- 0:25Well, hello there, everyone.
- 0:26It is so great to be with you
- 0:28on the Inspirations for Your Life show tonight.
- 0:31Thank you so much for joining me, really,
- 0:33really do appreciate that.
- 0:35From the bottom of my heart, if this
- 0:37is the very first time you're joining me,
- 0:39I want to take the opportunity to say
- 0:40welcome and thank you.
- 0:42If you've been here one time, five times,
- 0:4410 times, 100, or even more, I'd like
- 0:46to say thank you and welcome, but I'd
- 0:47also like to say the words, welcome back.
- 0:50Since today is a Sunday, I want to
- 0:52give a shout out to a local business.
- 0:56I was actually in Fulton, New Jersey, and
- 1:00I discovered a coffee shop that I thought
- 1:05would be pretty good.
- 1:07So we're doing something new now.
- 1:09Not only are we just picking up businesses,
- 1:11we're actually visiting them first.
- 1:12So I think that's an important thing now
- 1:15that we're actually visiting the businesses first.
- 1:19So that's really important.
- 1:22So I visited Boonton Coffee to say hello
- 1:25to the people over there, introduce myself, and
- 1:27let them know we would love to do
- 1:28a live show there and a recording.
- 1:31I dropped there, I got a card from
- 1:33a lady named Nina, and I spoke to
- 1:36somebody at the desk and gave them my
- 1:37information and told them to go to jcmcademy
- 1:40.com where they can click on contact us
- 1:43and request us to come out so they
- 1:44can host us.
- 1:45We'd be happy to tell their story after
- 1:47the show.
- 1:48We will do an author talk, then we'll
- 1:51do a Q&A, and then we'll do
- 1:52an author signing.
- 1:54So it's a nice little coffee shop.
- 1:56They have lots of different things.
- 1:58It looks like they have other types of
- 2:00events there, things like clay workshops and stuff.
- 2:05So ours would definitely be a little bit
- 2:07different.
- 2:09They do some ticketed events, it looks like.
- 2:13So that's kind of how it is.
- 2:15Ours will be a free event.
- 2:18And yeah, so they have lots of different
- 2:22things.
- 2:22So I think they would definitely really enjoy
- 2:24us.
- 2:25It looks like they have lots of different
- 2:26people there.
- 2:27So I hope they will definitely reach out
- 2:29to us.
- 2:30So the shop is pretty interesting.
- 2:32They have lots of different things there.
- 2:34They make their own coffees, they're in small
- 2:36batches.
- 2:37So again, Boonton Coffee, this is a shout
- 2:39out to you guys.
- 2:41In case you're wondering where they're located, sure.
- 2:43They're located at 602 Main Street in Boonton,
- 2:46New Jersey, 07005.
- 2:48Monday to Wednesday, 6.30 a.m. in

- 3:17more of my amazing, of course, inspiring creations.
- 3:21All right, guys, the master weekly topic, Series
- 3:235, Show 31 is master your choices before
- 3:26they master you.
- 3:28And today's granular topic is how to think
- 3:31clearly under pressure.
- 3:32Series 5, Show 31, episode number two.
- 3:35And welcome, everyone, to the ever-popular Inspirations
- 3:39For Your Life show.
- 3:41It's great to have you here.
- 3:43I'm John C.
- 3:44Morley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer,
- 3:48podcast host, coach, keynote speaker, graduate student at
- 3:51Montclair State University, passionate lifelong learner, and so
- 3:55grateful now to be a published author.
- 3:58Yes, pressure is part of life, guys, whether
- 4:01it's difficult conversation, an unexpected challenge, or an
- 4:04important decision.
- 4:06Pressure has a way of testing how we
- 4:08think in our lives.
- 4:09The good news is that clear thinking isn't
- 4:12something you're born with.
- 4:13It's a skill you develop every day.
- 4:16Today, let's explore 30 practical ways, okay, to
- 4:20stay calm, think clearly, and make better decisions
- 4:24when the pressure is on.
- 4:26And, you know, a lot of you are
- 4:28saying to me, John, I don't like pressure.
- 4:29But I can tell you something.
- 4:30If you didn't have pressure, you couldn't walk.
- 4:31Did you know that?
- 4:32Yes.
- 4:33So you need pressure to walk.
- 4:38That's right.
- 4:40The pressure, basically, we refer to as friction.
- 4:46That's kind of what we're talking about.
- 4:47If we have too much friction, we can't
- 4:49walk.
