- 0:13Speaker 2: Man, now, thanks for thanks for joining us right before
- 0:18Speaker 2: we popped on. It seems like you guys grew up
- 0:20Speaker 2: in similar areas. Uh, Delaney, he takes great pride. He
- 0:24Speaker 2: is great pride and Promona Pomona.
- 0:27Speaker 3: You know what it is, bro, Stop playing well. So
- 0:29Speaker 3: we he was like, I bet you he's not from Pomona.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I said, Look, I said, no, I said, I said,
- 0:34Speaker 2: I said, Uh. The page we got said he is
- 0:37Speaker 2: from Riverside. He said, he ain't from Riverside. He from
- 0:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask him. You from the town, You're already
- 0:42Speaker 2: gonna know what's up?
- 0:43Speaker 4: He said. He do know what's up.
- 0:45Speaker 1: He said. Now, my grandparents grew up there, That's what
- 0:48Speaker 1: he said.
- 0:48Speaker 5: But my grandparents lived there. Oh, my dad, my brother,
- 0:51Speaker 5: my dad's brothers, i' my uncles. Yeah, I grew up
- 0:53Speaker 5: in Pomona. I lived there for a couple of years
- 0:54Speaker 5: at my grandparents house for a couple of years. But
- 0:56Speaker 5: no ship, I said, from the Empire.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Yeah, talk about I want to get into right away
- 1:02Speaker 2: because I feel like you have. You've had a fascinating
- 1:05Speaker 2: journey starting at Clemson. You were like you were like
- 1:08Speaker 2: you were the man coming out of high school. You
- 1:09Speaker 2: go to Clemson, transferre to Oregon State. Now you're transferred
- 1:12Speaker 2: to Florida State. Talk us through like the process of
- 1:15Speaker 2: now the transfer portal and your kind of journey of
- 1:17Speaker 2: going from Clemson, the Oregon State now Florida State.
- 1:21Speaker 5: I think, honestly, Man, it's nothing now I would have
- 1:23Speaker 5: thought of when I was coming out of high school
- 1:25Speaker 5: like this, what I would have been at here at
- 1:26Speaker 5: Florida State.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I would have been at three different colleges.
- 1:29Speaker 5: But I mean, I think at the end of the day,
- 1:31Speaker 5: I think that's part of the journey, what guys had
- 1:32Speaker 5: for me. I think that's the blessing in it. I've
- 1:34Speaker 5: learned a lot in my five years being here in
- 1:36Speaker 5: college and then for me, Man, I'm happy to be
- 1:39Speaker 5: here at Florida State.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I'm excited for the next journey. But it's been a blessing.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Guys put me through some trialge stribulation, some good, some
- 1:46Speaker 5: ups and downs. But for me, Man, I've been able
- 1:48Speaker 5: to come out of the fire on the other side
- 1:50Speaker 5: and just learn through the times that God's giving me.
- 1:52Speaker 2: So I've been blessed in the When you were at
- 1:54Speaker 2: Clemson that was like the pre and ile era, right.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Yeah, right before the state, right before.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I think about talk about how that's just developed over
- 2:02Speaker 2: time because you obviously wouldn't.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Be here if the transferport and all that stuff wasn't
- 2:05Speaker 1: going on. Talk about how like you've witnessed it all
- 2:08Speaker 1: kind of come to light.
- 2:09Speaker 4: I think it's been crazy.
- 2:10Speaker 5: I think Nil transfer portal, I think for me Man
- 2:13Speaker 5: and I, al's been a blessing. I think it's been
- 2:15Speaker 5: huge for me. For me, Man, it's been able to
- 2:17Speaker 5: take care of my family, be able to make extra
- 2:19Speaker 5: means for my family, be able to pay rent, be
- 2:21Speaker 5: able to pay for different stuff for my parents, mom
- 2:23Speaker 5: and dad, and different stuff like that. So for me
- 2:25Speaker 5: and I, al's been great. I mean that's something that
- 2:27Speaker 5: I would have never thought of. That's helping my family
- 2:29Speaker 5: out of help my life out, being my life a
- 2:31Speaker 5: lot easier. And then transfer portal, I think it's something
- 2:34Speaker 5: that's been for me Man, it's been beneficial. I mean,
- 2:37Speaker 5: be able to tri If it wasn't for the transport,
- 2:39Speaker 5: I wouldn't be able to be here at Florida State.
- 2:41Speaker 5: So for me, Man, I'm super excited about my time
- 2:44Speaker 5: for this next year of Florida State. I'm thankful the transferport.
- 2:46Speaker 5: I think it's a great tool as long as people
- 2:48Speaker 5: use it the right way. But I think it's great.
- 2:50Speaker 4: So what made you come back to the ACC though?
- 2:55Speaker 4: Coming back? For me, Man, I feel like Florida State
- 2:57Speaker 4: is the best fit.
- 2:58Speaker 5: I feel like coach Norvel, coach to Cards, coach Atkins,
- 3:01Speaker 5: everyone here on the offensive staff, I feel like it's
- 3:03Speaker 5: the best fit for me. I felt like the offense
- 3:05Speaker 5: played to my tools and my strengths, to what I
- 3:07Speaker 5: want to be as a quarterback when I do as
- 3:08Speaker 5: a quarterback. And also I felt like Florida State, Man,
- 3:11Speaker 5: I feel like they're on the rise, Like they had
- 3:13Speaker 5: a great season last year. Should have been the playoffs
- 3:16Speaker 5: in my opinion. But I feel like, Man, everyone's here
- 3:18Speaker 5: hungry to get a national championship, win another AC championship,
- 3:21Speaker 5: and that's what I want to do. Man, I want
- 3:22Speaker 5: to be able to come here and win, be able
- 3:23Speaker 5: to get developed, be able to be a great player.
- 3:25Speaker 1: In their coach novel, why don't why didn't it work
- 3:28Speaker 1: out with Clemson?
