- 0:00I'm Abby and I'm Anna and this is serious beef.
- 0:03Welcome. Well, well, boy, we both sat
- 0:05there. We saw.
- 0:06This is just a couple of dudes on a Saturday morning talking
- 0:08about I don't know what. Some guys, some guys being
- 0:11dudes, dudes being guys. You know what?
- 0:16And you know what? Speaking of, you ever had an
- 0:21issue when you go to the doctor? And you and you never and you
- 0:29never know what to ask. Oh my God, just 'cause we're a
- 0:32couple of guys, there's a. Couple of guys, I I do have no
- 0:34idea what to ask when I go to the doctor.
- 0:36Sorry. That's my beef.
- 0:38That's my beef listener. Feel free to let me know if you
- 0:43all have the same experience. I don't know, but my husband and
- 0:48my father both. My father as well.
- 0:52Yeah, your father as well. Imagine that have done the same
- 0:56thing. They go to the doctor, they
- 0:58don't ask a single question and then wonder why they have no
- 1:02idea what's going on. Yeah, I'm like.
- 1:06What do you What do you need? And ask any questions that I
- 1:09can't even fathom that he comes home.
- 1:11Well, I'll give you this example.
- 1:12My your father comes home after a meeting with AI.
- 1:18Guess a nice surgeon. I don't know.
- 1:19He's good to get us the cataract removed.
- 1:21OK, OK. So he has the consult about how
- 1:25that you know what's going to go down and how we're going to
- 1:27remove this cataract, OK. He comes home, I have about 20
- 1:30questions that are immediately in my head.
- 1:33OK, how much is it going to cost?
- 1:34Do they have a payment plan? Is it laser?
- 1:36Is it by hand? When is it when?
- 1:38Well, when's the sewage that can be done?
- 1:39What's the recovery time? When can you drive again?
- 1:42I mean, immediately all of these things have popped in my head.
- 1:44He didn't ask a single question. He had no answers.
- 1:48He could not answer any of the questions that I that I had.
- 1:52I was like, well. How do you?
- 1:54Even have a clue of what's going on here.
- 1:57I had to go back with him then for a second consult so that I
- 2:00could then ask the questions. Imagine that.
- 2:04Imagine that. But my dad is the same way.
- 2:06Yeah. My mom is in the hospital again
- 2:09and, and, and you know, she's actually out of the hospital now
- 2:12in rehab. So.
- 2:12Oh, OK, good. Yeah.
- 2:13So hopefully on the mend. But again, I go up to the
- 2:17hospital and I'm like, well, did did you have any tests done?
- 2:21Yeah, we had ACT scan. Well, what were the results?
- 2:24I don't know. Did you ask?
- 2:26For the results. No.
- 2:30Did you ask to talk to the doctor?
- 2:31Did you ask the nurse to read you that?
- 2:33She can read you the results? You have no questions, None
- 2:35whatsoever. Bless him.
- 2:37Bless his heart. I.
- 2:39Don't oh to me. So like just to how, how do
- 2:42people get so far? I don't know.
- 2:44I can't even imagine. I called that doctor the next
- 2:47day, he made us tell, reads me. Every single test that was done,
- 2:50every every single diagnosis. I was.
- 2:52I made him still the phone with me for 30.
- 2:54Minutes I was. Like you were going to tell me.
- 2:56Everything I know, I heard you got in a fight.
- 2:58Well, I had to get in a fight with him.
- 2:59Yeah, because they discharged my mom.
- 3:01Woo woo. Insurance.
- 3:03Don't even get me started. Don't even get me started.
- 3:06Insurance. Insurance slash Medicare.
- 3:09Yeah, they they run the. World is the devil.
- 3:10Yeah, they are the devil. That's true.
- 3:12Anyway, So yeah, I just, I'm just curious.
- 3:15I'm a, I'm a, I'm a curious person.
- 3:17And, and I'm wondering, is it just me?
- 3:18Is it just the men in my life such as me that don't ask
- 3:22questions or is it all men in general?
- 3:24I I don't know. I really don't know.
- 3:26These are the two that I know about right now.
- 3:28You haven't lived. You really haven't lived until
- 3:31you. I'm actually a ghost.
- 3:34You haven't lived. Until you've taken your father.
- 3:36To the doctor and sat in there with him and he can't hear and
- 3:42and he doesn't have his hearing aids in.
- 3:44Who? Who knew?
- 3:45That that would be something that might be useful I thought.
- 3:47You were saying my father and I'm like then you and I'm like,
- 3:50is my does my father have hearing aids?
- 3:51Jesus Christ, he should. So he I took my father.
- 3:56You're going to have the same. Situation.
- 3:58Yeah, that, that was a that was a real trade.
- 4:00We'll say we'll save that for another day because this is this
- 4:04weekend is Mother's Day. It sure is.
- 4:06We're of course we're typical for us.
- 4:08We're we're behind in this will air.
- 4:09Day late in Dollar Shore. Always a day late.
- 4:11Dollar Shore. This will air after Mother's
- 4:13Day. But you know what?
- 4:14A tribute to the mothers here. Maybe I don't.
- 4:16Know and the motherfuckers. Oh.
- 4:19It's this exact same joke last year did.
- 4:22You really? Yeah, and I'm still offended.
- 4:26Shout out to the mothers and to the motherfuckers.
- 4:28No, we're. Not doing your shot for to them
- 4:32I don't know. The sauce, let's say our sauce,
- 4:36our sauce, it's a mother sauce there.
- 4:38Who knew there were sauces that are considered mother sauces,
- 4:41which all the other sauces then come from?
- 4:43It's true or derived. From I guess, we learned.
- 4:45This because we had to look up sauces.
- 4:47Yep. So today's sauce is a bechamel
- 4:51bechamel sauce. Bechamel sauce.
- 4:53It's. Pretty basic actually.
- 4:55It is. It is a a white sauce made by
- 4:58thickening milk with a white Roux, equal parts butter and
- 5:02flour. OK, in case anybody was
- 5:04wondering, it's true. Is there in case anybody want to
- 5:08make one of these? Right.
- 5:10Oh my gosh. OK, well, I didn't see did talk
- 5:13to you yesterday at all. Really.
- 5:15Well, maybe for about two minutes or so.
- 5:16A few. Minutes.
- 5:17We literally talked for an hour as I drove into the office.
- 5:20It felt like 2 minutes. I guess I meant I meant we
- 5:22talked on your way into work, but then after that I didn't
- 5:25really talk to you. So it's true I, well, I had to
- 5:27get you caught. Up.
- 5:28I'm alive real quick. Because I finished another book,
- 5:30so I had to give you the book before.
- 5:31The whole book, yes. Oh, I'm sorry, you tell.
- 5:33You weren't hanging on the end of your seat.
- 5:35Always. Come on.
- 5:38And then I had to tell you, we watched the Steven Spielberg
- 5:40documentary. You did tell me about.
- 5:41That so that we were talking. About the Holocaust, have you
- 5:44said this morning I said what do I want to talk about?
- 5:47And she said I am prepared to talk about the Holocaust.
- 5:51And I thought maybe no, maybe no, maybe.
- 5:53That might not be favorite topic though.
- 5:56Yeah, everybody's uplifting Saturday morning topics the.
- 5:59Holocaust. Now we have beef with Holocaust.
- 6:01We're not. We have.
- 6:03We shouldn't save that. We have major beef with the with
- 6:06the Nazis, I guess. The listeners.
- 6:08The listeners were unsure. They were, We are.
- 6:11We are not in favor. Strongly against Jesus, Do not.
- 6:17Do not, cannot recommend, wouldn't, could not say we
- 6:21should ever do again. Terrible.
- 6:22Let's avoid, let's avoid, let's avoid.
- 6:24No, well, because, because you know, and and maybe every kid
- 6:27doesn't go through this. Maybe I'm a special case.
- 6:29Maybe I'm a special strange case that I like in 7th grade when
- 6:33like you're learning about the Holocaust and and World War 2IN
- 6:36general not just though, but I was fascinated by the whole
- 6:41thing. It is it's it's a.
- 6:43Horrible like a. Train wreck.
- 6:44Horrible fascination because for most people you cannot imagine
- 6:49no the depths. Even.
- 6:50Hitting those those horrors. Yeah, I can't imagine.
- 6:54Yeah, like in the scale and and everything going on and World
- 6:57War 2 also just fascinating in general.
- 6:58Like it's insane to learn about it.
- 7:01And realize it actually happened.
- 7:02Yeah. So I, yeah, I won't, I won't go
- 7:04into it, but it was like I've at a young age, I was like, what,
- 7:0713 or something like that was like fascinating.
- 7:09Was like reading all these books and all this kind of stuff.
- 7:11So I was like, I'm prepared to discuss.
- 7:16No, we'll save that one for. Another, I would like to hope
- 7:18that our, our listeners are unified.
- 7:20They don't need us to convince them.
- 7:22You know, I don't think, I don't think this is going to be a
- 7:24persuasive discussion, but I, I think I'd like to hope that
- 7:27we're all on the same page. So, but no, but we're watching
- 7:32the Spielberg documentary and so of course it talks about he's
- 7:35made Schindler's List and he's, and also Jurassic Park in
- 7:38Indiana. Joe's and John's know that, but
- 7:39he did Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan and it put
- 7:43those two back-to-back and it's just like excellent movies.
- 7:47Rough, rough you're. Right.
- 7:49Oh my gosh. OK, well, then I didn't last.
- 7:52I wanted to call you to talk about what we wanted to chat
- 7:54about today. But you were at.
- 7:55You were out partying. I was, I was, I was out.
