- 2:43Speaker 1: do that. It's all going to be vetted. But I
- 2:45Speaker 1: feel like this is a really Donald and I had
- 2:47Speaker 1: this idea, like there's somebody out there whose life could
- 2:51Speaker 1: really be changed for the better, who can't get to
- 2:54Speaker 1: the job that they wish they could have because they

- 4:06Speaker 1: darn thing. We had Joel Daniel and the Donald Faison.

- 4:14Speaker 1: the legendary, the legendary Johnny McGinley, the King. So please
- 4:19Speaker 1: go check it out. We had a lot of fun
- 4:20Speaker 1: and we think you'll enjoy it. Hi guys, I Hi friends, Aloha.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Are you doing there a day of soon? I'm well,
- 4:30Speaker 1: how are you? Zach? Is that your dog that's barking?
- 4:35Speaker 1: That is my dog that's barking. I like your hoodie.
- 4:38Speaker 1: It's it's got mouse ears on it. Well, you know
- 4:42Speaker 1: me and the mouse. You know how much I love
- 4:45Speaker 1: the mouse. Right, But this is a really cool sweatshirt
- 4:48Speaker 1: for you listeners at home. It's a it has a
- 4:50Speaker 1: hoodie and then on the hoodie are two hoodie ears
- 4:53Speaker 1: for me? Got it at Disneyland? Yeah, you look you
- 4:58Speaker 1: are so ski in this episode. Yeah I noticed that too,
- 5:03Speaker 1: did you. I am you're working out your characters in
- 5:06Speaker 1: the gym, but you're like, I mean, you look better
- 5:08Speaker 1: than Taye Diggs. I mean, I don't you know when
- 5:10Speaker 1: I look, that's nuts and no, nothing is better than
- 5:14Speaker 1: Tay Diggs and I will fight anyone to the death.
- 5:18Speaker 1: In my humble opinion, you look more handsome and blast
- 5:23Speaker 1: for me than the Tay Diggs. I mean, this episode
- 5:27Speaker 1: has so much fucking funny, shouldn't it. I laughed out loud.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I laughed quite a bit. Also, um, I will say
- 5:34Speaker 1: this this. I look back at this and I remember
- 5:37Speaker 1: thinking to myself, Wow, I thought I was so chubby
- 5:40Speaker 1: when making this, you know what I really then you
- 5:43Speaker 1: might have body dysmorphia. No, it all boils down to
- 5:47Speaker 1: remember the Titans. That's the most ripped I had ever
- 5:50Speaker 1: been in my life up until Uh, kick Ass too
- 5:55Speaker 1: and so too? Were you more ripped? In kick Ass two? Oh?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Kick Ass two, I was man ripped. And remember the Titans.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I was a little boy. You know what I mean,
- 6:04Speaker 1: so it's like you get ripped and the abs don't
- 6:07Speaker 1: look the way you want them to look. They're kind
- 6:09Speaker 1: of you know what I mean? And kick Ass two
- 6:11Speaker 1: and and what's crazy is in kick Ass two, I
- 6:13Speaker 1: never take off my shirt or anything like that. But
- 6:16Speaker 1: because I wanted to look feel like a superhero, I'd
- 6:18Speaker 1: got in six shapes, Right. I gave you a good
- 6:20Speaker 1: rationalization to get ripped. That was real ripped. That was
- 6:24Speaker 1: like man ripped where the abs looked like squares and
- 6:27Speaker 1: not little squiggly lines across you know what I mean?
- 6:30Speaker 1: Like that was that real shit? That was like yeah, anyway, um,
- 6:34Speaker 1: but I remember thinking I was so so because of that,
- 6:37Speaker 1: because of because of remember the Titans not being able
- 6:43Speaker 1: to you know, having a flat stomach and being toned
- 6:45Speaker 1: and everything like that was was fine, but it wasn't
- 6:49Speaker 1: and it wasn't like you know, I I shitted on
- 6:52Speaker 1: myself and I gave myself such such a complex because
- 6:57Speaker 1: I felt like it wasn't good enough. Like remember the
- 6:59Speaker 1: Titans at that point was that was peaked, that was
- 7:02Speaker 1: fighting way. Well. I want you to know that I'm
- 7:04Speaker 1: watching this episode and there is your character in the gym,
- 7:08Speaker 1: but even separately aside, I noticed that you looked particularly good.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm trying again, man, we all try. Like you know,
- 7:17Speaker 1: what's great is that I have the rest of my
- 7:19Speaker 1: life to try and figure this out. Yeah, you know
- 7:23Speaker 1: what I mean. You know what I mean, the rest
- 7:27Speaker 1: of my life. You know. It just uh, it just
- 7:31Speaker 1: takes commitment. And if you fall back off the horse,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you can get your ass right back on. That's right.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I went up to Hudson, New York, which I highly
- 7:39Speaker 1: recommend to anyone who visits the East Coast. It's two
- 7:42Speaker 1: hours north of Manhattan, and you can take a train
- 7:45Speaker 1: there or drive there, and it's this beautiful, little cute
- 7:49Speaker 1: town and they have great restaurants and a little inns,
- 7:53Speaker 1: and a good friend of mine owns a bar there
- 7:55Speaker 1: that you should go visit called Back Bar. Anyway, it
- 7:59Speaker 1: was really really cool, and I thought of it because
- 8:01Speaker 1: I certainly was eating like a fool and drinking like
- 8:05Speaker 1: a fool um and came back feeling like I was
- 8:08Speaker 1: four months pregnant. Really, but I was back in the
- 8:11Speaker 1: gym today, baby hurt. Even though it hurt, I had
- 8:14Speaker 1: the most amazing meals and the place is awesome and
- 8:17Speaker 1: it's very romantic. I highly recommend it. I don't know
- 8:21Speaker 1: why I'm doing an ad for Hudson right now, but
- 8:22Speaker 1: it's a great place to visit. Um. But anyway, the
- 8:25Speaker 1: point is we all have those weekends where we eat
- 8:30Speaker 1: our weight in naughty food and drink and then what
- 8:33Speaker 1: happens Monday morning? Back on the wagon, Donald Phazony, mean,
- 8:38Speaker 1: my body is very made fun of in this episode.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Talk about this. That's the thing. Though I was not exercising.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I wasn't overweight, obviously, there was you know, Doughey if
- 8:49Speaker 1: you will, but I wasn't over that badly overweight. But
- 8:52Speaker 1: I wasn't going to the gym obviously, and there's no
- 8:54Speaker 1: tone to my body. The whole joke is that next
- 8:56Speaker 1: to Keith, who's a ripped Adonis with his dynamite ariolas.
- 9:02Speaker 1: That's where is this where dynamite ariolas comes from? Yes,
- 9:05Speaker 1: this is the this is the episode where you think
- 9:08Speaker 1: you're better than me, Keith with your rock card abs
- 9:11Speaker 1: and your dynamite ariolas. Hide Joel, I think that's um,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I think I made that lineup. Well, I'm proud to
- 9:19Speaker 1: say because it's uh, it's pretty funny. Well, it's traveled
- 9:23Speaker 1: all the way over to faked Doctor's real friends. That's
- 9:27Speaker 1: like one of the early episodes. You talk about my
- 9:29Speaker 1: ariolas and you call them dynamite ariolas. Well, you haven't
- 9:31Speaker 1: melted her She's kisses, which are beautiful, but you think
- 9:34Speaker 1: you're better than me, Keith with your rock hard abs
- 9:37Speaker 1: and your dynamite ariolas. Like, why is JD commenting on
- 9:40Speaker 1: another man's ariolas because he's jealous? He wants them? Keith
- 9:44Speaker 1: looks good, though, I gotta say he does. Yeah, let's
- 9:47Speaker 1: let's keep that one hundred. Yeah, I want to say that.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Can we jump off topic real quick? I know we're
- 9:53Speaker 1: all we're trying to all in different locations before we do.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Is that what you're gonna jump off? All of our
- 9:58Speaker 1: backgrounds are now officially different. Yeah, Daniel, you're on vacation somewhere.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I am actually returning from vacation, and I'll keep this
- 10:07Speaker 1: section short. But while I was on vacation, I was
- 10:10Speaker 1: exposed to someone who is exposed to someone unvaccinated who
- 10:14Speaker 1: tested positive for COVID. Didn't find out till a couple
- 10:17Speaker 1: of days later. So I'm currently quarantining at my parents' house.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Before I go back to my place with my lovely Stephanie. Okay,
- 10:24Speaker 1: but have you been tested and don't have it? So
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm getting tested tomorrow. I'm waiting till five days after exposure.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm getting a PCR test tomorrow morning, and then I'll
- 10:31Speaker 1: find out. Okay, and the well, are you just in
- 10:34Speaker 1: your going kitchen but a different angle or something? Yes,
- 10:36Speaker 1: this is my kitchen. My dog is up from a nap.
- 10:39Speaker 1: She's not allowed in my room. My brother has to edit,
- 10:41Speaker 1: so I'm pulling double duty, dog parent duty and producer duty.
- 10:45Speaker 1: We're getting it, don okay, and Donald's in his new
- 10:47Speaker 1: office and I'm in my apartment. It's a whole new
- 10:51Speaker 1: close your eyes, a whole new than your Breton. It
- 10:56Speaker 1: gets better. No, no go say we're only dreaming, Oh
- 11:05Speaker 1: new world. Listen, Delta Delta or not. Broadway is coming
- 11:14Speaker 1: back and I am going to be the first in line. Mofos.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Don't you dare close your eyes? Jowell? Did you see that?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Sarah Barellas posted a video of them at first rehearsal,
- 11:28Speaker 1: the company singing opening up the opening song of Way Droope.
