- 0:55week's Treehouse Plus episode bridged the gap between our previous Friday number thirty eight episode
- 1:03where we talked about what is the one Hollywood Alien. You would not want
- 1:07to be real into what I'm going to mention here because in what I'm going
- 1:14to mention next has to do with the Predator franchise, because in Treehouse Plus
- 1:19thirty one we discovered a rift and Trey is not a believer in Predator two.
- 1:27I am. I think it was a fun movie. Tray things,
- 1:30it's terrible. Raj is going to watch and report, yes, and just
- 1:38I said it was so bad. I don't know why you would ever watch
- 1:42another Predator movie. Yes, called It's called Hope Trey. Some of us
- 1:47have Hope. It killed Hope. That's what at the end of the movie.
- 1:52That's what Predator kills. Bill Paxson's character was named Hope. He died.
- 1:59Wepped rip the skull and spine out in one yank, and Hope was
- 2:05gone forever. So I just want to give this to you briefly. The
- 2:10Predator franchise, Okay, that was, by the way, along with the
- 2:15xenomorphs from Aliens, were the two main answers people gave. As far as
- 2:20the Hollywood aliens, you would not want to become real. The aliens from
- 2:25Predator are known as the don't know how you say this, the Yautia it's
- 2:30yau Tja that's their species name or whatever. But in the Predator franchise,
- 2:38you've got the original with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Jesse Ventura. That
- 2:46came out in nineteen eighty seven and it was wonderful. Three years later,
- 2:52Predator two comes out starring Danny Glover. There you go, Gary Busey,
- 3:00Maria Councita, Alonso, Rubin Blades. Yeah, and that was set in
- 3:07the distance in the in the near future, right, I think that I
- 3:12think that movie took place in like the mid nineties or something like that,
- 3:15even though it came out in nineteen ninety. And that's where Danny Glover has
- 3:19to score off against the Predator there who terrorizes La. What was cool about
- 3:23that is you saw what Predator did in the jungle on the first one,
- 3:25so the second one is, yeah, let's unleash this dude in the city.
- 3:30That was a fun angle on it. And then you could have just
- 3:34made it like lethal Weapon one point five. You know, Myrtaw versus the
- 3:38Aliens. I'm too old for this shit. It kind of was tray'son not
- 3:44far off there. That's actually pretty close. I would watch that, honestly.
- 3:51That would have been an interesting twist. Is it would have been an
- 3:53interesting mash up. You take the Predator franchise, which at that time was
- 3:59one movie, right, and you mash it up with the Lethal Weapon franchise.
- 4:01I think at that point, I think the second one, this is
- 4:05after the first one, but maybe right before the second Lethal Weapon came out.
- 4:09You could have taken the two franchises and mashed them up where you get
- 4:13Lieutenant Murtau from Lethal Weapon fighting the Predator and Rigs is nowhere to be found,
- 4:20and that would have been an interesting twist. Now it kind of felt
- 4:24like that at times. It just didn't have, you know, the name
- 4:28or the family aspect for him anyway. The only reason to bring this up
- 4:30because I want to tell you about the Predator franchise. So Predator was wonderful.
- 4:38Predator too. I enjoyed Trey Hated Predators, which came out in twenty
- 4:42ten, which starred Adrian Brody. I liked that one because they took a
- 4:47group of humans and put them on a hunting planet and the predators hunted them.
- 4:54Okay, that was a fun movie. That was a lot of fun,
- 4:57and it even had what's his name from that seventies show Rose. You
- 5:03never watched that seventy show? Oh yeah, I loved it, Eric,
- 5:06the main kid from that. He was in Predators along with Adrian Grace.
- 5:11Tough for Grace, Yes, thank you. Then after that you get The
- 5:15Predator, which was twenty eighteen that had a great cast, but it was
- 5:17mostly disappointing. Then you get to Pray, which I loved. I think
- 5:21that may actually be my favorite of the franchise that came out in twenty twenty
- 5:25two, and then Predator bad Lands is scheduled for twenty twenty five. Aren't
- 5:29you guys excited? Yeah, I'm hoping. I'm hoping they get Dudakov.
