- 7:18The FDA advises discarding affected cookware
- 7:21instead of donating it. In business news, a Harvard
- 7:27Business School graduate was arrested Thursday
- 7:30on fraud charges, alleging he swindled fellow

- 7:54carrying out the scheme from September 2021 through
- 7:58February 2024. An indictment unsealed in Manhattan
- 8:03federal court said Artamanov promised big returns
- 8:06and little risk to dupe former classmates into

- 9:25back to the show. Let's talk tech. Big tech's
- 9:30artificial intelligence capital expenditures
- 9:32are soaring, raising concerns that companies
- 9:35may be overbuilding infrastructure before it
- 9:38can be monetized. One expert describes this trend
- 9:41as a risky gamble. Oracle Corporation's reported
- 9:45$300 billion deal with open AI is being scrutinized
- 9:50as a sign of robust spending or an overreach
- 9:53in the artificial intelligence sector. Professor
- 9:57Benjamin Lee warns that this overinvestment may
- 10:00lead to long -term challenges if demand for AI
- 10:03workloads diminishes. Despite this, the demand
- 10:07for data centers is currently booming, with industry
- 10:10leaders expressing confidence in future utilization.
- 10:16And in entertainment news, the new sequel, Spinal
- 10:21Tap 2, The End Continues, comes at a time when
- 10:25musicians rarely reveal their unvarnished lives
- 10:28on film. Rob Reiner, the director, reflects on
- 10:32how the original This Is Spinal Tap rankled some
- 10:36fans upon its release in 1984. Tyler Wilson notes
- 10:41that the mockumentary taught artists to avoid
- 10:43hubris, a central theme in the film. The sequel
- 10:47aims to capture the reality of being a rock star,
- 10:50showcasing the struggles of aging band members.
- 10:53While music documentaries increase in number,
- 10:56they tend to favor mythology over truth -telling,
- 11:00according to producer Aaron Sachs. Well, alrighty
- 11:04folks, it's time for the quote of the day. And
- 11:08today, our quote comes from the American author
- 11:11and women's rights activist, Margaret Fuller.
- 11:15And she said, If you have knowledge, let others
- 11:19light their candles in it. And that's a wrap
