- 0:36[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, what's up, everybody?
- 0:37[SPEAKER_04]: Welcome back to another episode of The Dog's Podcast, Josh, all your host, happy Monday, everybody.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_04]: Let me know immediately here in the comments I want to get the conversation going with you guys.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_04]: How are you feeling about the Browns' first preseason game against the Bears?
- 0:52[SPEAKER_04]: From Saturday, now that we're two days past, with some time to let everything soak in, go back, think about what we saw, read some of the reports, the comments after the game.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_04]: How are you feeling right now about the Browns as they enter week two of the NFL preseason this year?
- 1:10[SPEAKER_04]: So this week, obviously, is a big one.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_04]: The Browns have their joint practice with the bills on Thursday.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to talk about the schedule for the week real quick.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_04]: I want to talk just basic takeaways for me after a couple of days to think about everything.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, we'll talk about quarterbacks.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_04]: But I don't want the conversation today.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_04]: I know people get so tired of hearing about the quarterbacks only.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_04]: We've got other stuff to talk about, other players and positions that we need to discuss.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_04]: and then I've got some predictions, not reports, nothing concrete on my end, just my gut feeling on how this week is going to play out.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_04]: Got a couple of voice mails to go through a message from the website.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_04]: It's a great morning and I just appreciate everybody being here today.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_04]: We'll do a preview for the bills game later in the week.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, we'll do the recap of the reaction show after the game is over and all that.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_04]: But right now, let's dive into how things are looking for the Browns this week.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_04]: Before I do make sure you guys go to join the dogs dot com, that's a great, great online Browns fan community.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_04]: If you want to get in the guest today in the discord, you get access to our private discord by the way, they were breaking down the all 22 film and they're from the preseason game it was.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_04]: If you really want to get into some good, strong conversations about the Browns and stuff like that with other people that just love this team, you know, to death.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_04]: That's the place to be joined the dogs dot com, make sure you guys get in there.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_04]: Check it out.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_04]: We love to meet all you guys.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_04]: So I think what I want to do here, um,
- 2:48[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, my name's Caleb.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_03]: I'm from Cleveland.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_03]: I've called a couple times, but I'm calling a day late just because I needed a day to marinate and get my thoughts together.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_03]: I thought our young guys looked unreal in this preseason game.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_03]: I think Casey looked unbelievable.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_03]: I think Boston, even though I think he had one catch, he was the first down for 15 yards, and you just got to see his size against another
- 3:18[SPEAKER_03]: NFL defense.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he just jumped over the guy caught the ball as fantastic.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_03]: Dylan Samson ran for a big chunk.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_03]: That was awesome KC got you know, he got the part return for like 40 yards or something like that
- 3:34[SPEAKER_03]: I think they looked amazing.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: I may be overzealous here, but I traded after the draft in my dynasty football league.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_03]: AJ Brown and Zay Flowers for Boston and Casey.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a very optimistic Browns fan, I don't know if it's really gonna live up to those two guys, but I'm really excited to see them on my team.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: And, man, unfortunately, to Sean looked all right, but should or might still be the guy, you let me know.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_04]: All right, Caleb, thank you so much for the voice, you know, yeah, it's good to hear from you again.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_04]: The young guys in, that is where I want to start the conversation a couple of days later, just thinking about that game.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_04]: The Browns are, are we the youngest team in the NFL?