- 3:30Speaker 5: I think it's a multitude of things. I think for me, Man,
- 3:32Speaker 5: it was a blessing. I think coach Dad would think
- 3:34Speaker 5: all the people there, my boy coach Streeter, my quarterback coach,
- 3:37Speaker 5: and all the guys that were there. But I think
- 3:40Speaker 5: it was just it just didn't work out for I
- 3:42Speaker 5: think it was great at times. At times I was there,
- 3:45Speaker 5: I think things went well, but obviously things didn't work
- 3:47Speaker 5: out to how I thought it would and probably how
- 3:50Speaker 5: everyone else started with at Clemson. So for me, Man,
- 3:52Speaker 5: I felt like I wanted to go somewhere else and
- 3:54Speaker 5: just go somewhere different.
- 3:55Speaker 4: So that's why I ended up going to Oregon State.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Do you feel like it was like a clean break break?
- 4:00Speaker 5: I think I think so. For me, Man, I wanted
- 4:02Speaker 5: to start. I want to go somewhere. Fresh Man hear
- 4:03Speaker 5: in my mind, I want to go somewhere. I want
- 4:05Speaker 5: to do something different on offense, learn a different scheme,
- 4:08Speaker 5: and for me, I want to go do something different.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Played my strengths better.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Us being in this our age and not being able
- 4:15Speaker 3: to experience the portal like when you do hit the portal.
- 4:18Speaker 3: What is the feeling like after leave leaving a team,
- 4:21Speaker 3: do they feel like you turn your back on them, Like,
- 4:25Speaker 3: I mean, what's that feel like?
- 4:28Speaker 4: Locker room?
- 4:29Speaker 5: I mean, honestly, when I left Clumps, it was tough
- 4:31Speaker 5: because I mean all those guys I was there for
- 4:32Speaker 5: three years, coaching staff, the guys, support staff, all my players.
- 4:36Speaker 5: I mean all those guys. I was boys. I was
- 4:38Speaker 5: tight with them. I mean, honestly, I didn't want to leave.
- 4:40Speaker 5: But it's also like kind of like a business ission, Like, man,
- 4:42Speaker 5: if I want to be able to get to be
- 4:43Speaker 5: my best, I need to leave, you know, I need
- 4:45Speaker 5: to leave the situation. And it's tough, Like I mean,
- 4:47Speaker 5: when you're on a team, you're putting out tons of
- 4:51Speaker 5: working with guys every single day, like you're out here
- 4:53Speaker 5: in the summer, put it in working the summer, the spring,
- 4:56Speaker 5: then the season comes around and doing everything with your teammates.
- 4:59Speaker 5: You're around the guy, so you're bonding like you guys
- 5:01Speaker 5: are close, like it's a brotherhood for a lot of
- 5:03Speaker 5: people talk about on the locker room. I mean, you
- 5:05Speaker 5: guys know, being in the locker rooms like you're super close.
- 5:07Speaker 5: So leaving that part it's tough. We obviously know in
- 5:09Speaker 5: your heart, like it's the best decision I gotta do.
- 5:11Speaker 5: But and depending on how you are as a teammate
- 5:14Speaker 5: and as you are as a player. I think the
- 5:16Speaker 5: locker room that the team that you're leaving, I think
- 5:19Speaker 5: it shows like if the team's okay with you leaving, like, man,
- 5:22Speaker 5: you know what, DJ could be your best, like do
- 5:24Speaker 5: your best wherever you go, or some cases is like man,
- 5:27Speaker 5: I forget that dude.
- 5:28Speaker 4: If that dude like man, we ain't want to hear anyways.
- 5:30Speaker 5: I think that depends on I think that shows what
- 5:32Speaker 5: type of person you are in the type of character
- 5:34Speaker 5: that you left on that team.
- 5:35Speaker 4: And then the people around you.
- 5:37Speaker 3: So did you ask for their blessing when you did
- 5:40Speaker 3: hit the portal?
- 5:41Speaker 4: Like I just want to know, like, do you go
- 5:42Speaker 4: and talk to him?
- 5:44Speaker 1: I'm about to I'm thinking about making a move.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like, yo, you know I didn't. It's not
- 5:48Speaker 3: working out the way I thought. I wanted to know
- 5:51Speaker 3: I'm gonna do this anyway. I just wanted to see,
- 5:54Speaker 3: like what your blessing is because we didn't get to
- 5:56Speaker 3: experience it. And I feel like it's a great opportunity
- 5:58Speaker 3: for players nowadays because you do have the opportunity. Ain't
- 6:03Speaker 3: going away you you like, are they fired off? The
- 6:06Speaker 3: quarterback coach and you get a new one in he
- 6:08Speaker 3: don't like you, like it gives you that statute.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Yeah one percent.
- 6:12Speaker 5: I mean I think my first time I told I
- 6:14Speaker 5: called that one and let him know, like, hey, man,
- 6:16Speaker 5: I want to probably enter the portal.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm nervous for you.
- 6:20Speaker 5: I was definitely yeah, I know, like, yeah, I was
- 6:22Speaker 5: definitely nervous. You know, that's not a conversation you want
- 6:24Speaker 5: to have. That's not an easy conversation to have. It's
- 6:27Speaker 5: like if you're trying to like you're a head employee,
- 6:29Speaker 5: you want you know, you're talking to your employee, or
- 6:30Speaker 5: like you want to go talk to the boss. Yeah,
- 6:33Speaker 5: you know what, man, I think I'm leaving. So I
- 6:35Speaker 5: mean that conversation wasn't It wasn't. It wasn't the easiest.
- 6:37Speaker 5: But coach I think Coach Sweeney he understood where I
- 6:40Speaker 5: was coming from and then obviously he didn't want me
- 6:42Speaker 5: to go, but he understood, you understood.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Where the place I was at.
- 6:45Speaker 5: So I appreciate Coach Sweety for that making that conversation
- 6:48Speaker 5: a lot easier than a lot of head coaches w
- 6:50Speaker 5: instead of screaming like no, hell no, you're not gonna
- 6:52Speaker 5: leave not gonna leave me. But he made that easy
- 6:54Speaker 5: and he understood the process. We need absolutely transparency.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You live in the world.
