- 0:00Speaker 1: Onto today. We talked a little bit last night about
- 0:04Glene Maxwell and the new filings that her legal team
- 0:09have put before the court saying that Juror fifty violated
- 0:13her right to a fair trial. Now, we didn't have
- 0:17too much information last night about this, and we still
- 0:21don't today, but I figured we'd add what we do
- 0:24have at the top of the show before we dive
- 0:27into another article dealing with Prince Andrew. So let's get
- 0:32started here with the New York Post and let's see
- 0:35what Ben Furehard and Kenneth Garger have to say about
- 0:39Glenn Maxwell and her assertion that her rights to a
- 0:43fair trial have been violated. Headline Glenn Maxwell's lawyers say
- 0:49jurror violated her right to fair trial. Like I said
- 0:54of this article was authored by Ben Furehard and Kenneth Garger.
- 1:00Gallan Maxwell's legal team claimed Tuesday, the juror at the
- 1:04center of their retrial request violated the convicted madam. The
- 1:07convicted madam? Really, how about the human trafficker? Too difficult
- 1:11to call her that the convicted madam? Was she convicted
- 1:14for being a madam? No, she was convicted for being
- 1:17a human trafficker? Right to a fair trial with his
- 1:20jury questionnaire responses. Maxwell's lawyers also said the jur corrupted
- 1:26the questioning process when the judge and attorneys sit down
- 1:30and have their impartial conversation about the case. So during
- 1:34the questionnaire period he lied, basically is what Glain Maxwell's
- 1:38team is asserting. The claims were included in a Tuesday
- 1:42letter from Maxwell's attorneys to Judge Alison Nathan arguing why
- 1:46their motion for a new trial should remain sealed. And
- 1:49this is the rub, right, why are you trying to
- 1:52keep it remain sealed? Now? You'll have one group of
- 1:55people will say, Oh, it's a big conspiracy, that's why
- 1:58they want it sealed. And then you'll have another group
- 2:01that says, oh, there's no conspiracies in this whole entire thing,
- 2:03what are you crazy? And then there's the actual reality
- 2:06of who the hell knows what these people are really
- 2:09up to? Right, And the last thing I'm ever going
- 2:12to try and do is put myself in the mind
- 2:14of Gleann Maxwell's lawyers. No, thank you, But my guess
- 2:21is that it's a little bit of everything. Right. When
- 2:24you're dealing with these people, they're very secretive and Glan
- 2:27Maxwell's lawyers especially, they have tried to keep things out
- 2:30of the public eye for the whole entire duration of this,
- 2:34going all the way back to the deposition, So nobody
- 2:37should be shocked that they filed this under seal. Maxwell's
- 2:44attorneys called for a new trial last month after the
- 2:49juror revealed he had been sexually abused as a child
- 2:52in a number of press interviews after the trial. Now
- 2:57we knew that right when he gave those interviews, it
- 2:59was going to be a big problem, right talking about
- 3:02how you were sexually abused, and you didn't reveal that
- 3:05during the questioning period. It's all bad and it definitely
- 3:10gives Glene Maxwell and her team something to clamp down on.
- 3:13Now again, I don't know if it's going to be successful.
- 3:16I doubt it very highly that'll even be successful for
- 3:19them to maybe even get a new case here, a
- 3:22new trial. But in the long term, in the long run,
- 3:26I have zero doubt that she will remain convicted or
- 3:30perhaps even be convicted on more accounts if they decide
- 3:33to go this route. We all know the federal government
- 3:36is vindictive as hell, and if you think you're gonna
- 3:39beat them in one of these cases, you better think again.
