- 0:29Speaker 5: Robyn and Sydney, finishing in.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Brisbane on March of twenty second. Not too far away, guys,
- 0:34Speaker 3: he has packed and ready to gay I'm.
- 0:37Speaker 6: Not God somewhere else to be the right after that.
- 0:45Speaker 5: Yeah, that's it's an eclectic trio of bands on the bill.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Guys, where did Magnolia Park fit in? Do you think?
- 0:57Speaker 1: Probably euys the heaviest in most insane, I would say,
- 1:03Speaker 1: and then also sexiest.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Have you played with either of those bands before?
- 1:16Speaker 4: No? No, this would be our first time playing with
- 1:18Speaker 4: Bloodywood and baby Metal. Yeah.
- 1:20Speaker 5: Rather they look all the baby Metal I've seen quite
- 1:23Speaker 5: a few times. It's funny like you see all these
- 1:25Speaker 5: fifty sixty year old blokes walking around with baby metal
- 1:28Speaker 5: t shirts on and almost looks PEDOPHILICX, but it's it's good.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Oh man, bloodyhood.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 5: I came across so any of you them last year
- 1:42Speaker 5: and I never heard of it before, but Jesus there,
- 1:44Speaker 5: they're insane.
- 1:45Speaker 3: You guys are gonna have a ball.
- 1:47Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm excited to see them live.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Oh yeah, speaking of live, you haven't been out here
- 1:53Speaker 5: since Good Things in twenty twenty three.
- 1:56Speaker 3: So what's changed with Magnolia Parks this? Last time you hear.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Holy Genre swift shift? Really?
- 2:03Speaker 8: I mean last time we were there, we were playing
- 2:06Speaker 8: pop punk music, which we still love pop punk music,
- 2:08Speaker 8: but now we're doing the more heavier side of our
- 2:12Speaker 8: of our music, and we're more seasoned on stage. Three
- 2:17Speaker 8: was only our second year tour, so now we're four years.
- 2:22Speaker 4: In and we're ready to show people that how much
- 2:25Speaker 4: we improved.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, So what what the lights and what magical
- 2:30Speaker 5: pleasures have you got in store for his trying fans?
- 2:34Speaker 1: A lot of moss bits, a lot of circle pits.
- 2:38Speaker 1: You probably see me crowdsurfing. I don't know if people care, but.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I'm really scared to catch that.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Couple of new songs. Yeah, yeah, it'll be cool.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 5: No, it's just say someone's gone along to see all
- 2:53Speaker 5: the baby metal or Bloody boyd than they dar't know
- 2:55Speaker 5: much about McNelly Park. But what three songs should I
- 2:58Speaker 5: listen to get to know.
- 2:59Speaker 3: The band get better?
- 3:02Speaker 7: I would say Shallow, I sigh, and.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Ten for ten.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Your buddy, he's getting away with that, is he?
- 3:18Speaker 4: Nah?
- 3:19Speaker 8: No, not ten for ten Animals that's more technically that's.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Four, but we'll let you get away with it. And
- 3:28Speaker 3: why you're out here too.
- 3:29Speaker 5: The band's going to release your deluxe version of the
- 3:31Speaker 5: previous album Vamp called Nights After Vamp, So tell us
- 3:35Speaker 5: about the deluxe version and how it came about.
- 3:39Speaker 7: We just wanted to expand on our story.
- 3:41Speaker 1: We have a whole more website where fans can dive
- 3:44Speaker 1: into the world behind Vamp, all the characters, all the locations.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It's just all Mangelu Park band dot com. Yeah, we
- 3:53Speaker 1: just wanted to expand on the success of Shallow and
- 3:57Speaker 1: see how far we could take it.
- 3:58Speaker 7: It's also a preluded.
- 4:00Speaker 1: To our next album we're working on now, and we're
- 4:03Speaker 1: excited to share it with the fans. They already love
- 4:05Speaker 1: one of the singles we put out High with Arrows
- 4:08Speaker 1: in Action, so extremely excited to play that live.
- 4:12Speaker 7: We haven't played that lot either yet.
- 4:13Speaker 5: So yeah, yeah, it's essentially an extra six songs on
- 4:19Speaker 5: top of Vamp, added as a bonus. But the person
- 4:21Speaker 5: release also referred to it as being reimagined. So does
- 4:25Speaker 5: that mean that it's been re recorded or remastered or
- 4:28Speaker 5: something like that, or.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's more like, uh, it's just more like an expansion,
- 4:35Speaker 1: Like none, none of the songs have been like re recorded.
- 4:39Speaker 7: It's just new songs on top of Vamp.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Because we have like a whole world, a trilogy in
- 4:45Speaker 1: the sense we're creating, So we're trying to tell like
- 4:48Speaker 1: short stories in between that and really expand on the
- 4:52Speaker 1: world we're creating.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Yeah, right, right.
- 4:54Speaker 5: A bit further to that, like Nights After Vamp does
- 4:57Speaker 5: expand on the conceptual how given voice through Vamp? So
- 5:00Speaker 5: can you run us briefly through the concept and how
- 5:03Speaker 5: the new album Pleasures are up.
- 5:06Speaker 6: So the concept of Vamp is it's a story of
- 5:11Speaker 6: a group called the Vampires who are going up against
- 5:14Speaker 6: an evil cult called the Shadow.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Could you know?