- 5:38Now put Predator bad Lands the Rise of Doudakov. Eleven year old me would
- 5:46be super excited for that one. So in between Predator two and Predators,
- 5:49you had the crossovers. That's where you got the Alien Versus Predator movies that
- 5:54came out. There was two of those. Those are also disappointing. So
- 5:57Predators that came out in twenty ten sort of revital lies to franchise, right,
- 6:02So I'm gonna give you the rotten tomatoes scores on these real quick.
- 6:05All right, Oh, here we go. Try the original Predator certified fresh
- 6:11eighty percent. All right, Predator two thirty percent, and that's being generous.
- 6:18I'm sorry. Then Alien Versus Predator comes out that was twenty two percent.
- 6:26Aliens Versus Predator Requiem was even worse, that was twelve percent. Then
- 6:31you get Predators, which I liked, that was higher. That was sixty
- 6:34five percent. Okay, no where to go but up from the host one
- 6:39pretty much. Then the Predator, which was the one in twenty eighteen that
- 6:44was underperforming down at thirty fourty percent, and then Pray the one that I
- 6:48loved certified fresh ninety four percent. So the highest scoring Predator film in the
- 6:56franchise is Prey. Now, there's two other things that I need to mention.
- 7:00If you're going to mention the Predator franchise, you cannot leave out the
- 7:05two short films that I forgot existed, and that is in twenty sixteen Predator
- 7:14versus Colonial Marines, and the one that needs to be in my rotation each
- 7:18and every single year in twenty eighteen, the Predator Holiday Special. Oh man,
- 7:30that is a I'm watching that immediately when we're done with this show,
- 7:33I am too. It's gonna be Christmas in June. Why does that feel
- 7:41like just the Star Wars Christmas Special? Just? Oh no? I think
- 7:44this has the potential to be way worse. Here's the crazy part about all
- 7:49of this, With somebody went to a production house. I was like,
- 7:54I got an idea. I'm like, what do you got. It's like
- 7:57remember the Predator franchise? Like yeah, cool, how about we give them
- 8:00a Christmas Special? And they're like, dude, here's a check, here's
- 8:05here's the money. What else do you need? How's this not gonna fail?
- 8:13The good news is it is on YouTube. Uh, and I believe
- 8:18I know what. I will be watching this evening and if for some reason,
- 8:22uh, my wife leaves me between now and after that film, you
- 8:28will have known why. But if she comes back for a Predator versus Colonial
- 8:35Marines, then she's a keeper. Yeah. That's that's the true test.
- 8:39It's not just a It's not just the bronx tailed test. I know you
- 8:43know which is does she open your car door for you after you're open it
- 8:46for her? But also does she come back for a Predator versus Colonial Marines.
- 8:52You can't netflix and chill to either of those two movies. Like that's
- 8:58when they what happened? Man, we were just watching Predator versus Colonial Marines
- 9:05and she had to go. I really thought she was the one. We
- 9:16had some wine, we had some nice, nice order foot on my favorite
- 9:24versus Colonial Marine. I really, I swear to god, I cannot wait.
- 9:28I'm gonna watch both of these Predator short films after we're done here,
- 9:31and I'm going to costume change. The first one I have to watch will
- 9:33be the Holiday special, So I'm gonna throwing a Santa hat and a Predator
- 9:37mask and I'm absolutely going to watch that. And then I'm gonna switch into
- 9:39a Colonial hat uh and grab a musket al sit and watch Predator versus Colonial
- 9:46Marines. And that's when we get a call from there, going he's gone.