- 7:00Speaker 2: We're all we all we all love capitalism, we all
- 7:02Speaker 2: love making money, we all love having all of our
- 7:05Speaker 2: decisions after our careers. Everything revolves around you know, what
- 7:08Speaker 2: are they paying here? What are they paying there? Since
- 7:10Speaker 2: you are somebody who has experienced the pre in IL
- 7:14Speaker 2: and now the NIL for what it is today, Like
- 7:17Speaker 2: when you're making the decision to go to a school
- 7:20Speaker 2: back when you when you first went to Clenson, back
- 7:23Speaker 2: when we played, You're like looking at it.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Is it a football factor?
- 7:26Speaker 2: You look at all these different assets of why you
- 7:29Speaker 2: go to school?
- 7:30Speaker 1: How does that change?
- 7:31Speaker 2: Like how much more does that like maybe not mean
- 7:35Speaker 2: as much with the whole nil, Like is it more
- 7:37Speaker 2: financially driven? Yea, when you make your decisions now when
- 7:40Speaker 2: you are doing the portal in the NIL and everything else.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I think high school I think is definitely different. I
- 7:45Speaker 2: think I mean it depends. I think it all depends
- 7:47Speaker 2: on case the case scenario. I think depends on the athlete.
- 7:50Speaker 2: What are there means? Like some athletes say, hey man, no,
- 7:52Speaker 2: oh see everyone their.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Goal is trying to get to the NFL and get
- 7:55Speaker 5: developed in college and go to a great place where
- 7:57Speaker 5: you get developed.
- 7:58Speaker 4: But in il it's it's also a plus. You know.
- 8:01Speaker 5: It's like, hey, you know what I do want to
- 8:03Speaker 5: make some money. I want to be paid for. Like
- 8:05Speaker 5: in some cases athletes like, hey, this is what I
- 8:07Speaker 5: feel like I'm worth, Like this what I want to
- 8:09Speaker 5: get paid for. And colleges will pay money out there.
- 8:12Speaker 5: So it is blessing and stuff like that. But I
- 8:14Speaker 5: think where it gets tricky is where people just want
- 8:17Speaker 5: to go like, hey, I want to go here, like
- 8:18Speaker 5: I just want to get paid. You know, they're just
- 8:20Speaker 5: going money first. At the end of the day, where
- 8:22Speaker 5: you make your real money as when we make it
- 8:23Speaker 5: to the NFL. You know, like this money in college
- 8:25Speaker 5: only lasts for a short amount of time. You know,
- 8:27Speaker 5: you're not making the big bucks for like all these
- 8:29Speaker 5: NFL players see they're signing their second contracts, some guys'
- 8:32Speaker 5: third contracts are making hundreds of millions of dollars. Like
- 8:35Speaker 5: that's where you're not getting paid that much in college.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Like that's that's where you make the real money. So
- 8:40Speaker 5: when you're going through the process, I would say in
- 8:41Speaker 5: high school, you're still going through the same process as
- 8:43Speaker 5: you were before.
- 8:44Speaker 4: At il you're looking.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Where you're going to get developed, where's the best fit
- 8:48Speaker 5: for you as a player, and where you're going to
- 8:49Speaker 5: be able to shine at to where you can be
- 8:51Speaker 5: able to make the big bucks in the NFL and
- 8:52Speaker 5: be able to be ready.
- 8:54Speaker 4: I think that's how it.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So like in your brain as an athlete, does you
- 8:58Speaker 2: say it checks all those boxes? Then does it kind
- 9:00Speaker 2: of like fall in a range of what a team
- 9:03Speaker 2: might be willing to pay for them to meet all
- 9:05Speaker 2: of the standards that you're kind of going through in
- 9:07Speaker 2: your head.
- 9:08Speaker 4: I think with that part, I think that comes second.
- 9:10Speaker 5: You know obviously, like when you're going through it, you're
- 9:12Speaker 5: picking the team, and then whatever the money is, I
- 9:14Speaker 5: think that's a bonus at the end of the day.
- 9:16Speaker 4: I mean you also you also, I mean you're it's
- 9:18Speaker 4: also a business.
- 9:19Speaker 5: So you want to be able to be paid what
- 9:21Speaker 5: you're worth, Like you don't want to get cheaped out
- 9:23Speaker 5: on anything, just like the NFL contracts.
- 9:25Speaker 4: You're like, man, like, this is what I'm worth.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Like, don't come out here with some bull with some
- 9:28Speaker 5: bull crap and tell me I'm not worth this, you know,
- 9:31Speaker 5: So I feel like it's also it's like the real world.
- 9:34Speaker 5: I mean, you got to be able to you got
- 9:35Speaker 5: to be able to conduct yourself as a business person
- 9:37Speaker 5: as also as an athlete at the same time.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's always so fascinated by that.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Mean too, they're such a different like they ultimately they're
- 9:44Speaker 2: in the shoes of like like he was just saying,
- 9:46Speaker 2: because when we're choosing the nfls, if we're choosing an
- 9:48Speaker 2: NFL teaven free agency where we feel like we're getting
- 9:51Speaker 2: compensated the best, or if it's a way better fit
- 9:53Speaker 2: or a winning team here right there.
- 9:55Speaker 4: You might take a little less money, might take a
- 9:56Speaker 4: little less money.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Like that's what our decisions are based around. Then too,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I almost.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Feel like as a as a college athlete, you you
- 10:04Speaker 2: do have to like try and stay like I guess
- 10:07Speaker 2: true a little bit to like where can I develop
- 10:10Speaker 2: a vehicle?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Because they're like, you know what I mean, they're young.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Well, I mean once you stop performing at a high level,
- 10:16Speaker 3: them nil deals stop. You're only getting it because you
- 10:20Speaker 3: was a top high school athlete. Are you that college athlete?
- 10:23Speaker 3: And they paying you for that reason? And sometimes I
- 10:26Speaker 3: feel like young athletes don't understand that, like, yes, you
- 10:29Speaker 3: are great, but once that performance drop, them nil deals.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Drop when they won't pay you. It's just like the NFL.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Once you don't perform at a high level, what you get,
- 10:40Speaker 3: you gone.
- 10:41Speaker 5: It's no different than free agency. You're in the pus.
