  Elon musk's company SpaceX is going to be unleashing Starship

  on the public tomorrow night tomorrow.

  Saturday night, the 28th of September 2019 Elon Musk is

  going to make a huge speech about the future of Starship
• 2:49
  where they're at now. And where they're going.

  So, Mark, 1, this is the spaceship that they've been
• 2:57
  building in Boca Chica, Texas. Starship, mark one vehicle, this

  thing is built. They just merged both halves the
• 3:08
  top half and the bottom half had been mated, and Elon Musk

  tweeted out a picture of it. And I'm going to tell you right
• 3:15
  now. This thing looks absolutely

  crazy. Cool.

  Okay, I'm a big fan of SpaceX I made.

  Basically, because I was a big fan of SpaceX and I just

  looks like a 1950s Style, shiny spaceship, that an alien would

  walk out from and say take me to your leader and it's massively

  It's huge. It's really huge.

  So what are they going to do with this thing?

  Well, for the conference tomorrow for the speech

  tomorrow, he's basically going to be standing in front of it.

  It's not going to be launching tomorrow night.

  But the plan is that they're going to have some launches by
• 4:13
  the end of this year. They want to actually have some
• 4:16
  orbital launches from Boca Chica Texas, the Mark 1, We'll be
• 4:22
  doing some hover tests first. That's, you know, that's the
• 4:25
  plan on everything. You have to get a low hover test
• 4:28
  before you go any higher, you know, maybe there's going to be
• 4:31
  a couple couple feet right for the first couple, hover tests
• 4:36
  and then you're going to go up to 50 feet.

  You're going to go up to 300 feet, you're going to go up to 5
• 4:44
  miles. And then, you're going to go
• 4:48
  eventually to orbit and Mark one Mark to these are the only two
• 4:55
  starships that we have right now.

  There's one in Florida, and there's one at Boca Chica Texas.

  We're not quite sure, which one's going to go up into orbit

  yet, but the mark one is made it together and it looks
• 5:09
  impressive. I'm going to take a quick second

  For this talk, it's going to be huge.

  This thing is gigantic and this is the time of year that Elon
• 5:52
  Musk does big updates for everybody so we can expect

  amazing. News from Elon tomorrow night.

  So also he may talk about the round, the moon flight that
• 6:10
  Starship will be making There is going to be a flight with you
• 6:19
  Sokka, Misawa. So he is a Japanese billionaire

  that is pledged to launch himself in Starship, and take a
• 6:28
  tour around the Moon. And then land back safely on
• 6:33
  Earth. But there's a lot of time in
• 6:36
  between now and then and they were going to do this.

  In 2023. It's 2019 right now is the end

  of 2019. They have about four years to
• 6:47
  get Starship to a point where they can launch people from the
• 6:53
  surface of the Earth into space. And not just into space, but
• 6:57
  around the Moon because very shortly.

  Probably within the next year, they're going to get the going

  to get the funding and get everything in line as far as
• 7:09
  legalese goes to launch somebody.

  From one of their launch pads. Probably in Florida.

  I mean, it's the NASA facility. It's very worked out.

  It's very well. Taken care of.

  You have everything logistically there to launch people, so
• 7:24
  they're probably going to be launching yasuko Misawa from
• 7:29
  Florida. To a trip around the moon and
• 7:33
  he's going to be taking passengers with him.

  He wants to take, I believe it's nine.

  People with whom you want to take artists with them so they
• 7:41
  can fly around the Moon. There of course there's going to
• 7:43
  be astronauts on board. Because you need technical
• 7:46
  people and you need Engineers, any pilots and co-pilots Etc to
• 7:51
  do these kinds of missions because a billionaire and a
• 7:54
  bunch of artists aren't going to be able to fly a Starship just
• 7:56
  saying like that's that's hard work and often have my head I
• 8:00
  don't know any artists who would be willing or capable of flying
• 8:05
  a spaceship. There's years and years of
• 8:07
  training that goes into that and I'm sure they're going to have a
• 8:10
  lot of training before they do this to and Starship isn't just
• 8:14
  going to be able to Three. A few people.

  It's going to be able to carry about 100 passengers and will be
• 8:19
  powered by six Raptor engines. Super heavy which is the rocket
• 8:24
  underneath the Starship. That's the big big big rocket on
• 8:29
  a Starship. It'll have 35 Raptor engines.

  The going to launch Starship on top of the super heavy and then,
• 8:40
  you know, they're going to Break apart and then Starships get to
• 8:44
  go on his merry way around the moon come back down to earth or
• 8:47
  we're going to have to wait and see if they're going to mention
• 8:50
  that tomorrow because it seems like this is already in the
• 8:55
  books. This is already planned.

  It's a billionaire that wants to do this.

  So he has the money to do it and they're ready to roll.

  The mark one. It's 160 feet tall. 665 feet

  tall. Then it will initially fly to
• 9:12
  about 12 miles and that's going to happen next month.

  They have to do, like I said before, some hover tests but

  they wanted fly it to about twelve miles next month.

  And I'll go into Earth orbit on future test flights if

  everything goes properly, and they're actually doing work at

  the Texas site to prepare for bigger launches, and I'm not
• 9:38
  sure if they're going to make it in time.

  For this one. But Mark to, that's what I'm

  expecting them to say that Mark to will fly into orbit, but