- 4:50If we don't have any, we can't walk
- 4:52at all as well, okay?
- 4:54So number one, stay calm before reacting.
- 4:57The first response isn't always the best response.
- 5:00A calm mind sees opportunities that panic often
- 5:05misses.
- 5:06Number two, emotions influence decisions.
- 5:10Feelings are important, but they shouldn't make every
- 5:13decision.
- 5:14Learn to separate emotion from judgment.
- 5:17Number three, pause before responding.
- 5:19A brief pause gives you, in your mind,
- 5:22time to process instead of simply reacting.
- 5:26Thoughtful responses usually create better outcomes.
- 5:28Number four, focus on the facts.
- 5:32Yep.
- 5:32Assumptions create confusion.
- 5:35Facts create clarity.
- 5:36Make decisions based on what you know, not
- 5:39what you fear.
- 5:39And we know what fear is, guys.
- 5:41Fear is nothing more than false evidence appearing
- 5:43real.
- 5:45Number five, guys, eliminate unnecessary fear.
- 5:48We said it's false evidence appearing real.
- 5:50Fear often exaggerates problems.
- 5:52Focus on reality and avoid creating obstacles that
- 5:55don't actually exist.
- 5:57Number six, control what you can.
- 5:59Some things are outside your control.
- 6:02Invest your energy where it can actually make
- 6:04a difference.
- 6:05Number seven, stay solution-focused.
- 6:08Don't spend all your time discussing the problem.
- 6:11Begin looking for the next positive step forward.
- 6:15Number eight, think objectively.
- 6:17Look at the situation from multiple perspectives.
- 6:20Objective thinking helps remove unnecessary bias.
- 6:25Number nine, preparation builds confidence.
- 6:29Preparation reduces uncertainty.
- 6:31The better prepared you are, the calmer you'll
- 6:34remain under pressure.
- 6:36Number 10, learn to adapt.
- 6:39Not everything will go according to plan.
- 6:41Just accept that right now.
- 6:43Flexibility allows you to keep moving, okay, without
- 6:47losing momentum.
- 6:49Number 11, ask better questions.
- 6:53Ask better questions, all right?
- 6:57Better questions lead to better answers.
- 7:00Stay curious.
- 7:01Instead of making quick, yes, those quick assumptions
- 7:05that can oftentimes burn us.
- 7:08An assumption is something we think is real,
- 7:10but a lot of times it isn't.
- 7:12And because of that assumption, we go down
- 7:13a rabbit hole that we really didn't want
- 7:15to go down.
- 7:16There was no need to even go down
- 7:17that hole.
- 7:18Number 12, guys, slow thinking.
- 7:21Slow it down.
- 7:22Just slow it down.
- 7:23Fast decisions aren't always smart decisions.
- 7:26Give yourself enough time to breathe, to think
- 7:28clearly, to become aware of life and what's
- 7:32around us and ingratiate yourself and be grateful
- 7:35for things.
- 7:36Number 13, stay emotionally balanced.
- 7:39Balance allows you to respond with wisdom instead
- 7:41of reacting with frustration or fear.
- 7:45Number 14, build mental resilience.
- 7:47Every challenge strengthens your ability to handle the
- 7:50next one.
- 7:51Resilience grows through experience.
- 7:55Number 15, listen before speaking.
- 7:57Listening provides information that speaking alone never will.
- 8:02Understanding always comes before effective communication.
- 8:06Number 16, evaluate every option.
- 8:10Good decisions rarely come from looking at only
- 8:14one solution.
- 8:16Consider your options carefully before choosing a direction.
- 8:20A few extra minutes of evaluation can save
- 8:22weeks of correction.
- 8:25Number 17, don't panic.
- 8:28So many people I know, they panic.
- 8:29Oh my gosh, what am I going to
- 8:30do?
- 8:30What am I going to do?
- 8:31What am I going to do, right?
- 8:32Panic just narrows your thinking and often leads
- 8:36to poor decisions.
- 8:37So slow your breathing down.
- 8:40Stay composed.
- 8:41And remember that every challenge can be approached
- 8:44one step at a time.
- 8:47Just like you walk, right?
- 8:48You walk putting one foot in front of
- 8:50the other.
- 8:51That's how you walk.
- 8:52Number 18, stay patient.
- 8:55Not every problem requires an immediate solution.
- 9:00Sometimes we try to come up with a
- 9:01solution, but maybe we don't really need a
- 9:04solution.
