- 1:01Speaker 2: My personal spirit animal mam and dig.
- 1:05Speaker 3: What's up guys?
- 1:06Speaker 1: Captain my captain.
- 1:08Speaker 2: He is a reservist.
- 1:10Speaker 1: He is not a captain, he said, no, no, look
- 1:13Speaker 1: at his picture. He's a half captain. The knees going up,
- 1:16Speaker 1: the knees going up.
- 1:18Speaker 3: It may say reservist on my uniform, but I will
- 1:21Speaker 3: identify as.
- 1:21Speaker 2: There you go. I don't think that's how military rankings work,
- 1:25Speaker 2: but we'll run with it either way. But this week
- 1:30Speaker 2: we did prophecies. Last week, or most of them. You
- 1:33Speaker 2: can check all those out at drawbetter cards dot com
- 1:37Speaker 2: or Drawbetter dot Cards, which hasn't been updated since grimber
- 1:41Speaker 2: Binders one day we'll find one day we'll replace southerly
- 1:46Speaker 2: elf one day, but today isn't that day.
- 1:50Speaker 1: You cannot replace an elf man.
- 1:52Speaker 2: But until then, we're going to keep giving these shitty
- 1:55Speaker 2: card scores because that's what we do, because we don't
- 1:59Speaker 2: know what to do with ourselves, so we're just gonna
- 2:01Speaker 2: score bad cards. Some of them might be good.
- 2:05Speaker 1: We'll get into yeah, I.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Picked a good house to start with.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Well, we have a good house, and we'll go through
- 2:14Speaker 1: new cards and then we'll talk a little bit banter
- 2:17Speaker 1: about what cards have come back that have true value.
- 2:20Speaker 2: My my new favorite thing is that Mammon thinks this
- 2:23Speaker 2: is planned. D is just where alphabetically the house order starts.
- 2:28Speaker 2: There's no brobnarn set, so we're starting with dis sure.
- 2:33Speaker 2: So life crazy life. Let's call start with the coupdi
- 2:38Speaker 2: gras action PIP of Ember. Every time you play it,
- 2:43Speaker 2: play destroy each damaged creature, fate deal for damage to
- 2:49Speaker 2: each friendly creature six finish nice?
- 2:56Speaker 1: All right, that was you are here to break our time,
- 3:00Speaker 1: So I love that you're going first. Why why why
- 3:03Speaker 1: did you bump out.
- 3:04Speaker 2: With six off the bats? It may doesn't.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Kill slightly if only by if we're going by card effect.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Uh.
- 3:16Speaker 3: The art on this card is my other local and
- 3:22Speaker 3: team redacted co Captain JJ's custom art is it really
- 3:27Speaker 3: has to get a sticks off the bat from that
- 3:29Speaker 3: he is being murdered by a demon as requested. Effect wise,
- 3:37Speaker 3: maybe not so much as sex. It's not a couple
- 3:39Speaker 3: of points after that, but.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Sentimental value has it for a six I got I got.
- 3:46Speaker 3: You exactly look I had to say for him. But
- 3:51Speaker 3: if we ignore the art, maybe maybe three. The play
- 3:56Speaker 3: effect is not amazing, but the fate is up it.
- 4:03Speaker 2: E walk.
- 4:07Speaker 1: So shows up in the rare slot. I think that
- 4:09Speaker 1: prophetic visions again has a little bit of an issue
- 4:12Speaker 1: with some c Uh do you know why dark is
- 4:21Speaker 1: spelled d A R k Uh No, no, because you
- 4:28Speaker 1: can't see in the dark.
- 4:32Speaker 2: That was a horrid joke.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Anyway, all right, Hey, I'm finishing the year, bringing up
- 4:36Speaker 1: from my classroom over here and uh beers tonight. Actually
- 4:43Speaker 1: I haven't had a beverage tonight.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Maybe I should have, But I do think that that
- 4:50Speaker 4: is kind of a theme that shows up, and so
- 4:52Speaker 4: I like to see the fate effect here to be
- 4:54Speaker 4: able to do four damage that is very very very nice.
- 5:01Speaker 3: The play effect is pretty dis but it does kind
- 5:05Speaker 3: of want for some damage enhancements on it.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah, it struggles because in a set that doesn't have
- 5:14Speaker 2: a ton of enhancements, I feel I feel like there's
- 5:17Speaker 2: a handful, but I haven't seen like a bucket.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Yeah. The play effect because it is dual side to destroy,
- 5:23Speaker 1: each damaged creature hurts versus the fate noticed it saying
- 5:28Speaker 1: each friendly and because the fate is resolving for your opponents,
- 5:32Speaker 1: that's just damaging on one side. So that that is
- 5:35Speaker 1: why the Fate effect is much much better than the
- 5:37Speaker 1: play effect.
- 5:40Speaker 3: But there are also a good number of weak creatures
- 5:42Speaker 3: that in the set that are pretty powerful.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Correct, and so to be able to hit that even
- 5:48Speaker 1: going against outside of the prophetic visions going into like
- 5:53Speaker 1: gr Mars, to be able to have this hit at
- 5:56Speaker 1: the beginning of the turn and wipe the Mars board
- 5:58Speaker 1: is really really big, So that is awesome.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I wanted to hit so much harder. I wanted to
- 6:04Speaker 2: do the eight. I wanted to I wanted to kill
- 6:06Speaker 2: Brio for Rare. Yeah for Rare, it should kill Brio, right, Like,
- 6:13Speaker 2: I gotta I gotta do all this work. I gotta
- 6:15Speaker 2: plan for Brio to come down finally slide it under
- 6:18Speaker 2: a fate and then I want them to trigger it
- 6:21Speaker 2: and then it just kills it and be like, ha,
- 6:24Speaker 2: suck at Brio, Like it only does four damage, Like
- 6:27Speaker 2: it kills a lot of small stuff, but you're like
- 6:30Speaker 2: a lot of the set big chonky saurians.
- 6:34Speaker 1: There's outside outside of sorry, and I'll argue that there
- 6:37Speaker 1: is a lot of smaller creatures that I think the
- 6:39Speaker 1: four is really nicely positioned. How about this, There's something
- 6:46Speaker 1: would I do? I think that this is very fitting
- 6:50Speaker 1: for diss at four. I think it does kill most creatures,
- 6:53Speaker 1: but it doesn't kill all creatures. I think it's going
- 6:55Speaker 1: to miss You're sorry, and I think it's going to
- 6:57Speaker 1: miss your big brabner out of uh sets. I think
- 7:00Speaker 1: that it's going to go ahead and miss you know Brio.
- 7:03Speaker 1: My question is, would you rather have deal four to
- 7:06Speaker 1: each creature or each friendly creature in this case, or
- 7:09Speaker 1: would you rather have uh stun each creature each friendly creature?
- 7:15Speaker 2: No, I'd rather have it. I'd rather have it kill everything.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I'd rather have it just be a board.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I that that is not your choice. That is not
- 7:22Speaker 1: your choice.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Would I rather have that or stunning each creat Well,
- 7:26Speaker 2: even a stunned creature's powers are still in a fact.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Correct, which is why I'm asking.
- 7:31Speaker 3: If ay, that's an interesting question. I it really depends
- 7:36Speaker 3: on the boredom up against, especially in this set. Anything
- 7:39Speaker 3: other than Saurian I might take the damage Sorian I
- 7:43Speaker 3: would want stunned. I this damage isn't gonna kill the
- 7:47Speaker 3: good Surians. I need them to at least be down
- 7:51Speaker 3: for a turn.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I guess with that logic, I could run along with you,
- 7:57Speaker 2: because a lot of the good stuff is big meeting stuff,
- 8:02Speaker 2: so it doesn't kill them. It just it makes them
- 8:06Speaker 2: go out, and that's it. I don't know. I just
- 8:10Speaker 2: I feel like I should have gotten more out of
- 8:11Speaker 2: this card, and I just didn't.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I've had a second one that could then destroy all
- 8:16Speaker 3: the damaged ones. That'd be great, but it's rare, so.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So I mean, this here destroyed each damaged creature. That
- 8:23Speaker 1: is one hundred percent. Save the pack from long ago,
- 8:26Speaker 1: which was that common in Coda, Yep, you had a
- 8:29Speaker 1: chain for that, and you didn't have an amber, so.
- 8:31Speaker 2: There was only one chain. It wasn't that big a deal.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I'm saying this comes with no chain and an amber
- 8:41Speaker 1: and you can play it and.
- 8:43Speaker 2: You don't get the amber for the Fate if you
- 8:45Speaker 2: played as a faith though, No, which is the better
- 8:49Speaker 2: of the two abilities?
- 8:51Speaker 1: I can't disagree with you, but I'm saying, like, here,
- 8:54Speaker 1: destroy each damaged creature. It you're not taking if if
- 8:58Speaker 1: you play it straight up as a play effect.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Yeah, if we're just looking at that.
- 9:03Speaker 1: It's interesting to be able to see the difference in
- 9:06Speaker 1: kind of the evolution. But yes, right now, I think
- 9:08Speaker 1: that we want to see a little bit more damage.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I think I want to see new card designs and
- 9:12Speaker 2: not just reskins of old cards. Well you said it,
- 9:16Speaker 2: so that's me all right, But what do I know?
- 9:20Speaker 3: So I think a couple of damage tips would have
- 9:21Speaker 3: done this?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Okay, right, But like the Fate is great, right, Like, yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 2: the Fate's new design, but like literally, Coup de Gras
- 9:28Speaker 2: is just say the pack, right, we added something to
- 9:31Speaker 2: it and slapped an ember, piffed on it and called
- 9:33Speaker 2: it new. Right, But like this is this is just
- 9:37Speaker 2: a rehash of an old card that we've kind of
- 9:39Speaker 2: updated for today's KeyForge.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So with that being said, where do you place it?