- 11:33Speaker 1: But I'm checking it out as soon as we wrap
- 11:34Speaker 1: up here I reposted it on my Instagram and I
- 11:38Speaker 1: was like, I'm already waiting outside. It so exciting. And
- 11:42Speaker 1: there's another video that was very moving. This young African
- 11:46Speaker 1: American stage manager is caught is a netmaking announcement to
- 11:50Speaker 1: the audience. You can't see the audience, you only see him.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I also you can search for this online. But he
- 11:56Speaker 1: he makes the announcement. He goes, ladies and gentlemen, welcome
- 11:59Speaker 1: to the very first production of Broadway post Pandemic. And
- 12:03Speaker 1: the crowd you can hear them go crazy, and he
- 12:06Speaker 1: kind of gets moved, and you see that he's looking
- 12:09Speaker 1: at the monitor and he goes it, turns to his friend,
- 12:10Speaker 1: he goes, oh my god, they're giving it a standing ovation,
- 12:13Speaker 1: And it was just so heartwarming and moving that Broadway
- 12:16Speaker 1: is doing everything it can to come back. I'm excited,
- 12:20Speaker 1: like not that I was going to Broadway a lot
- 12:22Speaker 1: back in the day, but I'm just excited that, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 1: there are a lot of actors and actresses and people
- 12:29Speaker 1: who work behind the scenes and everything who were out
- 12:32Speaker 1: of jobs for musicians and everything who were out of
- 12:34Speaker 1: jobs for a really long time. And it's an art form,
- 12:38Speaker 1: and I respect every art form. And so, and also
- 12:41Speaker 1: I have a personal stake in it. Also my mother
- 12:43Speaker 1: is an agent to so many fabulous and wonderful Broadway performers,
- 12:49Speaker 1: and so, you know, I'm really excited for this, for
- 12:53Speaker 1: this form of expression to have its chance again. And
- 12:56Speaker 1: I feel like because of pandemic, it's going to have
- 12:58Speaker 1: a big opportunity. Yeahcause people are looking for something, looking
- 13:02Speaker 1: for something different, and for two years of not seeing shows,
- 13:07Speaker 1: two years off and you have to be vax you
- 13:09Speaker 1: have to show your vaxed card to go. So if you're,
- 13:12Speaker 1: for some reason one of those people who doesn't want
- 13:14Speaker 1: to get vaxed, maybe seeing a Broadway show will be
- 13:17Speaker 1: your raison hopefully. Yeah. Um, but I'm very excited to
- 13:23Speaker 1: go see Waitress and to see um everything. I'm literally
- 13:27Speaker 1: she's gonna break out into I'm not gonna write to
- 13:29Speaker 1: a love song in the middle eight in the middle
- 13:32Speaker 1: of Waitress. No, I don't think you understand how good
- 13:35Speaker 1: Waitress is and also how Sarah Barellis is such a
- 13:38Speaker 1: savant that not only did she write the music and
- 13:41Speaker 1: lyrics for the show, but has taken to starring in
- 13:45Speaker 1: it and blowing people away with her acting ability. Um,
- 13:48Speaker 1: I sound like Sarah's publicist, but she is a really,
- 13:51Speaker 1: really talented human being. So no, no, she's not gonna
- 13:57Speaker 1: break into her her album. All right, let's get in
- 14:01Speaker 1: the show. Base. Before we get into the show, I
- 14:03Speaker 1: just wanted to talk about one more thing with you.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I just completed my first writer's room ever. Unders applause,
- 14:11Speaker 1: Danniel or Zach This is the hardest thing ever in
- 14:16Speaker 1: the history of things. And it was a lot of fun,
- 14:19Speaker 1: and you know, but to simplify something that you've spent
- 14:24Speaker 1: so much time thinking about, it's probably one of the
- 14:29Speaker 1: hardest things so far that I've had to do. And
- 14:32Speaker 1: we're not even new. It's a whole new chapter of
- 14:35Speaker 1: your career because you've never done. Just too quickly. For
- 14:37Speaker 1: people who aren't in the business, a writer's room is
- 14:40Speaker 1: the obvious. It's when writers of a show sit around
- 14:44Speaker 1: a table or in this case in these days, often
- 14:46Speaker 1: a zoom and create something together under the under the
- 14:51Speaker 1: leadership of a leader who's called the showrunner. In this
- 14:54Speaker 1: case that's Donald. I'm not I'm not necessarily the show
- 14:58Speaker 1: running right now. It was pretty much we were all
- 15:02Speaker 1: trying to figure out how to do it. The budget,
- 15:04Speaker 1: it's your baby, so you yes, but I'm also taking
- 15:09Speaker 1: you know, it's also my first writers rooms, so I'm
- 15:11Speaker 1: also taking a lead from people who have been So
- 15:14Speaker 1: was it successful? How many episodes did you write? We
- 15:18Speaker 1: we we were supposed to come up with ten episodes
- 15:22Speaker 1: we wrote to be careful. Uh, something like seventeen episodes
- 15:27Speaker 1: and then three premises? Wow? So sorry, sixteen and four
- 15:33Speaker 1: something like that. I could be wrong. That is no
- 15:36Speaker 1: small feet I have. I have a bunch of papers
- 15:39Speaker 1: in front of me. Now I'm very proud of you. Sorry,
- 15:42Speaker 1: fifteen fifteen, I'm very proud of you. Thank you very much.
- 15:46Speaker 1: It's one of the most difficult things ever because then
- 15:49Speaker 1: after you after you come up with the idea, it's like,
- 15:51Speaker 1: how do I make this two minutes? Now you know
- 15:53Speaker 1: what I mean? And then after making you know, then
- 15:56Speaker 1: how do I make it read like it's two minutes? Also,
- 15:59Speaker 1: because you know, to make it two minutes, you can edit,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and you can cut, and you can snip, and you
- 16:03Speaker 1: can do a bunch of things, But how do I
- 16:05Speaker 1: make it read like it's two minutes? Also, you know
- 16:08Speaker 1: learning that once you add and then and then and
- 16:11Speaker 1: then you're already you've lost You've you're already You're already
- 16:14Speaker 1: too far ahead, like just so many rules in this
- 16:18Speaker 1: in each episode will be two minutes long. Two minutes long. Uh,
- 16:24Speaker 1: each episode just two minutes long. And it's a it's
- 16:27Speaker 1: it's a you know, and it's do I have a part?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Or is it gonna be just absolutely it's absolutely you.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna hit up Justin Long also, but
- 16:36Speaker 1: I know, but I Justin Long is starting to get
- 16:38Speaker 1: a little too deep into a friendship with you, and
- 16:41Speaker 1: I'm not exactly loving it. And I I can show
- 16:45Speaker 1: you so many pictures of how these hoes ain't loyal
- 16:48Speaker 1: Joel and Daniel, I see you both laughing. But Zach
- 16:52Speaker 1: braf Is, these hoes ain't loyal. What the fuck are
- 16:57Speaker 1: you went and got the ultimate mit and went after
- 17:01Speaker 1: freaking Morgan Freeman. I got pictures of you and Morgan,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I got pictures in you. I got pictures of you
- 17:10Speaker 1: fucking Diddy, like, yeah, dude, this dude's got like a
- 17:13Speaker 1: bunch of those first of all those those men, don't
- 17:16Speaker 1: I don't want to hear this shit. This is it.
- 17:17Speaker 1: This is the this is how they this is how
- 17:19Speaker 1: it works, This is these are the people that he
- 17:21Speaker 1: tells you not to worry about. And when the breakup happens.
- 17:26Speaker 1: When the breakup happens, Morgan Freeman's gonna be all up
- 17:29Speaker 1: in my face, like stop calling them, Um, those men,
- 17:35Speaker 1: those horva doesn't mean anything to me next to you, baby. Um,
- 17:42Speaker 1: all right, let's get into this. This is a very
- 17:45Speaker 1: very very funny episode. Um. I don't even remember shooting
- 17:48Speaker 1: any of it, and um it's hut. I don't remember
- 18:17Speaker 1: any of it. Not one part of this episode. I don't.
- 18:21Speaker 1: This was like watching something a new Yes, and I
- 18:26Speaker 1: thought I was gonna remember it too because I remember
- 18:28Speaker 1: the title my Buddy's Booty. I thought because of your
- 18:32Speaker 1: um juicy ass, that it was referring to your booty.
- 18:38Speaker 1: That would have been nice. Yeah, but if that episode
- 18:40Speaker 1: I'd like to watch. By the way, there was this
- 18:42Speaker 1: meme of all the Olympic cyclers. Did you see that picture?
- 18:45Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's what you want to talk about.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Chunky asses, dude, All the Olympics cyclers have the juicy's asses,
- 18:52Speaker 1: And someone created a meme that says, damn, I need
- 18:54Speaker 1: to cycle. Speaking of cycling, I almost died on my
- 19:05Speaker 1: bike today biking in New York was always a double
- 19:08Speaker 1: black diamond sport. But I gotta tell you, post pandemic,
- 19:11Speaker 1: it is insanity. What's going on? Well, there are so
- 19:15Speaker 1: many more delivery men. I think what I assume what
- 19:17Speaker 1: happened is during the pandemic, the need for food delivery
- 19:21Speaker 1: guys surged, right, And they all ride electric bicycles. Now,
- 19:25Speaker 1: these are not normal electric bicycles. These are like essentially
- 19:28Speaker 1: fucking motor scooters, but they're electric bicycles. They fly, and
- 19:34Speaker 1: these dudes, I respect, they're hustle, they're going for the
- 19:37Speaker 1: get the cash, but they are insane and they're forget
- 19:42Speaker 1: any rules. The police of New York couldn't possibly police this.
- 19:45Speaker 1: So every which way on the street and they fly,
- 19:48Speaker 1: and then you got tourists on city bikes going the
- 19:51Speaker 1: wrong way and they're not nobody's wearing helmets. It's just
- 19:54Speaker 1: it's insanity. And it's like frogger on acid. But you die,
- 20:02Speaker 1: and I almost died today. I'm glad you did. No. No, Yeah,
- 20:08Speaker 1: I think I read that one pedestrian dies a day
- 20:10Speaker 1: in Manhattan. I don't know that's enough for me to stop. Joe, Well,
- 20:14Speaker 1: can you look that up. I don't know if that's
- 20:16Speaker 1: a fact I made up. But I heard that a
- 20:18Speaker 1: pedestrian a day. That is enough to stop me from
- 20:21Speaker 1: going outside right there. Well, it's very trust me. I'm good.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm a good bicycler. I've been riding in Manhattan for many, many,
- 20:28Speaker 1: many years. But I definitely notice that. Oh and they
- 20:32Speaker 1: also introduced this other insane thing. I can't believe the
- 20:36Speaker 1: fucking government let this through. But they also have these
- 20:39Speaker 1: full like scooters like JD's scooter, but it's electric and
- 20:43Speaker 1: you just has an app and you swipe your fucking
- 20:45Speaker 1: app and you start up the scooter. So people who
- 20:49Speaker 1: don't know what they're doing are driving those around the city.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Now it's fucking like Sasha scooter or like, yes, not
- 20:55Speaker 1: in but they're electric, but they look like Sasha, and
- 21:00Speaker 1: dudes are on the bike paths with him going the
- 21:02Speaker 1: wrong way. Insane, dude. Wow, it's so advanced by helmet
- 21:08Speaker 1: up and everything. But today you have to go you know,
- 21:12Speaker 1: you have lights on my ship too. Speaking of helmeting up,
- 21:16Speaker 1: helmeting up, Gary Busey's on the show, Gary Busey's back. Um,
- 21:21Speaker 1: this show is so this episode is a ridiculous direction
- 21:23Speaker 1: by Randall Winston was this Randall's first epist. I believe
- 21:26Speaker 1: this is his first episode. What a great job. And
- 21:28Speaker 1: he has a great little uh transition that happens later
- 21:33Speaker 1: on in the show with the sneakers and the hanging. Yeah,
- 21:37Speaker 1: we'll get to that. I'm sure we'll get to that.
- 21:38Speaker 1: But Randall Winston as well. You know he's been on
- 21:40Speaker 1: the show. He was our line producer. We told you
- 21:43Speaker 1: what that was about. That's mostly the guy who's looking
- 21:45Speaker 1: at the money and dealing with the exact money and budget.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Written by Mark Stegman, one of our very funny writers.
- 21:51Speaker 1: But this was Randall's first episode he directed, I believe,
- 21:53Speaker 1: or was it second. Jowell double checked out for me too.
- 21:56Speaker 1: But anyway, the episode starts, JD and Elliot are bonding
- 22:00Speaker 1: again and Jad's getting over breaking up with Julie and h.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Elliot apparently thinks she also thinks she looks like Gary
- 22:09Speaker 1: Busey because she covers her face with a Gary Busey picture.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I think she covers the face with Gary buy with
- 22:15Speaker 1: a Gary Busey picture, and you're like, oh, now it's
- 22:18Speaker 1: you and me, and she's like, what the fuck are
- 22:19Speaker 1: you talking about? It's Gary Busey. I don't think she
- 22:21Speaker 1: covers it trying to make it seem like it's her.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Hold on one second, Um, Joel, I'm looking at what
- 22:28Speaker 1: you said. Pedestrian deaths in the city have surged fifty
- 22:32Speaker 1: eight percent so far in twenty twenty one, so you
- 22:36Speaker 1: know I'm not fucking lying staying home now compared to
- 22:39Speaker 1: the same period in twenty twenty. Oh. But you're saying
- 22:42Speaker 1: the total death is went. What does that mean? Forty
- 22:45Speaker 1: one deaths from twenty six Oh so not quite, but
- 22:50Speaker 1: it's still a lot. Oh oh, but so forty one. Oh,
- 22:55Speaker 1: but it's halfway through the year, so that would that
- 22:57Speaker 1: would roughly be eighty. Okay, I was wrong, but we're
- 22:59Speaker 1: headed towards eighty deaths pedestrian deaths for twenty twenty one. Yes,
- 23:05Speaker 1: and this is Randall's second episode. Yes, that's what I'm
- 23:07Speaker 1: telling you. And this is Randall's second direct to your pet.