- 9:05Maybe it's just a matter of just observing
- 9:06and just being, right?
- 9:09Patience gives you time to gather information.
- 9:13Think clearly and respond with confidence instead of
- 9:17urgency.
- 9:18Number 19, protect your mindset.
- 9:21Protect it.
- 9:23Your mindset influences every decision you make.
- 9:26Guard it against negativity, unnecessary worry and constant
- 9:29distractions.
- 9:31A healthy mindset creates better outcomes.
- 9:33So what do I mean by this?
- 9:34So what we put in our body is
- 9:37very important.
- 9:38That also means to refer to things like,
- 9:43let's say, the words we take, the mental
- 9:48diet, not just the stuff that we're hearing.
- 9:52I think that's a very important thing.
- 9:55We have to understand that.
- 9:57If we don't understand that, then I feel
- 10:00that challenge can be upon us in a
- 10:03way that maybe we're not happy with.
- 10:04The challenge could become more stressful.
- 10:06I think that's a point that a lot
- 10:09of people, like they don't realize what that
- 10:12is.
- 10:13But I want to tell you that it's
- 10:15something that a lot of people, they just
- 10:18don't understand what that is or why that
- 10:22is a certain way.
- 10:24And I can tell you that for whatever
- 10:27you're doing, you have to understand that what
- 10:31we do matters, okay?
- 10:33And how we approach life matters.
- 10:36I think that's an important piece of life.
- 10:42And hopefully that means something to you, right?
- 10:47Hopefully that means something to you.
- 10:49And I'll tell you that sometimes we go
- 10:54off a path because we don't understand something.
- 10:58And we think that's the right way to
- 11:00go, but really isn't the right way.
- 11:02It just confuses everybody.
- 11:04And I think that's a big problem that
- 11:08a lot of people, unfortunately, like they don't
- 11:12understand.
- 11:13And they think that if they act one
- 11:15way, that they're going to just magically solve
- 11:17the problem.
- 11:18But really what they do is they create
- 11:19more frustration.
- 11:20They create more worry.
- 11:22So just like the food you put in
- 11:24your body, a mental diet for us is
- 11:27so very, very important.
- 11:30And the words we hear from others, the
- 11:33words that we tell ourselves, maybe you say,
- 11:37I'm not this, I'm not that, I'm not
- 11:38that.
- 11:39All these I'm nots can be a problem.
- 11:43And that's a problem for a lot of
- 11:45people.
- 11:46When I say, I'm not, I'm not, I'm
- 11:48not, I'm not, your body's going to say,
- 11:50okay, I guess you're not.
- 11:51And then you become what you feed into
- 11:55your body.
- 11:55You become those thoughts.
- 11:58And I think that's a hard thing for
- 12:01a lot of people to understand, that they
- 12:05have the power, they have the control of
- 12:07those thoughts.
- 12:08But for whatever reason, people get lost.
- 12:12They think that where they are right now
- 12:15is the whole concept, but really it's just
- 12:18more confusion, guys.
- 12:21And when we have bad food, right, we're
- 12:24not well, we don't feel great.
- 12:26But when we put bad words, just like
- 12:31bad nutrition, right, if you don't eat enough,
- 12:34what happens?
- 12:35You get an energy crisis if you don't
- 12:36eat at all, right?
- 12:38If you put no motivation in your body,
- 12:41you get stuck.
- 12:44You put the wrong motivation in your body,
- 12:46well, you go backwards.
- 12:48So this is why this is really important
- 12:50that you think about the content you want
- 12:54to put into your mind, because that makes
- 12:57a big difference, okay?
- 13:00It's important.
- 13:06I think if people knew how they affected
- 13:09themselves, I think that's a big thing that
- 13:17many people, they just don't realize it.
- 13:24And I think if people would know that
- 13:27they could make this difference, they would absolutely
- 13:30make the difference, like night and day.
- 13:32But most people don't think that they have
- 13:35to make the difference.
- 13:37They figure that, well, you know, there's lots
- 13:39of stuff in the universe.
- 13:40Yeah, but the stuff in the universe, guys,
- 13:41is actually running you to someone else's plan,
- 13:45not your own plan.
- 13:46I think those are really key things.
- 13:48So I've always said this before.
- 13:50You can have your plan and move toward
- 13:52it or have no plan and be living
- 13:55someone else's.
- 13:57You can build your own dream or, again,
- 14:00you can work on someone else's.