- 10:44Speaker 5: It's no different. Like it just like you said, like
- 10:46Speaker 5: if you're gonna go somewhere and take the best fit,
- 10:48Speaker 5: like yeah, maybe it might not be a little bit
- 10:50Speaker 5: less money than somewhere else, but like at the end
- 10:52Speaker 5: of the day, it's the best fit. You're going somewhere
- 10:53Speaker 5: where you're gonna be the best fit to where you
- 10:55Speaker 5: can be able to make a lot of money.
- 10:57Speaker 4: So that's where I think, because.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Sometimes I feel like when they do give you all
- 11:00Speaker 3: that money, they expect you to perform right now, working
- 11:08Speaker 3: it up right now, like first rounders. If they don't
- 11:11Speaker 3: before they get two years after that's tag a year,
- 11:14Speaker 3: but they gone.
- 11:16Speaker 2: You feel like the locker room overall has like shifting
- 11:19Speaker 2: a different mindset with all the nil and guys understanding
- 11:23Speaker 2: who's making what come in here. I don't know if
- 11:25Speaker 2: you guys do, like I don't know if it's like
- 11:26Speaker 2: public knowledge, but do you feel any shifted off from
- 11:29Speaker 2: when you were first in locker room and Clemson toil
- 11:31Speaker 2: your last couple of years.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Honestly, I don't think so. I think it depends on
- 11:34Speaker 5: the team. I think some cases, you hear some teams,
- 11:37Speaker 5: they might get they talk about like oh, man, like
- 11:39Speaker 5: this guy's making this much, like why am I not
- 11:41Speaker 5: making that much? But I think when you're in a
- 11:43Speaker 5: brotherhood here like a Florida State, I think everyone understands, like, hey, man,
- 11:47Speaker 5: you make like this is your money.
- 11:48Speaker 4: You make your money. But like at the end of
- 11:49Speaker 4: the day, man, you come here to work.
- 11:51Speaker 5: You know, no matter how much money you make, how
- 11:53Speaker 5: much money you make off the field, Like, man, at
- 11:55Speaker 5: the end of the day, you got to come in
- 11:56Speaker 5: here and perform. You got to come in here to
- 11:58Speaker 5: the list, Like you're not missing no work that's because
- 12:00Speaker 5: you make an x amount of money or you're in
- 12:02Speaker 5: the portum made this much money, Like you're coming here
- 12:04Speaker 5: to perform, Like there's a standard to be met each
- 12:07Speaker 5: and every day, no matter how much money or if
- 12:08Speaker 5: you make.
- 12:09Speaker 4: No money here.
- 12:09Speaker 5: So that's why I feel like in Florida State, there's
- 12:12Speaker 5: no difference with how much money, say everyone makes, like
- 12:14Speaker 5: there's no difference with in Il with before and since
- 12:17Speaker 5: I've been here, it's like is your brotherhood, man, You're
- 12:19Speaker 5: coming here to work.
- 12:19Speaker 4: There's a standard to be met. You know how much.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Money you make and you know what I do with
- 12:24Speaker 3: some research on you, like if these guys don't know
- 12:26Speaker 3: like you really care about football, because you did. You
- 12:29Speaker 3: were drafted by the Dodgers as well, correct, yeah, yeah,
- 12:33Speaker 3: but didn't sign the contract. Yeah yeah, didn't sign a
- 12:37Speaker 3: contract though, So that just shows you like dedication to
- 12:40Speaker 3: the football, Like even though yeah, we know you got
- 12:42Speaker 3: a great NIL deal, but you could have signed with
- 12:45Speaker 3: baseball too and had a contract as well with them,
- 12:48Speaker 3: but chose to play football strictly, So that that says
- 12:51Speaker 3: a lot about you that how.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Appreciated there about the game. And the money really doesn't matter.
- 12:56Speaker 3: You just want to be in the NFL and I
- 12:58Speaker 3: know your family that's what they want to see you doing.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Oh yeah, and that's why they worked so hard to
- 13:02Speaker 4: get you to where you at.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You know, definitely, No, That's what I said.
- 13:06Speaker 2: It's everybody's curiosity is so high with all this all
- 13:10Speaker 2: the NIL stuff, and it's crazy. You have like a
- 13:13Speaker 2: you have a unique case and journey because you've kind
- 13:16Speaker 2: of been in both worlds and you're going, this is
- 13:18Speaker 2: your fifth year. Yeah, fifth year? What what what made
- 13:21Speaker 2: you leave or transfer from Oregon State? Did the coach
- 13:23Speaker 2: leave or the whole staff left?
- 13:25Speaker 5: My head coach left, So after our last game and
- 13:28Speaker 5: the next day our head coach, you ended up taking
- 13:30Speaker 5: the job in Michigan State, coach Smith. So when he left,
- 13:33Speaker 5: my quarterback coach, my tight end coach, my coach in
- 13:36Speaker 5: the first place, we had the main reasons why I
- 13:38Speaker 5: was there. It was the whole offensive staff. And like
- 13:41Speaker 5: when he left, the whole whole offensive staff left, and
- 13:44Speaker 5: he was he was the offensive guy, my quarterback coach, lineman,
- 13:47Speaker 5: offensive line, my tight ends, and that's the best damn
- 13:51Speaker 5: near the whole offensive staff left.
- 13:52Speaker 1: So I'm like, dang, yeah. Like when that left, and.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Then the Pac twelve, like not having a conference anymore,
- 13:57Speaker 5: or now that's being not in a conference anymore, like
- 13:59Speaker 5: that did help as well. I was like, well, shoot me,
- 14:02Speaker 5: I want to be able to compete for a national championship.
- 14:04Speaker 5: I didn't know like being in he can't, but I've
- 14:06Speaker 5: being in a conference, like in a big conference AC
- 14:08Speaker 5: Big twelve, Big ten, and SEC.
- 14:11Speaker 4: It's kind of hard to compete for that national championship.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Verd So was that when the Big twelve kind of
- 14:16Speaker 1: got blown up.
- 14:16Speaker 5: To be at Pack twelve, it was crazy, like it's
- 14:18Speaker 5: in the summer. I mean, for me, I grew up
- 14:20Speaker 5: on the West Coast, grew up and I'm from sun California.
