Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I've got tingles on my skin, even just saying that myself because obviously, you know, you can understand how profound that is.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: We've got this time on this fucking gold with the one and only Andrew McGuire.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Life from the Vault.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Life and the Vault, brought to you by Kinesis Money.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: And this is the show that goes beyond the headlines to uncover the truth about the gold and silver markets.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: And we're doing this with world-renowned whistleblower and industry expert Andrew Maguire.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: And this week he's joined in the vault by a very special featured guest.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: And yes, we're talking Thomas Coughlin, the CEO of Kinesis Money.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: And we're talking gold and silver, and you're not going to want to miss any part of this conversation.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: So let's head over to the UK and join Andrew Maguire and our featured guest, Thomas Coughlin.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Over to you, Andrew.
- 1:02SPEAKER_02: Well, thanks, Jane.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: Of course, this is a very special event here today.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: And I think it's something that we've been wanting to bring.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: We've been wanting to bring Tom uh back into Live from the Vault for a return journey.
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: Thank goodness me, it's been since I think it's almost six months.
- 1:21SPEAKER_02: Christmas, I think it was, when we uh had Tom on last.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: But so we've got some new viewers, we've got some new people.
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: I know a lot of people know Tom very well.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: But but for the new viewers, Tom, um, can you say who Tom Coghlan is and and what is Kinesis?
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, thanks, Andy.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Thanks for having me back, everyone.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: And uh I'm super excited, super pumped about today because we're breaking some profound news, some monumental news.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, firstly, who am I?
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Tom Coglin, uh CEO of Kinesis Money and the Kinesis Group of Companies.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Um, we're deeply entrenched within the precious metals industry.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, Kinesis Money is our gold and silver blockchain-powered monetary system that we build out to support the whole vision of spreading sound money across the world that's uh you know, fair, efficient, rewarding, real.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Uh, so that's effectively what we are.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of different components, a lot of different dimensions to it.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: And today I'm going to be doing my best to sort of bring all those different dimensions together so the uh this this universe, this kinesis universe that we've been building out can be uh properly understood.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: We're we're bringing in at least one major dimension today that I want everyone to truly sit down, um listen to, have your uh ears glued to the to the sound, and I guess your eyes glued to the screen, to actually try to digest it because it it is profound, it's going to uh break through in a lot of different ways, but more importantly, it adds a really important dimension to our universe.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: That that's what I'll say.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: Well, and and what's so in so good about today is that Tom, this has been quite a journey.
- 3:26SPEAKER_02: And I think, you know, when we first um got together in 2010, um, and then you had uh you launched the institutional uh grade institutional uh gold and silver exchange, ABX, and that then that's journey, uh that journey led to Kinesis.
- 3:49SPEAKER_02: Kines the launch of Kinesis itself.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: And I remember if back in 2018, um we were talking about we we had this massive launch, tremendous amount of interest, and it really made this this really took the industry by storm.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: Suddenly we we provided access for uh everyday people, people who and have no none non-specialists and specialists alike to be able to actually invest in gold, physical gold, physical silver, um with such tight spreads that they we kind of brought the wholesale market to them and let them buy let them trade into it and and buy and and sell into it.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: So it was a tremendous uh an industry.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: The industry was really surprised by how well Kinesis, what kinesis had done.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: And I think the story that I'm that I'm really interested in now is of course, that was kinesis uh 0.1.
- 4:53SPEAKER_02: What Tom is going to talk about here is tectonic.
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: It is the it is like the launch of kinesis back in 2018.
- 5:03SPEAKER_02: It is that significant.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: And it what I would call kinesis 2.0.
- 5:08SPEAKER_02: This is enormous, Tom.
- 5:10SPEAKER_02: And and thank you.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: It's well, I think it's really, really good that we can finally share some of the things and uh that we are able now to talk about, and that will also obviously there's plenty more to come, but at least Tom's here today to tell us about something very, very significant, and it's gonna get your attention.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: So, Tom, can you can you sort of can you sort of give us an idea of what how you'd like to start with what you'd like to start with here?
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: Well, Andy, what an intro.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: Um, you got me inspired.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Where's the oxygen mask?
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Uh so yeah, as you know, Andy, uh the the whole principle, the vision behind Kinesis was to introduce gold and silver as a form of money, uh as a form of money in like next generation technologies, enter blockchain technologies, efficient medium of exchange married up against, you know, the greatest store of value that the world's ever seen, used as money, you know, since human civilizations began and and held their val and held as value all throughout the ages.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: So, you know, we we introduced this this system.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: Um, it's called Kinesis, uh, designed to defeat Gresham's law.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: It um, you know, the the whole what the meaning of kinesis is is basically, you know, uh movement from stimulus.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: And so, and that's really what we tried to do there in introducing, I guess, incentive to actually transact in gold as money because people are making the actual decision to exchange their fiat currencies or cryptocurrencies for that matter for gold.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: Um, and not everyone who makes that decision actually wants to like spend that currency.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: Although, you know, like most of our community, they're pretty evangelical about gold as money and about sound money, but they're also evangelical about holding gold as a safe haven investment.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: So there's there's those two sort of dimensions that collide there.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: And this is where I think that uh we can also make our business model multifaceted.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: So, and one thing I will say, this is not just something philosophical that we're now experimenting with.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: We have done experimentation, obviously, throughout our journey, this organic journey that brings us to the right here and the right now.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: But this is this is something that, yes, we have understood is a necessary component to bring in.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: But we've also now done a tremendous amount of war gaming, you know, putting it through AI, tweaking things, everything like that.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Notwithstanding all of that, we're not actually saying that it's 100% locked in stone because we've got a we've got a boot-up period here of a couple of months.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: And um I'm like, I'm gonna throw out some some numbers.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna throw out some different things as as we sort of go on this journey together today.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Um, first, I need to explain how it all works, but uh yeah, I would love for the community to get engaged on this as well.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: We want your feedback.
