13:15And when he was done, he felt a breaking and he would tell Charles Finney, you can come now.
- 13:20And so then Charles Finney steps up.
- 13:24And people just start, oh my gosh, Charles Finney. But they had no idea. that Nash was praying.
- 13:30So if God's led you to be praying for us going to Michigan or pray at any time
- 13:35for me or this church, that's you're led in the spirit by that. And it's powerful.
- 13:40And so Charles Finney wrote a book called Prevailing in Prayer.
- 13:45And he said, sometimes your prayers just don't get answered.
- 13:49Just lift your hands if you've ever prayed a prayer and it didn't actually get
- 13:51answered. It's okay. I have. Yeah. And he said, there's reasons for that.
- 13:55And we need to figure that out. And so even me, as much as I'm learning,
- 14:00this is why you're never going to get there. You're always learning. You're always growing.
- 14:04And I didn't know this, that Charles Finney had some guy named Nash.
- 14:07And so I'm like, Lord, where's my Nash? My Nash, please.
- 14:11And what he said is that the preacher—now, I pray, don't get me wrong.
- 14:14I'm not asking someone. But the preacher is just a mouthpiece.
- 14:18That Charles Finney was just a mouth. There was an engine behind his power. And I didn't know that.
- 14:25And so it was so much. So there were so many signs, so many miracles and so much power.
- 14:31And one day, Nash, and they said that this man Nash, like when he would pray,
- 14:35they said you would see him and he looked like he aged like 20 years,
- 14:39which I don't know that I agree with all that, but it was rough on him.
- 14:41He looked like he'd been through it because he was fighting the spiritual stuff, you know?
- 14:46And one day they found Nash in one of these cellars, face down in the ground,
- 14:51hands outstretched in the sound of a cross and dead.
- 14:54He was interceding and he died interceding.
- 14:57And they said, this is what's interesting and why I'm prefacing what I'm about
- 15:01to share with you so you can understand the value, because I don't teach on prayer often.
- 15:06But they said that after he died, that Finney continued a little bit,
- 15:10almost like, you know, if you're on a subway, let's say we got a runaway subway train, right?
- 15:14And it's just flying down the track and the engine dies in the subway train.
- 15:18If they don't have brakes, is that train going to stop right away?
- 15:22It's going to keep going, right? Because of the engine. So for a while, he kept going, kind of.
- 15:26But they said it never quite was the same. And then eventually it stopped,
- 15:31which is interesting to me.
- 15:33And so they said that there was some power, but then what happened was people
- 15:38felt like, okay, this is how revival is.
- 15:40We pray, and there's miracles. It was like, in other words, it was more a manufactured
- 15:45revival than actually people just—and we've all been in those,
- 15:49haven't we—than people falling. And let me just tell you something.
- 15:52Muslims are not going to be saved with a manufactured revival.
- 15:55These people coming from Detroit and Inkster.
- 15:58Ladies, you got to be kidding. They're not going to be saved by just me manufacturing
- 16:02some revival. It's going to take something on me that's not me.
- 16:07And that's what we're praying for. But we have to see how to get our prayers answered.
- 16:11And also not just for revival, but in your own life. In your life.
- 16:17And so when it comes to prayer, he had some things. He said,
- 16:20you can pray a lot and still not prevail.
- 16:23You ever been there? You just pray a lot, but you don't get anywhere.
- 16:27It's like someone sitting in a rocking chair and expecting to travel.
- 16:30You're just rocking. That's what we're like. Our prayers are like,
- 16:32we're just rocking, but we're not going anywhere.
- 16:34So Jesus didn't teach us to perform an activity of prayer. He taught us to ask
- 16:40and then receive. In Matthew 7, 7 through 8, Jesus said, Ask,
- 16:45and it shall be given to you. Seek, and you shall find.
- 16:49Knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- 16:53For everyone that asks, receives.
- 16:56Now, that's the Bible.
- 16:59But we're all standing here saying we've had prayers that haven't been answered.
- 17:03So why are some prayers answered and others not? Well, he discovered that God has Bible conditions.
- 17:09Now, we don't live in a world that likes this teaching at all.
- 17:14We live in a world that says, it don't matter what you do. You could be drunk,
- 17:18high, sleeping. God loves you.
- 17:21Well, yeah, he always loves you, but you're not going to get the blessing.
- 17:25So we're living in a society that doesn't like this teaching.
- 17:28But I want to ask you, do you want to keep rocking in a rocking chair or do
- 17:31we want to go somewhere? I want to go somewhere. All right.
- 17:34So the first way to get your prayers answered is you must expect God to answer.
- 17:40The first condition that Finney gave is faith in God as the answer of prayer.
- 17:46When we pray, we should expect God to respond.
- 17:51Mark 11, 24, whatever things you
- 17:53desire when you pray, believe you receive them and you shall have them.
- 17:57Hebrews 11, 6, he that comes to God must believe he is and that he is a rewarder
- 18:04of those who diligently seek him.
- 18:07Do you not find it odd that if you talk about being prosperous or blessed,
- 18:10the first thing people say is, Christians don't need that money.
- 18:13You've got a bunch of Christians spend their whole life tearing down other Christians
- 18:17if they've got jets or cars or whatever. And it's like, who cares?
- 18:21Just worry about your own stuff. This is why communism and socialism is thriving in our nation.
- 18:27Because instead of people standing in front of God and saying,
- 18:30look, can I just tell you, we are one body.
- 18:34But if you look around this room, we are all very different.
- 18:37We look different. We talk different. We act different.
- 18:39God is a God of uniqueness.
- 18:43You're made in his image. I'm not made in her image, and she's not made in my
- 18:47image, and you're not made in his image.
- 18:49Everyone just say, oh, thank God. I made in God's image.
- 18:52We're made in God's image after his likeness. We are unique.
- 18:55There is no collectivism. In other words, God—this is why also—and I'm learning
- 19:01about Charles Finney in prayer.
- 19:03But at the same time, God wants to talk to me. Charles Finney is dead. He's in heaven.
- 19:08God needs to talk to you. God likes you. That's why he made you. You're an individual.
- 19:15Kenny's not like anybody else. My mother's not like anybody.
- 19:17We're all different. Gaila is not like anybody else.
- 19:20Neither is Kelsey. We're all different. And so God, you can learn and get principles,
- 19:26but you have to understand there's something just for you that God has.
- 19:29And the more you find that out, the better you're going to be.
- 19:32And for me, I can see God's trying to teach me something. And he's teaching
- 19:35me. I only got a few days before I go to Michigan and he's teaching me some
- 19:38stuff. I need you to talk like this. I need you to, you better get in some prayer.
- 19:41You better figure this prayer thing out.
- 19:43And I'm like, yes, Lord, okay. So I know it sounds goofy to say that you have
- 19:47to believe that God will answer. But honestly, if you're honest,
- 19:50how many times have you prayed thinking, I don't know if he's going to do this?
- 19:53I mean, you know. Well, guess what?
- 19:56I wish I had a bull. I need a bullhorn shed. I wish I had a buzzer.
- 19:59I'm going to get a buzzer for church.
- 20:00So if you start your prayer and you want it, so you pray, okay?
- 20:05And then your next thought is, that probably won't happen. Let me just.
- 20:09Okay, that's it. You're not going to get it.
- 20:11No point in continuing. Well, that's true, Lisa, but that's the Bible.
- 20:16Doesn't it say, he that comes to God must believe that he is, and he is a what?
- 20:21Rewarder. Don't you find it weird that all the churches, not all the churches,
- 20:25but some pastors and preachers are telling you, don't just come to God for what
- 20:28he can do. He's not going to do stuff for you. He just said he's going to do stuff for me.
- 20:33What do you mean he's not going to do? He just said, I got to believe he is,
- 20:36and he's a rewarder, right? But you got a bunch of people trying to talk you out of it.
- 20:41If you're going to pray, pray. If you're going to believe, believe.
- 20:43Believe he's going to do it.
- 20:45Okay, but you can't just believe anything. You can't just come in here and go,
- 20:48Oh, I really like Lisa's car. I'm going to believe that God's going to make her give me her car.