- 3:42There's a reason that they're successful in about ninety eight
- 3:46percent of their federal prosecutions. The juror, identified by his
- 3:53first and middle names, Scottie David, said he couldn't recall
- 3:56how he answered questions about how past sex abuse that
- 4:00were posed to a potential panelist and a questionnaire before
- 4:04the trial. David told Reuters that he flew through the questionnaire,
- 4:08but he was sure he answered the question correctly. In
- 4:12Tuesday's letter, Maxwell's attorney said her retrial motion should remain
- 4:16under wraps until the court makes a ruling or after
- 4:19a potential hearing on the request. The defense team argued
- 4:24that unsealing the motion would give the jur an improper
- 4:27preview of information he does not have and should never have,
- 4:30or at the very least should not have at this
- 4:33point in the process. So Maxwell's team is asserting that
- 4:38the reason they want this under seal is to keep
- 4:41Scottie David, jur Number fifty, from getting in possession of
- 4:45the questionnaire before he should have it. So what they're
- 4:49basically saying here is that this dude lied, lied, right,
- 4:52and they're being pretty forceful about it. At this point.
- 4:57Among the information the lawyers are trying to keep from
- 4:59the are his exact questionnaire responses that may have not
- 5:04been made public. The motion will provide a roadmap of
- 5:07the defense examination of Juror fifty and will allow him
- 5:10to plan out his and tailor his responses or even
- 5:14potentiallysfoliate evidence to paint himself and his conduct in the
- 5:19best light possible, the lawyers argued in the letter. Maxwell's
- 5:23sixty was convicted in late December of sex trafficking and
- 5:26other charges for luring and grooming underage girls for her
- 5:30longtime companion, companion, co conspirator, general all around scusbag partner
- 5:36in crime Jeffrey Epstein to abuse between nineteen ninety four
- 5:40and two thousand and four. She faces up to sixty
- 5:43five years in prison. So that's where we're at as
- 5:47far as the Scottie David situation and the motions that
- 5:51were filed by Maxwell's lawyers on Tuesday, Like I said,
- 5:55not worthy of a full episode on its own at
- 5:58this point, but I wanted to touch on it this
- 6:00morning before we moved on to this other nonsense we're
- 6:04going to talk about, which is Conrad Black Lord Conrad
- 6:08Black coming out and defending his boy Andrew. Now it
- 6:14should come as no shock that somebody like mister Black
- 6:18has had his own issues. The man was pardoned by
- 6:21good old Donald Trump for fraud, and now he's out
- 6:25here running his lips, piping off about how Prince Andrew
- 6:29is getting treated incorrectly and unfairly. Just another one of
- 6:34the so called elite fellow travelers taken up for one
- 6:37of their buddies. Huh. Well, guess what, Lord Black, We're
- 6:43going to talk about it right here and right now
- 6:45on the podcast. This all is from Newsweek and the
- 6:51author is Jack Royston. Headline Prince Andrew should not be
- 6:57stripped of titles, says media mobile pardoned by Trump boy
- 7:01that Donald Trump. He sure keeps great company, doesn't he.
- 7:04You know, I'm so sick of the whole bes. Oh,
- 7:06Donald Trump was looking to smash human trafficking and yeah, right,
- 7:10stop it. Please stop trying to offend people with your nonsense.
- 7:14That's just as ridiculous as the people coming out and
- 7:18defending Bill Clinton. I'm tired of it. I don't want
- 7:21to hear it. Donald Trump wasn't this great crusader who
- 7:24cares about you or the people. Donald Trump cared about
- 7:27increasing his own influence, his own wealth, just like the
- 7:31rest of them. No different than Biden or Clinton or
- 7:33They're all the same. That's what I've been trying to
- 7:35say to you folks forever. And I know that when
- 7:39the political heat is turned up the way it is,
- 7:43people retreat into their tribes and they don't want to
- 7:46be told anything else, right, They want to be caught
- 7:49up in the fervor. They want to hate the other side.
- 7:54And you know, think that everything that their echo chamber
- 7:59is telling them is correct, Well it's not. You have
- 8:02to leave the echo chamber, okay, it's doing you no good.