- 7:59You went listen to Britney was there.
- 8:01Oh, OK, OK. It was my work, a bunch of work
- 8:03people. We have gone through a merge and
- 8:07so the US we were kind of absorbed in and so we that
- 8:12company, my our original, we just kind of a last hurrah, if
- 8:16you will. That's nice.
- 8:18So it was fun night. It was fun night.
- 8:20I learned about the lame is lobsters.
- 8:23Yeah, I didn't know. Text to me out of the blue.
- 8:26Which was funny if you've never seen the Esonelska with the the
- 8:30lame lame. Is with the lobsters and she's
- 8:33like. Yes, yes, I have it's.
- 8:34Hilarious. Well, because because I'm I'm
- 8:36I'll call her listener Erica, but I don't know that she's ever
- 8:38actually listened. She was there.
- 8:41Maybe someday she's there. And like, there's just kind of
- 8:44like a pause in the conversation.
- 8:46She goes, you seem lame is. And she does that.
- 8:48I like musicals. And like, yeah, of course she
- 8:50was like, no, no, with the lobsters.
- 8:53And nothing was ever going to prepare me for that.
- 8:55What? Kind of question.
- 8:58And I was like, no. And she was like.
- 9:01No one has ever seen. That she was so upset.
- 9:04So then I texted you. I said you know what my family
- 9:06watches SNLI bet they have. And sure, shit, you guys all
- 9:10immediately responded yes, we've all seen.
- 9:12Closet didn't. It oh, it's hilarious.
- 9:14It's hilarious. Go find it on YouTube.
- 9:17It's it's hilarious. So yeah, then we're out of the
- 9:19bar. We all, we had a couple drinks.
- 9:23I stayed out a lot later than I thought I was going to.
- 9:26I thought I was like, I'll I'll leave, I'll be home by 8:00 at
- 9:29the latest. It was not.
- 9:30I was out later than that, listener.
- 9:33I was out later than that. But, but it was a good time.
- 9:37No, we were all laughing. You guys have fun.
- 9:41I have. Have you ever had a green tea
- 9:43shot? No, I had not ever had one
- 9:45before last night. It was delicious.
- 9:48Really. Yeah.
- 9:49Yeah, it was good. What's?
- 9:51Well, I pulled it up so I could tell you because I didn't know.
- 9:53So it's Irish whiskey, like a, you know, like a Jamison or
- 9:56whatever, Peach schnapps, sweet and sour mix.
- 10:00But the girl who was making things she actually uses, like,
- 10:03lemonade, almost like a fresh, like lemon kind of stuff
- 10:06instead. And then Sprite, usually lime,
- 10:09lime soda. Oh, my God.
- 10:11Delicious. That sounds great.
- 10:13It was delicious. It does sound.
- 10:15Those were great. So I had one of those last
- 10:18night. They were it was delicious.
- 10:19I was going to ask you what's your go to drink when you go
- 10:22out? You know when you go to the bar
- 10:23and you like you got to order a mixed drink or something.
- 10:25What's your? What's your?
- 10:26Honestly, it's this is tough for me because I never really know
- 10:28what to order. And we were just, it's funny
- 10:32that you say this. We were just at a concert and
- 10:34saying we wanted to drink. And so I ordered, I don't know,
- 10:38Amarillo Sour, which I really. Love, that's why I go to that's
- 10:40I love an Amarillo sour, super yummy, but I love.
- 10:44I think I'm more of a rum girl, or tequila more so than, say,
- 10:47vodka. Yeah, but because I love a good
- 10:51Margarita, like a frozen one or a daiquiri young, you know,
- 10:56delicious. But, you know, you're not always
- 10:58going to be able to order a frozen drink, you know?
- 11:00So we, we get these and they're in these tiny little cups, you
- 11:05know, and they're way overpriced, of course.
- 11:07Oh, yeah. And then we see these other
- 11:08girls and they're walking around with these bigger, much bigger
- 11:11cups. And it's like the same price.
- 11:14And we're like, it was reddish in color, pinkish.
- 11:17We're like, man, what are they drinking?
- 11:18I want that. So Sam goes to the bar and asks
- 11:20the guy, what was what's that drink?
- 11:22And he's like, oh, I don't know. It's I just call it something
- 11:25fruity. And so he made us.
- 11:27It was awesome. He made us eat one we loved.
- 11:29It so the girl's probably doing like I'm just making something.
- 11:31Pretty something fruity. So I literally think I'm like,
- 11:33you know what? That's it.
- 11:34That's my go to. Just make me something fruity.
- 11:36Like I really. Because you know, it's like a
- 11:39sex on the beach or, you know, something like that, Like that's
- 11:42just, it's just. Sam likes a mojito, I think.
- 11:44And she does. I'm not.
- 11:45I don't like a. Mojito.
- 11:46I'm not a big mojito person. But I'm like, yeah, make me
- 11:49something fruity. I'm going to be happy.
- 11:50I love we call me we call. It's not exactly a mixed drink.
- 11:54We call it angry balls, which is shot of fireball and in like an
- 11:59angry orchard or like some kind of hard cider mixed together.
- 12:02So it's like a cinnamon apple thing.
- 12:03Delish. They'll get you.
- 12:05They'll sneak up on you because every time you drink when you're
- 12:07doing a shot of fire you. Are I don't, I don't.
- 12:09I can't do the fireball. That's no for me.
- 12:12I don't, I don't have cinnamon mixed mixed in with it.
- 12:15It's fine. Yeah.
- 12:16Oh yeah, yeah, Cinnamon. Yeah, we'll do like.
- 12:21In the fall, like a warm apple cider, you know, like in the
- 12:24crock pot or whatever. And then we get the old Smokey
- 12:27salty caramel whiskey and we'll mix that together that.
- 12:31Is some serious good stuff, you know.
- 12:33They have actually. I can't believe I forgot to tell
- 12:36you this. I.
- 12:36I I do not know them because you forgot to tell.
- 12:38Me. I know old Smokey.
- 12:40You know them? I love old Smokey.
- 12:42You love old Smokey. They have they have a a thing
- 12:47going on. OK, a sweet steaks.
- 12:49Oh, oh A. Sweepstakes OK now you may have
- 12:52recently received an e-mail from All Smoking.
- 12:54I have not. Well, you should have.
- 12:56I didn't. OK, unless I win my junk.
- 12:59Maybe probably did spam or something so they have win AVIP
- 13:02trip to Nashville. Oh my gosh, we got to sign up.
- 13:05So you, I did, you did look at, look at that.
- 13:08I, I, you can earn other entries.
- 13:10I did all of these. She did.
- 13:11She has a green check. For your friends via e-mail.
- 13:14I put your e-mail in like. Went to my junk then because I
- 13:17never got it. That's.
- 13:18Hilarious. You're going to have to sign up.
- 13:19Oh my gosh, you're going to. Sign 105 winners, it says.
- 13:23I don't know what that means. 105 people could win.
- 13:26That would be amazing. But it's like they pay, they pay
- 13:29to fly you and three people to Nashville do like a tasting, all
- 13:34that kind of stuff. They all smoke fun.
- 13:36So I was like, fuck, yeah, I'm going to sign up.
- 13:37I'm like. That's a good time.
- 13:39I was on, I was on a call with the guys on Monday.
- 13:42This is how I found out about this because we're talking about
- 13:43all smoking, because usually we all have a drink or something
- 13:46like that when we're on there. You guys.
- 13:48Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And so usually I'll have a
- 13:50drink. And so I had some salty caramel
- 13:52whiskey and such and such. Good stuff.
- 13:55Pal lives in Tennessee, near Nashville, Ish.
- 13:59OK. He, I actually, I think he lives
- 14:02closer to Knoxville, where when we were because we were talking.
- 14:04About the in and out he was like.
- 14:06That's the first in and out I ever went to OH.
- 14:08You got to go and dine out. That's such good stuff.
- 14:10God damn, that was delicious. It is.
- 14:12So he's of course very familiar with the old Smokey, of course.
- 14:15And he, he goes. Can you imagine if I win this
- 14:18and they fly me from fucking Knoxville?
- 14:21That's in Nashville. Because there even an airport in
- 14:27Knoxville. That's hilarious, right?
- 14:28Exactly. So so the the well, the contest
- 14:31closes June 30th. I got to hurry up and sign up.
- 14:34I know this is my opportunity to get flown down to Nashville.
- 14:36I know, no purchase necessary. Oh, I don't even have the
- 14:39purchase, but I will, but I will.
- 14:41You know I. Will, but I will if it's from
- 14:43old Smokey. It's true.
- 14:45Oh, that's hilarious. Celebrate National Moonshine
- 14:48Week with our most exciting giveaway of the year.
- 14:52VIP trip to Nashville, Moonshine week.
- 14:54That that sounds like an amazing week.
- 14:55So yeah. So I, of course, signed up.
- 14:58OK. All right, I'll, I'll.
- 14:59So I was surprised that you do. That's what I meant to tell you.

- 15:19Feels like everybody's work. All her work people, all their
- 15:22emails are in there. Every every every work person.
- 15:29That's great. That's.
- 15:30Hilarious. I'm I'm getting to Tennessee.
- 15:36Just go. You can just go.
- 15:41There, you're killing. Me.
- 15:43Man, that's good stuff. Oh my God, that's so funny.
- 15:47Well, that's funny. You know what?
- 15:48Nobody deserves a drink more than a mom.
- 15:51It's true. I'll bring it back.
- 15:52I'll bring it back. And I can guarantee you that
- 15:54there are a lot of moms out there who.
- 15:57Not only deserve it, but need need a drink.
- 16:00I think any pregnant woman probably needs a drink, right?