- 23:12Speaker 1: My figure that I once heard might be um New
- 23:15Speaker 1: York um city and meeting all five burrows. Anyway, Um,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I'm telling you see surged fifty eight percent, So you
- 23:26Speaker 1: get I'm not lying. It's fucking nuts out there. Be
- 23:30Speaker 1: careful when you're in New York. Look. Ye, I once
- 23:34Speaker 1: stepped into the street once and I had looked the
- 23:37Speaker 1: proper way because the streets are all one way, and
- 23:39Speaker 1: a biker yelled at me, goes, you gotta look both ways,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and he was going the wrong way, and I was like,
- 23:44Speaker 1: I had to bite my fists all right. So Elliott
- 23:49Speaker 1: um doesn't know how to pull pranks and she throws
- 23:54Speaker 1: into the into the shower, which is first of all
- 23:57Speaker 1: so many questions where did Elliott get this raccoon? But
- 24:03Speaker 1: kudos to the stunt man. I don't know which one
- 24:05Speaker 1: of the fellas it was, but he took a nice
- 24:07Speaker 1: fucking hit on that cabinet with that when under the
- 24:10Speaker 1: shower curtain. Not only that he'd been was still conscious
- 24:14Speaker 1: enough to push the flap down the shower curtain down
- 24:21Speaker 1: because the wind was blowing the shower curtain and it
- 24:24Speaker 1: looked like the dangle was about to be seen. Oh
- 24:27Speaker 1: it wouldn't have been my peep, it would have been his.
- 24:29Speaker 1: But that was a very impressive hit with with clearly
- 24:32Speaker 1: no vision, I mean he was he couldn't see. So
- 24:36Speaker 1: thank you, mister stuntman for making me look good. Well done.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I don't know which one it was so then this
- 24:42Speaker 1: this episode had so many wacky stunts in it. So
- 24:44Speaker 1: then I'm putting pulling Elliott on rollerblades with a water
- 24:49Speaker 1: ski rope behind my scooter. This is called scooter blading, right,
- 24:54Speaker 1: and the stunt woman, the stunt woman, I'm like, fucking
- 24:58Speaker 1: Bobby Brady the stunt woman, and who leaps over the
- 25:02Speaker 1: stretcher is an exact match for Sarah. I went back
- 25:05Speaker 1: frame by frame. It's obviously not Sarah because it's a
- 25:08Speaker 1: pretty major stunt, but you can't tell that it's not Sarah.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Didn't you notice that doll? It didn't look like Sarah
- 25:15Speaker 1: to me, But okay, really it's rare. Usually when you
- 25:19Speaker 1: have a stunt person, they'll you'll see later with with
- 25:22Speaker 1: with JD on rollerblades. When it's going to be a stunt,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you can tell because they start hiding their face, like
- 25:27Speaker 1: with their arm a little bit, or they're ducking their head.
- 25:30Speaker 1: But that woman does a giant rollerblade split jump and
- 25:35Speaker 1: she's showing her face and I was like, there's no
- 25:37Speaker 1: way that was Sarah. And I went back and I
- 25:40Speaker 1: kind of went I went frame by frame and you
- 25:41Speaker 1: can't you can't really tell. They found a good They
- 25:46Speaker 1: found a good one, Yeah, they did. Unless that is Sarah.
- 25:50Speaker 1: But I don't think that's Sarah. I don't think it's Sarah.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Is not Sarah is not quarded enough to risk that
- 25:58Speaker 1: she can dance. She's pretty athletic, she's just never been
- 26:02Speaker 1: I know. But if you look at the stunt team,
- 26:04Speaker 1: if you at first, I went back and I went, oh,
- 26:06Speaker 1: maybe she leaped over the camera and with no rollerblades on.
- 26:10Speaker 1: But no, it's a woman doing a split jump on rollerblades.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I don't think it's Sarah. I don't think it's We
- 26:15Speaker 1: could ask Sarah. No, I fucker, I'm just kidding. I
- 26:25Speaker 1: love that wacky Canadian. How about Cox falling straight on
- 26:28Speaker 1: his back? Um, it made me realize that Johnny C
- 26:31Speaker 1: doesn't do a ton of physical comedy in the show.
- 26:34Speaker 1: That wasn't his character. No, he does not, and I
- 26:36Speaker 1: do and I do believe Johnny C does have a
- 26:41Speaker 1: bad back. This is around the time that your back
- 26:43Speaker 1: started getting bad too, also, though, isn't it This is
- 26:47Speaker 1: around the time to Hernia. This is around the time
- 26:49Speaker 1: I don't do the time of the Hernia, but definitely
- 26:51Speaker 1: five years of running Indus Ship to make America laugh
- 26:55Speaker 1: started to take a toll on me, right, I remember,
- 26:58Speaker 1: I remember all of a sudden you being like, dude,
- 27:00Speaker 1: stop sucking around my back, My back, my back. Well yeah,
- 27:03Speaker 1: I mean I definitely I solved a bunch of issues
- 27:07Speaker 1: I started to have with my back, and then I
- 27:08Speaker 1: did have a hernia. I don't know if it was
- 27:10Speaker 1: around this time, but you know, I was not much
- 27:13Speaker 1: of an athlete and not much shape, but I really
- 27:17Speaker 1: took a love to physical comedy and was trying to
- 27:20Speaker 1: do as much of it as I could. And then
- 27:22Speaker 1: of course some of that caught up because if I
- 27:24Speaker 1: was in shape and stretching and doing it all right,
- 27:26Speaker 1: it probably would have been better. But I was doing
- 27:28Speaker 1: none of that. I was just trying to make people laugh,
- 27:31Speaker 1: right as you should. So he falls right on his back.
- 27:36Speaker 1: But by the way, not even a fantasy. I mean
- 27:37Speaker 1: that would really, I mean, you could really, really really
- 27:40Speaker 1: hurt yourself if Cox, if you did what Cox did
- 27:44Speaker 1: in the ICU. Just to prove a point, Yes, there
- 27:48Speaker 1: are a lot of moments in this show today. I
- 27:51Speaker 1: mean that we that we just watched where I was like, okay,
- 27:55Speaker 1: so this none of this is going to ever track
- 27:58Speaker 1: and it's all really happened. Yeah, but none of it
- 28:02Speaker 1: will ever track Vader thing one. How many piercings does
- 28:07Speaker 1: JD have? Now, well, he has all those piercings, and
- 28:10Speaker 1: they very quickly disappear, right one one doesn't very quickly disappear.
- 28:16Speaker 1: There's a call back at the end of the show.
- 28:18Speaker 1: All right, so JD, you're jumping ahead, but not by much.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Jad goes and tries to hit on JD and Elliot
- 28:25Speaker 1: are both horny and they both want booty calls. Yes,
- 28:29Speaker 1: JD has heard that the woman who does piercings at
- 28:32Speaker 1: the mall or yeah, wherever it is. But she's easy, easy,
- 28:37Speaker 1: so he tries to promiscuous. He tries to hit on her,
- 28:42Speaker 1: and I go, maybe later you can show me where
- 28:44Speaker 1: else you're pierced. And then I look down at her vagina,
- 28:47Speaker 1: which is just so preposterously inappropriate. And JD gets exactly
- 28:54Speaker 1: what's coming to him because she wrestles him to the
- 28:57Speaker 1: ground and pierces him all over his face and then
- 29:02Speaker 1: his penis yes, and um, and we learned that he's
- 29:07Speaker 1: got an emerald yes in his penis. I forgot what
- 29:11Speaker 1: that's called. What's that called? When you get a penis. Jewel,
- 29:15Speaker 1: Joel left the conversation. She's a specialists here, Prince alb
- 29:21Speaker 1: now Joel as a Prince Albert. Um just a piercing
- 29:25Speaker 1: or can it also be an an emerald? And and
- 29:28Speaker 1: where does it go? It goes to the tip of
- 29:30Speaker 1: the well piercing that is where it goes. Or you ladder,
- 29:36Speaker 1: which is where you're pierced up the shaft. Ye wait
- 29:43Speaker 1: a second, Jacob's ladder is multiple piercing up the sea.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Also what a thing to reference? Yea if you're if
- 29:52Speaker 1: you're a man, if you're a man listening to this,
- 29:54Speaker 1: you might be holding your penis right now because the
- 29:56Speaker 1: thought of it hurt uncontrollable. So the Prince Albert goes
- 30:02Speaker 1: through the tip the ure throw. Yeah, so I'm assuming
- 30:06Speaker 1: that's what Jad got um. And and it's an emerald.
- 30:09Speaker 1: It's a green emerald. So wait, So at the end
- 30:13Speaker 1: when the janitor has an emerald on the tip of
- 30:16Speaker 1: his he stole it when he broke into my home.
- 30:21Speaker 1: This episode, this episode is so fucked up, so Jad, sorry,
- 30:26Speaker 1: So we're jumping around, but cos in the janitor becomes
- 30:30Speaker 1: drinking buddies and after drinking one night, they break into
- 30:36Speaker 1: Jad's home. Yes, and the janitor reveals that he often
- 30:39Speaker 1: does this and he um likes to. He does it
- 30:43Speaker 1: a few times a week. He says, he likes to
- 30:45Speaker 1: move stuff around, turn off my alarm, and occasionally cut
- 30:49Speaker 1: my bangs. Yes. But what we also learn is that
- 30:53Speaker 1: in moving my bed to the parking lot, I'm apparently
- 30:57Speaker 1: a very very deep sleeper. Janitor removes the Emerald's jewel
- 31:02Speaker 1: from my Prince Albert piercing Yes, and mounds it on
- 31:05Speaker 1: his mop. Yes. Because this is some bad shit. Fucking dude,
- 31:20Speaker 1: I never put this together when we were making this show. No,
- 31:24Speaker 1: I didn't realize out of sequence. That's what we're learning
- 31:27Speaker 1: from watching this in sequence. How fucking bat shit Season
- 31:30Speaker 1: five is and I love it. Yeah, I'm here for it.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I'm here for season five, man, I want to I really,
- 31:37Speaker 1: I think I don't know what happens in season six
- 31:40Speaker 1: where the tone goes, But season five is so far.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It's my type of comedy where it's like, how dare they?
- 31:48Speaker 1: How dare they do that? Because now they have to
- 31:50Speaker 1: explain it. But then now you don't have to explain it.
- 31:53Speaker 1: You know what it is, dude, It's like Bill was.
