Appleton Fisherman Dies in Breakwall Collision | Green Bay News
Tragedy struck early Monday morning when an 81-year-old Appleton man died after his 18-foot fishing boat collided with a breakwall near the Kewaunee Lighthouse Pier. The vessel, heading north from Kewaunee Harbor, struck the south side of the north breakwall, killing the pilot and leaving his 68-year-old passenger with minor injuries. The Coast Guard recovered the deceased from the water; authorities are withholding identities as they notify families.