- 20:52Okay, that's not in line with the Word, so we're going to get to that.
- 20:55You have to come to God and believe that he hears you, that he cares about you,
- 21:00that he's able, and that he keeps his word and he answers prayer.
- 21:05So don't pray with more faith in your problem than you have in God.
- 21:09And you've heard that before.
- 21:10Don't talk to God about you. Oh, you don't know, God. Just say how big he is.
- 21:15All right. Two, you got to pray according to God's will.
- 21:19These are conditions for answered prayer. And this will all be on YouTube.
- 21:22You can look at the transcript later and you can get them all down.
- 21:25Two, pray according to his will.
- 21:28Ask according to the revealed will of God. That's a key.
- 21:32Now, there are things you can get for yourself, but that's why you got to look
- 21:35in the Bible. Is this your will, God? So, like, say you're believing for a house. Yes.
- 21:40Let's pretend you want a house. Is that in God's will? If I ask you,
- 21:43is that God's will for you to have a house? Yes or no? Tommy, I'm asking you, is it?
- 21:47Yes, it is. Because the Bible says houses. Actually, I should have questioned you.
- 21:54Let me ask you again. That's what I should have said. Is it God's will to get
- 21:56a house and answer the way you did the first time?
- 21:59Yes. Nope, it's not. It's his will to get what?
- 22:02Ah, there you go. Houses, plural. Well, I can barely have one house.
- 22:07Well, so you're supposed to have houses according to the word, right?
- 22:10But do we really think that? We don't really think that.
- 22:13Do this to your head. Give me your mind, Lord. Give me your mind.
- 22:16Help me to think like you. All right.
- 22:18So 1 John 5, and this is the confidence. Do you have confidence when you pray? You're supposed to.
- 22:25That we have in him that if we ask anything.
- 22:28Come on, say that out loud with me. We're going to school today.
- 22:31Anything. If I ask anything.
- 22:34According to what? What my Nana says, my boo-boo says, my gym teacher says.
- 22:38No, according to his what? Will.
- 22:40We know he hears us. And if we know he hears us, we know we have the petitions we ask for.
- 22:50If the Bible says, Kenny, when you give, you robbed me. Well,
- 22:54how have I robbed you, God, in tithes and offerings? What is a tithe?
- 22:57You can't, like, if you give 20%, I tithe 20%. No, you don't.
- 23:00You give 10% and another 10% as an offering.
- 23:03But if God tells you to give 10% and you do it, then you're within your right
- 23:08to say, hey, God, you said in your word, if I give 10%, you will give back to me.
- 23:13Now, maybe you don't have it this week. Maybe you don't have it next week,
- 23:15but it's totally within your right. Say, oh, hello, Jesus.
- 23:19God, you said you'll bless me. It's right there. You're praying according to
- 23:24his will. Does that make sense? Okay. Same thing with healing or anything.
- 23:28By his stripes, you were healed. So if there's a problem in your body,
- 23:32when you tell that body to line
- 23:33up, it has to, right according to okay so you got to know matthew 6 10,
- 23:38your kingdom come your will be done on earth now i've taught you to pray like
- 23:43that jesus teaches you to pray right your kingdom come your will be done on earth right,
- 23:49okay but what if his will is not being done in your life.
- 23:54That's the reason your prayer might not get answered. Here's the challenge.
- 23:58You cannot sincerely pray your will be done while inwardly saying,
- 24:03as long as your will is like mine.
- 24:08You know, the Bible says that if I contend with my husband, my prayers won't be answered.
- 24:12If I fight with him. So I mess with him sometimes because Matilda seems to like
- 24:16get stuff because she's a kid.
- 24:18And he's like, man, I didn't get that. Man, how come I, you know,
- 24:20he wants, you know, powers, that's what he wants sometimes.
- 24:23So I mess with him. I'm like, well, let's just get an agreement.
- 24:25Let's all get an agreement and see what God can do. But I have to remind myself that.
- 24:30You see, the devil's always trying to stir up strife. So if Chad does something,
- 24:32even if it's small, and I begin to think, oh, he's getting on my nerves.
- 24:36And then God forbid I voice it. You just get on my nerve. Now we're going to be a big disagreement.
- 24:40Now we're going to be fussing or not talking. In his case, we won't be talking
- 24:43for about 10 hours. Now we won't be talking. There's stress in the house.
- 24:47And so I could go out and sing, Mary had a little lamb. Please do it,
- 24:50God, till the cows come home. But I won't be getting it.
- 24:53Because my life is not lined up like his. Now, if you're not with a husband,
- 24:58you don't have a husband or whatever, then ask yourself, is my will lined up with his will?
- 25:03Am I doing the simple things that God asked? Do I come to church? Do I love him?
- 25:07Do I walk in purity? You're supposed to, even though a lot of Christians tell
- 25:11you it doesn't matter. It does matter.
- 25:13So you can't say your will be done as long as it agrees with my will.
- 25:17There are some verses in the Bible that are scary, really scary.
- 25:21You're going to come to me and you're going to say, I cast out devils in your
- 25:24name, but I healed them in your name.
- 25:26And I'm going to look at Jesus said, I'm going to look at you and say,
- 25:28I don't even know who you are. That's scary.
- 25:31That means that there are people doing for God, but he doesn't know them.
- 25:38That means that there's all these preachers and pastors that are falling left,
- 25:42right, and center. Now, nobody can make you fall. They chose.
- 25:46But they're like preachers. They've got power. They've got pride.
- 25:48And some chick's looking at them in the front row, and they're married.
- 25:51Then they end up with this girl, and they've got a megachurch.
- 25:53And then the next thing you know, it's all over the news, and it's destroyed.
- 25:57That's a devil, but they're the ones that chose it, right?
- 26:01So if you do something like that, your life doesn't line up,
- 26:05and you'll be one of those ones that Jesus will say, I don't even know you.
- 26:07Get away from me. It's very scary.
- 26:09So we don't want to be like that. But Christianity today, unfortunately,
- 26:14because of the putrid that comes across the pulpit, it's puke,
- 26:17it's putrid. They just do whatever you want.
- 26:20But I love people enough to say, no, don't do whatever you want,
- 26:26because I love you. And I don't want you to stand in front of God and say, I don't know who you are.
- 26:30Well, Lisa, it's hard. And if we truly say, well, it's hard for me to not do it.
- 26:34You know what that means? That means that if I tell you it's hard for me to
- 26:38not live in sin, And that means that I'm focused more on the sin than I am on God,
- 26:44because it becomes easier—you know, I guess when I talk like this,
- 26:49sometimes y'all think that me and Chad fight 24-7.
- 26:51We don't, but we are very strong personalities. Very strong.
- 26:57Nobody thinks that they think he's just a demure little mouse,
- 26:59but he's a bull ass, my daughter.
- 27:01And so, and I am too, because I grew up, you know, my dad and I fought,
- 27:06you know, I'm a fighter, a really a big fighter.
- 27:08And you are too. A lot of these ladies that you are, you're going to want to
- 27:12have to watch it. And you, you already know what happened with you.
- 27:14That's why I guess, Gayla, she'll cut you, you know. So some of us ladies, we're fighters.
- 27:18She will. Her and Marissa, they'll freak you. They'll just cut you right off.
- 27:22You know, I got ladies that follow me, Melissa. They just cut you. They'll just cut you.
- 27:26Yeah, tough girls watching. Well, a lady gets tough like that because a man
- 27:31didn't act right or the dad didn't act right.
- 27:33So, oh, I got to protect. I got to guard if I don't guard myself,
- 27:36you know, and then, and then you get married and you're like,
- 27:39I'm going to show you. Okay. Well, it's not going to be good.
- 27:44Yeah. You know, she's laughing because she knows. So, so he and I,
- 27:47we have to, if he does anything and I don't like it, I mean,
- 27:53it's not that I can't talk to him, But you understand what I'm saying?
- 27:57I don't have the right to say, like Joyce Myers, I think of her,
- 28:01I'm not making you a sandwich. Make your own self a sandwich.