- 31:55Speaker 1: It was shocking what Bill could get away with season
- 31:58Speaker 1: one through four with humor and then still circling round
- 32:01Speaker 1: to Heart. It was always like, Wow, how does he
- 32:03Speaker 1: do that? That's amazing. Now this motherfucker was like, let
- 32:06Speaker 1: me see if I could push it further, right, because
- 32:09Speaker 1: even at the end of this episode, which is bad shit, Yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 1: it ends with Heart with missus wilk and everyone gather
- 32:15Speaker 1: run her bed. Yeah, dude, he's masterful at it. Speak listen,
- 32:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna reveal something that I haven't and
- 32:24Speaker 1: I'm sure you guys have probably picked up on it.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Up until about a week ago. No, No, until up
- 32:39Speaker 1: until a week ago, I had never watched ted Lasso.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I knew that I was hiding it from Bill. Yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 1: I had never watched an episode of ted Lasso, And
- 32:47Speaker 1: every time Bill was on, I would be like, oh,
- 32:49Speaker 1: and ted Lasso is doing so well, and I was
- 32:52Speaker 1: sincerely good. I've watched all of them. Nice, dude, It's
- 33:01Speaker 1: one of the best shows I've ever watched in my life.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Man Like Will Good in all honesty, man Like, I'm
- 33:07Speaker 1: sitting there like and I'm in awe of one of
- 33:10Speaker 1: my really good friends, like I'm in awe, like I
- 33:13Speaker 1: can't believe it. Like part of me is like part
- 33:15Speaker 1: of me is like like I watched Scrubs and I'm like, yeah,
- 33:17Speaker 1: Scrubs is good and I was a part of it,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and it's changed my life and it's made me, you know,
- 33:21Speaker 1: a very very very very fortunate person and it's given
- 33:25Speaker 1: me a lot of great things. We're watching Ted Lasso.
- 33:28Speaker 1: I'm like, holy shit, dude, like it's just great storytelling
- 33:33Speaker 1: and I can't Like part of me's like part of
- 33:35Speaker 1: me's almost like I can't believe Bill did this. You
- 33:38Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like it's it's so fucking proud of,
- 33:40Speaker 1: Like I'm so proud of. Episode two is probably your
- 33:43Speaker 1: favorite episode though, in all honesty, in season one, out
- 33:46Speaker 1: of all of season one, episode two, truthfully is my
- 33:50Speaker 1: favorite episode. Believe it. Joel, come on, don't on my parade,
- 34:00Speaker 1: and b he has he has his sincere face on.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I know his sincere face. I'm still learning. I cannot.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I my my wife too. We're like we caught up,
- 34:16Speaker 1: and I'm pissed off that we caught up to where
- 34:19Speaker 1: it's at you, But that's what happens. I'm sure that
- 34:22Speaker 1: people listening feel that about Scrubs. It's like, uh, and
- 34:25Speaker 1: we feel it about shows we love when you when
- 34:27Speaker 1: when it's over, you're like, but but I but I
- 34:30Speaker 1: missed them. Yeah, you know, I want to, you want
- 34:32Speaker 1: to you want to hang out with those people. When
- 34:34Speaker 1: I felt that about last So when it ended, uh,
- 34:37Speaker 1: in the season one ended, I was like, but I
- 34:39Speaker 1: miss Roy. How great is Brett Goldstein? Brett is amazing,
- 34:46Speaker 1: amazing the kid who plays Jamie tart j Jamie Dude, man,
- 34:54Speaker 1: holy shit, like the whole cast, everybody, everybody, everybody's really
- 35:00Speaker 1: really good and they're all nominated every state. But they
- 35:03Speaker 1: should be they they they should be though, Yeah of course,
- 35:09Speaker 1: um yeah, man, it's so cool. I'm so happy to
- 35:12Speaker 1: have a tiny piece of it. I feel so lucky
- 35:15Speaker 1: to be amongst them. I'm just so impressed. I'm sincerely
- 35:20Speaker 1: so impressed. And I didn't, you know, I put it
- 35:23Speaker 1: off and I put it off, and I tried to
- 35:25Speaker 1: watch the first episode once and I just didn't get
- 35:28Speaker 1: the tone. But I had only watched like five minutes
- 35:30Speaker 1: of it. And then after the first episode was over,
- 35:34Speaker 1: Casey and I went through three or four in one night.
- 35:38Speaker 1: And then people would probably happen if you if you
- 35:41Speaker 1: recall is that you got through the first one and
- 35:43Speaker 1: you're like, I think I like it, and then you
- 35:44Speaker 1: watched episode two, Oh absolutely, and then the snowballs. Yeah yeah, sure, sure, sure,
- 35:53Speaker 1: that's exactly what happened. I already said episode two was
- 35:56Speaker 1: my favorite episode of season one. All right, I'm not
- 35:58Speaker 1: going to disagree with you. March and artistic and thought.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I just want to say, holy shit, wow, what a
- 36:06Speaker 1: great show one show two. Charlotte Lawrence posted pictures of
- 36:10Speaker 1: herself in this blue dress. I don't know, this is
- 36:13Speaker 1: all had scrubs related. She looks just like her mom. Dude,
- 36:17Speaker 1: holy cow, she looks like Christa. It's it's like if Christa,
- 36:22Speaker 1: it would if you would have rewinded back in time,
- 36:25Speaker 1: it would be Christa instead of instead of Charlotte. It's
- 36:30Speaker 1: it's really impressive, and you know, it's a shame that
- 36:33Speaker 1: nothing works out for that family. Okay, we are going
- 36:36Speaker 1: to quick break and we'll be right back, and back
- 36:48Speaker 1: we did. We talked about the rock Heart Abs and
- 36:50Speaker 1: Keys Dynamitariolas and I turn around and I reveal that
- 36:54Speaker 1: I've got scratches all down my back and the interns
- 36:57Speaker 1: say what what's that? And I go, those jays are
- 37:01Speaker 1: the panic scratches of the adolescent raccoon. And I love that.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I'd say raccoon, like, that's not how I would normally
- 37:12Speaker 1: pronounce raccoon, But you know what I have, it's funnier.
- 37:15Speaker 1: It's just funnier to say raccoon. I'd love to say
- 37:17Speaker 1: I have since adopted that way of saying raccoon, because
- 37:22Speaker 1: raccoon is way funny. Raccoon is just somehow way funnier
- 37:26Speaker 1: the adolescent the scratches of the of the panicked adolescent raccoon. Okay,
- 37:33Speaker 1: Now the janitor, for some reason, now owns an eighteen
- 37:38Speaker 1: for no reason, it's never explained, but the janitor has
- 37:42Speaker 1: purchased an eighteen van. Yes, and are too young to know.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Eighteen was an action show that I grew up loving,
- 37:50Speaker 1: and Donald it too, mister t Ba Baraka, and it
- 37:54Speaker 1: was funny because it was a great show. H This
- 37:57Speaker 1: this this underground team of mercies of mercenaries with Saw.
- 38:02Speaker 1: It's like bad Batch. Now it's the bad Batch pretty much. Okay,
- 38:06Speaker 1: I don't understand that. I know that's a Star Wars thing.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, but it's like a
- 38:11Speaker 1: team pretty much. Did do they build something at the
- 38:15Speaker 1: in the third act that saves the No, they don't
- 38:17Speaker 1: build anything in the third act, but they're on the
- 38:19Speaker 1: run from the law. They're this badass group of mercenaries
- 38:25Speaker 1: and they're helping out along. They're helping out people in
- 38:29Speaker 1: need along the way. Oh yeah, well that's the plot
- 38:31Speaker 1: of a team eight Steps without the animation, it's really anyway.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I loved it and it was funny because it was
- 38:37Speaker 1: meant for kids. But there was so much gun play.
- 38:40Speaker 1: They were always shooting it, but no one ever got shot.
- 38:42Speaker 1: It was one of the It was like in the
- 38:44Speaker 1: cartoon g I Joejo the plane explodes that everyone parachutes house. Yeah,
- 38:48Speaker 1: no one ever. There was so much gunfire in a Team,
- 38:52Speaker 1: but no one ever got hit. Yeah right, I love it.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Well one time one episode, face gets shot. They're on
- 38:58Speaker 1: a plane in Face gets probably like is Oh yeah,
- 39:00Speaker 1: we talked about this. How they used to drug be
- 39:02Speaker 1: a baracus mister T. Because mister T was afraid of flying.
- 39:05Speaker 1: They would drug him. Yeah, they got him every time.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Every time. I ain't getting on no plane, animal, you
- 39:13Speaker 1: ain't gonna trick me. This yeah, if you can drug him.
- 39:16Speaker 1: I don't know if you could do that today. I
- 39:17Speaker 1: don't think you're allowed to dose your friends. I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 39:22Speaker 1: you are. It's just not I don't think in a show.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I just wasn't a show. You Oh you don't, right,
- 39:27Speaker 1: got it? I understand I'm saying in twenty twenty one,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I think people would find objection to them dosing be
- 39:33Speaker 1: a baracus to knock him out. I don't think so.
- 39:36Speaker 1: I don't think so if they're going to like Guatemala
- 39:39Speaker 1: to save a village of Oh, you're saying, as long
- 39:42Speaker 1: as it's for a good cause, as long as you're
- 39:44Speaker 1: good cause, you can knock your friend out, all right,
- 39:49Speaker 1: Well by me team. By the way, it probably still
- 39:51Speaker 1: holds up if you have a young teenager, they might
- 39:54Speaker 1: still like it. I doubt it. I doubt I doubt it'
- 40:14Speaker 1: that night Rider were my favorites. Dunn, Dunn, Dunn, Dunna.
- 40:30Speaker 1: You remember Hasslehoff. You know he was my hero, dude,
- 40:37Speaker 1: A big guy. By the way, he was really Hasslehoff
- 40:41Speaker 1: out of nowhere. I mean a lot of celebrity people
- 40:44Speaker 1: reached out to Amanda, but David Hasselhof randomly was one
- 40:46Speaker 1: of them. He was like such a sweetheart, like let
- 40:49Speaker 1: me know if there's ever anything I can do for you,
- 40:51Speaker 1: and he was just you know, it's funny because he
- 40:54Speaker 1: was a childhood hero of mine. A lot of younger
- 40:56Speaker 1: people know him from Baywatch, which was sillier, but when
- 40:59Speaker 1: we were kids. He is the star of a very
- 41:00Speaker 1: popular show called night Rider, and so it's just kind
- 41:04Speaker 1: of cool that of all the celebrities, many of whom
- 41:06Speaker 1: were lovely to Amanda, he was happening to be one
- 41:08Speaker 1: of them. You know, there were no guns. There were
- 41:12Speaker 1: no guns on night Rider either, like Michael Knight never
- 41:15Speaker 1: carried a gun. No, he just fought and had a
- 41:17Speaker 1: magical car. Yeah. Umu, there's a fun famous quote in
- 41:23Speaker 1: this episode. Or me my often see it's like you're
- 41:26Speaker 1: begging me to hate. You say that this is official.
- 41:33Speaker 1: But Jordan, tell me if I'm saying it right, culs
- 41:39Speaker 1: doctor Cox. Yeah, he doesn't seem to have any jealous
- 41:41Speaker 1: bone in his body car because she's always in front
- 41:44Speaker 1: of him a cuckled I think that's right, Joelle. You're
- 41:48Speaker 1: our expert. Thing. So if if that's when the man
- 41:52Speaker 1: watches him himself be cheated on. Yeah, essentially pretty much.
- 41:58Speaker 1: But the man knows because it's not cheating. The man
- 42:01Speaker 1: knows about it. The man well, in a COUPLD situation,
- 42:04Speaker 1: the man is turned on by watching, not necessarily turned on.