- 16:03But unfortunately they can't have one.
- 16:04They hate to see it a little bit.
- 16:05Need to see it. Yeah.
- 16:06A friend of mine, we just had a baby shower for her daughter,
- 16:08and I brought her this really awesome wine that we love.
- 16:13I bought something for the baby and then something for mom.
- 16:15Right? Yeah.
- 16:16And she opened up and she was so excited because she was like,
- 16:19actually on their honeymoon, whatever, there's somebody given
- 16:22they've gotten that same and they loved it.
- 16:24And so she was like, yes, this is after the baby's born.
- 16:27So that was exciting. Yeah, I was really happy that
- 16:29she liked it. Do you know?
- 16:31Anyway, that's kind of funny. OK, so we, Ashley and I, OK at
- 16:37our when we got married, we got this like box thing and it holds
- 16:41a bottle of wine and you can put in like then we put our vows in
- 16:45there. And you are supposed to like
- 16:47write a letter, read to each other kind of like all the
- 16:48reasons why you love them. And it's like if you ever have a
- 16:51hard time in your marriage, you can crack it open.
- 16:54Had the wine read the reason and you know, and all those kind of
- 16:57stuff. The letters.
- 16:57Yeah. Now I can't.
- 16:59I don't know where it is. I'm pretty sure it's at my
- 17:01inlaws house. Luckily we've not needed it.
- 17:05OK, good. I mean, but but I was, I was
- 17:09just thinking about it the other day.
- 17:10I'm. Like I got a bottle of wine out
- 17:11there somewhere. Where is that?
- 17:15It's probably the Roscato. Oh Yum, I love that, you know
- 17:19what I mean? Yeah, I think I prefer that
- 17:20whatever the blue is that you get that white one, it's a
- 17:23white. I think I prefer it.
- 17:24I got it. I think I prefer it over the
- 17:26Roscato. It's so.
- 17:27Good, I can't remember the name of that, I'll have to post a
- 17:28picture of it. And you know, the bottle is so
- 17:30beautiful. It's like blue in it.
- 17:32Yep, it's blue with this beautiful like I guess it's a
- 17:34flower design Yeah, but the wine is not even better than the
- 17:37bottle. So it's, but it's.
- 17:38But it's like a white wine. It's not the red I feel like is
- 17:42just like it's heavy Roscato. And I'm like, I don't, I don't,
- 17:47I don't want that. I want to be weighed down by
- 17:48roscato. And if you light bubbly, I mean
- 17:51the white. OK, whatever you say.
- 17:54Yeah. So, but you know what?
- 17:56I got a Zodiac. Do you want to?

- 22:03hand and it's I think it's some kind of brand of alcohol, you
- 22:07know, so it's like it's like cruel, you know, mixed dream
- 22:12Galilee. The name of it is so good and I
- 22:15I'll have to look it up posted. Abby will say the name of it.
- 22:18Here we'll put it in. Posted at Abby here.
- 22:21The name of the book was Old Mr. Boston Deluxe, Official
- 22:25Bartender's Guide. And we'll we'll post a pic
- 22:28because we like it's. So fun, but it's all mixed
- 22:30drinks and different things. It's so fun.
- 22:33But I I'm fascinated by like the I don't have no idea how to make
- 22:36anything and I don't know any mixed drinks and so I don't.
- 22:39Usually become good at that, because then you could.
- 22:41I thought about it but it's drink.
- 22:42It's kind of expensive. It's a bit expensive.
- 22:45You're not wrong. Right, all right, here we go.
- 22:47Cancer, Cancer. You are Coconut Ginger rum.
- 22:50Fizz. Oh, interesting.
- 22:52Cancer, your sensitive crab self, likes to be safe and cozy.
- 22:55Just like the warming flavors in this cocktail.
- 22:58The coconut rum pays homage to the fact that the ocean and
- 23:01tropics are in your salt. Oh, that's, look at that.
- 23:04Oh wow, look at that. See, that's the other thing.
- 23:06Whoever did the pictures did a great.
- 23:08Job. Good job.
- 23:08Look at these flowers. Look at that, gorgeous.
- 23:10Gorgeous OK Coconut rum, fresh squeezed lime juice, low sugar
- 23:17ginger beer, dark rum and a language.
- 23:21For garnish, yeah, your dad would like.
- 23:23That he would. All right, Leo, you are spiced
- 23:27hibiscus daiquiri. Leo, you love to be in the
- 23:30spotlight. Just like this show stopping
- 23:32pink daiquiri. It's full of drama and charisma
- 23:35and sure to be the center of attention.
- 23:37It's also a bit extra, just like you look at that Here I can
- 23:40turn. This a little what is that?
- 23:42As soon as the star. It has a well, you know what?
- 23:44It has A fruit in the shape of a star.
- 23:47Has a garnish. Let's see.
- 23:48All right. A spice, rum, fresh squeezed
- 23:51fresh squeezed lime juice, hibiscus, simple syrup and a
- 23:55star fruit slice to garnish. Star fruit slice to garlic.
- 23:58Can you say that? Star fruit slice for garnish?
- 24:01For garnish. Really cute, actually.
- 24:03The star fruit on there. Yeah.
- 24:05It's in the shape of a star. Nice.
- 24:07OK, Piece of a star. OK, Virgo, you are a Rosemary
- 24:11grapefruit old. Fashioned.
- 24:13Oh, interesting. I heard of that.
- 24:14Grapefruit. I love grapefruit.
- 24:16I would. I think it tastes like the
- 24:20acidity in your mouth after you vomit it.
- 24:24Is it literally? I remember I had.
- 24:26I thought it was like the I thought it was an orange.
- 24:29It was like the biggest orange I've ever seen.
- 24:31Did. You take a big old bite out of
- 24:32it. Yep.
- 24:33Oh, it was, it was so horrible. It why literally I was like, I,
- 24:41I was at your house. Yeah, I was in your.
- 24:44I was like, oh. Dad and I both like grapefruit.
- 24:45I love. Ruby red I used to love.
- 24:47Ruby red grape. The Ruby red grape.
- 24:49Oh. I love it so much.
- 24:50Gorgeous. It's so delicious.
- 24:51But then I had to go through chemo and I can only drink
- 24:55things that were warm. Do you remember this?
- 24:57Yes. And so your dad would literally
- 24:59have to put it in the microwave and warm it up.
- 25:02And so I can never drink it again.
- 25:05For you. The Ruby red creeper juice.
- 25:08All right, Virgo, you know what? You know that beauty lies in the
- 25:11details. Just like in this very classic
- 25:14cocktail, fragrant Rosemary and bitter grapefruit echo your
- 25:18grounded personality and reinforce your ties to the
- 25:21earth. That's so.
- 25:22Interesting to me. Oh, Rosemary, look at that.
- 25:27Look at that. I'm amazed.
- 25:29Gold Rum, Rosemary, simple syrup, several pieces of
- 25:33grapefruit peel, grapefruit slice for garnish and a sprig of
- 25:36Rosemary for garnish. Wow, that's what's in it.
- 25:39Interesting. Oh, no, this one.
- 25:41Libra, you are Pineapple run Sunrise.
- 25:45That looks delicious. That looks awesome.
- 25:47I eat the shit out of that. Yeah.
- 25:48I love drink, drink. You're gonna eat the I'm gonna.
- 25:50Eat that vibe. Then I'm gonna drink the shit
- 25:52out of it, Libra. Libra, you find peace through
- 25:55balance and harmony. This chic, layered drink pays
- 25:59homage to your love of symmetry and your and to your excellent
- 26:03aesthetic tastes. Oh, that is, look at it.
- 26:05That's gonna be super yummy. All right.
- 26:10One ounce of Campari. Campari who?
- 26:12Knows. I don't know what that is,
- 26:13Campari, I guess, but some kind of some kind of who knows?
- 26:17I don't know what that is I've. Never heard of it.
- 26:18Campari Pineapple. Juice, dark rum and pineapple
- 26:22slice for garnish. So it's What the fuck is
- 26:25Campari? Look it up.
- 26:28Liqueur the red Italian bitter, it says.
- 26:33Oh, OK. What does Campari taste like?
- 26:38It tastes bitter with citrusy and spicy notes.
- 26:42So I guess mixed, you know, it's a little bitter, citrusy kind of
- 26:46thing mixed with pineapple juice and dark rum that probably is
- 26:48pretty good. Going to be great with.
- 26:50The pineapple for garnish. Look at it.
- 26:51Look at that, it looks. Amazing.
- 26:53All right, Scorpio, you are. Passion fruit Ginger rum fizz.
- 26:59Scorpio, you're known for your passion and beguiling ways.
- 27:03This zippy passion fruit and ginger cocktail pays homage to
- 27:07your mysterious, intimate, spicy personality look.
- 27:11At that I can't say. That.
- 27:14Look at that. I'm going to try all of these.
- 27:17Look at. The ice is settled at the
- 27:18bottom. I'm interested.
- 27:20That's the other thing about the like mixed drinks is like the
- 27:23chemistry, the science. True that like 'cause well, you
- 27:27can have these things and they sit on top because they're they
- 27:29don't mix. But I think that I think it's a
- 27:31fascinating all right. White rum pulp from one passion
- 27:35fruit, several pieces of crystallized ginger.
- 27:39This is really fancy. Finely diced, I know.
- 27:41Finely diced low sugar ginger beer and a sprig of mint for
- 27:45garnish. Wow, look at it.
- 27:47Look. At the sprig.
- 27:49Is this passion fruit? I guess so.
- 27:52It doesn't look advertising at all.
- 27:53No, it doesn't. It looks kind of gross.