- 28:04You know, that's what she used to say about her husband. I don't have a right to do that.
- 28:08And there was a time, I forget what he did, but he really made me mad.
- 28:11And all of a sudden in me, I had this weird thing to make him,
- 28:15and I'm like, that's not me. I don't want to do that.
- 28:19And God was showing me, this is what it is to love when they make you mad.
- 28:23Now, again, can I just say this, and I hope my husband doesn't mind,
- 28:26but long before I met Chad, I dated some guys, and they were scumbags.
- 28:29They were drinkers. They were cheaters.
- 28:31You don't need to do nice things for cheaters and drinkers. That's not what
- 28:34I'm talking about. If you've got a husband that's kind and loving and honest about that.
- 28:39Anyway, back to my prayer message. That will be done by saying,
- 28:43as long as your will lines up with me. So prevailing prayer says,
- 28:46God, I trust you enough to want your will.
- 28:50You know, we got all these Christians out here with so-and-so brothers,
- 28:52a good Christian. How do you know they're a good Christian? Are you in their house?
- 28:56You think they're a good Christian? What if they're watching all the horror
- 28:59shows or the sex show? You don't know what someone's doing in their house.
- 29:02That's why when people say, well, they're a good Christian. They didn't get
- 29:03healed. You don't know what they're doing. Maybe they're mean as a snake at home.
- 29:07You ever seen anyone in church sweet as can be and mean as a snake?
- 29:10I have. I've seen lots of people like that.
- 29:13Your life and your prayers must agree. if I pray thy kingdom come,
- 29:17then my life needs to demonstrate that I actually care about his kingdom.
- 29:22In other words, my time, my money, which is what you all did,
- 29:26my priorities, my energy, just coming to church on Sunday is you showing God
- 29:31you're giving him your energy.
- 29:33So congratulations, and you're giving him your time.
- 29:36My decisions, you can't pray passionately for something you refuse to participate in.
- 29:43You know, that's also why God tells you to tithe. It's an interesting scripture.
- 29:47If you were just to think it in your head over and over again,
- 29:50where your treasure, notice he doesn't say where your heart is,
- 29:53your money will be. Although sometimes with dating, you feel like that.
- 29:56But he said, where's your treasure? Where's your money? That's your heart.
- 30:02All us guys that love our cars and our trucks and our boats and our motorcycles,
- 30:06we got friends, They love their horses. I mean, thousands upon thousands of horses.
- 30:11Then your heart's in your horses, not in the church. But if you look at your
- 30:15checkbook and it's like, why gave for souls? I gave for Bibles.
- 30:18I gave for, that's your heart.
- 30:20So what God's saying is where your money is, your heart's going to follow.
- 30:23It's not the other way around.
- 30:25So when you talk about the kingdom, it's an investment.
- 30:28We as a church are invested in Michigan because your blood, sweat,
- 30:32and tears is going up there. And let me tell you something. You know.
- 30:36When you see the line of people that come and when you're watching and you're
- 30:43playing and I'm praying and you're seeing little kids up there crying like we've
- 30:47done in here and you see people that you know are hardcore people.
- 30:50No one's ever told them that God loves them or nothing.
- 30:53And they're crying and they're coming to the altar.
- 30:56You're going to be glad that your heart was invested in that.
- 30:59You're going to be glad. You're going to be glad your money was in that.
- 31:01You're going to be glad you sent your money ahead. You're going to be glad that
- 31:03you're up there doing registration tables. You're going to be glad.
- 31:07Well, Lisa, you know, that's Michigan. That's got nothing to do with me. Yes, it does.
- 31:11The Bible says, seek first the kingdom and all these things will be added.
- 31:15So when you do what is important to God, he blesses stuff you don't even need to pray about.
- 31:20I think the reason why so many Christians are so miserable is they're just always
- 31:23praying about themselves.
- 31:25And, and, you know, you know how like when you got little kids and,
- 31:31and so, I mean, we've all got kids in here of some form or fashion and you've
- 31:35pretended to be mom to some of the kids.
- 31:37If they're really acting wrong, they're acting out.
- 31:40What did you used to say in the old, old days? What did parents used to tell
- 31:42the kids if they were acting out in the house? What did they tell them to do?
- 31:47Go to your room. But in the old days, what they said, go outside and play, right?
- 31:50Why would they do that? Because if you're outside playing, you're exhausted,
- 31:54and you got no energy to be boxing your sister, boxing your brother, right?
- 31:59Well, that's how it is with Christians. If all we do is think about me,
- 32:02me, and I, I got all kinds of energy to be mad.
- 32:05Mad at this person. They didn't do this for me. Mad at that person.
- 32:08But if I'm tired because I'm working for the kingdom, I don't have time to be
- 32:12mad because people aren't nice to me. I'm working for God.
- 32:15Or like that old mean, that Irish guy, that girl who's like,
- 32:18Daddy, I've got a boyfriend. He goes, No, you're not. You're working for Jesus
- 32:21now. You know, he's such a cute meme.
- 32:25So Proverbs 28 says, He that turns away his ear from hearing the law,
- 32:30even his prayer shall be an abomination.
- 32:33There has to be a consecration behind your prayer. That was Proverbs 28.
- 32:37Don't ask God to endorse a lifestyle that refuses to listen to him.
- 32:42You know, I never thought about it that way. But when I was listening to one
- 32:45of these videos, you know what it said? It said, God's not going to bless a rebellion.
- 32:50Now, if I said that to you, you'd say, oh yeah, of course. But yet we live our
- 32:54lives in rebellion to him sometimes, or we do things in rebellion,
- 32:57and then we're like, hey, I need you to do this.
- 32:58Why would he do it? You're living in rebellion to him.
- 33:01And I know grace teaches you do whatever you want, and your prayer gets answered.
- 33:04But clearly that's not true. There's all kinds of people, their prayers are not answered.
- 33:09And I want, don't you all want your stuff to be answered? I do.
- 33:12Okay. Check your motives. A third condition is unselfishness. James 4.3.
- 33:17You ask and receive not because you asked that you could consume it all on your lusts.
- 33:23You're asking selfishly. God, I just want, you know, I mean,
- 33:28I ask for a jet sometimes because I just would like to have one.
- 33:31But if I don't use a jet to do anything for Jesus, you know,
- 33:34and it's not that you only have to do stuff for God. God, I want money.
- 33:39He'll bless you. But the point is, you don't ask him to give you stuff just always for you.
- 33:44For example—let me use this as a better example, not the money thing.
- 33:47I've been asking God a lot to help me to walk in great miracles,
- 33:53signs, and wonders when I go to Michigan.
- 33:55Okay. That is not.
- 33:58So after the meeting, people can say, Oh, it's not that evangelist garden.
- 34:04She was like, You know, I'm thinking, Give me miracles so I can look like no crap.
- 34:11You know why I'm praying for miracles? because there's somebody that I know
- 34:15is coming and they're hurting.
- 34:16Maybe their back's broken. Maybe their arm's broken. Maybe their heart is shredded.
- 34:20And I don't know what they need, but God does. So I'm crying out,
- 34:22God, help me so I can help them.
- 34:25That's what it means when it says, don't pray just for your own self. Pray for others, okay?
- 34:30Don't waste it on yourself. You have to say, is this about God's glory?
- 34:34Is it helping people? Will it fulfill my purpose? Will it advance His kingdom?
- 34:37Or is it just ego, pride, competition? A lot of people like to compete with
- 34:42people. selfish gratification. All right.
- 34:45You have to keep a conscience void of offense. This is a condition for prayer.
- 34:49A conscience void of offense towards God and man. Now listen to this. 1 John 3.20.
- 34:55If our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things.
- 35:01If our heart doesn't condemn us, then we have confidence towards God and whatever
- 35:05we ask, we receive of him because we keep his commandments. Now,
- 35:10the connection is a clear heart produces confidence before God.
- 35:15When your conscience keeps telling you, hey, you got a problem and you need
- 35:19to deal with this, don't keep shouting over it in prayer.