- 42:07Speaker 1: The man just knows that. I have to like in
- 42:11Speaker 1: some of the videos that I watch, some of them
- 42:13Speaker 1: are like, I can't believe my wife is doing you know,
- 42:16Speaker 1: but he's acting. I hate to break it to you,
- 42:19Speaker 1: but that that that adult performer is acting. I believe.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Oh no, but Joel is part of the So there's
- 42:27Speaker 1: no scenario where a woman could force like a man
- 42:30Speaker 1: watch that situation happen. Well, then their relationship might be over.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I think the particular sexual uh kink is that the
- 42:39Speaker 1: term Joel yeah nice is that you um? Is that
- 42:43Speaker 1: the that the man or woman depending on the partner,
- 42:47Speaker 1: is turned on by the act, even if they in
- 42:51Speaker 1: some in some cases they are humiliated on purpose. He
- 42:55Speaker 1: has things like your peep isn't as big as his,
- 42:58Speaker 1: You sucks in the in the videos that I've seen
- 43:02Speaker 1: when doing research about research, that's that's what. That's that's what.
- 43:07Speaker 1: That's pretty much. I can't think of something I would
- 43:11Speaker 1: be that is less my thing. Hey, kudos to you
- 43:13Speaker 1: if you found your thing. But I do not want
- 43:16Speaker 1: my woman cheating on me and making fun of my
- 43:20Speaker 1: penis side. But hey, to eat their own truly, this
- 43:26Speaker 1: dick is so much better than yours. Look how it curves.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Yours doesn't curve. Oh my word, look at that glorious foreskin.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Yours is gone. Jud Oh no, oh no oh? Who
- 43:47Speaker 1: are you dating? Dude? Who are you getting into? Don't?
- 43:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I would, I would not. I'm into being
- 44:00Speaker 1: a cuckold. I've decided. But but now, Johnny, excuse me,
- 44:04Speaker 1: doctor Coxs. I don't know that he's into being a cuckold.
- 44:07Speaker 1: He just looks the other way. He doesn't seem to care.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Jordan is flirting with a with a young, very handsome
- 44:13Speaker 1: man at the bar, and she says they have to
- 44:15Speaker 1: go because his dorm is going to close and she
- 44:18Speaker 1: needs to be dropped off. Yes, so did she pick
- 44:21Speaker 1: him up at the bar? Did she bring them out
- 44:23Speaker 1: on their date? I don't know. I don't she met
- 44:25Speaker 1: him at the bar, but he needs to get home
- 44:27Speaker 1: because for summer, because he didn't recognize he doesn't know
- 44:30Speaker 1: who who doesn't know who Cox is? When he's like
- 44:32Speaker 1: Why is that man staring at me? And fight him, right, Jordan?
- 44:36Speaker 1: But Jordan's yeah, Jordan wants them to fight. Yes, for
- 44:40Speaker 1: some reason, this boy's dorm closes at midnight. Yes, a
- 44:45Speaker 1: bit of a plothole. Well, I mean that just makes
- 44:47Speaker 1: he's an undergrad, doesn't it. I mean, like, well, nobody
- 44:51Speaker 1: lives in the dorm after a sophomore season, do they?
- 44:53Speaker 1: Or do you still live in the dorm? You're seeing
- 44:54Speaker 1: you you can live in the dorm any year. But
- 44:56Speaker 1: but I never heard of a dorm that locks its
- 44:58Speaker 1: doors at midnight. Maybe a religion, a school or something.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Maybe he maybe he, you know, it's a better part
- 45:03Speaker 1: of the story if he's in like religious school, religious
- 45:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, he's in the ministry. He's gonna becoming
- 45:11Speaker 1: the priest um. So we're clear on that. So Cox
- 45:17Speaker 1: is cockled a lot, cockled a lot. I guess Joel
- 45:21Speaker 1: is that the correct thing. He's not, doesn't. He just
- 45:25Speaker 1: ignores it. He's not into it. It seems to me
- 45:28Speaker 1: like Jordan never actually cheats on. I feel like Jordan
- 45:30Speaker 1: is just a giant floyer and Cox has just come
- 45:32Speaker 1: to terms of like my wife needs to flair in
- 45:34Speaker 1: order to feel like sexy and empowered. So whatever she's
- 45:37Speaker 1: doing over there fine by me. I don't know. Actually
- 45:40Speaker 1: I will say this, she's hot as she's hot as ball,
- 45:43Speaker 1: So I mean I would be a little pissed off.
- 45:46Speaker 1: I'd be like, I don't know, what did Jordan do
- 45:49Speaker 1: to make him hate her so much? I think he
- 45:52Speaker 1: just not well. I think he they have a sex life,
- 45:56Speaker 1: we know that's very active. I think he just lets
- 45:59Speaker 1: her flir and ignores it and knows that she's not
- 46:02Speaker 1: going to take action on it, which is which I'm
- 46:05Speaker 1: sure some men and women do too. But that's not
- 46:08Speaker 1: for me either. No, that's called cuckled, light diet, cuckled, diet,
- 46:12Speaker 1: cuckled diet cock soon cut zero zero zero picking of cuckolds.
- 46:28Speaker 1: What's up with our cuckled uh uh two that we're
- 46:32Speaker 1: on the show right with? I do not have an
- 46:36Speaker 1: update for them yet, but I can tap ask tell
- 46:41Speaker 1: him we want them to come back on. We just
- 46:43Speaker 1: want to know how it's going, you know. I want
- 46:47Speaker 1: to know. Even if he hasn't had his turn um
- 46:51Speaker 1: hooking up with another woman, I still kind of want
- 46:54Speaker 1: to have them back on. Yeah, I just want to
- 46:56Speaker 1: know more. I think about them, and I want to
- 46:59Speaker 1: just I just feel like they could be good recurring guests,
- 47:02Speaker 1: like once a season we just see what's going on
- 47:05Speaker 1: in their lives. And this couple guy season, we have
- 47:13Speaker 1: Shay on once and we have this wild um okay,
- 47:22Speaker 1: so jd um okay, let's talk about the Alvino radiologist.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Did you not get this? So Carla and Elliott want
- 47:36Speaker 1: the JIM to have more equipment for females, for women, Yes,
- 47:42Speaker 1: right now. I didn't realize that JIM equipment is when
- 47:46Speaker 1: did JIM equipment become? Well, I think what I what
- 47:49Speaker 1: I inferred was that it was all free weights, and
- 47:53Speaker 1: women tend stereotypically to appreciate equipment that has the weights,
- 47:58Speaker 1: you know, built into it, kind of just the way. Um,
- 48:02Speaker 1: the example they show at the end is they've got
- 48:04Speaker 1: what's this thing called the political right. Um. I never
- 48:09Speaker 1: thought of it as as as a as a male
- 48:11Speaker 1: female thing either, but but but I think what they're
- 48:14Speaker 1: setting up is that it's just like it's all free
- 48:16Speaker 1: weights and and dumbells, I mean and dumbbells and bars
- 48:19Speaker 1: and stuff, not stuff that women stereotypically use. Right, And
- 48:25Speaker 1: so uh Turk comes up with the plan because the
- 48:29Speaker 1: albino in radiology is named Jim, and Turk walks into
- 48:37Speaker 1: the office and says, you know that the albino and
- 48:40Speaker 1: radiology Jim wants new equipment. Now this is all to
- 48:45Speaker 1: fool Carla, because Cox has had an intervention with Turk
- 48:48Speaker 1: and says, are you an idiot? This is the only
- 48:50Speaker 1: place that we men can have do ourselves, which is
- 48:54Speaker 1: kind of which doesn't really make any sense because I guess,
- 48:56Speaker 1: I guess if there was an only freeweight Jim, maybe
- 48:59Speaker 1: maybe it wouldn't have minute. But Cox says, don't you
- 49:01Speaker 1: dare let ruin the gym only zone, And Turk listens
- 49:08Speaker 1: to Cox and uses Jim from radiology to trick Kelso
- 49:15Speaker 1: into saying, you tell uh what does he say? Uh,
- 49:21Speaker 1: there'll be no money for that. You tell you there'll
- 49:25Speaker 1: be no new equipment for that gym, right, something like that?
- 49:30Speaker 1: Something like that. It's like a threes company misunderstanding the
- 49:33Speaker 1: whole whole premise. This built on a misunderstanding when someone
- 49:36Speaker 1: overhears something, you know, right, yeah, And so Turk feels
- 49:42Speaker 1: like he's out of the way. So I didn't know
- 49:44Speaker 1: that there was one. There's now an albino in radiology.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I didn't never see him. We never see him. But okay,
- 49:51Speaker 1: so how about this caveman booty call fantasy had me laughing.
- 49:56Speaker 1: I think that's one of the funniest shits ever because
- 49:58Speaker 1: I remember shooting this and we wouldn't get through it.
- 50:00Speaker 1: We were laughing so hard. This woman and I am Bill.
- 50:04Speaker 1: I just remember because what's so funny is that she's
- 50:07Speaker 1: full cave woman speak and I'm modern day yes, but
- 50:11Speaker 1: I'm like, look, I have a lot going on. Hey,
- 50:15Speaker 1: he's trying to sneak out of the cave. I doesn't
- 50:18Speaker 1: even remember her name. Really, Hey, hey you, I have
- 50:22Speaker 1: a lot going on. My brother ate my foot. But
- 50:27Speaker 1: there's like three things that were going on. A bird,
- 50:30Speaker 1: a bird captured sister, my sister, and she goes hungry. Yeah,
- 50:38Speaker 1: I think I gotta go. Oh she goes cronk Where
- 50:43Speaker 1: you go now? And I'm like, hey, hey you. If
- 50:59Speaker 1: anybody ever says hey you to you, it's because they
- 51:02Speaker 1: forgot your name. Yeah, that's what that means, Hey you you.
- 51:09Speaker 1: And then I was like, oh my god, it's you.
- 51:12Speaker 1: And I was like you And then what about when
- 51:15Speaker 1: you do the awkward like your partner comes in and
- 51:17Speaker 1: you're like, honey, have you guys mat right? Do you
- 51:22Speaker 1: do you too know each other? Do you go this
- 51:25Speaker 1: is this is my wife Casey and then leave it
- 51:27Speaker 1: at that, or this is my wife and then Casey goes, hi,
- 51:31Speaker 1: I'm Casey. Casey smart when we we we she hit
- 51:35Speaker 1: me to it. She was like, listen, if ever you
- 51:37Speaker 1: don't know anybody's name, just be like, this is my wife.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Don't say my name. Just say this is my wife
- 51:43Speaker 1: and introduce me. I'll get the name out of it.
- 51:45Speaker 1: That's good. That's a teamwork that's called yeah, you know what.
- 51:50Speaker 1: This is where it backfires when Casey will go hey,
- 51:53Speaker 1: I'm Casey and the person will go hey, nice to
- 51:55Speaker 1: meet you. Oh yeah. The worst way I used my
- 52:00Speaker 1: name technique that I taught our listeners for remembering names.
- 52:04Speaker 1: The other day, there's a parking garage attendant who's very
- 52:07Speaker 1: nice to me, and I wanted to remember his name,
- 52:09Speaker 1: and his name was Wilson. So I pictured that volleyball
- 52:15Speaker 1: with the red handprint on it driving my car up.
- 52:19Speaker 1: I just pictured the volleyball in the driver's seat somehow
- 52:23Speaker 1: driving the car up. And I will never forget that
- 52:28Speaker 1: man's name, it's Wilson. Hey Wilson. And I told my
- 52:31Speaker 1: friend the story and he's like, that's great. Even I'm
- 52:33Speaker 1: going to remember his name now. Yeah. I say that
- 52:37Speaker 1: all the time. There are people that are like that
- 52:38Speaker 1: are like, hi, my name is Casey. I'll be like,
- 52:40Speaker 1: I'll never forget your name. My wife's name is Casey.