- 27:55It looks like oh what does it look like I.
- 27:58Don't know, looks like a bunch of.
- 28:01Dark seeds. It looks like the feeling of her
- 28:03pecan pie a little bit. OK, well, I don't know what
- 28:06you're. Saying but but I would think
- 28:07you're wrong. But anyway, I'm so let.
- 28:09Down by pecan pie. I had one bite of it one time
- 28:11and I was like, oh, really good. And so then I went to, went to
- 28:15the whole childhood church picnic one year, got myself a
- 28:17slice of pecan pie. I ate 2 bites of it and I was
- 28:22like, it's too much now it's slimy and I doubt it's too much.
- 28:25And Sam was like, you moron, you fool, you know you want the
- 28:28pumpkin pie. And why would you ever get
- 28:30anything other than like I'm? Sorry, what were you thinking?
- 28:33I know I love. Pecan pies.
- 28:35All right, Sagittarius. OK, you're a cacao.
- 28:38Chai. Boozy iced coffee.
- 28:40Oh yes, bring it on. Let's see it.
- 28:42Sagittarius, you were born to explore, wander and seek
- 28:44adventure. The exotic flavors in this drink
- 28:47speak to your fiery spirit, intensity and desire to roam,
- 28:50while the coffee gives you energy.
- 28:52Perfect. It's perfect.
- 28:53Look at it. Look at that.
- 28:54Look at that. Sweet.
- 28:56Sweet. All right, You need a cold brew
- 28:59coffee, Cacao, rum, Chai, simple syrup.
- 29:05What is that? Several pieces of orange peel
- 29:07and an orange slice for garnish. Oh man.
- 29:09I wouldn't try that for sure. That's amazing.
- 29:11I feel like this is going to be the easiest one I think I could
- 29:13put together. I think I could get I could get
- 29:15coffee. Sure.
- 29:16Rum, simple syrup and an orange. I don't care if he even has an
- 29:20orange. Peel.
- 29:20Exactly, Exactly. I could I could put that
- 29:22together. I could put that one together.
- 29:23That's worth a try. All right, All right, Capricorn,
- 29:29I have a ginger coffee martini. Oh wow.
- 29:32I'm I don't, I don't know that I've I've never had a martini,
- 29:36but I have I have read what is in a martini and I don't think I
- 29:40would enjoy it. There are, there's this martini
- 29:42bar over in, in Saint Louis somewhere and we went one time
- 29:45with some friends and I got one that was like a thin Mint type.
- 29:50Oh, like a Andy's mint type chocolate.
- 29:52Oh, and mint. And it was a very.
- 29:54Good, but that is. But it was very strong.
- 29:56Well, I've heard that. Yeah.
- 29:58And so, yeah, martinis just kind of knocked me on my butt.
- 30:00But, and there aren't they vodka?
- 30:01Based. We'll, we'll find out.
- 30:04That's fine. OK.
- 30:06Capricorn, you work so hard at achieving your goals.
- 30:09Unwind at the end of a long day with a simple dessert drink
- 30:12featuring soothing ginger. OK.
- 30:14Honestly. You know what?
- 30:15They know me. Yeah.
- 30:16Look at that. They're true.
- 30:17It's true. I worked hard today.
- 30:20What is the cheapest strongest thing you have?
- 30:23Right, right. All right.
- 30:25Coffee, rum, simple ginger, simple syrup, ginger slice for
- 30:30garnish and piece of crystallized ginger for garnish.
- 30:35So it's just coffee, rum basically, and syrup.
- 30:38Wow, that's going to be. Strong that is going to knock me
- 30:41on my ass. This the picture of it.
- 30:43This is just. It is just.
- 30:44You will not just unwind black, you will.
- 30:46The dark brown unravel I I assume that it's coffee flavored
- 30:51and there's no actual coffee. You know what I mean?
- 30:54Because Can you imagine it's an upper and a downer roll at the
- 30:56same time all together? Yeah.
- 30:59I once I had AI won't name this person because I think they
- 31:02listen to the podcast sometimes. We went to a bar down at
- 31:06Carbondale, OK, and they had a special on, I forget.
- 31:11It was like Thursday nights or whatever, and they were $5
- 31:13pictures. Oh yes.
- 31:15Now the picture was like those little short squat things that
- 31:18you get like the the homecoming, you know, the town homecoming
- 31:21and stuff, $5 whatever you wanted.
- 31:24OK, picture. OK so I course 5 dollars $5 slap
- 31:30that sucker down. Pinch your amoritus sour.
- 31:32Oh my God. Boom.
- 31:33Anything that's. Whatever anything you want to.
- 31:35If you want to just straight vodka.
- 31:37Technically, Oh my. God, technically, you can have
- 31:40that. You can have it.
- 31:41OK, Now this person I know $5 Red Bull and vodka.
- 31:47Oh, I can't even I, I, I think this person got halfway through.
- 31:52Then I drink the other half because I'm the trash can of
- 31:54alcohol. Drink whatever.
- 31:55Yeah, it was not good. It sounds terrible, like it
- 31:59doesn't even sound like it'll, but it's.
- 32:01Good energy drink and vodka. 1 is a strong upper, 1 is a
- 32:04strong. Downer it was going to I looked
- 32:06it up. Typically a martini is made with
- 32:08gin and dry vermouth. But can you can replace vodka
- 32:12and do a vodka martini? I think that's how I don't like
- 32:14Martini. This is a rum, I guess martini
- 32:16because this is just rum and syrup.
- 32:18So I guess you could just make it with whatever.
- 32:19You want and call it a martini as long as you put in one of
- 32:22these glasses. You put in the fancy glass, It's
- 32:24a martini, OK? Aquarius Aquarius, you're a
- 32:28coconut citrus rum punch. Perfect.
- 32:31Rum Rum punch. What is that?
- 32:35From that's, that's Mary Poppins.
- 32:37Mary Poppins. That's what her fucking medicine
- 32:40tastes like. You're right.
- 32:41She was a boozy bitch. She was no man.
- 32:47She got me on that. One well, cuz.
- 32:48Cuz we're in the the very secret side of your regular irregular,
- 32:53we can't say it. Irregular witches.
- 32:55Irregular witches. Yeah.
- 32:57And that's the one that she goes It's, it's kind of like
- 33:00cerulean. See, she goes and there's the
- 33:02the kids that are there. Magical.
- 33:05Powers. Right.
- 33:05They have magical powers and they're all orphans and and
- 33:09such. And she's there to like, teach
- 33:12the magic. And she pulls out of the car
- 33:15like all of her stuff. And she pulls like an entire koi
- 33:18pond. She.
- 33:18Has like a. Little VW bug or something,
- 33:21right? A little tiny car, Yeah, she.
- 33:23Pulls that? Yeah, pulls out an entire koi
- 33:25pond. Whole koi pond.
- 33:26Greenhouse Dog. Yeah, all all this stuff comes
- 33:29out and the, and the little girl's like 7.
- 33:31She's like, that was some serious, very popping shit right
- 33:34there. She did.
- 33:36I was so good I had to pause. I left my ass off.
- 33:39Though I left my ass off. OK, Yeah.
- 33:41Rum punch. OK, here we go.
- 33:43Aquarius, you're open minded and eccentric, a bit of a rebel at
- 33:46heart. This is that's Olivia to a team
- 33:48that was. This is the most Olivia sentence
- 33:50I've ever read in my life. Yeah, this unconventional
- 33:53citrusy rum punch celebrates your free spirit.
- 33:57This looks oh so yummy. Look at that.
- 34:00Want one right now? We're going to.
- 34:02We're going to go. We're going to go, you and I,
- 34:06before Mother's Day. I will buy for you and you will.
- 34:08And then we'll give it at your house.
- 34:10OK? We'll get you a little mixed
- 34:12drink thing, and then we'll make these drinks.
- 34:13Mixed drinks. That's what we'll do for
- 34:15Mother's Day. All right.
- 34:16Coconut rum, orange juice, grapefruit juice, fresh squeezed
- 34:22lime juice, dark rum and assorted citrus slices for
- 34:26garnish. Yum.
- 34:27That's grapefruit, orange and lime.
- 34:30I think you would like that. Yeah, yeah.
- 34:33Sounds amazing. That's pretty good.
- 34:36One more. Pisces.
- 34:37Last but not least, Pisces, you're a tropical ocean mojito.
- 34:40OK Pisces, the ocean is in your soul.
- 34:44The This mojito is a bit whimsical and plays to your
- 34:47emotional, sensitive nature while also honoring your
- 34:50intimate connection with the sea.
- 34:52Oh, look at it. Beautiful.
- 34:54What are those? Are those just gems?
- 34:56What is what they put in there? It's.
- 34:57Probably ice. Let's find out.
- 35:02A pinch of blue. Spirulina.
- 35:05Spirulina. What in the world?
- 35:07What? The fuck is it?
- 35:09I don't. Know oh blue-green algae that's
- 35:13packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants of protein?
- 35:16It's a super food. It's a powder.
- 35:18What? OK, you're going to put put a
- 35:20pinch of. That it's algae.
- 35:21Pinch of algae. Pinch of algae, but it's got to
- 35:22be blue. A bar spoon of hot water.
- 35:25OK. Well, you got to, you got to
- 35:27dissolve the powder, I guess. I guess OK. 10 specifically.
- 35:34Specifically 1010 fresh mint leaves.
- 35:36Wow, several cubes of raw sugar that brown sugar were talking
- 35:40earlier. Coconut rum.
- 35:43It's fresh squeezed lime juice, club soda to top and the sprig
- 35:47of mint. For garnish, very interesting
- 35:49looking and sounding and you're getting some algae.