- 8:39SPEAKER_01: Please feed back whatever you can, feedback your thoughts.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: So um what this does is um well, well, you'll see, it brings in a whole new dimension.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: It um effectively rewards every single market participant within our system in different ways.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: It feeds our master fee pool as well, which by its very nature is designed to incentivize all different market participants within our system.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: It means that anyone from you know a small uh retail investor or someone who wants to utilize you know gold and silver as money, or it's not just gonna be gold and silver.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: Soon there's gonna be another 23 commodity coins, and they're going to be getting the same sort of overlaid benefits of this.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: There's there's cryptocurrencies in there.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: So we're not just talking about gold and silver.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: We've got this whole universe of different products, and it's gonna keep on expanding.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: Um, there's many different things going on.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: So let me get into it.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: I'll just start sort of piecing things together.
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: So the this dimension that we're bringing in, for simplicity's sake, and this is also not locked in stone, but we're calling it the Earn program.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: Now, what it effectively does is permits uh a user to effectively pledge, and and we we touched on this in the the uh vault side chat, and actually after this, I would love to do another vault side chat with the C4SM folk, and they can you know start probing with all their questions from the community as well.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: But this broadcast is required just to actually get it out there because it's gonna have some uh profound consequences.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: Um, and uh it starts the dominoes falling, I would say, on I guess the awakening of our community as to what we're doing here, where we're going, and how all these different dimensions slit together to form the universe.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: So Earn Program, introduce Earn Program.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: Um, how is Earn Program funded?
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: Let's start there, right?
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: Like, how is Earn Program funded?
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: Earn Program is funded by our secret source, which uh we've now been conducting for a number of years and actually got very good at it.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: Um it is our secret source.
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: We're actually somewhat reluctant to even uh uh be, you know, get it out there because every time we do, every time we come up with something, then we've always got this uh, you know, this this uh the trail behind us of people trying to follow us, treat people trying to copy us.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: And that's fine.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: We're we're the innovators, we're the trailblazers.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: Um and um there's already been a tremendous amount of work, and this is just this is gonna blast us into stratosphere.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: That's and no one's gonna be able to catch us, and good luck if they can.
- 12:01SPEAKER_01: But at the end of the day, um, we're in service to our community, we're in service to our stakeholders, our participants, our KVT holders, and this is in service to you guys.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: So um buckle in, here we go.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: So our secret source is our call it physical gold arbitrage trading.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: We're now getting into silver and we're actually now building out an entire commodities desk that'll be trading in other commodities as well.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: You know, copper, uh, nickel, zinc, tin, you know, the the whole, and then um energy, where we're we're part, we've we're partnering up with commodity trade desks.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: That's sort of you know out on uh in another dimension of a broader ecosystem that's coming together, where kinesis is just sort of like a doorway into a broader ecosystem, right?
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: These things come together, even you know, carbon credits and and and um whatever else, and and you know, the even the soft commodities, the agri-commodities, we'll be trading them all.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: That trading, what is like commodity trading?
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: At the end of the day, what commodity trading is is effectively arbitrage trading.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: So you buy it in one location at uh a lower price than you sell sell it in another location.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: Now, in the traditionally in the precious metals markets, they've had like loco swaps, as they call it, between different trading hub locations.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: And this is something that ABX, um, where our you know our physical precious metals exchange um that we built, it was it was built to actually utilize in on these, like connecting up these different liquidity centers or trading hubs around the world and effectively offer these locational swaps, loco swaps between the different locations, which offers tremendous efficiency by swapping title from one location to the next just by tapping into liquidity centers.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: So what what we've been doing that with gold now for a long time, but from source.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: So what that means is that you effectively you you um you buy from it could be an aggregator of gold or a mine source or even like a um governmental body or a central bank um in jurisdictions like say from for example out of Africa or Latin America, and there's a discount associated.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: These trades operate in different ways.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: Um there, for example, you can be trading at spot when trading at spot, which is basically like transfer of money and gold effectively at the same time.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: That's typically the way that it operates.
- 14:50SPEAKER_01: Um, very little counterparty risk, particularly when dealing with a central bank or a um like a government body overseeing like this kind of trade, and a number of jurisdictions have that, and we we utilize those kind of facilities, um, then like the discount that you get, it's not tremendous.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: It might be 1%.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: Or um there might be certain trade cycles where um you're dealing with different kinds of counterparts where you transfer like funds and you need really strong uh uh basically infrastructure, logistics, and insurance in place because the funds are then taken to actually acquire the gold, and it might take actually a like a little bit to acquire the gold, um, but the discounts are higher.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: Now, where the true money is made is actually on the circulation of the capital.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: So, okay, I might get I might get a 1% discount, but I might have that trade available to me for three trades per week.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, that is on the aggressive side of being able to revolve the same capital three times a week.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: It is, it's actually possible.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: We've done it um before.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: Two times a week um is very possible.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: Like basically money going backwards and forwards.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: So you can you can sort of do the math if you know you're getting like, say, a 1% discount, and um, you know, it goes backwards and forwards a number of times per week, right?
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: And it compounds.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: So that's that's on one extreme side.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: You've got other trades where the capital might be tied up for a number of weeks.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: Um and um, you know, you you you really want that kind of process like underwritten and insured as well, and you want control of your uh basically your infrastructure and um supply chain.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: So that's just bringing a bit of background to the physical trade side of gold.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: Um, and there's actually there's there's a few other things like you've got like gold streaming that we partake in.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: Basically, it's capital up front in exchange with to a mine in exchange for discounted like gold um going forward.