- 8:06In fact, it's harmful. And anyone who thinks that Donald
- 8:10Trump is some great guy or didn't have any associations
- 8:14with Jeffrey Epstein is crazy, point blank period. They had
- 8:20a long term relationship, right. They obviously did have a
- 8:23falling out, no doubt about that. But to act like
- 8:26Donald Trump is a great guy who's never hung around
- 8:29with scumbags is just way too much for me to stomach.
- 8:34Donald Trump is part of the crew, part of the
- 8:37big club that you and I will never be invited to.
- 8:41So I don't understand why people sit here and you know,
- 8:44defend him like he's this great hero of the story.
- 8:48He is not just another gray character, folks, just another
- 8:52one of these elected officials who come in and all
- 8:56of a sudden, you know, everything's gonna change, Joel, I'm
- 9:00gonna fix the whole country. And it's just more of
- 9:03the same, surrounded by banker scumbags, surrounded by people in
- 9:06the financial sector who don't care about me or you,
- 9:09and the wheel just continues to spin. So one of
- 9:14the greatest things for me, anyway, is my awakening to
- 9:19all of that. When I started researching this case, I
- 9:22wasn't really hip to it, right, you know, not to
- 9:25the lengths that I see it now. And it's disturbing
- 9:29and it's dangerous. We're at a point where we have
- 9:33to figure it out. We need to start, you know,
- 9:36reaching across the divide and talking to the people we dislike,
- 9:41or we need to come up with a different solution
- 9:44because what's happening now just doesn't work. And when you
- 9:47have people like this idiot Lord Conrad Black, who gets
- 9:53pardoned by Donald Trump or you know, gets protected by
- 9:59big shots who were in positions of power, it just
- 10:03proves the point that all of these dudes, they have
- 10:07a different set of rules that they live by. I'm
- 10:09pretty sure that if any of you have ever committed
- 10:11a crime, or if you do commit a crime, Donald
- 10:13Trump or Joe Biden or insert goofy ass politician here
- 10:18isn't coming in to save the day and give you
- 10:20a pardon. Do you know why? Because you didn't give
- 10:22them enough money. That's why Prince Andrew has a rare
- 10:25defender in the media, a former magnate who was pardoned
- 10:29by Donald Trump after a fraud conviction. So that's pretty funny, huh.
- 10:34A fraud coming out to defend a fraud. You know,
- 10:36Pie's in a pod inaw Fellow travelers. People willing to
- 10:40defend the Duke of York may be few and far between,
- 10:44but one prominent figure has spoken out on his behalf,
- 10:48Conrad Black. What's with the people with the last name Black?
- 10:51In this case, dudes probably related to Leon Black somewhere
- 10:54down the line, and they both probably have the same
- 10:56mental impairments. The Canadian born British businessman's company, Hollinger in
- 11:02the nineties was said to be the third largest in
- 11:05the world and controlled that both the Chicago, the Chicago
- 11:08Sun Times, and Britain's Daily Telegraph, among others. So basically,
- 11:14Conrad Black was a news mogul in the nineties when
- 11:19the legacy media all worked together to get rid of
- 11:23Gary Webb. So that's another black mark for mister Black.
- 11:27All of these moguls who run media companies and these
- 11:30gigantic media empires, I questioned them right away. I don't
- 11:36think that any of them are decent human beings. Honestly,
- 11:40have you seen the way they pump this rage porn
- 11:42into the news on a regular basis to try and
- 11:45get people all fired up over artificial wedge issues. These
- 11:50are the people we're dealing with, Guys like this Conrad Black,
- 11:53Guys like Robert Maxwell, guys like Rupert Murdoch. And then
- 11:58you look over at CNN you got old numb Nuts
- 12:01now has to step down from his position because he
- 12:03was having an improper affair with one of his underlings.
