- 35:59Speaker 33: he said, comes for my life or what else?
- 36:01Speaker 12: Saxophone your life real quiet?
- 36:02Speaker 17: If it had a song.
- 36:09Speaker 33: That learning how to past, it's probably not a progress double.
- 36:12Speaker 33: Either way, we got a lot of ship on our chests.
- 36:14Speaker 33: Probably that my folks had to go down the odd dress.
- 36:16Speaker 33: I guess his body because we didn't.
- 36:17Speaker 25: Need to leave around this.
- 36:20Speaker 35: I'm talking about.
- 36:21Speaker 14: I'm talking about.
- 36:22Speaker 12: I'm talking about, I'm talking your about. I'm talking about
- 36:25Speaker 12: that gay.
- 36:26Speaker 33: Busy didn't do that glass daring window night outside, but
- 36:28Speaker 33: the gas came in dot she.
- 36:29Speaker 12: Saw my glass I saw.
- 36:30Speaker 33: I asked a weird changed on them phone in talking
- 36:32Speaker 33: like three years hour that she gonna have me when
- 36:34Speaker 33: the high your window, girl, what the fun?
- 36:36Speaker 12: But the wind is a window.
- 36:37Speaker 33: She had my deep rising up like a cross window.
- 36:39Speaker 12: I'm scaring them, but closer.
- 36:40Speaker 17: The hambro.
- 36:47Speaker 14: I think we had the ham bro.
- 36:52Speaker 17: You just a child.
- 36:55Speaker 19: I don't blame you, mya. He's a money mamma.
- 37:08Speaker 34: Buy anybody's a socieze s size anybody.
- 37:16Speaker 19: Bug so pany honey like pain just feels weird.
- 37:28Speaker 5: All right, folks, Finally we've got Guya three on the
- 37:31Speaker 5: line with us.
- 37:31Speaker 6: How are you, Guya three?
- 37:34Speaker 4: I'm doing good. Sunny day in La.
- 37:36Speaker 5: How are you doing well? Enjoying the sun, of course,
- 37:40Speaker 5: and if there's any way to enjoy La, it's that
- 37:42Speaker 5: and talking about someone that has really brought all the
- 37:47Speaker 5: cultures together under one identity. Congratulations Guy three. I think
- 37:51Speaker 5: your sense of negotiation.
- 37:53Speaker 6: Is just a plus.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Thank you, Thank you Sam.
- 37:58Speaker 5: You know, you take this background of being classically trained
- 38:02Speaker 5: in the world of chronatic music and you have flourished
- 38:06Speaker 5: it into your own space. You know, how does one
- 38:11Speaker 5: take that journey? Explain that to us?
- 38:16Speaker 4: I think it's mainly by intuition.
- 38:20Speaker 3: I think that in some songs, the carnotic elements are
- 38:24Speaker 3: a little bit more like forward facing and more in
- 38:27Speaker 3: your face, and then in some songs they're very very hidden,
- 38:32Speaker 3: are just like a little bit more tucked in.
- 38:34Speaker 4: I think that's really cool, And I think based on.
- 38:36Speaker 3: What I want to say and what the song is like,
- 38:39Speaker 3: I kind of decide that way for self esteem, Like the.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Indian elements are a little bit you know, not as obvious.
- 38:47Speaker 3: I'm wearing a long ponytail and jasmine in my hair,
- 38:51Speaker 3: which goes back to the Indian tradition of bad Natim,
- 38:55Speaker 3: which is a South South Indian costco dance. And even
- 38:59Speaker 3: in the way that I think some of the first
- 39:01Speaker 3: praises and self esteem, I feel like there's some nuance
- 39:04Speaker 3: there for my chronomic training. But yeah, I think it
- 39:07Speaker 3: depends on the song and how I'm doing.
- 39:10Speaker 5: That's amazing. That's amazing. Checking out your live stage performance,
- 39:15Speaker 5: one of the things that really captivated me was the
- 39:18Speaker 5: element of dance into your music and how it just
- 39:21Speaker 5: blends together. There's this kind of like you know, forget
- 39:25Speaker 5: three D or for dy, there's this like sevent y
- 39:28Speaker 5: like kind of performance element I get from you from
- 39:30Speaker 5: all the different senses that you touch on. That's that's
- 39:34Speaker 5: pretty amazing To capsule all of that background on stage
- 39:38Speaker 5: and one product, if you will. You know, I know
- 39:42Speaker 5: it's by intent and it's by design. How did you
- 39:45Speaker 5: negotiate through that? How did you figure out like, Okay,
- 39:47Speaker 5: here's where we do this, and here's where we do that,
- 39:50Speaker 5: and you know, give us a sense of that process
- 39:53Speaker 5: of how you design what you do on stage.