- 52:43Speaker 1: How could I ever forget it? And I'll be like, hey,
- 52:46Speaker 1: you Bobby Forrester our dolly grip. Yes, is La one
- 52:53Speaker 1: of the Janitor's henchman. Yes, his father who recently just
- 52:57Speaker 1: passed away, Robert Farister. Bobby was an amazing dolly group.
- 53:01Speaker 1: The dolly group, for those you don't know, is a
- 53:03Speaker 1: very tough position because the camera is mounted on this
- 53:07Speaker 1: piece of gear that you can make the camera move.
- 53:09Speaker 1: It's sometimes it's on tracks, sometimes it's just rubber wheels
- 53:12Speaker 1: on the ground. But you're you have to hit very
- 53:14Speaker 1: specific marks. And what makes it doubly hard is that
- 53:18Speaker 1: you also have a has a silent hydraulic arm that
- 53:22Speaker 1: raises it and lowers, and so the person man or
- 53:25Speaker 1: woman is not only moving the physical Dolly, but simultaneously
- 53:30Speaker 1: moving the hydraulic arm up and down. It's a real
- 53:33Speaker 1: art form to it, and a lot of people are
- 53:35Speaker 1: not good at it. And when you have a great
- 53:38Speaker 1: dolly group, it makes such a difference. And Bobby was
- 53:40Speaker 1: an incredible dollar group. You never had to ever go
- 53:43Speaker 1: again because the dolly wasn't somehow in the right position
- 53:46Speaker 1: at the right time. It's yeah, it's really interesting to
- 53:49Speaker 1: watch a camera team when they're when they've worked together
- 53:53Speaker 1: for a really long time, or when they have chemistry.
- 53:55Speaker 1: It's really cool to watch because it's you know, a
- 53:58Speaker 1: lot of people don't know this, but there's like or
- 54:00Speaker 1: people behind the camera working one camera. Yeah, there's the
- 54:03Speaker 1: dolly grip, there's the there's the focus puller, there's the
- 54:07Speaker 1: camera operator, and then there's the person who does the
- 54:12Speaker 1: mark marking and h the slate the slate, yeah, slate slating.
- 54:17Speaker 1: And you know, when a team is really good, it's it.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Things move really fast and work is easy. When the
- 54:27Speaker 1: team is really bad, though, it definitely suffers. You. You know,
- 54:31Speaker 1: these are positions that take a lot of practice. Like
- 54:33Speaker 1: focus pulling is not a simple thing because you can
- 54:36Speaker 1: you can have you know, the lens can be said
- 54:40Speaker 1: at a at a certain f stop where the focus
- 54:43Speaker 1: is very very shallow, and you can have someone running
- 54:46Speaker 1: towards you and you have to magically not magically, with
- 54:49Speaker 1: a lot of skill, keep up with them and keep
- 54:51Speaker 1: them in focus. And it sucks because sometimes you'll be like,
- 54:56Speaker 1: you'll have a great take with an actor, but the
- 54:58Speaker 1: focus uh is off in a moment and he got like, oh,
- 55:01Speaker 1: I gotta go again. That didn't work as a focus.
- 55:03Speaker 1: So it is definitely a skill that is so important. Um.
- 55:08Speaker 1: That's position is called the first assistant camera operator. So
- 55:12Speaker 1: now when you now when you see them in the credits,
- 55:15Speaker 1: you'll know what that position does. And now you know
- 55:16Speaker 1: what the Dolly group does. Anyway, So in this episode, uh,
- 55:20Speaker 1: the guy one of the fellas that's in the Janitor's
- 55:23Speaker 1: posse uh, and I think he I think he recurs
- 55:27Speaker 1: as one Janitor's posse members. Yes, but hears a line
- 55:32Speaker 1: in this one. He says something like good one or
- 55:35Speaker 1: something like that. Right, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't.
- 55:38Speaker 1: I didn't pick up on it. When the janitor dis
- 55:40Speaker 1: is Cox, you know he's friends with the doctor. Right,
- 55:45Speaker 1: that's so high school. That whole relationship was so high school.
- 55:48Speaker 1: But we could be friends at the bar. So high
- 55:51Speaker 1: school Gray's Anatomy gets referenced dis Gray's Anatomy. Well, I'm
- 55:55Speaker 1: imagining that Gray's Anatomy was probably a new hospital show
- 55:59Speaker 1: killing it in the rating, and we were jealous or something,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and so we said that they bid off of us.
- 56:04Speaker 1: We go Gray's Anatomy. It's like they've been watching our
- 56:07Speaker 1: lives and putting it on TV. So Elliott bangs Keith. Yeah,
- 56:13Speaker 1: after you guys said you were going to just get
- 56:15Speaker 1: rid of you know, I thought I was hoping, and
- 56:17Speaker 1: I knew this was coming, but I was hoping that
- 56:19Speaker 1: Elliott and j D because they're having so much fun together.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Like the way the episode is trending for those who've
- 56:27Speaker 1: never seen the show before, it's trending that the booty
- 56:30Speaker 1: call will be between Elliott and j I always like
- 56:33Speaker 1: it when they hook up, but not this episode. This episode,
- 56:36Speaker 1: she banks Keith and Keith so handsome and he's ripped.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Travis is ripped. I mean that Travish plays Keith is
- 56:42Speaker 1: just look at his abs. He I mean, can you
- 56:44Speaker 1: imagine that this is your living with your ex girlfriend?
- 56:46Speaker 1: And she fine, you guys both discussed you're gonna have
- 56:49Speaker 1: booty calls. She brings a booty home. It looks like
- 56:51Speaker 1: a ken doll like with comes out of the shower
- 56:55Speaker 1: all moist, wearing my my, my robe, this cute little
- 57:02Speaker 1: robe too. I wish I had that robe. I'm so funny.
- 57:04Speaker 1: It's like a little pink robe. And I'm like, why
- 57:06Speaker 1: are you wearing my robe? Why is he wearing my robe?
- 57:08Speaker 1: And he's wearing my robe? By the way, Jad rocking
- 57:11Speaker 1: the New Jersey T shirt to represent We don't know
- 57:15Speaker 1: where Jad's from, but um, someone magical involved in this
- 57:19Speaker 1: production is from New Jersey. Who kidding? All right, how
- 57:28Speaker 1: about this? All these condoms? How many times did these
- 57:30Speaker 1: guys fucked? There's like a hundred condoms on the table. Yes,
- 57:34Speaker 1: he has a very strong libido. Reminds me of a
- 57:36Speaker 1: young Donald Phashon. I know, but like this, this was
- 57:40Speaker 1: like they could have gotten the joke across with like
- 57:42Speaker 1: six I think, I think up like twenty. No, you
- 57:44Speaker 1: pick up hand two handfuls and then this is the
- 57:46Speaker 1: best part. This is the best part of the whole
- 57:49Speaker 1: episode is that I read the label like a eltoro grande.
- 57:53Speaker 1: I'm not familiar with this bun. So he learned that,
- 58:02Speaker 1: in addition to being so handsome, Keith also has a
- 58:06Speaker 1: giant el too grande. Yeah, we we learned. We're almost done,
- 58:12Speaker 1: but we learned that the janitor cells prosthetic feet to
- 58:17Speaker 1: college kids. He thinks that they smoke something out of them.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Oh no, And then you see Bobby Forrester our Dolly
- 58:28Speaker 1: Grip carrying a box of stolen prosthetics. But I mean,
- 58:36Speaker 1: what about the whole thing with Doug and the corpse
- 58:39Speaker 1: I didn't bring. I'm trying prank Keith by by guys.
- 58:43Speaker 1: JD steals a corpse from a corpse from the morgue
- 58:47Speaker 1: to prank Keith to murder. Doug tracks it all the
- 58:51Speaker 1: way to back to the bed, but forgets his gurney
- 58:54Speaker 1: in the morgue. Yes, and rather than go get a gurney,
- 58:59Speaker 1: he's going to give the corpse a piggyback. Nuts. This
- 59:08Speaker 1: episode is fucking nuts. And then he's got the corpse
- 59:12Speaker 1: in the fucking elevator. Yeah, they should have, Randall, you
- 59:15Speaker 1: should have kept the fuck out you. I bet you.
- 59:22Speaker 1: The studio was like, no, you gotta put the corpse now.
- 59:24Speaker 1: I don't know, Randall, that would be fucking so hilarious
- 59:27Speaker 1: if Keith is standing there with a corpse my one
- 59:33Speaker 1: My one note is that Randall really fucked up in that.
- 59:36Speaker 1: When it ends in the elevator, Doug should have been
- 59:39Speaker 1: standing in there with the corpse instead of in the
- 59:41Speaker 1: body bag. Oh my gosh, why don't we you get
- 59:45Speaker 1: threatened by all these nurses. Why they're all gonna throw
- 59:48Speaker 1: staplers at you because they find out what you did
- 59:50Speaker 1: with the gym. Why are all these nurses holding staplers.
- 59:52Speaker 1: I don't understand. I think they were prepared. They were
- 59:55Speaker 1: ready for it because the pins came first, and then
- 59:57Speaker 1: next was the staplers. She was like, if he's dumbing
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: to continue saying it, I want you guys to pack
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: him with everyone, go grab a stapler, is what Carlo said.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: She's like, you, there's someone the fourth floor, there's someone
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: the first floor. Just make sure you get yourself a
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: stapler for this moment, this moment, now Donald not in
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: a fantasy. Elliott turns into Darth Vader and lifts me
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: by the neck. Yeah. It chokes you out, chokes you
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: out at the end of it. Yes, so she is
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: very very very strong. Yes. When you cross Elliott, yeah,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: your feet are dangling, and you see my feet dangling. Yeah,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: dangling like two of those you know how they make
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: key chains and they put shoes on the key chains, Right,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: that's the transition. That's the transition dangling like that sounds
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: like Randall went to transition school. This episode is really about,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: you know, about relationships, like if you were to reek,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: if we were to do a recap on this episode,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: it really is about I think. I think it truly
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: all has to do with rules. I think it the
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: rules between Cox and and and and the janitor at
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the bar being front at the bar, not at the
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: hospital is that's that's where it is. We can't be
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: associated with each other because we wouldn't be associated with
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: each other normally, just because we had a great conversation
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: at the bar. Let's keep the relationship there. But they
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: bonded by removing the emeralds from my Prince Albert. Well,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: they realize that they have a lot in common at work.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: You're one of their you're one of the people that
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: irks them, or James one of the people things that
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Cox helps the janitor remove. Absolutely, I don't. I don't
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: think they must have done it together. Absolutely, I don't think.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I think because they're doctor, because he's a doctor. I
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: don't think he has a problem touch another man's penis.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I'm sure he's done it several times before, right, But
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: it is weird to not only steal a man from
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: his home in his bed and move said bed to
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the parking lot, and then, as the piece to resistance,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: remove the man's Prince Albert piercing and allow your colleague
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: to mount the emeralds on a broom. Yes, by the way,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: we learned that Elliott is into p play. What's that called, Joel?