- 12:08So the legacy media is an absolute joke. It's a
- 12:11dumpster fire. And you know when you got guys like
- 12:16this guy, Lord Conrad Black, and the others we just
- 12:18talked about at the Control Switch, do you really think
- 12:22people like Jeffrey Epstein are ever going to be outed
- 12:24by our legacy media. In a comment piece for The
- 12:28New York Sun, Black wrote, the abandonment of Prince Andrew,
- 12:32the Duke of York to the frenzied assault upon Jeffrey
- 12:36Epstein in which all the many Canadian and other institutions
- 12:40and organizations that benefited from the Duke's patronage patronage have
- 12:44participated is a disgrace. Oh, it's a disgrace. Huh. You
- 12:48know what's a disgrace, Conrad. The disgrace is you sticking
- 12:51up for this guy. The disgrace is that your boy
- 12:54Donald Trump bailed you out and you got off on
- 12:57that charge. That's the disgrace. Defending Prince Andrew, Really, man
- 13:05oh man, for the Queen to have withdrawn from him
- 13:09all of his dignities exercised for centuries by the second
- 13:13son of the reigning monarch is not remotely justified by
- 13:17the almost irrelevant and inevitable fact that the Duke has
- 13:21been sued by a former companion of Epstein's and an
- 13:24American judge has declined to dismiss the charge in pre
- 13:27trial proceedings. Hey, mister Black, here's an idea. You got
- 13:30so many high opinions of America, keep your bitch ass
- 13:33in Canada. Nobody wants you in America anyway. Maybe you
- 13:36and Peter Nygard can go and have a little fun
- 13:40over there in bamp Okay, nobody wants you in America,
- 13:43so stay in Canada, he said. Britain is a country
- 13:48that does respect the presumption of innocence of accused persons.
- 13:53And it is shocking that so distinguished a monarch as
- 13:55Queen Elizabeth the Second would submit to the hair brained
- 13:59and unworldly vice of those who counseled her not to
- 14:02only attach a completely undeserved degree of credence to these
- 14:06so far unfounded allegations, but to put her own son
- 14:10over the side, prejudged and apparently abandoned by his family.
- 14:14Well how about this, mister Black, Why don't you go
- 14:16move into the royal quarters with Prince Andrew and you
- 14:20can rub his royal back for him, and you guys
- 14:23can have some warm milk and talk about how Prince
- 14:26Andrew has been wronged. What a joke, Conrad Black, Lord
- 14:31Conrad Black. In the old days, if this idiot would
- 14:34pipe off like this about the Queen he'd get his
- 14:37head cut off. So who's he even talking about? What's
- 14:41he even talking about? All of a sudden, Prince Andrew
- 14:44should be protected by the royal family. It comes a
- 14:48month after Queen Elizabeth stripped Prince Andrew of his honorary
- 14:53military titles and royal patronages. Black went on the attack.
- 14:57Went on to attack the American legal system before suggesting
- 15:00lawyers may have been drawn to the case by Epstein's
- 15:03famous friends, name checking Bill Clinton, but not Donald Trump,
- 15:08of course not. You can always tell who's playing politics
- 15:10with this, right. For instance, if you're out there and
- 15:13you get mad when I have something to say about
- 15:16Bill Clinton, you're probably part of the problem. On the
- 15:19flip side of that, if you get mad when we
- 15:21talk about Donald Trump's involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, you might
- 15:25be part of the problem. See here's the thing, folks,
- 15:28Both sides of the aisle were involved, both sides of
- 15:32the political donkey ass involved. And all of these people,
- 15:37these so called heroes and politicians who love us all,
- 15:40they're all scum. Look at the insider trading they're involved,
- 15:44and look at all of it, and then you add
- 15:46this to it, and for me. This is where the
- 15:49rubber meets the road. If you will, I'm willing to
- 15:52overlook all of their grifting. They're stealing all of the
- 15:55nonsense we're used to that I am not willing to
- 15:57overlook this. And Leon Black, Conrad Black, the rest of
- 16:03these people are such complete and utter disgraces that I
- 16:08could I don't care what political party you're in. Anybody
- 16:13who was involved with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghlaine Maxwell and
- 16:18hanging out with them and benefiting from them should be
- 16:20called out and onto the carpet. I don't care who
- 16:23you are. The Republican former president was named by an
- 16:28accuser in Gallane Maxwell's trial, who said she'd met him
- 16:32at age fourteen, though she did not allege misconduct by him.