- 35:23I'll just use our example again. Hey, Lisa, you're a little too touchy with
- 35:27Chad. Oh, like that day that the Lord told me I was offended.
- 35:31Matilda didn't tell me, but God said, you're offended. And I was so annoyed.
- 35:35I'm like, yeah, because he was rude, You know, but the Lord didn't.
- 35:39I said, oh, you're right. I did get offended.
- 35:44Oh, man. So then I had to repent, right?
- 35:49That's what it means, your conscience. So if God's dealing with something in
- 35:53you, if you know when you talk to someone, you're rude as crap, fix it.
- 35:58If you know you blame the whole world for your problems, fix it.
- 36:02It's nobody, anybody in the world can do anything.
- 36:06Yes, some people are abused. Like there is a it's really bad lately.
- 36:10You know, in the world, they're letting mothers murder their children because
- 36:14they say that they're just, you know, overwhelmed.
- 36:17Who cares if you're overwhelmed? You don't get to hurt somebody if you're overwhelmed.
- 36:22Well, I punched them because I didn't like how they talk to me.
- 36:25Who cares how they talk to you? You don't get to punch somebody just because
- 36:28you don't like how people don't talk to me nice all the time.
- 36:31I don't go running and punching them. I'd probably get sued.
- 36:34You don't get to do stuff like that.
- 36:36So ask yourself, is God dealing with something? I need to get that out.
- 36:40Because before you ask God for something new, we need to obey him concerning
- 36:45anything he's already told us. Does that make sense?
- 36:48So that's why David said, Lord, seek my heart. Is there anything in you that's unclean?
- 36:53And this is just coming closer to God all the time. I know I got stuff in there.
- 36:57I just let somebody take me off just the other day again online because they
- 37:00corrected me. I was like, I got all that.
- 37:04You know, she didn't have any right to correct me. and I told her all about
- 37:07not having a right to correct me. And then I thought, why did I even do that? So I, you know,
- 37:12makes me not useful. Don't hold on to known sin. This is a condition.
- 37:16You have to have a pure heart.
- 37:18If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord won't hear me.
- 37:22What's that mean? God knows you might make a mistake. He's not saying if you
- 37:25make a mistake, you can never be used. Nobody would ever be used.
- 37:29But he's saying if you know you did something, fix it.
- 37:31I told you all this story when I used to be in church that, you know,
- 37:34me, if I sinned and I just sinned, can I just tell you, I messed up.
- 37:37I was on the choir and I was dating him and I sinned and I shouldn't have, but I did.
- 37:43But you know what I didn't do? I didn't lie. I lied about it one time and I
- 37:46got caught. That was the last time I ever lied about it.
- 37:48Because my pastor was like me. She knew all kinds of stuff. So,
- 37:51and this was, you know, don't be looking at me weird. I was 20 years old.
- 37:54So I didn't have everything together at 20 something. But anyway, so I was sinning.
- 37:58And you know what I would do? I'd run to the pastor's office like a, like a, like a Catholic.
- 38:03I'd start crying and say, I did something wrong. And I know,
- 38:06you know, I've had people come to me and say, hey, I did this.
- 38:07And I'm like, okay, good. Well, ask God for forgiveness. That's all.
- 38:11So I didn't hide it. But there was one chick. She was on the choir and she was pregnant as could be.
- 38:16No husband. And she's like, well, can't I just stay in the choir?
- 38:18He's like, no, baby. You are here with somebody. She just wanted to hide it.
- 38:23You're never going to go free. There's no benefit to hiding your sin.
- 38:28The reason you don't hide sin, and I'm not saying come to me.
- 38:31Please don't tell me all your mess. I don't want to hear it.
- 38:33I'm saying go to God. I don't. Don't tell me.
- 38:36Just go to the Lord. Lord, I shouldn't have done this. You understand?
- 38:38Clean heart. God, give me a clean heart. So you can't get your prayers answered
- 38:41if your heart's all jacked up.
- 38:43If you're holding your sin, protecting, excusing, or refusing to surrender.
- 38:48Life is too short to not get your prayers answered, so you got to go to God
- 38:52and make sure that the thing. All right, confess what needs to be confessed.
- 38:56Proverbs 28, 13. He that covers his sin will not prosper, but he who confesses
- 39:02them and forsakes them will have mercy.
- 39:05Don't cover, confess, forsake.
- 39:08And where it's appropriate, make it right.
- 39:11Luke 19, 8. He didn't simply tell Jesus he was sorry he was willing to repair
- 39:15what he did wrong. Do you remember Zacchaeus? He was a tax collector.
- 39:19And so when he saw Jesus, there was something in Jesus that made this man who
- 39:23was a thief say, Jesus, will you come to my house and oh, I'll repay everything.
- 39:27Remember, he said that voluntarily. Nobody made him do that.
- 39:30Just like that little boy. Remember, you guys, I showed you the video of the
- 39:33little boy that went to heaven and he started crying. He said, I'm a bad son.
- 39:36She's like, no, you're not. Yes, I am.
- 39:39God should provoke something in you where you want to say, like Matilda said,
- 39:45you know it's coming when she's a little girl. Say you're sorry.
- 39:48So say you're sorry. Come to God with clean hands.
- 39:51Psalm 26.6, I'll wash my hands and as I will compass the altar.
- 39:561 Timothy 2.8, I will therefore pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands.
- 40:01You have to have holy hands, not wrathful hands. I'm going to box you up.
- 40:07No doubting. Settle broken relationships.
- 40:12Again, if you've been wounded by somebody doing a wicked thing,
- 40:15I'm not talking about that.
- 40:16I'm talking about like a mother, a brother, a sister or whatever, Matthew 5.23.
- 40:21If you bring your gift to the altar and you've got a problem with your brother,
- 40:25you've got to go to them, leave the gift, fix the problem with your brother.
- 40:29God says, before you keep talking to me about them, go talk to them.
- 40:34It doesn't mean that every relationship can be restored. Sometimes reconciliation
- 40:38is not possible, but your heart has to be right. For example,
- 40:45Let's just say there's a lady named Joan. There isn't, but let's say there is.
- 40:48And a lady named Joan just talked all kinds of lies about me.
- 40:52And then Joan shows up in church and wants to keep coming to church.
- 40:56Well, it means I got to look at Joan and say, I know you said those lies and
- 41:00that was wrong. And she says, yeah, it probably was. Okay, I forgive you. Come on in.
- 41:04My heart has to be right. I can't hold anything against Joan.
- 41:07Why? The Bible says forgive one another because Jesus forgave us, right? Okay.
- 41:12Remove idols and stumbling blocks. These are conditions for prayers.
- 41:15Ezekiel 14.3 God told Ezekiel, These men have set up idols in their heart.
- 41:21Should I inquire at all of them? In other words, God's saying,
- 41:25You got a bunch of idols. I'm not going to listen to you.
- 41:28Now, when we think idols, what do you guys think of? Like when you think of an idol. Go ahead, baby.
- 41:35K-pop, Ari. K-pop, is it? Yeah. That'd be like, is it that Dolls or something? Yeah. K-pop, yeah.
- 41:40What about you? If you think of an idol, like for us, what's an idol?
- 41:44What would you think? Famous musician or actor? Musician, yes, baby.
- 41:54Right. So I am idol. Oh, very good. You're so smart, Enz. If you idol somebody, that's right.
- 41:57Now, for me, when you think idol in the Bible, you're thinking of like a stone
- 42:01creature or a, you know, a sphinx or whatever those things were.
- 42:05You know, that's their idol. These fake gods, Greek gods and stuff.
- 42:08But you all know in America, many idols, right? Food can be our idol.
- 42:13Facebook can be an idol. TikTok, Snapchat, idol, idol, idol.
- 42:18Guns, trucks, dresses, clothes, nail, just any of it, money.
- 42:24And so check your heart. Is there something in there that means more to me than
- 42:27you, God? I got to get it out.
- 42:30It could be money, success, relationship, approval, your image,
- 42:33possessions. What would it mean like if it's approval?