- 14:23Speaker 4: I grew up a SC fan.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Years of me watching the Pack ten Pac twelve just
- 14:30Speaker 5: get dispersed and just leave.
- 14:31Speaker 4: It was crazy.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, but I mean you you're in a greater
- 14:35Speaker 3: opportunity to have success by going to a national championship
- 14:38Speaker 3: being here, especially after what they did last year.
- 14:42Speaker 4: You know, we'll be excited to watch and see what
- 14:44Speaker 4: you do.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Definitely, when when we found out I was interviewed, I'm like,
- 14:47Speaker 3: that's my dog.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, I'm like.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I'm for really Laney Walker Delaney was fired out.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I was fed like, yeah, that was my dog. Yeah.
- 14:59Speaker 3: So I'm glad that you got to do this interview
- 15:02Speaker 3: and we got to meet you, and man, I like
- 15:05Speaker 3: everything you're doing.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So you know, we wish you the best. I appreciate
- 15:08Speaker 1: you to find the stead real quick. Y'all didn't play?
- 15:11Speaker 1: Uh if y'all play Colorado. Last year we played Colorado.
- 15:19Speaker 1: They remember they Colorado Oregon. No Colorado's they start falling down?
- 15:27Speaker 1: When when did you all play that played them like
- 15:30Speaker 1: towards the end of the year. I got you.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I got you, because if y'all played them earlier, I'll
- 15:34Speaker 2: be curious like all the everything that was kind of
- 15:37Speaker 2: coming with Colorado Prime and everything else, crazy reality going
- 15:41Speaker 2: against and be like, yo, you know you're like wanting
- 15:43Speaker 2: to take everybody down.
- 15:44Speaker 4: There's Hella cameras on the field. That's all I remember.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Like I got to the field and it was packed
- 15:49Speaker 5: and like cameras everywhere, like Hella media.
- 15:52Speaker 4: I was like, damn, it's crazy.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Constant show. Yeah, constant show. It was wild, Like I
- 15:57Speaker 5: ain't never seen that many cameras on the field.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It was.
- 15:58Speaker 4: It was wild, Like on players, it was crazy following plays.
- 16:02Speaker 5: I think they had Kirk Franklin there. I was like, damn,
- 16:04Speaker 5: Hella celebrities and Kirk Franklin like k yeahs and stuff
- 16:10Speaker 5: come out.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Like oh damn this this Hella fire. Kirk Franklin.
- 16:14Speaker 2: They let a lot of yeah, they let a lot
- 16:15Speaker 2: of stuff. Dudes will be like doing their vlogs and stuff.
- 16:18Speaker 2: It was all types of celebrities on the FI. I'm like, Yo,
- 16:21Speaker 2: they led celebrities on the field during the game.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I was like, Man, who's coming to
- 16:26Speaker 4: the game. I'm like, the celebrities gonna be at the game?
- 16:29Speaker 1: Like who? Your thoughts? Your thoughts on not making the
- 16:33Speaker 1: college football playoffs? You guys want you guys?
- 16:36Speaker 5: Yeah, obviously I wasn't on the team, but I think
- 16:38Speaker 5: I think, honestly, I think they should have made it.
- 16:39Speaker 4: I think that sucks. I mean, when you go.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Underfeel, I don't think they should have made it here.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I think they just like sitting back, didn't get in.
- 16:47Speaker 4: I think it sucks. I think I knew. I mean,
- 16:49Speaker 4: I know in Florida State about saying.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Trouble.
- 16:56Speaker 4: I know, yeah, about saying a tough position.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Yeah, we always got we gotta mess with people every time.
- 17:04Speaker 3: But uh yeah, I mean my situation with that, the
- 17:10Speaker 3: Florida State situation, you know, I don't it was a
- 17:13Speaker 3: tough one th quarterback. I think that was a big play,
- 17:18Speaker 3: but yeah, it was. It was the play.
- 17:20Speaker 4: That's what that was.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Like, they have the top two guys, the top two
- 17:24Speaker 2: cats went down.
- 17:25Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. So that hurts you. I think that,
- 17:28Speaker 3: but you know, Alabama is the Alabama ball.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I was just hoping I wanted Michigan to go down,
- 17:34Speaker 2: and so in my subjective personal opinion, I thought Alabama
- 17:38Speaker 2: was more of a viable option, a healthier option to
- 17:41Speaker 2: take down Michigan.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So there was nothing against Florida States.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Then against Florida State. I just didn't have trust me.
- 17:47Speaker 3: I wanted y'all. Yeah, I know that's that's better though.
- 17:51Speaker 3: I'm glad they're doing that because they realized they jacked
- 17:54Speaker 3: Florida State, so they was like, we gotta put twelve.
- 18:00Speaker 4: You know, you want to championship and don't go like,
- 18:03Speaker 4: I mean, what else are you supposed to do?
- 18:04Speaker 5: You know, even with an injury with you and Travis
- 18:06Speaker 5: getting hurt, Like, man, when you win your conference without
- 18:08Speaker 5: your starting quarterback.
- 18:10Speaker 4: I mean, that's gotta say a lot.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that that was an unfortunate I mean, yeah, yeah,
- 18:14Speaker 2: that was a tough situation.
- 18:15Speaker 1: But hey, thank you, man, we appreciate you coming on
- 18:19Speaker 1: to watch. We got to come out. We was we
- 18:21Speaker 1: was out last night.
- 18:22Speaker 4: We hit the township.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I don't think he goes to that type of stuff,
- 18:27Speaker 3: but I heard about it just like, you know, I.
- 18:29Speaker 4: Just said township. He like, what go to that?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Going out?
- 18:33Speaker 4: Tell you he don't do that stuff?
- 18:35Speaker 3: Is being a yeah great the great athlete?
- 18:39Speaker 4: Yeah athlete, Yes, that's absolutely bro.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Do they Miami in Northwestern didn make you watch the
- 18:49Speaker 1: Year of the Bull for each season?
- 18:51Speaker 4: No, make you watch it, but you watched it.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I watched it.
- 18:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a stable Yeah, I watched it. Definitely watched that.