- 39:57Speaker 3: I think every performance is an experiment within it self.
- 40:00Speaker 3: I think that my set explores so many different parts
- 40:05Speaker 3: of the human psyche because we start off like meditative,
- 40:09Speaker 3: and then I'm kind of seeing some songs that I
- 40:11Speaker 3: have neo soul, and then we're going to jazz and
- 40:15Speaker 3: kind of even maybe like a little bit more harder
- 40:18Speaker 3: hitting R and B. So I'm kind of exploring everything
- 40:22Speaker 3: and I just kind of, I guess, visualize what I
- 40:26Speaker 3: want each song to emote, and I think dance and
- 40:29Speaker 3: music go hand in hand, So I'm experimenting.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Every set, I just and just kind of figuring it out.
- 40:36Speaker 3: But like in my Dialed inset, I'm doing a lot
- 40:40Speaker 3: of the new stuff, which isn't super movement heavy, so
- 40:43Speaker 3: I'm kind of leaning more into the vocals, and then
- 40:45Speaker 3: I start with like my older stuff that's a little
- 40:47Speaker 3: bit more upbeat, and then I kind of go into
- 40:50Speaker 3: the more slower, newer sound that's a little bit more heartfelt.
- 40:54Speaker 3: So you guys are seeing me figure it out on stage,
- 40:58Speaker 3: to be honest, I think I think that's the part
- 41:00Speaker 3: about like art, right, we were experimenting and seeing each
- 41:04Speaker 3: other experimentally real time.
- 41:06Speaker 5: Well, it certainly looks like a polished product that does
- 41:08Speaker 5: not look like you're figuring it out, at least for
- 41:10Speaker 5: what we can tell. So it looks awesome and it's
- 41:13Speaker 5: genuinely you, and we can see that on stage. Your
- 41:17Speaker 5: your music is captivating because I feel that it is
- 41:23Speaker 5: so honest and it's so true. And if there's any
- 41:27Speaker 5: kind of you know, anything that I've taken away from
- 41:29Speaker 5: just even what we've talked about here in this interview
- 41:32Speaker 5: is that you're you're very authentic. And and then you
- 41:36Speaker 5: have this song like self Esteem that we're going to
- 41:38Speaker 5: play after this interview, by the way, which would love
- 41:40Speaker 5: you to introduce for us.
- 41:41Speaker 6: It's gonna be a treat.
- 41:41Speaker 5: But you know, here's a song that is so personal
- 41:44Speaker 5: and and talks about your journey in the music industry
- 41:48Speaker 5: and ties it in in a way where it's like,
- 41:51Speaker 5: you know, put in front of people as though it's
- 41:54Speaker 5: a love song. And that's very interesting, and I want
- 41:59Speaker 5: to ask you that give us the relationship between those
- 42:02Speaker 5: two parallels that you draw on this song.
- 42:06Speaker 3: Yeah, so I didn't intend it as a love song
- 42:09Speaker 3: at all, but I think once I started writing and
- 42:11Speaker 3: then we got to the first took, I was like, wait,
- 42:14Speaker 3: I think this could be read as a love song,
- 42:16Speaker 3: which I think is really cool and it's super universal, right,
- 42:19Speaker 3: because I think being in music in the music industry
- 42:22Speaker 3: is universal to people that are doing music, But I'm
- 42:25Speaker 3: not sure if that sentiment can be related to people
- 42:29Speaker 3: around the world.
- 42:29Speaker 31: You know what I'm saying.
- 42:30Speaker 4: So I think it's cool that, like, if you.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Are a music person or you're in a creative industry.
- 42:36Speaker 4: Like you can relate to it in that way.