- 42:37Well, you know, if somebody says, well, you're going to that church and that
- 42:40lady's preaching about the Holy Ghost and you're like, man, I really want this
- 42:43person to like me and And they think I'm weird because this lady talks about the Holy Ghost.
- 42:47You care more about approval than the truth, you're going to have a problem.
- 42:51So you have to say, God, is there anything in here that I want more than you? Forgiveness is a lot.
- 42:57So I'm probably going to go through this a few years. I've never done this before,
- 43:00but I think maybe I'll re-teach it. And when we teach it, because I know we
- 43:03don't get it the first time, because I don't get it the first time.
- 43:06So forgiving is essential. Jesus taught us to pray, forgive us our debts as
- 43:10we forgive those against us.
- 43:12But if you forgive if you don't forgive men their trespasses neither will god
- 43:16forgive you this doesn't mean you have to be with them you know you guys know like um.
- 43:22And i don't know maybe sometimes i didn't fully forgive but i did my best to
- 43:26forgive my dad the last time i saw him,
- 43:28you understand it was hard you know he was laying in my arm the last time i
- 43:32recall seeing my daddy he was laying in my arms having a seizure because he
- 43:36had fallen down the stairs and he had a what he had my aneurysm.
- 43:39He was laying in my arms in his apartment, and I held him while he sees in my arms.
- 43:45And when he came to, he looked at me and he said, go get my sons.
- 43:49I said, okay. And that was the last I ever talked to my father.
- 43:54Because in my heart that day, I decided I'm going to hate you for the rest of
- 43:58my life. That's the last time you're going to break my heart. I hate you.
- 44:03But I had to try to release that bitterness and stuff because it just affects
- 44:07you for the rest of your life.
- 44:09Now, I didn't get to tell him I'm sorry, which is awful.
- 44:13But I remember I was in a hotel room and I was asleep. And in my ear,
- 44:17I'm a thousand percent sure I heard him say, don't you know,
- 44:21I always loved you. It was his voice. I don't know if that meant he made heaven.
- 44:24Maybe it did. I don't know.
- 44:26But I was sobbing so uncontrollably that I woke up out of a sound sleep.
- 44:31I think that was the Lord's way of telling me, it's not what you think.
- 44:36So forgiveness is really important. None of us have a right to hold a grudge
- 44:41against someone else. The problem is when you do that, it's because you just
- 44:43think you're all that and bag of chips. But if God was looking at you and all
- 44:46your flaws, you've got a lot of flaws.
- 44:48That's why I think when we're like, well, you don't know what they did and they
- 44:51really hurt me. So you don't think about being hurt as a form of that's an idol.
- 44:55Maybe that's why I'm bringing it up.
- 44:57Holding on to hurt and pain is an idol. I'm going to worship this hurt.
- 45:00I'm going to worship this pain. I'm not letting it go.
- 45:03Because you're basically saying, I know you told me to forgive them,
- 45:07but I'm not letting it go. I wasn't done right.
- 45:11I don't like it. And it's not good. that's an idol.
- 45:15God said he forgave you, you've got to forgive him. So this is a visual that
- 45:19will help anybody watching and those of you online that I use for myself.
- 45:23You know, because there's going to be times you'll have to forgive the same
- 45:26person 50 times, 100 times, just like Peter. How many times do I got to forgive? 7 times 70. Okay.
- 45:32This is what I do that helps me. I imagine Jesus on the cross,
- 45:36like in all his horrible pain with the blood dripping down and he's on the cross.
- 45:41And I imagine I'm just standing at his feet and I'm looking up at him with everything
- 45:45that, you know, the Bible says we put that on him, not your neighbor.
- 45:49I did that. My sins put him up there. So I imagine me in front of him looking
- 45:54up, and then me griping about who's hurt me.
- 45:57I didn't really like them, and they did this to me. And I just imagine the Lord
- 46:01looking down at me like, are you kidding right now?
- 46:04Look what you did to me. And I forgave. Didn't he say, Father,
- 46:07forgive them? They don't know what they— So that image helps me to forgive,
- 46:12to forgive people that have hurt me and done bad stuff. I just think of Jesus,
- 46:16and I'm like, I don't have a right to hold anything against.
- 46:18And when you do that, your prayers can be answered.
- 46:22See, this is why the enemy works so hard to have people hurt you and have you
- 46:25full of bitterness, because he knows if you ever get this key,
- 46:28if you go free, there's no limit to what you can do.
- 46:31This is why we have entire people in Africa. It was so weird.
- 46:39There's so many people there, but they're so broke because they cannot come
- 46:43together. I didn't quite understand that.
- 46:46It's not just the wicked government. It's that each one of them are so full
- 46:50of pride because it's this tribe. Like, you couldn't even drive a mile.
- 46:55This is this tribe. I'm like, how many tribes do you like? Tribes?
- 46:58I don't know. There's hundreds of tribes.
- 47:00The people can't get together because the people are not in unity,
- 47:03and they're fighting. I hate you, and I hate you.
- 47:05They could overwhelm that government like that. Africa could be the richest
- 47:10country in the world, but instead, people come from outside Africa and take
- 47:13them over because the people won't come together.
- 47:17They fight one another and that's what's happening in our nation i don't like
- 47:21you why because you're rich and i don't have your money you don't have a right
- 47:24to their money you didn't you work,
- 47:27you didn't earn it go make your own money well i don't like you because your
- 47:31hair's curly i don't like you because your hair's straight who cares it's a lot of hatred,
- 47:37i like you because you're republican well i like you because you're democrat who cares Cheers.
- 47:42We don't have a right to not like people. We have to love all people.
- 47:45If we're Christian, if we're Christian, up in heaven, this will all be stripped off.
- 47:49There won't be any of that. So you gotta forgive people. All right,
- 47:51be totally honest with God. Psalm 51, behold, you desire truth in the inward
- 47:57parts. God doesn't need religious language. He wants truth. If you're scared, tell him.
- 48:02If you're hurting, tell him. If you're angry, tell him. If you're confused,
- 48:05if you're struggling, just tell him.
- 48:07When you pray, pray in the name of Jesus. You guys know this part already,
- 48:10but you don't say, Jesus, do this for me.
- 48:12The Bible says, whatever you ask in my name, I will do that the Father is glorified in the Son.
- 48:19So you go to God and you say, Father, please help me with this in the name of
- 48:23Jesus. That's how you properly pray.
- 48:25It's Jesus' righteousness, his authority. Let the Holy Spirit help you pray.
- 48:30You guys know that's why we talk about the Holy Ghost, Romans 8,
- 48:3226. The Spirit helps on firmities, but we don't know what to pray.
- 48:36You don't always know, but the Holy Ghost does. Pray with fervency.
- 48:40James 5 16 the effectual fervent prayer that means not a you know I'm praying
- 48:45for Michigan you are how'd you pray God just help Lisa in Michigan.
- 48:50That's not a fervent prayer I need you to go God help Lisa to not be dumb help
- 48:55her to preach the truth help her to be full of miracles help her to have a magnet
- 48:59that just magnetizes people to her so they can be saved
- 49:03oh God send the lost young ladies send the lost young men send the broken send
- 49:08the addicted send them God Send them to the field.
- 49:10Give them visions, God. That, that's a fervent prayer, right?
- 49:15You don't say, Lord, well, I guess you want it, so it'll happen. You don't say that.
- 49:19The Bible said that Elijah prayed, Hannah prayed, Daniel prayed,
- 49:24Jesus prayed, the church prayed, and the circumstances moved.
- 49:28You don't be too quick either. Perseverance is often necessary.
- 49:33I know other people have talked about it, but we really are like a microwave Christianity.
- 49:37Why tithes? Nothing happened. How long did your tithe? Four months. Okay.
- 49:43Okie dokie. We want it now. I want it now. I want it now. Okay,
- 49:46there's perseverance. Sometimes you got to wait.
- 49:491 Kings 16, 42, Elijah prayed, and then he sent his servant to go look.
- 49:55When Elijah prayed that it would rain, he said, hey, hey, go look.
- 49:59So like you go look and you come back. You're like, Lisa, there's no nothing
- 50:03there. I'm like, Melissa, go look again.