- 9:46Speaker 2: I mean, I'll give it a three I think it's
- 9:48Speaker 2: right in the middle. It might be it might be
- 9:51Speaker 2: a four. I could I could be very easily talked
- 9:54Speaker 2: into a four. Sheep's gonna be like, this is not seven.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I don't know. Sheep can. Sheep can either way, and
- 10:00Speaker 2: I would have no idea. But I think this is
- 10:04Speaker 2: like right in the middle. It's fine. It's got an
- 10:06Speaker 2: ember pip, so I'm not too mad at it. More
- 10:09Speaker 2: times than not, when played is an action, this does
- 10:12Speaker 2: nothing right because more times than not, how many times
- 10:15Speaker 2: are you just hanging around with damaged creatures on the board,
- 10:18Speaker 2: especially your opponent's ember damaged creatures? But not too often
- 10:26Speaker 2: because most good creatures are small. Okay, except for Bria,
- 10:33Speaker 2: which just doesn't kill. By the way, I think that.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I think in set, with what you're seeing for Sanctum
- 10:39Speaker 1: with the armor, it actually can go ahead and what
- 10:43Speaker 1: hit them for one, No, I'm saying the actual play
- 10:48Speaker 1: effects like that, so in set, but if.
- 10:51Speaker 2: You are going up against Sanctum, you've already won.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm just saying in set for sealed that there's basically yes,
- 11:00Speaker 1: we do look at Z score for Arkan and so
- 11:02Speaker 1: in that manner, I please this as a three. I
- 11:05Speaker 1: could be talked into the four from just the damage
- 11:08Speaker 1: on the fate, but just because it's missing around the
- 11:12Speaker 1: rest of this set. But that's where Ian when.
- 11:14Speaker 3: You say, if you're going in sanctomy, you've already won,
- 11:17Speaker 3: are you including TV?
- 11:20Speaker 2: We'll we'll talk about that on later, okay, which.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Is why, Which is why I just conceded. Yeah, we're
- 11:27Speaker 1: gonna concede there, mam, what what what are you rolling
- 11:30Speaker 1: with here?
- 11:31Speaker 3: I'm singing with the three?
- 11:32Speaker 1: Okay? We are good?
- 11:34Speaker 2: Three collapse pip Avember. Every time you play it, it
- 11:38Speaker 2: is an action play discard your hand for each card
- 11:41Speaker 2: discarded this way, and enemy creatures captures one from its
- 11:43Speaker 2: own side. Dig it.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it is a good card.
- 11:49Speaker 2: This is either a five or six. I don't know which.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Do we lose? Everyone you walk?
- 11:59Speaker 3: No, I'm I'm with you. I I'm trying to think
- 12:05Speaker 3: of how it could be better, that it could be
- 12:07Speaker 3: a six, because I don't just want to jump to six.
- 12:10Speaker 3: But it is very good.
- 12:11Speaker 2: It is efficiency, it is umber control.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Is a lot of uh like later on in other houses,
- 12:21Speaker 3: there's a handful of archives that's not exactly targeted. It's
- 12:25Speaker 3: a lot of random stuff, so it kind of works
- 12:28Speaker 3: really well with that in that if I'm not targeting,
- 12:30Speaker 3: target archiving the things I want and I just have
- 12:32Speaker 3: an archive full of junk, this gets pretty wild.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I could
- 12:41Speaker 2: safely give it a five. All right, No, this is
- 12:45Speaker 2: this is easy five okay, yeah, all right, well that
- 12:48Speaker 2: one was easy, right. I want to I want to
- 12:52Speaker 2: record an episode of just Sheep talking over us and
- 12:55Speaker 2: then kind of like lay it over the top, and.
- 12:59Speaker 1: If you apparently go ahead and lose our cast, then yes,
- 13:02Speaker 1: Sheep can do that.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yeah and side I didn't lose it. It was still there,
- 13:07Speaker 2: just I don't know what happened. Let's go to the
- 13:10Speaker 2: embellish imp, which we like to embellish things that happen.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Two power imp each time.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You know, do you know how many hours have been lost?
- 13:19Speaker 2: A lot?
- 13:19Speaker 5: Now there's yeah, Well when you do anything for five years,
- 13:24Speaker 5: a lot of ship's gonna get lost.
- 13:28Speaker 1: An embellishment there.
- 13:31Speaker 2: You got all your books that you had from what
- 13:33Speaker 2: you started teaching me, Yes, you do. That is such
- 13:39Speaker 2: a you. You have lost a few along the way.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I'll guarantee it. You know you've lost You've lost it.
- 13:45Speaker 2: You don't even remember you lost.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Them actually today, because I'm in year number nineteen that
- 13:52Speaker 1: just wrapped up and I'm moving for the third time
- 13:54Speaker 1: in four years. I'm like, I am not moving this again,
- 13:57Speaker 1: so I actually know exactly where they are. But I
- 14:00Speaker 1: did move some items because I had curriculum from when
- 14:02Speaker 1: I started that no longer is there. We do not
- 14:05Speaker 1: use transparencies anymore, and it is time for it to
- 14:08Speaker 1: be goodbye.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, you're a hoarder. Nobody knew anyways, Embellish.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that was not the right person to ask. I
- 14:17Speaker 1: do keep things that I haven't organized.
- 14:19Speaker 3: I have also pointed my way, I've got nothing, really.
- 14:25Speaker 3: I mean, I have a bunch of Keyfords in the
- 14:26Speaker 3: last five years.
- 14:27Speaker 2: But yeah, I don't even have my own high school
- 14:29Speaker 2: yearbooks anymore.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Oh I have earbooks.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Oh my god, I slam dunk those in the trash
- 14:36Speaker 2: years ago.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Yeah. But like keyboard decks are by set alphabetical, like
- 14:41Speaker 1: this is every you can find all this.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Might have potato chip crumbs in them. That's I know
- 14:46Speaker 2: they did.
- 14:46Speaker 3: It is horrendous, horrendous plastic clubs that are very recently mostly.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Sorted by set, vaguely sorted by set, yeah, all right,
- 14:58Speaker 2: embellish and power imp creature. Each time an enemy creature
- 15:03Speaker 2: is destroyed, steal one fate destroyed the most powerful friendly creature.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I want to like this because what's with the art
- 15:14Speaker 2: on the discs people lately? Can I ask that question?
- 15:18Speaker 2: First off, they don't like this one? Well, okay, so
- 15:23Speaker 2: like when it comes down to discs and it comes
- 15:25Speaker 2: down to a lot of things, like this art style
- 15:28Speaker 2: has been like kind of all over lately. It doesn't
- 15:33Speaker 2: work in this.
- 15:35Speaker 3: We're talking about. It's like a little more, a little.
- 15:38Speaker 2: More cartoony, like even even like the the relativity imp
- 15:42Speaker 2: is a little cartoony, you know, like the chasm vestment
- 15:45Speaker 2: is kind of what we're used to.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I mean, if you're looking a just comparing Cudi Gras
- 15:51Speaker 1: to embellish and.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Like Rudigra is very much what we're used to. And
- 15:56Speaker 2: then all of a sudden we just get this very
- 15:58Speaker 2: different art style and we've seen it another of cards too. Well,
- 16:02Speaker 2: maybe I wonderful the same artist. I'll have to pay attention.
- 16:07Speaker 3: There are that's that I think break the form. I
- 16:10Speaker 3: actually kind of think this one's funny because he stole
- 16:12Speaker 3: all the house symbols. It is kind of just a
- 16:15Speaker 3: funny cartoonish thing, whereas a lot of diss is like
- 16:17Speaker 3: really dark stuff happening in violence and whatever, and this
- 16:19Speaker 3: guy's just like, ah, I'm sorry, and shadows and sank.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Them down well, and the Bellish just here where this
- 16:26Speaker 1: is Natalie Russo, who's done quite a bit of artwork
- 16:28Speaker 1: for key Forge, so very well known keyboardge artists. I
- 16:33Speaker 1: think the flare here of the house to.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Are you wearing your seventeen pieces of flair?
- 16:39Speaker 1: That that is That's where I see it going. But
- 16:41Speaker 1: I'm fine with that.
- 16:44Speaker 2: What do we think about in Bellish? Are you high?
- 16:47Speaker 2: Are you low? I'm about where its power is. I
- 16:54Speaker 2: just see this guying.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I might be a little above where that is. Just
- 17:00Speaker 3: likes to blow stuff up. There's ways to use this immediately,
- 17:05Speaker 3: and if I'm blowing things up, I'd like to be
- 17:09Speaker 3: rewarded for it even more each.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I suppose if you get some, maybe you get a
- 17:14Speaker 2: coupdi gras with some. I guess there are situations. There
- 17:18Speaker 2: are situationships that the fires at the start of their turn,
- 17:24Speaker 2: right at the end of the Yeah, if.
- 17:27Speaker 3: The ambers back, it just negates any negative side of
- 17:29Speaker 3: hitting the opponent's side for that.
- 17:32Speaker 2: It is okay.
- 17:36Speaker 3: My gut reaction was three. I think in a combo
- 17:40Speaker 3: it's very, very useful. But I also think if you
- 17:44Speaker 3: don't have anything to use it right away, it's not
- 17:46Speaker 3: even elusive.
- 17:47Speaker 2: So it's just gone just dies. Yes, it's super squishy.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna stick with by two.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Do you feel that. I mean, it's not it's not
- 17:55Speaker 1: witch status. It's not something that has to be killed immediately.
- 17:58Speaker 1: We like the steal, but even this last week, I
- 18:00Speaker 1: think this.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Thing dies on accident, Like I kell you, I'm Bellicham
- 18:05Speaker 2: because that's the one I have to I get. I
- 18:08Speaker 2: can do two damage, so I'm just gonna kill it.
- 18:10Speaker 1: I just it's interesting because she was arguing about Urchin
- 18:13Speaker 1: is just not being worthwhile anymore with the steal one.
- 18:20Speaker 1: So it is interesting to see this here. And Steel
- 18:24Speaker 1: has been consistently good, but just stealing one is it enough?
- 18:27Speaker 1: Right now? Well?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Right, but I mean you're gonna you can destroy multiple creatures.
- 18:31Speaker 3: But yeah, this is this is one per and correct.
