On Eucharistic Covenant
Saint Paul, the patron of this holy house, urges us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which we have been called. And our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ reminds us that everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Both of these we can easily see fit into the eucharistic life, a life lived with thanksgiving to God. Yet it is our passage of Scripture from the Prophet Ezekiel that adds a new dimension into our thinking about eucharistic life, and that comes from reflecting upon God’s covenant with us as it is revealed in Scripture.