- 50:05She's like, I just looked. I said, go look again. She looks,
- 50:10comes back. Lisa, there's nothing there. Oh God, it needs to rain. Okay, Go look again.
- 50:15So if it doesn't happen the first time, just pray again and just go look and expect.
- 50:21And then when he did, behold, there was a cloud the size of a man's hand.
- 50:28Well, I'm believing for, you know, a million dollars and I only got 50.
- 50:32Just be thankful for all the money, the millions coming. Glory to God, I got 50.
- 50:37You know, amen.
- 50:40And this isn't easy for anyone to do. It's not easy for me to do.
- 50:42I'm believing for more people and there's two. And you're like,
- 50:44nah, there's two people. I was looking forward to two people.
- 50:47You can't be like, oh, Lord, thank you for two people.
- 50:50You just look and expect. Woo-hoo, it's coming.
- 50:54Fate sees that. Fate sees. It's just a hand, but it's going to rain.
- 50:57You understand? All right.
- 51:00The Pharaoh's Phoenician, the Syrophoenician woman in Matthew 15, she refused to give up.
- 51:06The persistent widow, she refused to give up.
- 51:10The Bible says men ought always to pray and not faith. Don't confuse delay with denial.
- 51:18Don't. Sometimes there's travail in prayer. Isaiah 66, 8, as soon as Zion travailed,
- 51:25she brought forth a child.
- 51:27And this is something I don't think about often.
- 51:29There have been times, I guess, when I've prayed like, well,
- 51:31I remember praying like this for a long time sometimes. But when's the last time?
- 51:37Honestly, ask yourself. When's the last time that your prayer was like this,
- 51:42God, I just thank you. I know you're working it out. Father, thank you for like that.
- 51:46Versus God, I need it. God, I thank you. You're going to do it.
- 51:50God, please send the souls.
- 51:52I don't want a little girl to grow up like me. Send them, God.
- 51:55Help me to help them. You understand the difference?
- 51:59One is like, and one is a fervent prayer.
- 52:03Our life is like this i know we want stuff i want stuff i'd love to i'm so cute
- 52:08i posted an ai picture of me and a rolls royce and my friend in africa goes
- 52:12congratulations but she's like oh she's like mom.
- 52:17Aaron thinks you got a rolls royce i was like oh my god i said aaron it's just
- 52:20a i you know he's so sweet he's so sweet and then i'm like no but you all know
- 52:25you don't realize this but because i went to africa i have africans praying
- 52:28for me all the time they're so sweet. I got a guy, he left me a message.
- 52:31He calls me Mama Lisa. Mama, I'm praying for you, and yes, real sweet. So people are praying.
- 52:37My little children of whom I travail, my little,
- 52:40This is a level of intercession where something grips your heart.
- 52:44You're not just mentioning their name. They become a burden.
- 52:48This is hard for us. I'm just telling you, it's not hard for other countries
- 52:52because they don't have a lot, but it's hard for Americans.
- 52:56I wasn't really joking, but somebody said to me today, well,
- 52:59I'm not the one that did that.
- 53:00I said, who cares if you're the one that did it? Just fix it.
- 53:03It's always got to be about you. Just help me. Just fix it.
- 53:06But we're like that aren't we but but but it's not about me but i didn't get
- 53:10it but i didn't who cares when are we
- 53:12we've got to be like this we and it's human nature so don't feel bad if you're
- 53:16like that it is human nature it's just me me me i
- 53:19i want what i want and and you're not thinking about some other girl that's
- 53:22dying and going to hell look let me tell you something you might not be a multi-millionaire
- 53:26i'm not you might not have riches yet i'm not but nobody and i can say this
- 53:31with a thousand percent confidence.
- 53:32Nobody in this room, if they were for some ungodly reason to die tonight,
- 53:37you're not going to burn in hell forever.
- 53:39But you know something? Your family members are.
- 53:42I've got family members that they died right now. They will no doubt burn in hell.
- 53:47We must pray as if it was us.
- 53:51They're going to hell if we don't cry out to God, help us, Lord,
- 53:55and not just pray, do something, which is what we're doing.
- 53:58How do you know if us going up there is not somebody travailing in prayer.
- 54:04God, my mom won't go to church. Please do something to save her.
- 54:09And God's like, I got somebody for you.
- 54:11How do you know? You don't know. Maybe that's why we're going up there.
- 54:14Maybe somebody is crying out for their sister, their brother, their mother.
- 54:19Maybe some Arab is in some foreign country and he can't get here.
- 54:22And his brother or sister is in Dearborn Heights. We've got like a hundred of them now coming.
- 54:27I can't imagine they're all just Christians. Maybe, but I don't think so.
- 54:31And maybe they're like, God, they're never gonna step foot in church.
- 54:34God, do something, send something. And maybe that's what we're there for. Who knows?
- 54:39Fervent prayer, they have to become your burden and use whatever God's put in your hand.
- 54:45Don't say, God, send revival, and then don't do anything.
- 54:51They would pray in churches, send revival, send revival, but they wouldn't speak to a sinner.
- 54:56They weren't giving. They weren't serving. They didn't invite anybody.
- 55:01And we also, as Christians, we, I'm saying me too, we have a problem with that sometimes.
- 55:06Well, I just wish the church would grow. Have you all firmly gone and drugged
- 55:09people in this church? Well, until you do, this church isn't going to grow.
- 55:11Well, I tried. They said, no, who cares? Try 10 more.
- 55:15Why try with them? They said no too. Who cares? Go find 10 more.
- 55:18There's somebody somewhere.
- 55:20You understand? God doesn't let us have excuses. Well, I tried.
- 55:22They didn't come. When that happened in the Bible, remember the marriage supper?
- 55:26He said, well, I tried. This one said that I'm late. This one said I got a date.
- 55:29This one said I got to procreate. And that's not what it said,
- 55:33but it would be funny if it said that.
- 55:35And Jesus said what? I don't care. Go to the highways, the byways.
- 55:39What did he say? Go get me the cripple. Go get me the lame.
- 55:43I want my place full. Go get him. He doesn't care. Cripple, lame,
- 55:46blind, smelly. He doesn't care. Bring him in.
- 55:49That's what he said. And we've had all that up in here, up in here. That's what he said.
- 55:54Go get him. Preach, witness, give, serve, go. You don't just say,
- 55:58do something. Prayer doesn't replace obedience.
- 56:02Prayer empowers.
- 56:03And this is really important. I'm coming to the last two points.
- 56:06I think it's two. This is very important.
- 56:09Prevailing prayer has a definite objective.
- 56:14What will i that i should do for you that's what jesus asked people what do
- 56:20you want me to do what do you want me to do mark 10 51 lord that i might receive my sight,
- 56:29can i help you ambiguous prayers if you don't know what that word means is lord
- 56:34just bless them what the crap does that mean the crap does that mean someone
- 56:38says oh i bless you in the name of the lord throw their holy oil Oh,
- 56:42halla, that'll bless you. What's that mean?
- 56:45Lord, I want them to have a new car. Even that's not specific.
- 56:49What kind of car do you want? Oh, Lord, give them a blue Toyota that's shiny
- 56:53and sparkly with pretty wheels. You know, pray specific prayers over people or over yourself.
- 56:59So one thing that I was going to say, and I know it sounds ridiculous, but who knows?
- 57:05We're up to past 1,500. I forgot to tell y'all that. We were like 1,507 or something,
- 57:09whatever. So you know what I started saying?
- 57:12When you pray for me and you pray for us, let's be specific,
- 57:16as that lay in church said. Let's pray that we win 1,000 souls.
- 57:21That's about 325.
- 57:26At the altar every night. That's not impossible with potentially 1,500 people register.
- 57:31Might as well make a dent if we're going to go up there. I'm not going up there
- 57:33for nothing. I don't want to go up there for 20.
- 57:36I mean, I would, but so when you pray, be specific like the ocean.
- 57:40Lord, send a thousand people that need you and let a thousand souls convert,
- 57:45at that altar. Be specific, not just save a thousand people.