- 17:11SPEAKER_01: And quite often, you know, you'll get like a percentage of the the mine's output, even up to all of it.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: Um, and and um, you know, that that's another way to make good money.
- 17:23SPEAKER_01: Um, and of course, there's like you know, off-take agreements and all this kind of stuff.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: So, anyhow, that's on the gold side, but now as we sort of build out our commodity trade desk, it's expanding.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Um, I think everyone who is following Kinesis knows that we're uh shortly uh launching, you know, an entirety of an additional 23 tokens.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: That's that's the sort of initial side of it, 23 commodity tokens.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: We'll get them, you know, pumping first before looking for more on the commodity side.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: But uh that's going to be quite profound.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: And you know, there's gonna be a lot of firsts there because these will be these will have yield on them as well.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: So it'll be you know the first in human history that uh, you know, copper, nickel, zinc, tin, lead has like firstly, okay.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: I know that you know there are some tokens out there, um, but they have they don't have yield on them.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: Um they they will not be accessible in the same way as what ours will, and they will not be entrenched within DeFi and also so you know, seamlessly integrated into the Kinesis system, and our all of our systems, like the debit card and Kinesis Pay, and all this kind of stuff that we offer throughout our ecosystem.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: Then there's all the the hybrid banking and um all of that that that we offer.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: So there's going to be a lot of firsts, but so that the trading side is what fuels it.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: That's actually where the movement comes into play in this program to typically to get yield, unless there's like a uh a usury type sort of or master servant debt relationship in place, then you need some kind of economic activity to drive yield.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: So this is where the economic activity comes from.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: It comes from trading, it's arbitrage trading.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: So arbitrage trading is basically riskless trading.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: And if we're sourcing the metal from somewhere and bringing it into the system and we just know how to basically, you know, revolve capital, then we'd like to be able to offer that to our to our users, to our market participants.
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: So so we will be um offering a yield, but the thing is we you know there needs to be a pledging of the actual digital asset.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: So we've we've built out a facility whereby the pledging of the digital asset, which the digital asset, let's let's take KAU for example.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: The digital asset is effectively a digital uh document of title.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: Now, you might call it like even like a a like typical institutional terminology is like a SKR, um, you know, safekeeping receipt, or going into you know the commodities realm, you're looking at warehouse receipts or warrants, like a digital warehouse receipt or a digital warehouse warrant.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: This kind of terminology, it represents a like digital form of title of the actual underlying metal.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: So where we've developed this, uh, well, it's in the process right now, the ability to basically lock, it's it's a locking.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: So it locks your asset for a certain period of time, will have a number of different time frames with different yields associated with them.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: So, you know, from one month, three months, six months, twelve months with different yields associated with it.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: Okay, so here's the kicker.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: Uh these yields are going to be very, very good because the bottom line is we can make good money out of it.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: So um, we're looking at, say, for a gold for a 12-month, and I'm I'm not, I can't run through them all now.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: We've got like, you know, temp, we've got what we think is right at the moment, and I do want some engagement from the community.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: But for the 12 month as an introductory rate, we're looking at 12% APY uh on on uh the uh for introductory rate.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: Now, after we get over an introductory period, maybe it settles at about around 10%.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: Uh now here.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Here's the I've got a few sort of groundbreaking stuff going on here.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: Um in addition to that, we are going to this is this is initially, uh, and we have to reserve the right to be dynamic with it.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: So there'll be like a dynamic sort of treasury function to it.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: Uh but um initially we're also then going to add 5% to the master fee pool, right?
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: The Kinesis master fee pool.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: So the holder will get 12%, and then we add 5% to the master fee pool.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: Um now what what's happening to the holdings that go into this program, they actually get pulled out and are not eligible for the holder's yield in in the in basically the the broader um master fee pool, um like uh basically the the holders yield system that we've already built.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: So they won't be eligible, they're getting the 12%.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: Um they've got a smile on their face getting you know that 12%.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: Um, but also other market participants within the uh within the broader Kinesis ecosystem, um, will they be benefiting from the enhancement of injection of additional revenue or fees into the master fee pool.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: So let's just take a pause and look at that for a second.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: So what does that mean?
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: It's 5% of assets under management, AUM.
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: So if it's 100 million, then each year 5 million will go into the master fee pool.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: If it's a billion assets under management, uh, it'll be 50 million.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Now we're also going to do this for our institutional deals.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: And uh we've already started bringing in the institutional pipeline here, and it's it's gonna be profound.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: It's like it's the pipeline is profound in its in its own way.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't want to, I just want results to speak for themselves.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: Uh I I don't want anyone to get too overly exuberant, but I hope you're starting to clock what's going on here because it's profound.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: Uh so now because all of this, all of this new revenue will be going into the master fee pool, and the a lot of like there'll be a lot of holdings actually, I guess, coming out of the the holders yield into this.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: We we need to actually look at some adjustments to the whole fee pool percentage structure.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Now, this is actually overdue.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: Um, so our our you know our community who's stuck with us through you know thick and thin and all the um the trials and tribulations, um, they understand our fee pool system very well.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: We've got a minter's yield of 5%, we've got a holders yield of 15%.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: Sorry, this is a proportional share of fees.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: Uh, we've got the KVT yield of 20%, and we've got a velocity yield of uh 10%, and then there's referrals in there as well, and the the partners is a bit of a sliding scale.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: But um, so let's focus in on the minters yield.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: The minter's yield is five percent of basically all the fees that go through the system, and that will pay out, you know, at the end of each month, as all the fees do, as all the yields do.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: So it's not apart from you know some institutional uh trading there, minting, it's not being utilized, uh, and that's for various different reasons, but we can do better.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: So um for all minting to date and the fees associated with that, that's all preserved where we don't mess around with anything to date, right?
