Taylor Barg is a former division 1 soccer player for SMU who went into engineering after university. She recently shifted her path toward medicine, however, by entering a post-baccalaureate program. I met Taylor when I played as a practice player my sophomore year on the women’s soccer team and as I mention in the episode, even as a younger player, she was a clear leader who brought both the energy and level of play up during games while retaining a composed mindset.