- 35:52Look at that. Look at that and it's good for
- 35:54you, no. Well, I don't think that'd go
- 35:57that. Far call the algae stuff a
- 35:58superfood. Ingredient Note Blue spirulina
- 36:02is an edible type of algae with a bright blue color and
- 36:05virtually no taste. Has many health benefits.
- 36:08You can find it at specialty food stores or online.
- 36:11It dissolves best in hot water, so dissolving first will be more
- 36:14successful than adding it to a cocktail in its powdered form.
- 36:17Cheers cheers. Thank you.
- 36:21The rogue Brussels sprout. That was excellent.
- 36:24Now we're going to go learn how to do some mixed drinks.
- 36:26This is going to be. Taste some of.
- 36:28Those remember when I was like, oh, these are going to be my,
- 36:30these are my like goals for 2025.
- 36:33I don't think I've done a single one of them, but I I'll learn
- 36:37how to make a mixed drink. We'll do that.
- 36:39Absolutely, absolutely should learn how to make at least one
- 36:42right. I I mean.
- 36:44Certainly, hopefully one that I like and then and as long as you
- 36:48know how to make. Wine.
- 36:49I need to learn how to make an amorita sour.
- 36:50That's what I want to know, because that's what I want to.
- 36:52Drink OK then. All right, sometimes when I'm at
- 36:56home, if I have some coconut rum and I've got some juice and I'll
- 36:59just make my own, I'll just make my own caution again.
- 37:02Again, as long as it's something fruity, I'm happy.
- 37:04It's true. It's yummy so.
- 37:07Yeah. Oh, man.
- 37:09All right. Well, moms, well, moms, go out,
- 37:14have a drink. Have a drink if you can.
- 37:17I hope. You hope.
- 37:17Everybody listening had a great Mother's Day.
- 37:20Whether you're a mom of human babies, fur babies, if you've
- 37:26had to take your dad to the to the doctor, you've done some
- 37:30nurturing in your life. Happy Mother's Day to.
- 37:32Everybody right if you're a mother fucker.
- 37:33Jesus. Christ, where did I go wrong,
- 37:37Listener? Where?
- 37:38Did I go wrong? Well, there's still some time.
- 37:40OK, I I actually wrote down some funny stories.
- 37:42I think we were, yeah. We kind of discussed some funny
- 37:45mom stories. I thought I might tell, I might
- 37:48tell all the podcasts, tell the listeners.
- 37:50My my mom is my mom's pretty funny.
- 37:57We for some reason we were talking about this.
- 37:59My nephew's from Minnesota, call her mean grandma.
- 38:02Yes. And we think it stems from my
- 38:05mom really, really likes to play games.
- 38:07Yes, we we like to play games. So it works out perfectly.
- 38:10Play a lot of games. And but my mom has never been
- 38:12the kind of person that will let you win.
- 38:14No, you're never. She's going to.
- 38:16Never let you win. Yeah, you play to win, you know.
- 38:20You play to win the game, no? She's not harsh or anything but
- 38:23she was never going to let as even as as a kid.
- 38:25But if we're playing, sorry, she's taking you out.
- 38:28Yeah, she's going to take you. Especially now we're all adults
- 38:30too. It's like she'll literally look
- 38:32you in the. Face and be like die die.
- 38:36So she'll look in the face, die. We play, she loves to play Pass
- 38:40the Trash and the the iconic line from Pass the Trash was she
- 38:44told us, I do not like to sit out.
- 38:47My mom wants to play the game, you know, so, so yeah, my
- 38:51nephews call her mean grandma, which is hilarious, but she's
- 38:53really not. She's very, very not.
- 38:55She loves her grandkids so. Yeah.
- 38:57Yeah, the the my favorite story when she used to when they first
- 39:04got AVCR, a classic. She learned how to record things
- 39:08that were on TV. Yes.
- 39:10OK. And so she she'd set it up and
- 39:12set the recording time and she'd.
- 39:14Have it was awesome. You can DDR in there.
- 39:16Yeah. And you could record when I just
- 39:17DVR it. Yeah.
- 39:19And my dad wanted her to record something for him that was going
- 39:22to be on. And for some reason he turned it
- 39:26off. She had it all set up to record
- 39:29and he had turned it off. And she discovered it and said,
- 39:32who turned this off? My own?
- 39:36My entire. I think most of us were over.
- 39:38There for some occasion you know whether it was a birthday party
- 39:41or whatever and she's. Yelling Who turned this off?
- 39:44And my dad's like, well, I turned it off.
- 39:48And she says to him, well, you just screwed yourself again.
- 39:54You just screwed. Yourself again, Tom and my
- 39:58brothers and I, we look each other, and we our.
- 40:00Eyes are like real big and like oh shit.
- 40:04And we're trying not to laugh, but it's hilarious and.
- 40:07He's in deep shit, he's in so much trouble.
- 40:10So he just goes on this rant. I had to set up to record for
- 40:15you. And then it's the second time
- 40:16you've turned it off, like gets him out and he's like.
- 40:21And we are. Just trying so hard not to laugh
- 40:24and finally she gets there with a rant and she like goes
- 40:27somewhere, like walks away, whatever.
- 40:29And then we all. Just yeah.
- 40:32We all just looted, so that is kind of a line that we say to my
- 40:35family all the time. You just screwed.
- 40:36Yourself again. It wasn't just you just screwed
- 40:38up, it was again the fact that he had done it.
- 40:42Multiple times we lost our shit. Oh my God.
- 40:45So that is good. So that was pretty funny.
- 40:48That's really good. Oh man.
- 40:50You just screwed yourself again. Again.
- 40:52Yeah, So holy shit. I I have I have a thing with.
- 40:57For some reason I really have a a struggle to to find my words.
- 41:03I know, especially when. She knows.
- 41:06She knows how you. Lately I've been combining 2
- 41:09words to make a new. Word.
- 41:11That's a new thing that I know happening.
- 41:12Because they're, I think of the most recent episode you, you
- 41:15said something, you combined something together.
- 41:17You're like, cut that out. And I go, that's dated.
- 41:19You're like, please, It's it's dated.
- 41:21Listener No. It's a new, it's a new word that
- 41:23I've made-up. I, I have trouble with this and
- 41:27I wrote this down because this was kind of funny.
- 41:29So you know how your phone screen, you can make it brighter
- 41:32or darker? Yeah.
- 41:34And I, I saw this funny thing that a dude was it was a comedy
- 41:38stand up. And he said basically his mom
- 41:43had called him and said my phone.
- 41:45I, I, I don't know what happened.
- 41:47I think I've, I think I've discovered the dark web.
- 41:50He said what? What are you talking about?
- 41:53He's like. My phone went black.
- 41:55I can't get I can't get out of it.
- 41:56I can't see anything. I.
- 41:58Think I'm on the dark web. I don't know what to do and.
- 42:03Let's. He's like, you just need to turn
- 42:08up the brightness on your home. You're not on the dark web, so.
- 42:16That was pretty funny because then it it reminded me of this
- 42:19time that we were going through the McDonald's.
- 42:21Drive. It's really good and funny this.
- 42:24More this more little lady thought she was it, stumbled
- 42:26onto the dark. We're going through the
- 42:28McDonald's drive through and I have the app on my phone so I
- 42:30can give get a code to get, you know, whatever you get a little
- 42:33cheaper, a little discount. Yeah, and I'm trying to get the
- 42:37code to pull up. And you know how?
- 42:38Your dad is in the drive through.
- 42:40He's terrible. You should never let your never
- 42:41let your dad go to the drive through.
- 42:42For one, he doesn't stop and give the order.
- 42:45He inches along the whole time he's ordering.
- 42:47What, what? On the brake way?
- 42:48So we're like jerk. All the way, jerk, jerk, jerk,
- 42:51jerk, jerk, all the way. I know.
- 42:52Finally, we literally now if he is in the drive through and if
- 42:54he's in the driver's seat, we literally say just stop.
- 42:56Put it in part. Put it in part.
- 42:57Like he won't just stop. I, I think he thinks that he's
- 43:00just going to order very quickly and then move on.
- 43:03But you're ordering if you're ordering for more than one
- 43:04person or if you're ordering more than just like a drink.
- 43:07Honestly, that's not going to happen exactly because first of
- 43:09all, they're going to ask you a million questions.
- 43:10You're going to use the app, what's your code?
- 43:12You're going to round up, you know, you're not going to just
- 43:14move on quickly. Do you know, we were on the time
- 43:16we went to the Taco Bell and he was like, I'm like, you would
- 43:19pull. Up roll my window down.
- 43:20And pull. Pull around.
- 43:23Let's go. We pulled up so that you're with
- 43:25the passenger seat behind him. Was by the speaker you ordered.
- 43:28Yeah. Because he can't handle it.
- 43:29He's terrible. It was.
- 43:30Perfect. Yeah, I'm trying to.
- 43:32I'm trying to give him a code. He's freaking out.
- 43:34Well it's it's my turn, I need the code.
- 43:36I said I can't get it. My screen went dark.
- 43:38I'm trying to make it loud. That's what I said I.
- 43:42Tried to make my screen loud. I meant.
- 43:45Bright, I said loud. And so of course, we.
- 43:48You were on the dark. Web.
- 43:49I was on the dark web, so now I laugh because I think I'm on the
- 43:52dark web and my screen goes dark.
- 43:54Do you have this issue with Wayne?
- 43:57Maybe not. He's usually immediately asleep
- 43:58as soon as he gets in bed. OK, yeah, yeah, he goes right.
- 44:02We're we're getting me and Ash. We're going to go to bed, right?