- 18:58Speaker 6: She was crazy you yeah?
- 19:00Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:02Speaker 2: Or the shower or the shower postgame meetings are they
- 19:04Speaker 2: a little different now?
- 19:06Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 19:06Speaker 4: A little different?
- 19:07Speaker 6: When well, I was there with coach maxes that it's
- 19:09Speaker 6: basically the same. He just he can't move as much
- 19:12Speaker 6: like coach Max. He was a deeper coordinator on new videos.
- 19:15Speaker 6: He was the head coach when I was there, but
- 19:17Speaker 6: he was he was exactly the same when it came
- 19:19Speaker 6: to screaming and cuts and all that. But but he
- 19:22Speaker 6: couldn't really slop people, you.
- 19:24Speaker 4: Know, running around. We can't really move as well as
- 19:27Speaker 4: did you ever try? You? Yeah?
- 19:29Speaker 3: Everybody, everybody get it.
- 19:32Speaker 6: I remember one time we was after like our first
- 19:35Speaker 6: two games. It was in the gym, and he was
- 19:37Speaker 6: going player for player, like even all the star players
- 19:40Speaker 6: on the team like it was me Cam Kitcheners from
- 19:42Speaker 6: Miami to safety Ramelo Grenson. He telling everybody what they're
- 19:47Speaker 6: doing wrong. He came, he said, Patrick, I don't care
- 19:49Speaker 6: how many touchdowns he school, you still ain't doing nothing
- 19:52Speaker 6: this year.
- 19:54Speaker 4: He was one of those type of players, like everybody respect.
- 20:00Speaker 3: How did they feel being rookie defensive Rookie of the
- 20:03Speaker 3: year for the ACC It felt great because like just
- 20:06Speaker 3: going through the season, I didn't even know I was
- 20:08Speaker 3: how it turns to even wind over.
- 20:10Speaker 6: I was just trying to play in just put my
- 20:12Speaker 6: name out there and make plays for the team. And
- 20:16Speaker 6: at the end of the season, coach Novel called me.
- 20:19Speaker 6: All the coaches just called me out. Woke up one morning.
- 20:21Speaker 6: I thought I was in trouble, but everybody called me.
- 20:24Speaker 6: They congratulated me, and I just felt great. I felt
- 20:27Speaker 6: love from the similar family and everybody.
- 20:31Speaker 3: And that's what's up. Like they come out be rookie
- 20:34Speaker 3: defensive Rookie of the year, ball out, do what you
- 20:37Speaker 3: do and then to come back, you know what I mean,
- 20:40Speaker 3: and still be successful here and uh, you know, we
- 20:43Speaker 3: got to talk about it because we heard about it.
- 20:45Speaker 3: But the portal, why did you mention the portal when
- 20:50Speaker 3: after having so much success here in Florida State.
- 20:52Speaker 6: It was a personal matter with like us and my
- 20:57Speaker 6: family when it came to certain stuff with and I
- 21:00Speaker 6: and all that. But I had to put my mind
- 21:03Speaker 6: to it just knowing that then I really is at
- 21:06Speaker 6: the next level for real, and I love Florida State.
- 21:10Speaker 6: So it was like, I know, it was a big
- 21:12Speaker 6: mistake on mind behind like when I think about it
- 21:14Speaker 6: some day, I'll be trying to think about it. When
- 21:16Speaker 6: I do think about it, I know why I messed up.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Money can to that because you're a Miami guy, so
- 21:21Speaker 3: you Florida all day, like being here in Florida State,
- 21:24Speaker 3: not too far from your family. But I understand what
- 21:26Speaker 3: you're saying about situations with your family and you got
- 21:30Speaker 3: to do the right thing for your family to be successful.
- 21:34Speaker 4: So I understand that.
- 21:35Speaker 3: When we read that, I just wanted to hear it
- 21:37Speaker 3: because she was like, no, I'm not hitting the portal.
- 21:39Speaker 4: I'm actually gonna stay.
- 21:40Speaker 3: And I see that as a big thing because you
- 21:42Speaker 3: look at some of these players that's coming out of
- 21:44Speaker 3: Florida State right now, top ten draft picks, dudes moving
- 21:47Speaker 3: up in their stock, and you are one of those
- 21:50Speaker 3: guys that's on the board already, it's being can be
- 21:54Speaker 3: in the top ten. You know what I mean if you,
- 21:56Speaker 3: you know, keep doing what you're doing, practice your craft,
- 21:58Speaker 3: and be successful as you are here in Florida. Stay
- 22:00Speaker 3: And I see that just by watching your film and uh,
- 22:03Speaker 3: the way you go out there and play the game.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yeah, man, how how quickly do you feel like you
- 22:08Speaker 2: were acclimated to the to the game speed or being
- 22:11Speaker 2: out there on game. They coming from Miami Northwestern, you
- 22:13Speaker 2: obviously played at a high level in high school, But
- 22:15Speaker 2: how quickly did you realize like, oh, yeah, yeah, I'm
- 22:18Speaker 2: still the same cat that I was. I was still
- 22:20Speaker 2: the same cat, and I'll be able to catch on
- 22:22Speaker 2: all this stuff quick.
- 22:23Speaker 4: It was really the year I won the Richie of
- 22:26Speaker 4: the Year.
- 22:27Speaker 6: We was playing against Louisville and I know, y'all know
- 22:29Speaker 6: jer Verse that saying he had got hurt. And so
- 22:33Speaker 6: when he got hurt, he just came off a big
- 22:35Speaker 6: game to LSU. So everybody looking at him like, oh,
- 22:38Speaker 6: he's the guy, He's the guy. Like even I was
- 22:40Speaker 6: like that still my god to this day. But he
- 22:42Speaker 6: had got hurt. He had a little mind, a little
- 22:44Speaker 6: injury that he couldn't play for the rest of the game,
- 22:47Speaker 6: and I just knew, like I knew something. They needed
- 22:51Speaker 6: somebody to step up at the time, and I had nothing.
- 22:53Speaker 6: Went in like I ain't even ask my coach if
- 22:55Speaker 6: I was in, and I just went in and I
- 22:58Speaker 6: made a player on the first very play I was
- 23:00Speaker 6: and it was a screen. I ran down the screen.