- 57:48When's that mean? Next week after we leave two weeks.
- 57:51Lord God, cause 1,000 souls in three days to come to that altar and give their
- 57:56life to you in front of all of us.
- 57:58Lord, I want to see signs and wonders. Okay, that's even ambiguous. What do you want to see?
- 58:04Oh, Lord, I want to see crippled people walk. I want to see blind seats.
- 58:07I want to see people with no ears grow an ear back. Send a man with no ear.
- 58:11I'd like to see an ear grow back.
- 58:13Why don't you just pass out if you saw ear grow back?
- 58:16You know there's people, they've had cuts on their arms because they cut themselves
- 58:19and stuff, and in a meeting, the cuts disappear.
- 58:22Hey, Lord, send the girl that's been cutting on herself, and in the audience,
- 58:25she screams out loud because the cuts disappeared. That's a specific prayer.
- 58:29What do you think that would do to a crowd if some 14-year-old girl screams
- 58:33out in the crowd, and you're like, God's doing something. Honey,
- 58:37what's God doing? Come up here. And she's just weeping and crying.
- 58:40I hate myself, and I've been cutting myself. I cut myself. I cut myself every day.
- 58:44You know, that's happened. And it's happened to people. And there's no cuts
- 58:47anymore. I mean, that crowd will go crazy.
- 58:50There's already plenty of people that argue. I'm not arguing.
- 58:53I'm not smart enough to argue. I'm not smart enough to argue about Muhammad or Muslims or none of it.
- 58:57I'm not smart enough to argue, although I did argue with one guy,
- 59:00but I'm not smart enough to argue with the people that my church is this and
- 59:03my vineyard. You're just a little church. I've already had that come at me.
- 59:06But I'm not smart enough to argue with them. I got nothing.
- 59:09I'm coming with Christ and him crucified. That's all I got. And signs and wonders.
- 59:13And so be specific when you pray. Because God wants to help everybody,
- 59:18but you have to be specific.
- 59:21Father, give us 1,000 souls. Put a name on it.
- 59:24Prevailing prayer requires childlike sincerity. Do you remember when Jesus said,
- 59:30Suffer the little children to come to me, for such is the kingdom of heaven,
- 59:33unless you be like a child.
- 59:35And I've talked to you about this before. Children just believe you.
- 59:39Hey, we're going to go to Disney. Yay! They don't say, how much does that cost?
- 59:44How long is it going to take?
- 59:46They could not care less if it cost you a million dollars.
- 59:50Have you ever had your grandbabies to say, how much is Disney today?
- 59:52No, it's just like, I want this, I want that, I want, give me the dog whip.
- 59:55They don't care. That's what God's saying, be a kid.
- 59:59Matthew 6, 7, but when you pray, don't use vain repetitions.
- 1:00:02You're talking to your father.
- 1:00:04Finney said that we have to approach God believing in good faith,
- 1:00:08his promises. Numbers 23, 19, God is not a man that he can lie. He is faithful.
- 1:00:15Watch and pray. Watch your heart.
- 1:00:19Watch for the answer. So here's the quick list in a roundup.
- 1:00:2222 conditions in order for your prayers to be met. You must have faith.
- 1:00:26Believe God answers prayer.
- 1:00:28You must pray according to His will. Don't use selfish motives.
- 1:00:33You have to have a conscience void of offense towards God and man.
- 1:00:36I'm not going to be mad at them, and I'm not mad at myself. If I messed up something,
- 1:00:40God will forgive me. Pure heart. Father, fix my heart.
- 1:00:43Confessions. Clean hands. I'm not doing something nasty with my hands. I'm not sinning.
- 1:00:48My hands are pure before you. I lift up holy hands.
- 1:00:52Settle disputes among people. Have humility.
- 1:00:56Remove any idols from your heart. have a forgiving spirit. Truth and sincerity.
- 1:01:00Number 13, pray in Jesus' name. 14, pray through the help of the Holy Spirit.
- 1:01:0415, be on fire when you pray.
- 1:01:0716, be persistent. Don't give up. 17, prevail.
- 1:01:12Oh, I've got to have this, God. 18, use appropriate means. 19, pray specifically.
- 1:01:1920, mean what you say.
- 1:01:2121, believe God's promises are trustworthy. 22, watch and pray for the answer. Expect it.
- 1:01:29Is there anything in your heart that needs to change? Ask yourself so that your
- 1:01:32prayers can be answered.
- 1:01:34Search your pride. Say, Father, is there unforgiveness, pride,
- 1:01:37disobedience, anything? Please help me. And then say, God, I thank you.
- 1:01:40It's covered in the blood. And pray boldly.
- 1:01:43You have to prevail in prayer. Somebody's life might depend on it.
- 1:01:46Your life might depend on it.
- 1:01:48The effectual, fervous prayer of a righteous man. Pray until something happens.
- 1:01:53Believe God and watch for the answers. Now, I want to close with this one thing
- 1:01:58that kind of came to my heart this morning.
- 1:02:00And then we'll just pray briefly. And I won't keep you long because,
- 1:02:04you know, we got some stuff to do.
- 1:02:06And I want to just go through these couple songs real quick with them.
- 1:02:10And I don't want to hold them all day either. But I was thinking about Jesus,
- 1:02:13the very last thing that he did on earth, the very last thing he did on earth,
- 1:02:19the last thing before he went to the cross.
- 1:02:22He could have done anything. He could have asked for anything.
- 1:02:25He could have said, I'm hungry. Give me some figs.
- 1:02:27He could have said, I'd like to go for a swim.
- 1:02:30I need to walk around a little bit more. But what was the one thing that Jesus
- 1:02:34asked his apostles to do before he went to the cross?
- 1:02:37It was in the Garden of Gethsemane. Tell them. Praise God. He said,
- 1:02:42pray with me. Pray with me.
- 1:02:46That's what I'm asking you from Michigan and you, but also for your own life.
- 1:02:52Pray with him. He said, pray with me.
- 1:02:57And they were just like us. They were tired. They fell asleep.
- 1:03:03They didn't really care. For one thing, they didn't really know what he was going to do.
- 1:03:07They didn't know. But I don't know. Even if they did know, I don't know if they
- 1:03:11would have stayed up and prayed.
- 1:03:13Unfortunately, the human spirit is very selfish.
- 1:03:17Although I just need what I want. I just want to get it. We just are.
- 1:03:20You're going to have to fight against that.
- 1:03:22You're going to have to fight against, I'm tired. I'm hungry.
- 1:03:26I'll feel like helping. Nobody asks you.
- 1:03:29You've got one life to live. You've got one. You're really young, but I'm not.
- 1:03:36They're really young. Some of us aren't. I won't point to you guys.
- 1:03:39I want you to get mad. I'll point to me. She's like, don't wait for me.
- 1:03:43But I'm saying half my life is gone. Half of it is gone. If you're 50,
- 1:03:47half is gone. God said 120, so half's gone. I'm over 50, but half's gone.
- 1:03:52It's very short so i need it to matter because i'm gonna spend forever with
- 1:03:59him and i just i just don't want and i've been distracted just like you guys
- 1:04:03i get distracted people say stuff and i'm bing bing bing like a little ping pong thing in a game and,
- 1:04:08i can't be i've got to try really hard to focus and press in because and not
- 1:04:13i don't mean what you just don't enjoy your life he wants you to look at the
- 1:04:16trees and the moon and the star and go on vacation with your grand babies and
- 1:04:19have fun and go on cruise.
- 1:04:21He wants all that, but you got one life. That's it. That's all you got.
- 1:04:25I got one life. I love Africa. Can't wait to go back. I don't know if I ever
- 1:04:28get to go back. I hope so, but I'm not going to spend my whole life going to
- 1:04:31Africa 50 times because there's people that are going to go to hell.
- 1:04:35Maybe God has an Africa when I get to heaven. I believe he will.
- 1:04:37And guess what? Those lions won't eat me. I could pet the lions and everything
- 1:04:40when I get up there. I can go on safari in heaven.