- 18:35Speaker 3: I said, There's so many ways to do it in
- 18:37Speaker 3: bulk into this especially, so I think I think this
- 18:40Speaker 3: is still a decent card. Again, it's rare, which probably
- 18:46Speaker 3: drags it down a little bit because I can't rely
- 18:48Speaker 3: on it in multiples.
- 18:49Speaker 2: But hey, do we have a judge. We don't have
- 18:52Speaker 2: a judge. Everybody's gone, thanks all the judges. What happens
- 18:56Speaker 2: if this it's a board wipe? Do I get one?
- 19:03Speaker 2: Do I steal one for each one? Or is it
- 19:05Speaker 2: because they're all being blown up simultaneously? Well, they're all
- 19:08Speaker 2: being explained on simultaneously, saneous, right, but the effect is
- 19:12Speaker 2: still around.
- 19:16Speaker 3: But not not when they're destroyed.
- 19:19Speaker 1: So destroyed trigger it's not. Yeah, that's it's a simultaneous
- 19:23Speaker 1: I'm going yea.
- 19:24Speaker 3: This is also gone. When the other things are destroyed.
- 19:30Speaker 1: You can go ahead and argue why we are wrong
- 19:33Speaker 1: in our discord and tell us all about it.
- 19:35Speaker 2: I can't.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I just I just wonder it will be half the
- 19:37Speaker 3: Q and A or half of the FAQ.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just like I wonder, right, because like what
- 19:44Speaker 2: how so destroyed happens? They're marked for destruction? You you
- 19:48Speaker 2: do any destroyed keyword triggers? This isn't a keyword, Nope.
- 19:53Speaker 2: And then everything is is wiped off the board.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Mean yeah, and when they're wiped off the board, this
- 19:59Speaker 3: is gone.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Hmmm, Now I wonder I hadn't ward it right right, right,
- 20:07Speaker 2: right right, and this will be the set for flow charts.
- 20:11Speaker 2: There's a couple especially with the prophecies and when they're triggering,
- 20:15Speaker 2: when they trigger correct, because the cards.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Need a TV specific timing chart that just has little
- 20:21Speaker 3: pictures of all the prophecies with arrows to when they
- 20:24Speaker 3: can trigger well.
- 20:24Speaker 2: And I feel like, even playing PV this this past
- 20:27Speaker 2: week on Tuesday, right like some of us play faster
- 20:32Speaker 2: than we're able to trigger cards. I'm like, I'm gonna
- 20:34Speaker 2: play these two and I was like, wait, as you
- 20:37Speaker 2: played that first one, my prophecy triggered, It's like, oh, okay,
- 20:40Speaker 2: hold on. Then you wait, and nine times out of
- 20:43Speaker 2: ten it was like, and it's nothing, Okay, I'm going
- 20:46Speaker 2: to continue with my turn right because I don't I
- 20:48Speaker 2: don't know. I feel like there's not enough fake cards
- 20:50Speaker 2: in this set for the prophecies even to be worthwhile.
- 20:55Speaker 3: But left, I mean it varies, obviously, it just came
- 20:59Speaker 3: from our locals. And the last deck I played, I
- 21:03Speaker 3: was everything I played under a prophecy, every turn had
- 21:06Speaker 3: a fate effect. Was doing great. It was left fun.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Maybe mister deck just sucked well.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And honestly, my deck that went ahead and took it,
- 21:15Speaker 1: that played very very well. Basically, three of the four
- 21:21Speaker 1: prophecies were not going to consistently trigger. They just were
- 21:25Speaker 1: so infrequent, so you could tuck a card that you're
- 21:28Speaker 1: not expecting to see back on a cycle. But I
- 21:32Speaker 1: actually had a full game where I didn't go ahead
- 21:34Speaker 1: and trigger. My opponent did not trigger single fate as
- 21:37Speaker 1: a result.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And like that can be the opposite side too, So
- 21:42Speaker 1: it is very very dependent on the prophecy.
- 21:47Speaker 3: You got to start this pv TV right now, but
- 21:51Speaker 3: you know, like the discard one against gr that one's
- 21:53Speaker 3: actually pretty good against pv.
- 21:57Speaker 1: CORRECT.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Excited to see some that matchup, but you know everyone's
- 22:01Speaker 3: doing in set right now because it's new.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and mine, mine was the discard. All right, so
- 22:07Speaker 1: you went two, you went three. I'm gonna go ahead.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I think here, I'm gonna lean towards the two.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Okay, all right, Remy's Horror We don't have a Remy yet,
- 22:22Speaker 2: but Remy's Horror play destroy a creature and an artifact,
- 22:27Speaker 2: perge a random card from your opponent's hand. Dig dig
- 22:33Speaker 2: diggity dig it I'm gonna see on rarity at all,
- 22:39Speaker 2: not really just normally just buy the card sets. They're
- 22:42Speaker 2: small too, so like double rares aren't really that crazy
- 22:45Speaker 2: anymore usually. I mean back in the day with high
- 22:49Speaker 2: high rarities, yeah, or high set counts, it did matter
- 22:53Speaker 2: a little bit, right, But now now you're just like
- 22:58Speaker 2: it feels like rarity doesn't even matter anymore. I mean
- 23:02Speaker 2: just this past week and my VM twenty five deck,
- 23:05Speaker 2: I pulled a triple rare. It was like, it wasn't
- 23:08Speaker 2: a good one, but it happened, so it doesn't. I
- 23:12Speaker 2: don't even know if it matters with the algorithm anymore. Still,
- 23:16Speaker 2: a great card kind of sucks that you have to
- 23:19Speaker 2: destroy a creature and a artifact, and if your opponent
- 23:22Speaker 2: hasn't on you're blown up yours.
- 23:25Speaker 1: It is dual side of force, but I think that
- 23:27Speaker 1: more often than not, you're going to be seeing creature destroyed,
- 23:31Speaker 1: purging card from your opponent's hand, and just that alone
- 23:34Speaker 1: is value. Yes, if you can go ahead and have
- 23:37Speaker 1: if they have an artifact, to have artifact control and
- 23:40Speaker 1: sealed and in arc on, both are really really good.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I gave it a five. I really really like this card,
- 23:56Speaker 2: just mean.
- 23:57Speaker 3: I was going to go four more as well.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yeah, we have seen clipped wings just rack face lately.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Maybe it just wrecks my face. I don't know, Maybe
- 24:08Speaker 2: i'm a little wings. I thought we got clipped wings
- 24:12Speaker 2: A five E Wok would be the one to know.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Cliped wings also had an umber pip, so I.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Guess yeah, you know you don't have the.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I mean, destroy a creature, destroy an artifact. So this
- 24:27Speaker 2: is this is our it's hard r.
- 24:30Speaker 3: This is kill a creature, carvitality, which you get to
- 24:34Speaker 3: do either or so there's no risk of hitting your
- 24:36Speaker 3: own side if you're playing it.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Yeah, the purges are good, but I also think the
- 24:44Speaker 3: other side of clip wings, just the versatility is what
- 24:47Speaker 3: makes it extremely good. This does multiple things with a
- 24:52Speaker 3: chance of hitting yourself and no.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Amber but hand destroy you're a bare minimum getting a
- 24:58Speaker 2: purged card out of your opponent's hand. Yeah, like we've
- 25:02Speaker 2: we've seen that do damage. And I mean there are
- 25:07Speaker 2: decks that can't handle hand disruption and that just completely collapse.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Could you imagine hitting a a I mean we saw
- 25:15Speaker 2: remember when Bandola got hit and had to purge its
- 25:18Speaker 2: witch queen just I mean it crumbled. It's just that
- 25:25Speaker 2: the power of that is so high.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Yeah, can it right?
- 25:32Speaker 2: It's still random, right, you're not getting to choose, right,
- 25:35Speaker 2: But like, man, I wish this card wasn't rare. I
- 25:38Speaker 2: wish this was common, like clipped wings, but couldn't have
- 25:44Speaker 2: a good card a common.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I put in at four. Sorry, rookie, it's okay, Brass
- 25:50Speaker 1: and sheep can go ahead and argue with us.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Yeah, the sheep will be like this is a six,
- 25:56Speaker 2: maybe a seven? All right, crazy solo five power demon
- 26:03Speaker 2: If there are no other friendly creatures in play, Solo
- 26:07Speaker 2: gets plus twenty power and gains after fight game three
- 26:13Speaker 2: for its fate. It destroys each creature. I do like
- 26:19Speaker 2: the fate portion of this. I could care. I could
- 26:22Speaker 2: give two squirts about the plus twenty power.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Yeah, they didn't give us waste, not in this one.
- 26:28Speaker 2: So and not only that, like, how often do you
- 26:30Speaker 2: have one creature in play, especially in the newer sets?
- 26:35Speaker 3: Yeah, and how often do you want to if.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You have one creature in play, you're already losing.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Yes, I think this gets a three just for being
- 26:44Speaker 3: a straight up full board wipe.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I I yeah. Oh, it destroys each creature, so
- 26:53Speaker 2: it's destroying everything. This is this it's a it's a
- 26:56Speaker 2: board white.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's a boardwap that you can strategize to
- 26:59Speaker 3: blow at the end of their turn, so you then
- 27:01Speaker 3: immediately get to play creatures in a deck with the
- 27:04Speaker 3: right prophecies.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Right, yep, heavily prophecy deficient or efficient prophecy dependent. But
- 27:12Speaker 2: I think overall, even even on a prophecy that fires
- 27:17Speaker 2: some of the time, I dig it. I mean, if
- 27:22Speaker 2: you if you don't want to blow up the board,
- 27:23Speaker 2: you just you just I guess, just play it. It's
- 27:25Speaker 2: still a five power body on board yeah, one, three, four, Yeah,
- 27:34Speaker 2: I can get it. I can get behind a three,
- 27:37Speaker 2: maybe a four because it is one of like the
- 27:40Speaker 2: it might Actually is there any other board wipes in
- 27:42Speaker 2: this set?
- 27:45Speaker 3: I don't think there are any? Just straight up.