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: This is out of my territory. Google? Um, can you
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: google with this my work computer? Exact? Let me no, no, no, no,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: no no, this is for work, Joel. I'm sorry that
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you work on an rated podcast r T to like
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I look like people, And I'm really also sorry. All right, well,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I just want to know what the correct term for
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: urine play is. I don't want to offend anyone who
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: loves Isn't it called a golden shower? That's that's a
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: particular act, that's when you get peed on. But we
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: learned that Elliott is into what's it called, Joel? Who
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: lets you know what you know? What you know what people?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: You know? What you know? What you know what you
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: know what people who were into p play called their
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: club what you're a nation came over the thank you?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Um all right, well elliotts into p play. She says
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: it's only because of jellyfish, a jellyfish incident. Yeah, but
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: we all know, but we all know. All right. On
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: that note, we're gonna take a break and we come back,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: Joel as I'm sure programmed an exciting guest for us.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: We'll be right back after these words. And we're bad,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: and we're bad, Okay, we are not as much as
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: she loves me. That's true because she has nine of
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: your babies. Listen, I saw what was it? She posted
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: your your little girl dancing. She's got moves, she got
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: a little she's a kid, you know, she's she likes
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: to sing and dance. No, but I mean she seems
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: like she's got dance. Heal, you got her in dance class?
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: She no, no, no, but she should be in dance class.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: She wants to be in dance class, that's for sure. Oh.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I know we were talking about these that I think
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Casey said she's a little bit young for like hip
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: hop class, right, yeah, like you gotta be a little
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: bit older. She's only six. Yeah, but she's got talent,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: she's got moves, likes to dance. All right, let's bring
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: in the guests there, Joel and Danel. We got all,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: you know, like a maybe tis so come on, Joe,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: let's give it up for Alex coh God, Alex, this
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: is not a dream. It's real. It's happened. This screw
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: guys with all due spect. This is one hundreds that
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: a dream. Well if we can't you, we would. I wish.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: By the way, you're wearing the new shirt, which I
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: really really really appreciate. That's a dope shirt. It is
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: a dope shirt. I got a lot of comments. I
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: know then all the infans when I'm walking around the
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: hood with my kids. Oh yeah, people do people say
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: nice shirt. Nice Yeah, there's scrumbsman or else. They get
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: it completely wrong and they're like, oh, that's that like
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: show with the blow. I was like, that's not even close.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Well yeah, but I call this the limited edition shirt
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: because there's no Ted On. Here is no Ted, no Jordan,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Jordan or Todd without the Yeah. Yeah, there's just so
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: if you want the shirt that Alex is rocking, we
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: have merch for sale. That's what podcasts do. They merch.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: You go to Cottonbureau dot com and look up fake
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: doctor's real friends. It looks very good on you, my friend.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: And I'm not just saying this because thank you. I'm
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: a little bit of a COVID fatty too, so i've
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: you know, it's a lot of pounds and it still
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: fits in there pretty well. I think. I think you
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: look great. I love thank you. Look you look great.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Where are you calling from? Because wherever you are right now,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the ambiance is own. Yes, you're well lit. Thank you.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I try. I'm in Bethesda, Maryland, in my house in Bethesda, Maryland,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: which is a Maryland guest Joel, you can say DC
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: really yeah, we might grew up in DC, and my
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: wife and I were here when you guys started your
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: show back in the thousands, and we had a three
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: hundred and fifty square foot apartment that costs like a
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: million dollars when it still does. And we lived together
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: and we got married in that apartment and when little
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Magnavox TV across the side, and we would watch Scrubs
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: all the time and all the DVDs whenever they would
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: come out, you know, after the season was over because
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: there's no rerun. We would just wait and wait and wait,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: and finally the DVD would come out and we would
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: be able to watch them like NonStop. It was great.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Thank you so much for wait. So you wouldn't watch
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: it on series, you're just waiting for the you know,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: we would watch it all in series. We would wait
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: like every Thursday or whenever it was out, and you know,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: on our little TV because that's as big as we
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: could afford back then. And I'm like your guy's age,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: so I'm like forty. I'm about turning forty five, so
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I'm similar to your guy's age. Oh so you when
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: you listen back to this episode, you're gonna get all
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: of our night Rider and A Team references that, Oh
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: you might lose that quiz if I'm involved so much
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: of a quiz. We were just talking about how much
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: we loved both of those shows. They were that's we
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: were the targets as young boys. We were the target
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: demo for those two shows. Whoever could make the best
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: night Rider sound, you know, you were like that, Michael
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: and then the A Team. I mean, nobody ever died
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: in that show, but there were so many bullets spent.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: We just talked about that. It would be magazine after
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: and the bad Guy and they and the bad guys
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: always had better guns than the two, but they had
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: the freaking the gun with in the back of the van.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: My favorite part was when they were they would always
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: towards the end um to solve whatever problem was going
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: on in the town, they would have to construct something,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: and that the theme song would kick in and they
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: would build something, and they never you never, they never
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: showed you what they were building because it was meant
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: to be a surprise. How they used. There was always
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: a wire in the sand that you wash, yeah, and
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: there was always some type of thing that knocked people
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: out of something before they blew it up. Oh yeah, absolutely.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: They would have to be a tree to knock out
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the people out of the van, and then the van
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: would go flipping. And it's kind of like that classic
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Western trope of yes, we're gonna get the town together,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: and they're not. They're not. They're not they're not warriors
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: or anything, but we're going to enlist all of them.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: And there you see them prepping and sawing and and
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: then but it's mystery. We don't know what they're doing
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: no Spirit. Yes, they did it every episode though, and
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: every time I'm like, sorry, I mean, how do you
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: make it fresh? I just what was? What was? And
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: then you know what, they never still alive? Joel, can
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you please get mister T on the show. That's all
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I want from certainly, I know what they never talked
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: about after when the A team was over, the casualties
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: of the people that died in those towns, you know
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: what I mean, Like because you know what I mean,
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: like no, no, but like, but if you look at
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: any other movie, they don't talk about the people that
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: died in trying to save rock Ridge, in fucking Uh,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: in that Blazing Saddles, they don't talk about all of
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: those people that people died. Trying to say. My father
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: used to say that, you know, because he was not
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: a fan of action movies and stuff if you liked
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: straight dramas and comedies. But he'd be like, what about
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: all their families? Right? You know, and like a like
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: a like a you know, stereotypic action movie where people
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: are just dying left and right. He's like, oh, why
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: why is no one going back to help? The dad
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: was a good dude. I remember the you guys. So, Donald,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: you said something a while ago about how you were
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: inspired by the Transformers movie become like a stop animator.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: That movie was the first time I heard a curse word,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: and it was this kick butt. The dinobot said I'm
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: gonna kick but and I'm like, no, there's actually another
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: curse in that movie where Spike and uh no, uh
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: it's I guess it's Spike and Bumblebee. They try to
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: blow up this is landing an escape and uh and
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Spike says to Bumblebee, oh shit, what are we gonna
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: do now? This was in Transformers the movie, and I
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: remember being a kid being like, holy cow, Spike just
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: said shit, yeah that's yeah. Oh my god. I might
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: have impressed that memory. Can't believe that in a Transformers
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: animated movie someone said shit, they would. Well, they also
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: killed Optimist Prime in this movie they killed everybody family.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: What about Optimists Primes? All right, let's get into it. Alex.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: You got a question. Yes, actually, Alex has a job
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: as story that it's it's short and we have pictures
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: and you must see it. Yeah, forget questions. Going to
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: So in two thousand and seven, I was a young
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I'm an architect and I designed restaurants and hotels and
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: stuff like that. Um, good job on your restaurant New
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: York City, by the way, ZAC. And so I was
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: asked to go to a seminar in LA and I said, yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: that sounds great, And I happened to stay in West Hollywood.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: And this is two thousand and seven when Google Maps,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I think it just came out. So I had to
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: figure out. At some point, I was like, I must
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: be near the scrub set, like it's got to be
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: around here somewhere. So there's really no Google, there's no
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: like Uber to take me there. So I figured it
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: out based on my architecture of skills by like searching
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: the map and figuring out this building footprint must be
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the one. And so I was like, you know, what's
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: screw it. I have a half day off. I got
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: a rental car from Enterprise, not from Uber, and I
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: drove through whatever mountain and I found it and I
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: parked and I started. I was like, I'm just gonna
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: walk in and see what happens. So I walked in
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: and there's nobody at the guard station. Fucking ghost town.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Nobody there was sorry I missed track of time. This
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: is after we were done filming or I guess. So
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: it was July two thousand seven. July two thousand and seven,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: so you must have been out of filming. I guess. Yeah,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: we're not filming in July. We were, we wouldn't be
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: filming at all. But but but but I can see
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: from your pictures that no, we were still filming there. Yeah,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: we were just down. We were down for the summer
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, it was between seasons. You're between sea.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I think I didn't. I just walked in. It was open,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: literally open, So I'm I'm like, hello, is anybody in there? Nothing,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: nobody's coming out, nobody's saying anything to hear any words.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I mean, anybody could have walked in there. So I
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: took my little camera no cell phone cameras, and I
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: walked around and I couldn't believe it. And I'm like,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: oh my god, here i am at the nurse decision.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm at the cafeteria. Oh my god,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I'm at coffee Bucks. I'm literally walking through your guys
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: is set slash building. And as I'm walking through, you nervous,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: did you think like that someone's gonna like arrest you
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: very very nervous. Did you just stay on the first floor?
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Did you make it up to No, I didn't. I
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: didn't go up. I was terrified of being there in
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: the first all right. We could tell the audience that
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: we that were looking on zoom a shared screen of
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: all of these pictures of Alex walking through the empty hospital. Yeah,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: and it was Alex, did you kill anyone on you? There?
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Maybe a dead body. Well, they're a body buried somewhere.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: There's a lot of the next slide, the dead guard
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: I told you wasn't there, but you never know because
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: I killed him. You said there was a story once
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: a how you guys hit stuff above the ceiling tiles
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: and then not on purpose. Someone's hit rowdy to get
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: back at Bill. Oh, it's no surprise anything. Was that there?