- 4:19[SPEAKER_04]: I think we're the youngest team.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_04]: If not, we're one of the like on average, the average age of our players, one of the youngest, if not the youngest in the entire NFL.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_04]: And you saw that in the game on Saturday,
- 4:33[SPEAKER_04]: The starters, the starting offense, starting defense.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_04]: And again, I understand we were playing into the bears back up some both sides.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_04]: So I got to take over the grain of salt.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_04]: But I thought the two units look good.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_04]: I thought the starting offense move the ball well.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_04]: It looked like there was some cohesion there.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_04]: And like I said, on the reaction show, the fact that we were able to pick up a first in 25, like that's not something we would have ever done in years past under Kevin with that offense.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_04]: So that was encouraging to see the Brown's defense forced what a three and out on the first two drives.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_04]: I believe for the bears.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_04]: So things like that, the game started out, okay, it was once the backups took over that everything just fell apart as far as, you know, an actual football game on the field is considered.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: So.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_04]: The offense looked bad, the defense got gashed, and that's because our backups are so young.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_04]: We've had a lot of UDFAs out there playing in this preseason game.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_04]: You know, rookies that weren't even drafted, and you can find value with UDFAs.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_04]: There are plenty of them who come in the league and become impact players for their teams and starters.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_04]: But not that many, so the Browns are definitely behind the eight ball with who they have as their depth pieces.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_04]: But Caleb to your point, Casey Concepcion, been telling you guys since the draft.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_04]: Once this kid gets on to an NFL football field in an actual game situation, you're going to see.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly how the Browns plan to use Casey and exactly how strong his skill set really is.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_04]: And you saw it Saturday, you saw it in just one half of football.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_04]: He caught over the three passes for 27 yards on four targets.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_04]: So right there, I mean, you went into a fantasy football reference.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_04]: You got four targets to this guy, just in the first half of a preseason game, where we're trying to just feel things out and he had the one end-around rush for 14 yards and the touchdown.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_04]: He had a punt return for 31 yards, 72 all-purpose yards.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_04]: in one half of football.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_04]: In his first ever NFL action.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care if it's regular season, preseason, the kids never stepped onto an NFL football field before in his life.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_04]: In any situation against an opposing team, and he puts up 72 all purpose.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_04]: That's pretty sweet.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_04]: That's pretty sweet.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so that's encouraging to see your right Denzel Boston.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_04]: I know it was just the one grab.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, it was smooth.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_04]: It was fluid.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_04]: It was effortless.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I think he's going to be a very good receiver for us.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, Dylan Samson, I am an I'm optimistic.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_04]: I'm praying that this coaching staff knows how to use him.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_04]: Because Kevin and his staff last year didn't know how to use Dylan Samson.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_04]: But after that, it's like they had no clue.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm hoping that they know how to use Dylan Samson because I think his once he gets a crease and he gets up to full speed, he's gone.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_04]: I posted that on social media and somebody said, he's not that fast because the safety was able to come over and make the tackle in that screen pass.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_04]: And I said, well, that's because the safety is a professional football player.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_04]: It made a very good pursuit angle and pinned Dylan Samson to the sideline.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_04]: He couldn't, there was nowhere to go.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_04]: I think if that screen pass of Dylan Samson streaking that fast up the seam, more toward the middle of the field,
- 8:20[SPEAKER_04]: And there's no sideline to pin them against.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_04]: And he's got more area of the field to work away from the pursuit of the safety.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_04]: That's a touchdown.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_04]: He's gone.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm very excited about Dylan Samson.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_04]: Quintion Judkins, I know it was a rough outing for all of our running backs in terms of running the ball.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_04]: We just, we need the offensive line to one, get decided upon who the heck is it going to be?
- 8:43[SPEAKER_04]: The five starters, let them get some cohesion, some chemistry together, and let's really start building this run game.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe a little overreaction on my part over the weekend with how bad the run game was the entire game but it's coming from two straight years now of Really three 20 23 wasn't all that much better either not being able to run the ball very effectively so we need to get back to Cleveland Brown's AFC North being able to run the football
- 9:17[SPEAKER_04]: That's, if you want to help out whichever quarterback ends up playing, that's the best way to do it, to be able to have an effective run game.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_04]: So Caleb, I appreciate your voice, my word buddy in the comments, let Caleb know.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_04]: What did you guys think about his dynasty fantasy football trade, AJ Brown and Zay Flowers for Denzel Boston and Casey, concept Cone, Caleb, I'll give you my two cents.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_04]: I love Denzel Boston.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_04]: I love Casey, concept Cone.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_04]: Putting them both on the same roster in replacement of AJ Brown and Zayf flowers, I probably would have picked one or the other buddy.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be honest with you.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_04]: I probably would have gone one or the other.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_04]: My philosophy over the years has always kind of been, I don't like the roster Browns players, dynasty football, because...
- 10:07[SPEAKER_04]: just hasn't worked out all that well in the past.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_04]: But hey, we're hoping that we're entering a new era and things are going to be different.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_04]: So Caleb, thank you for the voicemail.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_04]: Listen, everybody, the plan for the week.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_04]: This is what Todd Mung can set for practice, heading into a preseason week to against the bills.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_04]: So today's Monday, it's going to be Shidorah Sanders Day with the ones, the team will be in shells.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_04]: Tomorrow will be Dishon Watson's Day with the ones, the team will be in
- 10:37[SPEAKER_04]: in preparation for Thursday's joint practice with the bills which will be a full padded full go kind of like a faux scrimmage.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a preseason game obviously, but it's going to be very much full go situational scrimmaging against another team.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_04]: So it's going to be a lot of first team bills offense and defense versus first team rounds offense and defense.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_04]: he did say monk and said that the Sean and should or will split reps on Thursday and that joint practice and then obviously Friday is the walk through Saturday is the game should or Sanders will start that game now.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to get into a little bit of prediction stuff here.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_04]: and stuff that has been set.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_04]: So Todd Munken did say after the game on Saturday, I going into it, he felt that, you know, it's still a pretty close competition between Deshawn and Shador and he said it wouldn't be fair to Shador, not to give him the same opportunity to start one of these pre-season games against the bills.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_04]: But here's the kicker in that quote.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_04]: He said, even if he's not playing with a lot of the same guys.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_04]: So I need everybody to understand this
- 11:50[SPEAKER_04]: I got some, I'll go into some other things here in a minute, but the starters are going to get a lot of reps, a lot of full go, contact reps, scrimmage style reps, in practice on Thursday, and I know what's going to happen.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_04]: Should doors are going to go out there on Saturday and the starting O line is going to be the backups, and people are going to freak out and get really mad about it.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_04]: got to understand the ebb and flow of an NFL season preseason all this stuff.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_04]: It would be very, it's it's difficult for a team to go and say, okay, look, all my starters, you guys are going to get a lot of full contact, scrimmage reps on Thursday.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_04]: But then I want you to go out there two days later and do it again.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_04]: teams don't typically do that.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_04]: So this is not like this is a brown specific thing.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to hear any sabotage stuff about this.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm trying to tell you guys up front right now.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_04]: This is common practice for NFL teams.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_04]: So starters getting these reps on Thursday, you're not going to see starters.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_04]: many if any on Saturday, okay?
