  So today, we are discussing one of the most important decisions a married couple can make together.

  We are talking about choosing a mattress. That's right.

  You know, it's time for a new bed when your mattress has been with you longer

  than some of your friendships.

  I mean, after 10, 15, or even 20 years, you finally wake up,

  look at your spouse and say, honey, either we need a new mattress or we need a new back.

  And that's what Rachel and I did this weekend, this week, I should say.

  And I want to point out to you, there's no better person than to bring on Dr.

  E because it's a Monday and he is going to help us decide what it took for him

  to pick a mattress because because that's the most important thing,

  Everybody should get a mattress. How are you, my friend? I'm doing great.

  I'm really excited about today's topic. I mean, I thought when you said I have

  a surprise for you, we were going to talk about challenges of faith that are

  losing our way or, you know, how to turn the other cheek or how to love our neighbor.

  And I wake up today for our Monday session and we're going to be picking out
• 1:58
  beds. God bless us. That's it. We're going to the mattresses.

  As they say in The Godfather. Yes, exactly. It's important. Listen,

  you know, I've been sleeping on the same bed for over 13 years and it started to hurt.

  But I got to tell you, did you ever have, I think that finding a mattress is
• 2:14
  just as hard as getting a new car.
• 2:15
  It is amazing. I love it. And you know, it's funny.
• 2:18
  You watch grown, you know, men and women go into a mattress store and they all
• 2:23
  like lay out. First of all, they're very tented to that first.
• 2:25
  And they first put their little bottoms on, on the side and they kind of squeeze around a little bit.

  And then a half hour later, you know, they're laying in bed,
• 2:35
  they're doing snow angels. They're jumped, the kids are jumping up and down.

  You're deciding whether you want a posture pedic or whether you want to have
• 2:44
  one of those beds that, You know,

  you push a button and it comes up or it vibrates or does this, does that.
• 2:50
  And speaking of cars, some mattresses cost as much as a car.

  Yeah. And you know, it's funny. Here's the key thing, though.

  I can't get over what the changes have happened in the last 10 to 13 years.

  Here we go. Number one, the prices are more. The deliveries are more.

  But that's not the negative or anything. There's no nothing negative about it. But I will say this.

  I did not know that a bed could have two different sides.

  There's a plush side and a firm side. Did you know that? I did not know that.

  Okay, so we went to the place. We had everything picked out. We were ready to go.

  We even signed the dotted line. He's about to push enter on this little tablet.

  And I look over and I see my wife sit on this bed that we didn't even try out.

  And I get the look, the look of, oh, dear, this is the better bed.

  And I went, don't push the button.

  We have, there's weight, there's more. And sure enough, here is a bed that we
• 3:43
  get on, and I didn't know it.

  There, his and hers can be flipped. So she gets the plush side.

  I get the firm side. But if we want to switch, you just switch the mattress around.

  Wow. Can you believe that? Now do you have the one that like you press a button
• 3:57
  and it comes up and comes down? No, we didn't even need to do that because we
• 4:00
  found a bed that if we want to interchange, we can.

  So she may say, well, I don't feel plush tonight. I feel firm. Then let's flip.

  I mean, it's amazing. I guess, I guess the question that begs to be answered

  that I'll, I'll ask on behalf of all of our thousands of listeners here on Have Faith, Let It Begin,

  is does this mean that in nine months, you'll be announcing the arrival of a new baby Santana?

  No, because I was cut from the swim team, but that's a different episode.

  okay. Yeah, in Middletown. He's the one that sold us the bed and the manager over there.

  I also got to tell you something, Dr. E. I don't know when the last time you bought a bed.

  When you walk into this store, do you know there's a cafe lounge for us.

  The person that's buying a bed?

  Really? Yeah. They have a section. Get this. This is where the comedic part comes in.

  You go in, there's a section where you can have, ready for this,

  there's an ice cream fridge with all different flavors of ice cream.

  There's a water machine. There's coffee. There's cookies. There's mints.

  You name it. And then there's like a little area where you can just sit down

  and conversate about the mattress you're going to buy. Wow.

  I couldn't believe it. I had to have that for our, we need a couch and some
• 5:20
  coffee and some crumpets for the half faith.

  Let it begin podcast. I'm telling you, I, well, I guess as a matter of fact,

  I'm not coming back on, on another Monday unless I have that lounge that I could do my podcast.

  A lounge. Okay. Well, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to do one better

  because I have a final say before we go into a prayer. And that is this.