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Half the ceiling tiles were missing when I got there. Yeah,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: well yeah, so that that was also, Uh, that's a
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: that was a Bill and uh, that was a Bill
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Lawrence thing. He wanted the hospital to feel like it
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: was old funds. It was literally low on funds. Yeah,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: and I don't know how you guys managed their day
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: to day. I mean, it's it was a dump, no
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: effect there was a sign. There was a sign outside
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Editorial that was just the size of a piece of paper,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: and it said, like, this is to officially warn anyone
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: in this building that the following toxic chemicals are in
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: this I mean asbestos and gotten mulled and god knows
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: what else. I mean, it was an ancient old hospital
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: that was meant to be torn down. But we were like,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: wait before you teared, before we're going, yeah, we understand
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: it's a safety hazard. Yes, we under stand that has
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: black mold and asbestos and a zillion other problems, but
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: we're just gonna quickly spend nine years. It scared me
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: like crazy. I was trying to piece together like where
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: you guys were in different scenes and stuff, just from
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: watching the show. Like a lot of people will put
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: together old sitcoms and figure out how this set is
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: sort of figured out or what it would like recently,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: that Sinfold department doesn't make any any sense, no zero sense,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: But this one, I mean, the building doesn't lie. It's
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: a character in the show. Yeah, And so I was
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: just fascinated. As a young architect, I'm like I have
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: to go piece this together. I sort of put it
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: together in my mind obviously, but just being there absolutely
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: blew my mind. And I can end with you making
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: a full scale model. I hope something. I could build
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: it in three D and walk you through it, probably
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: right now. Yeah, that's a I could make you a
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: video game with Scrubs Hospital as the main place. I pitched.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I pitched to Bill all the time that we should
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: make a Scrubs animated series, stop motion animated series. We
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: would need somebody to rebuild the hospital if he ever
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: signs off on that. Oh my lord, that would be amazing.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: You'd have to include the black mold though, that's the
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: critical partner. Oh yeah, of course we'd have an episode
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: of based on listen doctors. Real friends don't encourage you
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: to sneak into your favorite TV show sets. But Alex,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you did it successfully. No one was harmed. Oh back
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: in the day, I survived. But um, I have an
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: apropos question to that from I Fix my Life. But yes,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: go it's time for Maryland's favorite segment. Donald, it's time
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: too fix you. So I have I have questions for you,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: But I the fix of my life. I told you, well,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: I said, I yield and he fixed my life? Or
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: good advice to my almost twelve year old daughter. Um,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: she you know, I can fix my own life. I
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: got I got lots of things. I'm your guy's age.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: I can manage. But she is really interested in theater
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: and film, and she's a young lady who wants to learn.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: She zactly she was following your lovely lady Florence through
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: her trials in Black Widow. And she would always tell
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: me how fascinated she was that Florence would give shout
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: outs to the crew, and she said that was so honorable,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: and she said, I always wanted to be there as
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: part of that crew who would set things up. I
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: was walking the other day and we happened to see
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: his teeny like one camera independent photo shoot. Somebody was
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: holding a boom, like a real boom mic and she's like,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: I just got chills. Oh that's why I was like, well,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: that's what I was like. She's almost twelve. I would
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: literally like this is so dorky, but I would I
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: would set up what I thought a film set looked
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: like in my dining room. I had nothing to shoot,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: I had no one to film, but I would like
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: put a clip light here and put my little video
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: camera in a tripod, and my mom would be like,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: can I clean up the dining room? Or like, Mom,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: it's a hot set. You can't tell. And I remember
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: being I remember I would just walk by the dining
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: room where I had set up what I thought a
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: movie set, looked like there was nothing. I had no
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: plan of anything I was filming. I just thought it
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: was cool that I had a mom film set in
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: my dining room. So there you go. It sounds like
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: your girl was a lot like I was. Is there
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: a lot of theater in you guys' town? She well,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I grew up doing high school theater. I was like
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: the unsuspecting lead in all the plays. I never knew
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I had it, I mean, and that just went poof.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: So I always act. I always admire the stories of
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: your dad having theater in his blood still later in
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: his life. I sort of aspire to that. But she's
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: you know, she went to theater camp every summer. She
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: got this last one. She went to a place called
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Glenn Echo and it's an adventure theater. It's right down
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: here in DC. It's fantastic. They're so good, and she
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: was always good at the theater part. She's very very good,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: but she just loved She's like, I wonder how long
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: it's going to take to reset that scene? You know,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: She's like, that's what gets her going. So it sounds
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: like she might be as interested in the behind the
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: scenes as she is in being an actress. That's exactly right,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: mister Raff. She was very much interested in that. So
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I promised her one day, I will take you out
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: to I guess Los Angeles and we will figure out
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: a way to go be a fly on the wall
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: at a TV shoot or a film shoot or whatever
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: it is, because she would just absolutely drop dead. Well,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: the easiest thing to do, by the way, is uh,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: you know, the easiest unless you have a connection to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: someone who's shooting, especially now COVID. You know, pretend COVID's over.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: When COVID's over. But you can take her to a
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: sitcom taping because my father they're always they're dying to
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: have audiences, you know, they really they really want you
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: to do it. And my father, when I was her age,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: brought me to I've told this on the podcast, to
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: a taping of the Bob Newhart Show. Um, and I
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: you know she will love that because that is that
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: is the best way to just kind of watch behind
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: the scenes of production and and uh and and be
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: able to sit there. But sorry, go ahead with your
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: with your Well that's that's sort of it. So you
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: guys live in this world every day. And so if
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: you were in my shoes and you were just some
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: civilian architect who wanted to make his daughter's dreams come true,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: how would you figure out a way to put her
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: in the position to be part of the behind the
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: scenes and just like be sneaking in and just watching
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: a set go by, Like I don't even know how
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: to make that manifest that dream. My life is really
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: good at manifesting things, like willing things into existence, but
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: this is can't figure it out. Well. Normally, if it
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: were non COVID times, we could easily figure out a
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: way to get you on some set because we could ask, Wow,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: we could ask one of our friends apprently shooting. The
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: problem is in this day and age, yeah, you're not
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: even allowed on, Like I can't even have My mom
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: keeps saying I can't wait to visit the set of
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: your new movie. I'm thinking, like, Mom, you can't listen
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: to I don't have the heart to break it to you.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: But but so so, yeah, you're gonna have to wait
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: until this this apocalypse is fully over. But my answer
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: is the easiest thing is go online and if you're
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: listening and you're interested in this for your kid or
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: for yourself as well, look into how you get tickets
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: to a sitcom taping because they are always looking to
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: recruit audiences. Obviously, if it's a popular show, it can
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: be harder to get tickets. But another one that's tricky
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: to get tickets too, but you can you if you're clever,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: you can figure it out is SNL, which is amazing, Yeah,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: because really difficult to get. But don't you're not if
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: he wants to do the first one in line and
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: wait overnight, he could do. I mean, it depends how
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: hardcore you want to be. But my point is SNL
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: is so fun because you're watching, uh I remember watching
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: when I was. You're watching them the crew, amazing crew
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: move like a Swiss watch all these sets live during
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: the commercial break. So that's that's really thrilling. And but
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: the first thing that comes to mind is is a
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: sitcom audience because I also believe that they're going to
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: start allowing people back once they're vaxed and tested into
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: sitcom audiences. Yeah, in terms of going on a real
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: movie set, I don't have an answer for you right now,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: but we will ruminate on it and tell JU, well,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: if we can think of anything. Oh yeah, well we can.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: We have time on our side, so we'll go out
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: there and poke around. So so you might think about
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: sending her to a camp that I don't know if
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: this camp that she goes to that also has a
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: video production, because some of them do. Yeah, we're gonna
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: try that. Next really wants to be behind the camera.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: I know there's the popular the one I went to
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: that I always advertise his stage door manner um. The
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: other popular one is French Woods Woods. But also just
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: research because some of these have a film and TV
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: programs that are, you know, just as intense as their
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: theater program That's so cool. Yeah, I'll when the world
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: opens back up, Joel, I'll be sure to ring you
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: and let you know where in the area. Yeah, a
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: young girl in the film industry feels like the right thing,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: especially for an aspiring lady who wants to be there professionally.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we'd support that a lot. And I know Donald.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: You have, you know, kids who probably live next to
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: your world constantly, and so it's got to be pretty
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: fascinating for you to see them. I don't want them.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: I don't want them anywhere near my world, to be
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: honest with you, like and and and my kids show
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: interest too, and it's like, I don't want to I
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: don't want that for you. But it's not up to
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: me at the end of the day. Well, if you
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: want to have equal amount of anxiety about their future,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: just make them put them in architecture. That'll be right
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: there about the same guarantee. Also, Alex, I was thinking,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: you know, there's some I don't know if it's too
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: mature for her, but there's some master classes that are cool,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: like Ron Howard did one. Yeah, we we have the
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: master Class subscription and definitely show her. There's definitely some
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: behind the scenes filmmaking ones. I know I watched Laurn
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Howard one out of curiosity. Um, those might really those
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: might really interest her. Yeah, yeah, we definitely do. But yeah,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: literally one day. I mean, you know, if you have kids,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: you know, just seeing the surprise and the amazement on
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: their faces when they get this thing that shows up
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: in their life that they never thought would exist. It's
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: just it's not. It's not for me, It's not I
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: have a surprise for you, Alex, because not yet. Wait
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: till I introduce you. Oh no, hold on, I gotta
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: figure out how to do this with my mic Can
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: you hear me? All right, it's gonna sound shitty for
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: a second, but we have a very special surprise visitor
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: on today show to end the show? Oh my god,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: do you want to get one of your things and
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: sing something? Um? All right, so this is a surprise,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: not planning. Okay, do you guys like surprises? Yeah? You
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: can come in and then tune while you. I've been
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: surprised all day since Joel called me. I've been kidding me, Alex,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: because I didn't because I didn't successfully fix your life.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: I just had some mild No come in first, friend,
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: come in. No, it's been tuned, Preston tuned it, ladies
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: and gentlemen, A total surprise, mister Joshua Raded. Oh my
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: yes a day o shoon? What's up? Brother? How are
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: this is our guest? Alex? Yeah? Thank You're going to
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: get you one of those and you know Joel, And
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: that's a day This is such an honor, Josh. I've
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: been I've been a fan of yours since the beginning
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: of Scrubs and since Gardens dating all the things when
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Zach introduced you more to the world than ever. Thank
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: you so much. Well, it's so, it's such a nice
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: pleasure to meet Donald. Why do we want him to sing? Donald?
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: He was supposed to meet me, but he came a
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: little early. What are you guys doing in fucking New
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: York without me? First of all, we're gonna have motherfucker, Josh.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: You're supposed to be like in Sweden or some shit
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: like well he was doing in New York. Listen, what
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: the fuck is going on that you two are hanging
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: out and I'm sitting in my fucking house in California
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: while you're doing fucking running around New York City having
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: a good time together. Man, coming back, body, this is
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: some bullshit right now. I need you to calm down. Okay,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: cannot calm down. I'm up to safe. God damn, I
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: will not be calmed n Dan, You're gonna have to
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: turn that volume way down. Okay, Um do you let
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: started off the show talking about these Jose ain't loyal,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: These Hoose ain't fucking loyal? All right? Look at him.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: To two of them, Hose schilling together. You're missing you're
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: you're missing your bottom, bitch, motherfuckers, you're missing it down bottom,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: bitch that Josha said, Josh. Josh just said, Josh, just
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: while you were screaming goes twice a week. Huh he
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: recorded this time? All right, listen, this was not this
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: was not planned. But Josh has a new album out
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: called What Josh. It's called The Ghost and the Wall,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: The Ghost and the Wall, which you listeners should listen
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: to and pick up. And now Josh is going to
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: surprise us with a track from Ghost in the Wall.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Hey guess what you guys. So this was hanging on
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: the wall in Zach's apartment. It's actually my guitar. Zach
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: bought this for me as a birthday present my thirtieth birthday.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: I think, wow and uh. And I decided many years
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: ago to leave it on the wall here so anytime
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: I'm here I can play it. Um thinking what I'm
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: gonna do to make this more professionals. Give you the
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: headphones so you sound like you want to sound right?
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: I don't care, well, just singing to the mic. Yeah,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: that's what you do. But what you're gonna do is
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: seeing into this microphone. Okay, all right, you see one
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: of those before? All right, nobody talked during the song. Okay,
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Alex for God, can we move this down just to
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: touch wherever you want it? Like that? Like oh, there's
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: no video. There's no video. We day dreaming about putting
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: it on YouTube one day, but Donald won't update his
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: fucking camera. He stole the iheard camera and put used
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: it for his fucking animation. Hey cock nos, shut up,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: watch stick cock nose and Josh, let's call it. He
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: just said to stick on my cock nose in your
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: twat ear. He's got one whole nose. Okay, let's creative.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: Everybody calm down. Here is Josh. What's this song called Josh?
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: This one's called hey you Hey, you here we go? Yeah?
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: Hey you fuck Donald? Leave him in California. Put the
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: headphones on er now, no, I'll where do you guys
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: do this? Okay? I love the Josh was like you
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: do this twice a week. Are here we go? Here's
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: shot you? Where are you going? Because I need ride?
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: Were out here? Now? The bridge on my fire only
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: a week, but it seemed like here. I know I'll