- 44:04OK, we're in bed. I'm on my phone.
- 44:06I turn my brightness all the way down because it's light.
- 44:08The lights are off. Yes.
- 44:10You know it's dark over here. Ashley's phone is powered by the
- 44:14fucking sun. Apparently that's my phone.
- 44:17I'm like, that's like, can you turn the brightness down on your
- 44:20phone? When you get old and your
- 44:24eyeballs don't work anymore and you have to have light in order
- 44:26to see your light looks like your phone is very bright, then
- 44:30God bless. Yes.
- 44:33Another story I will tell you. This is something that you said
- 44:35to me. I was, I was feeling very salty
- 44:37one day at work and I said, I'm not checking my emails.
- 44:40Everybody's going to get in line.
- 44:41I'm doing my stuff 1st and then I had a doctor appointment.
- 44:43I said and I'm going to the doctor 1:00 and then I'm not.
- 44:45Coming back and you said to. Me.
- 44:49Why are they going to put you down?
- 44:52That's what you said to me. They're going to put you down.
- 44:55I made the mistake of taking a drink right at that moment, so
- 44:58of course I. Spew my drink everywhere I.
- 45:03Was like, what? Why are they going to put you
- 45:05down and I'm not coming back? I'm.
- 45:07Coming back. What in The Who says that to
- 45:12their mother? Who says that?
- 45:15Someone with a very funny daughter.
- 45:16I can tell you I've never said that to my mother, ever.
- 45:20Now one time I did get in trouble because I was down in
- 45:22the basement and I was playing all by myself.
- 45:24I don't know where my rest of my siblings were, but I was playing
- 45:26all by myself and I was in kindergarten and I had heard the
- 45:32word swear. And so I was downstairs.
- 45:35I swear, I swear. And my mom is at the comes to
- 45:39the top steps because she heard me.
- 45:40And she says, don't say that word we don't say.
- 45:43I swear. I don't know why she didn't want
- 45:44me to say that. Yes.
- 45:46And I was just like, I'm sure I did the massive eye roll because
- 45:49I was sassy. And you were out of sight.
- 45:51And I was out. Of sight you couldn't see me and
- 45:54I just just like okay and she walked away and I said it again
- 45:57of course I swear I. Swear she goes back and she's
- 46:00like. Anna, I told you we're not going
- 46:03to see you say that word, OK? And I thought she had walked
- 46:07away and I was downstairs and said I don't know who she thinks
- 46:10she is. And my mom was still at the top
- 46:16of the set. She heard that too.
- 46:18She goes, she thinks. She's your mother and you get
- 46:21upstairs right now. So I had to go upstairs and get
- 46:24punished. I don't know what she thinks.
- 46:26She's her mother. Thanks to her mother.
- 46:28Get up here. She gotta go sit and die, ma.
- 46:30It's a nice sassy ma. And there's a you would
- 46:36probably, you'd probably just heard that phrase as well.
- 46:39Didn't really even know what I meant.
- 46:41I don't know she. Probably said that about me.
- 46:47But it's one of the things the. Things that we hear from our
- 46:49mothers that we say, because you were playing in your little
- 46:53kitchen set when you were little and you put your Dolly in the
- 46:56high chair and you looked right at your Dolly and you said,
- 46:59don't you move from that spot? It was I'm like I was told for
- 47:05many times. I was living all the time.
- 47:07I thought he was like, oh, oh boy.
- 47:08I say that to her a lot. Don't you move from that.
- 47:13Spot Now you were lucky your doll was not going to move.
- 47:16Because I don't remember you. Because what?
- 47:18Growing up we had the, the, the, the house phone was not
- 47:22cordless, right? Still had the cord.
- 47:25And I remember you when you were young, or at least I thought I
- 47:28thought that you had gone you had to get the extended cord,
- 47:31the longer cord, right, because, because the other cord I could
- 47:36be out of reach too easily. And so you had the Super long
- 47:39cord so you could chase me down. Yes, the minute.
- 47:42I got on the phone. Abby knew that she could get
- 47:45into all kinds of mischief. Yes.
- 47:47There is a radius that I could not be within, but otherwise all
- 47:50that's wrong. And then when we got the
- 47:52cordless phone, she knew she was in trouble.
- 47:54Well, I was like you got the extendo cord.
- 47:55I did get the jumbo long cord so I could grab your little ass.
- 47:59Yeah. She's last.
- 48:00Suing me. Blast.
- 48:02Yeah, swinging the door to the airfare catcher.
- 48:05Oh my gosh. She's she's, she's throwing the
- 48:08she's tying up like a calf. Oh my gosh.
- 48:11Yeah. Then we finally thank God for
- 48:13cordless phones, because I tell you what, I was in trouble with
- 48:16you. By that time, I by the time we
- 48:18got a cordless phone, Anna. You were old enough to know
- 48:21better. Exactly.
- 48:22I still. Needed to be subtle.
- 48:23I still needed to chase you now, though.
- 48:25That's true. Oh, my gosh.
- 48:28The other story I was going to. I was going to tell a story
- 48:29about your grandma or your dad's mom.
- 48:31Yeah. I don't think I know what the.
- 48:32Story is, oh, boy, the story is very funny.
- 48:35When Abby was in high school, she played softball.
- 48:39Played softball your whole life? Probably, yeah.
- 48:41Well, I was, for context, I was going, I was a freshman because,
- 48:46and I had gone to Catholic school up to that point.
- 48:48There's only 23 kids in my class.
- 48:49And now I'm going to public school, right?
- 48:51And so there's like 250 kids in my class now, and I didn't know
- 48:55most of them, obviously, right, You know, but I've been down the
- 48:58sun. Play ball, playing ball.
- 49:01So I'm super. Tan And you go into high school
- 49:03playing sports. So you're meeting, you are
- 49:05meeting people. Well, yeah, I'm just in class.
- 49:07In class. But I'm super tan.
- 49:09I have the extremely curly hair. Super curly hair and she was
- 49:12very tan, yes. And I had so many kids ask me,
- 49:17are you mixed? Are you mixed?
- 49:18Yeah, You know, And I like, you know, And I was like, no, like.
- 49:22And I was like, I don't care. I don't know.
- 49:24But my parents are very white. Yeah, my parents are very.
- 49:26I was like, my parents are very white.
- 49:28You. Know it was funny when I was
- 49:29when I was in grade school also spent every day in the sun all
- 49:33summer long at the pool. And I also have the curly hair
- 49:37which you wouldn't know because I flat iron into submission
- 49:39every day. But I do have the curly hair
- 49:41comes from from from me and the French.
- 49:43Apparently it is they give us nothing.
- 49:46The Algerian French is what my dad says anyway.
- 49:50So I would get asked the same thing, yeah, if I was mixed
- 49:54because I would be very tanned. But then my then my one friend,
- 49:56I'd met her for the first time in 6th grade, She thought I was
- 49:58struck full on black, which is whatever, you know, who cares?
- 50:02But then my tan started fading. Full on black is that I don't.
- 50:05Know if that's a terrible thing to say, but she thought she
- 50:06thought I was. And then my tan fades, you know,
- 50:10months into the school year and she's like, oh, you're.
- 50:13And she looks at me and goes, you're white.
- 50:16Well, yeah, you know, I mean, she's like, she's like, you're
- 50:19so tan, I thought. You were black.
- 50:21And then the girl here, I was like, oh.
- 50:23OK, she never said anything to me.
- 50:24So like then when the when she realized I wasn't black.
- 50:27So that was kind of funny. But so you, you keep you.
- 50:29Are asked several times yeah, that if you were mixed and and.
- 50:35Well, it was just kind of like a funny.
- 50:37It was just funny. It was funny because not because
- 50:40I was being asked, but because of how I was asked like every
- 50:43day for the first like 2 months of school.
- 50:46I was asked so many times and so it was to me.
- 50:49It was just funny how often I was getting asked and.
- 50:51We thought it was funny. Yeah.
- 50:53We didn't care. We thought it was hilarious.
- 50:54Yeah. And so.
- 50:56But your you know, your grandparents are are a different
- 50:58generation, you know, but. That's putting it so nicely.
- 51:01Trying to put it nicely. We, we, we were over there at
- 51:03one point. I remember your dad saying, oh,
- 51:05yeah, all the kids at every school think she's mixed.
- 51:06Ha, ha, ha, yeah, We laugh. We ha, ha, ha.
- 51:08Yeah. And, and apparently we heard
- 51:11this story later from your aunt, who's Sherry, who's married to
- 51:15your dad's brother. And she tells us that grandma
- 51:18was on the phone with her one day, crying.
- 51:20Breaks down, just breaks. Down.
- 51:22Breaks. Down crying, breaks down crying
- 51:23and says, do you know what they say about Abby at school?
- 51:29And Sherry's like, no, what she's going to be, this is going
- 51:32to be something terrible. Oh my God, and.
- 51:33She's like and grandma's crying, so she's like.
- 51:35She can't quite get it out. They say she's by.
- 51:38They say she's. Bye.
- 51:40And she can't get it out. So Sharon fills in the blank.
- 51:43Bisexual. I don't think I can even say the
- 51:51word sexual to my any of my mom. Oh my God.
- 51:55Hey girl, goes. No, they say she's biracial.
- 52:03It's. Still the funniest stories ever
- 52:05in my life. She well, well, she's not.
- 52:11So what does it? Matter like, like it would
- 52:13matter either way, but she's not.
- 52:16She's like, well, she's not so. Why do you care?
- 52:20It's not like a slur. It's not like somebody's like
- 52:23I'm not no one's. I'm not being made fun of.