- 14:02Not that that's bad, but we want to
- 14:04have our own dreams, guys.
- 14:05We want to have those.
- 14:08Number 20, think long term.
- 14:12Don't let today's pressure cause tomorrow's regret.
- 14:14Make decisions that support your long term goals
- 14:18instead of simply providing short term relief.
- 14:22And I think that's another big point is
- 14:24that so many people, they look at short
- 14:26term relief like, oh my gosh, this is
- 14:27how we have to go.
- 14:28But then they don't realize that this is
- 14:32actually what they're doing themselves.
- 14:34They're causing this problem themselves.
- 14:36They're causing it.
- 14:38So your thoughts create your reality.
- 14:41You are where you are right now because
- 14:42of the thoughts you had yesterday.
- 14:44And before.
- 14:46If we realize that, we can change it.
- 14:49We can stop it.
- 14:51And we can have those thoughts put us
- 14:52in a different pathway, a different course.
- 14:56Just alter it.
- 14:57You might say, well, John, I've been following
- 14:58it my whole life.
- 15:00OK?
- 15:01And are you happy with where it's putting
- 15:03you right now?
- 15:05No.
- 15:06So if you're not happy, then probably it's
- 15:08time for you to make a change.
- 15:12Time to make a change.
- 15:13Because Einstein said before, the definition of insanity
- 15:17is doing the same thing over and over
- 15:19again and expecting what, guys?
- 15:22Different results.
- 15:25Different results.
- 15:29I think that's an important thing that many
- 15:32people don't understand.
- 15:35They don't understand what this means or that
- 15:38they have this kind of power.
- 15:41OK?
- 15:41But there is a lot of power out
- 15:44there.
- 15:47And the power to change your life is
- 15:50literally just one thought away.
- 15:54Right?
- 15:55Thinking clearly and making sure that you are
- 15:59getting input that will make you productive, will
- 16:04make you happy, will make you proud, will
- 16:08make you move towards your goals.
- 16:15People will tell you all day, you're not
- 16:17this.
- 16:17I'm not this.
- 16:17You're not that.
- 16:18You keep being around those people, that negative
- 16:20energy, guys, is going to fade from them
- 16:23onto you.
- 16:25Number 21, learn from pressure.
- 16:28OK?
- 16:29Pressure is not a bad thing.
- 16:30It's a good thing.
- 16:33And I will tell you that something like
- 16:37this is something that you don't realize.
- 16:40OK?
- 16:41It's something that you can make a huge,
- 16:44huge difference.
- 16:46And I can tell you that you can
- 16:48make this change in your life if you
- 16:51really want to, if you want to.
- 16:54It doesn't just happen on your own accord.
- 16:57You have to be intentional.
- 16:59You have to be consistent with structure.
- 17:12And I can tell you that you can
- 17:15find what you want if you truly go
- 17:18after it.
- 17:19So pressure is one of life's greatest teachers.
- 17:21Every difficult situation develops experience, confidence, and better
- 17:26judgment for the future.
- 17:28Number 22, stay flexible.
- 17:31Sometimes, guys, the goal remains the same while
- 17:37the path changes.
- 17:39Flexibility allows us to adjust without giving up
- 17:42on what matters most to us.
- 17:45Sometimes we need to tweak the path, right?
- 17:48Maybe we're going somewhere and there's traffic or
- 17:50there's an accident.
- 17:52We need to alter our course so we
- 17:55can still get to the restaurant or get
- 17:57to that place we want to get to,
- 17:58right?
- 18:00Number 23, trust preparation.
- 18:04This is what I think a lot of
- 18:06people, they hedge on because they don't think
- 18:11it's real, but it really is.
- 18:14Preparation gives you confidence whenever uncertainty appears.
- 18:18And uncertainty is going to appear.
- 18:19And I've learned that uncertainty appears when you're
- 18:21close to your goals.
- 18:23The work you do before pressure arrives often
- 18:27determines how well you perform during it.
- 18:30That's the whole concept I said before about
- 18:32being proactive, not reactive, okay?
- 18:38I think that's an important piece for a
- 18:41lot of us to understand.
- 18:44And if we understand that, then maybe we
- 18:47can actually change our lives.
- 18:49For the better, that is.
- 18:51For the better.
- 18:52All right, number 24, learn to build confidence
- 18:57through experience.
- 19:00Every challenge you overcome will remind you that
- 19:06you're more capable than you once believed.
