  favorite Real Housewives from one of my favorite franchises,

  How are you enjoying Sydney? Obsessed literally want to move

  here. This is the coolest place I've.

  the husband and children. I just Sydney is so amazing, so

  many like we've had the best time.

  I feel like a kinship with this country, like they see me, I see

  them. I like feel at home.

  I feel accepted. So nice.

  Yeah, everyone is so sweet. I moved from Canada 8 years ago

  and I obviously never left. So you get.

  I didn't. Even hear that you don't have an

  accent. Yeah.

  As a viewer and a big fan of Housewives, I am curious to hear

  about your experience being on the show more generally, how it
• 1:42
  influences your real life. Relationships, I think the best
• 1:46
  way do you want to. Go first.

  I was going to say what it's done is make the only
• 1:50
  relationship that we have are the relationships on the show
• 1:53
  because no one else can tolerate us.
• 1:55
  So it is like made these relationships become like even
• 1:59
  more primal in our lives, you know?

  Yeah, I was going to say the circle of friends has definitely
• 2:04
  gotten smaller. And you truly learn who's in
• 2:08
  your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

  And it's hard that I think the more the show has gained
• 2:16
  popularity, you really have to trust or like learn people's
• 2:19
  intentions. But Tether's point, like we have
• 2:23
  like if I didn't have Heather through this experience, like I
• 2:26
  can't even explain our dynamic. It's just beautiful.

  So pretty much I got stuck with her but now we're best friends.
• 2:36
  Well, it's changed over the years, right?
• 2:38
  So yeah, I mean, it changes a lot, but like our external
• 2:41
  relationships, like going on the show and writing the book, I
• 2:43
  don't have a relationship with my family or my community.
• 2:46
  So like the greater community has become like people that
• 2:48
  watch the show and my friends that are on the show and like it
• 2:51
  doesn't, it feels like a complete change, you know, from
• 2:54
  who was like integral in my life before.

  Yeah, and speaking to the fandom and the wider Bravo community,
• 3:01
  I'm so interested to hear how having such like, a chronically
• 3:06
  online fandom impacts you guys, how you guys deal with that.
• 3:09
  I feel like Bravo is so unique in the sense that fan
• 3:13
  interaction and the culture of the fandom is so integral to its
• 3:17
  success. Like, watch what happens live,
• 3:19
  you know, people calling in reunions, people asking you guys
• 3:22
  questions, like fan interaction is so important to the network.
• 3:25
  How do you guys deal with that? I mean, it's like 90% like
• 3:28
  absolute support and joy and love and like that feeds your
• 3:32
  soul in a way that like is terrifying.
• 3:36
  But the negative, you know, you just have to be able to recuse
• 3:39
  yourself of it and just like put your phone down, not read it,
• 3:43
  not buy into it, and just like enjoy the fruits of the good and
• 3:47
  just ignore the bad. Yeah, we have a saying in my
• 3:50
  house with my kids. It's we don't have time to hear
• 3:53
  why the haters love us today. So.
• 3:55
  Oh, my gosh, that's great. Yeah, that's our slogan.
• 3:58
  And did you make that up? I did.

  And what the the biggest thing, like the craziest thing that I
• 4:05
  learned actually from a Bravo exec the other day was that 3%
• 4:10
  of our audience is on social media, people.
• 4:13
  Yes, I'm actually surprised. So so when you actually just
• 4:18
  focus on the people who are viewing in from their homes and
• 4:21
  giving us massive love, like when we come here and like we're
• 4:24
  just doing our thing or Laverne and Shirley thing here and
• 4:27
  people recognize us, it's that's the love and the support that we
• 4:31
  live for. And yeah, Bravo Con's amazing.
• 4:33
  Watch what happens live is amazing.
• 4:35
  But truly, it's about the people who, because honestly, who do
• 4:39
  you know that watches a show and gets online and tweets about?
• 4:43
  It no, that is so true. Yes, that's so true.
• 4:45
  That's so true. So I think that learning that
• 4:48
  lesson, it took five years. Really, because you feel
• 4:50
  everything to heart and you want to be loved.
• 4:52
  You want everyone to enjoy the show.
• 4:54
  And so it can hurt, but like when you realize that I've never
• 4:57
  gone on a show's page and, like said something horrible to
• 5:01
  another person, and I watch every show on every network.
• 5:05
  So you just have to like take it with the greatest.

  Can you imagine if I got on your Instagram and like Heather,
• 5:10
  don't ever wear those pants again?

  Yeah, like stop losing weight. Specifically us.

  I think we love the fans. We wouldn't be here without
• 5:16
  them. Of course.

  OK. So I wanted to talk about the

  current season airing. How was shooting the season for
• 5:22
  you guys? Obviously I know you guys had a
• 5:24
  bit of like a bumpy Rd. the last couple of years in your
• 5:26
  friendship, how did you kind of reconcile and where are you?
• 5:30
  I mean, obviously you guys are good now, but how do we see that
• 5:33
  develop over the season? Well, like everything broke for
• 5:36
  us in San Diego in the lingerie you lost me fight.
• 5:39
  I've never fought with Whitney like this ever.
• 5:42
  We have had big disagreements, but she's never looked at me and
• 5:45
  called me a liar. You just lost me forever.
• 5:49
  You lost me forever, and that was the biggest mistake in your
• 5:53
  life. And so we've been like kind of
• 5:54
  trying to rebuild from there. And we've had like ups and
• 5:56
  downs. But truly the big pivot was in
• 5:59
  Bermuda on that beach. Monica is not who she says she
• 6:05
  is, OK? She's not our friend.