- 52:26No, I'm like nothing. It was.
- 52:27It's literally just are you mixed?
- 52:29No, I'm not. OK, like the whole conversation
- 52:33she's like they're not making fun of her.
- 52:34They're not they're not excluding her from me.
- 52:36God bless. Just a question.
- 52:39Oh my God, we laughed so hard. That was so funny that we
- 52:42laughed. But you know the priorities are
- 52:44were different for. The priorities were very.
- 52:47Different. I guess so, but oh man.
- 52:51That was that. That story does not probably
- 52:52color my grandma in the best life.
- 52:55No. But I mean, you know, it all
- 52:57depends on how you've been raised.
- 52:58They've come a long way, OK? Got Eddie Bort.
- 53:03Got any more stories? I have one more story that I was
- 53:05going to tell about. You because you have you have
- 53:08fur babies. Yeah.
- 53:09And you were taking Dipper and Sully to daycare, to doggy
- 53:14daycare, and you couldn't go in right away because other people
- 53:20were taking their dogs and you can't all go in at the same
- 53:22time. And the dogs all freak out.
- 53:23And Dipper was especially whining.
- 53:26He. Loves the daycare.
- 53:28Yeah, he knows exactly when you're at daycare.
- 53:29And then he cries. He's a high speed cobar in the
- 53:32backseat. He's like, let me out.
- 53:36Let me out. I want to go to daycare.
- 53:37So they are crying and whining. Sully joins in because Deborah
- 53:41is crying and they want to get out of the car and go into
- 53:43daycare very badly. And I'm on the phone with Abby
- 53:46while she's waiting to go into the daycare.
- 53:49And the sentence is, is is a sentence that all mothers have
- 53:54felt in their heart around the world.
- 53:57I feel like, OK, Abby says. The worst part about this is I
- 54:01have to be in the car with them and.
- 54:06I thought the worst part of that, the worst part about him
- 54:08crying like this, is that I had to be in the car with him.
- 54:12I was like all mothers of the world feel you right now, Abby.
- 54:17We we understand and feel your pain.
- 54:19It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't in the car.
- 54:23I've. We've all had to be in the car
- 54:25with. Our children many times what we
- 54:28haven't wanted to be No I. Will I will say.
- 54:31You were terrible in the car. Your sister's not so bad.
- 54:36You hated being confined. So I was bored.
- 54:39Well, no. Even as an infant strapped me in
- 54:41the car seat and you scream the entire time.
- 54:43Let me free. I was like, all babies fall
- 54:46asleep in the car. Not Abby.
- 54:50Sam and Liv fell asleep. It was fine.
- 54:51But not you. You scream the entire time.
- 54:53Once you finally could get out of the car seat, then you were
- 54:56better. But you had to antagonize your
- 54:58sisters. So we're going on a road trip to
- 55:02Florida, I think, OK. And you are.
- 55:05You have the whole entire backseat of the van to yourself.
- 55:09Liv is sitting in her little car seat.
- 55:10She's got a cup of milk in a buddy in a movie she's set.
- 55:13She's content. Not a word out.
- 55:15Peep out of her. I think all the way to Florida,
- 55:18Sam is bitching and moaning and whining because Abby won't leave
- 55:23her alone. Abby's got antagonized.
- 55:27At one point, finally, Sam snapped and.
- 55:29Said Mom. Abby's looking out my window.
- 55:35I was like. And I'm, I'm like, done.
- 55:38I'm so angry. I'm ready to, I'm ready to beat
- 55:41the both of you. Sam was not all innocent in all
- 55:43of this either. And I was like, I'm literally so
- 55:47frazzled and I'm screaming. Oh, Windows or?
- 55:50Community windows screaming in the car no one owns anyone owns.
- 55:59Screaming in the van and you kept picking each other and
- 56:03finally I said because dad was driving, dad was driving, I was
- 56:08navigating. This is the days of a map, you
- 56:10know it's. Like I live with.
- 56:12Two, I am. I finally scream and yell.
- 56:18Pull. Over and.
- 56:20Mike. Says why I said just pull.
- 56:23Over. He's like, why?
- 56:24I can't just pull over? We're caravaning.
- 56:26With your brother, your brother and his parents.
- 56:28And he goes. Why does it?
- 56:30Because I'm going to beat their fucking asses.
- 56:32And I actually dropped that bomb.
- 56:34I was so angry. And we were like, and we did not
- 56:38pull over, but he. Was like, I'm not pulling over.
- 56:41But you guys, there was not another peep till we got to
- 56:44Florida. That was it.
- 56:49Asses. I had lost my shit.
- 56:51No asses were beat. No asses were beat.
- 56:54We will. Clarify.
- 56:55I didn't have to do another thing because they knew I had
- 56:58reached my absolute limit and I was done.
- 57:02And then they shut the hell up and we got, we got the floor and
- 57:05we made it so. We made it.
- 57:07I feel your pain about having to be in the car.
- 57:12So yeah, we should have put all the kids in Grandma Grandpa's
- 57:15car and that would have solved the problem, but I don't think.
- 57:18Grandpa and Grandpa would have gone for that.
- 57:20No, they wouldn't have. It would have been a little bit
- 57:21too much. So we should have just put you
- 57:24and. Grandpa and grandpa's car.
- 57:26That's fine. But you wanted grandma anyway.
- 57:28You were grandma's girl. So anyway.
- 57:32Oh, OK. That was funny.
- 57:34Golly, I haven't thought about that in a long time.
- 57:36It's a good one. My, my, my pen died on me.
- 57:38Oh, was it like Mike Christie Yumble?
- 57:40Did I tell all my stories? No, I'm OK.
- 57:42I got it. Well, you know Christie
- 57:44Yamaguchi has crackerback because we were at the Barneys
- 57:46and Nobles with you and Olivia. We were at the Barneys and
- 57:48Nobles. It is Barnes and Noble in case
- 57:50you're wanting, but Lily called the Barneys and Nobles when she
- 57:52was little and we. Thought that was funny.
- 57:53So they got the like toy section in the back or whatever they do
- 57:56and we were, I don't know, we were just back there for
- 57:58whatever reason. And nobody goes.
- 58:02Or maybe it was you it. Was No, it was Liv.
- 58:03She. Pulls off the Barbie.
- 58:05Off the shell. And goes.
- 58:07Chrissy. Yavaguchi and it was it.
- 58:09Was and we all look at you and go, Chrissy have a Gucci have.
- 58:14You don't know what we're talking about.
- 58:15Just go get yourself a Sharpie S Gel .7 pen and you'll know.
- 58:21You'll know 'cause it glides across neighbor like Christie
- 58:25Yavaguchi is to glide across. Ice.
- 58:28That's what we say. I call it that at work now, the
- 58:31Christie Yamaguchi. Yeah, I know.
- 58:33I'm in the loan meeting and I'm like, I was like, I think when
- 58:36somebody offered me a pen because I couldn't find my head
- 58:38in my purse. I said no, no, I've got my
- 58:40Christie Yamaguchi here. And they look at me like what
- 58:42I've. Got my Christie Yamaguchi.
- 58:46Holy shit. Oh, that's funny.
- 58:48All right. Well, you got anything else or
- 58:50we covered it all? Well, I've read another funny
- 58:52story that I'll tell you about in World News.
- 58:56We have a new Pope. I didn't vote for him.
- 59:00Well, none of us. Did you'd have to be a cardinal
- 59:07and a man? So none of us, none of us get to
- 59:10get. To a Cardinals fan, you almost.
- 59:13Did, but not a man anyway, so it was actually quite fast.
- 59:20I thought Pope Francis was pretty good dude like that.
- 59:24He's not super conservative, tried to take us forward and
- 59:27definitely man of the people. I thought that was awesome.
- 59:31So I was hoping they would like someone who would continue that.
- 59:34Yeah, I think they have. But the Pope had passed away and
- 59:39I read this, read this. Somebody posted the story about
- 59:42their mom had text him and said you should show some respect and
- 59:47watch the Pope's funeral. It's going to be televised.
- 59:50And the girl said, well, mom, it's going to be on at like 3:00
- 59:52AM here. Yeah.
- 59:54And she said don't give me that shit.
- 59:55I know you get up at 3:00 AM to watch K Pop concert.
- 59:59And she said that's a fairpoint. I have no.
- 1:00:04I have no argument that's true. That has happened.
- 1:00:06I was like, we've actually done that.
- 1:00:07You've done that. So I know, I know it's true.
- 1:00:10So I thought that was pretty funny.
- 1:00:12But anyway, that shit. Right, Give me that shit.
- 1:00:14I know you get up. 3K pop concert.
- 1:00:16And I was like so. Funny.
- 1:00:17Like damn, she got her. She got her.
- 1:00:19Said the rights. There's nothing she could say,
- 1:00:21no argument, because she she's done it.
- 1:00:23I've done it. Yeah.
- 1:00:24So that was pretty funny. But anyway, so here's to the new
- 1:00:28Pope. Hope he's a good dude.
- 1:00:29And he's from. He's from America.
- 1:00:31The memes are hysterical. He's from.
- 1:00:32Chicago. He's not just from America, he's
- 1:00:34from Chicago. And of course, the Americans are
- 1:00:36jumping on that bandwagon. Yeah, it's from the greatest
- 1:00:39country. Really.
- 1:00:39OK, but there's all these memes out now of him in like a Bears
- 1:00:48jerseys and they've they found a picture of him at a White Sox
- 1:00:51game because the Cubs and the White Sox are trying to claim
- 1:00:53him as a fan. And so his fan was like, Oh no,
- 1:00:55he's a White Sox fan. It's hilarious already.