- 13:02[SPEAKER_04]: And I would predict that the starting offensive line wish to do our Sanders on Saturday is going to consist of potentially, potentially they let Spencer Fano start at left tackle because I think they still want to get him more reps. Again, I was talking about this with somebody over the weekend.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_04]: And they said, well, what did you think about, you know, Fano playing further into
- 13:25[SPEAKER_04]: the quarter than all the other starters.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_04]: And I said he hasn't played left tackle in like two or three years now at Utah.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_04]: He moved over to Wright tackle once Caleb Lomu came to campus.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_04]: So he's making the transition now back to left tackle where he started.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_04]: It's been a few years and now he's at the NFL level.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_04]: He needs the reps.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_04]: He needs reps there to get ready for week one.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_04]: So there's a chance Spencer Fawn of plays.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe the first one or two series with Shidorah and the first team on Saturday.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_04]: If not, it will be to one Jones would be my guess at left tackle starting.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_04]: Left guard, Zion Johnson will not play on Saturday.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_04]: It will probably be Jack Conley who was the first guy up.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_04]: after Johnson came out on Saturday, so I would imagine that stays the same.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_04]: Your starting center will not be Elkton Jenkins.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_04]: It will be Luke Whipler on Saturday, and your right guard, maybe they let Kevin Jenkins, maybe they have him out there for a series or two, just because they're still kind of a battle for right guard, although I think it's pretty much decided.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_04]: If not, it will be K2 Leveston.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_04]: and then at your right tackle will be Austin Barber.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_04]: So that's going to be your starting offensive line when they when the game kicks off and the first series opens up on Saturday against the bills.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_04]: This episode is sponsored by Kaoshi.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_04]: All right, Browns van, you know, we've all messed around with the sports books before, right?
- 14:50[SPEAKER_04]: And let's be honest, you're always kind of playing into the house.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_04]: But with Kaoshi, it's different.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_04]: You're not betting against some sports book.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_04]: You're trading against other real world people.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_04]: There's no house trying to beat you Kaoshi just runs the marketplace.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_04]: So if you think the public is wrong and the Browns can make the playoffs and Todd Munkins first year, or Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, one of those guys can win offensive rookie of the year.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_04]: You can take the other side of the market and then if you're right, that's a big payout for you.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_04]: And it's not just sports either.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_04]: You can trade on other real-world stuff, interest rates, inflation, even wild weather outcomes.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_04]: It works like this.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_04]: Simple yes or no markets, your risk is capped up front and your payout is locked in.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_04]: So if you trust your takes and instincts and I know you guys do, go check out how she

- 16:36[SPEAKER_04]: Bet on anything any time, anywhere.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_04]: We all go!
- 16:43[SPEAKER_04]: As far as receiving options, I would be shocked if Harrel Fan and Junior plays.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_04]: I would be shocked if Jerry Judy plays.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_04]: I could see them giving Casey and Boston a series or two.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_04]: They're not going to play the whole first half like they did with Deshawn Watson though, okay?
- 17:02[SPEAKER_04]: Those guys are locked into starting roles with this offense and they're going to be taking heavy reps, like I've been saying on Thursday.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_04]: We might see them for a little bit, but I think primarily in that first half should or is going to be working with Gage Larvodan, Luke Floria, I don't know, maybe you said your tillman if he's healthy or even still on the team.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_04]: I have no idea what's going on with him, but that's going to be your situation right there.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_04]: Running back and probably going to start with a money marshal and rocket Sanders right out the gate.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_04]: They're not going to start Quintion and I doubt they have Dylan Samson out there.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_04]: in the first half at all in this game.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_04]: So I just want to prepare you guys.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_04]: I know there's a lot of Shador Sanders fans that watch this show too.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_04]: And I think, I was speaking to you, I'm speaking to Browns fans who just want to see Shador get a fair opportunity.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_04]: Just, it's not going to be the same.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_04]: This is not going to be a one for one.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_04]: It's not going to be, okay, to Sean got these guys to start with on the first game.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_04]: Shador's getting these getting, that's not going to happen, okay?