- 27:47Speaker 2: On Yeah, I didn't think. So you walk any other
- 27:54Speaker 2: any board, you'd be the one to know.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Uh not. I have to go through not a My
- 28:02Speaker 1: brain is still just finishing from school.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Next week we'll be giving out all of Ewok's kids grades.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Those are done.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Oh never mind, it's been a week. You haven't memorized
- 28:13Speaker 3: the new cardpool yet.
- 28:14Speaker 1: No, oh no, No, we have seen that. That's not
- 28:17Speaker 1: the issue is just trying to go through with all
- 28:19Speaker 1: of them. No, I know that the listing is low.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I'm putting the setup four the body. I think the
- 28:28Speaker 1: fate is extremely strong, but I don't I.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Don't think I can be.
- 28:37Speaker 1: All right.
- 28:38Speaker 3: I was kind of at three and a half three
- 28:40Speaker 3: for the fate, half for the creature.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Yeah. I definitely think it's a solid three because of
- 28:45Speaker 1: that faith though.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, what do we got next? Solo? It's
- 28:51Speaker 2: an artifact. Your opponent cannot use cards that match the
- 28:55Speaker 2: house of any face up cards under soul lock action
- 29:00Speaker 2: just card all cards under soul lock. Put an enemy
- 29:04Speaker 2: creature face up under soul lock.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Uh So what's interesting to me? I can see the
- 29:13Speaker 1: arc score here of one point seventy five to two
- 29:15Speaker 1: point twenty five, whereas Solo had one point nine to
- 29:18Speaker 1: six point four. I just in practice seeing this from
- 29:26Speaker 1: games and then what we've seen lately. This is a brutal,
- 29:29Speaker 1: brutal artifact. It can be no, no, no, like okay,
- 29:36Speaker 1: So outside of the fact that if a card is
- 29:39Speaker 1: house enhanced, you're hitting two, your opponent cannot use cards
- 29:43Speaker 1: that match the house of any face up card. So
- 29:46Speaker 1: if they don't have artifact control, I just throw down
- 29:50Speaker 1: a big board. One, I go ahead and I take
- 29:54Speaker 1: one of those creatures, so it's removal, and then two
- 29:58Speaker 1: you can't use that house at all.
- 30:01Speaker 2: It does get around brill.
- 30:03Speaker 1: It is, I kid you not. This card is brutal
- 30:08Speaker 1: kind of slow though it is, it is also being slow.
- 30:12Speaker 1: It is slow in that it is an artifact and
- 30:15Speaker 1: then you'll have to come back with the action.
- 30:18Speaker 3: So I guess it's also a deterrent from playing house
- 30:21Speaker 3: pipped creatures or well house creatures.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah, well, house creatures are are absolutely silly because now
- 30:28Speaker 1: I've locked you out of two houses. Think about that control.
- 30:32Speaker 3: It doesn't do anything to actions or prophecies.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Yes, so correct, because it cannot use cards.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I can see, especially en sealed, where board can
- 30:47Speaker 3: be very important. How this is detrimental.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Some tells me they didn't think about house enhancements
- 30:56Speaker 2: when they made this card.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Maybe they did.
- 31:00Speaker 2: It's a rare. Maybe I guess it isn't rare. I
- 31:04Speaker 2: I to be honest with you. Until somebody said house enhancement,
- 31:06Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, yeah, you're not locked out of two houses? Good? Good, luck. Yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 2: that is pretty brutal.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I think this is a five.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Say, yeah, you've completely changed where I was going with it. Yeah,
- 31:22Speaker 2: I can man, all.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Right, I'll give it.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I think this could be a sex wrong. I think
- 31:30Speaker 2: this could be a sex.
- 31:32Speaker 1: So I originally was there. The problem that I have
- 31:35Speaker 1: is that it is slow. So if this artifact does
- 31:38Speaker 1: come up late.
- 31:39Speaker 2: But man, this shuts down Embers guys, it just shuts
- 31:44Speaker 2: it down. So one car just says, if you are
- 31:47Speaker 2: playing ember Skis and you do not have hard R,
- 31:51Speaker 2: you lose. You have lost the game. I will shut
- 31:55Speaker 2: you out of two houses and you can play your
- 31:58Speaker 2: one house. And then moment you no longer have cards
- 32:02Speaker 2: in hand that you could play, you've just lost. Think
- 32:05Speaker 2: about that. I guess you could discard. Still, uh, you
- 32:09Speaker 2: can still call the houses a discard, but you're now
- 32:11Speaker 2: you're just pissing away turns.
- 32:13Speaker 3: You can play actions, which like you could just caularize
- 32:16Speaker 3: metality this and be fine.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Sure, sure, or you can go a hide it and
- 32:20Speaker 1: still play your actions in order, like I can still
- 32:24Speaker 1: redline you like there there are.
- 32:27Speaker 3: It's not a lockout. It is just an extreme slow down.
- 32:32Speaker 2: And let's say you can't play cards.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you can still use.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Still, you can still use cards on the on the field.
- 32:47Speaker 1: What I like about this is the versatility in that
- 32:50Speaker 1: if you have that board, maybe now it allows with
- 32:53Speaker 1: the limited sea to be able to pause. So someone
- 32:56Speaker 1: just threw out five creatures. I don't know, mammon, thinking
- 33:00Speaker 1: about the rows of a vault when you dropped a big,
- 33:04Speaker 1: giant board of Skyborne. I would have loved this to
- 33:08Speaker 1: one take one remove it, but just to because an
- 33:12Speaker 1: early board, if you can drop down four or five
- 33:15Speaker 1: creatures and just continue to play off of it, there's
- 33:17Speaker 1: such value, and it takes away from that. But now
- 33:20Speaker 1: I get my wife and I can sub out, like
- 33:23Speaker 1: you put another section down. It's Sorian. Great, I go ahead,
- 33:27Speaker 1: especially in set, I can steal your Sorian and then
- 33:31Speaker 1: I can go ahead and guess what you're not using
- 33:34Speaker 1: that Saurian board that you have, So that I think
- 33:37Speaker 1: that five is appropriate based on it being slow, but
- 33:40Speaker 1: it has quite a bit of use.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going with five, just without immediate evidence to
- 33:49Speaker 3: prove me wrong, just imagining. I think this card changes
- 33:53Speaker 3: how your opponent plays the game just by hitting the board,
- 33:57Speaker 3: and I think that alone gives it a great score.
- 34:02Speaker 2: All right, what are we got next?
- 34:04Speaker 1: Atrocity my favorite card of There were two of them
- 34:08Speaker 1: that showed up in my deck this week. Atrocity three
- 34:10Speaker 1: powered demon creature. At the start of your opponent's turn,
- 34:15Speaker 1: that player discards the top card of their deck. They
- 34:17Speaker 1: must choose the discarded cards house as their active house
- 34:21Speaker 1: this turn. Deal one to Atrocity.
- 34:27Speaker 3: That card lives up to its name.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I mean.
- 34:35Speaker 2: It will only happen three times, hopefully, No.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Sure if there's nothing that heals or wards or provides armor.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Surely there's none of that.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Surely not right a turn?
- 34:52Speaker 3: Forget if it was his turn. One In the prophetic visions,
- 34:59Speaker 3: uh To of Roseville, Heat plays Atrocity and another card
- 35:09Speaker 3: that's coming up in two eye for an eye against
- 35:13Speaker 3: me with an empty board, and all of a sudden,
- 35:17Speaker 3: I'm playing a random house for at least three turns.
- 35:20Speaker 3: And if he keeps calling this, him down two cards
- 35:23Speaker 3: every house, and I did win that game. I don't
- 35:27Speaker 3: know how this card is very good?
- 35:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Against Pete this week, Pete got to play his first
- 35:36Speaker 1: turn going first, and he got to play his last turn,
- 35:40Speaker 1: which came roughly five turns later because atrocity was able
- 35:45Speaker 1: to go ahead, and basically it just randomized what house
- 35:49Speaker 1: he was playing. He had to have a total total
- 35:51Speaker 1: time walk on one turn. But with the war that
- 35:54Speaker 1: exists censorian and I missed. I actually had Imperial Scuotum,
- 35:59Speaker 1: which is insane, but I got it and I had
- 36:02Speaker 1: played it the turn before. That was really the only difference.
- 36:06Speaker 1: So I think that this is a very very very solid, uncommon.
- 36:12Speaker 1: I'm hoping to be able to see multiples.
- 36:17Speaker 3: So would you get funny that you say that because
- 36:19Speaker 3: I had the same thought, And well, actually I had
- 36:23Speaker 3: the opposite thought. I really don't want to see multiples.
- 36:26Speaker 3: I did just do a quick search with four hundred
- 36:29Speaker 3: atrocity decks that exist. There are no doubles, so I
- 36:33Speaker 3: would assume that that might be ye.
- 36:37Speaker 2: So you were not able to find any doubles, is
- 36:39Speaker 2: what I'm being told, not.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Out of four hundred atrocity decks, and that actually mostly.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Yeah, And that actually makes sense because it would require
- 36:49Speaker 1: at the start of your opponent's turn to two cards yep,
- 36:53Speaker 1: and you would potentially be locked out of because they
- 36:57Speaker 1: must choose the discarded cards house it again, I see
- 37:00Speaker 1: what's there, But it makes logical sense that that would
- 37:03Speaker 1: not happen regardless.
- 37:05Speaker 3: With the real strategies to hold it. So when they
- 37:07Speaker 3: killed the first one, you just play the second one
- 37:09Speaker 3: down ruin their day.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Well yeah, and there are ways with logos to be
- 37:13Speaker 1: able to recycle to bring things back. So yeah, this
- 37:17Speaker 1: is good. That being said, where do we place it? Boyce?
- 37:23Speaker 3: Ah, well, I want to go five.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I was thinking four or five. That was the
- 37:32Speaker 2: two I was looking at all right.
- 37:37Speaker 3: I haven't played many games against it, but I can't
- 37:41Speaker 3: remember a single turn where it did hit the house
- 37:45Speaker 3: I wanted. And with the other control and disc that
- 37:48Speaker 3: it just stacks to be absurd.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I have it at a four. I think it's
- 37:54Speaker 1: very very good, but yes it did. It does have
- 37:58Speaker 1: some issues where they are still able to play. I
- 38:02Speaker 1: like it should we go on to Grave Bounty action
- 38:06Speaker 1: with an Amber pip play purge a card from your
- 38:10Speaker 1: discard pile. If you do, your opponent loses to Amber
- 38:14Speaker 1: Fate purge the top two cards of your discard pile.