- 9:50He has dementia. Now I don't know. I'm shipping him back to
- 9:54the States, find a spot for him. Speaking of coming back to the
- 10:01States. Outside of all the exciting Predator news, there is some fun Treehouse
- 10:05news to share with you guys. So we've been promoting Vermafest. That is
- 10:13the Pause in the City concert Vermafest for the second time in honor of our
- 10:18friend and former head of Pause in the City. Mark Verma. Was huge
- 10:22on the show for many many years, and by huge, I mean idiot,
- 10:26and we loved him dearly, and you know, he passed away just
- 10:31a few years ago, and in his memory, in his honor, Pause
- 10:35in the City puts on a heavy metal concert because Mark Verma loved a few
- 10:41things in his life. One was dogs and rescuing them, and two was
- 10:46heavy effing metal. So they honor him by putting on the concert. Raises
- 10:50all sorts of great money for the dogs in need from Pause in the City.
- 10:54And that concert is Saturday, June fifteenth at the Factory in Deep La
- 11:00that's where you can see Drowning Pool among others. But there's also a pre
- 11:03party at Three Nations Brewery in Carrollton right off of thirty five and the original
- 11:09plan for us helping to promote the concert and everything, Trey and Rajer are
- 11:15going to go to the concert, also going to the pre party at Three
- 11:18Nations Brewery same day on June fifteenth for Vermafest. And the news I have
- 11:24to share with you guys is this turns out air Fair guy really really pretty
- 11:30hot and tempting. So I too will now be coming to Vermafest June fifteenth
- 11:37at the Factory and Three Nations Brewery. Yay listen, Thank you guys,
- 11:43sha the compulsory fanfare. So not only is it great news for me and
- 11:52maybe for you guys that I will be at Vermafest twenty twenty four in just
- 11:58a couple of weeks, there's even better news for Trey, and that is
- 12:03while I'm in town, I need a place to stay, and who better
- 12:05They wouldn't have buddy, Trey. Isn't that right? Isn't that right?
- 12:07Tray? That's not me? Plank, Oh that's yours. You knew I
- 12:16was gonna propose this. No, I just shoul Oh you just you just
- 12:22you accidentally hit the laughter button on your road cast. It was I think
- 12:26I think it hit itself when you said it reaction. No, let's try
- 12:31let's try it again, Trey. I'm coming to town. I'm gonna stay
- 12:35on your couch. I like my version better. No, seriously, can
- 12:45can Can I stay with you while I'm in town? No, Trey,
- 12:50seriously, bit aside, I'm flying into town. Can I please stay with
- 12:54you? No, I'm serious, Tray, Please step out of the treehouse
- 13:00for a moment and be my actual friend. Can I please day with you?
- 13:03Okay, I mean step out of the treehouse, climb down? I
- 13:05love you, Dan? No, seriously, Yes, Oh that's what I
- 13:15mean. That's your buddy. You got a king sized bed, don't you.
- 13:18I do? Okay, See, that's plenty of room for you and
- 13:22me. And like I said in a previous episode, it ain't gay as
- 13:24long as Daisy Thatchua was between us. Yeah, that would interrupt Daisy Daisy
- 13:31has three quarters of the bed, and I'm sorry, there's no I get
- 13:35one quarter, Daisy gets three. You could just put like a couple of
- 13:39pillows in between you, and then Daisy can sit on top of the pillows
- 13:41and then you guys can split the bed in half. That's that's easy.
- 13:48No, oh man, okay, there there are there. There are three
- 13:54things in this world that after you get above the age of thirty you should
- 14:01not ask. What's that? Someone to help you move? Agreed? Wait,
- 14:07wait, hang on, hang on, hang on, come on.
- 14:13Oh my buttons don't work. Now, what the hell that's the wrong one?
- 14:15Hang on? All right, say it again, Trey help you move.
- 14:20Agreed to take you or pick you up from the airport at an ungodly
- 14:24hour. Also agreed to stay with him. Hard disagree. I think it's
- 14:31totally fine to to stay with a buddy over the age of thirty. Yeah.
- 14:35I've stayed with like, I've gone to like, you know, Chicago
- 14:39and New York, and we know all those. If I had a two
- 14:43bedroom place, I would say, yes, of course you're welcome. Yeah,
- 14:48but you have a what about you? I have a have a twin
- 14:54bed. You're more than welcome to stay here in Mesquite in a twin beds.