- 18:04[SPEAKER_04]: Todd Muckin' already said, it's not going to happen.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_04]: So,
- 18:08[SPEAKER_04]: Take it for what you will like I said this is it's and it's not them saying well we're going to favor one guy with the other it's the way the preseason works There's a joint practice this week we are scrimmaging on Thursday.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_04]: It's really tough to make the same guys go out and scrimmage yet again I mean it's it's preseason guys teams don't play their stars a lot of times anyway so That's how it's gonna go another thing I wanted to talk about here
- 18:33[SPEAKER_04]: You know, in relation to the quarterback situation, but honestly, just the team overall and how things go, there's another podcast that I listen to a lot and one thing that they say all the time on that show that I love and I try to adopt this as much as I can is they say, stay water, what does that mean?
- 18:52[SPEAKER_04]: So all off season.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_04]: You guys watch the show, we do the content, everything, we have a good time talking about the browns, the players, the draft, and we're all talking about what we hope will happen, what we think can happen, what we predict will happen, and we're using stats and data from last year and other things, comments from coaching staff and all this stuff to try and predict what's going to happen.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_04]: But then we get actual football.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_04]: We get training camp.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_04]: We get practices.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_04]: We get coaches comments.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_04]: We get media reports.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_04]: We get preseason games.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_04]: We get eyes on the football field ourselves.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_04]: And a lot of the stuff that we were hoping for predicting or projecting for the last five or six months, some of that's got to change pretty quick.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_04]: And that's the whole meaning of stay water.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_04]: Water will be even flow wherever it's being directed.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_04]: So when I get new information and I get new details and insights about the team and it's different from what I've been saying, I got to change course and go with what I'm now seeing.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm telling you guys, as much as I was hopeful that Shador Sanders would be able to come into camp and outplayed to Sean Watson because the Sean Watson's just never been good here in Cleveland.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_04]: And Shador's got this entire off season now to prep and train and develop.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_04]: And I think he can come out here and show out and prove that he is definitely without question, the better week one started than to Sean Watson.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_04]: that just didn't happen.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_04]: I wish it would have.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, you guys know that.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_04]: I am over the Deshan Watts and experience.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to watch and play football anymore for my team.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_04]: Deshan Watts and will be the week one starter.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously that hasn't been announced.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_04]: Just telling you guys, he will start week one.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_04]: That's how it's going to go.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, and then part of my, again, Todd Munkin has said that Shador will start Saturday to Sean will play the third quarter.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_04]: Here's a prediction for you guys.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_04]: And I do this sometimes because I want to see if I'm right and I want to put it out there.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_04]: I could very well be wrong about this.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_04]: My prediction,
- 21:09[SPEAKER_04]: Because we've kind of seen things, you know, Todd Munkin, you know, just steer away from what he said he was going to do before now in practice.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_04]: I could see Thursday comes around joint practice with the bills.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_04]: I could see to Sean why we we start to get the reports from the media, from from practice is saying,
- 21:28[SPEAKER_04]: Well, first, you know, the first series in this session ever against the bills, Deshawn Watson took all the starter reps, all the first team reps. And then I could see it being like, well, here we go with the second first team session, Deshawn's backup.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_04]: And I could see it almost going to a, instead of a 50, 50 split in these first team reps, 75, 25 in favor of Deshawn on Thursday.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_04]: And then, once we get to Saturday, whether they say it's gonna happen before the game, or whether they say it's gonna happen after, or they talk about it in the press conference after the game, I've got a feeling Deshawn Watson is not going to play against the bills in the third quarter.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_04]: I got a feeling it's gonna be should-or for the first half, we're gonna come out a half time.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_04]: is going to be doing Gabriel under center.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_04]: And if they don't talk about it before the game is making that switch prepared and say, wait, what's going on?