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: Um, that's all preserved, but we think that the minter's yield from now on should go to zero, and that's that's what we're doing.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: We're taking the minter's yield to zero.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: But what we will be doing is dropping the price of gold in the mint to actually make it uh more attractive to transact in buying gold and silver at our mint, right?
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: And it's the 45 basis point fee there.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: So the whole idea is to bring some more fees into the system.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: To be honest, I it's it's it's gonna pale in comparison to the injection of revenue that comes in through this earn program.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: So um that is what we're looking to do there.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: Now the other thing is the holders' yield, because uh there's gonna be so much revenue actually coming into this that if we keep the holders' yield at 15%, then like it there's the possibility that it would be higher than like you know, the the 10 or 12%.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: And the numbers just start to look a little bit silly.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: So um, or you know, that there's it does some kind of equilibrium thing there where it sort of equalizes out, and as people sort of, you know, judge, you know, what what's better off.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: But what we're proposing and what we have, you know, also modeled this um on is actually reducing the percentage of the holders' yield down to five percent.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: So that means taking 10% away from the holders' yield, taking it back to 5%.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: That leaves us with, and and that will still reward holders who don't want to participate in this earn program.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: They don't, you know, want to lock up their their um any of their digital assets even for one month at a time.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: They just, you know, fully liquid at all times.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: Actually, even if you lock up, sorry, there's one thing about the earn program I didn't actually even explain.
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: If you even if you lock up, you can still liquidate, pull it out at any time.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: It's just uh you have to you have to forfeit the yield associated with it.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: So you never sort of just locked into something illiquid.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: You can pull it out at any time, you just have to forfeit the yield.
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: It's the same thing as like in Australia we talk call it a term deposit, right?
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: You you you give your you you lock your money in a bank for a a term period.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: Um, and if I want it out earlier, then I have to forfeit basically the yield.
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: So it's operating like in a similar kind of way.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: You want it out earlier, you just forfeit the yield.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: So anyway, I'm darting around a little bit, but this is me just trying to sort of get it out.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: Um, so you know, going back to these percentages, we're left with 15% that needs to be attributed somewhere.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: And so what we're looking at is allocating 5% to velocity yield to continue to incentivize people to actually use our system as a form of like payment and uh and like as a monetary system.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: And we've got the debit card coming, we've got KPE that's gonna really be emerging with a number of different things.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: And actually, on you know, the Voltside chat, I'll get into that further.
- 29:50SPEAKER_01: But, you know, there's gonna be so many applications of this, um, including in the the DeFi markets, so that we're gonna throw another 5% on the velocity yield, 15% of the fee pool.
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: Um, a big, big win here uh for for our loyal KVT holders is we're gonna throw 10% at their KVT yield.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: So the KVT yield's gonna go from 20% to 30%.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I just said that 20% to 30%.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: I've got tingles on my skin even just saying that myself, because obviously, you know, you can understand how profound that is.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: Uh so um I hope I hope all KVT holders have a very good day now.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: Um and of course, there's needs to be the recognition of all this new revenue, all this new that all this new revenue from the earn program that will be piling into uh into the master fee pool.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: So what does this earn program really do?
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: Well, where there's basically um gold, silver, other assets just sitting there in sort of like a non-productive form, it turns them into productive assets.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: And we effectively go into business together, even though there's not the same risks, because you guys still have the digital asset.
- 31:25SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: So you're not holding that counterparty risk there.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: You're holding the digital asset still.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: It's just been pledged, but you're not holding any sort of counterparty risk at the back end associated with any trading activities.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: So it's just been basically uh an agreement to effectively turn it into a productive asset so we can effectively trade with it.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: Now, I'm all about optionality and choice.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: It might not be for everyone.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: Someone might think, oh, well, no, I just want, you know, stock standard uh gold investment.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: And that's fantastic.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: We've got our gold, KAU, KAG sitting there still, still receiving the the holders yield.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: I dare say it will be higher than where it currently is, even though like there's a 15% allocation now, dropping down to 5% allocation, but there's a there's a lot more revenue flowing into the master fee pool.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: So I'm sure it'll be higher.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: I think it's a win-win for everyone.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: What it does, and I hope everyone can see it, it brings in this new dimension into the Kinesis ecosystem that's necessary.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: This will allow everything to work the way it should be.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: It will allow our master fee pool to work the way that it should be.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: Instead of having to have the movement happen through like minting, like circular minting and that sort of thing, which is sort of like a pointless exercise anyway.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: Um, the the movement happens with productive trading, arbitrage trading that makes sense, is economic and productive.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: That's where it happens.
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: And then everyone can benefit from it.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: We've figured out how to structure all this, we figured out how to put together, we figured out how to work within regulations.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: It's uh, trust me, just even what I'm saying right now, that's just scraping the surface.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: It's been a monumental task, but it has monumental ramifications for us all.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: So that's it in a nutshell.
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna take a breath there, Andy.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: Um, there's still a lot more to talk about here.
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: And actually, let me let me actually before I take a breath.
- 33:43SPEAKER_01: So, guys, I've been talking largely about gold and silver here, and the Kinesis monetary system is largely based on gold and silver.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: So now expand your thinking in like multiplying up for all of our different commodity coins and also for the fiat stable coins, which they're they're um they're under they're undergoing like a major overhaul themselves at the moment, and and going to be the you know, the the hot blondes in the room by the time they're finished there as well.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: So um there's gonna be all these stable coins and there's a number of other dimensions with the you know really actual strong partners coming in with other kinds of tokens because we're entering this like era of tokenization.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: It's just like easier to tokenize assets instead of not tokenize them.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: It's easier to move tokenized assets around, it's easier to underwrite tokenized assets.