- 1:00:59The just the the amount of stuff they've interviewed.
- 1:01:02You still have family in Chicago.
- 1:01:03And so they've been interviewing them and they're just like, I
- 1:01:05never think. And they were just like, they're
- 1:01:08just kind of blown away that he's the Pope.
- 1:01:11Is it the first American Pope? Yeah.
- 1:01:13Because they said there would never be a Pope for America.
- 1:01:15That's like this thing about like, you would never, never be
- 1:01:18a Pope for America. Well, so.
- 1:01:19But he's spent a lot of time in, I want to say Peru as a
- 1:01:24missionary. But yeah, born and raised, I
- 1:01:27think, like you said, in Chicago.
- 1:01:28But he's so funny, a missionary and has been works with the
- 1:01:32worked with the poor and and seems like a really good person.
- 1:01:36So yeah. Watch your ass.
- 1:01:37So I just thought that's that's pretty good.
- 1:01:40I hope he's pretty cool. I hope he's a good dude and does
- 1:01:43good things. Like I said, or else.
- 1:01:44Or else. Or else we're watching your ass.
- 1:01:47We're watching you. Pope Leo the 14th is it?
- 1:01:51I think that's what it is. I don't fucking know.
- 1:01:53I'm pretty sure that's what it was.
- 1:01:54But he what The name he took. Yeah.
- 1:01:55Oh, I. See.
- 1:01:56I see. So anyway, so Leo, yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:59Well, he is now. He's a Leo.
- 1:02:01What is that? What does that mean?
- 1:02:02I don't. Know Lion?
- 1:02:05What? No, it means he's a spiced
- 1:02:09hibiscus Dr. Oh, OK, you're right.
- 1:02:13No, I don't know what does that mean.
- 1:02:14I don't means love. No, Anna, it means he's a spicy
- 1:02:18biscuits Daiquiri I. Don't know what his his sign is.
- 1:02:21I don't know where what his birthday is.
- 1:02:23Somebody people were were like, you know, when they found out he
- 1:02:26was from Chicago, they were like, yes, we're the greatest
- 1:02:28country in American. It's like the mom is French, the
- 1:02:30dad is whatever they're, you know, it sees it's a mixed bag,
- 1:02:33which every American is. So it's like, get over yourself
- 1:02:37on the yeah, on the American thing.
- 1:02:40So I thought that was kind of funny.
- 1:02:42That's pretty funny. Yeah.
- 1:02:43I I it made me think of this. My dad, Van Horn.
- 1:02:46My the last name Van Horn is a is is Dutch.
- 1:02:53OK, OK. And so.
- 1:02:55My brother Chris. Whenever he whenever my dad asks
- 1:03:01my brother Chris to do something, he says how about no,
- 1:03:05you crazy Dutch bastard. You don't know why that just
- 1:03:11triggered that memory. He says that to him and I'm
- 1:03:15like, what? Well, I don't know.
- 1:03:18I don't know why you do this. Liv does this and my brothers do
- 1:03:22this to my mom and my dad. I've never.
- 1:03:24Talked to my parents. This week, never.
- 1:03:26I. Don't know you crazy.
- 1:03:27So that was pretty. Funny, but OK.
- 1:03:31I kind of, I've kind of gone off the whales.
- 1:03:33There, I did see. I did see a thing that said that
- 1:03:35said like, it's just said about like, you're grown up.
- 1:03:39My mom. Well, I'm not your friend, but
- 1:03:41you know what I mean? Yeah, like that all is going to
- 1:03:44stop. And it's like, yeah, my mom who
- 1:03:46swears she's not my friend. And it's, it's the daughter and
- 1:03:49the mom on vacation in like Greece and they're like getting
- 1:03:53drinks or whatever. Well, let's just say when you're
- 1:03:55growing up, you can't be your friend.
- 1:03:57But now that you're an adult, yeah, get to be your friend.
- 1:04:00But then you have a friend who when I'm choking on my ice cream
- 1:04:04and I say, why does ice cream make me choke?
- 1:04:06You tell me maybe I shouldn't Deep Throat the spoon.
- 1:04:09Well, what do you want me to tell you?
- 1:04:11What? Tells her mother not that they
- 1:04:14throw the spoon. I don't understand.
- 1:04:16I think it's solid advice. Oh my God.
- 1:04:18Solid advice. It wasn't the spoon.
- 1:04:21It wasn't the spoon. It wasn't now I did see this
- 1:04:24that the IT said daughter asked mom, what do you want for
- 1:04:27Mother's Day? And the mom answers.
- 1:04:29I just want you to be happy. And the daughter says, well,
- 1:04:32that's, you know, that's a lot to ask for.
- 1:04:34Mom, can we just, can I just get you an air fryer and call it to?
- 1:04:36You yes, oh man, that's pretty funny.
- 1:04:42But you know what one of my favorite one of my favorite mom
- 1:04:46Anna quotes from you. Oh, OK, was I had I had just
- 1:04:49finished producing my debut Days of Our Mice.
- 1:04:53Oh, yeah. I don't know.
- 1:04:54Have we talked about days of our mice?
- 1:04:56No. No listener tell us if we've
- 1:04:58talked about days of our mice and it's such a good name.
- 1:05:03I'll never. I'll never I.
- 1:05:05Peeked. You peeked.
- 1:05:06I peeked. I've finished producing Days of
- 1:05:09Our Mice and you had said I never expected this much
- 1:05:13entertainment on a rainy Saturday morning.
- 1:05:16And I said, yeah, especially since it's Friday.
- 1:05:19Friday. I don't even know what freaking
- 1:05:22day of the week it is. This is a problem I feel.
- 1:05:25Like I'm worried, I'm worried about my poor brain.
- 1:05:28Oh my gosh, I'm really, I'm really worried about my brain
- 1:05:30because the wrong thing comes out all the time.
- 1:05:32Yeah, you were saying this. Yeah, well, I started talking
- 1:05:35about this. You, you said one time you were,
- 1:05:39you were like singing this song. You were singing the words.
- 1:05:45Who's that beautiful girl? Who's that beautiful girl?
- 1:05:50You just kept. Singing that.
- 1:05:51Over. And over and over again.
- 1:05:54But you were singing in this. Funny voice, they said.
- 1:05:57Just about just about what I sounded just now.
- 1:05:59It was terrible. And you just kept saying it over
- 1:06:01and over. Again, it's because it Who's
- 1:06:03that wonderful girl? OK, I'm.
- 1:06:06Like it's a it's a me, it's a TikTok, OK?
- 1:06:08This is the thing that you do. Yeah.
- 1:06:10And Ashley is, And I have commiserated together about
- 1:06:12this. When Abby gets a song in her
- 1:06:14head, she will sing the same line over and over and over
- 1:06:16again until the. OCD.
- 1:06:17Apparently so you're about to lose your shit and finally I've
- 1:06:20had enough. And I meant to say the line from
- 1:06:23Shrek that someone is headed headed.
- 1:06:26The right way for a smack bottom.
- 1:06:28I meant to say someone has headed the right way for a smack
- 1:06:30bottom but. Instead I instead I said.
- 1:06:33You're about to get. Spacked.
- 1:06:37You're about to get spanked. You're.
- 1:06:39About to get spanked. I have no idea why that came
- 1:06:43out. We speak in movie quotes
- 1:06:44listener if you don't know this about it.
- 1:06:46It's what we do. Almost movie quotes.
- 1:06:48Are almost. Twisted, terrible movie quotes.
- 1:06:51Yeah, I'm like. What?
- 1:06:53What Olivia called the Birmingham musicians.
- 1:06:56Oh, yeah, Yeah. Have you ever, have you ever
- 1:06:57heard the story of the Birmingham musicians where the
- 1:06:59little animals are getting away from their evil, abusive
- 1:07:02masters? But it's it's a famous story,
- 1:07:04and The Muppets did a version of it.
- 1:07:05Yep. And in the in the in the version
- 1:07:08of The Muppets, the one dog says I'm old, I'm beat up, I'm worn
- 1:07:14away. And Liv loves that story.
- 1:07:17And she says, oh man, I really want to watch that right now.
- 1:07:20And. Sam couldn't remember what it
- 1:07:22was, so she's like what? And Liv says the country time
- 1:07:25farm animal buddies. Farm animal buddies Alex and I
- 1:07:32went the Bremertown musician. She's like, Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:35that's it. So I'm not the only one.
- 1:07:38I'm not the only. One who does this country Time
- 1:07:40farm Animal buddies, everybody's favorite puppet movie.
- 1:07:44Everybody's. Favorite.
- 1:07:47Oh my God. So that, that's pretty funny.
- 1:07:49But we all. We've all.
- 1:07:50Done it. I mean, but I feel like I'm
- 1:07:53doing this a lot more now and I don't know, I'm just having
- 1:07:59having a hard time with that lately and I'm I'm worried about
- 1:08:02my poor brain. So anybody has any tips on how
- 1:08:07to get my brain and get it shit together that that'd be great.
- 1:08:10I'll take it, yeah. Put some comments I've been
- 1:08:14itching to block somebody. Put some comments in the on the
- 1:08:19Spotify. We'll take some comments.
- 1:08:22We'll take some comments. All right.
- 1:08:24Well, I think that's probably. About all we got.
- 1:08:26All right, I guess we better say goodbye.
- 1:08:28I don't know about you, but after this I'm going to eat some
- 1:08:30serious. Beef.
- 1:08:32Some serious Mother's Day celebrations?
- 1:08:34I don't know some. Serious cocktails.
- 1:08:35It was right there, some serious.
- 1:08:37Cock, no serious cocktails. Bye bye.