- 38:22Speaker 3: I think the fate on this is very good or sorry,
- 38:25Speaker 3: the play on this is very good, the fate a
- 38:27Speaker 3: little less, so.
- 38:34Speaker 2: I don't mind the fate doesn't allow your opponent to
- 38:37Speaker 2: kind of like get rid of dead cards though. Yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 2: typically top an ar kin. I don't, man, I guess
- 38:45Speaker 2: it exists.
- 38:47Speaker 1: I'd much rather I'd much rather have the action I
- 38:50Speaker 1: would too gain it. You're gaining an amber, you're purging
- 38:54Speaker 1: a card from discard pile, your choice, and your opponent
- 38:57Speaker 1: loses too much much.
- 38:59Speaker 3: But I think the only way I'm fading this is
- 39:02Speaker 3: if I have a prophecy that I know is going
- 39:05Speaker 3: to trigger the start of their turn and I somehow
- 39:09Speaker 3: am choosing what goes on top, or they left the
- 39:11Speaker 3: best two cards in their deck on top. Otherwise I'd
- 39:16Speaker 3: love to get rid of some of my trash and
- 39:17Speaker 3: make them lose amber and gain a namber myself. Is
- 39:25Speaker 3: an uncommon Yes, trying to picture how how much I
- 39:37Speaker 3: don't want to play against the deck with like three
- 39:39Speaker 3: or four reason.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Part your card from your desk card file. If you do,
- 39:45Speaker 2: your opponent lose us too. Yeah. Three, I know she
- 39:53Speaker 2: was gonna tell me I'm wrong and I'm rating it
- 39:54Speaker 2: too low.
- 39:56Speaker 3: I feel like I'm being very generous with these cards,
- 39:58Speaker 3: but I do think this is a pretty atrocious house
- 40:01Speaker 3: in PV. I want to give this a four. This
- 40:03Speaker 3: is a three amber swing.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I know, and it's much much higher than where I'm
- 40:10Speaker 1: going to see many of the other cards, but I
- 40:13Speaker 1: have it as a four.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 40:19Speaker 2: All right, moving on, I do you got to do
- 40:25Speaker 2: this eye for an Eye, Eye for and eye, I
- 40:28Speaker 2: fron I IF and I eye and.
- 40:30Speaker 3: I on the flavor text.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh for Power Demon Creature play, discard your hand.
- 40:39Speaker 2: After reap, your opponent discards two random cards from their hand.
- 40:46Speaker 2: The worst part is that it doesn't even have any.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Eyes, so the reap is very good.
- 40:57Speaker 2: I think the play is pretty dumb too. This is efficiency.
- 41:03Speaker 2: You don't have to it's not an alpha. Thank god
- 41:05Speaker 2: they didn't put alpha in here, so you could play
- 41:08Speaker 2: your discs and then play a Eye for an Eye
- 41:12Speaker 2: and just get read of your hand drawing six mm hmm.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Like I said, this combode with atrocity really well, because
- 41:21Speaker 3: I was playing four card hands uh from random houses
- 41:30Speaker 3: for three turns and that was just painful.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:37Speaker 3: And yeah, the fact that it's not alpha means yeah,
- 41:39Speaker 3: you can play your atrocity, then play your an Eye
- 41:40Speaker 3: for an Eye and get everything going in the same
- 41:42Speaker 3: turn and just leave them to deal with it.
- 41:45Speaker 2: This is true.
- 41:46Speaker 3: The only thing that the only thing that holds this
- 41:50Speaker 3: card back for me from being stronger is the fact
- 41:53Speaker 3: that you have to discard your whole hand. The better
- 41:55Speaker 3: my deck is, the less likely I am to want
- 41:57Speaker 3: to do that. Now, play enough and you can work
- 42:02Speaker 3: around it and figure out when it's correct and not.
- 42:04Speaker 3: But I think that also does make it better and sealed.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I like it. I like it a lot, but I'm
- 42:15Speaker 2: only gonna give it a four. It's gonna be a
- 42:19Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't want to give it too high.
- 42:20Speaker 2: I'm going four four.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I like four.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's four too high. I mean,
- 42:27Speaker 2: but it is a four power body on board, probably
- 42:31Speaker 2: gonna probably gonna reap good shot. It gets to reap.
- 42:36Speaker 2: I have it at a three if I have a reason,
- 42:38Speaker 2: if I have a reason to come back to discs,
- 42:40Speaker 2: I get to pitch two cards from your hand at random.
- 42:43Speaker 2: I do like leaving my opponent with four card hands.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Yeah you know it's we got it at a four.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I'll keep it going, all right.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Oh you shouldn't have it is just a card with
- 42:58Speaker 2: a pip of vember, because it all has a fate.
- 43:01Speaker 2: But fate your opponent game's three umber. It's ah kay No,
- 43:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Gain an immediate amber by playing it.
- 43:14Speaker 2: One umber by playing it, or a three umber by
- 43:16Speaker 2: putting it our fate, which could lead me right into
- 43:19Speaker 2: a red line. But I guess I get to make
- 43:21Speaker 2: that decision when I'm playing it, so I need to
- 43:25Speaker 2: do better.
- 43:28Speaker 3: I would give a three off the bat if you
- 43:35Speaker 3: have terrible prophecies. This does nothing. It's an amber. There's
- 43:41Speaker 3: plenty of cards that almost do nothing but are situationally good,
- 43:46Speaker 3: and this is literally nothing. If your prophecies aren't triggering.
- 43:49Speaker 2: I agree. I have it edit too, You have it
- 43:52Speaker 2: edit two. Yeah.
- 43:55Speaker 3: I mean when it does trigger, it's half a key. Sure,
- 43:59Speaker 3: And if you can get it on a prophecy that
- 44:01Speaker 3: you know is most likely going to trigger at the
- 44:03Speaker 3: end of the opponent's turn, then you can forge with this. Yeah.
- 44:09Speaker 3: In theory, and unless they know it's there, they can't
- 44:12Speaker 3: do anything about it.
- 44:13Speaker 1: This is all.
- 44:14Speaker 2: This is true.
- 44:14Speaker 3: I don't think I can do it too, like you
- 44:17Speaker 3: could in theory, end your turn not in check and
- 44:21Speaker 3: they can check for key three and you can win
- 44:23Speaker 3: because of this. Three is enough that it's a good swing.
- 44:28Speaker 3: I got I gotta give it three at least, Bookie.
- 44:34Speaker 2: I'm I'm right there at three.
- 44:36Speaker 1: All right. Three d is pois strike TOOI.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Poised strike pit November every time you play it, which
- 44:48Speaker 2: will only probably be like once or twice because it's
- 44:50Speaker 2: an upgrade. After a player ready is this creature? Destroy it?
- 44:54Speaker 2: Fate skip your ready card, step this turn?
- 45:01Speaker 3: Uh I I want to say two.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Wow that you are my spirit animal Holy Christ. That
- 45:14Speaker 2: immediately number came out of my mouth spelled out. I
- 45:17Speaker 2: was like, is it? I feel too? But I could
- 45:19Speaker 2: go maybe a little like I so desperately want like
- 45:23Speaker 2: exhausted creatures to be a thing, and it just never
- 45:26Speaker 2: ever pans out, Like every now and again you get
- 45:29Speaker 2: that one dude, what's that guy? Sybil right, Simbil Waymare
- 45:34Speaker 2: or Wayfair or whatever it is, and like, man, it
- 45:37Speaker 2: just every now and again it just rex face and
- 45:40Speaker 2: you're just like giddy the whole day, right, But like
- 45:43Speaker 2: it typically doesn't do that, so I don't know.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Yeah, the after ready's destroy it is enough that if
- 45:54Speaker 3: it's an important use, I'm just gonna save it until
- 45:57Speaker 3: I need it. You're probably not playing this on something
- 46:01Speaker 3: that you have the ability to destroy yourself correct. So
- 46:05Speaker 3: there's that and then the fate. I would say, most times,
- 46:10Speaker 3: I'm not playing the same house multiple times in a row.
- 46:16Speaker 3: There are decks where that is not true, Like Olympia
- 46:18Speaker 3: just wants to do Mars so, yeah, it hits that.
- 46:22Speaker 1: For a turn.
- 46:24Speaker 3: There's also plenty of stuff that ready. Is that and
- 46:25Speaker 3: that's why it wants to play Mars so.
- 46:31Speaker 2: And it's it's I hate upgrades. Are there any upgrades
- 46:38Speaker 2: that you're like happy to see? I don't just not.
- 46:40Speaker 2: I never feel like that's that's the case. Dds, I
- 46:44Speaker 2: think that might be it. That's the only upgrade I've
- 46:45Speaker 2: been like, oh yeah, man, I can even go one
- 46:51Speaker 2: and it only happens once because after you're ready the creature,
- 46:53Speaker 2: it's just well, okay, yeah, because that's the fate. Never
- 46:56Speaker 2: mind does kill brio though, if it's used. If it's used,
- 47:07Speaker 2: this is also very true.
- 47:10Speaker 3: I haven't seen any like, why would you use it
- 47:12Speaker 3: in that situation? That exhausts anything that exhausts No, I'm
- 47:25Speaker 3: coming down.
- 47:26Speaker 2: To a one. Two is my original thing. But I
- 47:29Speaker 2: think I'm going down to a one too.
- 47:34Speaker 3: I'm sticking with two.
- 47:35Speaker 2: All right, let's go to the relativity imp use your
- 47:39Speaker 2: new dust Pixie kind of not really at all. You
- 47:42Speaker 2: get you get see a pip of eepper every time
- 47:44Speaker 2: you play it. You cannot forge more than two keys
- 47:48Speaker 2: each turn. After you forge a key during your forge
- 47:52Speaker 2: a key step, you may forge another key at current cost.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Two.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Well, my question is has this set proven to us
- 48:06Speaker 2: that you can even possibly think about forging two keys
- 48:09Speaker 2: in one turn?