- 5:18Speaker 6: I mean character Aurora as the feat of Sedian who
- 5:25Speaker 6: who's the leader of the Shadow Cold And there are
- 5:27Speaker 6: some surprises in there, and that's Vamp and it's like
- 5:31Speaker 6: most basic sense. And then the prelude is just showing
- 5:34Speaker 6: the break between Vamp where it's going and then our
- 5:40Speaker 6: next project, which will expand further into that. So really
- 5:45Speaker 6: excited for people to hear the new stuff we put
- 5:47Speaker 6: in as new characters, new exciting developments that I don't
- 5:52Speaker 6: want to get into because I don't want to spoil it.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Yeah, but so you're really sick. Yeah, cool new worlds
- 5:59Speaker 4: as well.
- 6:00Speaker 5: I'd like, I'll love concept album to say, but from
- 6:03Speaker 5: you guys as a band playing him live, like, do
- 6:06Speaker 5: you finally have to sort of play them in chronological
- 6:08Speaker 5: order to really have that effect?
- 6:10Speaker 3: Or does it not matter?
- 6:12Speaker 6: Doesn't really matter because the way we view concepts, it's
- 6:17Speaker 6: a similar way that Tristan Camp kind of got inspired by.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Kendrick, where it's more loose, it's not heavily tethered like
- 6:24Speaker 4: the way Cohe would do it.
- 6:25Speaker 7: It's more about the songs.
- 6:26Speaker 4: The songs are still number one, They're the most important things.
- 6:29Speaker 6: So we saw bangers on it and once the songs
- 6:32Speaker 6: are done, or kind of midway through we start interjecting.
- 6:34Speaker 4: A little bit of the story within the song, like
- 6:36Speaker 4: having a little ester x.
- 6:38Speaker 6: Or also it gets kind of like loaded and like
- 6:40Speaker 6: uninteresting at least I think that's probably I have a
- 6:43Speaker 6: concert albums.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Some he says, like it gets too like heady, and
- 6:46Speaker 4: we don't want to do that. We don't be able
- 6:47Speaker 4: to act still enjoy the songs as songs. And then
- 6:50Speaker 4: if you.
- 6:50Speaker 6: Want to go deeper, we have all this information, all
- 6:53Speaker 6: the things you can if you choose to.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Yeah, and you mentioned the single High which you've related,
- 7:00Speaker 5: so that features Alter Andy Brokers Urs in action. Why
- 7:04Speaker 5: did you choose them to be on that particular song
- 7:07Speaker 5: and what did they bring to it?
- 7:09Speaker 1: I thought Vick was just cute, so I just wanted
- 7:13Speaker 1: them on my tracks.
- 7:16Speaker 7: Not very we we're friends with them in real life,
- 7:19Speaker 7: so we just hitting them off.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I think Josh uh d m vic I could be
- 7:24Speaker 1: wrong with that, but uh yeah, we're just friends with them.
- 7:27Speaker 7: So like we just did it really Fastest said yes boom, yes.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Right, and all six of the bonus songs Gaurs that you.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Set one uh just it's just yeah, just that one.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Yeah, very sweet. You canna have any more singles coming out.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Dangerous comes out right before the the Lux comes out.
- 7:49Speaker 1: That's probably that's my personal favorite. I feel like that's
- 7:51Speaker 1: like the consensus favorite. I don't know what would say
- 7:54Speaker 1: as for its word, it's also very good. I think
- 7:57Speaker 1: the fans who love Shallow are gonna really love ask.
- 8:00Speaker 7: Word and Dangerous and be very happy.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Vince wrote the start of that in La came
- 8:08Speaker 1: with a little piano thing and the that was so sick,
- 8:11Speaker 1: and he brought us like the start of the Boors
- 8:14Speaker 1: and basically the first half of song. And we just
- 8:17Speaker 1: found him that on the studio and made it this
- 8:19Speaker 1: like kind of very cool, like shalloass song? I would say, yeah.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Nod before I let you go go it's I got
- 8:28Speaker 5: a new segment. I started COLDE Fighter Bom So basically
- 8:31Speaker 5: I'm throlling through social media before you got a chat,
- 8:33Speaker 5: and I picked out a couple of fighter I just said.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I want you to explain to me a bit better.
- 8:37Speaker 3: So God, oh afraid this funny?
- 8:43Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:44Speaker 3: Is that a picture of Nicholas Kites that you hold?
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:48Speaker 8: Yes, yes it is, Yes, it is.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Why that was on the set of High I saw
- 8:57Speaker 4: that pillow. Yeah, like a baby.
- 9:05Speaker 3: You fe very happy about it.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you should bottle of those really bad wagon Yeah yeah.
- 9:15Speaker 5: Character and the other one I found this one, like
- 9:22Speaker 5: that chick hat with a microphone is getting right, she's
- 9:26Speaker 5: loving it.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Oh wait, over, that's that. He's one of our amazing
- 9:34Speaker 7: fans like that. Just and Corney's in there right, those two,
- 9:40Speaker 7: like they go to so many of our shoves. They're
- 9:41Speaker 7: so awesome and bring us gips and stuff. So shouts
- 9:44Speaker 7: out to.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Yeah, shout out to Stephan Court. Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Did you often pick people out in the crowd and
- 9:52Speaker 5: handed the microphoners only people that united?
- 9:58Speaker 4: I don't know what the last this one? Yeah, oh yeah,
- 10:01Speaker 4: that was like tour. So I was like, we're doing
- 10:07Speaker 4: all sorts of things. Yeah, we have water guns.
- 10:10Speaker 7: We should tell a hot milk story.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Go ahead, Oh yeah, we sprayed hot milk with warm milk.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Right on the crowd.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's all over, it's all over everything. Jim's in
- 10:22Speaker 2: here's got damage. We paid for in time.
- 10:24Speaker 4: But it was fun, It was cool.