- 22:18[SPEAKER_04]: It does Sean was supposed to be out here.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_04]: And then after the game, they're probably going to say, well, you know, we got to a point where we said, listen to Sean took a lot of reps on Thursday.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_04]: We didn't really want to put him out here this quick of a turnaround plus.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_04]: We didn't get to see any reps for tail and green.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_04]: in the first preseason game and we wanted to get him some experience so we gave him the fourth quarter.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_04]: That's my prediction, everybody.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_04]: Again, I'm not reporting this.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not saying anybody has said this.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm saying it.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm predicting that's what's going to happen.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_04]: Now I could very well be wrong.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_04]: Third quarter rolls around to Sean Watson's out there and it's exactly the schedule that Todd Munkin said it was going to be.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_04]: I just wouldn't be surprised if it goes Shador, Dylan, tailon.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_04]: And we do not see the Sean Watson in this preseason game.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_04]: That's just a prediction.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_04]: You guys let me know in the comments what you think about that.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_04]: We'll see what happens.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_04]: I'm interested this week.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_04]: I think
- 23:14[SPEAKER_04]: This week is one of those that could be very hoham and, you know, by the book, so to speak, or it could get kind of interesting.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_04]: But let's do another voicemail here real quick, and this one's from one of my favorite people in the world, thriller from Canada.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: Hey guys, filler from Canada, just listen to the latest episode and wanted to say that I really like what Priya and Stacey had to say there was one thing that Priya had mentioned that I kind of disagree with and that is that the Cleveland Browns are trying to sell us on Deshawn Watson.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: that ship has sailed a very long time ago.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: We can all see that he's terrible, he's not regaining his form from when he was with the Texans as well as he is injury prone.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_01]: So what do you do with an asset that has no value and is depreciated every single year?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: Well, at the very least, you control the narrative around him and wait for a possible opportunity, an opportunity like another team that needs a quarterback because of an injury.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: You got to eat probably a whole bunch of guaranteed money, but maybe not all of it.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_01]: or you could maybe get a draft pick back.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: You never know.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: You also have to butter up that agent so that he can convince to show him to get rid of that no trade clause.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: So anyways, that's what I was thinking.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_01]: You guys let me know what you think and go browns.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks for the voice-mouth thriller and I'm just going to say very simply.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_04]: There's no trade coming for the Sean Watson.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_04]: That's not going to happen and we've talked about it on the show.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_04]: I know Justin's talked about it over the the last few months about maybe they're pumping him up, hyping him up, getting him almost showcasing what he can still do and hoping that somebody will come and
- 25:12[SPEAKER_04]: Flip us a draft pick or something to take him off our hands.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, we would have to eat the contract in the money, but at least he would be gone.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_04]: And we could get a little something in return and going to happen.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm telling you guys, not going to happen.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody, no NFL team is taking on that PR hit.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe maybe if he had been any good.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_04]: since he came to Cleveland and there was tape to feel confident that, yes, this guy can still play at a high level, maybe.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe somebody would be dumb enough to do it.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_04]: The tape doesn't exist.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_04]: It's not there.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_04]: It's not gonna happen.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_04]: You know, speaking of some bad tape, you know, I've been watching some things some posts and people have been breaking down film the last couple of days.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_04]: And I said this on the show too, the other night, it was very apparent, as soon as that first team offensive line, exited the game and some pressure started to get into the Sean Watson when he was on a drop back, you started to see like his go-to move when the first read isn't there is panic.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_04]: And it's, I'm not trying to, I'm not saying this because I don't want him to play quarterback, I'm saying this because it's what I saw.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_04]: And just what we saw in 2024, as soon as there's any bit of pressure
- 26:34[SPEAKER_04]: The eyes instead of instead of his eyes staying down fuel going through his progressions trying to find the next guy, his eyes immediately go down he's trying to find and escape route out of the pocket.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: Get me out of this pressure.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_04]: I'm running away and that's how he runs into sacks.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_04]: That's how he got sacked on a play where his first read was Denzel Boston on the left side line.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_04]: He turns.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_04]: He looks.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_04]: Boston's covered.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_04]: He can't throw it there immediately.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_04]: starts to panic and try to figure out how to escape the pocket.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_04]: And he turns and he's even looking to the right side, but he's looking down, trying to find a lane to get out.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_04]: And if he were to just been looking up, when he turned to escape, Isaiah Bond was wide ass open.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_04]: I just stand in there like, oh, if you throw it to me, I'm probably going to accelerate and go score touchdown.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody there.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody really, like with his speed, you hit him, especially if it's not, you know, in the dirt, like we saw them throw a dirt ball to KC.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_04]: Gosh, I hate those dirt balls.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_04]: Another wide open passage should have been completed, but I say bonds wide open.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_04]: Throw the ball, but he's panicking trying to escape because his first read wasn't there.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my gosh, there's a little bit of pressure in the pressure wasn't even that bad on that play.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_04]: He ends up getting sacked anyway because he runs into it.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_04]: Those are the type of things that