- 48:15Speaker 3: Uh?
- 48:16Speaker 2: Some of the Saurian stuff, Maybe you can, right, because
- 48:20Speaker 2: I do believe epic poems in Saurian. Yeah, so I
- 48:23Speaker 2: guess you could burst in Saurian.
- 48:27Speaker 1: You can burst in Sorian, but picture you need to
- 48:30Speaker 1: have relatively relativity.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Imp out right, right, right? Well, well.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Is going to make it really tricky, right, I.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Was thinking, is it even possible for me to get
- 48:42Speaker 2: twelve ember to even think about using relativity imp because
- 48:47Speaker 2: if you can't even use him, he's useless in the
- 48:50Speaker 2: first place.
- 48:51Speaker 3: I think it's definitely possible and set. I do think
- 48:54Speaker 3: it's not possible in diss which is what hits this
- 48:57Speaker 3: the most, because now it has live an extra turn
- 49:01Speaker 3: for me to burst unless I look into the coolest
- 49:04Speaker 3: house Pips of all time.
- 49:06Speaker 2: The coolest house Pips. You have a scene a man.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Uh two, it is a pip of umber. So yeah,
- 49:15Speaker 2: I'll go. I'll go too. I guess that's a threat.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Yeah, one for each key. This won't help me forge.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Yeah, carrion Worm two power beast might be the smallest
- 49:29Speaker 2: beast ever printed. Oh two power one armor. It's moving
- 49:33Speaker 2: up in the world. After reap destroy an enemy creature
- 49:36Speaker 2: right on scrap Oh shit, they're scraping the set. Put
- 49:41Speaker 2: an enemy creature on top of its owner's deck. I
- 49:48Speaker 2: like the after reap, but I don't know if he
- 49:49Speaker 2: makes it.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so what's interesting of notice? This starts your new Uh,
- 49:55Speaker 1: this starts your comments for this, which is really important
- 49:59Speaker 1: to see you should end up with more often.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Not not thrilled on this one.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Uh, it's essential. I mean you can scrap it for bubbles.
- 50:12Speaker 2: If I can scrap it for a bubbles effect. But
- 50:14Speaker 2: bubbles five power body on board, right, so he's tough
- 50:18Speaker 2: to deal with. I'm getting an ember out of him. Yeah.
- 50:20Speaker 2: If I play the Carrion Worm, does he make it
- 50:23Speaker 2: to the next time I'm ready to reap with him?
- 50:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Let me propose this to you. It doesn't kill brio.
- 50:31Speaker 3: It does by you this turn, and then they have
- 50:35Speaker 3: to draw it next their next turn, and you get
- 50:38Speaker 3: one more turn.
- 50:39Speaker 2: So I, yeah, I can't put Brio back on top
- 50:42Speaker 2: of your deck. Yeah, that's let's turn it half right, okay, right,
- 50:47Speaker 2: and if you.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Have something the next turn to deal with hands, you know,
- 50:52Speaker 3: you can start to do something about that. Maybe I
- 50:54Speaker 3: still got to deal with culp, but I've I've loosened
- 50:57Speaker 3: up the no action, so that's probably an easier task.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Now, Okay, okay, this.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Also doesn't use up your colp uh.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Your coup trigger. Okay, okay, yep, yup. Okay, all right, that's.
- 51:13Speaker 3: Put a trash creature on their deck. They have to
- 51:15Speaker 3: draw a trash creature.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Yeah, said does have the dexter effect.
- 51:20Speaker 4: Yep.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Oh, I think it's more versatile being scrapped, which there's
- 51:30Speaker 3: not a ton of discard pips in this set, so
- 51:35Speaker 3: that hurts it a little bit. You're probably doing it
- 51:37Speaker 3: in house, but I think the uses in which you
- 51:39Speaker 3: are scrapping it in house, you are probably very happy
- 51:43Speaker 3: for that effect.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Mm hmmmm hm. Three.
- 51:52Speaker 3: I want to give it a three.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you've talked it up, you've you've you've wiggled it,
- 51:58Speaker 2: you've wiggled it up for me.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I still have it at a two if you're going
- 52:02Speaker 1: three three three two, got it all right?
- 52:05Speaker 3: I did just use this several times to continue to
- 52:08Speaker 3: put the same creatures on top of someone's deck. So
- 52:11Speaker 3: in a game tonight, it was a lot of fun.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Maybe for you, but that poor person who did it
- 52:18Speaker 2: all right? Uh, what do we got next? After that?
- 52:22Speaker 2: The chat? The one power skirmish splash attack one what
- 52:30Speaker 2: a powerhouse fate archive each friendly creature not on a flank?
- 52:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to start it at a three with
- 52:47Speaker 3: the lack of full board wipes. If a big board
- 52:50Speaker 3: shows up, this most likely creates a dirty archive full
- 52:54Speaker 3: of creatures I haven't seen a ton of play effects.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Then I'm super worried about giving them.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Back us playing clearly I want to get rid of Yeah.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I mean you'll see you'll see some return from cards
- 53:08Speaker 1: that have existed previously, but for the most part, it's
- 53:12Speaker 1: not there this. Yes, you definitely want to lean into
- 53:16Speaker 1: the fate, but if your faith, if your prophecies are
- 53:20Speaker 1: full uh skirmish splash tech one for one, Yeah, I
- 53:28Speaker 1: think you're leaning heavy into the fate. I place it
- 53:31Speaker 1: at a two.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm cool with that, I say one, but all right,
- 53:37Speaker 2: three one one. I don't even know if I like
- 53:39Speaker 2: the face. If I'm growing up against grim reminders, man,
- 53:42Speaker 2: I might be throwing us in the garbage.
- 53:45Speaker 3: Well then you just play it.
- 53:47Speaker 2: This might go to the bin. Yeah right, well then
- 53:50Speaker 2: I play. I play. So I played a card the
- 53:53Speaker 2: one power that die into any damage. I don't even
- 53:56Speaker 2: know if you like one power of creatures that don't
- 53:59Speaker 2: have ember pips on them anymore, or even worth even
- 54:01Speaker 2: having they die to any ember pip or I'm sorry,
- 54:06Speaker 2: any damage pip.
- 54:08Speaker 1: I just not seeing a ton of damage that's.
- 54:11Speaker 2: There is not in this set.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Yeah, archive hate there is, Yeah, archive hate.
- 54:16Speaker 3: There is, but action that just I think wipes the
- 54:19Speaker 3: opponents are kind of imperium charges back, Like there are
- 54:22Speaker 3: things that combo with this that you know, you're playing
- 54:25Speaker 3: it on a nun or you're sitting you can follow
- 54:29Speaker 3: up with and also you get nothing out of it
- 54:32Speaker 3: you can follow up with. Yeah, but that's why I
- 54:36Speaker 3: think one is one is low. When you need stuff
- 54:38Speaker 3: off the board, you need stuff off the board.
- 54:41Speaker 2: I guess. But like comparatively against other cards, I just
- 54:44Speaker 2: don't think it's stacks like in a sealed matchup. Fine,
- 54:48Speaker 2: this is like, this is desperate ce.
- 54:52Speaker 1: So here here's where my issue is with the low
- 54:54Speaker 1: card count. I can see it as a two, but
- 54:58Speaker 1: if I'm seeing multiples of these, this goes down to
- 55:02Speaker 1: one one like yeah, you three four, like.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Probably don't want three. I definitely don't want five.
- 55:08Speaker 1: No, no, So how about that? That'll be my compromise.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I will put two.
- 55:18Speaker 3: With a.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Two two one. Yeah, as soon as we hit as
- 55:26Speaker 1: soon as we hit three, I think that it's just yeah, yeah,
- 55:31Speaker 1: I agree.
- 55:31Speaker 2: All right, alrighty, I'm glad we all agreed on that
- 55:35Speaker 2: addie of discs to November. Every time you play an action, play,
- 55:39Speaker 2: shuffle random card from your opponent's hand end of their deck.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Fate your opponent shuffles their discard pile into their deck.
- 55:46Speaker 2: They draw a card. H I don't know if I
- 55:51Speaker 2: like the fate. I kind of like the play, so I.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Have already twice. I'd say the best use for the
- 56:03Speaker 3: fate effect of this card is to trigger the other
- 56:08Speaker 3: prophecy of your opponent shuffling, which never triggers almost never
- 56:12Speaker 3: triggers otherwise, and then chain them. Still not great that
- 56:19Speaker 3: you need one to trigger the other. But there's a use.
- 56:23Speaker 2: I don't mind shuffling a random card from my opponent's
- 56:25Speaker 2: hand into their deck. That's okay. They they're going to
- 56:31Speaker 2: see it eventually anyways. Yes, I understand, but I mean.
- 56:36Speaker 1: An amber pit an amber pip and uh, limiting what
- 56:41Speaker 1: they have access to is nice. Yes, the fate I
- 56:46Speaker 1: think could be useful against g R. I don't necessarily
- 56:50Speaker 1: like to go ahead and give them the draw, but
- 56:53Speaker 1: there's there are times where I'd like to go ahead
- 56:56Speaker 1: and get rid of their discard pile before things get archived.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Unhunting in the right situation can be correct.
- 57:06Speaker 1: This seems very okay. Three, I like three. Yeah, fine,
- 57:16Speaker 1: where I'm at?
- 57:17Speaker 2: Fine? Yeah, theree is fine. I don't know, I don't
- 57:22Speaker 2: know if I guess, I mean, I don't know. I'm
- 57:26Speaker 2: still hugging up. I don't mind the discarding a card
- 57:28Speaker 2: into their deck. I really that's fine. And disruption is
- 57:31Speaker 2: always good, and disruption is always good. It's gotta keep
- 57:34Speaker 2: telling myself that an inscription is always good. Okay. Hamstrung
- 57:39Speaker 2: one Pip November. Every time you play it, play discard
- 57:41Speaker 2: the top card of a player's deck if it's a
- 57:43Speaker 2: creature purge it. I mean, okay, I could see this
- 57:56Speaker 2: having an effect.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Ish, do I want to discard against geistoid at some point?