- 19:09See, people say, I'm not this, I'm not
- 19:11that.
- 19:12I'm not tall enough.
- 19:13I'm not smart enough.
- 19:14I don't have enough money.
- 19:15I'm not wealthy enough.
- 19:16I'm not this.
- 19:17I'm not that.
- 19:21I'm not a million things.
- 19:24And you condition your mind to saying, okay,
- 19:26I'm not that, so I guess I'm already
- 19:28done.
- 19:29See, you're more capable than you once believed.
- 19:31That's the key.
- 19:33Confidence grows one experience at a time.
- 19:37It does not happen overnight.
- 19:39I want to say that to you now.
- 19:41It is the constant flow of being constructive,
- 19:46okay?
- 19:46Of being consistent, okay?
- 19:51Consistency and structure is what leads us to
- 19:54success.
- 19:55You don't do it one day, guys.
- 19:57You have to keep doing it day in
- 19:59and day out.
- 20:01But you say, well, John, I did it
- 20:02three days.
- 20:03Well, that's fine.
- 20:05But you need to keep doing it, right?
- 20:08Over and over and over again.
- 20:12I think those are important things that many
- 20:15people like.
- 20:16They just don't realize that they have the
- 20:20power to change.
- 20:21So when you change I'm not to I
- 20:24am, you become it.
- 20:28You become those things that you didn't think
- 20:30you could do.
- 20:31I am.
- 20:32I am.
- 20:33I am.
- 20:35I am this.
- 20:36I am that.
- 20:37I am wealthy.
- 20:38I am smart.
- 20:39I am grateful, okay?
- 20:46That's important, guys, to understand that whole concept,
- 20:51right?
- 20:51Understanding that whole concept matters so much.
- 20:55Number 25, please keep improving your life.
- 20:59There's always another lesson to learn around every
- 21:01corner and another skill to develop.
- 21:04Continuous improvement prepares you for tomorrow's opportunities and
- 21:08the journeys ahead.
- 21:09You see, the skills that you learn today
- 21:12will actually be the ones you need later.
- 21:16I like to think about this similar to
- 21:19sports.
- 21:20When you are learning sports, like, for example,
- 21:23when I was learning many years when I
- 21:24was younger to play soccer, there are some
- 21:28basics, right?
- 21:29So what are the basics to being a
- 21:33good soccer player?
- 21:34Does anybody know?
- 21:35So I was on soccer teams for a
- 21:36long time.
- 21:37So the basics are first, touch.
- 21:41Learn to stop or redirect the ball cleanly
- 21:43when it comes to you, not your hands.
- 21:45Dribble, keeping the ball close to your feet
- 21:48so you can move past other players.
- 21:50Passing and shooting.
- 21:51Practice kicking accurate with both your left and
- 21:54your right feet.
- 21:55Stamina, agility, and balance.
- 21:58Field vision, teamwork, coachability.
- 22:01That's where it starts, but you have to
- 22:02keep working at it.
- 22:03Number 26, stay disciplined.
- 22:05Discipline keeps your emotions from making your decisions
- 22:08for you.
- 22:09Stay focused on your values, your goals, and
- 22:11the actions that move you forward.
- 22:14In other words, what moves the needle in
- 22:17a positive direction for you.
- 22:18Number 27, make thoughtful decisions.
- 22:21Think beyond the immediate moment.
- 22:23Consider how today's choice will affect your future,
- 22:26your relationships, and your personal growth.
- 22:29Number 28, strong thinking creates strong outcomes.
- 22:33Clear thinking leads to better actions.
- 22:36And better actions produce better results.
- 22:40Strengthen your thinking and you'll strengthen every area
- 22:43of your life.
- 22:45Number 29, please note, pressure reveals character.
- 22:50It should not stress you out.
- 22:52It should bring out who you really are.
- 22:58Anyone, ladies and gentlemen, can stay calm when
- 23:01life is easy.
- 23:02That's no secret.
- 23:04Your true character is revealed by how you
- 23:07respond when circumstances become difficult and challenging.
- 23:11That's why people always want to get to
- 23:14know you in different situations.
- 23:15When you've gone for job interviews, well, what
- 23:20was something you did that was challenging and
- 23:21how did you handle it?
- 23:25Number 30, guys, calm minds make better decisions.
- 23:29The ability to remain calm under pressure is
- 23:31one of the greatest advantages you can develop
- 23:35in your life.