- 16:35And that's true. Donald Trump as well as Bill Clinton.
- 16:39Nobody here is saying that they were involved in the
- 16:41abuse of these girls, specifically with Epstein. I have not
- 16:44seen that evidence yet. What I will say, though, like
- 16:47I've always said, is these clowns enabled them. When you
- 16:50have powerful friends like this, boy, oh boy, it sure
- 16:54makes your intimidation moves a lot easier. It sure makes
- 16:58everything you're up to a lot easily here, Black wrote,
- 17:02the Epstein case, which is full of sex, money, and
- 17:05prominent people such as the Duke of York and former
- 17:08US President Bill Clinton, is precisely the sort of litigation
- 17:12that attracts little worst type of American litigator, civil and criminal,
- 17:16the absolute dregs of American legal careerism. So basically, what
- 17:20he's saying, and this is just obscene, is that these
- 17:25charges don't even merit more looking into and everything here
- 17:29is politically motivated. That's what he's trying to say, and
- 17:32it's disgusting and it's gross. Glenn Maxwell was involved with
- 17:38Jeffrey Epstein, and she was helping him abuse children and
- 17:41young women. That's what she's convicted of. Lord Black, Okay,
- 17:47he said, I accept that Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell,
- 17:50both of whom I knew in innocuous contexts, may have
- 17:55recruited underage women for sexual purposes, and that is a
- 17:58serious offense. But none of this has the slightest connection
- 18:01to the Duke of York. Oh no, none at all.
- 18:04The fact that the picture with Virginia while she was
- 18:06being traffick means nothing. The fact that Steve Scully says
- 18:09he saw her topless with Prince Andrew on the island
- 18:11means nothing. Here's an idea, Lord Black, sit down, have
- 18:17some spotted dick and shut your yeap. Clinton, Trump and
- 18:22Prince Andrew say they did not know about or take
- 18:25part in Epstein's crimes. The Prince is preparing to contest
- 18:29his sexual abuse lawsuit, and his team are seeking testimony
- 18:32from his accuser, of Virginia, Robert's husband and therapist. Her
- 18:36attorneys wan testimony from his former former equerry, Robert Olney
- 18:41and Shukri Walker, a witness who says she saw the
- 18:44Prince with a young woman at Tramp nightclub in London.
- 18:48Roberts says she was taken to Tramp by Epstein and
- 18:50Maxwell in two thousand and one and dance with the
- 18:53Duke before the four of them returned to Maxwell's London townhouse,
- 18:57where Roberts was made to have sex with Andrew. The Prince,
- 19:00who demanded a jury trial, says the allegations are false
- 19:03and he has no recollection of meeting her. Demanded a
- 19:06jury trial. What other kind of trials are there? I mean,
- 19:09I guess trial by combat, but we know bitch ass
- 19:12isn't willing to do that. And I wonder if he was,
- 19:16say this was like a medieval type deal, think Lord
- 19:19Conrad Black would be stepping up to be the champion
- 19:22for Prince Andrew here. Somehow, I doubt it a lot
- 19:26easier to do when all you have to do is
- 19:28pipe off and there's no repercussions. Right, So, Prince Andrew
- 19:32and his one supporter here, Lord Black, well, I don't
- 19:37think it's gonna work out the way they want it
- 19:38to work out. And it's funny that you have a
- 19:42guy who was convicted of fraud out here pushing this
- 19:45kind of fraudulent BS to protect another fraud Prince Andrew. Well, folks,
- 19:51that's where we're going to leave it for today, and
- 19:53I'll let you stew on that for a little while. Obviously,
- 19:56I'll be back later on tonight with the evening update