- 42:38Speaker 3: But I think in a universal sense, it's just talking
- 42:41Speaker 3: about feeling frustrated and feeling like you're finally realizing your
- 42:46Speaker 3: self worth that you don't have to run so hard
- 42:49Speaker 3: and try so hard to receive love from somebody that
- 42:52Speaker 3: you care about. And I think that is something that
- 42:55Speaker 3: we can all relate to, whether you're in corporate or
- 42:57Speaker 3: in creative or family dynamics or romantic dynamics. Like, that's
- 43:02Speaker 3: a sentiment that mostly everyone has felt, I think, so
- 43:06Speaker 3: it just kind of turned out to be that way.
- 43:07Speaker 6: Yeah, Yeah, that's beautiful.
- 43:11Speaker 5: I feel like you'd be a really good person to
- 43:14Speaker 5: answer this question because.
- 43:17Speaker 6: I feel that you.
- 43:19Speaker 5: Carry a great amount of responsibility in the work that
- 43:22Speaker 5: you put out, And the question that I have for
- 43:24Speaker 5: you is, let's imagine, let's not imagine actually there is
- 43:28Speaker 5: somewhere here in LA a young South Asian girl who
- 43:33Speaker 5: is listening to this interview right now, that is looking
- 43:36Speaker 5: at you with wide eyes saying, Wow, this is the
- 43:38Speaker 5: coolest thing I've ever seen in an individual. I want
- 43:43Speaker 5: to be like her. What is the advice you give her, Gadri.
- 43:49Speaker 3: You don't have to rush, You can take your time.
- 43:54Speaker 3: You can always listen to yourself, you can always take breaks.
- 43:58Speaker 3: And if they're feeling in it, and if you feel it,
- 44:01Speaker 3: someone out there is going to feel it too.
- 44:04Speaker 5: Well put, really really well put. I think that's excellent advice.
- 44:10Speaker 5: I have one last question for you before we introduce
- 44:13Speaker 5: this great song of yours. You know you're you're heading
- 44:16Speaker 5: out to the UK, You've got this big festival heading
- 44:19Speaker 5: up here dialed in and you know you're going to
- 44:22Speaker 5: be in front of people that are of all kinds
- 44:25Speaker 5: of backgrounds, more likely not of the same one as you.
- 44:29Speaker 5: But how do they receive you? What do the eyes
- 44:31Speaker 5: look like to you? In the audience?
- 44:34Speaker 4: I feel it for audience is pretty mixed.
- 44:37Speaker 3: I think the thing that ties ties my music to
- 44:41Speaker 3: together is not that I'm South Indian or that I
- 44:43Speaker 3: have South Indian elements in it. I think every single
- 44:46Speaker 3: one of my songs has a really deep emotional core
- 44:49Speaker 3: to it, and I think emotion questions is something that
- 44:54Speaker 3: can be felt across across any type of race and ethnicity.
- 44:59Speaker 3: So I feel like, yeah, that's the thing that ties
- 45:02Speaker 3: me together. And I'm just hoping people like will feel
- 45:05Speaker 3: the music and we'll feel the lyrics and we'll hopefully
- 45:08Speaker 3: relate that way.
- 45:09Speaker 4: But yeah, that's to say, I love it.
- 45:12Speaker 6: I love that.
- 45:13Speaker 5: That's so cool. All right, So, Guy three, we're about
- 45:16Speaker 5: to play self Esteem. If you can do us the
- 45:18Speaker 5: honors of announcing and introducing this song for us.

- 48:09Speaker 5: experience in the business with a song like that is

- 50:25Speaker 5: Enjoy really enjoyed our converse with Gaya three today. She
- 51:03Speaker 5: told me that she'd been training in garnautic music for
- 51:06Speaker 5: a really long time at a young age, and so
- 51:09Speaker 5: dancing and singing and playing the keyboard all kind of
- 51:14Speaker 5: worked at the same time for her, and you got
- 51:17Speaker 5: the feeling that she never looked at her work in
- 51:19Speaker 5: any separate way other than combining all that together in
- 51:22Speaker 5: one place, and she certainly accomplished that. Shout out to
- 51:26Speaker 5: Gaya three. But now, folks, let's bring in Douita das

- 58:28Speaker 5: get to prove on air. The classical and contemporary were
- 58:32Speaker 5: never two different worlds. We were just taught to keep
- 58:35Speaker 5: them in separate rooms. And Guy three Kristian never accepted that.
- 58:39Speaker 5: She came up in granatic music, the centries old classical