- 27:56[SPEAKER_04]: I'm, he's going to start week one.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_04]: I think the Jaguars have a very good defensive front.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_04]: I think Josh Heinz Allen is going to wreak some havoc on our offensive line.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_04]: And I think it's going to get pretty ugly.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_04]: When Deshawn Wattson can't just get rid of the ball immediately on a check down or his first read.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_04]: And he's got to try to figure something out.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_04]: It just, historically hasn't been good.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_04]: And we saw it already.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_04]: In that preseason game, it just wasn't good.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_04]: Bye.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's just kind of where I'm at, just some takeaways here from the game.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_04]: I think that there were some plays where, you know, Shidorah Sanders looked good.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_04]: He, you know, I think his poison the pocket, under pressure, and to rest is, I'll tell you one thing.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_04]: Shidorah's footwork, the other day against the bears, noticeably improved from his footwork as a rookie.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_04]: He has definitely been working on mechanics.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_04]: There's some anticipation stuff with Shoulder that I would like to see better.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_04]: There were some throws that he needs to, he needs to be letting go of the ball, lot sooner than what he is.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_04]: The throw that come back route on Malachi Corley, he was open.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_04]: He was wide open on that pass and Shoulder just threw it way late, gave the defender plenty of time to come back, jump the route and knock the pass away.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: Otherwise that should have been a completion.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: he had one to gauge larver down that was the completion, but it could have been a bigger gain if he'd have thrown the ball on time with anticipation instead of giving the defender more time to react.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_04]: So there's just, there's some things.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_04]: And again, if I can't be critical of sure the matter we're doing, I mean, clearly he's not perfect, just like the Sean's not perfect, just like any quarterback's not perfect.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_04]: There's things he's got to get better at doing.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_04]: And unfortunately, we saw it on the field.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_04]: They were just, there are, there are things.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_04]: There are reasons, the anticipation stuff.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_04]: The, some of the dropback, the, unfortunately, the overthrow, which I know there's Chase Daniels was saying, he thinks the ball was, you know, wet was swept from the center and it slipped and that's why he overthrew.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever, either way, doesn't matter.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_04]: Like, we saw in the field why he has not outright
- 30:14[SPEAKER_04]: just is what it is.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_04]: So that's where it is right now with this Brown's quarterback situation, and I definitely think it's it's Watson Week 1.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_04]: So what else from the game though, can we take away?
- 30:30[SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, the starters,
- 30:32[SPEAKER_04]: the way the starting off and starting defense played was encouraging.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_04]: The backups.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so here we have some depth issues and some information to talk about.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_04]: One of the better defenders on Saturday was Michael Coats Jr.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_04]: He had the the past breakups.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_04]: He had the interception there before halftime.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_04]: Um, for those who aren't familiar, I know I rattle off names sometimes Michael Coats, Jr.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_04]: Rookie, UDFA, undrafted guy out of West Virginia.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_04]: He's an order, rookie.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_04]: I think he's like 25, he might even be almost 26.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_04]: I can't remember.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I know like he is an order, rookie, which we talked about back during the draft as a reason, part of why he probably went undrafted.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_04]: I thought he looked good.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_04]: I thought he looked good.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_04]: I've had a lot of high hopes for Michael Cotes, just because we need somebody a corner.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_04]: We need somebody to step up.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_04]: Unfortunately, he left with an ankle injury, but yesterday Todd Monk and said, should be back this week, it wasn't a severe injury or anything like that.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_04]: So that's great to hear Michael Cotes is okay.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_04]: Nate Evans had a quad injury.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_04]: He's a UDFA corner back also out of Delaware, I believe.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_04]: I should really look that stuff up because I'm just pulling off memory.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_04]: Um, they, he said, he should be fine too, and then Brennan baits the, you know, one of our backup tight ends, I didn't know he left the game injured, but he did, and they said they're going to be seeking waiting for some more information on his injury.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_04]: I don't even think they said exactly what it was, but,
- 32:07[SPEAKER_04]: That that one's not as important because I didn't think he was going to make the roster.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, Nate Evans probably not, you know, probably practice squat candidate, but Michael Coats.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_04]: That's a guy right there that I think as long as he stays healthy, he gets some more experience could definitely make this roster and be, you know, a special teams guy and play some snaps on defense if when needed, you know, for injuries or whatever this season.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_04]: But outside of that man, the depth we talked about the other night, but it's worth talking about again.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_04]: So the Browns are going to have to do something.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_04]: The problem is, what do you do?