- 58:06Speaker 3: It doesn't matter, But early, I don't know that I
- 58:09Speaker 3: want to do that.
- 58:10Speaker 2: You don't want to give them the haunted? Is that
- 58:12Speaker 2: what you're saying?
- 58:14Speaker 3: Yeah, in the first two three turns, do I really
- 58:16Speaker 3: want to cycle them there faster?
- 58:18Speaker 1: Like?
- 58:18Speaker 3: Do I want to feel that in here? If it's
- 58:20Speaker 3: not a creature, I don't.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Again, I don't know necessarily if you really have to
- 58:24Speaker 2: worry about that, because decks that want to get haunted
- 58:27Speaker 2: are really good at it.
- 58:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:32Speaker 2: So, but if it's that creature, that critter, you know,
- 58:35Speaker 2: if it's that Brio, that KAlP, that that witch Queen,
- 58:39Speaker 2: that that grim Reaper, that who am I thinking of?
- 58:46Speaker 2: You know, maybe well trying, I'm trying to think of
- 58:50Speaker 2: all the Like, there's a plethora of Mars card that
- 58:52Speaker 2: I'd be like, yeah, now you don't have to I'm
- 58:55Speaker 2: cool with that.
- 58:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess Mars even just in volume I.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Mean even then, like it is more information right, like,
- 59:04Speaker 2: so it'd be like, okay, you know, I hit it, Oh,
- 59:08Speaker 2: I hit I hit that red line. I hit that
- 59:10Speaker 2: against all flags. Now I know that you even if
- 59:13Speaker 2: I don't and I hit an important card, I now
- 59:20Speaker 2: have more information and know where I kind of sit
- 59:23Speaker 2: ish takes takes things out of the equation.
- 59:29Speaker 1: So a couple of things here, you get an amber pip.
- 59:31Speaker 1: You're getting that it is common, so you can see multiples.
- 59:35Speaker 1: It also could be just random to go ahead and
- 59:39Speaker 1: almost like a reverse wormhole. I can discard because it
- 59:42Speaker 1: says top card of a player's deck.
- 59:45Speaker 2: So yeah, I mean, I don't know if you ever
- 59:48Speaker 2: used this on you, sure you can, and I know
- 59:52Speaker 2: I know you can.
- 59:53Speaker 3: They're definitely at the end of the deck if I too. Yeah,
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: and if you're not drawing everything you see and you
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: just want it out, you can future booster and if
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: it's garbage, just toss it correct.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: With the star alliance, with the peak of what we
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: have access to, I definitely want to thin, so I
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: have no problem in certain areas.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: Okay, I'm screwing too, but I'm more confident about it.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Now I I I, yeah, I don't know if I
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: want to see this. I wish we did half numbers.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: I'm fine with two, like four. What are you saying?
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: You said you scrap your carrying worm, put Brian on
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: top of the deck, play this, purge it and purge it.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, there you go. There's your combo for you. Yeah,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: that's that's that's a settlement two commons. So we got
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: to get what the carrion worm gets a gets a
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: four and hamstrung gets a three, and therefore when you
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: add them together, it's a haven't right, That's how that's
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: that's definitely how these ratings work. No, yeah, yeah, parasitic
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: arachnoid two power beast. What's with all the tiny beasts?
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Nobody just me huh okay destroyed. An enemy creature captures
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: one from its own side, fate a friendly creature captures
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: two from its own side. I mean I like it too.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: I think it's fine. But again I think it's right,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: and that like one just doesn't matter anymore, does it.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: It's something, it's it's there, but no, it's not a major.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: The quietness I think told me everything I really needed
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: to hear. Yeah, like it's okay, Like it's not bad.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: It's a body on board. The fate's probably a little
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: bit better. And depending on how good your fates are,
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: you can trigger this with a good amount of success.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: So maybe it's just middle of the road at a
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: three and it's fine, or maybe.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: I like the versatility. I like the fact that, of
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: course getting anything out of hand for prophecies that are
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: triggering is just good speed. But in a potential almost
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: immediate out of house capture two from the inside is
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: pretty good. I wouldn't mind seeing this in multiples because
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: then I'm filtering through my disk because I know what
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: I'm putting under my prophecies.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Well not just depends on if your prophecies can trigger not,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: because you're talking an ARCon.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: If I'm playing an ARC on PV deck and my
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: prophecies aren't triggering, then like that's like the strange shell deck, right, Like, yeah, okay,
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: it'll happen, but like that's not the good ones most
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: of the time.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Fair enough, So we all cool with three?
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: The Pied Piper three power Beast with elusive Pied Viper.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: What did I say, pied piper? Yeah, yeah, this is
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: a pied viper.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Do you think it's hurled on a pipe?
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: It would look to be a flute of some design. Yes,
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: it's elusive. After an enemy creature reaps if there are
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: more enemy creatures and friendly creatures gain control of that
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: creature after creature reefs. If so, this just doesn't trigger
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: no no, no, yes, yes, yes, what do you mean?
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: No?
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: After after an anemy creature reaps? So after an enemy creature.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: So after an enemy creature, my opponent's creature reaps if
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: there are more enemy creatures. So if my opponent has
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: more creatures than me, I get to take the creature
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: that just reaped. Yes, yeah, correct, So why would I
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: reap knowing I'm going to have to get rid of
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: a creature unless it has Ember on it?
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: So what that has more value than you're giving a
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: credit for now they're not reaping.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Fair.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Yes, it's because they're not reaping.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: I think this just dice. I mean, yeah, you save
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: yourself to Ember.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: It's yeah, it's elusive, so if they want to fight it,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: it has to be.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Twice any reap effects that you may be giving.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I just think that with Sarian being in sat and.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Also I think you forget splash attack too, So if
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: this isn't next to anything, they might not even have
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: to fight it to kill it.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: I've only seen splash attack one in this set, and
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: we all agree with when you're playing that card.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: In this set. Yes, in this set, but there are
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: other sets out there that do exist. And this card
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: just to me just I mean, yeah, you take away too,
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: but I don't know I could, I could give it
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: a two.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I think this is too much of a liability.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: A too well what a liability? Explain?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Okay, so I can go ahead and out of set,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I can go ahead and have more creatures than you
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: now I reap, send it over, and then I can
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: work of diss you like there are.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: Oh you're talking that way, because my whole thing was like, cool,
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: you play the pie viper. Not only that, don't forget
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: what's in this set. Tribute well, but tribute, I tribute,
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: I exalt. Still all your amber reap here you go.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: You can have them. You just gave him the exile.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: I mean, Sorian is brutal in set, like if you
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: see sorry, and I don't think that you can play.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: That's that was my first concern, waste. And then you're like, well,
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: here you go, here's my here's my guy loaded up
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: with ember for me. Thanks.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: Yeah, built effort in set against those two. Youre probably
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: not playing it out of set. It does shut down
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: a lot of Mars shenanigans if you can't take care
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: of it first.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: This that that I will give you.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: So you know it might buy you a turn, if
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: only because they have to use that first readying just
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: to kill it and they can't continue to loop until
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: the next turn. I'm not going to give it a
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: high rating. I think the situations that you don't play
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: it are just as frequent as the situations where you
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: want to play it as a deterrent against other sets.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: I would go too, Oh, okay, that's where I was.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: I was at two the way you were talking of, Like, man,
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: this guy's gonna give it a four or five? What
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: a crazy man?
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: No?
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: No, okay, yeah, two is good.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: I'm not playing this.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Okay, all right. Scorpion three Power Beast Recruiter. It has
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: enhanced one dis after reap deal two damage to an
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: enemy creature for each of Scorpions dis neighbors. Get over here,
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: what's yeah, what's two damage? And what's one PIP?
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: At least just a com it's two for each.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: So if you know I'm saying that the PIP like
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: this is literally one house enhancement PIP and the whole
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: set one one. I mean, at least it's common, so
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: I guess you could see it multiple times? Do I
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: want multiple scorpions? Mm hmmm?
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: Uh where the other house pip cards?
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: You know?
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: I didn't didn't even look.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Let me.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Like, do we also have the rare that gives two
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: would be the same.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: In set? Uh? Do? I'm checking now? I guess I
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: can uncheck that.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: There's four amber Sky's.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Deck Dad is here?
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Oh god, a gift of Amber and infinity drop.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: So no, so we don't have the other house pips.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: No other house pips the one common in furnaces bad.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: Definitely makes it worse without the ability to get like
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: four disc pips deck well, not without, but I.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Do like in furnace being back. I do like delta
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: pe being back. Sorry, we got we got two other cards,
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: all right? So uh two?
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Yeah? Two?
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: For efficiency?
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: I mean, I just I don't. I don't know. If
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: I don't know, Next one up, Strug, I'll go two.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I guess I could even be talking one.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Strug Strug play destroyed. Your opponent loses an umber, fate
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: lose to Umber. It seems very midigan the two umber loss.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: Either way, it's just how you get it. Yep, with
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: a body that with a body that's whatever it reaps.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: At least it doesn't say something stupid like I can't reap.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll put it out a three.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: Three.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: I was kind of thinking three. I don't mind multiples
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: of this with some some shenanigans, some gift member.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Okay, fair enough, that isn't set, So all right, three
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: sounds good, and then we move on to the final
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: new card. We'll talk about some returning cards here in
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: a second traumatic echo, play a perject card from your
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: disc card pile during your opponents the next turn, they
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: cannot play cards of the perche cards type.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: I like this one quite a bit.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: I like this one quite a bit too. I kind
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: of wish it was an artifact. That's weird for me
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: to say, but ah, I guess it might have been
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: broken at that point.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Yeah. So with it being an action, you can at common,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: you can have multiples, so I can go ahead and
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: keep you from playing both actions and creatures.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: Or artifacts or opt grades.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: No, I'm going to choose the two that I chose,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: or I'm going to let you play artifacts and upgrades
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: and call that a real win. My friend.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: I was just giving you all the options. That's all
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: I was doing.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but I that's where I am. I think that
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: that is it's a real good card.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: I want to say, this is a stealth moment without
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: the PET because we're probably choosing an.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: Action atility and filtering out your own deck a little bit,
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: which I wouldn't mind. I want to give it a four.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: I could, I could be right on board with that.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I'm putting it at five.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: I could also No, I could put it at a
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: I put it at a four.