  She's someone that has schemed and worked to infiltrate our
• 6:14
  friend group and the name that you all know her as the woman
• 6:20
  who's birthday we celebrated, who we have been trying to
• 6:23
  champion and support and defend is Reality.

  Von Tees. Like we put our weapons down and
• 6:41
  like, I think recognized and remembered like why we were a
• 6:45
  safe space for each other and why we loved each other and why
• 6:47
  it was important that we like got back to bad weather.
• 6:50
  Yeah, and and what solidified it even more for me, I can't share
• 6:55
  yet, but just to tease, it was our finale of Season 5.

  Walking away from that dinner, the finale.

  That's when I knew Heather, like I will.

  I will do anything to save this relationship.

  What did I do at the finale? No, we you slept in my bed that
• 7:16
  night. Oh, oops, I teased that.

  Reveal. So can you tell me about the new

  Housewives? Obviously have joined you guys
• 7:25
  this season. How do you think they're fitting
• 7:27
  into the cast? More nuts for the trail mix.

  Brittany was my friend and I think she's like an incredible
• 7:33
  asset because she's just messed up and funny and like
• 7:38
  transparent and earnest and charming.
• 7:40
  And so it was really fun to film with her.

  Bronwyn was new and did some things that made me question her
• 7:47
  motives. And I'm very protective of my
• 7:49
  relationships with these women. So I was a little bit got off on
• 7:53
  the wrong foot. But stay tuned, you'll
• 7:54
  understand why. And I will be right.

  And then maybe not, but I think I will be right.

  I think that we both have a lot to learn still.

  Like we're learning. Yeah.

  It's we're still learning, yeah. It takes a long time to grow an

  old friend and we have layers like we've all been together for
• 8:10
  five years, but for years before that too.

  Let's just say Britt, I love Brittany because her energy's

  chaotic and it's amazing. And then Bronwyn, I think was a
• 8:19
  real test of our friendship and we passed the test like we no
• 8:26
  one's going to come between us. Good point.

  You are so hot, like you're going to be like a huge star.

  Like we should like get as much for this as we can.

  Yeah, have you considered joining the Sydney Housewives?

  I actually interviewed them on the red carpet and I interviewed

  Andy Cohen as well when he came to Sydney.

  Love you. It was a red carpet interview,

  so it was like really quick. But if Heather and I can get

  there, you can get there. Trust me, you're way ahead of

  When you met me, I had like a a Pixie cut and a.

  Go figure. That is shocking to me.

  You're such a glam girl now. I've always been a glam girl,

  but I did ditch it for a year to prove a point.

  The most sexy I've ever felt in my entire life, and yet.

  I'm going to shave Whitney's head.

  Oh my God, if we get invited back.

  Fingers crossed, bravo. OK, what is your favorite thing

  about filming Housewives? It's a full adrenaline rush.

  Like, there is no universe that anyone could create where a
• 9:34
  woman my age with, like, my history could go on TV with
• 9:37
  like, crazy women, be, you know, fly around the world, be able to
• 9:43
  just give all of my rage, all of my ambition, all of my humor
• 9:47
  too. And they can just take it.

  I mean, it's an incredible experience.

  Something that Heather and I say all the time, like we pinch each
• 9:53
  other. Like we literally just get to
• 9:56
  dress up and go to dinners and just say whatever we want.

  It's. Amazing and like give.

  Think. Yeah.

  But the truth, these moments is what makes it worth it to me.

  Like we're sitting in Sydney, Australia, looking at the most

  amazing view, meeting all the beautiful people that we've met

  and I'm with my bestie and it's like.

  That's so cool. Yeah, Yeah, it's.

  Amazing pinch. Yeah, and she pinches really
• 10:24
  hard and she occasionally bites me.

  I have a bite mark from the first from.

  When? It's a love by Just like the

  Penguins at the Penguin encounter, we encourage everyone
• 10:33
  to. Think that's what we were
• 10:34
  interpret I think we were doing a reenactment yes we've.

  Really embraced everything Sydney has to offer, including
• 10:40
  Penguin behavior. OK, what is the hardest thing
• 10:42
  about filming Housewives? The way it affects our kids
• 10:46
  because, well, I don't think it's true for all housewives,
• 10:49
  but in our community, it's just not.
• 10:52
  It has no value and no one acknowledges it and everyone
• 10:56
  just like talks around it so I think the kids feel it more than
• 10:59
  anything. Yeah, Well, especially in
• 11:01
  Heather and I's case where we've left the predominant culture of
• 11:04
  the Mormon church. So our kids have taken the
• 11:07
  direct hit of that. That's the hardest part and.

  The best part's the money and fame.

  Classic, yeah. It is hard to like sit there and
• 11:21
  so the rounds, I know Heather keeps saying like the fighting
• 11:23
  is fun, but sometimes it's really hard like it.

  Hard like running the marathon is hard or hard like lifting?
• 11:30
  I don't know. I've never run a marathon and I
• 11:32
  don't lift weights. But I imagine it's hard but has
• 11:34
  its own benefits. Yeah, Yeah.

  Do I lift weights? Yeah, yeah, I have a gym in the
• 11:40
  house. I wondered, OK, I'm not just.

  I gave you I've I've literally gifted.

  You gifted me a ball and like the hand weights but I was

  thinking do you like do like big like power weights?

  Yeah, come to my house. Let's do it.