- 32:42[SPEAKER_04]: I see a lot of people say, well, can you go out and you've got to sign some, you know, some good veterans or, you know, go make a treat.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_04]: Teams are getting ready for the season right now.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_04]: There's not a lot of players available.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_04]: One who would come in here and be able to make that kind of a difference right away because players who are that good are already on NFL teams.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_04]: And two, if anybody's out there, who is that caliber player that could come in and actually make a difference on, you know, in the second dairy on the defensive line, how do those guys, they get options and we might not be either first option.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_04]: So I know Mary Kay got some flat yesterday because she put out a report that the Browns were, now she didn't say they were signings of the dairy estimate, there she didn't say they had signed him.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_04]: She said, I don't understand how she gets away with some of this stuff.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_04]: She said the Browns are expected to signs the Darious Smith.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_04]: Pretty sure unless it was fake, pretty sure the Darious Smith responded on Instagram or something said, I have a workout with another team tomorrow, I haven't signed anywhere.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_04]: Again, I didn't really look to you guys, let me know in the comments if I'm wrong about that.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't really look too deep into it because it was Sunday and I had family stuff going on.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I don't know if that was actually Zedarius Smith that said that, but either way, it has not come out yet.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_04]: It's not official that they've signed Zedarius Smith.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_04]: They did have him then for a workout last week, and I think that there's a good likelihood that they they sign him, but we'll talk more about Zedarius if they do, but that would be a good addition to the big three, whatever you want to call it.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_04]: Um, edge russures on the defensive line, verse, right, McGuire, get a good veteran presence in there, guy who you know, you can rely on, now he's not going to play it a super high level like he did, you know, three, four years ago when he was younger, but he can still give you something and he's going to give you that veteran experience, because otherwise you're only other option on the edge in that rotation is a UDFA.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not saying the UDFA's can't be good.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just saying you really want to put a little more stock in a veteran experience there, because again,
- 34:58[SPEAKER_04]: We love Jared verse, high level player.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_04]: Alex right has just kind of been a guy throughout his career.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_04]: Now he's had a great training camp, but we'll see Isaiah McGuire is a rotational player and after that, if your next best guy is a UDFA that your hoping can step up, ooh, you are really running a risk.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_04]: in that scenario.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_04]: Todd Munkin said he's hoping to get Michael Junior back this week on the interior of that D line.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_04]: We'll see, I just have zero faith in Michael.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_04]: You guys know that it's been rough a rough, you know, a couple years of his career started out with him.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_04]: Dequenchin, Judkin's really eth him up that bad.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_04]: You know, so the last time, if you guys aren't familiar, the last time,
- 35:46[SPEAKER_04]: Michael Jr. was on the field on the practice field.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_04]: Was when they were still in shorts and shirts.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_04]: And Michael Jr. was rushing the pastor and then he just kind of pulled up because obviously you can't go full go in shorts and Quincy on Judkins freaking laid him out just just four arms to the chest just feet out from under him.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_04]: Michael Jr. on his ass just locked him down.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_04]: We haven't seen Michael Junior since that play.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_04]: So did Quinshawn really screw him up that bad.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_04]: That he has now missed like two plus weeks of training camp, a preseason game like, wow, I don't know.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_04]: But that's a little buck eye on buck eye action there for ya.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_04]: in practice, um, just interesting about my call junior, but we'll see hopefully we get him back.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_04]: We need to help in that interior.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_04]: So badly because everybody's on the shelf right now, but we'll get practice report today.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_04]: We'll see who's out on the field, who's not, who's coming back, who's still missing.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: Again, corner backed up, major, major issue for this team right now.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_00]: Since 1989, Mount Hope fence has set the standard in outdoor living.

- 37:29[SPEAKER_04]: I do want to read this message on the website from Ralph Ralph thank you for writing into the web.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_04]: And if you guys want to get voicemails or you want to just write up a message and send it in, just go to the dogspodcast.com, tap leave voicemail in the drop-down menu up top, whatever.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_04]: You'll get a pop-up.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_04]: You can record your voicemail.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_04]: You can listen to it back.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_04]: If you don't like it, you can rerecord it.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_04]: it's a really nice feature for you guys out there and then there's a message box right there there if you're just not comfortable with your voice being played on air which I totally get that's not alone just type up your message like Ralph did and send it in Ralph says with miles Garrett gone and some pointing out some of his few flaws.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_04]: The one that sticks out to me is he ended up in the backfield alone a lot of times chasing sacks.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_04]: This internal loud car's in Swesinger to become a tackling machine, I believe, and would you think that bringing in a guy like Jared Vers, who plays a more complete game, could bring down Swesinger's tackles, but in turn make him even a better
- 38:29[SPEAKER_04]: Linebacker.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_04]: Ralph, great question.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_04]: I will tell you this right now.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_04]: The first thing in your message that stands out to me that Miles Garrett chasing sacks allowed Swesinger to become a tackling machine.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_04]: Carson Swesinger was already a tackling machine, okay?
