With temps forecasted to soar past 92 degrees this Fourth of July weekend, Richmond’s stepping up with cooling centers and open pools to keep you safe and cool. Salvation Army on Chamberlayne, Southside Plaza, and all public libraries (closed Fri-Sat, reopening Sun) are ready to help — plus, Battery Park, Blackwell, Fairmount, Hotchkiss Field, Powhatan, and Randolph pools will be open 1–7 PM daily from Fri, July 3rd through Sun, July 5th.