- 14:58Sorry, looks you're I would have asked, but you heard him,
- 15:01Trey. You heard him right there, he said, Mesquite. I'm out.
- 15:05You actually live in an area of town where I want to be.
- 15:09Yeah, yes, i'd live in an area of town when the Applebee's closes
- 15:13at six. Even Applebee's doesn't want to be there. But yeah, no,
- 15:20I mean there's a there's plenty of there's three, three dogs, but
- 15:24there's plenty of room on the twin bed that you'll probably fall out of.
- 15:28But he's got a king size that he doesn't even utilize the majority of the
- 15:31space. So okay, look like bit aside, what about your couch,
- 15:41h I mean upset the cat. The cat sleeps on the couch. A
- 15:50cat can sleep anywhere. I don't think they care, but I mean he
- 15:56can have the No, actually I care about that ra because I need to
- 15:58make sure I don't wake up in the middle of the night with a cat
- 16:02claw my jugular. They are all trying to kill us. That is a
- 16:07fact I don't I don't want in the middle of the night. Trey's cat,
- 16:12Julie is putting on its Predator mask and convincing me to get off of
- 16:17his couch. I would watch that too. Predator versus Cats. Just imagine
- 16:22the Predators with the laser pointers, with the cat a laser pointer and a
- 16:34ball of yorn from the makers of Predators versus Colonial Marines Cats. Actually,
- 16:49I think you could make that work because Raja, I've seen you post a
- 16:52video of this. There's a guy on YouTube. He's got a channelhere.
- 16:55He takes all these great movies and he puts his black cat in the films.
- 16:59Yes, and so I think you could. I think I need to
- 17:02check to see if he's done that with the Predator franchise. I think he's
- 17:04got top Gun as one. And I did post the Titanic one was hilarious.
- 17:07Oh yeah, oh I'm seeing now you remember the old video game duck
- 17:11Hunt. Yes, I do. My couch. Let me let me think
- 17:22about that. It's twenty five years old and uh not a lot of cushion
- 17:27or support. So, uh, you might want to think about your erectors.
- 17:33Oh I am. That's why I'm asking to stay with each other.
- 17:41I was just about to ask him if I need to be here for this
- 17:42part of the in my fantasy. Yes, I need someone to watch you
- 17:53know what, I'll just get an Airbnb. That was the wrong button there.

- 18:42around and that includes helping out Treehouse listeners, including one Joe N Jackson,
- 18:48who gave you guys a call because she had some tree limbs on her roof
- 18:52and things damage like so many people had, especially across some northern portions of
- 18:56the Metroplex, and to give you guys a call, which was great,
- 19:03But your guy Keith was there same day, got tree limbs off of her
- 19:07roof for inspected the roof saw that right now the roof is fine, which
- 19:14was great news for her because her house is less than ten years old and
- 19:17she's already on her second roof, and like a lot of people, she
- 19:19didn't exactly you know, have a ton of money laying around to fork over
- 19:23for a one percent deductible. So kudos to you, Daniel and to Keith
- 19:29getting out to help someone same day with all that craziness. Yeah, and
- 19:33Dan, that's that's what we try to do. We understand that this is

- 20:23com. You're in the Treehouse Christmas Online threehouseonair dot com. This segment of
- 20:42the Treehouse is brought to you by Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration for your free
- 20:48roof inspection and property walk about type situation called Daniel and Kerry Cook at eight
- 20:53three three Cook DFW. That's eight three three Cook DFW, the website cookdfw
- 21:00dot com. All the storms that keep rolling through North Texas, now's the
- 21:04time to get that roof inspected, to see how your roof fared and if
- 21:08it can sustain the next storm that you know is going to come. So
- 21:12eight through three Cook DFW, the website, cookdfw dot com. In that
- 21:18commercial break, I asked to try and Raj if they wanted to play a
- 21:22little game called drunk or special needs almost daily with myself. Yes. And
- 21:33this is the difference between living in Los Angeles and moving back to Texas is
- 21:38in LA we would be at the Den on sunset after our shows at the
- 21:42Laugh Factory and we would play a game called gay or European. So you