- 38:47[SPEAKER_04]: Miles Garrett's presence on that defensive line did not turn him into, I mean, it may have opened up, and this is probably what you're, you're alluding to here.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_04]: It probably opened up more opportunities for some tackles in situations, maybe, but as far as being a tackling machine in terms of being able to diagnose a play, get to the ball and make the tackle,
- 39:12[SPEAKER_04]: Carson Swester has always been able to do that.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_04]: That's what allowed him to become or to go from walk on at UCLA to all American.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_04]: Like, he is a phenomenal player.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_04]: I think Carson Swester and Jerry will probably have more tackles this year than he did last year.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_04]: he was a rookie last year there were games where he only had like six or seven tackles I say only six or seven is if that's not good but you know for him a guy who by the end of the season was ten plus tackles twelve fourteen tackles every game
- 39:44[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, starting out with some games with like six, that was low for him.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_04]: I could see him the majority of games this year being 10 plus tackles and outpacing what he did is a rookie for sure.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_04]: I think Jared verse, Miles Garrett, Alex Wright, I don't, I mean, I, Swesinger is going to get his because he's just, he's just that good.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_04]: He is just that good.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_04]: are in the injury that he's dealing with right now as if anything that holds him out or creeps back up later in season.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_04]: We don't know what he's dealing with.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_04]: We don't know.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_04]: If it's a hamstring type injury, you know, we see hamstring injuries from camp, linger into the season or creep back up, you know, three, four weeks down the road.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_04]: And I hope it's nothing like that.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_04]: Cause he's just so damn good.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_04]: So good.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_04]: But.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_04]: That's really what I wanted to dive into here today.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_04]: Just kind of give you guys an overview for the week.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_04]: What the practice plan was heading into this bill's game.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_04]: Give you guys some expectations, temper expectations for this game, especially if you're just like, you know, Shador needs his opportunity with the ones.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_04]: Guys, he's not going to get it.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, he's not getting an opportunity with the entire first team offense, the way to Sean did last week.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_04]: whether that's fair, it's not fair, I'm telling you that is what is going to happen so just be ready, okay?
- 41:11[SPEAKER_04]: And it's just, I don't have to say it.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's not intentional, they're not doing it to, intentionally hurt him, it's just, this is the way it is.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_04]: You got starters taking full scrimmage reps on third day, you're not gonna turn around and make him do it again two days later.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_04]: It's just not a smart move for an NFL team trying to get ready and keep people healthy for the season.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_04]: So,
- 41:32[SPEAKER_04]: Just as what it is guys.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_04]: Again, we will be doing a well, shouldn't say we I'll be doing a preview show this week for the bills game and that should be Thursday the problem with my schedule this week.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_04]: Just give you guys a little insight.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_04]: I would like to do that preview show.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_04]: later on Thursday after the joint practice.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_04]: So we have some more information.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_04]: The problem is with my schedule, local high school football, we got family, you know, planning and games and all this stuff.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_04]: I got my kids, my wife's work schedule, it's a mess.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_04]: I'm probably gonna have to do that preview show early on Thursday before the screen image.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_04]: Or before the joint practice even happens.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_04]: So, if that's the case, just make sure you guys are following us on social media on X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok at the dog's podcasts as the handle everywhere because I will be doing short videos to recap what happened at the joint practice if I'm not able to incorporate it into the full podcast episode.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_04]: I just wanted to give you guys a little update on that.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_04]: But thank you guys for tuning in.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate it again.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_04]: I hope you're having a great Monday.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_04]: I hope your week goes well.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_04]: Don't get too discouraged by what we saw on Saturday.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_04]: It's the bills again.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_04]: The entirety of the game wasn't good.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_04]: but that's because the majority of the game was played with our backups who unfortunately aren't good or just aren't that experienced yet because it's a lot of rookies.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot of first and second-year players, UDFA type players.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_04]: There's just there's a big drop-off in talent and we've been talking about this so there shouldn't be a surprise.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_04]: Me and Kenny have really been harping on this.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_04]: There's a big drop off in talent from our first string guys to our second.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_04]: And then when you get to the third, yeah, you see the progression there.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_04]: So that's just kind of the way it is.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_04]: But encouraging the starting units looked good.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_04]: It was actually the part of the game that was fun to watch.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_04]: I was pleasantly surprised without things started out in that first half.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_04]: So
- 43:39[SPEAKER_04]: we'll see we got again joint practice Thursday with the bills a lot of good information and insight will be coming out of that and then we could get the game on Saturday so and that's the that's the home game the first game this season in Cleveland Brown or Huntington Bank field whatever's called and you know if you're going to that game enjoy it have fun taking the atmosphere and
- 44:09[SPEAKER_04]: within.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_04]: We are less than four weeks away from regular season kickoff in Jacksonville against the Jaguars.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of stuff to do.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of work to be done between now and then.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_04]: It'll be here before you guys know it again.
