Transcript
- 0:01It is a somewhat difficult concept.
- 0:03For most people to accept that. Each individual has his own
- 0:08spiritual path and realization before him, and that it is.
- 0:12Therefore neither appropriate. Nor fruitful to spend time
- 0:17trying to either criticize or convert.
- 0:20Others to one's own path review or to attempt to adopt or copy
- 0:25the methods or focus of another individual.
- 0:30Each individual comes into the world with a set of issues and
- 0:33difficulties that represent, the challenges that individual is to
- 0:38face in this lifetime. The idea of uniqueness is at the
- 0:43same time, combined with the complexity of what we call
- 0:47synchronicity, which brings together each of the Unique
- 0:51Individuals, and circumstances into a web of interaction.
- 0:57Which help us to understand our own role and our relation to the
- 1:02wider collectivities by reflecting back to us exactly
- 1:08what it is. Our energy and Direction call
- 1:11for a specific set of practices or a specific mindset.
- 1:18May be helpful to one individual while at the same time, being
- 1:23counterproductive to another There may be certain elements
- 1:27that correspond between individuals with similar
- 1:30affinity and thus we can learn from others while maintaining
- 1:35our clear Insight internally to the uniqueness of our own path.
- 1:42What we can learn from observing, others may be
- 1:44positive steps, we can incorporate into our own
- 1:47Spiritual Development or may even represent examples that
- 1:52should not be followed understanding, which things to
- 1:56adopt and which things to avoid requires an inner awareness and
- 2:01Awakening to our souls aspiration and a recognition of
- 2:06this uniqueness and responsibility to carry out the
- 2:10deepest. Radiation within us.
- 2:14It is much easier in a certain sense to Simply avoid this type
- 2:18of deep inner review and follow along with others who seem to
- 2:23have a way or path that we find to be either successful or which
- 2:28seems to engender happiness. Yet in the end, this may prove
- 2:34to be an illusion and a setback. The deeper questions of how to
- 2:39find and stick to one's own path and Direction and how to avoid
- 2:44the potential for misdirection that results from taking a
- 2:47unique approach are of tremendous relevance as we
- 2:52Aspire and grow spiritually. The mother observes quote, you
- 2:59stopped short at the Perfection that others should realize and
- 3:03you are seldom conscious of the goal.
- 3:05You should be pursuing yourself. If you are conscious of it,
- 3:10well, then begin with the work, which is given to you.
- 3:14That is to say, realize what you have to do, and do not concern
- 3:19yourself with what others do because after all it is not your
- 3:24business. And the best way to the true
- 3:27attitude is simply to say all those around me all the
- 3:32circumstances of my life. All the people near me are a
- 3:36mirror held up to me by the Divine.
- 3:39Consciousness to show me the progress, I must make everything
- 3:44that shocks, me, and others means a work, I have to do in
- 3:47myself. And perhaps if one carried True
- 3:51Perfection in oneself one would discover it more often in
- 3:56others. and quote, reference SRI aurobindo in the mother living