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: It's like I'm seeing it at the institutional level.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: People want tokens, people just want to be able to, you know, flick over an ERC20 address and receive you know tokens in in in basically from one wallet to the next.
- 34:52SPEAKER_01: So this is underway.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's being now.
- 34:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I think what we're hearing here, this is pretty exciting.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: Um, and and obviously I'm going to circle back with a couple of questions on the KVT in a little while, because a lot of people don't really understand the dynamic of a KVT and and why this is so important.
- 35:14SPEAKER_02: But I think just to kind of um sum it up, really, I mean, so essentially what we have is we're also what Tom's talking about is um is being able to benefit from what only the largest institutional organizations, the big bullion banks, are enjoying, what they call the halo trade, the hard asset low obsolescence trade, where they're investing in commodities.
- 35:42SPEAKER_02: Well, how is an individual going to do that?
- 35:44SPEAKER_02: You need vast resources, you need billions in resources.
- 35:49SPEAKER_02: So essentially, what and this is the same with physical, with with tokenized physical gold, it's tokenized hard asset, low obsolescence um uh commodities.
- 36:01SPEAKER_02: Uh and so these uh warehouse receipts are denominated in the hard asset itself, as it is in gold with kinesis, so as we've as we've you've enjoyed with kinesis so far.
- 36:15SPEAKER_02: So, and and one of the joys about this to me is I don't want to hold a lot of cash.
- 36:21SPEAKER_02: I mean, I mean, I'm we've got one eye on a monetary reset at some point down the road.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: I'm not saying this tomorrow, but at some point, this banking system isn't gonna implode.
- 36:33SPEAKER_02: So, so so I'd rather be um invested.
- 36:37SPEAKER_02: I don't want to be invested in debt-backed fias dollars.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: And when this next monetary reset comes, I want to hold the denominator, not the numerator.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: And I think this is massive.
- 36:52SPEAKER_02: And I think the timing could not be better for this.
- 36:56SPEAKER_02: And I think so.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: What Tom is really talking about here is when we Kinesis 0.1, as we all call it, was the ability for to bring that wholesale, the ability for everyone on the globe to engage in what uh the wholesale side of the gold and silver markets.
- 37:18SPEAKER_02: I mean, the spreads.
- 37:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, you only look at the spreads.
- 37:21SPEAKER_02: I mean, we're talking the tightest spreads in the industry.
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: People have got used to it.
- 37:25SPEAKER_02: In fact, it's set the benchmark for other people.
- 37:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, welcome to welcome to competition.
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: They're just following us.
- 37:31SPEAKER_02: But I think what we've done is by create as we're talking about the yield and with the creating the yield in gold, which no one had ever done before.
- 37:39SPEAKER_02: It's not just a selling, a buying and selling a gold token.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: This is uh or a real uh or or even a real asset token.
- 37:47SPEAKER_02: This is about arbitrage.
- 37:49SPEAKER_02: And I think one of the things that Tom kind of talked about was as far as the arbitrage uh trade, is you're not lending out the customer metal.
- 37:59SPEAKER_02: We're not lending it out.
- 38:01SPEAKER_02: We're not minting tokens to pay for it.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: So, and Tom, I think explained where the profit's being made.
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: And I think that's what Tom was talking about a little while ago.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: But can we circle back, Tom?
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: The the KVT is something which is dear to many people's hearts.
- 38:18SPEAKER_02: To me, this is, I mean, again, goosebumps.
- 38:22SPEAKER_02: 30%.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: Come on, Tom.
- 38:24SPEAKER_02: What tell tell what other people, tell the viewers who've never owned one, what that bonus actually really means.
- 38:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so well, it's a 50% increase on where we were of 20%.
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: That's a sharing of all the fees out of our ecosystem.
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: And uh, well, and it's just it's just got a massive boost uh in uh in revenue injection into it.
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: So it will also obviously be sharing in the trading revenues of of our of our gold and silver trading operations, but also in you know the expanding trading operations for for other commodities um within the ecosystem.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: And uh it's it's it's becoming a super interesting like journey now.
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: Like it's it's getting very interesting as we start to get involved with like physical commodity trading deaths, trading in oil, trading in carbon credits, trading in, you know, natural gas, trading in copper, nickel, zinc, tin, etc., trading in, you know, like uh live cattle, etc.
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: So it's it's um it's getting more and more interesting.
- 39:39SPEAKER_01: And what it also does, it leaves us more room, this this new dimension that comes in to actually to play around with things in a way where it's like, okay, like we're we're making more revenue there, or we can see um revenue lines there.
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: Let's provide a kicker to the master fee pool, or you know, let's let's provide a bit more here or a bit more there.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: I can't imagine us going backwards from here.
- 40:07SPEAKER_01: It's only going to be like, you know, going forwards um as far as you know the KVT and master fee pool is concerned.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: But the to to sort of sum it up, Andy, it's it's effectively a sharing in the revenue of our system.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: And as we build out new components of that system, then those components will the revenue will also be shared.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: And so it just becomes this expanding universe of uh like a sharing of wealth.
- 40:40SPEAKER_01: Um and uh yeah, that's that that's basically it.
- 40:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've always looked at a KVT much like a a bond, but better, because it's something, it's based on something tangible, not debt-based.
- 40:55SPEAKER_02: And and I think so, I mean, that's a key.
- 40:57SPEAKER_02: So I mean, so basically, I'm personally I wouldn't sell any of my KVTs because they're gonna pay me a yield down the road, which is better than a bond.