- 1:04:42I can ride a zebra. I wouldn't want to ride one here because their backs put
- 1:04:45up in heaven. I won't mess up their bag and do whatever I want up there.
- 1:04:48So I want my life to matter and I want to work. Remember Jesus said work while
- 1:04:53the time is now is the time to work, work.
- 1:04:57Not just do whatever you want for the rest of your life. We got one life to
- 1:05:00live and I must live it for Christ. And it's the same thing with prayer.
- 1:05:04I must have a prayer life that does something. And I didn't know this about
- 1:05:09Charles Finney because just like most of us, you just think people pop out of the box.
- 1:05:13Now I did think he was a prayer guy. Okay, he prayed, but I had no idea.
- 1:05:17He didn't even know how to pray like that. It wasn't him at all.
- 1:05:20It was Nash behind Finney.
- 1:05:22And then they went, I saw online, they went to Nash's tombstone.
- 1:05:27They found it. It was hidden. It's not like, you know, people go to lay on graves
- 1:05:31of other people. They hope to get some weirdo anointing. Yeah, they're weird.
- 1:05:34But no one even knew where his grave was. His grave was in the middle of nowhere,
- 1:05:38under some mossy grass with limbs. It's hidden, just like his life was hidden in Christ.
- 1:05:44But don't tell me when he got up there. Don't tell me that his reward was not
- 1:05:48off the charts, because he sacrificed his blood, sweat, and tears of prayer,
- 1:05:54his hours upon hours for strangers.
- 1:05:57They couldn't do anything for him. They never even saw him, but he cried out, God, help this city.
- 1:06:03God, send this man, this woman, help them to know you.
- 1:06:06Oh God, may they repent of their sins. All these prayers, so that when Charles
- 1:06:11Finney stood up like some abracadabra, had nothing to do with him.
- 1:06:16He had a machine behind him, literally parting the demonic realm,
- 1:06:22making room for this preacher.
- 1:06:24The Bible said he confirms the word. But when there's an opposition to the word,
- 1:06:29I will tell you as a preacher, maybe you don't know it because you haven't been in this.
- 1:06:34But I have been under a tent where it just feels like crap.
- 1:06:38And it is very hard to preach. I've been in here where it feels like that. I'm like, good grief.
- 1:06:43She knows. She's felt it too. Oh, brother, everybody's just,
- 1:06:48you know, and you're like.
- 1:06:50Let me rev up the engine. Y'all just drug me to the ground, drug to the ground.
- 1:06:55I was feeling good till I came in this church service.
- 1:06:58So there's something that can happen in the atmosphere. But then I was in other
- 1:07:02tents and I'm like, oh my gosh, somebody's been, you could feel it.
- 1:07:08Somebody's been praying in here.
- 1:07:10Something feels good in here. Why? Because you've cleared the atmosphere.
- 1:07:16I don't know what's in Michigan. I think there's some political devils in there.
- 1:07:19There's definitely some divisive devils. There's some false religious devils.
- 1:07:23There's all kinds of stuff. There's factions. I don't know.
- 1:07:26But you pray in the Holy Ghost. Maybe God will help us break through.
- 1:07:29And you could pray for me to break through before I get there.
- 1:07:32We got those of us driving. You got a 10-hour drive.
- 1:07:35Right? Hikoroboshida. Fervent souls. Not just for me.
- 1:07:39Picture somebody when you pray. Picture that little girl coming to the altar.
- 1:07:43Picture you at 13 on the valley of decision. Somebody's giving them alcohol
- 1:07:48and they don't know what to do because they feel rejected.
- 1:07:50Picture that person coming to the altar and not being rejected anymore so that
- 1:07:53they don't have to be found under a tent almost dead.
- 1:07:56Picture somebody who you don't want to be abused like you were abused,
- 1:08:00rejected all the stuff, and pray fervently.
- 1:08:03And remember what our Savior said, the last thing he asked his apostles to do.
- 1:08:07Could you just pray with me?
- 1:08:09And then when they didn't, And he said, You couldn't pray for me just one hour?
- 1:08:14Human nature doesn't want to pray. You're going to have to discipline yourself
- 1:08:18to pray. And ask the Lord, Help me. Holy Ghost helped.
- 1:08:22And so this isn't just for Michigan. This is for everything in your life.
- 1:08:28Pray with fire. Ask God to help you so that you may have prayers that get answered for grandbabies.
- 1:08:36For Nico. You want Nico to grow up and marry some raggedy, raggedy Ann that,
- 1:08:41abuses them and stuff? Of course not. So you start praying.
- 1:08:46You want your niece and nephew to marry a good person so they can be loved and
- 1:08:50cherished and stuff? You, same thing. God, help me to pray.
- 1:08:54Pray for your sister, your family, your mother. I'm praying for my auntie.
- 1:08:58All of us have people that in their lives are doing all kinds of stuff.
- 1:09:01I got people that don't serve God, hate God, all kinds of homosexuality in my family.
- 1:09:07You know, I'm believing God. They just lay that stuff at the altar.
- 1:09:12Cute. Let's pray. Father, I
- 1:09:14thank you so much for everybody in here in the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
- 1:09:18You're going to teach us to pray.
- 1:09:20And Lord, I taught this, and I know it's a lot.
- 1:09:25And so help them to remember what I said, God, and help us who follow you to
- 1:09:30be full of faith and power to pray effectual fervent prayers lord god that we
- 1:09:36not have a attitude of pride
- 1:09:38but that we just say god it's it's you we need help god help us lord,
- 1:09:43lord let every person in here come up a new level in prayer that they will actually
- 1:09:48pray not just two minutes not three minutes but a fervent like like it's their
- 1:09:53life on the line like their family member could be going to hell
- 1:09:56and help us God there's a lot of people and they need help.
- 1:10:03Now, briefly, if you're watching me online, the first prayer I'm going to pray
- 1:10:06is that you would come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ because without him, nothing else matters.
- 1:10:13Will you say yes to Jesus today? Will you open up your heart?
- 1:10:17Will you repent? I'm sorry, God, I made a mistake.
- 1:10:21Maybe you're sleeping with someone you shouldn't be with. Maybe you're doing
- 1:10:25a bunch of drugs and they're tearing up your body or you're drinking or you
- 1:10:29feel terrible about yourself.
- 1:10:31Maybe you hate people and you don't know why. Maybe you're confused.
- 1:10:35Maybe you're depressed. Maybe somebody hurts you and you're full of bitterness.
- 1:10:39Maybe you're divorced and you don't know what to do.
- 1:10:42So you're angry at God and you left God. Well, you can come back today. God loves you.
- 1:10:47If you're watching me and you don't know Jesus, I'm going to ask you a very
- 1:10:51simple question, my friend.
- 1:10:52If tonight or today you were to lose your life on earth,
- 1:10:57do you know for sure you go to heaven if you say i don't know i couldn't or
- 1:11:03if you say i'm a good person that's not how you get in if you say i go to church
- 1:11:06that's not how you get in if you say i really don't know if i get into heaven well you can,
- 1:11:13all you have to do is understand the bible says believe in your heart that he
- 1:11:16is who he said he is that he died for you that he was buried and raised again
- 1:11:20and then ask him in your heart so if i'm talking to you god's knocking on the
- 1:11:24heart of your door the door of heart.
- 1:11:27Say this with me. Say, Father, I'm sorry.
- 1:11:32Say, forgive me.
- 1:11:35Jesus, I know you died to take away my sins on that cross.
- 1:11:40I believe you were buried and raised on the third day. Jesus,
- 1:11:47will you come into my heart?
- 1:11:50Will you be the Lord of my life? Change me.
- 1:11:56Thank,
- 1:11:59you, Father. Let me say a simple prayer for those of you watching.
- 1:12:01If you don't need to come to Jesus, let your bodies be healed,
- 1:12:05your minds be whole, your heart be clean, your soul be purified,
- 1:12:11and strength come to you.
- 1:12:13May you know that you're not just living for today, and you're not just living for yourself.
- 1:12:18You serve a big God, and He needs you, and He wants you with your son and going for Him.