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: My my issue that makes it not a five is
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: that if I don't have anything already going on in disc,
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: it's not doing much for me. So I can't loop
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: multiple turns.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: And there's so many good actions and discs that I
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: don't want to get rid of. Well, I guess there's
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: other actions in other houses. Doesn't have to be with
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: this house.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Yeah, purge a card from your discard, now your discard.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: It's a bummer if it hits early or you don't have,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: like you have some cards that you're hoping to cycle
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: back into. But the short bit is I am thinning.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I am liking this. I am going ahead and restricting what.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: A lot of purging in this disk house a lot
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: of purging.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: The problem is is that you don't have ways to
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: really cycle and replay.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: I don't know if that's necessarily a problem.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: Well to truly get some efficiency from it, I.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Would like to.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: You get a little bit in logos in some throat
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: other houses. But here in diss, I'm not playing it
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: and then recurring it right away.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: Well, I mean, but there's a lot of cards that
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: are doing it right. So going into some of the
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: notable returns, yeah, I could have swore I saw it,
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: but maybe I didn't. Maybe that was when I actually
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: clicked the wrong button. I think it was because I
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: thought I saw clipped wings, but now I don't see it,
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: so it must have been when I hit the wrong button.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: But in furnace notable notable return of in furnace infinity
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: strop makes I mean, if I had a way of
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: recurring in furnace more often would be better. Not infinity strap.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Gift November is a return right gift November is there,
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: So now I can kill my in furnace, I can
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: get it back and gain a number for doing so.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Notable bad cards the fucking key imps are back.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's especially go ahead.
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: What's the rarety equivalent for those? Are they uncommon?
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Well, they're lated rarity, but I don't know where those
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: what actual rarity they are, because you can feel.
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: Like the even an odd Ivan and Claude I said
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: it like that. Uh, I think it's like those where
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: they take up the same slot, so you're much less
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: likely to get multiples. I don't know that you can't,
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: but I feel like they're like uncommon equivalents. I out
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: cracked a handful of this. I felt like every other
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: deck had at least one of these things.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I don't care about bronze and silver. I just have
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: issues that you no because gold key creates situations where
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: you're in a stalemate where knowing knowing can force the
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: third and so yay, we're going to time off of
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: that that there there are situations.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: What do you mean that's your favorite? That's your favorite thing?
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Sure it is. I think that they're I mean I
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: think that a really really good board wipe coming back
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: is delta P just if your opponent controls more creatures
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: than you. Repeat it with an amber. Yes, I think
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: that inferral in infernal I can't say it right now
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Karen Infernal char Yes, great, it's real good.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: I'm not unhappy to see Lifeboard.
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: Lifeward is back. Yep. Lifeboard is a really good well.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: I haven't seen Lifeboard in a while. Coda right, just
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: coda for life Ward. Let me see where is life work?
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Coda a way Menagerie.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Menagerie. Yeah, that's a set that exists.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: Yeah you remember all those life words you pulled Menie?
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no I pulled, I pulled U shadows bombs
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: or whatever the hell it was called. It's all artifacts, thanks, Menagerie.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I do like seeing Polterglise coming back with some artifact control.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I'm always fine with that. I think that they tell
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: no lies again, provide c so you're seeing a gift
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: November they tell no Lies. Delta Delta P and Lifeboard
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: so dis again. Another really nice house for controlling and
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: being able to wipe boards.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Everybody's favorite man. This is just this is all the
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: hits from Ala Bloodshired.
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: And.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: That's what I You're gonna say, which one.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Were you going with? There's another one that Ortano Oh
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: no no no, no, no no no no. I know
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: it's Dan's favorite creature, but no I never wanted to
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: see him ever again.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: But think about the ability to destroy creatures and come
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: to some of this.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: No, no, it's flow and it takes up two other
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: card slots that could have been atrocities.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Yep. And now now you just got our tattoos bindings.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Interestingly, Uh, you were talked about purge cards and creeping
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: and living also coming back. Yeah, so the two cards
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: are just scarp So there is a lot of purge
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: here in this disc.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: Well, here's some more sea for you. They tell no tales.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: I mean that's kind of a it's a weird see
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: do we do we talk about to tell no tales? Okay?
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: I did? Okay? And banishes and banish it. It's all
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: the AOA hits.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Yeah, banish it comes in at common too, so that helps.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, So I.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Think what's important always look at your your comments. So
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: when we're looking, try hard at gift of amber, banished
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: carry worm, chasm, vespid, dark minion, addy of diss, hamstrung infinity,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: strop in furnace, parasitic, arachnoid, pivi viper, scorpion, strug traumatic echo.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: What do you guys think of that? Common set. It's
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: some amber control.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: Got a little bit well, I don't mind it, but
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: again it's gonna have to be that right, that right,
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: that right mix.
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: I think there's enough good cards in here that good
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: disc will be frequent enough.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Yes, like there's enough c enough I am. I'm so
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: hoping Baltimore is pv P sealed and I want a
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: gold Kia.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: I was specifically told no, and I'm still hoping Portland is.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Portland, I think I know there's said Portland was
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: an absolutely known as fifty percent shot at Baltimore. Yeah,
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: but I want to pull a gold gold keyemp just
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: so I can and be like, see, this is why
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: we don't reprint these garbage cards. I don't know whose
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: decision that was or bloodshired imp.
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: I do think based on the real tough cards in
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: this dis house, that a good number of the good
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: TV decks will have this.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think this was one of the top
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: ones we we had talked about already. Right, It's like,
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: sorry and we said it was real good. What do
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: we say you were here at e Walk Sorry and
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: I know we said was real good. Do we say this?
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: We had not talked about that.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: We're not talking. I thought we did. I thought we
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: talked about the the allocations of where they were, but
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: maybe we didn't. I thought we did, Well, we can
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: do that afterward.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: But yeah, I'm to see your numbers for all the
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: sets or all the houses. I have an idea which
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: one I think is going to be the worst. But
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: I think this is up there for sure. And sorry,
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: and I think this and Sorian.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: Yeah sorry, and is has the ability to be a
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: real monster. Yeah sorry, and could be real dumb oh Imperial,
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: we did. We did it for vault Master twenty five.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: That's what we did when we ranked them. That's what
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: we did. I forgot it was a fault Master. I
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: know we ranked something. I was just like, I don't
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: remember what we ranked though, but vault Master twenty five.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: But overall we'll get the I think we'll. Once drafs
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: Car is done doing with drass Car things, he might
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: be able to give us a give us a rating
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: on it, right, average score? Man? I you know what
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: are we going over? Is it logos next week? Probably right?
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: Or is it Equadon? Probably Equedon. Equodon is not in
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: set his logos. Yeah, there's no Equaedon. No so yeah,
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: logos will be the next one we go over. But sorry,
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: and that one dude you played on me this week
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: was just stupid. I hate him already, Thank goodness. He's
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: a rare nickter Justinian. He's a four power dinosaur. Every time,
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: every time you, every time an opponent plays a card,
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: deal one damage to each enemy creature. The card is stupid.
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: I got turn one do on that thing and basically
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: shut down my whole hand.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: It's like rats, but just whatever you play card, but
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: But one sided correct And now I've got a handful
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: of two power martist creatures that I could do absolutely
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: nothing with. This is awesome, fantastic, but we'll go over
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: those another day. Big thank you to Mammon for coming
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: on and joining us for this week's episode. Since we
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: have missing misfits, you can see Mammon, you're going to Portland,
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: right sure, Mammon? I think is the only one going
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: to Portland? Is Drascore going with you?
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: No? That was the one he couldn't make.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Okay, a lot of people can't make Portland. I think
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: it's the strip clubs.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: I think you'll have a good representation from our West
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Coast friends. The only other thing I wanted to say
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: before we go, a little bit of spoilers. So if
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: you need to close your ears, close your ears. But
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: looking at our retail packaging instead of named Dex for
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: the stores, it looks like they have different packaging that
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: says keep arge prophetic visions and emulation detail that you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: got it. So there is a foil card. So we
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: talked about it and they look real, they look good.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Yeah, do we have did somebody post pictures? I'm sure
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: somebody did somewhere.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's in spoiler so go check it out
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: if you haven't seen it. But the foil the treatment
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: is very cool. Yep. I think that that's done very
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: very well.
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: So yeah, I can see one in real life. And
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: what the videos are good?
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: But I don't see them. Why don't I see them?
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I don't see them there.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: Enlisted?
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: Oh yeah there, because it's like a targeted foil on
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: the art. But also the house logo.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah, and.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: It looks like hopefully all pips that end up on it,
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: but the Amber pip for sure.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: Yeah, the pip does look like it has been foiled
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: out from what I can see. Yeah, so I'll expect
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: my check of the mail ghost galaxy, still waiting, still
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: waiting on all those other ones. So you need my address.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: You know where I am. So I'm saying you're welcome
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: for all those all those tens of dollars you're pulling
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: in from Alliance can cut a dog a bone, just saying.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: That's all I'm saying. If you want, you know, you should.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: But that's gonna do it for us this week. I forgot.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: All the other people who told me why I'm never
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: going to see a check aren't here. But that's okay,
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: But that's what One day, one day they'll they'll realize
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: my genius. But that's gonna do it for us this week.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: We will see everybody next week for some logos, right logos? Yeah,
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: that's right, all right, we'll see y'all next week.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: May the Forge be with you.
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: Oh I'm and you got a phone for drafs car
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: You got to give his his his line?
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: Oh yeah, the one. I know it so well. I
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: listen to it every week.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: Yeah, what is it?
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: Later?
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: Loss, No, that's not it at all, I believe, he says,
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: happy portuge forging everybody. But later losers will do Later,
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: losers will see you next week s