- 41:06SPEAKER_02: But hey, but people want to buy and sell KVTs, that's up to them.
- 41:10SPEAKER_02: But the thing is, um, I think one of the things certainly of our viewers are gonna say, this is too good to be true.
- 41:18SPEAKER_02: Surely this is too.
- 41:20SPEAKER_02: I mean, uh Tom, I know you've addressed the I I think perhaps at this point here, can we go through um the the audit and the um sort of the audit process, custody and audit process and allocation essentially, so that people will will ask that question.
- 41:40SPEAKER_02: I know they will.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: So if you could attend that.
- 41:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, currently, Andy, we audit every six months through Bureau of Veritas, which is basically the the premier um auditor in the precious metals and commodity space.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: So, you know, they they verify that, you know, basically everything is there that um you know is written on the tin effectively.
- 42:04SPEAKER_01: So there's there's not really any questions associated with that as concern, you know, with these guys auditing like all these vaults that we operate through simultaneously around the world.
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: So that is in place.
- 42:17SPEAKER_01: Um now there'll be new kinds of audits come into play as well for the digital assets, because that's a that's another dimension.
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: And um, in fact, we're we're uh going through a uh basically a process at the moment with a um like an auditor that will be attesting to a number of our different coins, and um that then like basically will frame it to be a number of our different coins to be like basically top of their field as far as transparency is concerned and security.
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: So it's like effectively, you know, API interfaces into real-time data that then actually gets broadcast um into the the the DeFi world.
- 43:09SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, enter the likes of Chainlink and these kind of organizations that are able to effectively, you know, list that sort of that audited or real-time figure through APIs.
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: Um, so that that's something else that's coming into play.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: Another thing I'm gonna say here as well, because I was meant to touch on this and I didn't.
- 43:33SPEAKER_01: I'm talking, I've been talking about like the Kinesis system, but as soon as we talk tokens, we can also talk about DeFi.
- 43:42SPEAKER_01: So uh we also have a plan here.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: When I say a plan, it's it's a project that's already underway, actually.
- 43:52SPEAKER_01: So yes, it's a project, it's a plan um to embed what we're talking about here with the yields, etc.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Into like D5 volts.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: So, like, for example, you might have the sort of uh, you know, the Bitcoin maxis or the DeFi maxis out there that um don't even want to deal with the centralized counterparty.
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: Fine.
- 44:16SPEAKER_01: They can utilize like a D5 volt and receive a yield from that DeFi vault for our different tokens that will be embedded in into different vaults.
- 44:29SPEAKER_01: Um, so that's something else.
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: And then once again, that the share that we spoke about, the 5%, uh, at least initially, um, will be ported back to the master fee pool.
- 44:44SPEAKER_01: So once again, I do caveat that we need to be a bit dynamic as far as the the treasury management of this is concerned.
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: But you know, that's that's what we're looking to do.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: So that's D5 Vault.
- 44:56SPEAKER_01: We're also exploring like smart contracts that pay a yield as well.
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: So there's a lot that we can do here, and it's not going to stop.
- 45:05SPEAKER_01: The innovation's gonna continue.
- 45:07SPEAKER_01: Um, we know how to make money from the trading side, and this is something that we can benefit uh like our community.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: Now there's physical trading, and there's also like tokenized trading.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: Like we we know a number of like uh you know experts in basically DeFi tokenized trading, and they can make a a lot of yield per year on you know the most boring tokens, like even you know, even the likes of USDT and USDC, and they know how to earn really great yield from these things, and you know, they they they've operated, you know, like uh these kind of facilities in DeFi before.
- 45:51SPEAKER_01: So there just explodes all these different uh ways to actually earn.
- 45:58SPEAKER_01: And um, it brings, I think, uh, an interactive approach um to our community.
- 46:04SPEAKER_01: Our community can be activist in what they're doing.
- 46:08SPEAKER_01: Um, but it just it's it's really going to start to inject really sizable uh revenue into our master fee pool.
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: So this is what I'm most excited about.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: It's been a hell of a journey.
- 46:24SPEAKER_01: Um we've uh we've had everything thrown at us, and um we stand here today, but excited about the the chapters to come and uh this uh this this uh I guess that the the new dimensions to enter here, Andy.
- 46:43SPEAKER_01: And as as it all comes together, I'm um I yeah, uh it's it's it's difficult to uh to sleep at night with all this sort of rattling around because it's um it's just so exciting to be honest.
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
- 46:58SPEAKER_02: Well, I it to me it feels it it is.
- 47:01SPEAKER_02: It's it's almost like we when we first have that exciting launch, took the industry by storm in 2018.
- 47:08SPEAKER_02: Here we are.
- 47:09SPEAKER_02: Now we're talking about, I mean, we're kind of the middle of the way through 2026, and you're talking about the ability to uh to do what the big boys do, but in real, in hard assets and other assets too, commodities.
- 47:24SPEAKER_02: Now, the thing is you talked, you also uh you went you kind of went through, you know, we if you really want to uh if you want if you have money to invest or you have uh assets to invest, um then what would incentivize you've you kind of incentive really given the reason to lock and earn essentially what we call lock and earn.
- 47:45SPEAKER_02: So you're locking in for a period of time for benefits of that uh over time.
- 47:50SPEAKER_02: But I guess the question then would be well um obviously you can track that on-chain, the on-chain verification.
- 47:59SPEAKER_02: Um but I guess the question would be um could if someone locks this in, say for a year, for example, because they get the best yield that way, um can they lose their gold?
- 48:12SPEAKER_02: Can they lose their real asset?