- 21:48have to figger out if you pick somebody at the bar and you go gay
- 21:51or European. And this is Texas where you can do this game. I
- 21:56love it well, I mean and right, we're being honest. Sometimes you
- 21:59might get the occasional crossover. Oh that would be amazing. I mean,
- 22:03you might get a gay European and you also may get a drunk special needs
- 22:07individual. So the reason why, the reason why I ask you guys if
- 22:11you want to play, or the reason I ask you guys if you're familiar
- 22:15with drunk or special needs, is because I got a really good version of
- 22:19this not that long ago. So we are at here on Saint John,
- 22:25Tara and I are at the end of peak, nearing the end of peak
- 22:29wedding season, and we were doing an event a while back, had a
- 22:33complete buyout of a venue of a restaurant for a wedding and a reception,
- 22:40and we were standing near the entrance, sort of keeping guard, make sure
- 22:44no people wander into it because it's a private event, right, So for
- 22:49people walk up. Got a older couple male female, I assumed we're a
- 22:56husband and wife, and then a young ish couple I would say late thirties,
- 23:03maybe mid to late thirties and female and male, and they were peeking
- 23:10into the restaurant looking around, and I'm just I walk over, just making
- 23:14sure they're not trying to you know, there are no wedding crashes at our
- 23:17events. And the younger gentleman had the look on his face where in my
- 23:25brain it was like a flashing sign that read is he drunk or is he
- 23:30special needs? Because when you have a certain facial expression, it's really difficult
- 23:40to tell which you are at a certain point. Now, sometimes it's more
- 23:48obvious, right if someone's just drunk or someone is severe special needs, whatever,
- 23:53But sometimes there's that gray area where you're really not quite sure or which
- 24:00side of the spectrum he's on. Yeah, and I still don't know because
- 24:07they started talking there apparently getting married next year, and they're looking at different
- 24:11venues, and so I'm talking to the girl that's going to be the bride
- 24:15and the guy that I'm trying to decipher is he drunk or special needs?
- 24:18Is the groom? And so not only am I trying to figure out is
- 24:22he just drunk? Is he special needs? Could he be both at the
- 24:26same time, or is he there enough mentally to even consent? To be
- 24:33married. So anyway, I still don't know what this guy which side of
- 24:41that spectrum he fell, because when he started talking and asking questions about the
- 24:47place, I don't even feel comfortable trying to mimic the way he sounded without
- 24:55without coming across as horrifically offensive. Okay, but let's just say the way
- 25:00because of our ages here in the treehouse, the way we all grew up
- 25:06in elementary school and saying certain things and certain gestures that are now very foreboten
- 25:11and rightfully so, would get us some trouble today. Back then, it
- 25:15was just like, okay, that's just what you did. So again,
- 25:18I don't feel comfortable re enacting how he sounded without being put in canceled jail.
- 25:26So you guys ever played drunk for special needs? Nope? Really?
- 25:32M hmm, Well, Rag, you need to hang out with I guess
- 25:36me and trademark. Yes, that's what I'm saying. I'm all about this
- 25:40game. I'm like in my head, I'm like I'm gonna win this.
- 25:45I can offer you an opportunity to play four nights a week. No,
- 25:52really, it really was. It was really really bad, Like this guy
- 25:56really was. He was he was doing his like now and going down that
- 26:02path. That's okay. So my question is the bride. Was the bride
- 26:07doing the same totally normal okay, totally totally normal quote unquote. You know,
- 26:14she did not seem to be impaired in the way he was. But
- 26:18at the same time, the parents didn't seem bothered by any of it,
- 26:22which is why I was thinking, well, maybe his special needs and they're
- 26:26just letting him walk around with a beer and it looked like a beer can,
- 26:30but for all I know, they put juice in it. I have
- 26:32no idea. Did they put a tennis ball on his fork? Since they
- 26:40weren't sitting down eating, I don't know what they did to protect him.
- 26:47Was he was he in a suit and new balance? He was not?