- 23:36A peaceful mind sees possibilities that panic can
- 23:40never recognize.
- 23:41It doesn't even see them.
- 23:43I think that's a problem.
- 23:44When we can't see something, we don't know
- 23:47what's going to happen.
- 23:48And we're kind of like, all right, I
- 23:51don't know where I'm going.
- 23:53And then that doubt creeps in.
- 24:01That's important, guys.
- 24:03That's important.
- 24:05As I get ready to close today's show,
- 24:07I want to let you know that pressure
- 24:08isn't your enemy.
- 24:10It's an opportunity to demonstrate strength and discipline
- 24:13and wisdom you've been developing over time.
- 24:16If we didn't have pressure, guys, and friction,
- 24:19we wouldn't be able to walk.
- 24:20Every challenge invites you to slow down, think
- 24:24clearly, and make choices that reflect your values
- 24:27instead of your emotions.
- 24:30As you move through this week, remember, ladies
- 24:33and gentlemen, that mastering your choices begins by
- 24:36mastering your thinking.
- 24:38You're not expected to do this in one
- 24:39hour, one day, one week, or even a
- 24:43month or a year.
- 24:44Stay patient with yourself.
- 24:46Continue learning and trust that every challenge is
- 24:48helping you become a wiser and smarter and
- 24:51more confident decision maker.
- 24:53I do want to, again, give that shout
- 24:57out to Boonton Coffee Company.
- 25:00They are located at the address I gave
- 25:04you, 602 Main Street in Boonton, New Jersey.
- 25:08You could tell them you heard about them
- 25:10here on the Inspirations For Your Life show.
- 25:12We hope that they will ask us to
- 25:14do a show there.
- 25:16We would love to do that.
- 25:17Thank you so very much, ladies and gentlemen,
- 25:20for choosing to join me for another amazing
- 25:22episode of Inspirations For Your Life.
- 25:24I am John C.
- 25:27Morley, serial entrepreneur.
- 25:29Engineer, marketing specialist, video producer, podcast host, coach,
- 25:34keynote speaker, graduate student at Montclair State University,
- 25:38passionate lifelong learner, and grateful now to be
- 25:41a published author.
- 25:43You know, ladies and gentlemen, when people ask
- 25:47me, you know, what got you started on
- 25:50your path?
- 25:52And I tell them my core values.
- 25:55If you asked me years ago, was I
- 25:57going to write a book?
- 25:58I probably would have told you no.
- 26:00If you were going to ask me that
- 26:01I was going to go back to school
- 26:02to get another master's and a PhD, I
- 26:04probably would have told you no, right?
- 26:07But our life evolves.
- 26:09It morphs.
- 26:10And we find that if we don't have
- 26:13a tool we need, we can go get
- 26:16it or we can go learn about it.
- 26:19Knowledge is something everyone has access to.
- 26:23Ladies and gentlemen, until next time, there's something
- 26:26important I want to say to you.
- 26:28I want you to please stay calm.
- 26:33I know there's going to be those times
- 26:35when panic is going to rear its head
- 26:37and others are going to panic and they're
- 26:39going to be like, what are you doing?
- 26:40What are you doing?
- 26:41What are you doing?
- 26:43It's important that you take a breath.
- 26:46It's important that you think clearly when others
- 26:50rush or they try to put you on
- 26:54edge, right?
- 27:00That's a key.
- 27:01But it's not something you're going to develop
- 27:02overnight.
- 27:03So don't beat yourself up over it.
- 27:05And remember, ladies and gentlemen, that the quality
- 27:08of your decisions is often determined by what?
- 27:15The quality of your thinking.
- 27:19The quality of your thinking.
- 27:21I think that's an important piece that many
- 27:24people miss.
- 27:25Remember, ladies and gentlemen, master your thoughts.
- 27:29Master your choices.
- 27:31And you know what you're going to do?
- 27:32You're going to master your future.
- 27:34But I don't want you to think that
- 27:36you just press some button and this just
- 27:39pops out, right?
- 27:40It's not like that.
- 27:43Mastering your life is evolution.
- 27:47It's learning from what we didn't do well
- 27:51and how we can improve it.
- 27:53Don't beat yourself up by what went wrong.
- 27:57Learn the lesson, get rid of the emotion,
- 27:59and figure out how we can change it.
- 28:01Have yourself a great rest of your day
- 28:02or evening.
- 28:03I'll see you on another show.
- 28:04Be well.