- 23:01Speaker 6: I made the play, and that's when my mind it
- 23:04Speaker 6: just slowed down, knowing like okay, Pat, you got this.
- 23:07Speaker 6: And I just went on the rest of it again.
- 23:09Speaker 6: I just made it plays. Then the next week came
- 23:12Speaker 6: and then I just went on from there.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Just started getting more wraps. When you were you ran
- 23:16Speaker 1: in and nobody was even saying.
- 23:18Speaker 6: Nobody saying nothing. He just I looked at him, I said, man,
- 23:21Speaker 6: and I went and out there, and then the next
- 23:24Speaker 6: week I had got my first sack, and then I
- 23:26Speaker 6: just went up there from there.
- 23:28Speaker 3: So if you had twenty eight solo tackles, seven sacks,
- 23:32Speaker 3: two force fumbles.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Several people used yeah, like.
- 23:37Speaker 4: Yeah, fresh, I mean.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Hey, that's what you want to see when somebody go down, You.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Going the game.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Ball like that. He was nervous when you first went in.
- 23:51Speaker 4: A little bit.
- 23:52Speaker 6: It was a big game to playing Louisville on a
- 23:54Speaker 6: Friday night, everybody watching. We was our first time winning
- 23:58Speaker 6: the all white uniformia. Yeah, I was a little nervous.
- 24:02Speaker 6: Yeah yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Take us to the moment where you guys are all
- 24:07Speaker 2: sitting around watching for the College Forball playoff and Florida
- 24:11Speaker 2: State doesn't get picked.
- 24:13Speaker 6: I mean, it was very heartbreaking just knowing like we
- 24:17Speaker 6: worked so hard from January all the way to December
- 24:21Speaker 6: just to try to show the world what Florida State
- 24:24Speaker 6: football is all about. And it really hurt me because
- 24:27Speaker 6: of my own main man, Jordan Travis. I know he
- 24:30Speaker 6: felt like in the moment, like everything was his fault.
- 24:33Speaker 6: I knew what he was going through the first few
- 24:35Speaker 6: weeks he got hurt like it was really because of him,
- 24:38Speaker 6: because I knew he felt like, oh if Alli never
- 24:41Speaker 6: got hurt, we was gone in the playoffs. That's what
- 24:44Speaker 6: it really was on my mind. I knew it was
- 24:46Speaker 6: hurt for the whole team too, but I just I
- 24:48Speaker 6: felt so bad for Jay trying because it wasn't his fault.
- 24:51Speaker 4: For real, It's just football. That's so true.
- 24:54Speaker 3: What he just said is kind of true, Like to
- 24:56Speaker 3: be that player and didn't hear everyone say that's the
- 25:00Speaker 3: reason why they didn't get in.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Yeah, like, yeah, did you.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Guys have an inkling that y'all weren't gonna get picked him?
- 25:06Speaker 2: I mean, where did you guys feel confident?
- 25:09Speaker 6: I felt like we felt confident coming off the Louisville
- 25:14Speaker 6: game because our defense we played so good, and we
- 25:18Speaker 6: had a true freshman out there quarterback respect the block game.
- 25:22Speaker 4: It was his first game really out there. You know,
- 25:25Speaker 4: a lot of a lot.
- 25:25Speaker 6: Of kids can't just go out there as a quarterback
- 25:27Speaker 6: and just go out there and just play like Joan
- 25:30Speaker 6: Travis on their first game out there. And then our
- 25:32Speaker 6: second sing quarterback he got a percussion in the Floorida
- 25:36Speaker 6: game too, So that just made our defense play so
- 25:39Speaker 6: good that game. So knowing that that was our mindset
- 25:42Speaker 6: when we go in these playoffs. If we get into
- 25:44Speaker 6: the playoffs, we just gonna play as hard as we
- 25:47Speaker 6: can on defense.
- 25:47Speaker 4: If they can't score, they can't win. And that's what
- 25:49Speaker 4: we did. We hold.
- 25:50Speaker 6: We held Louisville six points, two field goals, And that's
- 25:54Speaker 6: that was really our mindset.
- 25:56Speaker 3: That's real, that's really how that scenario win. Starting quarterback
- 25:59Speaker 3: go out extreme quarterback concussion started true freshman and the
- 26:04Speaker 3: Louisville Game championship. You get you know what I'm saying,
- 26:09Speaker 3: and it's still get overlooked.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that was a tough I'm sure it sucked.
- 26:17Speaker 4: It does.
- 26:18Speaker 3: I mean from hearing it from they mouth, it's sound
- 26:20Speaker 3: even worse just because it's like.
- 26:22Speaker 1: The result is ultimately out of your control.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Nothing y'all went what was it twelve and oh thirteen
- 26:28Speaker 3: and oh thirteen and oh that was the first time.
- 26:31Speaker 1: What happened? What happened with the Georgia game.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Georgia game.
- 26:35Speaker 6: I felt like, it's just Georgia, though the Georgia people
- 26:41Speaker 6: know that if we had our full team out there,
- 26:43Speaker 6: it would have been a complete different game.
- 26:45Speaker 4: We just had.
- 26:46Speaker 6: It was really how many starters on the on the
- 26:49Speaker 6: D line, it was one started out me and then
- 26:52Speaker 6: linebackers we oh we had d little one starter, you
- 26:56Speaker 6: know dB only one starter sha He Brown in the
- 26:59Speaker 6: same anything. It was for the offense, it's just all
- 27:02Speaker 6: our guns felt like they had to go put together
- 27:05Speaker 6: their training and get right and stay healthy for when
- 27:08Speaker 6: they come for their pro day and draft time. So
- 27:11Speaker 6: I respect them boys for doing what they had to
- 27:13Speaker 6: do because that's that's them boys career.
- 27:16Speaker 4: But that's all it was.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I mean, because y'all that y'all kind of looked at
- 27:19Speaker 3: the game as meaningless pretty much because they like, we
- 27:21Speaker 3: just we should have been in the national championship. Since
- 27:24Speaker 3: we been in a national championship, we about to go
- 27:27Speaker 3: get ready for this draft. And I understand that, and
- 27:30Speaker 3: that was probably like a team decision, because I like
- 27:32Speaker 3: that's how we heard.