- 26:52No, no, he was. He was actually typical dress for island tourists.
- 26:56And you know, Travis matthew hat T shirt would look to be like,
- 27:02you know, shorts or maybe swim trunk type of thing. Flip flops,
- 27:06which I thought were a courageous choice given his state. Were they on
- 27:11the right feet? I don't know, you know what Trey, uh they
- 27:18I'm not sure, but it did cross my mind that the r in the
- 27:22l was a new brand of flip flop I hadn't heard of. It wasn't
- 27:30a rough lor, and it was right left version. Okay, yeah,
- 27:37so I don't Okay. Maybe here's the backstory in my head is maybe there
- 27:42was some like they've got together, they've been together for a while, they
- 27:48get engaged. Uh, he suffered some sort of brain injury. Uh,
- 27:52and they're like, well, we can't, you can't not marry, So
- 27:57we're gonna have to do that, even though Jeff isn't the first Jeff you
- 28:03met. He's a different Jeff now, but we have to because we love
- 28:06him. Or now, maybe it's sort of like like it like the Harrison
- 28:11Ford movie regarding Henry. Now, maybe he's a more likable Jeff. Yes,
- 28:15or it's like, goddamn, you're marrying Jeff. He keeps doing goddamn
- 28:18shots, like before we're going to this venue, he's gonna sound like a
- 28:22special needs kid, or we have to pretend like we're not ales. That's
- 28:29right, buddy, you can have whatever you want on that. Honey.
- 28:33You're getting close to thirty. It's time to settle down to find a husband
- 28:37any means necessary. You're starting to get to where you're not a catch and
- 28:49expiration dates coming up. Jeff can't tell the difference, so he's just happy
- 28:56you're letting him touch it. Yeah, and you put on his corrective shoes
- 29:03and let's go check out this venue. The good news is Jeff has no
- 29:08idea if that risotto's cooked properly is just just give him a bag of marbles,
- 29:15Trey, You don't. You don't want to give Jeff any weapons.
- 29:19You give him a bag of skittles. You tell him they're marbles. He'll
- 29:26still chew on them, but at least they'll be preoccupied for a while.
- 29:33Wow, what is it? Did we ever come to a conclusion? No,
- 29:40it's still a mystery to me. I have no idea. Did they
- 29:45Are they booking a wedding with y'all? No, this is where the the
- 29:48other side or the other angle of drunk or special needs came into play.
- 29:52That is, they already had someone that they're signed on to with a different
- 29:56company. And I told him as I, Oh, yeah, that's that's
- 30:00that's a good company. You're in good hands. They'll be happy to take
- 30:03care of you. And then they kept asking questions. I'm like, what
- 30:04is with you people I'm working. Maybe they were all special needs, and
- 30:12if that was the case, I'm looking around the entire facility. It's like,
- 30:15okay, where's your handler because you got four that are running amok and
- 30:22they're near the ocean at night, and that's dangerous. You need to put
- 30:29I need, I need four bells. Make sure we know where you guys
- 30:33are at all times so you don't wander off into the ocean at night.
- 30:37I don't know if you can hear a bell underwater, but okay, you
- 30:41can hear it start to disappear as it goes into the Yeah. So anyway,
- 30:47I was curious if you guys are we're familiar with Drunker special needs.
- 30:51Oh, I'm sure Trey's got a thousand stories. Love that. Yeah,
- 30:56that's every night. I'm never I've never had that situation where I've had I've
- 31:10had to play, but I am fascinated by the story. Now. I
- 31:12really want to know, Oh that kid it was because in my head,
- 31:15it's like, what if something happened, Like, you know, what if
- 31:18something happened and they're still like I still love him, mom, that be
- 31:21like, well he's not right anymore, you know what I mean? He's
- 31:23not, but we're still gonna We're still gonna do this. And I'm like,
- 31:26I respect that I play the more generic game drunk or Stupid. Oh
- 31:33that's a way easier game. Yeah, I know it's not to me these
- 31:41people, Well yeah, to me, I think drunk or Stupid is is
- 31:48more like that's that's that's You're you're gonna get more of a crossover, I
- 31:52think on that one, I've been both at the same time. So I'm
- 31:56just saying, oh, we all have Look, this treehouse is not made
- 32:01of glass. If it was looking the windows you're listening to the Treehouse.