- 48:14SPEAKER_02: That's the question.
- 48:15SPEAKER_01: The answer to that is no.
- 48:17SPEAKER_01: The the asset stays with them at all times.
- 48:21SPEAKER_01: It's just we're using the word lock at the moment, but it's not really lock.
- 48:27SPEAKER_01: Um, it's you know, the connotations that come from lock.
- 48:32SPEAKER_01: Um, I I don't real I don't really like that the project team are currently running with with lock, but this is one for you know, we still got a bit of time to actually get some feedback from the community on it because it's like a term period, but people can still, you know, withdraw their assets at any time, but you do actually have to forfeit the yield.
- 48:53SPEAKER_01: It's the same, as I said, same thing as a term deposit, etc.
- 48:56SPEAKER_01: So um, yeah, like in it, so anyone with gold and silver can actually, you know, like participate in this.
- 49:04SPEAKER_01: Like we've got an EPD program.
- 49:07SPEAKER_01: Uh anyone holding KAU, KAG within our system or any other digital assets will be able to participate.
- 49:13SPEAKER_01: Uh, and as I mentioned, there's gonna be these D5 volts, and um, we're looking at a smart contract like that auto-pay as a yield as well.
- 49:24SPEAKER_01: Um, so these kind of things are gonna come in play.
- 49:27SPEAKER_01: That's like really cool.
- 49:28SPEAKER_01: I'm really excited.
- 49:31SPEAKER_01: You know, Andy, I I remember once saying to the community that for Kinesis to be successful, we need to do, you know, two things from an ultra high level.
- 49:43SPEAKER_01: One, attract capital in and two, get it into motion.
- 49:47SPEAKER_01: And the thing is, see, it's a bit funny because to attract the capital in, you need to actually get it into motion because our yields come from motion, basically comes from the transaction fees.
- 49:59SPEAKER_01: So it can, they're interlinked.
- 50:03SPEAKER_01: And so if if if, for example, you know, there's just not so many transactions, and that might be because, you know, there hasn't been a debit card or there hasn't been uh, you know, easy on-ramps or something like that.
- 50:15SPEAKER_01: If if there hasn't been so many transactions, then the the yield falls away, then the incentive to actually hold um in the Kinesis system actually starts to erode.
- 50:26SPEAKER_01: So this actually brings in the whole uh component where like you don't need to rely upon um transaction fees.
- 50:36SPEAKER_01: In fact, you can rely upon a set yield.
- 50:38SPEAKER_01: That set yield is is like locked in as a set yield that you can rely upon that you'll actually get.
- 50:45SPEAKER_01: So this is a real necessary ingredient.
- 50:47SPEAKER_01: Of course, the whole program adds revenue into the master fee pool, which benefits everyone out of the master fee pool.
- 50:54SPEAKER_01: But this is what our model actually requires.
- 50:57SPEAKER_01: We need to be dynamic enough to innovate and evolve and and to actually, you know, like recognize shortcomings or even failings in the model model sometimes.
- 51:09SPEAKER_01: But what this does is it will allow the model to defeat Gresham's law because it's just dumping so much more revenue in it.
- 51:18SPEAKER_01: So there, therefore, you know, uh people will be incentivized to actually use it as money over, let's say, fiat currency, because okay, well, they're going to benefit so much from the velocity yield, for example, or or from other yields within the system.
- 51:33SPEAKER_01: It might be referral yield, or um, they might be holding the KVTs, etc.
- 51:39SPEAKER_01: So um it really stimulates everything, it really incentivizes the market participants.
- 51:47SPEAKER_01: And but we're not just stopping there.
- 51:49SPEAKER_01: I I do want to run through a few more things just before we close this out.
- 51:54SPEAKER_01: So looking at okay, like high level, that was that was the two things that we needed to do.
- 52:00SPEAKER_01: Like, but of course, you know, they get subdivided, like every step of the the trade cycle and of the journey needs to be working as seamless and efficiently as as possible.
- 52:13SPEAKER_01: So um, you know, from on-ramping to you know, debit cards to you know off-ramping to all this kind of stuff, right?
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: So we've really honed in on all of that.
- 52:27SPEAKER_01: We're now got major integrations and work happening.
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, the KYC is another big one.
- 52:34SPEAKER_01: Um, we are we are now um integrating with a really big provider, um, and they're a great provider.
- 52:45SPEAKER_01: Um, they're called Sumsub, and they actually offer 20, like basically KYC and 28 jurisdictions on a no-doc basis, what they call a no-doc basis.
- 52:58SPEAKER_01: You still need to provide, like, you know, like a driver's license or passport and do selfie and that sort of thing.
- 53:04SPEAKER_01: But no more like, you know, onerous sort of, you know, like scans of um, yeah, you know, your residential address, and maybe it doesn't, maybe the scan's blurry or something like that.
- 53:15SPEAKER_01: Um, so there'll be, you know, a bunch of jurisdictions that on a no-doc basis.
- 53:21SPEAKER_01: Um, that's really going to make things efficient from the AML side.
- 53:25SPEAKER_01: You know, we we've got a lot of compliance stuff that happens behind the scenes as well, and all the uh the you know, compliance and and AML sort of um checks that occur.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: That is getting streamlined.
- 53:39SPEAKER_01: Um, that's going to become much more efficient over time, and we're going to be able to provide a much more efficient service to our users.
- 53:48SPEAKER_01: Um we've got I I told on the last vault side we've we've now done the deal um on um that our next public-private partnership.
- 54:01SPEAKER_01: We've we're going to officially announce that really soon.
- 54:06SPEAKER_01: Now that is also just going to, you know, really inject a lot into everything that we're doing.