- 27:33Speaker 4: It was like a.
- 27:34Speaker 6: Team decision where like, again, we're not gonna play so
- 27:36Speaker 6: and then Georgia came out with that mindset, Oh, we
- 27:40Speaker 6: should have got in too, so we're finn show the world.
- 27:42Speaker 6: Yeah we finished show y'all what we're finna do to
- 27:44Speaker 6: Florida State to get in with with their whole team, right,
- 27:47Speaker 6: So that's it was just it was just I wish
- 27:51Speaker 6: we could have had our whole team against them. They
- 27:52Speaker 6: was out there talking trash all. I just couldn't even
- 27:55Speaker 6: say nothing because I feel me I could have been like,
- 27:58Speaker 6: next year, bro, what we do next year?
- 28:04Speaker 2: Growing up in uh uh ain't going to Miami Northwestern?
- 28:08Speaker 2: What were some of your favorite schools growing up? Was
- 28:09Speaker 2: Florida State your favorite? And that's what you want to
- 28:11Speaker 2: play for.
- 28:12Speaker 6: It wasn't Miami was as crazy as Florida State wasn't
- 28:15Speaker 6: my favorite.
- 28:15Speaker 4: I used to like Miami. My daddy. It was the
- 28:19Speaker 4: biggest Florida State fan.
- 28:20Speaker 6: Ever since I've been able to talk, he'd been talking
- 28:22Speaker 6: about Florida State Deon Sam's guys like that, even when
- 28:26Speaker 6: they won the national championship. I watched the game with him.
- 28:28Speaker 6: He'd been his dream was for me to go to
- 28:32Speaker 6: Florida State. You don't matter what what sport I played, whatever,
- 28:35Speaker 6: He just wanted me to come play for Florida State.
- 28:38Speaker 6: I really was a big Miami fan growing up, just
- 28:40Speaker 6: because growing up in Miami is right there. You see
- 28:42Speaker 6: it every weekend. Your grandma got it on until he
- 28:45Speaker 6: got it on. And then what's crazy is nah, my
- 28:48Speaker 6: whole family don't even wear Miami no more. Everybody West
- 28:51Speaker 6: Florida State. It's just but it was a yeah, it
- 28:54Speaker 6: wasn't really a dream. It was a dream school just
- 28:56Speaker 6: knowing it's in Florida.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Right, But it was Were they close? Were they close
- 29:00Speaker 2: in your recruiting process? Like, were you close to going
- 29:02Speaker 2: to Miami or somewhere else over Florida State?
- 29:05Speaker 4: Not Miami?
- 29:05Speaker 6: Because I guess like no direspect to the new coach style,
- 29:08Speaker 6: but the old coach style they scheme was a little different.
- 29:11Speaker 4: In their positions.
- 29:12Speaker 6: They seen defent ends that's like outside linebacker and stand
- 29:16Speaker 6: up linebackers. So I guess they didn't really see me
- 29:20Speaker 6: as one of them big interior detail because.
- 29:22Speaker 4: You know, I was very skinny and stuff like that.
- 29:24Speaker 6: So there's no disrespect that like Mario crystaball or nothing
- 29:27Speaker 6: of it, because I know, like he's a big like
- 29:30Speaker 6: he could recruit a lot of people down there, so
- 29:32Speaker 6: I know if he was like coach, it would have
- 29:34Speaker 6: been a little closer.
- 29:35Speaker 4: But nah, they didn't really recruit me at all for real.
- 29:38Speaker 3: But Jo Pops really was like Florida State, It don't
- 29:41Speaker 3: even matter like all these other schools Florida States where
- 29:44Speaker 3: you're going pretty.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Much like you got on that zoon with coach novel,
- 29:47Speaker 6: just listening to him talk and even if how bad
- 29:51Speaker 6: I record was he had on first got here though,
- 29:53Speaker 6: so I wasn't really paying attention to that. I was
- 29:55Speaker 6: just focused on the way he talked and Holloway coach
- 29:58Speaker 6: O'Dell talked because he was here for so but just
- 30:00Speaker 6: listening to him on that zoom.
- 30:03Speaker 4: It just it clicked.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Yeah, what what team in the A C C Do
- 30:07Speaker 2: you look forward to playing two most this year?
- 30:09Speaker 6: This year, I feel like it's gonna be Clemson because
- 30:12Speaker 6: it's gonna be a big game. It's gonna be a
- 30:14Speaker 6: solid it's gonna be here. And you know our new
- 30:17Speaker 6: quarterback DJ I know him like in his mind what
- 30:21Speaker 6: type of game it's gonna be for him. So I
- 30:23Speaker 6: know what type of game that's gonna be when we
- 30:24Speaker 6: play Clemson, when we play Miami again.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's gonna be the two big games there.
- 30:31Speaker 1: You gotta you got any any other question for him? No?
- 30:34Speaker 3: I think everything you answered was great and we had
- 30:37Speaker 3: a great time talking to you.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Man.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I look forward to seeing you doing your thing. So
- 30:41Speaker 3: you're gonna be a star in the NFL. Man, just
- 30:44Speaker 3: keep your head straight and keep grinding.
- 30:46Speaker 2: That's but it's nothing we got to hit in in
- 30:55Speaker 2: the interview.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Who is it smelliest guy in the locker room? Present
- 31:00Speaker 1: a boy, dude, Kennon. We'll get right. We got to
- 31:02Speaker 1: smell goods. We brought the goodies, so needs it the most.
- 31:07Speaker 6: I'm gonna say, you gotta say one of the big
- 31:10Speaker 6: guys the old line of d Line.
- 31:12Speaker 4: It's one of one of the three hundred pound guys.
- 31:15Speaker 4: But I feel like we got it going. We're good.
- 31:19Speaker 4: But just for I'm gonna just say, Julian Urmela, I'm
- 31:28Speaker 4: just trying to get you right.
- 31:30Speaker 3: That's a free shout out with no shout out.