- 32:21Visit us online at Treehouse OnAir dot com. Time out to talk to Jacqueline
- 32:30from Brooks Plumbing here in the Treehouse for any and all of your plumbing wants
- 32:35and needs. Give her a call to one four three six eight thirty eight
- 32:37thirty eight the website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. With the power outages poststorm,
- 32:44also the power outages that we've experienced a couple of years ago during Snowmageddon,
- 32:49generators are circulating back into the conversation for people's homes. Is that something
- 32:54that you can assist with with at Brooks Plumbing Jaqueline. I don't have a
- 33:00generator in my own home, but we're deeply considering it at this point in
- 33:05time. And I got actually a phone call this morning from my IT guy,
- 33:09who is just insanely tech smart but not plumbing bright, and I love
- 33:14him. And he called me and he goes, hey, I picked up
- 33:16a pro Paane generator from home depot. I said okay, and he goes,
- 33:20could we like hard pipe this in with my gas from at MISS And
- 33:24I was like, well, I said, I want to. I want
- 33:27to make something perfectly clear. I was like, pro Paine and gas are
- 33:30not the same thing. And he goes, oh, I never really thought
- 33:34about that before. And I said, you know, hypothetically speaking, I
- 33:37said, I am not a licensed plumber. I feel that we could very
- 33:42possibly, you know, plumb to connect to your existing ATMOS gas supply line.
- 33:46I said, but you just told me you have a pro Pain generator,
- 33:51and I said, so, I can't answer that question, but I
- 33:54want everybody to remember when you're working with combustible materials that that's danger, especially
- 34:00when it comes to exhaust fumes. If you're running generators or outside space heaters,
- 34:07you've got to remember that not all exhaust can just exist in the house.
- 34:13I want to remind everybody we had children that were passing away in Snowmageddon
- 34:16because the parents were trying to put space heaters or stuff in the house that
- 34:21were meant to be used outside where there was kind of some sort of direct
- 34:23airflow, and people were dying from carbon monoxide poisoning. So, if you're
- 34:29not sure about your combustible materials or their exhaust systems, even if you just
- 34:34want to talk about it, I want it. Would rather you call me
- 34:36and air quotes waste my time versus blowing up your house. And that's why
- 34:40my it guy does it stuff and why we do the boom boom stuff.

- 35:37Uh. So we've already been a fun action pack show. Uh.
- 35:42We now know a lot more about the Predator franchise than we thought possible.
- 35:45We also know that Trey doesn't want any of us staying anywhere in or even
- 35:52around his apartment because nearing one of the breaks, I sent him a text.
- 35:54I was like balcony question mark and just middle finger emoji back and then
- 36:00uh and and and then we learned this stuff from the you know, the
- 36:06previous segment about drunk or special needs a new game that you can play from
- 36:13the trios, which now I'm thinking maybe we do a board game somehow,
- 36:17but I'm not sure how you do that version of a bucket. Uh.
- 36:24Speaking of products, are you guys familiar with the popcorn bucket wars that have
- 36:31hit movie theaters this summer? I can. I got the special limited edition
- 36:40one when I saw the Top Gun movie. Oh what did that popcorn bucket
- 36:45look like it just looked like the thruster from the from the jet. Gotcha,
- 36:51So that was where you put your hand through to get the popcorn.
- 36:53I mean you could take that part off, right, I mean it was
- 36:55it looked like the metal container with the rivets on it and then had the
- 37:00the stamp where it wasn't. It was kind of like monochromatic. But it's
- 37:02just like Top Gun Maverick. So I still have I've got two of those,
- 37:06and I think those were from a movie theater prices. I think it
- 37:09was eighteen thousand dollars. Oh my god, that actually sounds about right.