- 54:14SPEAKER_01: All the photos, we've already done the the our our president.
- 54:18SPEAKER_01: Um, I was somewhere else at the time, but our president was there to take the photos.
- 54:23SPEAKER_01: And so we've done the the ceremonial signing.
- 54:26SPEAKER_01: Um, we've got to announce that.
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: It's done.
- 54:29SPEAKER_01: Really excited about that.
- 54:31SPEAKER_01: That's a super big deal unto itself.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: All these things like coming together is just blows your head.
- 54:38SPEAKER_01: Um, we've got like a new banking solution provider where um almost for all of our currencies we're going to have like local accounts and for um and and named accounts.
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: Now there might be one or two uh currencies that don't do the named accounts, but that's all coming as well.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: And uh what else?
- 55:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the the um stable coins are getting a makeover.
- 55:05SPEAKER_01: Obviously, oh we've got the debit card coming as well.
- 55:08SPEAKER_01: And we can delve into this on a vault side chat.
- 55:12SPEAKER_01: Uh, we were hoping to get that out by mid this month.
- 55:15SPEAKER_01: There's been a new introduction by Visa, which pushes out to early August.
- 55:19SPEAKER_01: So we're looking, so to call it first half of August, early August for a launch of the full launch of the debit card.
- 55:25SPEAKER_01: It's been a long time coming, folks.
- 55:27SPEAKER_01: I know it, but wow, this the system's coming together.
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: And um another thing I will say is that just to cement our position here going forward, because we're going for keeps here, uh, where we recognize the vulnerabilities on the banking side, even though we're about to have, you know, meant so many options explode here on the banking side.
- 55:55SPEAKER_01: But um we are there's there are benefits in us acquiring banks.
- 56:03SPEAKER_01: So we're actually in discussions, not discussions, we're in negotiations right now to acquire two banks.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: Um, and uh one of them in particular is a very special bang because it also has like full crypto licensing, so and it can actually take in crypto assets as banking assets and provide like basically personal and business financing off those assets.
- 56:31SPEAKER_01: So that's another dimension that opens up there as far as you know the financing side and and the banking side, and and you have the protection of the regulations of being a bank as well.
- 56:44SPEAKER_01: So really super duper excited about all of these things.
- 56:48SPEAKER_01: There will be obviously a slew of announcements to come.
- 56:52SPEAKER_01: And uh yeah, gonna hand it back to you from there, Andy.
- 56:57SPEAKER_01: That's that's about me over and out, I think.
- 57:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I think one of the I think one of the things that um uh obviously people are looking at the volatility, uh, and especially if you're a gold or a silver trader.
- 57:09SPEAKER_02: But here's the thing.
- 57:10SPEAKER_02: Here's the thing.
- 57:11SPEAKER_02: Obviously, we're long gold.
- 57:12SPEAKER_02: We love gold, we're all invested in gold uh and silver for all the right reasons.
- 57:18SPEAKER_02: But just imagine now you have look at the volatility we just experienced in oil, for example.
- 57:25SPEAKER_02: My goodness me, if you had been, if this had been launched into that uh severe volatility and ongoing volatility, it's about the it's about the spread, it's about the movement, it's velocity of these movements.
- 57:42SPEAKER_02: And you're never you're never on the wrong side.
- 57:45SPEAKER_02: Everything's arbitraged, everything's true, everything is secure.
- 57:49SPEAKER_02: So essentially, you then look at the movement and you think, yeah, that was a good move, that was a nice move, up, down, doesn't matter.
- 57:57SPEAKER_02: I mean, so essentially, while all the games go on and the big boys used to enjoy those games, what we're doing is we're now coming in and we're saying, okay, we're gonna participate, but we have a view to building our assets and taking those yields and buying gold, buying silver.
- 58:18SPEAKER_02: Essentially, we are the solution.
- 58:20SPEAKER_02: So use this, use this.
- 58:23SPEAKER_02: This is massive, it's big beyond anything that I could.
- 58:28SPEAKER_02: I mean, I need oxygen to basically even uh you know, to even imagine how exciting this is.
- 58:34SPEAKER_02: This is huge, it's tectonic.
- 58:36SPEAKER_02: So be part of the solution.
- 58:38SPEAKER_02: Uh join in Kinesis, you're protected, you are uh none of the nothing that can none of your assets sit on the kinesis balance sheet.
- 58:48SPEAKER_02: It doesn't.
- 58:48SPEAKER_02: So essentially, you're just being able now.
- 58:52SPEAKER_02: We're bringing to you what the big boys could do on their own, and we're gonna use it for our own benefits, and that's collectively, all of us.
- 59:01SPEAKER_02: So that's really what my or that's why I'm so excited, Tom.
- 59:04SPEAKER_02: And I know I could hear the excitement in your voice today.
- 59:07SPEAKER_02: And you're talking talking about KVTs, you're talking about some of the impact of all of these things.
- 59:12SPEAKER_02: To me, thank you for for bringing this on.
- 59:16SPEAKER_02: I know it's been a lot of work, and you know, Tom, there's you're you're never asleep.
- 59:21SPEAKER_02: I every time it doesn't matter what time zone, uh, you're there, and and it's and you've traveled a lot to to make sure this happened.
- 59:28SPEAKER_02: So thank you for those efforts.
- 59:31SPEAKER_02: And I think we're all gonna benefit from them, but I really want to thank you for actually sharing this with us to for the community to actually get some hope here and get ready to participate, guys, because what Tom's just outlined, it's for you.
- 59:48SPEAKER_01: Thanks for that, Andy.
- 59:50SPEAKER_01: And uh thank you to the community and watch out, Glencore Traffigura and the and the bullion banks, because we're coming for you.