- 37:15Yeah, it does. Well. The popcorn bucket wars have now carried over
- 37:22into movie theaters this year because rog you said you got one from Top Gun
- 37:28Maverick from a couple of years ago. Well, now there's a popcorn bucket
- 37:32war going on in movie theaters because Dune Too came out and they had a
- 37:40special edition popcorn bucket. Did you guys see this? I have not?
- 37:45No, here you go. This is the Dune to popcorn bucket special edition.
- 37:52Oh no, where you stick your hand into the maw of the sandworm
- 38:00from Dune and also one could argue it looks a little bit like, uh,
- 38:06you know, the pit in Star Wars. It also looks a lot
- 38:10like just a big old anus on top of a bucket of potform. When
- 38:15you started this conversation and got a little bit into it, because I didn't
- 38:17know what you were talking about, my first thought was, it's too bad
- 38:22there aren't adult theaters around anymore, and this could be done too. We're
- 38:36done too eight five. So yeah, you can stick your whole fist in
- 38:47one of those oh, the one of the actors, or the popcorn thing,
- 38:53well, certainly the popcorn thing, because the done too special Edition Popcorn
- 38:58Bucket is definitely raised a few eyebrows. Think and you know what though,
- 39:07No, there's another big movie that's going to be coming out this summer that
- 39:14didn't want to be left out of the popcorn bucket Wars, right, And
- 39:22and that's where Deadpool and Wolverine decided to insert their popcorn Bucket into the war
- 39:30as a contributor. So in case you're listening and not watching on patreon dot
- 40:02com slash Treehouse on Air, where all episodes of the Treehouse are available in
- 40:07video form, you've got the classic yellow and black masked Wolverine popcorn bucket.
- 40:16It's facing up and popcorn is now being dropped from above into it's rather large
- 40:24mouth. I would say widely agape. Yeah, and Deadpool. You can
- 40:34just see the hand of Deadpool and he's caressing it gently. Boom, Yeah,
- 40:38caress the cheek booped the wolverine's nose, and then the popcorn begins to
- 40:44fall. And that's not all, gentlemen, because since it's a Deadpool Wolverine
- 40:49promo, they go above and beyond the norm. So back to the commercial
- 40:53for the Wolverine popcorn bucket. Popcorn and then the hot butter all down the
- 41:13face of Wolverine. Uh if you're not yeah, that'sh we say. Can
- 41:22we say butter facial? That was a hot butter facial? That the poor
- 41:30wolverine, That poor you, jackman. I love their friendship. It's so
- 41:35willing to take a beating for this. It's so great. Yeah. Uh,
- 41:42here's the thing, the first one. And I will definitely purchase the
- 41:45ladder. Yeah, I think I think Roger, since you bought the top
- 41:49gun popcorn bucket where you stick your whole hand into the thruster, now you've
- 41:53got the dune too, sandworm slash anus looking popcorn buck get yeah, into
- 42:00the Wolverine popcorn bucket. I feel like we now need a tree house popcorn
- 42:07bucket, and I'll work on that, but I'm sure it's gonna, you
- 42:10know, look inappropriate, like tree bush type stuff. But yeah, I
- 42:15think we should have a treehouse popcorn bucket. Yeah. And the thrust I
- 42:17meant like the engine that is. I don't think that's called the thrust,
- 42:21but the engine is what you had it right with thrust Okay, I thought,
- 42:24so get elbow deep right into that thruster. Yeah, I mean,
- 42:29I mean you you can get a lot of things deep into the dune one
- 42:37elbow Friday night shoulder. You'll get an entire appendage into that one. You'll
- 42:46get tone, You'll get to the danger zone there, good tone, too
- 43:00close for missiles. I'm switching to. I don't want to know how you
- 43:14get butter into that one. I have an idea, but I think that's
- 43:21the reason why Trade doesn't want me staying with it. So not only UH
- 43:40podcast or special needs, I believe we have our new shirt also the that
- 43:54will now be the title of this episode. I'll see you next time.
- 44:00At the tree outs m.
